00:01:46.820So, Sister Loretta, this is fascinating.
00:01:49.580You are a Carmelite, and I was somewhat confused when we were setting up for the show.
00:01:55.060I asked you, boy, you're a traditional nun looking for the traditional Mass.
00:02:00.900You must be cancelled or something, because that usually doesn't fly.
00:02:05.380But then you explained something to me really neat about bishops and how you would survive
00:02:10.820under different bishops, even modernist bishops.
00:02:13.500if you would tell us about that. So with our community, we're part of the traditional
00:02:20.660Carmelite order, the order that Teresa of Avila founded. This is not about founding a new order.
00:02:28.000This is just continuing what Holy Mother Teresa of Avila established for centuries now. And the
00:02:36.000traditions of Carmel are quite different than how other traditional orders work, especially when it
00:02:43.380comes to vows carmelite vows traditionally have always been private meaning that you don't need
00:02:50.360a bishop to publicly oversee the ceremony to accept the vows carmelite vows have always been
00:02:58.040between the nun god and her the superior of the monastery in the presence of her community and
00:03:06.360especially that's how the formula for our vows is written and that's what we've been doing since
00:03:12.720the hermits of carmel of old so in this day and age we can continue to do that without having any
00:03:21.640kind of need to you know get permission for vows or etc because that's just how the traditions of
00:03:29.480our order have always been which is a beautiful thing and a very helpful thing in these this day
00:03:35.400age. It certainly is. You are undergoing right now a building project where you're trying to
00:03:43.400build a convent, and you have the blessing in that of Archbishop Athanasius Schneider. So
00:03:50.060while you don't need a bishop to receive your vows or anything like that, you do have at least
00:03:55.440the blessing of a very well-known bishop, a lover of the traditional mass. Yes, and Bishop Schneider,
00:04:02.520He's a wonderful and very courageous bishop, and it's very beautiful that he is so supportive of traditional Carmel, of what Holy Mother Teresa of Avila was given to do by God in her revelations and in her work.
00:04:22.740And he's been very supportive of in this day and age, you know, this crisis of the church that we're living in, that there is indeed an emergency situation and that necessitates that we protect tradition and especially protect what Teresa of Avila handed on to us throughout the centuries.
00:04:43.500and so um he's been such a wonderful spiritual guide you know anytime you hear of him you know
00:04:51.520in the catholic news he's always trying to save souls and fight in this war on sacred tradition
00:04:59.140and just lead everyone to heaven and that's for us as carmelites that's all we want to do we just
00:05:05.400want to get ourselves and as many souls as we can to heaven and the best practice to do that is
00:05:11.960through holy, sacred tradition, and so it's been a wonderful connection to have, and his blessing is
00:05:21.060always the most wonderful thing for us. A lot of folks, particularly because we live in our
00:05:27.980modern age, don't really understand the connection between what nuns do, proper nuns do, and the
00:05:36.340church as a whole. What do you see as, or how would you explain, how would St. Teresa of Avila
00:05:41.700explain the role of nuns in the church. Teresa of Avila has a very beautiful imagery or meditation,
00:05:50.140if you will, on the active life of the church and the contemplative life of the church,
00:05:56.340which she likens to St. Martha and St. Mary, the two good sisters who in their vocations were
00:06:04.800leading souls to God and doing the will of God but in two separate ways one the act of life you
00:06:12.400know taking care you know she wanted to take care of Jesus and that can be symbolized in taking care
00:06:18.640of the poor you know teaching being in like nursing or any kind of active ministry that the church
00:06:26.300desperately needs right now more than ever but also you have Saint Mary who is not to be neglected
00:06:33.700And in fact, Jesus said she has the better part because the better part that she is attending to is that loving contemplation of God and adoring him and worshiping him as he deserves to be worshipped.
00:06:48.780And this is something that Martha cannot do all the time while she is taking care of Jesus's
00:06:56.200children on earth. And just like Mary, just like Mary cannot spend all of her time working
00:07:03.800actively for the children of God, because she must be there for Jesus and Jesus alone.
00:07:11.200Saint Teresa of Avila says that Martha and Mary must walk hand in hand on the road to salvation.
00:07:17.120They work together, they encourage each other, and they help each other, and that is how
00:07:42.980And yet you're not shy of calling out what's going on. You talked about the Catholic bishops versus queer minded bishops, something that I think would shock many people.
00:07:57.480This is something that I believe that the messages of Fatima and even Akita were talking about, you know, you have bishop against bishop, cardinal against cardinal. What does that even mean? You know, when Our Lady is saying this, how can, you know, the Holy Magisterium of, you know, the union of the bishops and the Pope be fighting against each other?
00:08:20.640And we're seeing that in this day and age when you have Catholic bishops, and I mean Catholic bishops who follow the true faith and morals of Holy Mother Church, and then what I like to call queer-minded bishops, because their mind is full of that queer, diabolical nonsense.
00:08:40.560And it's not just about, you know, these priests and bishops who, you know, like, you don't have to be like Fernandez and write a book or you don't have to be whatever James Martin is doing. And, you know, not in public, I hope.
00:08:56.860Anyway, but just in your mind, you support or in your words, you affirm this, you know, LGBTQ diabolical nonsense. You are queer minded. You are actually assenting to sin, assenting to sodomy. And this is something that, you know, relates to what Jesus said in the gospel.
00:09:18.740Even if a woman, even if a poor man looks at a woman and, you know, wants to go after her in their heart, you are committing the sin of adultery.
00:09:30.220And so here with these queer minded bishops that we, you know, read about and hopefully God willing don't have in our own diocese, you know, they are assenting to this sin of sodomy.
00:09:43.700And so this is something that we are praying against, and we're praying very much for Catholic bishops to be Catholic. And for those who are not being Catholic in their faith and morals, we're praying for them as well. Because again, our role is for the salvation of souls.
00:10:01.900So but like good, good spiritual mothers will tell, you know, the children when they're being bad and, you know, might have that metal tip ruler when we say it.
00:10:10.980But her main goal is just to pray and get everyone as much as possible to heaven.
00:10:17.380There's a lot of confusion around that very issue, because now that you hear from even Pope Leo, from Pope Francis, this idea of, first of all, Francis out of the gate, who am I to judge?
00:10:31.080But later, with things like Pope Leo meeting with James Martin, inviting the LGBT pilgrimage through the Holy Door in the Vatican with all that horrific display that it was, the sense of the faithful is very, very confused.
00:10:48.820When Pope Leo met with the people at Crux to do that major interview, and it was largely
00:10:54.740about homosexuality, he explained how he didn't think the Church's teaching would change
00:11:00.220right now, but we have to change attitudes before we ever change doctrine.
00:11:06.120That freaked a lot of people out, but those who are really in the weeds are all about
00:11:10.480that and trying to suss out what it means.
00:11:12.380Bishops are saying, oh, it doesn't mean, you know, they're trying to parse it or whatever.
00:11:15.200For John Q. Public, there is no confusion. I'll give you an example. One of the priests that I knew, he would always tell me, oh, things really aren't so bad. You know, it's been bad in the past before. Then I saw him again months later and he said, oh, it's really bad. I said, what changed your mind, Father? I mean, it's all the same stuff been going on.
00:11:38.600he said he visited with the little old ladies who run the church. He said, you know, every month or
00:11:44.040two, he has to meet with them. And they do. They clean up the church. They organize everything.
00:11:49.360They put on all the bake sales and everything else. And so he has to meet with them. And,
00:11:54.240you know, they fawn over him and talk and stuff. And so it's a bit of a chore. But anyway, he was
00:11:58.960saying how he was stunned because for the first time, he recognized these little old ladies who
00:12:06.860are at every daily mass, by the way, who pay attention to the faith, like almost nobody does,
00:12:13.080they were changing. Because one of them was saying how, oh, Father, it's so, you know, it's so
00:12:18.580wonderful. We used to pray and be in tears all the time because my son, who's gay, it was, you know,
00:12:24.840just so hard. But now that things have changed and we can be welcoming and accepting and loving,
00:12:30.320it's just so wonderful now. And that's when he came back and said, okay, there's a real problem.
00:12:35.160What do you do with this? The faithful are super confused. And the priest that you mentioned,
00:12:41.160Father James Martin, he just said just the other day how he knows so many gay priests who are
00:12:48.280living celibate lives, and they're so wonderful. How is the John Q. faithful supposed to make sense
00:12:55.880of this anymore? Because they're getting it from the Pope, from his, obviously, someone he respects
00:13:01.460so much that he meets with them, James Martin, they're getting it from likely their bishop as
00:13:05.860well. What are we supposed to do? Because it seems like the very ones who are supposed to be
00:13:11.320shepherds to us are leading us down the cliff. And, you know, we don't want them to go down the
00:13:18.180cliff. We want to take them by the collar and say, you're coming up the mountain with me, you know,
00:13:21.920but if they won't listen, what do you do? And that's kind of goes into like our life as
00:13:28.720contemplatives you know we've lived the life of what do we do and sometimes there it feels like
00:13:35.740you can't actually actively do anything except pray and i know it seems like you know all you
00:13:44.000can do is pray like that's it like but that is absolutely what we need to do right now we need
00:13:50.000you know those rosary movements that are you know standing in front of the the church when they're
00:13:57.100going to have those lgbtq whatever it is masses and you know they pray against this and they pray
00:14:04.160that it stops and then hopefully the bishop will listen and shut it down um we need you know the
00:14:09.740eucharistic processions and we need we need good catholic families to just pass on what is not
00:14:16.780being passed on by you know the clergy and by you know the religious and i think this is um a very
00:14:24.960good time for how you know um bishop fulton sheen is going to be canonized soon and you know one of
00:14:32.020his famous quotes that people are saying a lot these days is that you know the the clergy the
00:14:38.520the religious the the bishops they're not going to save this world it's going to be the laity
00:14:43.680and that really does go into like the fatima message of the last battle between god and the
00:14:49.660devil is the family and having these good catholic families to raise their children is so necessary
00:14:55.980and also to look you know in spite of how fulton sheen said the religious will not save us but
00:15:02.740my little community would love to try and help and save the day you know through the rosary and
00:15:08.040the scapular and so we do ask you know catholic families like please look to your carmelite nuns
00:15:14.460you know we are here to pray and you know help in helping us to build this monastery you know
00:15:20.120we're here to be with all of you to hundreds of years from now this isn't just a momentary thing
00:15:26.500you know carmel is supposed to be um unto the end of time which was a a special blessing that
00:15:32.960our lady of mount carmel gave to the order in one of the different apparitions of carmel that's
00:15:38.760happened over the years yes it sounds like the only thing we can do is pray but also stand up
00:15:45.920you know tell your bishops and priests when they're wrong you know don't be afraid to do that
00:15:50.920because it's good you know we we're the children and we have to admonish our parents you know the
00:15:56.260fathers of the church we have it feels so strange but it's this is our day and age this is the
00:16:02.800emergency crisis of the church. So let's just get on our knees and pray and then stand up and go to
00:16:08.840Latin Mass. My dear friends, the Mother of God is calling you to her shrine at Fatima, where she
00:16:16.840performed the most outstanding public miracle in human history to warn us of the calamity the
00:16:23.700world and the church are undergoing right now. Join world-renowned prophecy experts Xavier Eral,
00:16:30.280Ted Flynn, Fr. Paul Kramer, and your favorite LifeSite personalities, Fr. Charles Murr,

00:17:09.040in simple poverty. Pray at the saints' tombs. Join the breathtaking candlelight procession

00:17:28.780the shrine. Savor the gorgeous land of Portugal where Our Lady promised that faith would always

00:17:47.400Limited, book by August 30th, and lock in the best seats for every event.
00:18:43.340the plans that you have um and uh where are you at at this point and how can people support it
00:18:50.140we have created a little non-profit that is completely controlled by the nuns so no one's
00:18:57.560going to come in here and you know suppress the monastery and take the money and run um
00:19:02.960and this is a you know a non-profit that i i'd like to express because i know people have these
00:19:10.020different ideas of what non-profit is like we're vow of poverty that and so we don't get paid for
00:19:15.500doing these prayers for doing these prayers and living our life so your donations are going
00:19:22.300exactly to where they need to go to which is building this monastery because physically and
00:19:27.780morally i have no other intention or desire know what to do with donations other than just build
00:19:34.260and so in this non-profit and we created it and we titled the the fund habit forming sisters
00:19:44.420because it was cute and we needed a name for the non-profit but it's to build our monastery of our
00:19:50.820lady co-redemptrix and this yes this is happening in high springs florida this is about the third
00:19:58.760or fourth year of this building project being active and so far we have the architectural
00:20:06.560master plan designs we've cleared some of the land for construction we have 10 acres
00:20:13.240and we're going to build a monastery a little chapel to our lady of sorrows because that
00:20:20.080connects with our lady of co-redemptrix very much so and we'll also have a little residency
00:20:27.100so priests can come visit us and say latin mass at their leisure and it will be you know public
00:20:34.120so please come to latin mass because as bishop schneider always says you know no one can take
00:20:39.120away your right to go to the latin mass and it's diabolical and we support that so and also for the
00:20:46.140priest to know that too um please be saying your latin mass at least in private if you're not able
00:20:51.880to say it publicly because this is the greatest prayer this side of paradise and it is the prayer
00:20:58.700that will make you priests holy while the novus ordo mass it's focused on praying to people or
00:21:08.140reciting prayers to the people latin mass is praying to god and focused on you yourself dear
00:21:15.980priests becoming holy and when you are holy your flock will be holy your the people behind you
00:21:22.800will be holy with you so that's what we very much encourage and also right now um we are in the
00:21:29.100process of getting the building permits so we can start using them as soon as possible and for this
00:21:36.560monastery it's completely funded by donations we are not in the business of taking loans out we
00:21:42.940have a vow of poverty why would we do that be assured that your donations are like completely
00:21:48.260for this monastery and um you know every little bit helps and thanks thank you so much to all of
00:21:55.660our supporters and benefactors so far you know we've gotten donations like all over the world
00:22:01.440so and every little bit does help and also please spread the word because the more people who know
00:22:08.300the faster we can build and um just one final point on this subject that our architect had
00:22:18.120indicated to us that what we are building is so simple actually that if we had all the money
00:22:24.900today we could build it in a year and start praying for everyone faster so um but we are
00:22:31.140praying right now but just as a community physically in one unit praying so you've got
00:22:37.300five professed sisters with you already. And how many applicants do you have?
00:22:42.240It's close to like 30. It's probably now more than 30 of different girls of, you know,
00:22:48.260young girls or 20 year olds, 30 year olds, 40 year olds. Well, we also have some belated vocations
00:22:54.500who, you know, everyone's confused after Vatican II on what to do with their vocation. I understand
00:23:00.580that and they never thought that they could become a nun um especially a traditional nun
00:23:07.160and now they're seeking out this vocation and so they've asked us and you know we're always open
00:23:14.480to anyone who needs to discern their vocation please go be a bride of christ today and also
00:23:21.820the girls that are coming to us and it's so wonderful because we haven't even like physically
00:23:27.040put the groundwork you know in yet and these girls are writing to us and they're asking to
00:23:33.260become nuns because the very few traditional monasteries that are still alive and have not
00:23:38.700been suppressed yet i should say i hope not not yet but they are so full that these girls said
00:23:46.780they have to be on a waiting list where they're waiting for nuns to die in order to just get in
00:23:53.280there and discern. And so rather than praying for nuns to die, they said, we wanted to ask you,
00:24:01.840Sister Loretta Maria, if you have any room for us. And the answer is yes, because if we run out
00:24:07.480of room and if everyone had fun building this monastery, we are so here to build another one.
00:24:12.440Like, let's do it. The world needs monasteries. The bishops and the pope need nuns who pray.
00:24:17.660and that's what we're here for. One of the gravest challenges today is for traditional
00:24:24.340convents being able to access the traditional Latin Mass. Now, it's extremely courageous what
00:24:30.000Bishop Schneider said, because he had to sort of openly, if you will, disobey. And he did that
00:24:38.900stunningly, openly. And he called it a matter of obedience, because in his determination,
00:24:43.940He was actually obeying the Pope, even though he was going against the expressed wishes of Francis, now Leo, that the Mass not be opened up.
00:24:54.460We just heard, as I said recently, the head of the dicastery that deals with the Mass, Cardinal Roach, saying Leo will not restore the traditional Latin Mass,
00:25:06.880will not go against Traditionis Custodis, which put away Simorum Pontificum, which opened it up
00:25:13.980under Benedict and it was shut down. Doing what you're doing is somewhat radical in that it's
00:25:19.720going against the expressed wishes of the current hierarchy. How do you square that? Do you fall in
00:25:26.660line with Bishop Schneider's sort of take on it, or what's your take? You know, I think people need
00:25:32.600to realize it's not that you know for example bishop schneider he's not being disobedient he's
00:25:38.940actually being obedient to the holy magisterium and to sacred tradition um he's being obedient
00:25:46.440to the will of god because god does not want the greatest prayer this side of paradise and i cannot
00:25:53.400stress that enough it is the greatest prayer this side of paradise he does not want that to be
00:25:58.040suppressed it's not the will of god for you know monasteries to be suppressed houses of prayer
00:26:04.700houses where nuns are completely devoted to the love and worship of god he does not want that to
00:26:11.580be suppressed and this kind of goes into another personal thing for us carmelites when it comes to
00:26:17.280our vows we have vows that make us duty bound to follow the the revel the teachings that teresa
00:26:27.240of Avila laid down for us like I cannot disobey Teresa of Avila because of my vow but if someone
00:26:35.880is asking me to disobey Teresa of Avila like in a sense it's like I have to be obedient to
00:26:44.380Carmel and I have to disobey this modernism and that's you know where all of the the confusion
00:26:51.300And then, you know, as Akita said, bishop against bishop, cardinal against cardinal, the good will be marginalized. So this is what we're seeing today. And this is actually, I would like to say the white martyrdom of our day.
00:27:06.400You know, we don't I hear a lot of times priests are giving sermons on, oh, it was worse years ago.
00:27:15.080I mean, you know, centuries ago when we had, you know, martyrs, you know, heads getting chopped off and and, you know, dying at the stake.
00:27:22.700But no, today it is harder to be a good practicing Catholic today than it ever was before.
00:27:29.380That is the white martyrdom of our day, because we know the good traditional things that we are supposed to do for the greater glory of God.
00:27:39.060And they are being taken away from us and they are being suppressed.
00:27:44.060And so we're not able to worship God as he deserved to be worshipped.
00:27:48.940And so in this white martyrdom of today, we have to just keep persevering.
00:27:54.580We have to be true to, we have to be obedient to God first and not trying to, you know, get into all these technicalities of like modernism, like being obedient to the relativism of today.
00:30:42.700And so it's such like a double standard or a, I don't even know what to call it.
00:30:48.920It's just upsetting and confusing that, you know, they are going to go against God and make it like this, you know, the good is now bad and the bad is now good.
00:31:02.340and you know tradition is evil but sodomy gets a parade and you know whatever else they're doing
00:31:10.320over there with that stuff but this is why we're here everyone like you are not alone out there in
00:31:15.060the world we are praying for y'all you know that's all we can do but that is everything that can be
00:31:21.120done you know and just keep praying especially and you know this is something we have to shout
00:31:27.600from the rooftops pray that the pope gets together in union with all the bishops and just
00:31:33.720consecrates russia to the immaculate heart of mary and then all will be well you know just
00:31:39.640keep praying for that if that's the only thing that you can pray for if you just so disheartened
00:31:44.560with your bishops that you don't want to pray for them god forbid pray that they get the
00:31:49.940consecration of russia going you know why are bishops wasting their time with you know all of
00:31:55.880this nonsense especially the queer nonsense all of this you know modernistic synodal way i don't
00:32:02.580even know what that means why not just you know go talk to pope leo about getting russia consecrated
00:32:09.920all of you together the same dot and same time same day takes 10 little words to say what for
00:32:17.900you convinces you there's so many people who said hey that was already done in 1984 john
00:32:23.360Paul II did it already. If you didn't think that was good enough, Francis just did it.
00:32:27.920Because Our Lady made it very clear that when the consecration of Russia is accomplished exactly
00:32:35.800the way she said, have the Pope in union with all the bishops of the world, consecrate Russia
00:32:42.480and only Russia, not humanity, to her Immaculate Heart, Russia will be converted. And from that
00:32:50.340conversion just as the errors of russia spread throughout the world the conversion of russia
00:32:55.700the graces that came from that conversion will spread throughout the world and the last time i
00:33:00.640checked russia was not ever converted so that is the ultimate sign our lady gave it to us right
00:33:07.140there in black and white no if ands or buts if russia's not converted do it again you did
00:33:14.260something wrong you didn't get everybody together you said humanity when you should have said russia
00:33:19.360you know stop with all the fluff and just say 10 words i consecrate russia to the immaculate heart
00:33:25.920of mary amen all together all at the same time so that is the the big evidence right there and
00:33:33.400our lady does not lie and everything every all of her different apparitions and visions you know
00:33:39.280she promised you know on october 13th there'd be a great miracle there sure was a great miracle
00:33:45.780that day she does not lie so if she says you know russia will be converted if this is done
00:33:52.240and russia has not yet been converted something's wrong on our part not on her part we need to do
00:33:59.460that again you need to do it as over again as you need to until you get it right and i'm here for it
00:34:05.140you know i'm praying for this in our community this is like the biggest most important intention
00:34:09.860that we have. We want to be here to see the triumph. We want this triumph to come as same
00:34:15.680as possible. So our community is heavily praying for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart. Amen,
00:34:21.700which is indeed the answer to all of what we're suffering right now. It will give us peace,
00:34:26.480peace in the world, peace in the womb, and most importantly, peace in the church.
00:34:31.220Sister Loretta Maria, thank you so much for joining us. May God bless you.
