00:00:00.080 Today on the Matt Walsh Show, there has been a major push this week to promote the so-called
00:00:03.660 dink community. These are the dual income, no kids, childless by choice folks who all say that
00:00:08.820 their lifestyle is superior because it makes it so much easier to buy things. Also, the Daily Wire
00:00:13.020 files a major lawsuit in defense of free speech. Donald Trump sends the media into a frenzy after
00:00:17.520 saying that he'll be a dictator on day one of his second term. Of course, they're willfully missing
00:00:21.340 the point in what he was saying. Plus, Dylan Mulvaney draws a crowd of literally dozens for
00:00:25.580 his speech at Penn State. And Democrats embarrassed themselves during a hearing on the question of
00:00:29.320 whether boys should be allowed to participate in girls' sports. All of that and more today on the Matt Walsh Show.

00:01:47.360 taxnetworkusa.com slash Walsh today. About a year ago, we first talked about the growing community
00:01:53.680 of people who call themselves dinks. Now, dink may sound like some kind of racial slur,
00:01:59.060 but it's not. Well, I mean, it was technically. Some people used it as a pejorative term for the
00:02:03.800 Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. It's also a term familiar to my fellow bass fishermen
00:02:08.320 used to describe any game fish below 12 inches in length. But in this case, dink does not refer to
00:02:14.980 either Asians or small fish. Dink is an acronym that stands for dual income, no kids. So these are the
00:02:20.960 childless by choice folks, those who get married and could have kids, but choose instead to have a
00:02:26.700 barren, sterile relationship focused entirely on their own superficial wants and desires.
00:02:32.600 Now, the dinks are getting a lot of attention these days, especially over the past week.
00:02:36.320 On Monday, Business Insider ran a piece titled, Meet the Typical Dink. They have over $200,000 in the
00:02:42.240 bank and aren't paying for pricey childcare. The article tells us, quote, it seems like everyone wants to
00:02:47.420 be a dink these days. Dink households that are double income with no kids are seeing their ranks
00:02:52.240 grow, especially as a high cost of living and the climate crisis weigh particularly on people with
00:02:56.540 children. There are variations on the dink or the sink, single income, no kids. You could be a dink
00:03:02.120 wad, which means double income, no kids with a dog. Dink wads, who previously spoke to Business Insider,
00:03:07.540 said that the lifestyle gives them financial stability, the capacity to travel, and the ability
00:03:11.620 to dodge the ever-increasing cost of parenthood. And it's a lifestyle that's paying off as dinks
00:03:16.060 emerge on top of a shaky economy. So who are the dinks of America? Their ranks are set to grow,
00:03:20.900 they're making six figures, and they want to spend their money on their pets and traveling.
00:03:25.540 Yes, dink wad if you have a dog, or I guess dink whack if you have a cat, or dink wop if you own a
00:03:32.940 pony or a pig or a parrot, or if you're a big Cardi B fan. There are many variations, but they all boil
00:03:38.820 down to the fact that you have decided to not have kids. And as the article details, this is a rapidly
00:03:43.280 growing group. Quote, around 5% of the country's total population was cohabitating couples who do
00:03:48.500 not live with a child under 18, and around 29% of the total population are married couples who do not
00:03:52.900 live with a child under 18, according to the 2022 American Community Survey data. Among unmarried
00:03:58.100 couples, that figure is slightly up from 2019, when 4.4% of the population was cohabitating couples not
00:04:03.900 living with a child under 18. The U.S. Census Bureau also finds that the aging population is
00:04:09.200 increasingly child-free. As of 2018, over 1 in 7 women were childless by the time they were
00:04:14.040 between the ages of 40 and 44. That's higher than the 1 in 10 women who were in the same boat as of
00:04:19.000 1976. A Pew survey found that 44% of non-parents ages 18 to 49 said that they were not likely or not
00:04:25.180 at all likely to have kids at all someday, up from 37%. Okay, but what is the dink existence really like?
00:04:32.980 Well, this week there has also been, for whatever reason, a sudden surge in TikTok videos promoting
00:04:40.180 this lifestyle, and most of them kind of follow the same annoying format, which looks like this. Watch.
00:04:46.820 We're dinks. We go to Trader Joe's and workout classes on the weekends. We're dinks. We get into
00:04:51.320 snobby hobbies like skiing and golfing. We're dinks. We can go to Florida on a whim. We're dinks. We're
00:04:56.300 already planning our European vacation next year. Dinks. We get a full eight hours of sleep and sometimes
00:05:00.880 more. We're dinks. We get desserts and appetizers at restaurants. We're dinks. We can play with other
00:05:05.580 kids and give them back. We're dinks. We still do it three times a week. We're dinks. We spend our
00:05:11.180 discretionary income on $8 latte. We're dinks. We max out our 401ks, Roth IRAs, and HSAs. We're dinks.
00:05:18.440 We don't use our kids or dog as an excuse to leave a party. We just leave.
00:05:24.080 Yes, well, I'm a cisk single income six kids, and I can do you one better. I make no excuse to leave a
00:05:29.900 party because I just don't go to parties in the first place. But I guess it has more to do with
00:05:34.180 being aswik, antisocial with kids, which isn't much different from being aswok, antisocial without
00:05:40.140 kids. But in any case, you may notice that most of the things they're bragging about besides the
00:05:44.080 ability to leave social gatherings when they want to, which I guess they imagine for some reason is
00:05:48.000 something parents aren't able to do. But most of the things all revolve around their increased
00:05:52.860 ability to buy stuff. And this is a theme that runs through basically all of the dink propaganda.
00:05:58.520 Watch.
00:06:00.800 We're dinks. We're going to get asked daily when we plan on having kids.
00:06:03.740 We're dinks. Of course, we're going to go out to eat every night after work.
00:06:06.660 We're dinks. We don't have to ask our family for financial help or to watch our kid when we want
00:06:10.480 to go out.
00:06:11.460 We're dinks. We're going to go to Costco and buy all the snacks in bulk that we want.
00:06:15.700 We're dinks. We have disposable income to spend on whatever we would like and don't have to spend
00:06:20.060 on a kid.
00:06:21.300 We're dinks. I'm going to go to every football game and play 18 holes whenever I want.
00:06:26.140 We're dinks. We're going to get asked at every single family event what we're doing with our life.
00:06:31.080 Yes, we're dinks. We can buy things. We can consume. Look at all the consuming we do.
00:06:36.360 We are such dedicated consumers. You dumb parents with your dumb children. You can't possibly devote
00:06:41.280 as much of your life to buying and eating, which is literally the only thing we care about in this
00:06:46.820 world apparently. And this is the message over and over again. Another example.
00:06:51.700 We're dinks. We're going to be asked constantly by family, friends, and strangers when we're
00:06:56.460 going to have kids.
00:06:57.380 We're dinks. We're going to go to Costco and buy all the snacks we want.
00:07:00.660 We're dinks. We're going to support our friends who have kids, even if we decide to never have
00:07:04.080 any.
00:07:04.560 We're dinks. We're going to have...
00:07:06.000 We're dinks. We're going to have lots of...
00:07:09.700 We're dinks. We're going to have lots of disposable income to spend on whatever we like.
00:07:14.080 We're dinks. We're going to get chastised by people on the internet because they're going to
00:07:19.720 assume that we're just obsessed with material things, even though arguably you need a lot more
00:07:25.620 material things once you have kids.
00:07:28.160 We're dinks. We don't need to find a sitter or rope our family into babysitting when we want to go
00:07:33.240 out for the night.
00:07:34.000 We're dinks. We're going to be told the only way that we'll ever be fulfilled in life is by having kids.
00:07:40.780 We're dinks. We're going to book flights whenever we feel like it.
00:07:43.540 We're dinks. We're still going to stick to a strict budget to meet our financial goals,
00:07:48.520 no matter how much wiggle room we have in our finances.
00:07:51.620 We're dinks. We're not going to make a life-altering choice just because everybody else is doing it.
00:07:56.400 Period.
00:07:59.400 Now, as you're probably noticing, these people apparently have a weird preoccupation with Costco.
00:08:04.640 They're making videos providing unsolicited lists of the things that make their lives fulfilling,
00:08:08.720 and somehow Costco makes the cut.
00:08:12.340 Here's another one. Watch.
00:08:14.160 We're kid-free, so we love to treat our furry babies just like children.
00:08:19.200 We're kid-free. We always get a full night's sleep and sometimes a nap.
00:08:23.060 We're kid-free, so obviously everyone's going to ask us,
00:08:26.300 so when are you going to have kids?
00:08:29.340 We're kid-free. We love our family and friends' kids, even if we don't want our own.
00:08:32.640 You're high.
00:08:34.340 You're high.
00:08:35.860 I wish.
00:08:36.540 We're kid-free.
00:08:38.120 Karen's are constantly going to tell us, aren't we afraid of missing out?
00:08:41.480 What if you never feel fully fulfilled or unconditional love without them?
00:08:45.540 Well, Karen, don't you think that's a lot of pressure to put on your kids?
00:08:49.180 All of your needs? I think we'll be okay.
00:08:52.640 We're kid-free. There's only two mouths to feed.
00:08:54.820 We can prioritize better Costco snacks.
00:08:58.440 Okay, this Costco thing is really getting out of control, but let's just one more video.
00:09:03.060 Why is nobody talking about being dinks?
00:09:06.320 Well, I'm freshly married, and I'm going to talk about it.
00:09:08.180 Here's our life as dinks in our early 30s.
00:09:09.820 No shocker here, folks. Today we went to Costco.
00:09:12.920 Okay, enough with Costco.
00:09:14.160 I mean, I like to buy cereal wholesale too, but I'm not going to make it my whole identity,
00:09:17.780 so let's get a grip.
00:09:21.060 So what's really going on here?
00:09:22.960 Let's take a step back.
00:09:25.360 And first of all, a few points.
00:09:27.580 Number one, are you really trying to take ownership of Costco as childless people?
00:09:34.380 That's like saying that a benefit of being childless is that you get to go to the Rainforest Cafe.
00:09:38.520 I mean, those places exist for us, for parents.
00:09:41.380 That is our domain.
00:09:43.160 And for the record, I buy whatever snacks I want for myself whenever I want them,
00:09:46.380 whether from Costco or anywhere else.
00:09:48.420 My children do not prevent me from indulging in that way.
00:09:51.060 The only difference is that if anybody asked me to provide a list of the things that I love most about my life,
00:09:55.900 I wouldn't cite the fact that I can buy snacks for myself, okay?
00:09:59.740 If somebody were to come to me and say,
00:10:00.940 what's the greatest thing about being you, Matt?
00:10:03.840 What do you love the most?
00:10:05.420 Well, I can buy snacks.
00:10:07.860 I wouldn't say that, not because I can't buy snacks,
00:10:09.880 but because that's a rather banal detail that I would think is probably not worth mentioning.
00:10:14.360 And yet, for dinks, snacks and Costco play apparently a central role in their lives.
00:10:21.000 On their deathbeds, while they're lying there alone with no one to mourn them
00:10:24.540 or care that they're dying or remember them when they're gone,
00:10:27.000 if the hospice nurse, who's the only person who's going to be in the room with them,
00:10:29.740 asks them to pass along a final piece of wisdom,
00:10:32.280 they will look up and with their final dying breath,
00:10:35.220 they will whisper, get a Costco membership.
00:10:39.240 They have great deals on Cheez-Its.
00:10:44.300 See, a person's life has to revolve around something,
00:10:47.520 has to be dedicated to something.
00:10:48.880 And even by their own testimony,
00:10:50.540 it's clear that when people choose to be childless,
00:10:52.280 their lives inevitably revolve around pure, self-centered, unadulterated,
00:10:57.120 unencumbered consumption.
00:10:58.320 That's not my accusation.
00:11:00.600 That's, listen to them.
00:11:01.840 Any one of these videos where these childless people talk about the benefits of being childless,
00:11:07.000 that's them saying it.
00:11:08.480 Is that, think of all the consumption we can do.
00:11:12.240 Now, of course, it's true that the same is the case for many parents in the modern world.
00:11:16.560 I mean, there are many parents who,
00:11:17.520 their lives also revolve around consumption.
00:11:20.360 But at least if you ask the average parent,
00:11:23.880 however they may actually live their lives,
00:11:26.340 they will at least say that the thing that gives them purpose and joy
00:11:30.480 is their relationship with their children and their spouses.
00:11:32.860 They will talk about their families as the foundation of their lives.
00:11:36.160 That shows, at the very least,
00:11:38.600 that they are aspiring to something higher and greater than themselves.
00:11:42.340 Whether or not they actually live up to their own aspirations is a different story.
00:11:45.280 But the dinks don't even aspire to the transcendent.
00:11:49.800 For them, there is no meaning in life except in their ability to sleep and eat and buy stuff.
00:11:55.160 It is a deeply nihilistic way to live.
00:11:57.880 And this is what makes the rise of the dinks so catastrophic.
00:12:02.720 That is, aside from the more immediate and obvious fact that this is a community which,
00:12:06.240 if it reaches critical mass, would actually bring about the end of mankind.
00:12:10.300 Which, by the way, is a pretty good indication that you're making a bad lifestyle choice.
00:12:14.240 If your lifestyle is one that, if adopted by a majority of humans,
00:12:17.940 would spell the end of the human species,
00:12:20.600 then that is a very powerful sign that there is something seriously wrong with your lifestyle.
00:12:26.860 But aside from that, if it's possible to put that detail aside,
00:12:31.140 the rise of the childless by choice demographic is the rise of a group that has, in principle,
00:12:35.880 given up on finding any meaning in life beyond the multiplication and satisfaction of desire,
00:12:43.240 to use Dostoevsky's phrase.
00:12:45.640 They're so dedicated to this calling, so intent on consumption,
00:12:49.100 that they are willing to end their own bloodlines to pursue it.
00:12:53.500 They are willing to commit a sort of ancestral suicide,
00:12:57.500 just so they have more time to buy stuff.
00:13:00.420 Now, just consider specifically that overweight male dink in the video
00:13:04.840 who's especially excited about Costco.
00:13:07.380 Well, one of them anyway, because they all were.
00:13:09.960 But take one of those guys and just put them in your mind.
00:13:15.040 His ancestors fought and struggled and persevered and pioneered and bled and suffered
00:13:21.960 all so that he could exist.
00:13:24.620 And he stands now at the end of a procession that stretches back into the ancient past.
00:13:32.300 We all do, right?
00:13:34.120 Every single one of us.
00:13:36.020 A line of people who made his very existence possible,
00:13:40.700 who migrated thousands of miles and fought wars and tamed wildernesses
00:13:45.620 and built homes and civilizations all for him.
00:13:49.520 And he turns back to those people, to his ancestors, to his blood,
00:13:53.100 and he says, yeah, sorry, guys, we're done.
00:13:56.500 We're done here.
00:13:57.460 You know, I'm going to end the bloodline right here.
00:13:59.300 I'd rather have some extra spending cash to buy Doritos, I've decided.
00:14:04.400 The sheer hubris is astounding.
00:14:07.680 Though, of course, I realize that this man would be totally mystified by the notion
00:14:10.720 that he has any responsibility at all to his family, his ancestry, his bloodline,
00:14:16.260 much less to the God who created him.
00:14:18.960 He hasn't thought about any of this.
00:14:20.360 He's thought only about his own immediate happiness.
00:14:23.800 But in pursuing happiness above all, happiness through luxury, happiness through consumption,
00:14:29.240 he will miss it.
00:14:30.720 Because happiness comes from fulfillment.
00:14:33.140 And fulfillment comes from doing that which you are made to do.
00:14:37.880 Okay?
00:14:38.200 It comes from finding your place in that ancient ancestral struggle,
00:14:43.100 from taking part in it,
00:14:45.380 from building the next generation so that the fight can go on.
00:14:48.700 Happiness comes from fulfilling your purpose in life.
00:14:53.140 It comes from pursuing the transcendent, not the transactional.
00:14:59.680 So, the dinks will grow in number, but they will also grow in misery.
00:15:06.640 They will live superficial lives, and they will die anonymous deaths.
00:15:10.920 And if they have their way, they'll take down all of civilization with them.
00:15:17.780 But at least they'll get to spend more time at Costco.
00:15:22.100 Now, let's get to our five headlines.
00:15:23.300 You know, if you're single or if you know someone who's single,
00:15:31.160 you've probably seen or heard about all the insane dating apps out there.
00:15:34.780 But what if I told you there was a dating app that actually cared about your morals and your biblical values?
00:15:39.580 Well, now there is with a new dating app called Higher Bond.
00:15:42.520 Higher Bond is a new Christian dating app built to be safer, less stressful, and more Christ-centered.
00:15:47.740 Higher Bond is completely different than anything else out there.
00:15:49.980 There's no addictive swiping.
00:15:51.860 The focus is truly on quality over quantity, and it's designed to form lasting marriages.
00:15:56.480 Higher Bond is a Christian company that's veteran-owned by a husband and wife
00:15:59.580 looking to change the way Christian singles meet online.
00:16:02.760 You know, it's no secret that left-wing media and big tech are against companies like Higher Bond.
00:16:07.440 In fact, a big tech company rejected Higher Bond from running ads
00:16:11.200 because their website had the word Christian.
00:16:13.460 Our society and our country need what Higher Bond is doing,
00:16:16.200 and if you're single, you've got to check out higherbond.com.
00:16:19.920 Sign up before December 31st and get three months of Higher Bond premium, absolutely free.
00:16:24.500 That's higherbond.com today.
00:16:27.480 All right, big news to start with from The Daily Wire and also related to The Daily Wire.
00:16:33.420 It says, as the article on the homepage right now,
00:16:36.500 The Daily Wire, the Federalist, and the state of Texas joined on Tuesday in a lawsuit against the U.S. State Department
00:16:40.980 alleging that the government agency funded censorship technology designed to bankrupt domestic media outlets
00:16:46.640 with disfavored political opinions.
00:16:49.060 The State Department is tasked with foreign relations and has no authority over domestic affairs,
00:16:53.100 yet it took a government office designed for countering foreign terrorist propaganda,
00:16:57.540 which is called the Global Engagement Center,
00:16:59.500 and unleashed it against the Americans engaged in what it claimed was disinformation,
00:17:04.460 according to the lawsuit filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Texas,
00:17:07.260 by the new Civil Liberties Alliance.
00:17:11.100 It was, quote,
00:17:11.600 one of the most audacious, manipulative, secretive, and gravest abuses of power and infringements of First Amendment rights
00:17:18.620 by the federal government in American history, said the suit,
00:17:21.280 which also names the Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, and five other officials as defendants.
00:17:25.480 The lawsuit asks the judge to declare the State Department's attempt to interfere with domestic speech illegal
00:17:30.340 and to permanently bar it from developing, promoting, or encouraging others to use technology
00:17:34.760 to de-amplify, shadowban, or restrict the lawful speech of the American press and Americans.
00:17:41.320 GEC was founded in 2011 as the Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications
00:17:45.520 and tasked with countering propaganda of foreign terrorists like al-Qaeda.
00:17:50.060 In 2016, it was renamed but kept the same counterterrorism mission.
00:17:53.120 In 2017, Congress has made it clear that none of the funds authorized for the entity
00:17:57.120 shall be used for purposes other than countering foreign propaganda.
00:18:01.260 Nevertheless, GEC turned its focus on Americans.
00:18:04.220 The complaint alleges using taxpayer funds to finance the development and promotion of censorship organizations
00:18:08.540 such as NewsGuard, which we've talked about on the show,
00:18:12.120 and the Global Disinformation Index, which regularly targets conservative media outlets
00:18:16.220 such as The Daily Wire and The Federalist with the stated goal of limiting ad revenue.
00:18:20.140 Now, there's a lot more to this. I'm not going to read the entire thing.
00:18:23.660 It's a long article from Luke Rosiak, but you should go to The Daily Wire and read it
00:18:28.840 because it's a very important, very significant free speech case.
00:18:37.020 I don't think that this lawsuit from The Daily Wire and The Federalist and others
00:18:40.600 is going to get a ton of press, certainly not from the corporate press for obvious reasons,
00:18:45.120 but even by other conservatives, I don't think it's going to get a lot of attention
00:18:49.460 because it's not sexy, right? It's not flashy or showy.
00:18:54.540 Instead, it is a smart and necessary and effective and substantive way
00:18:58.860 to fight back against the censorship regime,
00:19:01.440 and we know that very oftentimes the smart, necessary, substantive, effective things
00:19:05.120 are the things that don't get a lot of attention.
00:19:07.080 They aren't appreciated as much. Be that as it may, this is extremely important
00:19:13.900 because this is how censorship works in the modern age.
00:19:19.380 So for the most part, the government is not coming in and saying,
00:19:25.460 you're not allowed to say this.
00:19:27.920 We haven't had the government show up at The Daily Wire offices and say,
00:19:32.580 here are things you're not allowed to say anymore.
00:19:36.720 They haven't sent federal agents into the office to raid our offices
00:19:41.800 and cart me and Ben and Michael and Candace away in handcuffs.
00:19:46.520 They haven't done that yet. It may come to that point.
00:19:49.060 It may well come to that point, but it hasn't happened yet.
00:19:53.320 If Joe Biden wins a second term, I would not be surprised.
00:19:56.380 In fact, I would, if Joe Biden wins a second term
00:20:00.980 and the country is run by his handlers for a second term,
00:20:05.400 I would be surprised if we didn't get to the point
00:20:08.160 where they were actually doing federal raids of, you know,
00:20:11.980 prominent conservative media outlets and putting people like me in jail.
00:20:17.800 But that's not where we are yet.
00:20:22.020 Where we are now is it's a more underhanded approach.
00:20:26.380 And the approach instead is to conspire to label us misinformation
00:20:31.560 and to use that as a pretense to make our content less accessible through algorithms
00:20:37.940 or, in this case, to deprive us of ad revenue,
00:20:41.240 which, in the long term, is supposed to have the effect of shutting down our businesses.
00:20:47.840 And, you know, that's what makes the whole thing less sort of dramatic,
00:20:51.140 less attention-grabbing in certain ways,
00:20:52.660 because, you know, it's one thing if we came to you and we said,
00:20:56.680 the government is telling us we're not allowed to say this thing.
00:21:01.540 Everyone knows that's a big deal.
00:21:03.820 But it's different when we say,
00:21:05.100 the government is trying to label our content misinformation
00:21:07.040 and make it less accessible through social media algorithms
00:21:09.900 and deprive us of ad revenue indirectly.
00:21:12.100 Like, when you say that, people's eyes start to gloss over a little bit.
00:21:18.480 But they shouldn't, because it is effectively the same thing.
00:21:24.060 They know they can't come in directly
00:21:25.700 and point guns at us and say, stop saying that.
00:21:30.820 Again, maybe eventually it'll come to that.
00:21:33.580 Right now they can't get away with it.
00:21:35.580 And so they're not doing that.
00:21:36.700 And they found other ways to do it.
00:21:38.040 And they're using counter-terrorism agencies.
00:21:41.480 And they're using all these different, you know,
00:21:43.920 agencies and programs that were set up for other,
00:21:46.000 allegedly for other purposes.
00:21:48.100 And they're doing it all under the guise of, quote-unquote, misinformation.
00:21:52.900 And who decides what counts as misinformation?
00:21:55.760 Well, of course, they do.
00:21:56.720 The ruling regime does.
00:21:59.180 The people who believe that men can have babies
00:22:01.480 and women have penises,
00:22:02.520 these are the ones who are deciding what is misinformation.
00:22:04.680 Which, by the way,
00:22:08.000 even if we could trust
00:22:09.820 their judgment on what qualifies as misinformation,
00:22:14.960 which we can't,
00:22:16.460 even if we could, I would still say
00:22:17.720 this is all totally wrong.
00:22:20.960 Because it's just not the government's job
00:22:22.580 to counter misinformation.
00:22:24.180 It's not the government's job to declare
00:22:26.220 what sort of information
00:22:28.260 you should have access to
00:22:30.480 as an allegedly free citizen
00:22:34.020 of an allegedly free country.
00:22:36.180 But it's made all the worse by the fact that,
00:22:38.900 as we know,
00:22:39.500 when they say misinformation,
00:22:40.660 they simply mean information
00:22:42.060 that they would prefer you not see.
00:22:46.500 Whatever their reasons may be for that.
00:22:49.420 And 99 times out of 100,
00:22:50.820 the reason they don't want you to see it
00:22:51.920 is not because it's wrong,
00:22:53.760 but because, in fact, it's right.
00:22:57.320 All right, the corporate media
00:22:58.340 is in a bit of a tizzy today.
00:22:59.480 They're always in a tizzy,
00:23:00.600 but they're especially tizzied today
00:23:02.360 after, according to their headlines,
00:23:04.440 Trump confessed to being a dictator
00:23:06.760 during a town hall
00:23:08.600 with Sean Hannity last night.
00:23:10.200 And in the town hall, the media says
00:23:11.540 Trump announced that he would be a dictator
00:23:14.200 on day one in office.
00:23:16.060 And as it turns out,
00:23:17.560 that is actually what he said.
00:23:20.460 Let's watch the clip.
00:23:22.680 I want to go back to this one issue, though,
00:23:25.100 because the media has been focused on this
00:23:27.440 and attacking you under no circumstances.
00:23:30.520 You are promising America tonight.
00:23:32.660 You would never abuse power
00:23:34.760 as retribution against anybody.
00:23:37.700 Except for day one.
00:23:39.300 Except for?
00:23:40.100 He's going crazy.
00:23:40.920 Except for day one.
00:23:41.820 Meaning?
00:23:42.480 I want to close the border
00:23:43.880 and I want to drill, drill, drill.
00:23:46.500 That's not retribution.
00:23:49.480 I'm going to be,
00:23:50.540 I'm going to be,
00:23:52.140 you know, he keeps,
00:23:53.520 we love this guy.
00:23:54.760 He says,
00:23:55.140 you're not going to be a dictator, are you?
00:23:56.620 I said, no, no, no.
00:23:58.000 Other than day one,
00:23:59.260 we're closing the border
00:24:00.280 and we're drilling, drilling, drilling.
00:24:02.300 After that, I'm not a dictator.
00:24:03.840 That sounds to me like
00:24:05.200 you're going back to the policies
00:24:06.640 when you were president.
00:24:07.900 All right.
00:24:08.820 I love that clip.
00:24:09.880 I mean, that's,
00:24:10.620 to me, that is vintage Trump.
00:24:12.740 And I don't think we've seen
00:24:13.640 a lot of vintage Trump
00:24:14.520 this cycle, unfortunately.
00:24:16.420 But to me, that's like,
00:24:17.720 that, if I didn't know any better
00:24:19.420 and you told me that was from 2016,
00:24:21.080 I would have believed you.
00:24:22.280 Because that's like 2016 era
00:24:23.860 vintage Trump.
00:24:25.760 And so you see that glimmer of that
00:24:29.440 and it's great.
00:24:30.800 And I love the clip
00:24:31.760 for a bunch of reasons.
00:24:32.560 First of all,
00:24:33.140 because Sean is like doing his thing,
00:24:36.180 acting as campaign manager
00:24:37.660 rather than interviewer,
00:24:39.240 trying to lead Trump
00:24:40.820 into saying certain things.
00:24:41.680 Like, this is not,
00:24:42.480 you know,
00:24:43.040 even if you're a Trump supporter
00:24:44.640 and maybe you're happy
00:24:46.420 that he gets a softball interview,
00:24:49.360 it's like, this is not,
00:24:50.160 what Sean Hannity does,
00:24:51.020 it's not even an interview.
00:24:51.980 This is like walking him
00:24:53.420 through the things that he,
00:24:55.480 it's,
00:24:56.800 so, Mr. Trump,
00:25:00.400 Mr. President,
00:25:01.360 you're,
00:25:01.800 here's what you are saying
00:25:03.440 right now.
00:25:04.800 Here's,
00:25:05.640 here's what you're saying.
00:25:07.720 And Trump's like,
00:25:08.100 no, I'm not saying that.
00:25:10.000 So, Mr. President,
00:25:10.740 what you're saying
00:25:11.900 is that you're,
00:25:12.700 this stuff about you
00:25:13.320 being a dictator
00:25:13.960 is that's,
00:25:14.560 you're not a dictator.
00:25:15.540 No, I am.
00:25:16.300 At least on day one.
00:25:17.600 That's great.
00:25:19.540 And then Sean starts panicking
00:25:21.120 and the whole thing is fantastic.
00:25:24.100 Of course,
00:25:25.720 now,
00:25:26.340 what Trump is actually promising
00:25:27.680 to do here
00:25:28.360 is not illegal.
00:25:30.860 It's not retribution.
00:25:32.720 It's,
00:25:32.960 it isn't actually dictatorial.
00:25:35.640 He's not saying
00:25:36.400 he's going to suspend
00:25:37.080 the Constitution
00:25:37.760 and throw his enemies
00:25:38.680 in prison.
00:25:40.580 That's what Biden
00:25:41.300 is doing right now.
00:25:42.720 So, if he did say
00:25:43.600 he was going to do that,
00:25:44.320 then all he would be doing
00:25:45.180 is,
00:25:45.360 is continuing
00:25:46.120 the Biden administration's
00:25:48.280 current policies.
00:25:50.220 But,
00:25:50.680 he's not even saying
00:25:52.180 he's going to do that.
00:25:52.560 He's just saying
00:25:52.980 that he's going to ruthlessly
00:25:54.100 and effectively
00:25:54.840 wield power
00:25:55.860 to move his agenda forward
00:25:57.360 and to do the things
00:25:58.800 that he has the power to do
00:25:59.760 and that the American people
00:26:01.020 will have voted for him
00:26:02.180 to do.
00:26:02.940 And,
00:26:04.520 that's what he's saying.
00:26:06.760 You know,
00:26:07.020 and he's saying it
00:26:07.500 in a funny way
00:26:08.260 and it's,
00:26:09.060 it's,
00:26:09.760 it's giving Sean Hannity
00:26:10.980 a conniption fit
00:26:11.680 and it's giving the media
00:26:12.880 a conniption fit
00:26:13.280 and so it's a lot of fun.
00:26:16.160 But,
00:26:17.400 you know,
00:26:18.100 my problem
00:26:19.800 with what you just heard there,
00:26:22.920 my problem with Trump's
00:26:24.460 dictator comment
00:26:25.120 is that he's only promising
00:26:27.260 to do it on day one.
00:26:29.480 Because if by dictator
00:26:30.660 we mean again
00:26:31.440 just ruthlessly
00:26:32.360 and effectively
00:26:33.120 wielding legal power
00:26:34.500 to move forward
00:26:35.320 your agenda
00:26:35.880 and crush your enemies,
00:26:37.820 well,
00:26:38.020 he needs to be a dictator
00:26:39.000 in that sense
00:26:39.660 every day
00:26:40.500 of his term.
00:26:43.120 I don't want day,
00:26:43.660 you know,
00:26:44.340 day one,
00:26:45.180 what about day two
00:26:45.760 and three
00:26:46.080 and four and five?
00:26:48.200 This has always been
00:26:49.060 my critique of Trump's presidency.
00:26:50.400 A lot of people,
00:26:50.960 even to this point,
00:26:52.360 after these many years,
00:26:53.600 like,
00:26:53.800 they still don't understand
00:26:54.840 what my criticism is.
00:26:57.660 Okay,
00:26:57.860 I know a lot of people
00:26:58.360 have criticism of Trump
00:26:59.200 and the left,
00:27:00.880 it's one thing,
00:27:01.440 and you got the Never Trump
00:27:02.360 whatever crowd
00:27:03.460 and the Bill Crystals
00:27:04.760 of the world
00:27:05.300 who've become leftist
00:27:06.860 or always were
00:27:08.440 but have fully come out
00:27:10.320 as leftist
00:27:10.900 in response to Trump.
00:27:12.420 Like,
00:27:12.560 there's that.
00:27:14.240 That's not,
00:27:15.440 my own critique
00:27:16.800 is quite different.
00:27:18.120 It's like the opposite
00:27:18.980 of those people.
00:27:22.580 They say that he was
00:27:23.640 a dictator.
00:27:25.220 What I say
00:27:26.360 is that
00:27:27.520 he didn't wield
00:27:28.680 his power
00:27:29.240 nearly enough.
00:27:31.500 Like,
00:27:32.000 he was far
00:27:32.820 too eager
00:27:33.600 and far
00:27:34.340 too willing
00:27:34.880 to kowtow
00:27:35.560 to the left
00:27:36.140 and to the media
00:27:36.800 and too desirous
00:27:37.980 of their approval.
00:27:42.340 You know,
00:27:42.920 they paint him
00:27:43.680 as this ruthless,
00:27:44.640 like,
00:27:46.240 you know,
00:27:47.600 pragmatist
00:27:48.480 who's just out there
00:27:50.600 getting stuff done.
00:27:51.260 I want more ruthlessness.
00:27:53.580 To me,
00:27:54.020 he was not
00:27:54.480 nearly ruthless enough
00:27:56.000 in the first term.
00:28:00.300 And so,
00:28:01.260 I liked his response there
00:28:03.080 but what I would like
00:28:04.440 to hear in the future
00:28:05.040 is this is what
00:28:06.420 we're doing day one.
00:28:08.180 Here's what we're doing
00:28:08.820 day two,
00:28:09.840 day three,
00:28:10.340 day four,
00:28:10.700 day five.
00:28:11.020 It's not a day one thing.
00:28:13.200 Because also,
00:28:13.640 by the way,
00:28:14.580 those are not things
00:28:16.100 you can do
00:28:16.380 in one day anyway,
00:28:16.980 obviously.
00:28:18.120 I know he wasn't
00:28:18.900 speaking in literal terms here
00:28:20.820 but building the wall,
00:28:23.740 all these kinds of things,
00:28:24.560 you can't do that
00:28:25.180 in one day.
00:28:29.380 But what I would love
00:28:30.300 to hear from you,
00:28:30.980 and you kind of hear it there,
00:28:32.300 is this is like
00:28:32.880 the attitude that you want
00:28:34.140 which is that like,
00:28:35.720 I don't care if you call me
00:28:36.360 a dictator or not.
00:28:37.000 Sure.
00:28:37.740 Sure, whatever,
00:28:38.300 I'm a dictator.
00:28:38.860 That's kind of what
00:28:39.400 Trump is doing here.
00:28:40.020 He's doing the same thing
00:28:40.940 that I always say,
00:28:43.020 you know,
00:28:43.320 you should do
00:28:43.740 when someone calls you
00:28:44.920 transphobic
00:28:45.640 or whatever
00:28:46.480 because you're saying
00:28:47.500 that men aren't women.
00:28:48.900 Rather than responding
00:28:50.300 as most Republicans
00:28:51.080 and conservatives do
00:28:51.820 but I say,
00:28:52.120 I'm not transphobic.
00:28:53.680 Just say,
00:28:54.280 fine, okay,
00:28:54.880 I am,
00:28:55.320 I don't care.
00:28:55.740 If that's how you define
00:28:56.780 transphobia
00:28:57.400 is that I believe
00:28:58.220 in biological reality
00:29:00.380 then sure,
00:29:00.900 I am,
00:29:01.140 I don't care.
00:29:02.600 This is how you define
00:29:03.640 dictator
00:29:04.160 as someone who actually
00:29:05.360 wields his legal power
00:29:07.100 to move forward
00:29:07.860 an agenda
00:29:08.400 that you oppose.
00:29:09.580 If that to you
00:29:10.460 is what a dictator is,
00:29:12.080 then yeah,
00:29:12.900 I'm a dictator.
00:29:14.080 Fine.
00:29:14.780 Go ahead,
00:29:15.280 call me that,
00:29:15.700 it doesn't matter.
00:29:16.480 Perfectly fine,
00:29:17.160 cool.
00:29:17.620 Yep,
00:29:17.880 that's what I'll be.
00:29:18.480 And so I think
00:29:20.680 that's kind of
00:29:21.060 what Trump
00:29:21.320 is doing there
00:29:21.900 and I'd love
00:29:24.720 to see more of it.
00:29:26.760 All right,
00:29:27.280 staying with politics
00:29:27.980 for a moment,
00:29:28.540 a clip of Nikki Haley
00:29:29.460 has gone viral.
00:29:30.280 This is actually
00:29:30.740 from an interview
00:29:31.240 back in the summer
00:29:31.940 and it's just now
00:29:32.660 getting attention.
00:29:33.800 I want to play,
00:29:34.620 I want to play
00:29:35.020 the viral clip for you
00:29:36.220 and then we're going
00:29:37.620 to play the full context
00:29:38.860 that Haley's defenders
00:29:41.460 claim exonerates her
00:29:42.880 but doesn't really.
00:29:45.420 But first,
00:29:46.300 here's the viral clip
00:29:47.340 that's gone viral
00:29:48.000 over the last few days.
00:29:49.580 Let's watch that.
00:29:51.380 Madam Ambassador,
00:29:52.300 another question is
00:29:52.960 what care should be
00:29:53.840 on the table
00:29:54.420 when a 12-year-old child
00:29:56.740 in this country
00:29:57.580 assigned female at birth
00:29:59.080 says actually I feel
00:30:00.100 more comfortable
00:30:00.620 living as a boy.
00:30:01.880 What should the law
00:30:02.620 allow the response to be?
00:30:06.260 Well,
00:30:06.600 I think the law
00:30:07.240 should stay out of it
00:30:08.140 and I think parents
00:30:08.880 should handle it.
00:30:10.780 Okay,
00:30:11.300 so she says
00:30:12.060 that the law
00:30:12.540 should not forbid
00:30:13.180 doctors from sterilizing
00:30:14.260 and castrating 12-year-olds.
00:30:18.380 Admittedly,
00:30:18.840 the clip does cut off
00:30:19.960 abruptly
00:30:20.360 and Haley's fans,
00:30:22.820 all seven of them,
00:30:24.280 have said that
00:30:24.760 the full context
00:30:25.680 of her answer
00:30:26.240 is not as bad
00:30:27.180 as that clip makes it sound.
00:30:29.220 Now,
00:30:29.660 you might think to yourself
00:30:30.240 like what could she
00:30:31.000 possibly say after that
00:30:32.700 to make the first part
00:30:34.640 of it okay?
00:30:37.320 And well,
00:30:37.760 let's,
00:30:38.060 let's,
00:30:38.920 I went and found
00:30:40.380 the full clip
00:30:40.900 and here's the full answer
00:30:43.120 that she gives
00:30:43.840 and you tell me
00:30:45.120 if you think it
00:30:45.960 gets her off the hook.
00:30:48.020 Let's see.
00:30:49.520 Madam Ambassador,
00:30:50.420 another question
00:30:50.880 is what care
00:30:51.620 should be on the table
00:30:52.540 when a 12-year-old child
00:30:54.860 in this country
00:30:55.700 assigned female
00:30:56.520 at birth
00:30:57.200 says actually
00:30:57.920 I feel more comfortable
00:30:58.740 living as a boy.
00:31:00.000 What should the law
00:31:00.720 allow the response
00:31:02.320 to be?
00:31:04.340 Well,
00:31:04.720 I think the law
00:31:05.360 should stay out of it
00:31:06.260 and I think parents
00:31:07.000 should handle it.
00:31:07.800 This is a job
00:31:08.500 for the parents
00:31:09.160 to handle
00:31:09.720 and then when that child
00:31:11.120 becomes 18,
00:31:11.900 if they want to make
00:31:12.640 more of a permanent change
00:31:13.860 they can do that
00:31:15.040 but I think up until then
00:31:16.360 we see with our teenage kids
00:31:18.160 they go through a lot
00:31:19.220 during puberty.
00:31:20.340 They go through
00:31:20.760 a lot of confusion.
00:31:21.760 They go through
00:31:22.100 a lot of anxiety.
00:31:23.020 They go through
00:31:23.420 a lot of pressures.
00:31:24.660 We should support them
00:31:25.780 the whole way through
00:31:26.860 but we don't need
00:31:28.000 to go and enforce
00:31:28.800 something in schools.
00:31:29.800 We don't need schools
00:31:30.720 sitting there
00:31:31.220 hiding from the parents
00:31:32.320 what gender pronoun
00:31:33.980 they're using.
00:31:34.740 We don't need to have
00:31:35.480 those conversations
00:31:36.300 in schools.
00:31:37.180 Those are conversations
00:31:38.040 that should be had
00:31:38.840 at home.
00:31:40.500 Okay, so yeah
00:31:41.240 it's just as bad.
00:31:42.240 The full context
00:31:44.060 of the clip
00:31:44.500 does not do anything
00:31:45.500 to exonerate her
00:31:48.440 in this case.
00:31:49.600 She says that the law
00:31:50.540 should stay out of it
00:31:51.240 and then she talks
00:31:51.760 about parents' judgment
00:31:52.820 and all the rest of it
00:31:53.580 and then she gets into
00:31:54.400 when they're 18
00:31:56.180 and all this.
00:31:58.480 I'm at a point
00:31:59.220 where even if she
00:32:01.180 said the right thing
00:32:02.300 about the law
00:32:02.900 and said yeah
00:32:03.360 the law should forbid
00:32:04.380 obviously doctors
00:32:06.080 from castrating
00:32:06.700 and sterilizing children
00:32:08.120 and she didn't say that
00:32:11.060 but I'm at a point
00:32:12.860 where even if she
00:32:13.380 had said that
00:32:13.960 if she then immediately
00:32:15.380 followed it with
00:32:15.980 what at 18
00:32:16.780 yeah go ahead
00:32:17.320 and sterilize away
00:32:18.260 you know yeah
00:32:19.340 then go ahead
00:32:19.860 then of course
00:32:21.360 if doctors want to
00:32:22.780 prey upon
00:32:24.100 confused people
00:32:25.620 and permanently
00:32:27.180 damage their bodies
00:32:29.760 and take them
00:32:32.060 out of the gene pool
00:32:32.940 by sterilizing them
00:32:34.340 and all that
00:32:34.660 then yeah
00:32:35.460 perfectly fine.
00:32:36.660 I'm at a point
00:32:37.020 where like
00:32:37.340 even that answer
00:32:38.120 is just
00:32:38.880 well I've
00:32:39.520 I've long been at
00:32:41.160 I've always been
00:32:41.620 at this point
00:32:42.080 where even that answer
00:32:43.620 is just unacceptable
00:32:44.780 to me
00:32:45.280 like
00:32:45.640 that is way
00:32:47.640 to
00:32:47.860 to
00:32:48.960 to be okay
00:32:50.860 with it at 18
00:32:51.760 is not as crazy
00:32:54.000 as being okay
00:32:54.800 with it for kids
00:32:55.760 but it's still
00:32:56.600 really crazy
00:32:57.520 but she couldn't
00:33:01.540 even go that far
00:33:02.280 she was not able
00:33:03.320 to bring herself
00:33:03.920 to say
00:33:04.440 obviously the law
00:33:06.580 should prohibit
00:33:07.480 medical institutions
00:33:09.680 from sterilizing
00:33:10.560 and castrating
00:33:11.040 minors
00:33:11.400 and let me tell you
00:33:11.880 something
00:33:12.020 if you cannot
00:33:12.780 say that
00:33:13.480 if you are not
00:33:14.900 even able to say
00:33:15.780 that
00:33:16.080 if you lack
00:33:17.600 the moral
00:33:18.160 courage and fortitude
00:33:19.320 to take a strong
00:33:22.020 clear stance
00:33:23.200 against the
00:33:24.740 castration
00:33:25.220 sterilization
00:33:25.820 of children
00:33:26.380 then you are not
00:33:27.420 fit
00:33:27.820 to run for office
00:33:29.480 you're not fit
00:33:29.920 to be in office
00:33:30.780 you are not
00:33:32.520 substantively different
00:33:33.500 from Democrats
00:33:34.260 at all
00:33:34.840 which is why
00:33:36.680 if we
00:33:37.320 if we end up
00:33:37.900 in some
00:33:38.220 bizarro universe
00:33:39.200 where
00:33:39.580 Nikki Haley
00:33:41.520 actually wins
00:33:42.220 the nomination
00:33:42.780 which I think
00:33:44.420 the chances
00:33:44.800 of that
00:33:45.160 are like
00:33:45.480 .0001%
00:33:47.180 but hey
00:33:47.560 there's always
00:33:47.980 a chance
00:33:48.420 if that were
00:33:51.940 to happen
00:33:52.240 then I think
00:33:52.600 I just
00:33:53.120 wouldn't vote
00:33:53.620 I don't think
00:33:54.240 that I would
00:33:54.560 vote
00:33:54.860 for Nikki Haley
00:33:56.280 I mean
00:33:56.920 I would never
00:33:57.260 vote for a
00:33:57.700 Democrat
00:33:57.980 I'd rather
00:33:58.260 be dead
00:33:58.620 than vote
00:33:58.880 for a
00:33:59.120 Democrat
00:33:59.360 but that's
00:34:00.380 also why
00:34:00.720 I don't
00:34:01.240 think I'd
00:34:01.500 vote for
00:34:01.720 Nikki Haley
00:34:02.060 because
00:34:02.240 I just
00:34:03.880 don't see
00:34:04.160 how she's
00:34:04.420 any different
00:34:04.720 from a
00:34:04.980 Democrat
00:34:05.220 she has
00:34:06.580 caved
00:34:06.980 on every
00:34:07.480 single
00:34:07.880 important
00:34:08.360 social
00:34:08.860 and cultural
00:34:09.280 issue
00:34:09.700 and then
00:34:11.820 on top
00:34:12.300 of that
00:34:12.780 she's
00:34:13.960 actually
00:34:14.140 probably
00:34:14.360 more
00:34:14.820 likely
00:34:15.240 to get
00:34:15.700 us
00:34:15.840 into
00:34:16.080 World War
00:34:16.560 3
00:34:16.740 than
00:34:16.860 a
00:34:16.960 Democrat
00:34:17.220 would
00:34:17.480 be
00:34:17.660 so
00:34:19.620 she's
00:34:19.860 like
00:34:20.020 not
00:34:20.440 quite
00:34:20.800 as
00:34:21.040 bad
00:34:21.340 as
00:34:21.560 them
00:34:21.820 on
00:34:22.060 the
00:34:22.180 cultural
00:34:22.460 issues
00:34:22.920 she's
00:34:23.280 still
00:34:23.440 bad
00:34:23.800 but
00:34:25.200 when it
00:34:25.460 comes
00:34:25.660 to
00:34:25.940 the
00:34:26.280 possibility
00:34:26.720 of
00:34:27.040 us
00:34:27.360 getting
00:34:27.540 involved
00:34:27.920 in
00:34:28.120 a
00:34:28.300 needless
00:34:29.040 war
00:34:29.540 overseas
00:34:29.980 she's
00:34:31.860 probably
00:34:32.380 even
00:34:33.100 worse
00:34:33.440 on that
00:34:33.800 end
00:34:34.040 so
00:34:36.140 that's
00:34:36.440 how
00:34:36.540 bad
00:34:36.780 she
00:34:36.920 is
00:34:37.060 I
00:34:37.140 just
00:34:37.280 think
00:34:37.460 there's
00:34:38.320 just
00:34:38.460 nothing
00:34:38.900 what's
00:34:40.440 the
00:34:40.560 positive
00:34:40.840 here
00:34:41.080 with Nikki
00:34:41.440 Haley
00:34:41.660 could
00:34:41.960 someone
00:34:42.100 explain
00:34:42.400 to
00:34:42.540 me
00:34:42.740 it's
00:34:44.900 just
00:34:45.080 that
00:34:45.220 she's
00:34:45.380 a
00:34:45.460 woman
00:34:45.620 like
00:34:45.800 that's
00:34:46.000 the
00:34:46.120 only
00:34:46.380 reason
00:34:46.960 she has
00:34:47.240 any
00:34:47.440 kind
00:34:47.600 of
00:34:47.660 political
00:34:47.900 career
00:34:48.140 right now
00:34:48.380 is
00:34:48.480 just
00:34:48.680 that
00:34:48.800 she's
00:34:48.960 a
00:34:49.020 woman
00:34:49.120 if
00:34:49.420 she
00:34:49.540 was
00:34:49.720 a
00:34:49.940 it's
00:34:50.560 the
00:34:50.600 only
00:34:50.680 reason
00:34:50.900 that
00:34:51.040 some
00:34:51.220 Republicans
00:34:52.280 even
00:34:52.480 some
00:34:52.880 conservatives
00:34:53.380 still
00:34:54.400 say
00:34:54.640 Nikki
00:34:55.320 Haley
00:34:55.700 is
00:34:55.820 great
00:34:56.000 I
00:34:56.140 love
00:34:56.280 Nikki
00:34:56.480 Haley
00:34:56.700 you
00:34:58.280 don't
00:34:58.400 hear
00:34:58.520 a lot
00:34:58.740 of
00:34:58.800 people
00:34:58.940 saying
00:34:59.160 that
00:34:59.300 but
00:34:59.380 you
00:34:59.460 do
00:34:59.560 hear
00:34:59.700 it
00:34:59.780 sometimes
00:35:00.140 and
00:35:01.700 the
00:35:11.440 all
00:35:14.140 right
00:35:14.280 one
00:35:14.620 last
00:35:15.180 thing
00:35:15.680 and
00:35:17.840 here's
00:35:18.080 my
00:35:18.220 favorite
00:35:18.580 story
00:35:18.940 of the
00:35:19.160 week
00:35:19.320 Dylan
00:35:20.380 Mulvaney
00:35:20.880 spoke
00:35:21.360 at
00:35:21.620 Penn
00:35:21.880 State
00:35:22.200 last
00:35:22.540 night
00:35:22.820 and
00:35:23.060 he's
00:35:23.280 on
00:35:23.380 a
00:35:23.500 college
00:35:23.820 tour
00:35:24.140 where
00:35:24.380 reportedly
00:35:24.880 he's
00:35:25.140 getting
00:35:25.300 paid
00:35:25.680 40
00:35:26.400 grand
00:35:26.980 a
00:35:27.360 pop
00:35:27.700 to
00:35:28.760 speak
00:35:29.060 on
00:35:29.340 campuses
00:35:29.740 across
00:35:30.040 the
00:35:30.200 country
00:35:30.500 and
00:35:31.000 at
00:35:31.500 Penn
00:35:31.700 State
00:35:31.920 they
00:35:32.100 secured
00:35:32.400 a
00:35:32.580 1,000
00:35:33.240 seat
00:35:33.560 venue
00:35:34.000 expecting
00:35:35.060 a huge
00:35:35.480 crowd
00:35:35.820 and
00:35:37.420 the
00:35:38.720 event
00:35:38.920 was
00:35:39.100 last
00:35:39.380 night
00:35:39.620 and
00:35:40.020 here's
00:35:40.420 what
00:35:40.500 it
00:35:40.600 looked
00:35:40.720 like
00:35:40.900 let's
00:35:41.040 put
00:35:41.160 that
00:35:41.320 up
00:35:41.560 there
00:35:43.840 it
00:35:43.960 is
00:35:44.160 I
00:35:45.380 mean
00:35:45.520 it
00:35:45.780 is
00:35:46.080 it
00:35:48.420 looks
00:35:48.920 like
00:35:49.100 a
00:35:49.360 it
00:35:49.660 looks
00:35:49.860 it
00:35:50.140 looks
00:35:50.300 I
00:35:50.440 was
00:35:50.540 gonna
00:35:50.620 say
00:35:50.700 it
00:35:50.780 looks
00:35:50.880 like
00:35:50.980 a
00:35:51.100 Jeb
00:35:51.300 Bush
00:35:51.500 rally
00:35:51.840 in
00:35:52.140 2015
00:35:52.540 but
00:35:53.820 it's
00:35:55.000 even
00:35:55.200 worse
00:35:55.460 than
00:35:55.620 that
00:35:55.820 I'm
00:35:56.960 told
00:35:57.120 there
00:35:57.240 were
00:35:57.340 90
00:35:57.660 people
00:35:58.100 in
00:35:58.360 a
00:35:58.500 1,000
00:35:59.040 person
00:35:59.360 room
00:35:59.620 just
00:35:59.820 an
00:36:00.020 absolute
00:36:00.400 nightmare
00:36:00.960 for
00:36:01.420 Dylan
00:36:01.680 Mulvaney
00:36:02.060 you know
00:36:04.260 it's
00:36:04.660 like
00:36:04.800 as a
00:36:05.080 public
00:36:05.280 speaker
00:36:05.600 it's
00:36:05.800 the
00:36:05.940 only
00:36:06.220 thing
00:36:06.520 you
00:36:06.660 really
00:36:06.940 if
00:36:10.720 you
00:36:10.880 get
00:36:11.020 up
00:36:11.100 and
00:36:11.180 talk
00:36:11.340 speak
00:36:11.820 in front
00:36:12.000 of a
00:36:12.140 lot
00:36:12.220 of
00:36:12.300 people
00:36:12.540 do
00:36:12.740 you
00:36:12.780 get
00:36:12.900 nervous
00:36:13.300 and
00:36:14.480 the
00:36:15.480 answer
00:36:15.720 is
00:36:15.860 no
00:36:16.000 the
00:36:16.140 only
00:36:16.440 thing
00:36:16.700 that
00:36:16.940 you
00:36:17.040 really
00:36:17.220 get
00:36:17.340 nervous
00:36:17.600 about
00:36:17.860 is
00:36:18.040 like
00:36:18.260 having
00:36:18.680 a
00:36:18.820 situation
00:36:19.180 like
00:36:19.400 that
00:36:19.580 happen
00:36:19.860 having
00:36:20.960 way
00:36:21.740 more
00:36:22.020 empty
00:36:22.360 chairs
00:36:22.820 than
00:36:23.400 people
00:36:23.760 in
00:36:24.040 a
00:36:24.160 room
00:36:24.340 that's
00:36:25.040 the
00:36:25.180 nightmare
00:36:25.500 and
00:36:28.240 that's
00:36:29.100 what
00:36:29.180 happened
00:36:29.520 to
00:36:29.980 him
00:36:30.260 and
00:36:30.680 by
00:36:30.880 the
00:36:30.940 way
00:36:31.040 just
00:36:31.180 a
00:36:31.300 little
00:36:31.380 bit
00:36:31.500 of
00:36:31.580 behind
00:36:31.760 the
00:36:31.940 scenes
00:36:32.140 here
00:36:32.400 I
00:36:34.120 can
00:36:34.240 tell
00:36:34.340 that
00:36:34.480 we
00:36:34.600 actually
00:36:34.880 briefly
00:36:35.340 considered
00:36:35.800 the
00:36:36.000 idea
00:36:36.260 that
00:36:36.460 maybe
00:36:36.820 I
00:36:38.080 should
00:36:38.280 go to
00:36:38.620 Penn
00:36:38.820 State
00:36:39.080 to
00:36:39.300 counter
00:36:39.600 program
00:36:40.120 Dylan
00:36:40.420 Mulvaney
00:36:40.760 and
00:36:41.400 his
00:36:41.540 talk
00:36:41.820 we
00:36:41.960 thought
00:36:42.100 it
00:36:42.180 could
00:36:42.280 be
00:36:42.420 kind
00:36:42.940 of
00:36:43.040 funny
00:36:43.240 if
00:36:43.360 I
00:36:43.460 showed
00:36:43.740 up
00:36:43.980 and
00:36:44.320 held
00:36:44.840 an
00:36:44.980 event
00:36:45.200 at
00:36:45.360 the
00:36:45.460 exact
00:36:45.720 same
00:36:45.940 time
00:36:46.200 as
00:36:46.340 him
00:36:46.520 and
00:36:47.580 ideally
00:36:49.680 what we
00:36:50.480 really
00:36:50.640 want to
00:36:50.840 do
00:36:50.920 is
00:36:51.040 have
00:36:51.280 me
00:36:51.600 show
00:36:51.860 up
00:36:51.980 at
00:36:52.060 his
00:36:52.200 event
00:36:52.440 and
00:36:52.580 ask
00:36:52.760 a
00:36:52.880 question
00:36:53.160 in
00:36:53.260 Q&A
00:36:53.700 and
00:36:54.420 we
00:36:55.200 all
00:36:55.320 know
00:36:55.440 what
00:36:55.540 the
00:36:55.620 question
00:36:55.880 would
00:36:56.040 be
00:36:56.280 just
00:36:56.800 the
00:36:56.960 one
00:36:57.140 question
00:36:57.520 but
00:36:58.800 then
00:36:58.980 we
00:36:59.080 found
00:36:59.260 out
00:36:59.400 that
00:36:59.520 of
00:36:59.660 course
00:36:59.940 Dylan
00:37:00.260 Mulvaney
00:37:00.620 the
00:37:00.880 questions
00:37:01.240 are
00:37:01.420 submitted
00:37:01.760 like
00:37:02.040 days
00:37:02.580 ahead
00:37:02.800 of
00:37:02.960 time
00:37:03.260 because
00:37:04.500 he's
00:37:04.680 not
00:37:04.860 going
00:37:04.980 to
00:37:05.180 you
00:37:05.300 know
00:37:05.400 unlike
00:37:05.680 conservatives
00:37:06.060 we
00:37:06.220 go to
00:37:06.420 college
00:37:06.620 campuses
00:37:06.920 and
00:37:07.140 we
00:37:07.300 stand
00:37:07.660 there
00:37:07.900 and
00:37:08.000 of
00:37:08.080 course
00:37:08.160 we'll
00:37:08.280 never
00:37:08.420 get
00:37:08.540 credit
00:37:08.880 for
00:37:10.840 this
00:37:11.040 from
00:37:11.220 the
00:37:11.340 left
00:37:11.560 obviously
00:37:12.000 not
00:37:12.260 that
00:37:12.340 we
00:37:12.420 need
00:37:12.560 credit
00:37:12.760 from
00:37:12.880 the
00:37:12.960 but
00:37:13.760 we'll
00:37:13.960 go
00:37:14.100 to
00:37:14.180 college
00:37:14.440 campus
00:37:14.740 and
00:37:14.960 we
00:37:15.120 stand
00:37:25.620 we
00:37:25.720 invite
00:37:25.980 you
00:37:26.100 to
00:37:26.200 the
00:37:26.380 front
00:37:26.680 of
00:37:26.920 the
00:37:27.060 line
00:37:27.440 and
00:37:27.980 we
00:37:28.120 hand
00:37:28.420 you
00:37:28.540 a
00:37:28.640 microphone
00:37:28.940 cameras
00:37:29.480 rolling
00:37:29.840 and
00:37:30.060 we
00:37:30.180 say
00:37:30.360 go ahead
00:37:31.580 take
00:37:31.800 your
00:37:31.900 best
00:37:32.040 shot
00:37:32.340 on
00:37:34.020 the
00:37:34.180 left
00:37:34.400 they
00:37:34.600 would
00:37:34.820 never
00:37:35.280 do
00:37:35.520 that
00:37:35.720 ever
00:37:36.220 Dylan
00:37:37.000 Mulvaney
00:37:37.380 would
00:37:37.660 never
00:37:38.160 ever
00:37:38.600 even
00:37:39.340 consider
00:37:39.960 doing
00:37:40.280 that
00:37:40.540 so
00:37:43.860 we
00:37:43.980 thought
00:37:44.120 about
00:37:44.320 that
00:37:44.560 we
00:37:44.760 thought
00:37:45.460 well
00:37:45.600 maybe
00:37:45.820 counter
00:37:46.100 program
00:37:46.420 would
00:37:46.540 be
00:37:46.580 kind
00:37:46.680 of
00:37:46.740 funny
00:37:46.920 and
00:37:47.900 we
00:37:48.460 ultimately
00:37:49.000 decided
00:37:49.480 not
00:37:49.840 to
00:37:50.020 do
00:37:50.180 it
00:37:50.780 at
00:37:50.880 all
00:37:51.040 because
00:37:51.320 we
00:37:51.740 heard
00:37:52.160 behind
00:37:55.620 no
00:37:55.780 buzz
00:37:56.280 surrounding
00:37:56.920 Mulvaney's
00:37:57.460 talk
00:37:57.740 at all
00:37:58.160 nobody
00:37:58.600 was
00:37:58.960 interested
00:37:59.440 and
00:38:00.280 we
00:38:00.400 concluded
00:38:00.780 that
00:38:01.140 if I
00:38:02.460 show up
00:38:02.860 it would
00:38:03.020 actually
00:38:03.200 give more
00:38:03.720 buzz
00:38:04.080 to him
00:38:04.800 and
00:38:05.580 so
00:38:05.740 it's
00:38:05.880 better
00:38:06.100 to
00:38:06.260 let
00:38:06.420 him
00:38:06.580 go
00:38:06.880 and
00:38:07.060 just
00:38:07.220 fizzle
00:38:07.600 out
00:38:07.920 than
00:38:08.880 to
00:38:09.040 show
00:38:09.200 up
00:38:09.360 and
00:38:09.480 create
00:38:09.920 buzz
00:38:10.280 and
00:38:10.400 excitement
00:38:10.800 where
00:38:12.520 there
00:38:12.680 wasn't
00:38:12.980 any
00:38:13.180 to
00:38:13.340 begin
00:38:13.580 with
00:38:13.840 and
00:38:14.000 so
00:38:14.320 looking
00:38:14.760 at
00:38:14.900 this
00:38:15.040 turnout
00:38:15.320 I
00:38:15.640 think
00:38:15.800 we
00:38:15.900 made
00:38:16.060 the
00:38:16.160 right
00:38:16.320 call
00:38:16.540 because
00:38:16.800 this
00:38:17.020 is
00:38:17.160 embarrassing
00:38:17.660 like
00:38:18.620 this
00:38:18.780 is
00:38:18.880 the
00:38:18.960 kind
00:38:19.080 of
00:38:19.180 crowd
00:38:19.440 that
00:38:19.580 I
00:38:19.740 would
00:38:19.880 pull
00:38:20.160 five
00:38:20.520 years
00:38:20.740 ago
00:38:20.940 before
00:38:21.140 I
00:38:21.260 even
00:38:21.380 had
00:38:21.500 a
00:38:21.600 podcast
00:38:22.120 like
00:38:23.940 back
00:38:24.240 when
00:38:24.380 the
00:38:24.540 only
00:38:24.660 room
00:38:24.860 I
00:38:25.000 could
00:38:25.120 fill
00:38:25.320 would
00:38:25.420 be
00:38:25.480 at
00:38:25.580 a
00:38:25.660 homeschooling
00:38:26.860 conference
00:38:27.240 and
00:38:27.980 this
00:38:28.120 is
00:38:28.200 the
00:38:28.300 situation
00:38:28.660 for
00:38:28.840 Dylan
00:38:29.100 Mulvaney
00:38:29.440 now
00:38:30.000 in spite
00:38:30.760 of
00:38:31.540 the
00:38:31.700 relentless
00:38:32.300 media
00:38:32.940 hype
00:38:33.340 I
00:38:34.460 mean
00:38:34.580 he
00:38:34.680 was
00:38:34.820 just
00:38:35.020 on
00:38:35.200 the
00:38:35.340 cover
00:38:35.560 of
00:38:35.760 Forbes
00:38:36.180 okay
00:38:36.660 and
00:38:37.620 this
00:38:38.540 is
00:38:38.700 the
00:38:38.840 turnout
00:38:39.080 and
00:38:39.280 it
00:38:39.400 goes
00:38:39.600 to
00:38:39.760 show
00:38:40.000 you
00:38:40.220 there's
00:38:41.700 a
00:38:41.780 reason
00:38:41.960 of
00:38:42.080 bringing
00:38:42.240 this
00:38:42.420 up
00:38:42.560 and
00:38:42.640 it
00:38:42.720 isn't
00:38:42.900 just
00:38:43.100 to
00:38:43.240 gloat
00:38:43.620 about
00:38:44.260 it
00:38:44.580 well
00:38:45.400 it
00:38:45.480 is
00:38:45.580 to
00:38:45.680 gloat
00:38:45.900 I
00:38:46.020 mean
00:38:46.100 that's
00:38:46.260 mainly
00:38:46.520 what
00:38:46.740 it
00:38:46.840 is
00:38:47.000 I'm
00:38:47.140 just
00:38:47.280 laughing
00:38:47.740 haha
00:38:49.020 you're
00:38:49.520 a
00:38:49.620 loser
00:38:49.820 like
00:38:50.060 that's
00:38:50.340 mainly
00:38:50.640 what
00:38:50.800 I'm
00:38:50.900 doing
00:38:51.040 here
00:38:51.260 because
00:38:51.840 it's
00:38:51.940 a
00:38:52.020 lot
00:38:52.120 of
00:38:52.200 fun
00:38:52.380 but
00:38:53.160 if
00:38:54.280 you
00:38:54.360 remember
00:38:54.700 back
00:38:54.980 to
00:38:55.100 the
00:38:55.200 Bud
00:38:55.360 Light
00:38:55.540 days
00:38:55.940 and
00:38:56.580 before
00:38:58.480 that
00:38:58.920 when
00:38:59.460 Mulvaney
00:38:59.780 was
00:38:59.980 first
00:39:00.240 coming
00:39:00.480 on
00:39:00.660 the
00:39:00.780 scene
00:39:01.060 and
00:39:02.340 I
00:39:02.920 was
00:39:03.080 a
00:39:03.180 pretty
00:39:03.340 relentless
00:39:03.760 critic
00:39:04.120 of
00:39:04.320 his
00:39:04.540 as
00:39:04.820 you
00:39:04.920 recall
00:39:05.260 and
00:39:06.200 at
00:39:06.300 the
00:39:06.420 time
00:39:06.720 people
00:39:07.020 on
00:39:07.240 the
00:39:07.360 right
00:39:07.600 accused
00:39:09.560 me
00:39:09.880 of
00:39:10.220 helping
00:39:10.720 Mulvaney
00:39:11.120 by
00:39:11.360 making
00:39:11.680 him
00:39:11.860 famous
00:39:12.220 and
00:39:13.880 that
00:39:15.700 was
00:39:16.000 the
00:39:16.680 accusation
00:39:17.280 but
00:39:18.720 of
00:39:18.920 course
00:39:19.020 it
00:39:19.140 was
00:39:19.240 and
00:39:19.500 as
00:39:19.680 I
00:39:19.780 tried
00:39:19.960 to
00:39:20.060 explain
00:39:20.240 at
00:39:20.340 the
00:39:20.400 time
00:39:20.560 it
00:39:21.620 was
00:39:21.740 never
00:39:21.920 about
00:39:22.140 making
00:39:22.400 him
00:39:22.560 famous
00:39:22.960 the
00:39:23.500 corporate
00:39:23.920 media
00:39:24.380 and
00:39:24.740 Hollywood
00:39:25.140 had
00:39:25.420 already
00:39:25.740 selected
00:39:26.440 him
00:39:26.860 to
00:39:27.560 be
00:39:27.760 famous
00:39:28.200 nothing
00:39:29.000 I
00:39:29.160 can
00:39:29.260 do
00:39:29.360 about
00:39:29.580 it
00:39:29.720 that
00:39:31.980 decision
00:39:32.580 has
00:39:32.780 been
00:39:32.920 made
00:39:33.340 so
00:39:34.840 the
00:39:35.040 system
00:39:35.480 they
00:39:35.880 will
00:39:36.080 select
00:39:36.480 certain
00:39:36.760 people
00:39:37.140 and
00:39:38.300 they'll
00:39:38.440 come
00:39:38.580 along
00:39:38.860 and
00:39:38.960 they'll
00:39:39.060 say
00:39:39.280 you're
00:39:40.160 our
00:39:40.300 person
00:39:40.600 like
00:39:41.320 you're
00:39:41.640 our
00:39:41.920 mascot
00:39:42.540 for
00:39:43.140 whatever
00:39:43.580 it is
00:39:44.120 that
00:39:44.240 you're
00:39:44.380 supposed
00:39:44.580 to
00:39:44.760 represent
00:39:45.060 and
00:39:46.060 when
00:39:46.280 they
00:39:46.400 decide
00:39:46.720 that
00:39:46.900 like
00:39:47.080 they
00:39:47.320 can
00:39:47.460 make
00:39:47.640 anyone
00:39:48.460 famous
00:39:48.800 if
00:39:48.940 they
00:39:49.060 just
00:39:49.240 decide
00:39:49.660 all
00:39:49.800 they
00:39:49.880 can
00:39:49.960 do
00:39:50.020 is
00:39:50.080 give
00:39:50.260 you
00:39:50.320 a
00:39:50.400 lot
00:39:50.480 of
00:39:50.580 coverage
00:39:50.880 and
00:39:51.080 talk
00:39:51.600 about
00:39:51.840 you
00:39:52.040 and
00:39:52.240 you're
00:39:52.840 famous
00:39:53.120 like
00:39:53.320 whether
00:39:53.460 people
00:39:53.680 like
00:39:53.960 it
00:39:54.040 or
00:39:54.140 not
00:39:54.360 they
00:39:54.560 know
00:39:54.760 about
00:39:54.980 you
00:39:55.100 now
00:39:55.360 look
00:39:57.520 what
00:39:57.640 they
00:39:57.720 did
00:39:57.820 with
00:39:57.960 Stacey
00:39:58.340 Abrams
00:39:58.800 for
00:39:58.980 example
00:39:59.320 she
00:39:59.860 is
00:40:00.220 essentially
00:40:01.320 a
00:40:01.560 household
00:40:01.920 name
00:40:02.380 and
00:40:02.620 yet
00:40:02.840 she's
00:40:03.400 never
00:40:03.600 won
00:40:03.820 anything
00:40:04.200 she's
00:40:04.920 never
00:40:05.060 done
00:40:05.440 anything
00:40:05.920 she has
00:40:07.180 no
00:40:07.460 charisma
00:40:07.840 she has
00:40:08.200 no
00:40:08.420 talent
00:40:08.720 to
00:40:08.880 speak
00:40:09.100 of
00:40:09.360 but
00:40:10.420 the
00:40:10.560 corporate
00:40:10.780 media
00:40:11.040 in
00:40:11.200 Hollywood
00:40:11.460 the
00:40:11.700 system
00:40:12.020 they
00:40:12.240 engineered
00:40:12.860 her
00:40:13.160 fame
00:40:13.480 and
00:40:15.140 they
00:40:15.260 decided
00:40:15.600 to do
00:40:15.880 the
00:40:16.000 same
00:40:16.160 thing
00:40:16.340 with
00:40:16.520 Mulvaney
00:40:16.880 they
00:40:17.060 wanted
00:40:17.220 to
00:40:17.400 make
00:40:17.620 him
00:40:17.760 a
00:40:17.940 mascot
00:40:18.380 of
00:40:18.840 transgenderism
00:40:19.740 to
00:40:19.880 help
00:40:20.000 promote
00:40:20.360 it
00:40:20.500 to
00:40:20.620 the
00:40:20.760 public
00:40:21.140 and
00:40:22.580 especially
00:40:22.940 to
00:40:23.200 kids
00:40:23.600 and
00:40:25.700 that's
00:40:25.900 what
00:40:26.000 made
00:40:26.200 it
00:40:26.480 dangerous
00:40:27.740 like
00:40:29.500 when
00:40:29.700 you
00:40:29.820 see
00:40:30.140 what
00:40:30.360 they're
00:40:30.540 doing
00:40:30.900 and
00:40:31.540 why
00:40:31.820 they're
00:40:32.040 doing
00:40:32.300 it
00:40:32.540 that's
00:40:33.320 when
00:40:33.400 you
00:40:33.480 realize
00:40:33.700 okay
00:40:33.860 this
00:40:34.120 person
00:40:34.440 is
00:40:34.680 dangerous
00:40:35.380 because
00:40:37.300 of how
00:40:37.600 the
00:40:37.800 system
00:40:38.060 wants
00:40:38.340 to
00:40:38.540 use
00:40:38.840 him
00:40:39.080 and
00:40:41.260 so
00:40:41.500 what
00:40:41.720 I
00:40:41.860 wanted
00:40:42.100 to
00:40:42.240 do
00:40:42.360 and
00:40:42.460 what
00:40:42.580 some
00:40:42.740 of
00:40:42.840 us
00:40:42.960 on
00:40:43.080 the
00:40:43.160 right
00:40:43.320 wanted
00:40:43.540 to
00:40:43.700 do
00:40:43.900 was
00:40:44.880 counteract
00:40:45.600 that
00:40:45.860 move
00:40:46.220 by
00:40:47.140 making
00:40:47.460 sure
00:40:47.900 that
00:40:48.140 Mulvaney's
00:40:50.000 viewed
00:40:50.300 as
00:40:50.700 it
00:40:50.840 is
00:40:51.120 which
00:40:51.360 is
00:40:51.560 toxic
00:40:52.200 ridiculous
00:40:53.260 embarrassing
00:40:54.560 and
00:40:55.660 creepy
00:40:56.020 that's
00:40:57.720 what
00:40:57.800 we
00:40:57.900 decided
00:40:58.240 okay
00:40:59.600 you
00:40:59.780 you
00:41:00.100 selected
00:41:00.440 this
00:41:00.680 guy
00:41:00.860 he's
00:41:01.100 going
00:41:01.180 to
00:41:01.200 be
00:41:01.300 your
00:41:01.420 mascot
00:41:01.700 to
00:41:01.900 push
00:41:02.060 transgenderism
00:41:02.900 you
00:41:04.880 want
00:41:05.020 to
00:41:05.100 make
00:41:05.280 him
00:41:05.480 a
00:41:05.780 mainstream
00:41:06.320 you
00:41:07.020 know
00:41:07.340 figure
00:41:08.060 a
00:41:10.820 quote
00:41:11.660 unquote
00:41:11.880 unproblematic
00:41:12.960 mainstream
00:41:13.460 figure
00:41:13.800 and
00:41:14.880 some
00:41:15.060 of
00:41:15.180 us
00:41:15.300 said
00:41:15.520 no
00:41:17.480 we're
00:41:18.020 not
00:41:18.100 going
00:41:18.200 to
00:41:18.220 let
00:41:18.280 you
00:41:18.360 do
00:41:18.460 that
00:41:18.680 you
00:41:20.320 selected
00:41:21.440 him
00:41:21.680 for
00:41:21.840 this
00:41:22.120 and
00:41:22.460 so
00:41:22.880 now
00:41:23.440 we're
00:41:23.800 going
00:41:23.920 to
00:41:24.000 go
00:41:24.300 and
00:41:25.300 we're
00:41:25.920 going
00:41:26.140 to
00:41:26.240 go
00:41:26.360 on
00:41:26.500 the
00:41:26.600 attack
00:41:26.960 and
00:41:27.960 it's
00:41:28.120 just
00:41:28.280 the
00:41:28.460 way
00:41:28.600 that
00:41:28.740 it's
00:41:28.880 going
00:41:29.000 to
00:41:29.060 be
00:41:29.240 and
00:41:30.900 I
00:41:31.060 think
00:41:31.240 our
00:41:31.380 effort
00:41:31.580 was
00:41:31.780 obviously
00:41:32.320 successful
00:41:32.880 because
00:41:33.160 now
00:41:33.440 he
00:41:33.580 is
00:41:33.740 radioactive
00:41:34.440 to
00:41:35.020 corporate
00:41:35.340 brands
00:41:35.820 and
00:41:36.460 he
00:41:36.580 can't
00:41:36.800 draw
00:41:36.960 a
00:41:37.100 crowd
00:41:37.300 on
00:41:37.480 campus
00:41:37.820 so
00:41:39.260 total
00:41:41.380 victory
00:41:41.780 and
00:41:43.200 it's
00:41:43.360 the
00:41:43.460 kind
00:41:43.600 of
00:41:43.700 victory
00:41:43.900 that
00:41:44.100 does
00:41:44.300 matter
00:41:44.600 and
00:41:45.960 if
00:41:46.060 you're
00:41:46.180 on
00:41:46.300 the
00:41:46.400 right
00:41:46.560 you
00:41:46.700 still
00:41:46.920 can't
00:41:47.240 see
00:41:47.340 that
00:41:47.620 well
00:41:49.600 then
00:41:49.800 you're
00:41:50.000 basically
00:41:50.480 useless
00:41:50.860 at this
00:41:51.240 point
00:41:51.480 so
00:41:53.000 great
00:41:54.280 stuff
00:41:54.540 let's
00:41:55.620 get to
00:41:55.860 what's
00:41:56.080 wrong
00:41:56.260 well
00:42:00.840 if you
00:42:01.100 haven't
00:42:01.300 heard
00:42:01.480 my wife
00:42:02.140 surprised
00:42:03.060 me
00:42:03.380 with
00:42:03.760 yet
00:42:04.580 another
00:42:04.860 dog
00:42:05.320 in my
00:42:06.260 house
00:42:06.580 and
00:42:07.420 I'm
00:42:07.640 really
00:42:08.260 excited
00:42:08.640 about
00:42:08.900 it
00:42:09.260 excited
00:42:10.280 to have
00:42:10.560 a new
00:42:10.820 dog
00:42:11.180 and
00:42:12.600 I'm
00:42:12.720 also
00:42:12.940 excited
00:42:13.220 to give
00:42:13.520 this
00:42:13.740 dog
00:42:14.100 rough
00:42:14.580 greens
00:42:14.920 as
00:42:15.120 well
00:42:15.500 maybe
00:42:15.860 I'll
00:42:15.960 start
00:42:16.100 posting
00:42:16.420 videos
00:42:16.900 of

00:42:19.680 in
00:42:19.780 our
00:42:19.880 family
00:42:20.180 and
00:42:20.300 the
00:42:20.380 loser
00:42:20.580 has
00:42:20.820 to
00:42:20.940 go
00:42:21.080 that's
00:42:21.320 actually
00:42:21.600 a good
00:42:21.780 idea
00:42:22.020 we
00:42:22.200 could
00:42:22.320 do
00:42:22.400 that

00:42:29.680 I
00:42:29.820 had
00:42:29.940 no idea
00:42:30.320 that

00:42:32.440 little
00:42:32.660 nutritional
00:42:33.060 value

00:43:19.680 a few
00:43:19.940 comments
00:43:20.380 on this
00:43:20.920 dink
00:43:21.520 situation
00:43:22.360 one says
00:43:23.580 I don't
00:43:23.800 understand
00:43:24.140 the judgment
00:43:24.580 towards those
00:43:25.320 that choose
00:43:25.860 either path
00:43:26.620 it's for
00:43:26.940 each individual
00:43:27.440 to decide
00:43:27.940 for themselves
00:43:28.360 what's best
00:43:28.800 for them
00:43:29.120 neither
00:43:29.840 those with
00:43:30.260 children
00:43:30.540 or the
00:43:30.900 childless
00:43:31.260 should hate
00:43:31.620 on their
00:43:31.920 opposites
00:43:32.440 we're all
00:43:32.880 just living
00:43:33.360 the life
00:43:33.680 that's right
00:43:34.040 for ourselves
00:43:34.600 another
00:43:35.540 comment says
00:43:36.140 people can't
00:43:36.760 fathom the
00:43:37.140 possibility
00:43:37.540 of somebody
00:43:38.000 wanting to
00:43:38.560 choose
00:43:38.800 childless
00:43:39.320 freedom
00:43:39.740 and financial
00:43:40.820 stability
00:43:41.280 instead of
00:43:41.780 having a
00:43:42.160 child
00:43:42.480 not everything
00:43:43.260 revolves around
00:43:43.860 consumerism
00:43:44.560 people feed
00:43:45.460 the consumerism
00:43:46.200 machines
00:43:46.780 significantly more
00:43:47.740 as a parent
00:43:48.420 than as a
00:43:48.880 non-parent
00:43:49.340 and it's not
00:43:49.760 even close
00:43:50.320 another comment
00:43:53.220 says it's
00:43:53.540 great
00:43:53.780 we're self
00:43:54.160 sufficient
00:43:54.500 and we
00:43:55.080 don't put
00:43:55.440 our

00:43:57.500 we contribute
00:43:58.080 to society

00:43:59.680 little away
00:44:00.300 y'all need
00:44:01.700 us
00:44:02.040 you're just
00:44:03.360 jealous because
00:44:03.920 you pursued
00:44:04.460 the meat
00:44:04.900 flesh dance
00:44:05.620 and now
00:44:06.000 have to be
00:44:06.400 responsible
00:44:06.860 for it
00:44:07.460 until
00:44:07.880 it
00:44:08.140 graduates
00:44:08.880 it
00:44:09.900 um
00:44:11.980 okay
00:44:13.220 by the way
00:44:14.160 if you're
00:44:14.400 a childless
00:44:14.820 by choice
00:44:15.200 person
00:44:15.540 and you
00:44:15.920 refer to
00:44:16.380 kids
00:44:16.680 as it
00:44:17.220 you're not
00:44:17.900 doing yourself
00:44:18.300 any favors
00:44:18.740 like you
00:44:19.900 you literally

00:44:21.600 a cartoon
00:44:22.080 villain
00:44:22.560 it
00:44:23.540 that thing
00:44:25.120 you mean
00:44:26.700 a child
00:44:27.120 a human
00:44:27.580 child
00:44:28.120 what the
00:44:29.680 hell
00:44:29.820 are you
00:44:30.220 really that
00:44:30.800 evil
00:44:31.220 that that's
00:44:31.780 how you
00:44:32.180 is that
00:44:32.940 really how
00:44:33.460 you
00:44:33.760 see
00:44:35.120 children
00:44:35.680 again
00:44:37.100 you're not
00:44:37.300 doing
00:44:37.420 yourself
00:44:37.640 any favors
00:44:38.320 you just
00:44:39.500 come off
00:44:39.740 like an
00:44:40.000 absolute
00:44:40.400 you come
00:44:40.900 off like
00:44:41.160 absolute
00:44:41.580 scum
00:44:42.280 when you
00:44:42.660 say things
00:44:43.060 like that
00:44:43.540 whether you
00:44:45.200 are absolute
00:44:45.660 scum
00:44:45.920 or not
00:44:46.280 I don't
00:44:47.240 know
00:44:47.460 but you
00:44:48.080 certainly
00:44:48.380 have
00:44:48.980 have
00:44:50.600 made it
00:44:52.320 seem that
00:44:52.580 way
00:44:52.740 a few
00:44:53.400 things
00:44:53.620 first of
00:44:54.000 all
00:44:54.320 I pass
00:44:57.340 judgment
00:44:57.720 on the
00:44:58.220 childless
00:44:58.640 by choice
00:44:59.100 people
00:44:59.460 when
00:45:00.800 when they
00:45:01.820 take the
00:45:02.940 time to
00:45:03.460 announce
00:45:03.920 their choice
00:45:04.940 to the
00:45:05.280 world
00:45:05.580 and they
00:45:06.520 promote
00:45:07.200 its
00:45:08.540 alleged
00:45:08.880 benefits
00:45:09.440 and
00:45:10.940 this is
00:45:11.700 the way
00:45:11.960 that it
00:45:12.200 works
00:45:12.460 if you
00:45:12.800 are a
00:45:13.160 sentient
00:45:13.660 self-aware
00:45:14.440 creature
00:45:14.920 that once
00:45:16.800 someone puts
00:45:17.360 a fact
00:45:17.960 in front
00:45:18.380 of you
00:45:18.620 once they
00:45:19.060 introduce
00:45:19.640 something
00:45:20.260 to you
00:45:20.840 you are
00:45:21.600 going to
00:45:22.040 form a
00:45:22.540 perspective
00:45:23.100 on it
00:45:23.720 because we
00:45:25.540 all have a
00:45:25.900 perspective
00:45:26.280 on everything
00:45:27.040 even if
00:45:28.640 it's
00:45:28.760 something
00:45:29.080 totally
00:45:29.840 innocuous
00:45:30.480 like if
00:45:31.420 you came
00:45:31.720 up to
00:45:31.940 me and
00:45:32.160 said I
00:45:32.500 had a
00:45:32.740 grilled
00:45:32.920 cheese
00:45:33.120 sandwich
00:45:33.460 yesterday
00:45:33.860 for lunch
00:45:34.320 doesn't
00:45:35.940 matter
00:45:36.280 but like
00:45:36.680 you have
00:45:37.120 told me
00:45:38.020 this
00:45:38.360 and so
00:45:38.780 now I'm
00:45:39.220 gonna have
00:45:39.840 I will
00:45:40.940 hear it
00:45:41.520 and I'll
00:45:41.880 receive that
00:45:42.460 information
00:45:42.940 and being
00:45:44.780 that I
00:45:45.040 have a
00:45:45.360 subjective
00:45:45.860 point of
00:45:47.560 view on
00:45:47.900 the world
00:45:48.240 I'll have
00:45:48.680 a point of
00:45:49.060 view about
00:45:49.420 that
00:45:49.620 and it
00:45:49.800 might be
00:45:50.060 like
00:45:50.320 oh
00:45:50.500 grilled
00:45:50.740 cheese
00:45:51.100 you know
00:45:53.000 what kind
00:45:53.480 of lunch
00:45:54.120 is that
00:45:54.420 for a
00:45:54.680 grown up
00:45:54.940 like I
00:45:55.160 might have
00:45:55.420 a thought
00:45:55.680 like that
00:45:56.080 if you
00:45:56.880 don't want
00:45:57.400 me to
00:45:57.600 have any
00:45:57.940 thoughts
00:45:58.180 like that
00:45:58.560 don't
00:45:59.260 tell me
00:45:59.880 that
00:46:00.020 you didn't
00:46:00.260 need to
00:46:00.520 tell me
00:46:00.720 that
00:46:00.860 but you
00:46:01.080 did
00:46:01.400 so when
00:46:03.860 you say
00:46:04.320 I've
00:46:06.440 decided not
00:46:06.960 to have
00:46:07.260 kids
00:46:07.680 for these
00:46:08.220 reasons
00:46:08.660 well I
00:46:09.280 literally
00:46:09.700 cannot
00:46:10.220 help
00:46:10.820 but have
00:46:11.500 a certain
00:46:12.020 view
00:46:12.580 on this
00:46:13.620 thing
00:46:13.920 you've
00:46:14.200 told me
00:46:14.620 about
00:46:14.880 I am
00:46:15.260 a human
00:46:15.620 being
00:46:15.920 not a
00:46:16.260 rock
00:46:16.660 not an
00:46:17.400 inanimate
00:46:17.840 object
00:46:18.440 if you
00:46:19.800 don't
00:46:19.940 want me
00:46:20.180 to have
00:46:20.380 a point
00:46:20.760 of view
00:46:21.140 about your
00:46:21.620 lifestyle
00:46:21.960 choices
00:46:22.460 don't
00:46:25.040 tell me
00:46:25.540 about your
00:46:26.000 lifestyle
00:46:26.340 choices
00:46:26.860 and the
00:46:28.260 second thing
00:46:28.620 is we
00:46:29.140 see in
00:46:29.380 these comments
00:46:29.780 again as
00:46:30.220 always the
00:46:30.740 false choice
00:46:31.500 right
00:46:31.980 people choose
00:46:33.080 financial stability
00:46:34.080 instead of
00:46:34.900 having kids
00:46:35.400 that is a
00:46:36.440 false choice
00:46:37.060 okay I
00:46:39.320 have both
00:46:39.860 I am more
00:46:41.520 financially stable
00:46:42.420 than everyone in
00:46:43.460 those videos
00:46:44.100 that we just
00:46:44.800 played
00:46:45.100 and I have
00:46:46.700 six kids
00:46:47.180 on a single
00:46:48.220 income
00:46:48.460 so you can
00:46:49.340 have both
00:46:49.820 you just can
00:46:52.480 you can be
00:46:52.880 financially stable
00:46:53.520 with kids
00:46:53.920 and you can
00:46:54.320 be financially
00:46:54.780 unstable
00:46:55.340 without them
00:46:55.900 and of
00:46:59.740 course anytime
00:47:00.080 someone says
00:47:00.560 that and
00:47:00.880 then I say
00:47:01.200 well that's
00:47:01.460 not my
00:47:01.740 experience
00:47:02.100 then I'm
00:47:02.480 always
00:47:02.620 well but
00:47:02.940 your experience
00:47:03.440 is different
00:47:04.220 it's totally
00:47:04.840 different
00:47:05.080 no it's not
00:47:07.060 I'm not
00:47:07.660 special
00:47:08.120 my experience
00:47:09.400 would be
00:47:09.560 different if I
00:47:09.980 was born a
00:47:10.500 billionaire or
00:47:11.000 something
00:47:11.260 but I wasn't
00:47:12.340 just a
00:47:12.580 normal person
00:47:13.140 found my
00:47:15.020 own way in
00:47:15.440 life
00:47:16.080 just like
00:47:18.260 anyone else
00:47:18.700 can
00:47:18.920 but I
00:47:21.200 never viewed
00:47:21.840 it as a
00:47:22.720 choice
00:47:23.240 even when we
00:47:24.900 first started
00:47:25.300 having kids
00:47:25.880 and we were
00:47:26.200 broke
00:47:26.540 we never
00:47:29.200 said to
00:47:29.580 ourselves
00:47:30.100 well
00:47:30.640 you know
00:47:32.660 we
00:47:34.800 we
00:47:35.040 we decided
00:47:36.640 that we're
00:47:37.200 gonna
00:47:37.360 let's have
00:47:38.520 kids rather
00:47:39.000 than be
00:47:39.340 financially
00:47:39.740 stable
00:47:40.160 you know
00:47:41.500 we never
00:47:41.760 sat down
00:47:42.300 and like
00:47:43.160 looked at
00:47:43.580 a you know
00:47:44.920 and charted
00:47:45.820 this out
00:47:46.280 and said
00:47:47.060 well
00:47:47.300 we can go
00:47:48.700 this path
00:47:49.200 of financial
00:47:49.620 stability
00:47:50.060 or we can
00:47:50.980 have kids
00:47:51.440 you know
00:47:52.820 we did
00:47:53.140 we said
00:47:53.720 how can
00:47:55.140 we do
00:47:55.400 both
00:47:55.680 we want
00:47:56.740 to do
00:47:56.940 both
00:47:57.200 we want
00:47:58.720 to have
00:47:58.900 a family
00:47:59.320 and we
00:47:59.660 also want
00:48:00.020 to be
00:48:00.180 financially
00:48:00.540 stable
00:48:01.020 how can
00:48:02.380 we achieve
00:48:02.800 that
00:48:03.140 and
00:48:05.120 and we
00:48:05.820 did
00:48:06.020 now
00:48:07.400 I think
00:48:10.180 what you
00:48:10.440 want to
00:48:10.800 say
00:48:11.000 or what
00:48:11.260 you should
00:48:11.580 be saying
00:48:12.020 is that
00:48:12.960 financial
00:48:13.500 instability
00:48:14.260 becomes a
00:48:15.960 more
00:48:16.180 burdensome
00:48:17.000 thing
00:48:17.460 a more
00:48:17.880 significant
00:48:18.380 problem
00:48:18.920 if you
00:48:19.780 have
00:48:20.000 kids
00:48:20.360 there's
00:48:20.640 more
00:48:20.880 on the
00:48:21.260 line
00:48:21.580 and that's
00:48:21.900 true
00:48:22.200 but that's
00:48:23.740 always the way
00:48:24.300 it goes
00:48:24.580 if you live
00:48:25.140 a high
00:48:25.600 impact
00:48:26.140 life
00:48:26.620 failure
00:48:27.760 will hurt
00:48:28.360 more
00:48:28.700 if you do
00:48:29.180 significant
00:48:29.700 things
00:48:30.040 you also
00:48:30.340 take
00:48:30.580 significant
00:48:31.060 risks
00:48:31.520 like if
00:48:33.400 you fall
00:48:33.760 off a
00:48:34.120 mountain
00:48:34.360 when you're
00:48:34.740 only two
00:48:35.160 feet off
00:48:35.740 the ground
00:48:36.280 it's not
00:48:36.920 gonna hurt
00:48:37.100 very much
00:48:37.440 if you're
00:48:38.140 200 feet
00:48:39.020 off the
00:48:39.320 ground
00:48:39.600 it's gonna
00:48:40.260 hurt a lot
00:48:40.600 more
00:48:40.820 so is that
00:48:43.400 an argument
00:48:43.780 for never
00:48:44.240 climbing the
00:48:44.920 mountain
00:48:45.140 is that
00:48:47.120 how you
00:48:47.320 want to
00:48:47.580 live
00:48:47.840 like never
00:48:49.100 going above
00:48:49.640 sea level
00:48:50.240 not me
00:48:52.300 and third
00:48:54.640 to the guy
00:48:54.960 who said
00:48:55.260 that
00:48:55.480 you know
00:48:57.260 dinks
00:48:57.600 contribute to
00:48:58.260 society
00:48:58.700 and that
00:48:58.980 we need
00:48:59.460 you
00:48:59.800 no
00:49:01.820 I mean
00:49:03.180 by definition
00:49:03.840 we don't
00:49:04.340 need you
00:49:04.700 you have
00:49:06.120 made yourself
00:49:06.940 disposable
00:49:07.720 from a
00:49:08.360 civilizational
00:49:09.100 standpoint
00:49:09.800 the future
00:49:12.080 of civilization
00:49:12.680 rests entirely
00:49:13.820 on the
00:49:14.540 shoulders
00:49:14.860 of those
00:49:15.460 of us
00:49:15.740 who have
00:49:15.940 chosen
00:49:16.300 to have
00:49:16.620 families
00:49:17.020 without us
00:49:19.240 civilization
00:49:19.780 ends
00:49:20.660 without you
00:49:22.000 it hums
00:49:22.740 along
00:49:23.020 perfectly
00:49:23.400 fine
00:49:23.740 you have
00:49:25.740 chosen to
00:49:26.260 live a
00:49:26.460 life of
00:49:26.880 almost no
00:49:27.920 long-term
00:49:28.720 consequence
00:49:29.300 at all
00:49:30.200 that's just
00:49:31.640 the fact
00:49:31.940 of the
00:49:32.120 matter
00:49:32.380 unless you
00:49:33.820 go and cure
00:49:34.220 cancer
00:49:34.600 or do
00:49:34.800 something
00:49:35.020 really
00:49:35.220 significant
00:49:35.560 like that
00:49:36.060 most likely
00:49:37.460 you've chosen
00:49:38.280 to live
00:49:38.580 in a way
00:49:38.920 where you'll
00:49:39.340 leave no
00:49:39.700 legacy
00:49:40.020 behind
00:49:40.520 and your
00:49:42.100 impact
00:49:42.580 and memory
00:49:43.140 will fizzle
00:49:43.720 out
00:49:44.020 and be
00:49:44.560 totally
00:49:45.040 erased
00:49:45.680 within
00:49:46.520 like
00:49:47.000 days
00:49:48.880 of you
00:49:49.320 dying
00:49:49.700 and I
00:49:51.100 don't say
00:49:51.440 that as an
00:49:51.820 insult
00:49:52.160 or to make
00:49:52.600 you feel
00:49:52.880 bad
00:49:53.120 I'm just
00:49:53.460 like
00:49:53.660 that's it
00:49:54.240 that's
00:49:54.560 the reality
00:49:55.160 people should
00:49:56.980 be honest
00:49:57.380 with you
00:49:57.700 about what
00:49:58.060 that means
00:49:58.620 and that's
00:50:00.620 it
00:50:00.900 so does
00:50:04.180 society
00:50:04.860 need
00:50:05.400 like
00:50:05.900 what kind
00:50:06.620 of
00:50:06.720 what kind
00:50:07.720 of a
00:50:07.920 ridiculously
00:50:08.400 stupid
00:50:09.000 thing
00:50:09.280 is that
00:50:09.540 to say
00:50:09.840 that society
00:50:10.880 needs
00:50:11.720 adults
00:50:12.360 who don't
00:50:13.000 have kids
00:50:13.660 no we
00:50:15.800 don't
00:50:16.560 we actually
00:50:17.440 don't
00:50:19.480 now
00:50:21.760 you as
00:50:22.300 an individual
00:50:22.820 you know
00:50:23.620 we're all
00:50:24.020 special snowflakes
00:50:24.980 in our own
00:50:25.340 individual way
00:50:26.100 right so
00:50:26.720 not
00:50:27.020 well that's
00:50:29.080 not really
00:50:29.340 true but
00:50:29.760 we all
00:50:30.620 certainly have
00:50:31.020 worth as
00:50:31.700 human beings
00:50:32.100 individually
00:50:32.680 but I mean
00:50:33.280 from a
00:50:33.620 civilizational
00:50:34.300 standpoint
00:50:34.980 yeah we
00:50:38.360 don't
00:50:38.600 we don't
00:50:39.080 really need
00:50:39.440 you
00:50:39.600 like
00:50:40.120 the whole
00:50:42.060 future of
00:50:42.900 the human
00:50:43.240 race you
00:50:43.600 understand
00:50:44.040 rests
00:50:45.000 completely
00:50:46.160 on the
00:50:46.840 shoulders
00:50:47.160 of those
00:50:49.020 of us
00:50:49.320 who are
00:50:49.580 doing the
00:50:49.960 work of
00:50:50.540 building
00:50:50.860 families
00:50:51.360 and continuing
00:50:52.200 that
00:50:53.800 ancestral
00:50:54.480 ancient
00:50:56.080 struggle
00:50:56.620 that we
00:50:57.760 talked about
00:50:58.180 at the
00:50:58.380 opening
00:50:58.620 and you
00:51:00.140 can choose
00:51:00.520 to be a
00:51:00.840 part of
00:51:01.140 that
00:51:01.400 or you
00:51:02.020 can choose
00:51:02.360 to bow
00:51:02.740 out
00:51:03.040 but if
00:51:04.160 you bow
00:51:04.480 out
00:51:04.820 then you
00:51:06.120 have made
00:51:06.600 yourself
00:51:07.140 from a
00:51:08.480 historical
00:51:08.940 perspective
00:51:09.580 basically
00:51:11.660 irrelevant
00:51:12.160 you know
00:51:13.500 there's no
00:51:13.740 question that
00:51:14.200 we are living
00:51:14.660 in a clown
00:51:15.340 world
00:51:15.740 and the
00:51:16.520 characters
00:51:16.960 in power
00:51:17.880 are straight
00:51:18.440 out of a
00:51:18.820 carnival
00:51:19.200 basic notions
00:51:20.120 of right
00:51:20.620 and wrong
00:51:21.120 justice
00:51:21.580 truth
00:51:22.060 and even
00:51:22.620 reality
00:51:22.960 itself
00:51:23.260 have been

00:52:29.740 1972
00:52:30.400 and here's
00:52:30.900 the text
00:52:31.300 of the
00:52:31.580 relevant
00:52:31.920 part of
00:52:32.360 the
00:52:32.440 legislation
00:52:32.900 which you
00:52:33.280 rarely see
00:52:33.660 mentioned
00:52:33.960 in any
00:52:34.320 of the
00:52:34.540 news
00:52:34.700 reports
00:52:34.980 discussing
00:52:35.460 the
00:52:35.640 law
00:52:35.780 but here
00:52:36.040 it is
00:52:36.280 quote
00:52:36.480 no person
00:52:37.520 in the
00:52:37.700 United
00:52:37.800 States
00:52:38.060 shall
00:52:38.340 on the
00:52:38.540 basis
00:52:38.740 of
00:52:38.880 sex
00:52:39.080 be
00:52:39.240 excluded
00:52:39.600 from
00:52:39.840 participation
00:52:40.260 and
00:52:40.560 be
00:52:40.720 denied
00:52:41.020 of
00:52:41.180 the
00:52:41.280 benefits
00:52:41.560 of
00:52:41.840 or
00:52:42.200 be
00:52:42.740 subjected
00:52:43.040 to
00:52:43.220 discrimination
00:52:43.660 under
00:52:43.960 any
00:52:44.180 education
00:52:44.740 program
00:52:45.100 or
00:52:45.240 activity
00:52:45.540 receiving
00:52:46.100 federal
00:52:46.580 financial
00:52:47.060 assistance
00:52:47.580 now when
00:52:48.860 that law
00:52:49.140 was passed
00:52:49.700 there were
00:52:50.540 some
00:52:50.760 organizations
00:52:51.220 and politicians
00:52:51.700 who raised
00:52:52.100 concerns
00:52:52.540 about it
00:52:52.820 the NCAA
00:52:53.200 was worried
00:52:53.780 that that
00:52:54.220 would lead
00:52:54.480 to cuts
00:52:54.940 in certain
00:52:55.660 men's
00:52:56.020 programs
00:52:56.480 and cost
00:52:57.480 a lot
00:52:58.020 of revenue
00:52:58.460 that was
00:52:59.500 not an
00:52:59.760 unreasonable
00:53:00.280 concern
00:53:00.740 a lot
00:53:01.000 of funding
00:53:01.300 had to be
00:53:01.680 redirected
00:53:02.260 to women's
00:53:02.620 sports
00:53:02.880 and it
00:53:03.120 had to
00:53:03.320 come
00:53:03.480 from
00:53:03.640 somewhere
00:53:03.960 meanwhile
00:53:04.940 some
00:53:05.220 legislators
00:53:05.560 felt
00:53:05.860 that the
00:53:06.180 federal
00:53:06.440 government
00:53:06.840 shouldn't
00:53:07.540 be in
00:53:07.740 the
00:53:07.800 business
00:53:08.000 of telling
00:53:08.320 schools
00:53:08.620 how to
00:53:08.860 operate
00:53:09.180 title
00:53:09.420 nine
00:53:09.720 you know
00:53:10.480 seems
00:53:10.880 simple
00:53:11.240 it's
00:53:11.440 basically
00:53:11.640 just
00:53:11.820 one
00:53:12.020 line
00:53:12.260 but
00:53:12.740 implementing
00:53:13.100 it
00:53:13.280 was
00:53:13.440 obviously
00:53:13.940 going
00:53:14.200 to be
00:53:14.360 complicated
00:53:14.760 and
00:53:15.460 indeed
00:53:15.680 there
00:53:15.920 have
00:53:16.160 been
00:53:16.340 many
00:53:16.600 decades
00:53:16.980 of
00:53:17.280 new
00:53:17.540 rules
00:53:17.900 and
00:53:18.020 amendments
00:53:18.340 and
00:53:18.720 court
00:53:19.420 cases
00:53:19.740 that have
00:53:20.000 cropped up
00:53:20.440 as the
00:53:20.660 federal
00:53:20.840 government
00:53:21.120 has sought
00:53:21.440 to clarify
00:53:21.940 the meaning
00:53:22.460 of the
00:53:22.800 law
00:53:23.000 but
00:53:24.360 what
00:53:26.120 nobody
00:53:26.580 believed
00:53:27.040 in 1972
00:53:27.680 is that
00:53:28.460 title
00:53:28.720 nine
00:53:28.940 extended
00:53:29.420 to
00:53:29.640 protections
00:53:30.060 to
00:53:30.340 what
00:53:30.460 are
00:53:30.540 now
00:53:30.720 commonly
00:53:31.020 called
00:53:31.300 transgender
00:53:31.900 athletes
00:53:32.640 not a
00:53:33.700 single
00:53:34.080 person
00:53:34.420 on the
00:53:34.700 planet
00:53:35.020 at the
00:53:35.640 time
00:53:35.860 thought
00:53:36.080 that
00:53:36.240 title
00:53:36.460 nine
00:53:36.740 would
00:53:37.420 allow
00:53:37.720 men
00:53:37.940 to put
00:53:38.200 on a
00:53:38.480 wig
00:53:38.820 and
00:53:39.340 compete
00:53:39.640 in
00:53:39.800 women's
00:53:40.120 sports
00:53:40.380 and
00:53:40.580 circumvent
00:53:41.080 the
00:53:41.220 entire
00:53:41.480 law
00:53:41.680 but
00:53:41.800 on
00:53:41.920 June
00:53:42.040 22
00:53:42.340 2021
00:53:42.800 the
00:53:43.480 Biden
00:53:43.760 administration's
00:53:44.980 department
00:53:45.200 of
00:53:45.300 education
00:53:45.600 decided
00:53:46.220 to
00:53:46.420 unilaterally
00:53:47.060 change
00:53:47.540 the
00:53:47.740 meaning
00:53:48.020 of
00:53:48.260 title
00:53:48.440 nine
00:53:48.680 they
00:53:49.660 didn't
00:53:49.780 propose
00:53:50.020 a new
00:53:50.220 law
00:53:50.580 they
00:53:51.540 didn't
00:53:51.640 get
00:53:51.760 one
00:53:51.920 passed
00:53:52.360 instead
00:53:52.740 the
00:53:53.000 Biden
00:53:53.180 administration
00:53:53.540 simply
00:53:53.880 declared
00:53:54.560 that
00:53:55.180 title
00:53:55.400 nine
00:53:55.620 prohibits
00:53:56.020 more
00:53:56.440 than
00:53:56.660 just
00:53:56.900 sex
00:53:57.160 discrimination
00:53:57.540 they
00:53:57.860 said
00:53:58.000 that
00:53:58.140 the
00:53:58.260 law
00:53:58.420 also
00:53:58.760 prohibits
00:53:59.100 discrimination
00:53:59.600 on
00:54:00.160 the
00:54:00.260 basis
00:54:00.480 of
00:54:00.660 gender
00:54:01.400 identity
00:54:02.000 and
00:54:02.880 sexual
00:54:03.260 orientation
00:54:03.900 now
00:54:05.080 that
00:54:05.200 was
00:54:05.340 inconsistent
00:54:05.740 with
00:54:06.040 multiple
00:54:06.420 previous
00:54:06.820 determinations
00:54:07.320 by the
00:54:07.660 department
00:54:07.820 of
00:54:08.540 education
00:54:08.960 it
00:54:09.160 also
00:54:09.340 flew
00:54:09.540 in
00:54:09.640 the
00:54:09.720 face
00:54:09.960 of
00:54:10.720 the
00:54:10.840 plain
00:54:11.160 meaning
00:54:11.480 of
00:54:11.680 the
00:54:11.800 law
00:54:12.040 as
00:54:12.200 well
00:54:12.340 as
00:54:12.480 common
00:54:12.740 sense
00:54:13.220 and
00:54:14.460 that's
00:54:14.600 why
00:54:14.720 there
00:54:14.860 are
00:54:14.960 currently
00:54:15.220 various
00:54:15.620 legal
00:54:15.880 challenges
00:54:16.260 to
00:54:16.540 these
00:54:16.860 changes
00:54:17.560 Texas
00:54:17.960 is
00:54:18.180 leading
00:54:18.400 one
00:54:18.620 of
00:54:18.720 them
00:54:18.860 it's
00:54:19.580 also
00:54:19.780 why
00:54:19.960 there
00:54:20.080 was
00:54:20.200 a
00:54:20.320 hearing
00:54:20.600 in
00:54:20.860 the
00:54:21.000 house
00:54:21.380 oversight
00:54:21.720 committee
00:54:22.040 yesterday
00:54:22.400 about
00:54:22.720 the
00:54:22.920 Biden
00:54:23.160 administration's
00:54:23.800 proposed
00:54:24.260 changes
00:54:24.820 to
00:54:25.000 title
00:54:25.140 nine
00:54:25.440 and
00:54:26.140 these
00:54:26.280 hearings
00:54:26.500 are
00:54:26.640 always
00:54:26.880 interesting
00:54:27.260 because
00:54:27.520 they
00:54:27.700 give
00:54:27.840 trans
00:54:28.220 activists
00:54:28.540 some
00:54:29.180 room
00:54:29.580 to
00:54:31.060 make
00:54:31.300 their
00:54:31.500 argument
00:54:31.880 normally
00:54:32.820 they
00:54:33.080 just
00:54:33.280 call
00:54:33.580 people
00:54:33.780 names
00:54:34.080 and
00:54:34.180 they
00:54:34.280 shout
00:54:34.420 everybody
00:54:34.640 down
00:54:34.900 trans
00:54:35.980 activists
00:54:36.240 don't
00:54:36.480 usually
00:54:36.720 articulate
00:54:37.220 their
00:54:37.560 position
00:54:38.020 because
00:54:38.480 when
00:54:38.660 they
00:54:38.800 try
00:54:39.100 to
00:54:39.380 it
00:54:39.960 never
00:54:40.100 takes
00:54:40.320 very
00:54:40.520 long
00:54:40.800 before
00:54:41.000 they
00:54:41.180 completely
00:54:41.580 discredit
00:54:42.020 themselves
00:54:42.440 that's
00:54:43.320 what
00:54:43.400 happened
00:54:43.640 this
00:54:43.840 summer
00:54:44.060 which
00:54:44.300 was
00:54:44.460 the
00:54:44.580 last
00:54:44.780 time
00:54:44.980 congress
00:54:45.400 held
00:54:46.000 a
00:54:46.140 hearing
00:54:46.340 on
00:54:46.540 transgender
00:54:46.880 and
00:54:47.180 that's
00:54:47.340 exactly
00:54:47.620 what
00:54:47.760 happened
00:54:48.000 yesterday
00:54:48.340 and
00:54:49.260 crucially
00:54:49.620 it
00:54:50.300 also
00:54:50.520 is
00:54:50.660 an
00:54:50.760 opportunity
00:54:51.020 for
00:54:51.260 the
00:54:51.440 other
00:54:51.640 side
00:54:51.920 the
00:54:52.100 sane
00:54:52.420 side
00:54:52.840 to
00:54:53.220 be
00:54:53.380 heard
00:54:53.660 and
00:54:54.420 speaking
00:54:54.640 of
00:54:54.780 which
00:54:54.940 and
00:54:55.060 just
00:54:55.200 as
00:54:55.340 an
00:54:55.440 interesting
00:54:55.800 side
00:54:56.180 note
00:54:56.440 my
00:54:57.940 team
00:54:58.340 was
00:54:58.560 actually
00:54:58.820 directly
00:54:59.220 involved
00:54:59.720 in
00:54:59.940 making
00:55:00.240 behind
00:55:00.840 the
00:55:01.020 scenes
00:55:01.260 and
00:55:01.420 making
00:55:01.620 sure
00:55:01.840 this
00:55:02.040 hearing
00:55:02.260 happened
00:55:02.660 and
00:55:03.680 I
00:55:03.980 was
00:55:04.140 supposed
00:55:04.320 to
00:55:04.500 be
00:55:04.720 there
00:55:05.140 to
00:55:05.320 testify
00:55:05.720 at
00:55:06.320 the
00:55:06.440 last
00:55:06.680 minute
00:55:06.940 I
00:55:07.340 was
00:55:07.540 uninvited
00:55:08.220 because
00:55:08.560 I
00:55:08.800 was
00:55:08.940 told
00:55:09.280 that
00:55:09.940 my
00:55:10.120 presence
00:55:10.460 would
00:55:10.600 be
00:55:10.700 a
00:55:10.820 distraction
00:55:11.300 which
00:55:11.700 makes
00:55:11.900 sense
00:55:12.140 I
00:55:12.280 guess
00:55:12.500 you
00:55:12.680 wouldn't
00:55:12.840 want
00:55:12.980 one
00:55:13.100 of
00:55:13.180 the
00:55:13.280 leading
00:55:13.500 voices
00:55:13.820 in
00:55:13.980 the
00:55:14.080 fight
00:55:14.220 against
00:55:14.400 gender
00:55:14.640 ideology
00:55:15.080 to
00:55:15.580 distract
00:55:16.040 you
00:55:16.340 during
00:55:17.160 a
00:55:17.340 hearing
00:55:17.680 about
00:55:18.180 gender
00:55:18.480 ideology
00:55:18.940 but
00:55:19.700 putting
00:55:20.280 that
00:55:20.400 aside
00:55:20.680 the
00:55:21.560 good
00:55:21.740 news
00:55:21.920 is
00:55:22.100 that
00:55:22.320 to
00:55:22.500 the
00:55:22.600 extent
00:55:22.860 that
00:55:23.000 the
00:55:23.100 hearings
00:55:23.420 can
00:55:23.800 have
00:55:23.960 winning
00:55:24.280 and
00:55:24.540 losing
00:55:24.800 teams
00:55:25.280 the
00:55:26.100 Democrats
00:55:26.540 lost
00:55:27.060 the
00:55:27.280 hearing
00:55:27.540 and
00:55:28.020 they
00:55:28.140 lost
00:55:28.460 it
00:55:28.720 just
00:55:29.900 by
00:55:30.100 opening
00:55:30.380 their
00:55:30.600 mouths
00:55:30.920 so
00:55:31.800 here
00:55:31.960 for
00:55:32.100 example
00:55:32.400 is
00:55:32.660 AOC
00:55:33.000 explaining
00:55:33.580 her
00:55:33.820 argument
00:55:34.180 for
00:55:34.420 why
00:55:34.740 under
00:55:34.940 Title
00:55:35.180 IX
00:55:35.420 men
00:55:36.160 should
00:55:36.340 be
00:55:36.460 allowed
00:55:36.680 to
00:55:36.880 dominate
00:55:37.360 women's
00:55:37.800 sports
00:55:38.140 and
00:55:38.440 she
00:55:38.520 begins
00:55:38.760 by
00:55:38.920 saying
00:55:39.140 that
00:55:39.280 right
00:55:39.440 wingers
00:55:39.760 are
00:55:39.900 obsessed
00:55:40.280 with
00:55:40.480 the
00:55:40.600 trans
00:55:40.860 issue
00:55:41.180 even
00:55:41.640 though
00:55:41.740 the
00:55:41.840 whole
00:55:41.980 point
00:55:42.260 of
00:55:42.360 the
00:55:42.440 hearing
00:55:42.620 is
00:55:42.760 that
00:55:42.880 the
00:55:42.960 Biden
00:55:43.120 administration
00:55:43.520 is
00:55:43.700 trying
00:55:43.900 to
00:55:44.100 redefine
00:55:45.120 a
00:55:45.280 federal
00:55:45.600 law
00:55:46.140 for
00:55:47.060 the
00:55:47.240 sake
00:55:47.480 of
00:55:47.620 trans
00:55:47.920 people
00:55:48.180 without
00:55:48.400 going
00:55:48.660 through
00:55:48.840 Congress
00:55:49.360 Democrats
00:55:50.580 are
00:55:50.860 the
00:55:50.940 ones
00:55:51.160 trying
00:55:51.380 to
00:55:51.560 unilaterally
00:55:52.200 transform
00:55:52.820 the
00:55:52.980 way
00:55:53.080 educational
00:55:53.560 institutions
00:55:54.040 work
00:55:54.520 all
00:55:55.320 because
00:55:55.520 they
00:55:55.720 think
00:55:55.880 trans
00:55:56.360 rights
00:55:56.620 are
00:55:56.760 so
00:55:56.920 important
00:56:06.340 and
00:56:06.640 here's
00:56:07.320 what
00:56:07.440 she
00:56:07.560 said
00:56:07.860 Ms.
00:56:09.340 Gosgraves
00:56:09.960 can you
00:56:10.340 tell us
00:56:10.860 a little
00:56:11.120 bit
00:56:11.480 about
00:56:12.840 what
00:56:13.480 sex
00:56:14.480 testing
00:56:15.160 looks like
00:56:16.360 for youth
00:56:17.280 in states
00:56:18.000 with
00:56:18.280 trans
00:56:18.760 athletic
00:56:19.200 bands
00:56:19.700 it's
00:56:21.840 terrible
00:56:22.300 in
00:56:23.580 some
00:56:24.000 states
00:56:24.680 any
00:56:25.180 individual
00:56:25.800 could
00:56:26.120 challenge
00:56:26.760 whether
00:56:27.080 someone
00:56:27.680 is
00:56:28.220 a
00:56:28.540 girl
00:56:28.920 enough
00:56:29.560 to
00:56:30.000 play
00:56:30.420 in
00:56:31.240 some
00:56:31.560 states
00:56:32.100 it
00:56:32.320 requires
00:56:32.960 actual
00:56:33.780 genital
00:56:34.560 verification
00:56:35.680 which is
00:56:36.520 shocking
00:56:37.000 and
00:56:38.560 there
00:56:39.200 aren't
00:56:39.740 it's
00:56:40.300 not as
00:56:40.620 if
00:56:40.780 there
00:56:40.940 and
00:56:41.400 let
00:56:41.520 me
00:56:41.600 just
00:56:41.780 stop
00:56:42.060 you
00:56:42.180 right
00:56:42.340 there
00:56:42.500 you
00:56:42.720 said
00:56:43.000 there
00:56:43.200 are
00:56:43.320 some
00:56:43.540 proposals
00:56:44.260 and
00:56:44.800 we've
00:56:45.040 seen
00:56:45.180 this
00:56:45.340 in
00:56:45.460 Ohio
00:56:45.900 there
00:56:46.160 was
00:56:46.300 a
00:56:46.440 proposed
00:56:46.960 ban
00:56:47.400 on
00:56:48.000 trans
00:56:48.300 athletes
00:56:48.640 that
00:56:48.860 originally
00:56:49.260 allowed
00:56:49.620 for
00:56:49.820 genital
00:56:50.360 examinations
00:56:51.240 on

00:56:56.500 protect
00:56:57.560 women
00:56:58.880 is that
00:57:00.040 correct
00:57:00.560 unfortunately
00:57:01.700 yes
00:57:02.480 and so
00:57:03.340 we're
00:57:03.600 seeing
00:57:04.020 here
00:57:04.480 in
00:57:06.120 this
00:57:06.580 guise
00:57:07.500 under
00:57:08.020 the
00:57:08.320 guise
00:57:09.000 of
00:57:10.100 not
00:57:10.740 only
00:57:11.240 trying
00:57:12.020 to
00:57:12.240 further
00:57:12.540 marginalize
00:57:13.440 trans
00:57:13.920 women
00:57:14.140 and
00:57:14.380 girls
00:57:14.720 we
00:57:15.360 are
00:57:15.500 talking
00:57:15.800 about
00:57:16.020 opening
00:57:16.320 up
00:57:16.580 all
00:57:17.220 women
00:57:17.640 and
00:57:17.880 girls
00:57:18.280 to
00:57:19.440 genital
00:57:20.880 examinations
00:57:22.120 when they
00:57:22.960 are under
00:57:23.500 age
00:57:24.140 okay
00:57:25.360 now
00:57:26.280 as bizarre
00:57:26.980 as all
00:57:27.300 that is
00:57:27.580 it's
00:57:27.740 something
00:57:27.900 you hear
00:57:28.300 from
00:57:28.760 democrats
00:57:29.240 all the
00:57:29.620 time
00:57:29.860 every
00:57:30.120 conversation
00:57:30.620 about
00:57:30.840 gender
00:57:31.040 audiology
00:57:31.480 becomes
00:57:31.880 to
00:57:32.060 them
00:57:32.400 a
00:57:33.260 conversation
00:57:33.760 about
00:57:34.040 genitals
00:57:34.500 in fact
00:57:35.000 it's
00:57:35.140 very
00:57:35.280 common
00:57:35.560 that
00:57:35.740 if
00:57:35.900 you
00:57:36.020 say
00:57:36.240 something
00:57:36.540 like
00:57:36.940 children
00:57:38.160 should
00:57:38.400 not
00:57:38.560 be
00:57:38.680 indoctrinated
00:57:39.260 into
00:57:39.520 gender
00:57:40.080 ideology
00:57:40.660 a leftist
00:57:41.460 will
00:57:41.580 quickly
00:57:41.860 retort
00:57:42.260 why
00:57:42.960 you
00:57:43.120 talk
00:57:43.360 about
00:57:43.540 children's
00:57:44.000 genitals
00:57:44.360 huh
00:57:44.660 well
00:57:45.900 we
00:57:46.080 weren't
00:57:46.360 talking
00:57:46.700 about
00:57:46.980 that
00:57:47.220 you
00:57:47.400 freak
00:57:47.800 you're
00:57:48.600 talking
00:57:48.960 about
00:57:49.240 it
00:57:49.460 and
00:57:50.100 here
00:57:50.720 was
00:57:50.860 AOC
00:57:51.160 at a
00:57:51.540 congressional
00:57:51.820 hearing
00:57:52.140 ranting
00:57:52.560 about
00:57:52.800 genital
00:57:53.180 exams
00:57:53.600 now
00:57:54.540 there
00:57:54.660 are
00:57:54.760 some
00:57:54.880 major
00:57:55.120 problems
00:57:55.560 with
00:57:55.720 this
00:57:55.840 argument
00:57:56.140 that
00:57:56.300 all
00:57:56.440 boil
00:57:56.620 down
00:57:56.800 to
00:57:56.900 fact
00:57:57.140 that
00:57:57.260 it's
00:57:57.380 a
00:57:57.480 very
00:57:57.660 stupid
00:57:58.080 and
00:57:58.820 creepy
00:57:59.160 thing
00:57:59.640 to say
00:58:00.660 but
00:58:00.880 let's
00:58:01.820 break
00:58:02.040 it down
00:58:02.300 first
00:58:03.320 of all
00:58:03.660 there are
00:58:04.840 no
00:58:05.000 genital
00:58:05.300 exams
00:58:05.680 actually
00:58:06.040 going
00:58:06.260 on
00:58:06.540 and
00:58:07.520 yeah
00:58:07.740 laws
00:58:08.100 have
00:58:08.300 already
00:58:08.560 been
00:58:08.720 passed
00:58:09.000 banning
00:58:09.540 boys
00:58:09.900 from
00:58:10.080 girls
00:58:10.300 sports
00:58:10.620 in a
00:58:10.820 number
00:58:10.980 of
00:58:11.140 states
00:58:11.480 not
00:58:12.340 conducting
00:58:12.720 genital
00:58:13.200 exams
00:58:13.680 in fact
00:58:14.920 prior
00:58:16.020 to the
00:58:16.380 country
00:58:16.660 losing
00:58:17.060 its
00:58:17.280 mind
00:58:17.580 about
00:58:17.780 a
00:58:17.900 decade
00:58:18.080 ago
00:58:18.340 every
00:58:19.420 school
00:58:19.800 in
00:58:20.020 every
00:58:20.420 state
00:58:20.880 only
00:58:21.400 allowed
00:58:21.740 girls
00:58:22.020 to
00:58:22.160 play
00:58:22.280 girls
00:58:22.500 sports
00:58:22.760 and
00:58:22.960 there
00:58:23.100 were
00:58:23.240 no
00:58:26.900 like
00:58:28.360 many
00:58:28.600 people
00:58:28.960 I
00:58:29.340 played
00:58:29.720 sports
00:58:30.240 when I
00:58:30.680 was
00:58:30.840 in
00:58:31.040 public
00:58:31.380 school
00:58:31.700 there
00:58:32.640 was
00:58:32.780 no
00:58:32.960 genital
00:58:33.380 exam
00:58:33.760 at
00:58:33.900 any
00:58:34.060 point
00:58:34.400 and
00:58:35.680 that
00:58:35.820 was
00:58:35.940 at
00:58:36.040 a
00:58:36.140 time
00:58:36.340 when
00:58:36.540 only
00:58:37.100 boys
00:58:37.480 played
00:58:37.740 boys
00:58:37.980 sports
00:58:38.200 and
00:58:38.320 only
00:58:38.480 girls
00:58:38.760 play
00:58:38.940 girls
00:58:39.180 sports
00:58:39.560 now
00:58:41.740 so
00:58:43.260 that
00:58:43.540 tells
00:58:43.820 you
00:58:43.920 right
00:58:44.060 there
00:58:44.220 that
00:58:44.360 the
00:58:44.460 whole
00:58:44.600 concern
00:58:44.940 like
00:58:45.180 they
00:58:46.620 when
00:58:48.220 we
00:58:48.460 say
00:58:48.780 only
00:58:49.040 girls
00:58:49.280 play
00:58:49.480 girls
00:58:49.660 sports
00:58:49.880 all
00:58:51.260 we
00:58:51.440 are
00:58:51.560 saying
00:58:51.840 is
00:58:52.720 let's
00:58:53.380 return
00:58:53.900 to
00:58:54.220 the
00:58:54.400 same
00:58:54.780 system
00:58:55.260 that
00:58:55.480 was
00:58:55.700 in
00:58:56.060 place
00:58:56.900 since
00:58:57.960 the
00:58:58.180 beginning
00:58:58.540 of
00:58:58.860 the
00:58:59.000 existence
00:58:59.420 of
00:58:59.680 organized
00:59:00.120 sports
00:59:00.660 up
00:59:01.680 until
00:59:02.080 15
00:59:02.640 seconds
00:59:03.000 ago
00:59:03.300 that's
00:59:04.820 all
00:59:05.040 and
00:59:07.160 so
00:59:07.820 if
00:59:08.000 you
00:59:08.080 have
00:59:08.220 any
00:59:08.360 kind
00:59:08.540 of
00:59:08.620 slippery
00:59:09.120 slope
00:59:09.760 overly
00:59:11.100 dramatic
00:59:11.820 alleged
00:59:16.680 fear
00:59:17.160 about
00:59:17.340 what
00:59:17.500 that
00:59:17.640 will
00:59:17.760 look
00:59:17.960 like
00:59:18.300 we
00:59:18.940 don't
00:59:19.120 need
00:59:19.240 to
00:59:19.380 speculate
00:59:19.740 what
00:59:21.020 will
00:59:21.200 it
00:59:21.340 look
00:59:21.520 like
00:59:21.740 to
00:59:21.880 only
00:59:22.120 allow
00:59:22.360 boys
00:59:22.660 and
00:59:22.780 boys
00:59:22.960 sports
00:59:23.220 and
00:59:23.360 girls
00:59:23.500 and
00:59:23.600 girls
00:59:23.740 sports
00:59:23.940 it
00:59:24.740 will
00:59:24.860 look
00:59:25.020 like
00:59:25.240 what
00:59:25.460 it
00:59:25.600 looked
00:59:25.820 like
00:59:26.120 for
00:59:27.440 decades
00:59:27.980 just
00:59:28.440 go
00:59:28.640 back
00:59:28.960 and
00:59:29.300 look
00:59:29.700 at
00:59:29.840 the
00:59:30.120 way
00:59:30.240 it
00:59:30.360 worked
00:59:30.540 then
00:59:30.820 and
00:59:31.540 that's
00:59:31.720 how
00:59:31.840 it
00:59:31.980 worked
00:59:32.160 now
00:59:32.460 and
00:59:34.580 you
00:59:34.660 know
00:59:34.800 in
00:59:36.140 the
00:59:36.240 vast
00:59:36.440 majority
00:59:36.720 of
00:59:36.880 cases
00:59:37.140 these
00:59:37.600 quote
00:59:37.800 unquote
00:59:37.980 trans
00:59:38.400 girls
00:59:38.700 and
00:59:38.900 girls
00:59:39.100 sports
00:59:39.400 are
00:59:39.700 boys
00:59:40.460 who
00:59:40.740 played
00:59:41.140 boys
00:59:41.460 sports
00:59:41.860 and
00:59:42.080 then
00:59:42.240 decided
00:59:42.580 somewhere
00:59:42.960 along
00:59:43.280 the
00:59:43.420 process
00:59:43.740 to
00:59:43.980 become
00:59:44.340 girls
00:59:44.760 so
00:59:45.980 the
00:59:46.100 fact
00:59:46.280 that
00:59:46.400 they're
00:59:46.520 trans
00:59:46.880 is
00:59:47.120 not
00:59:47.380 a
00:59:47.520 mystery
00:59:47.900 no
00:59:48.820 further
00:59:49.240 inquiry
00:59:49.800 is
00:59:50.100 necessary
00:59:50.660 most
00:59:52.340 of
00:59:52.480 the
00:59:52.580 time
00:59:52.940 these
00:59:53.280 are
00:59:53.500 boys
00:59:53.940 who
00:59:54.220 are
00:59:54.540 boys
00:59:55.200 and
00:59:55.440 they
00:59:55.600 identify
00:59:56.080 as
00:59:56.360 boys
00:59:56.680 and
00:59:57.360 then
00:59:57.500 one
00:59:57.820 day
00:59:58.140 they
00:59:58.400 say
00:59:58.720 yeah
00:59:59.480 actually
00:59:59.700 I'm
00:59:59.840 a
00:59:59.940 girl
01:00:00.080 and
01:00:01.440 so
01:00:01.600 there's
01:00:02.280 no
01:00:02.780 we don't
01:00:03.900 need to
01:00:04.480 have any
01:00:05.540 conversation
01:00:06.020 about whether
01:00:06.440 this person
01:00:06.780 is really
01:00:07.060 a boy
01:00:07.320 or a
01:00:07.540 girl
01:00:07.680 it's
01:00:08.320 incredibly
01:00:08.760 obvious
01:00:09.100 to
01:00:09.280 everyone
01:00:09.600 now if
01:00:11.520 there is
01:00:11.920 any sort
01:00:12.340 of
01:00:12.440 confusion
01:00:12.940 then
01:00:14.900 usually a
01:00:15.580 glance at
01:00:16.000 the birth
01:00:16.380 certificate
01:00:16.880 should clear
01:00:18.180 that up
01:00:18.640 and
01:00:19.740 if
01:00:19.980 this
01:00:20.140 is
01:00:20.260 happening
01:00:20.520 in a
01:00:20.760 state
01:00:20.940 that
01:00:21.160 insanely
01:00:21.860 allows
01:00:22.420 you
01:00:22.600 to
01:00:22.840 retroactively
01:00:23.580 change
01:00:24.100 your
01:00:24.260 birth
01:00:24.460 certificate
01:00:24.760 to
01:00:25.020 claim
01:00:25.260 a
01:00:25.440 biological
01:00:25.880 sex
01:00:26.240 that
01:00:26.400 isn't
01:00:26.660 your
01:00:26.820 own
01:00:27.080 well
01:00:28.300 then
01:00:28.780 we'll
01:00:28.880 just
01:00:29.020 have to
01:00:29.240 change
01:00:29.600 the
01:00:29.780 laws
01:00:30.060 that
01:00:30.220 allow
01:00:30.460 that
01:00:30.780 I
01:00:32.420 wonder
01:00:32.640 though
01:00:32.820 borrowing
01:00:33.120 a point
01:00:33.440 that
01:00:33.580 Dan
01:00:33.800 Bagino
01:00:34.160 made
01:00:34.420 this
01:00:34.620 morning
01:00:34.880 when
01:00:35.880 someone
01:00:36.100 like
01:00:36.300 Joe
01:00:36.540 Biden
01:00:36.840 promises
01:00:37.260 to
01:00:37.500 nominate
01:00:37.820 a
01:00:38.060 female
01:00:38.580 vice
01:00:38.920 president
01:00:39.340 which
01:00:40.040 he
01:00:40.140 did
01:00:40.280 promise
01:00:40.540 that
01:00:40.740 remember
01:00:41.020 is
01:00:42.060 he
01:00:42.200 saying

01:00:51.680 fill
01:00:51.820 some

01:00:55.280 part
01:00:55.440 of
01:00:55.540 it
01:00:55.720 does
01:00:56.600 anyone
01:00:56.840 ever
01:00:57.100 worry
01:00:57.520 that
01:00:57.760 they

01:00:58.420 has

01:01:00.980 to
01:01:01.100 programs
01:01:01.500 or
01:01:01.660 initiatives
01:01:01.960 that
01:01:02.220 target
01:01:02.580 women
01:01:02.860 on
01:01:03.040 the
01:01:03.140 grounds
01:01:03.440 that
01:01:03.620 they
01:01:03.740 would
01:01:03.880 necessitate
01:01:04.340 genital
01:01:04.860 exams
01:01:05.380 of
01:01:12.460 the

01:01:13.180 from
01:01:13.380 team
01:01:13.600 trans
01:01:13.960 got

01:01:14.300 worse
01:01:14.600 Fatima
01:01:15.020 Graves
01:01:15.580 who
01:01:15.800 despite
01:01:16.380 being
01:01:16.680 unable
01:01:16.980 to
01:01:17.120 define
01:01:17.380 the
01:01:17.500 word
01:01:17.660 woman
01:01:17.960 somehow
01:01:18.280 runs
01:01:18.620 the
01:01:18.800 national
01:01:19.200 women's
01:01:19.640 law
01:01:19.900 center
01:01:20.180 made
01:01:21.000 her
01:01:21.160 case
01:01:21.400 for
01:01:21.520 why
01:01:21.660 women
01:01:21.900 should
01:01:22.080 be
01:01:22.240 forced
01:01:22.500 to
01:01:22.640 compete
01:01:22.980 with
01:01:23.200 men
01:01:23.420 and
01:01:23.540 specifically
01:01:23.860 she
01:01:24.040 said
01:01:24.260 it's
01:01:24.880 important
01:01:25.100 to teach
01:01:25.360 women
01:01:25.560 how
01:01:25.740 to
01:01:25.900 lose
01:01:26.420 gracefully
01:01:27.420 because
01:01:28.500 that's
01:01:28.720 an
01:01:28.820 important
01:01:29.120 life
01:01:29.440 skill
01:01:29.820 she
01:01:30.080 says
01:01:30.420 listen
01:01:31.260 success
01:01:32.880 in
01:01:33.460 school
01:01:33.740 sports
01:01:34.200 depends
01:01:34.620 on a
01:01:35.040 whole
01:01:35.360 range
01:01:35.780 of
01:01:36.020 factors
01:01:36.420 including
01:01:36.800 how hard
01:01:37.380 you
01:01:37.560 work
01:01:37.940 and
01:01:38.260 coaching
01:01:38.680 and
01:01:39.260 access
01:01:39.680 to
01:01:40.100 really
01:01:40.460 good
01:01:41.020 resources
01:01:41.940 and
01:01:42.420 facilities
01:01:43.020 and
01:01:43.880 trans
01:01:44.300 students
01:01:44.720 participate
01:01:45.520 in
01:01:45.900 sports
01:01:46.480 for the
01:01:47.060 same
01:01:47.300 reason
01:01:47.920 as
01:01:48.540 their
01:01:48.780 kids
01:01:49.360 because
01:01:50.020 it
01:01:50.220 is
01:01:50.380 fun
01:01:50.860 because
01:01:51.440 it
01:01:51.660 creates
01:01:52.140 belonging
01:01:52.840 and
01:01:53.240 community
01:01:53.860 because
01:01:54.300 it
01:01:54.520 teaches
01:01:54.900 so
01:01:55.220 much
01:01:55.480 about
01:01:55.720 persistence
01:01:56.380 and
01:01:56.860 leadership
01:01:57.400 and
01:01:57.940 discipline
01:01:59.100 unless
01:01:59.700 they
01:02:00.200 learn
01:02:00.600 to
01:02:00.960 lose
01:02:01.880 gracefully
01:02:02.580 hopefully
01:02:03.100 and
01:02:04.280 often
01:02:04.920 they learn
01:02:05.580 to win
01:02:06.140 with
01:02:06.460 dignity
01:02:07.000 hopefully
01:02:07.940 they learn
01:02:09.960 to do
01:02:10.560 the sort
01:02:10.960 of work
01:02:11.500 that means
01:02:12.220 you have
01:02:12.540 higher
01:02:12.920 grades
01:02:13.460 and stay
01:02:14.120 connected
01:02:14.620 to school
01:02:15.180 I want
01:02:16.020 every kid
01:02:16.820 to have
01:02:17.620 that chance
01:02:18.420 to have
01:02:19.320 the chance
01:02:20.080 to play
01:02:20.960 so it's a
01:02:23.800 revealing clip
01:02:24.500 although
01:02:24.900 obviously not
01:02:25.500 in the way
01:02:25.800 that Fatima
01:02:26.240 Graves
01:02:26.720 intended it
01:02:27.320 to be
01:02:27.540 yes
01:02:27.780 it's good
01:02:28.200 for young
01:02:28.560 people to
01:02:28.880 play sports
01:02:29.380 so they
01:02:29.700 understand
01:02:30.080 hard work
01:02:30.600 pays off
01:02:31.180 and that
01:02:31.420 cheating
01:02:31.640 is wrong
01:02:32.160 and that
01:02:32.500 you know
01:02:32.980 improving
01:02:33.360 their physical
01:02:33.840 fitness
01:02:34.120 leads to
01:02:34.560 tangible
01:02:34.860 results
01:02:35.220 that's one
01:02:36.260 reason among
01:02:36.660 many
01:02:36.960 that's a
01:02:38.020 terrible idea
01:02:38.540 to reward
01:02:39.240 boys who
01:02:39.940 don't work
01:02:40.500 as hard
01:02:40.860 and who
01:02:41.100 cheat
01:02:41.500 in the most
01:02:41.900 obvious way
01:02:42.580 possible
01:02:43.060 telling girls
01:02:45.260 to lose
01:02:45.900 gracefully
01:02:46.460 to men
01:02:47.060 is like
01:02:48.580 defending
01:02:49.200 steroids
01:02:49.900 in baseball
01:02:50.500 on the basis
01:02:50.900 that those
01:02:51.360 who are not
01:02:51.760 on steroids
01:02:52.200 should learn
01:02:52.540 to lose
01:02:53.020 gracefully
01:02:53.520 to those
01:02:53.900 who are
01:02:54.260 only this
01:02:55.900 is way
01:02:56.180 worse
01:02:56.460 because it
01:02:56.940 is significantly
01:02:57.740 crazier
01:02:58.440 to allow
01:02:58.960 men in women's
01:02:59.640 sports
01:02:59.900 than to allow
01:03:00.740 steroids
01:03:01.280 in baseball
01:03:01.800 now fortunately
01:03:03.500 for people
01:03:03.880 who can see
01:03:04.440 the humor
01:03:04.840 in all this
01:03:05.260 depravity
01:03:05.700 congresswoman
01:03:06.780 Marjorie Taylor
01:03:07.880 Green was
01:03:08.600 listening to
01:03:09.060 Fatima Graves
01:03:09.560 testify and
01:03:10.200 it didn't
01:03:10.440 take her
01:03:10.760 long to
01:03:11.840 pick apart
01:03:12.520 what she
01:03:13.200 said
01:03:13.560 watch
01:03:14.120 and you
01:03:16.020 mentioned
01:03:16.340 that you're
01:03:17.340 a fan
01:03:17.800 of Serena
01:03:18.800 Williams
01:03:19.160 is that
01:03:19.600 right
01:03:19.820 I am
01:03:21.220 I'm a
01:03:21.560 Williams
01:03:21.920 sister fan
01:03:22.620 I'm a
01:03:22.940 tennis fan
01:03:23.700 I'm actually
01:03:24.420 a fan of
01:03:24.880 most sports
01:03:25.600 I grew up
01:03:26.320 playing sports
01:03:27.520 and in a
01:03:28.040 family that
01:03:28.580 understood
01:03:29.120 that there
01:03:30.760 is so much
01:03:31.320 value in
01:03:31.900 playing sports
01:03:32.580 whether you're
01:03:33.020 the best
01:03:33.420 or not
01:03:33.760 the best
01:03:34.260 I agree
01:03:35.000 with you
01:03:35.420 and I'm
01:03:35.780 a fan
01:03:36.120 of Serena
01:03:36.600 Williams
01:03:37.020 too
01:03:37.380 I think
01:03:38.080 she's
01:03:38.440 strong
01:03:38.860 I think
01:03:39.280 she's
01:03:39.580 powerful
01:03:40.000 and I
01:03:40.340 think
01:03:40.460 she's
01:03:40.720 beautiful
01:03:41.120 in 2013
01:03:43.120 Serena
01:03:43.660 Williams
01:03:44.080 stated
01:03:44.520 if I
01:03:45.400 were to
01:03:45.720 play
01:03:46.000 Andy
01:03:46.440 Murray
01:03:46.820 I
01:03:47.660 would
01:03:47.940 lose
01:03:48.360 6-0
01:03:49.360 6-0
01:03:50.620 in 5-6
01:03:51.820 minutes
01:03:52.340 maybe
01:03:53.140 10
01:03:53.580 minutes
01:03:54.020 no
01:03:54.700 it's
01:03:55.180 true
01:03:55.500 it's
01:03:55.960 a
01:03:56.080 completely
01:03:56.560 different
01:03:57.020 sport
01:03:57.460 the men
01:03:58.240 are a
01:03:58.520 lot
01:03:58.720 faster
01:03:59.180 and
01:03:59.460 they
01:03:59.620 serve
01:03:59.920 harder
01:04:00.260 they
01:04:00.480 hit
01:04:00.720 harder
01:04:01.100 it's
01:04:01.900 just
01:04:02.260 a
01:04:02.480 different
01:04:02.780 game
01:04:03.220 so
01:04:03.900 sounds
01:04:04.260 like
01:04:04.620 she
01:04:05.100 doesn't
01:04:05.800 think
01:04:05.980 she
01:04:06.180 could
01:04:06.360 beat
01:04:06.600 men
01:04:07.080 either
01:04:07.420 but
01:04:08.240 let's
01:04:08.460 talk
01:04:08.660 about
01:04:08.860 some
01:04:09.100 of
01:04:09.220 your
01:04:09.340 comments
01:04:09.800 you
01:04:10.040 said
01:04:10.400 that
01:04:10.760 this
01:04:11.420 is
01:04:11.560 attacking
01:04:12.000 and
01:04:12.280 dehumanizing
01:04:13.240 on
01:04:13.580 trans
01:04:14.160 Ms.
01:04:15.580 Goss
01:04:16.080 Graves
01:04:16.640 how do
01:04:17.220 you think
01:04:17.660 Ms.
01:04:18.000 Gaines
01:04:18.380 felt
01:04:18.920 do you
01:04:19.620 think
01:04:19.780 she
01:04:19.980 felt
01:04:20.220 dehumanized
01:04:21.000 being
01:04:21.240 forced
01:04:21.600 to
01:04:21.760 undress
01:04:22.260 in
01:04:22.480 front
01:04:22.660 of
01:04:22.800 men
01:04:22.960 in
01:04:23.080 her
01:04:23.240 sports
01:04:23.660 or
01:04:23.920 attacked
01:04:24.280 here's
01:04:26.640 what
01:04:26.800 I
01:04:26.940 think
01:04:27.080 that's
01:04:27.300 a
01:04:27.400 yes
01:04:27.580 or
01:04:27.720 no
01:04:27.880 question
01:04:28.360 but
01:04:28.780 if
01:04:29.340 I
01:04:29.520 could
01:04:29.680 being
01:04:29.900 forced
01:04:30.280 to
01:04:30.440 undress
01:04:30.800 in
01:04:31.000 front
01:04:31.180 of
01:04:31.300 a
01:04:31.420 man
01:04:31.660 isn't
01:04:32.100 that
01:04:32.280 dehumanizing
01:04:33.020 or
01:04:33.220 attacking
01:04:33.520 this
01:04:33.960 question
01:04:34.420 Madam
01:04:34.740 Chairman
01:04:35.120 because
01:04:35.580 I
01:04:36.500 actually
01:04:36.920 think
01:04:37.220 this
01:04:37.440 is
01:04:37.640 really
01:04:38.000 really
01:04:38.320 important
01:04:39.120 the
01:04:40.360 issue
01:04:40.820 of
01:04:41.420 privacy
01:04:42.140 in
01:04:42.940 locker
01:04:43.280 rooms
01:04:43.900 and
01:04:44.300 in
01:04:44.500 bathrooms
01:04:44.940 there's
01:04:45.360 a
01:04:45.500 wide
01:04:45.840 range
01:04:46.320 so
01:04:46.640 you
01:04:46.860 feel
01:04:47.080 like
01:04:47.280 Ms.
01:04:47.540 Gaines
01:04:47.740 should
01:04:47.980 have
01:04:48.080 had
01:04:48.260 privacy
01:04:48.780 so
01:04:51.560 she
01:04:52.500 has
01:04:52.660 no
01:04:52.860 answer
01:04:53.920 men
01:04:54.060 are
01:04:54.220 better
01:04:54.440 at
01:04:54.600 sports
01:04:54.880 than
01:04:55.040 women
01:04:55.200 she
01:04:55.360 doesn't
01:04:55.520 want
01:04:55.640 to
01:04:55.720 talk
01:04:55.920 about
01:04:56.100 whether
01:04:56.300 she
01:04:56.640 would
01:04:56.820 enjoy
01:04:57.160 watching
01:04:57.500 the
01:04:57.640 Williams
01:04:57.880 sister
01:04:58.240 get
01:04:58.460 trounced
01:04:58.840 by
01:04:59.060 men
01:04:59.300 but
01:04:59.440 she's
01:04:59.620 very
01:04:59.780 passionate
01:05:00.080 about
01:05:00.320 putting
01:05:01.200 up
01:05:01.400 curtains
01:05:01.860 in
01:05:02.140 locker
01:05:02.400 rooms
01:05:02.600 which
01:05:02.760 she
01:05:03.220 suggests
01:05:03.800 so
01:05:03.940 that
01:05:04.080 women
01:05:04.660 don't
01:05:04.880 have
01:05:05.040 to
01:05:05.240 look
01:05:05.620 at
01:05:05.700 the
01:05:05.820 penises
01:05:06.120 of
01:05:06.400 their
01:05:06.520 competitors
01:05:06.900 that's
01:05:07.680 the
01:05:07.800 priority
01:05:08.140 of
01:05:08.320 the
01:05:08.420 National
01:05:08.740 Women's
01:05:09.100 Law
01:05:09.280 Center
01:05:09.500 they
01:05:10.360 want
01:05:10.540 women
01:05:10.780 to
01:05:11.000 get
01:05:11.140 completely
01:05:11.460 destroyed
01:05:11.920 and
01:05:12.080 humiliated
01:05:12.620 and
01:05:13.380 as part
01:05:13.620 of
01:05:13.680 that
01:05:13.800 process
01:05:14.100 they
01:05:14.280 want
01:05:14.460 every
01:05:14.700 women's
01:05:14.980 locker
01:05:15.180 room
01:05:15.320 in
01:05:15.400 the
01:05:15.460 country
01:05:15.660 to
01:05:15.780 be
01:05:15.940 redesigned
01:05:16.580 to
01:05:16.720 accommodate
01:05:17.120 men
01:05:17.560 and
01:05:18.640 somehow
01:05:18.880 as the
01:05:19.160 hearing
01:05:19.320 went on
01:05:19.620 the arguments
01:05:20.040 kept
01:05:20.400 getting
01:05:20.820 even
01:05:21.500 worse
01:05:21.900 at one
01:05:22.580 point
01:05:22.760 congressman
01:05:23.740 Jasmine
01:05:24.860 Crockett
01:05:25.620 went on
01:05:26.780 or congresswoman
01:05:27.420 Jasmine
01:05:27.740 Crockett
01:05:28.060 went on
01:05:28.720 a bizarre
01:05:29.620 rant
01:05:29.920 about
01:05:30.220 states
01:05:31.220 that she
01:05:31.520 called
01:05:31.880 deplorable
01:05:32.840 including
01:05:33.360 Florida
01:05:33.800 and her
01:05:34.360 own
01:05:34.780 home
01:05:35.100 state
01:05:35.500 of
01:05:36.000 Texas
01:05:36.360 watch
01:05:36.960 in fact
01:05:38.480 Ms. Perry
01:05:38.880 I know
01:05:39.280 your
01:05:39.520 organization
01:05:40.140 the
01:05:40.440 Heritage
01:05:40.680 Foundation
01:05:41.120 loves
01:05:41.800 Texas
01:05:42.200 oh they
01:05:42.580 love
01:05:42.860 Texas
01:05:43.120 they
01:05:43.300 always
01:05:43.640 sending
01:05:43.860 us
01:05:44.040 some
01:05:44.200 nonsense
01:05:44.540 bills
01:05:44.940 that
01:05:45.700 somehow
01:05:46.040 set
01:05:46.340 this
01:05:46.540 country
01:05:46.840 on
01:05:47.100 the
01:05:47.220 wrong
01:05:47.420 trajectory
01:05:47.920 they
01:05:48.280 send
01:05:48.540 them
01:05:48.680 to
01:05:48.840 Texas
01:05:49.140 they
01:05:49.360 send
01:05:49.560 them
01:05:49.680 to
01:05:49.840 Florida
01:05:50.120 every
01:05:50.720 deplorable
01:05:51.160 state
01:05:51.460 that we
01:05:51.680 can
01:05:51.800 think
01:05:51.960 about
01:05:52.180 they
01:05:52.400 usually
01:05:52.760 coming
01:05:53.080 out
01:05:53.340 of
01:05:53.600 y'all's
01:05:54.120 think
01:05:54.380 tank
01:05:54.740 this is
01:05:57.120 someone
01:05:57.300 who was
01:05:57.500 elected
01:05:57.840 to
01:05:58.920 congress
01:05:59.340 and then
01:06:00.020 put on
01:06:00.320 a
01:06:00.440 committee
01:06:00.760 and she
01:06:02.260 can
01:06:02.420 barely
01:06:02.660 speak
01:06:03.120 and to
01:06:04.440 be
01:06:04.540 clear
01:06:04.700 she's
01:06:04.940 calling
01:06:05.180 the
01:06:05.340 entire
01:06:05.880 states
01:06:06.600 deplorable
01:06:07.280 a
01:06:07.960 state
01:06:08.160 she
01:06:08.320 represents
01:06:08.920 is
01:06:09.340 deplorable
01:06:09.920 like
01:06:11.100 not even
01:06:11.560 pretending
01:06:12.060 she
01:06:12.540 hates
01:06:13.220 her
01:06:13.420 own
01:06:13.640 state
01:06:13.920 that
01:06:14.220 she
01:06:14.300 has
01:06:14.400 been
01:06:14.500 represented
01:06:14.920 that
01:06:15.180 she
01:06:15.300 has
01:06:15.420 been
01:06:15.620 at
01:06:16.520 least
01:06:16.720 that
01:06:17.480 she
01:06:17.620 is
01:06:17.780 one
01:06:18.580 of
01:06:19.020 those
01:06:19.340 elected
01:06:20.260 to
01:06:20.420 represent
01:06:20.740 every
01:06:21.860 person
01:06:22.180 who
01:06:22.340 lives
01:06:22.580 in
01:06:22.780 Texas
01:06:23.000 of
01:06:23.160 Florida
01:06:23.280 is
01:06:23.460 deplorable
01:06:23.980 apparently
01:06:24.520 well we
01:06:27.920 know that
01:06:28.160 at least
01:06:28.340 one
01:06:28.580 person
01:06:28.880 in Texas
01:06:29.220 is
01:06:29.420 deplorable
01:06:29.800 and she's
01:06:30.120 sitting
01:06:30.280 right there
01:06:30.700 and this
01:06:31.600 is what
01:06:31.800 it's
01:06:31.940 come
01:06:32.100 to
01:06:32.260 for
01:06:32.420 Democrats
01:06:32.840 so
01:06:34.060 this
01:06:34.380 whole
01:06:34.580 hearing
01:06:34.840 was
01:06:35.220 in a
01:06:35.760 word
01:06:35.960 a
01:06:38.160 so
01:07:08.140 far I've only presented the left's arguments. They're so self-discrediting and so embarrassing that I don't need to play any of the testimony from the witnesses called by the conservatives, witnesses including Riley Gaines, who all, by the way, made eloquent and powerful arguments. They did a tremendous job making the Democrats look like fools. They did an even better job making themselves look like fools. This is the way it goes. The trans argument is so absurd that it quickly becomes self-parody. And at one point in the hearing, Congressman Eric Burleson and Riley Gaines made that exact observation. Watch.
01:07:08.160 I just want to say, you know, I just want to say, you know, I just want to say, you know, I just want to say, you know, to Mrs. Gaines, what happened to you is tragic. I mean, what, you were robbed of your, the glory, you were robbed of your opportunity to, um, to be clearly the victor. And it's, if, if it weren't so tragic, it would be comical. I mean, and I understand there's a movie being made, the comedy about this very issue, um, that's on the Daily Wire that I can't wait to see.
01:07:35.060 I encourage everyone to watch it. Um, and truthfully, I think that's what's needed. Uh, because what we're seeing again, what myself and my teammates and my competitors saw was a mockery, a mockery of women. Uh, and I believe it's time we mock the mockery through comedy because you're right. It's objectively funny. Uh, it's inherent to, to almost look at this and laugh because it feels like satire. Uh, but watching that movie, uh, to which I watched, uh, it didn't feel like satire.
01:08:05.060 It's a documentary of what, again, myself and girls around the country continue to go through.
01:08:10.200 And that's the main reason Lady Ballers is so successful is that transgenderism is so incoherent that it's comical. You don't have to exaggerate what these people believe. You don't need to lie about it. Really, all you got to do is take what they're saying to its logical conclusion, put it on camera, and, uh, you get a comedy.
01:08:23.120 Put a microphone in front of these lunatics, give them some space, and, um, hilarity naturally ensues as well. That's what we did with Lady Ballers.
01:08:31.400 And unfortunately for trans activists and their allies in the Democrat Party, it's exactly what the House Oversight Committee did yesterday. And we all got to see it once again.
01:08:40.220 And it's why the Democrats on that committee, and everywhere else in the country, are today canceled.
01:08:48.120 That'll do it for the show today. Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening.
01:08:51.080 Have a great day. Talk to you tomorrow. Godspeed.
01:08:53.040 Have a great day.
