The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1275 - California Lawmakers Focus On What Matters： Gender Neutral Toys

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, California is focusing on the important things by passing

00:00:03.740 a law requiring that toy stores become gender neutral. But aside from the general stupidity 0.99

00:00:08.220 of it, there are a number of problems with this concept. I'll explain. Also, the Biden 0.99

00:00:11.820 administration is threatening to send our children to go die overseas if we don't give more money to

00:00:16.280 Ukraine. Voters in Los Angeles are starting to regret their voting habits, but will anything

00:00:20.560 actually change? And an NFL head coach gets into some hot water for giving a speech to his players

00:00:24.980 where he used the 9-11 hijackers as an example of teamwork. All of that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:00:54.980 Well, for all of you loyal Matt Walsh listeners and viewers, no, I did not get new intro music.

00:02:16.520 Well, I haven't kept track of this officially, admittedly, but I'm guessing that of all the

00:02:21.080 states in the country, California has been featured in the daily cancellation of this show the most.

00:02:26.000 This is perhaps these days the only good thing about California. Yes, the entire state is a

00:02:30.640 degenerate cesspool covered in sewage, but at least it provides plenty of content for the last segment

00:02:35.620 of my show. And today, the good news is that they've done something so stupid that it graduates to 1.00

00:02:40.700 the first segment. Now, as the Daily Mail reports this week, in a little over a month from now, 0.99

00:02:44.920 a new law will go into effect in California. Now, is this a law that addresses the homeless problem

00:02:50.940 in the state? Is it a law meant to clean up the streets, tamp down on the rampant crime,

00:02:55.400 get rid of the sewage, make communities safe and livable again? Well, no, of course not.

00:03:00.580 Why would California's lawmakers care about doing any of that? Now, this is a law to address a far

00:03:06.280 more pressing concern for them, and that is gender-neutral toy sections. Now, we know that

00:03:12.040 leftists, they see the toy industry like they see everything else, an ideological battleground,

00:03:18.280 another politicized arena to defeat traditional concepts of gender and usher in a new ambiguous

00:03:24.480 dystopia where kids can live as amorphous, genderless blobs of nondescript matter. And so, 0.85

00:03:31.040 now they have a law to that effect. The Daily Mail has more reading,

00:03:34.520 California retailers that refuse to have a gender-neutral section for children

00:03:37.960 will be fined up to $500 under Gavin Newsom's new bill. The ultra-woke governor signed legislation

00:03:43.580 in 2021 that would require some retail stores in the Golden State to have a gender-neutral section

00:03:48.880 for children. Retailers would have to do this regardless of whether they've been traditionally

00:03:53.200 marketed for either girls or for boys, the bill said. The legislation, Assembly Bill number

00:03:57.600 10584, will be enacted on January 1st, 2024. And if retail department stores choose not to comply,

00:04:04.100 they will have to dish out a civil penalty of $250 or $500. Department stores that are subject to

00:04:09.420 the new laws will have to have a total of 500 or more employees, be physically located in California,

00:04:15.300 and sell childcare items or toys. California Democratic Congressman Evan Lowe backed the bill

00:04:21.620 to the Associated Press saying, we need to stop stigmatizing what's acceptable for certain genders

00:04:25.880 and just let kids be kids. He said, quote, my hope is this bill encourages more businesses

00:04:30.600 across California and the U.S. to avoid reinforcing harmful and outdated stereotypes, Lowe said.

00:04:36.360 So, the bill will end the segregated apartheid-like conditions in toy stores in the state,

00:04:42.900 getting rid of gender labels and allowing toys to express their true gender-fluid identities.

00:04:48.780 This is all meant to reduce harmful stereotypes. Now, you may be wondering, if you're a sane person,

00:04:55.180 how exactly does the average toy section in the average store reinforce harmful stereotypes?

00:05:03.200 In fact, you may be wondering what a harmful stereotype even is or how a stereotype can be harmful.

00:05:09.820 Because literally all gender stereotypes and race stereotypes and ethnic stereotypes are grounded

00:05:15.700 in truth. That's how they become stereotypes. Which is why you have never in your life heard a

00:05:21.920 stereotype about a group of people and said to yourself, what? I've never seen anyone in that

00:05:26.000 group act that way. That's totally outlandish. No, stereotypes arise when we notice that certain

00:05:33.960 groups of people tend to act certain ways, generally speaking. It's not harmful. It's mostly just

00:05:40.580 neutral. Stereotypes are an observation made about groups. And yes, you can observe groups and the way

00:05:48.140 they behave just is what it is. Fortunately, California State Representative Evan Lowe does go

00:05:55.160 into more detail about this issue, trying to explain how and why gendered toys are dangerous.

00:06:01.760 He says, quote, part of it is to make sure that if you're a young girl, that you can find a police car,

00:06:06.640 a fire truck, a periodic table, because they have those in the toy section, or a dinosaur. And then

00:06:13.020 similarly, if you're a boy, if you're more artistic and want to play with glitter, why not?

00:06:16.880 Why should you feel the stigma of saying, oh, this should be shamed and going to a different

00:06:21.780 location? Now, first of all, this is perhaps neither here nor there, but as a parent, I believe glitter

00:06:28.780 should be shamed for both boys and girls. I mean, glitter is a plague that has been banned from my house

00:06:35.280 entirely for both genders. Glitter manufacturers should be raided by the FBI and forcibly shut down 1.00

00:06:42.260 and all of their employees thrown in federal prison. Even just one ounce of glitter will

00:06:48.000 produce a mess in your house that can never be cleaned up. A glitter spill is like, it's like

00:06:53.520 Chernobyl. I mean, you'll be dealing with the after effects three decades later. So the stuff is cursed

00:06:57.960 and should be legally banned. But anyway, aside from that, it appears that Evan Lowe is laboring under

00:07:04.300 the impression that without this law in place, girls were somehow physically prohibited from

00:07:10.240 entering the aisles where fire trucks and dinosaurs are sold. Or maybe he thought that these items were

00:07:17.000 hidden down some deep labyrinthine corridor where only those with Y chromosomes were allowed to enter.

00:07:23.400 But this was not the case. You know, without the gender neutral toy law, girls were easily able to 1.00

00:07:29.220 find fire trucks and police cars if they wanted them. In fact, girls could more easily find fire 1.00

00:07:34.460 trucks and police cars because you knew where to look. Things were organized in a way that made sense.

00:07:41.760 And there was nobody stopping them from buying them. You know, there was no toy store in California

00:07:47.400 or anywhere else in America where if a girl went to buy a fire truck, there'd be someone there standing 1.00

00:07:52.320 and pointing and laughing at them and saying, why are you buying that? You're a girl.

00:07:55.940 That literally has never happened in the history of toy purchases, ever. So this bill is, at the very

00:08:02.680 best, totally unnecessary, which ironically is something that the author of the bill basically

00:08:07.340 admitted back when the legislation was first passed. Watch.

00:08:12.480 Once this revised bill goes into effect, children's sections at large retailers like Target are going

00:08:18.520 to look quite different. Maybe one of these, right?

00:08:21.460 Assembly Bill 1085 to ban stores from displaying children's clothing and toys in separate boys and

00:08:28.180 girls sections. The bill was introduced by Bay Area Assemblyman Evan Lowe in February, requiring

00:08:34.040 stores with more than 500 employees like Target, Marshalls or Macy's to display children's clothing

00:08:40.040 and toys in one undivided area of its sales floor.

00:08:43.260 I am a parent of a trans child.

00:08:47.980 Parents sparked the conversation.

00:08:49.980 I still am in favor of combining things and then people can choose.

00:08:56.460 I think it's a wonderful idea to smush, um, girl, boy stuff together. 0.88

00:09:02.300 Some ask, why change it?

00:09:03.980 Just because it has a male and female designation doesn't mean that you can't walk to, you know,

00:09:10.140 a male toy and vice versa.

00:09:14.160 Let's just have a kid section.

00:09:15.940 News 8 reaches out to Lowe's office as he's aiming to reduce stigma and bullying.

00:09:20.700 In fact, he says remove it.

00:09:22.460 He provides a statement, quote, children should be able to express themselves freely and focus

00:09:26.780 on more important things than stereotypical gender norms.

00:09:29.680 Major retailers like Target and others support this legislation, and many of these businesses

00:09:34.600 already have gender neutral kids sections.

00:09:37.220 The state is actually playing catch up on this issue.

00:09:40.480 Toys are toys.

00:09:41.460 Let's make safe spaces for all children and let kids be kids.

00:09:46.280 So stores are already doing this, which is why we need a law requiring that they do the 0.84

00:09:50.840 thing they're already doing.

00:09:52.440 That appears to be the argument because it has to go one way or another, right?

00:09:55.720 Either this is a law that will impose on retailers the burdensome and utterly pointless task of

00:10:01.080 rearranging their stores to make the toy sections less organized and more difficult to navigate

00:10:06.320 for customers, or it's a law mandating something that's already happened.

00:10:12.160 So either the law is cumbersome and pointless or redundant and pointless, or I suppose cumbersome

00:10:19.420 and redundant and pointless.

00:10:20.880 It could be all those things.

00:10:22.520 I think it's likely in that third category.

00:10:23.920 But there's no scenario where the law is necessary or good.

00:10:29.660 And that's because, among other reasons, the gender binary is one of the fundamental, defining,

00:10:38.020 immutable realities of human existence.

00:10:41.240 And with it comes the obvious physical differences between sexes, but also, as we've alluded to,

00:10:46.680 the differences in tendencies and interests.

00:10:49.260 And that's why we've come to associate baby dolls with girls and toy trucks with boys.

00:10:56.680 They don't gravitate to their respective toys because we have made this association.

00:11:02.140 We have made the association because they gravitate that way.

00:11:07.840 Girls are natural nurturers and caretakers. 0.98

00:11:10.780 Boys are naturally builders and fighters.

00:11:13.720 That's why girls like the baby dolls, boys like the trucks and the action figures.

00:11:17.980 If left to their own devices, almost all girls and boys will go in those separate directions.

00:11:23.640 As like every parent in history has noticed.

00:11:28.040 So, the left doesn't want to free boys to play with dolls or girls to play with trucks.

00:11:35.740 They're already free to do that if they want to.

00:11:38.940 Instead, they want to engineer boys with feminine interests and girls with masculine interests. 0.83

00:11:46.020 They're not actually trying to break outside of the binary at all, which is not possible.

00:11:50.140 They're trying instead to confuse the picture within the binary.

00:11:55.100 And that's because, as we learn time and time again, you can't actually break outside of the binary.

00:12:02.120 It's not possible.

00:12:03.420 Which is why it's always funny to make note of the fact that the left inevitably ends up accidentally reinforcing the gender binary in their efforts to deconstruct it.

00:12:12.800 I mean, after all, if you walk into a section of the store and you see fire trucks and baby dolls next to each other and you say, oh, this must be a gender neutral section.

00:12:23.820 Well, then you're affirming the gender binary just by saying that.

00:12:27.980 You're acknowledging where those toys usually are and where they belong.

00:12:31.940 And now you see that they're together.

00:12:33.360 Oh, it makes it gender neutral.

00:12:36.300 And laws requiring such arrangements are also affirming it.

00:12:39.060 This is the terrible fact that the left can't get around no matter how hard it tries.

00:12:43.960 The terrible fact, which is not terrible at all in my view, is the gender binary. 1.00

00:12:48.600 There are two sexes. 0.58

00:12:50.300 And those two sexes have distinct features and functions.

00:12:53.920 And they have certain tendencies and proclivities.

00:12:57.320 And there's literally nothing you can do to escape that fact.

00:13:00.440 And by the way, the stores that have tried to, as mentioned, Target, they made a big deal in 2015 when they said, oh, we're going gender neutral.

00:13:11.580 Well, if you go into a Target now, which you shouldn't, you'll find that after all of that hype, they still have the store separated by boys and girls.

00:13:21.140 They just don't call it boy and girl sections.

00:13:23.940 But they still have a section where you get the superheroes and you have the action figures and you have the trucks and the dinosaurs and all that stuff is together.

00:13:30.860 And then you got the other stuff that's got a lot of pink and there's girl stuff and there's the baby dolls and Barbies.

00:13:36.040 And they still have a group that way.

00:13:38.160 Because it turns out that that's just like, that's how it makes sense to group them.

00:13:42.820 And most of the customers that are interested in the trucks, they're also the ones that are going to be interested in the dinosaurs.

00:13:47.080 This is what happens when you try to make non-binary toy sections or, by the way, non-binary people, for that matter.

00:13:55.340 You know, a person who identifies as non-binary will usually end up dressing in some weird clashing combination of male and female clothing. 1.00

00:14:03.960 This person, let's say a woman, for example, will be very careful to incorporate feminine and masculine elements in the way that she dresses and comports herself. 0.99

00:14:12.220 Or at least that's what she'll try to do. 0.89

00:14:13.680 And usually she'll still end up looking like a woman, just a woman with a goofy sense of style. 0.99

00:14:18.540 But even if she succeeds in appearing like some kind of mismatched, jumbled Mrs. Potato Head doll with male and female elements mixed together, still she has not escaped the binary.

00:14:30.700 Because still she only has male and female elements to work with. 1.00

00:14:34.800 There is no third or fourth category.

00:14:37.660 You can be a woman who looks like a woman, or you can be a woman who looks a little bit like a man. 1.00

00:14:41.320 Or you can be a woman who looks like some sort of avant-garde combination.

00:14:45.160 But no matter what you are, or where you are, you're still stuck in the binary.

00:14:50.580 Those are the only pieces you have to work with.

00:14:52.920 Those are the only categories that exist.

00:14:57.460 And in fact, the more you try to escape the binary, the more you make yourself into a reminder of it. 0.61

00:16:16.540 So Tucker Carlson reported something extremely disturbing on Twitter yesterday.

00:16:22.060 His tweet says,

00:16:22.540 He didn't say that part.

00:16:42.300 He said that's now what Tucker Carlson said.

00:16:44.800 Well, he did say that.

00:16:45.780 He didn't say that verbatim, but that's basically the message.

00:16:49.180 Now, Tucker says that this statement from Lloyd Austin was confirmed, and his post did get a community note with readers adding context.

00:16:58.820 But the context actually just gives the report more credibility.

00:17:01.660 So the community note links to an article in the Messenger that says this.

00:17:07.180 Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin warned Congress on Tuesday that if lawmakers fail to pass more aid to Ukraine, that it very likely will lead to U.S. troops on the ground in Europe defending NATO allies in other countries that Russia may target next.

00:17:19.360 Quote, if Putin takes over Ukraine, he'll get Moldova, Georgia, then maybe the Baltics.

00:17:24.100 This is according to House Foreign Affairs Chairman Michael McCaul.

00:17:26.500 And then the idea that we'll have to put the troops on the ground, and Secretary Austin's word was very likely, and that's what we're trying to avoid.

00:17:36.900 Okay, so yes, confirmed.

00:17:38.120 The Defense Secretary threatened to send our children and family members to go die overseas if we don't give more money to Zelensky.

00:17:46.200 And that is exactly what happened.

00:17:48.980 So, you know, I just cannot fully articulate my contempt for these people. 0.99

00:17:56.500 These, and I don't want to put too fine a point on it or be dramatic, but let's just say these subhuman reptilian scumbags who would use our children as cannon fodder to advance their globalist agenda. 0.99

00:18:13.040 I mean, we should be furious about this kind of thing. 0.98

00:18:14.900 I know a lot of us already are, but we all should be.

00:18:16.820 The very idea that your children could be sent to die in defense of some other country, some country that has never done anything for you, by the way, ever.

00:18:30.820 That concept should fill you with rage.

00:18:33.420 And on that point, just ask yourself, what the hell has Ukraine ever done for America?

00:18:44.980 What has it ever done for our people, for your family?

00:18:48.840 So this is the same story over and over again.

00:18:54.280 They give us some foreign country.

00:18:55.400 They say we should care deeply about that country.

00:18:57.040 Think of those people.

00:18:57.840 Think about what they're...

00:18:58.880 When do they ever think about us?

00:19:00.780 Do they care about us?

00:19:01.740 Like, what have they ever done, ever, to demonstrate any concern about us whatsoever?

00:19:06.640 We're just supposed to be in all these, like, abusive, neglectful relationships, like these one-sided relationships, where we're doing everything all the time, and the other person in the relationship does nothing.

00:19:23.200 Absolutely nothing.

00:19:25.660 Ukraine has done nothing for us, ever.

00:19:28.340 And we're supposed to care.

00:19:30.780 And not that it matters.

00:19:32.020 I mean, no matter how Ukraine feels about America, it's still not our country, so it's not our fight.

00:19:36.640 But one of the quotes here, I don't...

00:19:40.780 I'm not sure if I read it.

00:19:43.660 This same...

00:19:44.380 McCall, the same congressman, said that if U.S. pulls support from Ukraine, we lose all of our goodwill with our NATO allies, and no one's going to trust us again.

00:19:55.300 So we've got to keep giving them money so that we don't lose goodwill.

00:19:59.240 I've got a question.

00:20:00.040 Why are we the only nation on Earth that has to constantly buy goodwill by giving every other nation...

00:20:06.640 money?

00:20:09.100 And as you know, I'm a simple man.

00:20:12.060 I think of things in simple ways.

00:20:14.400 And so when I hear that, that's the first thing I think.

00:20:16.600 And I know I'm going to be told, well, it's more complicated than that.

00:20:18.680 You know, it's a lot more...

00:20:19.560 It's very complicated.

00:20:21.200 You don't understand global politics.

00:20:22.960 It's a complicated arena.

00:20:25.880 You know, it's actually not all that complicated.

00:20:28.380 And so when I'm told that we have to constantly give everyone else money, and if we don't, it's like we've committed some crime against them.

00:20:38.580 So it's like we owe them our money.

00:20:43.440 And when we say our money, we're not talking about the government's money.

00:20:46.840 It's our money.

00:20:47.620 It's out of our pockets.

00:20:50.340 That's how tax money works, in case you didn't realize.

00:20:52.740 So what we're told all the time is that we...

00:20:56.660 It's insane, okay?

00:20:57.800 It's crazy.

00:20:59.780 The whole concept is crazy.

00:21:02.760 That we, as Americans, as individual Americans, American families, we owe this money to all of these countries?

00:21:10.680 And if we don't give it, then they'll be mad that we didn't give them something that we owe them?

00:21:15.360 I don't care.

00:21:19.280 Let them be mad.

00:21:20.100 We lose that...

00:21:20.580 What do we need their goodwill for?

00:21:23.760 So we lose the goodwill of NATO, okay?

00:21:26.820 Who cares?

00:21:27.400 What does that mean?

00:21:28.460 What are they going to do?

00:21:29.200 Are they going to be sad about it?

00:21:32.960 If we come back around and try to offer them money in the future, are they not going to take it?

00:21:36.840 Are they going to say, well, now I don't want it?

00:21:41.020 No, the goodwill is just us paying off all these countries all the time.

00:21:45.920 So we can stop paying them off.

00:21:47.960 And if we really feel like in the future we need to buy their goodwill again, we can easily do it.

00:21:58.280 You know, but no other countries have to do this.

00:22:02.160 And I still would like to know what we need their goodwill for.

00:22:05.880 Don't tell me it's complicated.

00:22:07.220 Like, really, what...

00:22:08.480 So the goodwill of NATO, in what material ways does that help?

00:22:15.200 The average American family having their goodwill.

00:22:19.900 What if we didn't have their goodwill?

00:22:21.280 How would it change anything?

00:22:24.480 When I look at the situation of the average American family and how it is right now with the goodwill of NATO,

00:22:29.360 and then let's say we lost their goodwill, would I notice any changes?

00:22:38.760 And this is the thing, my whole life, and probably your whole life, depending on how old you are,

00:22:42.480 but really it doesn't matter how old you are unless you're like 100.

00:22:45.180 So all of our lives, we've been getting, we've been off getting involved in these foreign entanglements and foreign wars.

00:22:54.260 And, you know, it's always for these abstract, conjectural, immaterial concepts like goodwill and advancing democracy and so on.

00:23:10.040 But how does any of this ever materialize into anything that benefits American families?

00:23:16.980 We've been going to war and we've been sending money and resources and guns and everything overseas for decades,

00:23:23.840 all to accrue all that goodwill and to advance all that democracy.

00:23:29.260 How is it, at what point do we get to start cashing in on any of this?

00:23:33.360 See, fighting in self-defense, that makes sense.

00:23:37.340 That's an immediate, direct, okay.

00:23:39.820 Even fighting for resources, fighting for land, that's something that's solid and real.

00:23:47.600 Wars have always been fought for those reasons.

00:23:49.640 Not always justly, sometimes justly, depends on the circumstances.

00:23:55.300 But these days, whether it's, whether it's, whether it's really about resources or not,

00:24:01.160 we're always given these abstract, esoteric reasons for why we have to send the money,

00:24:08.460 why we have to send weapons, why we have to get involved.

00:24:15.040 It's never anything direct and immediate.

00:24:17.160 It's always, well, goodwill, good feelings, the respect of the world.

00:24:23.800 And we're supposed to just keep spending hundreds of billions of dollars every year on that basis.

00:24:32.960 And I'm, I would say I'm sick of it, but that's, I'm significantly past being sick of it at this point.

00:24:42.900 Okay, here's an article from The Advocate with this headline. 0.97

00:24:46.340 Matt Walsh said having gay parents is worse than a child having a limb cut off. 0.96

00:24:54.380 The article says Matt Walsh called gay parenthood a selfish act of human trafficking 0.99

00:24:58.360 akin to the intentional amputation of limbs from a voiceless newborn child.

00:25:03.160 He also said that it is more advantageous for a child to live without a limb

00:25:06.080 than to be raised by gay parents without either a mother or a father. 0.61

00:25:11.000 Walsh made the statements on yesterday's edition of the Daily Wire's Matt Walsh show.

00:25:13.740 During the podcast, he explicitly called gay surrogacy human trafficking by definition

00:25:19.120 and denigrated the practice saying that the adopted newborn baby is, quote,

00:25:23.460 immediately torn away from the woman who birthed him

00:25:25.560 to be intentionally raised without a mother or father.

00:25:29.300 Okay, so now this is interesting because they're correct about everything that I said there.

00:25:34.260 I did say all of that and I'd say it again.

00:25:37.820 I'd say it again.

00:25:39.640 I mean, I've said it many times.

00:25:41.780 But they're wrong.

00:25:42.920 They're intentionally wrong on one important detail.

00:25:46.660 There's one thing they're wrong about. 0.98

00:25:48.500 I did not say that gay parenthood is human trafficking or worse than having limbs cut off.

00:25:55.960 What I said is that commercial surrogacy and raising children to be intentionally motherless or fatherless 0.95

00:26:05.080 equals human trafficking and is worse than a child having a limb cut off.

00:26:09.260 A child being raised without a mother or father intentionally is even more harmful than a child being raised without a limb is what I was saying.

00:26:19.440 Now, that was the point.

00:26:22.420 Now, it's true that gay parenthood inevitably involves both of those things, surrogacy and motherless or fatherless kids. 0.99

00:26:31.560 So, yes, gay parenthood fits the bill. 1.00

00:26:34.440 I'm not backing away from that. 0.92

00:26:35.560 One iota.

00:26:37.020 It falls under this principle.

00:26:38.700 But it is actually an important point, and it's not semantics, that I'm not singling gay parenthood out.

00:26:47.040 I'm simply refusing to make it an arbitrary exception.

00:26:51.320 So, they're not mad at me for singling it out.

00:26:56.680 They're actually mad at me for not singling gay parenthood out.

00:27:00.660 I'm talking about what a child needs.

00:27:03.940 A child needs a mother and father.

00:27:06.840 And then they come along and they say, well, except if they have gay parents, it's different, right? 0.93

00:27:13.960 No, it's not different.

00:27:14.860 It's, like, definitely not different.

00:27:17.620 Kids need a mother and father. 0.99

00:27:18.820 Well, but what if it's two dads and they're gay? 0.98

00:27:21.640 I don't care if they get this. 0.89

00:27:23.280 No, that must be okay.

00:27:25.160 No, it's not okay.

00:27:26.960 Because a child still needs a mother and a father. 0.56

00:27:31.020 So, again, the principle is that, to phrase the principle in a positive way, children need a mother and father.

00:27:38.020 Intentionally depriving a child of either a mother or father is always wrong.

00:27:43.100 And that's the principle.

00:27:44.620 It's very simple.

00:27:45.140 It applies to straight couples who use commercial surrogacy.

00:27:49.760 That's also human trafficking. 0.90

00:27:53.660 It applies to single parents by choice, which is a thing that exists in this modern dystopia of ours. 0.77

00:28:00.640 And it applies to gay couples. 0.56

00:28:02.020 Now, I think there are degrees.

00:28:07.880 I don't think that all these things are necessarily the same in terms of how disordered they are.

00:28:13.080 So, there are some degrees there.

00:28:14.860 But they are all wrong for the same reason, which is that they deprive a child of what is natural and right and good and necessary for that child.

00:28:30.180 Every child has a mother and a father.

00:28:35.000 Every child needs a mother and a father.

00:28:37.820 And to intentionally set up a situation where a child will not have one of those things or either is bad.

00:28:46.180 And that's it.

00:28:48.780 And so, you could come up with any example you want.

00:28:50.340 Well, what about someone like this?

00:28:51.380 Yep, if they fall into that category of intentionally depriving a child of what the child needs, it's wrong.

00:29:00.300 I don't make exceptions.

00:29:05.100 You know, it's really no different from the marriage debate itself.

00:29:08.760 Which is that our argument has always been that marriage is fundamentally, by its nature, a monogamous, permanent, fundamentally procreative union.

00:29:26.980 And for those of us who believe in the sacrament of marriage and what it definitionally is, you know, that's our argument.

00:29:42.740 And we want, the law should affirm that.

00:29:46.180 It should affirm what it actually is.

00:29:49.020 Gay marriage, so-called gay marriage, falls outside of that.

00:29:53.240 So, we're not going to make, you know, it's the same argument there.

00:29:58.040 Really, the gay activists came along and they said, okay, well, you say that marriage is that.

00:30:03.860 Which is like, it's not like a, here's the point. 0.94

00:30:05.380 It's not a definition we came up with because we wanted to be bullies and exclude gay people. 0.98

00:30:12.340 It's just what marriage is. 0.64

00:30:15.240 And then the gay activists come along and say, well, but can we make an exception for this one group over here?

00:30:19.460 This is my favorite group.

00:30:20.340 Can we make an exception?

00:30:21.740 No.

00:30:23.240 Well, you're bullying them.

00:30:24.520 How are we bullying them?

00:30:25.680 We have a universal principle.

00:30:27.300 We stand by it.

00:30:31.580 We're just not going to make an exception.

00:30:32.980 Just because it's your favorite group, we don't make an exception for them.

00:30:35.760 We can't.

00:30:37.620 And that's the other very important point.

00:30:39.760 It's not that we're like choosing not to make an exception.

00:30:41.880 We can't.

00:30:43.780 Marriage is what it is.

00:30:44.740 I can't change what it is even if I wanted to.

00:30:46.520 And I don't.

00:30:49.760 And children need what children need.

00:30:51.320 I can't change that even if I wanted to, which I don't.

00:30:56.180 All right.

00:30:57.300 Let's see.

00:30:57.840 What else do we got here?

00:31:00.260 Okay.

00:31:01.480 Yeah, I do want to mention this.

00:31:02.400 We're told that we've talked about California to start the show.

00:31:04.860 So we're now being told that the folks in California, especially in places like L.A., they're getting fed up.

00:31:11.640 They're fed up.

00:31:13.040 They're done.

00:31:14.560 They're angry.

00:31:15.600 And here's a local Fox report, which is interviewing one of those very fed up Los Angeles residents.

00:31:22.600 Let's watch.

00:31:24.060 And caught on camera at a local construction company in L.A.'s Glassell Park.

00:31:28.660 Several thieves are involved.

00:31:30.340 And tonight, that owner tells us he's frustrated.

00:31:33.180 This whole strip has been broken due.

00:31:35.660 Our neighbors have broken due four times.

00:31:37.520 These guys just got broken due two months ago.

00:31:39.420 What are we supposed to do?

00:31:40.020 We're a small construction company.

00:31:41.940 Ryan Bagley, the latest victim on this Glassell Park Street, to get burglarized by several thieves.

00:31:47.740 So many, it's hard to count as you watch them file into and out of Bagley's business, Delta Construction and Electric.

00:31:56.280 They smashed into our gate over there, smashed our gate into here, 15 dudes come pouring in. 1.00

00:32:02.800 Delta security cameras capturing the destructive mayhem about 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

00:32:07.980 The getaway car, this blue Kia Soul, Bagley says, was stolen from LAPD's impound yard.

00:32:14.480 The cops just knew that it was from LAPD impound because of the chalk mark on the window.

00:32:18.640 That Kia Soul taking out a gate so the hooded suspects could make entry.

00:32:23.440 Hi, you are currently being recorded.

00:32:25.780 Inside, they took whatever they could carry, including music equipment Bagley and his brother, former band members, stored inside.

00:32:34.380 You can hear the alarm and spot a guitar.

00:32:37.740 Stole six of our guitars, a bunch of studio mics and stuff like that.

00:32:41.300 Rustled some stuff out, some construction on our construction side.

00:32:45.180 They stole a bunch of tools.

00:32:46.620 Thousands of dollars worth of valuables demolished doors and gates.

00:32:50.940 Bagley says the alarm company woke him at 5.03 a.m. and the break-in was still underway and he managed to get there even before cops.

00:32:59.800 But the suspects were gone.

00:33:01.540 I came in ready to rustle them out of there and just be like, you know, I wanted to at least take down a few of them.

00:33:07.460 His business now boarded up and Bagley is fed up with the break-ins and elected officials.

00:33:13.600 I voted for Karen Bass, I voted for Biden, I voted for Gavin Newsom.

00:33:17.440 I'm sick of it.

00:33:18.620 It's like at some point you have to give me a reason to vote for you again.

00:33:21.280 Or just do our jobs, make a living, help our employees make a good living and move on.

00:33:26.200 But it's really freaking difficult to survive.

00:33:28.300 Yeah, so I watched that, I'd have to say that, and you know that I'm obviously, according to a lot of people anyway, a cruel, heartless person.

00:33:36.840 So maybe it won't surprise me.

00:33:37.760 Maybe it's just that when I say that I have no sympathy for this guy whatsoever.

00:33:43.500 Any chance of me having sympathy evaporated with his second sentence where he said,

00:33:52.880 if you want me to vote for you again, like, how is that even a possibility that you'll vote for them again?

00:33:58.480 I voted for Karen Bass, I voted for Newsom, I voted for Biden.

00:34:02.440 Look, I voted for all these people, I voted again and again and again for people that have caused this problem.

00:34:07.360 And sure, I might vote for them.

00:34:09.100 I'm willing to vote for the people that have caused this problem again, but you have to lie to me first.

00:34:15.120 That's what he's basically saying.

00:34:18.320 So any chance of having sympathy is out the window.

00:34:20.040 That you not only have continued to vote for people who have made your life worse,

00:34:26.300 but you are apparently willing to continue doing so.

00:34:32.340 And at least he's being honest about it.

00:34:35.500 Because almost all these voters in these cities have voted for the people who have facilitated the destruction of their own communities.

00:34:42.900 And they just continue doing it.

00:34:46.140 They'll vote for them again.

00:34:48.220 They'll just continue voting for the people.

00:34:50.780 And it will never stop.

00:34:52.180 It's a collective, community-wide suicide that they have decided to commit.

00:35:03.640 And here's the thing.

00:35:06.740 I can be, in some cases, I can have sympathy for people who are lied to by a politician,

00:35:17.040 who fall for a lie that a politician tells.

00:35:20.660 And then they vote for a politician because they think a politician is going to do a certain thing.

00:35:25.200 He doesn't do it.

00:35:26.580 And they've been betrayed.

00:35:27.760 Like, in some of those cases, I can feel sorry for the voters there.

00:35:34.940 Now, in many of those cases, like, you should have known that they were lying to you.

00:35:39.020 So wake the hell up.

00:35:41.560 You're the reason why I openly call for restricting voting rights 1.00

00:35:45.860 so that people that are as gullible and stupid as you will be disenfranchised. 1.00

00:35:51.380 Like, I don't think that, you know, for many of these kinds of voters, 1.00

00:35:55.160 I think you're so stupid that you should not have the right to participate in democracy at all. 1.00

00:36:01.880 But, you know, there are times when even intelligent people can be fooled and lied to. 1.00

00:36:06.820 We lie to so much that it can be overwhelming.

00:36:09.540 But here's the point.

00:36:13.320 These people that are running California and running Los Angeles and San Francisco and these cities,

00:36:18.640 they're not even really lying.

00:36:21.380 OK, they're not even pretending that they're going to clean up the cities.

00:36:26.540 These aren't broken promises.

00:36:28.900 No, these are promises fulfilled.

00:36:32.180 They are keeping their promises.

00:36:36.740 You know, none of these people have even claimed that they're not out there saying,

00:36:41.620 look, I'm going to clean up the streets.

00:36:42.540 We're going to get rid of these criminals.

00:36:43.760 We're going to we're going to tamp down on this.

00:36:46.060 It's going to be where there's a law and order justice.

00:36:48.480 Truth, justice in the American way.

00:36:51.960 They're not running based on that.

00:36:54.580 Like I said, if they were.

00:36:57.600 And then and you had a politician who was who was pretending that he was going to,

00:37:03.160 you know.

00:37:05.480 Throw the book at these criminals and clean up the streets and he's saying all the right things.

00:37:09.880 And then you vote for me doesn't do it.

00:37:13.120 Yeah, I could have some sympathy.

00:37:16.200 But like Gavin Newsom.

00:37:18.560 Has Gavin Newsom even pretended.

00:37:21.840 That he's going to try to protect your business from being raided by 15 hoodlums in the middle of the night.

00:37:27.080 No, what you get from people like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass and all the rest of them.

00:37:33.240 Biden.

00:37:34.700 Is either they deny, you know, the problems that you're having your community, they deny it.

00:37:40.080 So you're crying out and saying this is happening in our community.

00:37:42.500 It's falling apart.

00:37:43.500 And they're just.

00:37:45.740 They got the blinders on and the earplugs in.

00:37:49.280 And they're pretending they can't see or hear you.

00:37:51.040 Or, in some cases, they're openly justifying it.

00:37:57.600 You know, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez saying that the looters are hungry and want bread.

00:38:02.160 Even as we see the videos of them, you know, running out of stores with handfuls of clothing and shoes and liquor.

00:38:09.740 Not bread.

00:38:11.320 So, these voters are not really being fooled.

00:38:15.520 They're not actually being lied to.

00:38:18.260 They are getting exactly what these leaders promised them.

00:38:26.760 Which was more chaos.

00:38:30.000 And a community that is less livable.

00:38:33.620 All right, before we get to the next segment, this is also.

00:38:37.200 Well, I just find this hilarious, frankly.

00:38:40.800 Hilarious in a dark, morbid kind of way.

00:38:42.680 So, there's a controversy today after it was revealed that the head coach of the Buffalo Bills, his name is Sean McDermott.

00:38:49.440 A few years ago, apparently, he gave an inspiring speech to his team where he used the 9-11 hijackers as examples of teamwork.

00:38:58.540 Okay?

00:38:58.920 He called on the team to work together as a team just like the 9-11 hijackers.

00:39:04.840 This is from AP.

00:39:08.000 An emotional Buffalo Bills coach, Sean McDermott, acknowledged regret on Thursday for crediting the 9-11 hijackers for their coordination during a team meeting four years ago.

00:39:19.600 McDermott had cited the hijackers while stressing the importance of communication.

00:39:26.880 McDermott had cited the hijackers.

00:39:28.560 Upon realizing how this message was being interpreted, McDermott said he called a second meeting an hour later to apologize to his players.

00:39:40.800 So, there's a lot more details about this, but that's the basic idea.

00:39:44.020 He called all the team together.

00:39:46.540 He had this whole, apparently, this whole big speech about the 9-11 hijackers and why they're examples of teamwork.

00:39:54.760 And then he regretted it almost instantly.

00:39:59.880 And apparently, he looked around and said, wow, this is not landing.

00:40:03.240 This is not working out.

00:40:04.700 I don't know why.

00:40:05.340 This is not resonating.

00:40:08.040 And then he called the team back like an hour later and apologized to them.

00:40:12.120 And now, a couple years later, he's apologizing again.

00:40:14.140 Here he is yesterday at a press conference addressing some of this.

00:40:16.880 I want to reference the team meeting that has been brought up.

00:40:24.680 My intent in the meeting that day was to discuss the importance of communication and being on the same page with the team.

00:40:33.420 I regretted mentioning 9-11 in my message that day, and I immediately apologized to the team.

00:40:43.400 Not only was 9-11 a horrific event in our country's history, but a day that I lost a good family friend.

00:40:54.880 And so, with that, I'll turn it over to answer any questions you might have.

00:40:58.100 Okay, so, I'm just, I'm trying to get inside his head.

00:41:03.080 So, you, you, you want to give a message, inspiring message about teamwork and, like, communication and dedication surrounding 9-11.

00:41:14.260 That's not so bizarre.

00:41:17.040 But rather than going with the first responders and, like, firefighters, you went with the hijackers as the example.

00:41:24.580 This is like if you run a restaurant and you want to inspire your line cooks, so you tell them to be as innovative and creative in the kitchen as Jeffrey Dahmer.

00:41:33.160 I mean, it's, like, the worst possible example you could possibly choose.

00:41:36.300 And you always have to wonder, again, this is why I always find these kind of stories fascinating.

00:41:40.680 When somebody steps so willingly into it.

00:41:44.920 And there are plenty, you know, in this cancel culture age, people get in trouble for saying all kinds of things that are pretty innocuous.

00:41:51.260 And I don't think this guy should be in trouble.

00:41:52.660 I don't think he should get fired for it.

00:41:53.820 But this is, you know, it is actually objectionable.

00:41:57.140 And so, in that case, you have to wonder, like, what is going through your head?

00:42:02.160 Because McDermott thought of this analogy.

00:42:04.860 He had a whole speech, I guess, that he either planned in his head or he wrote.

00:42:07.760 I don't know, had it all planned out.

00:42:11.140 And it didn't occur to you that maybe there might be, you know, at best, mixed feelings on the team about this kind of, you know, story.

00:42:24.320 I mean, and you didn't think maybe there could be more appropriate examples of teamwork than 9-11 hijackers?

00:42:30.560 Hey, team, gather around, take a knee.

00:42:32.380 You know, through the history of the game, there have been some teams that have exemplified teamwork and dedication and communication.

00:42:40.660 2007 Patriots, the 1972 Miami Dolphins, the 9-11 hijackers.

00:42:45.760 And look, I also want to say, it's really nothing to be offended by, honestly.

00:42:52.420 Like, you know, the guy shouldn't be fired, as I said.

00:42:54.480 This is not, this is the kind of thing.

00:42:56.860 Obviously, 9-11, of course, is not funny.

00:42:58.720 It's a terrible tragedy.

00:43:00.240 This kind of thing is, like, yes, it's funny because it's so absurd. 1.00

00:43:04.320 And when someone just says something incredibly stupid, we should be able to, as a society, say, yeah, that was really dumb. 0.97

00:43:14.900 And just kind of laugh it off, especially if they acknowledge, you know, people should be allowed to do that, even if it's something pretty. 0.99

00:43:22.580 This is the kind of mistake that probably most people wouldn't make, but still.

00:43:25.500 It should be possible for us, as a society, to say, wow, you said that? 1.00

00:43:32.240 That was dumb. 1.00

00:43:33.680 Why the hell did you say that, you dummy? 1.00

00:43:35.760 And then the person can respond, you know what, you're right. 1.00

00:43:37.400 That was stupid. 1.00

00:43:37.880 I shouldn't have said it. 1.00

00:43:38.480 And then we just move on.

00:43:39.360 That's it.

00:43:39.880 That's all you have to do. 1.00

00:43:42.500 Especially with football players and football coaches, because the other thing you have to remember is that, you know, these people are pretty stupid. 1.00

00:43:49.420 They are. 1.00

00:43:49.840 And I say that as a football fan, and I don't mean any disrespect to them.

00:43:52.380 They're very smart at what they do.

00:43:54.900 A football coach is smart at strategizing football games.

00:43:59.120 As far as that goes, they're brilliant.

00:44:00.520 I mean, an NFL head coach, you know, his way of drawing up plays and all that, I mean, none of us could do that.

00:44:08.680 But they've spent their whole lives thinking only about that.

00:44:12.740 I mean, the only thing that they've thought about their entire lives, really, is just football.

00:44:17.500 And so outside of that, they don't know anything.

00:44:21.920 Which is fine.

00:44:22.760 They're specialists.

00:44:23.240 This is what they specialize in.

00:44:24.900 But they know nothing outside of that.

00:44:26.840 Which is also why it's very silly when we listen to any of these people, you know, when they preach about politics or social issues.

00:44:33.920 Because when they're thinking only about a sport, and then they glance over for five seconds at some other issue and give their thought on it, it doesn't, it's not going to be a well-thought-out idea.

00:44:50.960 We know that.

00:44:51.360 You know, since Roe v. Wade was overturned, the left has lost their minds making abortion their official sacrament.

00:45:09.600 But the grassroots pro-life efforts, which are now more important than ever, are booming.

00:45:13.880 Despite the narrative, pro-lifers have not gone away.

00:45:15.860 In fact, they've increased in number.

00:45:17.480 One of the efforts I support is 40 Days for Life because they're changing hearts and minds in blue pro-abortion states.

00:45:22.700 With one million volunteers in 1,600 cities, 40 Days for Life holds peaceful vigils outside abortion facilities.

00:45:28.700 40 Days for Life has opened a record number of locations since Roe was overturned, and they've grown in volunteers.

00:45:33.780 This success has come, unfortunately, with new unwanted attention from the DOJ.

00:45:39.280 40 Days for Life recently made national headlines because they're suing the DOJ on behalf of their volunteer, Mark Houck, who was raided by the FBI.

00:45:47.580 We've talked about them on the show.

00:45:48.840 They're going on offense against our compromised FBI and DOJ.

00:45:52.860 You can help them fight their ongoing legal battles and pursue free speech for their volunteers, including Mark Houck, by giving a tax-deductible gift of any amount at 40daysforlife.com.

00:46:03.280 That's 40daysforlife.com.

00:46:06.140 Okay, first, last comment on the dinks, but I had one other, just one other comment I thought was worth reading for that.

00:46:14.140 This is from Tolis.

00:46:15.660 This says, Matt, some of your videos are pretty good, and some others make you sound like a Karen.

00:46:19.920 This is definitely one of those.

00:46:21.320 You took some weird TikTok videos and made them a standard approach for all the childless parents.

00:46:25.880 Some couples wouldn't be good parents, and that knowledge prevents them from having kids.

00:46:29.740 Others struggle financially.

00:46:31.900 Also, I know many parents that died alone or thrown into a nursing home.

00:46:35.180 Let me also say that having kids so you can be remembered is equally vain as some of the vain benefits mentioned by the TikTokers. 0.96

00:46:42.860 I just wanted to admit, because I've already addressed most of this, but that last point of yours, that the desire to be remembered and to leave a legacy is vain.

00:46:51.980 I very much disagree.

00:46:56.320 And, you know, it's actually the opposite of, we think, it's really the opposite of vanity in a lot of ways, because vanity is superficial, fleeting, you know, it's that shallow, you know, that's a vain person.

00:47:11.300 And that's what we mean when we talk about vanity.

00:47:16.660 But the desire to leave a legacy, that's a basic human impulse, okay?

00:47:24.420 That is one of the things that has driven people to the greatest heights that a human can achieve.

00:47:34.800 Most of the greatest things that have ever been done in history have been done, at least in large part, in the name of legacy, in the name of being remembered.

00:47:47.000 So, no, that's not vanity.

00:47:51.420 Vanity is living your whole life structured around being able to buy snacks at Costco.

00:47:56.500 That's vanity in every respect.

00:47:58.000 It's self-centered, it's shallow, it's superficial, it's nothing, okay?

00:48:02.360 It's a life of nothingness.

00:48:05.420 But you live a life and you make choices because you want to be remembered.

00:48:10.620 And you want to leave a legacy behind, well, that is going to drive you to do big and important and consequential things.

00:48:22.040 One of which, you know, is being a parent.

00:48:27.580 And it's also not vain because, you know, vanity and selfishness, I mean, these are things that, it's self-serving in the moment.

00:48:36.440 Like, you're doing something because you want to benefit from it right now.

00:48:40.620 I don't want to have kids because I want to take a nap.

00:48:42.940 I want to be able to nap.

00:48:43.840 I want to be able to buy stuff for myself right now.

00:48:46.100 I want to buy snacks.

00:48:46.940 Like, I want to go on vacations.

00:48:50.420 The desire to be remembered, though, you're not even going to, I mean, by definition, you're not around.

00:48:54.840 This is in death.

00:48:57.020 You're thinking forward to a time when you're not even going to be here on earth physically to reap the benefits of it.

00:49:04.360 And so you're taking a more timeless sort of eternal perspective.

00:49:11.400 And that's exactly how we should all live.

00:49:14.360 That's exactly how, what we should prioritize.

00:49:17.160 Don says, when this war started, I really believe that a Russian victory would lead to a horrible, brutal march across Western Europe and then a world war. 0.91

00:49:30.060 It's become so obvious in the year since that this is simply not true.

00:49:33.280 And this is why, you know, common sense, common sense can't take you everywhere in life.

00:49:40.600 It can't solve every problem for you.

00:49:42.760 And there are, there's plenty of situations where you need to have a deeper knowledge of something to really be able to get to the right answer.

00:49:47.620 But common sense can get you a large part of the way there.

00:49:50.160 And so I've admitted all along on any foreign policy issue, you know, I'm, I am happy and quick to say that I'm not an expert in this area.

00:50:00.780 I don't pay a lot of attention to foreign policy stuff.

00:50:02.960 I don't care that much about it.

00:50:05.320 I can't, you know, you can't care about everything and you can't pay attention to everything.

00:50:08.960 And you can't be, have great insights on every topic in the world.

00:50:15.020 And so, you know, we all have areas that we kind of focus on and areas that we don't focus on.

00:50:19.500 And for me, it's foreign policy.

00:50:22.080 That said, I do like to think I have a pretty good finely tuned common sense, finely tuned BS detector and some basic common sense.

00:50:31.820 And so even if I'm not any sort of expert in the long running disputes between Ukraine and Russia,

00:50:38.800 when I heard early on this concern that Russia would take over Ukraine and then keep marching and eventually conquer all of Europe,

00:50:46.840 it's like, I don't think I need to be a foreign policy expert to say, no, I don't think it's going to happen.

00:50:51.900 I just don't, that doesn't sound, that doesn't sound right at all.

00:50:55.280 That does not sound like something we really need to worry about.

00:50:58.700 That sounds absurd to me.

00:51:00.940 I'm just not worried about that happening.

00:51:02.720 Okay, I'm not worried about Russia, they conquer all of Europe, and the next thing you know, they're on, you know, they're moving up the Chesapeake Bay. 0.97

00:51:11.960 I mean, I'm not, I'm just not worried about that happening.

00:51:14.000 I don't think it's going to happen.

00:51:16.100 And it sounds like a kind of ludicrous, worst case scenario.

00:51:21.100 And I think that that has been borne out by the facts.

00:51:26.920 Brian says, so according to Chris Christie's principles, if fentanyl was legalized tomorrow,

00:51:31.400 he would trust parents to decide whether or not to dose their own children.

00:51:35.660 The man is not thinking clearly.

00:51:37.640 That's one example that proves why Chris Christie's idea that we should trust parents and just say whatever,

00:51:42.040 if parents want, it's a decision for parents to make.

00:51:44.420 I mean, that's one example that proves why that's an absurd idea.

00:51:52.280 And it's a, he states it as a universal principle, but if you try to universally apply it, you run into absurdities like this.

00:52:02.060 This is one example.

00:52:03.080 I mean, there's, there are millions of examples.

00:52:06.280 So he's saying, trust parents, parents can make choices.

00:52:08.820 I mean, there's like literally millions of examples you'd come up with to say,

00:52:13.240 well, you wouldn't trust parents to do that, would you?

00:52:15.160 What about this?

00:52:15.780 What about that?

00:52:16.280 What about this?

00:52:16.680 Do you think parents should be allowed to do that?

00:52:18.440 No, it's like there are, there are so many things that we all agree parents should not be allowed to do,

00:52:23.560 even if we believe in parental rights.

00:52:27.220 So with, with any right, okay, there's, it's always, there's always a but.

00:52:32.900 There is, it's always, yeah, we, we believe in that right, but.

00:52:38.260 Because all rights are conditional.

00:52:41.660 None of them are absolute.

00:52:43.240 You can lose them.

00:52:46.100 And, and can you lose your parental rights?

00:52:49.160 Of course you can.

00:52:51.500 I don't know anyone, even the biggest advocates of parental rights, and I am one of the biggest.

00:52:58.100 But I've never heard anyone that actually thinks that you shouldn't be allowed to use,

00:53:01.740 lose your parental rights for any reason.

00:53:03.240 Like, of course you can.

00:53:03.960 And unfortunately there are thousands of parents every year in this country who do things that, where they lose their parental rights or should.

00:53:13.320 And one of the ways that you should lose them is by physically abusing your child.

00:53:19.340 And there's no gray area here, mutilating and sterilizing your child is obviously physical abuse.

00:53:27.360 Finally, Nina says, obviously Matt should be person of the year.

00:53:32.060 Who else has competed on Dancing with the Stars, been an absolute icon in a movie, and released shocking details on Aliens all in a year?

00:53:38.140 However, the Times Matt phobia is showing with this one.

00:53:43.460 And I appreciate that.

00:53:44.640 And I think that you're, I think you're right.

00:53:46.660 But, you know, as I said yesterday, Taylor Swift winning person of the year doesn't upset me.

00:53:52.720 It does make sense.

00:53:53.780 She did have, whatever else you want to say about her, she did have an impressive year.

00:53:57.940 I think you can make an argument for Elon Musk.

00:54:02.140 He has the best argument, really.

00:54:03.560 He should have been the person of the year.

00:54:05.400 And then third place would probably be me.

00:54:08.240 So I think you're right for all the reasons that you just pointed out.

00:54:10.380 Although, as you say that, I'm realizing that the actual person, and I'm ashamed that I didn't say this yesterday or think of it.

00:54:15.360 I am deeply ashamed.

00:54:18.220 But you think about what was the biggest story of the year.

00:54:21.200 Maybe not in most people's eyes, but if you're smart, you know the biggest story of the year was when aliens were proven time and time again.

00:54:32.060 Congressional hearings on UFOs, historic, never happened before, at least not to the extent that it is now, with this level of openness.

00:54:40.040 And so who should the person of the year have been?

00:54:42.640 Probably the aliens.

00:54:45.760 If it was up to me, that's the person of the year.

00:54:48.000 It should have been E.T.

00:54:50.760 E.T. is the person of the year, even though he's not really a person.

00:54:54.760 But neither is Barbie, and she was a runner-up, so I think it should still count.

00:54:59.200 Let me tell you something.

00:55:00.440 I have two dogs, for some reason, and the magic power of rough greens in my home.

00:55:05.280 Since our dogs are now healthier and happier, I figured I'd offer a Santa a chance to borrow them if he needs some real power on his sleigh this Christmas,

00:55:12.080 and he can bring them back whenever he wants, next year even.

00:55:20.340 Before I started feeding my dog, Rough Greens, I had no idea that dog food is dead food.

00:55:24.720 It contains very little nutritional value.

00:55:26.280 Think about it.

00:55:26.940 Nutrition isn't brown.

00:55:27.920 It's green.

00:57:47.720 Now let's get to our daily cancellation.

00:57:49.840 I began the show yesterday talking about how school districts all over the country are introducing telehealth services for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

00:58:02.840 And these services include remote therapy visits provided by Silicon Valley startups.

00:58:07.480 So students can go to school counselors and complain about being depressed and confused.

00:58:11.520 And then they'll instantly be connected via iPad to some expert on gender theory.

00:58:15.920 They can even get a prescription for antidepressants and anxiety meds right over the Internet.

00:58:19.840 And the point, as we've seen many times, is to delegitimize parents as much as possible.

00:58:25.100 They don't want children going to a family doctor with their parents.

00:58:28.340 They want to see, you know, they want to connect the kids with Zoom shrinks from the Bay Area during school hours instead.

00:58:35.200 That's the idea.

00:58:35.700 And as ominous as that all is, it turns out that these Zoom shrinks are just the tip of the iceberg. 0.99

00:58:43.100 They're merely one component of a much broader effort backed by the federal government to transform the school system into something extraordinarily profane and destructive, even more than it already is.

00:58:53.680 A new investigation just published by the Daily Wire reveals in extensive detail how several school districts are connecting children with chat rooms.

00:59:01.340 And those chat rooms talk about everything from sex changes to the occult.

00:59:06.580 And they're not even using the pretense of telehealth or anything like that. 0.99

00:59:09.420 They're just throwing this garbage in kids' faces.

00:59:12.260 Now, many of the chat rooms I'm talking about are operated by a website called QChat Space, which was created in part with the help of Planned Parenthood. 0.98

00:59:20.400 And at Brockton Public Schools in Massachusetts, administrators advise students to check out QChat in their LGBTQI Plus resource guide.

00:59:28.480 And the Charlotte Independent School District in Texas and Wisconsin's Madison Metropolitan School District also have told students to check out this service of QChat.

00:59:37.400 So has California's Long Beach Unified School District, Beverly Hills High School as well, the District of Columbia Public Schools, the DeForest Area School District in Wisconsin.

00:59:48.040 Joe Biden's CDC has even gotten involved in this.

00:59:50.220 They've included QChat on their list of websites for children to visit.

00:59:54.840 So this is a site and a service that has a lot of funding, a lot of support, and that you've got very powerful institutions funneling kids to.

01:00:04.640 So what is QChat?

01:00:06.960 What makes it so overwhelmingly popular among the federal government and some of the biggest school districts in the United States?

01:00:13.240 Well, it's a platform that says that it provides, quote, chat-based discussion groups for LGBTQ plus and questioning teens ages 13 to 19.

01:00:22.380 Now, right away, if you go to the QChat website, you'll find that there is no age verification whatsoever.

01:00:28.280 You just have to say that you're between the ages of 13 and 19.

01:00:32.120 You give them an email.

01:00:33.500 You wait for an administrator to approve your account.

01:00:35.880 And then you're in.

01:00:37.280 Now, each chat that's hosted by QChat is focused on a set topic.

01:00:40.460 And there are some topics in regular rotation, like a mental health chat.

01:00:45.080 There's a chat for self-identifying BIPOC students who are struggling with systemic racism, et cetera.

01:00:51.320 But there are also some other selections from the past year or so that I think raised some interesting questions.

01:00:57.800 For example, one chat topic is self-discovery in astrology.

01:01:03.580 Another is entitled, how do your big three astrological signs affect your daily life?

01:01:08.760 Now, these are topics that might seem a little bit odd.

01:01:14.600 Why would this chat service, which normally talks about pretty standard topics like mental health, also promote astrology?

01:01:22.420 And for whatever reason, QSpace doesn't stop there.

01:01:25.400 According to a report from Just the News, another chat topic on QSpace, which is specifically for youth of color, concerns the topic of familiars, which QChat helpfully describes as small household pets that serve as a witch's companion.

01:01:40.080 Now, if you browse QChat's Facebook page, you'll find that they're very interested in hosting chats about these familiars.

01:01:46.820 In one post, for example, QChat writes, familiars are creatures that guide and support us.

01:01:51.900 Or have we seen familiars in literature, media, and games?

01:01:54.360 We'll be using the wild unknown animal spirit deck to see what animal spirits we might lean into.

01:02:02.120 Now, the creator of that particular deck of tarot cards describes herself as having a, quote, seeker's heart, which has, quote, brought her to study in-depth practices of yoga and shamanism.

01:02:12.660 The idea is to connect spiritually with animals.

01:02:15.780 And this is all happening in this QChat space.

01:02:17.900 Now, again, this all seems a little odd, which may be a significant understatement.

01:02:24.940 If you go back to the Brockton Public School District of Massachusetts and you look at how they're promoting QChat, here's what they say.

01:02:31.780 They claim that QChat will, quote, improve the comfort level of school personnel to provide appropriate gender-sensitive interactions.

01:02:38.580 And how does that track exactly?

01:02:42.000 I mean, what could possibly be the connection between occultism and LGBT propaganda?

01:02:48.340 We see it again and again.

01:02:50.120 Just a month ago, an election office in Tacoma, Washington, received a package containing a white powdery substance.

01:02:56.420 The package also included a letter with the so-called trans pride progress flag, which is the newest one, along with an occult symbol and a demand for anarchy and the end of elections.

01:03:06.700 And earlier this year, an employee at Kirkland Elementary School in Oklahoma City was arrested for child sex crimes.

01:03:13.380 And as Andy Ngo reported, quote, he identifies as pansexual and has symbols of the occult and LGBTQ on his social media.

01:03:20.600 A few months earlier, Drew Hernandez photographed a child with a sign around his neck featuring gay pride colors and an occult symbol.

01:03:26.920 So you see this combination is popping up more and more.

01:03:31.920 And as it turns out, these are therefore not uncommon examples.

01:03:35.120 We're not cherry-picking just one or two LGBT activists who happen to be into the occult.

01:03:41.080 This goes deeper than that.

01:03:42.880 Alistair Crowley, maybe the most iconic occultist of the modern world and a very disturbed individual, was famously bisexual. 1.00

01:03:49.860 Then there's Alan Moore, the occultist whose influences included Crowley.

01:03:54.000 Moore recently donated, pledged to donate all of his royalties to BLM.

01:03:57.080 And when Moore wrote a Lovecraftian comic series called Providence, he made the protagonist gay.

01:04:02.340 You can also see gay themes from contemporary occult artists like Grant Morrison, who's a well-known comic book writer who identifies as genderqueer.

01:04:09.740 Talks about these topics frequently.

01:04:12.100 There's William Burroughs.

01:04:13.520 He was one of the most influential American literary figures of the 20th century.

01:04:16.480 His work helped inspire the tradition of, quote, unquote, chaos magic. 0.89

01:04:19.820 William Burroughs was also a drug addict and a pervert, by the way.

01:04:22.500 But the common denominator in these cases is that occultists are looking to make themselves divine.

01:04:29.940 And they want to do that by accessing some deeply concealed powers, supposedly.

01:04:34.980 People calling themselves LGBTQ, not coincidentally, often see queerness as personal sexual empowerment that results from blurring categories or transgressing what they see as illegitimate moral limitations.

01:04:48.520 They think that they're breaking norms and discovering some latent identity.

01:04:53.860 So an interest in gender bending, in that sense, is a natural fit with occultism. 0.82

01:04:59.320 And that's why you see these things connected.

01:05:02.520 And again, not just connected by me, but by the people themselves.

01:05:07.240 For a long time, the officials pushing the LGBT cult, especially school districts and federal agencies like the CDC, they certainly would never acknowledge this connection.

01:05:15.140 They say that there's nothing godless or occult about promoting transgenderism and homosexuality to children in schools.

01:05:22.680 But they've pretty much stopped with that whole pretense at this point.

01:05:26.100 And that's the main reason that this Daily Wire investigation from the other day is so significant.

01:05:29.840 Now we know that the federal government and many school districts are willing to openly endorse a self-described LGBTQ chat that promotes the occult over and over again. 0.97

01:05:40.100 And just to reiterate, they're hosting these occult-themed chats for children as young as 13 years old and potentially even younger because, again, they're not weeding out kids based on age.

01:05:49.440 Now, of course, occult or QChat is not the only perverse service that children are being told to use in schools.

01:05:56.460 There are many more examples.

01:05:58.200 Here's one of them.

01:05:58.860 The Daily Wire investigation also found that the District of Columbia Public Schools and dozens of other school districts direct students to the Trevor Project's Trevor Space chat room, which we've discussed a few times on this show.

01:06:09.380 Trevor Space allows adults to connect directly with children.

01:06:12.400 And in turn, some of these adults have discussed graphic sexual topics with children.

01:06:16.880 They've also suggested ways that they can hide their gender identity from their parents.

01:06:21.140 Like I said, we've talked about the Trevor chats many times.

01:06:24.400 What's important to understand is that none of this is about equality or improving the mental health of children.

01:06:30.860 It's the opposite, of course.

01:06:33.060 The reason they're connecting children to therapists via iPad is the same reason they're telling children to visit chat rooms promoting the occult and sexual deviancy.

01:06:40.960 The most powerful institutions in this country, from the federal government to school boards, understand the link between cultism and the degeneracy that they're pushing.

01:06:51.620 All that's changed is that, at least if you know where to look, you'll find that they're finally admitting what they're doing.

01:06:57.960 Which is why, though it barely needs to be said, obviously, QChat and every school pushing it is today canceled.

01:07:07.820 That'll do it for the show today and this week.

01:07:09.980 Talk to you next week.
