The John-Henry Westen Show - Supernatural Evidence brings Catholics BACK to Church

00:00:00.000 If I knew you, I'd come over there, I'd plug it in, and people would always say the same thing.

00:00:03.920 How come I've never heard of this? That's amazing!

00:00:14.520 Hey, my friends. We have a fascinating show for you today.

00:00:17.820 There's a fellow who has a radical conversion story,

00:00:20.980 but the conversion story happens in a very mundane way in that it's exactly what you normally do.

00:00:27.240 He's raised a Catholic by really good parents, and then falls away, leaves the faith,

00:00:32.520 and joins an evangelical church, and then gets sent a miraculous video.

00:00:39.640 No kidding, an actual miraculous video that speaks to him in a way that brings him back.

00:00:45.700 And now he's an apostle. Tim, so good to be with you.

00:00:47.920 Beautiful. So glad to be with you, John. So glad. So great for your apostolate, and so happy to share this message.

00:00:53.000 Awesome. Let's begin as we always do with the sign of the cross.

00:00:54.900 In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

00:00:59.680 So, Tim, many people won't be familiar with your story,

00:01:03.480 so why don't you give us sort of the nutshell version of your conversion?

00:01:07.720 You bet, 100%. I grew up in a small town in Ohio,

00:01:11.340 and it's about 5,000 people, John, like everybody knew everybody.

00:01:15.260 I was one of six. There's five boys and a girl.

00:01:17.820 No Catholic school there, so I just went to secular school,

00:01:20.940 but we went to Catholic Mass. We had to. Mom and Dad, very, very faithful.

00:01:25.160 And, you know, very orderly. I got no horror stories.

00:01:28.100 And I went off to college like a lot of kids.

00:01:30.700 I started getting into the bars with a fake ID of my brothers when I was like 15.

00:01:35.900 And, you know, I still remember his Social Security number.

00:01:38.560 I tell him, you know, I still got it, Mike.

00:01:40.420 But I went out to Ohio State, and just big university, like so people can,

00:01:45.600 and I just thought, this is awesome.

00:01:47.320 And I tell people my feast days were, you know, I didn't know about feast days.

00:01:50.860 My feast days were Ohio State, Michigan football, right?

00:01:53.780 I lived from working out, football.

00:01:56.120 I wasn't on a football team at Ohio State.

00:01:57.960 I did play in high school.

00:01:58.880 But, you know, just that whole deal.

00:02:01.100 And did a lot of partying, but right at the end of my college years,

00:02:03.820 I got introduced to cocaine, and I'd never been around drugs my whole life.

00:02:07.180 I mean, I was a health nut, still am, but it just happened.

00:02:11.520 I was working at a bar, and they introduced me to it, and out of curiosity, really.

00:02:15.840 And that sent me, at the end of my college years,

00:02:18.060 I was just about to graduate on a tailspin.

00:02:20.400 So, you know, looking back, and I have a book I just wrote, which I'm not a writer.

00:02:24.380 I was asked for years to do this, called From the Crack House to God's House,

00:02:28.080 literally, From the Crack House to God's House, The Power of a Mother's Prayer.

00:02:31.560 So, anyways, what happened is I went down to Texas, and I was chasing money,

00:02:35.740 a business opportunity.

00:02:37.180 I met my wife in a bar.

00:02:38.660 My wife has no religious background, zero.

00:02:41.840 And we got invited to, you know, eventually as we were dating and we were going to get married,

00:02:47.260 we got invited to a big mega church down in Texas called Fellowship Church.

00:02:50.700 It's truly the grand poobah of mega churches,

00:02:53.640 and the idea, it's been all over the news for 20 years for creativity.

00:02:57.600 20,000 people.

00:02:58.900 I'd never seen something like this.

00:03:00.440 And today they're common.

00:03:01.560 But I thought, this, I can't believe this is church.

00:03:03.560 My wife loved it.

00:03:05.220 And so we kind of went from what I would say the bar scene to the Bible scene.

00:03:09.820 I got, like, I just dove in.

00:03:11.960 I mean, I didn't, I was thinking, how do I even know Jesus is real?

00:03:15.940 Like, how do I know it's not a Santa Claus story?

00:03:17.960 Because, you know, come on, I've bought into a lot of things before.

00:03:21.000 And so people started giving me books like Evidence that Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell

00:03:26.500 and, of course, The Case for Christ and things like that.

00:03:29.580 So I got real excited that there actually could be, this could be real,

00:03:33.780 that Jesus was not some made-up story.

00:03:36.000 And not to be rude, but I had better things to do with my time, that was my mindset,

00:03:39.980 than to go spend a weekend, listen to a guy talk about a bunch of stuff that might not be real, right?

00:03:44.720 So at the same time period, I called my mom and I said, hey, mom, I'm going to church.

00:03:51.200 Now, I thought my mom would be happy.

00:03:52.400 My mom's kind of like a Mother Teresa kind of lady. 0.92

00:03:54.820 And she said, do they have a mass?

00:03:57.560 And I literally didn't know that language, okay?

00:04:00.940 I hadn't, I didn't go to Catholic school, so I didn't, like, do they have a mass?

00:04:05.360 Like, let me check into it.

00:04:06.360 That's kind of my mindset, right?

00:04:07.640 Now, I'm kind of like a sports football guy at this time, not a Bible guy, right?

00:04:11.500 And she said, I just want you to know what you're giving up.

00:04:14.000 Now, I hadn't been going to church for years consistently anyways, but I love my mom.

00:04:18.140 And I said, okay.

00:04:18.820 So she started sending me tapes.

00:04:21.900 And I'm sure some of your listeners are familiar with the Journey Home Show by Marcus Grodi with the conversion stories.

00:04:28.700 So I went on this big quest to figure out which version of Christianity is most biblical historical.

00:04:35.860 Like, you know, I didn't go to seminary.

00:04:37.240 So I said, okay, I need to have really smart people like John Henry on one side and the opposing views on the other side and have debates.

00:04:46.340 So I don't know.

00:04:47.760 I'm sure you know who Father Mitch Pacwa is.

00:04:50.500 He was at my house because he used to teach at UD, University of Dallas.

00:04:54.320 And so I had leaders.

00:04:55.820 I had Tim Staples.

00:04:56.700 He was at my house.

00:04:57.520 They were debating the leaders of a church called Denton Bible Church.

00:05:02.300 So I started listening to debates, listening to debates.

00:05:05.300 And I learned the Catholic faith by listening to debates because I wanted to hear the best of both arguments.

00:05:10.860 So here's where the supernatural element comes in.

00:05:16.160 I decided by listening to these debates for a year or more that the Catholic Church absolutely was the most biblical and historical of the Christian faiths.

00:05:26.500 And I listened to the best arguments against the Catholic Church, and I still do. 0.98

00:05:30.860 But my wife didn't want anything to do with it. 1.00

00:05:32.640 And it wasn't theology.

00:05:33.940 It was relationship.

00:05:34.880 We went from the bar scene to the Bible scene, and we had great friends.

00:05:39.560 It was awesome, right?

00:05:40.940 Virtue-driven people.

00:05:42.320 So it was a tough, tough deal.

00:05:44.300 But along that same time period, my mother, and it keeps going back to my mom, she sent me another tape.

00:05:49.900 It was on Fox.

00:05:50.960 And this is what you were alluding to.

00:05:52.760 29 million people watched this, and I'm sure you can show them a clip of this right now.

00:05:57.860 I mean to tell you, when I say nothing like this has ever been filmed, according to the father of Australian investigative journalism,

00:06:05.440 I call him the Mike Wallace of Australia, or the people of the United States,

00:06:09.840 he was an atheist.

00:06:12.060 He didn't believe in God. 0.53

00:06:13.060 He hated the Catholic Church with a passion.

00:06:15.700 And he investigates this over many years with Ron Tissarero.

00:06:20.100 And they filmed this lady predicting and having a stigmata, the wounds of Christ. 0.55

00:06:24.540 Let me just kind of slow down.

00:06:26.840 You got to know where I was.

00:06:28.260 I didn't go to Catholic school, John.

00:06:30.080 So it would be like if somebody sent you a tape of Bigfoot.

00:06:33.840 I just couldn't believe I was witnessing somebody have the wounds of Christ.

00:06:39.300 Now, because, see, remember, I'd already read evidence that demands a verdict, the case for Christ.

00:06:45.360 So I intellectually knew there was historical evidence for Jesus.

00:06:49.640 I understood the apologetics behind the Catholic faith.

00:06:53.000 But what happened is there was an issue for me.

00:06:56.060 When I started going back to the Catholic Church in the early 2000s, it was like I remember.

00:07:00.080 People would come late and leave early.

00:07:02.120 And I couldn't even find a Bible study in the early 2000s where I was.

00:07:07.120 But when I was at the big megachurch, they came early and left late.

00:07:10.440 They had 20 home groups.

00:07:12.540 They were really talking about Jesus 24-7.

00:07:15.700 So I had this question.

00:07:17.740 If all this is real, if the Catholic Church is the Church of Christ,

00:07:22.320 why aren't people like on their knees lined up to receive the body and blood of Jesus?

00:07:28.240 Which was the main selling point for me, by the way.

00:07:30.380 So I got this video from my mom.

00:07:34.360 I used to plug it in people's VCR.

00:07:36.060 So it's like if I knew you, remember, I'm not going to Catholic Church.

00:07:39.400 If I knew you, I'd come over there, I'd plug it in, I'd plug it in.

00:07:42.520 And people would always say the same thing.

00:07:44.800 How come I've never heard of this?

00:07:46.680 That's amazing.

00:07:48.100 By the way, people still say that.

00:07:49.980 When they watch the video that you'll show them, they still say that.

00:07:52.980 They can watch the whole show on my website, which I'm sure you'll give them.

00:07:55.940 I lose the tape.

00:07:56.780 I'm going to the Catholic Church eventually, intellectually.

00:08:00.640 And my wife didn't want to be Catholic. 1.00

00:08:02.400 So we were going to the mega church and the Catholic Church.

00:08:05.140 And I think you'll appreciate this.

00:08:07.200 My son, who's now almost 24, he was probably eight or nine.

00:08:12.640 He used to say, are we going to the fun church or the boring church, right?

00:08:15.880 Oh, yeah, but today, brother, he prefers the Latin only mass.

00:08:23.620 That's my son.

00:08:24.420 He wants the reverence, you see.

00:08:27.100 And so anyways, here's what happens.

00:08:28.960 My mother dies and it's in my book. 0.86

00:08:30.720 It's a sudden tragic deal.

00:08:33.000 So literally 10 years after my mom gave me the tape, I still don't know what it means.

00:08:39.120 I don't even know that stigmata is connected to the Catholic Church.

00:08:42.120 You understand?

00:08:42.520 I literally just thought, see, I had the biblical and historical evidence for Jesus, but now I felt I had supernatural evidence.

00:08:51.500 And that's what excited me.

00:08:52.820 I was quite a doubting Thomas because I'd seen so much being in cells and everything.

00:08:57.860 I didn't know what to believe, to be frank with you.

00:09:01.020 So then here's amazing what happened.

00:09:02.680 I really think this is a huge miracle.

00:09:05.000 Some guy who I used to kind of party with, he doesn't even go to church.

00:09:08.700 He calls me out of the blue in 2009 and he says, yo, Tim, I was cleaning out my house and you left a tape there because I thought you might want it.

00:09:18.660 And I got there and it was my mom's VCR tape of the show.

00:09:22.140 See, she had died.

00:09:23.340 And so I go, there's mom on the other side pushing me to this.

00:09:27.960 There's no book.

00:09:28.580 There's no website, man.

00:09:29.740 There's nothing.

00:09:30.280 There's no part two.

00:09:31.700 So in 2009, I Google and I find who you interviewed, Ron Tessarero.

00:09:36.520 I find his book was launched in 2007.

00:09:39.380 He's written three books, but it's the second.

00:09:41.160 It was his first book called Reason to Believe.

00:09:43.540 And I said, this is it.

00:09:45.400 This is what I'm wanting.

00:09:46.800 This is what my mom is pushing me to.

00:09:48.840 This is what God wants me to know.

00:09:50.740 So I get older, Ron.

00:09:51.720 He sends me everything he's got.

00:09:53.660 And after that, John, I started going to daily mass in 2009.

00:09:58.440 It's never stopped.

00:09:59.200 I started praying to rosary, going to holy hour.

00:10:01.600 I mean, all the things my mom probably would have liked me to do when she was alive.

00:10:05.740 What was it in the book that turned you around to daily mass, daily rosary and all that?

00:10:10.980 Because that's from the point of belief to practice in such a sincere and full way.

00:10:18.640 What did that for you?

00:10:20.400 Oh, yes.

00:10:21.680 I'm glad you asked that question because, in fact, the lady who has the stigmata and this lady, she's been getting messages. 0.98

00:10:30.080 You interviewed Ron Tessarero about her, I'm sure.

00:10:32.780 And her name is Catalina Rivas.

00:10:34.400 She's been under the church's guidance from the beginning.

00:10:37.420 And Ron literally filmed her writing for an hour straight without pausing one time.

00:10:43.300 Now, she never finished seventh grade, right?

00:10:45.500 And she only speaks Spanish.

00:10:46.820 And she writes in Latin, Greek, Polish, and Italian.

00:10:49.500 And her archbishop said, these are not just pious words from a pious person.

00:10:54.520 That's her archbishop.

00:10:55.740 He said, no, these are words from Christ.

00:10:58.680 So when you ask what changed, what may change, I was curious.

00:11:02.720 I wanted to read.

00:11:04.020 What the heck is she writing, this lady who has the stigmata?

00:11:07.420 And when I read it, it said, Jesus told her, he said, you are my apostle of the Eucharist.

00:11:14.580 I have never given anybody more on the Eucharist than you.

00:11:18.720 Now, I've known about this Eucharistic revival since 2009 because I was reading the books.

00:11:24.940 And so as I read the books, everything cleared up for me.

00:11:29.040 What do I mean?

00:11:30.240 I had that question.

00:11:31.260 Remember, when I was going to the megachurch and the Catholic Church, it was, why aren't people taking an advantage of what, according to Scott Hahn and all these great apologists, is the body and blood of Jesus?

00:11:44.060 And that hit me when I read the books.

00:11:46.180 It seems obvious.

00:11:47.600 But what hit me was, oh, my gosh, most people are unaware.

00:11:52.440 Most people don't know about it.

00:11:54.100 In fact, the large percentage of, quote, unquote, Catholics are not taking advantage of it. 0.76

00:11:58.860 How do I know that?

00:11:59.760 Because 70% or 80% of them are missing mass, right?

00:12:03.600 And they're not going to confession.

00:12:05.780 And I'm not even getting into they're bad or they're going to go to hell.

00:12:08.860 It's not my point.

00:12:09.540 My point is they're not taking advantage of the gifts and they're not even aware of it.

00:12:14.600 And so when I read those messages, first of all, I challenge anybody to read two pages and put it down.

00:12:23.140 You won't be able to.

00:12:24.260 And there's a book that I had put together by a Baptist.

00:12:31.360 And it's the most Catholic book you can ever imagine.

00:12:33.840 He's been a book publisher for 30 years.

00:12:36.160 And he said, these are these are words from God, Tim.

00:12:39.420 And I said, amen.

00:12:40.420 So he just put it together.

00:12:41.860 It's on my website called Jesus Speaks.

00:12:44.260 And it's seven of her books in one.

00:12:47.360 And it's starting with the Holy Mass.

00:12:50.540 And then it gets into the Passion.

00:12:52.080 You want to get the best commentary on the last seven sayings of Jesus on the cross?

00:12:57.280 Now, I've listened to Scott Hahn.

00:12:58.700 I love Scott Hahn.

00:12:59.820 But can I just be frank and nothing personal, Scott?

00:13:02.500 This lady who never finished seventh grade, her little book that's in that book called Jesus Speaks,

00:13:09.600 The Last Seven Sayings of Jesus, it blows it away.

00:13:12.220 It's the best commentary I've ever read on the last seven sayings of Jesus.

00:13:15.460 And so when you read those, you want to go to Mass.

00:13:20.140 It's not fun.

00:13:20.940 It's not supposed to be fun, as you'd hope.

00:13:22.540 It's a sacrifice.

00:13:23.620 But you want the same way I used to work out.

00:13:26.580 And I still do my whole life.

00:13:28.000 You don't go working out your first year working out because it's fun.

00:13:31.240 You go because you have a goal in mind, right?

00:13:33.180 I'm going to play football.

00:13:34.160 I'm going to do this.

00:13:35.360 And the same with this.

00:13:36.160 And I know I'm preaching to the choir with you.

00:13:38.480 But yeah, man, just everything in there was directing me back to the heart of worship.

00:13:43.180 The sacrifice of the Mass, the idea that Jesus' heart was suffering.

00:13:47.820 You interviewed Ron Tessarero about Eucharistic miracles.

00:13:51.220 Why is the host bleeding?

00:13:53.680 Guess what, John?

00:13:55.280 Jesus answers it in there, right?

00:13:57.860 This is the same person, Ron, who interviewed this lady who filmed her half the stigmata.

00:14:04.300 He's the same one that, as you know, did the primary investigation into the Eucharistic miracle of Buenos Aires.

00:14:10.100 It's all tied together.

00:14:11.660 For U.S. residents, creating a will has never been easier.

00:14:53.500 This is your website.

00:14:54.440 Yes, it's nothing fancy, but Science Tests is plural.

00:15:09.660 I wrote a book called From the Crack House to God's House,

00:15:12.460 and it's the story of my mother praying me back into the church, and you see it visibly.

00:15:16.720 And I also, of course, promote Ron's book, Ron Tessarero, My Human Heart.

00:15:20.820 That's what's got me started down this road.

00:15:22.520 And you will see the lady have the stigmata.

00:15:28.180 Never been filmed before in human history, ever, never, from beginning until end.

00:15:33.040 And it's that show that my mom sent me is on my website, where you can just watch it, you know what I mean?

00:15:37.840 If you ever want to see something where you actually watch the wounds appear and disappear,

00:15:44.200 it is absolutely stunning.

00:15:46.840 The Testimony of Ron, he was with, just to stress that point, he was with Mike Willisey.

00:15:52.300 Who is it today?

00:15:53.520 Tucker Carlson, if you will, or Megyn Kelly.

00:15:57.080 Absolutely.

00:15:57.560 Like, that's who he was back then.

00:15:59.160 He's huge.

00:15:59.960 It was Megyn Kelly and Tucker before they were cancelled from Fox, even.

00:16:02.900 Like, the top of the top, but as you said, Tim, he hated the faith, and he went to disprove it.

00:16:09.900 Very much in history, we have this happen over and over again,

00:16:13.060 where you have, like, at Fatima.

00:16:16.340 At Fatima, and we're actually taping this, interestingly, on the feast of, or the 20th anniversary of the death of Sister Lucy.

00:16:24.960 But it's interesting because the whole reason why the Miracle of the Sun was seen on video and with cameras

00:16:33.560 is because the communist leadership of Portugal at the time, and especially of the area at the time,

00:16:40.420 wanted to disprove Catholicism, wanted to make fun of those little kids, 1.00

00:16:45.460 and shame Catholicism into non-existence because he hated the faith.

00:16:50.080 And so he brought every single reporter from, like, all the place around to come and witness this,

00:16:56.980 which he thought was going to permanently disprove Catholicism.

00:17:00.180 It's beautiful.

00:17:01.600 I love it.

00:17:01.980 Because here in Mike Willessi's case, again, same deal, 1.00

00:17:05.900 going to disprove this idiot Catholicism. 1.00

00:17:09.360 And sure enough, it comes back with, oh my gosh, it's true. 1.00

00:17:13.800 It's true.

00:17:14.120 And you mentioned Fatima, it's interesting because the first time, it's going to blow you away,

00:17:19.120 the first time I ever heard about Fatima, my friend, was when I read Ron's book in 2009.

00:17:24.920 See, in that book, this is what I learned.

00:17:27.380 I learned about Fatima.

00:17:28.520 I learned about Our Lady of Guadalupe.

00:17:30.320 I learned about the Shroud of Turin.

00:17:31.860 I learned about St. Padre Pio, St. Margaret Mary.

00:17:34.680 I learned about Eucharistic Miracles, the Stigmata, Redemptive Suffering.

00:17:38.440 I was overwhelmed.

00:17:39.760 And one more thing about Mike Willessi.

00:17:44.540 You know, there was a guy named Muhammad Ali, and he was going to fight Joe Frazier for the third time.

00:17:50.880 It was the thriller in Manila, right, in Philippines.

00:17:53.580 They had 1,000 credited journalists that were dying to get time with Ali.

00:17:57.940 And you can Google this.

00:17:59.360 You can Google Mike Willessi, Muhammad Ali.

00:18:01.340 And he got the entire week with Ali.

00:18:04.220 And at the end of his life, Ron's interviewing him.

00:18:06.440 And you'll read that in Ron's book.

00:18:07.680 You can get that book from my website, too, My Human Heart.

00:18:10.160 And he's interviewing Mike as he's on his deathbed, literally, dying of throat cancer, Mike Willessi.

00:18:15.780 And Mike says, and I'm paraphrasing, Ron, thank you for turning me on to the biggest story of my life.

00:18:21.820 He wasn't talking about Ali.

00:18:23.460 He was talking about filming this lady have the stigmata.

00:18:26.740 And this is why this is such, it needs to be a huge story.

00:18:29.840 You mentioned Megyn Kelly and Bill O'Reilly.

00:18:31.960 I'm like, Bill, Megyn, listen, there's no bigger story than this.

00:18:36.480 There's not.

00:18:37.700 They just don't know about it.

00:18:39.140 What is life for you like now?

00:18:40.740 What did you go from?

00:18:41.980 You were into sales.

00:18:43.340 What are you doing now?

00:18:44.660 Yeah, I'm glad you asked that.

00:18:46.040 So in 2009, I hosted Mike and Ron.

00:18:49.060 I organized two talks, one in Ohio and one in Texas.

00:18:53.800 Looking back, we didn't plan it.

00:18:55.680 We weren't even going to film it.

00:18:56.940 A guy named Bob Hughes from Love and Mercy filmed it in 2009.

00:19:01.720 And it happened to be on the Blessed Mother's birthday.

00:19:05.180 Now, nobody planned this.

00:19:07.180 And if you watch that video, the original video, it's called Science Test Faith Following

00:19:11.980 the Trail of Christ.

00:19:12.940 I got an old DVD.

00:19:14.180 You see the Blessed Mother statue right behind the speaking podium as though she's blessing

00:19:18.600 Mike.

00:19:19.300 And you don't really see that.

00:19:20.680 Like, even if she's up front, it's not behind.

00:19:22.420 So I'm like, oh, my gosh.

00:19:23.640 Then I find out that the first mystical experience that Catalina Rivas, the stigmatist, ever had

00:19:28.960 was on the Blessed Mother's birthday in 1991.

00:19:32.140 Because as you know, Mary has one job, to bring people to her son.

00:19:35.920 And if you read my book, From the Crack House to God's House, that's what my mom was doing,

00:19:39.820 asking for intercession, praying the rosary for all of her kids, especially me, because

00:19:43.720 I went way off the deep end, right?

00:19:45.880 So what happened?

00:19:46.820 I host them to come.

00:19:48.740 It's overflow.

00:19:50.060 Nobody knows who they are.

00:19:51.200 Nobody knows who I am still, which is fine.

00:19:54.200 And we go, you know, in Texas, it's the largest church in the diocese, and yet people were

00:19:58.580 on the wall, right?

00:20:00.280 So I said, I knew this was a story.

00:20:03.820 And Ron and Mike went back to Australia, and I said, I basically took everything I've

00:20:09.900 learned from all the debates and apologetics, everything I've read at that point in time,

00:20:15.440 as I started to read and still do, from Catalina's messages, and it never ends, and everything

00:20:19.900 from the Bible and the church, and I said, I want to show people, not tell people, show

00:20:24.300 people, the biblical, the historical, and the supernatural proof for the Catholic Church.

00:20:30.940 And so I started to do, I put together a PowerPoint.

00:20:33.420 That was my background, speaking.

00:20:35.240 So I put together a PowerPoint locally.

00:20:38.220 And I don't remember how it happened, because I never meant to start something.

00:20:41.360 When you say an apostolate or a ministry, that would be foreign language to me.

00:20:46.220 I'm like, what do you mean?

00:20:47.500 I didn't even know people did stuff like this full-time.

00:20:49.800 I'm like, how's that possible?

00:20:51.500 So my wife wanted to homeschool, and we spent, and you see this in my book, I got pictures

00:20:56.080 all over.

00:20:56.540 We spent years traveling all over the United States.

00:21:00.020 We do other things financially as well, insurance and mortgage.

00:21:03.000 But traveling the United States in an old conversion van with our kids, from church to church to

00:21:08.200 church, right?

00:21:09.160 And so it's really never stopped in that sense.

00:21:11.880 I go a lot of times with one of them, or maybe myself, and that kind of thing.

00:21:16.600 But literally, I've been traveling all over the United States, and we've barely scratched

00:21:19.840 the surface.

00:21:20.920 So outside of our secular work, this is my main focus, to share this with the world.

00:21:27.760 And I'm frustrated, John, because, and I'm glad I'm on your show, because, like you said

00:21:32.220 before we started talking, nobody knows about this.

00:21:35.320 29 million watch it, to start with.

00:21:38.060 And then you can tell them to your balloon face, but nobody catches this.

00:21:41.620 It's like, it's like the biggest secret, and yet it's staring you in the face. 0.93

00:21:45.780 I'm going to get clobbered by my wife, if I don't ask you. 1.00

00:21:48.720 You said your wife was, like, not into it. 0.97

00:21:51.640 She's obviously Catholic now.

00:21:53.260 How did that happen?

00:21:54.400 You know, she started to see, and she was open to, I remember at one point, she said,

00:21:59.080 can we just not have Mary things in here, you know, in the house and stuff like that?

00:22:03.900 And she used to pray the rosary, and she'd say, Holy Mary, Mother of Jesus, instead of

00:22:09.580 Mother of God, she would say.

00:22:12.160 I think the turning point, when we completely stopped, and it's not one thing I can think

00:22:18.140 of, was when I got the book from Tesserero, and I started reading the messages to my wife

00:22:23.460 out loud.

00:22:24.080 Oh, wow.

00:22:24.280 She could visually see the lady have a stigmata. 0.98

00:22:26.780 She could visually see, and by the way, all of your viewers can go to my website and see

00:22:31.020 her writing and getting messages from Jesus and the stigmata.

00:22:33.840 And she saw that, she saw that it was proved by the church, right?

00:22:38.420 I mean, beyond that, in my opinion, her archbishop made her his executive secretary and had this

00:22:44.280 huge Eucharistic Congress.

00:22:46.020 And so when you read those messages, it became abundantly clear to her that there was a distinct

00:22:51.740 difference.

00:22:52.700 I know that sounds odd to you.

00:22:53.740 Of course there is.

00:22:54.400 But to somebody who's trying to play both sides of the megachurch environment, and that

00:22:58.540 they're all kind of the same thing, she saw clearly the focus on the Eucharist and the

00:23:04.260 Mass and the importance of the Blessed Mother, and the megachurches didn't have that.

00:23:08.540 So that stopped, you know?

00:23:11.160 And so, and then she started, she went to homeschool, she got into a Catholic community, she got around

00:23:16.920 that.

00:23:17.360 I mean, so many influences, right?

00:23:19.120 This story, it irritates so greatly, because I see you mentioned Megyn Kelly and Candace Owens.

00:23:27.080 I'm like, Candace, you're Catholic.

00:23:29.140 There's no bigger story than this, like literally.

00:23:32.100 And I didn't have a book to read back then.

00:23:35.020 Here's the good news.

00:23:35.900 You can watch the show, and then you've got, from the horse's mouth, from Jesus Christ himself,

00:23:41.540 a book called Jesus Speaks.

00:23:43.740 Lights out.

00:23:44.740 I don't care if you're a Catholic, a Protestant, an atheist.

00:23:48.340 If you read that and see that, you have to come to terms with either this is, it's not

00:23:56.360 made up, that's for sure.

00:23:57.920 We know it's real, because we've got evidence galore.

00:24:00.160 So either it's from God or from another spirit.

00:24:02.660 And the good news is, the fruits, and that's how you judge it, all lead people back to what

00:24:07.780 the historic church has always believed, right?

00:24:10.660 The Catholic church.

00:24:12.220 It's just, it's like a pizza, and you don't want to take off the pepperoni.

00:24:16.560 You want to put everything together, the biblical, historical, and the supernatural.

00:24:21.860 And I have to tell you, John, I, as you said, I don't know, most people don't know who I

00:24:25.960 am.

00:24:26.240 I don't even have a social media presence, okay?

00:24:29.220 So, but I'll tell you this, I've got about 10,000 feedback forms.

00:24:34.020 I know what happens.

00:24:35.440 So when I come to a parish, and I'd love to come to any, anybody listening, if you'd like

00:24:39.300 me to come to your parish, I'll tell you right up front, I don't charge a speaking fee,

00:24:43.400 and I just want to get my travel reimbursed, okay?

00:24:45.540 So your pastor will love that.

00:24:46.800 But when we do a presentation, oh my gosh, because we put up big screens, and we show

00:24:53.780 the stigmata, we show that, but it's not just showing stuff.

00:24:57.320 It's called signs from God, miracles, and their meaning.

00:25:00.120 And at the end of the day, what happens is people go, I'm going to daily mass.

00:25:04.160 I'm going to confession.

00:25:05.240 I haven't been for five years, 10 years, 20 years.

00:25:07.480 I'm going to do a holy hour now, and I'm certainly going to pray the rosary.

00:25:10.840 You know what I mean?

00:25:11.180 It becomes real.

00:25:12.460 Pope Pius XI said, men must look for the peace of Christ in the kingdom of Christ.

00:25:20.020 And he urged that the faithful give public honor to Christ the King so that individuals

00:25:24.340 and states would submit once more to the rule of their Savior.

00:25:28.140 And that is why LifeSite News is raising up the image of Christ the King across the United

00:25:33.680 States.

00:25:34.200 And you can help us reach millions more.

00:25:37.340 Please pledge your support today for these billboards at lifefunder.com slash Christ is

00:25:43.840 King.

00:25:45.200 For me, one of the biggest understandings of going to mass and wanting that, or it's almost 0.99

00:25:50.980 like a recognition that how stupid would I have to be not to go to daily mass? 0.63

00:25:54.920 Because if they, I once read a book called One More Mass, and one of the souls comes back 0.98

00:26:01.480 just to give this message that, you know, if he could come back, suffer a whole lifetime

00:26:05.520 of suffering, it would be worth it for one more mass.

00:26:07.480 In the writings of Catalina Rivas, what for you touched you?

00:26:13.900 One of the things that I've heard a lot of people say is, I never knew Jesus suffered

00:26:18.320 when we don't come to him.

00:26:20.540 I didn't know that Jesus is begging us to come to him in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

00:26:26.860 But what was it that struck you?

00:26:28.860 Let me just say that, as you know, it's now, after 15 years of this, it's a compilation

00:26:36.020 of so many different elements that have gotten me deeper and deeper.

00:26:39.560 Like, if you look at a presentation I did back in 2012 compared to now, I mean, I'm so

00:26:45.720 much deeper into the mass now, it's incredible.

00:26:48.180 I mean, I'm learning.

00:26:49.100 It's like, it's never ending, right?

00:26:50.640 I read this book called The Incredible Catholic Mass.

00:26:53.340 It's written in the 1700s.

00:26:56.820 I thought, I'd already been traveling for several years.

00:26:59.740 I thought I knew something.

00:27:00.900 I read the book.

00:27:01.520 I go, I don't know squat.

00:27:03.300 This is amazing.

00:27:04.680 So I'd say specifically about her messages, you hit the nail on the head.

00:27:09.140 Jesus said, I'm a prisoner of love.

00:27:11.220 And he talked about his suffering, just like a father would suffer if their kids are wayward,

00:27:17.360 right?

00:27:18.060 You know, and the big thing for me, I'll do a parallel to working out.

00:27:22.740 If you're going to work out and you want to like get in shape and you want to grow and

00:27:26.460 stuff, you know, for, you know, in my group, we just how much you could bench press and all

00:27:30.660 this kind of stuff.

00:27:31.360 You want to eat a certain way.

00:27:32.640 You want to take some supplements, right?

00:27:34.880 And if somebody said to me, hey, man, we need to have a good week of working out this week,

00:27:39.260 Tim, but I don't want you to eat. 0.79

00:27:41.800 I thought you were nuts.

00:27:43.280 Like, what do you mean not eat? 1.00

00:27:45.280 I'll knock your head off. 1.00

00:27:46.360 I got to eat. 1.00

00:27:47.360 That's how I grow.

00:27:48.320 So the mass, if people can think of it, that that is your supernatural food.

00:27:55.220 So if somebody says, I would never, I mean, of course people fast, but I'm saying on a

00:27:59.520 normal basis, if people said, if in order for me to be productive, I have to physically

00:28:03.480 eat, then if they really understood what the mass was and what the Eucharist was and how

00:28:08.340 Jesus is feeding us, they would never, ever, ever not want to feed their soul, right?

00:28:12.840 If they believe that.

00:28:13.980 And I'm not saying if somebody doesn't go to daily mass, they're a bad person or they

00:28:18.020 don't have belief, but they don't have a full understanding and belief.

00:28:23.440 I believe that because they would not stay away.

00:28:25.900 Now, I say that things always get in your way.

00:28:28.840 It's not a fun, you know, you're not going for fun.

00:28:31.200 It's a discipline, right?

00:28:32.500 Some people might say, I'm not motivated to go to daily mass.

00:28:36.540 And I said, it has nothing to do with motivation.

00:28:38.500 It has to do with willpower.

00:28:39.740 The motivation might come after, right?

00:28:43.100 Six months from now, you'll look back and you'll go, you know, as my dad said, and by

00:28:48.000 the way, my dad, Edwin Joseph Francis died on All Saints Day.

00:28:51.680 I'm getting ready to go back to Ohio to clean out his house.

00:28:54.600 And I talk about him in my book.

00:28:56.100 He hadn't yet died yet.

00:28:57.500 And my dad is a good old farmer kind of guy.

00:28:59.660 And he would say, you know, Tim, looking back, he wasn't a theological guy, but he said,

00:29:03.900 looking back, I think it helped, right?

00:29:05.980 And I'd say it's impossible.

00:29:07.960 Have you read any of her messages, John?

00:29:11.140 Yes, yes.

00:29:11.940 Did you read the Holy Mass?

00:29:13.460 I don't think so.

00:29:14.760 Okay.

00:29:15.200 That's kind of the most popular one, right?

00:29:17.020 And I say popular, still nobody knows about it.

00:29:19.200 But that's the first book in this book called Jesus Speaks.

00:29:22.280 And I'll email it to you.

00:29:23.640 I'd be happy.

00:29:24.240 I mean, you got a million books to read.

00:29:25.660 But somebody reads that, there's no way they do mass the same tomorrow.

00:29:30.460 There's no way.

00:29:31.260 I mean, it's the sacramental life.

00:29:32.680 That's my whole goal, to increase the sacramental and devotional life in the Catholic Church,

00:29:37.700 right?

00:29:38.120 I'll often give this example, especially when I speak to young people.

00:29:41.220 I tell them, how many of you here go to mass every day?

00:29:44.560 Nobody.

00:29:45.860 What about if I told you that I would give you $1,000 every mass you attended, but only

00:29:53.660 if, only if you went every single day of the year to mass?

00:29:58.560 Would you take me up on that challenge?

00:29:59.660 It's 365 days.

00:30:00.920 At the end of it, you're going to get $365,000, guaranteed.

00:30:05.880 How many of you would do it?

00:30:07.360 Every single hand goes up.

00:30:09.560 Every one.

00:30:10.160 But I warn them.

00:30:10.960 I tell them, like, hey, you might get sick one day.

00:30:12.920 You still have to go.

00:30:13.820 It doesn't matter.

00:30:14.520 Tough luck.

00:30:14.980 Go.

00:30:16.020 Every hand is going up.

00:30:17.200 What is that?

00:30:18.220 And then I tell them, oh, wait a minute.

00:30:19.940 The mass the church teaches is of infinite value.

00:30:24.860 So what are we doing?

00:30:26.460 It doesn't make sense to me.

00:30:28.940 I still don't get it.

00:30:30.360 I go to daily mass because, well, for me, it's also that.

00:30:34.960 It's like you'd have to be crazy not to.

00:30:38.580 But, you know, I don't know how to get there for everybody.

00:30:41.800 True deep belief.

00:30:42.740 And I know that comes from different ways.

00:30:44.440 There's not one size that fits all.

00:30:46.080 There's different ways people have conversions.

00:30:47.640 I get that.

00:30:48.100 But here's what I know.

00:30:49.820 Here's what I know.

00:30:51.740 From 15 years of traveling.

00:30:53.660 I don't really have to guess.

00:30:55.440 I used to think when I went to a church, John, I'm going to be speaking and I'm looking for,

00:31:00.480 you know, this fringe, lukewarm, like I was, beyond lukewarm.

00:31:04.540 But now I've come to believe after doing these presentations that the message is, I have people

00:31:10.600 who go to daily mass that after they come, they walk away changed in their understanding

00:31:16.780 of how to participate fully in the mass, how to pray the mass.

00:31:20.280 That's what I'm on about nowadays is how to truly pray the mass, right?

00:31:24.300 And the importance of that.

00:31:26.120 So I just think it's a matter of something catching people's attention.

00:31:30.200 I'm very biased, of course.

00:31:31.480 I think that if your kids and your grandkids that are away from the faith, watch the video

00:31:37.660 on my website of The Lady Have This Stigmata.

00:31:40.780 And if you go to my website and you click on the store, you'll see a book called Jesus Speaks.

00:31:47.480 If you click on the Jesus Speaks and scroll to the bottom, there's four little videos,

00:31:51.860 the short ones of her getting messages and the stigmata, I do believe those grab the attention

00:31:57.400 of most people.

00:31:59.320 Most people.

00:31:59.920 It doesn't mean, oh, I'm going to mass tomorrow.

00:32:01.640 But once you have someone's attention, now you have a conversation starter, right?

00:32:07.680 What's this all about?

00:32:08.860 Glad you asked.

00:32:10.560 Now give them the book Jesus Speaks or give them my book first, not because I'm trying 0.60

00:32:14.680 to promote my book, because I'm going to lead into everything I'm talking about.

00:32:18.420 My whole story from the crack, you know, from growing up to the crack house of God.

00:32:21.860 And people will want to know more.

00:32:24.440 That's the key.

00:32:25.480 People say, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

00:32:28.600 But there are tools and resources that God gave us that can lead them to the water, right?

00:32:34.720 And then if they want to drink, wow, do we have a ton of resources right for them.

00:32:39.100 What I want to do is ask you for final thoughts and tell you we're going to have you back on

00:32:44.120 again, because I think it's going to be fantastic to roll out more of this with you.

00:32:49.640 Give us for right now, final thoughts on really on your coming back, your encouragement for

00:32:56.260 people to delve into the Holy Sacrifice, to take it daily if they can, and why they should

00:33:03.720 do that.

00:33:04.380 That's easy.

00:33:05.220 So look, here's the bottom line.

00:33:06.840 All right.

00:33:07.120 As I mentioned, if you wanted to have a productive week or month in your life, you'd make sure

00:33:12.160 you ate the right food, right?

00:33:13.800 And the supernatural food is Jesus Christ, his body, blood, soul, and divinity.

00:33:17.800 And even if you can't receive, okay, don't stay away from Mass, because the main point

00:33:23.040 of going to Mass is not to receive Jesus.

00:33:25.400 It's a blessing we get to do that.

00:33:27.000 Take advantage of it.

00:33:27.780 But the main deal is to offer Jesus to the Father in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

00:33:33.260 And if you can learn how to pray the Mass and email me, I'll show you how to pray the Mass.

00:33:38.940 You can benefit the world.

00:33:40.880 Okay.

00:33:40.980 We're not just talking about heaven or hell, which is, of course, important.

00:33:43.360 We're talking about benefiting people here.

00:33:44.840 You can have peace in your life.

00:33:46.320 You can keep evil away.

00:33:47.440 If you thought that you were on a hunting trip and a bear was going to potentially come to

00:33:53.300 your camp and they gave you bear spray, right?

00:33:55.660 That's what the sacraments are.

00:33:57.560 This is what keeps evil away from our lives, right?

00:34:00.820 Truly.

00:34:01.580 And so this is, if people understood this, they'd be all over it.

00:34:04.380 And I just say, finally, for those of you who have kids and grandkids away from the church,

00:34:09.020 and of course we hear that all the time, I was that guy.

00:34:11.880 I mean, you read my book.

00:34:13.280 I was going nuts, nuts.

00:34:15.880 I don't mean just, you know, just horribly nuts.

00:34:19.340 And my mother consistently, as you'll see in my book, wrote journals and prayed and prayed

00:34:23.860 and prayed and prayed.

00:34:25.140 And your powers, your powers or your prayers are so powerful.

00:34:30.580 They truly are.

00:34:31.820 I devoted the rest of my life to traveling and sharing this information with people because

00:34:38.720 the power of a mother's prayer.

00:34:40.800 And so I think that's it.

00:34:42.360 You know, and I guess one last thing.

00:34:43.600 So watch the video on my website of the lady with the stigmata, and then make sure you definitely

00:34:48.520 get Jesus Speaks.

00:34:49.820 And I'm going to go and promote my book because I think that will show you my whole story as

00:34:54.180 it leads up called, it's called From the Crack House to God's House, The Power of a Mother's

00:34:59.080 Prayer.

00:34:59.440 God bless my mother, Patricia Ann Francis, Edwin Joseph Francis, both have now passed away.

00:35:04.540 And if you need somebody to pray for you, my mother was voted most likely to be a saint

00:35:09.420 when she died from our little church in Sacred Heart, New Carlisle, Ohio.

00:35:12.660 Tim Francis, absolutely beautiful.

00:35:15.800 That's the first time I've heard the comparisons, the sacraments are like bear spray.

00:35:19.360 God bless you.

00:35:20.140 Thank you for being with us.

00:35:21.660 And God bless all of you.

00:35:23.540 And we'll see you next time.

00:35:24.460 The Lord be with you.
