00:03:45.680 I think you are right. The Ugandan martyrs contributed a great deal to the spread of the gospel on the continent.

00:04:03.880 Can you tell us a little bit about their story, particularly about, you know,

00:04:08.160 they were sort of propositioned by the king, as far as I understand,

00:04:11.100 and they resisted that because they knew that it was such behaviors were wrong,

00:04:16.120 according to the Catholic Church, which they were just coming into. Is that correct?

00:04:19.220 Oh, yes, they had the problems with the then kings of Puganda,

00:04:28.180 and the major role they played was to refuse to adhere to non-Christian behavior.
