If there's one indisputable strategic advantage that Democrats possess, it's that they don't
00:02:24.320
really have a political party in the traditional sense, they have a cult. The slogans come down
00:02:28.880
from on high, and overnight, the yard signs go up, no human is illegal, black lives matter,
00:02:34.240
defund the police, and so on. They'll invent quasi-religious explanations for events they
00:02:39.300
don't understand or don't want to understand, and then they'll use the entirety of the corporate
00:02:43.140
media and academia to present those explanations as fact. Hurricanes are caused by man-made climate
00:02:48.740
change. Therefore, we need environmental justice. Black people go to prison because of systemic
00:02:54.180
racism. Therefore, we need DEI, etc. Anybody who dissents is immediately cast out into the
00:03:00.820
wilderness. Now, if you want to create a stable, functioning country, this kind of mindless
00:03:05.480
collectivism is obviously counterproductive, but Democrats' goal is not to create a stable or
00:03:10.500
functioning country. Their goal is to mobilize and to win. They don't have time for internal debates
00:03:15.560
or self-doubt or introspection of any kind. They move quickly. Over the past two days,
00:03:21.160
this machinery has turned into overdrive following the coup that dethroned Joe Biden. Already,
00:03:27.280
we're being told by every mouthpiece for the Democrat Party that Kamala Harris is their presumptive
00:03:32.080
nominee. She's locked up all the delegates without earning a single primary vote from an actual voter.
00:03:37.660
And on top of that, the media tells us Kamala Harris is setting fundraising records left and right.
00:03:42.380
In fact, she's raised tens of millions of dollars in just 24 hours via ActBlue,
00:03:47.420
the Democrat Party's major fundraising platform. Watch.
00:03:51.300
Hey there, good morning. Yeah, it's being reported that Vice President Kamala Harris spent all day
00:03:55.160
Sunday making calls to reinforce support from key Democratic officials and secure Democratic
00:04:00.980
delegates behind her White House campaign. ActBlue says nearly $50 million has been raised in the
00:04:07.060
hours following the news. That's actually the biggest fundraising day of the 2024 cycle and the
00:04:11.940
single biggest day for online Democratic donations in more than 20 years. In a statement,
00:04:18.080
organizers say grassroots supporters are energized and excited to support Harris.
00:04:23.360
So this is the biggest online fundraising day that the party has seen in more than 20 years,
00:04:28.020
according to that report. In other words, even Barack Obama in his prime cannot top what Harris just
00:04:33.960
achieved. Sort of like how Biden supposedly got more votes than Obama in 2008. Now Harris is already
00:04:40.180
bringing in more cash than Obama. And by the way, since that report has aired, Harris has apparently
00:04:45.160
raised tens of millions more. She clocked in at over $80 million in total donations in 24 hours. Her
00:04:51.280
campaign claimed that nearly 900,000 donors individually gave money to the campaign on its
00:04:56.120
first day of existence. And the suggestion is that pretty much all of that money is coming from
00:05:00.120
grassroots donors via the ActBlue platform. So we're meant to conclude that all of those grassroots
00:05:06.600
donors were holding onto their money until the split second that Joe Biden left the ticket. And
00:05:10.640
immediately, as soon as Joe Biden was out, all of these donors pulled out their credit cards with
00:05:15.140
the intent of giving money to Harris's campaign. They didn't even wait to see if she'd win any delegates
00:05:19.900
or if there would be an open convention. They just donated straight away. Suddenly, the candidate who
00:05:25.240
didn't even make it to the Iowa caucuses when she ran for office in 2020 is now overwhelmingly popular
00:05:30.760
among everyday Democratic Party donors. That's how big of an albatross Joe Biden was. Now, what's not
00:05:36.840
mentioned in that news report or any other of the reports like it are the many questions that have
00:05:41.400
been raised about how exactly ActBlue collects money. A year ago, the investigative journalist James
00:05:47.080
O'Keefe looked into the fundraising platform. He spoke to several supposedly grassroots donors who,
00:05:52.380
according to ActBlue, have donated a lot of money to political candidates or causes, hundreds of
00:05:57.300
thousands of dollars in some cases. O'Keefe also crashed one of ActBlue's meetings at a hotel in Boston.
00:06:05.440
The first thing I did was strike up a few conversations with ActBlue staffers. I told them I was a friendly
00:06:10.820
donor and I didn't mind if the organization used my name and address to launder money into candidate coffers.
00:06:16.640
I'm a supporter. I'm a donor to you guys. I gave you $500. So yeah, you can use my you can use my
00:06:25.160
grandmother, too. You can use her name if you want. That's cool.
00:06:28.420
You remember our stories from earlier this year about ActBlue's fundraising practices.
00:06:33.040
We found a handful of donors who gave small amounts to ActBlue. But when ActBlue reported
00:06:37.760
the donations to the Federal Elections Commission, something didn't add up. We wanted some answers.
00:06:43.700
We spoke to Nancy Duden, the retiree from Maryland, who said she only donated a couple of hundred dollars
00:06:48.480
to ActBlue since January. How much does ActBlue claim she has donated this year? More than $16,000.
00:06:55.160
Nancy wasn't the only seemingly unaware retiree being used to mass these donations. Garland Riggs,
00:07:00.660
an older gentleman who lives outside of Washington, D.C., says there's no way he has given ActBlue
00:07:05.300
$230,000 in the past four years. Carolyn Lenz from Tucson, who apparently given ActBlue
00:07:17.140
Now, Keith's reporting obviously raises the question of whether money from wealthy donors,
00:07:21.260
including potentially foreign donors, is being laundered through supposedly grassroots
00:07:26.120
ActBlue donors. In response to O'Keefe's coverage, Senator Marco Rubio sent a letter to the Federal
00:07:31.480
Election Commission, quote, demanding the agency investigate alarming reports of widespread fraudulent
00:07:35.880
donations by ActBlue. The FEC responded by stating that ActBlue, quote, does not require a card
00:07:40.820
verification value number for online donations, which increases the risk of fraud. So the idea is that
00:07:46.160
some fraud may have occurred, but nobody really knows. There are some other reasons to doubt the
00:07:51.140
fundraising numbers we're hearing today. For example, ActBlue has publicly pledged to match
00:07:55.100
900% of donations to Harris's campaign in recent days. So at the moment, it's not exactly clear how
00:08:00.280
much money is being rerouted to Harris from ActBlue itself in the form of matching donations.
00:08:07.280
ActBlue is a vast fundraising apparatus that can allocate money from its various campaigns.
00:08:11.880
So what we can be certain of is that there's very little oversight of fundraising platforms like
00:08:17.340
this. As one Carrie Lake advisor, Caroline Wren, just pointed out, watch.
00:08:23.080
In the last 36 hours, they've said that Kamala has raised $100 million via ActBlue. ActBlue is the
00:08:29.200
largest money laundering operation in the country. There was a great, it truly is. There's money coming
00:08:35.600
through Ukraine, foreign donations. They don't even report anything under $100. You don't have to report.
00:08:39.860
And it's just a joke to me that $100 million would come in online for Kamala Harris. But that is what
00:08:45.600
they announced, and that is certainly what would be deposited into their bank account. Now, we had a bit
00:08:50.720
of a head start. At the beginning of July, the Trump campaign closed the money gap, and the campaign
00:08:56.640
announced they had $285 million cash on hand. The RNC had $100 million, so that was about $385 million cash
00:09:03.680
on hand between the two. The Biden campaign had $240 million cash on hand. The DNC had $78 million.
00:09:09.160
So they had about $318 million. So we were outpacing them by, I don't know, about $70 million.
00:09:14.440
Well, they just added $100 million and counting into that, right?
00:09:18.620
Now, in a country with a functioning system of elections, we'd have absolute confidence that
00:09:22.900
every ActBlue donation matches up with an actual human being who actually donated that amount of
00:09:28.020
money. The truth is that we can't have that confidence after seeing reporting like O'Keefe's.
00:09:32.340
We're being lied to so often by so many sources that it's difficult to have confidence in pretty much
00:09:36.120
any aspect of our elections at this point. And that's especially true in an election like this
00:09:40.680
one, where the coronation of Kamala Harris is so over the top and artificial that it's actually
00:09:45.920
hard to watch. In the span of about two weeks, the corporate press went from claiming that Joe
00:09:50.180
Biden is totally fine and he's going to be president again and all that, to full-on pretending that Kamala
00:09:55.620
Harris is the next Barack Obama. Of course, when he ran for president, Barack Obama earned more than
00:10:00.540
5% support in his home state. He didn't drop out before the Iowa caucuses. And Barack Obama,
00:10:06.820
for all of his many faults, did not cackle like a character from The Wizard of Oz at every
00:10:10.660
opportunity. Say what you will about him, but he actually had something called charisma and Kamala
00:10:16.080
Harris doesn't have any of that. And up until about 15 seconds ago, everybody in the media
00:10:20.440
acknowledged that. That's why they fought so hard to keep Biden in the race until it was impossible.
00:10:26.160
But you're supposed to forget all of that now because the orders from Nancy Pelosi and Chuck
00:10:30.520
Schumer and Alex Soros have come down. And therefore, now we get cable news segments like
00:10:37.400
Free at last, free at last. Kamala Harris is unleashed. She's just brilliant. She's just,
00:10:45.260
the energy that's coming off of her is the energy that's coming off of the American people.
00:10:49.800
Look, I mean, this is 2008 vibes already. She's done in literally 48 hours, things that were
00:10:58.740
considered impossible. She got the nomination. She took over cultural. She's a cultural phenomenon
00:11:05.580
now. TikTok loves her. She raised more money than anybody. She signed up 50,000 people. You can do
00:11:11.980
your whole career and not get 50,000 volunteers. She did it in 48 hours. You are witnessing the birth
00:11:18.260
of a cultural phenomenon. And you need a cultural phenomenon to stop a cultural phenomenon. Donald
00:11:23.600
Trump is a cultural phenomenon. So now you've got two superpowers colliding, but this one
00:11:29.460
just came out of nowhere. Listen, a week ago, two weeks ago, people were like, hey, Kamala Harris,
00:11:34.140
I don't know. She can't win. I don't like her. Blah, blah, blah. All those people are marching in line
00:11:40.240
and getting information. It's unbelievable to watch.
00:11:43.580
Marching in line and getting information. That's a very, well, that's an apt way of putting it,
00:11:50.780
in fact. As nauseating as that clip is, it's the norm now. There's plenty more like it. All across
00:11:57.080
the corporate press, self-described journalists are falling over themselves to pretend that Harris
00:12:00.740
is the second coming of their messiah. For example, a senior reporter with CNN broke this news over the
00:12:06.240
weekend. Breaking news here. Listen to this. Quote,
00:12:09.860
one person familiar with the VP yesterday said, through all of her calls at the Naval Observatory,
00:12:15.540
Harris wore a hooded Howard University sweatshirt, workout sweats, and sneakers. They got pizza and
00:12:21.040
salad for dinner. She went with her favorite topping, anchovies. I cannot believe that anyone
00:12:26.300
actually puts anchovies. I thought that was a meme. I didn't think that was a thing anyone actually did.
00:12:31.160
Like in real life, you put, do they even, what pizza place even, is that an option?
00:12:36.720
I've never seen that on a menu at any pizza place ever. Anyway, that's not really the point. In
00:12:43.200
response to that groundbreaking bit of reporting, a supervising producer with the BBC responded,
00:12:47.620
quote, the Howard sweatshirt is an important detail here. Important. It's an important detail.
00:12:53.000
For Harris, this is about where she came from as much as what lies ahead.
00:12:56.540
Howard is the first place she looks for when Air Force Two lands in Washington.
00:13:00.000
So this is what we can expect for the next three and a half months. After the debate,
00:13:05.780
the corporate press did everything they could to destroy Joe Biden so they could replace him on
00:13:08.880
the ballot. They were vicious. And now that the replacement has arrived, they are reduced to
00:13:13.260
reporting on what she's wearing and the kind of pizza she's eating. And this is, this is all very
00:13:19.100
transparent. This is what they do when they want to make someone into a cultural icon, as Van,
00:13:23.140
as we just heard from, uh, from, uh, Van Jones there. Um, this, this is, it's, we obsess over
00:13:30.520
every little detail. So now the, the media, which was going after Democrats, the Democrat president
00:13:36.860
for, for, you know, uncharacteristically for a few weeks, now they're completely harmless all of a
00:13:40.620
sudden. This is how the collective operates. They're ruthless to their enemies. They're shameless
00:13:45.620
about promoting their allies. Principles like integrity or fairness simply do not matter to them.
00:13:50.900
They don't matter to Democrats on Capitol Hill either. They're also convinced that they've
00:13:55.700
found the next Obama or they want to convince us that they found that. So here's one of the more
00:13:59.920
dystopian clips you'll see. Watch as Chuck Schumer explains that Kamala Harris was chosen by a bottom
00:14:06.320
up grassroots process as opposed to, you know, party elites working behind closed doors to oust the
00:14:13.020
candidate who just won 50 million, 15 million votes in the primaries. And then when Chuck Schumer is
00:14:17.640
asked by a reporter about this preposterous claim, uh, he doubles down on it. Watch.
00:14:23.640
So now that the process has played out from the grassroots bottom up, we are here today to throw
00:14:31.480
our support behind vice president Kamala Harris. I'm clapping. You don't have to. Yes.
00:14:39.220
I know you said that this was a, uh, a bottom up process, but Kamala Harris is the vice president
00:14:45.540
of the United States. There was no other competition. This is going to be selected by
00:14:49.520
party delegates, insiders, essentially. How, what's your case to the American people and to
00:14:55.880
the Democrat voters that voted for Joe Biden, that this isn't a coronation?
00:14:59.140
The bottom line, it was a bottom up process. People just rallied right to her side. The
00:15:05.180
enthusiasm in this big, diverse representative party was amazing. You could, you could, it
00:15:15.500
Yeah. It was the grassroots that ousted Biden and put Kamala Harris in his place. You know,
00:15:21.180
grassroots, um, grassroots people like Barack Obama, George Clooney, Nancy Pelosi, uh, billionaire
00:15:31.900
donors, grassroots, you know, just average everyday working Americans, the kind of, the
00:15:39.040
kind of folks that, uh, if you go down to the local diner, you know, on a Sunday morning
00:15:43.320
after church, you might see them, you might see them there, those types. Now the word gaslighting
00:15:49.100
is overused, but there's really no other way to describe this footage. The Democrats leader
00:15:52.640
in the Senate who just a week ago was telling us he supports Joe Biden now says he supports
00:15:57.080
Kamala Harris. And he's claiming the voters want her to be the candidate, even though party
00:16:01.220
elites like Chuck Schumer just did everything they could to prevent the voters from having
00:16:04.280
any say in the process of selecting Kamala Harris. Now, the truth is Chuck Schumer understands
00:16:09.240
that most voters see Kamala Harris for what she is, a diversity hire who was chosen because
00:16:14.420
Joe Biden insisted on picking a woman, even if she lacked any kind of charisma or accomplishment.
00:16:19.100
And the more they tell you that Kamala Harris is some sort of transformational once in a
00:16:22.860
generation figure, the more they are revealing that they don't believe any of it. It's all
00:16:27.980
an act. They're protesting too much as the saying goes, all the astroturfed TikTok videos trying
00:16:33.480
to make Kamala Harris look cool and interesting are just, just all of them are unconvincing in
00:16:38.600
the extreme. And the efforts look all the more ridiculous because Harris is running against
00:16:43.180
Donald Trump, who like him or not, is one of the most transformational political figures in American
00:16:50.300
history. He actually is a cultural icon and he's a genuinely compelling figure. And he just had one
00:16:58.300
of the most iconic moments of any public figure in American history when he survived the assassination
00:17:03.580
attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, raised his fist in the air, face bloodied and told the crowd to fight.
00:17:09.960
I mean, a moment that very few public figures in any sphere of life in all of American history have
00:17:19.460
ever had. Certainly a moment unlike anything that Kamala Harris has ever had. But as overt and
00:17:25.320
patronizing as all of this lying may be, the fact remains that it might work. Republicans are making a
00:17:31.060
grave mistake if they underestimated the potential for Kamala Harris to win the next election. Already,
00:17:35.700
we've seen the lengths that Democrats and the corporate press are willing to sink in order to boost
00:17:39.880
her candidacy. And they're getting more and more desperate with every passing hour. They're rolling out
00:17:44.460
every dirty trick in their arsenal and they aren't done yet. In fact, now they're even using the assassination
00:17:49.240
attempt in Butler against Trump. Last night, the Washington Post reported that the Secret Service is telling
00:17:54.060
Donald Trump he has to change the way he campaigns. Quote, Secret Service officials encouraged Donald
00:17:59.080
Trump's campaign to stop scheduling large outdoor rallies and other outdoor events with big crowds after the
00:18:04.180
assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, according to people familiar with the matter. In the aftermath of the
00:18:08.480
shooting, agents from the Secret Service communicated their concerns about large outdoor rallies going forward to
00:18:12.600
Trump campaign advisers. Trump has held hundreds of outdoor rallies since launching his first presidential bid.
00:18:17.400
They've become something of a cult favorite among his passionate fans with tailgate parties and parking lots,
00:18:21.680
vendors lining open areas near the rally and large parades of traffic, often with gargantuan pickup trucks.
00:18:27.800
Unquote. Translation, because the Secret Service is unable or unwilling to do their job of
00:18:32.560
protecting Donald Trump, they're going to hamstring one of his campaign's most important assets.
00:18:37.700
It's like they're basically threatening Trump when you get down to it. They're saying that
00:18:40.720
if he holds another outdoor rally, you know, they can't guarantee they can protect him.
00:18:46.720
Supposedly, the Secret Service simply doesn't have the ability to make sure that 20-year-olds
00:18:50.680
with AR-15s don't get into perfect firing positions 140 yards away. It's just not possible.
00:18:57.740
Therefore, Trump's whole campaign strategy needs to change. By the way,
00:19:00.160
there's no reporting from the Washington Post about Kamala Harris having to hold indoor events.
00:19:05.300
Apparently, this request is only for Donald Trump, maybe because he's the only candidate
00:19:08.500
who can draw large enough crowds to justify outdoor rallies. For now, until Election Day,
00:19:13.640
the Trump campaign is then going to have to be as disciplined and focused as possible to overcome
00:19:20.300
all of these efforts to undermine Trump and promote his opponent. As I said before, it would be a mistake
00:19:24.960
to hit Kamala from the left for jailing so-called low-level offenders when she was the AG of California
00:19:30.060
or anything like that. Even playing into her status as a DEI hire shouldn't be overdone. I mean,
00:19:35.280
it is a fact about her that we should talk about. Don't get me wrong. But the core problem with Kamala
00:19:41.680
Harris is not how she was installed by party elites. It's not that she's a diversity hire,
00:19:45.940
even though she is. It's certainly not how she handled truancy and marijuana use in California.
00:19:51.640
The core problem with Kamala Harris is that she's promised to be a rubber stamp for every single
00:19:56.500
bad idea that so-called progressives have had for the past decade. From defunding the police to
00:20:03.400
decriminalizing illegal immigration to eliminating private health insurance to allowing illegal aliens
00:20:08.200
to access taxpayer-funded public health care to passing a Green New Deal to banning offshore drilling
00:20:13.820
and fracking to abolishing ICE to allowing terrorists to vote. Kamala Harris supported all of
00:20:20.060
these proposals, as terrible as all of them are, not because she thought about them in any great
00:20:24.240
detail. She can't really think about anything in great detail. She supports them because, like Joe
00:20:30.200
Biden, she's listless and completely unprincipled. If Republicans communicate that simple and obvious
00:20:35.820
fact to voters, then none of the inflated fundraising numbers or corporate media hype will matter.
00:20:41.920
The Democrat collective will be exposed for what it is, ruthless and totally disingenuous.
00:20:47.940
And collectively, in November, they will lose. Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:21:00.120

00:21:56.880
Terms, conditions, apply. So let's start with big news here at The Daily Wire. And for me personally,
00:22:02.120
you may remember, if you've been watching the show for a while, back last summer in 2023,
00:22:06.860
when I missed several weeks of shows over the course of the summer and told you that I was
00:22:11.200
missing the show because I was working on some big projects, one big project in particular.
00:22:16.660
And I've mentioned the project vaguely every once in a while since then. And I know that there were
00:22:23.520
some members of the audience who had given up hope that that project would ever be revealed.
00:22:29.160
Maybe you thought that it was just an excuse I was making because I wanted to go on vacation and be
00:22:33.240
lazy. But for all of my faults, I like to think that when I tell you that I'm working on a big
00:22:40.900
thing, it's because I am. And it may take a while, but if I'm working on it, you're going to see it.
00:22:48.400
And now at long last, I can reveal it to you. This thing has been a very long time in the making.
00:22:55.520
We've been working on it behind the scenes all this time, really for over a year.
00:22:59.820
And last night, we finally debuted the trailer for my new film, which is called Am I Racist?
00:23:06.780
And that's the question that began my journey well over a year ago. A very personal journey into
00:23:14.900
anti-racism and DEI, a sort of racial awakening, perhaps. So let me play the trailer for you.
00:23:24.360
If you haven't seen it yet, here it is. Let's be clear what's happening in this country. It's
00:23:29.820
Nazism. Republicans are Nazis. You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people.
00:23:37.380
Growing up in the 90s, I never thought much about race. Sure, you noticed, but never really seemed
00:23:42.300
to matter that much. At least not to me. Being a white, straight, cisgender man,
00:23:46.340
it's the top of the pile. I'm on the top of the pile. That's me. Am I racist?
00:23:50.720
I would really appreciate it if you left. I'm trying to learn. I'm on this journey. Can you
00:23:54.000
please leave? I'm going to sort this out. I need to go deeper undercover. If I want to
00:24:06.660
What is racism? Martin Luther King said not to judge people by the... Martin Luther King
00:24:11.180
said a lot of stuff. Is America inherently racist? What the hell is that? The word inherent
00:24:16.180
is challenging there. America is racist to its bones. All of the... So inherently. Yeah. The entire
00:24:22.300
system has to burn. And I'm not going to even use save this country. This country is not worth saving.
00:24:26.520
This country is a piece of s**t. Oh, sorry. Sorry.
00:24:33.460
They're going to say I'm racist. Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert. Here's my certification.
00:24:38.940
Where are you guys in your anti-racist journeys? So I'll look around the room and point to who we
00:24:45.760
believe is the most racist person in the room. We want to rename the George Washington Monument
00:24:51.340
to the George Floyd Monument. Would you mind signing it? You will? What do you think about this issue
00:24:56.160
of heteronormativity and how it intersects with the broader structures of racism in society?
00:25:01.860
Oh. What's up with white people? What are you doing to de-center your whiteness? Who's making it the
00:25:09.980
center? Why are they doing that? What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. This is
00:25:14.700
more for you in this field. White folks. White trash. White supremacy. White woman. White boy. White
00:25:20.880
entitlement. White. Centering. White silence. Is there a black person around here? There's a black person
00:25:25.140
right here. Does he not exist? They gonna say I'm racist. But they call everybody racist. Hi, Robin. Hi.
00:25:32.960
And what's your name? I'm Matt. Matt. Hi, Matt. Thanks to meet you. I just had to ask who you are because
00:25:38.680
you have to be careful. Never be too careful. They gonna say you racist. But they call everybody racist.
00:25:47.260
So that's the trailer. One thing I can tell you about the trailer is that we
00:25:55.040
definitely did not put the best moments of the movie into the trailer. I know a lot of times you
00:25:59.800
see a trailer and then you go see the movie and you think, okay, so I didn't even need to watch
00:26:05.760
this movie. All the best stuff was already in the trailer. I already saw it. Saw the whole movie.
00:26:11.180
Saw the best parts of the movie. I promise you, we did not do that with this. In fact, if anything,
00:26:16.240
I think we may have erred in the opposite direction a bit too much because we're maybe a little too
00:26:20.360
cautious about making sure we don't spoil any of the best moments. But there's just a lot
00:26:25.260
in there that I don't want to spoil it because we didn't put it in the trailer for a moment.
00:26:30.140
We want you to be surprised when you see it. But this journey goes places that you're not
00:26:35.360
going to expect. For example, at the end there, that was, as many of you probably know, that was
00:26:41.960
none other than Robin DiAngelo, anti-racist expert extraordinaire author of White Fragility.
00:26:47.020
We know going into this project that that was someone we really wanted to talk to and
00:26:53.360
we were able to. And all I can say is you're going to want to see where that conversation goes.
00:26:59.160
And it goes somewhere that you won't expect. I think I can, I'm not overhyping it to say that
00:27:03.560
you just are not going to expect where that conversation goes. That's all I'll say about that.
00:27:10.840
And the whole movie goes somewhere that you won't expect, in fact. And this is
00:27:15.140
this is the follow-up to What is a Woman? Because it's our next film. And we got the whole band back
00:27:20.720
together. The whole team from What is a Woman got together to make this film. And, but this movie is
00:27:27.360
also not What is a Woman? You know, we, this is not What is a Woman? Part two. This is a, we took a
00:27:32.540
different approach with this one. And we did that both because we wanted to challenge ourselves to
00:27:36.700
do something different rather than, you know, finding a formula and sticking to it. We didn't want to do
00:27:41.300
that. And also because this topic, and we, we discovered this more and more as we were making
00:27:46.020
the film. But this topic and what we wanted to explore with it, it just demanded a different
00:27:54.980
strategy. And so that's, that's what we did here. And there'll be plenty more to say about this film.
00:28:02.540
And I'm sure we'll have more bits and pieces that you'll be able to see from it before it is finally
00:28:09.480
in theaters on September 13th. So that's the other, it's really two pieces of big news here.
00:28:14.700
One is the film. And the second is that we're going to be putting this in theaters and tickets,
00:28:22.160
pre-sale tickets will go on, on sale in the next couple of weeks. So stay tuned for a lot more
00:28:26.420
information about all that. Very excited to finally have this out in the world and to be able to talk
00:28:32.660
about it, especially because I can tell you one thing, working on this film behind the scenes over the
00:28:38.280
last year, year and a half. It's been, it's been the most ambitious thing I've ever done in my
00:28:46.100
career. I think I could say the most ambitious thing that anyone on the film has done in their
00:28:50.740
careers. Very difficult to pull off in a lot of ways that will become really obvious to you when you
00:28:56.260
see the film. But maybe the even bigger challenge for me was to be on air for the last year and not
00:29:04.840
say anything about this. There's so many times I've wanted to say something that we go out and
00:29:10.960
we shoot a scene for this film and something completely wild happens. And then I got to turn
00:29:16.160
around and do the show and I can't tell you about it. That's been tough. And I still can't tell you so
00:29:23.020
much about it. We can really have the full conversation once the movie's out and you guys have had a chance
00:29:28.940
to see it. All right. Speaking of racism, Kamala has been the presumptive nominee after stealing
00:29:36.660
the nomination from Joe Biden for only three days now. We already have our first race hoax related
00:29:41.380
to her campaign. And this is one of many folks. So get ready because this is a preview of things to
00:29:50.420
come. So here's the first one. A bunch of left-wing accounts spurred on initially by a supposed
00:29:56.820
journalist who is also the head of the White House Correspondents Association. So not just some
00:30:01.480
random guy. Right. They were all claiming online this morning that Brian Kilmeade on Fox News
00:30:08.680
used the word colored when talking about a story related to Kamala Harris. So here's the tweet from
00:30:16.020
Eugene Daniels, who is a just a soulless, rotten, evil liar, turns out. But he starts by allegedly
00:30:23.260
quoting Kilmeade. So this is a quote that he puts on on the caption. She'd rather address in the summer
00:30:30.440
a sorority, a colored sorority, like she can't get out of that. And then Eugene comments, not this in
00:30:37.720
the year of Beyonce 2024. So the claim is that Kilmeade slammed Kamala Harris for speaking to a
00:30:44.960
colored sorority. Now I'm going to play the clip for you. But even before I do, you already know
00:30:52.640
that you know that it's a lie. OK, if you have at least three brain cells bouncing around in your
00:30:57.540
skull, you know that a Fox News host did not go on television and say colored when referring to
00:31:04.880
black people. That's not how anyone talks. I've never met anyone who says colored for black people.
00:31:11.740
The only exceptions have been people over the age of 80. And the only 80 plus year olds that I've heard
00:31:17.060
actually say that word were black. OK, so no one else says it except for the NAACP. It's OK for
00:31:23.400
them, but not for anybody else. So there's just no chance that a Fox News host went on air and was
00:31:30.400
like, yeah, Kamala Harris going to talk to those colored folks. It's just you have to live in a
00:31:36.440
fantasy world to think that such a thing is even possible. So all the left is promoting this lie
00:31:41.880
are either knowingly lying because they're disgraceful, deceitful pieces of garbage, or they
00:31:47.140
are so incredibly delusional that they actually think that this is how white people speak in the
00:31:52.540
year 2024. And I say all of that because, you know, it's true. But I don't want to I want to be
00:32:01.180
careful that I don't concede the premise here, because the premise is that saying colored is racist.
00:32:05.820
The premise is that if he had said colored, he would automatically be racist and should probably be
00:32:10.600
fired. I don't concede that. I mean, I wouldn't care if Kilmeade had said it. I knew that he didn't
00:32:17.800
before I even watched the clip, but but I wouldn't care if he did. Now, if he did say it, I would say,
00:32:25.200
well, OK, I mean, that's that's an interesting choice of words, given the environment we live in.
00:32:32.680
But I wouldn't care because there's no rational, coherent, explainable reason why people of color is
00:32:38.360
OK, but colored people isn't. It's the same thing. It's the same the same words, just in a different
00:32:44.740
order. They mean the same thing. Like in what other context could you have a term
00:32:52.160
where if you put the words in a certain order, it's OK. But if you just flip the order slightly
00:33:00.560
and yet you're referring to the same thing, it's now horribly bigoted like that doesn't apply to
00:33:07.980
any other term that we can think of. So I just want to be clear about that. If any white person
00:33:14.480
wants to go out and say colored, you know, go for it. It isn't racist. It just isn't.
00:33:20.980
So who cares? But but white people don't say that. And Kilmeade certainly didn't.
00:33:26.480
So here's what he did say. Let's listen. Obviously, you compare him to President Biden,
00:33:31.720
who is muddling his way through speeches. People know. Yeah, anyone's going to be better, right?
00:33:36.040
Yep. Couldn't go more than 15 minutes. She's very good on the prompter. No one even doubted that.
00:33:40.400
She had 3000 people there. Why are they there? A lot of them have to do with, hey, I'm a Democrat.
00:33:44.800
I thought we were going to go down in flames. Now we have a shot. The problem with Kamala Harris,
00:33:49.480
number one, she has not had a record exploited heavily because people thought and marginalized her.
00:33:53.660
Even in the Democratic Party, they said, wow, what a bad choice Joe Biden made.
00:33:58.640
Number two is she hasn't sat down for an interview when she sits down in an interview and says,
00:34:03.320
do you want to defund ICE? Where do you stand on Medicare for all? Why didn't you show up?
00:34:11.180
The most recent decision already you got a question. She will not show up for the prime minister's
00:34:16.120
joint session of Congress today. She'd rather address in the summer a sorority,
00:34:21.140
a college sorority, like she can't get out of that. So that's her decision. And that's her
00:34:26.280
decision to back up the protesters. And how about the border? When they ask her about the border,
00:34:29.660
I haven't been to Europe either. Remember she said that? She's the border czar. She didn't go to the
00:34:33.460
president. She didn't go to the border. And now we're learning that two of the border chiefs,
00:34:36.940
the last two border chiefs she hasn't talked to.
00:34:38.600
So he said college sorority that as you could tell there, he said college sorority. And
00:34:47.200
I just, I don't even see any way that, that a person could honestly misinterpret that
00:34:53.360
college. Like the car is very clear. Maybe the end of it's a little garbled, but
00:34:58.560
it's not cuh. He didn't say college. He didn't say this is a college sorority. He said,
00:35:06.980
there's certainly a ca sound. You can hear that a clear as day.
00:35:12.800
So then if you are going to mishear it, then maybe you would hear ca collard.
00:35:18.900
Did he call it a, is it a collard? Like they have collars. Maybe this, he's talking to a sorority of
00:35:24.040
furries and they're all, and they have collars because they're dressed up. I don't know. It's
00:35:28.500
pretty clear. He said college. And it's, you know, that a lot of people have corrected this
00:35:37.380
Eugene Daniels guy. And then you still have leftists that are defending it. And one thing
00:35:42.500
that I'm seeing is the leftists are saying, no, there's no way he said college. Who says college
00:35:47.720
sorority? Well, I don't know. Some people do. I've heard that before.
00:35:52.520
I've certainly heard college sorority a lot more than I've heard colored sorority.
00:35:58.000
I've literally never heard anyone ever say that ever in my life. Whereas college sorority,
00:36:05.020
it's a bit redundant, but it's, it doesn't, it's, if you hear someone say that it doesn't,
00:36:10.260
it's not confusing unless you're very, very, very stupid. So this one, you know, this isn't going
00:36:19.860
to do any damage to kill me because it's so, so, so obviously a lie, but this, as I said,
00:36:26.280
is a preview of things to come. And this is the, uh, they can't help themselves. This, this is how
00:36:31.840
they're, this is what they're going to do. This is how they're going to play it. And, um,
00:36:36.640
and they're going to, you know, we know one thing for sure. They're going to go looking for,
00:36:41.180
uh, they're, they're going to be race hoaxes related to people that
00:36:45.560
are in Trump's orbit or are perceived as Trump supporters or perceived as conservative.
00:36:50.480
There's going to be a lot of that. And there's also going to be plenty of race hoaxes targeted
00:36:54.000
at Trump himself. So we're going to start seeing all kinds of unsourced stories, uh, citing unsourced,
00:37:01.520
uh, you know, citing anonymous people who don't want to be identified, telling us all kinds of
00:37:07.900
racist things that Trump has said and done. And, you know, we're going to get started getting all
00:37:11.020
those kinds of story. All that's going to come out because that's how they're going to play this.
00:37:14.080
And they just, they don't know any other way to play it. And, you know, I don't,
00:37:21.580
whether that can still work, whether that kind of intense emotional blackmail,
00:37:27.300
um, and playing on white guilt and playing on, uh, uh, you know, this, uh, this claims of sexism
00:37:38.500
and all that sort of stuff, playing, especially on white male guilt, most of all,
00:37:43.500
um, whether that can work enough to propel her all the way to the white house, it remains to be
00:37:50.260
seen. And I guess I'm not, I will, I don't feel comfortable predicting woman. I'd like to,
00:37:56.020
I'd like to say that I don't think it will work, but we'll see. Um, post millennial has this in a
00:38:03.960
post on truth social, Donald Trump said vice president Kamala Harris has been lying to the
00:38:07.620
American public about president Joe Biden's mental decline, added that she needs to answer if Biden is
00:38:11.660
still fit to serve as the president. Quote, does Lyon Kamala Harris think Joe Biden is fit to run
00:38:17.740
for the USA, uh, for the next six months? Fit to run the USA, not for the USA. She's not going into
00:38:26.120
the Olympics. She must answer the question. Now it appears Joe is delegating as a presidential
00:38:29.900
authority to unelected Washington bureaucrats. He doesn't even trust his vice president who is
00:38:33.380
running the country. It's a very good question. This is a question that, that Republicans should
00:38:40.220
be hammering. Um, and it's not even like some kind of cheap gotcha. Of course it's not. It's a
00:38:46.480
very important question. Do this man has stepped down from running, apparently conceding that he is
00:38:57.440
mentally deficient. So how is he qualified to still run the country? Here's a question I'd like
00:39:03.980
someone to ask Kamala Harris. Do you think that Joe Biden should still be running for president?
00:39:12.520
Do you think that it should be Joe Biden in this position and not you?
00:39:18.120
Because up until the moment that he dropped out, you were saying that he's fine. He's doing great and
00:39:23.480
he'll make a great president. He should have another four years. That's what you said a day
00:39:28.820
before he dropped out. Do you still think that? Um, and if you don't, then what changed your mind
00:39:37.560
in those 24 hours? What did you witness that made you suddenly realize that this man is not mentally
00:39:42.620
fit to run for president, though he is still mentally fit to run the country? That's a very good
00:39:49.640
question that I'd like to see someone ask. Um, let's see. Here's something I want to mention
00:39:55.980
from page six. This is a lot of Kamala Harris stuff, but yeah, this is, this just, we're in a
00:40:03.220
political cycle right now and, uh, there's nothing we could do to avoid it. So, and I did, there's a
00:40:09.640
point here I wanted to make in this page six story, a story that will seem rather inconsequential,
00:40:15.940
but I don't think it is. Kamala Harris has, has Hollywood's backing in the 2024 presidential
00:40:20.680
election. Charlie XCX, I don't know who that is. And more celebrities have endorsed the vice
00:40:27.620
president as the democratic party's nominee since Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
00:40:31.320
Let's see. There's a, there's a big list of all the celebrities have endorsed her. Uh, Beyonce has
00:40:36.320
not made a statement regarding the possible candidacy, but her team granted permission for Harris to use
00:40:41.580
her song freedom. Harris walked out to the hit while making her first official visit to campaign
00:40:46.740
headquarters on July 22nd. Beyonce's response to Harris's request was prompt as they contacted her
00:40:52.540
representative earlier in the day. Um, one week after George Clooney called for Biden to step down
00:40:57.980
from the race in New York times op-ed, he endorsed Harris said, uh, we're also excited to do whatever
00:41:05.080
we can to support vice president Harris in her historic quest. I also saw that. I think Olivia
00:41:10.920
Rodriguez, Rodriguez, or is it Rodrigo? Yeah. Uh, you can tell I'm really plugged in anyway. He and
00:41:16.760
she, she endorsed her also. So a bunch of other celebrities did as well. Many more will. Um, I mean,
00:41:23.200
all the celebrities will obviously. And I bring this up just to make one point. And this is just me
00:41:31.000
again, trying to caution Republicans away from strategies that I've seen them use in the past
00:41:35.860
and, uh, have, have never been effective. And I think will be even less effective now.
00:41:43.760
So here, it's important to note that the Democrats have the celebrities,
00:41:48.420
right? They, they have the celebrity endorsements. Um, they have basically all of them,
00:41:55.860
all of the most powerful, most influential, most popular celebrities, nothing we could do about that
00:42:03.120
right now. It's the way it is, which is why I want Republicans to just accept that and move past it.
00:42:14.340
And that means not attempting to trot out your own celebrities, you know, going and looking for
00:42:23.800
random C tier celebrities and washed up has-beens and people that have not been, you know, whether
00:42:30.000
they're in whatever part of the entertainment industry they're in, they haven't been relevant
00:42:35.000
in forever and, and latching onto them because they like Trump. Um, I really want to caution
00:42:43.860
Republicans against doing that conservatives against doing that. Don't, don't do that. It doesn't work.
00:42:48.580
It's not a good, it just, okay. Beyonce alone in terms of cultural influence from celebrities.
00:42:56.280
And I don't, I'm not, this is, I'm not a Beyonce fan. Okay. I don't like Beyonce, but Beyonce all by
00:43:02.000
yourself wipes out every single pro-Trump celebrity combined times a thousand. Okay. There's just not
00:43:12.140
any pro-Trump celebrity that we've heard from, uh, who, who even like gets close to that.
00:43:21.940
And I mean, the, the only one that you could make an argument for is Elon Musk. And the only reason I
00:43:30.680
say you can only make an argument for Elon Musk is I think it's to call him merely a celebrity,
00:43:34.880
I think is a bit diminishing. I don't think I would, he's more than I'm talking about entertainment
00:43:38.840
industry celebrity. He's quite a bit more than that. And to the extent that he's, you know,
00:43:43.920
I don't think he's issued an official endorsement of Trump, but I think it's pretty clear that he does
00:43:47.500
like him. So that is, that is someone, but I'm talking about, and that's an obviously extremely
00:43:52.560
powerful cultural figure, but in terms of entertainment industry celebrities, when it comes to that,
00:43:59.140
you just, you just, you just can't compete. You cannot come close. And again, the, the response
00:44:11.220
from Republicans for so long has been to say, well, this is a, an untenable situation. We can't allow
00:44:19.460
this. And, you know, they're getting all the famous people endorsements. They're getting all the,
00:44:23.660
the entertainment industry endorsements, and we need to get a few. So let's go out and find some
00:44:28.960
people who are like celebrities or celebrity adjacent or used to be celebrities. And let's
00:44:34.480
just cobble together our own team and, uh, and put them up against Beyonce and Taylor Swift and,
00:44:42.160
uh, you know, George Clooney, right? Uh, it just doesn't, doesn't work. And I think it makes you
00:44:48.380
look even worse. It makes you look even worse by comparison. It's just a game you can't win.
00:44:54.380
Um, and I'm not saying that I certainly don't think that conservatives should give up on the
00:45:00.780
entertainment industry entirely. I mean, I got my second movie coming out, right? We're going into
00:45:06.540
theaters. I understand that entertainment is important, right? I'm in the, I am in that trying
00:45:12.080
to do that myself. But as it stands right now, the entertainment industry is still run by the left.
00:45:20.800
Um, and it takes quite an, an insurgent effort to, you know, break your way into it. And certainly the,
00:45:28.320
the big players in the entertainment industry are full on leftists. And to change that is a process
00:45:34.480
that's going to take many, many years. We're not there yet. And so the best thing we can do is like,
00:45:39.120
no, we're not going to, we're not going to try to play that game. Okay. You have that. It's a tool.
00:45:43.840
It's not decisive. You're not going to win because of it, but yeah, that helps, right? I mean, it helps
00:45:48.560
to have Beyonce on your side. Uh, and, and we don't, you do fine. You, you got that one. We're just not
00:45:54.840
going to put that to the side and we're going to charge on straight ahead and have a different
00:45:58.780
conversation. Um, that's what I'd like to see Republicans do. Summer's here and seasonal businesses

00:47:29.980
fight for a 47% off on your annual membership. Now let's get to our daily cancellation.
00:47:41.320
So in the opening monologue, we talked about the media's predictable shift into glorification
00:47:45.300
mode for Kamala Harris. They know that she's a thoroughly unimpressive, mediocre figure,
00:47:49.260
so we'll take a massive and relentless propaganda campaign to make her suddenly seem compelling to a
00:47:53.360
large enough portion of the American electorate. The media has its work cut out for it, which is
00:47:57.540
why it has wasted no time rebranding Harris into something that bears no resemblance to who she
00:48:02.060
actually is. But on the left, we know that making someone into a hero, which is what they're in the
00:48:06.620
process of trying to do, also means making them into a victim. There could be no hero who isn't a
00:48:11.700
victim on the left. It is heroic to be a victim in the leftist view of things. And the faux
00:48:17.300
victimization process for Harris has also been in full swing. We're told the people who don't think
00:48:22.580
that she's a qualified candidate, especially those who point out rightly that she didn't make it to
00:48:26.380
this point in her career through her merit, are all sexist and racist. There's one criticism of
00:48:32.060
Harris, though, that has drawn the special ire of the media. Some people have pointed out that
00:48:36.800
Kamala Harris doesn't have kids. And according to these critics, who of course happen to be right,
00:48:42.520
the fact that she has no children makes her even less qualified for the presidency. So here's just
00:48:46.680
one example of someone making this point. Cassandra McDonald tweeted a couple of days ago,
00:48:50.180
quote, it's so weird that Kamala has no children. Too busy ladder climbing, I guess.
00:48:55.500
I don't believe people without kids should be running the country. No skin in the game.
00:48:59.960
I will say that calling it a ladder is very generous to Willie Brown. But her overall point
00:49:05.980
is perfectly valid, though. And as I said, plenty of people have echoed similar sentiments.
00:49:11.320
The media, however, isn't having it. Articles in the New York Times, Rolling Stone, Vogue,
00:49:15.060
even something called the Hindustan Times, have lashed out at these critics.
00:49:21.020
Reading now from the Rolling Stone, Kamala Harris has not given birth to children and is therefore
00:49:25.180
unfit to be president of the United States. Appears to be the first line of attack the GOP has come up
00:49:29.280
with since the presidential race was upended this weekend when President Joe Biden dropped out,
00:49:33.340
which is so predictable that it borders unlaughable. Except that if the last decade has taught us
00:49:37.920
anything, it's that the GOP is deadly serious in its endeavor to turn onion headlines into political
00:49:42.140
platforms and subsequently laws. First of all, Kamala is not childless, nor does she appear to
00:49:47.340
be miserable. Whether she owns a cat is unclear. And even if she were, this would not make her less
00:49:52.380
than. Less than human, less than woman, less than capable, less able to successfully run the country.
00:49:58.940
Unquote. Vogue agrees, adding, quote, it should go without saying that how a person creates or finds
00:50:03.340
family has nothing to do with their value as a person or their fitness as a public servant.
00:50:07.180
But more to the point, would a male presidential candidate ever be raked over the conservative
00:50:11.520
Coles for failing to reflect the one man, one woman, 2.5 children family structure that American
00:50:17.140
culture has idealized since the Cold War? James Buchanan was famously a bachelor after all.
00:50:23.880
Unquote. Meanwhile, the New York Times responds with a historical rebuttal. Quote, if elected,
00:50:29.080
Harris wouldn't be the first American president with no biological children. There were five others,
00:50:33.060
George Washington, James Madison, Andrew Jackson, James Polk, and James Buchanan. Warren Harding had a
00:50:38.360
child out of wedlock and publicly denied paternity. That he was the father was confirmed by DNA testing
00:50:43.840
almost a century later. But more to the point, if you think that the concerns of parents and families
00:50:48.660
will always be abstract to someone who doesn't have children, you're telling on yourself. It's not
00:50:52.720
simply that, by all accounts, Harris has a close, loving relationship with her stepkids. It's that it's
00:50:56.860
possible for people who have basic empathy to understand the needs, aspirations, and concerns of
00:51:00.780
fellow citizens who aren't exactly like them, and to commit to their well-being. It should go without
00:51:04.600
saying. Having children doesn't necessarily make you a better person. Well, that did go without
00:51:12.100
saying, which is why you didn't need to say it, and no one is claiming otherwise. I've never heard
00:51:16.920
anyone claim that people with kids are necessarily better people than those without them. That is not
00:51:22.440
the argument. So let's go through this point by point. First of all, yes, there have been other
00:51:27.840
childless presidents before, but if you count Warren Harding, it's been 100 years since the
00:51:32.660
last one. If you don't count him, it's been 150 years. So the history cuts against you here. I mean,
00:51:39.060
it's accurate to say then that nearly every U.S. president, nearly everyone has had children. And
00:51:45.060
over the past century, every U.S. president has had children. Now, sure, George Washington is one of
00:51:51.260
the greatest figures in American history, president or otherwise, and he didn't have children. But there are
00:51:56.820
exceptions to every rule, and I have no problem accepting him as one of them. I'll put it this
00:52:00.460
way. If Kamala Harris was the second coming of George Washington, I would not be at all concerned
00:52:05.620
about her lack of children. But she isn't, okay? Not even close. So anytime someone says, well, but
00:52:13.440
George Washington didn't have kids, yeah, that's George Washington, okay? Kamala Harris is not George
00:52:18.960
Washington. Also, all of these childless men were not childless by choice. They were unable to have
00:52:25.660
kids. For George Washington in particular, the fact that he could have no children of his own
00:52:29.640
was a source of great pain in his life. That's a very different thing from someone who chooses to
00:52:35.720
forego children in order to pursue their career. George Washington was not what we would now call
00:52:41.420
child-free by choice. In fact, he would have been fairly horrified by such a mentality if anyone in his
00:52:48.480
time had had that mentality, which nobody did. Second, you cannot credibly claim that this line
00:52:57.800
of criticism against Harris is sexist and that a male candidate wouldn't experience the same scrutiny.
00:53:03.380
You don't know that. Again, we have not had a childless president in a very long time.
00:53:10.040
Does whoever wrote that Vogue article know that our last truly childless president in the mid-19th
00:53:17.420
century wasn't scrutinized for that fact? Now, I couldn't tell you one way or another, but I haven't
00:53:23.580
gone and looked it up, but I'm not the one making the claim. And I can be pretty sure the person who
00:53:27.680
wrote that article didn't go back and look to see if that criticism was ever made of those other men.
00:53:33.420
And if I had to guess, I would say it probably was. But here's the thing. We don't need to go back
00:53:38.240
that far. In fact, conservatives have made this point about male politicians who aren't even
00:53:44.440
president and are on our side of the aisle. And we have made that in this election cycle.
00:53:51.580
I myself argued just a few months ago, and I was not the only conservative saying this,
00:53:55.740
that one of the many reasons I didn't want Tim Scott as the nominee, not that he ever had a chance,
00:54:00.060
is that he's unmarried and childless. We had this exact conversation about having childless
00:54:06.020
people running the country. We had this a few months ago about a man who's a Republican.
00:54:12.620
So this is a point that we do apply to men. And it's a valid point. Okay, nobody is saying that
00:54:19.420
Harris being childless is the main reason, much less the only reason to oppose her candidacy.
00:54:24.540
If everything else about her was great, I think most of us bringing up this weakness would be willing
00:54:28.960
to overlook it, but it would still be a weakness. That's because having children gives you a stake in
00:54:34.060
the future of the country that those without children simply don't have. Okay, that's not a
00:54:38.760
moral judgment. It's just a fact. You have more invested in the future of the country when you
00:54:45.260
have children who will be living in it. Those without children can and hopefully do still care about the
00:54:54.040
future. But for them, the future, especially the future beyond their own death, is a much more
00:55:00.900
more abstract concern. Now, it's possible to care about a place where you don't live and have never
00:55:07.860
been. Yet your concern for that place is going to be more abstract than the concern of someone who
00:55:13.700
actually lives there and calls it home. So when you have kids, your bloodline, a piece of you,
00:55:20.120
the children that you love and would die to protect are going to live in the future.
00:55:25.060
The country you're creating is the one that your children and grandchildren will call home.
00:55:29.600
This fact won't necessarily give you a seriousness of purpose and a feeling of skin in the game.
00:55:36.840
There are plenty of politicians who are parents and yet still pretty awful, but it can give you that
00:55:43.220
and it should. But this is not really the point, or at least it's not, it's only part of the point.
00:55:50.120
The larger point, as I alluded to earlier, is not that Harris has no children of her own.
00:55:54.000
It's why she has no children of her own. She's a woman who has chosen to dedicate her life to her
00:56:00.120
own personal ambition and career advancement. She has lived a very self-serving life. The lack
00:56:06.840
of children is a symptom of that. Certainly not the only symptom. It's all part of a picture.
00:56:13.820
And that picture is of a woman who cares for nothing but her own ambition.
00:56:17.900
That's the real reason why this matters and why she shouldn't be president.
00:56:24.880
And it's why she is today canceled. That'll do it for the show today.
00:56:28.900
Thanks for watching. Thanks for listening. Have a great day. Talk to you tomorrow. Godspeed.
