00:02:45.180 It started in 2018 with the unveiling of Vanderbilt's new Transgender Clinic.

00:02:48.920 And they were motivated to get into the gender transition game,

00:02:52.200 in large part because of all the money there is to be made from it.

00:02:55.720 Which in and of itself is maybe not a revelation that they like making money from this.

00:03:00.340 But it was still interesting to hear the video that we played of a doctor

00:03:03.000 boasting about the profitability of transition surgeries, quote unquote.

00:03:11.780 which is the construction of an artificial penis using skin peeled off of the arm or elsewhere on the body,

00:03:16.160 is such a big, quote, moneymaker that some clinics can thrive financially just by performing those surgeries alone.

00:03:24.460 Well, because, as she says, they're labor intensive and also because they require lots of follow-up.

00:04:28.220 Vanderbilt also enlisted an army of trans activists

00:04:30.800 to actually attend appointments with trans patients to include children

00:04:35.580 and conduct essentially surveillance of the doctors,

00:04:39.320 making sure that they're all affirming of the trans identity.

00:04:43.080 And then, of course, there's the pediatric gender clinic,

00:04:45.840 which grew out of the overall transgender clinic.

00:04:52.920 as much as we hear denials about this sort of thing now,

00:04:57.220 the fact is that Vanderbilt gives chemical castration drugs to young children.

00:05:53.040 Senator Marsha Blackburn echoed the call for an investigation.
