00:00:00.200 Today on the Matt Walsh Show, racial pandering on the left has somehow managed to reach new lows in the last week.
00:00:05.200 We'll discuss also the media continues to smear Donald Trump for honoring fallen service members while Biden sat on the beach and couldn't be bothered.
00:00:11.980 Trump clarifies his stance on a pro-abortion measure in Florida.
00:00:15.100 And the New York Times encourages you to ditch your air conditioning for the sake of the climate.
00:00:18.460 We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Walsh Show.
00:00:30.000 In just 10 days, my new movie, Am I Racist, hits theaters nationwide.
00:00:50.440 I infiltrated the left's DEI circus, and it's more absurd than you can possibly imagine.
00:00:54.600 It might make you think. It'll definitely make you laugh.
00:00:57.340 So go to miracist.com for tickets and showtimes now.
00:01:01.360 When the demand for racism far exceeds the supply, the inevitable result is that you get race hoaxes.
00:01:07.280 And there are now so many race hoaxes in this country that we have entire genres of race hoaxes to catalog.
00:01:12.680 There's the Jussie Smollett-style hoax where you fake a racist attack.
00:01:16.480 There's the graffiti-style race hoax where you spray-paint something racist on a wall or a car or something like that.
00:01:22.280 Of course, there's the restaurant receipt-style race hoax where somebody leaves a racist message on a receipt.
00:01:29.060 One of the more prominent racist receipt hoaxes is the one that happened at the Saltgrass Steakhouse a few years back
00:01:34.000 when a customer supposedly wrote the words,
00:01:36.600 we don't tip terrorists on his receipt because the waiter looked like he was from the Middle East or something.
00:01:41.720 And the waiter put out a social media post saying that the receipt is a proof that racism is alive and well.
00:01:47.940 This is racism and this hatred still exists, he posted on Instagram.
00:01:51.760 The restaurant immediately announced it was banning the customer for life
00:01:54.380 because the waiter obviously wouldn't lie about something like that,
00:01:57.800 only for the waiter to eventually admit what every sane person already knew,
00:02:01.280 which is that he fabricated the whole thing.
00:02:03.840 These race hoaxes are so predictable that you'd be forgiven for believing that innovation is truly dead in the race hoax industry.
00:02:12.080 Race hoaxes have become, it seems, a lot like iPhones.
00:02:15.580 There's no real variation from year to year.
00:02:17.620 You just keep getting the same thing over and over and over again.
00:02:21.060 And that's true for the most part.
00:02:22.360 But there was one very notable recent exception to this general rule,
00:02:26.500 and it comes to us from Charles County, Maryland.
00:02:28.960 For the first time in recorded history, we have a twist on the restaurant receipt race hoax.
00:02:35.340 The spin is that in this case, the receipt isn't actually being faked by anyone.
00:02:40.520 It's a 100% accurate receipt, according to all parties involved.
00:02:44.740 So in that sense, this is something of an upgrade over the typical genre standbys that we're all used to.
00:02:50.520 Unfortunately, in every other respect, this is still one of the dumbest race hoaxes to ever occur in this country.
00:02:57.600 It's so extraordinarily low IQ and insulting to the intelligence of everybody involved
00:03:02.380 that it defies comprehension as to why a single news station anywhere would cover this complete non-story,
00:03:09.600 except maybe to laugh at it.
00:03:11.240 But some news outlets, both national and local, did cover the story and covered it with a straight face.
00:03:16.800 Here's one of those stations.
00:03:19.240 A Charles County man is outraged after he placed a drive-thru order at Chick-fil-A,
00:03:26.040 and he says a worker printed a racist name on the label.
00:03:30.580 Our Amy Cho has that story you will only see here on News 4.
00:03:35.460 When Marquise Manzago got his food from the La Plata Chick-fil-A drive-thru last Friday,
00:03:40.560 he was shocked to see this printed on the label, the word monkeys instead of his name.
00:03:45.920 It was devastating because it just set me back, you know, years.
00:03:49.420 You know, as a black male, we've gone through a lot, and it just kind of, it's a constant reminder.
00:03:55.320 Just when you think you're healing from a situation, someone opens that wound back up.
00:03:59.900 Manzago says he went inside to complain, and a manager and the store owner later apologized to him.
00:04:05.880 Manzago says the owner told him he wouldn't fire the employee involved
00:04:09.780 because the employee was a minor and said he misheard the name.
00:04:13.660 Manzago says he placed the order face-to-face, not through a microphone,
00:04:18.400 because the worker was standing outside in the drive-thru line.
00:04:22.120 I think that they could have been handled a lot differently.
00:04:24.120 I definitely think that the employee should have been terminated on the spot.
00:04:27.940 It's unfortunate that he might end up losing his job, but that happens.
00:04:32.140 He needs to learn from this.
00:04:34.020 Manzago says he's hired an attorney,
00:04:36.160 and he's considering filing a federal lawsuit against Chick-fil-A for discrimination.
00:04:40.720 I won't be going back to that Chick-fil-A any longer.
00:04:42.540 But racism is still alive.
00:04:46.400 Racism is still alive, he says, pretending to be upset.
00:04:49.980 He's been set back years by this.
00:04:52.320 He saw writing on a receipt.
00:04:55.500 He saw the word monkeys on a receipt, and he can barely sleep at night.
00:05:01.940 He can barely, he's incapacitated.
00:05:03.660 He's lying on the ground in his house in the fetal position, unable to cope with having seen the word monkeys.
00:05:13.980 And that's, by the way, this is similar to what the saltgrass waiter said a couple of years ago, too.
00:05:18.600 Of course, the irony is that if racism were still alive, as they say, they wouldn't need to make it up.
00:05:23.040 We're supposed to think that these hoaxers are really angry that racism is still alive.
00:05:27.340 But, of course, the opposite is true.
00:05:29.120 They want racism to exist so badly that they're willing to invent it.
00:05:34.520 You know, that guy got that receipt.
00:05:35.920 And, again, by all accounts, it seems like that really was printed on the receipt.
00:05:40.180 But he got that, and he read it.
00:05:41.920 And we all know he was so excited when he read that.
00:05:44.960 It was the greatest day of his life when some kid accidentally misheard him and put monkeys on the receipt.
00:05:51.840 Greatest thing that's ever happened to this guy.
00:05:54.200 He is so excited.
00:05:55.520 He just had the dollar signs in his eyes and everything.
00:05:59.640 So the hope is that the race hoax will follow the familiar pattern.
00:06:03.160 That's always the hoaxer's hope.
00:06:04.820 First, the social media outrage, followed by the termination of the allegedly offending party, followed by a big payout, followed by them taking their place alongside the great civil rights heroes of our time, men like George Floyd and Michael Brown.
00:06:19.980 And they're not quite sure how to react when that pattern doesn't play out.
00:06:24.880 Notice in the video that the man assumes that the teenage employee will be fired, even though Chick-fil-A has already said that he won't be.
00:06:30.860 He says, well, it's sad he might have to lose his job, but he needs to learn a lesson.
00:06:35.540 It's as if he can't process the fact that he's being told that, no, the Chick-fil-A employee didn't actually suffer any kind of consequence, nor should he.
00:06:43.560 Nevertheless, the man says he's thinking about filing a federal lawsuit against Chick-fil-A because that receipt was just devastating, devastating.
00:06:52.560 He's never going back to that Chick-fil-A ever again, because apparently the equivalent of the KKK has taken over that Chick-fil-A.
00:06:59.760 Whenever they see a black customer, they just write monkey on the receipt, because that's how racist they are at this particular Chick-fil-A.
00:07:08.700 That's the narrative that the media is reporting without any pushback whatsoever, even though it's extremely obvious that this was a misunderstanding on the part of the employee.
00:07:17.080 The guy's name is Marquise, which does sound very close to monkeys, Marquise, monkeys.
00:07:24.240 I mean, it sounds similar.
00:07:25.720 Now, if his name was like Bob or Larry or something, and someone says they misheard it as monkeys, you know, then he'd have a little bit more of a case.
00:07:35.980 Then you could maybe convince someone that this was a malicious attempt to communicate some racist message to this customer for some reason.
00:07:44.180 Maybe you could convince someone that this employee was just willing to, like, sacrifice his livelihood for the sake of putting a racist message on a receipt.
00:07:54.780 When in reality, by the way, I feel bad for this kid.
00:07:59.000 Of course, he's the only one to feel bad for.
00:08:01.400 Put yourself in his shoes.
00:08:03.340 He's working the drive-thru.
00:08:04.820 Guy comes up, places his order.
00:08:07.540 The kid asks, what name can I put on it?
00:08:11.020 And the guy says something that, like, and he hears it as monkeys.
00:08:15.380 But what's he going to do now?
00:08:16.580 Because he doesn't, he's probably thinking to himself, well, I can't, I can't ask.
00:08:21.100 I can't say monkeys.
00:08:24.020 Was that the name?
00:08:25.280 He can't say that.
00:08:26.460 So now he's, like, probably frantically going through his mind thinking, like, what's a name that sounds similar to monkeys that I could just put on here?
00:08:33.660 And he can't think of anything.
00:08:34.820 So he just puts it on there.
00:08:37.520 So this guy either said monkeys, or maybe he might have even, for all we know, this guy actually said monkeys in the drive-thru lane.
00:08:44.340 And this is all just some big setup.
00:08:47.460 Who knows?
00:08:48.100 But whatever, the employee thought that he heard monkeys.
00:08:50.960 That's what we know for sure.
00:08:53.580 And we can be pretty sure of all that because the alternative makes no sense whatsoever.
00:08:57.640 This Chick-fil-A is in Maryland.
00:08:59.960 This drive-thru employee probably serves dozens of black customers a day.
00:09:04.020 Does he call all of them racial slurs, or did he just randomly select this guy for no particular reason?
00:09:12.020 Did he wake up and decide, you know what, today's the day.
00:09:14.960 Today's the day I'm going to go ahead and, you know, make this.
00:09:17.540 The rest of my life will be about this moment.
00:09:19.420 I'm going to call a guy, a black guy, a monkey.
00:09:21.380 And I'm going to put it in writing.
00:09:25.860 Is there a single person who actually believes that that's a plausible scenario?
00:09:29.380 And yet the media uncritically reports on the customer's trauma.
00:09:33.480 Then he makes his pitch for a lawsuit, which is really a shakedown.
00:09:37.520 He's essentially telling Chick-fil-A to pay up, or he's going to smear them as much as possible.
00:09:43.140 If you watch the video, this guy recorded in the Chick-fil-A, which I won't play because it's painful to listen to.
00:09:48.700 But he immediately demands that the employee loses his job.
00:09:52.400 And then he promises to make the clip go viral.
00:09:55.600 So he went directly into making threats as soon as he saw an opportunity.
00:09:58.880 He had the lawyer on the phone as soon as he possibly could.
00:10:01.280 So this is inexcusable behavior on the part of the customer, obviously.
00:10:05.040 But it's also predictable.
00:10:07.140 This is the kind of response that a lot of people will have when everyone in the media is telling them at every opportunity that they're a victim because of their skin color.
00:10:14.800 It's what happens when some people are bombarded with lies about how oppressed they are.
00:10:19.480 And that's happening constantly, right out in the open.
00:10:21.260 The other day, for example, the actor and singer Tyrese had a conversation with the race-hustling ambulance chaser Ben Crump.
00:10:29.180 And Tyrese made a claim that's clearly false and also clearly designed to stoke as much racial animosity and resentment as possible.
00:10:37.440 And, of course, Ben Crump, the alleged lawyer, just sits and agrees with it.
00:10:43.260 But this is really an extraordinary claim.
00:10:45.280 I want you to listen to this.
00:10:46.360 Here it is.
00:10:46.960 President Biden and Kamala Harris signed an Asian hate crime bill, which makes it beyond illegal to ever purposely and maliciously do anything to anybody in the Asian community.
00:11:04.100 And there was a spike in crimes and criminal behavior in and around COVID, allegedly and specifically motivated by Trump.
00:11:17.520 And so everybody started treating Asians, beating them, killing them, shooting them, stabbing them, hurting them.
00:11:25.880 And then he gets into the White House, skips over every black and brown Mexican and Latino that have been getting killed like flies, and he makes it a law.
00:11:38.840 Asian hate crime bill is signed into law.
00:11:45.460 So whether you're a police officer or a regular civilian, if you wake up on a Wednesday and say, he's Asian, a woman or a man, let's go do something bad to them, which, God forbid, would ever happen again.
00:11:58.200 But it is a crime bill that was signed into law that protects Asians at all costs.
00:12:05.360 Where is that same law to be signed into law when it comes to black and brown people?
00:12:13.680 Because what you're doing is, President Biden and Kamala Harris, what you're doing is, you're saying that black and brown people will continue to be disposable.
00:12:22.720 So, Tyrese claims bizarrely that there are no hate crime laws protecting black and brown people.
00:12:30.400 Never mind that every hate crime law protects those groups, and most of them were written specifically to protect those groups.
00:12:38.160 Just last week, Kamala was once again promoting the Anti-Lynching Act the Biden administration signed into law a couple of years ago.
00:12:44.200 So, that was yet another hate crime bill written specifically to protect black people from a form of violence that, by the way, none of them have suffered in at least 40 years.
00:12:53.520 Also, as I covered last week, lynching is already illegal about three times over, so they made it illegal a fourth time.
00:12:59.220 As to the specific legislation that Tyrese is talking about, he's wrong about that, too.
00:13:04.940 There was no bill that only punishes anti-Asian hate crimes.
00:13:08.640 The COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act, which is apparently what he's referring to, applied to all forms of hate crime.
00:13:15.680 It just made it easier to report and catalog these incidents, and a lot of people pointed this out online, so it's not a particularly convincing lie either.
00:13:23.380 And as I've discussed before, this is all a moot point anyway, because hate crimes shouldn't be an actual category of crime.
00:13:29.880 For one thing, a lot of crimes committed against other people typically involve some form of hatred, so we don't need a special category for certain kinds of hatred.
00:13:37.740 And for another thing, hate crimes aren't prosecuted or reported with any kind of consistency.
00:13:44.480 Those are legitimate complaints you can make about hate crime legislation, but the idea that they don't protect black and brown people is just complete nonsense.
00:13:54.540 In the Ahmaud Arbery case, after the state secured the murder convictions, the feds went back and prosecuted those defendants for hate crimes because of racist text messages they had sent before the murder about someone other than Ahmaud Arbery.
00:14:07.740 It was an entirely separate prosecution.
00:14:10.280 They got guilty pleas and then additional life sentences because of it.
00:14:15.000 But apparently, those hate crime laws don't exist, according to Tyrese and Ben Crump.
00:14:21.260 This is the same kind of race hustling that Barack Obama specialized in, but these people aren't anywhere near as good at it.
00:14:28.480 Obama could look the camera in the eye and wag his finger and say whatever he wanted.
00:14:33.280 He could convince a lot of people that hate crime laws only protect white people if he wanted to.
00:14:37.500 But Tyrese and Ben Crump aren't so gifted.
00:14:39.940 They're not anywhere near as coherent, so their pandering is just too obvious.
00:14:43.940 In fact, right now, there aren't many prominent members of the Democrat Party who are capable of pulling off the Obama-style hustle.
00:14:50.920 Kamala Harris certainly isn't capable of it.
00:14:53.400 Even in scripted moments, pretty much the only kinds of moments that her handlers will allow her to have, even in those moments, she can't do it.
00:15:00.360 So take a look at these two clips from Kamala Harris events.
00:15:04.400 This is just yesterday.
00:15:05.620 One is in Detroit, and the other is in Pennsylvania, and they're just a few hours apart.
00:15:13.140 So see if you can notice any differences.
00:15:16.980 You'd better thank a union member for the five-day work week.
00:15:26.380 You'd better thank a union member for sick leave.
00:15:29.360 You'd better thank a union member for paid leave.
00:15:32.240 You'd better thank a union member for vacation time.
00:15:35.640 Thank unions for sick leave.
00:15:38.460 Thank unions for paid family leave.
00:15:42.180 Thank unions for your vacation time.
00:15:44.820 you better thank a union member you better thank a union member for vacation time
00:15:54.420 it sounds just as authentic when i do it but maybe even more i think i sound a little bit
00:16:00.720 more authentic than kamala harris does i can pull that off better than she could
00:16:04.260 um you better thank a union member
00:16:09.200 you gotta get that you better thank you better thank a union member you gotta get that kind of
00:16:15.360 there's a there's a little flow to it that she's trying to do um and you know we're used to seeing
00:16:20.680 this kind of thing and you know so obviously the detroit speech she's once again trying to sound
00:16:24.520 urban but instead ends up sounding like foghorn leghorn she's trying to connect with black voters
00:16:31.280 by changing her accent and tone but ironically she winds up sounding a little bit like a plantation
00:16:37.000 owner in the antebellum south meanwhile in the pennsylvania clip she just saw she sounds
00:16:42.200 completely different and hillary clinton and barack obama and bill clinton did this kind of thing all
00:16:47.020 the time but they at least waited like a few days before dropping their accents they didn't leave the
00:16:53.480 urban environment and immediately start speaking normally again and you usually don't get like the
00:16:58.920 exact same lines that you can compare side by side that way so this may be the single worst attempt at
00:17:07.840 quote unquote code switching or whatever you want to call it that has ever been attempted but kamala
00:17:14.260 attempted it anyway so whatever this is whether it's desperation or incompetence or both it's a clear sign
00:17:20.720 that the democrats aren't going to change their tactics just because they don't have the talent to pull
00:17:26.020 it off they still have no problem being completely shameless in their attempts to divide this country
00:17:31.240 along racial lines so that means the media will continue to tell us that innocuous restaurant
00:17:36.480 receipts are racist ben crump will nod along as an actor lies about hate crimes and kamala harris will do
00:17:43.520 everything she can to prevent people from realizing that she grew up in a wealthy neighborhood in
00:17:47.880 montreal put it all together and it's clear the left's racial pandering is now so overt that it manages to
00:17:55.620 insult the intelligence of the people that they're pandering to this is inevitably what happens when
00:18:01.380 the demand for racism outstrips the supply you get hoax after hoax after hoax and eventually the hoaxes
00:18:07.200 start looking a bit too familiar and a bit too obvious that's what we're seeing now the fraud is
00:18:13.460 clearer than it's ever been and if kamala harris made anything clear yesterday it's that she's incapable

00:19:58.480 that she made against former president donald trump that was filled with false statements

00:20:07.520 the 13 u.s service members who died during the withdrawal which was approved by harris

00:20:18.080 at anc and that they were appalled by her attacks on social media saying that she disgracefully twisted
00:20:24.160 this sacred moment into a political ploy they said quote reading the statement vice president harris
00:20:31.480 bears responsibility for the deaths of our sons and daughters despite our multiple requests for a
00:20:35.980 meeting to discuss the loss of our loved ones vice president harris has repeatedly ignored us showing
00:20:40.640 a complete lack of empathy and accountability this refusal to face the consequences of her
00:20:45.320 administration's decisions is a deep betrayal to us as gold star families president trump on the
00:20:52.060 other hand has been the only commander in chief to consistently recognize the heroism of our children
00:20:56.380 his attendance at arlington was not for political gain but to stand with us to grieve with us
00:21:00.960 and to honor the legacy of those who gave everything for this nation his leadership during his time in
00:21:06.060 office was strong and we have no doubt that if he were still commander in chief our children would be
00:21:10.900 alive today um so that's what they have to say about it and of course they're correct that well
00:21:18.420 they're correct about the whole thing but they're fundamentally correct that you know harris is accusing
00:21:26.300 trump of using the arlington national cemetery as a political prop when in fact that's exactly what
00:21:34.080 she's doing he didn't turn it into a political issue he was just there okay um they made the fact
00:21:43.180 that he was there into a political issue so they're they are the ones of course who are politicizing it
00:21:47.540 and uh there were also a bunch of as the article said a bunch of individual statements from gold star
00:21:53.280 families responding to this contrived controversy that kamala harris's campaign has uh cooked up
00:22:01.000 so here's uh we'll watch one of those statements here it is vice president harris my name is steve
00:22:07.760 nikui i'm the father of lance corporal kareem m nikui
00:22:11.340 and your administration killed my son deliberately in exchange for political theatrics
00:22:21.080 so you could have a final day of the evacuation coincide with september 11th
00:22:26.680 ignoring the vice of your generals the doha agreement and countless other veterans and members
00:22:32.200 of congress denying the safety of the afghans and the servicemen and women your choice to play
00:22:39.480 politics in 2021 killed 170 afghans 13 u.s service members and wounded 45 of our superverse members
00:22:47.880 as well as countless afghans you are not at dover for the dignified transfer at no time have you
00:22:55.160 reached out to me to offer your condolences to offer thank you for kareem's sacrifice and service
00:23:02.120 not once have you honored him by saying his name so i said it for you you have disparaged all 13 who
00:23:09.560 have lost their lives as well as their families exhibiting your lack of gratitude by your silence
00:23:15.720 i agree with you on one thing that a person like you should never and will never stand behind the
00:23:21.800 seal of presidency you are a dei vice president and contrary to our kids the worst that america
00:23:30.360 has the offer i will pray for you that god has mercy on your soul
00:23:38.600 so this should really be the scandal biden got those service members killed he ignored the families
00:23:43.240 didn't show up to the dignified transfer didn't show up to the ceremony at arlington uh hasn't
00:23:48.840 contacted them doesn't care and yet trump is the villain of this story somehow so i really have to wonder
00:24:00.280 what the kamala campaign is seeing in their internal polling that has made them this desperate
00:24:06.760 because they're obviously worried so they're playing this card relentlessly and i wonder i've seen this
00:24:13.240 speculation on twitter and i think there's probably truth to it you have to wonder if their internals are
00:24:19.320 showing that kamala is way underwater um with veterans and the military vote and uh and you know my
00:24:27.720 guess is that the veteran vote is strongly against kamala partly because she's a communist
00:24:32.760 communist and people in the military generally don't approve of communism and partly because her
00:24:40.360 running mate is a fraud who committed stolen valor and so those two factors together will make you
00:24:47.720 pretty unpopular with many people in the military and many people who are ex-military and and veterans
00:24:53.720 so most likely if i had to guess they've seen that they're worried about it and this is their way of
00:25:00.680 trying to counteract it with this uh psyop trying to convince everyone that trump somehow disrespected
00:25:07.960 the military by showing up to to arlington you know and and being filmed there even though as we talked
00:25:15.640 about last week presidents and presidential candidates are filmed at arlington all the time
00:25:22.600 it has never been an issue ever until right now biden was filmed there obama was bush was
00:25:30.360 clinton was clinton was on and on and on i mean biden put arlington in in campaign ads
00:25:38.280 they had images of biden at arlington they had images from arlington that biden put into campaign ads
00:25:47.400 but this is the game with trump it's always been their game plan it's this constant gaslighting
00:25:53.240 uh trying to convince us that we should be shocked and scandalized by things that are normal
00:26:00.200 they take something normal trump has done and they shout this is unprecedented nobody's ever done this
00:26:05.960 before in history we've never seen anything like this and every time they do that your first reaction is to
00:26:13.560 think wait no but i'm pretty sure i'm pretty sure like every president has done that what do you haven't
00:26:21.000 i seen this a million times but they want you to ignore your first reaction ignore your gut level reaction
00:26:30.440 um ignore your uh your bs detector and uh conjure up within yourself somehow some kind of outrage at trump
00:26:39.240 for doing something that doesn't even seem wrong to you because it isn't wrong that's what they want
00:26:50.120 moving on to biden who's back from his um three-week vacation i mean well he's not back in the white
00:26:55.400 house this guy hasn't been in the white house in like a month okay um and he takes a three-week
00:27:03.320 vacation he he's he's done in january he's done forever in politics and you got a couple of months
00:27:11.880 left you could take your the rest of your life however short it may be god forbid will be a vacation
00:27:19.160 starting in january you can't wait until then before taking off and going to the beach you can spend the
00:27:27.080 rest of your life on the beach starting in january but he can't wait so he's uh he's been he's been
00:27:35.880 there and uh yesterday though he returned from the beach and he went to uh give a speech in pittsburgh
00:27:42.600 he's out campaigning now and it only took about 15 seconds in his speech in pittsburgh last night to
00:27:51.080 show that biden uh certainly did not reclaim any of his mental faculties during his hiatus listen
00:27:58.760 you're going to be the manufacturing capital world where the hell is that written
00:28:03.240 we are the greatest manufacturing city county in the world state in the world
00:28:11.000 we're going to remain that way
00:28:15.480 he says we are the greatest manufacturing city in the world county in the world state in the
00:28:20.760 world city in the world what's so amazing about and it's like there's no point in even dissecting
00:28:25.880 these uh biden he's done i mean his mind is gone so it's just it's finished he's completely gone
00:28:34.600 and we know that but this one stands out because it he runs through every level of
00:28:41.800 social organization except country he's searching for country he hits every other level of government
00:28:51.960 except that one he hits uh city county state and then like he's about to get it it took him three
00:29:01.960 tries he almost was i mean he got city county state last one is country that's what you're looking for
00:29:07.800 but he circles back to city
00:29:11.800 his brain is like
00:29:14.680 it is it precludes him from saying the one word that he wants to say it's like he's his
00:29:20.520 this guy's mind is a vacuum at this point it's an abyss it's a it's a black hole
00:29:29.560 and this guy is still allegedly running the country all right um
00:29:33.000 um i also wanted to mention that this is important to talk about well it's not very
00:29:39.080 important but i'll still talk about it jd vance is often accused unfairly i think accused of being
00:29:45.000 an awkward guy and you see these clips floating around of vance on the campaign trail having
00:29:50.120 interactions with people and the social media peanut gallery sneers and snickers about it claiming that
00:29:57.000 vance is just this awkward dude with with no riz as the kids would say but um as with most criticisms
00:30:04.600 of vance i think it's completely unfair in fact i've watched these videos i think he's he's pretty
00:30:10.280 smooth and natural on the campaign trail he's pretty he's better than i thought he would be
00:30:15.480 um so i've been impressed it's just that he gets blamed he gets blamed so i want to show you this
00:30:21.720 because this is a it's it's symptomatic of of the issue with jd vance he gets blamed for stuff like
00:30:28.600 this here's the latest viral video allegedly showing jd vance being awkward and weird but let
00:30:37.080 let's just very quick little clip let's watch it and see who's to blame in this interaction let's see
00:30:44.360 it good to see you first time here first time here okay thank you for coming of course that was quick
00:30:54.120 you may have you may have missed play play the clip one more time it's very important to would dissect
00:30:58.760 this play one more time okay see good to see you so this this clips all over twitter right now people
00:31:08.440 are saying oh you see this this guy's so awkward um who's to blame for that he goes in for the the
00:31:16.280 handshake the woman goes for the fist bump and so he kind of like awkwardly shakes her balled up fist
00:31:24.200 and then withdraws and then goes for the fist bump because that's what she's trying to do
00:31:29.240 she looks at his hand with the fist bump and just keeps her hands in her pocket like what
00:31:33.560 how can you blame him for that he went in for the handshake with an old woman who would ever think
00:31:41.640 that an old white woman would do the fist bump he wasn't ready for that you see an old white woman
00:31:48.840 you think it's either going to be a handshake or a hug those are the only two what other greeting
00:31:53.960 would there be with granny over here he never expected that she would go for the fist bump
00:31:59.800 and then he tries to switch who does that what kind of sociopath like first of all you've switched
00:32:07.560 the greeting mid midstream and then he tries to correct and you don't even humor him with this
00:32:14.200 you leave him hanging uh this is why and this is this is really what is important to me
00:32:22.120 when someone the the rule here and it should be a this should be if i if i was in charge this is a
00:32:32.200 legal thing i mean i would put the force of law behind it when when someone initiates a greeting
00:32:41.400 you go with whatever type of greeting they have initiated okay so i can't stand when people do this
00:32:50.760 if someone goes in for the handshake you shake their hand you don't try to switch it to a fist
00:32:55.320 bump if the fist bump is so important to you then you have to initiate you waited too long
00:33:01.720 you can't do that somebody if somebody goes for the fist bump on the other hand you don't try to
00:33:06.520 change it to a handshake if somebody goes for a hug i'm not a big hugger but if someone goes for a hug
00:33:11.800 you don't like awkwardly try to put your hand in between you just do the hug you you suck it up and do the
00:33:16.680 hug okay this is crazy that people don't if if they go in for a kiss on the lips you know what
00:33:24.840 you pucker up and give the kiss i'm kidding about that last one i i draw the line at the kiss okay if
00:33:30.840 someone goes for the kiss that's too intimate uh so then that really is on them because they went too
00:33:35.480 far but really greetings it should be a handshake in most circumstances a fist bump is like i mean really
00:33:43.240 we should just get rid of the fist bump as a greeting at all between strangers especially
00:33:51.720 okay if this is like your buddies or something you know whatever but a fist bump
00:33:58.040 between strangers who are adults and you're doing a fist bump so really that we should just get rid of
00:34:06.440 that as a as a greeting but um handshake there are circumstances where a hug even between strangers
00:34:14.360 can be you know can be the the the correct etiquette again i say that as not a big hugger but um and then
00:34:21.320 if you want to throw a fist bump so like those are the three but when somebody initiates one of those
00:34:26.680 those if they initiate a high five then you reciprocate
00:34:32.920 drives me crazy drives me crazy
00:34:37.720 i don't know i don't understand how people do this um okay
00:34:45.160 yeah i'd put i mean if it were up to me that woman's going to prison for that
00:34:48.440 that's that's and i'm not look i'm not unreasonable i'm not saying i'd put her in
00:34:52.600 not even prison you know what i wouldn't even put her in prison i'll i'll correct that i put her in
00:34:57.400 jail so i'm not saying we put her in prison for five years for that but i think that's worth 30 days in jail
00:35:05.160 because this is i guarantee this woman is old she's been doing that her whole life
00:35:09.560 ruining normal social interactions by being unnecessarily weird about it
00:35:15.560 and not just going with the flow right i guarantee she's she's been doing that forever
00:35:21.960 and someone's got to put a stop to it
00:35:26.360 all right um
00:35:28.760 what else we got here last week we talked about this amendment four issue in florida
00:35:33.880 amendment four will overturn florida's abortion restrictions
00:35:37.960 and actually make abortion legal through every stage of pregnancy up until birth
00:35:42.120 it's incredibly radical deranged demonic um beyond extreme and trump was asked whether he would vote
00:35:51.080 in favor of this radical pro-abortion amendment because he's a resident of florida and the first
00:35:56.760 time he was asked he didn't give an answer but seemed to sort of indicate that maybe he would support it
00:36:04.040 although it wasn't clear and we talked about that on friday and then later in the day i think
00:36:07.960 it was the same day he finally gave uh this clarification let's listen disagreed with that
00:36:13.880 right from the early primaries when i heard about it i disagreed with it at the same time the democrats
00:36:19.560 are radical because the nine months is just a ridiculous situation that where you can do an
00:36:24.760 abortion in the ninth month and you know some of the states like minnesota and other states have it
00:36:29.480 where you can actually execute the baby after birth and all of that stuff is unacceptable so i'll be
00:36:36.840 voting no for that reason okay there you go so that's the right answer it's an easy answer to give
00:36:47.080 um it it would have been great if he had given that answer the first time um because it is easy
00:36:55.960 you know you just pivot back to left-wing extremism it's not this i've been i you know
00:37:02.120 i've been shouting this into a megaphone now incessantly for months really years during my
00:37:11.880 career but the pro-life issue i don't care i understand oh the polls the polls say that
00:37:20.520 most americans are okay stop being a little pansy i understand the poll you don't have to be afraid and
00:37:27.560 i say this as a general comment to conservatives in general you don't need to be afraid of the issue
00:37:32.920 just because the polls say this or that okay who are we that we're we're afraid of the way the way
00:37:39.880 that conservatives especially in this election cycle are treating the abortion issue they're just
00:37:45.080 terrified of it petrified ashamed they're embarrassed you you we are opposed
00:37:53.880 to the murder of babies what are you embarrassed about why would you be ashamed of that
00:38:03.160 um and it's not difficult it is actually not a difficult issue to talk about or navigate around
00:38:11.080 and i say this as for the umpteenth time i'll repeat i'm not expecting because even though we
00:38:16.600 shouldn't be afraid of what the polls say i understand the polls are a reality and if you're
00:38:21.240 running for office especially national office you have to deal with that reality and i'm not
00:38:26.760 expecting uh candidates for national office to you know go jump on a grenade and blow up their campaign
00:38:36.040 for no reason i'm not expecting them to take you know to go out of their way to take positions that are
00:38:42.600 wildly unpopular and that might actually sink their campaign which is why i don't expect trump to come out
00:38:49.240 and say that uh for example he wants to pass a law banning abortion from birth at the federal level
00:38:56.920 i don't i would like to see that law you there's a there's a very good argument for that law in fact
00:39:05.080 the only good argument is for because it's a constant it's a it's a human rights issue and so it is a
00:39:09.800 constitutional issue but i don't expect that um and i want the these candidates to actually be elected
00:39:17.640 right you can't do anything if they're not elected so uh you know you got it so there's a there's a
00:39:23.400 certain amount of pragmatism you have to be practical i get all that but even acknowledging that
00:39:29.760 and acknowledging that there are sensitivities you have to work around and you can't just run into this
00:39:36.780 issue like a bull in a china shop as i tend to do and i also get that i have the luxury of approaching
00:39:44.040 issues that way because i'm not running for office but with all that established
00:39:50.420 it's still a really easy issue to deal with because we they are the ones who are supporting
00:40:02.780 the murder of children and so they are the ones who have all of these uh you know pitfalls all of
00:40:11.760 these booby traps that are laid out there that they could fall into at any moment when talking
00:40:16.300 about this issue that's why they have to constantly use euphemisms all the time they are the ones who
00:40:23.560 should be terrified of this issue and if you approach it the right way and you're smart about it they
00:40:29.000 will be terrified of it there's a way for trump kamal harris is going into this debate next week
00:40:35.820 obviously you know planning probably to hit trump on abortion over and over and over again
00:40:42.040 but it would not be difficult for trump to handle it in a way where suddenly this thing that kamala
00:40:49.900 harris wanted to talk about for the entire debate she doesn't want to talk about it anymore
00:40:54.120 it wouldn't be hard to do you you can steer this conversation because there's as i've said a million
00:41:01.740 times there's there's a narrow lane that the democrats want to walk on this issue there's a
00:41:08.380 narrow lane that they want to be in that lane and as long as they're in that lane yeah they they're
00:41:13.180 very comfortable there they want to talk about it they feel like it's a winner for them
00:41:16.860 but it's so narrow it's not even a lane it's like a tightrope they have to walk
00:41:23.340 so i just takes a slight nudge to knock them off balance and suddenly they're falling into an abyss
00:41:32.420 that they don't want to where they don't want to be
00:41:34.320 um not hard to get them there and all that means is pivot back to their extremism they want to murder
00:41:46.080 babies until uh through every stage of pregnancy pivot back to the fundamental questions on this issue
00:41:52.460 questions like well what when do do people when is a person a person is a baby not a person until
00:42:04.980 the moment it emerges from the birth canal why would that be the case
00:42:09.940 i mean if you have a firm position on this you think abortion should be legal through every stage
00:42:16.120 of pregnancy then you must have an answer as to whether or not the child is a person
00:42:19.800 and they can't answer that they can't answer that she's not gonna say if trump has the the wits
00:42:29.860 and the wherewithal to just turn to her and say listen kamala we're talking about this issue i'm
00:42:34.300 fine talking about it but can we just get down to the let's get down to the brass tacks on this thing
00:42:38.120 first at what point is a baby a person like isn't that what we're talking about can you answer that
00:42:45.920 question first she's not gonna she will not answer that question um and that's a problem because well
00:42:55.220 she'll say something obama famously said it's above his pay grade uh she'll say something like that
00:43:01.940 she'll say well uh this is the many people have different opinions on this it's impossible to know
00:43:07.000 well wait a second so you're saying you don't know if the baby is a person
00:43:12.360 and so even in your version of events you might be supporting the murder of people
00:43:21.040 so you don't know if the baby's a person and your answer is kill the baby anyway
00:43:28.260 i mean before you kill something shouldn't you at least be shouldn't you at least figure out what it is
00:43:37.360 um basic question trump goes that route it's a it's a winner i guarantee he can annihilate her on
00:43:48.560 this issue embarrass her but you can't be afraid of it you got you gotta you can't be afraid of it
00:43:57.720 there's no reason to be afraid right it's like i tell my uh when i'm out with my sons and we're
00:44:02.920 throwing a ball around and i throw the ball at them i say don't be you know they want to flinch and
00:44:07.020 look away from the ball and catch it i say don't be afraid of the ball don't be afraid of it playing
00:44:10.720 nothing it's not gonna hurt you it might hit your head and you'll you know you'll be fine don't be
00:44:14.200 afraid of the ball well when you're talking about this issue don't be afraid of the ball don't don't
00:44:19.600 be afraid of it right you're throwing this this thing back and forth don't be afraid of it there's
00:44:27.400 nothing to be afraid of and lean into it
00:44:32.700 and if you're willing to do that you can win the argument very easily
00:44:37.180 in just 10 days my new movie am i racist hits theaters nationwide that's right starting september
00:44:43.620 13th the joke is on the left and the only way to see it is on the big screen i went deep undercover

00:45:07.640 now let's get to our daily cancellation
00:45:09.460 now listeners of this show know that i am often a critic of modern western civilization i criticize
00:45:20.960 it not because i hate it or want to leave but because i love it and plan to stay here until i die
00:45:26.240 and raise my children here just as my children will raise their own children and so on and so on
00:45:30.960 what troubles me about our society is the degradation the moral chaos the signs of collapse
00:45:36.140 and decay and that's where i focus my criticisms but there are others who hate western civilization
00:45:42.240 for all of the good things about it they are the authors of the degradation chaos and collapse that i
00:45:49.220 just mentioned they criticize western civilization because they despise it just as they despise civilization
00:45:55.200 itself and that explains the relatively recent rise of the anti-air conditioning movement
00:46:00.700 which is of course an outgrowth of the climate hysteria that has gripped hold of some of the
00:46:05.220 most impressionable and gullible portions of our society this weekend an author named stan cox
00:46:10.200 submitted another entry into the burgeoning anti-ac genre with an op-ed in the new york times titled
00:46:15.880 i swore off air conditioning and you can too well yes stan we can swear it off but why in god's name
00:46:24.800 would we want to that's the question he needs to answer and let's see if he does quote whenever
00:46:30.160 people ask me how my wife and i have endured 25 kansas summers almost entirely without air conditioning
00:46:35.240 i like to say we do it because air conditioning makes it too hot outside we're not aesthetics
00:46:39.960 luddites or misers we just want to keep living comfortably indoors and out now a quick side note
00:46:46.220 here it's funny that stan rules out from the start that his anti-ac position is due to him being an
00:46:52.180 ascetic uh luddite or miser because those would all be the only legitimate reasons to not use air
00:46:58.680 conditioning at least they're the closest thing to legitimate so if you have decided to practice
00:47:04.520 asceticism and you are swearing off earthly pleasures and physical comforts as part of some kind of um
00:47:11.260 you know a severe spiritual discipline and you're sweating your ass off in your own living room all
00:47:19.320 summer long as part of that process well i can respect that i'm not coming over to visit especially
00:47:25.760 not anytime between the months of may and october but i respect your commitment but those are not the
00:47:31.480 reasons why stan has rejected his air conditioning unit those are rarely the reasons why the anti-ac people
00:47:37.880 reject it so let's continue quote our bodies have grown so accustomed to climate controlled indoor spaces
00:47:43.940 set at a chilly 69 degrees that anything else can feel unbearable and the greenhouse gases created by the
00:47:50.000 roughly 90 percent of american households that own ac mean that's uh running them even in balmy temperatures is making the
00:47:56.160 climate crisis worse our species evolved biologically and culturally under wildly varying climatic conditions and we haven't
00:48:02.660 lost that ability to adapt research suggests that when we spend more time in warm or hot summer weather we could start
00:48:08.620 feeling comfortable at temperatures that once felt insufferable to keep us going through the rest of
00:48:12.700 the summer we rely on electric fans which consume only about two percent of the energy needed to air
00:48:16.940 condition one room they're not only free of the refrigerants they amplify air conditioning's contribution to
00:48:21.200 global warming they can also save you money so this is about stopping climate change as always this is why
00:48:28.080 stan and his family willingly choose to live inside an oven but they do have some alternative methods for
00:48:34.400 keeping cool he tells us quote we also kept other appliances and devices turned off as much as possible
00:48:40.340 because they too generate heat dishwashers are trouble uh putting out heat and humidity we don't have one
00:48:46.180 we can't unplug the refrigerator of course but we keep our set for just under 40 degrees the highest safe
00:48:51.400 temperature according to the fda and we dry our laundry in the clothesline out back when it gets too hot we
00:48:56.540 lightly spray water on our arms legs and faces the water helps dissipate a lot of heat a quick cold shower or a
00:49:02.640 little time spent with that all-american favorite the lawn sprinkler also can bring relief so this is
00:49:09.420 what stan is reduced to spraying himself with a water bottle like he's a misbehaving cat running through
00:49:16.460 the sprinkler just to stave off the heat exhaustion and to make matters worse he also deprives himself of
00:49:21.900 a dishwasher and a washing machine he has rejected he's rejected perhaps the three greatest household
00:49:30.840 inventions and he's rejected them for the dumbest imaginable reason not like a cool reason like he's
00:49:38.140 amish or even a practical reason like if he was broke but for the sake of the climate the stupidest
00:49:45.440 lamest least practical reason of all and look i take this sort of thing personally i admit because i am a
00:49:54.580 lifelong diehard fan of air conditioning i am basically the president of air conditioning's fan
00:50:00.740 club uh no pun intended there are few technological advances in human history that have been as
00:50:06.860 beneficial as air conditioning it has undoubtedly saved millions of lives over the years there's
00:50:12.360 actually been studies done on this for instance in the year 2019 alone according to one study air
00:50:17.100 conditioning was responsible for saving nearly 200 000 lives it's not difficult to see how that would be
00:50:21.540 the case but even aside from the lives saved the perhaps less urgent but still profoundly important
00:50:27.320 point is that it makes life markedly more enjoyable for hundreds of millions of people
00:50:31.860 few inventions have increased quality of life as significantly as air conditioning has it's it's an
00:50:39.720 invention so great that unlike so many other almost as great inventions it's nearly impossible to take for
00:50:47.400 granted so i admit that uh whenever i open my refrigerator or i get into my car i am not always
00:50:54.420 consciously grateful for the fact that refrigerators and cars exist even though i am grateful but every time
00:51:02.320 i walk into an air conditioned building on a hot day i always think to myself my god i'm so glad air
00:51:09.440 conditioning exists in fact the lack of air conditioning is the first reason that i would never want to take a
00:51:14.900 time machine back to the distant past where they didn't have air conditioning well that's the second
00:51:20.460 reason i guess the first reason is that time machines don't exist but the point is that air
00:51:24.100 conditioning is wonderful and that's exactly why people like stan leftists want to discourage you
00:51:30.340 from using it this is an ideology committed to making your life more miserable it actively seeks to
00:51:39.920 remove joy from existence now it does this at deeper and more serious levels demolishing the family
00:51:46.280 faith tradition national identity all of these being sources of meaning and therefore fulfillment and
00:51:51.320 therefore happiness but this agenda is enacted closer to the surface too don't eat meat it says
00:51:58.340 don't own your own home don't drive don't use gas stoves turn off your air conditioning
00:52:04.120 as i said if these forms of self-denial were being recommended as a means of discovering some
00:52:12.800 greater spiritual truth through suffering and deprivation i could respect it i wouldn't do it
00:52:19.480 but i'd respect it except that's not what's happening here this is the worst kind of suffering
00:52:25.100 this is suffering without meaning without purpose misery for misery's sake it's like being an ascetic
00:52:32.180 without the asceticism instead it's being replaced with some vague idea that these sacrifices will
00:52:40.060 save the climate or something but it's not going to do anything for the climate one way or another
00:52:45.560 and it's not really intended to this is an anti-human agenda environmentalism is just its glossy cover
00:52:53.940 underneath all of that is a seething hatred for humanity itself and that's why stan really turns
00:53:02.100 off his air conditioning and enjoins you to do the same and it's why you shouldn't and it's also why
00:53:07.440 stan is today canceled that'll do it for the show today thanks for watching thanks for listening talk
