The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1434 - Left-Wing Elites Laugh as Illegal Gangs Terrorize American Neighborhoods

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, armed gangs of illegal immigrants are descending on the country 1.00

00:00:03.700 as we plunge further into crime and chaos due to our uncontrolled border. Also, Kamala Harris

00:00:08.240 finally emerges from hiding to do her first interview since becoming the nominee, and it

00:00:12.780 does not go well. And Trump is being relentlessly attacked for an alleged photo op at Arlington

00:00:17.160 National Cemetery. Is this just the latest anti-Trump hoax? Of course it is. We'll talk

00:00:21.120 about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:01:04.240 fight the left and build the future. Five years ago, a 47-year-old man from Senegal hijacked a

00:01:10.300 school bus full of children just outside Milan, the business capital of Italy. He ordered the

00:01:15.240 teachers and a janitor to restrain all the children with zip ties, and his motive was clear. The man

00:01:19.420 threatened to carry out a massacre to avenge all of the illegal migrants who drowned on their way to

00:01:24.540 Europe. Essentially, he wanted open borders, and he was threatening to commit mass murder to get it.

00:01:28.700 And he seemed intent on making good on that promise. During a 40-minute rampage,

00:01:33.200 the man rammed the school bus into several cars on a highway before lighting the bus on fire. Now,

00:01:37.520 at that point, the 51 children on board managed to escape, thanks in part to the adults who didn't

00:01:42.080 actually secure the zip ties on any of the students. But this 2019 school bus hijacking

00:01:47.180 changed the trajectory of Italy's politics overnight, and you could see why. People will buy into

00:01:52.900 a lot of very bad policies in the name of tolerance and acceptance and all of that nonsense. But when a

00:01:59.320 guy from Senegal hijacks a school bus full of children and tries to light them on fire, it's 1.00

00:02:04.160 pretty clear that a red line has been crossed. That's an unmistakable sign that things need to

00:02:09.540 change. And voters in Italy responded accordingly. It's one of the reasons that Maloney was elected

00:02:14.960 prime minister in 2022 on a platform calling for a naval blockade to keep illegal migrants out of the

00:02:20.740 country. Now, on Wednesday, this country here in the United States came very close to experiencing a

00:02:27.280 similar incident in the state of California, which long ago adopted European-style migration policies.

00:02:32.940 On two separate occasions, groups of illegal migrants attempted to board a school bus on the

00:02:38.280 highway near the Mexican border in the Jamal-Dolzora Union School District. In the first instance,

00:02:44.320 three men stood in the middle of the highway, apparently attempting to force the school bus to stop.

00:02:48.460 In the second instance, a group of about 20 illegal migrants were waiting on another route for another

00:02:53.860 bus. It's not clear if the same illegal aliens were involved in both of these incidents, but this is what

00:02:58.740 happened. Watch.

00:03:00.440 A group of migrants tried to board a school bus this morning while it was traveling to a school.

00:03:05.500 The superintendent for the Jamal-Dolzora Union School District informed parents of that incident earlier

00:03:10.720 today. It happened at one of the stops on the school district's bus route that heads to Oak Grove

00:03:16.300 Middle School and Jamal Primary. Meanwhile, yesterday afternoon, in a similar area along another route,

00:03:21.960 the superintendent says that a group of migrants tried to stop another bus. Border Patrol, CHP,

00:03:27.400 and the sheriff's office have now been informed of these incidents. The superintendent says that for

00:03:32.220 the safety of everyone, if a driver sees a group of migrants at a bus stop, they will drive past 1.00

00:03:37.820 it on and move on to the next.

00:03:42.480 So the plan is apparently just like leave the kids at the bus stop next time if they're there with

00:03:47.980 migrants. What else can you possibly do? Surely you can't have the police round up and arrest this 1.00

00:03:52.880 group of people who are in this country illegally terrorizing children and threatening to hijack buses.

00:03:58.780 I mean, that would just be unthinkable, intolerant even. So instead, the children can just fend for

00:04:05.740 themselves. The school bus will get out of Dodge like the last chopper out of Hanoi. Meanwhile,

00:04:12.040 the sheriff's office in San Diego says that they're investigating to determine if a criminal act has

00:04:17.280 occurred. So they're not quite sure if standing in the middle of the road in a country where you're not

00:04:24.720 legally allowed to be and threatening to hijack a school bus. He's not sure if those are really

00:04:30.740 crimes. Maybe bus hijacking has been decriminalized also in California. They're still looking into it,

00:04:37.640 I guess. Now, this is one of those moments where an abstract policy debate suddenly becomes a lot

00:04:43.260 less abstract. It's one thing to talk about how no person is illegal and so on, but it's quite

00:04:49.980 another to tolerate something like this. And there are very clear signs that Americans like Italians 0.99

00:04:56.240 are tired of tolerating it, very tired. Earlier this year, Axios reported on a poll showing that,

00:05:02.340 quote, half of Americans, including 42% of Democrats, say they would support mass deportations

00:05:07.680 of undocumented immigrants. Additionally, quote, two-thirds of Americans said illegal immigration is

00:05:12.500 a real crisis, not a politically driven media narrative. So as more people see the unavoidable

00:05:18.840 consequences of mass migration in their everyday lives, support for mass deportations is only going

00:05:24.620 to increase even further. The reality of unrestricted illegal immigration is that everyday events suddenly

00:05:32.120 become a lot more dangerous all over the place, to the point that the policy itself becomes completely

00:05:39.280 untenable. That's why it's not just Californians who can't escape these consequences anymore. 0.89

00:05:44.020 In Aurora, Colorado, an apartment complex has reportedly been taken over by Venezuelan street 1.00

00:05:50.220 gangs. Surveillance footage shows gunmen with rifles walking around the apartment complex with

00:05:56.580 impunity. There's trash everywhere. Residents report that a bunch of illegal aliens moved in

00:06:02.700 recently, and this is what's happening, and crime and shootings are now commonplace. Watch.

00:06:09.140 So, this is an apartment complex in the state of Colorado. It's not actually in Venezuela,

00:06:36.020 despite what it may appear to be the case. Now, several police departments in Colorado have

00:06:41.700 responded to this footage. For their part, Aurora PD say that they are aware that components,

00:06:48.080 quote, unquote, of this Venezuelan gang known as TDA are operating in the area. The police department

00:06:54.200 also says that it's been increasingly collecting evidence to show the gang is connected to crimes in

00:06:58.760 the area, although they claim that these crimes are isolated, whatever that means. But here's the most

00:07:03.980 incredible part of the statement. Listen to this. Quote, the city and Aurora Police Department,

00:07:09.500 as previously stated, established a special task force in collaboration with other local,

00:07:13.660 state, and federal partners to specifically address concerns about Venezuelan gang Tren de

00:07:17.820 Argua and other criminal activity affecting migrant communities. So, they say that the gang is

00:07:25.720 committing criminal activity affecting migrant communities. But obviously, it's not just affecting the

00:07:32.840 migrant communities. It's affecting, more importantly, the millions of American citizens who pay taxes

00:07:38.460 in Colorado. It's affecting American communities. People in the Aurora Police Department are supposedly

00:07:44.700 sworn to protect. But they don't even get a mention in the police department statement.

00:07:50.460 Even when they're talking about the takeover of an apartment building by illegal aliens, 0.94

00:07:54.120 the police are still primarily concerned with the illegal aliens. Meanwhile, Denver PD released its own

00:08:01.120 statement. They actually do mention the residents of their community and not just the migrants. So,

00:08:06.580 that's something. They also denied that an apartment was taken over, despite the video evidence to the

00:08:11.280 contrary. That assessment would also contradict the conclusion of Aurora's mayor, who just said on

00:08:17.340 national television that multiple buildings have fallen to Venezuelan gangs. And it's also possible they

00:08:23.820 were funded by the U.S. government. Watch.

00:08:25.360 Mayor of Aurora, Colorado. Mayor, thank you very much for coming on with us. It seems it's tough to even

00:08:31.820 get some confirmation of the details of what is going on there. First off, can you confirm whether

00:08:37.280 or not this gang has taken over these buildings there in Aurora? So, there are several buildings,

00:08:43.680 actually under the same ownership, out-of-state ownership, that have fallen to these Venezuelan

00:08:49.560 gangs. I'm trying to walk it back and do the investigation as to how there's a concentration

00:08:57.620 of Venezuelans in these three buildings. Somebody put them there and somebody funded it. Whether

00:09:06.480 it's federal government or not, we're trying to find out who. So, this would seem like something

00:09:11.820 that the Denver Police Department should know about. But to be fair, they admitted that the

00:09:17.160 Venezuelan gang is committing a lot of crimes and they're, quote, learning about all of it.

00:09:22.600 They're still, you know, they're looking into it. And there's a lot of that kind of learning going

00:09:27.200 on right now in Colorado, one way or another. This week, for example, the residents of Colorado

00:09:31.060 learned that illegal immigrants can legally drive big rigs on the road and kill American citizens 1.00

00:09:38.160 while driving recklessly and then get off with a maximum sentence of one year in prison.

00:09:42.180 That's what's happening right now in the case of Ignacio Cruz Mendoza, an illegal alien without a

00:09:48.420 valid commercial driver's license, who crashed his 18-wheeler into a car being driven by Scott

00:09:53.340 Miller. Watch. Hold these people accountable for their actions. After losing her husband less than

00:09:59.260 three months ago, Deanne will walk into a courtroom on Friday to tell a judge why the man who crashed

00:10:04.940 into her husband deserves the maximum sentence. A sentence she feels is far too short. Mad because

00:10:12.100 the least, the most he, this man could get is a year for murdering my husband because the DA

00:10:18.620 refused to, to charge him with more charges. So how short is a one year sentence? Earlier this

00:10:28.380 year, a truck driver in Weld County was sentenced to 16 years for a deadly crash on I-25. A couple

00:10:34.380 years back, the same district attorney's office in Jefferson County who prosecuted the truck driver

00:10:38.860 who killed four people on I-70. That driver got 110 year sentence before the governor stepped in to

00:10:45.080 reduce it. Deanne still trying to wrap her mind around why more charges weren't filed before this

00:10:50.960 driver had the opportunity to plead guilty. So it's obviously infuriating and outrageous, but I don't

00:10:57.600 know, allegedly the Democrat DA's office just made an innocent little mistake here. Apparently it's their

00:11:02.040 first day on the job. They didn't realize that by charging this illegal alien with misdemeanors and

00:11:07.640 nothing else, that he could then plead guilty to those misdemeanors and then double jeopardy kicks

00:11:13.520 in and they can't charge him anymore. This was all supposedly totally unforeseeable to the DA. That's the

00:11:19.400 excuse. Now, in order to believe that, you'd have to know nothing about the leadership of the state of

00:11:25.020 Colorado, which goes out of its way to mock concerns about illegal alien crime. In response to the

00:11:31.620 apartment takeover that I mentioned earlier, for example, the state's governor, Jared Polis,

00:11:36.240 put out a snarky statement mocking Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jerinsky, who initially

00:11:41.180 complained about the incident. Polis' office said, quote, the purported invasion is largely a feature

00:11:46.280 of Danielle Jerinsky's imagination. Even though it's on tape, we can see it. And he also said that crime

00:11:52.260 has been going down, etc. and so forth. This is the extent of the response that voters in left-wing

00:11:57.680 states can expect when they object to the systematic destruction of their communities and their way of

00:12:03.580 life. The more they complain about school bus hijackings and apartment takeovers and highway

00:12:09.240 crashes, the more their leaders will just laugh at them. And there's precedence for this. It's what

00:12:15.060 happened in Italy, among many other European nations. And if that precedent is any indication,

00:12:20.140 it means that we are getting very close to the point at which people have had enough in this

00:12:24.780 country. And when that point comes, none of these people will be in power anymore. They'll be replaced

00:12:30.600 with leaders who, like Maloney, will promise to end unrestricted migration. And hopefully,

00:12:34.980 unlike Maloney, the people we elect will actually fulfill that promise. Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:12:41.300 Anybody with a basic understanding of economics can see that the economy is in pretty bad shape right

00:12:51.480 now. I'm not saying the sky is falling, but would you jump out of a plane without a parachute?

00:12:55.860 Probably not. Well, consider this your economic parachute warning. I've been telling you for years

00:13:00.360 to diversify your portfolio with precious metals. If you haven't yet, now's the time. Birch Gold makes

00:13:05.080 it easy to convert your IRA or 401k into a precious metals IRA. It's a smart way to protect your hard

00:13:11.280 earned savings from the impending economic disaster. But hey, if protecting your financial future isn't

00:13:15.500 motivation enough, how about this? Back by popular demand, now through the end of the month, you can

00:13:56.480 So last night was the big interview, the big day, the big moment on CNN. Kamala Harris finally

00:14:01.240 emerged from hiding with her emotional support dog, her golden retriever, Tim Walls, and they

00:14:07.520 sat down for an interview. It's the first time she's answered any questions since wrestling the

00:14:11.580 nomination away from the cucumber who is technically still president right now. And as expected, the

00:14:17.540 interview did not go well. It didn't go well and it kind of proved why she hadn't done any interviews

00:14:23.100 until that point. And it also proves why strategically they should have just stayed the course and not done

00:14:30.000 any interviews. I mean, she could have gotten away, probably gotten away with not just not doing any

00:14:34.200 interviews until the election. She could have gotten away with it. And, and it was a tactical mistake

00:14:41.160 to, to sit down for this interview because the moment she sits down and starts speaking off cuff, 0.93

00:14:49.280 off the cuff, it's just this, this, the, the hype bubble that has been surrounding her for the last

00:14:56.480 month is, is punctured. And that's what we saw. So let's, we'll start with this clip. This is the

00:15:03.360 one that's probably gotten the most attention. And here she's asked by the anchor Dana Bash about all

00:15:09.820 of the flip-flopping that she's done. And here is her excuse. How should voters look at some of the

00:15:18.800 changes that you've made that you've explained some of here in your policy? Is it because you have

00:15:25.780 more experience now and you've learned more about the information? Is it because you were running

00:15:31.000 for president in a democratic primary? And should they feel comfortable and confident that what

00:15:36.920 you're saying now is going to be your policy moving forward? Dana, I think the, the, the most important

00:15:43.040 and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed.

00:15:49.660 You mentioned the green new deal. I have always believed, and I've worked on it, that the climate

00:15:57.440 crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding

00:16:04.040 ourselves to deadlines around time. We did that with the inflation reduction act. We have set goals for

00:16:12.260 the United States of America and by extension, the globe around when we should meet certain standards

00:16:17.720 for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. As an example, that value has not changed.

00:16:23.240 Okay. So let's review all the problems with this, or at least some of the major ones. First of all,

00:16:27.400 Dana Bash gives her the, gives her the question with multiple choice answers. So she asks her about

00:16:36.700 the flip-flopping and then feeds her a couple of possible answers that she might give. And one of them

00:16:42.040 is, oh, is it, is it just that you've learned more in your, and your, so your policy, you know,

00:16:46.720 as you've grown and learned, you've changed your opinion. And that's, you know, that's about as good

00:16:52.980 an excuse for flip-flopping as you're going to get. And so Kamala Harris could have said, well, yes,

00:16:58.620 yeah, it's exactly that. You're, you're a hundred percent right. That's it. Listen, I've, I've,

00:17:03.060 I've learned, I've grown. I've, as I've gotten more information, I've changed just, just like anyone,

00:17:07.920 I've changed my view as I've gotten more information. She should, she could have said that,

00:17:11.560 but, but she doesn't. Instead, Kamala doesn't take the hint, does not accept the gift that's 0.96

00:17:16.080 been given to her. And she goes off on a ramble about how her values haven't changed. She won't

00:17:20.760 deny that her policies have changed. She says her values haven't. So, well then, then if your values

00:17:25.420 haven't, then why, why have your policies changed? Are you admitting to being, being an opportunist

00:17:30.580 and a hypocrite? Uh, is it, is it like, isn't it better? It's one thing if you're, if your policies 0.99

00:17:39.880 have changed in the same direction, right? Maybe you, you were, you were liberal and they've become

00:17:46.660 more liberal. Well, then you can say, well, my values haven't changed. But when the policies flip,

00:17:51.860 when it's the opposite of what it was before, and yet your values are exactly the same, well,

00:17:57.580 all that tells us what you're admitting is that either before or now you're full of it. You're,

00:18:02.320 you're being an opportunist. You're being a hypocrite. Then she goes off on the climate crisis. 1.00

00:18:06.640 She says, and I quote, I wrote this down. She says, it's an urgent matter to which we should

00:18:12.040 apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time. So this is more patented

00:18:17.360 Kamala word salad. As always, she continues to speak like an eighth grader writing a book report

00:18:23.740 and stretching to hit the word limit. You know, that it's, it's, you got to get to two pages and,

00:18:28.760 and you're at a one and two thirds of a page. And so you just got to keep,

00:18:33.120 it's too late to go back and use a bigger font or whatever. So, um, so, uh, deadlines around time.

00:18:42.480 She says, these are deadlines around. What else would the deadlines refer to? It's a deadline.

00:18:47.860 It has to do with time. Of course, you don't have to, we don't need you to specify that.

00:18:52.420 What else would the deadlines be? Would they be deadlines around what color, shape, smell? Yes,

00:19:00.060 it's around time. You don't need to specify that. We know that Kamala, but she just adds more words

00:19:05.540 into her answer. It keeps padding out the answer with words and more words and not even like colorful

00:19:10.400 or interesting or descriptive words, just, just words so that she can talk without saying anything.

00:19:15.640 And then to top it all off, she proceeds to admit, and again, she didn't need to, this was,

00:19:20.760 she wasn't backed into a corner. She didn't need to say this, but she proceeds to admit that the

00:19:24.100 Inflation Reduction Act was actually a Trojan horse to push through her climate agenda. 1.00

00:19:29.680 Um, talk about an unforced error. Now, anyone who's perceptive enough already knew that,

00:19:35.100 but she didn't need to volunteer that information. Uh, and yet she did because she's just very bad at, 1.00

00:19:40.820 at this. Um, then she was asked about flip flopping again, this time around, uh, the issue

00:19:47.200 of fracking. Listen, I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not ban fracking

00:19:54.220 as vice president. I did not ban fracking as president. I will not ban fracking

00:19:58.760 in 2019. I believe, uh, at a town hall, you said you were asked, would you commit to implementing a

00:20:06.440 federal ban on fracking on your first day in office? And you said, there's no question I'm

00:20:09.860 in favor of banning fracking. So yes. So it changed in the, in that campaign in 2020. I made very clear

00:20:17.240 where I stand. We are in 2024 and I've not changed that position or will I going forward. I kept my

00:20:22.380 word and I will keep my word. What made you change that position at the time? Well, let's be clear.

00:20:29.000 My values have not changed. I believe it is very important that we take seriously what we must do

00:20:35.700 to guard against what is a clear crisis in terms of the climate. And to do that, we can do what we

00:20:44.880 have accomplished thus far. The inflation reduction act, what we have done to invest by my calculation

00:20:49.840 over probably a trillion dollars over the next 10 years, investing in a clean energy economy,

00:20:55.740 what we've already done, creating over 300,000 new clean energy jobs. That tells me.

00:21:02.400 So apparently her advisors gave her this, my values have not changed line. So they went into

00:21:08.700 it. They knew, they knew she was gonna be asked about the flip-flopping because she's changed her

00:21:11.520 views on literally everything. Um, and, uh, the only thing she's been consistent on is killing

00:21:17.580 babies. That's the only issue that she's been consistent. She has been consistently in favor 0.96

00:21:20.900 of that. So, uh, you know, we'll, we'll, we'll give her that. She's been consistent on that issue.

00:21:25.040 She's always cared deeply about killing babies. She wants to kill as many as she can, but, 1.00

00:21:28.060 um, everything else has changed every other single thing. And, and so they knew this going in, 0.97

00:21:33.540 obviously, and her advisors gave her, uh, my values have not changed. She keeps repeating it.

00:21:37.780 And that's the one thing. If you give Kamala a line and she, and it plays well, or she thinks

00:21:43.120 it plays well, she will repeat it over and over and over again, even in the same conversation.

00:21:49.000 And, uh, even though it's not, it's not a good line, it's, I mean, it's not hard to come up with 0.68

00:21:54.360 some good lines to kind of distract from the fact that you're a flip-flopping phony. That's not a good

00:21:59.860 one. That's a bad one. And yet that's what they decided to have her do. And then she goes off on the 1.00

00:22:03.940 climate again. And again, just quoting her, I believe it is very important that we take seriously

00:22:09.440 what we must do to guard against what is a clear crisis in terms of the climate. What? Who speaks

00:22:16.200 like that? That this is not human language. People don't talk like that. What you're trying to say,

00:22:22.540 Kamala, is that we should take the climate crisis seriously. Now, nevermind that there is no climate

00:22:27.440 crisis, but, um, that's what you're trying to say. You're trying to say we should take the climate

00:22:32.460 crisis seriously. So just say that, just say those words. That's it's easy to say that.

00:22:38.360 Why are you adding 14 extra words that are not needed? Um, and, uh, and then there was a,

00:22:46.720 also the, we'll play one more from Kamala. She was asked, uh, uh, about her failure on the border

00:22:53.160 and she tried to blame Trump for it. Let's hear that.

00:22:56.640 As vice president, you were tasked with addressing the root causes of migration, uh, in Southern

00:23:04.400 countries and Northern part of Central America, Northern part of, uh, of, uh, of Central America

00:23:10.940 that deals with that affects the Southern border of the U S during the Biden Harris administration,

00:23:16.540 there were record numbers of illegal border crossings. Why did the Biden Harris administration

00:23:22.060 wait three and a half years to implement sweeping asylum restrictions? Well, first of all, uh,

00:23:27.920 the root causes work that I did as vice president that I was asked to do by the president has

00:23:33.480 actually resulted in a number of benefits, including historic investments by American businesses

00:23:39.540 in that region. Um, the number of, uh, immigrants coming from that region has actually reduced,

00:23:45.440 um, since we began that work. But I will say this, that Joe Biden and I,

00:23:51.640 and our administration worked with members of the United States Congress on an immigration,

00:23:57.000 uh, issue that is very significant to the American people and to our security, which is the border

00:24:02.760 and through bipartisan work, including some of the most conservative members of the United States

00:24:08.900 Congress, a bill was crafted, which we supported, which I support. And Donald Trump got word of this

00:24:17.960 bill that would have contributed to securing our border. And because he believes that it would not

00:24:24.380 have helped him politically, he told his folks in Congress, don't put it forward. He killed the bill.

00:24:33.560 So Trump, who isn't even in office right now, is responsible for her own failures to secure the 0.99

00:24:37.800 border. Uh, Trump killed the bill when he's not even an elected official.

00:24:42.680 That's what she's going with. And it's just one of, of, of many really bad excuses, poor excuses,

00:24:50.820 poorly communicated. And if I had to sum up the interview, I'd sum it up that way,

00:24:54.420 but no excuse offered during this interview was worse than this one from Tim Walls.

00:25:02.280 So Tim mostly just sat there like a good puppy quietly and obediently. Um, he did bark on command a few

00:25:09.300 times when they offered him a treat and, uh, just, just watch this moment when he's, when he's,

00:25:15.260 when he is asked about the, uh, about his stolen valor, about lying about his military record.

00:25:20.360 And I mean, it's, it truly is an amazing answer. It's, it's especially given that,

00:25:27.460 keep in mind, he had to know that this question was going to be asked.

00:25:32.280 And so you'd think you'd have something ready to go. And this is what he comes up with.

00:25:39.800 I want to ask you a question about how you've described your service in the National Guard.

00:25:45.280 You said that you carried weapons in war, but you have never deployed actually in a war zone.

00:25:51.820 A campaign official said that you misspoke. Did you?

00:25:54.740 Well, first of all, I'm incredibly proud. I've done 24 years of wearing the uniform of this country,

00:26:00.820 equally proud of my service in a public school classroom, whether it's Congress or, uh, or the

00:26:04.980 governor. Uh, my record speaks for itself, but I think, uh, people are coming to get to know me.

00:26:09.780 I, I speak like they do. Um, I speak candidly. I wear my emotions on my sleeves and, uh,

00:26:15.140 I speak, uh, especially passionately about, uh, about our children being shot in schools

00:26:19.460 and around, around guns. So, uh, I think people know me. They know who I am. They know where,

00:26:24.100 uh, where my heart is. And again, my record has been out there for over 40 years to, to speak for

00:26:29.560 itself. And the, the idea that you said that you were in war, did you misspeak as the campaign has

00:26:36.040 said? Yeah, I said, we were talking about, in this case, this was after a school shooting,

00:26:39.480 the ideas of carrying these weapons of war. And, uh, my wife, the English, she told my grammar,

00:26:44.160 it's not always correct. But again, if it's not this, it's an attack on my children for showing

00:26:48.400 love for me, or it's an attack on my dog. Okay. Like it really is an incredible answer. I mean,

00:26:55.280 for two incredible answers, because first he's asked, Hey, why did you lie about your military

00:26:58.900 record? And his first answer is, well, you know, I'm opposed to children being shot.

00:27:05.240 Yeah. As are we all governor, but what the hell does that have to do with you lying about your

00:27:11.400 military record? And then his second answer is that his grammar, he has poor grammar. Oh,

00:27:17.300 shucks. You know, listen, I'm just a normal everyday guy. I wear blue jeans and sneakers.

00:27:22.100 I mow my lawn. Okay. I eat fast food. I go to Walmart. And you know, sometimes we regular old

00:27:27.460 everyday folk, we mix up our words and we use bad grammar. And sometimes our grammar is so bad that

00:27:31.780 we accidentally lie about our military record for 20 years. I'll tell you what, Donald Trump,

00:27:37.200 he's a, he's such an elitist that he's never pretended to have combat experience. That's what an elitist

00:27:41.800 is. That's what we're going with. Bad grammar. Don't you hate it when, when, when your grammar

00:27:47.700 is so bad that it causes you to, causes you to invent whole periods of your life that never

00:27:52.300 occurred? Yeah. I mean, one time I, you know, my grammar was so bad that I accidentally claimed

00:27:58.840 that I was the deposed King of Cambodia. Uh, that's how bad my grammar was one time. It was just

00:28:04.440 really, really bad grammar, really bad. Silly me. Uh, so that's, that's what they're going 0.94

00:28:10.940 with. And there is one other thing I wanted to mention. Uh, so we've talked about the content

00:28:15.800 of the, of the, the interview and such as it is, and that's it. I mean, that's, that's

00:28:19.280 what it was. And as I said, it kind of goes to show why, uh, they really shouldn't have

00:28:26.120 done. I mean, yes, they should do like from the, from a perspective of just basic integrity,

00:28:33.500 they should do interviews and talk to the American public because they want to be in

00:28:40.000 the white house. Um, but politically strategically, they should not have done it. And I think this

00:28:46.940 is maybe one of the smartest, best things that, uh, the Trump camp has done during this

00:28:54.220 election cycle, at least certainly since Kamala came on board was to bait her into doing an 1.00

00:28:59.500 interview. Um, it's really pressure. It's really entirely pressure from, that's what's

00:29:05.520 so amazing about it. There was very little pressure from the left for her to do an interview

00:29:10.160 because everybody on the left knows they didn't, they didn't want her to do it because they knew

00:29:13.720 it was going to go like this. Um, so it was all pressure from the right. You know, it was

00:29:19.700 the Trump camp. It was just, it's like people like me, just, you know, nor just conservative

00:29:23.900 people with platforms. We're all the ones saying, Hey, why didn't she out there doing interviews? 0.81

00:29:29.080 She should really, we obviously want you to do it because we know it's going to be terrible

00:29:33.620 for you. That's why we want it. I mean, look, this is, you know, and they, and they, and they

00:29:39.300 succumbed to the pressure and they put her out there and it was terrible. Um, which is great.

00:29:44.000 So that's the content of it, but there's one other thing that I've just been, I, I, it doesn't matter

00:29:51.700 that much, but I'm, um, maybe it's the media member in me. It's like, it's like the fact that

00:29:58.540 I'm in media and I'm on camera, uh, that makes me, we pulled the picture, just pull up the screenshot

00:30:04.560 of this, of the interview. So we can look at the, okay, what is going on? What, what is this?

00:30:13.300 What kind of set? Why are they, why, why are they doing, why does it look like that is my question.

00:30:19.740 That's what I want to know. What kind of set did they choose for this conversation? Because to me,

00:30:25.240 it looks, I guess you can see it kind of says cafe in the background, but just first, first

00:30:31.780 impressions when you look at it, to me, it looks like an empty airport bar at some kind of regional

00:30:37.820 airport somewhere. The, they look like depressed travelers coming home from, uh, a business

00:30:44.920 conference at a, at a Hilton somewhere in Cleveland. And it just, it's like a very weird melancholy

00:30:52.200 kind of vibe to it. And it's the lighting. Why is it so dark? Why is the lighting so dark?

00:30:59.840 Why are there empty cups in the shot who that was deliberately put there? That's not naturally

00:31:07.800 there. So they, for some reason they chose this cafe. They made it very dark. Uh, they're going

00:31:13.440 for that vibe and they looked at the shot and somebody, I don't know if it's someone at CNN

00:31:19.020 or someone in the Kamala campaign. Now there's any distinction. Someone looked at the shot and

00:31:23.980 say, you know what? Wait a second. You know what we need? We need a bunch of empty cop cups in

00:31:27.000 the background. We need about what we're, we're not, no more cups. No, not one or two. We need,

00:31:31.280 we need 10 cups, put 10 empty cups in the shot. We need all the empty cups we can get for this thing.

00:31:36.780 Okay. We need the cups. There's not more cups. We need more cups.

00:31:41.680 It doesn't make any sense. I don't get it. And they're all, why are they dressed in colors that

00:31:46.560 match the furniture? He, he is dressed in the same color as the seat. So he blends in,

00:31:52.500 looks like he doesn't have a body, just like this big lumbering head floating,

00:31:56.320 suspended in space. And then Kamala's dressed to match the table. So I was at a plan.

00:32:03.820 They said, well, we got to match the furniture. And she's also, look how short she, 1.00

00:32:08.780 why is she so small compared to the other two? She looks like she's three feet tall. 0.97

00:32:14.320 Like you get her a higher seat so that she doesn't look like a child. I mean, 0.98

00:32:20.740 it's just bizarre. I don't, I don't get it. The whole, the whole thing is weird. I don't,

00:32:26.700 that's, that's what I want to know. This, this, forget about the content of it.

00:32:30.840 I want to know why they set up a shot like that.

00:32:35.820 Cause it makes me sad actually. Like it makes me sad that these people are running for president,

00:32:39.360 but, but just the, the, the look of it, it gets, it kind of makes you sad. It has a sad kind of

00:32:43.920 feel to it. All right. This makes me sad. Also, Donald Trump yesterday was asked about amendment

00:32:50.120 four in Florida, which is a ballot measure that would not only overturn Florida's abortion 0.97

00:32:54.520 restrictions, but would in fact, enshrine into law, a right to abortion that goes all the way to birth.

00:33:01.820 It would enshrine a right to abortion through every stage of pregnancy. It is a pro-infanticide 0.99

00:33:07.560 measure, radically far left, radically pro-abortion. And Trump as a resident of Florida was asked

00:33:13.700 about it. And here's what he said. Florida, the state that you are a resident of,

00:33:20.620 there's an abortion related amendment on the ballot to overturn the six week ban in Florida.

00:33:26.020 How are you going to vote on that? Well, I think the six week is too short.

00:33:29.360 It has to be more time. And so that's, and I've told them that I want more weeks.

00:33:33.880 So you'll vote in favor of the amendment. I'm voting that I am going to be voting that we need

00:33:38.120 more than six weeks. Look, just so you understand, everybody wanted Roe v. Wade terminated for years.

00:33:44.060 52 years. I got it done. They wanted to go back to the States. Exceptions are very important for me, 0.99

00:33:50.120 for Ronald Reagan, for others that have navigated this very, very interesting and difficult path.

00:33:56.940 Okay. It's being reported that in this clip, Trump said that he would vote for the amendment.

00:34:01.760 He would vote for the right to abortion until birth. He didn't say that technically. He didn't say he'd

00:34:07.660 vote for it. He also didn't say he'd vote against it. He kind of avoided it.

00:34:12.600 And this has led to confusion and lots of anger from pro-life conservatives who, 0.82

00:34:17.340 who pro-life conservatives who are just being kicked in the shins constantly at this point.

00:34:21.900 And Trump needs to speak clearly on this. Okay. You need to be clear on this. It's,

00:34:27.120 it's not a hard question. It's not difficult. His campaign came out after this clip went viral

00:34:33.920 and clarified that Trump, Trump has not said how he would vote on the amendment. Okay, fine. He

00:34:39.480 hasn't said yet, but he should say like, why hasn't he said, why not just say I'll vote against it?

00:34:45.540 Again, this amendment would enshrine into law, the constitutional right to kill babies until birth.

00:34:53.180 It is the one of the most radically pro-abortion measures we've ever seen in this country ever.

00:35:01.600 How is it not easy to say, of course I'll vote against that.

00:35:05.600 It is the right to kill fully developed, fully viable infant children seconds before they're 1.00

00:35:14.700 born. This is radical leftism in its most extreme bloodthirsty form. Okay. And it's not hard 0.86

00:35:21.880 to communicate that. Here's all the Trump has to say. And I can't do a Trump impression. So I, but

00:35:27.240 in my own voice, here's all Trump. This is it. This is all he has to say.

00:35:31.260 He can say this. I've said repeatedly that abortion should be left to the States. As a resident of

00:35:38.180 Florida, I will be voting no on this amendment because it guarantees a right to abortion until 0.93

00:35:43.140 birth, which is radically out of step with my own values and also radically out of step with the

00:35:48.600 values of the vast majority of Americans. That's it. That's all you got to say in and out. You're done.

00:35:54.380 Okay. And, and, and, and you must say that you must say, cause it's the right thing. You know,

00:36:01.220 just as human beings, we have to be clear in our opposition to the murder of infants.

00:36:06.300 And as a conservative and a leader and a man who wants to be president again, you have to

00:36:09.640 demonstrate at least the moral clarity and wherewithal to specifically oppose a Soros

00:36:14.020 funded initiative to kill infants in the state you live in. Um, I mean, again, it's not hard and,

00:36:21.260 and it's the right thing, but also politically, politically, uh, it is smart and necessary to

00:36:29.580 oppose amendment form, especially now after giving this rather weak, convoluted, confusing answer.

00:36:36.900 It is politically essential because all that Trump is doing by dancing around it like this is

00:36:43.820 demoralizing his pro-life base. And look, you can scream at pro-lifers all you want

00:36:48.320 and demand that they still go out and vote. Uh, you know, where I stand on that I'm voting for

00:36:54.000 Trump no matter what, because the alternative is Kamala Harris. Um, and I've been very clear

00:36:58.820 about that. And we talked about just a couple of days ago, but there are political realities here.

00:37:04.820 And one of them is that if you demoralize your base, that hurts you, you lose votes. So if Trump does

00:37:12.180 not oppose amendment four again, especially now, after he gave that answer, if he does not,

00:37:19.180 all he will be accomplishing is the demoralization of his base. That's it. It will not win him a

00:37:24.300 single vote. The only people who would be happy about his refusal to denounce a Soros funded baby

00:37:31.120 murder amendment. The only people pleased by that are radical leftists who would not vote for him

00:37:37.980 if their lives depended on it. Okay. Because the only people who support this amendment,

00:37:42.700 you have to be a radical far left. The, how many people are there in the country

00:37:48.480 who both would be willing to vote for Trump and support this amendment? Are there like five people

00:37:56.000 in the entire country who would fit into that demographic? Um, the number of people that you,

00:38:03.580 on your side, demoralize and alienate is so much bigger. It's such a, it's a, it's a much larger,

00:38:09.840 uh, base of people. The only people he's making happy are the people who would not piss on him if he

00:38:20.060 was on fire. Okay. Those are the people who are in favor of this amendment. If you were on fire,

00:38:27.260 they would look at you and laugh. Okay. Those people. So again, just politically, why would you

00:38:35.540 even hesitate to, to be against something that those people are doing?

00:38:42.700 So, uh, it's just a, it's just a, uh, horrendously terrible political strategy. It just is. And, and

00:38:52.500 you, you, you, you, you're going to lose, you're going to lose the election with a strategy like

00:38:58.680 that. It really would be noted. It'd be this, it's this, it, it's as if Trump entertained the

00:39:05.480 possibility of a constitutional amendment to protect the right to trans our kids, right? It's, it's,

00:39:12.180 I mean, it's, it's that level of radical, radically far left. Um, and if he were to come out

00:39:19.400 with that position, what all you've done is just, you've, you've lost the election is all you've

00:39:23.680 done. You have not, you're not going to gain a single vote again. The only people that care about

00:39:26.700 that, you know, there are big trans rights people are people that never vote for you anyway. And so

00:39:30.980 all you're doing is just, uh, destroying enthusiasm in your own base. Um, and it's, it's a terrible,

00:39:40.640 terrible strategy. Uh, I mean, uh, and so let's, let's talk a little bit more about

00:39:47.440 what amendment for actually is because there's a lot of misinformation out there and the pro

00:39:55.940 abortion left is lying about it. Like they lie about everything. And here's what it says. I'll

00:40:00.720 read it. This is the amendment. No law shall prohibit, penalize, delay, or restrict abortion

00:40:07.780 before viability or when necessary to protect the patient's health as determined by the patient's

00:40:12.240 healthcare provider. Now, because of the way it's worded, the left is claiming that actually it only

00:40:18.800 allows abortion until quote unquote viability. That's what they're saying.

00:40:25.120 And, but that, and that would be bad enough by the way. I mean, you couldn't support that.

00:40:29.120 No way. Even if that's all, even if that was all it was doing, um, because when is viability? Well,

00:40:34.460 there's no clear answer. That's, that's the first problem. Uh, at a minimum, it makes abortion 0.98

00:40:38.800 until 20 weeks, 21, 22 weeks into a basic human right now. And, um, that would be more than enough

00:40:46.880 reason to oppose it. Especially if you, if you, you know, if you claim to be pro-life and you say

00:40:51.960 it's a state's rights issue. Okay. Now I don't think it is a state's rights issue. I think that it,

00:40:58.700 that it is a federal issue because this is a human, this is about human rights and laws that legalize

00:41:03.800 abortion are depriving human rights from an entire group of people who happen to be our children.

00:41:09.840 And it's a human rights violation, therefore a constitutional issue. That's my position.

00:41:13.520 But as I said, I don't expect Trump to take that position. I know that my position on that particular

00:41:18.180 part of it is, is unpopular. And if Trump took that position, he'd probably lose. So I'm aware of

00:41:24.040 the politics of that. I don't expect that. Um, but if you go with state's rights, fine, but then you

00:41:29.900 can't turn around and oppose a pro-life state law. It's, it's, you can't, cause you're not hiding

00:41:35.720 behind. Well, it's a, it's not a federal issue. Yeah, it's, it's not, it's not federal. This is

00:41:38.920 the state. We're in the state now. Um, so even that, even if it was just that it was just up till

00:41:45.380 viability, well, you couldn't support it, but it's way worse than that. It's way worse because note the

00:41:51.500 text again, it says you can't restrict abortion before viability or, or when necessary to protect the

00:41:59.420 patient's health as determined by a healthcare provider or note the, or notice the, or it is

00:42:05.740 there for a reason or to protect the patient's health as determined by a healthcare provider.

00:42:12.640 What does that mean? Well, it means that you can have an abortion until birth for any reason. That's

00:42:20.880 what it means. Okay. Protecting the patient's health means anything. Whatever reason you have

00:42:27.820 for wanting an abortion, that counts as protecting your health.

00:42:33.800 There's a reason why they put health and not life. Have you noticed that you notice how usually

00:42:37.740 they say, well, you, the exception is abortion to protect the life of the mother. Now, even that,

00:42:43.580 uh, you never need to get an abortion to protect the life of the mother. Uh, especially if it's a 1.00

00:42:47.760 late term abortion, there's no reason, even if you have to terminate the pregnancy to save the mother's

00:42:53.020 life, which sometimes you do, uh, you can terminate the pregnancy by delivering the child, which you

00:42:58.380 have to deliver the child no matter what, one way or another. The question is whether you kill the

00:43:02.020 child first before delivering him. And there's no reason why you would ever need to do that to protect

00:43:07.680 the mother's life. But that's not even what it says. It doesn't say to protect the mother's life.

00:43:11.520 It says health. What does health mean? Health means anything, physical health, mental health,

00:43:20.580 emotional health, financial health, any kind of health. Okay. It, all you need to do is find some

00:43:30.060 healthcare provider. Notice not doctor. They're not even saying you need a doctor. They could have put

00:43:36.980 doctor in there. They didn't say doctor. They said healthcare provider, which is not the same

00:43:41.400 thing as doctor. You can get your damn podiatrist to sign off on it. I mean, really that's, that's 0.99

00:43:47.560 the way it's written. Any healthcare provider, you just need some healthcare provider to give you a

00:43:54.320 rubber stamp and say, uh, yeah, this is for your health, which of course is what, which is what will

00:44:00.400 happen. And, and, uh, because health means anything. So you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to put the

00:44:04.980 pieces together. This is very clear. It's very obvious. Uh, the amendment is written that way

00:44:10.420 with these loopholes so that any woman can get an abortion at any time for any reason. Um, and if this 1.00

00:44:18.760 thing passes, then Florida will become a Mecca for abortion. It'll become, uh, you know, you'll have 0.99

00:44:24.280 abortion tourism. Abortion rates will skyrocket by like a thousand percent in the state, um, with people

00:44:32.520 coming in from out of state to get late term abortions, to kill babies at 35 weeks. That's 1.00

00:44:39.440 what's going to happen. That's why they want this amendment. And it is, I can only reiterate for the

00:44:47.620 umpteenth time. It is so easy to say I'm against that. I don't, that's bad.

00:44:55.340 And anyone who's remotely winnable for a Republican would agree with you on that.

00:45:05.080 If they would not agree that killing babies at 35 weeks is wrong and you shouldn't do it,

00:45:09.260 if they don't agree with you on that, you can't win them anyway. Those are the people that are

00:45:13.640 totally unwinnable no matter what you do. You can fall at their feet and beg them to vote. You can say,

00:45:18.260 I'll give you everything you want. If you vote for me, they will spit on you and still vote for Kamala 0.72

00:45:24.620 Harris. Those are not winnable voters. Um, so look, I don't want any, anyone who actually wants Trump

00:45:37.540 to win, you don't have to give me a speech about how it's, how it's important that Trump wins.

00:45:42.340 You don't give me that. I give that speech all the time. If you actually think that, well,

00:45:48.220 this is political suicide and you need to be speaking out about it. And if you're not,

00:45:51.260 then you actually don't, you apparently don't care if he wins. Well, you didn't vote for this

00:45:55.660 recession, but you sure as heck pay for it at the pump, at the grocery store. And with that growing

00:46:00.880 stack of unpaid bills, if you're one of millions of Americans being crushed with financial stress

00:47:45.900 On Monday, a U.S. Army veteran named Lucas O'Hara was at Arlington Cemetery for a private

00:47:50.640 ceremony marking the third anniversary of the 2021 Kabul airport attack, which resulted in the deaths,

00:47:56.880 you may remember, of 13 members of the U.S. military. Donald Trump was at Arlington Cemetery,

00:48:01.660 too, because he had been invited by the families of the fallen soldiers. Now at one point, Trump was

00:48:07.700 photographed and videotaped walking alongside Arlington's deputy chief of staff while he was

00:48:13.040 laying a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier. Now the deputy chief of staff didn't seem to think

00:48:18.880 anything was amiss. Neither did O'Hara, who later described the ceremony this way, quote,

00:48:23.820 I've witnessed over 75 wreath-lying ceremonies performed by politicians and conducted 524 funerals

00:48:29.020 in this cemetery during the time I served in the presidential honor guard for three years.

00:48:33.560 What I got to witness yesterday was the most respectful and solemn ceremony I have seen.

00:48:37.260 There were no speeches, no angles, no weird photo ops, just our elected officials and the 45th president

00:48:41.340 respectfully and solemnly honoring the fallen and their families. Now, as you might have heard,

00:48:46.940 the corporate press has a very different spin on what happened, and it's not hard to see why

00:48:51.060 they're so upset. Any ceremony marking the deaths of the service members at Abbey Gate is inevitably

00:48:56.300 also a reminder of the Biden administration's disastrous handling of the withdrawal from

00:49:00.420 Afghanistan. What happened at Abbey Gate was obviously preventable, and Democrats don't want

00:49:05.520 to acknowledge that, especially in an election year. So instead, they're attempting to turn this

00:49:09.980 ceremony into yet another desperate attempt to smear Donald Trump. MSNBC accused Trump of staging a

00:49:14.980 bizarre and disrespectful photo op, for example. The Daily Beast and many other outlets did the same.

00:49:20.260 NPR suggested that Trump's campaign had no right to photograph the ceremony at all.

00:49:24.820 And NBC, in an especially unhinged moment, even went after the mother of one of the fallen soldiers

00:49:30.520 who invited Trump. Watch.

00:49:33.180 Former president to Arlington. Her son, Marine Staff Sergeant Taylor Hoover, died at Abbey Gate.

00:49:38.940 What would you say to people who may be pro-Trump, anti-Trump, whatever their politics might be,

00:49:43.760 who just feel like that's not a place for politicians or for politics?

00:49:48.580 I would have to say, are you in my shoes? I invited him. My son was murdered under the Biden-Harris

00:50:00.200 administration. 1.00

00:50:03.620 Wow, that guy is a total scumbag, and certainly not the only one working in media. 0.99

00:50:09.400 Anytime a journalist says, what would you say to people who might say, 1.00

00:50:13.000 you know they're about to hit you with some kind of smear. They're just too cowardly to ask the 0.97

00:50:17.400 question directly, so they attribute it to unnamed people instead. They know at some level it's 0.95

00:50:22.120 completely repulsive to ask a question this idiotic to the mother of a fallen soldier, but 1.00

00:50:26.140 they have to find a way to ask it anyway. And in this case, the smear isn't just idiotic. It's about 1.00

00:50:31.620 as hypocritical and one-sided as it could possibly be. I mean, there are about a million examples of 0.97

00:50:35.580 Democrats using photographs from Arlington Cemetery in literal campaign advertisements.

00:50:41.480 And precisely none of those incidents caused any kind of media outcry whatsoever.

00:50:45.860 So here's Joe Biden from just four years ago. Watch.

00:50:48.740 This year, Memorial Day feels a little different.

00:50:53.520 This pandemic is showing us that service and bravery and willingness to stand on the front lines

00:50:59.080 to help and protect our fellow human beings is not just the quality we find in our service members.

00:51:04.480 It's at the core of every American spirit. This Memorial Day offers each of us a chance to reflect

00:51:10.380 on the enormity of their sacrifice.

00:51:12.300 For those of you who are missing the peace of your hearts this Memorial Day, your sacrifice

00:51:20.920 will never quite end. That doesn't mean we shouldn't do our best to ease the weight

00:51:26.440 so you don't have to carry their legacies alone.

00:51:31.200 And all of us who have lost loved ones, days like this can be bittersweet.

00:51:35.620 So as to all the members of our military and our military families, especially those who've

00:51:40.660 lost their service members, thank you. We owe you. We can never lessen the magnitude of your loss.

00:51:49.080 This I can promise you. We will never forget. May God bless you all. May God protect our troops.

00:51:57.420 Okay, so in case you couldn't see the whole thing, the ad showed Joe Biden at Arlington Section 60,

00:52:02.860 which is largely reserved for fallen soldiers from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

00:52:06.440 And the photo was followed by the message, Biden for president, and a phone number to text if you want to join the campaign.

00:52:15.360 So what happened to you? That's not a place for politicians or for politics.

00:52:18.860 Why didn't NBC or any corporate media outlet have that question when that advertisement aired four years ago?

00:52:24.860 There's no chance they missed it because these kinds of ads have been constant.

00:52:28.500 They've been used in both of Biden's presidential campaigns.

00:52:31.920 Here's another one from just this summer.

00:52:33.400 He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured.

00:52:55.540 I'm not going to play the whole thing, but it ends with a Biden-Harris campaign logo.

00:52:59.480 They're using caskets of fallen soldiers and grave sites once again in a campaign ad. 0.81

00:53:04.180 And for good measure, the ad accuses Trump of calling fallen soldiers suckers,

00:53:07.280 which is a claim that's based entirely on unnamed sources that spoke to the left-wing Atlantic magazine.

00:53:11.520 Again, there was no outrage when this ad ran just a few weeks ago.

00:53:15.420 Nobody noticed or said anything about it.

00:53:17.100 And there are many more examples like this.

00:53:18.880 There are plenty of photographs of U.S. presidents at Arlington, including Barack Obama.

00:53:22.120 You can see some of the photos there.

00:53:25.200 Really standard stuff.

00:53:27.260 None of this is a scandal.

00:53:29.280 And it's obviously appropriate for political figures to pay their respects at Arlington Cemetery.

00:53:33.620 And it's not unusual for there to be photographs of that.

00:53:36.180 It's especially appropriate when the families of fallen soldiers have invited those political figures in the first place.

00:53:42.480 Everybody understood that until 15 seconds ago,

00:53:44.440 when Donald Trump made the mistake of reminding people that the Biden administration completely botched the withdrawal from Afghanistan.

00:53:49.580 There's another aspect to this manufactured scandal,

00:53:52.760 which is that someone on Trump's staff supposedly made physical contact with a staffer at the cemetery.

00:53:57.720 Apparently, one of the staffers objected to what Trump and the family members of the fallen soldiers were doing.

00:54:04.680 Quoting from an army statement, quote,

00:54:05.880 Participants in the August 26th ceremony and the subsequent Section 60 visit were made aware of federal laws,

00:54:11.200 army regulations, and DOD policies, which clearly prohibit political activities on cemetery grounds.

00:54:14.900 An ANC employee who attempted to ensure adherence to these rules was abruptly pushed aside.

00:54:20.840 This incident was unfortunate,

00:54:22.040 but also unfortunate that the ANC employee and her professionalism has been unfairly attacked.

00:54:26.600 ANC is a national shrine to the honored dead of the armed forces,

00:54:29.380 and its dedicated staff will continue to ensure public ceremonies are conducted with the dignity and respect the nation's fallen deserve.

00:54:34.860 Now, the army went on to note that the incident had been reported to the police,

00:54:38.960 which obviously comes off as an extremely disproportionate, hysterical reaction to a minor conflict like this.

00:54:44.340 But they added that no charges are going to be filed,

00:54:46.900 probably because the whole idea of reporting this incident to the police is laughable on its face.

00:54:51.520 The Pentagon then came out and said they supported the army statement.

00:54:54.840 Obviously, I wasn't at Arlington Cemetery on Monday,

00:54:57.080 so I have no idea what happened or didn't happen between a Trump staffer and a staffer at the cemetery.

00:55:02.960 Nor do I especially care.

00:55:04.760 What I can say is that the tone of the statement is remarkable.

00:55:07.780 The army appears to be extremely outraged that the, quote,

00:55:10.820 professionalism of somebody working at the cemetery was, quote, unfairly attacked.

00:55:15.440 They won't stand for that, even though it appears, from the vast amounts of precedent we have,

00:55:19.240 that the staffer was completely wrong to begin with.

00:55:23.560 But the really interesting thing is that the Pentagon never demonstrated anywhere near this much consternation

00:55:27.520 when their incompetence allowed a suicide bomber to kill the 13 members of the U.S. military

00:55:32.060 that Donald Trump was honoring on Monday.

00:55:34.100 I don't recall the Pentagon approving statements condemning their own handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal.

00:55:39.680 In fact, I recall the opposite.

00:55:41.760 I recall the military decided to retaliate by accidentally blowing up the car of a random Afghan aid worker.

00:55:47.200 And then they lied and said that there were no civilian casualties when, in fact,

00:55:50.380 they killed nine members of his family.

00:55:53.320 And even then, nobody in the Pentagon was publicly dressed down for that.

00:55:56.620 The army reserves, I guess, those kinds of snarky, hostile statements for the Trump campaign and only the Trump campaign.

00:56:04.940 This kind of response only makes sense when you realize the Democrat Party and the leadership of the Pentagon

00:56:09.540 want us to forget what happened in Afghanistan three years ago.

00:56:13.960 They're so desperate that they're willing to badger the family members of those fallen service members

00:56:18.200 and call the police on the Trump campaign.

00:56:20.780 I mean, they'd rather we talk about all of this manufactured drama instead of the 13 service members who died

00:56:27.320 and how they died.

00:56:29.740 And that is why NBC News and every other outlet that's debasing itself to smear Donald Trump

00:56:34.820 for participating in that memorial at Arlington Cemetery are all today canceled.

00:56:41.020 That'll do it for the show today and this week.

00:56:42.660 Talk to you on Monday.
