00:00:00.000 Hey, my friends, thank you for joining us for this First Saturday Rosary and Rosary
00:00:04.580 Meditation.
00:00:05.580 Really a special gift to you now.
00:00:07.240 We're going to do the staff of LifeSite together, which happens very, very rarely.
00:00:11.900 We only meet together once a year.
00:00:13.940 And so we prayed the Holy Rosary to do this First Saturday Rosary with you all as a team.
00:00:21.180 Please stick around after the Rosary, of course, for the 15 minutes of meditation, which in
00:00:26.560 addition to your Holy Communion, your confession, the five-decade rosary, and the 15 minutes
00:00:31.600 meditation, all offered up in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart
00:00:36.940 of Mary, will fulfill your First Saturday devotion.
00:00:41.020 We're in that 100-year period where Our Lady asked for this devotion to be done, and it
00:00:47.520 ends off in December.
00:00:50.280 And so we're trying to get it in for maybe sometimes, for some of you, for the first time
00:00:55.960 within that 100-year period.
00:00:58.160 So please join us, and thank you for doing so.
00:01:00.920 God bless you.
00:01:02.160 And nomine Patris et fili et spiritus sancti.
00:01:05.940 Amen.
00:01:07.000 Come, Holy Ghost, as we unite ourselves with all the saints in heaven, with all the just
00:01:12.460 on earth, and with thee, Lord Jesus, in order that we might praise thy Holy Mother worthily,
00:01:18.160 in order that we might praise thee in her and by her.
00:01:21.240 And we do renounce all the distractions that will come to us while we're praying this rosary.
00:01:25.960 We offer thee, Lord Jesus Christ, this creed in order to recognize the great faith you
00:01:31.360 gave to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
00:01:33.560 We ask for a share in this same faith.
00:01:36.400 I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
00:01:40.380 I believe in Jesus Christ as the only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
00:01:45.500 born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
00:01:50.600 He descended into hell.
00:01:52.620 On the third day, he rose again from the dead.
00:01:55.020 He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty.
00:01:59.060 From thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
00:02:02.360 I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness
00:02:08.200 of sins, the resurrection, and the father of your life.
00:02:11.520 Everlasting.
00:02:12.380 Amen.
00:02:12.960 Lord Jesus Christ, we offer you this, our Father, in order to recognize you in your oneness,
00:02:18.800 in order to recognize you as the first cause and the last end of all things.
00:02:24.000 Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
00:02:27.140 Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
00:02:30.540 Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who
00:02:36.920 trespass against us.

00:16:51.300 O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell
00:17:00.120 Lead all souls to heaven, especially those who most need of thy mercy
00:17:04.620 Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope
00:17:09.720 To thee do we cry, poor man as children of Eve
00:17:12.780 To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears
00:17:17.340 Turn then, most gracious, to advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us
00:17:21.540 And after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus
00:17:26.380 O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, O Holy Mother of God
00:17:31.440 Let us pray, O God, whose only begotten Son, by his life, death, and resurrection
00:17:38.640 Has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life
00:17:41.520 Grant, we beseech thee, that by meditating upon these mysteries
00:17:45.340 Of the most holy rosary of the blessed Virgin Mary
00:17:48.220 We may both imitate what they contain and obtain to what they promise
00:17:52.040 Through the same Christ, our Lord, Amen
00:17:54.400 Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary
00:17:57.180 That never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection
00:18:00.800 Implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided
00:18:04.680 Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother
00:18:09.600 To thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful
00:18:13.100 O mother of the word incarnate, despise not my petitions
00:18:17.360 But in thy mercy hear and answer me, Amen
00:18:20.280 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, Amen
00:18:24.240 Remember that the blessed Virgin Mary was conceived without original sin
00:18:28.880 In the womb of her mother, Saint Anne
00:18:30.760 From the first moment of her life she was devoted to God
00:18:34.680 Her intellect was not darkened from the effects of original sin
00:18:38.120 So she loved and adored the Creator from her first moments
00:18:41.340 She grew up praying for the coming of the promised Messiah
00:18:44.580 Her love for God was greater than all the world together
00:18:47.840 Her humility was like a shining beacon to the Almighty
00:18:51.400 When the angel Gabriel came to visit her
00:18:53.980 He knelt, addressing her with the angelic salutation
00:18:56.980 Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee
00:18:59.840 She was startled by the angel's greeting
00:19:02.040 But when reassured that it was a divine request
00:19:05.400 Since her promise of virginity would be intact
00:19:07.720 She responds with her fiat
00:19:09.700 Behold the handmaid of the Lord
00:19:11.720 Be it done to me according to thy word
00:19:13.900 And the Holy Ghost descended upon her
00:19:16.660 And she conceived in her womb Jesus 0.98
00:19:18.660 The second person of the Holy Trinity
00:19:20.920 It was the Incarnation
00:19:22.360 God became man
00:19:23.600 She was the living tabernacle of the Most High
00:19:26.400 The Ark of the New Covenant
00:19:28.220 But rather than pay attention to herself
00:19:30.920 Our Lady, still a young girl of no more than sixteen
00:19:33.340 Set out to visit her elderly cousin Elizabeth
00:19:35.820 Who was thought to be barren
00:19:37.820 Saint Gabriel, during the Annunciation
00:19:40.480 Informed Mary that Elizabeth was pregnant
00:19:42.660 And in her third month
00:19:43.800 So Mary, bearing the Christ child in her womb 0.94
00:19:46.580 Traveled to the hill country of Judea
00:19:48.540 To visit Elizabeth
00:19:49.500 When she heard Mary's greeting
00:19:51.780 Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost
00:19:54.100 And despite being Mary's superior by age 0.77
00:19:56.840 She recognized in her young cousin
00:19:59.520 The Theotokos 0.98
00:20:00.700 The God-bearer
00:20:01.960 And said
00:20:02.620 Who am I
00:20:04.040 That the mother of my Lord
00:20:05.580 Should come to me
00:20:06.560 Elizabeth testified to Mary 0.93
00:20:09.300 That at the child in her womb 0.94
00:20:11.600 Leapt
00:20:12.600 As the sound of Mary's greeting reached her
00:20:14.660 The as-yet-unborn St. John the Baptist
00:20:17.620 Recognized the presence of the unborn Christ
00:20:20.160 Present in the living tabernacle of his aunt
00:20:22.500 The Blessed Virgin Mary
00:20:23.820 Mary responded with her Magnificat 0.81
00:20:26.960 Saying
00:20:27.780 My soul magnifies the Lord
00:20:29.400 And my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour
00:20:31.800 For he has regarded the humility of his handmaid
00:20:34.400 For behold
00:20:35.560 From henceforth
00:20:36.260 All generations shall call me blessed
00:20:38.300 For the Mighty One has done great things to me
00:20:40.920 Mary remained there 0.99
00:20:43.480 To help her cousin
00:20:44.340 Until the birth of the Baptist 1.00
00:20:45.820 After which she went home
00:20:47.320 And there Joseph was confronted
00:20:49.940 With the knowledge of Mary's pregnancy 0.85
00:20:51.420 And suffered
00:20:52.320 Thinking at first
00:20:53.300 To call off their marriage
00:20:54.380 But after being reassured
00:20:56.060 By the angel of the Lord
00:20:57.660 He took her as his wife 0.99
00:20:59.620 Knowing that the child to be born
00:21:01.380 Of her
00:21:02.280 Was of the Holy Spirit
00:21:03.800 And that she was to remain a virgin forever
00:21:06.400 He became the foster father of our Lord
00:21:09.380 And the head of the Holy Family
00:21:11.160 They were then required
00:21:13.640 By the Emperor's decree
00:21:15.540 To go to the city of Bethlehem
00:21:17.080 For the census
00:21:17.980 And made the journey
00:21:19.340 Despite Our Lady's advanced pregnancy 1.00
00:21:21.280 When they arrived
00:21:23.080 They could find no place
00:21:24.540 In an inn
00:21:25.020 For the birth of the Messiah
00:21:26.140 They were grateful
00:21:27.620 Even to be allowed
00:21:28.760 To make use of a stable
00:21:30.100 Where the King of Kings
00:21:31.620 Would be born
00:21:32.280 Joseph cleaned that stable
00:21:34.460 To prepare for his coming
00:21:35.820 Meanwhile
00:21:37.020 Shepherds in the fields nearby
00:21:38.760 Were told by angels
00:21:39.980 Of the birth of the Savior
00:21:40.980 And went to find him
00:21:43.100 Given the sign
00:21:43.900 That he was to be found
00:21:45.180 Lying in a manger
00:21:46.180 A feeding trough
00:21:47.560 Where would be found
00:21:48.900 The bread of heaven
00:21:50.080 They adored him
00:21:51.580 Faces to the ground
00:21:52.800 In an act of adoration
00:21:54.180 Recognizing in a tiny baby
00:21:56.120 God Almighty
00:21:57.340 The Messiah
00:21:58.080 The Holy One of Israel
00:21:59.380 And when he was only
00:22:01.460 Eight days old
00:22:02.360 Mary and Joseph
00:22:03.420 Took the baby Jesus 0.99
00:22:04.420 To present him
00:22:05.200 In the temple 0.83
00:22:05.920 Where he would be circumcised 0.91
00:22:07.980 And there Simeon
00:22:09.440 Who was really
00:22:10.460 Really ancient
00:22:11.200 Would recognize the child
00:22:12.920 As the promised Messiah
00:22:14.120 And utter that promise
00:22:15.480 Of the Lord
00:22:16.000 That he would not die
00:22:17.560 Before he would see
00:22:18.440 The Messiah
00:22:18.920 Had come to pass
00:22:20.100 And that the Lord
00:22:21.400 Might now dismiss
00:22:22.580 His servant in peace
00:22:23.740 Since his eyes
00:22:24.960 Had beheld
00:22:25.720 The Lord's salvation
00:22:27.360 Simeon would also
00:22:29.520 Prophesy
00:22:30.040 That the child
00:22:31.020 Would be for the rise
00:22:32.300 And fall of many
00:22:33.100 In Israel 0.79
00:22:33.520 And that a sword
00:22:34.640 Would pierce the heart
00:22:35.780 Of Mary his mother
00:22:36.600 That the thoughts
00:22:37.560 Of many hearts
00:22:38.580 Might be revealed
00:22:39.420 Anna the prophetess
00:22:41.200 Also recognized him
00:22:42.660 In the temple
00:22:43.140 And spread the news
00:22:44.320 Of his being the Messiah
00:22:45.420 From there
00:22:47.100 The Holy Family
00:22:47.760 Returned to Nazareth
00:22:48.780 And what glory
00:22:49.980 And joy
00:22:50.520 Must have filled
00:22:51.200 Those days
00:22:51.860 For Joseph and Mary
00:22:52.680 As they held
00:22:53.560 In their arms
00:22:54.160 The baby king
00:22:54.940 Of the universe
00:22:55.480 And even Gentiles 1.00
00:22:56.700 The wise men
00:22:57.420 From the east
00:22:57.980 With visit
00:22:59.200 With gifts
00:22:59.840 But their joy
00:23:01.560 Was to be mingled
00:23:02.340 With pain
00:23:02.840 The angel
00:23:04.520 Warned St. Joseph
00:23:05.380 To flee
00:23:06.040 With the mother
00:23:07.140 And child
00:23:07.680 To Egypt
00:23:08.240 Because of
00:23:09.520 King Herod's 0.94
00:23:10.300 Attempt to kill him
00:23:11.220 And the Holy Family
00:23:12.680 Lived in exile
00:23:13.480 In Egypt
00:23:13.980 Knowing of the
00:23:15.400 Massacre of the
00:23:16.020 Holy Innocents
00:23:16.640 But they would
00:23:17.680 Travel every year
00:23:18.740 To the temple
00:23:19.440 In Jerusalem
00:23:20.060 And when his
00:23:22.560 Parents took him
00:23:23.260 When he was
00:23:23.640 Twelve years old
00:23:24.440 To the temple
00:23:25.620 But having reached
00:23:26.860 The age where
00:23:27.640 He would be able
00:23:28.480 To travel with the men
00:23:29.700 Rather than with the 0.97
00:23:30.700 Women as did 0.98
00:23:31.540 Young children
00:23:32.140 Jesus was left
00:23:33.100 Behind accidentally
00:23:34.260 The sorrow of
00:23:35.960 Joseph and Mary
00:23:36.800 In searching for him
00:23:37.740 For days
00:23:38.560 Was alleviated
00:23:39.460 At their finding him
00:23:40.780 In the temple
00:23:41.380 Asking the learned
00:23:42.820 Men of the temple
00:23:43.640 Questions which
00:23:44.620 Astounded those
00:23:45.640 Wise men
00:23:46.140 And taught them
00:23:47.560 After this
00:23:49.180 Jesus went home
00:23:50.080 With them to Nazareth 0.86
00:23:51.120 And was a good
00:23:52.400 Holy and obedient
00:23:53.280 Child
00:23:53.720 Oh the joy
00:23:55.240 Of that household
00:23:56.000 A joy
00:23:57.080 Though tinged
00:23:58.080 With suffering
00:23:58.620 Because St. Joseph
00:24:00.440 Would die
00:24:01.100 Of course a happy 0.97
00:24:02.440 And holy death
00:24:03.180 Between Jesus and Mary 0.97
00:24:04.380 But definitely
00:24:05.300 For Jesus and Mary
00:24:06.400 Tinged with suffering
00:24:07.840 At thirty years old
00:24:10.200 Jesus would begin 0.72
00:24:11.420 His public ministry
00:24:12.340 Going for baptism
00:24:13.620 To his cousin
00:24:14.440 John the Baptist
00:24:15.120 And from there
00:24:16.180 To fasting in the desert
00:24:17.420 Choosing his apostles
00:24:18.580 And preaching
00:24:19.200 And teaching
00:24:19.760 And performing miracles
00:24:20.860 Slowly revealing himself
00:24:22.900 To Israel 0.88
00:24:23.540 As the Messiah
00:24:24.280 After three years
00:24:26.380 He would have
00:24:26.980 The last supper
00:24:27.600 With his apostles
00:24:28.340 Establishing the
00:24:29.420 Blessed Sacrament
00:24:30.100 And directly after that
00:24:31.920 Enter the Garden
00:24:32.740 Of Gethsemane
00:24:33.500 Where he commenced
00:24:34.560 His agony
00:24:35.220 He begged his apostles
00:24:37.280 To pray with him
00:24:38.040 But they fell asleep
00:24:39.340 Let us at least now
00:24:41.120 Keep him company
00:24:41.940 As he sweats blood
00:24:42.900 In the garden
00:24:43.460 Alone
00:24:44.160 Before one of his own
00:24:46.140 Beloved apostles
00:24:46.980 Comes to betray him
00:24:47.960 With a kiss
00:24:48.480 Judas comes
00:24:50.260 With the temple guards
00:24:51.320 And Jesus asks them
00:24:52.760 Whom they are seeking
00:24:53.880 And when they reply
00:24:54.780 Jesus of Nazareth
00:24:55.720 Of Nazareth
00:24:56.840 He responds
00:24:57.640 I am he
00:24:58.400 And they all
00:24:59.860 Fall down
00:25:00.760 Jesus performs
00:25:02.340 This miracle
00:25:02.960 Even in the midst
00:25:03.780 Of his capture
00:25:04.420 Demonstrating his power
00:25:06.160 So that we might know
00:25:07.340 That he surrendered himself
00:25:09.100 Of his own free will
00:25:11.360 When the apostle Peter
00:25:13.700 Draws his sword
00:25:14.440 And strikes
00:25:15.020 At the servant
00:25:15.860 Of the high priest 0.91
00:25:16.620 Cutting off his ear
00:25:17.420 Jesus heals
00:25:18.820 Malchus' ear
00:25:19.680 And is taken away
00:25:21.260 By the guards
00:25:21.820 As all his apostles
00:25:23.520 Run away
00:25:24.120 One of them
00:25:25.080 In such a fright
00:25:25.820 That he runs away
00:25:26.780 Leaving his clothing
00:25:27.620 Behind as a guard
00:25:28.580 Grabbed his outer garment
00:25:30.240 Jesus is brought
00:25:32.960 Bound before
00:25:33.780 The governor Pilate
00:25:34.740 And he questions him
00:25:36.400 But finds no fault
00:25:37.460 In him whatsoever
00:25:38.120 But the Jews 1.00
00:25:39.080 Demand his death 0.98
00:25:40.040 And Pilate 0.99
00:25:41.280 Thinks to have him
00:25:42.100 Scourged
00:25:42.700 So as to set him free 0.98
00:25:43.980 Without having to kill him
00:25:44.960 And he is scourged 0.99
00:25:47.040 Brutally
00:25:47.860 By his stripes
00:25:49.940 We are healed
00:25:51.160 As Isaiah prophesied
00:25:53.420 After this savage scourging
00:25:56.500 He is mocked
00:25:57.600 And crowned with thorns
00:25:58.520 By the soldiers
00:25:59.240 Who spit in his face 0.86
00:26:00.680 And beat him 0.66
00:26:01.340 On his thorn-crowned head 0.99
00:26:03.020 With a reed
00:26:03.780 Driving those thorns 0.99
00:26:05.040 Into his skull 0.99
00:26:05.800 The man of sorrows
00:26:08.020 Is brought back to Pilate 1.00
00:26:09.300 And Pilate resolves
00:26:10.940 To release him
00:26:11.580 But the Jews 1.00
00:26:12.340 Threaten to denounce
00:26:13.380 Pilate to Caesar
00:26:14.500 And Pilate then
00:26:16.120 Washes his hands
00:26:17.200 Of the matter
00:26:17.660 Before them all
00:26:18.480 And hands Jesus
00:26:19.840 Over to be crucified
00:26:21.320 Jesus takes up
00:26:23.460 His cross himself
00:26:24.420 Despite his mortal injuries
00:26:26.200 But is nonetheless beaten
00:26:27.840 As he makes his way
00:26:29.160 To the top of Calvary
00:26:30.440 Shouldering the heavy burden
00:26:33.340 Of our sins
00:26:34.260 His meeting with his holy mother
00:26:36.720 On the way of the cross 0.90
00:26:38.040 Reminds us that
00:26:38.880 She will be there for us too
00:26:40.220 As we carry our crosses
00:26:41.420 So that he would not die
00:26:44.480 On the way
00:26:45.000 Soldiers ask Simon of Cyrene
00:26:46.940 To carry the cross after him
00:26:48.240 May we like Simon
00:26:49.940 Grow to love
00:26:50.880 To take up our crosses
00:26:51.800 And follow him
00:26:52.540 In the midst
00:26:54.220 Of his unspeakable suffering
00:26:55.920 He comforts the women
00:26:57.480 Who are bewailing him
00:26:58.780 Telling them not to cry for him
00:27:00.200 But to cry for themselves
00:27:01.640 And for their children
00:27:02.600 Arriving at the top of Calgary
00:27:05.460 Called Golgotha
00:27:06.580 Jesus is nailed to the cross
00:27:08.220 Heavy nails are driven
00:27:10.100 Into his hands and feet
00:27:11.400 And the cross is mounted
00:27:13.480 Where he is to hang
00:27:14.780 For three hours 0.97
00:27:15.740 As he suffocates
00:27:16.920 For love of us
00:27:17.740 And to open the gates
00:27:19.380 Of heaven
00:27:19.840 Closed to us sinners
00:27:21.800 He shows us the example
00:27:23.920 Of forgiveness
00:27:24.440 As he begs the Father
00:27:25.880 For the salvation
00:27:26.680 Of his very tormentors
00:27:28.220 He offers one of the thieves
00:27:30.620 Who were crucified
00:27:31.600 Beside him salvation
00:27:32.940 As Dismas begs him
00:27:34.940 Remember me
00:27:36.220 When you come into your kingdom
00:27:37.340 He says
00:27:38.840 This day you will be
00:27:40.640 With me in paradise
00:27:41.680 And before giving up
00:27:44.180 His spirit to the Father
00:27:45.240 Jesus gives us
00:27:46.240 One last great gift
00:27:47.640 Giving us his mother
00:27:49.080 For ours
00:27:49.700 Son behold your mother
00:27:51.960 Mother behold your son
00:27:54.240 With St. John
00:27:56.280 Let us from this hour
00:27:57.380 Take Mary into our homes 0.85
00:27:59.300 Then Jesus dies
00:28:01.620 Father into thy hands
00:28:04.060 I commend my spirit
00:28:05.340 There is an immense earthquake
00:28:08.760 The veil of the temple
00:28:09.880 Is torn in two
00:28:10.700 Bodies rise from the graves
00:28:12.400 And pandemonium strikes
00:28:14.140 Later Jesus' body
00:28:16.960 Is taken down from the cross
00:28:18.280 And laid in a tomb
00:28:19.580 It is sealed tight
00:28:21.780 And the Jews demand 1.00
00:28:22.660 A retinue of soldiers
00:28:23.780 To guard it
00:28:24.480 Assuming that his followers
00:28:25.680 May steal away his body
00:28:26.820 As Easter Sunday dawns
00:28:30.040 The Christ rises from the dead
00:28:31.680 The angels roll back the stone
00:28:33.520 Protecting the tomb
00:28:34.560 And the soldiers lie there
00:28:36.020 Like dead men
00:28:36.800 He appears to his mother 0.88
00:28:38.580 To Mary Magdalene
00:28:39.960 But the apostles
00:28:41.920 Do not believe it
00:28:42.840 Even when they see
00:28:43.840 The empty tomb
00:28:44.580 But Jesus finally
00:28:46.140 Appears to them
00:28:46.980 Chiding them
00:28:48.000 For their unbelief
00:28:48.840 And since Thomas
00:28:50.260 Was not there
00:28:50.940 On that first appearance
00:28:51.920 In the upper room
00:28:52.880 And remained incredulous
00:28:54.480 Jesus appears again
00:28:55.680 Telling Thomas
00:28:56.320 To put his fingers
00:28:57.140 Into his wounds
00:28:58.180 And Thomas falls
00:28:59.600 To his knees
00:29:00.240 Exclaiming
00:29:00.960 My Lord and my God
00:29:02.760 Just as we do
00:29:04.860 When we see our Lord
00:29:05.720 Elevated in the Holy Eucharist
00:29:07.120 Jesus gives them
00:29:09.620 The power of forgiving sins
00:29:10.960 And confession
00:29:11.520 He eats with them
00:29:12.760 To prove his reality
00:29:13.740 He appears even
00:29:14.800 To 500 people
00:29:16.000 At one time
00:29:16.660 He consoles
00:29:17.740 And strengthens
00:29:18.800 And teaches them
00:29:19.820 To get them ready
00:29:20.920 To continue his church
00:29:22.420 Forty days after
00:29:24.760 His resurrection
00:29:25.360 Jesus tells the apostles
00:29:26.760 To meet him
00:29:27.440 On the Mount of Olives
00:29:28.560 Where he gives them
00:29:29.580 The Great Commission
00:29:30.320 Telling them
00:29:31.520 To go into all the world
00:29:32.920 And make disciples
00:29:33.860 Of all nations
00:29:34.620 Baptizing them
00:29:35.680 In the name of the Father
00:29:37.040 And of the Son
00:29:38.220 And of the Holy Spirit
00:29:39.760 And while he is still speaking
00:29:42.420 He ascends into heaven
00:29:43.600 And they look up
00:29:44.800 Until a cloud
00:29:45.600 Obscures him from sight
00:29:46.920 He now sits
00:29:48.840 At the right hand of God
00:29:50.020 From where he will come
00:29:51.800 To judge the living
00:29:52.780 And the dead
00:29:53.380 Meanwhile
00:29:55.100 The apostles remain afraid
00:29:56.620 They gather with Our Lady
00:29:58.380 In the upper room
00:29:59.180 Where they had this
00:30:00.160 Last supper
00:30:00.920 To pray
00:30:01.720 And they pray fervently
00:30:03.440 For nine days
00:30:04.260 With Our Lady
00:30:04.820 It is the first Novena
00:30:06.720 And then comes
00:30:08.060 The Holy Spirit
00:30:08.780 The Holy Spirit
00:30:10.400 Descends down
00:30:11.420 On each of them
00:30:12.360 And they are filled
00:30:13.520 With the Holy Spirit
00:30:14.380 Fear is cast out
00:30:16.000 And they begin to proclaim
00:30:17.140 The wondrous works of God
00:30:18.520 They go out
00:30:19.340 To the assembled people
00:30:20.400 Who had heard
00:30:21.140 The great noise
00:30:21.900 And Peter proclaims
00:30:23.480 The truth of Christ crucified
00:30:24.780 And his resurrection
00:30:25.820 And his proclamation
00:30:27.160 Is supported
00:30:27.880 By the miracle
00:30:28.860 Of his speaking
00:30:29.820 So that all men 1.00
00:30:31.060 From different lands
00:30:32.040 Could understand him
00:30:33.020 In their own languages
00:30:34.040 And that day
00:30:36.320 Three thousand
00:30:37.040 Are baptized
00:30:37.780 This launch
00:30:39.960 Of the church 0.92
00:30:40.540 Continues
00:30:41.200 But even here
00:30:42.460 This glorious time
00:30:44.120 It is the sting
00:30:46.120 Of hardship
00:30:46.820 And even martyrdom
00:30:48.020 As the church
00:30:48.780 Faces persecution
00:30:49.740 With the first martyrdom
00:30:52.120 Of St. Stephen
00:30:52.780 And more and more
00:30:54.120 To come
00:30:54.580 Years later
00:30:56.500 The mother of God
00:30:57.380 Is to go
00:30:58.300 To her eternal rest
00:30:59.560 To her true home
00:31:00.920 To the everlasting
00:31:02.000 Loving embrace
00:31:02.780 Of her son
00:31:03.300 She is assumed
00:31:05.040 Into heaven
00:31:05.520 By angels
00:31:06.180 And while the home
00:31:07.560 Of St. John
00:31:08.240 Is without her
00:31:08.980 Physical presence
00:31:09.760 And I'm sure
00:31:11.020 His heart broke
00:31:11.800 The truth is
00:31:13.340 That she was then
00:31:14.280 Able to be
00:31:15.160 For all of us
00:31:16.380 The advocate
00:31:17.100 With her son
00:31:17.740 Show thyself
00:31:20.200 A mother
00:31:20.580 May the word divine
00:31:22.380 Born for us
00:31:23.240 Thy infant
00:31:23.900 Hear our prayers
00:31:25.300 Through thine
00:31:26.400 And finally
00:31:28.260 We see
00:31:28.840 In her assumption
00:31:30.100 And coronation
00:31:31.320 Our own
00:31:32.180 Final destiny
00:31:33.060 Our bodies
00:31:34.840 Too at the last day
00:31:35.920 Will rise from the dead
00:31:37.100 And join our souls
00:31:38.380 In everlasting glory
00:31:39.860 Should we stay true
00:31:41.380 To the love of Jesus
00:31:42.300 The king of kings
00:31:44.440 Crowns his holy mother
00:31:45.720 The queen of heaven
00:31:47.180 And earth
00:31:47.600 Of men
00:31:48.520 And angels
00:31:49.100 Of patriarchs
00:31:50.120 And prophets
00:31:50.620 Of apostles
00:31:51.560 And martyrs
00:31:52.380 I am all thine
00:31:54.680 My dear mistress
00:31:55.440 With all that I have
00:31:56.820 I take thee
00:31:58.300 For my all
00:31:58.960 Please give me
00:32:00.540 Thy heart
