The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1442 - Robin DiAngelo Freaks Out Over 'Am I Racist？' And It's Glorious

00:00:00.160 Republicans are Nazis. 1.00

00:00:01.640 You cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. 1.00

00:00:06.200 Growing up in the 90s, I never thought much about race. 0.96

00:00:09.040 Sure, you noticed, but never really

00:00:10.760 seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.

00:00:13.160 Being a white, straight, cisgender man,

00:00:15.120 it's the top of the pile.

00:00:16.360 I'm on the top of the pile.

00:00:17.280 That's me.

00:00:18.360 Am I racist?

00:00:19.720 I would really appreciate it if you left.

00:00:21.240 I'm trying to learn.

00:00:21.920 I'm on this journey.

00:00:22.480 Can you please leave?

00:00:24.440 I'm going to sort this out.

00:00:25.680 I need to go deeper undercover.

00:00:27.400 If I want to be an ally, I need to look like one.

00:00:30.000 What is racism?

00:00:37.080 Martin Luther King said not to judge people by the...

00:00:39.400 Martin Luther King said a lot of stuff.

00:00:41.400 Is America inherently racist?

00:00:43.160 What the hell is that?

00:00:44.000 The word inherent is challenging there. 0.99

00:00:46.560 America is racist to its bones. 0.95

00:00:48.520 All of the... 0.98

00:00:49.520 So inherently.

00:00:50.520 Yeah.

00:00:51.520 The entire system has to burn.

00:00:52.320 And I'm not going to even use save this country.

00:00:53.760 This country is not worth saving.

00:00:55.320 This country is a piece of...

00:00:58.640 Oh, sorry. 0.82

00:01:00.000 They going to say I'm racist.

00:01:02.080 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:01:06.080 Here's my certification.

00:01:07.080 Where are you guys in your anti-racist journeys?

00:01:09.400 So I'll look around the room and point to who we believe is the most racist person in the room.

00:01:16.080 We want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.

00:01:21.160 Would you mind signing it?

00:01:22.160 You will?

00:01:23.160 What do you think about this issue of heteronormativity and how it intersects with the broader structures of racism in society?

00:01:30.160 Oh.

00:01:31.160 They going to say I'm racist. 0.98

00:01:32.240 What's up with white people? 0.93

00:01:33.240 What are you doing to de-center your whiteness? 0.97

00:01:35.240 Who's making it the center?

00:01:36.240 Why are they doing that?

00:01:37.240 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. 0.71

00:01:41.240 This is more for you than this for you.

00:01:43.240 This is more for you than this for you.

00:01:44.240 Yeah.

00:01:45.240 Yeah.

00:01:46.240 White. 0.81

00:01:47.240 Folks. 1.00

00:01:48.240 Trash. 1.00

00:01:49.240 White supremacy. 1.00

00:01:50.240 White woman. 1.00

00:01:51.240 White boy.

00:01:52.240 White. 0.91

00:01:53.240 Entitlement.

00:01:54.240 Centering.

00:01:55.240 White. 0.81

00:01:56.240 Silence. 1.00

00:01:57.240 Racist.

00:01:58.240 But they call everybody racist.

00:02:00.240 Hi, Robin.

00:02:01.240 Hi.

00:02:02.240 And what's your name?

00:02:03.240 I'm Matt.

00:02:04.240 Matt.

00:02:05.240 Hi, Matt.

00:02:06.240 Nice to meet you.

00:02:07.240 I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.

00:02:10.240 Never be too careful.

00:02:11.240 They going to say you racist.

00:02:12.240 But they call everybody racist.

00:02:17.240 Today on the Matt Wall Show, my new film, MI Racist, premieres in theaters this weekend.

00:02:24.240 But shockingly, some of my co-stars in the film, the DEI grifters we expose, are not happy 0.87

00:02:30.240 about the movie.

00:02:31.240 They have come out to denounce it as Nazi propaganda, quote unquote, among other things.

00:02:35.240 We'll discuss that today.

00:02:36.240 Also, Donald Trump unveils a new tax plan as Kamala still refuses to unveil any plans

00:02:40.240 at all of any kind.

00:02:45.240 pitch.

00:02:46.240 We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:04:41.240 Today is the day that my new film, Am I Racist, releases in theaters nationwide.

00:04:46.240 This is the most significant moment in my own career, personally,

00:04:49.240 and a seminal achievement for all of the incredible people who worked on our film,

00:04:53.240 starting with our director, Justin Folk, our producers, Sean Hampton, Brian Hoffman, Benyon Capel, Dallas Sonier,

00:05:01.240 and of course, The Daily Wire and the executive team, Jeremy Boring, Caleb Robinson, John Lewis,

00:05:05.240 along with Ben Shapiro, who's an executive producer on the film,

00:05:08.240 one of the first people to see the original cut and give us notes on it.

00:05:12.240 This film would not be what it is now without every person that I listed and many others that I haven't listed.

00:05:18.240 I can't read through the whole list.

00:05:20.240 You'll have to watch the movie and stick around for the credits to see the entire list.

00:05:24.240 And by the way, you should stick around for the credits because, you know, this isn't a Marvel movie,

00:05:29.240 but we do have our own little post-credits scene that you don't want to miss.

00:05:33.240 Anyway, the point is that this film was incredibly ambitious from the start.

00:05:38.240 We knew what we wanted to do and what sort of movie we wanted to make,

00:05:41.240 but we had no idea if we could pull it off, especially given my, you know,

00:05:46.240 increased profile and notoriety from the success of What is a Woman?

00:05:50.240 And going out in that environment to try to do the same kind of film,

00:05:56.240 but actually to do it in a more ambitious way.

00:05:58.240 We were always a little bit unsure about how it would work.

00:06:01.240 And someday I can tell the whole story on how exactly we managed to navigate all of the landmines

00:06:07.240 and create the film that you can now watch in a theater near you.

00:06:10.240 I will say that it took significantly longer than I thought it would take to make

00:06:17.240 and was even more difficult than I imagined it would be.

00:06:21.240 When we finished filming, finally, about a year after we shot our first scene,

00:06:26.240 the Odyssey had only really just begun because now came the time to take this unwieldy mammoth of a thing

00:06:34.240 with all of its dozens of hours of raw footage and shape it into a cinematic narrative.

00:06:40.240 Unfortunately, we have a brilliant artist for an editor in Marshall Lee,

00:06:45.240 who made this painful process much easier than it had any right to be.

00:06:49.240 We also have Justin Folk, our director, who knows how to comb through footage and find the story.

00:06:54.240 He's brilliant at that.

00:06:56.240 We also spent many cumulative hours in the edit bay and in screening rooms with Jeremy,

00:07:02.240 discussing and debating every last detail of this thing.

00:07:07.240 It was a painstaking and sometimes necessarily painful creative collaboration,

00:07:14.240 but that's what's required to make something great.

00:07:16.240 And none of us were going to settle for anything less than what we consider to be great,

00:07:21.240 something that we could all be proud of and something that lives up to our previous film.

00:07:28.240 Sadly, though, not everyone involved in this film is proud of it, apparently.

00:07:36.240 Some of my co-stars, the people that I share the screen with, have demonstrated, if you can believe it,

00:07:42.240 some embarrassment about their role in the movie.

00:07:45.240 In fact, quite tragically, four of the DEI experts that I interviewed or featured in the film

00:07:52.240 have, in recent weeks, deleted their Twitter accounts.

00:07:57.240 And they've run away from social media.

00:08:01.240 A number of them have also denounced the movie in recent days.

00:08:03.240 Kate Slater, the anti-racist educator,

00:08:06.240 now infamous for discussing the racial implications of Disney princesses with me in the movie. 1.00

00:08:12.240 She posted on Instagram this week that the movie is a piece of shit 1.00

00:08:15.240 and she's going off the radar to avoid criticism from the angry white men 1.00

00:08:21.240 who might come and criticize her after the movie. 0.90

00:08:24.240 Meanwhile, one of the hosts of Race to Dinner,

00:08:27.240 Saira Rao, who's featured in one of the pivotal scenes of the film,

00:08:31.240 according to a report in the Post Millennial today,

00:08:34.240 condemned the movie during a Race to Dinner digital book club event recently.

00:08:38.240 She warned people not to see it.

00:08:41.240 She called it a fascist Nazi white supremacy film.

00:08:45.240 And she claimed that she was conned into being in the film. 0.63

00:08:48.240 As a con artist, of course, herself, she knows a lot about, you know, being conned.

00:08:54.240 Though apparently not enough to avoid it happening to her.

00:08:57.240 If we did con her, which of course we did not for the record,

00:09:00.240 we simply gave her an opportunity to appear in our documentary about anti-racism.

00:09:05.240 And that's an opportunity that she was eager to take advantage of.

00:09:10.240 And we did, in fact, make a documentary about anti-racism.

00:09:14.240 We did exactly what we said.

00:09:16.240 No conning involved.

00:09:18.240 I mean, how could Saira Rao accuse me of being a con artist?

00:09:23.240 Who does Saira Rao think I am? Saira Rao?

00:09:26.240 Finally, just yesterday, Robin DiAngelo issued a statement.

00:09:30.240 And it's lengthy.

00:09:32.240 It is also everything that you'd want from Robin DiAngelo, from a Robin DiAngelo statement.

00:09:38.240 Posted to her website on Thursday, her statement is titled,

00:09:41.240 About that film, dot, dot, dot.

00:09:44.240 And here's what she says in part.

00:09:46.240 Quote,

00:09:47.240 Back in 2023, I was contacted by a group who claimed to be making a documentary film

00:09:51.240 called Shades of Justice, about efforts to address racism in the United States.

00:09:56.240 They plan to interview anti-racist activists, authors, and thought leaders

00:10:00.240 in service of supporting the cause of racial equity.

00:10:02.240 They offered me between $10,000 and $20,000 for an interview.

00:10:05.240 I said, let's meet in the middle with $15,000.

00:10:08.240 And I agreed to participate.

00:10:09.240 I have since donated that sum to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

00:10:13.240 Now, side note here, Shades of Justice is, in fact, one of the organizational names that we used, you know,

00:10:20.240 while we were making this film.

00:10:22.240 What does Shades of Justice mean?

00:10:25.240 It doesn't really mean anything, but we figured it's the kind of meaningless name that would resonate with the woke crowd.

00:10:31.240 And it did.

00:10:32.240 I also say that I appreciate Robin's generosity in meeting in the middle with just $15,000.

00:10:39.240 She really gave us a deal.

00:10:40.240 You see, it was a bargain.

00:10:41.240 We talked to her for about two hours, 15 grand, about, you know, a little over $7,000 an hour.

00:10:47.240 She's very generous of her to only charge us that much.

00:10:52.240 She continues, quote, when I arrived for the interview, a few things fell off.

00:10:57.240 The grips would not make eye contact with me.

00:10:59.240 And the interviewer, who was introduced as Matt, appeared to be wearing an ill-fitting wig.

00:11:04.240 Now, let's stop here again, Robin.

00:11:08.240 First of all, the wig fit very well.

00:11:11.240 That was a nice wig.

00:11:13.240 That was an authentic wig.

00:11:14.240 It was made from real human hair.

00:11:16.240 I harvested the hair myself from a homeless guy in exchange for a Snickers bar and a bottle of Jack Daniels.

00:11:23.240 Second, more to the point, you claim that you noticed I was wearing a wig the moment you sat down, and yet you still did the interview?

00:11:31.240 In your version of events, okay, the crew was nervous and shifty, which they weren't, but this is what you're saying.

00:11:38.240 And you come in, you see that, you sit down, there's some guy sitting there with an ill-fitting wig.

00:11:44.240 Things felt off.

00:11:47.240 Yet, Robin, you still sat there and talked to me on camera for two hours.

00:11:53.240 Whose fault is that?

00:11:56.240 If what you say is true, then we can only conclude that you were willing to do anything just for the money.

00:12:02.240 Which is basically the whole point of the movie.

00:12:05.240 So thank you for emphasizing the point for us.

00:12:08.240 Reading on quote, Matt presented himself as someone new to anti-racist work and seemed earnest, and his questions did not come across as adversarial.

00:12:16.240 By the end, however, things got weird.

00:12:18.240 Matt asked what I thought about reparations for black Americans.

00:12:21.240 I said that I agreed with reparations, but that it was not my area of expertise.

00:12:25.240 He then pulled up a chair and invited a black crew member who went by Ben to sit down with us, took out his wallet, and handed Ben some cash.

00:12:32.240 He said that if I believed in reparations, I should also give Ben cash.

00:12:35.240 While some black people have asked white people to engage in reparations by giving directly to individuals, reparations are generally understood as a systemic approach to past and current injustice.

00:12:43.240 The way Matt set this up felt intended to put Ben and I on the spot.

00:12:47.240 Because Matt was pushing this on us, I expressed my discomfort and checked in with Ben to be sure that he was okay with receiving cash in this way.

00:12:54.240 Ben reassured me that he was, so I went to my wallet and handed him my cash, and the interview ended.

00:13:00.240 Okay, so let's back up here and review again your version of events, Robin.

00:13:06.240 Robin, you walked into the room to do an interview with an organization that you knew very little about.

00:13:12.240 Things felt off, you say. The interviewer was wearing a strange wig.

00:13:16.240 Then the interviewer in this wig forces a black man to sit down and receive cash reparations.

00:13:22.240 You felt like the whole thing was a setup and intended to put you on the spot, but you still paid the reparations.

00:13:28.240 Even in spite of all that, you still paid. That's your defense. That's what you're saying.

00:13:34.240 Now, as for me, I don't want to give spoilers away for the film.

00:13:38.240 I don't care how many times some of these spoilers have been reported by the media.

00:13:42.240 I refuse on principle to officially confirm the legitimacy of any of the spoilers.

00:13:48.240 Everybody will have to go to the theater this weekend to watch Am I a Racist for themselves and see what exactly happens. 0.99

00:13:54.240 But if what you say is true, if it is true, then it would seem to make you not only a fool, but a money-grubbing grifter. 0.99

00:14:06.240 Which again is sort of the whole point of the film. 0.98

00:14:08.240 I will say that your assumption that my black friend, Ben, was manipulated into taking part in this alleged reparations exercise is quite demeaning and infantilizing to him. 0.85

00:14:20.240 No great shock coming from the woman who demeans and infantilizes black people for a living. 1.00

00:14:24.240 If this reparations thing actually did happen, as you claim, how do you know Ben was not a willing participant?

00:14:32.240 In fact, how do you know that he wasn't forcing me to do it?

00:14:36.240 Maybe I'm the innocent victim in all this. Have you thought about that, Robin?

00:14:40.240 Continuing on, she says, after reviewing the sequence of events and discussing it with colleagues, I realized that they had lied about their agenda and I had been played.

00:14:47.240 I spread the word on my networks. Unfortunately, last month I started receiving hateful and misogynistic emails.

00:14:52.240 Some reference the Daily Wire, Ben Shapiro's website, which announced that the film is indeed being released.

00:14:58.240 It's not titled Shades of Justice, nor is it meant to support the anti-racist cause.

00:15:02.240 It is a Borat-style mockumentary titled Am I Racist and designed to humiliate and discredit anti-racist educators and activists.

00:15:10.240 Their deception was carefully planned and well-funded. The interviewer was in fact Matt Walsh, a far-right provocateur,

00:15:16.240 backed by Shapiro and Daily Wire Plus, and yes, wearing a wig.

00:15:20.240 Am I Racist is not only about me, and I was not the only one who fell for their deception.

00:15:24.240 Sadly, many of those being mocked are women of color. 1.00

00:15:27.240 I've not seen the film, nor do I plan to watch it, so I don't know how they have used any of my interview or how they've edited it.

00:15:33.240 But if you see clips of the full film, consider the source, Matt Walsh.

00:15:37.240 So, who is Matt Walsh and what is his and his backer's agenda?

00:15:40.240 Luckily for us, he has clearly answered that question without shame time and time again.

00:15:45.240 She then goes on to quote and provide a link to Southern Poverty Law Center's hit piece on me.

00:15:50.240 They say that I'm a white supremacist shock jock, etc.

00:15:55.240 All in all, much of what she says about me and the Daily Wire and our film is not true,

00:16:03.240 especially when she claims that our film was well-funded.

00:16:06.240 In fact, this was a very low-budget operation, at least by Hollywood standards.

00:16:10.240 Borat, which she compares our film to, had a budget of around $18 million 20 years ago.

00:16:16.240 Our budget was about 16% of that.

00:16:21.240 Now, from a quality perspective, the film does look much more expensive than it is, credit to our crew and production team,

00:16:31.240 which is maybe what Robin DiAngelo was picking up on.

00:16:34.240 And, you know, I appreciate, once again, the compliment.

00:16:36.240 She is, though, completely correct about one thing.

00:16:40.240 She says that our intentions are to humiliate and discredit anti-racist educators and activists.

00:16:47.240 And on that point, she could not be more right.

00:16:49.240 That is, in fact, our agenda with this film.

00:16:52.240 We have other things we want to do, too.

00:16:54.240 We want to entertain you.

00:16:55.240 We want to make you laugh.

00:16:56.240 We want to prove that conservatives can successfully make a film like this.

00:17:00.240 The kind of film that, until now, only liberals like Sacha Baron Cohen have pulled off or even attempted.

00:17:05.240 We have many things we wish to achieve with this movie.

00:17:09.240 But most of all, yes, we want to expose the so-called anti-racist movement. 0.79

00:17:14.240 We want to humiliate and discredit these grifters. 1.00

00:17:18.240 Or I should say, really, we want to give them an opportunity to humiliate and discredit themselves. 0.94

00:17:26.240 That's what we're actually doing.

00:17:28.240 And that is an opportunity that Robin DiAngelo took full advantage of, quite eagerly.

00:17:34.240 She only has herself to blame.

00:17:37.240 And you can see it for yourself, and you really need to see this for yourself.

00:17:42.240 Because I can tell you one thing.

00:17:44.240 If you've read the descriptions, I can tell you it is so much worse for her than it even sounds in the descriptions.

00:17:51.240 And you can see that all for yourself right now in theaters.

00:17:55.240 You really don't want to miss it.

00:17:57.240 Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:19:17.240 Before we move on, I just have to say, to emphasize here, the double standard.

00:19:22.240 You know, we've been criticized a lot by the left, including, as we heard, some of the people in the film.

00:19:29.240 Some of my co-stars, who, by the way, I, you know, I thought they'd be really proud of our film that we made together.

00:19:38.240 Um, I thought it was a thrill working with, with all of my co-stars, Robin D'Angelo, Cyra Rao, Kate Slater.

00:19:44.240 Um, and I thought that we really bonded.

00:19:48.240 I thought we had, uh, I thought that we, we shared, you know, that time together.

00:19:52.240 And we were, I thought, I thought we were best friends forever.

00:19:55.240 I thought we were biffs.

00:19:56.240 That's what I, that's what I've been going around telling everybody. 0.99

00:19:58.240 So, what, what a fool I am now. 1.00

00:20:02.240 How foolish do I look? 0.98

00:20:03.240 I've been telling everyone that Robin D'Angelo is my friend. 0.98

00:20:06.240 We had a great moment together.

00:20:08.240 Uh, we really had a breakthrough moment.

00:20:10.240 And then to have her coming out and denouncing the film.

00:20:14.240 It's just, it's heartbreaking.

00:20:17.240 Anyway.

00:20:18.240 Uh, so these, uh, these people have been, and many others on the left have criticized the film.

00:20:25.240 Uh, for, you know, for a lot of reasons, but primarily for the methods we use to make the film.

00:20:34.240 And, and also the methods we use for, uh, to make our last film.

00:20:39.240 They say that it's deceptive and it's unethical and it's wrong and all of that.

00:20:43.240 But you notice that all the people on the left saying that about me and my movies, none of them say it about Sacha Baron Cohen.

00:20:52.240 But Sacha Baron Cohen with Borat and his other characters uses the same kinds of methods.

00:20:58.240 And the difference is that he is usually trying to embarrass normal working class Americans.

00:21:04.240 That's his target.

00:21:06.240 In the first Borat film, which is hilarious.

00:21:09.240 And I loved the movie.

00:21:10.240 It's a, it's undeniably hysterical movie.

00:21:14.240 But he completely humiliates a bunch of working class people who haven't done anything wrong.

00:21:21.240 In fact, often these are nice people trying to be polite and accommodating to someone who they see as this kind of this hapless foreigner. 1.00

00:21:30.240 And, uh, and for that, they, they've been just like eternally embarrassed in this, uh, what's now become this sort of iconic film.

00:21:42.240 Or think about, think about Nathan Fielder.

00:21:45.240 Now, again, I think Nathan Fielder is hilarious and brilliant.

00:21:48.240 It will not surprise you to learn that his style of humor is right up my alley.

00:21:51.240 And, uh, I'm sure he probably hates my guts because I'm assuming he's extremely liberal.

00:21:55.240 I don't know.

00:21:56.240 I've just assumed that.

00:21:57.240 Um, but, and that's fine.

00:22:00.240 I think he's funny, but with his shows, who is he targeting again?

00:22:04.240 Average Americans, his show, Nathan for you, hysterically funny.

00:22:08.240 But the truth is that he's making a mockery out of small business owners who are just trying to make a living.

00:22:14.240 I mean, in some cases, doing things with these business owners, like misleading them in a direction that would destroy their business.

00:22:21.240 These are like just normal people.

00:22:23.240 They have businesses, they have families.

00:22:25.240 These probably really harm them and, and even ruin their lives in some cases.

00:22:30.240 And yet all that can happen.

00:22:32.240 And virtually nobody, especially on the left, raises any ethical concerns about it whatsoever.

00:22:38.240 And then in our case, we're doing a similar kind of thing.

00:22:44.240 But we're actually punching up.

00:22:47.240 With this film and the last, we're going after academics, so-called experts, DEI grifters, con artists, and in general, upper class liberals.

00:22:58.240 Okay.

00:22:59.240 Um, there are a few scenes in our film, in this, in the latest film, Am I Racist?

00:23:06.240 We're featuring normal working class people.

00:23:08.240 We do go into some low income areas, uh, to talk to people who are, um, uh, working class or even lower than that on the income, uh, ladder.

00:23:22.240 But in those scenes, as you'll see when you watch the movie, I'm the butt of the joke.

00:23:28.240 And we were very intentional about that.

00:23:30.240 I said this many times all throughout shooting.

00:23:32.240 This was like a, a mantra as we were shooting it.

00:23:35.240 That, that I said that if we do any scenes with normal, good, nice people, uh, I need to be the butt of the joke in those scenes.

00:23:44.240 I'm not trying to embarrass normal people or just trying to live their lives.

00:23:47.240 I'm not, I don't want to trap them into saying anything that's going to make them look bad.

00:23:51.240 I don't want to do that.

00:23:53.240 Uh, because I'm, we actually do have ethical sensibilities when we're making a movie like this.

00:24:00.240 So if anyone is going to be the butt of the joke in my films, it's either going to be me for the comedic effect, or it's going to be these people who are, again, so-called experts.

00:24:17.240 Getting, you know, many of them worth millions of dollars, getting paid thousands of dollars just for, you know, to do seminars and whatever.

00:24:24.240 And, and the kinds of people, the kinds of people who can charge thousands of dollars to be interviewed.

00:24:29.240 Okay.

00:24:30.240 Those kinds of people.

00:24:32.240 Or, or again, upper class liberal types, uh, who, who are not, who are never skewered in, in, in films like this.

00:24:43.240 So that's who we're good.

00:24:45.240 That's punching up.

00:24:46.240 Okay.

00:24:47.240 I'm not even, I'm a podcaster with no college education.

00:24:52.240 I'm a community college dropout podcaster.

00:24:56.240 And I'm going into rooms with people with PhDs.

00:25:01.240 All right.

00:25:02.240 So if that's not punching up, I don't know what is.

00:25:06.240 And based on what the left would say about me, they'd expect that like, I would be easily humiliated by these people.

00:25:12.240 How could I even trap them?

00:25:14.240 Right. 1.00

00:25:15.240 I'm a moron compared to them. 1.00

00:25:16.240 I'm uneducated. 1.00

00:25:17.240 Right.

00:25:18.240 I'm, I'm just, uh, I, I, that's what they would say.

00:25:22.240 So they should have nothing to worry about.

00:25:25.240 I mean, I, I should, how could I possibly, how could I possibly embarrass these people?

00:25:29.240 How could I trick them into doing anything?

00:25:32.240 How could I manipulate them?

00:25:33.240 How could I do that?

00:25:35.240 These are brilliant experts.

00:25:38.240 So it's interesting that that's so, you know, a, a, a Hollywood multimillionaire celebrity making a movie where he's tricking and embarrassing, you know, working class people who make $30,000 a year.

00:25:53.240 That's not unethical.

00:25:55.240 But a, but a community college dropout podcaster may be embarrassing millionaires and PhD level people.

00:26:05.240 That is unethical.

00:26:06.240 Huh?

00:26:07.240 Okay.

00:26:08.240 Strange how that works.

00:26:10.240 All right, let's take a look at this.

00:26:14.240 Trump announced a new tax plan, um, or a new plan, uh, related to taxes, uh, that, that, uh, I think is interesting. Watch this.

00:26:25.240 I'm also announcing that as part of our additional tax cuts, we will end all taxes on overtime.

00:26:33.240 You know what that means?

00:26:34.240 Think of that.

00:26:38.240 Think of that.

00:26:39.240 Think of that.

00:26:45.240 Think of that.

00:26:50.240 That gives people more of an incentive to work.

00:26:55.240 It gives the companies a lot.

00:26:57.240 It's a lot easier to get the people.

00:26:59.240 And, you know, I went to some economists, great ones.

00:27:02.240 And I said, what do you think?

00:27:03.240 They said, it would be unbelievable.

00:27:04.240 You'll get a whole new workforce by doing that.

00:27:07.240 No taxes on overtime.

00:27:13.240 The people who work overtime are among the hardest working citizens in our country.

00:27:18.240 And for too long, no one in Washington has been looking out for them.

00:27:21.240 Those are the people.

00:27:22.240 They really work.

00:27:24.240 They're police officers, nurses, factory workers, construction workers, truck drivers,

00:27:29.240 and machine operators.

00:27:31.240 It's time for the working man and woman to finally catch a break. 0.97

00:27:35.240 And that's what we're doing because this is a good one.

00:27:38.240 And I think it's going to be great for the country.

00:27:41.240 So that's why we will be saying that if you're an overtime worker when you're past 40 hours a week,

00:27:49.240 think of that, your overtime hours will be tax free.

00:27:53.240 Okay.

00:27:54.240 Good.

00:27:55.240 You're going to have it.

00:27:56.240 So, it's a good idea.

00:28:00.240 That's the first thing.

00:28:01.240 Anything, you know, that involves people paying fewer taxes, I'm generally in favor of.

00:28:06.240 As long as it's fair.

00:28:07.240 As long as it's across the board.

00:28:08.240 You know, in this case, anyone working overtime hours doesn't have to pay taxes on it.

00:28:12.240 And that's fair.

00:28:13.240 That's a benefit being granted across the board to anyone who works these hours.

00:28:16.240 And that's a great idea.

00:28:18.240 And it's a plan that will directly and immediately benefit millions of people.

00:28:23.240 Those are the kinds of plans I like.

00:28:26.240 And benefit them by giving them more access to their own money.

00:28:31.240 Right?

00:28:32.240 Letting them.

00:28:33.240 We're not giving them money.

00:28:34.240 We're not.

00:28:35.240 This is not a welfare program.

00:28:36.240 We're not taking from others and giving.

00:28:37.240 It's not redistribution.

00:28:39.240 It's just we're going to let you keep your own money.

00:28:41.240 This is your money.

00:28:42.240 You keep more of it.

00:28:43.240 That's the plan I like.

00:28:44.240 Okay?

00:28:45.240 You want to help.

00:28:46.240 You want to help people.

00:28:47.240 You want to help middle class Americans.

00:28:49.240 All class, you know, Americans of all classes.

00:28:52.240 I think the number one way you help them, help us, is by letting us keep our own money.

00:29:01.240 That's it.

00:29:02.240 It's not even help.

00:29:04.240 Right?

00:29:05.240 That's not help.

00:29:06.240 You can't even call that help.

00:29:08.240 You're not helping me by saying, oh, that's your own money.

00:29:10.240 You can keep it.

00:29:11.240 That's not help.

00:29:13.240 That's more, you are refraining from sabotaging me.

00:29:19.240 You know?

00:29:20.240 It's like if somebody was going to run up and rob you on the street corner and decides not

00:29:24.240 to at the last minute.

00:29:27.240 Right?

00:29:28.240 He can't expect you to say thank you.

00:29:32.240 All he did was not rob you, which he shouldn't have done to begin with.

00:29:35.240 So, but then notice how it works with, if you have a plan, plans from Democrats where

00:29:42.240 they are supposedly going to help you.

00:29:44.240 How does that work?

00:29:46.240 Well, it's always like, okay, well, we'll start with this program and we'll put a bunch

00:29:51.240 of money into the program.

00:29:52.240 And then the program will have these initiatives and the initiatives will lead to proposals

00:29:57.240 and those proposals will be considered.

00:29:59.240 And if they're approved, the proposals will be adopted by committees and blah, blah, blah,

00:30:02.240 and on and on.

00:30:04.240 Nobody even experiences the actual benefit.

00:30:07.240 Nobody outside of the government, that is.

00:30:09.240 And if anyone does experience the benefit, it's always, again, going to be other people's 0.73

00:30:14.240 money going to them.

00:30:15.240 It's always, so you're just, all they're really doing is kind of spreading the problem

00:30:20.240 around.

00:30:21.240 But this is very simple and direct.

00:30:23.240 Get rid of the taxes on overtime, work overtime, you keep a lot more of your own money.

00:30:27.240 And if you pass that law and millions of Americans, millions of Americans will feel the impact

00:30:32.240 of it immediately.

00:30:34.240 And you could contrast this with Kamala, who actually hasn't even told us any of her policies.

00:30:46.240 So Trump is out every, you know, three days it feels like with a new policy proposal that

00:30:51.240 he throws out there.

00:30:53.240 Meanwhile, Kamala is, has not even given us the vague outlines of what kind of policies

00:30:59.240 she wants to put in place when she's in power. 1.00

00:31:02.240 So the contrast is very striking.

00:31:07.240 All right.

00:31:08.240 Fox News has this report.

00:31:10.240 American gymnast Jordan Childs couldn't hold back tears in her first interview about the

00:31:14.240 retraction of her Olympic medal.

00:31:16.240 The 23-year-old Olympian, nicknamed Chick, was embroiled in one of the biggest scandals

00:31:20.240 of the Paris games when she won bronze in the women's floor exercises after American

00:31:26.240 coaches asked officials to review a score.

00:31:28.240 Romania's Anna Barbasou initially finished with a higher score than Childs.

00:31:33.240 Once the American finished her routine and judges reviewed the footage, changed the score 0.99

00:31:36.240 and bumped Childs up to third place, sparking the initial controversy and fierce backlash

00:31:40.240 from Romanians.

00:31:42.240 Then on the last day of the Olympics, the Court of Arbitration for Sports ruled that the Childs'

00:31:46.240 appeal was submitted past the one minute deadline and changed her score to drop her back into 0.99

00:31:50.240 fifth place.

00:31:51.240 The next day on August 11th, the International Olympic Committee determined that Childs must

00:31:54.240 return the medal.

00:31:55.240 Childs gave her first sit-down interview about the incident this week during a panel at the

00:31:59.240 Forbes Power Women's Summit 2024 on Wednesday.

00:32:02.240 She said, quote, to me, everything that has gone on is not about the medal.

00:32:05.240 It's about, you know, my skin color.

00:32:08.240 Childs previously claimed that she was facing racially driven attacks from social media users

00:32:12.240 and a statement posted to X on August 15th.

00:32:16.240 When Childs won the bronze medal, it resulted in the first gymnastics podium in Olympic history 0.90

00:32:20.240 that featured three black contestants.

00:32:22.240 Quote, it's about the fact that there were things that have led up to this position of

00:32:26.240 being an athlete and I felt like everything has been stripped.

00:32:29.240 Okay, so it's racism.

00:32:32.240 They're taking the medal away because the mistake was made and that's racism.

00:32:36.240 Remember, there were actually two Romanian gymnasts that were robbed initially.

00:32:40.240 Childs actually needs to return her medal twice because there are two other gymnasts who rightfully 1.00

00:32:47.240 finished ahead of her.

00:32:48.240 There's the one mentioned in the article and then there's another one that was penalized

00:32:54.240 for stepping out of bounds even though she didn't.

00:32:56.240 A replay clearly, absolutely, incontrovertibly shows that she did not step out of bounds

00:33:01.240 but she got a penalty anyway. 0.89

00:33:03.240 And if she had not gotten that penalty, then she would have been in third place. 0.91

00:33:09.240 Which means, again, that Childs did not win the bronze.

00:33:14.240 She doesn't deserve it.

00:33:15.240 She didn't win it.

00:33:16.240 That's it.

00:33:17.240 It's not hers. 0.67

00:33:18.240 It's not yours, Jordan.

00:33:19.240 That's it.

00:33:20.240 But she refuses to give it back because she made history with the all black podium. 0.86

00:33:25.240 And that's all that should matter, apparently.

00:33:28.240 So yeah, that's the irony, of course, is that she says that the criticism is about her skin color. 0.93

00:33:32.240 It isn't.

00:33:33.240 Nobody cares about that.

00:33:34.240 No one's talking about that.

00:33:36.240 The only person talking about her skin color is her.

00:33:39.240 So she says that they're saying she should give it back because she's black, 0.90

00:33:43.240 but really she's saying she shouldn't give it back because she's black. 0.92

00:33:47.240 So she's the one making it about her race.

00:33:50.240 This is something that I've talked about a lot while doing interviews for the movie Am I Racist,

00:33:53.240 coming out today, amiracist.com, to get tickets.

00:33:58.240 I've talked about the framework, right?

00:34:00.240 We all have a framework.

00:34:01.240 Your ideology, your belief system, your principles, your faith, that's your framework.

00:34:07.240 That's the scaffolding.

00:34:10.240 Or maybe it's an even better metaphor, really, is to say that all that stuff is your lens.

00:34:15.240 So that's the lens that you look out at the world with.

00:34:20.240 You see everything through that lens.

00:34:23.240 And however that lens is tinted, that's how the world is going to be tinted.

00:34:28.240 There's no way around that, by the way.

00:34:29.240 Nobody sees the world in a truly objective way.

00:34:31.240 Nobody's looking out at the world and actually seeing the world exactly as it is.

00:34:36.240 Which isn't to say that the world isn't exactly one way or another.

00:34:39.240 It isn't to say that we all have our own truth.

00:34:41.240 I'm not saying that.

00:34:43.240 There's only one truth.

00:34:45.240 There is an objective reality that we all are a part of.

00:34:49.240 But our ability to see and understand the objective reality is not perfect

00:34:54.240 because we are flawed, fallible creatures.

00:34:56.240 We are apt to get confused about things, to be mistaken, to think that things are true when they aren't,

00:35:03.240 to be biased, to engage in wishful thinking, and all that sort of stuff.

00:35:07.240 And everybody's lens can get a little scuffed, a little bit dirty and blurry,

00:35:12.240 and it makes it harder for you to see what's actually happening in the world.

00:35:15.240 That's part of being a human being.

00:35:16.240 We're not God.

00:35:17.240 God sees everything all the time exactly as it is.

00:35:21.240 We do not.

00:35:22.240 So, back to Jordan Childs.

00:35:24.240 She has the lens of left-wing racial ideology. 0.99

00:35:27.240 That is her lens.

00:35:28.240 She sees everything through that lens.

00:35:30.240 She is actually incapable of separating it from anything that happens to her.

00:35:34.240 Any misfortune she suffers is understood automatically through this lens.

00:35:39.240 This is what it filters through.

00:35:46.240 Those of us who don't have that lens, it's what makes it so hard for us to understand how she can see the world that way.

00:35:54.240 And what's really hard for us to understand is this.

00:35:58.240 It never even occurred to Jordan Childs that she lost the bronze medal for reasons other than her race.

00:36:07.240 I can tell you right now, she has not even paused for a second to think,

00:36:12.240 huh, I wonder if maybe this is just happening because it's an unfortunate thing and it's got nothing to do with the fact that I'm black.

00:36:17.240 She hasn't thought that for a second.

00:36:19.240 Not a second.

00:36:21.240 Right?

00:36:22.240 The moment she got word that she had to give the medal back, immediately, first thought, first and only thought is,

00:36:27.240 it's because I'm black.

00:36:29.240 Race has to play a part in her world. 0.87

00:36:32.240 It has to be the fundamental reason why this bad thing happened to her because it's the fundamental reason why any bad thing happens to her because that is the lens. 0.99

00:36:42.240 That's how she sees the world.

00:36:44.240 All right.

00:36:45.240 One other thing.

00:36:46.240 This is a funny moment on CNN where the anchor Erin Burnett learns about Kamala's positions in real time.

00:36:53.240 And, well, you just got to look at her reaction.

00:36:56.240 So in 2019, in what K-File found, she said she would cut funding to ICE.

00:37:02.240 Writing, quote,

00:37:03.240 Our immigrant detention system is out of control and I believe we must end the unfair incarceration of thousands of individuals, families and children.

00:37:10.240 I was one of the first senators after President Trump was elected to advocate for a decrease in funding to ICE.

00:37:17.240 Well, now, of course, she's touting the Biden administration's executive order to crack down on the border.

00:37:22.240 K-Files Andrew Kaczynski joins me now.

00:37:24.240 Andrew, that's pretty incredible on its own when you're talking about what you found here on ICE.

00:37:29.240 What else did you find?

00:37:30.240 Yeah.

00:37:31.240 And this was a questionnaire that she filled out for the ACLU.

00:37:34.240 And this questionnaire is really an interesting snapshot in time of that 2019 Democratic primary.

00:37:40.240 Kamala Harris was trying to get to the left of Bernie Sanders. 0.99

00:37:43.240 She was trying to get to the left of Elizabeth Warren. 0.99

00:37:46.240 And you really see that in a lot of these answers.

00:37:48.240 And I want to walk our viewers through a little bit of what she said.

00:37:51.240 Let's just take immigration and look at what she said here.

00:37:54.240 She said on immigration she made this open ended pledge to end immigrant detention.

00:37:59.240 She said she supported taxpayer funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants.

00:38:04.240 She also said taxpayer funded gender transition surgeries for detained migrants.

00:38:08.240 She actually said she supported.

00:38:10.240 She wrote both wrote and answered in the affirmative when she was asked this.

00:38:15.240 And she said she also supported it for federal prisoners.

00:38:18.240 Now, she also pledged to slash immigration detention by 50 percent, close all family and private facilities,

00:38:24.240 and decrease funding for ICE and then end ICE detainers with local law enforcement.

00:38:31.240 I mean, these are things that, you know, it would be hard to think that you would come up with taxpayer funding,

00:38:36.240 gender transitions for detained migrants.

00:38:39.240 And yet this, as you say, written and verbally.

00:38:43.240 So she she's she's she's shocked.

00:38:47.240 You know, she actually said that. 0.61

00:38:50.240 She said that she wants to give sex change operations to, you know, illegal migrants.

00:38:57.240 Yes, she did. 0.91

00:38:59.240 Yes, Aaron.

00:39:00.240 This is leftism.

00:39:02.240 This is your ideology.

00:39:03.240 Welcome to it.

00:39:04.240 Welcome to your own ideology.

00:39:06.240 And, you know, the thing is that leftists for a very long time have.

00:39:13.240 They have benefited really from. 0.55

00:39:16.240 The fact that their own ideas are so insane.

00:39:19.240 You know, they they benefit from that.

00:39:25.240 We're seeing a similar thing play out right now with their with the eating dogs and cats thing.

00:39:30.240 And, you know, Springfield.

00:39:32.240 Where leftist ideas are so crazy.

00:39:38.240 That and and oftentimes the results of their ideas, the results of their policies also so crazy.

00:39:45.240 That we sound insane just for repeating them.

00:39:50.240 And this is the game that they play all the time.

00:39:53.240 And they're doing this now with Kamala Harris, especially with things that she said, you know, not all that long ago, things that she said four or five years ago.

00:40:01.240 The last time she ran for president. 0.98

00:40:03.240 They're doing the same thing. 0.87

00:40:06.240 Where if we say, well, you know, Kamala Harris, she wants to give sex change operations to illegal immigrants. 1.00

00:40:14.240 Right.

00:40:15.240 They scoff at us.

00:40:16.240 Yeah.

00:40:17.240 OK, weirdo.

00:40:18.240 Well, how are we weird?

00:40:20.240 She's the one who said it.

00:40:21.240 We're just telling you what she said.

00:40:23.240 I agree.

00:40:24.240 It's insane.

00:40:25.240 It's a crazy thing.

00:40:26.240 It's completely deranged.

00:40:28.240 It's bizarre.

00:40:29.240 Yes, it's all of those things.

00:40:32.240 But we we we're tell that she said it.

00:40:35.240 We're just repeating what she said.

00:40:38.240 So this is the game.

00:40:40.240 This is it's classic gaslighting.

00:40:42.240 Right.

00:40:43.240 Classic gaslighting.

00:40:44.240 They they do the crazy thing.

00:40:48.240 We point to it and say, oh, geez, that's look at that crazy thing over there.

00:40:55.240 And then suddenly we're the it's we're the crazy ones as if we are the ones who are responsible for it.

00:41:02.240 And.

00:41:04.240 And they get away with it often.

00:41:06.240 Because the people who are not politically in attuned or who are not paying attention that closely, which is which is most people.

00:41:17.240 To those people.

00:41:20.240 It's again, it's so crazy that they just assume that we're making it up.

00:41:24.240 So they're doing the same.

00:41:27.240 I mean, we can think of a million examples.

00:41:29.240 Same thing with the so-called so-called quote unquote book bans in places like Florida.

00:41:36.240 Well, what's the left doing there?

00:41:38.240 They're they're trying to put gay pornographic material in elementary schools. 0.70

00:41:43.240 And some states have said, no, you can't do that. 0.50

00:41:48.240 No, we're not going to.

00:41:50.240 No, we schools are not places where we just provide every book that's ever been written.

00:41:56.240 Right. We only a relative few books are going to be available in an elementary school or assigned in the curriculum.

00:42:05.240 Right. Millions of books have been written in the history of human civilization.

00:42:09.240 Almost none of them are going to be in the school, but they can't all be there.

00:42:15.240 So we're going to choose.

00:42:16.240 We choose which books are in the school.

00:42:18.240 This is what we've done since forever. 0.94

00:42:21.240 And we're not going to choose to put gay pornography in the schools. 0.79

00:42:25.240 The most normal position a person could possibly have on something is that no gay pornography schools. 0.98

00:42:32.240 But the left takes advantage of the ignorance of the average voter. 0.87

00:42:37.240 So that when we say no gay pornography in the schools. 0.98

00:42:42.240 They said, what is gay pornography in the schools? 0.99

00:42:45.240 OK, weirdo. 0.99

00:42:47.240 You're the one putting it in there.

00:42:50.240 You literally you are advocating for putting it. 0.98

00:42:53.240 We this is gay pornographic material that you are putting in the schools. 0.97

00:42:57.240 You're doing that. 0.97

00:42:58.240 But the average the average voter sees it and they just don't believe it.

00:43:01.240 They said, no, come on.

00:43:03.240 No one's putting pornographic material in elementary schools.

00:43:08.240 Come on, that's not happening.

00:43:10.240 And that's how they get away with it.

00:43:16.240 Because their agenda is so deranged, so corrupt, so evil, so far beyond the bounds of normalcy and decency that it just sounds unbelievable.

00:43:28.240 And as we just saw in that clip there, it sounds unbelievable even to some people on the left.

00:43:36.240 People who are paying attention to news, people who are making, who are reporting on the news.

00:43:41.240 It sounds unbelievable even to them.

00:43:43.240 So what does that tell you?

00:44:42.100 The wait is over.

00:44:42.960 Today is the day, The Daily Wire's first ever theatrical release.

00:44:45.360 Am I Racist is now playing in over 1,500 theaters across the nation.

00:44:49.100 You heard that right.

00:44:49.820 Over 1,500 theaters coast to coast are showing Am I Racist.

00:44:54.500 The demand has been nothing short of shocking to the movie industry.

00:44:57.960 Theaters were selling out during pre-sale, something that very rarely happens.

00:45:01.500 Well, with your help, we're proving Hollywood wrong and taking on the left and their weird agenda with the most outrageous comedy to hit the big screen since Borat.

00:45:09.340 But this is important.

00:45:10.880 And the only way to see Am I Racist is in theaters, okay, starting today.

00:45:15.600 If you want to see it, you've got to go to the theaters to see it.

00:45:18.660 And you don't want to miss it there.

00:45:20.460 Don't wait.

00:45:21.020 Head over to AmIracist.com.

00:45:23.320 Type in your city or zip code and grab your tickets and showtimes now.

00:45:26.480 Let's make this opening weekend impossible to ignore.

00:45:29.380 Make it so that the left and the corporate media cannot ignore it, which is what they'd much prefer to do.

00:45:33.340 Get your tickets.

00:45:34.140 Fill those seats.

00:45:34.880 Help us dominate the box office this weekend.

00:45:36.660 And now let's get to our daily cancellation.

00:45:45.080 You know, there are a lot of well-known chants from political rallies throughout history.

00:45:49.160 There was We Like Ike for Eisenhower.

00:45:52.400 There was Hell No, We Won't Go for the many protests during the Vietnam War.

00:45:56.400 More recently, there was Build the Wall and Lock Her Up during the Trump campaign back in 2016. 1.00

00:46:00.540 These kinds of chants are historic artifacts in a way.

00:46:03.020 Historians study them to get a sense of what things were like in the past.

00:46:05.780 Yesterday, another chant was added to this storied list.

00:46:09.560 It happened at a Tim Walz rally, of all places.

00:46:12.340 We're talking about an instant classic here, one that future historians will study for a long time.

00:46:16.640 And then, after studying it, they'll look at each other and say, what the hell was going on back then?

00:46:22.780 And then they might ask, how can this be real?

00:46:24.920 And what were those people smoking?

00:46:26.560 I don't have the answer to all those questions, but I can confirm, if any future historians are watching this podcast many years down the line,

00:46:32.720 that this is a very real chant from a Tim Walz rally that took place in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

00:46:37.260 And here it is.

00:46:39.460 You tell me you had this on your bingo card.

00:46:41.940 And they're eating cats.

00:46:43.340 And they're eating cats.

00:46:44.180 Yes, they're chanting, we're not eating cats over and over.

00:46:59.320 And they're doing it with enthusiasm, too.

00:47:01.480 Like they rehearsed it.

00:47:04.160 But again, we're the weird ones.

00:47:06.060 They're chanting that they don't eat cats at their rallies.

00:47:10.380 We're the weird ones.

00:47:11.460 First of all, unless that rally was full of Haitians, which it isn't, then this chant doesn't even make sense. 0.99

00:47:19.360 Nobody is saying that Democrats in general are eating cats.

00:47:22.700 That's not a claim that anybody is making.

00:47:25.100 The claim that people are making is that Haitian nationals specifically are eating cats.

00:47:29.460 So already we're in very confusing territory with this chant.

00:47:32.260 It's not even clear what they're trying to say.

00:47:34.080 But if nothing else, we can determine from this chant that Republicans' claims about illegal aliens eating household pets,

00:47:39.020 made most recently by Donald Trump at the debate the other day, have struck a chord with Democrats.

00:47:43.080 They clearly don't think it's happening.

00:47:44.360 And they're very, very upset that anyone's making the claim.

00:47:46.180 In fact, they're upset to a degree that borders on comical at this point.

00:47:50.640 That's certainly the case for Democrat Congressman Eric Swalwell,

00:47:53.260 who had a meltdown in Congress earlier this week in response to a cat meme that was tweeted out by one of his colleagues.

00:47:59.180 Watch.

00:47:59.480 What in the hell is this? 0.96

00:48:03.720 The chairman tweets, protect our ducks and kittens in Ohio because he goes down some crazy rabbit hole, 0.97

00:48:12.800 completely debunked that aliens are eating pets?

00:48:19.000 My God.

00:48:21.000 Are you okay, Mr. Chairman?

00:48:23.240 Now, it's safe to say this is the first documented panic attack that a member of Congress has suffered in response to a meme.

00:48:30.280 But, well, I don't even know if that's true.

00:48:35.320 The Democrats have been having a lot of panic attacks about memes.

00:48:38.120 Certainly the first one, the first one in response to a cat and duck meme.

00:48:42.240 I think we can say that.

00:48:44.240 Put aside the specific facts of the cat-eating allegation for a second.

00:48:47.460 This was a joke image that he was responding to, an image that is clearly intended to be humorous

00:48:52.520 and which millions of people have understood as humorous.

00:48:58.120 But instead it provoked this reaction.

00:49:01.980 And that might be one of the greatest images to come out of Congress this decade.

00:49:08.760 In complaining about a meme, Eric Swalwell has turned himself into a meme.

00:49:12.880 So we have a meme out of a meme.

00:49:14.280 But most people are not like Eric Swalwell, thankfully.

00:49:17.980 They're able to laugh a little bit, which is why the whole cat-dog-eating allegation from the debate

00:49:22.480 has prompted the creation of an entire genre of videos on TikTok.

00:49:25.700 In fact, this was by far the most viral moment of the debate on TikTok, other than Trump's closing argument.

00:49:32.520 Here's a representative video.

00:49:34.520 Watch.

00:49:36.280 They're eating the dogs.

00:49:37.640 They're eating the cats.

00:49:38.900 Eat the cat.

00:49:39.920 Eat, eat the cat.

00:49:41.120 They're eating the dogs.

00:49:42.440 They're eating the cats.

00:49:43.560 Eat the cat.

00:49:44.680 Eat, eat the cat.

00:49:45.640 Eat the cat.

00:49:45.960 They're eating the cats.

00:49:47.200 They're eating the dogs.

00:49:48.600 Eat the cat.

00:49:49.520 Eat, eat the cat.

00:49:50.440 Eat the cat.

00:49:52.360 It's a banger, as the kids would say.

00:49:54.780 It's a club banger right there.

00:49:56.540 Suffice it to say, at this point, everything has, you know, gotten a little bit out of hand.

00:50:00.220 The facts of the situation in Springfield are now secondary to the memes.

00:50:04.260 So to correct the record, in order to prevent future mental breakdowns by sitting congressmen,

00:50:07.960 it's important to clarify what we know and don't know about animals getting eaten in Springfield.

00:50:12.260 As far as I can tell, the allegation that people's cats are being eaten first gained popularity after this recent body cam footage from Canton, Ohio,

00:50:19.620 which is about three hours from Springfield.

00:50:21.700 It's circulated online.

00:50:23.400 Watch this.

00:50:24.060 What did you do?

00:50:28.580 Why'd you kill the cat?

00:50:31.160 Smile for me.

00:50:34.780 Smile, what did you do?

00:50:35.900 Go like this.

00:50:37.320 Did you eat that cat?

00:50:40.060 Did you eat it?

00:50:42.160 No, why'd you kill it?

00:50:44.440 Did you guys see all this?

00:50:45.900 No, we pulled up and she was just laying there with you. 0.68

00:50:49.140 Did you see her eating it?

00:50:50.180 Eating it.

00:50:50.920 She was eating it?

00:50:51.680 Yes, she was.

00:50:52.940 Can you call the Humane Society to see if they'll come pick this cat up?

00:50:55.940 It's deceased.

00:50:57.920 Wait, why is the Humane Society picking up a dead cat?

00:51:00.580 The cat was half eaten?

00:51:02.900 I think it's a little late to call the Humane Society.

00:51:05.800 Hey, get an animal shelter out here for this cat. 1.00

00:51:08.520 They could take the half of it that still remains.

00:51:12.960 Maybe somebody will adopt it.

00:51:15.520 Anyway, so a woman with dark skin allegedly ate a cat.

00:51:18.780 It's not clear if she was high or mentally disturbed or just really hungry and the cat looked delicious.

00:51:24.840 I don't know.

00:51:25.300 But what is clear at this point is that the woman is not a Haitian migrant, legal or otherwise.

00:51:30.140 The authorities have made that very clear.

00:51:32.080 At the same time, the fact that this one incident did not involve a Haitian migrant does not mean that people's pets are necessarily safe in Springfield.

00:51:37.380 The Federalists obtained the audio of a Springfield resident's phone call to police from about August 26th.

00:51:42.400 This is before Springfield attracted national attention, so there's no chance that the caller was just trying to play into a current narrative.

00:51:49.600 And in the call, the resident reports a group of Haitian migrants carrying four geese.

00:51:55.080 Here's some of the audio.

00:51:57.620 Clark County Communications.

00:51:59.920 Oh, yes, ma'am.

00:52:00.580 I got a question.

00:52:01.380 This is a non-emergency line, correct?

00:52:03.240 Yes, it is.

00:52:04.040 Okay, I'm sitting here, I'm riding on the trail, going to my orientation for my job today.

00:52:12.780 And I see a group of Haitian people, there was about four of them, they all had geese in their hand.

00:52:23.280 They got away, I couldn't make out the first three of the license plate, but I got the numbers.

00:52:29.160 The last numbers was, and it was a gray Toyota Tacoma they took off on.

00:52:39.460 There was about four of them.

00:52:41.620 There was two men, two women.

00:52:44.220 So, this is obviously pretty strong contemporaneous evidence that Haitians may indeed be killing geese and other animals that they find on the street.

00:52:55.240 Which, I mean, I will say geese are incredibly annoying.

00:52:59.620 So, you know, if people want to kill any geese in my neighborhood, I'm fine with it.

00:53:05.380 But, then again, stray cats can also be kind of annoying, but I'm not endorsing eating them.

00:53:13.780 Anyway, there's also these images from Springfield obtained by the Daily Wire's Spencer Lindquist, showing that, quote,

00:53:20.080 the heads and carcasses of slaughtered pigs are being left out in public.

00:53:23.800 And you can see the image.

00:53:24.700 Additionally, you might have seen this viral image of a dark-skinned man in Ohio carrying an animal on the street.

00:53:32.880 This was apparently posted to Reddit a few months ago.

00:53:34.840 There was no indication that the guy is actually from Haiti, and it doesn't appear that this was photographed in Springfield.

00:53:38.940 And so, a lot of people are using this photograph to say, well, aha, there you go.

00:53:42.720 The right-wingers are lying about Haitians eating animals.

00:53:45.200 But to believe that, you'd have to overlook the firsthand accounts of people actually living in Springfield.

00:53:49.980 I'm not just talking about the 911 call or the Facebook images that a Spencer obtained.

00:53:53.080 I'm talking about the testimony from Springfield City Council meetings, some of which I played before.

00:53:57.800 But here's just a couple of those videos.

00:54:01.900 They're in the park grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their head off and walking off with them and eating them.

00:54:09.740 These are not civilized people.

00:54:12.260 Opening containers in our grocery stores, helping themselves to what's inside and throwing the rest onto the shelves and floors.

00:54:18.920 Pulling off of the highway to publicly clean and gut the roadkill.

00:54:22.440 Lying there in front of anyone that passes by.

00:54:25.780 Stealing animals from farmers and leaving their severed heads at the site of an old school where children play.

00:54:31.460 Relieving themselves in public.

00:54:33.960 Making some barbaric stew out of the birds that live in our park.

00:54:38.040 This is insanity.

00:54:39.440 And it has to stop.

00:54:40.500 So at this point, in order to refute all the evidence, you pretty much have to say that Springfield residents are all wrong.

00:54:47.060 They're relying on hearsay maybe.

00:54:48.820 Maybe the 911 caller was mistaken about what he saw.

00:54:52.140 They're lying.

00:54:53.380 They're engaged in some kind of anti-Haitian conspiracy.

00:54:57.760 But in order to believe that, as implausible as it is, you'd also have to ignore Haitian culture itself.

00:55:04.440 And it's simply a verifiable fact that Haitians eat cats. 1.00

00:55:08.180 Here's an image that Shia Raichik found from 12 years ago.

00:55:10.460 It's an image of a tourist in Haiti being served a stewed cat.

00:55:14.700 And it's not from some right-wing propaganda site.

00:55:16.740 It's from Reddit.

00:55:18.120 And there are plenty more images and posts like this.

00:55:19.880 Go on YouTube.

00:55:20.380 You'll find Haitians posting video tutorials about how to properly peel a cat so you can eat it for lunch. 1.00

00:55:26.520 I'm not going to go into any more detail than that.

00:55:27.980 Everyone knows all of this is true.

00:55:29.660 It is part of Haitian culture.

00:55:31.320 That is where a lot of this stuff comes from.

00:55:33.700 So if you import tens of thousands of Haitians into a small town in Ohio, 0.98

00:55:38.380 it stands to reason that they might bring that culture with them.

00:55:40.840 So that's far more likely than the claim that all of these residents are lying.

00:55:45.700 No, the Haitians may not have eaten other people's cats yet, or maybe they have, 1.00

00:55:49.600 but it certainly seems like they're eating other animals that can be found on the street.

00:55:55.020 And either way, it doesn't matter.

00:55:56.360 The only important point to make here is that Haitian culture is not our culture. 0.99

00:56:01.900 And there's really nothing good about making our country more like Haiti. 0.99

00:56:07.280 Okay?

00:56:08.700 That's why all these Haitians are coming here. 1.00

00:56:10.840 But it's also why we have to send them back.

00:56:13.840 There's not a single person who lives in America

00:56:15.580 who would benefit from having our country more closely reflect Haiti or Haitian culture.

00:56:24.740 And that is ultimately why Democrats who are having meltdowns over cat memes

00:56:29.140 and the Haitians who are eating cats, 1.00

00:56:32.840 if that is what they're doing,

00:56:34.980 are today canceled.

00:56:37.200 That'll do it for the show today and this week.

00:56:39.960 Have a great weekend,

00:56:54.540 Have a great day, great weekend.

00:56:56.180 Godspeed.

00:56:56.540 Republicans or Nazis, 1.00

00:57:05.080 you cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. 0.99

00:57:08.700 Growing up, I never thought much about race. 0.98

00:57:10.620 Never really seemed to matter that much.

00:57:12.460 At least not to me.

00:57:13.280 Am I racist?

00:57:14.460 I would really appreciate it if you love.

00:57:15.740 I'm trying to learn.

00:57:16.480 I'm on this journey.

00:57:17.740 I'm going to sort this out.

00:57:19.000 I need to go deeper undercover.

00:57:20.340 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:57:26.960 Here's my certifications.

00:57:28.100 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. 0.71

00:57:30.840 This is more for you than this for you.

00:57:31.820 Is America inherently racist?

00:57:33.380 The word inherent is challenging there.

00:57:35.340 I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.

00:57:38.480 America is racist to its bones.

00:57:40.360 So inherently. 0.99

00:57:41.220 Yeah, this country is a piece of...

00:57:42.840 White folks. 1.00

00:57:45.360 Trash. 1.00

00:57:45.880 White supremacy. 1.00

00:57:46.660 White woman. 1.00

00:57:47.100 White boy.

00:57:47.760 Is there a black person around?

00:57:49.040 What's a black person right here? 0.90

00:57:50.140 Does he not exist?

00:57:52.940 Hi, Robin.

00:57:53.720 Hi.

00:58:01.200 Rated PG-13.
