Summary

A violent mob of trans activists assaulted and harassed a campus speaker last night. They even chased her into a room and held her against her will, otherwise known as kidnapping. This happened on the same day that news broke of another trans terrorist who had planned attacks on schools and churches in his area. Trans terrorism is becoming a major problem in our country, and we need to talk about it. Also, Republicans in the Tennessee legislature voted to expel two Democrats who led an insurrection in the Capitol. And a new study shows that a rapid rise of ADHD is occurring among adult women in this country. Is that because of some kind of mysterious mental illness going around, or could there be another explanation? We ll talk about all of that and much more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:00:00.080 Today on the Matt Wall Show, a violent mob of trans activists assaulted and harassed a campus speaker last night.
00:00:05.460 They even chased her into a room and held her against her will, otherwise known as kidnapping.
00:00:08.980 This happened on the same day that news breaks of another trans terrorist who had planned attacks on schools and churches in his area.
00:00:15.880 Trans terrorism is becoming a major problem in our country. We need to talk about it.
00:00:19.680 Also, Republicans in the Tennessee legislature voted to expel two Democrats who led an insurrection in the Capitol.
00:00:25.120 It's great to see Republicans actually fighting back for a change.
00:00:27.060 And a new study shows that a rapid rise of ADHD is occurring among adult women in this country.
00:00:32.840 It's also rising in all other age groups.
00:00:35.280 Is that because there's some kind of mysterious mental illness going around, or could there be another explanation?
00:00:40.780 We'll talk about all of that and much more today on the Matt Wall Show.
00:00:51.460 Roe vs. Wade has been overturned, and this battle is now finally leaving D.C. and going to the grassroots.
00:00:56.500 As one of the largest pro-life organizations in the world, no one is in a better position than 40 Days for Life to end abortion in a post-Roe America.
00:01:03.360 With about 1 million volunteers in 1,500 cities, 40 Days for Life holds peaceful vigils outside abortion facilities.
00:01:09.100 Because of that, they actually have a larger presence in blue states, specifically California.
00:01:13.540 Former abortion clinic directors say these vigils can cause the abortion no-show rate to go as high as 75%, which is detrimental to their abortion business.
00:01:21.080 Because these law-abiding vigils have helped close abortion facilities in San Francisco, Seattle, and Chicago, and many other places.
00:01:28.020 They're also leading the way to efforts, for efforts to prevent pharmacies from dispensing chemical abortions.
00:01:32.940 And you can join their crucial work, support their work, and check out their locations and podcasts and a free magazine at 40daysforlife.com.
00:01:40.040 So, the fight for life is certainly not over.
00:01:42.880 In fact, it's never been more important.
00:01:44.220 So, you've got to get involved.
00:01:45.240 We all do.
00:01:45.720 For more information on 40 Days for Life, go to 40daysforlife.com.
00:01:49.040 It is sometimes said by some on the right that the fight to protect women's sports and to defend the privacy and safety of women in their locker rooms and bathrooms must be fought primarily by the women themselves, or only by the women themselves.
00:02:03.440 You know, if they're not going to defend their own spaces, then there's nothing the rest of us can do, the logic goes.
00:02:08.240 But I've always felt that this line of thinking is a pathetic cop-out.
00:02:11.780 I mean, it's something said by people who are trying to excuse their own inaction.
00:02:16.120 It's the rationalization of cowards.
00:02:18.200 Yes, women need to speak up.
00:02:21.000 Yes, it's true that not enough of them are.
00:02:23.240 But it's not the primary responsibility of young women in college and high school girls to beat back the march of gender ideology.
00:02:33.280 Okay, that cannot fall on them to do.
00:02:36.380 We can't leave them alone on the front lines because this is what happens when we do that.
00:02:41.580 Postmillennial reports, quote,
00:02:42.720 On Thursday night, swimmer and women's sports advocate Riley Gaines was assaulted by radical trans activists during a Turning Point USA event at San Francisco State University.
00:02:51.960 After allegedly being physically assaulted by a protester while she was escorted to a safe room, protesters followed Gaines and continued to harass her.
00:02:59.440 Quote,
00:02:59.660 Both the prisoners are running the asylum at SFSU, Gaines wrote on Twitter, along with footage of the incident.
00:03:04.880 This is proof that women need sex-protected spaces.
00:03:07.560 Still, only further assures me I'm doing something right.
00:03:10.100 When they want you, silence, speak louder.
00:03:12.220 I'm okay currently, but an hour and a half later, I'm still barricaded in a room with ambushers on the outside yelling and threatening violence, Gaines told the Postmillennial.
00:03:20.440 Now, as police escorted me out of the event space to my current location, I was hit physically twice by what I presume was a male individual.
00:03:27.100 This only assures me I'm doing the right thing.
00:03:30.420 Indeed, it should.
00:03:31.420 You know, you can't ask for a more profound confirmation of the righteousness of your cause than to be chased off of a college campus by a crazed pack of screaming leftist zombies.
00:03:42.140 That's exactly what happened to Riley Gaines.
00:03:43.640 Footage captured amid the chaos shows Riley running down the hallway while being chased by this violent, screeching mob.
00:03:51.000 Watch.
00:03:51.300 Are you ready?
00:03:58.660 Are you ready?
00:04:00.660 Are you ready?
00:04:06.660 Are you ready?
00:04:10.660 Trans rights are human rights.
00:04:40.640 This is what Riley gets for taking the provocative position that men are not women and shouldn't be allowed to disrobe in front of women in their locker rooms or compete against them in their sports leagues.
00:04:51.640 So if you're a woman and you say, no, I don't want a man disrobing in front of me, this is how you'll be treated.
00:05:00.100 She's defending logic and human decency in its most basic form.
00:05:04.860 And for that, these people want to kill her.
00:05:07.280 This is what any young woman who speaks up will face.
00:05:09.600 Is it any wonder why so many choose to stay silent?
00:05:13.580 Like, there aren't that many people who are willing to potentially deal with something like that.
00:05:20.400 And that's men, women.
00:05:22.260 It doesn't matter, you know, if you're a man or a woman, it doesn't matter what age you are.
00:05:26.940 Most people are not willing to put themselves in that position.
00:05:29.200 In fact, most of the people who say, well, it's up to the women to stand up.
00:05:32.160 I'm not going to.
00:05:33.240 Most of the people saying that would never put themselves in that position.
00:05:36.660 They don't have the guts to do it.
00:05:39.720 Riley's ordeal wasn't over.
00:05:41.140 The mob stayed outside the room, refusing to let her leave.
00:05:44.020 The student newspaper, the Golden Gate Express, captured video of the mob discussing what to do next.
00:05:50.580 And this, again, is why Riley, while Riley is barricaded inside of a room, and they're outside the room.
00:05:56.660 And listen to what they're saying.
00:05:58.000 Make her pay us, he said.
00:06:24.560 So, they are holding a young woman against her will and demanding payment.
00:06:30.980 Okay?
00:06:31.520 That's not just unlawful detainment.
00:06:33.600 That's straight up kidnapping, legally speaking.
00:06:37.380 That's a felony.
00:06:38.780 You actually are not allowed to do that according to the law.
00:06:41.620 I don't know if you knew that.
00:06:42.800 But you can't gang up as a mob and keep somebody barricaded in a room with the implicit or direct threat of violence.
00:06:51.180 Riley should pursue criminal charges against every student in that hallway.
00:06:56.200 Every single one.
00:06:57.300 Every single one should be expelled and arrested.
00:06:59.540 Anyone who happened to be standing in that hallway and was on the side of the mob, all of them, should have their lives destroyed.
00:07:07.520 That's where we are.
00:07:08.880 Okay?
00:07:09.180 That's what we should be advocating for.
00:07:11.880 All of the students in the hallway should have their lives destroyed because of this.
00:07:15.180 This doesn't stop until that becomes the consequence.
00:07:23.080 She needs to sue the school as well.
00:07:24.760 And I would be happy, and I've already said this on Twitter, I'd be happy to give her money to help fund that effort because the school needs to be sued also.
00:07:33.580 They allowed this to happen.
00:07:34.860 They put her in this position.
00:07:36.480 Those students were outside of the hallway for apparently over an hour or more.
00:07:40.340 They weren't escorted out.
00:07:42.900 What the hell are the police doing?
00:07:44.140 What are campus security?
00:07:45.300 What's anyone doing?
00:07:45.920 They're allowing them to stand there.
00:07:48.760 You've got a mob of people who just chase this woman into a room and are refusing to let her leave, and the cops are just standing around like, well, what are we going to do about it?
00:07:59.900 So I'll help in any way I can.
00:08:04.080 Everyone responsible needs to pay for this, and they need to pay dearly for it.
00:08:09.180 As it happens, this attack occurred only a few hours after news first dropped of another potential trans-terrorism attack that was thwarted by police at the last minute.
00:08:18.400 The Daily Wire reports, quote,
00:08:19.360 Law enforcement officials in Colorado have arrested a transgender individual with a communist manifesto for allegedly planning mass shootings at schools and churches in the area.
00:08:28.200 News of the arrest was made public on Thursday afternoon, but the arrest happened on March 31st, just a few days after a transgender terrorist massacred six people, including three children, at a private Christian school in Nashville.
00:08:37.480 The individual who the Daily Wire is not naming due to the company policy about not giving notoriety to mass killers or those who allegedly aspire to commit such atrocities is a biological male who goes by a different female name and uses she, her pronouns.
00:08:49.100 The 19-year-old was charged with a criminal attempt to commit murder in the first degree, two counts, criminal mischief, menacing, and interference with staff, faculty, or students of educational institutions.
00:08:57.320 The suspect allegedly targeted Timberview Middle School, Prairie Hills Elementary, Pine Creek High School, and other targets were churches, KRDO reported.
00:09:05.260 A family member turned the suspect into police, telling 911 that they had threatened to shoot up schools and had severe anger issues.
00:09:13.400 A spokesperson for the 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office told local media that the suspect was in the process of transitioning.
00:09:20.040 Police said the home had trash piled up all around the house to where it made it hard to walk,
00:09:24.660 and that there were numerous containers filled with half-eaten food with mold growing inside and numerous alcoholic beverage containers laying around the house.
00:09:30.780 The suspect also allegedly punched holes in the wall inside the house and ripped the door off the hinges.
00:09:37.740 Okay, so this was a severely disturbed person living in filth and squalor, prone to violent rage.
00:09:47.660 Yet his doctors, despite the fact that he's a general mess of a human being and obviously deeply troubled,
00:09:54.200 still apparently took his gender identity, quote-unquote, seriously, which is how he was able to begin his transition.
00:09:59.560 Yes, everything else about this guy is bizarre and disordered, but when he says he's really a woman,
00:10:06.100 well, now that is obviously a lucid and sober insight into his own true nature.
00:10:11.940 But once again, a gender transition, which is supposed to make somebody happy and fulfilled
00:10:15.560 and just make their lives better, utterly failed.
00:10:19.320 Rather than being happy and fulfilled, he was homicidal.
00:10:21.940 Fortunately, this trans-terrorist was foiled before he could carry out his plans, unlike the one here in Nashville.
00:10:28.700 But we're still left with two planned trans-terrorism attacks, one prevented, one not, in the span of two weeks.
00:10:37.640 Two of them.
00:10:38.100 And in between the Covenant attack and the news of this other attempted massacre,
00:10:43.260 we've seen trans mobs storm state capitol buildings, assault peaceful counter-protesters,
00:10:49.440 topped off by a violent mob accosting a campus speaker and holding her hostage.
00:10:55.460 And this is the trans-violence that we've seen in just two weeks.
00:10:58.920 All while the government, at the highest level, does everything it can to pour gasoline on the fire.
00:11:06.660 Here's the latest with that.
00:11:08.480 This has been one of the worst weeks of 2023 so far in terms of anti-LGBTQ bills becoming law in states across America.
00:11:19.700 According to the Human Rights Campaign, more than 50% of transgender youth in the U.S.,
00:11:26.160 which is estimated to be more than 150,000 kids,
00:11:30.160 live in states in which transgender youth have lost access to or at risk of losing access to gender-affirming care.
00:11:38.820 Look, this is awful news.
00:11:40.180 Let's be very clear about that.
00:11:44.380 LGBTQI plus kids are resilient.
00:11:47.980 They are fierce.
00:11:49.240 They fight back.
00:11:50.560 They're not going anywhere.
00:11:53.000 And we have their back.
00:11:55.060 This administration has their back.
00:11:58.400 We are so proud of the kids across this country who have organized protests and school walkouts
00:12:04.560 to tell the politicians in their states to stop this legislative bullying.
00:12:11.520 They've got to keep fighting.
00:12:13.480 This is also a really, really hard couple of weeks for trans people.
00:12:18.500 I mean, you know, you got trans people assaulting and killing people, but it's a really hard week for them.
00:12:24.440 Now, the White House and the Democrats, they know what they're doing.
00:12:29.660 They know what they're encouraging.
00:12:31.540 Democrats look at what happened to Riley last night, and their only regret is that she made it out alive.
00:12:36.200 They wish that she was dead.
00:12:37.700 And that's what we have to understand.
00:12:38.580 The left knows that it cannot intellectually defend its position on this topic,
00:12:43.720 not because they're too stupid to defend it.
00:12:46.180 I mean, many of them are stupid, but because it's impossible to defend.
00:12:49.480 The whole ideology is nothing but unintelligible gibberish, and they know that.
00:12:52.800 And they see what happens when anybody on their side attempts to defend it.
00:12:56.020 I mean, they see, for example, what happened to the people who tried to challenge me at New Mexico State University this week.
00:13:00.960 And they see how embarrassing it is for them, and they become all the more enraged and humiliated.
00:13:05.820 And so they're left with a choice, right?
00:13:07.840 They can surrender the issue.
00:13:09.360 They can admit they were wrong.
00:13:10.440 They can admit that this is all nonsense, or they can push their agenda through by other means.
00:13:18.380 Those are really their only option.
00:13:20.360 Give up on trans ideology completely.
00:13:22.880 You can do that.
00:13:24.220 Or you can assault, harass, intimidate, and kill your opponents.
00:13:29.420 We know which one they'll choose and have chosen.
00:13:33.240 Trans activists, they want us dead.
00:13:34.880 They believe they have the moral right to kill us.
00:13:37.100 The only thing that could stop them from doing it is fear of punishment.
00:13:41.000 But the system is on their side, egging them on.
00:13:43.060 And if none of the students who assaulted and kidnapped Riley Gaines are held accountable,
00:13:46.800 that will be the final confirmation that they need, that they can do whatever they want,
00:13:52.700 up to and including the commission of violent felonies all captured on film.
00:13:57.380 From there, all bets are off.
00:14:01.720 Which brings me back to what I said at the top.
00:14:05.480 We cannot leave it to a small collection of very brave young women to fight this out.
00:14:10.960 This is a fight that involves all of us.
00:14:14.680 And men, in my view, should be on the front lines, just as men should be on the front lines of any battle.
00:14:19.760 If we leave the opponents of this ideology alone and isolated, they will be easy targets.
00:14:27.160 So we all need to stand up.
00:14:28.740 None of us belong on the sidelines.
00:14:30.560 We're all called to the fight.
00:14:33.520 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:14:34.740 Why does great skin care and looking younger have to be only for the ladies?
00:14:44.760 I'm here to tell you it's not, thanks to GenuCell Skin Care.

00:14:51.380 Or how about those under eye bags and dark circles from getting up early to sit at a computer all day?
00:14:56.400 I'm just being relentlessly insulted right now by this ad copy.
00:15:00.020 Luckily for you, if you're a hideous beast like me, for the first time ever, GenuCell's including both the Ultra Retinol and Dark Spot Corrector in their most popular package at GenuCell.com slash Walsh.

00:15:30.380 Have you ever met a person that just naturally looks tired all the time?
00:15:33.560 Well, I have, and that's my broadcast engineer, Jeff.
00:15:36.580 He walks around the office looking like a zombie most of the time, given that's probably due to the fact that he's always here.
00:15:43.080 But still, that appearance is just unacceptable in my presence.
00:15:47.000 I can't even look at him.
00:15:49.460 Only one of us is allowed to be puffy and ugly, and that's me.
00:15:52.920 So that's why I forced Jeff to try GenuCell.
00:15:56.280 I said, put the lotion on your skin or you'll be fired, is what I said to him.
00:16:01.980 Now, while Jeff is still tired, his skin tone is smooth, and even his skin is less puffy, which is what's important anyway.
00:16:09.860 Don't walk around looking like a zombie.
00:16:11.560 Visit GenuCell.com slash Walsh to save over 70% off their most popular package.

00:16:25.840 Speaking of campuses, by the way, in a couple weeks I'll be speaking at the University of Iowa and left us on campus very upset, yada, yada, familiar story.
00:16:36.320 But actually there's some personal news that has come out of this planned event, and I didn't want this to be the way that all of you find out.
00:16:51.000 You know, I wish this is not how I planned it, but I have been outed by the Gazette newspaper in Cedar Rapids.
00:16:59.280 They ran an article about the controversy, and here's the headline.
00:17:03.560 The headline is, University of Iowa to host conservative transgender commentator Matt Walsh.
00:17:10.820 That's the headline.
00:17:12.720 Conservative transgender commentator Matt Walsh.
00:17:16.020 So, there it is.
00:17:19.640 Now you know.
00:17:21.560 And I think the funny thing is that I can assume they meant transgender commentator in the sense that I commentate on transgenderism.
00:17:30.080 It's like if you say a football commentator is someone who commentates on football.
00:17:33.600 But they phrased it this way because I can assume they thought that I'd be embarrassed or annoyed.
00:17:41.560 It'd be a way of like, it's like a little subtle, not so subtle dig at me.
00:17:45.700 But if they thought it would have that effect, that only shows that they really don't know me at all because this is fantastic.
00:17:53.740 So, I'm transgender commentator.
00:17:55.520 That means I'm above criticism.
00:17:57.820 Okay, I've got all the victim points I need, and now I'm just waiting for all the endorsement deals to roll in.
00:18:07.560 Okay, where's my Bud Light can?
00:18:10.580 This is my day one of womanhood, apparently.
00:18:14.040 So, I guess, you know, for Dylan Mulvaney, it took him a couple of weeks before the endorsements really started coming in.
00:18:21.000 But I've got dollar signs in the eyes now.
00:18:25.140 This is great news.
00:18:27.820 Also means that when I go to University of Iowa to give my speech, anyone that comes in protest, that it now becomes transphobia.
00:18:36.980 Which, honestly, it already would have been because even after I was dubbed transgender commentator, I was already, as you know, the world's leading, foremost, most respected and celebrated LGBTQ plus children's author.
00:18:51.560 So, now I'm adding transgender commentator to it.
00:18:53.300 It's just, it's gay erasure, homophobia, and transphobia to protest me now.
00:18:59.780 All right, here's some more good news.
00:19:05.220 Reading now from Breitbart, it says,
00:19:06.480 The Tennessee House of Representatives expelled two Democrat members on Thursday, days after those members allegedly broke House rules via their participation in gun control protests.
00:19:16.960 Breitbart News reported that three Democrat representatives were considered for expulsion.
00:19:20.080 Those were representatives Justin Jones, Justin Pearson, and Gloria Johnson.
00:19:23.680 Of the three, only Johnson was spared expulsion.
00:19:26.880 And Johnson apparently was spared expulsion by, from what I understand, one vote.
00:19:35.280 So, Gloria Johnson was spared.
00:19:40.000 From what I read, one Republican didn't go along with it, all the rest.
00:19:44.820 But, Representative Justin Jones was the first House member to be expelled Thursday, and Representative Pearson was the second.
00:19:51.900 Days ago, on April 3rd, Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton explained that the votes were not about peaceful protests.
00:19:57.800 Rather, he suggested the actions allegedly undertaken by Jones, Johnson, and Pearson broke several rules of decorum and procedure on the House floor.
00:20:04.520 The Tennessean reported that Johnson, Jones, and Pearson allegedly used a bullhorn as they led protesters in the galleries in several chants calling for gun reform.
00:20:13.540 Now, this Breitbart article keeps calling it a protest.
00:20:19.380 It was not a protest.
00:20:20.580 It was, by the left's own definition, and by their rules, it was an insurrection.
00:20:25.740 By their standards, it was an insurrection.
00:20:27.700 So, being expelled from the House should be the least of their concerns.
00:20:32.320 The next thing that should happen is that these people should be thrown into a prison cell for at least three or four years.
00:20:38.520 Because, by the left's definition, it was an insurrection.
00:20:40.800 They led a mob into the Capitol building.
00:20:43.620 They were using bullhorns on the House floor.
00:20:46.640 They led demonstrations on the House floor.
00:20:48.320 This was an insurrection by the left's own standards.
00:20:51.060 But even without the left's standards on this, right, it's also a violation of the rules of the State House.
00:20:56.940 The Tennessee Constitution gives the House the power to expel members for disorderly behavior.
00:21:01.740 They have that constitutional authority to do so.
00:21:05.320 And this certainly qualifies.
00:21:07.300 Okay?
00:21:07.800 If this is not disorderly behavior, leading a mob into the Capitol building with bullhorns?
00:21:13.140 I mean, if that doesn't qualify as disorderly and disruptive behavior, then what the hell possibly could?
00:21:17.620 So, the double standard of hypocrisy with the way that January 6th was handled, that's good enough reason to expel these people and hold them accountable.
00:21:28.920 But without that, we still have the Tennessee Constitution, which gives the authority to enact these kinds of penalties.
00:21:40.180 They violated the rules.
00:21:41.640 They behaved disgracefully and disruptively.
00:21:43.800 They tried to turn a legislative session.
00:21:45.680 At best, they tried to turn it into a personal political demonstration for their own benefit.
00:21:55.180 That's at best.
00:21:56.300 At worst, again, insurrection.
00:21:58.440 They were trying to overthrow democracy.
00:22:01.660 And now their butts are kicked to the curb because of it.
00:22:04.260 And I say good riddance and great job to the Republicans.
00:22:09.300 Of course, the media and the left, the Democrats, I repeat myself, are treating these people as martyrs.
00:22:15.680 And there's many examples.
00:22:17.480 I mean, every prominent Democrat, Barack Obama came out and all the White House and AOC, they all issued statements saying this is a dark day.
00:22:26.300 It's a dark day in our democracy.
00:22:28.320 And as we've seen, a dark day in our democracy is when anything at all happens that Democrats don't like.
00:22:37.360 Anything that happens that they don't like, it is a dark day in our democracy, potentially the worst day, 9-11 all over again.
00:22:42.980 And they didn't like this.
00:22:45.660 They didn't like it because the rules were actually being applied to them.
00:22:48.380 They were being held to account for a change.
00:22:50.560 It almost never happens.
00:22:52.220 And these Democrats in the Tennessee legislature, they assumed, right?
00:22:57.100 And you can't blame them for assuming.
00:22:59.400 They assumed that they could do this and get away with it because they're Democrats and they can do whatever they want.
00:23:04.240 Now they're trying to make themselves into martyrs.
00:23:09.800 The legislators themselves, former legislators, I should say, certainly see themselves as martyrs.
00:23:14.980 Here's a former Representative Pearson on the House floor.
00:23:19.100 Friday, the government decided that my Savior Jesus, a man that was innocent of all crimes except fighting for the poor, fighting for the marginalized, fighting for the LGBTQ community, fighting for those who are single mothers, fighting for those who are ostracized, fighting for those pushed to the periphery.
00:23:39.580 My Savior, my Savior, my black Jesus, he was lynched by the government on Friday.
00:23:46.540 And they thought that all hope had been lost.
00:23:51.820 Oh, the outside, it rained and it thundered and everybody said everything was over and it was some black women who stood at the cross.
00:24:01.180 It was some black women who watched what the government did to that boy named Jesus.
00:24:07.380 They were witnesses as you have been witnesses to what is happening in the anti-democratic state of Tennessee.
00:24:13.240 They were witnesses to what was going on.
00:24:16.120 And I got to tell you, it got quiet on Saturday.
00:24:19.360 Yes, I tell you, it was a sad day on Saturday.
00:24:23.340 All hope seemed to be lost.
00:24:26.100 Representatives were thrown out of the statehouse.
00:24:28.640 Democracy seemed to be at its end.
00:24:31.660 Seemed like the NRA and gun lobbyists might win.
00:24:36.020 But all that was good news for us.
00:24:39.000 I don't know how long this...
00:24:40.580 Turn that off.
00:24:41.140 Turn it...
00:24:41.980 This guy, he literally thinks he's Martin Luther King Jr.
00:24:44.560 He's comparing himself to Jesus.
00:24:46.960 He is Jesus Christ.
00:24:49.440 We didn't get to the end.
00:24:50.460 Was he about to...
00:24:51.860 Because Jesus resurrected on the third day.
00:24:54.420 So I guess he was...
00:24:55.760 So we can expect his...
00:24:59.520 Pearson's resurrection as well.
00:25:01.420 He's going to be resurrected.
00:25:03.780 Comparing himself to Jesus because he led a mob into the Capitol building.
00:25:09.700 Which violates every possible rule of behavior in the quorum.
00:25:14.880 And he's being punished for it.
00:25:17.760 I'm just like Jesus.
00:25:20.420 These people are such clowns.
00:25:22.880 Okay?
00:25:23.660 And that's how they should be treated.
00:25:27.580 Just laugh at these clowns.
00:25:29.460 And what I appreciate with what the Republicans did here.
00:25:34.860 Holding them to their own standards.
00:25:37.000 Or to any...
00:25:37.840 Just...
00:25:38.340 You know what?
00:25:38.820 Holding them to any standard at all.
00:25:41.160 Like there's actually a standard of behavior.
00:25:43.020 We're going to hold you people to.
00:25:44.560 And you can cry about it.
00:25:45.920 You can say, it's racism.
00:25:47.520 Shut the hell up.
00:25:48.580 We don't care.
00:25:49.360 Say whatever you want about it.
00:25:50.840 Just get the hell out of this building.
00:25:52.160 And they went through with it.
00:25:58.060 And they, you know, historically, Republicans, they would never do this.
00:26:03.600 They would never do it.
00:26:04.500 And they would never do it because they would, you know, we'd get all the concern.
00:26:08.460 Well, if we do this, then they'll do it to us.
00:26:10.380 And this is...
00:26:11.600 We have to think about the norms.
00:26:13.140 We have to defend the norms.
00:26:15.460 And I think, I know, I think the Republicans in Tennessee realized that the norms are already
00:26:23.720 out the window.
00:26:25.220 And also, you're actually defending the norms here.
00:26:27.380 Because it is in defense of the norms and basic, a sense of decorum, to kick people out
00:26:32.880 when they lead mobs in with bullhorns.
00:26:35.160 But all that's out the window anyway.
00:26:38.500 And the Democrats are already going to do everything they can to punish you and silence you.
00:26:44.420 So that's already going to happen.
00:26:48.400 The only question is whether this is going to be entirely one-sided.
00:26:52.740 You know, you've got Democrats
00:26:54.400 mourning the persecution of these Tennessee state legislatures on the same week
00:27:04.940 when the former president of the United States was arrested and arraigned on charges that don't exist.
00:27:12.040 So they are currently in the process of trying to throw their top political rival in prison.
00:27:19.500 And yet, this is supposed to be a dark day of democracy.
00:27:25.540 This is one of the few bright days in our democratic system that I've seen quite some time, actually.
00:27:32.940 All right.
00:27:35.440 I wanted to read this to you as well.
00:27:39.400 Caitlyn Jenner slammed Nike for turning woke Thursday over its partnership with trans TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney
00:27:46.160 seven years after her own, her quote, I'm reading from the article, this is the language they're using.
00:27:52.980 Seven years after her, his own collaboration as a trans woman with a sportswear line.
00:27:58.560 Jenner, who transitioned in 2015, called out the athletic wear company after Mulvaney unveiled the brand deal
00:28:03.840 in a series of Instagram posts Wednesday where she modeled, he modeled Nike pants in a sports brawl.
00:28:10.000 Alert the media.
00:28:10.600 I'm entering my workout area.
00:28:11.580 We saw Jenner, who was recently named a Fox News contributor, called the brand partnership an outrage.
00:28:15.580 As someone that grew up in awe of what Phil Knight did, it's a shame to see such an iconic American company go so woke.
00:28:23.040 We can be inclusive, but not at the expense of the mass majority of people and have some decency while being inclusive.
00:28:31.040 This is an outrage.
00:28:33.940 Jenner did not explain how Nike partnering with Mulvaney harmed the mass majority of people, but tweeted,
00:28:37.820 stop trying to erase women, in all caps.
00:28:39.700 You know, as I've said before with this, there were conservatives that were sharing these tweets from Jenner.
00:28:48.080 It's like, hey man, yes, look, we have a trans person on our side.
00:28:53.060 Jenner's position on this topic is totally incoherent, okay?
00:28:57.720 He is the worst possible advocate that you could turn to.
00:29:02.740 He's the worst voice that you could amplify on this.
00:29:06.800 Like, what exactly is your complaint, Jenner, with Nike doing a brand partnership with Dylan Mulvaney?
00:29:16.360 What's your complaint?
00:29:18.260 How is it going woke?
00:29:20.440 The only complaint you could possibly have is that Dylan Mulvaney is not actually a woman,
00:29:25.960 and they're celebrating him as if he is, and they're also having him model women's clothing when he's not actually a woman.
00:29:32.460 That's the complaint.
00:29:33.500 That's the only reason to oppose it.
00:29:34.940 There's no other reason.
00:29:36.800 If Dylan Mulvaney was a man who identified as a man,
00:29:42.160 I mean, then it'd be a little bit strange that they're Nike sponsoring some random TikTok influencer.
00:29:48.420 But it would not be an outrage.
00:29:50.840 It wouldn't be erasing women.
00:29:53.040 So the only reason to oppose it is that he's not actually a woman.
00:29:57.240 And yet, that's not Jenner's position.
00:30:02.880 Jenner believes that trans women are women.
00:30:04.900 Jenner says that he's a woman.
00:30:07.740 So it doesn't make any sense.
00:30:09.780 It appears that Caitlyn Jenner's position is that his womanhood is valid because he says it is.
00:30:20.600 But other people, if they declare themselves a woman, that's not valid.
00:30:24.340 No, there's only two ways of looking at this.
00:30:29.320 Either biology determines who's a woman or who isn't, or it's subjective and it's up to each individual.
00:30:34.920 If Caitlyn Jenner sees himself as a woman and is declaring that he's a woman, well, then he is taking the latter option here.
00:30:44.820 He's saying that it's subjective.
00:30:46.040 Which means that you can't arbitrarily say that it doesn't apply to Dylan Mulvaney.
00:30:52.280 It's totally incoherent.
00:30:56.140 And also, look, Jenner, there's arguably no other trans-identified person alive today who has done more to normalize and mainstream transgenderism.
00:31:11.940 I don't think there's anyone else you can point to who's done as much as Jenner has done.
00:31:18.660 Because most of the rest of these Dylan Mulvaney, most of the rest of the prominent trans-identified people and influencers you can name, they came along later.
00:31:26.880 They jumped on a bandwagon that was already well on its way.
00:31:30.340 But how soon we forget, back in whatever it was, 2015, Jenner, Bruce Jenner, comes out as Caitlyn, declares himself a woman, is awarded Woman of the Year.
00:31:45.920 And that was the first time that had been seen on such a mainstream, visible level.
00:31:52.300 It wasn't the beginning of trans ideology, of gender ideology.
00:31:58.460 But that is when it kind of burst into the mainstream.
00:32:05.920 Jenner has never repudiated that, as far as I'm aware.
00:32:09.300 He's never repudiated for that.
00:32:10.260 He's never apologized for that.
00:32:13.140 He's never come out and said, you know what?
00:32:14.380 I shouldn't have been awarded Woman of the Year.
00:32:15.980 I'm not actually a woman.
00:32:17.780 That shouldn't have happened.
00:32:19.340 He's never done that.
00:32:20.200 He still wants to be seen as a woman, but he's going to decide arbitrarily which other trans-identified people get to be in the club.
00:32:30.420 And then you have these dumb conservatives who think that because he identifies as trans, it automatically makes him a powerful advocate.
00:32:43.540 You see, we have a trans person on our side.
00:32:47.660 We're not transphobes.
00:32:48.720 You're the real transphobes.
00:32:50.200 I still think that method, that that strategy works.
00:32:53.400 It doesn't.
00:32:55.060 All right.
00:32:56.660 Daily Wire report.
00:32:58.660 The Arctic Institute issued a call for researchers to submit papers for a series examining heteronormativity in the far northern portion of the planet.
00:33:08.260 The nonprofit think tank, which exists to develop economic, military, and health security policy for the Arctic,
00:33:13.160 asserted that queerness and indigenous identities in the region have often been diminished.
00:33:18.020 Analysts are therefore assembling a series of papers called Queering the Arctic to examine the role of queerness among native populations.
00:33:26.940 The group said in a press release, how are queer people in the Arctic challenging well-established systems of heteronormativity?
00:33:34.400 To what extent are they suffering from societal, cultural, or structural shortcomings, and how are they using their resources to overcome them?
00:33:41.820 With these pointed questions, we want to challenge deficiency-oriented, ethnocentric, and neoliberal approaches and invite authors to create a space to identify hope spots from indigenous and queer feminist perspectives, may it be artistic, academic, analytical, or narrative.
00:33:57.700 Now, we know that the left, they are on this cultural, colonialist, you know, mission to paint the entire globe in rainbow colors,
00:34:14.580 to bring the good news of the gospel of wokeness and of LGBT idolatry, to bring it to every corner of the earth, and now they want to bring it all the way up to the Arctic.
00:34:24.060 Because as we've seen on the left, nothing is allowed to just be what it is.
00:34:32.180 Nothing is allowed to exist for its own sake.
00:34:36.120 Everything must be brought into conformity under the leftist ideological umbrella.
00:34:44.100 Everything, no matter what it is, everything's primary use, primary purpose should be the spreading of leftism.
00:34:55.060 All right, another story here, Daily Wire.
00:34:57.840 The Mandalorian recently surprised fans with two cameo guest appearances, Lizzo and Jack Black.
00:35:03.560 The two actors were featured in Wednesday's episode, Chapter 22, Guns for Hire.
00:35:08.980 And so, Lizzo and Jack Black appeared on the Disney Star Wars show.
00:35:13.360 The clip of this episode, this scene with Lizzo, went viral.
00:35:17.900 Not for the reasons that Disney probably hoped, but let's just watch a little bit of this.
00:35:21.980 Despicable.
00:35:23.980 If that isn't the Quactor calling the Stifling Slimy.
00:35:29.140 I beg your pardon.
00:35:30.760 This planet is unrecognizable since he arrived.
00:35:35.080 I had a feeling you hated me.
00:35:38.480 I'm disappointed in you, Commissioner.
00:35:40.780 You served my family well.
00:35:43.060 But Captain Bombardier is the love of my life, and I know his heart is true.
00:35:47.840 Sure, he's made some mistakes in the past, but who here among us has not?
00:35:53.320 Is there no room for a little bit of forgiveness in a galaxy so vast?
00:35:57.320 I am sorry to have disappointed you, my lady.
00:36:03.100 Perhaps someday I can earn such forgiveness from your grace.
00:36:10.480 Perhaps.
00:36:12.000 As for now, you must live in exile on the moon of Paraquat.
00:36:15.820 All right.
00:36:17.120 And as for you.
00:36:18.660 Who's watching this show?
00:36:19.620 Lady Bo-Katan Creed.
00:36:20.620 Who's watching this?
00:36:22.480 I saw this clip, and I had to double check because I honestly first thought it was a movie.
00:36:27.300 It was a skit.
00:36:27.700 I thought it was like an SNL skit or something.
00:36:29.720 And then I verified, no, that's actually the show.
00:36:32.640 Like, that's the show.
00:36:33.640 That's what Disney is putting out.
00:36:35.660 It has the cinematic quality of a furniture store commercial.
00:36:39.300 Like, the guy who made the ad for Bill's Mattress Warehouse down the street from your house
00:36:44.000 is a more skilled director and cinematographer than whoever's responsible for this utter dreck.
00:36:49.920 And the actors in mattress commercials and car dealership commercials are better also than what you just saw there.
00:36:55.780 But this is what we get, okay?
00:36:58.820 This is what we get for mindlessly handing our money over to these studios who have been milking the same franchises for decades
00:37:06.260 and just putting the same thing out over and over and over again.
00:37:09.700 They aren't even trying anymore.
00:37:11.300 They don't care.
00:37:12.880 They hate.
00:37:13.840 We already know that these studios hate you.
00:37:16.820 They don't respect your intelligence.
00:37:18.520 They think you're an idiot and will gobble up whatever they spew out.
00:37:26.120 They know you're going to watch anyway because of the brand.
00:37:29.680 That's all it is.
00:37:31.380 And at this point, instead of watching the next Star Wars movie or show,
00:37:36.200 you might as well sit for two hours in your living room staring at the Star Wars logo on your screen.
00:37:42.760 You know, there's no point in watching the actual, because there's no story anymore.
00:37:47.220 That doesn't matter.
00:37:48.660 All of that is secondary.
00:37:51.220 It's simply about the brand.
00:37:52.800 You're watching a brand.
00:37:54.480 And when you watch these shows and these films now, you're basking in the light and glory of a brand.
00:38:00.660 And so you might as well.
00:38:01.680 There's no reason to just, that's what Disney should do.
00:38:05.460 The next Star Wars movie should be two and a half hours of the Star Wars logo on the screen.
00:38:11.940 Or maybe some guy, or maybe Lizzo, sitting on screen and just saying Star Wars over and over again.
00:38:19.900 As a story, okay, and I've been trying to tell you this forever.
00:38:24.140 As a story, Star Wars is over.
00:38:27.340 As a brand, it's not.
00:38:29.240 Because there are still these drones who will show up no matter what.
00:38:35.460 But as a story, it's over.
00:38:37.280 There's nothing left.
00:38:39.660 Okay?
00:38:40.280 It's, it, we got every, every ounce of story that could be milked out of this premise.
00:38:46.620 It's gone now.
00:38:48.120 All right?
00:38:48.840 The udder is, is dry.
00:38:50.780 It's all been milked.
00:38:52.940 This cow is spent a long time ago.
00:38:55.880 And of course, you know, people will say, well, the Star Wars, it's the Star Wars universe.
00:39:03.920 There's so many other stories we could tell in the Star Wars universe.
00:39:07.920 Well, as I am always saying, no, the Star, the Star Wars universe is over.
00:39:13.380 But the actual universe?
00:39:15.580 Yeah, the actual universe is limitless.
00:39:17.560 There are a lot of stories you could tell in the universe.
00:39:20.300 It doesn't have to be in the Star Wars universe.
00:39:23.820 But don't let that stop you.
00:39:27.420 These companies, they hate you, have no respect for you.
00:39:30.400 They're not even trying to make quality content.
00:39:32.960 But go ahead and keep consuming it, I guess.
00:39:35.460 Why not?
00:39:35.880 And finally, major headline here, Babylon Bee, Matt Walsh jumps out of the bushes at Easter
00:39:43.240 egg hunt to inform the kids that bunnies laying eggs is biologically impossible.
00:39:49.260 Now, I appreciated this story.
00:39:51.580 This is like, I think it's the fifth or sixth time I've been mocked ruthlessly by Babylon
00:39:57.500 Bee, which hurts my feelings deeply, of course, but I also appreciate it.
00:40:03.100 But then my second question was, who tells their kids that the Easter bunny lays the eggs?
00:40:11.240 Is that what people are being told?
00:40:15.000 I never, now, yeah, this is, I didn't know, here's the thing, I didn't know that this was
00:40:20.140 the kind of falsehood I needed to correct.
00:40:22.940 So that's the only thing that this story gets wrong, is that I wouldn't be going up to kids
00:40:26.980 and say, well, you know, Easter bunny doesn't lay eggs, because I never knew that, really,
00:40:30.440 that's what you're telling?
00:40:31.500 Is that what parents are telling kids?
00:40:33.100 That the Easter bunny actually lays the eggs like a chicken?
00:40:37.520 The Easter bunny thing has always been, you know, as you know, I'm a Santa Claus apologist.
00:40:43.200 You know, I'm fully on board with the Santa Claus thing.
00:40:47.480 Easter bunny's always been a little too weird, a little too disturbing.
00:40:52.280 Even when I was a kid, I always thought that.
00:40:55.380 I was kind of like, my parents told me about this big giant bunny that shows up and, you
00:41:01.260 know, leaves a basket somewhere, comes into the house and leaves, and I always had so
00:41:06.960 many questions about this thing.
00:41:08.240 Where does this thing come from?
00:41:09.240 We don't have the same, with, with, with Santa Claus, there's this whole, whole mythology
00:41:14.640 around it.
00:41:14.960 We don't have that with the Easter bunny.
00:41:15.800 So I've always thought it was kind of strange.
00:41:17.380 I didn't know that the kids were also being told that this mutant sorcerer Easter bunny
00:41:24.120 lays eggs.
00:41:25.500 I always, when I was a kid, I always thought that the Easter bunny, he has the eggs and
00:41:30.180 it's like in a basket and he hides them places.
00:41:32.940 This story is getting even more disturbing than I thought.
00:41:38.480 Let's get to our comment section.
00:41:53.820 Scott says, would you rather only drink Bud Light or Miller Light for the rest of your
00:41:58.260 life?
00:41:59.120 It's an impossible choice.
00:42:00.360 They're exactly the same beverage.
00:42:01.680 I don't think that there's any.
00:42:02.440 I mean, there, there are some people who try to, uh, claim that there's a difference.
00:42:07.520 They, they pretend that their palate is discerning enough to tell the difference between Bud Light
00:42:11.580 and Miller Light.
00:42:12.060 It's all, it's all exactly the same.
00:42:13.160 It's all, it's all the same, uh, slop.
00:42:18.040 Mark Douglas says, we need a wokeness index that ranks corporations on how much woke ideology
00:42:22.660 they push.
00:42:23.340 Then consumers can make their choices.
00:42:26.080 That'd be a nice resource to have, but you have, you know, the thing is you need some force
00:42:30.880 behind it.
00:42:31.380 You know, you need some like enforcement mechanisms.
00:42:34.640 Otherwise it doesn't matter.
00:42:36.460 So the, on the left, they have organizations like the human rights campaign and others that
00:42:44.360 have their own index, their corporate equality index, um, to, to distinguish which corporations
00:42:51.940 are being the most faithful to a leftist worth, orthodoxy.
00:42:55.900 But then there's also, there it's, it, there's some bite to it.
00:43:01.020 Like they're going to try to punish you and they're very well funded and they're going
00:43:05.560 to try to punish these corporations who, um, fall short.
00:43:09.360 The problem that we have, like we talked about yesterday on the right is that we can, you
00:43:15.800 know, we can spend all day long talking about, well, this company is woke, that company's
00:43:20.300 woke, but we don't give them any reason to care, right?
00:43:24.360 You have to give the companies, the corporations, some reason to care about the fact that you're
00:43:29.520 calling them woke and that you're condemning them.
00:43:31.500 Um, there has to be some, you know, it can't just be bark and there has to be some bite
00:43:36.980 to it.
00:43:38.860 Um, another one says, I live in a rural remote area where Bush and Bud are king.
00:43:44.620 My husband does two multiple 30 packs per week and he's pretty average around here.
00:43:49.760 He's done not with beer, but with, um, AB and Jack.
00:43:54.580 We'll make our own if we have to two 30 packs.
00:43:57.500 That's like, so like eight beers a day, that's how much sparkling water I drink in a day.
00:44:04.320 I'd probably go through about eight, which is maybe the least manly thing I've ever said,
00:44:08.380 but I think there are a lot, you know, right.
00:44:09.920 And I I've heard this a lot.
00:44:11.100 I don't know about two 30 packs a week thing, but for this from a lot of people that, um,
00:44:15.480 you know, my dad, all he does is drink a Bud Light and Budweiser and yes.
00:44:20.520 So the, if we decided to make a concerted effort to single out, if we said, okay, Bud Light
00:44:29.240 and Heiser Bush, we're going to single them out a lot of wool companies, but this is the
00:44:34.660 one that we're focusing on.
00:44:36.020 And if we decided to do that, we could really inflict some financial damage because as much
00:44:42.400 as we joke about the fact that, you know, only, only boomers and, uh, only like right
00:44:48.500 wing boomers and frat boys drink Bud Light.
00:44:51.300 It's, it's basically true.
00:44:53.080 It's, that's, that's for the most part the case.
00:44:56.040 So if we can mobilize people in those groups, particularly the right wing boomers, um, then
00:45:03.520 it would really, it would, it would do some real damage.
00:45:05.660 And at least it would put the company in a position where they've really got a choice
00:45:11.280 to make.
00:45:12.120 So right now there's no choice at all.
00:45:14.200 They say, who, who, who do I want to piss off?
00:45:15.980 Do I want to piss off the left or the right?
00:45:17.720 For corporate America, it's I'll piss off the right all day because nothing's going to
00:45:20.500 happen.
00:45:22.900 Now, if they know there's going to actually be a consequence to it, then, uh, now they've,
00:45:26.880 now they really have a choice to make.
00:45:30.360 Striving to be Galahad says, I'm a fellow traveler with Matt on so many issues, but we part
00:45:34.620 radically on the subject of animals and, uh, ecology, the meaning of dominion in scripture
00:45:39.720 known to every theologian and saint for centuries is stewardship, not domination.
00:45:45.100 Um, it is right and good to care for nature and especially for animals.
00:45:51.420 Yeah, I don't, I don't disagree with you.
00:45:53.080 I don't think I said anything that disagrees with that.
00:45:54.860 Uh, but we do have stewardship is fine, but we are the superior species on the planet.
00:46:03.260 Um, and so we can make use of the inferior species, which should not be a controversial
00:46:12.820 statement.
00:46:13.580 This is, this is how the humans, this is how we exist.
00:46:16.620 If we didn't do that, if we didn't do that at all, we said we have no right to put ourselves
00:46:21.560 above, you know, animal life.
00:46:23.540 We have no right to do that.
00:46:24.900 We have no right to utilize them in any way.
00:46:27.180 Then to begin with billions of people starve in like a week because there are billions.
00:46:34.640 If you, if you take, if you take a meat out of it, yeah, it's might be if you're, if you're
00:46:38.740 very, if you're, you live in a well-off prosperous, relatively prosperous civilization in the Western
00:46:45.760 world, um, you can, you can get away with the vegan lifestyle.
00:46:51.140 You know, you can, you can, but that is, that is a product of privilege.
00:46:57.760 Many parts of the world that's, that doesn't, it's impossible.
00:47:02.400 You know, when we went to Africa and went to Kenya with the Maasai tribe, they, they live,
00:47:08.640 they have cattle, you know, they have cows and they have goats and there's not a lot of
00:47:12.780 agriculture.
00:47:13.760 Um, there's, there's not a lot of farming that goes on.
00:47:15.900 They have cows and goats and that's how they live.
00:47:17.620 And if, if not for that, they'd all die like right away.
00:47:24.340 So it's clear based on that alone that we have, we're the superior species on the planet.
00:47:28.640 We have the right to make use of these animals while at the same time respecting God's creation.
00:47:36.080 It's no different than, uh, we have every right to cut down trees, like all the beautiful
00:47:40.740 trees you can see outside of my, uh, the studio windows with right to cut down trees, build a
00:47:45.400 house.
00:47:45.700 But it doesn't mean that we should be gratuitous or wasteful about it.
00:47:49.240 It's like cutting down trees for no reason.
00:47:51.480 We should try to preserve nature as well.
00:47:53.340 So there's a balance there, but, uh, that's what it is, a balance.
00:47:57.000 We're coming up on almost one year since I released the groundbreaking documentary,
00:48:00.620 What is a Woman?
00:48:01.400 Exposing radical gender ideology for what it's worth.
00:48:03.540 And you'd think that this would be ample enough time for people to come up with an actual
00:48:06.440 answer to the question, but you'd be wrong.
00:48:08.200 As I discovered at the Young America Foundation Q&A in New Mexico just two nights ago, their
00:48:11.820 answers are still somehow as confusing and nonsensical as they ever were.
00:48:15.700 After my speech, multiple critics of mine and critics of reality as well stepped up to the
00:48:19.500 mic in an attempt to challenge my position.
00:48:22.080 They cited the usual gender as a social construct thing and other long-winded nonsense.
00:48:26.260 When talking to one self-identified trans woman, uh, a biological male, that is, I asked a simple,
00:48:31.580 very predictable question.
00:48:32.960 You'd think that I have an answer for her by now.
00:48:34.920 Uh, what is a woman?
00:48:35.860 And here's what the person said.
00:48:37.180 A woman is someone who is included and respected and seen and participates in society recognized
00:48:42.600 by other women.
00:48:44.140 That's the answer, which is just a long way of saying a woman is someone who identifies
00:48:47.500 as a woman.
00:48:48.000 Although this answer is even worse because actually not only are you, uh, is it circular,
00:48:51.680 but you're also relying on, um, the, the affirmation of, of other people.
00:48:57.200 It's an external definition, um, which is exactly what they usually say they don't want
00:49:02.680 to do, right?
00:49:03.840 Well, if you haven't yet seen what is a woman, or if you're on the left and still somehow
00:49:07.000 find yourself confused about basic biology, I have some good news for you.

00:49:35.960 Today for our daily cancellation, I have the exciting opportunity to jump back up onto one
00:49:39.720 of my favorite soap boxes, uh, as a new study published this week finds that ADHD is rising
00:49:45.060 rapidly in our country, especially among women.
00:49:47.200 The New York post has this report.
00:49:48.660 The number of people are diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
00:49:51.840 ADHD is climbing steadily in the U S, especially among women, a new study found while cases
00:49:56.560 have risen across all age groups.
00:49:58.000 The spike has been most significant among women.
00:49:59.780 The share of females between the ages of 23 and 49 years of age diagnosed with the disorder
00:50:04.260 nearly doubled from 2020 to 2022 since 2010, the rates of ADHD have tripled overall.
00:50:09.940 The study found, but the share of patients taking prescribed medications for the disorder
00:50:13.120 has remained consistent.
00:50:15.060 Males have historically been more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD, but the study finds, uh,
00:50:20.220 findings indicate that the gender gap has been closing over the past 12 years.
00:50:25.820 Needless to say, this is an incredible milestone in the fight for social justice.
00:50:28.800 Women have smashed through yet another glass ceiling.
00:50:32.040 It's about time.
00:50:32.740 If you ask me alleged mental illnesses should be shared and enjoyed equitably and fairly by
00:50:37.900 both sexes.
00:50:38.700 I believe that that's what's best for society.
00:50:40.500 And also most importantly, it's what's best for big pharma.
00:50:43.060 You know, drug companies, they should have the right to monetize the mental states of both
00:50:47.500 men and women in equal measure.
00:50:49.560 I say the post continues.
00:50:51.840 Previous studies have shown that females with ADHD tend to have very different symptoms than
00:50:56.140 males, which could prevent them from getting evaluated and diagnosed data for ADHD tends
00:51:00.920 to skew heavily towards school age males.
00:51:02.680 Dr. Joseph Galasso, a psychologist at Baker street behavioral health in New Jersey told Fox
00:51:07.560 news digital in a phone interview, he was not involved in the new study.
00:51:10.580 Girls tend to fly under the radar as their symptoms tend to be internalized.
00:51:13.800 Boys tend to be more active with overt behaviors that lead to early diagnoses.
00:51:18.660 On the other hand, he said, girls tend to fly under the radar as their symptoms tend to
00:51:22.380 be internalized.
00:51:23.620 Instead of hyperactivity, ADHD can look more like depression or anxiety in females, he added.
00:51:27.640 More than 8 million American adults are thought to have ADHD, but some studies have shown that
00:51:31.640 up to 80% of them are unaware that they have the disorder per WebMD.
00:51:37.080 Well, that's no good.
00:51:38.620 80% of people with ADHD don't know they haven't.
00:51:41.120 But think of all the people who are suffering in silence because of that.
00:51:44.280 And by that, I mean all of the pharmaceutical executives who have been deprived of the opportunity
00:51:48.240 to sell drugs to that large portion of the potential market.
00:51:51.980 Really must be hard for them.
00:51:53.860 But it's not just adults who are seeing a rise in ADHD.
00:51:56.640 Obviously, the disorder, quote unquote, is, of course, especially prevalent among children.
00:52:01.520 In the 1980s, back when ADHD or ADD at the time was first added to the DSM, the Diagnostic
00:52:07.400 and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, was added in, I think, 1980.
00:52:11.460 And during that decade, around 1 in 20 children were diagnosed.
00:52:16.440 Today, that number is 1 in 9 and rising all the time.
00:52:20.900 That means that more than 10% of all children in the country have been labeled with this
00:52:25.180 alleged disorder.
00:52:26.340 And the label's being stuck on kids at earlier and earlier ages.
00:52:29.180 You know, we're now told that kids as young as 3 years old can be diagnosed ADHD.
00:52:32.400 A decade ago, the American Academy of Pediatrics changed the medical guidelines to now recommend
00:52:37.520 psychiatric drugs for kids starting at 4, potentially, if their symptoms are, quote,
00:52:43.020 debilitating.
00:52:44.240 A third of kids with ADHD are diagnosed before the age of 6.
00:52:48.420 So, kindergartners are being diagnosed and drugged.
00:52:51.640 Teenagers are being diagnosed and drugged.
00:52:53.500 Adults are being diagnosed and drugged.
00:52:55.800 This epidemic has been sweeping the nation for decades and has only gotten exponentially worse
00:52:59.920 as time goes on.
00:53:00.820 More and more people are labeled mentally ill and put on methamphetamines.
00:53:05.180 We increasingly become a nation of drug addicts.
00:53:07.600 The pharmaceutical companies rake in billions and billions of dollars.
00:53:10.820 Yet, we rarely stop to talk about any of this, really, or even ask the most basic questions
00:53:19.900 about it.
00:53:20.980 The psychiatric industry and the pharmaceutical industry have conspired to label entire
00:53:26.560 categories of human behavior and human thought disordered.
00:53:31.240 And they've assured us that the only way to fix the problem is through highly potent
00:53:34.780 and addictive psychotropic drugs.
00:53:37.480 Meanwhile, most of us who profess to have no faith in the pharmaceutical industry, we correctly
00:53:43.280 observe that it's a multi-billion dollar behemoth with a vested financial interest in keeping
00:53:47.800 us in this drugged-out stupor.
00:53:49.520 We know from our experience with COVID that these people will lie directly to our faces
00:53:53.660 just to get us to put their product into our bodies.
00:53:57.740 We realize all of that.
00:54:00.060 And yet, most of us still refuse to fundamentally question the basic premise behind concepts like
00:54:06.820 ADHD and other alleged mental illnesses.
00:54:08.900 So, we might agree that it's over-diagnosed, but we're not willing to question the logic
00:54:14.480 underlying the diagnosis.
00:54:17.480 In fact, many people, again, many of whom otherwise have no faith in Big Pharma or claim
00:54:21.480 that they don't, will lash out angrily at those of us who do question Big Pharma's fundamental
00:54:27.420 claims about ADHD and similar alleged mental illnesses.
00:54:30.860 We are, in other words, a culture with no faith in Big Pharma, and yet also with unquestioned faith
00:54:38.340 in Big Pharma.
00:54:39.720 We can't make up our minds, and Big Pharma would say that our ambivalence on the topic
00:54:43.620 is yet another symptom of ADHD.
00:54:45.540 Fortunately, they have a drug for that.
00:54:48.400 Now, let me offer, if I could, an alternative theory.
00:54:55.140 Could it be that the ADHD diagnosis is skyrocketing with no signs of slowing down?
00:55:01.300 Because the diagnosis was designed to be both incredibly vague and also universally applicable.
00:55:09.600 Now, to show you what I mean, here's a partial list of symptoms, symptoms, quote, unquote,
00:55:13.500 of ADHD in children between the ages of 3 and 12.
00:55:16.300 This is described by the Mayo Clinic.
00:55:18.220 This is how they list it.
00:55:20.480 Partial list.
00:55:22.720 Fail to pay close attention to details or make careless mistakes in schoolwork.
00:55:26.660 Have trouble staying focused in tasks or play.
00:55:28.720 Appear not to listen, even when spoken to directly.
00:55:32.180 Be easily distracted.
00:55:34.040 Fidget with or tap his or her hands or feet.
00:55:36.620 Or squirm in the seat.
00:55:38.120 Be on the go in constant motion.
00:55:40.080 Talk too much.
00:55:41.840 Have difficulty waiting for his or her turn.
00:55:44.120 Interrupt or intrude on others' conversations, games, or activities.
00:55:47.880 So, you know, what exactly is the problem with these symptoms?
00:55:51.180 Well, not much, other than the fact that they describe literally every child who's ever lived
00:55:57.060 on the planet.
00:55:58.400 I have never in my life met a child who didn't fall into all or most of those categories.
00:56:05.920 Okay?
00:56:06.140 In fact, I'd be much more concerned about a child who doesn't exhibit these traits than
00:56:09.760 a child who does.
00:56:11.840 Of course, the ADHD apologist will assure you that although the symptoms certainly do sound
00:56:16.680 like a list of the most common childhood behaviors and personality traits, it's actually
00:56:21.060 much more nuanced.
00:56:22.100 Because they'll point out that there are other diagnostic criteria.
00:56:24.540 For example, a child is only diagnosed with ADHD if he exhibits these traits in more than
00:56:29.140 one situation.
00:56:30.340 So not just at school, but at home and at school.
00:56:33.220 So if he acts like a normal child in two places, well, I mean, that's a, you know, then clearly
00:56:39.520 is ADHD.
00:56:40.460 Also, if the symptoms are persistent.
00:56:43.060 So the symptoms have to be observed for six months or more to warrant an official diagnosis.
00:56:48.500 Okay?
00:56:48.780 So if your child is fidgety and talks a lot for more than six months, ADHD.
00:56:54.540 See, these nuances, quote unquote, do not at all change the fact that the symptoms of
00:56:59.240 ADHD are merely descriptions of normal childhood characteristics.
00:57:04.240 It is normal.
00:57:05.820 And as you know, I say this as somebody with six kids.
00:57:08.460 It is normal for a child to exhibit all of these behaviors and to exhibit them for years,
00:57:14.880 let alone six months.
00:57:16.620 It is normal for a child to be this way at home, to be this way at school, to be this
00:57:21.060 way when you try to take them out to a restaurant, to be this way everywhere.
00:57:24.540 It may not be convenient for parents or teachers.
00:57:28.500 It may be a nuisance.
00:57:29.520 It may be stressful to deal with sometimes.
00:57:31.600 That doesn't make it a disease.
00:57:34.060 And this is what the ADHD diagnosis is.
00:57:36.180 It's our way of talking about and describing a set of behaviors and character traits that
00:57:42.120 we find burdensome or inconvenient.
00:57:45.000 That's what it is.
00:57:49.220 It's just our way of categorizing this set of behaviors that get in the way of other things
00:57:57.600 we're trying to do.
00:57:58.400 And you notice that for all the people that say, oh, it's a valid medical diagnosis, just
00:58:06.120 like having cancer or anything, you know, it's just like any other medical condition.
00:58:11.800 But yeah, well, what other medical condition?
00:58:14.960 What like valid physical medical condition is diagnosed this way?
00:58:18.920 What other medical condition do they diagnose by looking at your behavior exclusively?
00:58:23.740 And then also trying to determine whether or not that behavior causes problems in certain
00:58:30.100 environments.
00:58:31.900 You know, if you are concerned that your child, you know, has diabetes, they're not going to
00:58:42.180 ask you questions about whether it causes problems in home, at home or in school.
00:58:48.900 They're going to run physical tests to see if they can find it.
00:58:53.620 Oh, but you can find ADHD in brain scans, they say.
00:58:56.040 Well, that's not true.
00:58:56.760 And also, they don't do brain scans.
00:59:01.140 If it was just, well, there's an ADHD brain and a regular brain, that's like, well, why don't
00:59:05.780 they do brain scans to diagnose ADHD?
00:59:07.960 Why don't they do that?
00:59:09.680 What about ADHD in adults?
00:59:11.340 The Mayo Clinic lists these symptoms, impulsiveness, disorganization, and problems prioritizing,
00:59:15.900 poor time management skills, problems focusing on a task, trouble multitasking, excessive
00:59:21.180 activity or restlessness, poor planning, low frustration tolerance, frequent mood swings,
00:59:26.280 problems following through and completing tasks, hot temper, trouble coping with stress.
00:59:30.920 Those are the symptoms.
00:59:33.180 And these are all, indeed, difficult emotions and traits, I know from experience.
00:59:36.720 But they are also very human and very normal.
00:59:39.680 In fact, once again, it'd be a much greater concern if there was an adult who did not struggle,
00:59:44.420 at least to some degree with all of these things.
00:59:46.860 A person who never loses his temper or becomes disorganized, that's not a person, that's
00:59:50.520 a robot.
00:59:52.320 Now, the pharmaceutical companies, they'll acknowledge this point, you know, that all of
00:59:55.320 these symptoms are actually normal.
00:59:56.560 But they'll declare that past a certain point, beyond a certain threshold, they become abnormal
01:00:04.660 and diseased.
01:00:05.660 Well, who decides where that point is?
01:00:07.720 Who determines the threshold?
01:00:09.120 When they say, oh, yeah, everybody acts this way.
01:00:11.800 But if you act this way too much, well, then it's a disease.
01:00:15.380 Too much.
01:00:16.220 Who says too much?
01:00:18.040 But who decides that?
01:00:19.480 It's just like we saw a symptom for kids is talks too much.
01:00:24.420 Who the hell?
01:00:24.940 Where is the medical criteria for too much talking?
01:00:28.960 It sounds pretty subjective to me.
01:00:30.540 By my standards, 95% of the planet talks too much.
01:00:34.580 Oh, but I'm not a doctor, right?
01:00:37.620 You have to get that, you have to get that, you know, you have to go to medical school so
01:00:41.140 that you can find out how much talking people should do.
01:00:44.080 What?
01:00:45.400 Who gets to draw the line declaring exactly how stressed out, how disorganized, how anxious,
01:00:51.500 how distracted human beings are supposed to be?
01:00:55.120 Well, just so happens, the people selling the drugs, they get to make that decision.
01:00:59.140 The people prescribing the drugs, they get to make the decision.
01:01:00.840 These are arbitrary lines drawn by the very people with a massive financial incentive
01:01:05.800 to make sure that as many people as possible are over the line.
01:01:11.020 Now, am I denying that lots of people in our culture today are overly distracted?
01:01:15.740 No, not at all.
01:01:17.200 I'm simply calling the question the idea that distraction is a medical condition.
01:01:21.620 I especially call that into question given that there is another extremely obvious explanation.
01:01:27.300 Why are people so distracted these days?
01:01:31.960 Maybe it's because we live in a society filled with distraction.
01:01:36.140 We are surrounded all the time with screens and flashing lights and noise.
01:01:40.380 We carry little distraction machines in our pockets.
01:01:43.320 We have conditioned ourselves to crave constant stimulation.
01:01:46.840 Children are plopped in front of glowing screens, you know, from their first day on this earth
01:01:50.820 so that they'll be less of a hassle to parents who also want to spend more time on their screens.
01:01:54.680 Why are people constantly distracted?
01:01:57.460 I mean, is that even a question?
01:01:59.160 Is that a serious question?
01:02:00.140 How could anyone look at our society, look at the way that we choose to live our lives
01:02:03.540 and come away with the conclusion that our attention spans are dwindling
01:02:07.220 because of a mysterious mental illness epidemic?
01:02:11.460 There is a much more obvious explanation.
01:02:15.360 Okay.
01:02:15.600 And you are staring at it right now.
01:02:20.300 And that is why ADHD, as a medical diagnosis anyway, is once again today canceled.
01:02:28.560 That'll do it for this portion of the show as we move over to the members block.
