00:00:00.000 It was the single most helpless moment of my entire life. There was nothing I could do.
00:00:06.520 And I said, bless the mother, you have to help me. And just like that, I heard a voice.
00:00:14.700 Hello, my friends. Welcome to the John Henry Weston Show. I've got a guest whom I love and
00:00:19.120 I know all of you love. His name is Father James Altman. He's not only a great friend,
00:00:23.380 he's been a great solace in a lot of the times that we live in. One of the only ones who's
00:00:29.180 speaking the truth, as you'd say in the political realm, speaking the truth to power.
00:00:35.180 I want you to get to know a different side of Father Altman, a side that I know very well and
00:00:40.400 all his friends know very well, but a lot in the internet world might not know. You'd know if you
00:00:46.920 saw him early on in his parish while he was ministering when most people weren't during
00:00:53.880 the COVID times. He's a great man of faith, obviously, but he's also a great man of great
00:00:59.940 heart. So I wanted to ask Father Altman to come and speak today about miracles, miracles also in
00:01:06.580 his own life. Father, welcome to the program. Thank you again, John Henry. It was so good to
00:01:11.900 see you recently down in St. Louis. I'll see you again here in about another month or so.
00:01:18.220 And I don't know if you knew this, but I mean, I have you on my calendar. I knew today was coming.
00:01:23.880 No, but Tam didn't know that I knew it.
00:01:26.400 Good day ago, she said, Father, I forgot to, are you free?
00:01:30.880 Oh, well, for you, John Henry, and for LifeSite News,
00:01:33.820 glory be to God, thanks be to God for LifeSite News.
00:01:36.220 Thanks be to God for your own endurance of what transpired about a year or so ago
00:01:41.780 and to continue to be the light of Christ.
00:01:44.920 You have no idea what you do for me, so thank you.
00:01:48.700 Praise God.
00:01:49.900 Let's begin as we always do with the Santa Cross, Father, if you could lead us.
00:01:52.280 In nomine Patris, Spiritus Sancti. Amen.
00:01:57.200 Amen. So Father, why don't we start with your favorite miracle? And then we'll get to
00:02:03.880 miracles in your own life, because that's where we want to go. And I want people to hear,
00:02:09.520 because a lot of people are, you know, kind of depressed with our times and what's going on
00:02:14.540 in the church as well. They need to know God's active. And how has he been active in your life?
00:02:20.460 Gosh, you know, I love the question because nobody, I don't know, maybe they ask you, nobody really asked me, well, what's your favorite this? What's your favorite that? And this is a glorious one. What's your favorite miracle? And it actually is very easy. The miracle of the sun is, as I think, my all-time favorite. The tilma of Guadalupe is right behind it.
00:02:37.480 But when I think of how it was predicted and we're blessed to have pictures and I think even a video of of that day when seven, you know, I've been to Fatima and we're going again back then is even now it's not the easiest place to get to.
00:02:54.160 It's just a little tiny town, like you're stepping back in time.
00:02:57.900 But to think that 70,000 people heard that for the last once a month or the last five months before that, that somehow our Blessed Mother had appeared to these children and predicted on October 13th there was going to be this miracle.
00:03:13.300 And they didn't even know what it was going to be.
00:03:15.200 But like 70,000 people, including a bunch of atheists who wanted to disprove these children, including the town fathers who, you know, didn't they arrest them briefly?
00:03:24.160 uh to to think that they were able to get back before there were roads uh you know rest areas
00:03:31.520 mcdonald's 70 000 people got to fatima you know and they didn't have we have such modern
00:03:39.140 conveniences like port-a-pollies and stuff they had nothing 70 000 people show up and then it
00:03:46.260 happens there is something that cannot be denied like the incorruptibles cannot be denied like the
00:03:51.740 Tilna cannot be denied. There's something that cannot be denied that 70,000 people saw. And so
00:03:57.800 how is it that everybody in the whole world hasn't turned to the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
00:04:02.900 who told us she was going to do something, and then she did something? How is that possible?
00:04:08.160 Well, that's the funny thing. If you're at a university, you can go to your microfiche,
00:04:13.700 if that still exists. Right now, you can always do it online. But it felt more official when there
00:04:18.300 was microfiche, you could go and you could look up the newspapers from Portugal at the time.
00:04:23.620 You'll know they were run by, the government was all Masonic, extremely anti-Catholic.
00:04:29.680 And there is all over the papers, the evidence of the miracle because the mayor, who was actually
00:04:37.920 a Mason wanting to disprove them, ordered all of the newspaper reporters to be there.
00:04:43.600 So to make fun of them. And they thought they were going to have a great story because it was
00:04:46.920 raining cats and dogs and the whole field was so wet that it was like you know ankle deep mud and
00:04:52.040 just terrible and they thought oh my gosh what a what a you know what and uh yeah then we have what
00:04:58.460 we have and uh just absolutely stunning now that was 1917 and people are like yeah our lady came
00:05:04.900 once and that's it she promises to come again she promises that in the end her macular heart will
00:05:09.080 triumph all the crap that we're living through right now will be put to an end in a in a real 1.00
00:05:14.780 way and her heel will crush his head. She will be triumphant somehow. Again, we don't know what 0.99
00:05:20.460 the miracle will be. There will be a miracle. There will be a miracle that somehow firmly
00:05:26.200 establishes devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as Christ said, alongside devotion to my
00:05:31.200 own sacred heart. And yet we're still waiting. We've been waiting for a long time. Last month,
00:05:38.240 another major gold company that sponsors some of America's largest news networks went bankrupt.
00:05:45.540 And the bankruptcy filings show that $60 million is owed to that network's clients,
00:05:53.300 and virtually none of which is expected to be recovered for those families.
00:05:58.080 Not all gold companies are the same, and we feel very blessed at LifeSite News to be partnered
00:06:04.160 with St. Joseph's Partners, whose sole focus is helping families protect their worth. So throughout
00:06:11.080 their entire 16-year history, St. Joseph Partners has never failed to deliver on even one order to
00:06:20.120 a client, and we appreciate the integrity that they are able to bring to the table. I just recorded a
00:06:26.460 session with St. Joseph last week, and I want to encourage you to go look at it as we feel the
00:06:32.800 timing is urgent to understand how gold works. St. Joseph Partners also just published a 100-page
00:06:40.360 report loaded with graphs and tables titled Praise Be Jesus. And the subtitle is The Systematic
00:06:48.000 Failure of the U.S. Financial Advisory Industry and the Golden Opportunities This Creates to
00:06:54.400 Help Families Better Understand Why St. Joseph Partners Feels History Is Clear. Financial
00:07:01.360 advisors have positioned Americans very poorly for what is coming. You want to understand this

00:07:33.720 We want to be good stewards of what has been entrusted to us.
00:07:37.640 And history says gold plays a key role in doing just that.
00:07:42.600 Call St. Joseph's Partners today or click on the link below
00:07:45.120 and make sure that you and your family are protected.
00:07:49.740 Tell us about miracles, even in your own life,
00:07:52.620 because that's where people are.
00:07:55.000 Is there anything today?
00:07:56.740 Are we at today?
00:07:57.780 We're just bereft of everything today.
00:07:59.560 We're just, there's nothing now.
00:08:00.940 We're just waiting.
00:08:02.400 Actually, no, but a lot of people don't pay attention.
00:08:05.560 But tell us about stuff in your own life.
00:08:08.040 It has to be said, John Henry, that for those with eyes to see and ears to hear, those who
00:08:12.840 seek will find and they will recognize the miracles that are happening all around us
00:08:17.020 every day.
00:08:18.640 But when you've closed yourself up from God, when you don't make the trip to Fatima, you're
00:08:24.580 not going to see the miracle.
00:08:26.020 You won't hear it.
00:08:27.000 You won't recognize it.
00:08:28.820 the daily blessings we get the god's providence he can't just come down and remove our free will
00:08:34.660 by you have to be aware of what's going on in the providence so this particular miracle uh perhaps
00:08:40.680 my i guess there's been so many johnny oh gosh uh this involves our blessed mother it involves
00:08:48.120 another crazy uh field and this one is in ukraine and in 2000 and it i don't i don't even have
00:08:58.660 words to tell you that if I stand before our Lord and I don't serve him well, and he reminds me of
00:09:05.120 miracles such as this. Holy Moses. Anyway, a priest friend, this was long before I entered
00:09:10.340 seminary. It was not, this was not on the radar. If anything, it was a negative. He took me on a
00:09:15.500 16-day pilgrimage and we went to Warsaw, Krakow, and Divine Mercy. We went to Prague, the Divine
00:09:21.820 infant. And then the last four days, we went over to Ukraine, Lviv. And the problem's over
00:09:31.060 there now. And at the time, it had just gotten out from under communist control. And six years
00:09:37.960 before, Father Dan had been there. And they literally, because Russia had sucked out all 0.99
00:09:42.900 their money, they had no infrastructure. And so they didn't even have running water. They'd turn 0.56
00:09:46.640 it on from like 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and then the other they had to
00:09:53.540 shut off the water so he was all concerned about well we're not gonna be able to take a shower for
00:09:58.780 four days uh we're so you we are so spoiled we take it for granted and he was fretting the whole
00:10:04.260 trip well we we arrive and um and somehow there was a miscommunication because they didn't know
00:10:11.280 we were truly coming and that the secretary for the cathedral there called northern michigan to
00:10:17.360 his his office and of course she speaks ukraine mary up in ironwood iron mountain didn't speak
00:10:24.280 ukraine so they they there was no so anyway um we show up and we're standing outside uh the airport
00:10:30.860 and the people didn't come to get us and there was a man and a woman over there and and they
00:10:36.440 approached us. And the reason why this was such a big deal now is because Pope John Paul II was
00:10:42.120 going to canonize two Ukrainian saints. That's why we went these very days. And they were going to do
00:10:48.280 it in this big field that was a horse track. And that day and the next day, it was like 1.2 million
00:10:55.200 people. So they knew that there were some, this couple from Ukraine knew that there were going
00:11:00.180 to be people coming and they were like Uber for their day, but it was illegal. So they came up to
00:11:06.340 us because we were looking pretty forlorn and said to us in very good English, do you need like a
00:11:12.260 chauffeur for the next few days? And so Father Dan got out some money to pay him and he said, don't
00:11:17.220 do that. See those soldiers over there, they will arrest us if they see us doing this. So we got
00:11:23.460 delivered into our hands. The best husband and wife chauffeurs for the next four days took us
00:11:29.420 everywhere we wanted to go. It was amazing. So they took us downtown and as we arrive at the
00:11:34.580 cathedral out comes the rector just by god's providence again if you're aware that was a
00:11:40.140 god's providence moment to get the ride to take us to the cathedral out he comes and he recognizes
00:11:44.180 father dan from six years ago it says hey you made it so he went he got us our keys and so they gave
00:11:50.100 us our keys and and then we went to the hotel where we were staying it was brand new um and it
00:11:57.500 was just outside you know how a big city like columbus ohio or something will have a highway
00:12:01.020 way, all the way around it. Well, so does Levine. And this was just literally, you go up the exit,
00:12:07.640 like the off ramp, and then down the other side. There it was. And they had a statue of Mary in
00:12:12.460 the front yard. Now, you know, under communism, that never would have flown, right? So we got
00:12:17.180 to stay at our brain. And because it was just outside the city limits, they had their own
00:12:21.900 water pump. And I know I've been all over the world, as have you been. And I can tell you,
00:12:27.640 And absolutely unequivocally, that shower was the most water pressure shower I have ever had in any hotel in my entire life.
00:12:37.260 It was that amazing.
00:12:38.920 So, okay, so now it's time to go to the mass for the canonization.
00:12:44.540 All we had to do is go.
00:12:46.880 They had closed off the area like three miles around that spot because they had pumped in like 7,000, 8,000 soldiers for security.
00:12:55.380 All we had to do was walk up the exit ramp, cross the highway, go down the other exit entrance ramp, and walk right there.
00:13:02.240 It looked like a Churchill Downs that had a big, like, and then you walk through the center.
00:13:07.580 So we got Father Dan was always on time, unlike myself.
00:13:10.940 So we got there way early, and we're standing in front of the big door where the priests are all going to go in.
00:13:17.280 And I wasn't even a seminarian, so I had no claim to anything.
00:13:21.460 And so Father Dan spoke several different languages, and he practiced up on his Ukrainian before he went out there.
00:13:28.000 So he knew he was going to go in with the priest.
00:13:30.080 We had these special lanyards that gave us to seat.
00:13:32.700 There was A, B, and C, a little semicircle in front, and a million people behind you who had no seats at all.
00:13:39.600 All they were, by the way, seats were two posts in the ground and a board on it.
00:13:43.840 Anyway, so he goes up with a head guard-looking guy.
00:13:47.420 They all look very mean.
00:13:48.440 and they have these big guns, and he's trying to talk to them in Ukrainian, and he thinks he's
00:13:54.940 communicated, so he comes back to me, and I'm standing outside, and he says, I'm going to go
00:14:01.360 in with the priest. We're in section B. Your little lanyard thing says section A, and each section,
00:14:06.980 by the way, only sat about 100 people. I mean, there were just a couple posts in the ground
00:14:10.440 and a board. That was it, and so he said, but that guy said that when it's time, you can go in, too,
00:14:18.440 And I took him for his word. And next thing you know, he goes into an inn, right?
00:14:24.920 Now, you had to be there by eight, because if you weren't there by eight, they were going to lock the doors for security and nobody else is going to get in.
00:14:30.460 And now it's getting closer to eight. Suddenly, it's about 20 after eight.
00:14:34.420 A whole bunch of people have come and gone. I mean, you know, there's a million people going into this place.
00:14:39.540 And I'm thinking, I don't know what to do. He said, that guy's going to let me in.
00:14:44.040 And finally, it dwindled. There was maybe four or five of us standing outside there and these big soldiers with their guns. And I realized I'd been locked out. I'm not going to get in. And I certainly can't go up and explain to him, hey, that priest said that you said that I could go in.
00:15:03.360 and and what he did was he took the room keys in with him inside so I couldn't I couldn't get into
00:15:12.380 my I couldn't go back to the hotel I couldn't go up to the front desk and even say hey could I have
00:15:16.840 a spare room key because what I can't speak so now I am stuck and I'll be starting by like looking
00:15:23.240 at me thinking I'm thinking well what's he doing and in that moment I realized it was the single
00:15:30.800 most helpless moment of my entire life. There was nothing I could do. And, and I said,
00:15:38.240 bless the mother, you have to help me. And just like that, I heard a voice and it said,
00:15:48.680 watch for the next people coming that have a landlord, lanyard thing like you.
00:15:54.160 okay so i was praying wait you heard a voice like audibly heard or in your yeah yeah no it wasn't
00:16:02.400 just some sort of like oh maybe i should just watch how would i even know because you see by
00:16:06.520 this point they had closed the roads off three miles around and and everybody had come and gone
00:16:11.900 in and and so i hear this voice and i said okay well so i'm sitting there praying i had a little
00:16:18.520 Marian prayer book even so I'm praying and and I look down the room way in the distance here come
00:16:26.160 four or five these old men and they're just trudging very slowly because they're old and
00:16:32.100 they just had to walk three miles to get to this spot and and I'm watching they're getting close
00:16:38.740 again and sure enough I look at them and they have my exact same lanyard and I said okay follow them
00:16:48.060 so so they went back in the direction from whence we had come from the hotel and what happened was
00:16:55.000 father dan had gotten there so early that the door i was supposed to go in wasn't even open yet
00:17:00.440 and that's just how early he was so i just followed them in and they let us in by now it's
00:17:06.280 i think it's after nine o'clock so i follow them in in that because i i just i can't speak the
00:17:12.600 language and that's yeah so i go i go in and then they're having all these um what do you call those
00:17:19.460 things you go through an airport that go beep if you have metal on you um so we start to go in and
00:17:25.420 there's i don't know a dozen of them letting in the people and uh lo and behold i end up in a line
00:17:31.440 and just standing right in front of me because i i don't know anybody but standing right in front
00:17:38.580 of me because we'd gone to mass the night before at the cathedral downtown was the dad and his
00:17:43.980 little boy that i had sat next to last night in in the cathedral and i thought i i don't feel alone
00:17:52.120 i feel like i actually know somebody that was a huge hugely meaningful to me see if your eyes are
00:17:58.960 open and if you're doing the right thing like going to mass like you're supposed to uh but there
00:18:04.060 was the man and his son now i couldn't have said hello to him i don't know if they recognized me
00:18:07.780 but I sure recognize them. So I walk in, I get through the gate. There was a little
00:18:11.940 kerfuffle over here. Somebody had made a mess of their passports or something. We get in and
00:18:17.080 I walked by this whole orchestra and I get up to section A. And at this point, it's totally full,
00:18:24.340 except for maybe this wide. There's nobody there. And as I said, it's just two posts on the ground
00:18:31.440 and a flat board. So I sit down and I say to myself, okay, I don't even have Father Dan to
00:18:39.520 falsely tell me and interpret, right? I sit down and I said, okay, I'm not going to know what's
00:18:43.920 going on. I will recognize aspects of the mass. It's going to be an Easter. It's going to be very
00:18:49.120 Eastern right one. So it won't even be like I'm following along in the Novus Ordo. Anyway, so I 0.56
00:18:55.640 sat there. I will just sit and enjoy the grace because surely there will be grace. So as I'm
00:19:01.000 sitting there. Remember, I said it was about this long and I only took up this much space.
00:19:05.140 Up walks a man and a woman. And then they say to me in Ukrainian, and then you can see the
00:19:11.040 universal language, hey, are these seats taken, right? I said, how can I even answer them? So I
00:19:16.380 said in my best English and body language, sure, go ahead. When I said that, the lady's face just 1.00
00:19:24.200 lit up like a Christmas tree. Turns out she was a pediatrician and she had been sent to America.
00:19:31.000 to learn the English, to learn our best techniques.
00:19:34.600 And when she heard in the middle of Ukraine,
00:19:37.280 somebody speaking to her in English,
00:19:39.020 she was so excited.
00:19:39.920 She was practicing her English on me
00:19:41.600 and trying to explain to me all that was going on.
00:19:44.580 So there I am in a sea of 1.2 million people
00:19:47.200 and who sits next to me?
00:19:48.960 And now if I had been delayed or had gotten in earlier,
00:19:52.500 I wouldn't have had that seat.
00:19:53.620 I wouldn't have been sitting next to her.
00:19:55.280 She wouldn't have come up to me and said,
00:19:56.500 hey, is this seat taken?
00:19:57.460 It was the only one left, as I said.
00:19:59.600 Man, I wouldn't have this experience
00:20:00.840 so she would be able to help me all right so now we're sitting there mass is about to begin and as
00:20:05.780 I said all this all the seats such as they are taken all of a sudden a guy off to my left squeezes
00:20:11.780 in between me and the person next to me there wasn't much seating as I said and for for a
00:20:17.840 millisecond I got annoyed but shame on me and I thought look and I said what are you thinking
00:20:26.080 Let him in, right?
00:20:27.460 He sits down, and it turns out he was a native Ukrainian, and his parents had escaped religious persecution early on, and he grew up in London.
00:20:34.860 He spoke London like the king or the queen, and he was a member of the press, Radio Free Europe.
00:20:40.240 His wife was like number two in Radio Free Europe.
00:20:42.840 He went and got me from the press corps a copy of the Pope's homily, so I couldn't keep it because it belongs to the press, and I had to give it back to him.
00:20:51.220 But so there I am in a sea of 1.2 million people.
00:20:54.560 On my right, a pediatrician who wants to practice English.
00:20:57.100 And on my left, a guy who spoke English better than I did.
00:20:59.800 And then it all just transpired.
00:21:02.040 So they're our blessed mother when I said, I've never been more helpless in my life.
00:21:09.560 And she took care of it in a dozen different ways, including even like recognizing that father and son when I walked in.
00:21:16.680 so six months later so this was in june of 20 of 2001 like it was six months later we're now
00:21:27.040 going back to uh guadalupe just father dan and myself the year before we had gone down there for
00:21:33.200 the for the big feast day the four days and we got seats way up in the nose i mean you've been
00:21:39.380 there surely you've been to that big there's 10 000 people fit in there and you know we were way
00:21:43.500 up in the highest level or whatever. Anyway, so we're going back. And the year before, just the
00:21:50.280 last song, you know, on the night before, on December 11th, they have this thing called
00:21:54.320 Mananitas, this glorious celebration before the Holy Mass from 10 to 11 p.m. And people are
00:22:02.120 singing beautiful hymns to our Blessed Mother. And from where I was in the nosebleeds, I couldn't
00:22:06.680 tell. And then all of a sudden I could see between, and they were singing the songs to her.
00:22:11.340 I started crying. It was so beautiful. I thought they weren't performing for us.
00:22:16.620 They were singing hymns and songs to her. So anyway, just five minutes before the Mass begins,
00:22:22.300 they close up that hour, this is a tradition, with a song called Mananitas, which apparently
00:22:27.480 is Happy Birthday. And everybody knows the song. But they're singing Happy Birthday to her like
00:22:32.860 it's the birthday, it's the anniversary of your appearing to Juan Diego. So they start singing
00:22:38.860 this song yet do you know what song i'm talking about have you ever heard it before no i haven't
00:22:42.700 well yeah i'm there i am sitting with 10 000 people and when it comes to the chorus all 10
00:22:47.960 000 people start with you know like you can whistle like you put your like i don't know
00:22:52.400 how to do it but and and cheering and clapping it was oh my gosh it was profound i couldn't figure
00:22:59.100 out what the song was long before internet really was big so i got home and i tried for a year to
00:23:04.020 figure out what that song was and uh no luck and now we're going back a year later six months after
00:23:11.160 the ukraine and and so father dan somehow got us really good seats way up down near the front
00:23:18.380 and and so he goes again remember he's the same guy that got us there at like 6 a.m on in ukraine
00:23:25.380 so he goes down way early to make sure we're going to get in through the the back door that
00:23:31.300 leads out to the sacristy there's a guard shack there and the guard writes our names oh this is
00:23:37.120 this is so mexico i hate to say it guard writes our names in the little log book and then he takes
00:23:43.840 the tickets from father dan says you won't need these i've got you in a log book
00:23:48.680 so we go down uh early on on that night uh of mananita's time i had brought with me a camera
00:24:00.000 uh like a little sony camera because i wanted to record that as long before cell phones i wanted
00:24:05.140 to record that song so when i got back i could try to go to youtubers i'm gonna figure out what
00:24:09.840 this song is so uh so i had it with me and we go up to the guard shack guess what there's no such
00:24:16.980 thing as a log book but we're standing outside the back door up to the sacristy and it you know
00:24:25.640 the whole thing started at 10. And now it's about 20 to 11. And I know at like five minutes to 11,
00:24:32.860 they're going to start singing that song and I'm going to be stuck back here. So I said to Father
00:24:37.920 Dan, I said, listen, you stay here because you're a priest. Maybe they're going to let you in at the
00:24:44.760 last minute. They're not going to let me in. Let me go around to the front, you know, those massive
00:24:48.560 doors out there on the piazza. And I can record this song from way back there. And he looked at
00:24:53.640 And he said, do you not remember what your blessed mother did for you in Ukraine?
00:25:01.260 I felt like this small.
00:25:04.060 Lo and behold, five minutes later, for no good reason, for no explainable reason whatsoever, the door up to the Saxty opens and in we go.
00:25:16.180 Okay, so you walk up to the top of that steps, right?
00:25:18.440 And there's that great big bank vault door.
00:25:20.360 And on the other side of that bank vault door is the tilma.
00:25:23.640 And then you turn to the right and there's a sacristy.
00:25:26.820 Why don't you speak Spanish?
00:25:28.260 But Father Dan speaks, that's actually a language he does speak, unlike Ukrainian. 0.57
00:25:32.700 So I'm just standing in the sacristy, minding my own business, and waiting for that moment that somehow we're going to go out and sit somewhere out there, but not in the nosebleeds.
00:25:45.060 And Father Dan's out talking to all these people like as he can.
00:25:48.140 And then he comes up to me and he says, hey, you're going to do something at mass today.
00:25:52.880 And I think he's pulling my leg. Well, right in moments thereafter, up walks the emcee, his name was Sergio. And he said, can you be the English speaker for, you know, it's Gnome's Ordo, for the petitions? There's going to be like five different languages. Can you do that? And we're going to give you a special seat.
00:26:14.560 yeah i'll be happy to so uh he says just before we just before it begins we're gonna lead you out
00:26:23.100 there so it was getting close to about five minutes to 11 and he takes us now you know how um
00:26:29.040 right up there by the tilmouth on that back wall there's a cutout floor where those people are
00:26:35.260 taking that little four four walk moving walkways down there and there's these glass things that
00:26:40.400 They were about waist high, little bands, little so that you can't fall in.
00:26:44.780 They had put five seats right next to that, which was just outside the sacristy door.
00:26:50.340 And I was I sat in seat number two.
00:26:52.280 I have it on my computer.
00:26:53.380 I'll show it to you sometime.
00:26:54.440 So when I sat down, I literally was closer to our Blessed Mother's Thelma than the cardinals and the priests.
00:27:03.780 I was I was right.
00:27:05.060 I mean, you reach out and touch her, baby.
00:27:06.620 Well, she was a little further away because it's a big hole there this way.
00:27:09.640 But anyway, there I sat, sat down there. And sure enough, at that right time in mass, Sergio and another guy came and ushered us down to the podium. And I had to, wouldn't you know, he had me do it the first one instead of the French guy. And he was saying, go start, but the Cardinal's still speaking. So I turned to him and in English, say, I'm not starting till he stops.
00:27:31.240 well i did such a good job apparently that sergio came up after said can you do it the next day
00:27:36.960 at the mass roses so then anyway so i get out there i sit down in my seat i asked him can i
00:27:42.000 bring my little camera with me said sure sure go ahead i sat down boom they start the mananitas
00:27:47.460 and so i'm videoing it this is a video that i have and instead of being way up in the the
00:27:53.460 nosebleeds i'm sitting there there are 10 000 mexicans and visitors all whistling and clapping
00:28:00.220 and cheering for our Blessed Mother.
00:28:03.220 Our Blessed Mother took care of me again.
00:28:05.260 Just like, Father, don't you remember what she did for you in the Ukraine?
00:28:08.080 If you're aware, it happens all the time.
00:28:13.220 And undeserved, unmerited, oh my goodness, I had lack of faith, didn't I?
00:28:18.400 I said, how about if I go around in the front to see it?
00:28:20.420 Look, you could not have asked for a better seat in the house.
00:28:22.780 I had the best seat in the house.
00:28:25.220 So those are the miracles of our Blessed Mother in just that one year.
00:28:28.820 And ever since, and I could go on and on, but every day, every day, there's a gift of providence that somehow all glory be to God, because she leads us to him.
00:28:38.640 Our Blessed Mother takes care of us.
00:28:40.440 Beautiful.
00:28:41.200 If anybody's wondering what Father's talking about, November 11th and 12th, we're going to be in Fatima for Rome Life Forum, which this year is going to be focused on prophecy.
00:28:50.940 uh fathers there speaking uh as well as a whole bunch of other speakers including uh very well
00:28:58.220 known speakers on prophecy and father kramer of course whom we all know uh used to work very
00:29:03.880 closely with father gruner uh as well as xavier aral who i know most of you know and ted flynn
00:29:09.280 who is the author of very many books on catholic prophecy famously the one on garibundel as well
00:29:15.820 as well as a new book out. But we'll be there doing a pilgrimage, as it were, in Fatima,
00:29:23.400 the site of the great miracle, which is Father Saverett.
00:29:26.940 You had mentioned at the start that it's a dark time. And the reason it's, it was,
00:29:35.860 it will never, just remember this, it'll never get darker than the night of Good Friday.
00:29:42.840 If anybody had reason to think things were a bit dark, it was the apostles.
00:29:49.560 Three days later, he rose again. 0.91
00:29:53.200 In the dark times, as you know, the Jews, in the hierarchy of the Jews, were mocking Jesus and saying terrible things to him that you and I, I don't think we could endure. 0.70
00:30:08.840 Like the come down from your cross if you're really the Messiah.
00:30:12.300 uh mocking him and and that's what they're doing to us today we who are striving to be faithful
00:30:18.720 catholics faithful to 2 000 years of unchanged unchangeable truth the dogma of the faith
00:30:23.740 the council of trends back there on one on one of those shelves just hold tightly to the faith
00:30:28.940 hold stand firm and hold fast as saint paul says in 2 thessalonians 2 15 there will be crazy amongst
00:30:34.760 us we've been warned about that uh was that 2 timothy 4 3 and don't listen to the false gospels
00:30:40.060 Galatians 1, 6 through 9. Don't worry about it being dark. In fact, the darker it gets,
00:30:47.260 the happier I get, because I know it can't be long. Jesus is coming. Our reign over the
00:30:53.340 Immaculate Heart is coming. We've been promised the reign of the Immaculate Heart, just like she
00:31:00.620 promised the miracle of the Son. So why do we doubt? God, did Jesus put it? Oh, you have so
00:31:06.980 little faith, was that when, didn't he say that, when they were in the boat, and the storm had come
00:31:13.760 up, and they're all worried, wake up, Jesus, and save us, is that not what we're experiencing, that
00:31:19.240 exact same thing today, in the world, but most importantly, in the church, and what did Jesus
00:31:24.260 say to the apostle, oh, you of little faith, you of little faith, don't be of little faith, be of strong
00:31:29.140 faith, and look at this as an opportunity to grow in faith, you have to exercise your faith, yeah,
00:31:33.820 just like you exercise your muscles to grow in it. So I think that's a good message.
00:31:38.560 It is indeed. And the way we're called to do that for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart,
00:31:42.540 at least for us laity and clergy other than the Pope, is for the five first Saturdays.
00:31:49.260 And so let's get on that. In fact, this is the Jubilee year for the five first Saturdays because
00:31:54.380 it was given in 1925 in December. I believe it was December the 10th. But so last year we had
00:32:02.500 100 years of it. This year is the jubilee
00:32:04.500 year of it, so you have just a couple
00:32:06.460 more months, actually probably
00:32:08.460 November, December, two more months to get in
00:32:10.480 your First Saturday devotion.
00:32:12.920 Again, five consecutive
00:32:14.340 First Saturdays is what Our Lady has asked for, 0.95
00:32:16.400 but we can do it every First Saturday.
00:32:18.340 Father, just before we close, could you give everyone
00:32:20.460 your final blessing? I surely can.
00:32:22.360 In nomine Pahaci Sifili, et Spiritus Sancti
00:32:24.560 and the Lord be with you. And with your
00:32:26.480 spirit. And this October
00:32:28.520 6th, on the day of recording,
00:32:30.340 on this feast of St. Bruno,
00:32:33.300 Through his intercession, most importantly, through the intercession of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, may Almighty God bless you, strengthen you, nourish you in the faith, give you the courage to say, Viva Cristo Re, in nomine Patris, in spiritus arti. Amen.
00:32:49.340 Amen. And God bless all of you. And we'll see you next time.
00:32:52.460 last month another major gold company that sponsors some of america's largest news networks
