The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 1490 - Why Every Republican Must Stand Against Gender Lunacy Now

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, there is now a battle over the bathrooms raging on Capitol Hill after

00:00:04.300 the first trans lawmakers elected to Congress. We'll discuss also Republicans grilled ahead of

00:00:08.820 FEMA over the agency's egregious discrimination against Trump supporters. And a commentator on

00:00:13.260 CNN promises to physically block the National Guard from carrying out Trump's deportation

00:00:17.500 orders. We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:00:30.000 Using the internet without ExpressVPN, it's like taking a call on a train or bus on speaker for

00:00:50.220 everyone to hear. You know what keeps me up at night? The thought of big tech companies and

00:00:54.380 government agencies tracking every single move we make online. And it's not paranoia. In this country,

00:00:59.100 your internet service provider can legally sell your browsing history to advertisers. Think about

00:01:03.200 it. Every website you visit, every search you make, it's all being monitored and monetized.

00:01:07.760 That's why I use ExpressVPN. I don't just mean when I'm doing research for the show. I mean,

00:01:12.780 every single time I go online, whether I'm at home or traveling for speaking events,

00:01:16.520 whatever I'm doing, ExpressVPN reroutes all of your traffic through secure encrypted servers,

00:01:21.400 making it impossible for these tech overlords to spy on your digital life. Look, I'm not exactly what

00:01:26.040 you'd call tech savvy, but ExpressVPN is literally one click to activate. You hit a button and suddenly

00:01:32.920 all of your devices, your phone, your laptop, whatever, are protected. And when I say protected,

00:01:37.600 I mean your IP address is completely hidden from these digital surveillance vultures. There's a reason

00:01:42.260 it's rated number one by CNET and The Verge because, you know, it actually works. Right now,

00:01:46.500 you can take advantage of ExpressVPN's Black Friday slash Cyber Monday offer to get the absolute best

00:01:52.260 VPN deal you'll find all year. Use my special link, expressvpn.com slash Walsh to get four extra

00:02:10.940 After Donald Trump's first successful presidential campaign back in 2016, it quickly became clear to

00:02:16.940 everybody that Democrats and Republicans have very different approaches to getting things done in the

00:02:21.940 world of politics. Democrats immediately launched criminal investigations of Trump's campaign.

00:02:27.180 They started talking about impeachment before Trump was even sworn in. They united as a party to do

00:02:32.440 what their voters wanted them to do, which was to sabotage the democratically elected president

00:02:36.880 at every opportunity. They were coordinated and therefore effective. Meanwhile, many Republicans in

00:02:43.820 Congress took the opposite approach. They decided to ignore what Republican voters wanted.

00:02:47.700 They failed to repeal Obamacare. There were disputes over border wall funding and other aspects of the

00:02:54.020 budget, as well as Trump's travel ban. This infighting wasn't particularly surprising. The Speaker of the

00:02:58.400 House at the time, Paul Ryan, had publicly stated just a month before the election that he wouldn't

00:03:02.800 defend Trump anymore. He abandoned his party's nominee entirely, which was unprecedented in modern

00:03:08.500 politics. And that was the divide back in 2016. Establishment Republicans were very resistant

00:03:13.200 to change, even as Republican voters wanted a lot of it. That's one of the reasons we should all pay

00:03:20.140 attention to the drama that unfolded in Congress yesterday. It's one of the first clear signs we have

00:03:26.600 that this time around, maybe things might be different. We now have a clear indication that Republicans

00:03:33.480 finally understand what their voters are demanding and that, like Democrats, maybe they'll actually try to

00:03:40.480 act on those demands. We have our first sign that Republican lawmakers are getting something

00:03:45.780 resembling a spine. Finally, maybe. Now, admittedly, it was a rocky start. So at a press gaggle early in

00:03:51.980 the day, the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, Republican, was asked whether an incoming lawmaker

00:03:58.360 from Delaware who uses the name Sarah McBride is a man or a woman. In case you're not familiar with

00:04:03.520 this person, McBride is being touted as the first transgender lawmaker in Congress. He previously used the

00:04:09.060 name Tim before he decided in college that he's really a woman. Now, in the vast pantheon of

00:04:14.420 questions that Mike Johnson could have been asked, this one should have been pretty easy to dispense

00:04:20.400 with for about a million different reasons. Here's three of them. Mike Johnson is a Christian. He

00:04:25.860 understands basic biology. And he's familiar with the results of the most recent election, which showed

00:04:31.460 that Americans overwhelmingly reject gender ideology across party lines. So by all accounts, in every

00:04:38.440 respect, this was the biggest softball that could have been lobbed Mike Johnson's way. And yet,

00:04:43.800 Mike Johnson whiffed. Watch. Mr. Speaker, is freshman elect Sarah McBride a man or a woman?

00:04:52.380 Look, I'm not going to get into this. We welcome all new members with open arms who are duly elected

00:04:59.360 representatives of the people. I believe it's a command that we treat all persons with dignity and

00:05:06.180 respect. And we will. And I'm not going to engage in silly debates about this. There's a concern about

00:05:12.140 the uses of restroom facilities and locker rooms and all that. This is an issue that Congress has

00:05:16.300 never had to address before. And we're going to do that in deliberate fashion with member consensus

00:05:23.040 on it. And we will accommodate the needs of every single person. That's all I'm going to say about that.

00:05:27.080 Do you plan on bringing Nancy Mesa's transgender bill and putting that into the rules package? 0.89

00:05:33.920 We're not. I'm not going to address the plans on any of that. I just told you what I'm going to say

00:05:37.100 about the issue. I'm not going to engage in this. We don't look down upon anyone. We treat everybody

00:05:41.020 with dignity and respect. That's a principle that I pursued my whole life. And we will take care of

00:05:45.040 this, you know, issue of first impression for Congress as we will any other thing. We'll provide

00:05:50.600 appropriate accommodation for every member of Congress. A truly terrible answer because it

00:05:56.620 wasn't an answer at all. And the question is very, very easy. And there's no conceivable reason why

00:06:03.920 you couldn't just say he's a man. No, nothing bad would happen from you just saying that. Nothing

00:06:11.260 bad politically, nothing bad at all. You know, in a way, it's fitting that this spectacle took place on

00:06:17.420 the same day that SpaceX was launching another starship into orbit. On the one hand, we have

00:06:22.740 geniuses who are solving some of the most complicated physics problems known to man in order to change

00:06:28.020 the future of humanity for the better. On the other hand, we have a prominent congressman who

00:06:32.240 is too afraid to invoke maybe the most fundamental principle of biology, which is that men are not 1.00

00:06:36.720 women. He just kind of smiles and delivers some platitudes about being nice to people. So as far as

00:06:42.860 contrasts go, it's not a flattering one. Now, this kind of thing had happened back in 2016.

00:06:48.280 Nobody would have batted an eye. Everyone understood back then that congressional Republicans

00:06:51.680 were following the Mitt Romney school of thought. The idea was pretty simple. Don't make Democrats

00:06:56.660 angry. Whatever you do, don't hurt their feelings. If you don't make them mad, maybe they'll be nice

00:07:02.720 to you. This was the genius political theory that animated the Republican Party for decades.

00:07:08.460 It didn't matter that voters had just defied every poll in existence and sent Donald Trump to the

00:07:12.300 White House. All Republicans cared about in 2016 was making sure the Democrats weren't going to call

00:07:16.800 them bigots. So if Democrats wanted to deny basic biology and claim that men can become women, 0.99

00:07:22.900 who are they to stand in their way? That was the prevailing sentiment. Well, that's not the

00:07:29.960 political reality anymore. Now, when members of Congress try something like this, Republican voters

00:07:35.660 don't let them get away with it. So within minutes of Mike Johnson's non-answer, there was significant

00:07:41.840 blowback, both inside the Capitol and all over social media. And it was enough that about two hours

00:07:48.160 later, Johnson called reporters back to deliver this clarification.

00:07:55.360 I just want to make a statement for all of you here and be very clear. I was asked a question this

00:08:00.160 morning at the leadership gaggle, and I rejected the premise because the answer is so obvious.

00:08:05.920 For anybody who doesn't know my well-established record on this issue, let me be unequivocally clear.

00:08:11.160 A man is a man, and a woman is a woman, and a man cannot become a woman. That said, I also believe, 1.00

00:08:20.400 that's what scripture teaches, what I just said, but I also believe that we treat everybody with

00:08:25.520 dignity. And so we can do and believe all those things at the same time. And I wanted to make that

00:08:31.100 clear for everybody because there's lots of questions, but that's where I stand. I've stood there my whole

00:08:34.560 life, and those are facts. Now, it's incredibly embarrassing that you have to call the reporters

00:08:42.020 back two hours later after having given it some thought to clarify that, in fact, you do believe

00:08:47.940 that biology is real. But still, it's good that he said that. And although it's still not a direct

00:08:53.380 response to the original question, which is whether McBride is a man or a woman, Johnson could

00:08:58.560 have come right out and answer that by stating the truth, which is that McBride is obviously a man.

00:09:03.020 But as a basic statement of biological reality, what Mike Johnson said here is clearly correct.

00:09:09.260 And it's a massive improvement over his original answer. And logically, it rejects any claim that

00:09:14.620 McBride is a woman, even if he didn't want to just come out and say that, although he should. 0.90

00:09:18.780 In other words, Johnson took the temperature and found out that he'd better plant himself firmly on

00:09:24.400 the side of sanity. That is the winning political hand, and also the morally right one.

00:09:30.080 Gender ideology is an affront to biology. It's an affront to Christianity. It's an affront 1.00

00:09:35.260 to logic. It's an affront to common sense. So by standing against it, you can be on the side of

00:09:42.180 truth, justice, common sense, and God Almighty, while also remaining on the winning political side.

00:09:49.280 It's the best of all possible worlds. Or you can stand against all of that, all that is right and

00:09:55.820 good in the world, and also against your own political interests. So it really should not

00:10:02.680 be a difficult choice. There is literally no advantage at all to kowtowing to gender ideology. 1.00

00:10:09.060 There is no benefit. It doesn't even require courage to stand against it anymore.

00:10:13.860 It did maybe five years ago, but not now. Now it's the obvious play now. Also, again,

00:10:21.880 it's the correct one. But just from a matter of pure politics, this is the smartest thing to do.

00:10:29.800 Now, over in the Democrat Party, however, gender ideology is still a centerpiece of their whole

00:10:35.060 agenda and worldview. And in fact, it's so potent on the left that it's the entire reason this

00:10:40.740 incoming lawmaker, quote, unquote, Sarah McBride, has risen to fame in the Democrat Party. Like most

00:10:46.600 trans activists, McBride is, among other things, rather one note. His entire political agenda and

00:10:53.000 identity centers around being trans. It's the only thing he's really interested in. That's all, 1.00

00:11:00.460 that's it. And on top of that, he's, of course, extraordinarily disingenuous. Here, for example,

00:11:05.000 was McBride arguing against a bill that would keep boys out of girls' sports. And this was his

00:11:10.720 line of questioning. So see if you can spot the logical fallacies here. Watch.

00:11:16.740 The motive, the stated motive behind this legislation is to address a perceived competitive

00:11:21.740 advantage within women and girls' sports. You know, one of the most significant competitive 0.99

00:11:26.460 disparities that exists is based on family wealth and those who can afford private coaching and those

00:11:32.320 who can't. And so I'm curious, this legislation does not forbid private coaching, correct?

00:11:38.180 This legislation is aimed at fairness in women's sports. It's to protect women's sports and to 0.99

00:11:45.780 protect women against injuries and protect them from losing opportunities for scholarships.

00:11:51.540 Okay. So to that comment and to some of the comments that were made before, my understanding is

00:11:57.720 that y'all are particularly concerned with a perceived biological or physiological advantage some

00:12:02.640 students may have. So I'm correct that this legislation does not forbid competition between

00:12:08.560 taller and shorter girls in basketball, correct? This legislation doesn't forbid competition, 1.00

00:12:13.860 for instance, between girls with different cardiovascular capacities, correct?

00:12:18.160 Absolutely not. No.

00:12:19.580 Okay. So the only difference between students of the same gender identity that this legislation

00:12:26.900 singles out for exclusion is based on a student's sex marker on their original birth certificate,

00:12:33.180 which specifically singles out those who are transgender.

00:12:36.500 No. It singles out biological males and separates them out of the equation as far as who's allowed to participate in female sports. 1.00

00:12:51.020 They're always so impressed with themselves when they make this argument, even though it's the dumbest argument known to man. 0.95

00:12:57.180 McBride's argument is that, which you hear all the time from trans activists, 0.96

00:13:01.280 is that because some women are better at sports than other women, there's no point in keeping men out of women's sports also. 1.00

00:13:09.960 There's a form of inequality that already exists in women's sports, so why not destroy women's sports entirely? 1.00

00:13:19.100 Taller women have an advantage over shorter women in basketball, therefore, let's end women's sports. 1.00

00:13:24.300 That's the argument. That's the logic.

00:13:25.940 And, of course, McBride delivers this line of questioning with total confidence and sincerity.

00:13:30.020 It really thinks that he has something here.

00:13:33.260 And it might be a compelling argument if you don't understand the concept of sports at all,

00:13:37.920 and if you've never watched any sort of sporting event in your entire life.

00:13:42.040 But for everybody else, the problem is pretty obvious.

00:13:45.160 The entire idea of competition is to establish a category and then explore the variation and skill within that fixed category.

00:13:54.960 Otherwise, the competition is unwatchable and one-sided.

00:13:58.060 That's why we have heavyweight and welterweight divisions in boxing.

00:14:02.000 It's why NFL teams don't compete against high schoolers.

00:14:05.400 And it's why men don't compete against women. 1.00

00:14:08.960 Sex differences are, by far, the most predictive factor to consider when you're trying to maximize competitiveness within a category.

00:14:16.200 That's why the moment a group of so-called trans men, quote-unquote, otherwise known as biological females, 0.95

00:14:23.320 otherwise known as just females, decided to form a soccer team in Spain to play against actual men, 1.00

00:14:28.520 they lost their first game by a score of 19-0.

00:14:31.440 It's why when two male athletes decided to compete in women's track in Connecticut,

00:14:36.280 they promptly broke 17 track records and won 15 state championship titles.

00:14:42.560 It's why a team of boys under the age of 15 soundly defeated the women's national soccer team by a score of 5-2.

00:14:49.160 Everyone intuitively knows what's going on here.

00:14:51.480 Men inherently are stronger and faster and therefore more competitive in athletics than women. 0.98

00:14:55.660 Everybody knows that.

00:14:57.640 And now, because Democrats insist on denying this, Republicans are going to have to codify the truth.

00:15:03.220 And this shouldn't be remotely necessary, but it is necessary now.

00:15:07.240 Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina has just introduced a rule,

00:15:10.820 which is what they were talking about with Mike Johnson there,

00:15:13.600 that would keep males like McBride out of women's bathrooms on Capitol Hill. 0.99

00:15:18.020 This rule would affirm that men and women are not the same thing, 1.00

00:15:21.320 and that men cannot transform into women,

00:15:23.340 and that women deserve to have privacy in the bathroom. 1.00

00:15:27.820 It is also, again, an easy political win.

00:15:31.660 The vast majority of Americans support it.

00:15:34.900 It was only a question of which Republican lawmaker would be smart enough to seize the moment here

00:15:40.080 and take this stand, and it turns out it was Nancy Mace.

00:15:43.240 Watch.

00:15:44.640 Is this effort in response to Congresswoman McBride's coming to Congress?

00:15:48.940 Yes, and absolutely, and then some.

00:15:50.780 I'm not going to stand for a man, you know, 1.00

00:15:54.160 if someone with a penis is in the women's locker room, that's not okay. 1.00

00:15:57.560 And I'm a victim of abuse myself. 0.99

00:16:00.000 I'm a rape survivor.

00:16:01.100 I have PTSD from the abuse I've suffered at the hands of a man.

00:16:04.440 And I know how vulnerable women and girls are in private spaces.

00:16:08.560 So I'm absolutely, 100% going to stand in the way

00:16:12.260 of any man who wants to be in a women's restroom,

00:16:15.960 in our locker rooms, in our changing rooms.

00:16:18.180 I will be there fighting you every step of the way.

00:16:20.940 Now, you'll notice, of course, that all the left-wing activists who are behind the Me Too movement

00:16:24.580 are silent about this.

00:16:28.200 None of them are taking Nancy Mace's side.

00:16:30.160 None of them care that she was raped and that she's worried about being assaulted again

00:16:33.360 by a man in a private space.

00:16:34.940 If you needed more evidence that the Me Too movement was a complete fraud, well, there it is.

00:16:40.080 They've always cared about just one thing,

00:16:41.620 which is advancing the interests of the Democrat Party.

00:16:43.480 So now it falls to Republicans like Mace to actually advance the interests of women here. 0.79

00:16:49.580 Now, later on, a reporter with ABC News tried to, again, shame Nancy Mace into backing down. 0.97

00:16:54.300 This was the theme for the day.

00:16:55.380 Reporters kept trying to badger her into changing her mind,

00:16:58.660 tried to badger her into agreeing to use the bathroom with a man.

00:17:03.700 Nothing creepy about that at all, right?

00:17:06.620 Watch.

00:17:08.100 Here she goes.

00:17:09.000 Here's Congresswoman Mace. 1.00

00:17:10.420 Congresswoman Mace, can I ask you a question as you walk here?

00:17:12.800 So, the question is, with your piece of legislation about banning women from using... 0.85

00:17:19.260 100%, yes.

00:17:20.100 My question to you is...

00:17:21.080 It doesn't go far enough.

00:17:22.140 I'll be filing more bills.

00:17:23.100 You have said that it was created in response to Congresswoman-elect McBride.

00:17:26.820 Absolutely, 100%.

00:17:27.620 And it...

00:17:28.520 But should legislation be created targeted at one specific person?

00:17:31.300 It doesn't mention anyone in the legislation, but I'm not...

00:17:33.600 But you've said it was aimed at her.

00:17:35.560 No, I have said it's a result of this.

00:17:37.520 I'm not going to allow biological men into women's private spaces. 1.00

00:17:40.780 I will stand in the brink and stand in the way of anyone on the radical left who thinks 0.99

00:17:44.760 that it's okay for a penis to be in a women's locker room or a bathroom or a changing room. 1.00

00:17:49.560 Hell no. 1.00

00:17:50.660 I am not going to stand for it.

00:17:52.180 And the Speaker said it would be in the House rules package.

00:17:54.420 If it's not, I'll be ready with a motion, a privileged motion, to force a vote on this.

00:17:59.280 This is not okay.

00:18:00.020 I'm a survivor of rape, I'm a survivor of sexual abuse, and I'm not going to allow any

00:18:04.580 man in any female private spaces.

00:18:06.940 End of story. 0.99

00:18:08.660 And by the way, I'm getting death threats from men pretending to be women. 1.00

00:18:12.380 Why is it that these crazy people, the insanity, the radical left, are willing to kill women 0.99

00:18:18.440 over a man's right to be in a women's restroom? 1.00

00:18:20.700 Speaker Johnson has said, Speaker Johnson has said, he wants to treat every new member

00:18:24.400 with the words dignity and respect.

00:18:26.940 Forcing this congressperson to go into a male restroom, is that dignity and respect? 0.59

00:18:31.300 Forcing women to share private spaces with men is not dignity and not respect.

00:18:36.360 Oh, you're going to force him to use the men's, like every other man, is, quote, forced? 0.93

00:18:45.240 No, of course, Nancy Mason is correct, that dignity, in this case, dignity and respect,

00:18:51.000 that it goes the other way, that the onus is on McBride to treat his female colleagues

00:19:00.660 with dignity and respect and respect their desire for privacy.

00:19:04.260 That's on him.

00:19:06.300 That's, that's, that the onus is entirely on him.

00:19:09.780 Now, they keep hitting Mace with this claim that her bill is targeting a particular member 0.99

00:19:14.240 of Congress.

00:19:15.440 Well, they know that's not true.

00:19:17.220 A bill can be motivated by the actions of one person without targeting a particular person.

00:19:22.500 Yeah, this, this person is, is, is who necessitated this bill.

00:19:27.260 The bill is necessary because of this person.

00:19:30.420 That doesn't mean that the bill targets, quote, unquote, that person.

00:19:34.820 And these reporters all know that, or at least they should know it, but because they're all

00:19:38.440 reading from the same talking points from the DNC, they just keep repeating the same

00:19:41.600 claim.

00:19:42.160 And Nancy Mace keeps demonstrating that they have no idea what they're talking about. 1.00

00:19:45.300 By the way, when she mentions death threats, she's talking about social media posts like

00:19:48.960 this one, where trans activists openly threatened to murder her.

00:19:52.460 Watch this video goes out to Congresswoman Nancy Mace.

00:19:58.140 Congresswoman Nancy Mace. 0.98

00:19:59.680 I hope that one day I do find you in that woman's bathroom and I grab your ratty looking 1.00

00:20:05.080 hair and drag your face down to the floor while I repeatedly bash it in until the blood's 1.00

00:20:14.100 everywhere and you're dead. 1.00

00:20:15.800 Thank you. 0.98

00:20:18.360 I hope that Nancy Mace receives this message well.

00:20:24.760 Kisses. 0.88

00:20:25.280 Extremely common, by the way, with these trans activists, violent fantasies. 1.00

00:20:34.240 This is one of the primary ways that they communicate their political views is through

00:20:40.840 this.

00:20:41.220 So this person, you know, this person is not praying in front of an abortion clinic, which

00:20:45.660 is usually how you get noticed by Merrick Garland's DOJ, but he does seem pretty unstable

00:20:50.740 and he's making a clear threat to murder a sitting Congresswoman.

00:20:55.200 So hopefully someone at the DOJ takes a look into this, but of course we can't count on that.

00:21:00.300 There was an industrial grade paper shredding truck outside of the DOJ yesterday, so they

00:21:04.860 probably have other things on their mind.

00:21:06.840 Here's what that looked like, by the way.

00:21:08.220 As you can see, the DOJ is apparently focused on destroying as much evidence as they can before

00:21:12.920 the new administration discovers what they've been doing for the past four years.

00:21:16.640 So maybe all the people threatening Nancy Mace just aren't a priority right now.

00:21:21.080 Now, obviously this person is unhinged, but the truth is he's not that far removed from

00:21:24.540 how trans activists normally behave and communicate, and everybody knows that. 0.97

00:21:29.600 Without exception, proponents of gender ideology are aggressive, unhinged, unstable, and as

00:21:34.800 Marjorie Taylor Greene pointed out in response to yet another hostile inquiry from the media,

00:21:40.320 people are sick of it.

00:21:41.600 They've had enough.

00:21:42.360 They're just not putting up with it anymore.

00:21:44.680 That's what this last election was about.

00:21:47.340 And this time around, Republicans in Congress are going to hopefully honor what their voters

00:21:52.560 want.

00:21:53.000 Watch.

00:21:53.240 I support a resolution that keeps all biological men out of women's bathrooms, locker rooms, 1.00

00:22:01.220 and private places.

00:22:03.200 Not only here in the Capitol complex, our office buildings, but all taxpayer-funded facilities.

00:22:10.020 How does one, I guess the logistics question would be, how does one check if someone is

00:22:15.300 qualified to use a ladies' room then in that case? 0.97

00:22:17.800 Obviously, there's a new openly transgender member of Congress. 0.98

00:22:19.980 Right, which is a man.

00:22:21.580 He's a man.

00:22:23.120 He's a biological male.

00:22:25.420 So he is not allowed to use our women's restrooms, our women's gym, our locker rooms, and our spaces

00:22:33.280 that are specified for women. 1.00

00:22:36.820 He's a biological male.

00:22:38.320 He has plenty of places he can go.

00:22:41.020 Okay.

00:22:41.380 And should they make, I guess, like gender-neutral bathrooms?

00:22:44.380 No, he can go in the men's room.

00:22:46.780 And he has a bathroom in his office, just like all of us do.

00:22:49.360 And that's where, you know, I use the restroom most of the time in my office.

00:22:53.840 If he has a bathroom, that'll be, you know, designated for him.

00:22:58.760 But, you know, men need to, they need to respect our spaces.

00:23:02.540 And that's what this election was all about.

00:23:04.700 This was a mandate from the American people that are not only fed up with the open borders,

00:23:09.440 they're fed up with inflation, they're fed up with the economy, but they're fed up with

00:23:12.860 the left shoving their sick trans ideology down our throats and invading our spaces and 0.87

00:23:18.680 our women's sports. 0.98

00:23:20.020 So, sorry for the uncomfortable question, but I'm giving you the direct answer.

00:23:24.080 The American people spoke at the election.

00:23:26.360 They're sick of this. 0.97

00:23:27.200 So, you see, you hear the question to start there, just more disingenuous bullcrap about,

00:23:36.520 well, how are we going to, how would you check?

00:23:38.780 How would you know if somebody was a man or not entering the women's room?

00:23:43.240 As if it's not completely obvious, like 99.9% of the time.

00:23:48.040 You always get this, well, what are you going to check, people?

00:23:50.220 How do you know?

00:23:51.020 How do you know if it's a, 99.9% of the time, it's not, it's pretty, it's obvious.

00:23:56.160 Okay, we all know, it's not hard to tell, all right?

00:24:00.080 So, this is a non-issue.

00:24:02.680 And by the end of the week, every single reporter on Capitol Hill will have asked an indignant

00:24:06.180 question about this.

00:24:07.260 They're all outraged that women would possibly want to exclude men from women's bathrooms.

00:24:11.760 They can't articulate why, but they're outraged by it.

00:24:14.180 And one by one, they're being told the truth, which is that Americans want this insanity to

00:24:17.820 end, and so it's going to end.

00:24:20.980 Several Republican members of Congress, in addition to Nancy Mason, Marjorie Taylor Greene, 0.66

00:24:24.120 have made that clear.

00:24:25.080 Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett, for example, wrote on X, quote, he's a dude in the dress,

00:24:31.000 referring to McBride.

00:24:32.000 And of course, Burchett says he'll support Mace's rule banning men from entering women's

00:24:36.120 spaces.

00:24:37.360 This should be the baseline expectation for every member of Congress going forward.

00:24:41.280 Any Republican who doesn't support a measure to keep men out of women's bathrooms should 1.00

00:24:45.060 be shamed, humiliated, and voted out of office at the earliest opportunity.

00:24:49.400 Because this is as easy as it gets.

00:24:51.800 Every Republican must be on board, no exceptions.

00:24:54.220 This is a question of whether the incoming Congress will operate within the bounds of

00:25:00.140 reality, or if they're willing to suspend reality for the sake of catering to the most

00:25:04.680 radical elements of left-wing ideology.

00:25:07.320 The correct choice is clear and obvious, and it's time that every Republican made it.

00:25:12.840 As I've outlined many times before, you know, the alternative is disastrous.

00:25:18.300 Once you agree that reality is subjective, you have no basis to object to anything, you

00:25:22.100 forfeit all of your rights, you can't make any kind of rational argument, you have to

00:25:25.960 accept the whims of left-wing activists who will do whatever they can to destroy you and

00:25:29.440 your family.

00:25:29.940 I mean, that's always what's been at stake here.

00:25:31.500 This is not a hypothetical.

00:25:33.840 It's happening right now.

00:25:34.660 This week, we learned that a California judge has apparently given the go-ahead for the castration

00:25:39.300 of the 12-year-old son of a man named Jeff Younger, who we've talked about on the show

00:25:43.460 many times over the years.

00:25:45.100 Younger's ex-wife moved with a child from Texas to California, a so-called sanctuary state

00:25:49.160 for trans experimentation on children. 1.00

00:25:51.660 And now Younger has lost all parental rights and access to his son, all because he wouldn't

00:25:56.000 affirm his son's alleged gender identity.

00:25:59.300 This is where all the supposedly humanitarian arguments in favor of gender ideology always

00:26:03.500 end up.

00:26:04.700 They lead to the most inhumane, authoritarian outcomes possible.

00:26:09.980 But even if they didn't, even if there were no consequences whatsoever to embracing this

00:26:14.520 demented ideology, it would still be wrong to embrace it because it's fundamentally untrue,

00:26:19.640 and it's always been untrue.

00:26:22.600 One of the many reasons to be optimistic about the next four years is that finally, even Republicans

00:26:28.180 in Congress are willing to say that out loud.

00:26:32.500 Now let's get to our five headlines.

00:26:39.560 Let me tell you about a looming threat to our constitutional republic that the mainstream

00:26:43.420 media won't cover.

00:26:44.840 The radical left is plotting a Supreme Court coup, and they're not even hiding it anymore,

00:26:48.820 folks.

00:26:49.340 You know, these progressive ideologues want to eliminate the court's conservative majority

00:26:52.940 by packing it with their own handpicked justices.

00:26:55.700 It's not court reform.

00:26:56.960 It's a blatant power grab to get the outcomes they want.

00:26:59.840 You know, we've already seen their playbook, made up ethical attacks on justices, illegal

00:27:03.420 protests at their homes, and open threats from so-called representatives.

00:27:07.220 It's Venezuela-style court packing, and it would spell the end of judicial independence

00:27:11.260 and the rule of law as we know it.

00:27:12.880 But hey, who needs checks and balances when you can have a rubber stamp for your radical

00:27:16.220 agenda?

00:27:16.580 But there's hope.

00:27:17.340 First Liberty is leading the charge to protect the Supreme Court from this radical plan.

00:27:21.180 They're fighting to preserve the legitimacy of the court and the separation of powers that

00:27:24.600 safeguards our freedoms.

00:27:26.120 Here's what you need to do.

00:27:34.460 the Supreme Court.

00:27:35.540 The future of our country is quite literally in your hands.

00:27:37.780 Check out SupremeCoup.com slash Walsh today.

00:27:40.940 Last week, we discussed the bombshell report from the Daily Wire revealing that a FEMA official

00:27:44.560 had directed her subordinates to avoid homes with Trump signs while they were on the ground

00:27:49.800 in Florida providing disaster relief.

00:27:52.900 The official was fired, but has since gone around claiming that contrary to what the head

00:27:58.660 of FEMA, Deanne Criswell, has said, she's claimed that actually she was not a lone outlier

00:28:05.140 telling people to avoid Trump-supporting homes.

00:28:07.820 She said this is standard practice at FEMA.

00:28:10.980 This is an endemic, systemic issue.

00:28:15.760 And this is according to the woman who did this and was fired for it.

00:28:20.040 Yesterday, the House Oversight Committee brought Criswell in and grilled her about all of this.

00:28:25.320 And I want to go through and play a couple of clips from the hearing.

00:28:28.420 And we'll start with this one.

00:28:29.280 The House Oversight Committee chairman, James Comer, revealed during the hearing that he

00:28:34.780 had made contact with a new whistleblower who had more information.

00:28:39.200 Listen to this.

00:28:39.740 During the recess for votes, my staff made contact with a new whistleblower who provided a credible

00:28:47.020 account that a FEMA contractor visited the home of an elderly disabled veteran's family

00:28:52.380 around October 10th following Hurricane Helene.

00:28:57.220 While there, the FEMA contractor recommended that the family remove Trump campaign materials and signs from both their house and their yard.

00:29:06.440 He warned the family that his FEMA supervisors do not take kindly to Trump supporters

00:29:11.740 and that they seem as domestic terrorists.

00:29:16.760 The elderly homeowners were so frightened by this and afraid that they would not recover their loss that they removed all Trump materials and signs.

00:29:24.020 Nevertheless, FEMA has not returned to their residence.

00:29:28.480 This took place not in Florida, but in Georgia.

00:29:31.960 Administrator, we're happy to provide you with more information on this.

00:29:35.860 But we and the American people want to know what FEMA is doing to ensure that political discrimination is not dictating how the American people are receiving aid following a disaster.

00:29:48.180 So that directly lines up with what the fired FEMA official said.

00:29:51.620 It also makes the most sense.

00:29:52.860 You know, as I said, when the story was first reported, there's no way that some lone official for for at FEMA operating entirely on her own would casually put in writing these instructions to avoid homes with Trump signs.

00:30:06.640 That doesn't happen unless this really is a standard practice.

00:30:09.340 And therefore, she had no fear or thought she had no reason to fear that this would ever come out and blow back on her.

00:30:17.580 But nonetheless, Deanne Criswell is sticking to her story.

00:30:22.320 Watch.

00:30:23.340 Thank you, Mr. Chairman.

00:30:26.000 Administrator Criswell, is Miss Washington lying to us?

00:30:31.040 Miss Washington has.

00:30:34.300 She said it's common practice.

00:30:35.900 You said it's reprehensible and isolated.

00:30:38.560 Both statements can't be true.

00:30:40.180 So someone's not giving us the facts.

00:30:41.900 And I'm kind of trying to figure out who's not telling the truth.

00:30:45.300 The actions that Miss Washington took were unacceptable. 0.98

00:30:50.100 Well, you had another employee.

00:30:51.540 Now, they remain anonymous, but I think one of my colleagues pointed this out earlier.

00:30:54.840 A FEMA official who spoke on condition of anonymity said Miss Washington likely received, quote, very clear guidance from her supervisors.

00:31:02.260 Is that not that person lying, too?

00:31:04.260 I have not received any evidence outside of the screenshot that Miss Washington directed.

00:31:10.700 So those two people are wrong.

00:31:12.060 They're not telling the truth to us.

00:31:13.080 We are currently investigating this issue and bringing in the IG.

00:31:15.260 But that's not what you said.

00:31:16.240 You said this is isolated, reprehensible, hasn't happened.

00:31:19.140 This is the only time.

00:31:20.380 And they're saying, nope, nope, nope.

00:31:21.720 It's commonplace.

00:31:22.560 The part about avoiding the Trump homes, that's not a best practice.

00:31:25.840 That's not commonplace.

00:31:26.700 Is that what you're saying?

00:31:27.540 That is nowhere in our policy.

00:31:29.340 And I can't speak to the motivations behind what Miss Washington did. 0.81

00:31:33.500 But it was, okay.

00:31:34.540 Now, her supervisor, this is Mr. Hershey.

00:31:36.480 Have you talked to him to find out if he knew this was happening?

00:31:40.680 I understand that he was in her chain of command.

00:31:43.540 And this is under investigation.

00:31:45.360 Have you talked to, there's 13 people on this text message.

00:31:47.740 Have you talked to all 13 of those individuals?

00:31:49.860 This incident is under investigation.

00:31:52.480 That's not what I asked you.

00:31:53.320 I know it's under investigation.

00:31:54.420 We know how investigations work when it's done inside the agency.

00:31:57.400 It takes forever.

00:31:58.300 I'm asking, did you talk to the 13 people on this best practices text message?

00:32:03.640 The Office of Professional Responsibility has taken this,

00:32:06.680 and they are following appropriate protocol to investigate.

00:32:09.160 Is the Inspector General looking at it as well?

00:32:10.920 And I have asked the Inspector General to take a look at this.

00:32:13.500 Any idea when they're going to talk to these 13 people since you have it?

00:32:17.260 Have you talked to, how about you personally?

00:32:18.740 Have you talked to any of these 13 people?

00:32:19.880 I have not talked to them personally.

00:32:21.140 You have not talked to any of them?

00:32:21.600 I have an entire team that focuses on this investigation,

00:32:25.260 and that's what they're doing.

00:32:26.960 Okay, so Criswell has not talked to any of the people who received the text message

00:32:29.820 telling them to avoid Trump homes.

00:32:31.920 She also repeatedly says that the incident's still under investigation,

00:32:34.800 yet she declared that it's not a systemic problem and that it's isolated.

00:32:40.660 So she knows it's an isolated loan issue,

00:32:43.380 and yet it's still under investigation.

00:32:46.440 She can't say anything else other than that.

00:32:48.740 Well, if it's still under investigation,

00:32:50.160 then how do you know that it's a lone incident?

00:32:52.020 How do you know that it's isolated?

00:32:54.020 It's almost like this investigation has already determined its conclusions ahead of time.

00:32:59.200 You know, it's almost like any investigation

00:33:04.020 is going to be a sham when it's an agency investigating itself.

00:33:09.420 What a shocker that the investigation that Deanne Criswell is directing,

00:33:18.700 that that investigation will not turn up the results that tell us that Deanne Criswell is at fault.

00:33:25.200 Deanne Criswell is going to do an investigation which will tell her that Deanne Criswell didn't do anything wrong.

00:33:31.060 And this is how the hearing went.

00:33:33.840 I'm glad it happened.

00:33:34.820 It needed to happen.

00:33:35.720 But Criswell just stonewalled the whole time,

00:33:37.440 which is why we need to make sure this goes beyond hearings.

00:33:40.720 People need to go to jail for this.

00:33:42.420 This has to end with people in jail.

00:33:44.700 And that's the part where Republicans historically have failed to follow through.

00:33:48.280 Usually they do the hearings and we enjoy the hearings and they, you know,

00:33:52.880 they give their speeches to the person and say how terrible they are.

00:33:56.600 And then nothing else happens.

00:33:59.440 The part where people actually held accountable and punished,

00:34:02.620 that's what we don't see.

00:34:04.140 And that's what needs to change.

00:34:07.200 Hopefully it will.

00:34:08.000 I also want to play this clip.

00:34:09.260 AOC was at the hearing too.

00:34:10.700 And she very clearly did not want to talk about this.

00:34:14.680 She didn't want to find out any more about this scandal.

00:34:18.520 She was desperate to run cover for Deanne Criswell and FEMA. 0.65

00:34:22.960 And she was not subtle about it. 0.99

00:34:25.260 So this is quite pathetic. 0.99

00:34:27.980 Watch. 0.98

00:34:28.920 And I'm going to ask you if this is true or not.

00:34:31.300 And I apologize that I even have to ask you some of these things.

00:34:35.160 But I think it's important for the American people to see in a setting like this,

00:34:38.980 where we have to swear to tell the truth,

00:34:41.640 that we see officially on the record that these things are not true.

00:34:45.440 The first being that the suggestion that FEMA assistance was only a $750 loan that would

00:34:54.360 have to be paid back.

00:34:56.380 And if not, FEMA would seize the homes of everyday people who may not be able to make

00:35:02.840 that back in such a catastrophic moment.

00:35:04.760 Is that correct?

00:35:05.820 That is completely inaccurate.

00:35:07.240 Completely false.

00:35:08.320 Correct.

00:35:08.520 But was it in your assessment, and did you see lots of people believing this on the ground

00:35:14.120 or in the field?

00:35:15.080 I was on the ground for over three weeks in North Carolina.

00:35:18.820 And I did hear from people on the ground asking me, is this real or is this not real?

00:35:23.580 Another one that I also saw very widely circulated, that FEMA did not have enough money to provide

00:35:32.000 relief services because that allocation of funds went to either undocumented immigrants,

00:35:38.560 aid to Ukraine, or even aid to the Israeli government.

00:35:42.860 Is that correct, that FEMA's funds were allocated away to those causes?

00:35:46.820 Completely inaccurate.

00:35:48.000 Completely false.

00:35:50.000 On the record, completely false.

00:35:51.880 Correct.

00:35:52.320 Correct.

00:35:52.460 And other things that we've seen as well, that it's standing policy for FEMA to politically

00:36:00.260 discriminate, we know that that's not true, correct?

00:36:02.500 Correct.

00:36:03.020 And there was an incident, we see, but that individual was fired and that this is not

00:36:08.660 a policy at scale, correct?

00:36:10.380 Correct.

00:36:11.940 Now, we know that these are important pieces, very large and influential pieces of disinformation.

00:36:18.560 Okay, so AOC runs through some irrelevant claims.

00:36:21.680 And rumors about FEMA that have nothing to do with the subject at hand.

00:36:26.260 And then she finally gets to the actual topic they're supposed to be investigating.

00:36:29.200 And she waves it away as a total non-issue.

00:36:32.660 She calls it an incident.

00:36:35.740 And then even says that we know, we all know that it's not a policy for FEMA to politically

00:36:41.680 discriminate.

00:36:43.040 We know that.

00:36:44.380 We all know that.

00:36:45.460 How do we know that?

00:36:46.480 How do we know that FEMA doesn't politically discriminate, even though it's just been confirmed

00:36:50.000 that they do?

00:36:51.060 How do we know that?

00:36:52.180 Well, we just do.

00:36:52.880 We know it.

00:36:53.320 We all know that.

00:36:55.540 AOC can't explain how, but she knows that we know.

00:36:59.580 She never asks Criswell a single question about it.

00:37:02.080 She just says, we know that this stuff isn't true, that we're right, correct, correct.

00:37:10.000 And that's it.

00:37:10.680 Then she moves past it.

00:37:11.520 And, you know, I guess maybe in keeping with the theme of the show so far, people not doing

00:37:20.040 things that would be even politically expedient for them.

00:37:22.900 Like, this doesn't, AOC's approach here doesn't even make sense politically.

00:37:27.880 There's no political reason why she needs to jump in front of the train to protect some 1.00

00:37:33.220 awful FEMA bureaucrat who's going to be fired soon anyway. 1.00

00:37:36.540 Nobody is claiming that AOC herself had personally had anything to do with this.

00:37:43.440 I mean, it wouldn't surprise me if she did, but that's not what anyone is expecting.

00:37:46.620 So AOC doesn't need to debase herself this way. 1.00

00:37:49.420 In fact, this is an easy political win for her. 0.70

00:37:52.820 This is also a softball.

00:37:54.340 She could have gotten up there and actually questioned Criswell in a serious and skeptical

00:37:57.520 way.

00:37:57.980 She could have acted like she cared about political discrimination. 1.00

00:38:01.220 She could have given a little speech about how Trump supporters are, you know, deserve to

00:38:05.140 be treated equally by the government.

00:38:06.880 And then ripped into Criswell and interrogated her and made kind of a show of it.

00:38:10.740 That would have been a win for her. 0.94

00:38:12.560 That's a win-win politically.

00:38:14.960 She looks good.

00:38:16.100 She makes the Democrat Party look good, makes it look like they had nothing to do with this. 0.60

00:38:21.280 And you're just throwing this woman under the bus. 0.99

00:38:26.640 She deserves to be thrown under the bus. 1.00

00:38:29.420 Easy. 1.00

00:38:30.120 Win-win.

00:38:30.840 Why not do that?

00:38:33.160 But she can't bring herself to do it.

00:38:34.740 This is how much these people despise you.

00:38:38.380 This is how much they despise you.

00:38:40.180 Even if it would benefit her.

00:38:42.460 This is a huge win.

00:38:43.800 If she had just gone up there and said, this is unconscionable.

00:38:47.080 This cannot be allowed.

00:38:49.120 We know that this goes deeper than one person.

00:38:52.320 You know, we won't stand for this.

00:38:54.700 I disagree with Trump supporters on many things, but they deserve to be treated equally by the government.

00:38:58.720 Like, she could have said that.

00:38:59.720 It would have been a popular thing to say.

00:39:02.440 It would be true.

00:39:03.400 It would be the right thing to say.

00:39:05.820 She can't bring herself to do it.

00:39:09.800 And she can't because she just hates.

00:39:13.960 It really is as simple as that.

00:39:15.460 She just hates you. 1.00

00:39:17.180 She hates Trump supporters.

00:39:19.140 And, you know, she can't even pretend.

00:39:25.200 She can't stomach even pretending that she cares about Trump supporters.

00:39:30.620 That's how much she hates them.

00:39:32.140 It's pretty amazing.

00:39:33.880 Let's see.

00:39:35.200 BBC reports.

00:39:36.960 President-elect Donald Trump has confirmed on a social media network that he plans to use the U.S. military to carry out a mass deportation of undocumented migrants.

00:39:43.680 On Monday, he posted true in response to a conservative commentator who wrote that Trump would declare a national emergency and use military assets to lead a mass deportation program.

00:39:52.640 A campaign event Trump repeatedly pledged to mobilize the National Guard to assist immigration and customs enforcement.

00:39:57.980 The federal agency tasked with carrying out deportations.

00:40:01.420 So that's the plan.

00:40:02.540 And he plans to mobilize the National Guard to help with the deportations.

00:40:05.620 Sounds like a great idea to me.

00:40:07.600 Great use of the National Guard.

00:40:09.260 And the left, of course, is not happy about it.

00:40:11.340 In fact, one commentator on CNN is so unhappy that she pledged to physically prevent U.S. troops from carrying out these orders.

00:40:20.160 Listen to this.

00:40:21.320 I promise you, with every fiber of my being, because I'll probably be one of those people, that if anybody comes to these people and tries to drag them out by force,

00:40:28.440 there will be protests of people like me, American citizens, who are going to stand there and do everything possible to prevent these women and children, 0.66

00:40:35.820 which is all who these people are.

00:40:38.080 How about the criminals?

00:40:38.960 How about the terrorists?

00:40:39.920 How about the community?

00:40:40.320 How do you sort through them?

00:40:41.140 How do you know who it is?

00:40:41.820 How do you sort through them?

00:40:42.720 That's the problem.

00:40:43.680 I don't know who it is.

00:40:44.640 Stop, stop, stop.

00:40:45.180 I'm sorry.

00:40:45.560 I live next to these people.

00:40:46.760 I can tell you they are women and they are children.

00:40:48.580 Are there terrorists among them?

00:40:49.600 I don't know.

00:40:50.280 But I can tell you that they are.

00:40:50.880 And neither does the government.

00:40:51.700 But what I'm telling you right now, practically speaking, is that there will be people, American citizens,

00:40:58.800 who will prevent these little kids from being dragged out of these shelters.

00:41:03.580 There are.

00:41:04.100 And what's going to happen to these people?

00:41:05.800 What is going to happen to the military when the military opens fire on us?

00:41:09.380 No one's.

00:41:10.160 Okay.

00:41:10.620 Hang on a sec, Chuck.

00:41:11.620 We're way down a rabbit hole here.

00:41:13.920 Okay.

00:41:14.440 So that's Julie, or whatever her last name was, CNN commentator. 0.64

00:41:18.880 We're talking about the women and children.

00:41:23.600 They're women and children. 1.00

00:41:24.920 Are there some terrorists?

00:41:25.960 I don't know.

00:41:26.540 But they're also women and children. 1.00

00:41:29.000 And just, you know, ignoring the fact that, pretending that all of the huddled masses that are coming to America, 0.99

00:41:37.860 it's nothing but women and children.

00:41:39.640 Which, by the way, you know, as a Democrat, it's always funny when Democrats still try to use that line.

00:41:45.820 Think of the women and children.

00:41:46.960 Children, okay, you don't know what a woman is, and you think children should die in the womb. 1.00

00:41:51.360 So you're not really qualified to be using the women and children card here.

00:41:58.720 But regardless, she says that she's going to physically, she's going to stand in front of the military.

00:42:06.100 So, first of all, Julie, you ain't doing, okay, so, yeah, you're not going to throw yourself in front of a tank.

00:42:12.520 Not that Trump's going to use tanks to deport immigrants.

00:42:15.220 I'd be fine if he did, but he's not going to.

00:42:18.360 You're not doing that.

00:42:19.600 You're going to be on TV crying about it.

00:42:21.580 That's what you're going to do.

00:42:22.360 That's all you're going to do.

00:42:23.420 That's the only thing you're going to do.

00:42:25.360 And also, by the way, not to get into semantics here, but we keep hearing about it.

00:42:29.380 We heard it from Julie there that the illegal immigrants are going to be dragged.

00:42:33.420 You're going to drag these people. 1.00

00:42:35.100 You're going to drag them out of their shelters and their homes.

00:42:39.600 Well, in the vast majority of cases, they're not going to be dragged.

00:42:43.880 Why would they be dragged?

00:42:45.680 That's wasted effort.

00:42:47.380 No, they're going to walk.

00:42:48.320 They're going to be escorted into vans, and they're going to be taken to planes and or

00:42:55.540 taken to buses and transported to their home countries.

00:43:00.200 That's it.

00:43:00.680 I mean, in the vast majority of cases, it's going to be a very orderly thing.

00:43:03.580 There's no reason why anyone would be dragged.

00:43:05.220 They don't need to be dragged.

00:43:07.920 You know, the authorities are going to show up, and they're going to say, okay, time to go.

00:43:12.260 We're taking you back to your home.

00:43:13.640 You don't belong here.

00:43:14.400 You're not here legally, and that's it. 0.91

00:43:17.960 If they're dragged, it's only because they're refusing to leave.

00:43:22.380 And in that case, you have no choice but to drag them. 0.80

00:43:24.320 What are you supposed to do?

00:43:26.060 When you go to enforce your immigration laws, you say, well, we got to take you back to your 1.00

00:43:29.460 home.

00:43:29.780 You're not supposed to be here.

00:43:31.420 If they say, no, I'm not leaving.

00:43:34.640 What are we supposed to say?

00:43:35.440 Well, okay, well, if you don't want to, then never mind.

00:43:38.120 Oh, well, if you don't want to.

00:43:40.400 Oh, you'd rather not?

00:43:41.620 You'd rather not be deported?

00:43:42.700 Well, okay, then.

00:43:43.460 No, well, yeah, in that case, you do have to drag them.

00:43:45.720 But I think that most, it won't come to that in most cases.

00:43:50.820 I actually think that in most cases, the scene will not be nearly as dramatic as the CNN

00:44:01.120 commentators are predicting and claiming.

00:44:04.800 Mass deportations in practice will actually be, for the most part, pretty boring.

00:44:09.200 You know, it's, it's, it's, it's not going to be this big dramatic scene.

00:44:15.880 There's no reason why it needs to be.

00:44:17.100 And if it does become that, it's going to be the fault of the illegal immigrants who are not 0.99

00:44:23.000 cooperating.

00:44:25.020 When a country that they have not, they have illegally entered tries to simply enforce its 0.56

00:44:29.320 own laws.

00:44:32.580 Will there be mass protests against these deportations, as is also being predicted?

00:44:38.360 We'll see.

00:44:39.700 But I, I, I have to say, I doubt that as well.

00:44:42.920 Sure.

00:44:43.360 There will be protests.

00:44:45.220 And we know the left is very good at ginning up protests on fraudulent grounds.

00:44:50.300 They're very good at, you know, using hoaxes and using out of context things to, to gin up protests.

00:44:57.180 They've done that many, many times.

00:45:00.720 They're going to be looking for their kind of George Floyd of illegal immigrants. 0.99

00:45:06.240 They're going to be looking for an illegal immigrant George Floyd moment. 0.94

00:45:09.380 That's what they're praying for.

00:45:11.980 They are, they are fantasizing about it right now.

00:45:16.140 They would love for that to happen.

00:45:18.020 So they'll be looking for that.

00:45:19.200 Maybe they'll, maybe they'll get it.

00:45:21.140 And maybe if it doesn't, it doesn't happen.

00:45:23.120 They'll pretend.

00:45:24.780 So there will be protests.

00:45:26.180 We also know the left's good at not only ginning up protests, but also they know how to pay for them.

00:45:33.020 If, if, if they can't get people to protest, you can always pay to have people come out and protest.

00:45:36.180 So they'll do all that.

00:45:37.240 But I don't think that there will be a kind of popular uprising against deportations.

00:45:43.020 I think that most Americans will, will be perfectly fine with it.

00:45:50.300 Because most Americans have their own problems.

00:45:52.420 You got your own family to take care of.

00:45:53.940 These are people that are not supposed to be in the country anyway. 0.98

00:45:57.760 The law is being enforced in a, in a fair and orderly way.

00:46:03.400 And that's just not the kind of thing that's going to infuriate most Americans.

00:46:09.560 Why would it?

00:46:12.500 But I'm going to go out and protest because the law is, because a basic law that every country has and every country enforces, that that law is being enforced.

00:46:20.540 We're supposed to suspend our laws, abolish our national sovereignty for the sake of these people.

00:46:27.260 Why would we do that?

00:46:30.000 The law is not suspended for me.

00:46:32.340 Okay.

00:46:32.560 This is what most Americans are going to say to themselves.

00:46:34.460 But they're not, no one's spending the law for me.

00:46:36.920 If I break the law, I'm held accountable.

00:46:38.420 So why should it be suspended for them?

00:46:41.820 What makes them special?

00:46:45.880 I think that will be the calculation that most Americans make.

00:46:48.180 And that's, and that's why mass deportations are actually, have popular widespread mass appeal and, and approval on both sides of the aisle.

00:46:56.800 And I don't think that's going to, everyone, I think there are a lot of people that think, well, that's going to change once they start actually doing it.

00:47:02.880 And we have these visuals, these very upsetting visuals.

00:47:06.520 Like I said, why would the visuals be upsetting?

00:47:10.040 I think, I think there'll be wonderful visuals.

00:47:12.740 Because they're, they are visuals of the law being enforced and our national sovereignty being restored.

00:47:19.700 I can't wait to see it.

00:47:20.800 I can't wait to see that happen.

00:47:23.360 So I think that's where most people are on this.

00:47:27.240 Natural disasters are becoming more frequent and devastating, folks.

00:47:30.540 From the Maui fires to Hurricane Helene, seeing entire towns wiped out in 24 hours with barely any warning.

00:47:36.300 And what happens?

00:47:37.540 People are left without basic resources, scrambling to survive.

00:47:41.160 Now, I know what you're thinking.

00:47:42.160 It won't happen here.

00:47:43.100 That's exactly what everyone thinks until they're in the middle of a catastrophe.

00:47:46.320 Being prepared isn't just smart, it's essential.

00:49:28.440 Now let's get to our daily cancellation.

00:49:29.540 We began the show by talking about how Republicans in Washington are finally getting serious about

00:49:39.800 rejecting the idea that men can become women and vice versa.

00:49:43.120 Nancy Mace introduced legislation that would keep men out of women's bathrooms on Capitol 1.00

00:49:46.320 Hill, in part because it's necessary to protect women. 1.00

00:49:48.820 It's also common sense because biologically, men and women aren't the same thing.

00:49:52.500 Of course, it's not just Capitol Hill that's wrestling with this issue.

00:49:54.600 Nancy Mace is using the same logic that just a few years ago led a Korean spa near Seattle 0.98

00:50:00.220 to come up with a policy of only allowing entry to, quote, biological women. 1.00

00:50:05.380 This spa called Olympus Spa is fashioned after something called jimjilbang, probably pronouncing

00:50:12.620 that wrong, but apparently an exotic term that means that patrons have to be nude, I guess

00:50:18.020 is the basic idea.

00:50:18.900 Facilities at the spa include, quote, a bath area containing multiple whirlpools, a traditional

00:50:24.560 Korean body scrub service area, standing showers, sit-down showers, a steam room, and a dry sauna.

00:50:30.280 So it's a full service spa, apparently, and every single one of these stations requires some

00:50:34.980 degree of nudity in keeping with the principles of that word I can't pronounce and won't attempt

00:50:39.700 again.

00:50:40.040 Therefore, because people's bodies were going to be exposed at various locations within this

00:50:45.180 full service establishment, the spa decided that men shouldn't be allowed inside the spa. 0.99

00:50:51.940 Now, just to be clear, before we go any further, I should note that Olympus Spa is distinct from

00:50:56.040 the WeSpa, which you might remember from this viral clip involving its own policies on biological

00:51:01.880 women. 0.81

00:51:03.000 WeSpa, unlike Olympus Spa, had no problem allowing men into women's spaces, a policy that ultimately

00:51:08.780 produced this immortal footage.

00:51:11.280 Let's watch it again.

00:51:12.420 WeSpa is an agreement with men that just say they are a woman and they can go down there 1.00

00:51:19.340 with their penis and get into the women's section. 1.00

00:51:22.980 Is that what you're saying? 1.00

00:51:25.280 What, what, really?

00:51:26.480 What law?

00:51:27.180 What law? 0.98

00:51:29.100 So women can go into the men's with their breasts. 1.00

00:51:33.180 Okay. 0.96

00:51:33.620 Yeah, you shouldn't.

00:51:36.540 Y'all wouldn't come back either.

00:51:38.260 Yeah, get your money back. 1.00

00:51:40.160 You got a man with his penis talking about, he's a woman. 1.00

00:51:43.600 He ain't no woman. 1.00

00:51:45.020 Uh-uh.

00:51:46.240 Yeah, give her her money back. 0.99

00:51:49.180 There's no such thing as transgender. 1.00

00:51:50.820 He has a dick. 1.00

00:51:52.540 Okay. 1.00

00:51:52.860 He has a penis. 1.00

00:51:54.640 He has penis and hanging out. 1.00

00:51:56.760 Okay, no, I'm not one. 1.00

00:51:58.000 Actually, I'm a woman who knows how to stand up and speak up for my right.

00:52:01.080 As a woman, I have a right to feel comfortable without a man exposing himself.

00:52:07.840 Okay?

00:52:08.360 No, you go somewhere else.

00:52:11.060 Again, that's WeSpa, which is distinct from Olympus Spa.

00:52:13.640 But it does give you a sense of how common this issue is and how women feel about men invading their private spaces.

00:52:19.380 Now, for its part, Olympus Spa asserted a variety of justifications for its women's only policy, including the freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, also common sense.

00:52:29.940 They stated that, quote, women are in a vulnerable position when they're unclothed and or having treatment while unclothed, and we seek to ensure that they feel their privacy and rights are respected.

00:52:38.260 To that end, the spa specifically denied entry to men, as well as any self-identifying transgender women, quote, unquote, who had not undergone bottom surgery.

00:52:49.120 Now, already, you may have noticed that there are some obvious issues with the spa's policy.

00:52:52.780 In particular, it doesn't go nearly far enough.

00:52:55.660 I mean, for one thing, there's no distinction between a biological woman and a woman.

00:52:59.440 All women are biological women. 1.00

00:53:01.040 If a woman isn't a biological woman, then she isn't a woman at all. 1.00

00:53:04.640 And that's determined at a fundamental chromosomal level.

00:53:07.480 Also, no amount of bottom surgery changes that. 0.95

00:53:11.360 Just because a man has had his genitals cut off doesn't mean that he should be allowed in a private, confined space with naked women. 1.00

00:53:17.020 If anything, it gives women even more reasons to be uncomfortable with his presence. 0.60

00:53:20.940 In any event, the reason for the policy, such as it is, is pretty clear.

00:53:26.240 Naked women don't want to be around naked male strangers. 1.00

00:53:29.220 That's why Olympus Spa reports that in recent years there have been very alarming incidents 0.52

00:53:34.760 in which males have, quote, penetrated the interior of an Olympus spa facility.

00:53:39.840 And in one instance, according to a federal court, an individual with male genitals was roaming around the spa.

00:53:45.140 This turned out to be a trans-identifying customer.

00:53:47.160 And ultimately, several customers requested refunds and left the spa.

00:53:50.900 There have also been situations in which patrons, quote, noticed male genitals exposed in locker room and or pool areas.

00:53:58.880 And as a result, experienced, quote, humiliation, trauma, and rage.

00:54:02.580 Those patrons apparently demanded refunds and never returned.

00:54:05.840 But in Washington state, gender activists don't see any problem with any of this. 0.98

00:54:11.920 And to that end, a trans-identifying man using the name Haven Wilvich tried to access the spa in defiance of its women-only policy, was rejected.

00:54:22.660 And then, of course, promptly complained to the Washington State Human Rights Commission.

00:54:27.140 Yes, because this is a human rights issue in 2024.

00:54:29.480 The commission then ordered the spa to open their doors to men, regardless of how they identify or what kind of surgery they've had.

00:54:37.400 And the spa refused.

00:54:38.720 Then a federal district court in Seattle sided with Haven Wilvich and the Human Rights Commission.

00:54:44.460 They decided that there's nothing unconstitutional about forcing the spa to serve both naked men and naked women.

00:54:50.680 After that, the spa appealed to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

00:54:53.380 And this week, the Ninth Circuit heard oral arguments in the case.

00:54:56.320 And those oral arguments produced this soundbite, which may be the most remarkable quote from a federal judge that perhaps you've ever heard.

00:55:05.300 Watch as this judge, whose name is Margaret McCown, explained that the spa's women-only policy is basically equivalent to Jim Crow. 1.00

00:55:14.900 Watch.

00:55:16.180 Who can go into the spa?

00:55:17.860 Can a transgender female enter the spa before they change the language? 1.00

00:55:26.700 What was the admission policy?

00:55:28.820 Only women, biological women, or transgender women who have had bottom surgery could enter the spa. 0.56

00:55:38.400 Right.

00:55:39.080 So that's like the Supreme Court said in Fair.

00:55:42.700 If you have a law that says white applicants only, this is biological women entrance only. 1.00

00:55:50.480 It seems to me they're quite parallel there.

00:55:55.540 First of all, how old are these judges?

00:55:57.880 You see the guy in the middle who can barely lift his head up?

00:56:01.340 These judges are 155 years old and they're still sitting on the bench destroying America?

00:56:06.300 Because they're not done. 0.96

00:56:08.520 They're going to be there until they die.

00:56:10.840 And they want to get every last moment they can on earth to destroy this country.

00:56:17.160 Anyway, this is one of those brilliant deductions that you can only find in a federal courthouse on the West Coast.

00:56:22.640 You couldn't find anyone else to come up with logic like this anywhere in the country.

00:56:26.340 Something that's profoundly nonsensical could only come from an appellate judge on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

00:56:31.340 Yes, banning men from entering a women's space is parallel to banning all non-whites from the spa, says the federal appellate court judge.

00:56:40.980 It's basically the same thing, she says.

00:56:43.180 Of course, to believe that, you'd have to overlook all of the reasons why it's not remotely the same thing.

00:56:47.900 You'd have to overlook the very rational reasons why women don't want to be in an isolated environment where they're completely exposed to men, 0.66

00:56:54.240 which relate pretty well to pretty well established facts about human sexuality and biology. 0.98

00:57:00.780 You'd have to overlook the fact that men can rape women, for starters. 1.00

00:57:06.200 That's one concern, among many others. 0.95

00:57:08.400 That has nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with biology.

00:57:12.020 But the lawyer arguing for the spa, amazingly enough, didn't make this argument.

00:57:17.740 Instead, he tried to make the case that the spa was just encouraging women to enter the spa rather than prohibiting men from entering it.

00:57:25.160 Then the judge immediately sees through it because that's not at all what's happening.

00:57:28.720 Watch.

00:57:28.980 If I could address the whites-only language in FAIR.

00:57:35.560 In that, first, it said whites applicants only.

00:57:41.000 That is the language of exclusion.

00:57:43.860 This says biological women are welcome. 1.00

00:57:47.840 And if I could draw a parallel to employment recruitment.

00:57:53.180 It says it is legal for an employer, government or otherwise, to say persons with disability, military veterans, racial minorities are encouraged or welcome to apply.

00:58:06.600 They don't say military veterans only.

00:58:10.620 Women only can apply. 1.00

00:58:12.420 So we think that that is a distinction.

00:58:14.320 So if you were to leave that on the website, biological women welcome, and then a transgender female shows up at the spa, there's also this same admissions policy, right?

00:58:30.840 There is.

00:58:31.620 And can she come in?

00:58:33.480 If she doesn't have bottom surgery, then the answer is no. 1.00

00:58:37.840 Well, it's not really biological women are welcome. 1.00

00:58:45.680 It means non-biological women are not welcome. 1.00

00:58:50.560 I mean, that's the reality.

00:58:54.620 Non-biological women is the phrase we just heard from a judge sitting on the bench. 1.00

00:59:01.540 Non-biological women. 1.00

00:59:02.960 So this is a disastrous moment, obviously.

00:59:08.240 It's hard to know what explains it.

00:59:10.020 Maybe the lawyer got confused.

00:59:11.320 But in this case, the judge is right about this one point.

00:59:16.720 That the spa is denying entry to men, as it should. 1.00

00:59:21.280 And the lawyer probably should have just defended that policy instead of watering it down. 0.61

00:59:25.860 There's no reason to shy away from defending the spa's policy.

00:59:28.660 Yes, they are denying entry to men, to males, to quote-unquote biological males, if that's the phrase you want to use.

00:59:37.380 It's obviously justified.

00:59:38.780 There's no need to rely on technicalities when your position is so clearly the correct one.

00:59:42.840 But right now, it's hard to see exactly how this case will end up at the Ninth Circuit.

00:59:46.660 Fortunately, the spa has some heavy hitters writing briefs on its behalf already.

00:59:50.220 One of those briefs was written by Kara Dansky, who made this argument, quote,

00:59:53.700 quote,

01:00:23.700 over on Reddit, which is normally very supportive of trans activists who go to court.

01:00:27.580 But they're not as supportive in this case, which is interesting.

01:00:31.260 One top comment on the Seattle subreddit reads, quote,

01:00:35.080 Trans advocates are making a big case taking up, a big mistake taking up this case.

01:00:39.840 This is going to go to SCOTUS, where it will get overturned and set precedent against them.

01:00:45.360 Another comment says,

01:00:46.340 I'm trans.

01:00:47.500 I'm kind of lost for words with this case.

01:00:49.940 It's embarrassing.

01:00:50.640 Any sane-minded trans woman will make sure they're respectful and discreet when using women's spaces 1.00

01:00:55.940 or use unisex spaces where possible.

01:00:58.680 I cannot describe how embarrassed I would be having that part of my body exposed in that way.

01:01:03.760 And beyond my own embarrassment, that's wildly inappropriate and disrespectful to other people in that space.

01:01:08.200 Like, I actually don't know what to say.

01:01:10.560 It's infuriating to see the trans community attached to this. 1.00

01:01:13.160 And I'm just so sorry this ever happened.

01:01:16.100 Now, when trans activists have lost Reddit, they know they've messed up. 0.97

01:01:21.180 And that appears to be what's happening.

01:01:23.380 As Republicans in Washington finally find their backbone on the trans agenda,

01:01:27.740 trans activists on the West Coast are vastly overplaying their hand.

01:01:31.720 They're equating rational, common-sense, pro-woman, pro-privacy, pro-sanity policies to Jim Crow. 1.00

01:01:39.860 And in the process, without realizing it,

01:01:42.180 they're almost certainly hastening the end of their deranged and untenable agenda.

01:01:46.660 And that is why the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals,

01:01:50.660 along with the trans activists who are trying to force a spa to allow men to stare at naked women,

01:01:56.060 are today canceled.

01:01:58.420 That'll do it for the show today.

01:01:59.100 Thanks for watching.

01:01:59.600 Thanks for listening.

01:02:00.140 Talk to you tomorrow.

01:02:00.780 Have a great day.

01:02:01.860 Godspeed.

01:02:02.220 Godspeed.
