00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, I attended the Democrat convention in Chicago this week.
00:00:03.980 I was shocked to discover that I am not welcome there, but I still had a very enlightening
00:00:08.560 and productive time.
00:00:09.480 I'll tell you all about it, show you the footage also today on the show.
00:00:12.560 Also, Oprah gave a speech last night where she explained that the American dream depends
00:00:16.620 on our ability to kill our own children.
00:00:18.860 Plus, the media proclaims that Democrats have figured out how to win the white rural vote,
00:00:22.800 and all it takes is a camo hat.

00:01:51.860 This week, I was deeply honored to attend the Democrat National Convention in Chicago.
00:01:56.920 Now, before I tell you about my experiences, I want to dispel one rumor right away.
00:02:01.400 There are some who assume that I only went to the DNC to shamelessly promote my new film,
00:02:06.780 Am I Racist?, which premieres September 13th.
00:02:09.360 Tickets are on sale now at miracist.com.
00:02:11.980 These people think that the entire thing was one big stunt, that I went to the DNC knowing
00:02:16.340 that the left would get angry and start complaining about it on social media, thereby unwittingly
00:02:20.620 helping me to advertise my film.
00:02:22.680 The whole point was to generate headlines like this in the Daily Mail, Matt Walsh enrages
00:02:26.880 Democrats by crashing DNC in white dudes for Kamala Harris disguise, an article that includes
00:02:31.840 a lengthy description of the film along with a link to the trailer.
00:02:35.560 That's how some people see this, as some kind of low-rent gimmick to raise awareness
00:02:40.500 about my film, Am I Racist?
00:02:42.400 Tickets on sale now at miracist.com.
00:02:44.140 Admittedly, if that was my plan, then we'd have to say that it worked tremendously well.
00:02:50.220 We sold a lot of tickets because of it, and every leftist who complained about my presence
00:02:54.320 at the convention was falling directly into the trap, if there was a trap, but there wasn't
00:02:59.860 because that was not my plan.
00:03:01.020 I want to be very clear at the outset that I would never dream of doing anything like
00:03:06.540 that.
00:03:06.880 I have too much respect for our glorious democracy to make a mockery of a political convention
00:03:12.840 by using it to promote a movie, even a movie like Am I Racist, which premieres September
00:03:18.100 13th, tickets on sale at miracist.com.
00:03:20.320 This whole thing had nothing at all to do with my film, Am I Racist, premiering September
00:03:25.140 13th, tickets on sale at miracist.com.
00:03:27.580 So now that we've put that to rest, I'd like instead to explain why I really did attend the
00:03:33.380 DNC and what I learned there, because the honest truth is that I went to the event as part of
00:03:39.860 my ongoing journey of self-discovery, and that's a journey that begins in the movie, but certainly
00:03:44.560 doesn't end there.
00:03:46.020 I wanted to learn how to be a better anti-racist, a better citizen, a better human being, and
00:03:53.160 what better place to do that than a convention with a baby-killing bus right out front.
00:03:58.240 Now, I realize, of course, that elephant in the room here, no pun intended, that I am
00:04:04.540 not a popular figure in Democratic circles.
00:04:08.280 I would go so far as to say that many of these people have a negative view of me.
00:04:13.700 But I also knew that Democrats value tolerance above all.
00:04:18.020 They embrace diversity.
00:04:19.780 They have a welcoming and loving attitude towards everyone.
00:04:22.500 And I took great solace in that, and I knew that I would be greeted with the same spirit,
00:04:29.340 a spirit of joy and welcoming, especially because I was attending the event in my man
00:04:34.440 bun and my white dudes for Harris shirt, which was my way of signaling that I'm a member of
00:04:39.660 the tribe.
00:04:40.260 I'm a safe person to have in their safe space.
00:04:43.440 But this wasn't just about bettering myself, I should say.
00:04:45.660 I also wanted to alert the attendees to one of the greatest dangers lurking in the world
00:04:49.380 today, Project 2025.
00:04:51.040 Now, everybody's heard of Project 2025 at this point, but nobody really knows what it
00:04:55.640 is.
00:04:56.480 And the people at the DNC especially don't know what it is, which is why I brought some
00:05:00.120 literature to educate them on the subject.
00:05:02.260 And we'll have more on that in a few minutes.
00:05:04.020 But first, I'll show you the wonderful conversation that I had with somebody shortly after I arrived
00:05:09.500 at the convention on our first day.
00:05:11.520 And this was a lovely woman with pink hair and a COVID mask.
00:05:15.660 We dialogued about many important issues, including racial justice.
00:05:19.280 I thought it was a great conversation.
00:05:21.780 Here's a quick snippet of that.
00:05:23.080 So are you partisan for a partisan?
00:05:25.960 Well, we're partisan for the truth.
00:05:27.120 That's what we're partisan for.
00:05:27.640 Right.
00:05:28.000 Nice.
00:05:28.400 I like that.
00:05:29.080 Partisan for the truth.
00:05:30.320 That's good.
00:05:31.140 Even I'm wearing a Kamala Harris hat.
00:05:32.480 Right.
00:05:32.720 I know.
00:05:33.220 It's not partisan.
00:05:34.340 But I'm advocating for her.
00:05:35.860 It's like a nonpartisan way.
00:05:37.180 Yeah.
00:05:37.840 Exactly.
00:05:38.360 Because if you're not, if you don't vote for Kamala Harris and Trump gets in, these policies
00:05:42.800 get implemented.
00:05:43.900 Yeah.
00:05:44.140 It's all.
00:05:44.480 We've got to stop Trump.
00:05:45.660 Kamala's going to get in.
00:05:46.880 You know, it's good.
00:05:47.780 It's going to happen.
00:05:49.280 But...
00:05:49.580 Fingers crossed.
00:05:50.060 Right.
00:05:50.360 Fingers crossed.
00:05:50.860 But if she doesn't, again, they're going to continue to try pushing.
00:05:56.700 With racial justice, it's a particular focus of mine.
00:05:59.080 Uh-huh.
00:05:59.780 Is that important to you in your personal life to decolonize, de-center your whiteness?
00:06:03.540 Hands down.
00:06:04.640 Absolutely.
00:06:05.240 In everything you do, you have to think about...
00:06:07.340 How do you do that on a daily basis?
00:06:09.000 You get up in the morning, you're de-centering.
00:06:10.720 First of all, who has access?
00:06:12.460 Who's at the table?
00:06:13.660 And who's in the room?
00:06:15.200 I'm going to go a little overboard.
00:06:16.460 Yeah.
00:06:16.780 Go.
00:06:17.040 Let's hear it.
00:06:17.460 Let's hear it.
00:06:17.940 If I walk into a room and there are people of color in the room, I want to literally
00:06:20.540 not be in the center of the room.
00:06:22.000 Uh-huh.
00:06:22.580 Yep.
00:06:22.840 So I'm walking around the edges of the room.
00:06:25.220 Just so I'm not in the center.
00:06:26.360 Not everyone goes that far.
00:06:27.280 Right.
00:06:27.680 And that, no, that's...
00:06:28.460 I'm just super committed to it.
00:06:29.200 That's...
00:06:29.800 I mean, I walk in a room, I'm white, but I'm also an anti-Zionist Jew of Ukrainian descent.
00:06:36.300 I'm also a lesbian.
00:06:37.780 I also, you know, identify as a dyke.
00:06:40.000 So, like, all those things.
00:06:41.240 You got a couple more...
00:06:43.040 But, you know, but...
00:06:43.800 I don't think I'm going to say points, but you have a couple more points.
00:06:45.800 Right.
00:06:46.160 So you have to be aware.
00:06:47.600 I have no points.
00:06:48.880 Well, no, no, but you have a say.
00:06:51.640 And also, if you're not fighting for reproductive justice as a man, especially as a straight man,
00:06:56.540 that's some work to do, right?
00:06:58.660 Yeah.
00:06:59.040 I look around this place.
00:07:00.040 Uh-huh.
00:07:00.420 There's too many white people.
00:07:01.840 Oh, absolutely.
00:07:02.580 Yeah.
00:07:02.920 Too many white people.
00:07:03.380 But a lot of black women who are organizing, and they always have...
00:07:07.980 But then the white people are walking through.
00:07:09.800 Yeah.
00:07:10.240 Right.
00:07:10.660 Because the black women set it up, the white people show up.
00:07:12.720 But this is an elite scenario here.
00:07:15.240 Yeah.
00:07:15.460 I mean, it is.
00:07:16.260 It's just like anybody can come, but really, can they?
00:07:18.700 Do they feel like they're welcome?
00:07:21.220 I don't want any camera.
00:07:23.500 Well, it was great talking to you.
00:07:24.320 All right.
00:07:24.700 Yeah, you too.
00:07:25.440 You too.
00:07:25.840 Take it easy.
00:07:26.380 Thank you.
00:07:26.720 Yeah.
00:07:26.900 We'll do the shake thing.
00:07:27.860 Well, yeah, because you put the mask.
00:07:29.540 I don't want to...
00:07:29.840 All right, we'll do that.
00:07:30.420 Yeah, okay.
00:07:30.980 We'll do that.
00:07:31.540 Yeah.
00:07:31.960 All right.
00:07:32.700 All right.
00:07:33.020 Take care.
00:07:33.640 All right.
00:07:34.600 That was a great discussion.
00:07:35.600 We seem to be on the same page.
00:07:37.520 Left on good terms.
00:07:39.220 And I was excited to walk around the convention, talk to many more people, many of them also
00:07:44.140 wearing pink hair and COVID masks.
00:07:46.380 But unfortunately, after talking to one person, having a completely civil and intelligent conversation,
00:07:51.640 you just saw it, and even, dare I say, becoming best friends, I was nonetheless reported
00:07:58.100 to security and escorted from the building and told that I'm banned for the rest of the week
00:08:03.280 just because of that conversation.
00:08:04.440 So I've been requested to escort you out and ask you to leave.
00:08:08.700 Okay.
00:08:08.880 And in the process, we're going to need your wristbands back as well.
00:08:11.820 Why?
00:08:12.060 Why are they kicking me out?
00:08:15.920 The people running an event is requesting that.
00:08:17.800 So this is an event run by the organization, and they want you out.
00:08:23.660 Oh, they didn't give a reason?
00:08:25.080 What's that?
00:08:25.560 They didn't give a reason?
00:08:26.660 They only gave me a reason.
00:08:27.680 All right.
00:08:28.580 I wasn't causing the scene.
00:08:29.720 It was very, very friendly.
00:08:30.760 I understand.
00:08:31.860 Anything you want to say?
00:08:33.500 Pardon the escort?
00:08:34.580 All right.
00:08:35.500 Cool.
00:08:36.460 Let's go ahead and escort them out.
00:08:38.460 All right, guys.
00:08:39.340 I got my...
00:08:40.360 I got the t-shirt for the event.
00:08:42.480 I understand.
00:08:43.260 So, all right.
00:08:44.440 You have to leave the premises, and we also need your wristbands back to the building.
00:08:48.220 So we're able to come back tomorrow, or is this a one-day thing?
00:08:54.660 I'm going to defund the police until they're calling the police, huh?
00:08:56.880 All right, guys.
00:08:58.400 They're requesting you don't come back for the rest of the week at this location, all right?
00:09:02.420 For the whole week?
00:09:03.500 For the whole week.
00:09:04.380 And they didn't say what I did wrong?
00:09:07.820 They don't need to.
00:09:08.980 All right.
00:09:09.980 Have a good day.
00:09:10.860 Please don't come back.
00:09:13.800 Have a good day.
00:09:14.740 Please don't come back.
00:09:17.000 What did I do to deserve that treatment?
00:09:18.920 I came to learn and grow as a person and an ally.
00:09:22.080 Instead, I was thrown out into the cold.
00:09:25.760 And why did they treat me like that?
00:09:27.200 What did I do wrong?
00:09:28.480 What were they trying to tell me?
00:09:31.080 You know, they said, please don't come back.
00:09:32.900 But I knew that there must be a deeper message.
00:09:35.500 I thought about it.
00:09:36.380 And I realized that don't come back must have meant don't go back to who you were before.
00:09:44.180 Don't become your old self again.
00:09:46.600 You know, they weren't saying don't come back physically to the convention.
00:09:49.360 They were speaking metaphorically, poetically, I realized.
00:09:53.160 So later that night, I did go back.
00:09:55.340 Only this time, I had learned a valuable lesson.
00:09:57.580 If you want to become, be, you know, welcomed in left-wing spaces, it's important to not talk to anyone or express any point of view at all at any point.
00:10:04.920 And I knew that everything would be fine if I just walked on the convention floor and blended in with the crowd.
00:10:11.340 In fact, you can see here in the footage that I'm not causing any trouble.
00:10:15.000 I'm just not talking to anyone.
00:10:16.560 I'm not creating a scene.
00:10:18.560 I'm walking around, sitting, listening, applauding.
00:10:24.060 Everything was fine.
00:10:24.880 Everything was going well.
00:10:25.580 But then, as I was venturing around and taking in the sights, I may have accidentally, entirely unintentionally, through no fault of my own, stumbled right into the middle of a CNN interview with Senator Chuck Schumer.
00:10:40.040 Watch.
00:10:41.500 Worked with all kinds of people, and she was effective in getting things done.
00:10:45.820 One of the things she pushed, which we succeeded in, was $35 insulin for our senior citizens.
00:10:51.780 Now we're going to get it for everybody.
00:10:53.220 What's your response when Trump takes credit on that?
00:10:56.160 Trump takes credit for so many things he doesn't do and gets the blame for a lot of things he does do.
00:11:02.420 He's lost his bearings, as we can see, day by day.
00:11:05.820 Senator Chuck Schumer, I know you've got a lot to do on the convention floor.
00:11:08.580 Thank you for taking the time to talk to us.
00:11:09.960 Great to see you.
00:11:10.700 Anderson, back to you.
00:11:11.540 David, thanks very much.
00:11:12.400 Scott, I interrupted you.
00:11:15.320 So I know you might see me walking in the direction of the live shot, plotting right through it, staring at the camera,
00:11:20.960 then turning around and walking back in the same direction,
00:11:23.780 and then turning around and walking through the shot again for a third time.
00:11:26.980 And you see that, and you think that this was some ridiculous, immature, intentional attempt to photobomb Chuck Schumer.
00:11:35.140 And frankly, I'm offended by the mere suggestion.
00:11:37.520 First of all, I'm in the media.
00:11:38.780 I'm a professional.
00:11:39.900 Okay?
00:11:40.040 I would never photobomb anyone.
00:11:42.700 Second, once again, I'm there to learn.
00:11:44.740 Third, I've never been on the convention floor before.
00:11:46.920 I didn't know where I was.
00:11:48.240 I was confused.
00:11:49.180 I didn't know where to go.
00:11:50.100 Okay?
00:11:50.400 So that was happening there.
00:11:52.120 Now, regardless, this clip made its way to Twitter.
00:11:54.360 And next thing you know, other people on the convention floor were taking pictures and posting angrily about my presence.
00:12:02.940 A reporter from Bulwark approached and asked if I was Matt Walsh.
00:12:07.700 And he recounts this exchange in an article on the site.
00:12:10.560 Quote,
00:12:10.780 Now, I can confirm that that is an accurate quote.
00:12:32.520 And it was true.
00:12:34.380 I was a new man.
00:12:35.000 And the security guard told me not to go back to my old ways, to change myself, to be transformed.
00:12:40.800 He didn't say that exactly, but that was his point, right?
00:12:42.960 That's what he was trying to say.
00:12:44.120 And so I took it to heart.
00:12:46.280 Nonetheless, next thing you know, I was trending on Twitter on a night that was supposed to be Michelle and Barack's big night, which is really embarrassing for me.
00:12:54.800 And lots of angry tweets were posted, like this one.
00:12:58.520 Fam, Matt Walsh is at the Dem convention posing as a delegate.
00:13:01.380 Do not talk to him.
00:13:02.340 Call him out.
00:13:02.900 Tell security if you can.
00:13:03.900 Please reshare to spread the word.
00:13:06.480 Hate monger.
00:13:07.300 Fake.
00:13:07.820 Loser.
00:13:10.040 Now, there were hundreds of other tweets along these lines.
00:13:13.040 And the Democrats were frantically warning each other about me.
00:13:15.880 They were on the lookout.
00:13:17.600 My man bun was suddenly like the dorsal fin in Jaws.
00:13:21.640 I was the monster from the deep, swimming through the crowd of people.
00:13:25.380 And they were on edge.
00:13:26.320 They were nervous.
00:13:26.940 They were very unhappy to have me there.
00:13:29.000 And the outrage continued on social media long into the night, well after the event had concluded for the evening.
00:13:32.960 And I have to tell you that, you know, I don't usually get this vulnerable on the show.
00:13:38.780 But I left that night feeling defeated.
00:13:42.500 All I wanted to do was learn and evolve and become a better ally.
00:13:46.160 I didn't want any attention.
00:13:48.220 It's the last thing that I wanted.
00:13:50.760 And I didn't want to cause any problems.
00:13:53.240 Again, I certainly didn't want to draw attention to myself, or least of all my movie, Am I Racist, premiering September 13th.
00:13:58.560 Tickets on sale at amiracist.com.
00:14:00.420 So I didn't sleep much that night.
00:14:02.120 I was tossing and turning, struggling with feelings of rejection.
00:14:07.240 Would I ever be accepted as an ally?
00:14:09.260 Would these people ever welcome me into their fold?
00:14:12.480 That's what I was asking myself.
00:14:13.620 Well, the next morning, I knew what I had to do.
00:14:15.460 I'd already been kicked out and banned from the premises once.
00:14:18.600 I'd been caught accidentally on national TV.
00:14:21.920 I was trending.
00:14:22.620 People were angry.
00:14:23.320 They didn't want me there.
00:14:24.040 That was clear.
00:14:25.780 And I was going to respect that.
00:14:27.340 I was not going to go back.
00:14:28.560 To the convention.
00:14:30.020 So instead, my whole team went back.
00:14:33.500 And they dressed in Kamala Harris gear.
00:14:35.700 Got new wristbands, because the old ones had been confiscated by security.
00:14:38.920 And spent the afternoon handing out hundreds of flyers to the people at the convention.
00:14:44.720 I knew that I couldn't be there in person, but I still needed to get the message out.
00:14:48.440 That's how committed I was.
00:14:51.060 I needed to warn the convention attendees about the radical Project 2025 agenda.
00:14:57.120 They might not welcome me, but I still care about them.
00:15:01.200 I am concerned for their safety.
00:15:03.100 So I had to let them know the truth about Project 2025 one way or another.
00:15:09.580 Now, I had been able to hand out a bunch of the cards myself, as you can see here the day before.
00:15:13.540 But I wanted my team to pass out hundreds more.
00:15:16.560 I said, go in and get these circulate hundreds of get them get them circulating all throughout the entire convention.
00:15:23.240 Get a card in every person's hand.
00:15:25.400 That's how important this is.
00:15:26.800 And the cards all had a simple message, which was visit Project2025.com to learn the truth about Trump's radical plans for America.
00:15:35.640 In fact, one of my producers, Ben, who also appears in the movie, Am I Racist, premiering September 13th, had a chance to give a card to Don Lemon and was even interviewed about the website by Don.
00:15:46.220 Watch.
00:15:48.220 Project 2025.com, I want you to learn a little bit more about Trump's absolute radical plan.
00:15:53.040 This is what we're asking people about, but I can't comment.
00:15:55.600 No, but if you go to that website, you'll find out a lot more.
00:15:58.040 Thank you so much.
00:15:58.700 Thank you.
00:15:59.120 Thank you.
00:15:59.520 Now, I want you all to go to Project2025.com yourself to read all of this important information.
00:16:06.860 But for your edification, I'll tell you what's on the site.
00:16:09.740 And you can see it here.
00:16:10.700 It's beautifully designed.
00:16:12.840 This is cutting-edge graphic design, the most beautiful website that you'd ever find in 1997.
00:16:18.560 And right in the middle of the page is a trailer for my new film, Am I Racist, premiering September 13th.
00:16:25.580 From there, you can click a link to find out about our next meeting, which takes you to a page to buy tickets for the film.
00:16:31.240 If you click where it says, Make a DEI for Ince, it will also take you to a page to buy tickets.
00:16:37.100 Most of the links actually just take you to a page to buy tickets.
00:16:39.840 Although, if you click the audio link on the site, it takes you here.
00:16:48.560 We'll see you next time.
00:17:18.560 Because the best way to fight Project 2025, whatever the hell it is, is to see my movie, Am I Racist, premiering September 13th.
00:17:29.000 So, my journey at the DNC may have been rough at certain points.
00:17:33.620 There were some speed bumps along the way, as there always is when you're learning.
00:17:36.920 But in the end, I think we all came to understand each other.
00:17:41.300 We grew together.
00:17:42.800 We became better people.
00:17:44.000 And now, I know one simple truth.
00:17:48.060 And it's the same truth that everyone at the DNC now knows, too.
00:17:52.400 That Am I Racist premieres September 13th.
00:17:55.020 And tickets are on sale at miracist.com.
00:17:58.420 Or project2025.com.
00:18:01.920 Now, let's get to our five headlines.
00:18:03.300 You didn't vote for this recession, but you sure as heck pay for it at the pump, at the grocery store.

00:18:54.080 Let Done With Debt hit the debt reset button for you and make your money yours again.
00:18:58.540 But again, this is time-sensitive, so you need to visit donewithdebt.com or call 1-888-322-1054 right now.
00:19:05.880 Chat with one of their debt relief strategists for free.
00:19:08.480 Go to donewithdebt.com.
00:19:09.820 That's donewithdebt.com.
00:19:12.120 All right.
00:19:13.320 So switching abruptly tones here.
00:19:17.640 A lot of speakers at the DNC have babbled nonsensically, lied with impunity, made stuff up.
00:19:26.840 And we could spend all day dissecting all of it.
00:19:29.540 That would be a waste of time.
00:19:30.600 But I did want to make special mention of this moment from PA Governor Josh Shapiro during his speech last night.
00:19:38.100 Watch.
00:19:38.360 Will we be a nation defined by chaos and extremism, or will we choose a path of decency, honor, and continued progress?
00:19:53.920 Kamala Harris, well, she has spent her entire career making progress.
00:20:00.320 Donald Trump, a man with no guardrails, wants to take away our rights and our freedoms.
00:20:08.200 And listen, while he cloaks himself in the blanket of freedom, what he's offering isn't freedom at all.
00:20:17.980 Because, hear me on this, it's not freedom to tell our children what books they're allowed to read.
00:20:26.600 No, it's not.
00:20:27.960 And it's not freedom to tell women what they can do with their bodies.
00:20:39.160 And hear me on this, it sure as hell isn't freedom to say, you can go vote, but he gets to pick the winner.
00:20:47.960 That's not freedom.
00:20:49.060 But you know what?
00:20:53.500 You know what, Democrats?
00:20:55.760 We, we are the party of real freedom.
00:21:01.560 Hear me on this.
00:21:03.300 Hear me on this.
00:21:05.160 Kamala Harris does the same thing now.
00:21:06.700 She picked up the same, hear me now, hear me on this.
00:21:11.160 They all, it really is creepy how Democrats simultaneously pick up certain words and phrases all at once and use it incessantly.
00:21:19.600 And you know, that seems to be one example.
00:21:21.100 Of course, the most prominent example is the weird thing.
00:21:23.840 Like all at once, they all started running around calling everything weird.
00:21:28.000 And, and they all use that word now.
00:21:30.420 I mean, all of them.
00:21:32.480 It, anything that they don't agree with is automatically weird.
00:21:36.040 A month ago, none of them used that word in a, in a pejorative way.
00:21:40.420 And now they all do all the time.
00:21:42.380 And that level of programming, it's just disturbing.
00:21:45.220 I mean, it's, in fact, there was a booth at the,
00:21:48.160 just to show you like how far this goes.
00:21:51.600 They, they, they had this in merch.
00:21:53.200 The weird, like the weird branding is part of their merch at the DNC.
00:21:56.900 There was a, a booth that was selling stickers that said,
00:22:00.300 it's so weird.
00:22:02.400 And it didn't even make any sense.
00:22:03.700 Like it's a sticker.
00:22:04.700 Are you using that sticker to accuse other people of being weird?
00:22:08.880 I assume you're getting the sticker and putting it on your,
00:22:11.840 somewhere on your clothing or on your apparel somewhere.
00:22:14.600 So you're calling yourself weird or, or has weird gone back to being a good thing again?
00:22:19.780 I don't know.
00:22:20.200 But, um, and the programming switch can, can happen at any time.
00:22:24.380 That's not really the point.
00:22:25.360 The point from that clip is, um, Josh Shapiro's examples of freedom, speaking of weird.
00:22:30.360 And he says, it's not freedom to tell our children what books they're allowed to read.
00:22:35.520 Now, as you know, this is in reality, Josh Shapiro defending gay pornography in schools,
00:22:42.080 because what he's directly referring to is the attempt by Republicans to get gay porn out of schools.
00:22:48.480 And, and that, so that is, that means that this creep wants gay pornography in schools.
00:22:52.660 That's what he's saying.
00:22:53.220 And, um, and also everyone in the crowd knows that also.
00:22:58.920 So they, they are, they are explicitly, very directly, intentionally applauding gay pornography in schools.
00:23:05.480 That's an applaud line now at the DNC.
00:23:08.940 Um, and when he says, we don't have, we don't have freedom unless children have access to,
00:23:16.460 really, we don't, we don't have freedom if children don't have access to sexually explicit material,
00:23:21.920 especially homosexual material in school.
00:23:25.080 That's what this degenerate is saying.
00:23:26.800 But let's, uh, let's even, if we can, put that to the side.
00:23:32.660 I mean, it's hard to do, because if you are someone who believes that gay porn should be in the schools,
00:23:37.140 you should be on a watch list somewhere.
00:23:39.080 Like, you should be on the sex offender registry.
00:23:40.820 You should not be a governor of a state.
00:23:44.980 You're, you're, like, I wouldn't let my kids around you.
00:23:46.980 It's not safe to have children around you if that is your opinion.
00:23:49.600 But, let's try to put that to the side.
00:23:54.980 And ignore the fact that he's defending gay porn in schools.
00:23:59.980 And, and, and let's just take the statement at face value.
00:24:04.240 It's not freedom to tell our children what books they're allowed to read.
00:24:10.260 What?
00:24:11.980 I mean, do you not tell your children what books they can read?
00:24:16.500 Would you allow your children to read any book they want?
00:24:21.120 Okay, if your eight-year-old picks up Fifty Shades of Grey, are you going to let them read it?
00:24:27.860 If, if, if you would let them read it, then you're guilty of parental neglect at a minimum.
00:24:33.560 If you aren't letting them, then what?
00:24:36.220 You hate freedom?
00:24:37.040 Children don't have absolute freedom or anything close to it.
00:24:45.040 I mean, adults don't have absolute freedom either, but children have even less.
00:24:49.980 We tell our children what to do, where to go, what not to do, where not to go, what to say, what not to say.
00:24:56.860 This is called parenting.
00:24:57.920 Hey, hey, Josh, do you let your kids, uh, cuss in your house?
00:25:03.840 Would you let them go around cussing?
00:25:06.820 So you hate freedom?
00:25:08.780 It's not freedom to tell a child what he's not allowed to say.
00:25:13.700 Is that your position?
00:25:15.940 You moron?
00:25:18.900 Look, I don't even know if Josh Shapiro has kids.
00:25:20.640 I hope he doesn't.
00:25:21.880 Given his position on giving gay pornography to kids, I hope he doesn't have kids.
00:25:25.640 I'm worried for his kids in that case.
00:25:28.560 But if he does, do they have total freedom in your home?
00:25:31.860 They can just do whatever they want?
00:25:33.660 Or do you have rules?
00:25:35.840 Like strict rules about, here's what you can say, here's what you can't say.
00:25:40.480 Here's behavior that's allowed.
00:25:41.740 Here's what's not allowed.
00:25:43.420 If you break those rules, here are the punishments.
00:25:46.980 So talking about freedom like it's an absolute.
00:25:50.300 Like people should just have the ability to literally do whatever they want all the time.
00:25:54.040 Talking about it in that way is asinine, because nobody actually believes in that.
00:25:59.860 Talking about it with kids is even more asinine.
00:26:06.240 And I'm saying all this because I'm sort of like assuming maybe naively that it's self-evidently absurd to everyone.
00:26:15.620 That you don't give your kids total freedom to do whatever they want.
00:26:18.540 But then I also realized that for a lot of these leftists, you know, they are horrible parents.
00:26:24.080 And they probably essentially do allow their kids to do everything they want.
00:26:28.680 Which is why their kids grow up to be horrible people.
00:26:32.340 All right.
00:26:33.000 Oprah also spoke last night.
00:26:34.600 And during the speech, she revealed something very painful and powerful, which is that she too is a victim.
00:26:39.360 From the Redwood Forest, love those Redwoods, to the Gulf Stream waters, I've seen racism and sexism and income inequality and division.
00:26:51.500 I've not only seen it, at times I've been on the receiving end of it.
00:26:57.720 Now, Oprah is worth $3 billion, just so you know.
00:27:02.120 She's one of the richest people in the country.
00:27:03.880 And her story, her story is actually inspirational.
00:27:06.200 She was born to, I think, an unmarried mother who was a maid.
00:27:10.820 And her father was a coal miner or something like that.
00:27:13.360 And she was raised in poverty.
00:27:15.520 She went on to become one of the richest people in the country as a black woman.
00:27:19.840 And that kind of thing is just not possible anywhere else in the world.
00:27:22.840 It is definitive proof of a lot of things.
00:27:25.700 And mainly that there isn't any kind of conspiracy keeping racial minorities down.
00:27:30.920 Because if there was, if we lived in not only an anti-black racist culture, but even a misogynistic, sexist, patriarchal culture or whatever.
00:27:46.040 Patriarchal in the pejorative way that they mean it.
00:27:48.140 If that was the case, then being black, a woman, and poor would mean definitely that you could never be anything but poor.
00:28:00.820 Like, it would be impossible to make it all the way to the heights that Oprah has made it.
00:28:05.100 And it's not even like she just, she made some good investments or something and became a billionaire.
00:28:14.540 I mean, she has made a lot of investments.
00:28:16.160 But what got her to that, on her way to becoming one of the richest people in the country, is as a media personality.
00:28:26.240 Because she was so appealing and resonated so much with so many people in the country.
00:28:31.480 In this supposedly racist country of ours.
00:28:36.840 But rather than celebrate that fact and be grateful for it, Oprah goes on about how America is racist and sexist, of course.
00:28:42.660 But that was not the worst part of her speech by a mile.
00:28:45.460 The worst part was this.
00:28:47.860 Now, over the last couple of nights, we have all seen brave people walk onto this stage and share their most private pain.
00:28:57.580 Amanda and Josh, Caitlin, Hadley.
00:29:01.820 They told us their stories of rape and incest and near-death experiences from having the state deny them the abortion that their doctor explained was medically necessary.
00:29:15.540 And they've told us these things for one reason.
00:29:18.080 And that is to keep what happened to them from happening to anybody else.
00:29:23.000 Because if you do not have autonomy over this, over this, if you cannot control when and how you choose to bring your children into this world and how they are raised and supported, there is no American dream.
00:29:42.640 Now, really listen to what she's saying there.
00:29:45.360 Listen to it and think about what she's saying.
00:29:48.140 She's saying the American dream is dead if you can't kill your child.
00:29:51.880 The murder of children is what keeps the American dream alive.
00:29:56.300 I mean, this is pure savagery.
00:29:58.220 This is like the Aztecs making human sacrifices to appease the god.
00:30:03.000 This is Aztec levels of barbarism.
00:30:07.980 It is unthinkably, inconceivably evil.
00:30:11.060 And it's coming from one of the most mainstream voices in the country.
00:30:13.440 Probably the mainstream voice in the country is what this is coming from.
00:30:19.060 And, you know, she says that you should choose how and when to bring your children into the world.
00:30:24.060 I totally agree.
00:30:24.740 But once you have conceived them, they're already in the world.
00:30:32.220 An unborn child is in the world.
00:30:34.700 Where else would he be?
00:30:35.620 He's not on Jupiter.
00:30:36.420 He's not hanging out on Pluto somewhere.
00:30:40.340 He doesn't exist in some kind of alternate dimension.
00:30:43.840 He isn't a fictional character.
00:30:45.600 He's in the world.
00:30:46.580 He's on Earth, right?
00:30:47.720 So he's in the world already.
00:30:52.800 And also, of course, abortion has nothing to do with bodily autonomy.
00:30:56.560 The question is not whether you can control your own body.
00:30:58.980 It's whether you should be able to exercise absolute total control over the body of your child,
00:31:04.220 even to the point of destroying your child's body and ending his life intentionally.
00:31:08.500 That is the question.
00:31:09.480 And anyone who says that, well, yes, the answer is yes to that because, you know,
00:31:16.120 that's all under sort of the purview of the woman's bodily autonomy because the child is entirely dependent on the mother for survival.
00:31:25.620 Well, that's a problem because children continue to be entirely dependent on their mother for survival.
00:31:34.360 For months, if not years, after they're born.
00:31:44.020 So if you can claim bodily autonomy to that extent, where if someone depends on you for their survival, you can just kill them.
00:31:53.260 Well, then you've justified abortion after birth.
00:31:56.860 You've justified post-birth abortions well into infancy, but probably until the age of 18, if not longer.
00:32:04.360 Because the fact is that children are entirely dependent on their parents for survival for years and years and years.
00:32:15.560 And that dependency is a claim on the parents, every aspect of the parents' life to include their body.
00:32:23.420 Like, my children are dependent on me and my wife for survival.
00:32:28.060 And in order for us to keep them alive, you know, that is a claim that they are making on our entire lives.
00:32:39.260 And we live our lives through our bodies.
00:32:43.320 So also our bodies, like, I have to earn money to feed my kids and pay for the house and all that kind of stuff.
00:32:53.940 And I do all of that, like, I don't, I'm not some floating mind out in space.
00:33:02.460 I have to go everywhere with my body, like, everything I do, right?
00:33:07.360 Just like anybody else.
00:33:08.400 Which means that as a parent, like, the concept of total bodily autonomy is just, it's meaningless.
00:33:19.420 It doesn't, it doesn't mean anything.
00:33:21.800 What we understand for children, at least once they're born, is that as a parent, you have a responsibility to the child.
00:33:35.200 And you must fulfill that responsibility, no matter how you feel about it.
00:33:39.740 And if you don't fulfill it, then you'll go to jail.
00:33:42.540 If you just decide, like, I'm not going to feed my kids anymore because it's a strain on me and I don't want to do it, and you just don't feed them, you'll go to prison for that.
00:33:54.940 If you were to decide it's a strain on me to feed my kids and so I'm going to kill them so I don't have to do it anymore, you're definitely going to prison.
00:34:05.020 And why is that?
00:34:05.960 I mean, even leaving direct murder aside, let's just say that you said, you know, I'm my own person, I have my body, I have my life, no one has a right to it, I shouldn't be told what to do, and so I'm not going to feed my kids anymore.
00:34:24.240 And I'm not going to provide a house for them anymore.
00:34:30.200 And then your kids starve to death or die of exposure out in the cold, you go to jail.
00:34:35.040 Everyone agrees that you should go to jail for that.
00:34:38.340 Why is that?
00:34:41.460 Well, because what we understand is that the fact that that is your child means that you have a responsibility to your child that is unique.
00:34:50.880 You don't have that kind of responsibility to anybody else.
00:34:53.480 If a child down the street tragically dies of starvation or of exposure or of abuse, you don't go to jail for that.
00:35:00.760 Now, if you knew that it was happening, you should try to do something about it, but you're not going to go to jail for that.
00:35:08.080 Right?
00:35:08.520 Sadly, children are malnourished all over the world, all the time, and you're not criminally liable for any of that.
00:35:15.680 But you are for your child, for your own child.
00:35:20.120 And why?
00:35:21.640 Because as a society, we recognize you have a unique, special responsibility to your own child.
00:35:27.440 And that responsibility comes before your ideas about your own rights.
00:35:33.120 You do not have the right to not fulfill that responsibility.
00:35:41.180 We all say that about parents.
00:35:46.020 And yet we want to carve out this special exception.
00:35:48.880 Except, well, but unless they're not born yet, in which case, go ahead and kill them.
00:35:53.620 Makes no sense.
00:35:54.500 It's totally incoherent.
00:35:55.900 It's completely indefensible.
00:35:58.360 Logically.
00:35:58.760 It just is not defensible.
00:36:01.140 Now, there was one highlight from Oprah's speech.
00:36:04.280 And if you're listening to the audio podcast, you're going to miss this entirely.
00:36:07.260 But for those watching on video, it's a special moment.
00:36:14.440 Here it is.
00:36:16.140 To a childless cat lady.
00:36:18.360 That cameraman was ready.
00:36:31.920 He spotted the most childless, most cat lady, childless cat lady in the audience.
00:36:37.120 And as soon as Oprah mentioned it, he was right on her.
00:36:41.640 J.D. Vance is attacking childless cat ladies?
00:36:45.120 Cut to one particular woman in the stands.
00:36:47.140 J.D. Vance out here attacking miserable, lonely, bitter, childless cat lady spinsters.
00:36:56.760 Then that woman shows up.
00:36:58.640 And then her looking around after it cuts to her.
00:37:03.300 Like me?
00:37:04.040 Who?
00:37:04.300 Is it talking about me?
00:37:06.460 It's just, I mean, it's comedic perfection.
00:37:08.880 It really is.
00:37:10.060 The comedic timing of all of that is tremendous.
00:37:13.560 So, I really appreciated that.
00:37:20.400 Let's take a look at this.
00:37:21.440 Daily Wire has this, some good news.
00:37:24.180 Former President Donald Trump's campaign indicated on Tuesday that he'd be making, that he would make performing transgender surgeries on minors without parental consent a felony.
00:37:32.660 The promise appeared in Trump's prepared remarks for his Tuesday rally at the Livingston County Sheriff's Department in Howell, Michigan.
00:37:39.980 Excerpts of his prepared remarks were released by his campaign ahead of the event.
00:37:42.520 Trump's remarks said, and to protect our children from sexual mutilation, we will make it a felony for any medical professional to perform surgery on a minor without parental consent.
00:37:53.080 Members of the Trump campaign shared the news about the former president's vow on social media.
00:37:58.480 Big news posted Caroline Levitt, the campaign's national press secretary.
00:38:01.560 Trump's remarks also said that he would be asking for the death penalty for child rapists and child traffickers.
00:38:07.900 Now, this is good.
00:38:12.120 Certainly, death penalty for child rapists and child traffickers, of course.
00:38:16.980 It's crazy that that isn't already a mandatory sentence for anybody convicted of that crime.
00:38:25.520 And it's good to pass a law making it a felony to perform these sexual mutilation surgeries on minors without parental consent.
00:38:34.840 But I do have to say, and I know I'll be accused of being nitpicky here, but child mutilation should be illegal without or with parental consent.
00:38:49.460 Actually, the parental consent is irrelevant to the point entirely.
00:38:56.380 It's actually got nothing to do with parental consent.
00:38:58.320 Sterilizing, butchering, castrating a child, whether you're doing it surgically or medically,
00:39:09.840 is horrifically evil, is never okay, is always going to be one of the worst forms of abuse that you could possibly inflict on a child.
00:39:22.640 And that's the case whether the parents want to do it or not.
00:39:28.580 Like, it doesn't matter if the parent consents to it.
00:39:32.320 And we should also note here that in the vast majority of cases where this sort of thing is happening to kids, the parents do consent to it.
00:39:40.660 Now, there might be some cases where parents don't consent to it and it happens.
00:39:44.180 But, you know, in 99% of cases, when this is happening, the parents are on board with it, tragically on board with it.
00:39:56.340 So if you make that stipulation without parental consent, then it ends up not applying to, like, the vast majority of cases where this has actually happened.
00:40:06.720 So I would suggest that if Trump wins and we get to the point of, you know, actually trying to pass this law to make it a felony, it's not nitpicky.
00:40:23.700 It's very important that we take out the parental consent stipulation.
00:40:28.420 Very important.
00:40:31.160 And because this is not, you might say, well, let's take the, you know, small victories when we can get them.
00:40:38.700 But as I said, it's like this, if you add that stipulation in there, that little caveat, what you've done is you have actually legally protected the vast majority of cases where children are being treated this way.
00:40:53.120 So, and it kind of, like, it sort of misses the point that, again, parental consent is irrelevant.
00:41:02.680 It doesn't matter whether parents consent to it.
00:41:05.880 Who cares what the parent says?
00:41:09.520 You know, it's just like anything else, like any other form of abuse.
00:41:13.880 We don't ask whether the parents were okay with it.
00:41:17.840 In many cases of abuse, the parents are directly inflicting it.
00:41:20.880 So they obviously consented to it, but that doesn't mean anything to us.
00:41:25.500 In fact, if anything, it just makes it worse.
00:41:28.900 Right?
00:41:29.320 The fact that the parents go along with it, that doesn't make it better.
00:41:31.400 It makes it worse.
00:41:35.680 You know, if a child is viciously abused, it's a terrible, evil thing no matter what.
00:41:41.420 But I think we would all agree that, like, a child at a daycare center who is abused at a daycare center, physically abused in some way at a daycare center, without the parent's knowledge, it's a terrible, awful, evil thing.
00:41:54.640 I mean, is it better because the parent wasn't involved?
00:42:01.520 Like, if the parent is inflicting that abuse, that makes it even more evil because you're the parent.
00:42:08.420 You're supposed to be protecting your child.
00:42:11.100 You should be the last one inflicting any harm on the child.
00:42:13.920 So I don't think we should carve out these exceptions at all.
00:42:23.580 And not only should we not carve out the exception, but it's a felony to do this to a kid.
00:42:31.680 It should be great.
00:42:33.880 Who are we charging with a felony?
00:42:35.640 I would say if this procedure is performed on a child, you charge the so-called medical professionals who did it, you also charge the parents.
00:42:47.120 You charge, if this is a situation where, you know, divorced parents and one parent is against it, doesn't want it to happen, you don't charge that parent.
00:42:57.280 If both parents, whatever parents are going along with it, are facilitating this, are bringing the kid to the, you know, the hospital to have this abuse inflicted on them,
00:43:10.920 those parents should be charged with a felony and she'll go to prison for it.
00:43:14.660 So I think that's a very important stipulation.
00:43:21.140 You guys have to see me light this thing so you know that it lights.
00:43:26.060 Does it light?
00:43:28.280 Oh, there we go.
00:43:30.040 Well, that's how you light a candle, folks.
00:43:34.140 As a widely recognized authority on style, home ambiance, and interior design, I can say with certainty the number of times you've wondered,
00:43:43.040 Matt, where do you get your candles is staggering.
00:43:46.020 Well, ponder no longer.
00:43:47.780 Introducing the Candle Club.
00:43:49.220 My exclusive collection of candles is now available, including scents like Mountain Retreat,
00:43:54.000 which features notes of green pine, balsam, and warm spice.

00:44:05.800 And you can join now at thecandleclub.com for exclusive perks.
00:44:09.100 20% off a founding membership, a founder's box, 20% off all candles, exclusive access to members-only scents and more.
00:44:16.740 I can tell you that I actually did have a hand in designing these scents, I think, because they kept bringing me, you know, little vials with scents for the candle.
00:44:26.700 And they'd say what, you know, they'd ask for my notes.
00:44:28.740 And they'd give me one that said, I got the Mountain Retreat one, and I smelled it.
00:44:33.320 And I said, it needs to smell more like a mountain.
00:44:36.100 More mountain!
00:44:37.340 And then they'd bring back something in two days.
00:44:40.160 And I'm pretty sure they didn't do anything.
00:44:41.780 I'm pretty sure they didn't change it at all.
00:44:44.820 But then I smelled it and said, yep, that's right.
00:44:47.060 It smells like a mountain.
00:44:48.260 So anyway, that's the process that went into these candles.
00:44:50.660 And they're free of toxic ingredients and woke ideology, unlike the big brands out there, making them safe for the whole family.
00:44:57.160 There are limited quantities of these exclusive member boxes.
00:45:00.160 So get yours before they're gone.
00:45:02.240 Head to Candle Club.

00:45:07.480 If you've already visited miracist.com and grabbed your tickets for September 13th, thank you.
00:45:12.380 But I'm hearing from some of you that your local theater isn't showing Am I Racist, Daily Wire's first theatrical release yet.
00:45:19.120 Well, here's how we change that.
00:45:20.360 Every ticket sold right now helps add more theaters nationwide.
00:45:23.920 Think of it as the free market actually working.
00:45:25.540 Wait until you see what we uncover about the weird world of DEI and what they really think about you and America.
00:45:31.860 The response to this movie has been phenomenal so far, but we're just getting started.
00:45:35.620 If Am I Racist is playing at a theater near you, head to miracist.com and buy your advance tickets today.
00:45:40.900 Let's get this movie into every theater across the country by September 13th.
00:45:45.000 Now let's get to our daily cancellation.
00:45:46.760 After the third night of the DNC, it's now clear that Democrats aren't interested in talking about policy,
00:45:58.780 probably because they know that price controls and higher taxes aren't particularly popular.
00:46:03.880 So they spent most of their time talking about things like skin color and gender instead.
00:46:07.740 They've gone all in on identity politics.
00:46:10.080 And if that wasn't clear enough after the racially segregated conferences that opened the convention,
00:46:14.720 it became pretty self-evident around the fifth time that Oprah got a standing ovation last night for announcing that Kamala Harris would be our first black woman president.
00:46:22.040 The message was as superficial as possible, and Democrats repeated it often.
00:46:26.320 We were expecting all that, you know, going into the DNC.
00:46:28.660 Anyone who's paid any attention to the Democrat Party of the last few decades could have seen that coming.
00:46:32.840 But even given those extremely low expectations, there was still no way to predict just how superficial and inane things would get
00:46:40.620 when it came time for Democrats to attempt an appeal to a demographic group that they've demonized at every opportunity.
00:46:46.740 And that would be rural voters who are mostly white.
00:46:49.880 As much as Democrats would rather not have to appeal to these voters, the fact is they simply can't ignore them.
00:46:55.280 Something like a quarter of Pennsylvania's residents live in a rural county, for example.
00:47:00.220 And states like Pennsylvania will probably decide the election.
00:47:02.620 So how did Democrats, the party of superficial identity politics, make their pitch to these voters that they clearly disdain?
00:47:09.900 How did Democrats pretend to respect these voters and understand their values and their political views?
00:47:15.260 Well, I hope you're sitting down because this is pretty tremendous stuff.
00:47:19.400 To great fanfare, Democrats rolled out a camo hat on their official merch store.
00:47:26.120 And then Kamala Harris's stepdaughter put it on.
00:47:29.660 So here's the hat in all its glory.
00:47:31.220 Look at that.
00:47:32.940 And if you're a voter out in the country right now, you're swept off your feet by this.
00:47:37.620 You can't believe it.
00:47:40.220 That's it.
00:47:41.100 So take a good long look at that.
00:47:42.460 That's the Democrats' grand plan to reach out and connect with country folk.
00:47:45.840 And predictably, the media was absolutely floored by this.
00:47:49.080 They think it's the single most brilliant strategic move of the entire convention, maybe of our political lives.
00:47:56.400 Now that you can buy a camo hat on the DNC's website, there's just no way that rural voters will ever consider voting for Donald Trump.
00:48:03.040 Here's Rolling Stone to explain, quote,
00:48:05.540 The cherry on top appeared in the form of a Harris-Walls camouflage baseball hat released a few weeks ago.
00:48:11.420 It sold out instantly.
00:48:13.300 It's country artists like Jason Aldean, who appeared at the Republican National Convention and engages in the working man sport of country club golf with former President Trump, who liked to own this sort of symbolism.
00:48:23.880 His 2019 album, Nine, even contained a song called Camouflage Hat.
00:48:28.380 That's the genius work of this one small bit of Harris-Walls merch.
00:48:31.960 The hat reclaims the rural and Southern identity that mainstream Democrats have long ignored, all with the power of one nifty little cap.
00:48:40.940 Ella Emhoff proudly wore hers last night, while Walls displayed his own, also camouflage, Jason Isbell hat backstage.
00:48:48.320 Yes, selling a camo hat is a stroke of, quote, genius.
00:48:54.680 Rolling Stones thinks this is the key to winning back the hearts and minds of rural voters.
00:48:59.420 As if folks out in the country are, you know, like sitting around saying to each other,
00:49:03.940 Wow, did you see Kamala Harris's stepdaughter with that camo hat?
00:49:08.420 She totally gets us.
00:49:09.920 We should vote for her.
00:49:10.760 Now, it's tempting to think that this is, you know, this is an insult of some kind or some kind of in-joke.
00:49:19.460 But, again, Democrats need royal voters to win the White House.
00:49:24.060 They can't really afford to antagonize them, you know, just flagrantly.
00:49:28.400 So it stands to reason that this is indeed the kind of thing that they believe that these kind of voters will love.
00:49:35.780 That's why the corporate press is trying to sell this message so desperately.
00:49:38.820 This is how superficial Democrats have become as a party.
00:49:42.380 This is what end-stage identity politics looks like.
00:49:46.760 Now, to be fair, as Rolling Stone eagerly pointed out, the hat was accompanied by some other ways to appeal to these voters.
00:49:53.040 And in this case, it was a couple of singers who opened the DNC, Jason Isbell and Mickey Guyton.
00:49:59.940 Quoting from Rolling Stone,
00:50:00.740 It's hard not to feel like this is a new understanding from the DNC.
00:50:04.440 That liberals aren't just listening to streaming pop hits.
00:50:07.100 And that Southern folks, Appalachian residents and small-town people in general who listen to country and roots music often believe in things like basic human rights, too.
00:50:16.040 It seems like the Democrats are intent on further filling that messaging gap when it came to the musical choices of Guyton and Isbell.
00:50:22.120 Well, there's a significance to picking these two.
00:50:26.220 Yes, rural voters love Jason Isbell and Mickey Guyton, as we all know.
00:50:31.100 In particular, these voters are notoriously fond of Isbell's song, White Man's World, which includes this line.
00:50:36.620 Of course, when they're not rocking out to that land acknowledgment posing as a song,
00:50:52.940 rural voters are enjoying Mickey Guyton's song, Black Like Me, which features lines like this one.
00:50:58.600 If you think we live in the land of the free, you should try to be black like me.
00:51:02.140 Now, to Democrats, these songs and a camo hat are all you need to lock up this vote.
00:51:09.620 Rural voters love to be lectured about how racist they are while they're wearing their camo hat.
00:51:14.860 This is unironically what the Kamala Harris campaign believes.
00:51:19.660 As Rolling Stone put it, quote,
00:51:21.400 somehow it's the Democrats who are the ones pushing beyond stereotype and finally getting it.
00:51:27.480 Now, as with everything else from these people, it's just total projection.
00:51:31.040 From its inception, Kamala Harris' campaign has advanced one stereotype about these voters after another.
00:51:40.420 And that has continued through the DNC.
00:51:42.640 Last night in a 17-minute speech, Tim Walz managed to once again attack J.D. Vance for attending Yale.
00:51:49.560 Because apparently that's something that, I don't know, small-town voters are incapable of doing.
00:51:56.660 And this is an attack line that we've heard again and again from Tim Walz in particular.
00:52:01.740 Listen to this.
00:52:03.680 Look, folks, in the heartland and in Nebraska and in Minnesota,
00:52:07.460 we don't need a Yale-educated philosophy major
00:52:10.900 backed by billionaire venture capitalists to tell us who we are.
00:52:14.440 We know who we are.
00:52:15.520 That angst that J.D. Vance talks about in Hillbilly Elegy,
00:52:22.460 none of my Hillbilly cousins went to Yale,
00:52:24.660 and none of them went on to be venture capitalists or whatever.
00:52:29.180 It's not who people really are.
00:52:31.340 I had 24 kids in my high school class, and none of them went to Yale.
00:52:37.300 Okay, so going to Ivy League is bad now.
00:52:42.000 Just make sure to fill that in.
00:52:43.400 That's the latest update.
00:52:45.080 That's the latest update to the Democrat programming,
00:52:47.540 is that suddenly going to Ivy League is bad.
00:52:50.620 It means you're out of touch.
00:52:53.740 You know, I mean, I'll take that deal.
00:52:57.320 Fine.
00:52:57.780 Okay.
00:52:58.840 If we were going to apply it across the board, which, of course, we're not.
00:53:01.420 So Tim Walls, who joined a Harvard-affiliated teaching program during one of his dozens of trips to China,
00:53:08.300 because, you know, that's something that folks out in the country are.
00:53:10.940 They're taking trips to China all the time.
00:53:14.160 Go to the heartland.
00:53:15.900 Talk to a small town in the heartland and ask the people there about how many trips to China have they taken.
00:53:23.580 And they'll all say, like, at least 10.
00:53:29.540 But anyway, this is the guy who's attacking J.D. Vance for growing up poor,
00:53:33.040 then working his way into a competitive school and getting a well-paying job.
00:53:38.060 That's an attack line now.
00:53:41.620 This guy started out poor and then became successful.
00:53:45.840 What's up with that, folks?
00:53:48.160 You know, the folks that I know back home, none of them, they would never dream of being successful.
00:53:53.580 Because that's not something that rural voters are supposed to do, according to the Kamala Harris campaign.
00:53:58.640 They're supposed to put on their camo hats and listen to music about how they're white supremacists instead.
00:54:04.600 This is apparently Democrats' plan for winning the votes of millions of these voters all across the country,
00:54:10.480 including critical swing states.
00:54:12.200 According to our bettors in the media, this strategy is what genius looks like.
00:54:17.200 But in reality, it's the inevitable result of identity politics brain rots.
00:54:21.480 It's the result of leftists coming to really believe that everyone is as superficial and patronizing as they are.
00:54:28.940 And I think there's a very good chance that it will backfire in November.
00:54:34.240 And until then, Kamala Harris' plan to lock up the rural vote with a camo hat,
00:54:39.600 and everybody in the media who thinks that this hat is somehow a stroke of genius,
00:54:43.480 are all today canceled.
00:54:46.300 That'll do it for the show today.
00:54:47.100 Thanks for watching.
00:54:47.620 Thanks for listening.
00:54:48.240 Talk to you tomorrow.
00:54:49.160 Have a great day.
00:54:50.180 Godspeed.
00:54:57.640 Republicans are Nazis.
00:54:59.200 You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people.
00:55:02.820 Growing up, I never thought much about race.
00:55:04.740 It never really seemed to matter that much.
00:55:06.580 At least not to me.
00:55:07.380 Am I racist?
00:55:08.580 I would really appreciate it if you love...
00:55:09.860 I'm trying to learn.
00:55:10.580 I'm on this journey.
00:55:11.840 If I'm going to sort this out, I need to go deeper undercover.
00:55:16.080 They don't say I'm racist.
00:55:17.400 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.
00:55:21.080 Here with my certifications.
00:55:22.200 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.
00:55:24.940 This is more for you than this for you.
00:55:25.920 Is America inherently racist?
00:55:27.480 The word inherent is challenging there.
00:55:29.460 I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.
00:55:32.580 America is racist to its bones.
00:55:34.460 So inherently.
00:55:35.320 Yeah.
00:55:35.740 This country is a piece of...
00:55:36.860 White folks.
00:55:39.460 White trash.
00:55:39.980 White supremacy.
00:55:40.760 White woman.
00:55:41.340 White boy.
00:55:41.860 Is there a black person around here?
00:55:43.160 What's a black person right here?
00:55:44.480 Does he not exist?
00:55:47.080 Hi, Robin.
