00:01:08.020 The basic idea of the book is that the enemies of the Catholic Church spent several millennia
00:01:12.560 trying to destroy the church from the outside before they settled on a much more effective plan, infiltration.
00:01:18.140 They would try to work their way into the church and subvert its mission from inside.
00:01:23.620 And we've seen this happening in front of our eyes, not just in the church, but in many other Catholic institutions.

00:01:30.060 If you walk onto the campus of pretty much any allegedly Catholic university today, for example,
00:01:36.060 what you'll find is unrecognizable from just a few decades ago.

00:01:43.060 In the wake of the Dobbs Supreme Court decision overturning the pro-abortion rights Roe v. Wade ruling,
00:01:49.480 several bodies at the University of Notre Dame are hosting an event series dedicated to reproductive justice.
00:01:55.760 The series has attracted criticism for its decidedly pro-abortion slant.
00:01:59.760 An abortion doula with a tattoo of abortion equipment is one of the speakers at its next event.
00:02:05.080 The article notes that the series was sponsored by the University of Notre Dame's Gender Studies Program,
00:02:10.940 which apparently exists for some reason.
00:02:13.440 And evidently the Catholic perspective on abortion, actual Catholic teaching on the subject, that is,
00:02:19.240 was not even presented at these events.
00:02:21.480 They didn't even try to grapple with it, even though that's supposedly university policy.
00:02:25.940 Catholic teaching is supposed to be the fundamental guiding principle of a Catholic university, obviously.
00:02:31.120 Pretty much all the major Catholic universities are like this now,
00:02:35.520 from Georgetown to Villanova to everything in between.
00:02:38.740 There's been a lot of coverage of what's happened at these schools,
00:02:42.060 so there's no need to belabor the point.
00:02:44.500 What hasn't been covered to anywhere near the same degree
00:02:46.660 is the extent to which left-wing radicalism has infiltrated Christian churches of all types

00:02:55.760 So this is a clip from a year ago that's just starting to get attention now.
00:03:00.080 It's from someone claiming to be a pastor at something called the Church of Reconciliation,
00:03:05.740 part of the Presbyterian Church USA, named Rebecca Todd Peters.
00:03:09.920 She's also a professor of religious studies at Elon University in North Carolina.
00:03:14.240 And once again, as she's speaking, the topic of abortion doulas comes up.

00:03:19.980 If Jesus were here today, he would be a clinic escort distracting women from the hatred of the protesters
00:03:30.360 or an abortion doula holding women's hands and offering support and love as they end their pregnancies.
00:03:38.640 And I expect he would have a stern word for self-righteous legislators who use abortion as a political issue
00:03:47.220 rather than showing compassion for the people seeking abortions.
00:03:51.880 Today, on this Rose Sunday, I wanted to share some of the stories we have collected
00:03:58.840 because these are the sacred stories of women's lives.
00:04:05.780 If Jesus were giving his sermon today, he might also have said,
00:04:11.980 Blessed are those who end pregnancies, for they will be known for their loving kindness.
00:04:19.860 I have been pregnant four times.
00:04:24.500 I have had two abortions, and I have two amazing children.
00:04:29.100 Each of my reproductive decisions, to have children and not to have children, were sacred decisions
00:04:37.340 because they reflect the moral responsibility of reproductive power that is part of our inheritance as human creatures.
00:04:46.020 Each of you has a reproductive story.
00:04:51.100 And given that one quarter of American women will have an abortion by the age of 45,
00:04:56.020 I imagine some of your reproductive journeys also include abortion.
00:05:03.040 Blessed are those who end pregnancies, for they will be known for their loving kindness.
00:05:11.640 Reimagining our theological understanding of abortion is essential to addressing the violence
00:05:19.820 that is being done to people across the country in the name of Christianity.
00:05:25.320 In the face of the rampant reproductive injustice in our society,
00:05:31.240 what does God require of us?

00:05:37.500 Now, on one level, it's no surprise to hear abject heresy from a female pastor.
00:05:44.120 The existence of female pastors is already a heresy.
00:05:48.020 Scripture is very clear on that point.
00:05:50.880 St. Paul stated it explicitly throughout his letters, and he wasn't exactly gentle or subtle about it.
00:05:56.380 In 1 Corinthians chapter 14, he tells women to keep silent, quote unquote, in the church.
00:06:02.280 And this is a theme that he returns to in other letters, which means that a church with a female pastor
00:06:07.340 must, at the outset, eject St. Paul from the biblical canon entirely.
00:06:12.620 You cannot keep both Paul and your female pastor.
00:06:16.580 And that is to say you cannot keep the Bible, because once you start stripping the parts out of it
00:06:21.380 that you don't like, what you're left with at the end of that process is not the Bible.
00:06:25.560 It's some butchered husk of what was once the Bible.
00:06:27.920 It is the gospel according to you.
00:06:29.680 It is a religion that you have invented for yourself.
00:06:33.480 Now, we should note, by the way, that St. Paul is not the only reference point on this issue.
00:06:37.980 Jesus Christ himself chose 12 apostles.
00:06:40.280 They were all men.
00:06:41.880 Jesus did not abide by the tenets of diversity, equity, and inclusion when selecting apostles,
00:06:48.300 or when doing anything else.
00:06:50.300 He selected only men.
00:06:51.900 So, if Rebecca Todd Peters was around in the year, you know, 30 AD or thereabouts,
00:06:58.760 I suppose she would have gone straight up to Jesus and given him a stern lecture about the importance of inclusion
00:07:03.040 and the need for greater female representation.
00:07:06.080 Then, perhaps, she would have tried to convince him that anyone who harms a child
00:07:09.960 actually shouldn't have a millstone tied around their neck and be thrown into the sea,
00:07:13.860 as Jesus clearly says in Matthew 18,
00:07:15.500 but should instead be celebrated as a feminist hero and awarded $500 million in taxpayer funding.
00:07:23.140 That's obviously the position that Rebecca Todd Peters holds on this subject.
00:07:26.720 As we just heard, after claiming that Jesus would have shepherded women to abortion clinics,
00:07:32.480 Todd goes on to say that she's had two abortions herself.
00:07:36.240 She says she personally works as an escort at abortion clinics every month or so.
00:07:41.540 And the escorts are the people that escort, as the name suggests,
00:07:46.860 they bring the women, basically bring them from their cars into the abortion clinic.
00:07:51.660 And you might ask, well, why do you need an escort?
00:07:53.340 Why do you need someone to do that?
00:07:55.040 And the answer is that sometimes there are pro-life, pro-lifers outside of the abortion clinics,
00:08:01.400 not screaming at them or harassing them, but just trying to, praying for them.
00:08:07.220 And sometimes you might have sidewalk counselors that are trying to give them information, literature,
00:08:11.620 to let them know that there are other choices, there are other options besides killing your child.
00:08:17.300 And the abortion clinic doesn't want these women to know, even though they claim to be pro-choice,
00:08:21.240 they actually don't want the women to know that there are other choices.
00:08:23.880 They don't want them to know that.
00:08:24.740 So they have escorts that their whole job is to make sure the woman, as she goes in,
00:08:31.560 is not exposed to any other information on her way in.
00:08:37.200 So that's what Rebecca Todd Peters does.
00:08:39.020 And then she launches into a pro-abortion riff on the Beatitudes, saying, quote,
00:08:43.040 if Jesus were giving his sermon today, he might have also said,
00:08:46.020 blessed are those who end pregnancies, for they will be known for their loving kindness.
00:08:51.300 And that's obviously not just a misreading of the Bible.
00:08:53.440 It's a satanic inversion of the biblical message.
00:08:57.240 Peters wants us to believe that not only is it morally acceptable to kill your own child,
00:09:01.420 but that it is somehow an act of kindness.
00:09:04.340 It's a sort of kindness to the child that involves brutally killing him
00:09:08.100 and then discarding his body in a medical waste dumpster.
00:09:11.480 Something tells me that Peters would never want anyone to be kind to her in that way.
00:09:17.300 So here, Peters, just like every other pro-abortion pastor,
00:09:19.840 pastor, quote, unquote, is playing the role of the serpent in the garden in the book of Genesis, basically,
00:09:26.560 tempting her confused followers to commit unspeakable sins
00:09:30.060 and promising that they'll be rewarded for it in some unspecified way.
00:09:35.420 Now, this is a woman who, among her many titles,
00:09:37.280 serves as president-elect of the Society of Christian Ethics.
00:09:41.120 She was apparently the vice president not too long ago, and she just got a promotion.
00:09:43.880 And that's her elected position.
00:09:46.800 The woman who says that Jesus would love abortion,
00:09:49.640 who's killed two of her own children and admits to it, brags about it,
00:09:52.940 is calling herself a leader in Christian ethics.
00:09:55.820 And other people calling themselves Christians evidently just go along with that.
00:09:59.620 Now, to be clear, this is not a one-off sermon.
00:10:01.640 This woman has been using her position to promote abortion for some time.
00:10:04.920 In USA Today, for example, she wrote,
00:10:06.280 I did not make my abortion decisions despite my Christian identity and faith,
00:10:10.620 but rather because of it.
00:10:12.060 Christian values that support healthy and secure families
00:10:14.480 also require careful, thoughtful, and morally rich consideration
00:10:17.580 about the decision to become a parent or not.
00:10:21.880 End quote.
00:10:23.380 Of course, the decision about whether to become a parent or not
00:10:26.540 is over the moment a child is conceived.
00:10:29.900 At that point, you are a parent, whether you like it or not.
00:10:33.080 It's too late to be not a parent.
00:10:35.080 And you will never be not a parent ever again.
00:10:38.200 The only decision you have to make at that point
00:10:39.900 is whether you'll be the parent of a living child or a dead one.
00:10:43.980 But Rebecca Todd Peters, a self-described Christian ethicist,
00:10:46.900 doesn't see it that way.
00:10:48.140 Basic tenets of Christianity like don't kill people,
00:10:51.440 you know, thou shalt not commit murder,
00:10:54.240 especially don't kill your own offspring,
00:10:56.160 these kinds of things have to be turned on their head.
00:10:59.340 And that's because the religion she preaches is not Christianity at all.
00:11:02.560 It's the religion of self.
00:11:03.720 It's the worship of the ego.
00:11:05.700 It is Satanism, in other words.
00:11:07.960 There are a lot of lessons to draw from this person.
00:11:10.440 One of them is that it is simply not possible to be a pro-abortion Christian.
00:11:15.160 That's something that doesn't actually exist.
00:11:17.600 You cannot have both.
00:11:18.820 You cannot be Christian and also pro-abortion.
00:11:20.600 Now, we can argue about the subject of abortion on secular grounds.
00:11:24.760 And even on those grounds, the pro-life argument wins easily.
00:11:31.260 But if we're debating the topic as self-professed Christians,
00:11:34.960 there's really nothing to talk about.
00:11:37.520 I mean, the pro-abortion position cannot survive even a moment of scrutiny.
00:11:41.740 Because the child in the mother's womb is a human being created by God in his image.
00:11:46.280 And that's something that if everybody involved in the conversation is Christian,
00:11:50.020 that's something that they should all affirm.
00:11:52.040 You can't not affirm it.
00:11:54.380 Conception is a miraculous event.
00:11:56.220 It is the moment that another divine image-bearer is brought into existence.
00:11:59.860 To kill and discard this child of God, to shed the blood of your own offspring,
00:12:04.720 is an act of unspeakable evil.
00:12:08.180 So the quote-unquote Christian argument for abortion is that, what?
00:12:11.800 That sometimes God makes children in hopes that we will kill them?
00:12:16.360 It is a morally psychotic position.
00:12:18.620 It's blasphemy of the most vile kind.
00:12:20.600 That much is very clear.
00:12:22.900 The other lesson we might learn is more political,
00:12:26.280 and one you've heard me say a lot recently especially,
00:12:28.340 which is that Republicans should not be so terrified of this issue.
00:12:32.840 And this minister is proof of that.
00:12:35.260 I mean, the left's position on the topic of abortion,
00:12:37.580 as evidenced by the clip I just played,
00:12:39.220 is just viscerally disgusting and repugnant.
00:12:43.540 All Republicans have to do is highlight this
00:12:46.480 and stop letting the left set the terms for the debate.
00:12:50.240 The kind of footage I just played is it's disturbing to every sane person.
00:12:54.300 You're unsettled by it.
00:12:55.720 It's creepy.
00:12:58.080 It's terrifying.
00:13:00.500 But it's very often hidden,
00:13:02.500 or at the very least, it's not widely discussed.
00:13:05.440 And that was the case with the footage of this woman's sermon,
00:13:07.700 but it needs to be exposed.
00:13:09.060 All you have to do is point to it to win the argument.
00:13:11.780 Just point to what they're saying.
00:13:13.280 Say, hey, everyone, listen to what this woman is saying.
00:13:14.880 Now, this is an especially extreme and deranged example,
00:13:20.740 but the broader message from these con artists is always the same.
00:13:24.600 They always want to convey the same general idea to Christians,
00:13:27.500 which is this.
00:13:28.580 Do whatever you want to do,
00:13:30.040 and God will endorse it because it's what you want to do.
00:13:33.240 Which is, of course, the diametric opposite of the gospel message,
00:13:36.000 but it's what various heretical Christian organizations and churches
00:13:39.100 are teaching all over the country.
00:13:40.180 It's why we have groups like Catholics for Choice and Dignity USA,
00:13:43.640 which says it's building, quote,
00:13:45.280 LGBTQ plus inclusion in the Catholic church.
00:13:48.920 They're all constructed around the idea that if you want to kill your child
00:13:51.780 or identify as, quote, unquote, non-binary or whatever,
00:13:55.160 whatever you want to do,
00:13:56.240 you should be able to do it because you want to do it.
00:13:59.240 This kind of heresy has reached epidemic proportions.
00:14:01.980 It's what supposedly Christian churches are teaching all over the country.
00:14:05.180 The website Protestia, I think I'm pronouncing that right,
00:14:08.640 has collected several other examples.
00:14:10.340 Here's one of them from another Presbyterian church in Birmingham.
00:14:13.800 This is supposedly another sermon that happens to involve telling people
00:14:18.660 that they're entitled to a lot of free stuff from the government.
00:14:22.180 Let's watch.
00:14:23.920 Jesus never mentioned abortion,
00:14:26.520 but he did talk about poverty.
00:14:29.760 Remember when the rich man asked what to do to inherit eternal life?
00:14:33.880 After loving God and neighbor,
00:14:36.720 Jesus urged him to sell all he had and give it to the poor.
00:14:42.020 When Jesus condemned the scribes and Pharisees for hypocrisy,
00:14:46.100 it was because they were using their positions
00:14:48.880 to make things easy on themselves and hard on everyone else.
00:14:54.940 And when Zacchaeus, a wealthy tax collector,
00:14:58.100 announced that he would repay anyone he'd cheated four times the amount,
00:15:03.140 and give half of his possessions to the poor,
00:15:06.780 Jesus declared that that day salvation had come to him.
00:15:13.220 So how do we set our course in the direction Jesus called for?
00:15:18.760 The direction that leads to salvation?
00:15:21.460 How do we ensure that women and families have the health care,
00:15:27.900 the contraceptive resources, the child care, the housing, the decent jobs,
00:15:33.500 the equitable pay, the equal protection, the access to transportation,
00:15:38.280 the good schools?
00:15:40.040 That's another female quote-unquote pastor for you.
00:15:43.980 So the story of Zacchaeus, the tax collector,
00:15:46.100 teaches us that equity is important, she says.
00:15:49.240 By returning the money he stole,
00:15:50.620 he somehow teaches us that we should ensure that women have contraceptive resources
00:15:54.600 and equitable pay and access to transportation.
00:15:59.700 So really, that story is laying out the 2024 DNC platform, more or less.
00:16:05.300 How progressive.
00:16:06.320 Here's a similar moment from St. Paul's Anglican Church in Cottom,
00:16:10.580 where they performed a hymn for transgenderism.
00:16:13.800 We'll play just a little bit of this because it's as painful as you might expect,
00:16:16.800 but here's just a very short snippet.
00:16:19.680 God of many genders, our world reflects you.
00:16:33.160 Sunrise and sunset uniting our youths.
00:16:39.160 Open into a city with jewels of all shades.
00:16:46.160 You know, it's not a coincidence that any time you hear these sacrilegious hymns,
00:16:58.660 that they also just sound terrible.
00:17:01.100 They're just unpleasant and ugly in every possible way.
00:17:06.180 They also, of course, aren't Christian in any sense of the word.
00:17:09.000 But Christianity has been bastardized by these sorts of people,
00:17:12.560 not just to promote abortion and gender ideology,
00:17:14.780 but also left-wing racial ideology has made its way into many churches.

00:18:13.620 to try to find specifically female pastors
00:18:16.740 saying blasphemous, sacrilegious things.
00:18:18.760 It just so happens that if you're looking for examples
00:18:20.660 of pastors saying blasphemous, sacrilegious things,
00:18:23.360 a huge number of them are going to be female pastors.
00:18:25.800 And that's because, as I said,
00:18:27.480 if there's female pastors in the church,
00:18:29.700 then that means that just from the outset
00:18:31.000 they've already rejected biblical doctrine
00:18:32.740 and put themselves in a position of,
00:18:35.120 you know, just,
00:18:35.620 well, St. Paul doesn't know what he's talking about,
00:18:37.100 that bigot.
00:18:37.720 Like, that's the starting point
00:18:39.220 if you have a female pastor,
00:18:40.940 which means that all the sacrilege

00:18:46.420 a logical extension of that.

00:18:51.340 as some grand act of selflessness,

00:18:56.800 on the most superficial grounds imaginable.

00:19:55.320 that the congregation is sparse

00:47:01.900 shared across TikTok as a fun

00:47:08.360 company fixed the problem within
00:47:09.280 days of its discovery.

00:47:12.100 spoke to the New York Post,
00:47:13.400 we're aware of this incident and
00:47:14.360 has been addressed regardless of
00:47:15.380 what you see online, depositing a
00:47:16.520 fraudulent check and withdrawing
00:47:17.880 the funds from your account is
00:47:18.920 fraud, plain and simple.
00:47:20.400 The spokesperson said once the
00:47:21.560 glitch was fixed, Chase began to
00:47:22.900 rectify the fraudulent withdrawals by
00:47:24.420 deducting the stolen cash from
00:47:25.860 users' accounts.

00:47:28.860 was a separate rash of TikTok
00:47:31.460 videos, viral TikToks, from users
00:47:33.720 showing their accounts massively in

00:47:40.280 they'd taken advantage of the glitch.

00:47:45.160 money back, as it's going to do.
