Summary

The left is in mourning after a convicted murderer guilty of brutally stabbing a woman to death was executed. They have spun up a bunch of false narratives alleging that the man was innocent. But why are they coming to his defense and why do they care so much about some criminals on death row but not other criminals in death row? Well, we ll discuss. Also, Kamala Harris sits down for her first solo interview since she stole the nomination, and she embarrasses herself as expected. Plus, a couple of pastors and the guy who created Veggie Tales are the latest Christians to come out against my new movie. I ll respond to that and more today on the Matt Walsh Show.

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the left is in mourning after a convicted murderer guilty of brutally stabbing a woman to death was executed.

00:02:32.820 On the day of August 11th, 1998, a lifelong criminal named Marcellus Williams was looking for a house to rob in a gated community in University City, Missouri.
00:02:44.540 Now, by that point, Williams already had several prior criminal convictions, including for robbery and burglary.
00:02:49.560 He shouldn't have been on the streets at all, but apparently a judge let him out of jail so that he could commit more crimes and victimize more people.
00:02:57.360 And that's exactly why he was in University City on August 11th.
00:03:01.220 When Marcellus Williams knocked on the door of a home owned by a 42-year-old journalist named Felicia Gale, nobody answered.
00:03:08.940 So Williams broke a window and let himself in.
00:03:12.560 And he noticed that someone on the second floor was taking a shower.
00:03:16.360 So Williams went downstairs to the kitchen, grabbed a butcher knife, and waited.
00:03:21.080 And when Gale emerged from the shower, Marcellus Williams stabbed her 43 times, including seven separate fatal wounds.
00:03:29.440 He then stole Gale's purse and her husband's laptop before leaving the house to pick up his girlfriend.
00:03:34.920 Now, immediately, his girlfriend noticed something was wrong.
00:03:38.160 Williams' shirt was bloody.
00:03:40.280 His neck was scratched inexplicably.
00:03:42.380 There was also a new laptop in his car.
00:03:44.480 The next day, Williams' girlfriend noticed a purse in the trunk that contained Felicia Gale's identification card.
00:03:49.540 So she confronted Williams about this, and he admitted that he had just murdered a woman.
00:03:55.160 He threatened to kill his girlfriend if she went to the police.
00:03:57.780 Then a few months later, Williams was incarcerated for an unrelated crime.
00:04:01.780 This is the theme in this guy's life, after all.
00:04:04.080 He's constantly in prison because he's constantly committing serious crimes.
00:04:08.720 In this particular instance, when Williams was in jail, he promptly bragged to another inmate that he had murdered Felicia Gale
00:04:15.840 and provided non-public information about the killing.
00:04:19.200 In other words, he provided information he could not have known unless he was there.
00:04:23.440 When that inmate got out of jail, he went to the police department and told them what he had heard.
00:04:29.560 During their investigation, detectives spoke to Marcellus Williams' girlfriend, who confirmed that he had confessed to the murder.
00:04:35.800 Police also found several items belonging to the victim in the Buick that Marcellus Williams was driving,
00:04:41.240 as well as the stolen laptop belonging to the victim's husband.
00:04:43.900 On these facts, Marcellus Williams was convicted by a jury and sentenced to death.
00:04:49.900 On appeal, Williams' attorney raised several objections, most of which were technical in nature.
00:04:55.520 But there were a couple of claims that related to his guilt or innocence.
00:04:58.620 Specifically, Williams said that the jury should have been given the opportunity to determine
00:05:02.960 that he was a mere accomplice to the murders, as opposed to the actual killer.
00:05:06.900 That's because, according to the defense, several unidentified hairs and shoe prints were found at the murder scene.
00:05:13.060 Additionally, Williams' girlfriend was supposedly seen with a laptop computer after Williams was incarcerated.
00:05:19.200 But these arguments weren't convincing to the Supreme Court of Missouri.
00:05:23.620 For one thing, there was evidence showing that several workmen and hundreds of guests
00:05:27.660 had been inside the home in the months prior to the murder,
00:05:30.000 so you'd expect to have some unidentified shoe prints and hairs lying around.
00:05:34.700 Additionally, Marcellus Williams told both his girlfriend and the inmate
00:05:37.520 that he was alone when he committed the murders.
00:05:40.240 And finally, there was no evidence that Williams' girlfriend possessed the same laptop computer
00:05:45.080 that was stolen from the murder scene.
00:05:46.520 She just had a laptop, any laptop.
00:05:49.520 Now, if you tune into any mainstream media coverage of Marcellus Williams' case,
00:05:54.660 you won't hear any of the details I just outlined,
00:05:58.100 all of which are undisputed and come directly from the Supreme Court of Missouri.
00:06:03.000 You won't hear news anchors recount all of the ways in which it's clear
00:06:06.540 that Marcellus Williams is extremely guilty of murder.
00:06:10.080 He is guilty of randomly killing a woman, butchering her to death for no reason.
00:06:17.440 He's very guilty of that, proved beyond a shadow of a doubt.
00:06:22.000 But you won't hear that.
00:06:23.040 Instead, you'll find emotional segments like this one, which just aired on CNN.
00:06:28.680 Watch.
00:06:30.020 Tonight, a Missouri man has been executed by the state,
00:06:34.180 but a deeply unsettling question remains.
00:06:37.800 Was Marcellus Williams innocent?
00:06:40.900 He was accused of killing Felicia Gale in 1998,
00:06:44.120 but a re-examination of evidence raised questions about whether he actually did it.
00:06:49.200 After years of investigations and hearings,
00:06:51.580 Missouri Governor Mike Parsons stepped in this year and ordered the execution to move forward.
00:06:57.440 Now, that was despite prosecutors, Williams' family, and even the family of Gale pleading to spare Williams' life.
00:07:06.420 Now, that did not happen.
00:07:08.460 And tonight, a last-ish appeal to the Supreme Court was rejected,
00:07:13.260 with the 6-6-3 vote falling along ideological lines.
00:07:18.340 A devout, practicing Muslim, Williams' last words were,
00:07:23.100 all praise be to Allah in every situation.
00:07:27.920 The man's last meal, chicken wings and tater tots.
00:07:31.720 And at 7.01 p.m. Eastern time tonight,
00:07:36.360 Marcellus Williams was given the lethal injection of the sedative pentobarbital.
00:07:41.100 And nine minutes later, he was pronounced dead.
00:07:47.000 Oh, it's a tragedy.
00:07:49.820 One of the worst human beings on Earth was executed.
00:07:54.000 Someone who, all the people mourning him,
00:07:59.100 none of them would want to live next door to this guy.
00:08:01.760 You know why?
00:08:02.260 Because you don't want him breaking into your house
00:08:03.700 and stabbing you 43 times.
00:08:07.600 Because you all know exactly that that's exactly what he did.
00:08:11.380 And by the way, all of these morons calling for saying he's innocent,
00:08:16.140 they're not just saying he shouldn't be executed.
00:08:17.740 They're calling for him to be released from prison.
00:08:19.920 That's what they wanted.
00:08:20.600 Now it's too late.
00:08:21.060 Now he's dead.
00:08:21.620 But they wanted him released to do it again,
00:08:27.120 which is exactly what he would do.
00:08:30.160 They just want him released into someone else's community.
00:08:33.200 Not mine.
00:08:33.940 I don't want him in my community, but someone else's.
00:08:36.520 The anchor focuses on reinforcing the current BLM narrative
00:08:39.660 that Marcellus Williams' execution was unjust.
00:08:43.920 And to that end, she talks about how prosecutors
00:08:45.840 and the victim's family didn't want to see Williams killed.
00:08:50.680 She implies he might even be innocent.
00:08:53.080 She barely even mentions the woman who was brutally stabbed
00:08:55.420 43 times in her own kitchen
00:08:57.100 or the mountain of damning evidence in the case.
00:09:01.120 So let's take both of those claims in turn.
00:09:03.260 First of all, the prosecutor that the CNN anchor is referring to
00:09:07.760 is a restorative justice activist named Wesley Bell.
00:09:12.780 Bell was not the original prosecutor on the case,
00:09:15.960 which was tried more than 20 years ago.
00:09:18.360 He parachuted in at the last moment in defiance of the state attorney general
00:09:22.160 to try to delay Williams' execution.
00:09:26.980 Earlier this year, Bell claimed in court filings
00:09:29.560 that DNA evidence might exonerate Williams.
00:09:32.480 Specifically, there was supposedly unknown DNA on the murder weapon.
00:09:35.540 But that claim fell apart in recent weeks.
00:09:38.520 According to the Missouri Judicial Branch,
00:09:40.500 attorneys, quote,
00:09:41.960 received a report indicating the DNA on the murder weapon
00:09:44.480 belonged to an assistant prosecuting attorney
00:09:46.540 and an investigator who had handled the murder weapon
00:09:49.120 without gloves prior to the trial.
00:09:50.900 So there was no unknown DNA on the murder weapon after all.
00:09:55.600 This month, a court in Missouri looked into
00:09:57.840 what exactly happened with the handling of this murder weapon.
00:09:59.920 They determined that back in 2001,
00:10:01.360 it was normal practice for detectives in St. Louis
00:10:03.320 to handle evidence without wearing gloves
00:10:05.100 after the crime lab had processed the item
00:10:07.880 and determined that there was no useful DNA
00:10:10.180 or fingerprints evidence on it.
00:10:12.540 And in this case, because the killer wore gloves,
00:10:14.580 there was no usable evidence on the knife.
00:10:16.300 So the detectives and prosecutors repeatedly handled the knife
00:10:19.180 as part of the trial preparation
00:10:20.780 because they figured there's nothing on the knife
00:10:23.780 that is relevant.
00:10:25.460 Nothing about that in any way
00:10:30.360 suggests that the knife was tampered with
00:10:32.460 or there might have been another killer.
00:10:36.240 None of that means that DNA evidence exonerated him,
00:10:40.860 which is what these morons are out there saying on Twitter.
00:10:43.760 He was exonerated by DNA evidence.
00:10:45.880 No, he wasn't.
00:10:47.460 You're either lying or stupid, which is it?
00:10:49.200 And that is why the court upheld the conviction.
00:10:54.380 As the state attorney general put it,
00:10:56.500 one of the defense's own experts previously testified
00:10:58.460 that he could not rule out the possibility
00:11:00.040 that Williams' DNA was also on the knife.
00:11:02.280 He could only testify to the fact
00:11:03.880 that enough actors had handled the knife
00:11:06.460 throughout the legal process that others' DNA was present.
00:11:10.500 That attorney general emphasized
00:11:11.560 that the other available evidence was very clear.
00:11:14.440 Quote,
00:11:14.660 The victim's personal items were found
00:11:16.900 in Williams' car after the murder.
00:11:19.820 A witness testified that Williams
00:11:21.140 had sold the victim's laptop to him.
00:11:23.080 Williams confessed to his girlfriend
00:11:24.480 and an inmate in the St. Louis County Jail,
00:11:27.000 and Williams' girlfriend saw him dispose
00:11:28.540 of the bloody clothes worn during the murder.
00:11:31.780 This is overwhelming evidence, obviously.
00:11:36.800 Okay?
00:11:38.100 It's actually impossible to imagine any scenario
00:11:40.880 where all of those things could have happened,
00:11:43.540 and yet he's innocent.
00:11:44.660 And if you read between the lines,
00:11:47.880 even this new prosecutor concedes that.
00:11:50.420 In recent court filings and in his interview with CNN,
00:11:52.660 the prosecutor didn't even claim
00:11:53.920 that Williams was necessarily innocent.
00:11:56.680 Instead, he pointed to alleged defects
00:11:58.400 in how the trial was conducted,
00:11:59.760 including jury selection.
00:12:00.840 Here's part of the prosecutor's interview with CNN.
00:12:05.240 You have to wonder why there was such a vested interest
00:12:08.500 in the speed of this.
00:12:10.080 After this was a murder from decades ago
00:12:12.800 at this point in time,
00:12:14.420 now that this was underway,
00:12:18.560 why do you think there was the haste to do so?
00:12:21.060 Given your office said no,
00:12:23.440 the victim's families said no,
00:12:25.760 he was not asking to be released,
00:12:28.080 he wanted time to investigate further,
00:12:30.380 and was even willing to plead guilty to lesser charges,
00:12:33.600 which, I might add,
00:12:35.760 there were people who said,
00:12:37.760 well, hold on,
00:12:38.660 that must mean that he's probably guilty.
00:12:41.760 What's your response to that?
00:12:43.280 What he was willing to agree to
00:12:45.300 was called an Alfred plea,
00:12:46.780 as you know,
00:12:47.560 which he is not pleading guilty to the charges.
00:12:51.700 He's acknowledging that there's enough evidence
00:12:53.960 to convict him.
00:12:55.580 But that was really for us to be able to buy time
00:12:59.260 to be able to investigate his claims of innocence
00:13:01.780 because the execution date was set.
00:13:04.800 If the execution date was stayed,
00:13:07.480 or just pushed back a few months
00:13:09.800 to give us more time to investigate this matter,
00:13:13.140 we may have been able to determine
00:13:15.380 whether or not he was, in fact, innocent or not.
00:13:17.960 But as you know,
00:13:18.960 it's not just about innocence.
00:13:21.040 It's also about the integrity of the conviction.
00:13:24.340 Right.
00:13:25.720 These people are so despicable.
00:13:28.740 You can barely even look at them.
00:13:30.880 They're so disgusting.
00:13:34.860 People die every day in this country.
00:13:37.820 You know?
00:13:39.020 Innocent people.
00:13:41.340 Children.
00:13:43.320 They die at the hands of people like Marcellus Williams.
00:13:47.960 But these news anchors
00:13:49.880 and that activist prosecutor there
00:13:53.860 that we just saw,
00:13:55.380 they never muster any of that emotional energy
00:13:58.340 for any of the people.
00:13:59.340 I mean, hundreds of people dying.
00:14:01.540 Thousands of people dying every day.
00:14:04.900 They have no feeling about almost any of that.
00:14:09.020 And then an absolute murdering,
00:14:12.040 multiply convicted scumbag
00:14:16.080 is executed and that's what they,
00:14:18.240 they can barely even talk about it.
00:14:19.700 They're so emotional.
00:14:21.740 So this is an incredible moment.
00:14:23.300 They're both claiming that Marcellus Williams
00:14:24.840 was executed too hastily
00:14:26.620 more than 25 years
00:14:29.140 after he killed a woman in her own kitchen.
00:14:31.140 This crime was committed
00:14:32.300 during the Clinton administration.
00:14:35.620 And it's too hasty.
00:14:38.140 Too fast, apparently.
00:14:40.580 We just need another 25 years
00:14:42.120 to really investigate this case.
00:14:44.060 See if we can find some new information.
00:14:46.880 He had 25 years to prove
00:14:48.340 that actually it's a false conviction.
00:14:50.160 Couldn't do it in 25 years.
00:14:52.040 Not enough time.
00:14:53.880 If he had only had more time,
00:14:55.860 then magically
00:14:56.960 the innocence fairy
00:14:59.460 would have flown into his cell
00:15:01.320 and sprinkled some innocence dust on him.
00:15:03.700 And that's what he needed.
00:15:07.080 Maybe some new witnesses would turn up.
00:15:08.900 Maybe we'll find new surveillance footage.
00:15:10.700 Who knows?
00:15:12.160 Apparently the point is,
00:15:13.040 even after you're convicted,
00:15:14.120 you get 50 more years
00:15:16.020 to prove that you're really innocent.
00:15:18.240 At least that's what you get
00:15:19.600 if BLM and the corporate press
00:15:20.840 think that they can turn you into a martyr.
00:15:22.920 So if you're a white guy on death row,
00:15:24.760 then you don't get that benefit.
00:15:26.480 Nobody cares.
00:15:28.600 You'll notice that
00:15:29.300 the only condemned criminals
00:15:30.440 that anyone ever cries over
00:15:32.400 are black.
00:15:33.480 Plenty of white guys
00:15:34.380 get put to death too.
00:15:36.780 But they never become
00:15:38.180 a trendy cause
00:15:39.040 for the media and activists.
00:15:40.260 I wonder why.
00:15:43.820 Anyway, as you just heard,
00:15:44.940 the other argument
00:15:45.480 that they're using
00:15:46.120 is that people connected
00:15:47.300 to the victim
00:15:47.780 supposedly don't want
00:15:48.760 this man to be executed.
00:15:49.840 Again,
00:15:50.600 that isn't a claim
00:15:51.940 that's related to
00:15:52.700 whether Marcellus Williams
00:15:53.580 killed someone or not.
00:15:54.760 It's an argument
00:15:55.200 about what the family wants.
00:15:57.880 But if you look closer
00:15:58.700 into this claim,
00:15:59.600 that falls apart too.
00:16:01.860 Here's part of a letter
00:16:02.740 written last month
00:16:03.600 by Laura Friedman,
00:16:04.680 who's now married
00:16:05.320 to the victim's
00:16:05.980 former husband.
00:16:07.680 Quote,
00:16:07.900 after 26 years
00:16:09.880 of competing court filings,
00:16:11.800 secret commissions,
00:16:12.700 TV news alerts,
00:16:13.540 and front page headlines,
00:16:15.460 my husband's personal pain
00:16:16.800 is once again
00:16:17.400 the subject of public
00:16:18.240 discussion and debate.
00:16:19.840 This is now the fifth time
00:16:21.200 this family tragedy
00:16:22.100 has been revisited,
00:16:23.500 relitigated,
00:16:24.200 and reappeared in the press.
00:16:25.280 We are exhausted
00:16:25.980 and exasperated.
00:16:27.540 Whether the death penalty
00:16:28.340 is deserved in a case like this
00:16:29.760 is a matter for debate.
00:16:31.200 Williams's guilt
00:16:32.100 is not.
00:16:35.320 So notice what's
00:16:36.160 actually going on here.
00:16:36.800 Laura Friedman
00:16:37.520 emphatically says
00:16:38.860 that Marcellus Williams
00:16:40.480 is guilty.
00:16:41.960 She's speaking on behalf
00:16:43.400 of the victim's husband,
00:16:45.120 who's now her husband.
00:16:46.960 That is the closest person
00:16:48.920 to the victim.
00:16:51.020 And he says
00:16:52.180 he's guilty.
00:16:55.800 The media just ignores
00:16:57.060 that part.
00:16:58.580 She also says
00:16:59.360 that she just wants
00:16:59.960 this case to be over
00:17:00.880 so that the family
00:17:01.560 can get some closure.
00:17:02.840 They're tired
00:17:03.720 of how activists
00:17:04.400 have dragged this case out
00:17:05.600 for more than 25 years.
00:17:07.640 Media ignores that part, too.
00:17:10.040 Instead, the story
00:17:10.760 for the mainstream media
00:17:11.500 is that the family
00:17:12.100 and loved ones
00:17:12.680 close to the victim
00:17:13.700 supposedly don't want
00:17:14.900 the death penalty.
00:17:16.960 And it's not true.
00:17:19.660 Let me ask you,
00:17:20.300 if you care so much
00:17:20.800 about the victims,
00:17:22.080 how do you think
00:17:22.640 it makes them feel?
00:17:24.880 If you care so much
00:17:25.600 about the victim's family,
00:17:26.440 how do you think
00:17:26.760 the victim's family feels
00:17:28.560 when they see you dirtbags
00:17:31.700 on TV crying
00:17:33.160 your crocodile tears
00:17:34.320 for the man
00:17:35.300 that killed
00:17:35.860 their family member?
00:17:38.760 When you're rallying
00:17:39.860 in support
00:17:40.520 of the man
00:17:41.120 that butchered
00:17:41.920 their family member
00:17:42.920 and killed her
00:17:43.940 in her own house,
00:17:47.520 you think the victim's family,
00:17:48.560 you think they're happy
00:17:49.300 about that?
00:17:49.700 You think that makes
00:17:50.100 them feel good?
00:17:52.220 You think that helps
00:17:52.980 them heal?
00:17:53.400 No, you don't care
00:17:56.440 about the victim's family.
00:17:57.760 You don't give a damn
00:17:58.980 about the victim's family.
00:18:01.380 As far as you're concerned,
00:18:02.280 they could have been killed too.
00:18:03.200 Doesn't matter to you.
00:18:07.040 All you care about
00:18:07.920 is Marcellus Williams
00:18:08.940 because he's a black criminal
00:18:11.160 and so you can make him
00:18:12.260 into a martyr.
00:18:12.860 That's the only thing
00:18:13.400 you care about.
00:18:14.260 Only thing.
00:18:16.540 So these are the lies
00:18:17.640 that are underpinning
00:18:18.440 the latest attempt
00:18:19.320 by race hustlers
00:18:20.120 to manufacture another
00:18:21.220 George Floyd scenario.
00:18:22.880 For example,
00:18:23.400 Henry Rogers,
00:18:24.260 a.k.a. Ibram X. Kendi,
00:18:25.260 wrote, quote,
00:18:26.180 tonight Missouri lynched
00:18:27.540 Marcellus Williams.
00:18:29.760 DNA evidence proved
00:18:30.760 he was innocent.
00:18:32.200 It didn't matter
00:18:32.840 because the United States
00:18:34.160 is a serial killer
00:18:35.120 of black people.
00:18:37.580 Just total,
00:18:38.160 not a complete lie.
00:18:39.460 Everything about that
00:18:40.400 is a lie.
00:18:40.880 DNA proved he's innocent.
00:18:42.040 No, it didn't.
00:18:43.560 Total lie.
00:18:44.820 For her part,
00:18:45.600 Cori Bush,
00:18:46.200 who just lost her primary
00:18:47.260 to Wesley Bell,
00:18:48.080 also called Williams
00:18:48.900 innocent
00:18:49.420 and said his death
00:18:50.900 was depraved.
00:18:51.760 You know what I would
00:18:55.200 like them to do?
00:18:55.720 I wish they would have
00:18:56.640 said, okay,
00:18:57.840 all right,
00:18:58.120 we'll release him
00:18:58.640 from jail,
00:18:59.160 Cori Bush.
00:18:59.700 He's living with you now.
00:19:01.620 How about that?
00:19:03.180 He'll be your roommate.
00:19:03.860 You care so much
00:19:04.560 about this poor
00:19:05.380 innocent man.
00:19:06.900 All right,
00:19:07.140 we'll let him out.
00:19:07.620 We'll put him in your,
00:19:08.020 he'll be your roommate now.
00:19:13.540 We'll check back in a week,
00:19:15.680 see how that turned out.
00:19:18.300 The NAACP had a similar message,
00:19:20.320 quote,
00:19:20.720 tonight Missouri lynched
00:19:22.020 another innocent black man.
00:19:24.020 Governor Parson had the responsibility
00:19:25.300 to save this innocent life
00:19:26.700 and he didn't.
00:19:27.180 The NAACP was founded in 1909
00:19:28.860 in response to the barbaric lynching
00:19:30.240 of black people in America.
00:19:31.420 We were founded exactly
00:19:32.540 because of people like
00:19:33.300 Governor Parson
00:19:33.860 who perpetuate violence
00:19:35.260 against innocent black people.
00:19:36.600 So there are a lot
00:19:38.980 of statements like this
00:19:39.840 from every BLM activist
00:19:41.020 and race hustler
00:19:41.800 that you'd expect.
00:19:43.280 Mainstream media organizations
00:19:44.440 are saying much the same thing.
00:19:45.500 They're claiming
00:19:45.780 that there's no difference
00:19:46.560 between executing a man
00:19:47.680 convicted of a brutal homicide
00:19:49.000 and who clearly did commit
00:19:50.860 that brutal homicide
00:19:51.680 and lynching a random black person
00:19:53.300 who's done nothing wrong.
00:19:55.080 If these people had any degree
00:19:56.340 of intelligence
00:19:56.840 or integrity whatsoever,
00:19:57.800 they'd recognize
00:19:58.340 how degrading that is
00:19:59.420 by the weight of black people
00:20:00.340 who haven't committed any crimes.
00:20:01.580 They're being equated
00:20:02.180 with a career felon
00:20:03.140 who killed a woman
00:20:03.720 for no reason.
00:20:06.600 Now, the only lesson
00:20:07.420 we can draw from this
00:20:08.320 is that the NAACP,
00:20:09.560 Henry Rogers,
00:20:10.160 and corporate media
00:20:10.840 don't believe that black people
00:20:13.140 should get the death penalty
00:20:13.960 when they murder a white person.
00:20:16.820 They probably don't think
00:20:17.740 any punishment is appropriate
00:20:18.760 at all, frankly,
00:20:19.920 because of how they're lying
00:20:22.640 about the death
00:20:23.180 of Felicia Gale.
00:20:25.260 We're witnessing crass race hatred
00:20:27.840 spilling out into the open.
00:20:30.900 We all know that
00:20:31.800 if Marcellus Williams were white
00:20:32.960 or if his victim had been black,
00:20:34.260 there wouldn't be
00:20:35.220 any outrage whatsoever.
00:20:37.340 I mean, this is the clearest
00:20:38.280 imaginable example
00:20:39.440 of a manufactured racial narrative.
00:20:41.860 And of course,
00:20:42.260 it's happening in an election year.
00:20:44.220 And it's riling up
00:20:45.200 all the lunatics you'd expect.
00:20:46.400 In one post that has
00:20:47.140 hundreds of thousands
00:20:47.820 of views on X,
00:20:48.560 an activist wrote,
00:20:49.420 quote,
00:20:50.280 the murder of Marcellus Williams
00:20:51.600 is connected to the murder
00:20:52.560 of the people of Palestine
00:20:53.660 and the people in Haiti
00:20:54.680 and the people in Lebanon
00:20:55.540 and the people in
00:20:56.240 Let Your Grief Move You
00:20:57.940 to see this as part
00:20:58.860 of one state-approved project.
00:21:01.900 Yes, Marcellus Williams
00:21:02.860 is connected to the people
00:21:04.080 of Palestine
00:21:04.760 and Haiti and Lebanon
00:21:06.020 somehow.
00:21:09.100 Now, as deranged as this post is,
00:21:11.140 it does have a shred
00:21:11.940 of honesty in it.
00:21:13.640 The truth is that
00:21:14.500 nobody campaigning
00:21:15.460 on behalf of Marcellus Williams
00:21:16.640 actually thinks he's innocent.
00:21:19.920 If a woman is brutally murdered
00:21:21.500 and you confess to the crime
00:21:22.760 to multiple people,
00:21:24.420 you give them details
00:21:25.460 that you wouldn't have known
00:21:26.580 unless you'd been there,
00:21:27.700 and you're found
00:21:28.880 with the victim's property
00:21:30.060 in your car,
00:21:31.920 then you're guilty.
00:21:34.580 Period.
00:21:36.440 It is, again,
00:21:37.520 basically impossible
00:21:38.640 to even conceive
00:21:39.920 of a possible scenario
00:21:42.220 where all of that
00:21:43.620 could happen
00:21:44.320 and yet you're still innocent.
00:21:47.980 Come up with an even,
00:21:49.200 come up with a fantasy scenario
00:21:50.820 where a woman
00:21:52.060 could be murdered
00:21:53.480 and then you have a guy
00:21:55.660 who's totally unconnected
00:21:57.060 to the murder
00:21:57.640 who happens to be seen
00:21:59.520 with bloody clothes
00:22:00.560 on the same day,
00:22:02.100 happens to confess
00:22:02.940 to that murder
00:22:03.720 and know things about it
00:22:04.740 that haven't been reported
00:22:05.500 in the police
00:22:05.860 and also happens
00:22:06.680 to have the property
00:22:07.580 of the victim
00:22:08.420 in his car
00:22:09.440 and yet he didn't do it.
00:22:12.060 Piece that one together.
00:22:13.240 What's your theory
00:22:14.100 of the crime
00:22:14.780 if it's not Marcellus Williams?
00:22:18.520 Well,
00:22:19.480 you have no theory
00:22:20.420 because you know
00:22:20.840 Marcellus Williams is guilty.
00:22:21.940 He did it.
00:22:22.300 He brutally butchered
00:22:23.040 an innocent woman.
00:22:23.720 He deserves to die
00:22:24.460 for what he did.
00:22:26.360 I'm glad he died
00:22:27.460 for what he did.
00:22:28.660 The world's a better place
00:22:29.980 without him
00:22:30.460 and it's justice
00:22:32.820 and it's that simple.
00:22:36.680 But none of the activists
00:22:37.660 really care about
00:22:38.220 the facts of this case
00:22:39.140 or even about
00:22:39.620 Marcellus Williams himself.
00:22:40.840 These, after all,
00:22:41.720 are not empathetic people.
00:22:43.080 These are not people
00:22:43.680 who value human life.
00:22:45.880 Millions of human children
00:22:46.820 have been killed
00:22:47.320 by abortion in this country
00:22:48.360 and these people
00:22:48.840 not only don't care about that
00:22:50.460 but celebrate it.
00:22:51.280 They apparently feel
00:22:52.940 infinitely more sympathy
00:22:54.100 for a convicted murderer
00:22:55.240 who stabbed a woman
00:22:56.140 40 times
00:22:57.080 than they do
00:22:57.960 for 60 million
00:22:59.100 dead children combined.
00:23:01.260 So, you know,
00:23:02.260 how could anyone's
00:23:03.140 heart be that twisted?
00:23:04.440 How could their sympathies
00:23:05.340 be so wildly,
00:23:06.460 psychotically misdirected?
00:23:07.880 Well, because
00:23:08.220 they actually have no sympathy
00:23:09.820 at all for anyone.
00:23:11.320 It's all a show.
00:23:12.180 It's an act.
00:23:12.580 These are sociopaths.
00:23:13.660 This is about a much
00:23:16.840 larger effort
00:23:17.440 to undermine
00:23:17.980 and ultimately destroy
00:23:18.940 the rule of law
00:23:19.600 in the United States
00:23:20.280 and this effort
00:23:20.860 is being undertaken
00:23:21.600 by people who care
00:23:22.460 far more about Haiti
00:23:23.660 and Lebanon
00:23:24.080 than they care
00:23:24.560 about this country.
00:23:26.380 That's why they're
00:23:27.020 trivializing the murder
00:23:27.900 of this young white
00:23:28.760 journalist in Missouri.
00:23:30.240 It's why they're
00:23:30.640 mocking her family
00:23:31.500 and pretending
00:23:31.880 her killer is innocent.
00:23:34.640 Only the most
00:23:35.340 dysfunctional hellholes
00:23:36.580 on the planet
00:23:37.160 have explicit
00:23:37.900 distinct standards
00:23:38.860 of justice
00:23:39.400 depending on the skin
00:23:40.600 color of the assailant
00:23:41.740 and the skin color
00:23:42.380 of the victim.
00:23:43.860 And after this
00:23:44.560 surreal and delusional effort
00:23:46.640 to absolve
00:23:47.360 Marcellus Williams,
00:23:48.680 it's clear that
00:23:50.180 we're much closer
00:23:51.100 to becoming
00:23:51.640 one of those
00:23:52.280 hellholes
00:23:53.020 than we might like
00:23:54.620 to admit.
00:23:56.180 Now let's get
00:23:56.860 to our five headlines.
00:24:03.600 Attention men
00:24:04.600 who still believe
00:24:05.560 in the American dream.
00:24:06.560 In a world gone mad,
00:24:07.560 the Precision 5 Razor
00:24:09.840 from Jeremy's Razor
00:24:11.420 stands as a beacon
00:24:13.280 of sanity.
00:24:14.020 I hold it now
00:24:14.920 in my hand.
00:24:16.780 It's even more
00:24:17.420 beautiful in person
00:24:18.380 than it looks
00:24:18.980 on the screen.

00:24:22.800 as unshakable
00:24:24.100 as your faith
00:24:24.920 that the nation's
00:24:25.600 best days
00:24:26.240 still lie ahead.
00:24:27.900 Experience an
00:24:28.720 exceptionally smooth,
00:24:29.780 remarkably closed shave
00:24:30.720 and a testament
00:24:31.200 to the fact
00:24:31.760 that merit still matters.
00:24:33.480 Stop giving your money

00:24:45.260 Kamala had her first
00:24:46.300 solo sit-down
00:24:47.400 interview yesterday.
00:24:48.300 She gets no credit,
00:24:49.820 of course,
00:24:50.240 for finally sitting down
00:24:51.480 by herself
00:24:52.100 like a big girl.
00:24:54.920 She's on her own now.
00:24:57.300 So grown up.
00:24:59.700 But she gets no credit
00:25:00.800 for that
00:25:01.140 because it took her
00:25:02.880 two months.
00:25:04.120 And because she's
00:25:04.920 sitting down
00:25:05.460 with one of her supporters
00:25:06.400 on MSNBC
00:25:08.120 just to give you
00:25:09.520 the flavor
00:25:10.040 of the interview,
00:25:11.240 to give you an idea
00:25:12.040 of the level
00:25:12.620 of questioning
00:25:13.260 that she was
00:25:14.560 confronted with.
00:25:17.460 Here is,
00:25:19.240 here's,
00:25:20.840 this is the closest
00:25:21.980 thing that
00:25:23.040 the interviewer got
00:25:24.300 to doing any kind
00:25:25.180 of sort of fact check.
00:25:27.160 Let's watch this.
00:25:28.800 The first one,
00:25:29.680 just a fact check.
00:25:30.780 Because your opponent
00:25:31.740 almost every day,
00:25:33.140 there's no such thing
00:25:34.060 as a little job.
00:25:34.560 Okay, fair, fair.
00:25:36.080 Because your opponent
00:25:36.980 almost every day
00:25:37.820 seems to be talking
00:25:38.700 about this.
00:25:39.340 So I just want to ask you
00:25:40.240 yes or no.
00:25:40.920 At any point in your life,
00:25:42.800 have you served
00:25:43.840 two all-beef patties,
00:25:45.640 special sauce,
00:25:46.580 lettuce, cheese,
00:25:47.500 pickles, onions,
00:25:48.320 on a sesame seed bun,
00:25:49.740 working out of McDonald's?
00:25:50.780 Yes or no?
00:25:51.380 That's it.
00:25:51.780 I have.
00:25:52.480 Okay, now the other job.
00:25:54.140 Now the other job.
00:25:54.560 But it was not a small job.
00:25:56.100 Like, I did the fries.
00:25:57.400 I mean, I, you know.
00:26:00.260 Hard-hitting stuff.
00:26:01.880 She did the fries,
00:26:03.120 she tells us.
00:26:04.560 And she definitely didn't,
00:26:05.660 by the way.
00:26:06.260 She is almost certainly
00:26:07.420 lying about working fast food.
00:26:09.360 Nobody who worked
00:26:10.200 in fast food says,
00:26:11.420 I did the fries.
00:26:13.380 So she's lying about this.
00:26:14.700 She's lying about it
00:26:15.340 for no reason.
00:26:17.080 Like, it's not like
00:26:17.700 anybody would blame her
00:26:18.760 or say she's unqualified
00:26:20.020 if she didn't work
00:26:21.080 in fast food.
00:26:22.480 She's unqualified
00:26:23.340 for a million other reasons,
00:26:24.600 but that wouldn't be
00:26:25.260 one of them.
00:26:26.300 So there's no reason
00:26:27.280 to lie about this,
00:26:28.040 but she lies about everything.
00:26:28.920 She's pathological.
00:26:30.780 Here's one more clip.
00:26:31.740 Another classic
00:26:32.840 Kamala ramble.
00:26:34.820 And this is her response
00:26:35.740 to a question
00:26:36.160 about how she plans
00:26:37.080 to lower housing costs.
00:26:39.460 Here's what she says.
00:26:41.280 And assistance
00:26:42.200 to state and local governments
00:26:43.380 around transit dollars.
00:26:45.260 And looking holistically
00:26:47.060 at the connection
00:26:48.260 between that
00:26:49.120 and housing.
00:26:50.480 And looking holistically
00:26:51.800 at the incentives
00:26:52.740 we and the federal government
00:26:53.880 can create
00:26:54.460 for local and state governments
00:26:55.720 to actually engage
00:26:57.040 in planning
00:26:57.620 in a holistic manner
00:26:58.820 that includes
00:27:00.000 prioritizing
00:27:00.800 affordable housing.
00:27:02.680 Ah, holistically, you see.
00:27:04.360 How is she going to
00:27:05.100 lower housing prices?
00:27:06.800 Well, holistically.
00:27:09.360 How will she do it holistically?
00:27:11.720 Simple.
00:27:13.260 She'll do it holistically
00:27:14.520 by approaching it
00:27:16.720 holistically
00:27:17.960 in a holistic manner
00:27:20.440 with holistic strategies.
00:27:22.300 so that holistically
00:27:24.500 a holistic result
00:27:26.980 can be holistically achieved.
00:27:31.140 In terms of being holistic
00:27:33.080 she's going to be
00:27:35.220 very holistic.
00:27:36.120 Holistically.
00:27:37.860 So Kamala just learned
00:27:39.300 the word holistic
00:27:40.160 and is very excited about it.
00:27:42.500 I'm surprised it took her
00:27:43.660 this long
00:27:44.120 to latch on to this word.
00:27:45.360 It's a perfect word
00:27:46.100 for Kamala.
00:27:46.680 It's a word
00:27:47.260 that is wonderfully useful
00:27:48.560 to people who want
00:27:49.480 to sound like
00:27:49.900 they're saying something
00:27:50.640 when they're actually
00:27:51.540 not saying anything at all.
00:27:53.140 So we're going to hear
00:27:54.440 this word a lot more.
00:27:55.580 She is,
00:27:56.000 this is going to be
00:27:56.420 the new Venn diagram.
00:27:58.400 It's the new significance
00:27:59.960 of the passage of time.
00:28:01.380 You know,
00:28:01.660 she's going to be,
00:28:02.520 she loves this word.
00:28:04.340 She is,
00:28:05.060 this is,
00:28:05.560 this is,
00:28:06.000 this is the word
00:28:07.080 for Kamala Harris.
00:28:11.040 Except that it is
00:28:12.000 always interesting
00:28:12.600 to see how,
00:28:14.380 you know,
00:28:14.880 she wants to
00:28:17.220 say nothing
00:28:18.940 while sound like
00:28:19.720 she's saying something,
00:28:20.560 but she's,
00:28:20.960 she hasn't,
00:28:22.020 she's not good at that.
00:28:22.900 She hasn't perfected
00:28:24.040 that art.
00:28:25.660 She says nothing
00:28:26.600 and sounds like
00:28:27.440 she's saying nothing.
00:28:28.920 Barack Obama
00:28:29.540 was good at saying nothing
00:28:31.120 and making it sound
00:28:31.820 like something.
00:28:32.340 Even,
00:28:32.620 even Hillary Clinton
00:28:34.400 was relatively skilled
00:28:36.400 in that department
00:28:37.560 because it's a basic
00:28:39.160 political skill
00:28:40.000 that any corrupt
00:28:40.720 politician
00:28:41.280 needs to have.
00:28:43.020 It's the,
00:28:43.740 it's the first thing
00:28:44.540 they teach you
00:28:45.020 in corrupt politician school.
00:28:46.540 It's,
00:28:46.840 you gotta be,
00:28:47.540 you gotta be able
00:28:49.360 to,
00:28:49.760 to,
00:28:50.540 uh,
00:28:50.900 your way through things.
00:28:51.820 But Kamala
00:28:52.620 didn't graduate
00:28:53.200 that course.
00:28:54.820 Uh,
00:28:55.000 she's maybe,
00:28:56.080 here's maybe
00:28:57.720 the most impressive,
00:28:58.200 this is the glass ceiling
00:28:59.280 that she's breaking
00:28:59.940 if she,
00:29:00.780 if she ends up
00:29:02.020 as president.
00:29:03.780 She's maybe
00:29:04.640 the first
00:29:05.360 major party
00:29:06.660 presidential candidate
00:29:07.920 who isn't
00:29:10.540 a good,
00:29:11.000 uh,
00:29:11.500 and I'm,
00:29:14.520 I'm trying to think
00:29:15.180 of someone else
00:29:16.340 that broke
00:29:17.480 that ceiling
00:29:17.920 before her.
00:29:18.780 But I can't
00:29:19.440 think of anyone.
00:29:21.320 Uh,
00:29:21.940 and this is why
00:29:22.420 she's so terrified
00:29:23.120 of interviews.
00:29:23.780 It's not that she has,
00:29:24.800 uh,
00:29:25.420 no policies,
00:29:26.260 no plan,
00:29:26.780 that she's flip-flopped
00:29:27.580 on every issue.
00:29:28.560 Yeah,
00:29:29.080 that's all true,
00:29:30.340 but plenty of politicians
00:29:31.440 and,
00:29:31.900 and candidates
00:29:32.480 have fallen into
00:29:33.300 that category,
00:29:33.980 right?
00:29:34.460 And,
00:29:35.020 and most of them
00:29:36.280 are not afraid
00:29:37.020 of interviews
00:29:37.480 because they know
00:29:38.620 they have the rhetorical
00:29:39.480 skills to filibuster
00:29:40.700 and obfuscate
00:29:41.580 and,
00:29:41.980 and kind of just,
00:29:43.340 you know,
00:29:44.260 dance around it
00:29:45.460 and never actually
00:29:46.400 answer a question.
00:29:47.080 They,
00:29:47.320 they know they can do that
00:29:48.880 and so it's no problem.
00:29:51.600 Kamala doesn't have
00:29:52.280 those skills,
00:29:52.900 which actually would be
00:29:54.220 admirable
00:29:54.820 if she failed to develop
00:29:57.480 skills because
00:29:59.120 she's just such an
00:30:00.240 honest straight shooter
00:30:01.340 and so
00:30:02.100 she doesn't know how to,
00:30:04.440 all she knows how to do
00:30:05.260 is just tell the truth.
00:30:06.940 Um,
00:30:07.500 but,
00:30:08.320 but she's not an
00:30:09.060 honest straight shooter,
00:30:09.800 obviously.
00:30:10.560 She's totally full of it.
00:30:12.640 She,
00:30:13.040 all the time,
00:30:13.740 she's done it for decades
00:30:14.760 and yet she has never
00:30:16.700 gotten any better at it.
00:30:19.400 That's,
00:30:19.920 that's what amazes me.
00:30:22.380 Um,
00:30:23.360 all right.
00:30:23.940 New York City,
00:30:24.800 this is from Daily Wire
00:30:25.880 reporting,
00:30:26.640 New York City Democrat
00:30:27.320 Mayor Eric Adams
00:30:28.260 has reportedly been
00:30:29.340 indicted in the federal
00:30:30.820 criminal corruption
00:30:31.460 investigation that has
00:30:32.260 cast a dark cloud
00:30:33.400 over his administration
00:30:34.700 for nearly a year.
00:30:37.080 The New York Times
00:30:37.800 reported that the indictment
00:30:38.660 remains under seal
00:30:39.560 and it's unclear
00:30:40.460 what charges he faces,
00:30:41.660 but once it's unsealed,
00:30:43.300 he'll be the first
00:30:43.960 New York City mayor
00:30:45.440 to be charged
00:30:46.120 while in office.
00:30:47.700 The investigation
00:30:48.500 had initially centered
00:30:49.480 around whether he
00:30:50.160 conspired with the
00:30:50.800 Turkish government
00:30:51.540 to funnel illegal
00:30:52.460 foreign contributions
00:30:53.340 to his campaign
00:30:54.200 in exchange for actions
00:30:55.660 that he took as mayor.
00:30:57.400 Investigators were also
00:30:58.200 looking at whether
00:30:58.720 he got free flight upgrades
00:31:00.160 from an airline
00:31:00.900 owned by the Turkish
00:31:01.800 government.
00:31:02.960 Prominent Democrats
00:31:03.540 have already come out
00:31:04.100 against him.
00:31:04.640 Representative
00:31:05.100 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
00:31:06.480 said in a statement,
00:31:07.280 I do not see how
00:31:07.820 Mayor Adams could
00:31:08.340 continue governing
00:31:08.920 New York City.
00:31:10.940 The flood of
00:31:11.600 resignations and vacancies
00:31:12.380 are threatening
00:31:12.860 government function.
00:31:13.780 Nonstop investigations
00:31:14.640 will make it impossible
00:31:15.380 to recruit and retain
00:31:16.200 a qualified administration.
00:31:17.180 For the good of the city,
00:31:17.760 he should resign.
00:31:20.240 Well, Adams has responded
00:31:21.460 to this indictment
00:31:22.120 in a statement
00:31:22.800 and here's a little bit
00:31:24.960 of that.
00:31:26.500 My fellow New Yorkers,
00:31:28.800 it is now my belief
00:31:30.400 that the federal government
00:31:31.960 intends to charge me
00:31:33.480 with crimes.
00:31:35.280 If so,
00:31:37.020 these charges
00:31:37.880 will be entirely false
00:31:39.540 based on lies.
00:31:43.160 But they would not
00:31:44.300 be surprising.
00:31:46.140 I always knew
00:31:46.960 that if I stood
00:31:47.960 my ground
00:31:48.860 for all of you
00:31:49.680 that I would be a target
00:31:51.460 and a target
00:31:52.860 I became.
00:31:54.700 For months,
00:31:55.860 leaks and rumors
00:31:57.020 have been aimed at me
00:31:58.620 in an attempt
00:31:59.600 to undermine
00:32:00.180 my credibility
00:32:01.120 and paint me
00:32:02.360 as guilty.
00:32:03.480 Just this past week,
00:32:05.840 they searched the home
00:32:07.060 of our new police commissioner
00:32:08.340 looking for documents
00:32:10.240 from 20 years ago,
00:32:13.000 just one week
00:32:14.400 after he joined
00:32:15.360 my administration.
00:32:17.280 Enough.
00:32:18.420 I will fight
00:32:19.440 these injustices
00:32:20.400 with every ounce
00:32:21.820 of my strength
00:32:22.920 and my spirit.
00:32:24.760 If I'm charged,
00:32:26.220 I know I am innocent.
00:32:27.680 I will request
00:32:29.560 in the media trials
00:32:30.700 so the New Yorkers
00:32:31.960 can hear
00:32:32.620 the truth.
00:32:34.440 New Yorkers
00:32:34.920 know my story.
00:32:38.320 Now,
00:32:38.820 I have no idea
00:32:39.280 what's going on here.
00:32:40.140 I have no insight
00:32:40.760 into it.
00:32:41.520 I have not a lot
00:32:43.480 of analysis
00:32:43.920 to offer.
00:32:44.600 I'm more just covering it
00:32:45.640 because it's a major story.
00:32:46.520 And this is
00:32:49.700 one of the things
00:32:52.280 you notice,
00:32:52.840 by the way,
00:32:53.380 about the pundit class,
00:32:56.040 of which I am
00:32:57.480 still a part,
00:32:58.520 unfortunately.
00:32:59.060 But no matter
00:33:03.180 what happens
00:33:03.940 in the country
00:33:05.380 or in the world,
00:33:07.220 if it gets attention,
00:33:08.960 if it's in the news,
00:33:10.360 then we all
00:33:12.100 automatically know
00:33:12.900 exactly what's going on.
00:33:14.800 Right?
00:33:15.220 Which is immediate.
00:33:15.880 I know what that's about.
00:33:17.040 I'll tell you exactly
00:33:17.600 why this is happening.
00:33:19.420 Just heard about it
00:33:20.200 30 seconds ago.
00:33:21.660 Right?
00:33:22.060 We haven't thought
00:33:22.580 about Mayor Adams at all.
00:33:23.560 Not following that.
00:33:24.400 Not really.
00:33:24.900 But as soon as,
00:33:25.720 no,
00:33:25.980 I know.
00:33:27.080 I'll tell you
00:33:27.600 why this is happening.
00:33:28.260 I'll give you the real.
00:33:30.320 And that's like
00:33:31.080 what everybody does
00:33:31.720 with this.
00:33:32.180 I don't know.
00:33:32.980 I don't know
00:33:33.260 what's going on here.
00:33:34.020 I have no clue.
00:33:36.600 There are some conservatives
00:33:37.700 who are saying
00:33:38.180 that the feds
00:33:38.680 are coming after Adams
00:33:39.480 because he's been speaking
00:33:40.380 out about the migrant problem.
00:33:42.620 They're saying
00:33:43.220 this is another witch hunt.
00:33:45.260 Maybe that's true.
00:33:46.800 Now,
00:33:47.260 I'm hesitant
00:33:47.700 to assume that.
00:33:50.440 Right?
00:33:50.900 I'm hesitant
00:33:51.280 to circle the wagons
00:33:52.440 around a
00:33:53.000 Democrat politician.
00:33:55.080 It wouldn't shock me
00:33:56.260 if Mayor Adams
00:33:56.880 was actually corrupt.
00:33:58.260 And guilty
00:33:58.820 of various crimes.
00:34:00.760 Our ruling class
00:34:01.820 is corrupt.
00:34:02.960 Adams is part
00:34:03.580 of the ruling class.
00:34:04.240 I mean,
00:34:04.360 he's the mayor
00:34:04.780 of the largest city
00:34:05.460 in the country.
00:34:08.840 Democrats who run
00:34:09.800 major cities
00:34:10.400 are especially corrupt.
00:34:13.000 So,
00:34:14.880 you know,
00:34:16.060 when I hear
00:34:16.640 that he's being indicted,
00:34:18.320 I don't think,
00:34:19.160 well,
00:34:19.240 I can't.
00:34:19.880 Not Mayor Adams.
00:34:21.440 Not him.
00:34:23.080 No,
00:34:23.320 yeah,
00:34:23.440 he could be
00:34:23.920 guilty of all kinds
00:34:26.460 of crimes.
00:34:26.780 Who knows?
00:34:27.920 Or not.
00:34:29.860 Now,
00:34:30.200 it is,
00:34:31.460 the timing
00:34:32.140 is strange,
00:34:33.840 I'll admit,
00:34:34.620 like it's right
00:34:35.420 before an election.
00:34:37.060 Also,
00:34:37.400 he is a Democrat,
00:34:38.480 and so he's
00:34:39.740 one of their own.
00:34:42.020 So why are they
00:34:42.820 going after him?
00:34:43.520 Those are interesting
00:34:44.120 questions.
00:34:44.780 I don't know.
00:34:46.400 There's probably
00:34:47.040 more to the story
00:34:47.680 than meets the eye.
00:34:48.480 There usually is.
00:34:49.300 And I think
00:34:52.300 the safest assumption
00:34:53.240 early on
00:34:54.960 is that
00:34:55.460 probably there are
00:34:56.480 no good guys here.
00:34:57.500 Probably as more
00:34:58.240 comes out,
00:34:58.840 you're going to say,
00:34:59.500 okay,
00:34:59.800 well,
00:35:00.000 there's really
00:35:00.340 nobody to root for
00:35:01.060 in this thing,
00:35:02.760 which is so often
00:35:04.480 the case.
00:35:05.660 Okay,
00:35:06.180 let's get to
00:35:06.880 something super cringe.
00:35:08.120 The cast of Hamilton
00:35:08.980 came together
00:35:09.660 to make a
00:35:10.500 get out the vote song,
00:35:12.140 which they are
00:35:13.420 billing as a
00:35:14.260 non-partisan
00:35:15.160 get out the vote song,
00:35:16.380 but it's quite obvious
00:35:17.620 that it's very
00:35:18.680 partisan indeed.
00:35:20.960 And also,
00:35:22.280 in terms of
00:35:22.680 the artistic quality,
00:35:24.040 it is predictably
00:35:24.960 a travesty
00:35:25.960 and a human rights
00:35:26.800 violation
00:35:27.300 that I'm now
00:35:29.440 going to inflict
00:35:30.080 on all of you.
00:35:30.920 Here it is.
00:35:31.400 It's a party
00:35:34.000 and a vote
00:35:36.000 and a vote
00:35:37.520 and a vote
00:35:38.440 America
00:35:39.640 decided
00:35:42.080 by ladies
00:35:43.360 who vote
00:35:44.400 for a vote
00:35:46.400 vote
00:35:46.660 You could say
00:35:48.320 it's common sense
00:35:49.000 we're voting for
00:35:49.860 In 2020,
00:35:50.800 women cast
00:35:51.320 10 million more
00:35:52.160 You say the loss
00:35:53.040 is destructive
00:35:53.520 I say it's
00:35:54.040 reproductive
00:35:54.640 So let my message
00:35:55.780 be instructive
00:35:56.680 We've won each time
00:35:57.840 Our rights were gambled
00:35:59.000 And we're picking reps
00:35:59.780 who will persist
00:36:00.680 And if you call me
00:36:02.140 a suffraga
00:36:02.680 Then check the internet
00:36:03.740 Cause here
00:36:04.240 I'm a suffragist
00:36:05.540 Work!
00:36:06.540 Look it up,
00:36:07.520 look it up
00:36:08.260 Check your status
00:36:09.040 at whenweallvote.org
00:36:11.160 Look it up,
00:36:12.280 look it up
00:36:13.000 Check your status
00:36:13.780 whenweallvote.org
00:36:15.880 Next DM or text
00:36:17.200 three friends
00:36:17.940 To check for sure
00:36:19.000 They are registered
00:36:20.040 In the state or city
00:36:21.520 They live now
00:36:22.380 Even better
00:36:23.440 You can show them
00:36:24.200 how to register
00:36:25.860 Yeah
00:36:27.120 So, there's that
00:36:29.680 Nonpartisan by the way
00:36:32.420 She's talking about
00:36:33.860 reproductive rights
00:36:34.800 Totally nonpartisan
00:36:35.900 They don't
00:36:36.760 They'd be happy
00:36:38.240 if you voted for Trump
00:36:38.980 They have no opinion
00:36:39.880 about it
00:36:41.400 As expected
00:36:43.020 that was about
00:36:43.800 a 9.5
00:36:44.780 on the cringe
00:36:45.580 Richter scale
00:36:46.340 The
00:36:46.680 the
00:36:48.080 Crichter scale
00:36:48.940 as it's known
00:36:50.460 to scientists
00:36:51.140 And
00:36:52.520 A couple of points
00:36:55.020 worth making
00:36:55.800 Well, I don't know
00:36:57.540 if they're worth making
00:36:58.260 but I'm going to do it anyway
00:36:59.120 First of all
00:36:59.940 This is once again
00:37:02.200 why I am a proponent
00:37:03.920 of decreasing
00:37:05.260 voter participation
00:37:06.660 This is why
00:37:08.560 I think there should be
00:37:09.460 millions fewer
00:37:10.640 who vote
00:37:11.640 If you're the kind of voter
00:37:15.760 who could be
00:37:16.720 inspired by this song
00:37:19.200 to vote
00:37:19.800 Like, if this song
00:37:20.960 actually succeeds
00:37:22.120 in doing what it intends to do
00:37:23.460 and convincing you
00:37:25.100 to vote
00:37:25.660 then you are a voter
00:37:28.340 who should actually
00:37:29.060 be kept as far away
00:37:30.020 from the polls
00:37:30.540 as possible
00:37:31.120 Because you lack
00:37:34.580 the intelligence
00:37:35.260 and maturity
00:37:35.960 to be given any say
00:37:37.200 in how the country
00:37:38.160 is governed
00:37:38.640 And there are many voters
00:37:40.740 who fall into that category
00:37:42.040 And that's why
00:37:42.560 as I've argued
00:37:43.060 so many times
00:37:43.800 there should be
00:37:45.220 a system in place
00:37:46.100 to filter out
00:37:47.300 the people
00:37:47.700 who are not qualified
00:37:48.820 to participate
00:37:49.680 in our democracy
00:37:50.700 Not everybody is
00:37:52.060 A simple civics test
00:37:54.780 fifth grade level
00:37:55.660 is what I've always suggested
00:37:56.900 ten question quiz
00:37:58.480 Very, very simple
00:38:00.180 It would immediately
00:38:01.400 disqualify millions
00:38:02.640 of the most incompetent
00:38:03.800 voters in the country
00:38:04.540 and that would be
00:38:04.920 a very good thing
00:38:05.620 Voting is not
00:38:08.180 a basic human right
00:38:09.280 It is not
00:38:10.700 Our founders
00:38:12.900 never saw it that way
00:38:15.160 Nobody saw it that way
00:38:18.280 until very recently
00:38:19.440 Voting is a
00:38:23.240 serious responsibility
00:38:25.260 and we should
00:38:26.200 expect voters
00:38:27.080 to live up to
00:38:27.620 the most basic standards
00:38:29.160 if they're going
00:38:30.780 to participate in it
00:38:31.940 And when you let
00:38:33.700 the dumbest
00:38:34.280 most clueless
00:38:35.060 most immature
00:38:35.920 least invested people
00:38:37.260 steer the ship
00:38:37.960 Well, you end up
00:38:39.900 hitting one iceberg
00:38:40.700 after another
00:38:41.380 after another
00:38:42.460 after another
00:38:42.980 until the ship
00:38:43.600 can't take it anymore
00:38:44.700 And that's
00:38:47.120 what will happen
00:38:47.680 That's what is happening
00:38:48.620 And so
00:38:50.360 to me
00:38:51.020 it's not much
00:38:51.920 different from
00:38:52.720 you know
00:38:55.080 driving
00:38:55.620 I think most
00:38:57.380 most people
00:38:58.220 unless you're the most
00:38:59.040 unless you're
00:39:00.260 you know
00:39:00.580 a purist
00:39:01.940 libertarian
00:39:02.640 who doesn't even
00:39:04.140 believe in
00:39:04.500 driver's licenses
00:39:05.180 but most people
00:39:05.820 understand that's
00:39:06.720 you know
00:39:08.720 you can't just
00:39:10.040 let anybody
00:39:10.680 on the road
00:39:11.340 there should be
00:39:13.340 some standard
00:39:14.320 before you let
00:39:15.140 people drive
00:39:16.040 and most people
00:39:18.380 would probably agree
00:39:19.140 that the standards
00:39:19.720 are too low right now
00:39:20.680 and if you go out
00:39:22.860 and drive on the highway
00:39:23.980 for 10 minutes
00:39:24.660 you see that
00:39:25.780 you see a bunch
00:39:26.360 of people
00:39:26.780 who it's like
00:39:27.600 you should not
00:39:28.540 be here
00:39:29.780 you're not cut out
00:39:30.960 for this
00:39:31.400 so
00:39:34.260 even
00:39:36.740 there's
00:39:37.000 there are
00:39:37.720 basic standards
00:39:38.480 for driving
00:39:39.200 even those
00:39:40.720 basic standards
00:39:41.560 still you end up
00:39:43.020 with millions
00:39:43.660 of morons
00:39:44.200 on the road
00:39:44.600 to get people
00:39:45.000 killed every day
00:39:45.720 can you imagine
00:39:47.220 if there were
00:39:47.520 no standards
00:39:48.220 can you imagine
00:39:50.380 if they're like
00:39:50.800 yeah anybody
00:39:51.160 whatever
00:39:51.560 you can drive
00:39:52.100 doesn't matter
00:39:52.660 doesn't matter
00:39:53.420 how old you are
00:39:54.360 it doesn't matter
00:39:54.800 anything
00:39:55.320 don't pass a test
00:39:57.120 don't do anything
00:39:57.880 don't
00:39:58.320 you know
00:39:58.980 don't pass go
00:40:01.180 don't collect $200
00:40:01.860 just go
00:40:02.440 go straight
00:40:02.880 to the highway
00:40:03.680 can you imagine
00:40:06.360 how much worse
00:40:06.840 it would be
00:40:07.280 if we did that
00:40:09.340 and so if we can
00:40:11.760 see that
00:40:12.380 with driving
00:40:13.840 I don't see how
00:40:14.940 why it's so difficult
00:40:16.680 to connect that dot
00:40:17.760 with voting
00:40:18.260 because the voting booth
00:40:22.060 very much
00:40:22.800 resembles now
00:40:24.280 the
00:40:25.360 resembles
00:40:26.440 the highway
00:40:29.120 you know
00:40:29.840 only worse
00:40:30.440 where you've
00:40:30.840 just got it
00:40:31.340 crammed full
00:40:32.120 of people
00:40:33.120 who are not
00:40:33.580 fit to be there
00:40:34.180 second point
00:40:36.120 on a different
00:40:37.780 note
00:40:38.220 no pun intended
00:40:39.660 back to the song
00:40:40.780 very corny
00:40:41.960 very cringe
00:40:42.720 very lame
00:40:43.400 we see again
00:40:44.980 the left's
00:40:45.540 artistic deficiencies
00:40:46.640 on full display
00:40:47.740 you know
00:40:48.940 which is a
00:40:49.260 relatively new
00:40:49.860 phenomenon
00:40:50.200 we've talked
00:40:50.620 about it a lot
00:40:51.120 but they
00:40:51.460 they used to
00:40:52.220 be very good
00:40:52.820 at this kind
00:40:54.140 of thing
00:40:54.460 like embedding
00:40:55.200 their political
00:40:55.860 and ideological
00:40:56.480 message
00:40:57.000 into art
00:40:57.640 they used to
00:40:58.100 create things
00:40:58.880 whether it was
00:40:59.240 music
00:40:59.560 or tv shows
00:41:00.340 or movies
00:41:00.800 or whatever
00:41:01.240 where if you
00:41:03.500 were perceptive
00:41:04.580 you could tell
00:41:06.220 the political
00:41:07.300 message that was
00:41:08.040 in the piece
00:41:08.940 of art
00:41:09.280 and
00:41:10.900 and maybe
00:41:11.620 you didn't
00:41:11.920 agree with it
00:41:12.580 but you
00:41:14.240 couldn't help
00:41:14.720 but listen
00:41:15.160 to the song
00:41:15.780 or watch
00:41:16.240 the show
00:41:16.540 or watch
00:41:16.880 the film
00:41:17.400 because it
00:41:18.280 was so good
00:41:18.920 and this is
00:41:20.800 how conservatives
00:41:21.360 got good
00:41:21.840 at separating
00:41:22.460 the art
00:41:22.760 from the artist
00:41:23.200 and all that
00:41:23.560 kind of stuff
00:41:23.980 because historically
00:41:25.840 you know
00:41:27.480 you'd watch
00:41:27.940 a show
00:41:28.320 you'd watch
00:41:28.780 a movie
00:41:29.420 and you
00:41:30.780 start seeing
00:41:31.540 okay well
00:41:32.100 this is the
00:41:32.500 political slant
00:41:33.280 this is the
00:41:33.640 ideological slant
00:41:34.260 but like
00:41:34.660 this is a
00:41:35.760 great film
00:41:36.280 and so
00:41:38.520 I'm still
00:41:39.340 going to watch
00:41:39.780 it as a piece
00:41:40.420 of art
00:41:40.780 and I'm going
00:41:41.400 to try to
00:41:41.680 overlook
00:41:41.980 all that other
00:41:42.600 stuff
00:41:42.800 but of course
00:41:45.380 most people
00:41:45.840 in the audience
00:41:46.420 were not
00:41:48.360 perceptive enough
00:41:49.040 to pick up
00:41:49.640 on that stuff
00:41:50.320 and so
00:41:51.040 they were
00:41:51.660 absorbing
00:41:52.200 the messages
00:41:52.800 passively
00:41:53.440 without knowing
00:41:54.120 and the art
00:41:55.620 slowly changed
00:41:56.640 them
00:41:56.980 slowly shifted
00:41:58.040 their worldview
00:41:58.780 without them
00:41:59.260 even understanding
00:41:59.860 what was happening
00:42:00.460 and that is
00:42:02.200 when leftist art
00:42:03.260 was most effective
00:42:04.200 at doing what
00:42:05.940 they wanted to do
00:42:06.540 but they've largely
00:42:07.180 lost that ability
00:42:07.960 now because now
00:42:08.620 it's always this
00:42:09.260 sort of thing
00:42:09.780 it's on the nose
00:42:10.920 preachy
00:42:12.600 stuff that you
00:42:15.720 could only enjoy
00:42:16.600 if you agree
00:42:17.320 with the message
00:42:17.840 ahead of time
00:42:18.420 and that's a
00:42:21.120 development that
00:42:21.820 you know
00:42:22.940 on balance
00:42:23.560 is very positive
00:42:24.280 I'm actually
00:42:25.020 happy
00:42:25.340 well
00:42:25.820 it's a little
00:42:26.720 bit of a
00:42:27.200 it's a
00:42:28.940 you know
00:42:30.180 you win some
00:42:30.640 you lose some
00:42:31.100 situation
00:42:31.480 because
00:42:31.760 it means
00:42:33.280 that we have
00:42:33.580 less
00:42:34.060 art
00:42:35.600 that's
00:42:36.280 you know
00:42:37.140 any good
00:42:37.720 you have a lot
00:42:39.260 more bad art
00:42:40.860 out there
00:42:41.480 which is
00:42:42.000 frustrating
00:42:43.500 but it also
00:42:46.560 means that
00:42:47.160 the left
00:42:47.800 is not able
00:42:49.460 to communicate
00:42:50.040 their message
00:42:50.620 nearly as
00:42:51.220 effectively
00:42:51.580 anymore
00:42:52.000 because this
00:42:53.160 is how
00:42:53.400 they do
00:42:53.680 it
00:42:53.900 so
00:42:55.020 and everybody
00:42:56.340 dies of
00:42:56.880 cringe
00:42:57.280 you can't
00:42:58.680 convert the
00:42:59.040 audience
00:42:59.300 when you've
00:42:59.660 killed them
00:43:00.140 from
00:43:00.820 from cringe
00:43:02.040 cringe
00:43:02.460 you know
00:43:02.740 are you still
00:43:03.740 struggling with
00:43:04.240 back taxes
00:43:04.760 or unfiled
00:43:05.260 returns
00:43:05.620 the IRS
00:43:06.000 is escalating
00:43:06.620 collections
00:43:06.960 by adding
00:43:07.320 20,000 new
00:43:08.460 agents
00:43:08.820 and sending
00:43:09.320 millions of
00:43:09.880 demand letters
00:43:10.360 handling this
00:43:11.200 alone can be a
00:43:11.820 huge mistake
00:43:12.320 and cost you
00:43:12.800 thousands of
00:43:13.400 dollars in
00:43:13.840 these challenging

00:44:19.300 to Daily Wire Plus on
00:44:20.740 Tuesday night the 2024
00:44:22.040 vice presidential debate
00:44:23.420 between J.D. Vance and
00:44:24.460 Tim Walls will be live
00:44:25.900 right here let's face it
00:44:27.420 these debates are better
00:44:28.380 with friends especially
00:44:29.280 friends who can spot
00:44:30.260 every lie and false
00:44:31.340 promise that's why we're
00:44:33.580 doing oh good a special
00:44:36.440 backstage with pre-show
00:44:37.640 analysis from Ben Shapiro
00:44:38.980 Michael Knowles Andrew
00:44:40.080 Klavan Jeremy Boring and
00:44:41.720 me I cannot wait to sit
00:44:44.040 around talking about the
00:44:45.300 vice president debate
00:44:46.720 there's nothing more
00:44:48.340 thrilling at all nothing
00:44:51.960 more thrilling than a
00:44:52.980 vice presidential debate I
00:44:55.300 mean I'm on the record
00:44:55.960 loving vice president I
00:44:56.840 think that I it's like the
00:44:58.260 Super Bowl for me times 10 so
00:45:01.440 instead of yelling at your
00:45:02.560 TV alone come yell with us
00:45:04.340 the vice presidential debate
00:45:05.540 Tuesday night at 830
00:45:07.140 eastern time on Daily Wire
00:45:08.780 Plus now let's get to our
00:45:10.520 daily cancellation
00:45:11.160 so recently on the show we
00:45:18.920 discussed the deep concern
00:45:20.480 expressed by some Christian
00:45:22.140 commentators about my new
00:45:23.620 film Am I Racist
00:45:24.620 these pundits are troubled by
00:45:27.560 the film because they say we
00:45:29.120 use deceptive tactics to
00:45:30.740 capture the footage and that
00:45:32.940 is profoundly problematic they
00:45:34.760 say they are disturbed
00:45:36.140 a Christian has made a movie
00:45:39.600 that's interesting and funny and
00:45:41.140 effective and that appeals to a
00:45:42.880 wide audience and this is of
00:45:44.280 course a cause for great alarm
00:45:45.800 among the sorts of Christians who
00:45:47.160 want to make sure that we never do
00:45:48.560 anything interesting funny or
00:45:50.300 effective especially if it appeals
00:45:51.740 to a wide audience no what they
00:45:54.120 want always are things that are
00:45:55.740 lame and boring and redundant
00:45:57.580 and most of all insular and I've
00:46:00.340 already addressed the arguments
00:46:01.360 these people have made I don't
00:46:03.060 need to address it again and yet
00:46:04.860 here we are because I happen to
00:46:06.620 see a clip posted at Twitter by
00:46:07.920 the account woke preacher clips
00:46:09.380 this is a conversation on a
00:46:10.920 podcast called Holy Post hosted
00:46:12.780 by Phil Vischer best known as one
00:46:14.620 of the creators of veggie tales
00:46:16.660 Vischer has gone woke in recent
00:46:18.600 years or maybe always was I don't
00:46:20.080 know but it's no great surprise
00:46:22.180 either way that he's apparently
00:46:23.500 not a fan of mine and he's
00:46:25.520 joined on this episode by a guy
00:46:27.360 named Pastor Mike Erie and another
00:46:29.600 guy named Sky Jethani who is now a
00:46:33.360 Christian speaker I guess and was
00:46:35.100 once also a pastor so these three
00:46:38.020 brilliant minds came together to
00:46:40.220 talk about the film a film that as
00:46:41.800 far as I could tell none of them
00:46:43.160 have seen let's listen the film
00:46:47.040 lampoon's diversity equity and
00:46:48.700 inclusion initiatives and features
00:46:50.320 Walsh posing as a DEI expert to
00:46:52.680 expose and ridicule actual DEI
00:46:55.440 experts in a Borat style subterfuge and
00:46:59.420 if there's anything we need more in
00:47:01.060 the Christian world it's Borat style
00:47:03.460 subterfuge now I'm gonna let them
00:47:06.700 continue but I do want to interject
00:47:07.960 here to say that yeah actually Phil we
00:47:12.440 do need more of that in the Christian
00:47:14.140 world comedy satire using the left's
00:47:16.240 own methods against them that is
00:47:18.620 without question something we need
00:47:20.060 more of but these three men disagree
00:47:22.700 so let's let's get to their argument
00:47:24.160 even though they didn't see the movie
00:47:25.580 and haven't the slightest damn clue
00:47:26.880 what they're even talking about
00:47:27.920 still let's continue we don't know
00:47:32.320 who's right but it sparked a
00:47:34.640 conversation online among Christians
00:47:37.580 saying is that okay and Denny Burke
00:47:40.900 wrote a piece actually I was reading
00:47:42.200 from Denny Burke's piece who's the the
00:47:44.000 head of the Center for Biblical
00:47:46.500 Womanhood and Manhood so ultra
00:47:49.520 conservative but he pushed back and
00:47:51.720 said I think it's wrong to use
00:47:53.740 subterfuge and deception just you know
00:47:57.040 for culture war battles and other
00:47:59.280 people said oh what do you think it's
00:48:00.880 wrong to lie to the Nazis that you've
00:48:02.900 got Jews in your attic this is that was
00:48:05.200 coming these are serious times it
00:48:08.520 warrants serious measure so you you both
00:48:12.400 are one current and one former pastor I
00:48:15.840 want you to tell me when is it okay for
00:48:18.240 me to lie to achieve what I consider to
00:48:21.240 be a good Mike Erie go well I'm lying that
00:48:28.380 I'm enjoying this I want to interject one
00:48:34.000 more time briefly before we hear them make
00:48:35.560 their compelling case against the movie
00:48:36.960 they didn't watch I just want you to
00:48:39.320 notice the tone you see the guy on the
00:48:43.420 bottom left I think that's sky with his
00:48:47.260 head in his hands rolling his eyes
00:48:48.760 pastor Erie is flippant and dismissive so
00:48:52.280 is Phil Vischer the VeggieTales guy the
00:48:55.140 whole thing is so beneath them that's just
00:48:57.200 so silly it's absurd that they're even
00:48:59.520 lowering themselves to discuss my film
00:49:02.520 that's the general tone which pervades all
00:49:05.260 the rest of what we're about to hear and
00:49:06.820 what came before the clip we just played
00:49:09.300 it's also the attitude that these types of
00:49:11.680 people usually have when discussing me or
00:49:14.680 my work but notice something they're
00:49:19.840 discussing my work I'm now discussing them
00:49:24.020 discussing my work but I'm not discussing
00:49:26.440 any of their work nobody is nobody's
00:49:30.640 discussing it and that's because they
00:49:32.480 haven't done anything remotely worth
00:49:35.020 discussing in their entire lives they
00:49:38.360 haven't done anything at all now Vischer
00:49:41.620 made VeggieTales 30 years ago which is
00:49:43.820 fine that was a successful series about
00:49:45.660 singing vegetables it you know and
00:49:47.880 whatever it's something though at least
00:49:50.140 these other two and and Vischer himself
00:49:53.160 post VeggieTales haven't done anything
00:49:56.060 ever to move or impact the culture in any
00:49:59.420 way they hang out in their pretentious
00:50:02.620 woke pseudo-Christian bubble smelling
00:50:04.920 their own farts and telling themselves how
00:50:06.680 much smarter and more nuanced and more
00:50:09.040 sophisticated they are but they don't do
00:50:11.900 anything they don't create anything
00:50:14.440 instead they spend their time dismissively
00:50:17.620 critiquing the only people who are
00:50:19.720 actually doing and creating things and
00:50:22.580 look I'm used to having useless people
00:50:24.360 criticize me happens every day but when
00:50:27.160 they do it with such a snide attitude
00:50:28.960 that's that's what annoys me so here's
00:50:35.300 my challenge as we continue to any of the
00:50:39.020 three dudes in that podcast challenge go
00:50:42.980 out and create something anything at all
00:50:46.900 that makes a noticeable and positive
00:50:50.160 cultural impact now I don't mean
00:50:53.520 something that your liberal Christian
00:50:55.100 friends like okay I mean something that
00:50:58.200 moves the culture in some way something
00:51:02.380 that people outside of your bubble have to
00:51:04.600 sit up and take note of and grapple with
00:51:07.420 and think about something that makes a
00:51:10.680 little bit of ripple has a bit of a ripple
00:51:13.500 effect on the surface of the water make
00:51:18.060 anything that achieves that could be a song
00:51:21.780 a movie a show even a podcast not the one
00:51:26.520 you're currently on that has zero impact
00:51:28.120 nobody watches it but just anything at all
00:51:31.760 that makes an impact that's my challenge
00:51:34.100 and I would suggest that if you can't do that
00:51:38.040 if you can't even conceive of how to go about
00:51:41.820 doing that well then you should probably have a
00:51:45.340 little humility and wipe the smarmy smirks off
00:51:49.060 your faces because not only that but you
00:51:53.100 aren't even qualified to hold the positions you
00:51:55.720 currently hold you should not be in a self
00:51:59.060 appointed position of Christian leadership or
00:52:01.100 as a supposed Christian thought leader or
00:52:03.220 whatever if you actually don't know how to
00:52:06.500 effectively spread a message of truth and
00:52:09.080 fight back against evil in modern culture if you
00:52:12.980 don't know how to do that then all you should
00:52:15.560 be doing fellas is sitting and listening not
00:52:19.520 talking to an audience because you don't have
00:52:23.060 anything worthwhile to say and you don't
00:52:26.540 have an example that anybody would benefit
00:52:29.040 from following but maybe I'm being harsh so
00:52:34.500 let me now take my own advice and continue
00:52:36.780 listening to them so that we can find out if
00:52:40.060 they do in fact have something worthwhile to
00:52:43.240 say let's continue this was the kicker from
00:52:46.260 matt walsh because matt walsh pushed back and
00:52:48.600 said and said I have no regrets about the methods
00:52:50.600 we used and would happily do it again and then
00:52:52.480 he added the real dividing line is between those
00:52:55.520 of us who are willing to do what it takes to win
00:52:58.260 the culture war and those of us who are not
00:53:01.080 yep yep and there and there that is the dividing
00:53:06.960 line absolutely that is exactly the dividing
00:53:09.780 line that is very true you agree you're saying
00:53:11.940 you're going on record to say you agree with
00:53:14.000 matt walsh in one very narrow respect you cannot
00:53:19.320 follow the sermon on the mount and engage in a
00:53:21.380 culture war yes so there is a dividing line
00:53:24.140 absolutely um with so so there is this you know
00:53:28.340 principle in judaism about what it is when you when you
00:53:31.200 save a life you save the world and so to deceive in
00:53:35.220 order to protect life I mean I'm all for it to deceive in
00:53:39.120 order to own the libs may it never be phil may it never be
00:53:43.400 and let's be clear it's not just deceive to own the libs it's
00:53:47.420 deceive to own the libs that in a movie that you will make
00:53:51.320 millions of dollars distributing
00:53:52.740 so there is a self-interest in here there's a financial interest it's also
00:53:58.280 yeah it's deceiving for entertainment value exactly because there are a whole
00:54:02.160 bunch of other ways that you could get make a point that you disagree with
00:54:07.720 diversity equity and inclusion programs right other than making fun of the
00:54:13.340 people who promote them for money I think that it's not just about lying and
00:54:19.640 it's not just about this movie obviously this is this is the ethic that
00:54:23.700 animates so much of the christian subculture right now
00:54:27.260 it is if you inflate their fear that everything is on the line the world is
00:54:33.420 going to burn the country is going to be destroyed the churches are going to be
00:54:36.600 taken over your children are going to be you know forced out of school to have a
00:54:39.600 sex change operation whatever like these are things that are being told to
00:54:43.020 people if everything is on the line then it justifies
00:54:46.080 abandoning the way of jesus in order to do what's necessary
00:54:50.040 to save yourself and those you love here here and yep and that's what he's saying
00:54:55.020 is the that's right it's wrong on so many levels if you if you have to set aside
00:55:00.740 the commands of jesus in order to fulfill what you think is jesus's agenda we can be
00:55:05.380 sure it's no longer jesus you're following
00:55:07.120 so there's a lot there um all of it bad
00:55:11.640 it is a confused morally and theologically incoherent stew of nonsense
00:55:18.660 and it's coming from exactly the sort of weak ineffectual uninspired utterly useless
00:55:24.620 limp-wristed spineless little mealy-mouthed empty vessels who have all but destroyed
00:55:28.900 the christian church in the west and that's why i get a little heated about this it's not because
00:55:33.860 i'm defending the movie the movie doesn't need defense it's doing great the audience response
00:55:37.400 has been overwhelmingly positive certainly not worth getting upset about the opinions of these
00:55:41.660 three guys nobody cares about what upsets me is that these three guys and the legions of christian
00:55:49.100 quote-unquote leaders just like them have done catastrophic damage to the body of christ and
00:55:56.060 that damage can best be summarized by the statement from the man on the bottom right of the screen
00:56:02.920 pastor erie it was a statement enthusiastically co-signed by the other two and i i if i wanted
00:56:10.020 to sum up all of the problems that that that we're having uh that western christendom is having
00:56:19.060 i i couldn't do it better than what that guy just said he said and i quote
00:56:24.060 you can't follow the sermon on the mount and engage in a culture war
00:56:30.300 that very concisely summarizes the effeminate castrated form of christianity that has invaded
00:56:38.580 the christian church like a parasite and it could not possibly be more wrong i mean you might as well
00:56:45.620 say that you can't be a good boxer if you know how to throw a punch it is a it is a statement that
00:56:51.380 misses the point so much as to be basically unintelligible it is a wrongness so wrong that
00:56:57.240 it induces stroke symptoms in those who encounter it no pastor uh let me clear this up for you
00:57:05.420 you can't follow the sermon on the mount unless you engage in the culture war do not light a candle
00:57:14.160 and put it under a bushel let your light shine before men that's what jesus tells us in the sermon
00:57:18.520 on the mount and that is the culture war it is being a light a flame a torch of truth in the darkness
00:57:25.200 what do you think a culture war is let's break this down i'll try to make it as simple as possible
00:57:31.540 for you guys because i know that you are not very quick to pick up on things uh culture itself is
00:57:39.640 nothing less than everything that makes up society our institutions our traditions our customs our art
00:57:44.800 our uh collective achievements everything that defines our society that is the culture
00:57:51.000 the culture war therefore is the fight over that nearly every aspect of our society of our culture
00:58:00.400 is now controlled and defined by an ideology that not only denies but aggressively militates against
00:58:06.520 christian values and christian teaching it is an ideology that embraces and promotes debauchery
00:58:11.620 relativism self-worship hedonism nihilism an ideology that celebrates the mass slaughter of the unborn
00:58:18.260 an ideology that seeks to inflame resentment suspicion and hostility between different races which is
00:58:23.620 what our movie deals with an ideology that that instills uh deep confusion in children so they don't
00:58:33.700 even understand uh who they are what they are an ideology that yes castrates and sterilizes children
00:58:42.440 which is what our last movie dealt with now we want to stop that we want to defeat that ideology and
00:58:52.240 install christian values in its place the other option is to surrender so tell me pastor which part of the
00:59:00.580 sermon on the mount calls for us to surrender to evil where did you see that can you quote me a chapter
00:59:07.960 and verse on that one what's the part that tells us that we're too good we need to be too good and
00:59:13.380 too sophisticated to worry about evil little things like that you know what i see when i read the
00:59:22.480 scriptures are continued relentless calls to fight evil not lie down and acquiesce to it
00:59:31.760 but you know all of that don't you see people like you pretend to be too good for the culture war
00:59:40.300 you stick up your nose and act like you're above it all but in reality you are yourself actively
00:59:49.000 fighting a culture war you're fighting one right now all three of you in that video were fighting a
00:59:55.420 culture war in the video itself it's just that you're fighting on the other side
01:00:01.040 trying to convince us not to fight is a battle tactic that you are employing you are employing
01:00:07.420 it on behalf of the side that despises christian values christian teaching and the truth of the
01:00:13.040 gospel and sadly this tactic has been very effective up to this point but i think that's starting to
01:00:22.880 change now finally because we see you people for what you really are and what you're really doing
01:00:28.820 and who you're really aligned with and that is why you are all today very much with a vengeance
01:00:38.560 canceled that'll do it for the show uh today let's talk to you tomorrow have a great day godspeed
