00:00:04.840 I heard from many young men who told me that they have no choice but to give up on marriage and family and go their own way.

00:01:42.300 We opened the show yesterday with a discussion about the crisis of masculinity and the rise of Andrew Tate.
00:01:48.520 And to very briefly summarize the key points made in that conversation,
00:01:52.100 boys are growing up in a culture that is openly hostile to masculinity,
00:01:55.580 and many are forced to navigate the minefield without the benefits of strong male role models
00:02:00.320 to show them the path.
00:02:01.840 And this crisis is self-perpetuating.
00:02:04.320 It grows exponentially because the young men with absentee fathers
00:02:08.440 eventually become absentee fathers themselves, repeating the cycle indefinitely unto infinity.
00:02:13.500 And into this field of confusion and man hatred steps guys like Andrew Tate and others,
00:02:20.300 quickly earning an enormous following of young men who understandably flock to somebody
00:02:24.420 who has a message that embraces masculinity rather than treating it like a disease.
00:02:30.180 Andrew Tate, very often good at identifying the problems in our culture
00:02:34.140 as they pertain to the situation that men face,
00:02:36.580 and deserves credit for speaking up in defense of masculinity rather than denigrating it
00:02:40.780 and calling for its eradication, essentially.
00:02:43.000 But in my view, he misses the mark when it comes to the remedy.
00:02:46.220 He seems to basically understand the disease,
00:02:48.980 but he doesn't have the right prescription for it, or at least the full prescription.
00:02:52.700 Yes, men should reject the programming that our culture wants to subject them to,
00:02:57.240 programming which seeks to neuter and feminize them.
00:03:00.040 Yes, they should work hard.
00:03:01.360 They should take care of their minds and their bodies.
00:03:03.560 Yes, they should strive for success, including financial success.
00:03:06.340 But a life of hedonism and materialism and luxurious wealth,
00:03:11.420 remaining unmarried while sleeping with dozens of different women and so on,
00:03:15.720 is not the ideal to strive towards.
00:03:19.260 Rather, what men are called to and created for,
00:03:21.860 and the only sort of life that will be truly happy,
00:03:25.380 that they'll find true happiness and joy in,
00:03:27.720 is a life of service as protector and provider.
00:03:32.020 Men, the vast majority of men anyway,
00:03:33.940 are called to be husbands and fathers, to be leaders of their families.
00:03:37.620 Now, they may be called to lead in other ways too,
00:03:39.600 but first they must care for their families.
00:03:41.740 If there's any saving our civilization at this point,
00:03:46.280 which I think there is,
00:03:48.060 but if there is, this is how it will be done.
00:03:50.860 And this is who will do it.
00:03:52.940 It's not going to be saved by influencers who are sitting in front of cameras,
00:03:56.680 whether the guy in front of the camera is Andrew Tate,
00:03:58.860 or me, or anyone else.
00:04:01.160 It'll be saved through the formation and preservation
00:04:04.080 of strong, intact, loving, and well-led families.
00:04:09.560 That is the only way.
00:04:11.620 It is the only way forward.
00:04:14.020 If every man in the country starts going to the gym,
00:04:17.500 and starts making lots of money,
00:04:19.040 and starts having sex with lots of attractive women,
00:04:21.680 and yet, they don't get married,
00:04:24.640 and stay married, and have children,
00:04:26.700 and raise and love those children,
00:04:28.800 then we will still be headed to ruin.
00:04:32.480 It'll be a slightly different kind of ruin,
00:04:34.660 but ruin all the same.
00:04:36.900 Those men themselves will ultimately find
00:04:39.280 the happiness that they are able to derive in that lifestyle.
00:04:44.260 They'll find that it's shallow, and it's fleeting,
00:04:46.620 and in the end, they'll die alone,
00:04:48.860 loved by no one, loving no one.
00:04:52.120 Remembered by no one, leaving no legacy behind.
00:04:55.640 The feminized, and neutered, and effeminate man
00:04:58.640 that our left-wing culture seeks to create,
00:05:00.740 and then this other sort of man,
00:05:02.420 both unmarried, both childless,
00:05:04.560 will look very similar in the end,
00:05:08.100 having taken two very different paths
00:05:09.900 just to arrive together at essentially the same place.
00:05:13.780 It's the family man, the devoted father and husband,
00:05:17.080 whose different path actually leads to a different
00:05:20.420 and much better conclusion.
00:05:24.000 Now, I've, of course, been preaching this message
00:05:26.380 for as long as I've had an audience to preach to,
00:05:28.980 and I have found that there are like two or three basic responses
00:05:33.180 or rebuttals, I guess, that I always hear from young men
00:05:36.500 who may, for the most part, line up with me ideologically,
00:05:39.220 but who doubt the wisdom of the get married and have kids prescription.
00:05:43.540 And I was greeted with these same responses after the show yesterday
00:05:47.720 and many messages and comments.
00:05:49.340 What I'd like to do today is answer the objections,
00:05:53.060 or at least what seems to be the one principal objection.
00:05:56.280 The claim that I so often hear is that,
00:06:01.240 well, marriage and family life is a trap.
00:06:03.880 It's a scam, especially for men.
00:06:06.500 The whole thing is rigged against us.
00:06:08.900 There is nothing for a man to do,
00:06:10.280 but give up on the entire enterprise and go his own way.
00:06:14.500 In fact, there's a whole movement online.
00:06:16.160 Men go their own way.
00:06:17.280 And that's basically the idea.
00:06:19.820 Just give up on this stuff and do something else.
00:06:22.820 This argument was summarized in a comment from a listener named Joshua,
00:06:27.140 which I'll read because I think it just is representative of this sort of mentality.
00:06:31.560 He says,
00:06:31.980 Still sounds like Matt and most Tradcon's definition of what masculinity means
00:06:36.100 is exclusively through the lens of women and children's wants and needs.
00:06:40.260 Unfortunately, that ideal will no longer work in the modern world
00:06:43.600 with birth control, hookup culture, social media,
00:06:46.280 and court systems that favor women and the denigration of traditional masculinity.
00:06:50.320 I don't agree with all of Tate's views,
00:06:52.160 but it sure beats Matt's prescriptions for young men.
00:06:55.960 Again, I've read a great many comments making the same kind of point.
00:06:58.820 A private message from another listener has a similar theme.
00:07:01.440 It says,
00:07:01.640 Matt, I agree with many of your opinions,
00:07:02.980 but your message to men is off base.
00:07:04.600 Young men follow Andrew Tate because his lifestyle is the ideal,
00:07:07.680 whether you admit it or not.
00:07:09.480 Wealth, fame, status, beautiful women were biologically programmed to want those things.
00:07:14.160 Marriage is a losing game.
00:07:15.480 The only solution in modern society is to reject the life of service,
00:07:19.540 as you call it.
00:07:22.160 So, what is the problem with this view?
00:07:24.460 Well, to begin with,
00:07:25.960 it's nothing less than a full, unconditional surrender to the culture.
00:07:31.940 It's true that the culture has increasingly made it difficult for both men and women
00:07:35.680 to form and maintain strong, intact, lasting families.
00:07:39.820 And that's because the elites who run our society don't want you to live that kind of life.
00:07:47.220 They prefer that you focus on your individual wants,
00:07:51.540 on fulfilling your own needs and satisfying your own desires.
00:07:56.340 That's what they prefer for you.
00:07:58.080 That's the life they want for you.
00:07:59.720 A self-focused life is precisely the sort of life they wish for you.
00:08:04.120 It makes you easier to manipulate.
00:08:07.060 Less of a threat to their agenda.
00:08:09.720 Not really a threat at all.
00:08:10.940 I mean, if you're just out there focused on yourself,
00:08:14.660 you know, being a consumer, buying lots of things for yourself,
00:08:18.080 consuming things for yourself,
00:08:20.380 you know, and all the rest of it,
00:08:23.260 you're not a threat to their agenda at all.
00:08:25.800 I mean, you're going along with it.
00:08:27.840 All of the things mentioned by Joshua in his comment,
00:08:34.960 all of those things represent a conspiracy against the family.
00:08:38.940 He's right about that.
00:08:41.220 The way the family court systems are set up,
00:08:43.560 birth control, all the rest of it.
00:08:45.680 It's an attack on the family.
00:08:48.180 So what is the answer?
00:08:49.880 To give up?
00:08:51.460 To give the conspirators exactly what they want?
00:08:54.680 To reward them for their efforts by turning your back
00:08:57.980 on the very thing they've been assaulting for decades?
00:09:02.220 The family is the fortress that they have been attacking.
00:09:06.300 And you can defend it with your life,
00:09:09.000 or you can wave the white flag.
00:09:11.560 But if you choose to surrender,
00:09:13.160 then at least be honest about what you're doing.
00:09:16.880 Be honest.
00:09:17.700 This is not a rejection of the left's agenda,
00:09:20.660 of a cultural elite's agenda.
00:09:22.040 You are submitting to it.
00:09:24.600 It is a submission.
00:09:27.300 It is certainly not the strong or masculine response
00:09:29.940 to run away and abandon your post,
00:09:32.600 to stop fighting because the fight is too difficult.
00:09:38.180 I mean, that approaches many things,
00:09:39.600 but it certainly isn't manly.
00:09:42.900 And where do you go instead?
00:09:44.480 I mean, what is the next move?
00:09:46.820 To give up on the family is to give up on human civilization,
00:09:49.700 seeing as how there cannot be a human civilization
00:09:52.680 without the family.
00:09:53.500 So what's plan B after you've given up on civilization?
00:09:57.780 What's next?
00:09:59.620 You're also giving up on yourself,
00:10:01.480 on your own legacy,
00:10:02.500 your own bloodline.
00:10:03.720 You are descended from a long line of men
00:10:06.820 stretching back thousands of years
00:10:08.580 who formed families and raised children,
00:10:11.380 often under circumstances far more dire
00:10:14.020 than what we face.
00:10:15.500 And you're giving up on them too.
00:10:20.260 You are surrendering your future and your past.
00:10:24.140 You're giving up on everything.
00:10:25.700 And what is your consolation prize?
00:10:28.940 Finding financial success?
00:10:30.460 I mean, the unfortunate irony is that
00:10:33.880 many of the people that,
00:10:35.340 many of the men who give up on these things
00:10:37.620 in favor of,
00:10:38.640 well, I'll just focus on myself
00:10:39.600 and try to be financially successful,
00:10:41.120 many of them are never even going to be
00:10:42.420 financially successful.
00:10:43.840 So they end up with just nothing.
00:10:46.060 They end up broke and alone with nothing.
00:10:51.020 But even if you find it,
00:10:53.480 the financial success,
00:10:55.440 so what?
00:10:56.100 I mean, who cares about money
00:10:57.280 if you have nothing meaningful to spend it on?
00:10:59.260 I have money.
00:11:01.840 I don't have Andrew Tate's money,
00:11:03.400 but I have money.
00:11:04.900 And nearly all the joy and happiness
00:11:06.480 I derive from having money
00:11:07.940 is that it allows me to provide for my family.
00:11:12.280 That's pretty much it.
00:11:13.440 That's the entire thing.
00:11:14.560 That's why I like having the money
00:11:16.820 is that I find great pleasure
00:11:18.240 in being able to care for a wife and six kids.
00:11:21.000 Proud of that fact.
00:11:22.920 If I didn't have them,
00:11:23.980 the money would mean very little to me.
00:11:26.140 I mean, I could buy nice things
00:11:27.720 and drive a fancy car
00:11:28.700 and live in my nice house alone.
00:11:31.700 But for what?
00:11:35.040 Now, does that mean that
00:11:36.140 if you start a family
00:11:37.160 that you're guaranteed
00:11:38.180 to live a joyful and fulfilled life?
00:11:40.020 Well, of course not.
00:11:41.180 It's a risk.
00:11:43.720 And yes, the risks are in some ways
00:11:46.180 much greater in modern times.
00:11:48.220 We have all been poisoned
00:11:49.160 by this demonic culture
00:11:51.340 to one extent or another.
00:11:52.600 We are all poisoned.
00:11:53.480 If you marry someone,
00:11:56.740 you are marrying someone
00:11:57.820 who has been poisoned,
00:11:59.420 who has ingested the poison,
00:12:03.000 who has taken a drink
00:12:05.320 from the well of modern culture.
00:12:07.360 Everybody has, as have you.
00:12:09.160 And yes, if things go sideways,
00:12:11.820 if you're a man,
00:12:13.660 you marry a woman,
00:12:14.480 and your wife turns out
00:12:15.560 to be a disloyal vulture,
00:12:16.920 or if you turn out
00:12:19.140 to be a disloyal vulture,
00:12:20.540 or you both do,
00:12:22.780 the deck will be stacked
00:12:24.020 against you in court.
00:12:25.020 There's no question about that.
00:12:27.640 Divorce may ruin your life.
00:12:31.700 And if you give your heart
00:12:33.100 to someone,
00:12:33.760 if you bind yourself to them,
00:12:35.280 not only through the marriage vow,
00:12:36.440 but then also through children
00:12:37.500 you conceive together,
00:12:39.300 then you will have,
00:12:40.260 they will have all they need
00:12:41.800 to rip your guts out
00:12:44.080 and burn your life to the ground.
00:12:45.780 That is absolutely true.
00:12:48.560 That's the risk.
00:12:50.200 Okay?
00:12:50.780 But it's a risk worth taking.
00:12:53.660 Every great joy
00:12:55.020 can become a great tragedy
00:12:56.900 if you aren't careful.
00:12:59.160 Or if you have very bad luck.
00:13:01.640 That's true.
00:13:03.200 So is the answer then
00:13:04.500 to forego all joy?
00:13:07.100 To say forget about joy
00:13:08.680 because it might not work out?
00:13:11.580 To embrace a life
00:13:12.880 of loneliness and misery
00:13:14.060 because you're worried
00:13:14.860 that if you aim higher
00:13:15.860 you'll end up
00:13:16.560 lonely and miserable?
00:13:21.120 You're worried that in the end
00:13:22.400 you'll end up in this state
00:13:23.460 so instead you say,
00:13:24.480 well, I might as well
00:13:25.040 just live in this state
00:13:26.060 to begin with.
00:13:28.540 It doesn't make any sense.
00:13:30.860 So you take the risk.
00:13:32.680 And you mitigate the risk
00:13:34.180 at the same time
00:13:35.160 by being smart
00:13:36.100 about who you marry
00:13:36.980 and by grounding
00:13:37.780 your marriage
00:13:38.480 and your family
00:13:39.720 in faith
00:13:40.380 and mutual devotion
00:13:41.360 and by working
00:13:43.020 hard every day
00:13:44.520 to hold up
00:13:45.100 your own end
00:13:45.780 of the bargain
00:13:46.360 because yeah,
00:13:47.820 there are some men out there
00:13:48.840 who do everything right
00:13:49.880 and they're great men
00:13:52.260 and they're devoted
00:13:52.840 to their families
00:13:53.500 and they're intensely loyal
00:13:55.600 and all of that
00:13:56.360 and their families
00:13:57.000 fall apart anyway
00:13:58.140 because they accidentally
00:13:59.340 married a soulless
00:14:00.460 disloyal scumbag.
00:14:01.520 I mean, that does happen
00:14:02.440 and sometimes it happens
00:14:03.620 in the reverse.
00:14:06.040 But that's not
00:14:06.960 that's not
00:14:08.920 the majority
00:14:09.800 of cases.
00:14:11.920 Most of the time
00:14:12.760 it takes two to tango.
00:14:14.400 Two to get married
00:14:15.020 two to ruin the marriage.
00:14:17.480 Which means that
00:14:18.400 marriage is not
00:14:19.360 a mere roll
00:14:20.000 of the dice.
00:14:22.300 There's quite a lot
00:14:23.180 you can do
00:14:23.700 to secure
00:14:24.340 your good fortune.
00:14:26.920 That's why I never
00:14:27.640 cared about the statistics.
00:14:28.640 You know,
00:14:28.740 when I was getting married
00:14:29.840 and I heard about this
00:14:30.620 statistically this is
00:14:31.780 I'm not a statistic.
00:14:34.260 I'm not just some number
00:14:35.580 on a spreadsheet.
00:14:37.560 And neither is my wife.
00:14:38.760 We're human beings.
00:14:41.300 I'm not subject
00:14:42.380 to statistics.
00:14:45.660 Not merely subject
00:14:46.820 to them.
00:14:48.580 Because the one thing
00:14:49.360 statistics don't take
00:14:50.260 into account
00:14:50.680 are choices.
00:14:52.620 It's about the choices
00:14:53.800 you make.
00:14:55.040 Whether your marriage
00:14:55.920 works or not
00:14:56.540 it's about choices
00:14:57.420 that are made
00:14:58.160 in the marriage.
00:14:59.840 If one or both
00:15:02.540 of you make bad choices
00:15:03.700 your chances
00:15:05.320 are going to be
00:15:06.640 very poor.
00:15:07.480 If you make good choices
00:15:08.540 they won't be.
00:15:09.260 That's what it is.
00:15:11.880 And yet the risk
00:15:12.660 is always there.
00:15:13.960 So will you live
00:15:14.920 in fear of it?
00:15:16.320 Or will you have
00:15:17.160 the courage?
00:15:19.420 And go forward
00:15:20.720 anyway.
00:15:22.920 One other thing
00:15:23.600 I want to say
00:15:24.040 you know
00:15:24.260 and this is important
00:15:25.580 to say
00:15:26.360 that
00:15:26.560 it's just not true.
00:15:29.020 okay
00:15:29.820 it's just not true
00:15:31.100 that a life
00:15:32.280 of obscene luxury
00:15:33.400 and materialism
00:15:34.560 and selfishness
00:15:35.480 and self-service
00:15:36.380 and of you know
00:15:37.520 sleeping with
00:15:38.160 many different women
00:15:38.960 and all of that
00:15:40.240 it's not true
00:15:41.640 that that is the ideal
00:15:43.720 which we so often
00:15:45.880 hear these days.
00:15:46.840 That's the ideal.
00:15:49.040 You know
00:15:49.180 non-monogamy
00:15:50.180 having many sexual partners
00:15:51.920 that's the ideal
00:15:53.620 they say.
00:15:54.740 That's not true.
00:15:55.280 Much less
00:15:57.220 is it
00:15:57.560 what we are
00:15:58.180 biologically
00:15:58.940 programmed to desire.
00:16:00.980 No
00:16:01.380 it's what we're
00:16:01.960 culturally
00:16:02.540 programmed to desire.
00:16:03.740 That is
00:16:04.600 the cultural
00:16:05.300 programming.
00:16:07.640 But I know
00:16:08.320 that it's not
00:16:08.840 biological
00:16:09.620 because I'm
00:16:10.540 a biological
00:16:11.160 organism
00:16:11.680 and I don't
00:16:12.380 desire that.
00:16:15.300 I don't want
00:16:16.180 any life
00:16:16.720 but the one I have.
00:16:17.580 I don't want
00:16:17.860 any woman
00:16:18.280 but the one
00:16:18.660 I married.
00:16:22.260 I mean
00:16:22.780 you could listen
00:16:23.320 to that and say
00:16:23.660 oh that's not true
00:16:24.320 he's just saying
00:16:24.820 that's a cope
00:16:25.660 on your part.
00:16:27.020 That's resentment
00:16:27.780 envy
00:16:28.200 talking.
00:16:30.980 If I could do
00:16:31.720 my life over
00:16:32.340 from the start
00:16:32.960 I would find
00:16:33.780 my wife again
00:16:34.520 and marry her again.
00:16:35.220 If I lived
00:16:35.600 a hundred lives
00:16:36.300 I'd marry her
00:16:36.900 in all of them.
00:16:38.460 That's what it
00:16:38.780 means to love
00:16:39.240 somebody
00:16:39.640 and love
00:16:41.340 is the ideal
00:16:42.160 because it's
00:16:44.160 not mere
00:16:44.560 biological programming
00:16:45.900 it is transcendent
00:16:47.320 and trust me
00:16:50.360 it's well worth
00:16:51.160 the risk.
00:16:51.600 Now let's get
00:16:54.040 to our
00:16:54.360 headlines.

00:17:38.800 we begin

00:18:43.980 they're

00:18:44.300 here
00:18:44.560 is that

00:18:46.820 certainly

00:19:15.520 involved
00:19:15.820 in
00:19:15.980 action
00:19:16.400 advocacy
00:19:17.000 and or
00:19:17.480 activism
00:19:18.020 in
00:19:19.280 order
00:19:19.420 to
00:19:19.600 affect
00:19:19.900 systemic
00:19:20.380 change
00:19:20.900 students
00:19:21.400 need
00:19:21.640 to
00:19:21.800 analyze
00:19:22.140 and
00:19:22.600 challenge
00:19:22.980 the
00:19:23.160 opportunity
00:19:23.620 achievement
00:19:24.160 gap
00:19:24.520 school
00:19:25.180 funding
00:19:25.580 inequities
00:19:26.220 and the
00:19:26.600 school
00:19:26.920 to
00:19:27.140 prison
00:19:27.460 pipeline
00:19:28.040 okay so
00:19:30.140 these are
00:19:30.440 public
00:19:30.780 schools
00:19:31.240 that are
00:19:31.920 focused
00:19:33.360 now on
00:19:33.880 getting
00:19:34.240 kids
00:19:34.980 including
00:19:35.300 preschoolers
00:19:35.940 involved
00:19:36.380 in
00:19:36.660 activism
00:19:37.460 let's
00:19:40.540 see it
00:19:40.760 goes on
00:19:41.380 people
00:19:42.600 of color
00:19:43.060 and or
00:19:43.460 those who
00:19:43.800 are

00:19:44.160 of
00:19:44.340 marginalized
00:19:44.660 groups
00:19:45.000 may
00:19:45.200 want
00:19:45.440 to
00:19:45.560 share
00:19:45.760 real
00:19:46.160 and
00:19:46.340 sometimes
00:19:46.720 harsh
00:19:47.080 testimonies
00:19:47.740 about
00:19:47.940 their
00:19:48.100 experiences
00:19:48.640 they
00:19:49.220 may
00:19:49.360 want
00:19:49.540 to
00:19:49.680 caucus
00:19:49.980 with
00:19:50.300 others
00:19:50.640 in
00:19:50.840 their
00:19:50.980 same

00:19:51.900 in
00:19:52.200 order
00:19:52.320 to
00:19:52.480 feel
00:19:52.640 safe
00:19:53.020 or
00:19:53.280 they
00:19:53.780 may
00:19:53.980 feel
00:19:54.240 that
00:19:54.440 being
00:19:54.660 able
00:19:54.900 to
00:19:55.100 challenge
00:19:55.560 others
00:19:56.120 bias
00:19:56.580 is
00:19:57.460 what
00:19:57.660 is
00:19:57.840 necessary
00:19:58.260 to
00:19:58.520 build
00:19:58.760 empathy
00:19:59.180 different
00:20:00.240 perspectives
00:20:00.720 may
00:20:01.020 be
00:20:01.160 attributed
00:20:01.500 to
00:20:02.000 whether
00:20:03.260 one
00:20:03.560 is
00:20:03.720 part
00:20:03.960 of

00:20:05.780 in
00:20:05.960 school
00:20:06.240 or
00:20:06.440 society
00:20:06.900 if
00:20:08.420 you
00:20:08.520 know
00:20:08.660 students
00:20:08.960 correct
00:20:09.300 pronouns
00:20:09.700 and

00:20:10.200 use
00:20:10.620 them
00:20:10.780 in
00:20:10.920 class
00:20:11.220 and
00:20:11.380 do
00:20:11.500 not
00:20:11.680 rely

00:20:22.820 attracting
00:20:23.240 teachers
00:20:23.600 who
00:20:23.760 want
00:20:23.920 to
00:20:24.060 save
00:20:24.280 the
00:20:24.420 work
00:20:24.680 of
00:20:24.840 creating
00:20:25.160 their
00:20:25.360 own
00:20:25.500 plans
00:20:25.820 which
00:20:26.500 push
00:20:26.820 naked
00:20:27.240 partisanship
00:20:27.780 on
00:20:28.000 children
00:20:28.320 one
00:20:29.000 titled
00:20:29.340 Georgia's

00:20:30.760 law
00:20:31.060 states
00:20:31.420 that
00:20:31.680 quote
00:20:32.000 in
00:20:32.460 March
00:20:32.640 2021
00:20:33.080 the
00:20:33.500 Georgia
00:20:33.760 state
00:20:33.980 legislature
00:20:34.520 passed
00:20:34.940 a
00:20:35.100 major
00:20:35.400 law
00:20:35.680 that
00:20:35.840 restricts
00:20:36.260 and
00:20:36.380 suppresses
00:20:36.960 voting
00:20:37.300 across
00:20:37.640 the
00:20:37.840 state
00:20:38.120 it
00:20:39.040 encourages
00:20:39.360 students
00:20:39.720 to
00:20:39.940 plan
00:20:40.340 actions
00:20:40.860 they
00:20:41.040 can
00:20:41.180 take
00:20:41.440 to
00:20:41.660 influence
00:20:42.160 powerful
00:20:42.560 entities
00:20:42.860 to
00:20:43.280 take
00:20:43.460 a
00:20:43.640 stand
00:20:43.960 about
00:20:44.200 social
00:20:44.560 justice
00:20:44.980 issues
00:20:45.420 and
00:20:48.040 many
00:20:48.380 similar
00:20:49.020 things
00:20:49.380 like
00:20:49.540 this
00:20:49.720 so
00:20:49.960 this
00:20:50.620 is
00:20:50.740 still
00:20:51.100 going
00:20:51.400 on
00:20:51.800 in
00:20:52.140 the
00:20:52.240 school
00:20:52.420 system
00:20:52.920 second
00:20:53.520 largest
00:20:53.780 school
00:20:53.980 system
00:20:54.300 in
00:20:54.680 Florida
00:20:55.520 and
00:20:56.540 this
00:20:56.980 is
00:20:57.100 still
00:20:57.320 happening
00:20:57.740 there
00:20:58.100 even
00:20:58.520 after
00:20:58.940 we're
00:21:02.420 told
00:21:02.680 that
00:21:02.960 woke
00:21:03.460 goes
00:21:03.700 to
00:21:03.840 die
00:21:04.020 in
00:21:04.180 Florida
00:21:04.420 so
00:21:04.700 this
00:21:05.000 is
00:21:05.100 something
00:21:05.380 that
00:21:05.840 Ron
00:21:06.880 DeSantis
00:21:07.140 needs
00:21:07.380 to
00:21:07.480 pay
00:21:07.580 attention
00:21:07.860 to
00:21:08.180 needs
00:21:09.680 to
00:21:09.860 work
00:21:10.100 towards
00:21:10.360 doing
00:21:10.720 something
00:21:11.100 about
00:21:11.400 this
00:21:11.740 even
00:21:15.000 just
00:21:15.260 the
00:21:15.480 fact
00:21:16.400 that
00:21:16.580 there's
00:21:16.840 a
00:21:17.040 what
00:21:17.320 was
00:21:17.480 their
00:21:18.280 exact
00:21:18.620 phrasing
00:21:19.040 and
00:21:19.260 every
00:21:19.460 school
00:21:19.720 has
00:21:19.880 a
00:21:19.960 different
00:21:20.220 phrase
00:21:20.560 different
00:21:20.840 department
00:21:21.560 of
00:21:21.800 diversity
00:21:22.380 and
00:21:22.620 school
00:21:22.860 climate
00:21:23.240 well
00:21:25.480 that
00:21:25.620 shouldn't
00:21:25.920 exist
00:21:26.320 in
00:21:27.160 any
00:21:27.340 school
00:21:27.500 there
00:21:27.640 should
00:21:27.740 be
00:21:27.840 any
00:21:27.980 department
00:21:28.400 of
00:21:28.620 diversity
00:21:29.080 if
00:21:29.860 they've
00:21:30.000 got
00:21:30.120 anything
00:21:30.400 like
00:21:30.720 that
00:21:31.040 you
00:21:31.820 know
00:21:32.120 from
00:21:32.360 the
00:21:32.560 start
00:21:32.920 that
00:21:33.260 this
00:21:33.520 is
00:21:33.820 a
00:21:34.060 mechanism
00:21:34.540 to
00:21:35.300 ideologically
00:21:36.060 indoctrinate
00:21:36.780 students
00:21:37.180 and so
00:21:39.860 they should
00:21:40.120 begin
00:21:40.380 by
00:21:40.680 getting rid
00:21:41.140 of
00:21:41.240 all
00:21:41.480 of
00:21:41.600 those
00:21:41.740 every
00:21:41.980 department
00:21:42.420 of
00:21:42.600 diversity
00:21:43.040 in
00:21:43.400 any
00:21:43.640 school
00:21:44.060 needs
00:21:44.380 to
00:21:44.480 be
00:21:44.600 gone
00:21:44.840 and
00:21:47.620 it
00:21:47.720 also
00:21:47.920 goes
00:21:48.200 to
00:21:48.360 show
00:21:48.600 that
00:21:48.900 the
00:21:49.140 parental
00:21:49.440 rights
00:21:49.820 bill
00:21:50.100 which
00:21:50.380 was
00:21:50.760 inappropriately
00:21:52.440 named
00:21:52.920 misnamed
00:21:53.640 the
00:21:54.580 don't say
00:21:55.140 gay
00:21:55.340 bill
00:21:55.560 that
00:21:56.100 has
00:21:56.320 to
00:21:56.440 be
00:21:56.560 just
00:21:56.800 the
00:21:56.940 beginning
00:21:57.240 you know
00:21:57.660 that
00:21:57.800 can't
00:21:58.000 be
00:21:58.100 the
00:21:58.240 whole
00:21:58.400 story
00:21:58.800 even
00:22:02.300 that
00:22:02.560 bill
00:22:02.920 you know
00:22:03.680 I
00:22:03.920 supported
00:22:04.640 that
00:22:04.820 bill
00:22:05.020 was a
00:22:05.220 good
00:22:05.320 bill
00:22:05.560 was
00:22:07.120 good
00:22:07.280 law
00:22:07.620 better
00:22:09.080 than
00:22:09.260 the
00:22:09.400 alternative
00:22:09.800 the
00:22:10.000 alternative
00:22:10.300 was
00:22:10.660 nothing
00:22:11.000 but
00:22:13.060 that
00:22:13.440 bill
00:22:13.780 was
00:22:14.060 specifically
00:22:14.680 focused
00:22:15.300 on
00:22:15.660 protecting
00:22:16.160 kids
00:22:16.660 from
00:22:16.920 sexual
00:22:17.380 indoctrination
00:22:18.160 from
00:22:18.880 pre-k
00:22:19.420 up to
00:22:19.780 third
00:22:20.080 grade
00:22:20.420 which is
00:22:22.900 great to
00:22:23.620 protect them
00:22:24.000 from that
00:22:24.460 but then
00:22:25.000 now we've
00:22:25.360 got all
00:22:25.620 the students
00:22:26.120 who are in
00:22:26.780 fourth grade
00:22:27.540 and higher
00:22:28.040 going to
00:22:28.420 protect them
00:22:28.820 too
00:22:29.060 and there
00:22:31.120 are other
00:22:31.480 forms of
00:22:32.000 indoctrination
00:22:32.500 also
00:22:32.900 so
00:22:35.360 pushing
00:22:35.980 preschoolers
00:22:37.120 to get
00:22:37.380 involved in
00:22:38.000 left-wing
00:22:38.400 activism
00:22:38.980 having
00:22:41.580 these
00:22:41.860 blatantly
00:22:42.480 partisan
00:22:43.080 lessons
00:22:44.840 about
00:22:45.520 voting
00:22:46.480 laws
00:22:46.980 and
00:22:47.280 how
00:22:47.720 voter
00:22:48.080 ID
00:22:48.400 counts as
00:22:48.960 voter
00:22:49.180 suppression
00:22:49.600 well that's
00:22:50.140 not sexual
00:22:50.620 indoctrination
00:22:51.280 but that is
00:22:51.920 political and
00:22:53.400 ideological
00:22:53.820 indoctrination
00:22:54.500 so that
00:22:57.780 needs to go
00:22:58.120 out the
00:22:58.360 window
00:22:58.520 also
00:22:58.900 and this
00:23:01.320 is where
00:23:01.840 you know
00:23:04.360 as I always
00:23:05.480 say when it
00:23:05.820 comes to
00:23:06.100 most politicians
00:23:07.280 I don't
00:23:07.600 support at
00:23:08.040 all I
00:23:08.300 don't trust
00:23:08.680 most of
00:23:09.060 them
00:23:09.280 and on
00:23:11.380 the rare
00:23:11.780 occasion
00:23:12.260 that I
00:23:12.600 find a
00:23:13.020 politician
00:23:13.400 who I
00:23:13.840 will say
00:23:14.280 I support
00:23:15.020 the support
00:23:15.940 is always
00:23:16.560 tentative
00:23:17.220 and I'm
00:23:18.560 willing to
00:23:18.920 withdraw it
00:23:19.720 at any
00:23:19.920 moment
00:23:20.160 they have
00:23:22.160 to continue
00:23:22.700 to earn
00:23:23.120 it
00:23:23.420 I think
00:23:24.980 that's the
00:23:25.140 attitude we
00:23:25.440 should all
00:23:25.660 have towards
00:23:26.040 politicians
00:23:26.520 and that
00:23:27.980 means it's
00:23:28.340 not like
00:23:28.740 you earn
00:23:29.300 it and
00:23:29.820 then you
00:23:30.240 skate on
00:23:30.840 that for
00:23:31.380 the next
00:23:31.720 decade
00:23:32.200 you gotta
00:23:32.800 continue to
00:23:33.500 earn
00:23:33.660 which means
00:23:37.040 even as
00:23:37.800 someone who
00:23:38.060 supports
00:23:38.380 Ron DeSantis
00:23:38.760 especially
00:23:39.120 someone who
00:23:39.460 supports
00:23:39.660 Ron DeSantis
00:23:40.080 I'm looking
00:23:40.500 at this
00:23:40.780 and saying
00:23:41.040 okay let's
00:23:41.540 see what
00:23:41.760 he does
00:23:42.020 next
00:23:42.360 because
00:23:43.620 that's a
00:23:44.280 great bill
00:23:45.200 glad it
00:23:45.820 was passed
00:23:46.280 now what's
00:23:49.020 next
00:23:49.400 we got
00:23:50.820 all these
00:23:51.140 other kids
00:23:51.460 we need
00:23:51.700 to protect
00:23:52.200 all these
00:23:52.840 other forms
00:23:53.200 of indoctrination
00:23:53.940 let's do
00:23:55.780 that next
00:23:56.220 and I
00:23:57.980 think he
00:23:58.280 will
00:23:58.460 I hope
00:23:58.860 he will
00:23:59.140 but really
00:24:01.640 the other
00:24:03.140 thing that
00:24:03.400 we I
00:24:03.680 think we
00:24:03.860 could take
00:24:04.160 from this
00:24:04.460 is that
00:24:04.860 there shouldn't
00:24:06.080 be
00:24:06.640 you know
00:24:08.840 anytime you
00:24:09.560 hear about
00:24:10.080 discussions
00:24:10.620 of hate
00:24:11.360 in the
00:24:11.800 schools
00:24:12.200 that's what
00:24:13.180 this is
00:24:13.380 supposed to
00:24:13.740 be
00:24:13.920 taking a
00:24:15.140 stand against
00:24:15.680 hate
00:24:16.000 no place
00:24:16.720 for hate
00:24:17.200 it's
00:24:18.900 actually
00:24:19.080 not the
00:24:19.620 school's
00:24:20.020 job
00:24:20.500 to tell
00:24:21.340 kids
00:24:21.800 what they
00:24:22.320 should
00:24:22.640 or shouldn't
00:24:23.200 hate
00:24:23.540 there actually
00:24:25.220 should not
00:24:25.580 be any
00:24:26.020 conversations
00:24:26.720 in the
00:24:27.380 school system
00:24:28.180 about
00:24:29.860 hatred
00:24:30.380 we don't
00:24:31.120 need the
00:24:31.420 government
00:24:31.700 employees
00:24:32.340 who are
00:24:33.080 running
00:24:33.300 the school
00:24:33.720 system
00:24:34.100 to facilitate
00:24:34.760 these
00:24:35.120 conversations
00:24:35.760 with kids
00:24:36.560 about
00:24:36.840 hatred
00:24:37.300 that's
00:24:39.000 not your
00:24:39.360 job
00:24:39.740 none of
00:24:40.580 this is
00:24:40.880 your job
00:24:41.380 pushing
00:24:42.400 them to
00:24:42.780 activism
00:24:43.320 to getting
00:24:43.860 involved in
00:24:45.680 social movements
00:24:46.540 none of
00:24:47.660 that is
00:24:48.040 your job
00:24:48.500 your job
00:24:50.500 is to
00:24:50.760 teach the
00:24:51.200 academic
00:24:51.740 subjects
00:24:52.400 and that's
00:24:53.180 it
00:24:53.420 all the
00:24:55.080 rest of
00:24:55.440 this is
00:24:55.900 moral
00:24:56.500 formation
00:24:57.180 and that's
00:24:57.800 not your
00:24:58.400 job
00:24:58.740 that's not
00:24:59.080 why anyone
00:24:59.440 is actually
00:24:59.920 sending their
00:25:00.340 kids to
00:25:00.620 public school
00:25:00.920 system
00:25:01.180 and the
00:25:03.400 reason why
00:25:03.840 I'm not
00:25:04.200 going to
00:25:04.380 trust the
00:25:04.680 school system
00:25:05.120 with moral
00:25:05.580 formation
00:25:06.140 is that
00:25:07.900 I don't
00:25:08.620 agree with
00:25:10.420 or trust
00:25:11.220 their moral
00:25:12.240 viewpoints
00:25:12.760 what they
00:25:13.380 consider moral
00:25:13.980 formation
00:25:14.360 is really
00:25:15.000 moral deformation
00:25:15.920 and when it
00:25:18.040 comes to
00:25:18.360 hate I
00:25:18.720 certainly
00:25:19.020 am not
00:25:19.320 going to
00:25:19.540 trust the
00:25:20.040 schools to
00:25:20.740 tell my
00:25:21.360 kids what
00:25:22.600 is appropriate
00:25:23.360 hate and what
00:25:23.980 isn't what they
00:25:24.520 should and
00:25:24.880 shouldn't be
00:25:25.220 hating because
00:25:26.780 guess what not
00:25:27.340 all hate is
00:25:27.800 bad everyone
00:25:29.800 actually agrees
00:25:30.400 with that as
00:25:33.000 much as they
00:25:33.400 tell us there's
00:25:34.540 no place for
00:25:35.260 hate that's not
00:25:35.860 true there's
00:25:37.260 always a place
00:25:37.700 for hate even
00:25:38.800 they would say
00:25:39.220 that I'm sure
00:25:40.860 they would say
00:25:41.240 tell us that we
00:25:41.980 should hate
00:25:42.420 racism I'm
00:25:44.800 sure they would
00:25:45.080 tell us that we
00:25:45.460 should hate
00:25:46.100 utterly fundamentally
00:25:47.140 reject you know
00:25:48.480 intolerance
00:25:49.440 well no they
00:25:51.220 wouldn't tell us to
00:25:51.800 fundamentally reject
00:25:52.560 either of those
00:25:53.060 things because
00:25:53.540 they're in favor of
00:25:54.240 some forms of
00:25:54.680 racism but but
00:25:55.420 that's what they
00:25:55.740 would say
00:25:56.200 if I if I if
00:25:58.920 you were to ask
00:25:59.440 them even the
00:26:00.340 ones who are
00:26:00.900 put together this
00:26:01.900 no place for
00:26:02.540 hate program if
00:26:03.360 you were to ask
00:26:03.800 them well you
00:26:04.320 know what about
00:26:04.800 is racism a
00:26:06.040 detestable thing
00:26:07.260 they would say
00:26:08.080 absolutely okay
00:26:08.940 we should so we
00:26:09.660 should detest
00:26:10.240 racism we should
00:26:10.820 hate it okay
00:26:11.440 well so there is a
00:26:12.080 place for hatred
00:26:12.600 actually there are
00:26:15.560 things that are
00:26:16.200 worthy of hatred
00:26:16.900 it's just a matter
00:26:17.660 of what are those
00:26:19.180 things that's about
00:26:21.760 that's a value
00:26:22.400 system judgment
00:26:23.240 and I don't trust
00:26:29.020 the school systems
00:26:29.740 value system all
00:26:32.420 right speaking of
00:26:34.240 things we should
00:26:34.620 hate here's a
00:26:35.160 report from the
00:26:36.000 gay groomer site
00:26:37.080 pink news about
00:26:38.340 child drag queens
00:26:40.540 and there's a lot
00:26:41.800 going on in this
00:26:42.380 brief clip that will
00:26:43.040 play that they tell
00:26:43.820 us is just is not
00:26:44.960 real it's all
00:26:45.740 misinformation and
00:26:47.520 yet here it is in
00:26:48.260 their video it's not
00:26:49.220 my I didn't I didn't
00:26:49.760 put this video together
00:26:50.340 this is their video
00:26:51.120 and let's watch
00:26:52.620 meet Australia's
00:26:54.300 youngest drag queen
00:26:55.300 13 year old candy
00:26:56.500 feather bottom also
00:26:57.700 known as Logan out
00:26:58.680 of drag hi
00:26:59.540 everybody I'm candy
00:27:00.720 feather bottom and
00:27:01.640 15 year old queen
00:27:02.660 cherry west from
00:27:03.740 Edinburgh Scotland
00:27:04.620 also known as Sam
00:27:05.940 Carling out of drag
00:27:07.340 hello dearers I'm
00:27:08.420 cherry west the red
00:27:09.640 Betty Vandenberg and
00:27:10.500 I am a 15 year old
00:27:11.520 drag queen though
00:27:12.400 from different parts
00:27:13.220 of the world these
00:27:14.000 queens have more than
00:27:14.920 just their young age
00:27:15.920 in common but their
00:27:16.840 passion for all things
00:27:18.100 drag candy's love and
00:27:19.400 passion for singing and
00:27:20.340 performing came from
00:27:21.400 watching a family
00:27:22.220 friendly performance at
00:27:23.680 the local bowls club
00:27:24.760 by group taboo and
00:27:26.020 led to her drag debut
00:27:27.260 at the north Ipswich
00:27:28.420 bowls club in Brisbane
00:27:29.620 at just 10 years old
00:27:31.320 getting up on a stage
00:27:32.500 and you know bringing
00:27:33.240 that smiles to those
00:27:34.440 people's faces is why
00:27:36.000 I do it and cherry's
00:27:37.120 inspiration came from
00:27:38.120 watching her drag icon
00:27:39.340 Bianca del Rio a queen
00:27:40.960 that inspired me quite
00:27:41.640 a lot was Bianca del
00:27:42.640 Rio from season six of
00:27:43.760 Drag Race and I
00:27:44.940 recently seen her in
00:27:45.940 Edinburgh performing
00:27:46.700 and she's absolutely
00:27:47.720 incredible I'm obsessed
00:27:48.800 with her the trailblazers
00:27:49.800 are challenging
00:27:50.460 perceptions on young
00:27:51.720 queens through not only
00:27:52.740 their stellar
00:27:53.260 performances but through
00:27:54.720 speaking up for all of
00:27:55.780 the kids finding out
00:27:56.780 who they are
00:27:57.540 well there you go
00:27:59.660 perfect example of
00:28:01.160 what we just talked
00:28:01.860 about there are some
00:28:02.460 things worthy of
00:28:03.200 hatred not hating the
00:28:04.720 kids it's not their
00:28:06.140 fault they're victims
00:28:07.300 this is this is sexual
00:28:08.340 abuse they are sexual
00:28:09.140 abuse victims we
00:28:09.860 don't hate them we
00:28:11.660 hate what's being done
00:28:12.360 to them that's what we
00:28:15.240 hate and you hear it
00:28:18.400 right there in the video
00:28:19.580 I mean this is this is
00:28:20.840 grooming and that's
00:28:23.060 that's why we're they
00:28:23.880 don't want us to it's
00:28:24.680 like they've banned the
00:28:25.560 word and it's this
00:28:26.480 horrible slur because
00:28:27.520 it's true that's why
00:28:28.480 we're not allowed to say
00:28:29.120 it anything you're not
00:28:29.860 allowed to say these days
00:28:30.580 because it's true
00:28:31.120 you even hear the kids
00:28:34.580 say it they say that
00:28:35.780 well I saw you know I
00:28:37.000 saw drag when I was
00:28:38.660 10 years old and
00:28:39.220 that's what made me
00:28:39.820 decide I wanted to get
00:28:40.780 into drag that's
00:28:42.320 grooming that's
00:28:42.900 indoctrination that's
00:28:46.820 exactly why they want
00:28:48.760 to expose the kids to
00:28:50.200 this kind of stuff so
00:28:51.560 that the kids will
00:28:52.340 emulate it because
00:28:55.840 children are
00:28:56.500 impressionable and if
00:28:58.540 you put something in
00:28:59.200 front of their faces
00:28:59.860 and say this is cool
00:29:01.080 this is what you should
00:29:01.720 be doing they're very
00:29:02.820 likely to listen to
00:29:04.200 that so this is
00:29:08.960 this is exactly the
00:29:10.260 point it is full-on
00:29:14.080 grooming and and
00:29:15.620 sexual abuse not all
00:29:19.640 that different from you
00:29:20.940 know what is it the
00:29:21.700 Afghanistan the Taliban
00:29:24.840 Bakabazi I think they
00:29:26.580 call it very similar
00:29:29.980 thing they take
00:29:30.920 adolescent boys dress
00:29:32.480 them up like girls
00:29:33.740 have them dance
00:29:34.360 around for the for
00:29:35.880 the as a spectacle
00:29:39.900 for grown pervert men
00:29:42.260 who sit there and
00:29:42.820 watch it similar
00:29:46.340 idea a little bit of
00:29:48.460 a different you know
00:29:49.720 different words
00:29:51.580 different it's it's
00:29:52.780 cloaked in a kind of
00:29:53.940 a different way but
00:29:55.740 very similar idea well
00:29:58.200 here's a very brief
00:29:59.080 tick-tock from a this
00:30:00.600 is a therapist here in
00:30:01.660 Nashville and a
00:30:02.560 therapist is named
00:30:03.300 Bailey Jo Carter and
00:30:06.040 this is like six
00:30:06.860 seconds long and
00:30:07.720 there's no audio in it
00:30:08.540 but here she is
00:30:09.360 bragging about using
00:30:11.280 suicide threats to
00:30:13.280 manipulate parents go
00:30:15.140 ahead and watch this
00:30:15.640 real quick
00:30:16.000 the client's mom and said do
00:30:25.820 you want a transgender kid or
00:30:27.420 a dead kid so this is her
00:30:30.260 saying this is what she
00:30:32.540 says to parents you want a
00:30:33.640 trans kid or a dead kid and
00:30:36.460 this is of course what
00:30:37.780 therapists and counselors have
00:30:39.500 been saying to parents for
00:30:40.840 many years now to manipulate
00:30:43.620 them it's emotional
00:30:44.660 blackmail to get them to go
00:30:46.340 along with the gender
00:30:48.520 transition and it's
00:30:51.540 especially when I mean this
00:30:53.220 is this is horrifically
00:30:56.320 evil they know exactly what
00:30:58.460 they're doing also keep it
00:31:00.420 keep in mind something here
00:31:01.200 that you know very often when
00:31:04.140 the therapists say this to
00:31:05.380 the parents the parents go to
00:31:08.320 the therapist they bring the
00:31:09.520 kid in as they say the
00:31:11.480 child's struggling with
00:31:12.560 gender dysphoria feels not
00:31:14.460 at home in his own body
00:31:15.480 whatever it is very often
00:31:19.280 and there are plenty of
00:31:21.080 parents that will tell you
00:31:21.840 this if you talk to the
00:31:23.460 therapist will bring up
00:31:24.860 suicide as a possibility
00:31:26.360 even if the child never
00:31:28.620 mentioned anything about
00:31:29.780 suicidal thoughts it's the
00:31:32.180 therapist and the
00:31:32.860 counselors who will introduce
00:31:34.060 this idea to the parent and
00:31:36.600 the child
00:31:37.140 but even if the child had
00:31:41.860 brought it up now even if
00:31:43.380 the child who's struggling
00:31:45.740 with this gender confusion
00:31:47.300 had already on his own or
00:31:50.120 on her own brought up these
00:31:51.740 suicidal thoughts that still
00:31:55.140 would not make this okay at
00:31:56.860 all for the therapist to take
00:31:57.960 this approach because why are
00:32:01.400 the children suicidal why are
00:32:03.680 they you know if you're
00:32:04.780 suicidal you're in a state of
00:32:06.980 despair every single
00:32:08.020 suicidal person that's
00:32:09.420 ultimately what what brings
00:32:12.260 about the suicide is a state
00:32:13.480 of despair and what are they
00:32:16.500 despairing over what's the
00:32:18.860 source of that despair it's
00:32:21.940 because they they they you
00:32:23.860 know are unable to accept
00:32:27.540 themselves for who they
00:32:29.020 actually are you know they
00:32:34.260 feel like there's something
00:32:35.060 wrong with their body something
00:32:37.740 wrong with them in a way that
00:32:39.680 can never be fixed they feel
00:32:41.440 not at home in their own
00:32:42.600 bodies
00:32:42.960 and it's quite easy to see how
00:32:48.440 that would bring about feelings
00:32:49.580 of despair
00:32:50.080 so what's the what's the
00:32:53.780 solution then
00:32:54.520 the solution is to help them to
00:32:59.340 accept themselves for who they
00:33:00.660 are and what one of the things
00:33:04.300 that makes this so infuriating is
00:33:05.780 just how easy it would be in so
00:33:09.840 many of these cases every once
00:33:12.560 in a while you have a kid where
00:33:13.640 the gender confusion gender
00:33:16.120 dysphoria is is much more deeply
00:33:18.840 seated and it's would take them
00:33:21.420 and it takes a lot longer to help
00:33:25.420 them navigate their way through it to
00:33:27.240 treat it
00:33:28.040 it could still be done though
00:33:31.320 I mean there's it doesn't
00:33:33.640 doesn't matter how deep it is
00:33:34.740 there's never a time when you
00:33:36.200 should just give into it and say
00:33:37.680 okay well if you feel like you're
00:33:38.660 this other gender then you must be
00:33:39.660 that's never the solution it's
00:33:40.820 never the right thing
00:33:41.860 you know with so many of these
00:33:44.940 kids it's it's not that deeply
00:33:46.720 seated
00:33:47.040 all they need is just a little bit
00:33:50.340 of clarity if they had a little bit
00:33:51.920 of clarity
00:33:52.320 that's all they would need and
00:33:54.200 they'd get over it
00:33:55.320 for many of these kids it's it's a
00:33:58.820 very surface level level thing
00:34:00.420 and you shed a little bit of light
00:34:03.480 give them a little bit of guidance
00:34:04.920 for many of these kids you know in
00:34:07.540 the beginning all they need to hear
00:34:09.360 is from an adult they trust if you
00:34:11.660 got a boy who thinks he's a girl or
00:34:13.420 is saying that all he needs to hear
00:34:15.420 from some adult he trusts is no you're
00:34:17.220 a boy it's what it's a good thing to
00:34:18.960 be a boy it's wonderful to be who you
00:34:21.040 are that you you should embrace
00:34:25.020 that and accept that that's all he
00:34:27.560 needs to hear but he doesn't and so
00:34:30.780 what starts as this kind of surface
00:34:32.640 level confusion eventually becomes
00:34:35.180 much more deeply seated and this also
00:34:38.460 sheds some light on this report from
00:34:39.700 the post-millennial says the number
00:34:41.900 of American children being treated for
00:34:43.460 gender dysphoria has risen sharply in
00:34:45.460 recent years with prescriptions for
00:34:46.940 puberty blockers doubling between 2017
00:34:49.540 and 2021 according to the Daily Mail the
00:34:51.560 data comes from health insurance
00:34:52.600 reports meaning the actual numbers are
00:34:54.460 likely to be much higher due to the
00:34:55.780 number of patients paying out of
00:34:57.500 pocket for the experimental and
00:34:59.440 harmful treatments the meteoric rise in
00:35:02.640 American doctors attempting to perform
00:35:04.180 sex changes on minors has occurred
00:35:06.600 while other nations are starting to move
00:35:08.080 away from affirmation and puberty
00:35:09.580 suppression and back to a more cautious
00:35:11.400 psychotherapeutic approach to this for
00:35:13.560 those for this vulnerable cohort of
00:35:16.320 young people Sweden Finland England France
00:35:18.500 New Zealand have all recently abandoned the
00:35:21.100 affirmative model of care due to concerns
00:35:23.060 that the risks far outweigh the benefits
00:35:25.000 the Daily Mail took data collected by
00:35:28.180 Komodo Health an analyst company that
00:35:30.540 monitors health insurance claims and
00:35:32.680 created graphs showing this explosion in
00:35:35.000 young people being diagnosed and treated
00:35:36.680 for gender dysphoria the data shows the
00:35:40.400 prescriptions for puberty blockers for
00:35:41.720 those age 6 to 17 leapt from 633 in
00:35:44.660 2017 to 1390 in 2021 these drugs were once
00:35:49.120 thought to be a fully reversible pause
00:35:50.920 to give a child more time to figure out
00:35:52.740 their identity but recent studies have
00:35:54.300 shown that almost almost every child put
00:35:56.600 on puberty blockers goes on to take
00:35:57.880 cross-sex hormones meaning the drugs
00:35:59.960 make further medical transition almost a
00:36:02.700 foregone conclusion according to Daily
00:36:06.380 Mail report the number of insurance claims
00:36:07.960 for young people taking cross-sex hormones
00:36:09.720 soared from a little under 2000 in 2017 to
00:36:13.460 4,231 in 2021 so you're seeing a doubling
00:36:17.620 and this again you know anytime you see
00:36:19.780 numbers like this it's always going to be
00:36:21.760 an undercount for the reasons that they
00:36:26.720 say in the post-millennial report but also
00:36:28.480 because you know the people that were
00:36:31.400 relying on for this information have every
00:36:34.520 incentive to under to give you an
00:36:36.860 undercount the people in the health
00:36:40.400 industry the pharmaceutical industry it
00:36:43.600 doesn't do them any good to actually give
00:36:46.460 us the real numbers because the more we
00:36:50.740 see that and we see this explosion the
00:36:53.760 more it makes people kind of recoil and
00:36:56.080 say well what the heck's going on here you
00:36:59.840 see a doubling a tripling whatever
00:37:01.400 quadrupling that makes even people who
00:37:05.240 have been totally oblivious to this point
00:37:06.860 they sit up they take notice and they
00:37:08.340 say what wait why is that happening
00:37:10.060 that's exactly the question that the
00:37:14.400 medical industry doesn't want you to ask
00:37:16.100 so even with this undercount even coming
00:37:21.320 from sources that are biased in the other
00:37:23.300 direction you can still see the the social
00:37:27.640 contagion very clearly in action all
00:37:30.680 right here's a headline from Madison 365
00:37:32.840 actually I won't tell you the headline
00:37:34.600 yet I want to read from the article a
00:37:36.760 little bit and you can tell me if if you
00:37:39.600 see where this is going okay if you're
00:37:42.660 very insightful and you've been paying
00:37:44.280 attention you might you might pick up on
00:37:46.200 this you might you might guess the twist
00:37:47.700 ending before we even get to it early in
00:37:50.600 2020 an indigenous artist urged the owners
00:37:53.000 of a new music venue in town to change its
00:37:55.300 name it was called the Winnebago after the
00:37:58.600 street on which it stands many indigenous
00:38:00.200 people and allies let the owners know that
00:38:02.480 that wasn't the best name for a white
00:38:04.180 owned music venue one of them was oh great
00:38:08.180 okay here's the name this person was going
00:38:10.060 by it's gonna take me a second
00:38:12.080 nibbu wakamigque nibbu wakamigque nibbu wakamigque
00:38:18.120 nibbu wakamigque nibbu wakamigque okay that's the
00:38:22.060 name that she was going by also known as K
00:38:24.120 LeClaire that's actually hurting a founding
00:38:26.560 member and co-owner of the queer indigenous
00:38:28.840 artists collective and budding leader of
00:38:31.960 Madison's indigenous arts community took
00:38:35.040 several months but the venue eventually
00:38:37.040 relented and rebranded as the burr oak
00:38:39.960 LeClaire wrote an editorial for our lives
00:38:43.140 Wisconsin at the time I'm glad the owners
00:38:46.180 have decided to no longer profit from the
00:38:48.220 identities of indigenous people I'm glad the
00:38:50.580 name is going but I'm not happy that the
00:38:52.660 institutions that allowed it to be stolen in
00:38:54.420 the first place remain for over 500 years
00:38:56.900 indigenous peoples have not controlled our
00:38:59.340 narratives and representations our exclusion
00:39:01.580 has been built into inclusion for others
00:39:04.300 one problem with that narrative this is the
00:39:08.100 part you've already guessed LeClaire wasn't
00:39:10.340 indigenous and was in fact profiting from the
00:39:12.940 identities of indigenous peoples herself so
00:39:16.340 since at least 2017 K LeClaire has claimed
00:39:18.720 Medes Oneida Cuban and Jewish heritage along
00:39:22.580 with a couple other indigenous cultures that
00:39:24.640 I'm not even trying to pronounce additionally
00:39:26.340 they identify as two-spirit a term many
00:39:29.440 indigenous people use to describe a non-binary
00:39:32.260 gender identity actually almost no indigenous
00:39:34.680 people use that term but whatever in addition
00:39:36.680 to becoming a member of a and co-owner of this
00:39:39.320 arts collective LeClaire earned several artist
00:39:41.900 stipends a paid residency at the University of
00:39:43.980 Wisconsin a place on the missing and murdered
00:39:46.400 indigenous women task force and many speaking
00:39:49.260 gigs and art exhibitions not to mention a
00:39:51.620 platform and trust of the community and this
00:39:54.800 all in spite of the fact that this person
00:39:56.360 apparently and then it's a very long story
00:39:58.040 that goes on from there but apparently this
00:39:59.460 person invented the entire indigenous persona
00:40:02.560 and this is you know a white person has no real
00:40:05.140 indigenous blood so same story we've seen many
00:40:08.040 times it's actually interesting because in this
00:40:09.440 article from Madison 365 which is the local
00:40:12.560 Wisconsin news outlet they still refer to Kayla
00:40:17.080 Claire as they so they respect the they pronoun
00:40:19.800 because you know she identifies as two-spirit which
00:40:23.940 supposedly is the indigenous or Native American
00:40:26.280 version of trans or non-binary which as I've told
00:40:28.900 you before it's not that's a that's a two-spirit is a
00:40:31.320 term invented by gay activists in 1990 okay it's not
00:40:34.200 it's not something that goes back into the ancient past all
00:40:38.360 right it's not like it's not like the the Mayans were
00:40:40.160 identifying themselves as two-spirit but so they're
00:40:44.120 still this is the funny thing about it they're still
00:40:46.180 respecting that so it's clear that she lied about her
00:40:49.960 whole identity she's she's come up with multiple false
00:40:52.280 identities she's Cuban woman she's Jewish to next she's
00:40:55.340 indigenous this she belongs to this tribe that tribe and
00:40:58.380 all that is fake but they're still respecting the gender
00:41:02.300 identity and refer because that couldn't possibly be fake
00:41:05.100 right and so they're still going to refer to her as they
00:41:07.360 but you know it's it's the same story we've seen so many
00:41:13.260 times that's why you could guess the ending before we even
00:41:15.160 got there uh people white white people and it's it's you
00:41:18.920 know it is interesting that it's so often white women in
00:41:22.240 particular it's not that men never do this but it's it is
00:41:24.880 very often white women who um invent this minority
00:41:30.500 identification for themselves which is very fascinating
00:41:34.940 because if we indeed of course lived in a society with
00:41:39.100 systemic racism and systemic uh oppression of these various
00:41:43.440 groups then why would you have so many people who are in the
00:41:47.460 group in power clamoring to get to to be identified with the
00:41:52.600 persecuted group there is no precedent for that in history
00:41:57.660 there's plenty of precedent for actually persecuted groups in a
00:42:02.520 society but what you find is that if you go back to you know any
00:42:06.240 historical precedent of a of a persecuted group you don't have
00:42:09.580 people in the in the powerful group trying to falsely identify
00:42:14.480 themselves as members of the persecuted group it usually goes the
00:42:19.100 other way where people in the persecuted group are trying to claim
00:42:22.620 identity outside of that group so they aren't persecuted the fact that
00:42:27.840 this is happening is pretty good evidence that the persecution is all uh is
00:42:32.460 all fake finally you know i can't neglect to to mention that today is
00:42:37.200 january 6th 2023 and uh that should have been the number
00:42:40.800 one headline i apologize it's the two year two year
00:42:45.720 anniversary of um january 6th 2021 and that is a day that will live forever
00:42:52.900 in our memory as a day that came right before january 7th 2021
00:42:59.240 and even right after january 5th 2021 these were all days that was a day
00:43:08.840 today is a day
00:43:11.300 and that's all that needs to be said about it let's get to the comment section

00:44:39.060 cultured anime says we live in a world where tate gets arrested before any one of
00:44:43.940 jeffrey epstein's clients do uh right and that's and that's a perfectly good and valid
00:44:48.720 point and i've heard a lot of people bringing that up and for good reason because i mean
00:44:53.080 well well whether andrew tate is arrested or not um the the it's it remains outrageous
00:44:58.880 that um that you know they arrested and then allegedly had this uh you know global sex
00:45:10.200 sex trafficker who was you know uh associated with all these very prominent people uh kill
00:45:18.980 himself even though he didn't really kill himself and yet and that's the end of it like we haven't
00:45:23.220 heard anything else about what what what about all these people that he was was associated with
00:45:27.600 so apparently it's very it's very interesting that he's a global sex trafficker pedophile
00:45:32.920 pimp uh jeffrey epstein and yet he had apparently had no clients
00:45:39.400 millions and millions of dollars and there were and but he didn't had there was nobody
00:45:44.840 is what we're supposed to believe
00:45:46.900 um and as far as andrew tate goes as i said i i have no idea if he's innocent or guilty that's
00:45:53.840 that's something that has to be proven in a court of law and if they prove it they prove it
00:45:57.920 um
00:46:00.140 harry lagman says fantastic i was confident you'd get it right about andrew tate both the good sides
00:46:07.400 the less good and the reasons men like him are the unsurprising product of a society that is hostile to
00:46:12.000 boys and men telling them to be more like women as you say it's not just the lack of role models much
00:46:16.640 that uh gives boys and men strength that is attacked i'm thinking specifically of patriotism
00:46:21.640 the identity with one with with one's country and the wish to excel at any job sport or skill
00:46:26.160 but also the role as a father fathers have been undermined to a disastrous extent by the law
00:46:30.880 any father if he doesn't know it already discovers this sooner or later sometimes very painfully
00:46:35.560 and uh it's not getting any better yeah i agree with you as we said in the opening
00:46:41.360 that the deck legally the deck is stacked against husbands and fathers stacked against men and family
00:46:48.060 court and all the rest of it um that's true but as i said if we if we respond to that by just
00:46:58.360 abandoning ship then we have given the other side everything they want there's a re that's the
00:47:04.920 whole reason that they rig it in this way is that they want us to give up on the family
00:47:08.880 because you have to remember that the cultural elites and the left generally they consider the
00:47:15.760 family especially a so-called quote-unquote traditional family led by a man a father and a
00:47:22.460 husband they consider that the enemy and so if you abandon it then you are doing exactly what they
00:47:30.000 want you to do they see every man says going his own way and is giving up on this and they say
00:47:34.620 yep thank you it's exactly what we want uh hoosier flatty says are you willing to reassess your
00:47:43.560 worldview that the earth is a moving oblate spheroid i'd have to know what oblate spheroid
00:47:49.020 means to reassess it but if you mean that i'm willing to reassess my worldview that the world itself
00:47:55.980 is round uh the answer is is sure yeah they present the evidence to me if you could actually present
00:48:02.500 real evidence that the earth is actually flat it's been everything i think about the world is wrong
00:48:09.100 um i'd be fascinated just go ahead tell me what the evidence is it's just that it doesn't exist so
00:48:16.040 that's the only problem um not look i'm willing to read evidence on about anything now if you have
00:48:23.540 actual evidence that the entire that we're living in a simulation and nothing of none of this is real
00:48:28.860 and we're all just like brains in a vat hooked up by wires to some matrix like thing if you have
00:48:35.300 evidence of that i'd be i'd be fascinated to know and it'd be great to know because then i could tell
00:48:40.960 everyone on my podcast and that would get a lot of views in the simulation um another comment says
00:48:48.760 it's frustrating to see someone like matt point out that the world is on men and then have him on some
00:48:53.640 of the men in children's lives lump on a log without bothering to point out the direct cause of these
00:48:58.080 issues the mother i'm so sick of the discussion around men and who and what they should be tiptoeing
00:49:03.680 around the disastrous choices that the women in their lives be it a mother girlfriend wife or peer
00:49:08.020 make stop blaming men okay well you seem to be suggesting that i agree that we shouldn't blame
00:49:17.680 men for everything and we shouldn't just only blame men in other words like our message to men
00:49:23.700 should not be one solely of blame we agree on that but you're going to the extreme other end of this
00:49:31.340 and saying that we should never blame men for anything which of course is ridiculous what you're
00:49:37.720 actually claiming here is a i i mentioned that there are absentee fathers and there are also plenty
00:49:42.920 of fathers who are physically present in the home but are lumps on a log they're not they're not present
00:49:48.340 in any other way they're not actually leading their families that is a real thing that exists and what
00:49:53.440 you're saying is that in every single one of those cases it's not the man's fault it's actually the
00:49:57.520 woman's fault do you understand how childish and ludicrous that is yeah we don't want to blame men but
00:50:05.200 don't infantilize them either nothing is our fault i'm a victim of everything so even if you're a man
00:50:13.440 who chooses to just sit on your ass and play video games all day and do nothing and you have kids and
00:50:19.900 you let your wife do everything and you do nothing that's not it's not my fault as you're playing the
00:50:24.180 video game i can't help it oh please you know what infantilizing men in that way is even worse than
00:50:31.940 blaming them okay heaping scorn and blame on men is really really bad even worse is infantilizing them
00:50:41.940 because at least if if you if you point a finger of blame at men and you say like at least that
00:50:48.880 might motivate there are plenty of men who that's they end up being demoralized and all the rest of
00:50:53.080 it by it but uh it could also go the other way see for me when i hear that message from society it's
00:50:58.220 motivating it doesn't motivate me in the way that society wants to motivate me but yeah it makes me
00:51:06.060 kind of angry and that anger sort of like fuels me to to succeed all the more so it can have that
00:51:13.740 effect but infantilization that's just that that it would if if men listen to that they just become
00:51:21.960 helpless babies victims okay you never want to be a victim even when you are a victim you shouldn't
00:51:32.080 see yourself as a victim 2022 was an incredible year filled with many accomplishments including
00:51:37.620 the release of my smash hit documentary what is a woman the rally to end child mutilation which
00:51:42.140 resulted in vanderbilt university medical center pausing their gender affirming surgeries on minor
00:51:46.460 so-called and i even became 2022's transphobe of the year and uh that was a great honor and all this is
00:51:53.040 really all well and good but we're just getting started ring in 2023 with the latest installment
00:51:57.660 of my patch program which is the sweet baby new year patch it's a beacon for the strides against
00:52:03.860 the left that we're going to make and the ground we're going to retake new year same sbg it'll sell
00:52:09.680 out fast so you got to go to dailywire.com slash shop today also last year jordan peterson joined
00:52:14.920 dailywire plus and since then he's put out a ton of inspiring and informative content he started with
00:52:19.240 dragons monsters and men and then has also his series on marriage and has followed up with logos and
00:52:24.920 literacy and then his new biblical series exodus which is available to watch right now so far my
00:52:29.740 favorite was on marriage as we drift further away from traditional values it's no secret that we're
00:52:33.820 becoming more and more lost as we drift away from traditional values a lot of this has to do with
00:52:38.100 men refusing to grow up and people refusing to enter into marriages like we've talked about
00:52:41.860 so often on this show jordan does a fantastic job of explaining why marriage is not only preferable
00:52:46.900 but it's really our true calling in life there's only one place where you can watch this and all of
00:52:51.920 jordan peterson's exclusive content and that's on dailywire plus so head to dailywire.com slash walsh
00:52:56.420 to become a member and watch all of this and more that's dailywire.com slash walsh today now let's
00:53:01.960 get to our daily cancellation over the last few months yet another popular new trend has been gaining
00:53:10.880 steam on tiktok though i didn't hear about it until yesterday when i saw an interesting video that
00:53:15.640 conservative commentator lauren chen had made on the subject now it's strange that i would be so behind
00:53:20.940 the curve on this because as you all know i'm usually very plugged in i'm very with it up to
00:53:25.800 date on all the trends i think i'm known that way in any case this fashionable new trend is called the
00:53:31.440 stay-at-home girlfriend there's a buzzfeed article explains what it's all about though perhaps it's
00:53:36.600 rather self-explanatory this is what it says the day-to-day life of kendall k one of tiktok's maligned
00:53:42.260 stay-at-home girlfriends appears in her viral videos to be well fairly dull we're jealous her glamorous
00:53:48.600 non-employment doesn't seem to entail much more than journaling preparing healthy snacks and seeing
00:53:54.160 an occasional butterfly on twitter people say that she seems like she has been lobotomized highly
00:53:59.200 medicated or generally unfulfilled her meticulous self-care and fitness routines a symptom of the
00:54:04.400 spreading that girl aesthetic have been compared to that of american psychos serial killer patrick
00:54:09.460 bateman parody videos abound but her slow soft life resonated with many instead of criticizing her lack of a
00:54:15.840 9 to 5 they related to the dream of one day being rich enough to have a do-nothing job we've long been
00:54:21.280 on the verge of a hustle culture reckoning and k is one post away from leading the revolution is it
00:54:26.720 possible some of these critics were just jealous too now there are apparently many videos on tiktok of
00:54:32.320 these stay-at-home girlfriends showing what their sort of day-to-day life is like here's a sampling from
00:54:38.800 the tiktoker mentioned in that article here it is this is my day in the life as a stay-at-home girlfriend
00:54:45.240 i'm currently in vancouver so i'm in a new house which is so fun and the first thing i do is take my
00:54:53.200 aloe shot i love having this on an empty stomach and i take my greens then i get straight to making
00:55:01.300 luke's coffee because he's definitely a caffeine first thing in the morning kind of guy i am adding some
00:55:08.340 honey and cream and i made these cookies yesterday so i'm gonna give him a couple of those to eat with
00:55:14.000 his coffee then i sit down and do some journaling and some reading and then i get to making myself a
00:55:21.380 matcha with some cinnamon and ground ginger and then i add some cashew milk on top yum then i do my skin
00:55:30.260 skincare and my led mask and then some ice rolling just love doing the longest skincare routine in the
00:55:39.560 morning then i love to open all the blinds in the house and get all the sunlight i can
00:55:45.720 and make the bed of course to keep the house tidy and looking its best
00:55:51.900 then it's time to make some breakfast i've been loving these oats lately well you probably get
00:56:02.040 the idea they're actually her morning routine is a lot like mine um you know i stumble out of the
00:56:06.660 out of uh my room and i'm like uh just barely awake and my kids try to talk to me and say don't don't
00:56:13.380 talk to me until i have my aloe shot and greens and do my skincare routine the ice roller whatever that
00:56:19.340 is uh no actually that doesn't happen but at least the part where she makes coffee i can relate to that
00:56:23.260 the rest of it not so much but uh as the buzzfeed piece alluded to not everyone is on board with the
00:56:29.060 stay-at-home girlfriends uh as is always the case with a tiktok trend there has arisen a competing trend
00:56:34.700 of videos explaining why the other trend is deeply problematic problematic and critics are primarily
00:56:41.260 concerned that stay-at-home girlfriends are living a terribly unfeminist life having deprived
00:56:46.380 themselves of the empowerment and glamour of the cubicle in favor of living under the misogynistic
00:56:51.200 tyranny of a boyfriend who provides for their every need according to these critics you know a woman is
00:56:55.840 is supposed to put on a pantsuit and go to work and climb the corporate ladder a life that is so
00:57:00.980 famously liberating and enriching to the soul she's certainly not meant to be at home meanwhile other
00:57:06.780 critics have decided that it is of course racist to be a stay-at-home girlfriend here's user
00:57:11.380 fazioli breadstick explaining this logic this just reminded me of a thread i saw on twitter the other
00:57:18.700 day you can pause to read but this is from the cindy noir i've already made multiple videos about
00:57:23.680 greek life but you should definitely pause and read her take on it once again i just want to reiterate
00:57:28.360 that it's not my business or anybody else's for that matter what you choose to do whether you work
00:57:33.300 or don't work and let me be very clear that when i'm talking about the stay-at-home girlfriend trend
00:57:37.160 i'm not talking about how other cultures divide labor in the household rather i am talking about
00:57:41.640 the very recent cultural phenomenon in which white women in particular romanticize the idea of opting
00:57:46.640 out of labor that is otherwise delegated to lower income people and people of color what do videos
00:57:51.040 like these tell you about a who gets to rest b who deserves rest and c how you get rest i find it
00:57:57.360 interesting that in these videos nobody is calling these women lazy or gold diggers in fact most of them
00:58:01.840 are concerned that they're being taken advantage of when you look at most social movements and political
00:58:06.720 movements upper white middle class women are nowhere to be found because if they wanted to
00:58:09.900 create meaningful social change they could they choose not to because it goes against their class
00:58:12.960 interests there might drop by right no one is calling these women lazy or gold diggers except for
00:58:19.320 all the thousands of people who are calling them exactly that this is very common on the left they'll
00:58:24.120 often declare you know when white people do fill in the blank nobody criticizes them for it yet in
00:58:28.360 reality everyone criticizes them for it including the person claiming they're not being criticized for it
00:58:33.120 indeed the truth is the other way around usually if it was primarily black women making a stay-at-home
00:58:38.320 girlfriend videos then you wouldn't be allowed to criticize it but in this case miss breadstick seems
00:58:44.540 to be arguing that because so many racial minorities are not able to opt out of the labor force
00:58:49.220 white women shouldn't opt out either they must be allies they must make their lifestyle decisions
00:58:54.180 based on what other people are doing they're not allowed to be happy because that would be unfair to
00:58:59.100 all of the racial minorities who miss breadstick assumes are not happy this is allyship and here
00:59:05.100 allyship specifically means apparently getting a job in the service industry even if you don't need it
00:59:10.560 or want it which only means that you'll be taking a position away from someone potentially a racial
00:59:15.960 minority who does need it and want it so i don't think that miss breadstick has thought this all the
00:59:21.220 way through but these criticisms are all you know of course extremely stupid it may be unfeminist to
00:59:27.180 become a stay-at-home girlfriend but there's nothing wrong with being unfeminist on the contrary
00:59:30.580 that's the lane that any woman should want to be in considering that feminists are also resentful and
00:59:36.520 miserable if you don't know which way you want to go in life and you're a woman you could do worse
00:59:42.620 than simply just looking at whatever feminists are doing and heading in the exact opposite direction
00:59:48.000 it's also obviously not racist to live your own life how you want to live it you're not morally
00:59:53.380 required to conduct a racial inventory before making every decision in your life and even if
00:59:58.380 you did conduct the inventory there's no point to it because according to the left it's racist for a
01:00:02.840 white person to do things that black people aren't doing but it's also racist to do things that they
01:00:06.980 are doing so there's no sense in playing a game that you can't win uh and and that's why all these
01:00:12.060 criticisms are ridiculous but here's a criticism of the stay-at-home girlfriend trend that is not
01:00:18.660 ridiculous the real problem with the stay-at-home girlfriend lifestyle is not the stay-at-home part
01:00:25.780 it's the girlfriend part the problem of course is that these women aren't married that's the issue
01:00:32.120 what this trend actually represents is a is a broader trend uh in a continued attempt by many people in our
01:00:40.540 culture to figure out a way to enjoy the benefits of marriage without actually getting married
01:00:45.960 so many young people and young couples they seek to take on the form of a married relationship
01:00:52.440 mimic it but without the substance of the marriage they're playing house they're playing pretend
01:00:58.480 and that's where this trend truly becomes to use the left's favorite term problematic
01:01:04.560 that's what you actually see in that video it is it is a a woman who's just like it's it's house
01:01:10.720 you're playing house it is a more sophisticated game of house the problems here are many but we
01:01:18.200 will um briefly focus on just one you know both the stay-at-home girlfriend and the working boyfriend
01:01:25.140 have made themselves incredibly vulnerable here and they've set themselves up for a nearly inevitable
01:01:31.800 and inevitably messy and heartbreaking split because the girl is relying on the guy entirely to
01:01:38.620 subsidize her lifestyle relying on him to bring home the bacon and bring home everything else too
01:01:42.920 and yet the one thing she doesn't have from him the one thing he's not providing even if she seems to
01:01:49.360 have everything else is any sort of meaningful commitment she is leaning on him completely but he can
01:01:55.520 just step to the side at any moment and send her crashing to the floor he hasn't even promised not to do
01:02:03.160 that he hasn't so much as promised not to step to the side indeed by not marrying her he has promised
01:02:10.000 that eventually he will abandon because that's the whole reason why you refuse to get married to someone
01:02:15.460 is because you want to leave your you want to leave that escape hatch in place a refusal to commit
01:02:22.040 is a commitment of its own you are committing to breaking up down the line eventually and when that day
01:02:28.360 comes you know the the breakup of this non-committed effectively meaningless relationship will be very
01:02:34.860 messy and difficult much more messy and difficult than a breakup between boyfriend and girlfriend ought
01:02:38.960 to be because normally dumping your girlfriend should require no more than one awkward conversation and
01:02:44.780 that's it you go your separate ways and you never have to speak to each other again if you don't want
01:02:50.460 to that's the way it should go if you're just dating someone that's the whole point of dating that's
01:02:55.460 one of the things that's supposed to separate it from marriage is that you're not in really entangled
01:02:59.380 in any way you just you're living your own lives you're dating and if you want to live one life
01:03:03.480 together that's why you get married and the great thing is that if you're not if you're living
01:03:08.160 separate lives and then you decide that okay we're not going to get married this isn't going to work
01:03:10.760 out just go your separate ways that's it you'll be sad about it for a while but you'll get over it
01:03:15.540 once you've added houses and mortgages into the mix then when you when you've taken on many of the
01:03:23.360 obligations and shared roles of a marriage even though you aren't married you end up with a
01:03:27.380 breakup that feels and looks an awful lot like a divorce so you never had the benefit of the marriage
01:03:35.180 but you still get the crap storm of the divorce it's the worst of all worlds and then the guy in
01:03:43.440 this arrangement is no better is in no better shape he's working every day and providing for a woman who
01:03:48.280 has made no commitment to him he has taken on a dependent and yet still has no wife he is a man
01:03:55.780 with no wife no children no marriage no family and yet still has a dependent that he's taking care of
01:04:01.200 every day you know there's that crass expression often used to describe a man with a live-in girlfriend
01:04:07.080 they say well you know he's getting the milk for free so why buy the cow but the truth is that he's the
01:04:12.520 cow in this scenario he's being used by a woman who again has made no promises to him no commitment
01:04:18.420 no oath of fealty she could be spending part of her ample free time every day in bed with some other
01:04:24.480 guy she met at the gym or whatever and she wouldn't even be violating any vow by doing so because no vow
01:04:30.300 was ever made the guy can't even say you broke your promise i never promised anything to you
01:04:35.960 not officially we couldn't even call it an affair because they aren't married so it's not an affair
01:04:42.800 she would be cheating yes but cheating what an ambiguous relationship where no official promises
01:04:47.980 or commitments have ever been made so what this is why if you want to enjoy a relationship that looks
01:04:55.400 and acts like a marriage there is no substitute for actually getting married no matter how desperately
01:05:00.600 our culture looks for a substitute it's just not there and that is why even after defending the
01:05:05.520 stay-at-home girlfriends from some of their especially stupid critics i must still say that
01:05:10.260 the stay-at-home girlfriends are unfortunately canceled although they could just graduate to being
01:05:15.840 stay-at-home wives and mothers and then that would be a whole other story entirely and that'll do it for
01:05:20.820 this portion of the show as we move over to the members block hope to see you there if not talk to
01:05:25.640 you tomorrow godspeed
01:05:35.520 you
