00:00:00.080 A flag is a sign of conquest.
00:00:02.320 When you see we landed on the moon, we plant the flag because we are, it's a sign of conquest.
00:00:08.320 When we go to Iwo Jima and we win that war, we plant our flag because we won.
00:00:12.360 When you see a pride flag on a church, that church has been conquered. 1.00
00:00:16.320 It is no longer serving Christ the King.
00:00:18.240 All are welcome but Jesus Christ.
00:00:20.280 Hey my friends, we are still here at the Coalition for Canceled Priest Conference and they're

00:00:58.060 Henry Weston Show.

00:02:36.820 I look forward to seeing you there.
00:02:38.580 God bless you.
00:02:41.720 Anthony Abate, so good to be with you.
00:02:43.360 You too, John Henry.
00:02:45.100 So let's begin as we always do, with the sign of the cross.
00:02:47.660 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
00:02:51.680 Amen.
00:02:52.180 Amen.
00:02:53.120 So, Anthony, perhaps there's some of our viewers who don't know about you yet.
00:02:58.680 Who are you, and what do you do?
00:03:00.080 I have to, before anything, as you were giving that intro, I actually heard the music in my
00:03:05.520 head.
00:03:06.380 I heard the dun-dun-dun-dun.
00:03:07.940 But, so, I started a YouTube channel right around the time of the mandate, right?
00:03:16.800 We're on just your channel now, right?
00:03:18.400 Yeah.
00:03:18.680 Okay.
00:03:18.980 So, the vaccine mandate came out, and I felt like I was facing something apocalyptic.
00:03:26.420 It felt almost like a type and foreshadow of the mark of the beast.
00:03:29.660 I was being told if I did not get this mark, I would lose my ability to buy and sell.
00:03:34.920 I mean, I knew it wasn't the actual mark, but it felt that way.
00:03:38.380 So, I started thinking a little deeper about the Christian story.
00:03:42.760 So, my first video was just about standing up to the mandate.
00:03:46.320 But, I really started thinking deeper about the Christian story and saying, where are we
00:03:52.620 in that story?
00:03:54.460 So, I named the channel Avoiding Babylon because there's actually a story in Daniel 2 of Nebuchadnezzar,
00:04:02.660 where Nebuchadnezzar is the king of kings of Babylon.
00:04:05.860 And, he unites Jews and Gentiles through force and tyranny. 0.96
00:04:11.420 And, there's a prophecy of a head of gold, a chest of silver, the stomach of bronze, and
00:04:18.040 the legs of iron and clay.
00:04:20.740 This is the backdrop that Paul has in Ephesians when Paul talks about the body of Christ.
00:04:26.360 It's a photographic negative of this image that Nebuchadnezzar's dream has.
00:04:32.880 So, the channel is basically just a way to avoid this system of force and tyranny that
00:04:40.360 in the apocalypse says, is now, or it was, it is now, is not now, and will return in the
00:04:47.120 end.
00:04:47.360 Because, there will be a system of control that existed, just like during the time of
00:04:52.460 Daniel, where something will try to unite us through force and tyranny again.
00:04:58.120 So, the idea of the channel name was just, we have to avoid this system of control.
00:05:02.200 Yeah.
00:05:03.480 Incredible.
00:05:04.160 Now, you talked about something that is really fascinating.
00:05:08.100 And, I've often said that the, you know, this new woke culture really is a religion, because
00:05:12.280 it feels like a religion.
00:05:13.500 But, you've actually broken that down in an incredible way.
00:05:16.720 Tell us about that.
00:05:17.700 Okay.
00:05:18.020 So, it kind of dawned on me how you, how every single culture that has ever existed has a creation
00:05:27.820 myth.
00:05:28.200 So, when I start seeing evolution as a creation myth, it really just, everything else plays
00:05:35.020 out in, so, evolution as a creation myth, climate change as an apocalypse.
00:05:41.460 They have holy days of obligation, which is basically pride month, which we're in right 1.00
00:05:45.720 now.
00:05:45.940 They have excommunication, right?
00:05:47.980 So, that would be cancel culture.
00:05:50.340 They have original sin, racism, or homophobia.
00:05:54.320 They have, it's, the whole thing is set up as a religion, where even when you saw Anthony
00:06:01.380 Bass recently, he spoke out against the Bud Light mandate.
00:06:04.940 Oh, he spoke up in favor of the Bud Light mandate.
00:06:07.880 The next day, he was flagellating himself in public.
00:06:10.500 I mean, these are, these are all things that you see with the marks of religion, and it
00:06:16.360 just all seems to be setting up where if you, if you see the, the rainbow as an inverse
00:06:23.280 of the cross.
00:06:23.940 So, when, when Jesus says, when I am lifted up, I will draw all men into me, like, there's 0.87
00:06:29.000 never been a more true prophecy than that.
00:06:31.280 Really, like, when Jesus is lifted up, all nations are drawn into him.
00:06:35.960 So, when the Vikings, when the Huns, when the barbarians come, they come to rape and pillage, 0.99
00:06:40.540 and what happens is they get baptized instead. 0.55
00:06:44.220 The rainbow is basically an inverse of the cross, where it's drawing all men to Satan.
00:06:50.060 So, we know if you see a church with a rainbow flag, that church no longer has Christ as king.
00:06:55.580 It's a church to the dark lord at that point.
00:06:58.920 So, what's scaring me is seeing all the things playing out in our church right now, where they're
00:07:05.160 flirting with the idea of incorporating this flag into the Catholic faith.
00:07:09.920 And if I see the flag incorporated into the faith, to me, that's no longer the Catholic
00:07:15.440 faith.
00:07:15.800 They no longer believe in Jesus.
00:07:17.640 So, when you see a sign that says, all are welcome with a rainbow flag, all are welcome
00:07:21.880 except Jesus Christ, the king of kings.
00:07:24.940 It's, it's unbelievable.
00:07:25.980 It's, it's very much treated like a religion, also in that they don't brook any kind of disobedience
00:07:36.160 from the religion.
00:07:37.040 Their excommunication is, is very much there, even for the, the faithful.
00:07:43.100 Um, you know, the author of the Harry Potter series, she's woke as anything, except she
00:07:51.640 dared to say that women should be women and men with, but she's still pro-homosexual all 0.92
00:07:59.420 the way.
00:08:00.220 But, okay.
00:08:01.060 So, if you understand what's going on with the trans movement, if you look back to ancient
00:08:07.620 cults before the resurrection, there's a cult called, uh, the cult of Artemis Ephesia.
00:08:12.940 Now, the, the priests of Artemis Ephesia were men who would castrate themselves and wear
00:08:18.720 women's clothing and people would take their children to see these priests. 0.80
00:08:22.280 This is drag queen story hour.
00:08:24.140 I mean, if you really look and understand what's going on, these ancient cults are just starting
00:08:28.340 to come back on the rise.
00:08:30.000 So, when you see JK Rowling speak out and say something true, she spoke heresy because the
00:08:36.880 LGBTQ is the new one true faith.
00:08:39.740 And when you speak heresy against the one true faith, you get, I mean, it starts with 0.77
00:08:44.520 excommunication, but it could also be burned at the stake.
00:08:47.600 So, when you see a guy, I mean, even look at what happened with the LA Dodgers.
00:08:52.840 When you see the LA Dodgers, they invite these sisters of perpetual and, I mean, there's nothing 0.96
00:08:58.500 more blasphemous that you could imagine.
00:09:00.480 These are men dressing up as nuns with demonic makeup on.
00:09:04.520 And they invite them, Catholics push back, so they disinvite them.
00:09:08.800 But what happens?
00:09:09.920 The Dodgers get more afraid of the other side than they are of us because we may protest,
00:09:15.060 but we're not violent.
00:09:16.680 And what happens is, if you really understand what happens with Christianity, when, after
00:09:25.520 the resurrection, when Paul starts talking about the Catholic sexual ethic, this is what
00:09:31.020 actually subdues the earth.
00:09:33.120 So, the idea of one man and one woman together for life is an alien concept to the ancient
00:09:40.180 world.
00:09:41.140 So, if you look back to Roman society where you have that cult that I was just speaking
00:09:45.320 about, Artemis Ephesia, you also have just the typical Roman citizen who has slaves. 0.99
00:09:49.980 You have the same word for a woman's mouth, her vagina, and her anus. 1.00
00:09:55.880 The word is the same word that is used for urinal. 0.98
00:09:59.320 Men treated women as toilets in the ancient world. 0.86
00:10:02.760 Okay?
00:10:02.920 They were just, if, what Christ does, and what Paul does specifically, is calls men and puts
00:10:11.580 an obligation on the male citizen to treat every woman with the dignity of the church.
00:10:19.220 Like, so, for men, it's, you have to treat your wives as Christ does the church and lay 0.89
00:10:25.280 down your life.
00:10:25.940 So, a lot of people today, especially, they try to say, wives, be subject to your husbands.
00:10:31.960 But in the ancient world, this is common sense.
00:10:34.800 Women were always subject to their husbands. 1.00
00:10:36.540 But the greater call that's shocking is that husbands, treat your wives as Christ does
00:10:42.100 the church.
00:10:42.920 This is a revolutionary teaching that actually is what subdues the earth.
00:10:48.860 So, as this goes out, men start to subdue their passions, and it frees them up to actually
00:10:54.960 contemplate God.
00:10:56.520 And this is what changes the face of the earth.
00:10:59.240 So, when Muslims see the Christian teaching of one man, one woman for life, they laugh at
00:11:05.260 us.
00:11:06.200 That's preposterous to them, right?
00:11:07.900 Like, they have multiple, they have more than one wife, all of them.
00:11:12.320 So, this is why Satan attacks marriage.
00:11:15.900 It's why Sister Lucia said the final battle will be over marriage and the family. 0.54
00:11:20.040 And you're starting to see a high priest class rise up again, and that's why J.K.
00:11:24.840 Rowling spoke out against that, and she's getting all this pushback.
00:11:28.040 So, there is a concept, though, nowadays, it's been there since the sexual revolution, very
00:11:36.520 much against wives submitting to their husbands.
00:11:39.620 In fact, most of the church leadership has also never goes down that road.
00:11:46.920 It's one of the things that almost is never said or never heard.
00:11:50.960 As a more traditional Catholic, what's your take on that question, and what's, you know,
00:11:58.160 where do you think that comes from?
00:12:00.680 I think something significant happens when Paul VI lays down his papal tiara, almost like
00:12:08.080 a surrendering to this spirit.
00:12:12.340 When you see, first of all, even the idea of feminism only is able to exist because Christianity 1.00
00:12:19.680 exists, right?
00:12:20.740 Like, so, as I was just saying about the ancient world, women were considered subhuman. 0.99
00:12:27.720 But what happens when Christianity comes in is, especially when we meditate upon Our Lady 0.99
00:12:34.180 as being the crown of creation, this is what spawns the chivalry movement, where we raise
00:12:39.000 women to the same dignity as men.
00:12:40.960 So now, women are only able to start talking the way they are about having equal rights and 1.00
00:12:50.160 things because they are in a Christian environment.
00:12:53.120 So this wouldn't even exist without Christianity, where it's a twisting of the Christian teaching 0.82
00:13:00.140 at that point.
00:13:01.360 So everyone has this Christian impulse for empathy.
00:13:05.600 And it's a good impulse, right?
00:13:06.980 So when you even see the Black Lives Matter movement, the idea is they're playing on our 0.95
00:13:11.600 human urge towards empathy to care for the person who's downtrodden.
00:13:18.020 That's a very Christian impulse.
00:13:19.360 This doesn't exist in any other culture.
00:13:21.800 So when you start seeing these people saying things like, you have to care for the poor,
00:13:27.840 you have to care for the downtrodden, and even elevate women to this level, this is a
00:13:33.360 twisting of the Christian teaching.
00:13:35.880 So if any time we try to subvert Christ's teaching and not do things his way, things
00:13:42.040 go haywire.
00:13:43.320 And that's really just all we're seeing right now, right?
00:13:45.640 So it's, for feminism especially, is a twisting of the Christian teaching. 1.00
00:13:53.100 We know that men and women have equal dignity, but we have different roles.
00:13:56.740 And when you try to subvert those roles, problems always arise.
00:13:59.840 When I was in seminary, I was reading a book by Henry Nowen.
00:14:08.320 He talked about a nuclear man, you know, and people who grew up in the 1980s were kind of
00:14:13.760 formed by that immediate and constant threat of nuclear annihilation.
00:14:20.800 My generation has grown up, you know, under the specter of priestly sexual abuse.
00:14:26.940 What say you, Mr. Foreperson, is the defendant guilty or not guilty?
00:14:31.500 I think that for many of us, that has also been all-encompassing.
00:14:36.100 You know, I mean, I entered the seminary in January of 2004, and it's basically been there
00:14:41.960 for me from the beginning.
00:14:43.400 So, it's very interesting.
00:15:02.640 What do you do?
00:15:03.500 What's your background?
00:15:04.220 Because you've got a wealth of knowledge on the faith, on philosophy, on theology, on history.
00:15:11.500 What's your background?
00:15:12.700 What do you do?
00:15:13.720 Where did this come from?
00:15:15.980 I'm a high school dropout.
00:15:18.140 I'm a construction worker. 0.95
00:15:19.620 And I just, I think that God, I think that God really, he makes fools of the wise, right? 0.70
00:15:29.020 Like, it's not, you don't need to have a PhD.
00:15:31.480 You don't need to, I mean, just to really understand the Christian story is something
00:15:35.420 that anybody can grasp.
00:15:37.160 It's not something that he, like, he didn't save that for the wise of this world.
00:15:41.600 So, really just understanding that things that happened in the Old Testament prefigure
00:15:48.100 the new.
00:15:49.300 And even the things that we're seeing today, I really see, I really see the things going
00:15:56.120 on in the hierarchy as a fulfillment of the first coming of Christ.
00:16:01.620 So, if you look to the first century, you see that the hierarchy colludes with Rome, and
00:16:07.380 they crucify the Christ.
00:16:08.960 I mean, that's what happens.
00:16:10.220 So, a proper typological fulfillment would be the modern hierarchy colluding with the
00:16:15.820 new Rome to crucify the church.
00:16:17.780 And we know that the church will follow our Lord in his passion, death, and resurrection.
00:16:22.800 I don't see any other way that it would be fulfilled other than what we're actually witnessing
00:16:27.300 with the hierarchy right now.
00:16:29.320 It's amazing.
00:16:30.320 That's a big mouthful.
00:16:32.080 Let's unpack that a little bit, because, first of all, what you said at the end there about
00:16:35.860 we know that the church will follow our Lord into his passion.
00:16:40.300 So, in the Catechism, if you read it, I can't tell you the right number, but 675 in the Catechism
00:16:44.880 talks exactly about that.
00:16:46.600 It basically says exactly that.
00:16:48.280 The church, the mystical body of Christ, will follow her head, the Lord, into his passion
00:16:53.680 and cross before his resurrection.
00:16:56.720 So, that's coming.
00:16:57.720 That's official church teaching.
00:16:59.600 There's no doubt about it.
00:17:01.720 This addition of it will mirror what happened at the beginning, where the church at the
00:17:08.880 time, the Jewish church at the time, the one official church at the time, really betrayed
00:17:15.200 God in the Messiah that he sent and colluded with Rome at the time. 0.90
00:17:21.420 That means the powers that were, not the Rome of the church, but the governmental or world
00:17:27.420 governmental power, if you will, it's being mirrored exactly now with the hierarchy of
00:17:33.880 the day, which is the church, even in the Pope and the cardinals and bishops, colluding
00:17:40.120 with, as they did, especially during this whole lockdown, COVID insanity, with the World
00:17:47.080 Economic Forum, the government, the world government, if you will, in this sort of insane
00:17:53.560 plan, which was so bizarre, because it went against the faith in so many ways.
00:18:00.280 Yes, the jab was abortion tainted, but it also went against the freedom that the church
00:18:06.580 affords to her children in terms of not having to take an abortion tainted jab. 1.00
00:18:12.740 Even if they were legit, which I don't believe they were, even if they were legit in saying
00:18:18.160 that it's remote material cooperation, even if that were the case, still you couldn't force
00:18:24.140 Catholics to take it. 0.98
00:18:25.900 And yet, in the very Vatican, they forced them to take it.
00:18:28.920 In fact, the Vatican, who's supposed to believe in healing, the power of healing, lords, which
00:18:35.580 was for healing, shut down lords.
00:18:37.480 It made no sense.
00:18:39.540 Abby Johnson spoke about that this morning, right?
00:18:41.760 So, like, Abby Johnson spoke this morning.
00:18:44.620 First of all, she was amazing.
00:18:46.600 I was expecting a typical talk from Abby Johnson this morning on abortion, and she really got
00:18:52.080 into this whole understanding of the mandate and how that comes down to us.
00:18:56.440 And she literally was quoting documents from the church, and she got pushback from the church.
00:19:02.640 It's such a strange thing that's going on right now.
00:19:04.960 Like, you have to really think about what darkness has come over the ministers of the
00:19:10.980 Most High God.
00:19:12.340 This is not normal.
00:19:14.560 Like, think about what happened with the Dodgers, where these, they mock our Lord.
00:19:20.160 And what do the L.A. bishops do?
00:19:22.040 They say, oh, let's not do anything.
00:19:23.740 Let's dialogue.
00:19:25.140 What are you talking about?
00:19:26.280 Like, we are talking about the most blasphemous thing you could imagine.
00:19:29.740 I can't think of anything more offensive as a Catholic than what we saw at that stadium, 1.00
00:19:35.220 and the bishops do nothing.
00:19:37.020 To think that this is just simple cowardice, I mean, you have to be naive at that point.
00:19:40.920 There is a darkness that has descended.
00:19:43.300 Now, I am in New York.
00:19:45.380 Cardinal Dolan, there was an exhibit in a New York church called God is Trans, and they
00:19:52.140 had the most disgusting artwork up.
00:19:55.180 Dolan goes in, and what does he say?
00:19:57.540 Oh, just take the sign down. 0.97
00:19:58.800 You can leave the artwork up.
00:19:59.920 This is not normal.
00:20:02.020 I mean, you can't, you couldn't even imagine this 10 years ago, right?
00:20:04.720 10 years ago, before Pope Francis, you knew these things were lying beneath the surface.
00:20:10.260 They were.
00:20:11.140 But at least you still, every once in a while, a bishop would come out and say, the National
00:20:16.560 Catholic Reporter can't use the name Catholic.
00:20:18.420 You would see, New Way's ministry wasn't allowed to preach at the typical parish.
00:20:22.380 You would have priests that spoke for women's ordination would get, lose their faculties, 1.00
00:20:27.820 things like that.
00:20:28.440 But that's not what's going on anymore.
00:20:30.740 Now we have, we have James Martin as the poster boy for this pontificate.
00:20:36.100 There's something so absurd going on where Francis sends a letter of endorsement during 0.73
00:20:42.700 Pride Month to a known peddler of homosexuality. 0.86
00:20:47.100 It's, it's, there's something so dark and mystical going on right now that, I mean, people really
00:20:52.600 need to open their eyes to it.
00:20:54.200 And if you see what happens in the first century, you see that the hierarchy colludes with Rome
00:21:00.360 to crucify the Messiah.
00:21:01.700 Now that, that first century, you have the original Christians are Jews. 0.99
00:21:06.960 They're in the temple worshiping with other Jews.
00:21:10.340 What happens is there's a schism.
00:21:13.360 There's an actual schism where those, where God calls them out.
00:21:17.060 So if you're reading Apocalypse 18.4, it actually says, come out of her, my people, so you do
00:21:22.060 not partake of her sins and her blasphemies.
00:21:24.540 That's not an exact quote, but it's basically the, the, the gist of what Apocalypse 18.4 says.
00:21:29.680 And what happens is God calls his people out of the heretical Sanhedrin.
00:21:34.900 And that's when the Christian church starts.
00:21:36.640 So there's not one Christian dies when the temple is destroyed in 70 AD, right?
00:21:43.780 So God says, when you see the, the, the abomination of desolation run for the hills.
00:21:48.700 So not one Christian dies because they bring this idol into the temple and around 70 AD.
00:21:53.660 And that's when the temple comes down.
00:21:55.380 I really think that the Pachamama incident was kind of a prefigurement to something that's
00:22:00.400 going to come.
00:22:00.840 And we have the synod and synodality coming up and I don't know what will happen, but
00:22:05.700 I know this.
00:22:06.900 If you have a church that has a pride flag, that church is no longer a church that has 1.00
00:22:11.280 Christ as King.
00:22:12.220 That is a church that has been conquered.
00:22:13.960 A flag is a sign of conquest.
00:22:16.060 When you see, we landed on the moon, we plant the flag because we are, it's a sign of conquest.
00:22:22.080 When we go to Iwo Jima and we win that war, we plant our flag because we won.
00:22:25.760 When you see a pride flag on a church, that church has been conquered. 1.00
00:22:29.940 It is no longer serving Christ the King.
00:22:31.860 All are welcome, but Jesus Christ.
00:22:34.500 And that church is literally a church to the dark Lord.
00:22:38.420 So if we see anything like that happen in the synod and synodality, that is what is a terrifying
00:22:45.180 thought to me.
00:22:45.840 Because these things are so crazy.
00:22:49.220 There are some people that go too far.
00:22:51.800 Like we still know God is present with his church.
00:22:54.360 We still have Eucharistic miracles.
00:22:56.080 We just saw an incorruptible saint.
00:22:57.780 So this isn't about the Novus Ordo or anything.
00:23:00.300 Like we know God is still present with his church.
00:23:03.420 We're just waiting for God to separate the wheat from the chaff.
00:23:07.900 That's really how I see it.
00:23:09.660 Listen, I am a high school dropout.
00:23:11.520 So I don't want anybody basing anything on what I'm saying.
00:23:14.260 I just try to see things a little mystically.
00:23:16.440 And I try to see things, how they unfolded the first time and what we should.
00:23:20.480 And in a way, seeing it this way has actually brought me comfort.
00:23:23.540 Knowing that this isn't crazy.
00:23:26.120 I mean, we know that Judas is a very big part of the story.
00:23:29.280 Cain kills Abel.
00:23:31.160 Joseph gets sold into slavery by his brothers.
00:23:33.700 And Judas sells Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.
00:23:36.440 So the idea of God's ministers betraying him is kind of baked into the story.
00:23:42.460 It's not crazy to think this way, right?
00:23:44.860 Absolutely not.
00:23:45.680 And God is still in charge of his church.
00:23:48.160 We have nothing to worry about in a way.
00:23:49.760 We see it.
00:23:50.340 We're concerned, obviously.
00:23:51.540 We pray for the conversion of the Pope Francis and all of these many ministers.
00:23:55.760 And we know, we pray for them.
00:23:57.280 We hope for their conversion here because we know the Millstone Award is there.
00:24:00.740 You know, God, our Lord says himself, it'd be better for them that a Millstone be tied 1.00
00:24:05.200 about their necks, be thrown into the sea rather than confuse the little ones. 0.65
00:24:08.640 And they are confusing the little ones.
00:24:09.940 You're a dad.
00:24:10.820 I'm a dad.
00:24:11.700 My kids have been confused by Pope Francis.
00:24:14.900 Yours as well.
00:24:15.760 So you and I had the conversation before, right?
00:24:18.000 So we were talking and just saying, like, what are the things that have really struck us?
00:24:23.500 And you said one of those things is when Pope Francis actually said that he was comparing
00:24:28.700 these unions that were just, you know, out of wedlock unions and saying that they had
00:24:35.500 the grace of marriage.
00:24:36.560 I mean, these things are very hard to grasp.
00:24:40.300 We're all trying to make sense of things right now.
00:24:44.600 I know some people go the Sedeve Contest route.
00:24:48.020 Some people go east.
00:24:49.200 I can't leave.
00:24:50.820 I know that we have the promise of Christ that says, upon this rock, I will build my church
00:24:57.200 and the gates of hell will not prevail.
00:24:58.900 Now, that doesn't mean it won't appear as though they prevail because things do appear
00:25:03.120 as though they prevail.
00:25:04.000 But no, I know that God still is present in his church.
00:25:07.300 And I know that he still loves us.
00:25:09.440 And in some way, I really do find comfort in seeing things in this way.
00:25:14.820 It's just with my children, I've tried to really show them how God does always fulfill
00:25:22.300 his promises.
00:25:23.840 And I try to keep them away from some of the drunk, because a lot of people do obsess on
00:25:29.840 the things in Rome, right?
00:25:30.920 Like, and that's a danger for us, especially because we're in this business.
00:25:34.280 So it's one thing to know what's going on.
00:25:36.940 It's another thing to be checking every two seconds what's happening in Rome, what's
00:25:41.160 happening in Rome.
00:25:42.140 So for guys like us, it's dangerous, especially because this is kind of our job.
00:25:47.180 So I would say for the typical person, know what's going on, but then also just trust God.
00:25:53.320 He knew what was happening from the foundation of the world.
00:25:56.580 He planned all of this.
00:25:57.800 We have nothing to really worry about.
00:26:00.020 But at the same time, I think the secular world doesn't come after us because we have
00:26:05.960 Francis.
00:26:07.000 And Francis is playing with these things, and that's why we don't catch much flack from
00:26:11.460 the secular world.
00:26:12.480 So a lot of people may be going crazy about Francis being in there, but also understand
00:26:16.320 we aren't getting persecution because of that.
00:26:18.540 Because if we do get a holy pope next, the persecution that will accompany him will be
00:26:25.640 harsher than anything anybody can understand.
00:26:28.840 Because when the devil comes back to a house swept clean, we know in Matthew's gospel, what
00:26:34.420 does it say?
00:26:35.240 The bound man is bound, and when the devil returns, he finds the house swept clean, and
00:26:39.040 he returns with seven more demons.
00:26:41.180 Things are going to get bad.
00:26:43.060 We're going to see persecution like we haven't seen since the early church.
00:26:46.740 So as crazy as things are right now, just accept that this is where God has us.
00:26:52.140 God chose us to be alive at this point in time, and just trust in his mercy.
00:26:57.820 Last week, we had the rally with Bishop Strickland at Dodger Stadium to confront the anti-Catholic,
00:27:07.280 anti-Christian, really anti-Christ display.
00:27:10.260 The Dodgers are an anti-Christian team.
00:27:12.440 They are a team that will be anti-Christian until they disavow, until they apologize for
00:27:17.980 the horror that they awarded.
00:27:20.920 It's unreal.
00:27:22.340 These guys are, I hesitate even to describe what they do, but they mock Christ. 0.99
00:27:29.840 They mock Christianity in the most vile and disgusting ways. 0.98
00:27:34.560 And yet, the Dodgers, Major League Ball, awards them an award.
00:27:39.240 So America is in a kind of an unbelievable place.
00:27:43.260 What you said about the flags, the surrender of the flags, and what that means in your parish,
00:27:49.340 it's also happening in small towns everywhere.
00:27:51.980 Small towns across the United States, across Canada.
00:27:55.120 It's happened already in Europe.
00:27:57.320 Small towns, out of the way, countrysides are being invaded by this same thing, planting the flags. 0.99
00:28:03.220 Libraries for little kids, story hours, drag queen story hours, moms bringing their little kids all over the place.
00:28:11.840 And the pride flags are being flown in these little towns in the township office.
00:28:17.540 So I had a, there's a group that sent me some information on a new movement they started.
00:28:24.860 They call it the Knights of John Paul II.
00:28:26.680 And very, very simple plan, and that's why I think it's so beautiful.
00:28:30.780 What they do is men get together, only men, Saturday mornings before Mass.
00:28:36.800 You know, if your Mass is, let's say, 10 o'clock, just for an example, Saturday morning Mass, 10 o'clock.
00:28:41.360 You get together with your men, join, you say a few prayers of exorcism, the ones for laity only. 0.99
00:28:47.880 And then you go out in twos, praying your rosary, holding your rosaries and praying out loud.
00:28:53.720 Not shouting, just normally praying your rosary, but just walking all over town in twos, in different areas, therefore covering your town.
00:29:01.020 Beautiful movement.
00:29:01.780 That's it.
00:29:02.100 You do that for an hour, then you get home and help your wife get the kids to church.
00:29:05.740 And, you know, very simple, easy thing to do, but it's about taking your town back for Jesus and Mary.
00:29:13.720 I just thought I'd get your take on it because I thought, what a beautiful, simple program.
00:29:16.820 Okay, so something like that is amazing.
00:29:19.040 Even this weekend.
00:29:20.860 I've had such an amazing experience.
00:29:23.380 So this is my first conference.
00:29:25.160 This is my first time publicly speaking.
00:29:27.580 So I was extremely nervous.
00:29:30.140 And I kind of, what we just talked about, that was kind of the thesis I laid out in my talk.
00:29:35.200 Meeting people face to face and having these encounters is so important, right?
00:29:40.000 So these men are getting together and they're praying the rosary two by two.
00:29:43.580 We're so caught up online.
00:29:45.900 We're all of us.
00:29:46.820 We're just so, whether it's Twitter or Instagram, whatever you're caught up on, these, it's not real life.
00:29:53.360 And to me, other Catholics in real life, and especially this weekend, I mean, I've been floored by you, John Henry.
00:30:01.980 Like I have, I told you earlier, just to see how your humility and how you came and hung out with everyone this weekend.
00:30:10.580 You didn't think you were anyone special.
00:30:12.280 You came and had real conversations with them.
00:30:14.740 We spent two hours just having a conversation out there last night.
00:30:17.780 Having these encounters with, like if you have a parish where you have other men, you guys need to form men's groups.
00:30:24.780 We need to have real Catholic connections because if your whole life is in the online world, it's not going to last.
00:30:32.120 You need real life friends.
00:30:33.840 You need real life connections.
00:30:35.280 You need to be having people to support your faith.
00:30:37.840 If you're having your faith all alone, it's a very lonely world, and you can lose your faith very easily.
00:30:43.820 It's so important to have real life encounters with people.
00:30:46.800 How old is old enough for your sons to join you in such a venture?
00:30:56.840 My son is 17 right now, and I found that as my kids get older, the main thing I had to realize was just taking them to mass and hoping they pick these things up isn't happening, right?
00:31:13.540 Like you have to have real conversations with your children, and ensuring that, especially my kids, when they see all these things going on, having one-on-one conversations with my kids has been the most important thing in the world.
00:31:26.320 So sitting, if you're a dad and you have daughters, sit your daughters down because there's a million things coming for their attention, trying to pull them away from Christ.
00:31:35.140 Sit your daughters down and remind them that you are a daughter of the Most High King.
00:31:41.640 You're a princess.
00:31:42.960 Talk to your sons and say, you see the insanity out there, right?
00:31:48.100 Like everything, when you lose your identity in God, you lose your identity totally.
00:31:53.320 It's why every conversation we have is about identity politics.
00:31:56.840 It's crazy, right?
00:31:58.000 Like you don't know you're a daughter of God anymore.
00:32:00.520 You don't even know what gender you are anymore.
00:32:02.200 You lose your identity totally.
00:32:03.700 In a way, it's easier to evangelize now than it's ever been because the world is so upside down.
00:32:12.760 We're at the Canceled Priest Conference.
00:32:14.960 So priests come here because they said something true and got canceled.
00:32:21.900 There's never been a more important time for you and I to be spiritual fathers because our priestly fathers are being canceled.
00:32:29.520 So like one of the main things that I've really come to reflect on in the past two years has been the importance of my role as husband and father.
00:32:40.080 It's something that's such a profound responsibility that God gives us as men.
00:32:46.400 You are not just a leader, protector, provider.
00:32:48.740 You are the priest of your home.
00:32:50.760 And it's such a profound role that God gave you.
00:32:53.960 Everything you do is a reflection of him.
00:32:56.300 Your children, when they see every action you make, they interpret that as a reflection of God, whether you want them to or not.
00:33:03.380 So for us as men especially, there's a lot of talk about wively submission and going against the feminist movement and things like that.
00:33:15.880 And that's all good.
00:33:16.840 And it is.
00:33:17.600 It's important.
00:33:18.180 But if you want to really have your wife follow your lead, being a good man is the way to do it.
00:33:24.940 Because a woman will naturally follow a man with integrity, a good man. 0.68
00:33:30.400 And treating your wife as your queen and lifting her up, that is just as important as your wife submitting to you as a man.
00:33:36.680 Hello, friends.

00:34:26.020 Anthony Abare, any final words for us?
00:34:29.900 Just hang tight, everyone.
00:34:31.840 Like, we're all Catholic.
00:34:32.920 We're still good.
00:34:33.760 We all love one another and really form communities.
00:34:36.640 I've had such an amazing experience this weekend with the men that I've met at this conference and even some of the women that I've met here.
00:34:43.060 They've been so – the reception I got from my talk, I was so nervous to give it, and the people have been so kind to me and just so much support.
00:34:52.640 I'm just so happy about all the relationships I've met while I've been here this week.
00:34:59.180 Anthony, an honor of speaking with you.
00:35:00.620 You too, John Henry.
00:35:01.500 You're amazing, too.
00:35:02.500 I really have had such a wonderful time with you this weekend.
00:35:05.460 Awesome.
00:35:05.960 Thank you so much.
00:35:06.800 Thank you.
00:35:07.660 God bless you, and God bless all of you.
00:35:10.940 And we'll see you next time.
00:35:11.720 Hi, everyone.
