We were required to take this vaccine, or you would be fired.
00:00:03.460
We're not just fighting for the 30 of us. We're fighting for everyone in America who wants
00:00:08.140
that freedom, that religious freedom, that medical freedom to decide what happens with your body
00:00:23.140
Hey everyone, I wanted to introduce you to a couple of heroes.
00:00:26.520
These are great American heroes. These men served their countries. They are veterans of the Air Force.
00:00:34.960
And they, after their service to the country, which by the way, went right through, you know,
00:00:41.020
through the hardest times, they worked for United as pilots. But then they got canceled.
00:00:48.060
They got canceled even though one of them had even worked in COVID, against the battle against COVID,
00:00:55.940
trying to figure out stuff for the military. And yet they were canceled anyway. They were canceled
00:01:03.320
by United Airlines. United, the same United that was given like $5 billion from the Biden administration
00:01:13.320
and was like the poster child for Biden when it came to canceling. They applied for religious exemptions
00:01:20.700
and United Airlines thought it fit for them to turn down religious exemptions. They believe in life
00:01:28.620
And they knew the COVID jabs were abortion tainted, but oh no, no, no, United takes it upon itself to be the arbiter of religion.
00:01:39.000
This is unbelievable. And so 30 brave souls from United have chosen to file a lawsuit.
00:01:46.260
And we need to support them in that lawsuit. You can do that at lifefunder.com slash wings
00:01:51.600
because they are fighting not only for themselves, but for all Americans, for freedom. Stay tuned to hear from
00:02:00.180
these two pilots for United Airlines and what they had to go through and what they're doing now
00:02:06.780
to fight back for all Americans in their lawsuit against United Airlines.
00:02:11.380
This is the John Henry Weston show. Stay tuned.
00:02:16.220
Hello, LifeSite friends. Aren't you sick of the cancel culture?
00:02:21.140
Aren't you sick of the overlords at YouTube deciding what you'll be able to see and what you won't?
00:02:27.880
Are you sick of them dictating morality and your use of pronouns?
00:02:32.700
Well, we have had enough. With rampant attacks and continuous censorship we face here at LifeSite News,
00:02:39.600
we've decided to bite the bullet. We are taking video into our own hands and we're playing on our
00:02:45.380
own terms rather than the whims of big tech. We have launched our own video platform. Now we have
00:02:51.120
the ability to showcase our important news and views without the risk of being banned and silenced.
00:02:57.680
Defenders of faith, life, family and freedom can now speak freely at LifeSite News without censorship
00:03:04.080
from anti-life, anti-family, anti-faith, anti-freedom folks who seem to run all the big tech companies.
00:03:11.540
This, of course, takes tons of hard work and also your support.
00:03:17.260
So we're in the midst of our quarterly spring fundraising campaign and we are in need of your
00:03:22.380
support, both prayerful and financial. These fundraising campaigns are vital to our survival
00:03:28.060
and the ability to broadcast the truth for free all around the world. So with the launch of our new
00:03:34.700
video platform, we will be incurring many new ongoing expenses due to the size and bandwidth of our
00:03:40.080
servers, the personnel expenses to maintain such a large system and for new and improved features
00:03:46.360
that we hope to add in the coming months. We must raise our campaign goal of an absolute minimum of
00:03:52.540
$500,000 to continue the fight to withdraw completely from big tech and strengthen our ability to survive
00:03:58.940
in the giant online world. So please donate at the link in the description below. Thank you for your
00:04:05.220
prayers, your support and your dedication. We are honored to be in this fight with you. May God bless you.
00:04:18.660
Let's begin, as we always do, with the sign of the cross. In the name of the Father and of the Son
00:04:23.880
and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. Jim, if you could start, tell us a little bit about yourself to start.
00:04:30.180
I've had a long career in the United States Air Force. I did 23 years in the Air Force.
00:04:38.360
After finishing four years prior to that at the Air Force Academy, I was in the class of 1987.
00:04:45.180
Our class motto was Wings from Heaven. Our wings are from heaven. So we started off early in our
00:04:52.800
Air Force career. I did 23 years flying T-38 trainers, C-5 airlifters across the globe.
00:05:01.480
I spent time at the Pentagon as a C-5, C-17 program manager. I was assigned to the Secretary of the Air
00:05:09.900
Forces staff for a special assignment, working the U.S. Capitol as a congressional liaison.
00:05:16.800
After that, I moved to United Airlines, got hired just before 9-11 on my first furlough from United
00:05:25.500
Airlines. Moved out to NORAD headquarters in a full-time military position as a program manager.
00:05:35.040
Then I moved as a chief of plans for the standing Joint Force headquarters in NORAD U.S.
00:05:42.800
NORTHCOM, where I worked on the 2007 Department of Defense Global Pandemic Influenza Plan as the lead
00:05:50.520
for that plan for the Secretary of Defense. And then finally finished up my Air Force career
00:05:56.400
as a Fulberg colonel in the NORAD NORTHCOM Command Center, Cheyenne Mountain, basically defending the
00:06:04.320
skies, space, using maritime assets to defend North America, both Canada, the United States, and elsewhere
00:06:15.000
from specific direct attack. And then returned back to United Airlines after I retired. I flew the
00:06:26.040
727 earlier, flew the 737, and then late in my United career was on the 787 when the COVID effort
00:06:35.720
happened. And we can talk more about that later. But that's generally my background. Thank you very
00:06:41.080
much for asking. Amazing background. Tom, yourself? I started in 1983, went to basic training, then
00:06:47.640
spent six years in the Army and transferred to the Air Force. Became a fighter pilot, flew fighters in
00:06:53.520
the Air Force, Air National Guard. Got hired to United Airlines in 2001, like Jim, and almost immediately
00:07:01.280
got furloughed thereafter. Went back after 9-11, got mobilized to Washington, D.C., where I worked in
00:07:08.020
the critical action team there at Andrews Air Force Base, coordinating efforts against the war on
00:07:15.280
terrorism. Deployed in 2003 to the desert. Many deployments, actually, but that was probably the
00:07:22.100
last big one there during the 2003 ramp up against Iraq and Afghanistan and Horn of Africa. Finished
00:07:30.400
out my career as a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force and went back to United Airlines.
00:07:37.140
I flew the 737, 757, 767, 777, and then retired from United Airlines as a captain of the 737.
00:07:48.680
And in addition to being pilots, you're celebrated veterans who have defended the country.
00:07:55.640
That's why this lawsuit is so stunning. Well, the lawsuit isn't so stunning as what has happened
00:08:02.100
to you. Can either of you give me a snapshot? Start even from the beginning, because I think
00:08:08.660
many people who are viewing this program, they haven't followed that closely. So tell us from
00:08:13.580
the beginning what happened, what led to the lawsuit? Basically, as we all remember how the COVID
00:08:18.200
pandemics began late 2019, we all knew it from the start that this virus began in Wuhan, China,
00:08:27.360
which is just west of Shanghai, in the valleys there, spread across the world. There's a lot
00:08:35.600
of speculation about how that occurred, but we flew. Jim flew, I flew, all through 2020, and all of the
00:08:40.640
rest of us in place flew on United Airlines through 2020 throughout the so-called pandemic. And then in
00:08:48.480
2021, they started working on a vaccine. And the vaccine was supposedly approved in late December
00:08:53.140
for distribution. By mid-March, it became available to basically general public. The United States
00:09:02.160
government had literally purchased billions of dollars worth of these products. In a nutshell,
00:09:08.400
at the end of July, early August, the CEO of United Airlines basically unilaterally decided that everyone
00:09:15.840
who is a domestic employee of United Airlines would be required to take this vaccine. They call it a
00:09:22.440
vaccine. They had to change the definition of vaccine in order to make that sort of fit. It's a
00:09:26.780
gene therapy. We were required to take this vaccine or you would be fired. Now, there was a religious
00:09:33.140
exemption or medical exemption. They call it a reasonable accommodation procedure or RAP that you
00:09:40.640
could apply for to abstain or refuse to take the vaccine. Very cumbersome process. United Airlines made it
00:09:48.640
extremely difficult. They even mocked us if we were thinking about doing this sort of thing. Our CEO got on TV and
00:09:53.620
literally mocked anyone who had a religious conviction against getting this. Pretty obtuse. Many people turn in
00:10:02.080
their religious exemption requests and they were many granted. A lot were about 18% were denied for some
00:10:11.340
unbelievable reason. I didn't know that that was even possible for a company to say you're not religious enough or
00:10:16.840
quantify your religious conviction. That was the case. And then in October, well, late September, the 27th of
00:10:25.660
September, you either had to have had the shot or had to have a religious, some sort of exemption or you'd be
00:10:32.240
fired. That came and passed. There was a injunction. Those of us, and I think the number was greater than 2,000
00:10:39.720
people who had abstained from taking this vaccine who did not take the shot were placed immediately on
00:10:47.820
unpaid leave of absence. That was the accommodation that the reasonable accommodation procedure provided
00:10:54.620
to us. Everybody who didn't take that shot were basically, and I use the word fired because it's hard
00:11:00.220
not to describe what they did to us as not being fired. We were told we couldn't work there anymore,
00:11:04.240
told we couldn't get paid anymore, took all of our benefits away. So then later on in March of 2022,
00:11:14.000
so this is six or seven months down the road from when the vaccine mandate began, they actually was
00:11:20.200
179 days to the day, which is 188 days. 180 days is when the EEOC procedure drops. But so 179 days later,
00:11:31.960
they allowed employees to return to work with conditions. And so that is kind of where we are
00:11:39.800
now. We have some employees who have returned. Some of us, like myself, I had to retire in order to have
00:11:44.700
access to my 401k. Others took other jobs and have since quit as well. So I miss anything, Jim?
00:11:51.360
Early in June, just to fill in a little bit of the gaps. Thank you, Tom. It's a great summary of what
00:11:57.400
happened. In the June-July timeframe of 2021, United provided monetary incentives as in bonuses.
00:12:06.600
Some people got one hour of pay. Pilots were actually authorized, I believe, 13 hours of pay
00:12:13.880
that would be reduced as time went into the future. So that was a significant amount of money as
00:12:19.660
potentially $4,000 to $5,000 for pilots and maybe $100 for other employees to try to financially
00:12:27.680
incentivize them. Others in America were being offered a free donut and other things. But at
00:12:35.680
United, they were providing money to try to incentivize people to get this. But as time went on
00:12:43.760
from June to July to August, when August 6th, when they mandated 100%, the CEO of United mandated 100%
00:12:52.240
of the employees would be getting the injection. Then things got extremely forceful, coercive.
00:13:00.400
It was between the messaging. And then it was kind of like those that had not gotten injected
00:13:08.680
were being categorized and targeted by those that were injected. And they set up kind of two different
00:13:15.860
groups to try to push people coercively to try to get the injection by September 27th.
00:13:24.040
And then we were ostracized again after the preliminary injunction November 12th on unpaid leave. All of our
00:13:32.700
benefits were taken away, including medical benefits and life insurance benefits in the middle of a
00:13:40.280
pandemic. So that doesn't make a whole lot of sense from anyone in America. Why would you take those
00:13:47.600
away in the middle of some sort of a virus affecting America? But that was what was all of our benefits
00:13:54.240
were taken away. Because it was a reasonable accommodation, of course. Of course. Yeah. And it's
00:14:00.720
reasonable to, in the name of safety, and he was so worried about our health safety that he took our
00:14:05.780
medical insurance away. Yeah. It just didn't seem to hold a lot of water. In the complaint, you talk
00:14:11.920
about religious discrimination. What was there on that score? And was there anything more than that as
00:14:17.860
well? We believe, and I think that every American probably believes the same way, that religious
00:14:23.180
conviction is a reasonable excuse for not going along with any sorts of thing, especially like
00:14:30.680
this was an experimental drug. It was shown early on that they were using aborted fetal,
00:14:36.520
human fetal tissue to create, build, develop these vaccines. And I took exception to that because I
00:14:44.140
believe that if we continue to turn our head on things like that, that we are essentially supporting
00:14:49.300
the abortion industry. And I take exception to that. Since I was very young, I've been a strong
00:14:56.980
supporter of the sanctity of life and that all life is precious. It's made in the image of our
00:15:05.360
creator. And we don't have the authority or the hubris to just pick and choose who gets to live.
00:15:12.760
That's God's job. So I took exception with it. And so we believe that religious convictions are a
00:15:26.020
We turned in our religious exemptions. And these are sort of things that the United put a lot of
00:15:31.120
the employees through, including myself. We sent in the religious exemption basically saying,
00:15:36.600
hey, I object to this. I find it offensive. It's against my religious convictions for a number of
00:15:41.080
reasons, not only to include what it says, what the psalmist said about, you know, God knitted me in the
00:15:46.560
womb before he was, before I was ever, he knew me before, well, I was in the womb. He made me the way
00:15:52.520
he made me for a reason. And I don't have the hubris to think I can improve on that. We turned those
00:15:57.480
requests in for the religious exemption. But then the company basically said, and I'm just paraphrasing,
00:16:04.600
we think you're lying, prove it. You know, so they said, go, go get somebody, go get somebody in
00:16:10.220
your church or your clergy or somebody to say that you really are religious. And that's violative of
00:16:17.760
Title VII requirements as well. You know, even an atheist has protection under Title VII for religious
00:16:25.140
exemptions. So they basically said, we think you're lying, prove it, go get a letter from somebody or
00:16:31.300
many somebody saying you're really religious. That's one of the things they did. And then finally,
00:16:37.520
sometimes they, they denied approving a religious exemption. They decided, I guess they have some
00:16:44.860
matrix by which they decided this person is religious enough, that person is not. So
00:16:49.820
some people were granted a religious exemption. Some people were denied a religious exemption.
00:16:56.240
And those of us who were granted a religious exemption, depending on what kind of job we had,
00:17:03.300
we were placed on unpaid leave of absence. Basically, you will not work here anymore,
00:17:09.460
we'll not pay you anymore, period. And that started ostensibly on September 27th, September 28th timeframe,
00:17:17.080
and carried forward until March 27th, when they allowed some people to return.
00:17:24.640
Going back in time, when did you refuse to take the vaccine?
00:17:27.700
For me, it was well before September 27th. I knew in the spring of 2021, when there was talk about
00:17:36.500
the vaccines were coming, that I was not going to be taking this given I had done a bunch of my own
00:17:43.760
research. And we have medical trained people in my family. We did a lot of research where we could
00:17:49.700
find information that was not necessarily coming from official sources, but legitimate scientific
00:17:57.340
studies and other information saying that this had not been properly vetted. There were three
00:18:04.720
different potential injections coming and post-operation warp speed. But I made the decision
00:18:14.520
in the spring of 2021, while the discussion across America about vaccines coming, that I was not going
00:18:23.100
to take it. And as a former pandemic planner from the military, it didn't make sense to me that a
00:18:29.440
vaccine that was developed for the original 15 days to flatten the curve back in March and April of 2020
00:18:37.000
was going to be implemented 12 to 18 months later. It just didn't follow any logic for me whatsoever.
00:18:44.480
So that's why I definitely passed on the injection. Tom, do you have anything to add?
00:18:49.480
Yeah, for me, it's kind of the same sorts of things that came up back in early March in 2020.
00:18:55.920
And then they hit this narrative very, very hard. And they were effective at it, John Henry.
00:19:00.980
They told you, if you get back, if you get COVID, you're going to die. And there's just no hope for
00:19:05.500
you. They increased the level of fear to a height that I've never seen before in my life, that you
00:19:12.720
literally are, there's no chance for you. You have to do all these things or you're going to die.
00:19:17.160
And so when the vaccine came out, I was very skeptical first off because of the use of the
00:19:23.980
fetal tissue for development and then also for production with regard to a couple of the
00:19:31.080
manufacturers. But the other thing that really made the hair stand up on the back of my neck was why
00:19:38.200
are all these people pushing this so hard? And the message is so, I mean, just one message.
00:19:45.200
They were not allowing any other discussions. If a scientist who was opposed to these ideas,
00:19:54.720
even like Jim says, who was saying that these vaccines were not being challenged, they were like,
00:20:02.600
hey, this is it. This is all you get. This is the best thing we have. Well, even, I mean,
00:20:06.920
I know that there's some talk about breakthrough cases in August, but these breakthrough cases of
00:20:14.760
people who had received the shot were getting COVID as early as June after having only got the shot
00:20:23.860
in March, April, maybe even May timeframe. So this vaccine was not working. It was not preventing
00:20:30.680
people from getting it. It was certainly not getting people from ending up in the hospital
00:20:36.560
after having had the shot. So all of the things that I was seeing was just like, hey, this is
00:20:42.200
not working. It's not safe. It's not. And then John Henry immediately started looking, you know,
00:20:49.040
I have a, we have a great friend on our team and he has an acronym. He said, DYOR, do your own
00:20:55.300
research, look it up, find out these answers. Don't just believe what they tell you on the TV.
00:20:59.820
We had all kind of all done that, the 30 of us plaintiffs. And part of that involved what's going
00:21:06.240
on with the, the, the, the injuries, the VAERS system. I knew nothing about that in, in 20 or in,
00:21:14.980
in 2019 and 2021, that was a big, big issue. And as you looked at how these VAERS is that website
00:21:24.360
on the, on the, I think it's on the National Institute of Health that tracks, I think it's
00:21:29.460
vaccine adverse events, a recording system or reporting system, something on there. And they
00:21:35.940
tracked all of the different adverse events that were occurring with regard to this vaccine. And it
00:21:40.800
was literally showing hundreds of thousands of adverse events, including death. And nobody on TV,
00:21:48.880
basically everybody who was going along with this narrative, we're just completely ignoring that.
00:21:53.040
That made the hair stand up on my neck. And so it was early, probably March, April timeframe,
00:21:57.960
maybe, maybe as late as May timeframe, when I had decided this vaccine is not safe. It's not going
00:22:02.240
to work. John, there's one more thing to remember about this. This vaccine was not even legal for
00:22:08.380
pilots to take. We are, we are restricted by the FAA from taking experimental drugs. And that's exactly
00:22:16.760

00:22:42.460
It's quite unique for the both of you that you both were involved in the military,
00:22:50.060
already seen. I loved your point there, Jim, about, wait a minute, we're taking a vaccine now
00:22:54.720
so many months later when it was developed for that first one. And if you've seen viruses go
00:23:00.040
through, that first one isn't around anymore. It's a new mutated virus that you have to fight.
00:23:03.780
So it's kind of useless to take the first one. They're still insisting the unvaccinated
00:23:07.700
take the first vaccine. So you guys had a bird's eye view to what the public, I guess, has now.
00:23:15.500
Because back then, hardly anybody was looking at VAERS. But now, of course, it's all coming out.
00:23:22.520
Again, when we did our pandemic planning, and you've heard this discussed now, not so much in
00:23:27.000
March of 2020, it was about preventing transmission, right? Prevent transmission of the virus.
00:23:32.700
So we were all mandated at United by September 27, 2021, to have the injection. And then a number of
00:23:41.860
us, over 2,000, maybe closer to 3,000, were put on an indefinite unpaid leave, and some were
00:23:49.960
terminated permanently. And we never knew if we were going to be able to come back.
00:23:54.980
And it was at some point, United said, well, in the future, we'll determine when you can come back.
00:23:59.680
But it's interesting, because over that Christmas of 2021, into, you know, New Year's of 2022,
00:24:07.600
United had dozens and dozens of cancellations of flights. They had hundreds and hundreds of sick
00:24:16.500
with COVID infections, employees, after they had all taken this mandatory injection,
00:24:27.740
transmission by the September of 2021 for the original variant. So again, that was real obvious
00:24:36.120
to us, you know, over a year ago, that transmission was not prevented by this gene therapy injection. So
00:24:45.140
again, I know the public is starting to see this, but isn't that interesting? It didn't work,
00:24:52.180
didn't prevent it. And now other, some of these pharmaceutical companies have tried to develop
00:24:58.860
an Omicron version. But now Omicron is already through the population, many, many months past. So
00:25:04.980
they don't work. They're just injections, they don't prevent transmission, they don't prevent
00:25:09.480
infection. And therefore, here we sit, looking back going, wow, was that even worth it?
00:25:14.820
You had a vision beyond what most people did. And thanks be to God for that, because I mean,
00:25:19.660
you were able to avoid what now many people know is extremely harmful. And you saw, you saw what most
00:25:27.440
didn't, that it wasn't working. You saw the cancellations, where all of us weren't told
00:25:32.280
anything. We're just basically left in the dark thinking, oh, this must be so wonderful. All those
00:25:37.280
people who are getting the vaccine are safe and good, because that's what we were told.
00:25:40.660
And now, these, this year later or so, we're finally told by the very people who are saying,
00:25:48.840
take it, it will provide you protection. Bill Gates for what? Now being told, yeah, yeah,
00:25:54.360
really doesn't do anything for, for transmission. It's, it's unbelievable. And yet, this is still going
00:26:03.660
on. And United hasn't yet, you know, given back to you guys. It hasn't set things straight for you.
00:26:11.220
They haven't budged. They're digging their heels in on this. And it makes no sense, not for the
00:26:17.180
industry, not for pilot safety, not for passenger safety. You know, when they, when they said, hey,
00:26:22.040
buddy, you can take your masks off now. I think those who are behind the narrative were just hoping
00:26:27.700
that there would be this enormous spike in COVID cases right after everybody took the masks off.
00:26:34.640
Well, there wasn't. And that's why, because the masks weren't doing anything either.
00:26:38.820
There's been tens of thousands of deaths or in the U.S. in the VAERS system and millions and millions
00:26:46.940
of people impacted by these injections with this long-term forced injection across, you know,
00:26:55.580
the globe. I mean, what about God's ability that he's given us to fight off infection, our, our own
00:27:02.700
human immunology? I mean, look, we have natural immunity. So many of it, they talked about herd
00:27:09.280
immunity for so long. And then that dropped just ahead of these mandatory injections for 84 million
00:27:16.240
Americans in corporate America trying to, to, to, to go to work and why, what's wrong with people that
00:27:22.540
were exposed to the, you know, the infection and recovered. They have natural immunity, which lasts
00:27:29.340
a much, much longer time has now been proven in multiple scientific studies that natural immunity
00:27:35.280
is actually better than these short-term injections that only last, you know, weeks or just a couple of
00:27:41.660
months. So, so again, just so many questions. Why was this all done this way? People are starting to
00:27:48.740
kind of see what's going on. You know, in, in, in, in the book of James, he, it, it, he talks and he
00:27:54.200
asks, he, he, he implores those who he's writing this letter to, to ask for wisdom and God will give
00:27:59.620
it to you. Well, it appears that as time has gone by, this wisdom has been prayed for and has been
00:28:06.060
being given to people. And we're seeing these scales removed from the eyes of, of, of believers
00:28:12.040
and, uh, opening, opening their eyes and looking and seeing how we have been lied to, how we've been
00:28:18.500
deceived. And, uh, I think that, uh, God's people are moving on this and, uh, we're making, we're
00:28:25.140
making a difference. One of the things I want to return to is something that you said already
00:28:28.680
that pilots are forbidden from taking any kind of experimental drug because when you're flying,
00:28:37.920
you've got everyone's life in your hands, quite literally. And so the idea to go for this
00:28:46.340
is stunning in that they knew it was experimental. And I'm sorry to say the guys at the top who are
00:28:55.780
making the decisions that have everybody's life in their hands, they would have seen the virus.
00:29:01.600
They would have seen the reality of it. Do you think that Bill Gates, when he finally came out and
00:29:07.700
told us, didn't know that months and months and months before? Sure he did. So what in the world
00:29:16.340
And we believe that United was extremely heavy handed in the way they handled this.
00:29:20.680
We think that they, they, they can't claim they didn't know about the VAERS data or the, uh,
00:29:26.960
or the failures of the programs that were, that were being, uh, instituted in countries like
00:29:32.680
Gibraltar and Israel and Iceland, where they had a very high 85% plus vaccination rate as early as,
00:29:40.320
as July of 2021. And ironically, the COVID case load or count in those countries did not reduce.
00:29:51.520
Actually, it continued to go up. So it was very clear early on in the program that, and this is before
00:29:58.080
the mandate even occurred, it's very, very clear that the vaccine was not preventing COVID spread,
00:30:05.040
you know, uh, contraction. And unfortunately it wasn't even slowing the, the death rate. Um,
00:30:12.060
it's awful. It's just absolutely awful. So United can't claim that they didn't know
00:30:16.160
because information is out there in a letter that I sent to them. I explained to them, Hey,
00:30:20.140
look at VAERS data, look at these other countries. It's not working.
00:30:22.740
Now, one of the things you said in your suit is you talked about United acting as a state actor.
00:30:29.580
What do you mean by that? And what did they do?
00:30:31.860
This is a hard case to prove. This is going to take a long time and we're going to do this in
00:30:35.840
the court system, but it's pretty clear that right from the start, United Airlines was functioning as
00:30:41.700
a state actor. And you can go back as far as, uh, you know, the May and March timeframe of 2020,
00:30:46.520
when the United States government, uh, gave United Airlines a 5 billion with a B dollar grant,
00:30:55.420
a $1.5 billion loan, bought 4.6 million common stock, uh, shares of common stock in United
00:31:04.580
Airlines. And this was, uh, right at the beginning of the pandemic. And it, we believe that at that
00:31:10.100
time, United Airlines as a private company ceased to exist. At that point, it was being, uh,
00:31:15.980
controlled by the U S government, uh, Scott Kirby came in and I, he, he stepped right in line with
00:31:24.280
the Biden administration, what was going on, uh, the, the plan for universal inoculations,
00:31:29.360
um, totally shoving his head in the sand about the different scientific reviews out there showing
00:31:35.680
that the vaccines were not working, uh, antivirals or preventive protocols, uh, entirely shoved his head
00:31:43.620
and sand on that. So, um, I mean, there's been some quid pro quo between United Airlines and the
00:31:49.480
U S government. Um, United was granted contracts from the government that other airlines were not
00:31:54.620
given, um, to do things because of, and we, we, we assert that it's because of the, the way United
00:32:02.420
Airlines just so aggressively pushed this vaccine mandate in, in, in conjunction with what the federal
00:32:09.160
government was saying. We have further examples of, uh, quid pro quo, you know, Scott Kirby, after,
00:32:15.240
uh, delivering 99% of his employees. However, those numbers had to be kind of cooked in order to make
00:32:22.220
the 99 number actually correct. Um, uh, he had to cook the books a little bit on that, but he was given
00:32:28.080
a, uh, an appointment in the Biden administration. Uh, he, you know, United Airlines continue to get,
00:32:33.480
uh, lucrative contracts from the government, including, you know, baby formula, flying the,
00:32:38.380
the vaccines to and from, uh, points of origin, uh, to their, to their markets. Even Joe Biden
00:32:44.520
took a special interest in what United was doing. You know, he wasn't, you know, in, in, in October
00:32:50.880
of 2021, he was quoting the, uh, wild successes of the United airline mandate on its employees,
00:32:58.320
you know, so, Oh, what a wonderful thing, but he wasn't quoting what was going on at, uh,
00:33:02.900
not only John Deere tractor or, uh, or Google or some of these other big companies out there.
00:33:07.080
He had a special involved interest in United airlines. And we believe that is, uh, indicative
00:33:13.020
of the relationship that was going on there. United airlines was working as a surrogate for
00:33:17.180
the U S government, uh, a state actor is what the legal term is called. And, uh, uh, that
00:33:22.840
unfortunately puts them in a very, very bad libel situation for a lot of laws that don't
00:33:28.200
necessarily apply to legal to, uh, to, uh, to a private entity, but once they're a state
00:33:33.780
actor, they have lots of other problems they're going to have to deal with.
00:33:37.960
Just to kind of paint the picture from back in 2020, when $5 billion was given from the,
00:33:43.980
uh, as you know, to, to United airlines, as well as the $600 million shares that were bought
00:33:50.380
by the government, United was parking hundreds and hundreds of airplanes. Uh, and, and basically,
00:33:56.580
uh, virtually, uh, virtually came to a grinding halt, uh, right, uh, after March of 2020 when
00:34:04.100
planes were parked. So United, you know, was, was working already to reach out to the U S
00:34:11.000
government to see if there could be some help there. Uh, the government provided that quite
00:34:16.440
quickly, uh, hundreds of airplanes were being parked. They were trying to generate, uh, uh,
00:34:22.400
some revenue. So they started some cargo, uh, movements. Uh, they were one of the first day
00:34:28.140
may have been the first airline to, to, to press for the mask, uh, mandate on airplanes to try to
00:34:35.300
get passengers back on. But it's interesting because all of those passengers didn't have to
00:34:40.880
have the injection a year, year and a half later, other, other airline employees, uh, even riding in
00:34:48.080
the, uh, on the, uh, on the jump seat of United airlines, they didn't need to have that injection,
00:34:52.680
but, but, uh, only United employees, only U S based United airlines employees were required to be
00:34:59.780
100% vaccinated while the rest of the public, other airline employees, uh, jump seaters from other
00:35:06.900
airlines could all flow in and out of, uh, our, our United airlines, uh, airplane. So it,
00:35:14.140
where we were set up as a specific, uh, population, uh, or a statistic that could be, uh, shown to the
00:35:22.200
government, Hey, we've got a hundred percent of our employees vaccinated, but we're not going to
00:35:27.140
worry too much about, uh, the passengers. We'll just let the government handle it. It just didn't
00:35:32.160
make any sense. That was, again, why did that have to happen that way? Well, it certainly seems to
00:35:37.920
make sense when you're talking about 5 billion. Can you go over those numbers again? $5 billion
00:35:43.660
grant. Was it 5 billion? And they got an additional 2.5 billion after that. At the same time, part of
00:35:49.780
the agreement they made with the U S treasury department was that the U S treasury department
00:35:52.840
was going to fight and went to buy 4.6 million United airline shares. So that certainly gave them
00:36:01.640
a, a place at the table for making decisions if, if nothing else. And then you say, why, why is the
00:36:09.040
U S government buying shares in any company? We at LifeSite have an opportunity to support this
00:36:13.540
lawsuit. Um, if, uh, you feel inclined and prayerfully consider, please, uh, funding this
00:36:19.880
work, this great challenge, go to life funder.com slash wings, and you'll be able to donate there.
00:36:27.660
Tell us please where we can find out more about the complaint.
00:36:30.720
John Henry, we're working on, uh, getting ourselves kind of set up as a group. Um, we have some
00:36:35.060
extremely talented people in our group, uh, coordinators, uh, administrative types, um,
00:36:41.360
big thinkers. We have a very fast and diverse group of, of plaintiffs. And so we're working
00:36:46.840
on getting our, our, our website set. We are, we're on Twitter, uh, under, uh, wings for liberty
00:36:52.940
and justice. We're on truth social for wings for liberty and justice. We're on rumble for wings
00:36:57.760
for liberty and justice. Uh, you type those names in and you're going to come find us. Uh,
00:37:02.060
we are putting out information as quickly as we can, um, to, to, to explain what's going on with
00:37:07.800
our, with our case, with our complaint against United. But like you said, we are 30 people deep
00:37:14.000
and our pockets are not nearly as deep as those of United airlines. They will do everything they
00:37:19.740
can to fight this. Uh, they don't want to be found guilty. Uh, and, and, um, they're going to
00:37:25.780
spend, they have deep, deep pockets. We need every, every penny that people can afford to help us with
00:37:30.720
this. Um, uh, what I've often mentioned is if, if we, if we have listeners out there who can just
00:37:38.700
give $10 a month to us for, for, for a year and just watch and see how we do, uh, we have a very,
00:37:48.620
uh, very Christ centered plaintiff orientation. Uh, we feel deeply compelled to make sure that
00:37:56.540
every penny is spent very, very carefully. We're trying to be, uh, we're trying to be good stewards
00:38:01.340
according to the instructions given to us in the Bible and how we handle these, these,
00:38:05.540
uh, these donations. And so after a year's time, see how, how it goes and, uh, make another decision
00:38:13.360
in a year's time to continue to support us. But that would be your, your, your life under account
00:38:21.380
You guys really are sort of in a way the tip of the spear for employees. How do you think your case
00:38:27.540
might apply to other employees from federal organizations?
00:38:31.220
Certainly with, uh, not only the employees of the federal government, but the 84 million
00:38:35.600
Americans who were told on September 9th, 2021 by the president, uh, you must get this jab,
00:38:43.640
you must get this injection and, or your job's at risk. Uh, you know, don't disappoint us. Uh,
00:38:50.380
and he went on, said many other things, um, you know, and that, that was overturned in January of
00:38:56.560
2022, uh, by the Supreme court, the OSHA, uh, ruling basically saying that was, uh, uh, too extensive
00:39:04.940
of a ruling by OSHA, uh, for an executive branch. So we, we feel we're the, we're a David versus
00:39:12.380
Goliath case, uh, where we're fighting for our religious, uh, liberty, uh, because of religious
00:39:18.040
discrimination, because of these coercive forced injections. And of course the state actorship,
00:39:24.100
the close coordination between the U S government and the United airlines. So we are trying to make,
00:39:30.020
uh, our case an example for the 84 million Americans who were potentially forced out of
00:39:36.780
their jobs in corporate America, as well as all of the federal government, uh, employees, you know,
00:39:42.840
these are our bodies. We have medical freedom. We've heard about my body, my choice. We should
00:39:49.080
have that freedom to decide what goes into our bodies and what happens to us medically. And so
00:39:55.300
that's what we're fighting for. And we appreciate anyone that, uh, if it, God puts it on their heart
00:40:00.900
to contribute to our case. Uh, we're not just fighting for the 30 of us. We're fighting for
00:40:06.120
everyone in America who wants that freedom, that, that religious, uh, freedom, that medical freedom
00:40:13.000
to decide what happens with your body and, uh, what happens to the temple of God. So please,
00:40:18.280
uh, consider, uh, donating to our, our, our case and, uh, follow us at, uh, at wings for Liberty at
00:40:25.640
Twitter. And we'll, we'll be getting more information out as this case progresses.
00:40:30.220
If United gets away with this to force employees to take a shot, to take some medical product,
00:40:34.860
take some medical procedure. If they get away with this, every other company is going to do it.
00:40:40.640
If they get away with it, whether you're working at Nissan or Google or American airlines or whatever,
00:40:46.820
those companies will have something to look back at and say, well, United got away with it.
00:40:52.680
Let's try that. And I mean, we can take this down to the extreme. If you want, um, they could force
00:40:59.860
women to get abortions. They could force all kinds of things on, on their employees. If they decide,
00:41:04.860
if they get away with this, we have to stop this right here, right now. And, uh, this, this is,
00:41:12.520
or, or basically we've, we've lost our freedom of our bodily choices and, and, and, and turning it
00:41:19.220
over to non-elected even, you know, just, just company officials can't be done. It's tyranny.
00:41:25.920
Jim and Tom, let me say for many, many of us, thank you for what you're doing.
00:41:30.160
You know, God has called you first to military service, then to public life, but he's asked
00:41:38.120
you once again to fight, to fight for freedom in America. And this war you're currently engaging
00:41:46.260
in might end up to be the most important one you fought in. Thank you for your service,
00:41:52.620
Well, thank you, John Henry. And we believe as a group that courage creates courage. If we can do
00:41:59.180
this, if we can stand courageously, it will give other people through voices like the one you're
00:42:04.160
providing to be courageous as well. When their boss comes to them and says, Hey, just sign this,
00:42:09.020
just sign this. They need to read it. I have a friend who was just recently required to sign this
00:42:15.420
thing saying that she was a white supremacist to just go along and get along, keep your job. Don't worry
00:42:19.540
about it. And she said, no, I am absolutely not signing that. I am not a white supremacist.
00:42:25.460
And, and, and so she did not sign this and it went all the way up to the top of the company.
00:42:30.600
She said she felt like she was discriminated against. Now that's courage. That's the kind
00:42:34.820
of courage that we're trying to encourage people to do. And when we stand, others stand and more
00:42:40.940
courageous people come out of this, and that's what we're trying to do. We need to stand as a
00:42:45.300
courageous army. We were for, we were for the most high God. We've got nothing to fear. Nothing
00:42:53.100
here on this planet is going to affect us. We are courageous. We are not given a spirit of fear.
00:42:59.360
We are heirs. We're heirs to the King. So courage creates courage. And that's what we're trying to do
00:43:05.480
here. And I want to add to that, John, thank you for this great opportunity to share what we're
00:43:10.300
trying to do, not only for ourselves, you know, but everyone in America. God brought us all together.
00:43:16.180
I didn't know Tom, uh, at, when I was at United and, and brought us 30 plaintiffs together from,
00:43:22.820
from multiple States. I think we're from 19 or 20 States. Uh, and we're just a small group. We call
00:43:29.480
ourselves Gideon's army. Uh, we're 30, a specter of 10, smaller than the 300 in the Bible. And we're
00:43:37.000
just, God brought us all together. And so according to Ephesians six, we're to put on the armor of God
00:43:42.540
and fight for, for righteous truth and justice. And that's what we're doing as a group. And we're
00:43:47.980
trying to encourage others as a Tom Floyd has just said, this is about us. This is about our service,
00:43:55.660
uh, you know, to the, to the kingdom. And this is about what's right in America. And we're fighting
00:44:01.900
for, to keep those, those rights and freedoms, not only underneath the constitution,
00:44:06.240
but what God has put in the Bible. So that's why we're here. We're fighting for,
00:44:10.540
we're fighting not only for us, but for America. Thank you very much.
00:44:14.620
Beautiful. Thank you both. God bless you. Remember everyone, life funder slash wings,
00:44:20.160
where you can support this case. God bless all of you. And we'll see you next time.
