00:00:00.000 hey everyone this is john henry weston from life site news i wanted to give you an update on
00:00:09.120 alexander chuguel the pachamama destroyer who as you know yesterday i told you that he went into
00:00:16.200 hospital uh after suffering with coronavirus at home already for some nine days so there's an
00:00:23.420 update now that he has arrived in hospitals feeling a little better and he put out a new
00:00:28.880 facebook message that i wanted to give you first off the bat he said this and i quote after so many
00:00:34.200 of you already know about my state of health i wanted to thank you all deeply for all of the
00:00:39.900 prayers and support i get it is now day 11 with the virus he said and it's up to now i did not get
00:00:48.340 any better after i have been in home quarantine until yesterday morning my wife and i decided that
00:00:53.880 we got worse and that i have to go to the hospital now i'm here and they took good care of me please
00:01:00.700 continue to pray especially for the ones who got hit by the virus as hard as me or even harder but
00:01:07.180 who cannot have all this help and support let us always pray for the sick and old for the ones who
00:01:14.060 do not have families or friends which take care of them as soon as i am healthy again god willing i
00:01:19.940 will write another update here yours alexander uh christ will win he signs off he has a ps2 that
00:01:27.540 says i am sorry that i cannot answer your private messages right now it is too much so as i told you
00:01:33.900 yesterday i texted alexander only a couple of days ago and he was too weak even to speak now praise
00:01:40.260 god he seems to be doing somewhat better but let's please keep the prayers coming several people have
00:01:46.740 told me that there is likely a spiritual side to this story given alexander's heroic role in removing
00:01:52.260 the pagan idols from the church and creating a new vigor in the church by his actions which were praised
00:01:58.260 by faithful cardinals and bishops some of whom compared him to the maccabees it's very likely that
00:02:04.780 alexander was cursed or that he is a special target of the evil one whom he has infuriated by his holy
00:02:12.060 actions so in addition to praying for him let's do some fasting for him too since our lord did tell
00:02:19.100 us that some demons only come out by prayer and fasting alexander's not just some young man who had
00:02:25.340 a bright idea to remove these idols and now sort of basks in the glory of worldwide recognition he
00:02:31.340 actually undertook his actions out of a true zeal for the house of the lord with that same zeal which
00:02:37.580 led our lord to cast out the money changers from the temple alexander is a young man full of faith
00:02:44.140 and hope he's very well educated he's a traditional catholic and he has a wisdom well beyond his years
00:02:51.500 he is exemplary in his prayer life and his activism for life and family he's generous with his time and
00:02:58.380 for all the fame he has rightfully acquired he's very humble he wears his austrian jacket with pride as
00:03:04.940 a man who stands up for his nation but for him the faith is paramount you know when he contemplated
00:03:12.380 his actions of removing the idols from the church he knew full well that he was risking his own freedom
00:03:18.620 he discussed it with his wife and that heroic young lady agreed and encouraged him he carried out his
00:03:26.380 act with spiritual guidance with fervent prayer and frequent prayer he that's alexander is a leader in
00:03:36.220 the church militant it should be no surprise that satan would attack him and it's exactly here where we
00:03:43.980 can join in to defend him against the attacks of the evil one we can pray and fast together for him
00:03:50.780 right now we are all in a calamitous situation all the world is in this same situation but it gives us
00:03:59.420 amazing opportunity to focus on spiritual life the real battle promise me that you won't waste this time
00:04:08.300 given to us on video games or movies or all sorts of useless pursuits use this time to grow your spiritual
00:04:15.260 life to read the lives of the saints the practices of devotion you always wish you had time to read
00:04:21.500 you have that time right now we have been gifted time now don't waste it let's use it wisely
00:04:30.460 have you read the bible cover to cover yet no well now's the time have you read de monfort's true
00:04:36.460 devotion to mary or imitation of christ by thomas akempis no well now's your chance
00:04:42.060 have you always wished you could be praying a daily rosary with the family now is the time to
00:04:49.260 establish that routine and vow by the way never to stop it at life site today you will see suggestions
00:04:55.740 for keeping holy the lord's day that is sunday it's not just about watching a mass on tv or the internet
00:05:02.220 yes you should do that but there are great resources for that the institute of christ the king has just put
00:05:09.580 on a daily mass for people and a sunday mass for everyone as well but you should set apart the whole
00:05:16.060 of sunday as a day devoted to god for prayer spiritual reading for meditation and reflection
00:05:22.060 for family time directed to the faith all that time you would have spent getting ready for mass driving
00:05:29.180 there back and during mass should not be forsaken use that time that excuse even to get the children and
00:05:37.260 teens to devote that time to prayer on sunday let them know the severity of the situation
00:05:43.740 to drive home the eternal realities of life it's at this time times of calamity like this that people
00:05:51.260 start to focus on the four last things death death judgment heaven and hell our kids too so let's reach
00:05:59.260 out to our own children explain to them in whatever way we can depending on their age the situation that's
00:06:04.460 going on and we can reassure them too that life is all about coming to a holy death so we can be in
00:06:11.500 heaven forever so remember all things work for good for those who love him and we love him with all our
00:06:19.100 hearts so this coronavirus situation will benefit us praise the lord remember to pray for alexander and
00:06:26.860 for all those suffering with coronavirus for their healing but most of all for the spiritual healing of
00:06:33.820 which this world is in dire need the spiritual healing of this world which is now feeling a first taste
00:06:43.740 of this chastisement of god for the rejection of god let's remember as we always do to pray for one
00:06:52.700 another may god bless you and we'll see you next time
00:07:02.620 you
