Big Tech has begun banning accounts who they say are inciting violence against medical clinics that butcher and castrate children. But if criticism is incitement, then aren t we, as conservatives, also victims of it? Plus, public health authorities finally admit that monkeypox is a sexually transmitted disease. This raises some extremely disturbing questions about the pets and children that have contracted it. Also, Mike Pence calls on conservatives to stop attacking the FBI. He is missing the point. 00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, big tech has begun banning accounts who they say are inciting
00:00:04.740 violence against medical clinics that butcher and castrate children.
00:00:08.240 But if criticism is incitement, then aren't we, as conservatives, victims of it also?
00:00:13.100 Or is that not how it works?
00:00:14.280 Plus, public health authorities finally admit that monkeypox is a sexually transmitted disease.
00:00:18.820 This raises some extremely disturbing questions about the pets and children that have contracted
00:00:23.240 it.
00:00:23.820 Also, Mike Pence calls on conservatives to stop attacking the FBI.
00:00:27.320 He is missing the point, and I'll explain why.
00:00:30.260 Pediatricians speak out anonymously against the transing of kids, and our daily cancellation
00:00:34.140 students at the University of Virginia want all mention of their school's founder erased.
00:00:38.880 We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.
00:00:50.060 I want to talk to you about American financing, America's home for home loans, because I really
00:00:54.740 think that you could benefit from one of their 10-minute mortgage reviews.
00:00:57.780 It's a free, no-obligation conversation around your current loan, your other debts, and even
00:01:02.220 buying a new home.
00:01:03.600 You can talk about whatever you want to talk about with your salary-based mortgage consultant
00:01:06.820 because they're focused on you, not on getting a commission.
00:01:10.120 Let them run the numbers for you and see if they can save you up to $1,000 a month.
00:01:13.920 If they can, you can move forward with a new custom loan and start saving more today.
00:01:18.540 American financing is a family-owned business.
00:01:20.860 There's no pressure.
00:01:21.820 There's no obligation.
00:01:22.500 There's no upfront or hidden fees.
00:01:23.880 It's worth the call to learn more.
00:01:25.940 And look, you can't afford to not call because we're all looking for ways to save money, and
00:01:29.260 this is the way to do it.
00:01:31.220 Call 866-569-4711.
00:01:34.560 Call them right now and start saving money immediately.
00:01:36.820 That again is 866-569-4711.
00:01:39.840 Or you can simply visit AmericanFinancing.net.
00:01:43.620 NMLS 182-334.
00:01:46.840 NMLSConsumerAccess.org.
00:01:47.880 In April of last year, Dan Frankel, a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives,
00:01:53.580 sat down for an interview with Dr. Gerald Montano, who's the medical director of the
00:01:58.160 Gender and Sexuality Development Program at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
00:02:02.320 He's also the assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
00:02:06.740 So that's his whole resume, quite extensive.
00:02:09.220 And it was a 20-minute discussion that covered a wide range of questions,
00:02:12.580 all related to the sort of gender-affirming care offered to children at the hospital.
00:02:17.500 Now, oddly enough, the video was posted to YouTube last year on the Pennsylvania
00:02:24.040 House of Representatives YouTube channel, but then it was unlisted.
00:02:28.460 And when you unlist a video, it means that it won't pop up during a search on the site,
00:02:33.040 which means that nobody will see it unless they go directly to your channel.
00:02:36.780 And if your channel is the Pennsylvania House of Representatives channel,
00:02:40.020 that means, well, nobody will see it at all.
00:02:43.080 And nobody did until I found it yesterday and posted it to Twitter.
00:02:47.260 Now, the video is relevant this week, especially, as the media and the left run around pulling their
00:02:53.800 hair out, accusing conservatives like myself and many others of harassing and inciting violence
00:03:00.140 against gender clinics and children's hospitals by, they say, making up stories about children
00:03:06.900 being medically transitioned.
00:03:08.900 This is all something that we're making up.
00:03:10.780 It's invented.
00:03:12.140 It's false.
00:03:12.740 It's misinformation.
00:03:13.400 And yet, up until these establishments started getting public blowback about all these procedures,
00:03:19.880 they were quite open and upfront about what they were doing.
00:03:22.900 As you can hear in this video, Dr. Montano lays out in detail how children begin to socially
00:03:29.880 transition, quote unquote, at five and then medically transition at 10, followed by,
00:03:34.480 in some cases, surgery before they turn 18.
00:03:37.260 What does gender-affirming care look like for a five-year-old and then maybe for a 10-year-old?
00:03:44.500 That's another good question.
00:03:46.360 So for a five-year-old, there is no medical intervention for a five-year-old because none
00:03:50.380 is necessary.
00:03:51.720 What we do for a five-year-old is that we refer them to a therapist to help them explore their
00:03:56.920 gender identity and to make them feel comfortable with how they feel about themselves.
00:04:01.080 Now, for a 10-year-old, that really depends on where they are in puberty because for some
00:04:06.560 people, especially those who are assigned female at birth, they might start having signs of
00:04:12.320 puberty.
00:04:13.220 And then there is discussion on whether or not pupital blockers may be warranted for that
00:04:18.300 individual because they can become really distressed if they're starting to develop secondary
00:04:23.440 sex characteristics that really distresses them.
00:04:26.940 So it really depends on where they are in puberty at 10 years old.
00:04:29.660 When would hormone therapy tend to be introduced and how do we know that that's safe?
00:04:35.080 So another good question.
00:04:37.180 So according to the Endocrine Society guidelines for working with transsexual individuals, they
00:04:43.700 recommend that the age is 16.
00:04:46.100 There's a lot of discussion about surgical options.
00:04:49.740 When does that become part of the discussion and do all trans people seek surgery?
00:04:55.340 Another good question.
00:04:56.380 And so for, depending on the type of surgery, but for the vast majority of surgeries, they
00:05:03.800 are not done until the youth is 18 years old.
00:05:07.520 The only exception is top surgery in which sometimes that is done earlier.
00:05:11.760 And again, that is a intensely personal decision between the child, the family, and the doctor
00:05:19.540 and the surgeon and the mental health provider to see if that is the right path towards them.
00:05:24.900 An intensely personal decision whether the child is going to have her breast chopped off.
00:05:32.100 He's actually, he's still not telling the full truth there.
00:05:34.220 He says the only exception when it comes to surgeries on minors is top surgery, so-called top surgery.
00:05:40.440 That's not true.
00:05:41.440 They do all kinds of other surgeries on kids as well.
00:05:46.000 But even if it was just top surgery, that would certainly be bad enough.
00:05:50.200 Now, we can expect that the video I just played there will be promptly deleted just as gender
00:05:55.400 clinics and children's hospitals around the country are right now, this week, frantically
00:06:00.740 deleting all of the material that they had once proudly published advertising their treatment
00:06:05.440 of children, including extremely young children.
00:06:08.200 Here's another likely soon-to-be-deleted video.
00:06:10.280 This from the director of the Yale Pediatric Gender Program, extolling her program's benefits
00:06:15.860 for children as young as three years old, in her case.
00:06:20.780 So I'm a clinical psychologist by training, and I am the director of the Yale Gender Program,
00:06:27.940 which is an interdisciplinary program working with gender-expansive individuals, 3 to 25, and their families.
00:06:35.740 We help individuals who are questioning their gender identity or who identify as transgender
00:06:42.160 or non-binary.
00:06:43.160 We help them with their gender journey, thinking through that, thinking through the risks and
00:06:48.700 the benefits of medical intervention, starting medical intervention, and also building supports
00:06:55.800 around them.
00:06:56.800 I love what I do, so it's really, really wonderful to be working in this field and to be working
00:07:03.860 with individuals who are gender diverse and gaining their support and helping them on
00:07:08.320 their gender journeys.
00:07:10.140 Now, what can be said in defense of this lunacy?
00:07:14.800 Apparently nothing at all, which is why the media has, again, left in action this week,
00:07:19.220 not to defend the practice, but to call for critics of the practice to be silenced on the
00:07:23.600 grounds that we're engaging in harassment and incitement.
00:07:27.100 This is what Christopher Ruffo, I think, aptly calls discourse engineering, and we're seeing
00:07:32.260 it play out, we've seen it play out many times, but perhaps rarely as starkly and blatantly
00:07:37.320 as it has this week.
00:07:39.260 And it always follows the same basic path, right?
00:07:42.460 The left engages in some kind of outrageous, sickening behavior.
00:07:47.540 They get away with it for a long time, right?
00:07:50.640 But they keep pushing the envelope, and eventually they go too far, and people notice, and then
00:07:56.560 a public backlash follows.
00:07:59.280 But then the media comes along and ignores the actual reason for the backlash, completely
00:08:03.800 sidesteps the criticisms that the critics are actually making, and instead cries about
00:08:08.520 harassment and incitement, and calls on more powerful institutions like big tech to de-platform
00:08:14.620 and silence the critics.
00:08:16.440 And usually they get their way.
00:08:17.460 Now, it was announced last night that the Libs of TikTok account on Facebook has now
00:08:22.940 been suspended, seemingly on a permanent basis.
00:08:25.960 Now, the ostensible reason is that the account ran afoul of community standards because of
00:08:32.480 its posts about the Boston Children's Hospital child mutilation program.
00:08:36.220 But all that Libs of TikTok did, of course, is simply point out what BCH was doing and criticize
00:08:43.460 them for it.
00:08:44.080 There has been, once again, no effort to engage with the criticism.
00:08:49.360 It is easier simply to silence them.
00:08:52.600 Now, the pressure is falling on Twitter to follow suit and ban anyone who criticizes or
00:08:57.280 even talks about the drugging and mutilating of children.
00:09:00.980 Yesterday, Media Matters tweeted this.
00:09:03.620 The Daily Wire's Matt Walsh falsely accused Boston Children's Hospital of putting, quote,
00:09:08.280 every toddler who's ever been born on a path to sterilization and butchery before they can
00:09:13.280 even talk.
00:09:14.400 Two days later, the hospital staff was deluged by violent threats.
00:09:19.680 Now, there's obviously a not at all subtle attempt here to draw a direct connection between
00:09:26.180 my monologue that I gave on the show a couple days ago and the supposed violent threats against
00:09:31.500 the Children's Hospital.
00:09:32.400 Never mind that Media Matters actually misquotes me, which you can hear if you listen to the
00:09:37.520 clip that they themselves posted and provided.
00:09:40.700 Let's listen to that.
00:09:42.400 Today on the Matt Walsh show, children's hospitals around the country are butchering, mutilating,
00:09:46.520 and sterilizing their young patients.
00:09:48.140 According to Boston Children's Hospital, literally every toddler who has ever been born or will
00:09:53.840 ever be born is trans.
00:09:55.300 Now, if it seems like they're casting the widest imaginable net in order to catch the
00:09:59.900 most children they can and put them all on a path to sterilization and butchery before
00:10:04.240 they can even talk, well, that's because that's exactly what these monsters are doing.
00:10:10.500 And they've done it up until this moment without much resistance from the public.
00:10:16.360 But that has to end.
00:10:18.460 We have to stop making it so easy on them.
00:10:20.720 And that's why I'm in the very early stages of trying to organize a national coordinated
00:10:26.240 effort to fight back against this evil.
00:10:29.880 You know, it's really just a matter of where do we begin?
00:10:32.140 Maybe we begin at Boston Children's Hospital.
00:10:35.060 Boston Children's Hospital says its staff is being threatened and harassed now after far-right
00:10:39.980 activists on social media posted misinformation claiming they perform gender-affirming hysterectomy
00:10:45.300 procedures on young girls.
00:10:47.220 The hospital says it's not true.
00:10:49.340 They do not perform those procedures for anyone under the age of 18.
00:10:54.020 Boston Children's Hospital says it is proud, though, to be home to the first pediatric and
00:10:58.260 adolescent transgender health program in the United States.
00:11:01.700 The hospital, though, now is working with law enforcement to try to better protect its
00:11:06.060 staff in the face of these lies.
00:11:08.680 Lies, yeah.
00:11:10.080 Once again, the obfuscation.
00:11:11.560 Well, we don't do that.
00:11:12.360 We don't do that procedure.
00:11:14.600 Yeah, but you are taking young girls and you're chopping their breasts off.
00:11:18.100 That's what you're doing.
00:11:19.340 And you're chemically castrating kids.
00:11:20.880 That's what you're doing.
00:11:23.120 No, we don't remove their uteruses.
00:11:26.180 We just cut their breasts off and sterilize them.
00:11:28.140 That's all we do.
00:11:29.360 That's all we're doing to kids.
00:11:30.440 No big deal.
00:11:30.980 Now, Media Matters quotes me as saying that Boston Children's is putting every toddler
00:11:38.740 who's ever been born on a path to sterilization and butchery before they can even talk.
00:11:42.580 In reality, I said that Boston Children's is casting a wide net, catching as many children
00:11:46.940 as they can, and putting them all on a path to sterilization and butchery.
00:11:50.960 The difference in those two claims should be obvious.
00:11:53.720 They're not doing it to literally every child on earth, as much as they might want to.
00:11:57.200 I don't know, but they're doing it to as many kids as they can, which is true.
00:12:03.940 Media Matters has to lie about what I said because they can't argue against or deny what
00:12:09.420 I actually said.
00:12:10.480 They can only demand that I be punished for saying it.
00:12:13.800 This has also been the strategy of Brianna Wu, who's the, you know, the Gamergate chick,
00:12:17.980 and she was on a tear.
00:12:19.860 She's been on a tear for the past 24 hours demanding that I be deplatformed on the grounds
00:12:24.900 of incitement.
00:12:25.460 This morning, she ranted, Matt Walsh is going to get someone killed.
00:12:28.820 Twitter should suspend him for inciting violence.
00:12:31.440 If you want evidence, just look at my mentions from him yesterday.
00:12:34.960 These are the same violent nutjobs that murdered George Tiller for providing abortions.
00:12:39.660 A show on Twitter doesn't faze me, but calls for violence and dehumanizing healthcare workers
00:12:44.580 is a different story.
00:12:46.160 This is screaming fire in a crowded theater, and Twitter shouldn't facilitate it.
00:12:50.040 Someone is going to get killed.
00:12:51.420 Now, I never called for violence, obviously.
00:12:56.080 There's a reason why, among all the claims that I've called for violence and others have
00:13:00.760 called for violence, no one's quoted us calling for violence.
00:13:04.380 Did you hear that in the Media Matters clip?
00:13:06.920 Did I tell anyone to go do anything violent?
00:13:09.660 Of course not.
00:13:12.180 She's also lying.
00:13:13.640 You know, all these people can do is lie because, again, they absolutely cannot engage with the
00:13:19.140 point.
00:13:19.480 They cannot defend the practices that I and so many others are criticizing.
00:13:24.320 I went back and forth with Brianna for a while, asking her if she could actually offer some
00:13:29.460 sort of defense or justification for giving double mastectomies to teen girls, chemically
00:13:33.300 castrating, pre-buvesant boys.
00:13:35.480 She couldn't defend it.
00:13:36.560 And instead kept repeating like some kind of incantation that I'm committing incitement.
00:13:43.320 You know, it's actually, I am speaking out against violence.
00:13:48.860 I'm speaking out against the violence being done to children.
00:13:53.000 People like Brianna Wu and Media Matters and all the rest of them on the left are defending
00:13:58.240 violence against children and trying to silence anyone who speaks out against it.
00:14:03.300 But, you know, if criticism is incitement, then it must be said that Brianna Wu is inciting
00:14:11.080 violence against me.
00:14:12.440 Media Matters is the most guilty of this.
00:14:16.820 Media Matters is certainly guilty of incitement.
00:14:19.960 In fact, Media Matters has been attacking me relentlessly for years.
00:14:24.020 They've been attacking everyone here at The Daily Wire for years.
00:14:28.680 They're obsessed with us.
00:14:29.880 They want to date us.
00:14:30.820 They either want to date us or they want us killed.
00:14:32.360 Or both, maybe.
00:14:33.920 You never know what these freaks.
00:14:36.380 They are guilty of harassment and incitement by their own logic.
00:14:41.560 And, of course, in their case, there's actually much more of an argument to really be made
00:14:47.060 for that.
00:14:49.660 Because they're lying about us.
00:14:51.020 They're lying about what we're saying.
00:14:52.120 And they're going around claiming that we are, you know, a physical threat.
00:15:01.980 So, by their logic, then they are guilty of incitement.
00:15:05.740 But what we know, of course, is that the incitement charge is only ever made to silence the opposition.
00:15:13.800 And that, obviously, is what this is all about.
00:15:18.360 Now, let's get to our five headlines.
00:15:19.600 You've heard me talk a lot on this show about how important it is to get your kids away from the public school system
00:15:30.800 and mainstream kids' content.
00:15:32.580 That's because Marxism, socialism, critical race theory, trans ideology, all of that stuff is out there.
00:15:37.180 The left is pushing a persistent and loud attack on the truth.
00:15:40.240 And they're starting with your kids.
00:15:41.800 There are a lot of ways you can protect your kids from these not-so-secret leftist agendas.
00:15:45.540 You can homeschool, you can get them involved in a religious community, you can give them the right books to read,
00:15:50.220 like my best-selling children's book, Johnny the Walrus, at johnnythewalrus.com.
00:15:53.420 But one of the easiest and simplest ways to protect your children is to take five minutes tonight to write a will with epic will.
00:16:00.040 A will gives you the power to say who will raise your kids should something happen to you and your spouse.
00:16:04.900 It can, in certain cases, be the only legal defense standing between your kids and the persistent indoctrination attempts from the left.
00:16:11.280 If you don't have a will, you're allowing the state to decide everything.
00:16:14.140 Who gets to raise your kids? Who gets your money? Everything.
00:16:17.240 And they can hit your family with a massive fee for administering on your behalf.
00:16:21.340 Don't let that happen. Go to Epic Will.
00:16:23.700 Epic Will is an online will platform that costs less than your next trip to the store.
00:16:27.480 They can set you up with a will in as little as five minutes, starting at just $119+.
00:16:31.280 You can save 10% when you go to epicwill.com and use code Walsh.
00:16:35.220 Take five minutes tonight to write a will, ensuring that your kids will be raised the way you've intended
00:16:39.320 in the event that something happens to you.
00:16:41.140 Go to epicwill.com and use my code Walsh today.
00:16:44.860 All right. I actually want to start with this just because it's kind of fun.
00:16:48.600 Yesterday we showed some images, still images, posted by Congressman Thomas Massey of an IRS recruitment session.
00:16:56.760 And you can see how the IRS is recruiting a bunch of agents to use lethal force against people who claim too many deductions on their tax returns or whatever.
00:17:07.180 But the problem for the agency is that the recruits are about as physically impressive as like a JV badminton squad with all respect to badminton.
00:17:16.960 So Massey had photos from the recruitment, but today we have the actual video footage of this recruitment session, which is even better.
00:17:28.180 So let's go ahead and let's watch some of this as they're recruiting the...
00:17:32.960 They're busting into the place because someone didn't claim $492 worth of sales on Etsy on their taxes or something.
00:17:47.060 Sir, sir, you counted a dinner at Red Lobster as a business expense.
00:17:51.740 Sir, we're taking you in.
00:17:57.560 Okay. The BMI index going on here.
00:18:01.840 Oh, this guy's trying to talk himself out of it.
00:18:07.260 They're not having any of it, though.
00:18:09.720 You know what? Just shoot the guy. Just shoot him.
00:18:13.920 He sold a coffee table on eBay and didn't claim it on his taxes. Just take him out.
00:18:19.560 And then this guy over here. Look at this guy here.
00:18:23.200 Okay, they're taking him in.
00:18:24.700 They've got like five people with guns pointed at his back.
00:18:29.420 Who is this guy? John Wick?
00:18:33.380 Did John Wick make some suspicious deductions?
00:18:39.620 So there we go.
00:18:42.920 That's what the IRS is doing.
00:18:44.380 You know, the thing is, I said yesterday, half-joking, that this should make us feel a little bit better.
00:18:50.960 We can turn it off.
00:18:52.300 This should make us feel a little bit better about the 87,000 agents that they're hiring,
00:18:57.680 especially because, as I said yesterday, if they come to your house with guns,
00:19:01.820 they're probably going to end up just shooting each other by accident.
00:19:05.180 But at the same time, the fact that the tyrants are this physically unimpressive
00:19:16.340 is even more demoralizing in a certain way.
00:19:20.260 It's somehow even more psychologically demoralizing.
00:19:23.520 That in our, you know, in our country today,
00:19:29.920 the petty tyrants running the country are just, it's like this.
00:19:33.960 The most unimpressive, mediocre people imaginable
00:19:37.880 are the tyrants ruling over us.
00:19:43.360 Which in some ways is even worse.
00:19:46.060 You would almost prefer if they were a bunch of like Navy SEALs types.
00:19:49.560 All right.
00:19:53.560 This is from NBC.
00:19:55.440 So, I'm just going to read the report.
00:19:58.800 An update on the monkeypox outbreak.
00:20:02.840 Which may or may not come as a surprise to you.
00:20:06.060 It's from NBC.
00:20:06.780 It says,
00:20:07.020 Since the outset of the global monkeypox outbreak in May,
00:20:09.980 public health and infectious disease experts have told the public
00:20:12.460 that the virus is largely transmitted through skin-to-skin contact,
00:20:17.920 in particular during sex between men.
00:20:21.200 Now, however, an expanding cadre of experts has come to believe that sex between men itself,
00:20:28.060 both anal as well as oral intercourse,
00:20:30.340 is likely the main driver of global monkeypox transmission.
00:20:34.220 The skin contact that comes with sex, these experts say,
00:20:37.060 is probably much less of a risk factor.
00:20:40.160 In recent weeks, a growing body of scientific evidence,
00:20:42.600 including a trio of studies published in peer-reviewed journals,
00:20:45.120 as well as reports from national, regional, and global health authorities,
00:20:47.320 has suggested that experts may have framed monkeypox's typical transmission route
00:20:51.340 precisely backward.
00:20:54.080 Reconceiving the primary risk factors for transmission
00:20:56.480 is crucial because of how it may affect guidance on reducing the risk of infection,
00:21:01.680 including the question of whether demanding that people with the virus self-isolate
00:21:04.700 has any substantial impact on transmission.
00:21:07.060 So now, months later, they're finally admitting that,
00:21:13.380 oh, you know what, this is actually basically an STD.
00:21:17.920 This is a sexually transmitted disease.
00:21:21.680 After claiming for months that it wasn't.
00:21:25.060 That, yeah, it's almost all gay men getting this,
00:21:28.240 and it tends to be transmitted at orgies and that sort of thing.
00:21:35.220 And it's, you know, gay men who have 14 different sexual partners
00:21:40.300 over the course of a weekend.
00:21:41.520 They're the ones who are contracting this.
00:21:43.200 But it's not an STD.
00:21:44.560 It's got nothing to do with gay sex at all.
00:21:46.260 It's just, it's really skin-to-skin contact.
00:21:48.840 That's what they told us.
00:21:51.460 And now, as NBC is admitting, well, that's precisely backwards.
00:21:55.900 And as always, they want to get away with this by saying,
00:22:01.880 well, we didn't know before.
00:22:02.880 So we're just learning as we go along.
00:22:04.940 Well, no, but you did know before.
00:22:06.920 You knew before because I knew.
00:22:09.640 Okay, I'm not a public health expert.
00:22:11.400 I'm not a doctor.
00:22:12.440 I knew because I just have common sense.
00:22:14.320 We all knew.
00:22:16.460 If we can see that this is a disease
00:22:18.420 that is spreading almost entirely in the gay community
00:22:21.300 and that it spreads almost entirely among men
00:22:24.240 who are having sex with each other,
00:22:25.460 pretty good indication that this is a sexually transmitted infection.
00:22:30.480 Never made any sense to say, well, no, it's just skin-to-skin.
00:22:33.960 Okay, well, if that's what it is, then why is it only transmitting among gay men?
00:22:42.860 What about straight people who have sex?
00:22:47.060 There's skin-to-skin contact involved there, too.
00:22:50.120 And what about other environments where there's a lot of close-quarter physical contact?
00:22:55.620 What about people going to concerts or, you know, in any kind of really crowded venue
00:23:00.280 where they're brushing up against each other?
00:23:02.800 If it has nothing to do with sex, then you should see monkeypox outbreaks happening
00:23:08.340 in all those kinds of environments, but you never did
00:23:11.340 because it was obvious from the beginning that this is a sexually transmitted disease
00:23:15.140 among gay people, which now they finally tell us.
00:23:19.460 Because they have to.
00:23:20.840 They have no choice.
00:23:21.660 But this does put a little bit of a different light on some other recent monkeypox-related stories,
00:23:32.460 like this one, for example, from The Hill.
00:23:34.520 You remember this?
00:23:35.620 It says,
00:23:35.980 A dog living with two men in France who were infected with the virus began exhibiting symptoms
00:23:50.920 12 days after they did.
00:23:52.740 The four-year-old male Italian greyhound, which had no previous medical disorders,
00:23:57.280 tested positive after showing symptoms such as lesions and postules on its abdomen.
00:24:01.480 Now, at the time, the two gay men, apparently, who somehow passed monkeypox onto their dog,
00:24:13.400 they said that it was because they were co-sleeping with the dog.
00:24:16.200 They had a dog in bed.
00:24:18.760 But now the public health authorities are telling us that just skin-to-skin,
00:24:22.860 or in this case, skin-to-fur contact, that's not enough.
00:24:26.900 It is primarily through, I don't know,
00:24:31.480 I mean, how do we connect these dots?
00:24:33.640 Do I need to spell it out?
00:24:35.620 It's primarily through sexual contact that this thing has spread,
00:24:39.780 and these two guys gave it to their dog.
00:24:47.420 And even more horrifying than that, actually,
00:24:50.300 is the stories we've also seen of children
00:24:53.500 who are living with adults that have monkeypox
00:24:57.920 and then end up getting monkeypox themselves.
00:24:59.500 Yeah, I mean, if we lived in a country that cared at all about kids,
00:25:04.800 CPS would be breaking into those homes right away
00:25:07.320 and carting those kids out
00:25:08.700 because this is clear evidence
00:25:13.660 of horrible things happening in those homes.
00:25:17.280 All right, let's go here.
00:25:19.140 This is former vice president, rather, Mike Pence,
00:25:22.160 who does have ambitions of being president one day,
00:25:24.780 spoke out yesterday at an event
00:25:27.940 about the anti-FBI sentiments on the right.
00:25:31.900 And what he says is that,
00:25:33.980 hey, we've, as conservatives,
00:25:36.220 we've criticized the defund the police movement.
00:25:38.960 Well, Penn says, let's not replace that with defund the FBI
00:25:42.320 because that's just as wrongheaded.
00:25:44.840 Let's listen to him make that argument.
00:25:46.440 I also want to remind my fellow Republicans
00:25:49.360 we can hold the attorney general accountable
00:25:56.000 for the decision that he made
00:25:58.560 without attacking rank-and-file law enforcement personnel at the FBI.
00:26:06.040 The Republican Party is the party of law and order.
00:26:16.020 Our party stands with the men and women
00:26:17.920 who serve on the thin blue line
00:26:19.320 at the federal and state and local level.
00:26:23.300 And these attacks on the FBI must stop.
00:26:27.020 Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong
00:26:29.420 as calls to defund the police.
00:26:31.060 The truth of the matter is
00:26:36.200 we need to get to the bottom of what happened.
00:26:40.320 We need to let the facts play out.
00:26:42.920 But more than anything else,
00:26:45.020 the American people need to be reassured
00:26:48.180 in the integrity of our justice system
00:26:51.940 and the very appearance of a recurrence
00:26:55.680 of politics playing a role in decisions
00:26:58.860 that the Justice Department demands
00:27:01.220 transparency as never before.
00:27:03.640 And I will continue to call
00:27:04.940 on the attorney general
00:27:06.480 and the Justice Department
00:27:07.940 to make that information available
00:27:10.880 to the American people
00:27:12.300 and do so now.
00:27:17.840 I totally agree with what Mike Pence said
00:27:20.580 at the end of his statement there
00:27:22.740 where he says that we need to be reassured
00:27:24.900 in the integrity of the justice system.
00:27:26.920 That, certainly, we do need.
00:27:29.800 Because when you have a society
00:27:32.120 that has completely lost faith
00:27:34.180 in the justice system,
00:27:36.680 completely lost any faith
00:27:38.480 that there is a system in place
00:27:40.960 for enacting and exacting justice,
00:27:44.720 well, then you have the collapse of society.
00:27:48.300 So this is of critical importance
00:27:50.480 to reassure the American people
00:27:54.780 about the integrity of the justice system.
00:27:56.640 Well, how do you do that?
00:27:59.100 You do that by taking these kinds of agencies
00:28:02.020 and disassembling them.
00:28:05.500 I mean, ripping them down,
00:28:07.240 ripping them apart.
00:28:10.860 Right down to the foundations.
00:28:13.580 And then rebuilding.
00:28:19.180 So that's the difference.
00:28:21.040 The reason why people are talking about
00:28:23.420 defunding the FBI,
00:28:27.020 overhauling the FBI,
00:28:28.420 abolishing the FBI,
00:28:29.660 however you want to put it,
00:28:30.420 whatever the exact demand is,
00:28:34.660 the reason for that
00:28:36.380 is that the corruption
00:28:37.580 in these institutions
00:28:39.620 goes all the way down
00:28:42.560 to the bottom
00:28:43.200 and the top.
00:28:45.000 I mean, it's pervasive.
00:28:47.420 That's how deep the rot is.
00:28:51.100 And you're not going to get,
00:28:52.720 you're not going to address the problem
00:28:54.080 by just sort of circling around
00:28:56.400 the perimeter of it.
00:28:59.840 You can't work around the edges.
00:29:01.480 You know, people have,
00:29:08.400 there's no faith in the FBI
00:29:10.660 as an institution.
00:29:12.120 That's the point.
00:29:13.120 And there shouldn't be.
00:29:14.940 The FBI is a corrupt institution.
00:29:21.360 And that's the thing
00:29:22.340 that Mike Pence doesn't seem to understand.
00:29:25.040 And a lot of other Republicans
00:29:26.120 don't understand.
00:29:28.020 But the Republicans
00:29:28.540 that don't understand this
00:29:29.620 are not going to have much of a future
00:29:30.980 in politics
00:29:31.560 because most conservatives
00:29:33.260 do understand this.
00:29:34.980 And we want to be represented
00:29:36.420 by Republicans
00:29:37.420 who understand it.
00:29:39.660 Take the corruption seriously.
00:29:42.480 All the talk we heard
00:29:43.780 about draining the swamp
00:29:44.880 and all of that.
00:29:46.140 Yeah, that's,
00:29:46.580 that's, we need that.
00:29:47.920 That's great,
00:29:48.680 but we need it to actually happen now.
00:29:52.140 And draining a swamp
00:29:53.440 is a drastic move.
00:29:56.300 But that's what's necessary.
00:29:58.840 Because these institutions
00:30:00.100 are corrupt to their core.
00:30:06.540 And that should be our concern,
00:30:08.200 much more than protecting
00:30:09.220 the feelings
00:30:09.920 of the rank-and-file FBI.
00:30:12.980 You know the other difference, too,
00:30:14.040 between the FBI
00:30:14.640 and, like, local law enforcement?
00:30:19.720 It's pretty clear
00:30:20.940 to any reasonable person
00:30:22.840 that we need local law enforcement.
00:30:24.740 Like, in a, in a, in a community,
00:30:27.020 you need to have local cops.
00:30:29.880 So that's, that's pretty clear.
00:30:31.360 And if there are problems
00:30:32.700 with the local police,
00:30:33.520 like there is down in Uvalde, Texas,
00:30:35.180 there are obviously serious,
00:30:36.360 there's serious corruption
00:30:37.160 and problems
00:30:37.600 with the local police there.
00:30:39.100 And that needs to be addressed
00:30:40.240 and taken seriously.
00:30:41.080 But what you can't do
00:30:41.800 is just get rid of the cops.
00:30:43.220 You can't do that.
00:30:43.900 It doesn't, you can't do it.
00:30:45.020 Because then anarchy ensues.
00:30:49.320 That's, you know,
00:30:50.320 that's, that's the,
00:30:51.100 that's law enforcement.
00:30:54.300 And if you don't have any mechanism
00:30:55.720 to enforce the law,
00:30:57.240 then the law might not exist.
00:30:59.020 And if you don't have law,
00:31:01.280 then you don't have,
00:31:01.960 you don't have a society.
00:31:04.520 Certainly not a civilized one.
00:31:08.360 So that, that's the,
00:31:09.580 the first and foremost reason
00:31:11.660 why defund the police
00:31:13.480 was always an insane idea
00:31:15.460 because you need the police.
00:31:17.180 And despite what you're told about
00:31:18.520 from, from the left,
00:31:19.540 you cannot replace cops
00:31:20.940 with social workers,
00:31:21.940 replace them with therapists.
00:31:25.560 What about the FBI though?
00:31:27.740 Do we need the FBI
00:31:29.260 at this point?
00:31:31.360 That at the very least
00:31:32.460 is an open question.
00:31:34.580 Okay.
00:31:35.160 The FBI
00:31:36.020 has to fundamentally justify
00:31:38.720 its own existence to us
00:31:39.980 to begin with.
00:31:41.160 There are so many
00:31:44.060 federal
00:31:44.720 law enforcement agencies.
00:31:47.480 There are so many
00:31:48.520 federal agencies
00:31:49.820 and then,
00:31:50.360 and then departments
00:31:51.380 within agencies
00:31:52.380 that have given themselves
00:31:54.280 the power
00:31:54.940 to enforce laws
00:31:56.140 to use deadly force.
00:31:57.560 I mean,
00:31:58.200 as we just reviewed,
00:31:59.360 even the IRS now
00:32:00.600 is a criminal investigations division.
00:32:03.640 They're sending
00:32:04.640 people out with guns.
00:32:06.360 So while
00:32:10.140 the necessity
00:32:10.860 of local law enforcement
00:32:11.940 is clear
00:32:12.700 to any thinking person,
00:32:15.100 when we look
00:32:15.740 at the federal government
00:32:16.680 and their law enforcement agencies
00:32:18.200 and how there are
00:32:19.080 just like dozens of them
00:32:20.460 overlapping each other,
00:32:22.280 I think now
00:32:22.760 we can look at that
00:32:23.260 and say,
00:32:23.520 well,
00:32:23.640 how many of these
00:32:24.080 do we actually need?
00:32:24.960 What are all you people doing?
00:32:27.120 Hey,
00:32:27.440 the criminal enforcement division,
00:32:29.220 the criminal investigation
00:32:29.840 division of the IRS,
00:32:30.920 what are you doing
00:32:31.720 that isn't already done
00:32:32.600 by these other federal agencies?
00:32:34.240 Why do we need you?
00:32:42.160 That's an open question.
00:32:43.140 That's a good question.
00:32:45.300 And it's very clear
00:32:46.180 that at least some of them
00:32:47.200 we don't need at all
00:32:47.980 and should just be abolished.
00:32:51.680 You know,
00:32:52.120 we don't need 75
00:32:53.040 different federal agencies
00:32:54.740 running around with guns
00:32:56.180 fighting the bad guys.
00:33:02.520 All right,
00:33:03.000 let's go to this.
00:33:04.540 Here's a story
00:33:05.000 from the Daily Mail.
00:33:05.980 It's from several days ago
00:33:06.880 that somehow
00:33:07.780 we haven't talked about yet
00:33:08.820 and I want to mention it
00:33:09.480 because of course
00:33:09.880 it's very relevant
00:33:10.420 to the news this week.
00:33:11.920 It says,
00:33:12.260 pediatricians across America
00:33:13.500 are at war
00:33:14.840 with their own
00:33:15.420 professional body
00:33:16.340 over controversial
00:33:17.240 puberty blocking drugs
00:33:18.400 routinely handed to teens
00:33:19.660 wanting to change gender.
00:33:21.800 The top child health experts
00:33:23.020 accused the American Academy of Pediatrics
00:33:25.420 of pushing the harmful drugs
00:33:26.960 on transgender-identifying youngsters
00:33:28.200 according to damning
00:33:29.500 leaked documents.
00:33:30.440 Disturbingly,
00:33:32.860 the documents also reveal
00:33:34.000 experts believe
00:33:34.960 that the APP
00:33:36.660 or that's actually the AAP
00:33:39.700 is deliberately silencing
00:33:41.240 internal criticism
00:33:42.060 by blocking moves
00:33:43.280 for a crucial policy review.
00:33:45.440 The papers leaked
00:33:46.720 by a whistleblower
00:33:47.700 expose how rank-and-file
00:33:49.100 AAP members
00:33:49.960 across the U.S.
00:33:51.160 are slamming
00:33:52.140 the Academy's
00:33:52.880 shoddy drugs-and-hormones-first
00:33:54.460 approach
00:33:54.900 to trans-identifying teens.
00:33:56.500 They insist
00:33:58.000 that many would benefit
00:33:59.720 from counseling
00:34:00.460 or therapy instead.
00:34:01.960 Oh, you think?
00:34:03.780 And urge the professional body
00:34:05.140 to follow a more cautious approach
00:34:06.620 currently being adopted
00:34:07.520 by similar bodies
00:34:08.420 in other countries.
00:34:09.940 Fast-tracking adolescents
00:34:10.920 into powerful drug cocktails
00:34:12.900 takes a huge toll
00:34:14.280 on young bodies
00:34:15.040 and can lead to
00:34:15.940 sterility
00:34:16.740 and osteoporosis
00:34:17.700 according to critics.
00:34:19.800 For many teams,
00:34:20.400 transitioning is celebrated
00:34:21.240 but others regret the treatment
00:34:22.280 and seek reversals.
00:34:23.620 The AAP, for its part,
00:34:26.720 says that its guidelines
00:34:27.580 to reinforce the gender
00:34:29.120 a youth selects
00:34:29.980 including through drugs,
00:34:30.940 cross-sex hormones,
00:34:31.620 and eventually surgery
00:34:32.380 are evidence-based
00:34:34.080 and that it's open
00:34:35.160 to collaborative conversations
00:34:36.960 on policy.
00:34:38.940 But angry AAP members
00:34:41.180 say the Academy
00:34:42.000 changed its rules
00:34:43.000 to block a member-drafted resolution
00:34:44.960 to launch a policy review.
00:34:48.960 And by the way,
00:34:49.840 just a side note here,
00:34:51.280 the AAP says
00:34:53.660 that its guidelines
00:34:54.440 are evidence-based.
00:34:56.220 That's completely false.
00:34:58.100 There's really no evidence
00:34:59.180 to support any of this stuff.
00:35:00.780 And that actually was in,
00:35:03.180 you know,
00:35:03.420 I kind of whittled down
00:35:04.420 the clip that we played
00:35:05.780 of Dr. Montano
00:35:06.780 that we played
00:35:07.140 at the start of the show.
00:35:09.540 That's, like I said,
00:35:10.240 it's a 20-minute interview
00:35:12.100 and it's worth going to YouTube
00:35:13.220 until it's taken down,
00:35:14.280 until they delete it.
00:35:14.900 It's probably already deleted.
00:35:15.760 But if you can watch
00:35:16.500 the whole thing,
00:35:16.860 you should do that.
00:35:17.940 Because there's another
00:35:18.820 interesting point
00:35:19.820 in that interview
00:35:20.300 when he's asked about
00:35:22.580 sort of like long-term studies
00:35:25.740 related to, you know,
00:35:29.780 giving kids
00:35:30.420 these kinds of drugs,
00:35:31.380 puberty blockers,
00:35:32.260 and then comparing that
00:35:33.700 to kids who have
00:35:35.120 gender dysphoria
00:35:36.000 but are not given the drugs.
00:35:38.200 And like long-term,
00:35:39.560 if you compare the two groups,
00:35:41.360 what do the studies say?
00:35:43.160 And he admits in the interview
00:35:44.580 that, well,
00:35:45.280 there aren't any studies.
00:35:46.700 We don't have any studies on that.
00:35:48.000 Which, of course,
00:35:49.840 we don't
00:35:50.140 because we've never been
00:35:50.900 doing this to kids before.
00:35:52.460 Certainly not on this scale
00:35:53.600 or anything close to this scale.
00:35:57.460 So, no,
00:35:58.020 there's no evidence.
00:35:59.200 There are no long-term studies
00:36:00.860 to validate or vindicate
00:36:03.060 or most of the things
00:36:04.840 that we're doing here
00:36:05.380 or any of them.
00:36:08.720 So, evidence-based
00:36:09.920 is a total lie.
00:36:12.760 Now, the reason why
00:36:13.780 the AAP,
00:36:14.540 the American Academy of Pediatrics,
00:36:15.820 has adopted this approach
00:36:17.980 and endorsed it.
00:36:20.700 The reason why
00:36:21.560 it's all politics,
00:36:22.680 it's all ideology
00:36:23.580 all the way down.
00:36:26.800 They are told by WPATH,
00:36:29.340 which is the big
00:36:30.320 transgender health association
00:36:31.920 in the world,
00:36:33.300 and WPATH just tells everyone
00:36:35.880 what the guidelines are
00:36:37.860 for dealing with trans kids,
00:36:39.360 and then all of the other
00:36:40.480 medical institutions
00:36:41.640 and organizations
00:36:42.380 dutifully follow suit
00:36:43.960 without questioning it,
00:36:45.200 without asking any questions
00:36:46.100 or anything.
00:36:47.680 And as we see here
00:36:48.400 from these whistleblowers,
00:36:49.380 if anyone within
00:36:50.080 the organizations
00:36:50.700 does ask questions
00:36:51.920 or raise concerns
00:36:53.220 or raise any red flags,
00:36:54.600 they're silenced.
00:36:57.200 As the Daily Mail says,
00:36:58.720 angry AAP members
00:36:59.960 say the Academy
00:37:00.660 changed its rules
00:37:01.580 to block a member-drafted
00:37:03.120 resolution
00:37:03.540 to launch a policy review.
00:37:05.520 It led to the review
00:37:06.300 being sidelined
00:37:07.580 at the Academy's
00:37:08.320 leadership conference,
00:37:09.600 which ended in Chicago
00:37:10.620 on Monday.
00:37:12.140 Instead, members
00:37:12.780 took the unusual step
00:37:13.700 of airing their concerns
00:37:14.760 in the comments section
00:37:15.760 for a separate resolution
00:37:16.940 in the AAP's
00:37:17.820 member-only website.
00:37:19.540 In the comments
00:37:20.140 leaked to DailyMail.com,
00:37:21.640 AAP members
00:37:22.400 said the Academy
00:37:23.440 was endorsing great harm,
00:37:25.920 that its care package
00:37:26.820 for trans-identified teens
00:37:27.940 was based on scant
00:37:29.060 and shoddy evidence,
00:37:30.760 and that doling out
00:37:31.840 drugs and hormones
00:37:32.540 was unsafe
00:37:33.520 and unsustainable.
00:37:36.260 One pediatrician wrote,
00:37:38.040 before promulgating
00:37:38.900 gender-affirming care
00:37:39.900 with all of its
00:37:40.440 ethical complications,
00:37:42.160 irreversible bodily changes,
00:37:44.100 sterility, etc.,
00:37:45.100 don't we want to be sure
00:37:46.540 that this is the best path?
00:37:49.080 Another member said
00:37:49.820 that there was no good
00:37:51.020 long-term outcome data
00:37:52.740 for those who undergo
00:37:53.600 the arduous physical process
00:37:54.840 of transitioning,
00:37:55.760 and pointed to the
00:37:56.940 37,000 members
00:37:58.020 of an online forum
00:37:58.800 for regretful detransitioners
00:38:00.360 as they are none.
00:38:01.160 Now,
00:38:04.120 it's good
00:38:05.780 that these
00:38:06.400 whistleblowers
00:38:11.380 are coming out
00:38:12.560 and criticizing,
00:38:14.840 but it's not nearly enough.
00:38:19.720 Okay,
00:38:20.140 to do it anonymously
00:38:21.260 is not nearly enough.
00:38:23.760 And I understand.
00:38:25.120 You know,
00:38:27.680 if you're a pediatrician
00:38:28.740 and you come out
00:38:29.440 against the AAP publicly
00:38:31.180 and you do so
00:38:32.360 on the trans stuff,
00:38:34.000 you know,
00:38:35.080 you're putting your career
00:38:35.660 on the line.
00:38:37.580 Career you've worked hard for,
00:38:40.000 spent a lot of time
00:38:40.840 in school,
00:38:41.440 spent a lot of money
00:38:42.060 on the student loans.
00:38:44.700 To put that on the line,
00:38:45.980 that takes a lot of courage.
00:38:48.160 There's no understating
00:38:49.440 the amount of courage
00:38:50.040 it takes to put
00:38:50.920 your entire career
00:38:51.520 on the line,
00:38:51.880 but that is what's required.
00:38:54.960 Okay,
00:38:55.220 so if you're a pediatrician
00:38:56.300 and I hear from pediatricians
00:38:57.500 all the time actually.
00:39:00.220 Again,
00:39:00.640 never wanting to go
00:39:01.220 on the record,
00:39:02.200 but they'll message me
00:39:03.340 privately and say,
00:39:04.200 hey,
00:39:04.320 I agree with everything
00:39:04.940 you say on this stuff.
00:39:06.380 Keep saying it.
00:39:08.880 So I know that there are
00:39:09.840 some listening to me
00:39:10.780 right now
00:39:11.240 and what I want to say
00:39:11.940 to you
00:39:12.300 is that it is not
00:39:14.260 good enough
00:39:14.880 to be anonymous.
00:39:16.720 You have a responsibility
00:39:18.020 to speak up publicly
00:39:19.640 and put your name on it.
00:39:21.880 And if you want to do that
00:39:26.180 and you want a platform,
00:39:27.300 if you're ready
00:39:28.040 and willing
00:39:28.680 to come out publicly
00:39:30.420 and speak out
00:39:31.020 against this stuff,
00:39:32.100 especially if you're
00:39:32.580 a member of the
00:39:33.180 American Academy of Pediatrics
00:39:35.300 and you're ready
00:39:37.440 to do the right thing
00:39:38.420 with your name on it,
00:39:40.160 then reach out to me.
00:39:43.620 I'll make sure
00:39:44.460 that your concerns are heard
00:39:45.500 because when you voice them
00:39:47.280 anonymously on message boards
00:39:48.820 and in comment sections
00:39:49.920 and you send private emails
00:39:52.040 to conservative podcasters,
00:39:54.220 that doesn't do anything.
00:39:58.800 I mean,
00:39:59.340 you're the first line of defense.
00:40:00.480 You're the people that we need
00:40:01.300 because I can sit here
00:40:04.960 all day and forever,
00:40:06.580 which I will,
00:40:07.560 speaking out against this stuff.
00:40:08.800 But what I'm always going
00:40:12.360 to run into
00:40:12.860 is the claim,
00:40:14.100 oh, you're not a doctor,
00:40:14.980 you're not an expert,
00:40:16.180 which of course is irrelevant.
00:40:19.140 You don't need to be a doctor
00:40:20.040 or an expert to know
00:40:21.080 that you shouldn't mutilate
00:40:22.320 and castrate children.
00:40:24.160 All you need is common sense
00:40:25.400 and a soul,
00:40:27.100 which is something
00:40:28.060 sorely lacking on the left,
00:40:29.920 which explains
00:40:31.300 how we got here.
00:40:32.060 But whether it should or not,
00:40:36.740 the expertise and all that,
00:40:38.560 it does matter to people.
00:40:41.880 So it would be a lot more powerful.
00:40:44.600 I mean,
00:40:44.800 there should be
00:40:45.560 press conferences
00:40:47.200 with whole groups
00:40:49.140 of pediatricians
00:40:50.140 speaking out against this,
00:40:52.000 answering questions,
00:40:53.680 explaining their position,
00:40:55.540 talking about what's going on
00:40:56.780 behind the scenes.
00:40:57.600 And until that happens,
00:41:05.520 this isn't going to get any better.
00:41:09.320 All right.
00:41:09.920 One other thing I got to,
00:41:11.140 this is just
00:41:11.660 really
00:41:13.900 sort of on a health note.
00:41:16.620 This is from CNN.
00:41:17.480 It says,
00:41:17.760 early in the pandemic,
00:41:18.640 people couldn't get enough pizza.
00:41:20.300 Now, not so much.
00:41:22.080 Papa John's sales are still up,
00:41:23.500 but growth is slowing.
00:41:24.780 In the second quarter,
00:41:25.440 sales at its North American restaurants
00:41:27.220 open at least a year
00:41:28.520 grew just under 1%.
00:41:30.420 And what that has led to
00:41:33.080 at Papa John's
00:41:34.520 is that they're getting
00:41:36.340 a little bit more creative,
00:41:38.000 trying to figure out
00:41:38.400 how to get people
00:41:38.780 to buy pizza again.
00:41:40.400 So to get people excited
00:41:41.760 about pizza again,
00:41:42.580 Papa John's is offering
00:41:43.380 a new spin on the classic
00:41:44.740 with Papa bowls
00:41:46.180 that are all topping,
00:41:48.560 no crust.
00:41:49.940 The Papa bowl
00:41:50.640 comes in three varieties.
00:41:51.700 Maybe we'll get a picture up
00:41:52.440 on the screen to show you
00:41:53.220 so you can see
00:41:54.120 these monstrosities.
00:41:55.560 Garden veggie,
00:41:56.420 chicken alfredo,
00:41:57.520 and Italian meats trio.
00:41:59.220 And so what they're selling now,
00:42:00.700 to summarize,
00:42:01.980 it's just,
00:42:03.000 they figured,
00:42:03.480 like,
00:42:03.640 no one wants to buy their pizza.
00:42:05.040 And so they say,
00:42:05.540 oh, you don't want our pizza.
00:42:06.520 We'll just put all of our toppings
00:42:07.780 in a bowl
00:42:08.560 and slather some sauce on it.
00:42:10.580 And will you guys eat that?
00:42:13.040 Will you shovel this
00:42:13.740 into your mouths?
00:42:15.700 The only reason I mention this story,
00:42:16.820 again,
00:42:16.960 it's really a public health warning.
00:42:18.620 Okay,
00:42:18.840 this is like a PSA.
00:42:20.780 Do not eat
00:42:21.840 a dish
00:42:23.060 of pizza toppings
00:42:24.040 from a place like Papa John's.
00:42:25.720 Just don't do it.
00:42:26.660 Trust me.
00:42:27.360 I've worked at these kinds
00:42:28.440 of pizza places.
00:42:29.320 I've never worked at Papa John's
00:42:30.360 specifically,
00:42:30.960 but I've worked at the pizza chain places.
00:42:32.720 They're all basically the same.
00:42:34.280 And I can tell you
00:42:35.740 that these toppings,
00:42:38.180 they're not even real food.
00:42:39.400 They're made of essentially styrofoam.
00:42:41.440 They come in these big plastic bags.
00:42:43.960 And they sit out
00:42:45.280 at room temperature
00:42:46.360 for like days at a time.
00:42:49.240 And if they drop on the ground,
00:42:50.720 they're swept up in a dustbin
00:42:52.120 and just like dumped
00:42:53.080 right back into the container.
00:42:54.600 I've seen it happen.
00:42:57.080 And now they want to put it all
00:42:58.320 in a bowl
00:42:58.740 and have you shoveled
00:42:59.760 into your mouth.
00:43:00.200 Don't do it.
00:43:03.100 Is it just me also,
00:43:04.280 by the way,
00:43:04.760 and maybe this is my imagination,
00:43:06.340 but is pizza getting worse?
00:43:08.840 Am I losing my taste for it
00:43:10.120 or is it getting worse?
00:43:10.720 Because it seems like
00:43:11.280 all these chain places,
00:43:12.920 Domino's and Papa John's
00:43:13.860 in particular,
00:43:14.740 the quality of the pizza.
00:43:17.760 It wasn't great back
00:43:18.760 when I worked at these places,
00:43:19.580 but it seems to be getting worse.
00:43:21.320 That's a crisis
00:43:21.980 we should be looking into.
00:43:24.260 Let's get to our comment section.
00:43:25.880 If you're a man,
00:43:27.000 it's required that you grow a bit.
00:43:29.060 Hey, we're the sweet baby gang.
00:43:36.020 Nobody likes to spend money
00:43:37.440 on their cars.
00:43:38.960 You know, you buy it,
00:43:39.800 you drive it,
00:43:40.320 you want it to run forever,
00:43:41.460 maintenance free.
00:43:42.160 Unfortunately,
00:43:42.860 that's just not the way things work.
00:43:44.880 Snap out of it,
00:43:45.780 get back into reality.
00:43:46.940 Cars require upkeep, okay?
00:43:48.480 The same way your house requires upkeep.
00:43:50.620 The good news
00:43:51.040 is that you can maintain your car for less
00:43:53.100 when you shop for auto parts
00:43:54.580 at rockauto.com.
00:43:56.040 Chain stores have different price tiers
00:43:57.680 for professional mechanics
00:43:58.560 and do-it-yourselfers,
00:43:59.840 but rockauto.com's prices
00:44:01.360 are the same for everybody,
00:44:02.820 and they're also reliably low for everybody.
00:44:04.980 That's the best part.
00:44:06.100 Rockauto.com has been in the auto parts business
00:44:08.180 for 20 years,
00:44:09.160 family-owned their goals
00:44:10.540 to make auto parts available
00:44:11.880 and affordable
00:44:12.420 to keep you safe on the road.
00:44:14.680 They not only have the auto parts you need,
00:44:16.600 but they will give you a selection
00:44:17.780 of trusted brands to choose from.
00:44:20.160 The rockauto.com catalog
00:44:21.060 is remarkably easy to navigate.
00:44:22.540 Quickly see all the parts available
00:44:23.780 for your vehicle
00:44:24.780 and choose the brand specifications
00:44:26.240 and prices you prefer.
00:44:27.780 Amazing selection,
00:44:28.780 reliably low prices,
00:44:29.780 all the parts you'll ever need.
00:44:31.620 Rockauto.com.
00:44:32.440 Go to rockauto.com right now
00:44:33.720 and get brakes,
00:44:34.380 shocks, carpets,
00:44:35.140 wipers,
00:44:35.480 headlights,
00:44:35.840 everything you need
00:44:36.340 at rockauto.com
00:44:37.800 and be sure to write Walsh
00:44:38.820 in their how-did-you-hear-about-us box
00:44:39.960 so they know that I sent you.
00:44:43.040 NKFD says,
00:44:43.860 Matt,
00:44:44.160 gotta make your sweet baby gang
00:44:45.820 a stochastic terrorist T-shirt.
00:44:48.240 You're right.
00:44:48.620 I don't know how we didn't think of that.
00:44:49.600 We do need...
00:44:51.100 I think we need that.
00:44:52.440 We gotta get that on there.
00:44:54.000 Or at least,
00:44:54.480 maybe that's a badge.
00:44:56.700 We could put that in a patch program
00:44:57.820 when you become a terrorist.
00:44:59.340 Meat Lover says,
00:45:05.080 I wish the DW had someone
00:45:06.380 that was more knowledgeable on guns
00:45:08.060 and focused more on them
00:45:09.500 since there are things
00:45:10.400 that go on in the gun world
00:45:11.600 that isn't covered by the DW
00:45:13.420 like a lot of the stupid things
00:45:15.620 that the ATF does.
00:45:18.340 I think we cover the gun issues
00:45:19.900 pretty well.
00:45:23.520 But you're right.
00:45:24.380 It is an important issue.
00:45:25.960 There are...
00:45:26.960 I think among conservatives,
00:45:32.820 it's like we can't focus
00:45:34.140 on every issue.
00:45:37.600 You can't give special focus
00:45:38.860 to every issue.
00:45:40.360 And different conservatives
00:45:41.540 have different things
00:45:42.280 that they're especially focused on.
00:45:43.420 And for me,
00:45:43.820 it's always been culture, family.
00:45:46.640 Those are the issues
00:45:47.460 that I care the most about,
00:45:48.780 which isn't to say
00:45:49.360 that the other issues don't matter.
00:45:51.400 I just think that culture issues
00:45:53.340 are foundational.
00:45:56.960 Don't Be Woke says,
00:46:00.280 Matt hasn't dressed
00:46:01.040 like a lumberjack in a while.
00:46:02.640 Does his new office
00:46:03.660 have a dress code?
00:46:06.300 No, I've just been told.
00:46:08.340 In fact, the way it's been phrased to me
00:46:09.380 is I need to start dressing
00:46:10.140 like an adult.
00:46:12.740 And so this is my version of that.
00:46:16.840 I don't know how long
00:46:17.620 it's going to last.
00:46:18.740 I said I'd try it out.
00:46:20.680 I'll try classing it up
00:46:21.780 a little bit for a little while
00:46:22.820 and we'll see how long it lasts.
00:46:23.800 But I'm not making any promises.
00:46:27.460 Suicide Production says,
00:46:28.560 I initially thought stochastic
00:46:29.960 was a blending of the words
00:46:31.540 stoic and sarcastic,
00:46:33.380 which would exactly define Matt Walsh.
00:46:35.320 Well, that kind of terrorist I am.
00:46:37.220 That I would admit.
00:46:38.460 Mark says,
00:46:39.520 Hi, Matt.
00:46:40.160 You often talk about
00:46:41.100 fighting fire with fire
00:46:42.440 and I respect that.
00:46:43.960 My question is,
00:46:44.760 where do you draw the line
00:46:45.740 with the left?
00:46:46.420 Will you always give them
00:46:47.360 a dose of their own medicine?
00:46:48.700 Is there any tactic
00:46:49.540 the left uses
00:46:50.420 that you will not use?
00:46:52.600 I love this question
00:46:53.600 and I took some time
00:46:54.600 to think about it.
00:46:55.080 It is a good question.
00:46:55.640 And I do believe in general
00:46:58.760 that we shouldn't
00:47:00.360 be squeamish
00:47:02.800 and kind of handicap ourselves
00:47:04.520 by refusing
00:47:06.940 to fight fire with fire
00:47:08.520 or use their own tactics
00:47:09.620 against them.
00:47:12.060 But does that apply
00:47:13.540 across the board?
00:47:14.340 Is there anything in general
00:47:16.000 that they will do
00:47:17.280 against their opposition
00:47:19.660 that I would not do
00:47:21.060 against them?
00:47:21.720 And actually,
00:47:23.160 the answer is yes.
00:47:24.400 There's one thing.
00:47:26.040 There is one tactic
00:47:27.620 that the left uses
00:47:29.640 all the time
00:47:31.840 that I will not use.
00:47:34.680 Even if it means I'm,
00:47:35.900 you know,
00:47:36.180 tying one hand
00:47:36.820 behind my back
00:47:37.340 essentially in the fight.
00:47:38.280 And that is,
00:47:38.800 I won't lie.
00:47:40.120 That's the one thing
00:47:40.820 I won't do.
00:47:41.260 I will aggressively
00:47:46.100 confront them
00:47:47.920 on any subject.
00:47:49.840 And I'm not going
00:47:50.560 to be squeamish about it,
00:47:51.540 but I'm not going
00:47:52.020 to just make things up.
00:47:53.080 I'm not going to lie.
00:47:54.880 Like they do.
00:47:56.580 Like they do against me,
00:47:57.700 against,
00:47:57.940 like they do against
00:47:58.740 all of their enemies.
00:48:01.500 And the reason I won't lie
00:48:02.680 is that,
00:48:03.020 well,
00:48:03.120 first of all,
00:48:03.720 it's just,
00:48:04.100 it's not ultimately,
00:48:05.220 I don't think it's
00:48:05.680 a good strategy.
00:48:06.380 In putting the ethical
00:48:09.040 and moral question
00:48:09.980 aside for a moment,
00:48:10.860 it's just,
00:48:11.140 it's not a good strategy.
00:48:12.420 You weaken your case
00:48:13.480 when you lie.
00:48:14.920 It's also not necessary.
00:48:16.260 Like I don't need
00:48:16.720 to tell lies about them.
00:48:17.920 All I need to do
00:48:18.920 is say what they're
00:48:19.720 actually doing
00:48:20.460 and point out
00:48:22.540 what they're actually saying.
00:48:26.140 But,
00:48:26.720 but also it is
00:48:28.120 objectively immoral.
00:48:32.120 And it lessens you,
00:48:34.160 you know,
00:48:34.740 as a person.
00:48:36.380 When you resort
00:48:37.080 to defamation,
00:48:38.620 slander,
00:48:39.120 and all those kinds of things.
00:48:41.500 So,
00:48:42.000 while they're doing that to me,
00:48:43.120 especially this week,
00:48:44.700 as I've talked about
00:48:45.640 on this show,
00:48:46.240 like it's,
00:48:46.600 I've,
00:48:47.060 of course they've always
00:48:47.960 done this,
00:48:48.520 but this week in particular,
00:48:50.220 they've gone,
00:48:51.420 it's gone into hyperdrive.
00:48:53.900 They're fabricating
00:48:55.100 screenshots
00:48:55.980 of things I never said.
00:48:57.700 They're photoshopping.
00:48:58.640 They're doing all of this.
00:49:01.340 And,
00:49:01.820 um,
00:49:02.680 that I will not do in return.
00:49:05.380 But again,
00:49:06.040 no need to,
00:49:06.900 either.
00:49:09.060 You know,
00:49:09.720 I don't need to invent
00:49:11.820 horrifying things
00:49:12.640 that they've said
00:49:13.200 or supported.
00:49:15.400 The truth is all
00:49:16.340 I really need.
00:49:17.840 You know,
00:49:18.040 whenever I get into a spat
00:49:19.000 with somebody on Twitter
00:49:19.820 over something
00:49:20.340 that I supposedly tweeted,
00:49:21.560 it's usually because
00:49:22.200 they didn't actually
00:49:22.920 read what I wrote.
00:49:23.880 Reading is a lost art
00:49:25.040 on Twitter,
00:49:26.320 but that's not the case
00:49:27.280 on Daily Wire Plus.
00:49:28.380 Ben Shapiro's book club

00:49:37.460 to hear Ben

00:49:43.380 So what you've got to do
00:49:44.040 first is go to

00:49:45.660 to become a member today
00:49:46.700 and join Ben tonight
00:49:48.480 at 8 p.m. Eastern.
00:49:49.960 Now let's get to
00:49:50.420 our daily cancellation.
00:49:51.080 A few months
00:49:56.680 after the Washington Post
00:49:58.320 featured an editorial
00:49:59.480 written by a George Washington
00:50:00.940 University student
00:50:01.900 urging that the university
00:50:03.100 be renamed,
00:50:04.440 the editorial board
00:50:05.200 for the University of Virginia
00:50:06.080 has now taken up
00:50:07.000 a similar cause
00:50:07.800 at their own school.
00:50:08.820 The editors of the
00:50:09.540 student newspaper,
00:50:10.660 which is called
00:50:11.020 the Cavalier Daily,
00:50:12.200 published an op-ed this week
00:50:13.360 calling for UVA
00:50:14.600 to do more
00:50:15.560 in the name of
00:50:16.460 inclusivity and equity.
00:50:18.340 Specifically,
00:50:19.020 they want the memory
00:50:19.700 of Thomas Jefferson,
00:50:20.500 the school's founder,
00:50:21.980 to be finally
00:50:22.680 and totally erased
00:50:24.100 once and for all.
00:50:25.200 All mentions of him
00:50:26.180 and references to him
00:50:26.940 must be destroyed,
00:50:28.620 they insist.
00:50:29.740 Reading now from the article,
00:50:30.640 they say,
00:50:31.320 we reject how the university's
00:50:32.800 physical environment,
00:50:33.860 one that glorifies
00:50:34.740 racist slaveholders
00:50:36.180 and eugenicists
00:50:37.000 with statues and buildings
00:50:38.360 named in their honor,
00:50:39.360 upholds an enduring culture
00:50:40.760 of white supremacy.
00:50:42.160 There's a reason why
00:50:43.040 Charlottesville's
00:50:43.880 local Ku Klux Klan chapter
00:50:45.840 hosted its inauguration ceremony
00:50:47.360 at Jefferson's
00:50:48.440 Monticello tomb.
00:50:49.520 There's a reason why
00:50:50.820 white supremacists
00:50:51.600 gathered with tortures
00:50:52.500 around Jefferson's statue
00:50:53.560 on the north side
00:50:54.140 of the rotunda.
00:50:55.020 There's a reason why
00:50:55.860 they felt comfortable
00:50:56.520 marching through grounds.
00:50:58.320 Our physical environment,
00:50:59.440 from statues to buildings,
00:51:01.220 building named
00:51:02.380 to Jefferson's
00:51:03.540 overwhelming presence,
00:51:05.000 exalts people
00:51:05.720 who held the same beliefs
00:51:07.080 as the repugnant
00:51:07.840 white supremacists
00:51:08.620 in the attendance
00:51:09.280 at the Unite the Right
00:51:10.640 rally.
00:51:11.920 These buildings
00:51:12.680 must be renamed
00:51:13.580 and the memorials
00:51:14.860 must be removed.
00:51:15.720 But, you know,
00:51:17.080 as always,
00:51:17.840 this is not enough
00:51:19.520 because nothing ever is.
00:51:21.140 The editors continue
00:51:22.240 making demands
00:51:22.980 and here's what
00:51:23.380 they say next.
00:51:24.600 It's our belief
00:51:25.220 that future education
00:51:26.640 about Charlottesville
00:51:27.500 and university history
00:51:28.360 should be two things,
00:51:30.200 mandatory
00:51:30.600 and continuous.
00:51:32.800 All students
00:51:33.520 should be required
00:51:34.300 to learn about Charlottesville
00:51:35.420 and the university's
00:51:36.500 racist roots
00:51:37.320 and more recent history,
00:51:38.800 including the
00:51:39.240 Unite the Right rally.
00:51:40.920 Educating students
00:51:41.580 on these topics
00:51:42.140 should continue
00:51:42.780 over the course
00:51:43.360 of their four years
00:51:44.140 of the university.
00:51:45.160 Historically,
00:51:46.080 the university
00:51:46.500 has contributed
00:51:47.080 to displacement,
00:51:48.100 erasure,
00:51:48.600 and discrimination
00:51:49.060 of Charlottesville communities,
00:51:50.280 especially its black residents.
00:51:51.900 Individual students
00:51:52.700 and alumni
00:51:53.260 replicate this harm too.
00:51:55.580 Jason Kessler
00:51:56.300 and Richard Spencer,
00:51:57.180 white supremacists
00:51:57.880 and organizers
00:51:58.380 of the deadly
00:51:58.960 Unite the Right rally
00:51:59.920 are both alumni.
00:52:01.740 The university
00:52:02.140 also educated
00:52:02.820 Paul McIntyre,
00:52:03.900 the namesake
00:52:04.460 of the McIntyre
00:52:05.220 School of Commerce,
00:52:06.380 McIntyre Department of Art,
00:52:07.720 and McIntyre Amphitheater,
00:52:08.980 who funded the construction
00:52:09.960 of the Robert E. Lee
00:52:10.840 and Thomas Stonewall
00:52:11.860 Jackson statues.
00:52:13.180 And of course,
00:52:13.580 these two statues
00:52:14.280 were the same
00:52:14.980 whose pending removal
00:52:15.820 played a significant role
00:52:16.860 in inciting
00:52:17.320 the Unite the Right rally itself.
00:52:19.100 We cannot ignore
00:52:19.780 the reality
00:52:20.360 that the university
00:52:21.420 has always played
00:52:22.260 a significant role
00:52:23.040 in the lives
00:52:23.940 of Charlottesville residents.
00:52:26.420 Now,
00:52:27.020 we learned something
00:52:27.600 important here
00:52:28.100 if we hadn't learned it already.
00:52:29.680 The left is not,
00:52:31.960 as they're often accused,
00:52:33.860 setting out
00:52:34.460 to simply erase history.
00:52:36.660 Now,
00:52:36.820 if you're not paying
00:52:37.340 close enough attention,
00:52:39.400 if you're only ever reading
00:52:40.260 the first paragraph
00:52:41.100 but not going on
00:52:42.040 to the second,
00:52:43.200 you may come to
00:52:44.320 the erroneous conclusion
00:52:45.500 that they want to
00:52:46.300 wipe away all traces
00:52:47.740 of our history
00:52:48.440 and just kind of live
00:52:49.880 as though the world
00:52:50.640 came into being
00:52:51.520 last Wednesday.
00:52:52.820 It may seem,
00:52:53.720 on first cursory glance,
00:52:55.060 that they seek to
00:52:56.060 live in some sort
00:52:57.020 of time warp,
00:52:57.980 in some kind of void,
00:52:59.660 where there is no past,
00:53:00.960 no future,
00:53:01.940 just an eternal now.
00:53:03.980 If that's all
00:53:05.040 they were trying to do,
00:53:06.220 it would be bad enough.
00:53:08.160 Because human societies
00:53:09.340 throughout history
00:53:09.980 have always,
00:53:10.860 until ours,
00:53:12.240 cherished their connection
00:53:13.420 to the past.
00:53:14.900 In ancient cultures,
00:53:15.860 this often took the form
00:53:17.480 of actual ancestor worship.
00:53:20.360 Far from trying
00:53:21.000 to erase their ancestors,
00:53:22.580 they would venerate
00:53:23.520 their ancestors
00:53:24.320 as deities.
00:53:26.500 Now,
00:53:26.700 this was a primitive approach
00:53:28.020 based on superstition,
00:53:29.240 not a system that I would
00:53:30.120 advocate a return to,
00:53:31.840 but it was at least
00:53:32.980 grounded in the innate
00:53:34.220 human understanding
00:53:35.360 that our past
00:53:36.940 is important
00:53:37.560 and our ancestors
00:53:39.500 have much to teach us
00:53:40.800 if only we are
00:53:41.480 humble enough to listen.
00:53:43.800 The ancestor worshipers
00:53:45.320 had more wisdom,
00:53:46.480 at least,
00:53:47.380 than the pretentious
00:53:48.280 pampered college students
00:53:49.460 who,
00:53:50.180 rather than making deities
00:53:51.300 of their ancestors,
00:53:52.360 instead make demons
00:53:53.320 of them.
00:53:54.720 And that's the important point.
00:53:57.140 You know,
00:53:57.360 that they're not actually
00:53:58.460 erasing the past.
00:54:00.400 Or at least,
00:54:01.140 they're not merely erasing it.
00:54:02.640 They are rather
00:54:03.440 replacing it.
00:54:05.360 Yes,
00:54:05.960 they want all mention
00:54:06.840 of Thomas Jefferson,
00:54:07.740 the man who founded
00:54:08.440 the institution,
00:54:09.300 that they're paying
00:54:09.820 thousands of dollars
00:54:10.620 to attend.
00:54:11.500 They want all that
00:54:12.180 removed from view.
00:54:13.880 Speaking of the ancient past,
00:54:15.360 these spoiled,
00:54:16.120 worthless brats
00:54:16.940 see themselves as emperors
00:54:18.360 or Egyptian pharaohs,
00:54:19.620 kind of waving their hands
00:54:21.020 and demanding that
00:54:21.700 their physical environment
00:54:22.560 be rearranged
00:54:23.880 to their liking.
00:54:25.220 Even if it means
00:54:26.080 demolishing monuments
00:54:27.080 and statues
00:54:27.600 that have stood since
00:54:28.680 long before they were born.
00:54:30.800 But in the void
00:54:31.780 that they create,
00:54:33.060 they install something else.
00:54:35.420 They want a new story
00:54:36.720 of our history
00:54:37.440 to be told.
00:54:38.440 And they want that story
00:54:39.800 to be one of shame
00:54:40.920 and guilt.
00:54:42.580 They don't want us
00:54:43.420 to forget our ancestors,
00:54:44.720 far from it.
00:54:45.480 They want us to revile them,
00:54:46.800 hate them,
00:54:47.380 dwell on their shortcomings,
00:54:48.760 whether real or imagined.
00:54:50.900 They want to pay
00:54:51.760 tens of thousands
00:54:52.540 of dollars
00:54:52.960 to the University of Virginia
00:54:53.840 only so that they can
00:54:55.340 spend four years
00:54:56.300 learning how awful
00:54:57.920 the University of Virginia
00:54:59.280 is and what an evil
00:55:00.420 scoundrel was
00:55:01.260 the man who founded it.
00:55:02.160 They want the story
00:55:04.300 of Jefferson's
00:55:04.960 myriad achievements,
00:55:06.040 his enduring
00:55:06.660 and positive contributions
00:55:07.860 to our nation
00:55:08.900 and to human civilization,
00:55:10.020 his greatness.
00:55:10.940 They want all that
00:55:11.540 to be silenced.
00:55:13.300 They want all those pages
00:55:14.400 ripped out of the book.
00:55:16.680 But they want his sins
00:55:17.820 to remain
00:55:18.300 because that's all
00:55:20.060 they want to focus on
00:55:21.100 or learn about.
00:55:23.180 That's the only reason
00:55:24.020 they want Jefferson remembered
00:55:24.980 or indeed anyone else
00:55:26.860 in history remembered.
00:55:27.520 Why?
00:55:30.420 Well,
00:55:31.640 partially,
00:55:32.340 you know,
00:55:32.660 it's just virtue signaling.
00:55:34.900 Partially,
00:55:35.500 they're just abiding
00:55:36.460 by the demands
00:55:37.240 of their ideology
00:55:38.080 without thinking
00:55:38.640 much about it.
00:55:40.220 They've been indoctrinated
00:55:41.720 with a simple equation
00:55:42.940 which is
00:55:43.480 old white guy
00:55:44.580 equals evil
00:55:45.500 and they're merely
00:55:47.120 applying that formula here.
00:55:49.500 These are extremely
00:55:50.580 shallow
00:55:51.220 and stupid people
00:55:52.480 and their stupidity
00:55:53.860 and shallowness
00:55:54.560 are factors
00:55:55.160 that cannot be overlooked
00:55:56.360 when analyzing their behavior.
00:55:58.240 Because whatever else
00:55:59.060 you might say
00:55:59.860 about somebody
00:56:00.540 who can't appreciate
00:56:01.800 the greatness
00:56:02.420 of a man like
00:56:03.120 Thomas Jefferson,
00:56:03.980 you must also say
00:56:05.320 that such a person
00:56:06.400 is incredibly dumb.
00:56:08.980 And the fact
00:56:09.580 that our nation
00:56:10.080 is giving birth
00:56:10.840 to so many
00:56:11.480 of these drooling dimwits
00:56:12.860 is a matter
00:56:13.820 of grave significance.
00:56:16.460 But,
00:56:17.080 it's not just
00:56:17.780 stupidity driving this.
00:56:20.000 These people
00:56:20.840 prowling around
00:56:21.900 casually calling
00:56:22.920 for the removal
00:56:23.540 of monuments,
00:56:24.560 the renaming
00:56:25.120 of buildings,
00:56:25.880 etc.
00:56:26.360 they're not only
00:56:27.580 brain-dead simpletons,
00:56:28.960 they're also
00:56:29.700 insecure narcissists.
00:56:31.760 And if I were
00:56:32.380 to attempt
00:56:32.720 to psychologically
00:56:33.600 profile these people,
00:56:34.880 I would say
00:56:35.280 that aside
00:56:35.680 from their
00:56:36.020 neurological deficits,
00:56:37.540 which are significant,
00:56:39.100 and even aside
00:56:39.700 from their
00:56:40.000 ideological commitments,
00:56:41.440 the number one
00:56:42.100 factor driving
00:56:42.820 their war
00:56:43.440 on our history,
00:56:44.600 I think,
00:56:46.000 is their own
00:56:46.600 feeling of inadequacy
00:56:48.120 and mediocrity.
00:56:51.200 Whatever else
00:56:52.000 they achieve
00:56:52.540 by writing off
00:56:53.540 the great men
00:56:54.120 and women of history
00:56:54.820 as nothing
00:56:55.180 but evil scumbags,
00:56:56.100 they principally
00:56:57.240 succeed in making
00:56:58.180 themselves feel
00:56:59.780 better about
00:57:00.820 themselves.
00:57:02.640 And wherever
00:57:03.520 the left is concerned,
00:57:04.520 what we always have
00:57:05.080 to understand is
00:57:05.740 whatever they are
00:57:06.420 doing,
00:57:08.120 always,
00:57:08.880 100% of the time,
00:57:10.500 the primary motivation
00:57:11.720 is because it makes
00:57:12.740 them feel better
00:57:13.480 about themselves.
00:57:14.120 They never do
00:57:15.200 anything or say
00:57:16.680 anything if it
00:57:17.680 doesn't make them
00:57:18.260 feel better about
00:57:18.840 themselves.
00:57:19.300 That is the number
00:57:20.300 one motivation
00:57:20.920 always,
00:57:22.620 always.
00:57:23.020 And in this case,
00:57:25.200 it's a clever trick
00:57:25.940 in some ways.
00:57:27.740 Under normal
00:57:28.420 circumstances,
00:57:29.100 you know,
00:57:29.240 a person determined
00:57:29.980 to be greater
00:57:30.700 than Thomas Jefferson
00:57:31.600 or George Washington
00:57:32.320 would have their
00:57:33.140 work cut out for them.
00:57:34.080 It would be very
00:57:34.860 difficult to climb
00:57:36.100 to higher heights
00:57:37.120 than the summit
00:57:38.340 that those men
00:57:39.000 reached.
00:57:40.740 Unless, of course,
00:57:41.580 you cut them down.
00:57:43.760 In which case,
00:57:44.560 you can stand
00:57:45.000 taller than them
00:57:45.760 simply by standing
00:57:46.500 in place.
00:57:46.900 They have all
00:57:49.100 at once
00:57:49.480 elevated themselves,
00:57:51.720 made themselves
00:57:52.300 greater,
00:57:52.900 in their own
00:57:53.240 minds anyway,
00:57:54.300 by denigrating
00:57:55.240 and desecrating
00:57:55.920 everyone who
00:57:56.500 came before them.
00:57:58.080 They achieve
00:57:58.900 for themselves
00:57:59.500 a totally
00:58:00.220 unearned sense
00:58:01.280 of superiority
00:58:01.840 and even
00:58:02.780 accomplishment
00:58:03.460 by erasing
00:58:05.100 the accomplishments
00:58:05.740 of men
00:58:06.340 far greater
00:58:06.880 than themselves.
00:58:08.340 It is,
00:58:09.280 in C.S.
00:58:09.660 Lewis's phrase,
00:58:10.460 chronological
00:58:11.100 snobbery,
00:58:11.780 but in the extreme.
00:58:13.780 They believe
00:58:14.160 themselves to be
00:58:14.780 better than
00:58:15.400 all who came
00:58:15.920 before them
00:58:16.320 simply because
00:58:17.140 they're living
00:58:18.020 today as
00:58:19.400 opposed to
00:58:19.780 having lived
00:58:20.280 in the past.
00:58:22.400 Self-delusion
00:58:23.320 and narcissism.
00:58:25.100 Those are the
00:58:25.740 things you always
00:58:26.200 find buried
00:58:26.820 underneath,
00:58:28.080 wherever these
00:58:28.640 people are
00:58:29.380 concerned,
00:58:30.260 which is why
00:58:30.900 they are today
00:58:31.560 canceled.
00:58:34.020 And that'll do it
00:58:34.620 for this portion
00:58:35.200 of the show.
00:58:35.980 We head over
00:58:36.380 to our
00:58:36.640 members-only
00:58:37.160 section and
00:58:38.400 we'll see you
00:58:38.800 over there and
00:58:39.400 if not,
00:58:40.320 we'll see you
00:58:40.660 tomorrow.
00:58:40.980 Godspeed.
00:58:46.320 Godspeed.
00:58:48.000 Godspeed.
00:58:48.320 Godspeed.
00:58:48.560 Godspeed.
00:58:49.400 Godspeed.
00:58:50.700 Godspeed.
00:58:51.520 Godspeed.
00:58:53.020 Godspeed.
00:58:53.320 Godspeed.
00:58:53.560 God fever.
00:58:53.880 Godspeed.
00:58:57.300 Godspeed.
00:59:03.740 Godspeed.
00:59:05.020 Godspeed.
00:59:06.140 Godspeed.
00:59:07.120 Godspeed.
00:59:07.600 Godspeed.
00:59:07.880 Godspeed.
00:59:07.900 Godspeed.
00:59:08.440 Godspeed.
00:59:08.960 Godspeed.
00:59:09.540 Godspeed.
