00:00:00.000 I just called him by his first name, since we had already met.
00:00:02.880 I said, oh, Jeff.
00:00:04.180 And he turned around, and I held the rosary out for him, and I said, this is for you.
00:00:16.660 Christine Kengott, welcome to the program.
00:00:19.060 Thank you. Nice to be here.
00:00:21.300 Let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross.
00:00:23.840 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.
00:00:30.720 So, Christine, this is really fascinating.
00:00:33.400 As I said at the beginning, I think a lot of people, obviously everybody knows Jeff Bezos,
00:00:38.540 and one of the richest men on the planet, owner of not only Amazon, founder of Amazon,
00:00:44.900 but also, influentially, the Washington Post, and many other ventures.
00:00:51.240 So, start off, tell us a little bit about yourself,
00:00:54.660 and how in the world did you get to meet Jeff Bezos in the first place?
00:00:58.240 I did a trip around the world in 1988-89 by myself,
00:01:03.240 and there were a lot of precarious situations where I thought I was going to die,
00:01:08.380 and I prayed pretty intensely, and a lot of things transpired.
00:01:13.380 And so, I guess in essence, I'm not afraid to talk to anybody, anywhere, anytime.
00:01:19.480 And the trip kind of lent itself to that.
00:01:24.180 It was very conducive to meeting a lot of people for over a year.
00:01:27.600 And then, my daughter was living in L.A., and I met this priest whose father,
00:01:34.720 his ministry is to make rosaries, and he was looking for some place to give these rosaries.
00:01:40.000 I said, well, I love to travel, and I could disseminate those rosaries to people that I meet.
00:01:45.500 And so, the father gave me all those rosaries, and then the son, who's the priest, blessed them all.
00:01:53.380 So, anytime I would travel, I would take these blessed rosaries and give them to anybody,
00:01:58.020 a waitress, a pilot, a flight attendant, anybody I meet, homeless people.
00:02:03.140 Well, my daughter living in L.A., there's a lot of homeless people.
00:02:06.360 And that was my primary objective, was to disseminate the rosaries to them and pray with them
00:02:12.320 and hear who they needed prayers for, what they needed prayers for.
00:02:16.860 So, that was very, it seemed very necessary work and very rewarding.
00:02:23.160 Well, it was my daughter's birthday, so we were in a restaurant of her choice called Nobu out in Malibu.
00:02:29.720 And we're sitting there, and I look over, and I see Jeff Bezos standing with a group of friends.
00:02:36.060 They had already eaten, and they were saying their goodbyes.
00:02:39.100 So, my initial intent was to introduce my young daughter to him.
00:02:45.120 She was like 29 at the time, and in the business world.
00:02:49.500 So, I thought they may cross paths again, and this way they'd be on a first-name basis,
00:02:54.300 and it may be conducive to some business transactions in the future.
00:02:58.960 So, that was my first thing, was to introduce the two of them.
00:03:02.100 And I told him the business she was in, and he was very supportive and encouraging.
00:03:10.240 And I asked him if he had any advice for her, and he gave her some advice, you know, just to go for it, not to be afraid.
00:03:17.280 So, we said our goodbyes, and we went back to our table, and I saw my rosary sitting on the table.
00:03:22.420 So, I grabbed it, and I said to my daughter, do you want to give this to him, or should I?
00:03:28.240 And she said, go ahead, Mom.
00:03:31.300 So, I walked over, and I just called him by his first name, since we had already met.
00:03:36.700 I said, oh, Jeff.
00:03:38.020 And he turned around, and I held the rosary out for him, and I said, this is for you.
00:03:44.100 Took it, and he looked at it like I had given him a pot of gold or something.
00:03:48.240 And he said, oh, my gosh, this is for me?
00:03:51.400 I said, yes.
00:03:52.320 I pray for you every day.
00:03:54.280 He said, you pray for me every day?
00:03:57.120 I said, yes, I do.
00:03:58.740 He said, thank you so much, Christine.
00:04:01.380 I said, well, thank you for all you do, Jeff.
00:04:04.480 And he said, can I give you a hug?
00:04:06.960 I said, yes.
00:04:08.360 So, we embraced a, you know, really heartfelt hug.
00:04:12.580 And then I said, God bless you, Jeff.
00:04:15.600 And he said, God bless you too, Christine.
00:04:18.540 And I really do pray for him every day, John Henry.
00:04:21.760 I do the stations every day after Mass, because we're told we're supposed to meditate on the
00:04:27.720 passion of Jesus every day, and the sorrows of Our Lady every day.
00:04:32.100 So, I figured something is better than nothing.
00:04:34.820 So, I do it in a very expeditious manner.
00:04:37.560 I'm very quick.
00:04:38.360 I don't go through a standard book when I do the stations, but they all kind of inspire
00:04:46.400 me.
00:04:47.040 When I see Jesus being stripped, for example, it makes me think of the terrible atrocities
00:04:53.020 of the human trafficking and people being disrobed against their will.
00:04:57.880 When I come to Jesus being crucified, invariably, I kneel there because it's one of the most sacred
00:05:04.240 places we can be.
00:05:05.460 And I do pray for 12 million conversions as a result of my time meditating on Jesus' passion.
00:05:13.320 And I specifically name Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, Bill Gates, the Clintons, the Obamas, the
00:05:21.400 Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, Klaus Schwab, the Royal Family, Noah Harari, just all these people
00:05:30.060 that are really in positions of power that could really make a difference.
00:05:35.000 And if they had a conversion, it could really impact our world in a positive way.
00:05:41.480 So, I sincerely do pray for Jeff Bezos every day.
00:05:45.640 I think he could sense that.
00:05:48.140 Wow.
00:05:48.660 So, that's kind of my story.

00:07:28.840 I look forward to seeing you there.
00:07:30.860 God bless you.
00:07:33.520 Yeah.
00:07:34.440 Well, it's so unbelievable that, you know, here you, I mean, he's one of the most powerful
00:07:40.080 people on earth, one of the richest men in the world.
00:07:41.720 Did you ever think in your life you would bump into Jeff Bezos?
00:07:47.480 You know, because I am not shy, I travel around the world by myself.
00:07:54.880 I really have met a lot of famous people.
00:08:00.700 And to me, they're just people.
00:08:02.700 But all range of life.
00:08:04.320 I spend time with the homeless person on the street and every, every person in between on
00:08:10.300 that spectrum.
00:08:12.180 I met with Stephen Hawking.
00:08:16.120 My daughter and I kind of talked our way in there.
00:08:18.760 And my primary objective was to tell him about Father Rookie, who had the gift of healing.
00:08:24.380 And so I did talk to him about Divine Mercy Chaplet, because I thought if he could have
00:08:36.440 a major healing through the chaplet, he could really positively impact the world if he had
00:08:42.640 a conversion.
00:08:44.480 And I was, the secretary said, I'm going to let you in to talk to him.
00:08:49.000 I don't know why I never do this, but I'm going to let you in.
00:08:52.320 And she forbid me to talk to him about this priest with the gift of healing.
00:08:58.340 So now I had to carry the conversation with an astrophysicist, a topic I know nothing about,
00:09:04.940 and not talk about the very thing I'm there to talk about.
00:09:07.860 So I got back to the States, and I felt really guilty that I didn't expound more on the Divine
00:09:14.560 Mercy Chaplet with him.
00:09:15.980 So I went to confession, and the priest was so funny, you know, instead of just kind of,
00:09:20.680 you know, negating the impact that could have had, he took me very seriously.
00:09:25.180 He said, okay, Christine, now for your penance for not telling Stephen Hawking about the Divine
00:09:31.360 Mercy Chaplet more in depth, go say three Our Fathers and three Hail Mary, or whatever.
00:09:36.800 It was, I got a kick out of how that priest took my, you know, my feeling so, like I really
00:09:43.600 neglected to take that opportunity that I should have.
00:09:47.720 Wow.
00:09:48.440 Wow.
00:09:49.580 Okay.
00:09:50.620 So where does this come from?
00:09:53.140 Because you've got a very deep faith that's very lively.
00:09:57.660 How did you even get there?
00:09:59.200 Because it's a rare thing.
00:10:02.360 Oh, well, thank you.
00:10:03.940 Well, how much time do you have?
00:10:06.740 Enough.
00:10:07.280 You go for it.
00:10:08.160 You know what?
00:10:08.760 You know what?
00:10:09.200 I will have to say, I had great parents, but I think of specific things that my dad did.
00:10:15.360 You know, we think of the father in the family kind of being representative of God the Father.
00:10:21.540 And he did some things that were just incredible.
00:10:26.360 I remember a nun telling us that we really should live every day to the fullest because we could
00:10:32.760 die at any time.
00:10:34.000 Any one of us at any age, we don't know.
00:10:36.360 So I couldn't wait to trip up my dad and tell him, you know, say, Dad, what would you like
00:10:41.580 to do?
00:10:42.320 And have him say, oh, I'd like to travel to the far ends of the earth, or I'd like to
00:10:46.960 get my, you know, he had his pilot's license, but, you know, whatever he wanted to, whatever
00:10:52.660 he aspired to do.
00:10:53.980 And as a seven-year-old, I couldn't wait to say, oh, Dad, then you should do it because
00:10:59.280 you could die at any time.
00:11:01.380 Well, instead of getting an answer of something he aspired to do, and he and I were together
00:11:09.500 in the car, and we had just cut the grass at the funeral home that he owned in a small
00:11:15.220 town.
00:11:15.800 And I said, Dad, what would you like to be doing now if you could do anything at all?
00:11:20.640 And you know what he said?
00:11:21.500 What I'm doing right now?
00:11:24.860 And it just took me aback because what he was doing right then was he was with me doing
00:11:31.440 a mundane thing, riding in the car.
00:11:34.000 And I said, no, no, no, Dad, anything, anything you could do, he said, what I'm doing right
00:11:39.800 now.
00:11:40.940 You know, so I think back at moments like that.
00:11:43.180 There was another time when I was four, I had to run away from my mean babysitter, and
00:11:49.260 I ran to my dad's hardware store, and I put my arms around his neck, and I said, Dad, remember
00:11:55.400 you said I could come to the hardware store with you today?
00:11:58.620 And right at that moment, John Henry, he could have said, what are you talking about?
00:12:03.260 Get out of here, kid.
00:12:04.380 Go with the babysitter.
00:12:05.560 But instead, he looked in my eyes, and he said, yes, I do remember that.
00:12:10.880 And from then on, I went to my dad's hardware store every day.
00:12:15.640 So I got to know all the customers, and he also would fix the heaters and the furnaces
00:12:21.820 in the basement of people's homes, and he'd call me his little helper, and I'd hold the
00:12:26.640 flashlight.
00:12:27.840 Well, invariably, I'd make my way upstairs with the lady where the pound cake was and the
00:12:33.620 fresh fruit, and she'd feed me.
00:12:35.580 And so, you know, it all is kind of incremental steps of talking with people at a young age.
00:12:42.700 And then this trip around the world, of course, was a pivotal part.
00:12:47.740 Oh, and Pope John Paul II kissed me.
00:12:52.020 So maybe that impacted my life.
00:12:54.820 He kissed my forehead in 1980.
00:12:57.040 So I guess I'm a relic.
00:13:01.700 Indeed.
00:13:04.060 You must have been a baby at that point.
00:13:06.160 Did your parents hand you up?
00:13:07.540 Is that how it happened?
00:13:08.960 No, no, no, no.
00:13:10.060 I used to sell ads and win trips for a youth camp in Southern Illinois, a Catholic youth
00:13:15.740 camp.
00:13:16.320 And they would reward us with these trips, primarily to Rome and be with the Pope.
00:13:22.580 We had an audience with Pope Paul VI also, and we'd go to Israel and, you know, the Holy
00:13:28.540 Land.
00:13:28.940 They were always kind of geared around Catholicism.
00:13:31.620 But I was not very devout at that time.
00:13:34.740 It was kind of like putting the cart before the horse.
00:13:37.360 Like I went to all the places Jesus went, and I think that that enhanced my Catholicism.
00:13:44.640 I had a very lame catechism growing up.
00:13:47.640 I mean, I didn't even know what transubstantiation was, you know, until I was in Medjugorje.
00:13:53.120 So it's kind of just a culmination of experiences, I think, that brought me to where I am now.
00:14:03.920 Beautiful.
00:14:05.120 And your very special devotion to the rosary.
00:14:09.180 Yes.
00:14:09.340 How did that come about?
00:14:10.540 It was my 50th birthday, and my family and I were in Aspen skiing.
00:14:18.040 We were on a gondola that was all made of glass.
00:14:21.940 And I very sheepishly said to my family, I said, it's my birthday.
00:14:27.700 Could we pray a rosary?
00:14:29.180 And they said, sure, Mom.
00:14:32.520 Yeah.
00:14:33.480 Because I was very late at starting all this.
00:14:36.420 And I had been praying the rosary maybe five years or so at that point, but never brought
00:14:41.780 my family into it.
00:14:43.200 But I pulled the birthday trump card, and they said, yeah, we can pray the rosary.
00:14:47.400 Where do we start?
00:14:48.440 I said, well, there's four decades.
00:14:50.080 They said, well, let's start at the beginning.
00:14:52.160 So we're starting with the joyful.
00:14:54.360 And with that, our gondola abruptly stopped.
00:14:57.580 They had an emergency somewhere.
00:14:59.280 So it abruptly stopped, but we didn't feel it.
00:15:02.220 It was very, very peaceful.
00:15:05.260 We didn't feel, we just looked up in a glass roof, and the cable had become like a gigantic
00:15:12.480 ribbon extending like 150 feet up above our gondola.
00:15:16.620 We said, what is that?
00:15:18.040 What's going on?
00:15:19.540 And because we didn't feel the abrupt stop, we felt peace praying this rosary.
00:15:24.500 And with that, the cable went downward, and it shot our gondola straight up to where the
00:15:32.080 ribbon of cable had been above us.
00:15:34.080 So we exchanged places, and it was just surreal.
00:15:41.180 And later, I talked to a ski patrol about what transpired.
00:15:45.540 And he said he had never heard of something like that happening.
00:15:48.480 And he said that we're lucky that the gondola didn't come off of that cable the way it shot
00:15:53.860 up like a slingshot.
00:15:55.000 So that was really the first time I remember being so devoted to the rosary with my family.
00:16:02.060 Now we pray a family rosary every day, and they're receptive to it.
00:16:07.060 But we've had, you know, as a family, I've passed on the love of travel to them.
00:16:13.240 So consequently, we've had some very scary experiences together.
00:16:18.340 But we always go to prayer when we're so scared.
00:16:23.240 Like we had an incident down in the Amazon.
00:16:26.140 We had an incident in Japan.
00:16:28.680 And, you know, very scary, life-threatening kind of things.
00:16:31.880 And we pray, and miracles.
00:16:35.860 Miracles just happen all around us all the time.
00:16:38.180 So my children see the power of prayer.
00:16:40.980 So it's kind of been a gradual sequence of events that has led me here.
00:16:46.780 And now I love being the age that I am that, you know, now I can really talk to anybody I want.
00:16:54.280 Because it's not a threat to anybody.
00:16:56.680 You know, I can talk to young men, young boys.
00:17:00.740 And, you know, like my daughters can't do that because it's looked at, could be taken the wrong way.
00:17:05.480 I can talk to priests.
00:17:07.200 I love how, you know, the genius of the priesthood because, you know, I'm like a mother figure to them.
00:17:17.580 And so that's beautiful to have this friendship with so many priests that need that in their lives.
00:17:22.700 They need friends.
00:17:23.760 They need a female friend.
00:17:24.820 And so, anyway, life, it just gets more and more enjoyable.
00:17:28.440 And the beauty of prayer and mass and we just have a plethora of information to study.
00:17:35.500 We can't possibly learn it all in one lifetime.
00:17:38.440 When I was in seminary, I was reading a book by Henry Nouwen.
00:17:46.280 He talked about a nuclear man, you know, and people who grew up in the 1980s were kind of formed by that immediate and constant threat of nuclear annihilation.
00:17:56.900 And my generation has grown up, you know, under the specter of priestly sexual abuse.
00:18:04.920 What say you, Mr. Foreperson, is the defendant guilty or not guilty?
00:18:08.700 I think that for many of us, that has also been all-encompassing.
00:18:14.120 You know, I mean, I entered the seminary in January of 2004, and it's basically been there for me from the beginning.
00:18:21.380 Would you mind telling us one of those stories, one of the stories where, if you're able to, where it was kind of life-threatening?
00:18:46.320 Whichever one you remember the most or means the most to you.
00:18:51.920 With the family?
00:18:53.180 Okay.
00:18:53.680 There's two that stand up.
00:18:55.800 You know, and the other thing, I've had unbelievable, miraculous events happen to me.
00:19:03.820 And I'll just jump ahead to this one, because this one's just so amazing.
00:19:07.600 It was December 12, 1990, and I was in Mexico.
00:19:14.420 My brother-in-law traveled a lot, and he had a coupon for an airline that was going to expire.
00:19:20.660 He said, you want this, Christine?
00:19:22.020 I said, yes, I do.
00:19:23.640 And so I went as far as I could.
00:19:26.000 I went to Mexico, to Cancun and Cozumel.
00:19:29.840 So I was by myself.
00:19:31.700 And I heard all this commotion with, you know, December 12.
00:19:35.360 And in somebody's broken English and my limited Spanish, I said, what is going on?
00:19:44.020 And they said, it's our blessed mother's birthday.
00:19:46.960 I said, really?
00:19:48.400 I said, okay, God, if it's your mother's birthday, why don't you show me something?
00:19:52.760 Why are you always so nebulous?
00:19:54.480 Like, why can't you make this more concrete?
00:19:56.300 So I noticed the sky that day was just cloud cover, no blue sky at all, just major cloud cover.
00:20:05.380 And I closed my eyes to pray.
00:20:07.420 I had, like, you know, a list of quite a few people to pray for.
00:20:11.020 And so 20 or 30 minutes, I had my eyes closed in prayer.
00:20:16.660 And with that, I opened my eyes.
00:20:19.400 There was not a cloud in the sky, no clouds at all.
00:20:22.540 The sky was the most beautiful color of blue I have ever seen.
00:20:26.880 It was just gorgeous.
00:20:28.620 And right in front of me was a gigantic cross made out of white, fluffy, fluffy clouds like cotton balls, like just very, very deliberate.
00:20:39.700 And it was the size of about three football fields.
00:20:43.460 Gigantic, white, fluffy cross right in front of me.
00:20:46.040 And I just instinctively, I fell to my knees, threw my arms dramatically in the air and said, for the glory of God.
00:20:55.560 So, you know, just so many things like that have happened.
00:20:59.120 I can hardly even name them all.
00:21:01.680 But getting back to some of the scary times, my family and I, my three daughters, my husband and I were in the Amazon.
00:21:09.900 And we were supposed to see the giant anaconda and the, what's the fish?
00:21:19.440 What's the fish that eats people?
00:21:21.860 Piranha.
00:21:22.760 So these were all in the Amazon.
00:21:24.740 And the crocodiles.
00:21:26.680 And we were in a small boat and another family was on there and it started just raining, just incessant rain, just unbelievable amounts of rain and lightning.
00:21:38.840 It was lightning all around us.
00:21:41.100 Well, I was a lifeguard and I knew you were not supposed to be on water when it's lightning.
00:21:45.400 And the woman, the other family, the woman kept standing up and you were not supposed to stand up in a small craft or you could capsize.
00:21:56.440 So I knew it was a bad situation.
00:21:58.580 And the guide, I kept begging the guide, just take us back, take us back.
00:22:01.960 He said, no, no, you haven't seen the giant anaconda yet.
00:22:04.740 No, you haven't seen the crocodile.
00:22:06.320 We're like, we don't care.
00:22:07.160 We don't care.
00:22:07.900 Get us out of here.
00:22:09.020 Well, there was nothing to do but pray.
00:22:10.760 And we really just broke out all the stops as a family.
00:22:15.480 We just prayed intensely with that lightning crashing all around us.
00:22:20.780 It was so dangerous.
00:22:22.940 And with that, it got calm.
00:22:25.440 The storm dissipated.
00:22:26.960 The lightning stopped.
00:22:28.460 The rain stopped.
00:22:29.380 The waters calmed.
00:22:30.320 It was like biblical, you know.
00:22:32.100 So many things like that have happened that it just really reinforces the notion that prayer is powerful.
00:22:40.760 Wow.
00:22:41.860 Did the other family react or the driver?
00:22:46.180 Not really.
00:22:47.440 I don't know.
00:22:48.160 They didn't seem to really notice or, you know.
00:22:52.940 I don't know.
00:22:54.260 They didn't know.
00:22:55.840 Not really.
00:22:56.400 Beautiful.
00:22:56.520 Anyway, what an amazing thing.
00:22:59.280 What are your hopes for Jeff Bezos?
00:23:02.700 And, you know, do you ever get inspired to, you know, follow up on the lights that our Lord gives you to do certain things?
00:23:13.820 Do you ever have an answer or see?
00:23:16.660 I know often we don't.
00:23:18.520 But do you have an experience of, you know, you're called to go out and do something?
00:23:24.900 Oh, and I need to ask you, too.
00:23:28.180 On the table, you saw the rosary.
00:23:30.400 That was sort of what prompted you.
00:23:32.500 But how does that prompting work?
00:23:34.200 And how do you hear the Holy Spirit asking you to do something?
00:23:37.280 You know, John Henry, I kind of feel like it's like when we make a deposit in the bank and we have interest that we get later, I spend I try to spend an hour a day in adoration, if at all possible.
00:23:52.860 And so, you know, I don't have any like lightning claps hit me when I'm in adoration.
00:23:59.220 But I feel like it's an investment, like I'm praying now, but then later I'm inviting the Holy Spirit to come through me.
00:24:06.420 And I feel like confession is kind of like a Roto-Rooter getting the sludge out to allow the Holy Spirit to work through us.
00:24:12.400 So then we're able to say and do the right thing more often.
00:24:16.400 Right.
00:24:17.180 So when I'm in those moments, I can be spontaneous because how many times have we been to a restaurant?
00:24:23.960 We get a carry out.
00:24:25.240 We go see a homeless person.
00:24:29.260 We walk right behind.
00:24:30.300 We go, oh, my gosh, I should have given him that my carry out.
00:24:33.740 We don't think of it at the time.
00:24:35.340 I was tired of not being able to think spontaneously because it's just like a very quick moment that we're able to react in a situation.
00:24:46.240 And I'll tell you a real cute story.
00:24:48.080 There's so many amazing stories, but this is one of my favorites.
00:24:51.300 It's a priest was tired of not being able to be spontaneous.
00:24:55.920 And he said, you know what?
00:24:57.240 From now on, whatever comes on my heart, I'm going to just assume it's from the Holy Spirit.
00:25:03.820 So he was pumping gas and it came on his heart to do a cartwheel.
00:25:08.040 And he went by his, you know, his rule.
00:25:10.800 If it's not hurting somebody else and it's not against the Ten Commandments, he's going to do it.
00:25:15.540 So he did a cartwheel.
00:25:16.920 He goes in to pay for his gas.
00:25:18.920 The young girl in there is crying profusely.
00:25:21.860 He says, honey, honey, what's the matter?
00:25:24.560 She said, oh, father, I've been an atheist for 25 years and I saw your collar that you were a Catholic priest.
00:25:31.740 And I said, God, if you exist, make that priest do a cartwheel.
00:25:38.840 That's a true story.
00:25:41.360 True story.
00:25:42.260 Hello, friends.

00:26:11.380 We began in 1997 in September.

00:26:16.700 These one-ounce silver rounds are available from our partners at stjosephspartners.com, where you can fulfill all of your silver and gold needs in this perilous time.
00:26:26.260 May God bless you.
00:26:26.740 That's so insane.
00:26:31.140 There's many stories like that.
00:26:33.380 Yeah.
00:26:33.760 There are.
00:26:34.580 And you know, that's so powerful because it does speak.
00:26:37.560 We all get this.
00:26:38.800 We get this sometimes seemingly crazy idea, just do this.
00:26:46.220 But we often will dismiss it.
00:26:48.240 I will often dismiss it as, oh, that's just weird.
00:26:51.520 Was that me?
00:26:52.380 Was that somebody else?
00:26:53.060 But it's a great rule.
00:26:54.560 It's a great rule.
00:26:55.620 Well, if it's not sinful in any way, and it's not going to hurt anybody, why not do it?
00:27:02.960 Right.
00:27:03.780 That's just great.
00:27:05.100 And God writes, he writes straight with a crooked line.
00:27:07.060 I'm sure you've heard that.
00:27:08.460 And it's so true.
00:27:09.880 How many times we have our own ideas and something goes totally different.
00:27:14.080 And then we cross paths with somebody who needs our prayers or we need their prayers.
00:27:21.140 Or so it's really amazing how that works.
00:27:24.420 I wish I could tell you this amazing story.
00:27:27.200 I was asked to give a retreat for women at my church.
00:27:30.800 I'm part of the Women's Guild.
00:27:31.860 And I prayed.
00:27:33.540 I invited Jesus and the Blessed Mother to attend.
00:27:36.240 In fact, I said, just take over.
00:27:37.980 You know, you're much more competent than me.
00:27:40.020 Just run the whole thing.
00:27:42.240 So the woman who does the pictures for the newsletter said, Christine, I can't be there.
00:27:48.400 Can you take pictures?
00:27:51.260 I said, okay.
00:27:52.340 So I snapped pictures.
00:27:53.960 A few days later, I looked at the pictures.
00:27:56.120 Well, I wish I could show it.
00:27:57.680 I'll try and send it after this interview.
00:28:00.040 Please do.
00:28:00.380 But a picture showed up with, you know, the Divine Mercy Jesus with the red and white rays
00:28:06.340 coming out of his heart.
00:28:08.160 That showed up in a picture that I took.
00:28:12.040 I was just spellbound.
00:28:14.320 I couldn't believe it.
00:28:15.540 So I was sending it to everybody.
00:28:17.440 I was just amazed that that.
00:28:21.260 That showed up in a picture.
00:28:23.820 He really showed up after I prayed about it.
00:28:26.880 Well, finally, I ran into a woman who had attended that seminar, that retreat.
00:28:31.740 And I said, oh, Christina, look, Divine Mercy Jesus showed up.
00:28:36.140 Look at this picture.
00:28:37.420 She said, Christine, that's your fingernail.
00:28:42.140 Somehow I got my own fingernail in the picture.
00:28:46.180 I said, well, at least I had my nails painted red that day, you know.
00:28:51.260 So I'll send you the picture.
00:28:53.820 But, you know, God has a sense of humor, too.
00:28:56.120 But that has worked well because then I can just, in passing, talk to atheists or agnostics.
00:29:03.300 It's a funny story.
00:29:04.780 And I can say, you know about Divine Mercy Jesus?
00:29:07.320 And they're like, no, never heard of it.
00:29:09.080 I'm like, well, he's got rays coming out, meaning unlimited love and unlimited forgiveness
00:29:13.600 for all of us.
00:29:14.620 And I pass over that and I get to the punchline.
00:29:17.120 But it really is a powerful tool, you know.
00:29:20.560 So that's how God works, too, sometimes, you know, in a funny way.
00:29:24.840 And that story has allowed me to, I think, touch some hearts and introduce Divine Mercy
00:29:29.980 Jesus without it being so blatant.
00:29:35.660 Absolutely beautiful.
00:29:37.380 Christine, thank you so much for sharing everything with us.
00:29:39.860 Any final thoughts for us?
00:29:40.980 Well, what I'm doing now is learning about the gift of living in the Divine Will.
00:29:46.620 Have you heard of that?
00:29:48.580 I believe so, yeah.
00:29:50.220 Is it Louisa Picoretta?
00:29:51.900 Yes, Louisa Picoretta, yes.
00:29:54.480 And actually, I've been in it about 15 years.
00:29:57.740 And kind of an analogy, I used to think when we died and went, if we, you know, luckily
00:30:03.380 make it to heaven someday, that it's one and done.
00:30:07.300 You know, there's going to be unbelievable colors and pictures and smells and experiences,
00:30:14.560 but all in one day.
00:30:16.320 You get there and that's it.
00:30:18.280 And then recently, I read that it's exponentially better every single day.
00:30:24.640 So think of, you know, exponents, how, you know, what that means every single day for all
00:30:32.040 of eternity, that that's what you're experiencing.
00:30:34.360 It's just unlimited, and that's what the bit of information about this gift of living in
00:30:42.280 the Divine Will, you can never exhaust it all.
00:30:44.780 You can never learn it all.
00:30:45.820 It's just so exciting.
00:30:47.900 And that is one thing I told Stephen Hawking, the only bit of science or astrophysicist that
00:30:56.000 I could even think to say, and I love this, though, there are more stars in our galaxy
00:31:04.300 than grains of sand on our planet, and more galaxies in our universe than stars in our
00:31:10.360 galaxy.
00:31:11.280 So in essence, that's infinity, right?
00:31:14.420 For the human brain, that's infinity.
00:31:16.700 That's, you know, eternity.
00:31:17.860 And that's what heaven, I think, is going to be like, and also this gift of living in
00:31:23.280 the Divine Will.
00:31:24.400 So it's very exciting to have that gift, and of course, the gift of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
00:31:32.500 And we know one drop of Jesus' blood is more powerful to eradicate all the sins from the
00:31:38.860 beginning of time to the end of time, including murder.
00:31:41.160 So that gives me a lot of hope when I pray, you know, I just drop that one drop of blood
00:31:45.820 on Jeff Bezos, the precious blood of Jesus, Jesus for a complete conversion for him and
00:31:52.700 just all of our world leaders.
00:31:54.740 And it just gives us a lot of hope.
00:31:57.600 You know, Jesus is so loving and so forgiving, and he wins.
00:32:05.760 We know we're on the winning side.
00:32:07.540 And we have our Blessed Mother and all the wonderful things she does, just embracing
00:32:12.780 our children.
00:32:13.840 And we just keep praying, right?
00:32:15.740 Do our little bit, and they repay us a million-fold with our little efforts, right?
00:32:23.860 Indeed.
00:32:24.500 I think a lot of people, hopefully, who are watching this, are going to join you in praying
00:32:28.120 for Jeff Bezos.
00:32:29.520 And he showed openness.
00:32:32.980 He showed openness to, you know, the rosary and to your gift and to your praying for him.
00:32:38.360 So if you join in that, you never know.
00:32:40.760 God might work on his heart.
00:32:42.400 So that is beautiful.
00:32:44.360 And I'm going to send you that holy fingernail.
00:32:47.980 Please do, Christine.
00:32:49.860 God bless you, Christine, and thank you again.
00:32:52.280 Thank you.
00:32:52.720 Thank you for all you do.
00:32:54.200 Your team is awesome.
00:32:55.420 I love Father and Liz, and you're just really stellar in your work and what you do.
00:33:01.460 You make so much sense, and you work so hard.
00:33:04.240 So thank you, thank you, thank you.
00:33:06.860 Praise God.
00:33:07.440 Thank you.
00:33:07.940 God bless you.
00:33:09.280 And God bless all of you.
00:33:11.340 And we'll see you next time.
