00:01:37.020 and it stems from the Vatican's choice of mascot designer Simone Lengo,
00:01:42.580 whose anti-Catholic record was plain for all to see
00:01:45.880 before he was selected for this role.
00:01:49.280 His company, Tiki Doki, has previously endorsed LGBT pride,
00:01:55.500 selling pride-themed merchandise,
00:01:57.840 such as digital wallpapers, art, and hats on its website.
00:02:01.180 So, believe it or not, this is the official mascot for the 2025 Jubilee year.
00:02:08.180 It's an anime-type figure, complete with its, you know,
00:02:11.880 the typical sort of immodesty characteristic of anime.
00:02:15.780 And the Vatican unveiled it with much fanfare back in the day.
