00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, a pop star declares that every parent she knows is miserable and
00:00:04.260 living in hell. This is part of a broader agenda to convince women to forego marriage and family
00:00:08.960 life. We'll talk about it. Also, there were supposedly 200 protests at Tesla dealerships
00:00:13.360 across the country over the weekend. This is obviously not organic or grassroots. So who is
00:00:17.500 funding all this exactly? And the GLAAD Awards happened over the weekend, celebrating anybody
00:00:21.680 in Hollywood or media who helped to push the LGBT agenda last year, which is basically all of them.
00:00:26.600 We'll talk about all that and more today on the Matt Wall Show.

00:02:11.380 Well, it's been a rather ignominious couple of weeks for liberal women on the internet. Of course,
00:02:16.420 it's been an ignominious last several decades for liberal women in general on the internet or
00:02:20.560 otherwise. But these past couple of weeks have given us one viral moment after another where
00:02:24.820 this demographic is thoroughly embarrassing itself. And for the sake of brevity, I won't even include
00:02:29.700 all the many videos of liberal women vandalizing Teslas and shrieking at their drivers. The anti-Tesla
00:02:35.940 brigade is, after all, as we know, almost exclusively women and gay men. And these two groups also make up
00:02:44.020 the core of the Democratic voting base, which we'll get back to in a moment. But leaving the
00:02:48.220 Tesla chaos to the side for now, this latest rash of viral humiliation started two weeks ago
00:02:53.740 with footage of an altercation between a woman and a young man on a New York City subway. The woman was
00:03:00.020 upset about the young man's MAGA hat, which she demanded that he remove from his head. She attempted
00:03:05.820 to take matters into her own hands when he refused to remove the hat. But the problem is that she
00:03:10.680 apparently has all the speed and agility of a baby panda. Watch.
00:03:14.580 Beyond the age, you're turning to the homeless.
00:03:27.040 Because why are you wearing a hat? This is a Democratic city. Everything's been going on
00:03:28.260 for, I don't know how long the Democrats have been running. Who knows. But then Trump comes
00:03:33.700 Well, you know, I feel sorry for those listening to the audio podcast.
00:03:48.300 You missed the glorious sight of the woman chasing the young man to steal his MAGA hat
00:03:52.660 only to trip and face plant in the middle of the subway station.
00:03:56.460 Thanks to some crack reporting from the New York Post,
00:03:58.680 we now know that this woman's name is Alberta Testanero,
00:04:01.620 and she is a, quote, luxury brand specialist.
00:04:07.100 Now, which is exactly the kind of nonsense job that you'd expect a liberal woman in New York to have.
00:04:11.940 I don't even know what a luxury brand specialist does,
00:04:14.700 but I know that this woman seems like the type to do it, whatever it is.
00:04:18.160 The following week, just after this, a woman who appears to be in her late 60s or 70s, I'm guessing,
00:04:25.280 went viral with this public service announcement about her dating life.
00:04:29.860 Listen.
00:04:30.140 Friendly reminder, as a white American woman, yeah, I will no longer be dating white men.
00:04:38.940 I'm looking for anything other than a white man.
00:04:44.000 Okay?
00:04:44.920 Just a heads up.
00:04:47.200 Now, I know there are a lot of young single men out there who feel incredibly demoralized by the dating scene,
00:04:52.960 which I understand.
00:04:54.340 And if you're in that category, I don't mean to add to your frustrations,
00:04:58.180 but if you were looking for an elderly feminist grandma, if that's your type,
00:05:03.800 I'm sad to say that there's one less fish in the sea available to you, unless you're not white,
00:05:08.940 in which case, you know, you might still have a chance.
00:05:10.640 We'll see.
00:05:11.420 At the same time, another video has been making the rounds.
00:05:13.380 This is a significantly younger woman named Zoe, telling the story of how she broke up with her boyfriend
00:05:20.620 because he committed the unforgivable sin of being Republican.
00:05:25.140 Listen.
00:05:25.340 I was dating this guy.
00:05:27.400 We've been dating for five months.
00:05:28.860 And in those five months, I was told by my friends,
00:05:31.920 Zoe, he lives in Indiana.
00:05:33.680 He's a f***ing Republican.
00:05:34.820 I was like, politics don't matter to me.
00:05:38.000 What was I wrong?
00:05:39.120 And so I was like, it's fine.
00:05:40.640 I don't care.
00:05:41.400 I'm going to get to know him first.
00:05:42.640 We'll decide later.
00:05:44.100 So then we kind of start talking about it.
00:05:47.220 I'm a very liberal woman.
00:05:48.300 So I am obviously, like, very much everyone knows that I'm a liberal woman.
00:05:53.240 My brother's gay.
00:05:53.800 All my friends are gay, also, like, abortion rights, female rights.
00:05:57.160 But anyways, so I would, like, always ask him.
00:06:00.020 I'd be like, what?
00:06:00.700 Like, what's your politics?
00:06:02.900 Like, what do you, who do you, where do you lean?
00:06:05.720 And he was just like, well, like, socially, I'm a liberal, but economically, I'm a Republican.
00:06:12.260 That, okay.
00:06:13.180 I'm like, well, like, what makes you, you know, economically Republican?
00:06:17.120 Because, like, I could give you a whole bunch of f***s right now that prove that you shouldn't be.
00:06:21.460 And he was like, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:06:22.620 So all of his info was from his friends.
00:06:24.260 And I was like, you get all your information from your f***ing redneck friends.
00:06:26.980 Obviously, you can't trust them.
00:06:28.100 You need to do the research yourself.
00:06:29.440 And if you do the research, I told him, I was like, I'll support you based on your decision if you actually research it yourself.
00:06:34.020 Like, I won't care if you're a Republican.
00:06:36.400 But anyways, and so he was like, Zoe, I have much better things to do than research politics.
00:06:42.060 Like, I have way more important things to do.
00:06:44.320 Ah!
00:06:45.740 Okay, saying that to me is absolutely f***ing insane, but go off, King.
00:06:49.980 I don't think we need to endure any more of that.
00:06:52.380 She broke up with him.
00:06:53.180 That's the end of the story.
00:06:54.280 So that's the spoiler there.
00:06:55.560 Why any man would ever date a woman like this in the first place is the greater mystery.
00:07:02.100 Everything about her is aggressively unappealing.
00:07:04.780 She's the human embodiment of nails on a chalkboard.
00:07:08.040 She's the type of woman, I guarantee you, if you had the misfortune of knowing her personally,
00:07:13.440 I guarantee you that she would describe herself as having a big personality,
00:07:19.520 which she would also give as an explanation for why nobody likes her.
00:07:22.500 She would say, I gotta get such a big personality.
00:07:24.860 And she says that because she's loud and obnoxious and uses the F word a lot.
00:07:28.600 But in truth, she has no personality at all.
00:07:32.640 She has an anti-personality.
00:07:35.500 She speaks in internet lingo.
00:07:37.800 She uses the word like every five words.
00:07:40.240 She has all the mannerisms and affectations, not to mention the value system and political beliefs,
00:07:45.240 of every other 20-something woman on TikTok.
00:07:48.400 She professes the value of doing your own research,
00:07:51.120 but I can guarantee has never done anything resembling research in her life.
00:07:56.600 If you were to, if she told you, I'm going to go do some research,
00:07:59.700 and you were to watch what that entails,
00:08:02.560 it would just be her on her phone scrolling through TikTok videos.
00:08:06.200 That's what research is to her, I guarantee it.
00:08:08.180 That said, she's not wrong about her basic point,
00:08:11.460 which is the relationship isn't going to work.
00:08:13.440 It wasn't going to work because their values are not aligned,
00:08:16.880 to the extent that either one of them has values at all.
00:08:20.400 But it wasn't going to work also because she is a raging narcissist
00:08:24.940 and a deeply unpleasant person who,
00:08:27.220 barring some kind of miraculous personal transformation,
00:08:30.220 will never have a functional and meaningful romantic
00:08:33.020 or even platonic relationship with another human being in her life.
00:08:38.000 You know, we joke about the fact that these kinds of women are always cat ladies.
00:08:42.500 And in fact, in a follow-up video, this woman confirmed that she does have at least one cat.
00:08:47.140 No big surprise there.
00:08:49.260 That's because the cat lady thing really isn't a joke.
00:08:51.860 There's a reason why liberal women really do almost always end up alone with their cats.
00:08:57.560 And that's because they prefer cats because cats require almost nothing of them.
00:09:01.940 Change the litter box, pour some more food in the bowl.
00:09:04.920 That's the extent of the work and effort you have to put into your relationship with your cats.
00:09:10.180 Feminists love cats because cats provide some measure of affection and fellowship
00:09:15.020 without needing anything in return.
00:09:17.460 No need for sacrifice or compromise or personal improvement.
00:09:23.000 No real obligations.
00:09:25.760 And successful human relationships require all of those things.
00:09:29.140 A relationship with your cat does not.
00:09:31.280 Now, of course, the trade-off is that you'll never have anything approaching
00:09:34.060 the depth of love and companionship that you could have with another person.
00:09:38.700 You'll also never have a family or children.
00:09:41.240 You will die alone.
00:09:42.240 And your cherished cat will eat your carcass without a second thought.
00:09:45.920 Like, that's where it all ends for you.
00:09:49.540 Now, there is one more video in this tour.
00:09:51.380 The singer Chappell Rohn, or maybe it's Chappelle Rohn, I'm not really sure.
00:09:55.560 We'll just say Chappell.
00:09:56.600 Chappell Rohn appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
00:09:59.020 And as we know, Call Her Daddy is the number one podcast in the world for women,
00:10:02.520 which is a troubling fact because the show, like its host, Alex Cooper,
00:10:06.520 is insipid and gross and morally and intellectually bankrupt.
00:10:10.260 It's mostly just 95 IQ women sitting around talking about sex.
00:10:13.580 There's a reason why you have never seen a viral clip from this show.
00:10:20.440 Maybe you've seen viral clips, but you've never seen one where it goes viral
00:10:24.280 because someone is saying something interesting or intellectually provocative.
00:10:29.460 So very different from one of the other big podcasts, of course, the Joe Rogan podcast,
00:10:33.320 which is the number one podcast in the world for men, which has those kinds of moments all the time.
00:10:38.240 I mean, you see Joe Rogan clips all the time that go viral for no other reason
00:10:42.420 than someone is saying something really interesting, whether you agree with it or not.
00:10:47.000 Joe frequently talks to archaeologists, astronomers, biologists, all manner of interesting people
00:10:52.140 about a wide range of academic, political, and cultural topics.
00:10:56.280 Alex Cooper talks to women about sex.
00:10:59.100 And that is it.
00:11:00.540 That's the whole thing.
00:11:01.480 So in this viral clip, Chappell explains why she doesn't want to have kids.
00:11:08.120 You'll never guess her reason.
00:11:09.420 Listen.
00:11:10.980 I, all of my friends who have kids are in hell.
00:11:14.820 I don't know anyone.
00:11:15.880 I actually don't know anyone who's like happy and has children at this age.
00:11:19.720 I have like, like a one-year-old, like three-year-old, four and under, five and under.
00:11:26.440 I don't, I literally have not met anyone who's happy, anyone who has like light in their eyes,
00:11:30.960 anyone who has, who has slept.
00:11:34.360 People with kids don't have light in their eyes, says the dead-eyed consumerist zombie.
00:11:40.460 The two dullest, least vibrant women you've ever seen in your life
00:11:44.180 are concerned that people with kids don't have light in their eyes.
00:11:48.200 Needless to say, Chappell is completely wrong about this.
00:11:50.700 It's not entirely her fault.
00:11:52.040 You know, I'm sure she probably does have some young mothers in her life
00:11:55.940 who constantly complain about their kids.
00:11:57.780 This is one of the dangers of venting.
00:12:01.060 And why all of us, women especially, who are much more inclined to vent,
00:12:04.900 but all of us should be doing a lot less of it.
00:12:08.160 You know, using somebody else as a sounding board for all of your frustrations
00:12:11.420 is selfish and enormously unpleasant.
00:12:15.000 And frankly, pretty boring for the person forced to listen to your litany of complaints.
00:12:19.720 But even worse, if that person is not in the same stage of life as you,
00:12:25.100 you will be giving them a skewed, unfairly bleak impression of that stage of life.
00:12:32.000 That's why parents should only complain, if they're going to complain at all, to each other.
00:12:37.740 But mostly they should just stop complaining.
00:12:39.500 And it's not that, when I say that parents shouldn't complain to people without kids,
00:12:46.100 it's not because we're hiding some deep, dark secret from the childless.
00:12:52.140 It's not like we're going to keep it to ourselves that we're all miserable
00:12:54.540 so we can trick them into having kids too.
00:12:57.220 No, it's that a childless person has no context.
00:13:00.220 And they probably don't understand that, although you're annoyed that your, let's say,
00:13:07.760 toddler woke you up at 4 a.m., you're still filled with deep, abiding joy
00:13:12.720 that you have a child to wake you up at all.
00:13:16.320 And if there's a secret in parenthood, it's this,
00:13:20.680 that it is possible to hold frustration and joy in your heart at the same time.
00:13:29.040 That's very possible.
00:13:31.400 But that's a depth that someone like Chapel Rhone has never reached
00:13:35.280 and cannot understand and likely will never reach nor understand.
00:13:39.880 The point is that getting married and having kids will increase the daily annoyances
00:13:44.400 and inconveniences in your life by a very sizable margin.
00:13:47.520 I'm not going to deny that.
00:13:48.380 But it also increases, not just increases, but reveals for the first time
00:13:55.160 a kind of meaning and purpose that you never had before.
00:13:58.120 And meaningful pursuits will always, always, always increase your annoyances
00:14:04.560 and inconveniences, which is why you will never do anything meaningful in your life at all
00:14:10.200 if your primary goal in life is to avoid inconvenience.
00:14:13.740 Embrace inconvenience or live a pointless, empty, miserable life.
00:14:18.720 Those are your two options.
00:14:20.020 There's no third option.
00:14:21.220 Those are the two doors you can walk through.
00:14:23.480 Now, of course, the random opinion of some pop star wouldn't matter at all
00:14:27.740 if they were being expressed in a vacuum.
00:14:30.420 But unfortunately, this is part of a much larger pattern and a much grander agenda.
00:14:34.800 All the videos we've talked about are part of or a result of that agenda.
00:14:41.260 And in fact, they represent the great cultural battle that will define and determine our future.
00:14:47.280 And that is the effort to convince women to abandon marriage and family life.
00:14:52.520 The feminist agenda, in other words, which, of course, isn't new.
00:14:54.980 But now it lies at the core of nearly all of our political and cultural divisions.
00:15:03.560 You know, as most people know at this point, a pretty well-known fact,
00:15:07.040 that the Democrat Party's core constituency by far is unmarried women.
00:15:12.580 And even in the last election, a landslide loss for Kamala Harris,
00:15:15.580 she still won unmarried women by a margin of 61% to 38%.
00:15:20.700 The continued existence of the Democrat Party and their entire political program
00:15:25.580 rests on this demographic.
00:15:29.960 Now, I'm not saying that Chapel Roan or Zoe from TikTok are paid agents of the Democrat Party
00:15:35.540 sent to go out into the world and convince women to reject marriage and family life.
00:15:40.020 Although, who knows, they might be.
00:15:41.840 What I am saying is that we're about to see a whole lot more of this kind of messaging.
00:15:47.780 This is the future of the culture war.
00:15:51.680 And it's past.
00:15:53.880 And we have to be ready to fight back against it.
00:15:57.380 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:16:04.720 History, economics, the great works of literature, the meaning of the U.S. Constitution.
00:16:08.540 Did you study these things in school?
00:16:09.880 Probably not.
00:16:10.460 Or even if you did, maybe it's time for a refresher.
00:16:13.360 Time and technology have changed a lot of things,
00:16:15.200 but they have not changed basic fundamental truths about the world and our place in it.
00:16:19.160 That's why I'm so excited that Hillsdale College is offering more than 40 free online courses
00:16:23.120 in the most important and enduring subjects.
00:16:25.800 You can learn about the works of C.S. Lewis, the stories in the book of Genesis,
00:16:29.100 the meaning of the U.S. Constitution, the rise and fall of the Roman Republic,
00:16:32.200 or the history of the ancient Christian church,
00:16:33.880 with Hillsdale College's online courses all available for free.
00:16:37.640 That's right, for free.
00:16:38.960 I personally recommend you sign up for Marxism, Socialism, and Communism.
00:16:42.700 This brand new online course is unlike anything Hillsdale has produced before.
00:16:46.020 Over the course of six documentary-style episodes,
00:16:48.260 you'll hear from Hillsdale professors of history, politics, and economics
00:16:51.240 as they look at Marxist life and writings,
00:16:53.640 the misery and brutality of the Soviet Union,
00:16:55.800 the atrocities of communist China,
00:16:57.720 and the proliferation of cultural Marxism in America.
00:17:00.500 Right now, you can go to hillsdale.edu slash Walsh to start.
00:17:04.820 It's free, easy to get started.
00:17:06.820 That's hillsdale.edu slash Walsh to start.
00:17:09.900 Hillsdale.edu slash Walsh.
00:17:12.500 So there were mass protests over the weekend.
00:17:15.160 A grassroots protest movement organically rose up targeting Tesla.
00:17:21.300 And by grassroots and organic, I mean that, of course,
00:17:23.420 very powerful and wealthy people staged these protests
00:17:26.320 and paid people to show up at them.
00:17:28.060 That's my theory anyway, theory of a lot of people.
00:17:31.420 And I think that there's a lot to be said for it.
00:17:34.060 But we'll get to that in a moment.
00:17:35.540 Here's the always reliable CNN with their reporting of it.
00:17:38.800 Hundreds of Tesla takedown demonstrations are taking place
00:17:41.360 in the United States, Canada, and Europe
00:17:42.580 as activists ramp up their opposition to CEO Elon Musk's efforts
00:17:46.200 to slash federal government's staffing and budgets.
00:17:50.740 More than 200 demonstrations are planned at Tesla locations on Saturday
00:17:54.300 as part of the Tesla takedown movement,
00:17:56.340 which called for a global day of action aiming for 500 protests worldwide.
00:18:00.640 And so these are 200 protests, all because Elon is cutting spending with Doge.
00:18:08.080 And of course, simultaneously, the media also insists that Doge
00:18:12.580 isn't really doing anything, that there are no real cuts being made,
00:18:17.060 that it's all a big smokescreen.
00:18:19.840 So on the one hand, they're telling us that nothing is happening.
00:18:24.860 And on the other hand, they're telling us that Elon is destroying the world
00:18:27.540 and democracy by cutting government jobs.
00:18:30.100 And it's difficult to understand how both of those things could be true.
00:18:33.800 I mean, if he is destroying the world and if he is destroying democracy,
00:18:36.620 then that's something.
00:18:37.720 He's obviously getting something.
00:18:38.840 He's actually getting a lot done in that case.
00:18:40.360 He's being quite effective, if that's what he's doing.
00:18:44.280 So it's hard for me to understand how Doge is doing nothing,
00:18:48.200 but also there should be these mass protests
00:18:50.480 and we should go out and try to kill all the Tesla drivers.
00:18:54.240 But in any case, the protests were about as unimpressive
00:18:57.480 and geriatric as you would expect.
00:19:00.600 There was some footage I was going to play of protesters doing the electric slide.
00:19:06.980 They got together at one of these Tesla dealerships
00:19:09.700 and they did the electric, oh, in Seattle.
00:19:11.940 And they did the electric slide.
00:19:13.700 And I'm told I can't play the footage
00:19:15.260 because it's been licensed by whoever.
00:19:18.220 Whoever took the footage licensed it.
00:19:20.420 And the last thing they would want is for anyone to play it
00:19:23.460 and talk about the footage.
00:19:24.740 Because that's, when you take, when you have footage,
00:19:26.640 you don't want people to see it, obviously.
00:19:28.260 So it makes sense that you would try to stop people from playing it.
00:19:30.260 Anyway, so they're doing the electric slide at one of these things.
00:19:33.420 And, in fact, there was another article,
00:19:38.760 and I think it was in, I don't have it in front of me,
00:19:40.580 but I want to say it was Business Insider,
00:19:45.000 reporting on one of these protests from someone who went
00:19:48.760 and lamenting the fact that there was one demographic
00:19:55.000 that was greatly overrepresented in the crowd.
00:19:57.920 And then another demographic that was tragically absent
00:20:04.140 and the overrepresented demographic were old people.
00:20:07.500 So there's a lot of old people
00:20:08.480 and they weren't seeing a lot of young people
00:20:10.320 in these Tesla protests, which should probably tell you something.
00:20:13.560 But there were some other interesting tidbits,
00:20:15.380 like there's this image
00:20:17.220 that you can see.
00:20:21.860 It's, it is a protester holding a printout
00:20:27.420 of all the, of all the chants.
00:20:32.240 And this was a photo, I think, taken by Jason Rance,
00:20:35.480 or he's the one who posted it originally.
00:20:38.660 So they've got a printout of all the chants
00:20:40.840 that they're going to do at this protest.
00:20:42.680 Chants like,
00:20:43.520 Elon Musk, go to Mars, we don't want your swats to cars.
00:20:50.340 And then this is a good one.
00:20:51.940 Public workers work for us,
00:20:54.980 can't say that for Elon Musk.
00:20:57.860 Doesn't really rhyme, but you know,
00:20:59.180 they're doing the best they can.
00:21:00.200 Then there's the old standard,
00:21:01.340 hey, hey, ho, ho, President Musk has got to go.
00:21:03.480 So you gotta, you know, you gotta put that in there.
00:21:05.660 Pretty lackadaisical chance here.
00:21:07.320 And more to the point,
00:21:08.680 I've never been to a protest where,
00:21:12.280 and I've been to plenty of protests
00:21:14.620 and rallies and stuff in the past.
00:21:16.160 I've never been to one where they hand out sheets of paper
00:21:18.980 with all the chants they're gonna do.
00:21:22.000 I mean, I was just at the March for Life a few weeks ago,
00:21:25.500 and there are plenty of chanting going on
00:21:27.160 as people are marching.
00:21:28.780 Nobody was handing out worksheets
00:21:30.260 because the chants are organic.
00:21:32.500 They just kind of start up.
00:21:33.840 Somebody starts one,
00:21:34.840 and then everybody catches,
00:21:35.700 it's a chant,
00:21:36.280 so it doesn't,
00:21:36.660 you don't need to read a script, right,
00:21:38.800 to do a chant.
00:21:39.720 You kind of pick it up pretty quickly.
00:21:42.280 Um, everybody catches on,
00:21:43.880 they start doing the chant.
00:21:45.040 That's how things go at a real protest,
00:21:47.320 at a real, actual, grassroots protest.
00:21:50.800 But these protests are not like that,
00:21:54.420 which is also why,
00:21:56.180 as Colin Rugg reported,
00:21:58.440 the protest at a Tesla in Texas
00:22:00.720 ended very abruptly at exactly noon.
00:22:05.220 And I think we have,
00:22:06.140 here they all are all,
00:22:07.460 this is apparently exactly at noon,
00:22:09.120 right at 12 o'clock on the dot.
00:22:10.920 They're all just walking away
00:22:12.020 from the protest location.
00:22:13.560 Here it is.
00:22:15.240 Yeah, kiss my cow.
00:22:17.640 Thank you very much.
00:22:18.460 Go back to Mexico.
00:22:19.320 I respect your point of view.
00:22:20.540 Oh!
00:22:21.120 I respect your point of view.
00:22:22.720 Yeah, stay across the border, Pedro.
00:22:25.180 I respect your point of view.
00:22:26.760 Yeah, we don't respect yours.
00:22:28.000 Okay, so you can see them all walking away.
00:22:29.160 And there are lots of other reports
00:22:30.400 from other protests
00:22:31.500 where all the protesters left
00:22:32.700 at the exact same time,
00:22:33.980 like right at the top of the hour,
00:22:35.160 whether it was noon or two o'clock
00:22:36.860 or whatever,
00:22:38.000 kind of like workers just punching out,
00:22:43.340 like it was the end of their shift.
00:22:45.500 Because that's exactly
00:22:46.700 what's happening here, obviously.
00:22:48.760 Well, there are two things happening here.
00:22:52.700 You do have a herd mentality phenomenon,
00:22:56.460 very familiar on the left.
00:22:58.200 You got a bunch of mindless drones
00:22:59.840 all activated to attack an enemy,
00:23:02.320 even if they don't really understand
00:23:03.660 why the enemy is an enemy.
00:23:06.520 Leftists are very, very susceptible
00:23:07.960 to these kinds of mind viruses.
00:23:10.140 We know that.
00:23:11.740 The 2020s in particular
00:23:13.440 have been defined by this.
00:23:15.340 Just one mind virus after another.
00:23:18.780 And that's why we have all these videos
00:23:21.140 of dysgenic, overweights,
00:23:23.560 almost always overweight,
00:23:25.440 weirdos attacking Teslas and Tesla drivers.
00:23:28.660 Here's the latest, by the way.
00:23:29.620 This is a report out of Arizona.
00:23:34.100 And recall what I've said now
00:23:36.200 a couple of times,
00:23:37.920 that where this is all heading
00:23:39.540 is that some Tesla owner,
00:23:43.960 Tesla driver is going to get killed.
00:23:46.900 That's going to happen.
00:23:48.840 And it hasn't happened yet,
00:23:49.920 but we're rapidly approaching that point.
00:23:51.500 So here's the latest out of Arizona.
00:23:53.680 Take a look at this.
00:23:54.880 This is video from the victim's Tesla camera.
00:23:57.200 It shows a green car pulling up to a Tesla
00:23:59.700 on busy Route 66,
00:24:01.540 then swerving in front to box the Tesla in.
00:24:04.720 The driver then walks over
00:24:05.920 to the 61-year-old woman in the Tesla
00:24:07.860 and reportedly starts hitting her
00:24:10.260 while she's sitting behind the wheel.
00:24:12.560 At one point, the woman says
00:24:13.900 she bit the man's hand.
00:24:15.840 Moments later, the passenger of the green car
00:24:17.920 appears to walk over
00:24:19.000 and pull the attacker away.
00:24:21.300 They finally get back in their car
00:24:23.020 and drive off.
00:24:24.040 We spoke to the victim today
00:24:25.620 who said she was terrified
00:24:26.940 and can't understand
00:24:28.480 why anyone would do this.
00:24:30.380 I was just stunned.
00:24:32.440 And I wished that I would have had
00:24:34.740 someone with me
00:24:38.380 that would have protected me.
00:24:40.420 I'm just appalled.
00:24:43.120 I didn't buy my car
00:24:44.400 for a political statement.
00:24:46.240 I bought my car
00:24:47.520 because it's really fun to drive.
00:24:48.660 And my politics
00:24:51.800 have nothing to do with that.
00:24:53.340 And I'm just,
00:24:54.600 I'm ashamed of our society
00:24:56.420 and what they're doing.
00:24:58.260 The victim,
00:24:59.140 along with the other Tesla owner
00:25:00.700 who received a threatening note and text,
00:25:03.100 have both now signed up
00:25:04.560 for a gun safety course
00:25:06.140 at a gun range north of Flagstaff.
00:25:08.900 You know, I've been saying that
00:25:10.180 eventually someone's going to get killed.
00:25:12.680 One of these mutants
00:25:14.680 is going to get so worked up
00:25:16.020 that they go out
00:25:16.660 and kill someone for driving a Tesla.
00:25:18.200 Tesla, it's going to happen.
00:25:20.080 And we know that.
00:25:21.340 I mean, the video
00:25:22.160 where somebody gets dragged out of a Tesla
00:25:24.520 and killed,
00:25:26.520 that's coming.
00:25:27.940 It will happen
00:25:28.800 because these people are zombies.
00:25:32.620 They are lashing out violently,
00:25:38.280 worked into this kind of mass hysteria.
00:25:40.900 And we've already seen,
00:25:43.380 as I said many times,
00:25:44.560 especially in the last five years
00:25:46.080 in particular,
00:25:47.120 what people are capable of
00:25:49.500 when they get worked up
00:25:52.940 into this kind of hysteria.
00:25:56.040 And it's all the same kinds of people.
00:25:59.380 Like the people in 2021
00:26:01.320 calling the cops on their neighbors
00:26:04.100 for having too many family members
00:26:07.200 over for a visit,
00:26:08.580 you know,
00:26:09.400 or calling the cops
00:26:11.460 because a dad took his daughter
00:26:13.120 out to the playground.
00:26:15.100 Calling the police,
00:26:15.840 let's have the police drag them away.
00:26:17.160 Like the same people
00:26:18.460 are the ones wrapped up
00:26:21.260 in this anti-Tesla stuff.
00:26:23.100 The same people
00:26:24.000 who decided all of a sudden,
00:26:26.020 right,
00:26:26.260 that men can have babies
00:26:27.300 and became very sure of that.
00:26:30.440 Basically,
00:26:32.840 just a,
00:26:33.300 just a,
00:26:35.260 on a dime,
00:26:36.320 just came to this conclusion.
00:26:38.120 It's all the same people.
00:26:39.080 But that's not the whole story
00:26:41.540 because you also have,
00:26:42.740 as always,
00:26:43.300 very wealthy people
00:26:44.240 and organizations
00:26:44.920 and entities
00:26:45.560 behind this stuff,
00:26:46.680 pulling the strings,
00:26:47.680 ponying up the cash,
00:26:48.760 and in many cases,
00:26:49.860 literally paying people
00:26:51.060 to show up.
00:26:52.120 Like you don't get
00:26:53.080 people to show up
00:26:55.100 to 200 Tesla dealerships
00:26:56.600 across the country
00:26:57.220 without paying them to do it.
00:26:58.780 This is what the left does.
00:26:59.860 Any mass protest movement
00:27:01.440 on the left,
00:27:03.300 I think we all get this now,
00:27:04.340 we take it for granted,
00:27:05.000 but it bears repeating
00:27:06.840 that anytime
00:27:08.320 there's a quote-unquote
00:27:09.740 mass protest movement
00:27:10.980 on the left,
00:27:12.340 always,
00:27:13.400 always,
00:27:13.840 always,
00:27:14.180 it's going to heavily involve
00:27:15.940 paid protesters.
00:27:17.580 And it's just not,
00:27:18.820 it's usually not this obvious
00:27:20.660 with actual scripts
00:27:22.980 that they're reading
00:27:23.740 and all the protesters
00:27:24.960 punching out at lunchtime.
00:27:28.220 And the reason why
00:27:29.300 that's especially relevant
00:27:30.740 in this case
00:27:31.380 is that
00:27:31.960 if there are a bunch of
00:27:34.920 paid protesters
00:27:35.920 in the mix,
00:27:36.820 and I'm certain
00:27:37.580 that there are,
00:27:38.620 then we need to find out
00:27:40.460 who is funding them
00:27:41.200 because these are protests
00:27:42.900 targeting a private company
00:27:44.640 with the very deliberate,
00:27:47.100 very explicit goal
00:27:48.460 of,
00:27:49.040 among other things,
00:27:50.460 tanking the company's
00:27:51.540 stock price.
00:27:53.260 And that means
00:27:54.220 that there are probably,
00:27:55.680 I don't know,
00:27:56.460 dozens of federal laws
00:27:58.020 that are likely being broken.
00:28:01.100 And you'd think
00:28:02.320 with our side
00:28:03.060 controlling the DOJ,
00:28:04.220 we should be able
00:28:05.200 to finally dig into this
00:28:06.360 and start holding
00:28:07.000 these people accountable.
00:28:08.300 We should.
00:28:09.760 We should be able
00:28:10.700 to do that.
00:28:11.220 Emphasis on should.
00:28:13.080 So this is not,
00:28:13.940 yes,
00:28:15.140 go,
00:28:15.640 the random lunatics
00:28:17.000 who are attacking Teslas
00:28:18.880 and Tesla drivers,
00:28:19.740 go find them,
00:28:20.800 charge them,
00:28:21.460 not just with vandalism,
00:28:22.720 but with domestic terrorism.
00:28:23.820 That's what this is.
00:28:25.440 This is politically
00:28:26.660 motivated violence
00:28:28.280 that is being done
00:28:30.760 to instill terror
00:28:32.480 and fear
00:28:33.060 in your,
00:28:34.860 who you perceive
00:28:36.060 to be your political opponents.
00:28:37.900 Even though,
00:28:38.740 of course,
00:28:38.940 a lot of the people
00:28:39.360 driving Teslas
00:28:40.020 aren't necessarily conservative.
00:28:42.360 But that's what it is.
00:28:42.840 Politically motivated violence
00:28:44.740 designed to instill fear
00:28:47.180 in your perceived
00:28:48.500 political enemies.
00:28:49.700 That is terrorism to it.
00:28:51.340 It is what terrorism is
00:28:52.300 by definition.
00:28:52.820 So, yes,
00:28:55.440 we need to find
00:28:56.080 those individuals
00:28:56.680 and hold them accountable.
00:28:57.840 But even more important,
00:29:00.300 let's actually investigate
00:29:03.040 and find out
00:29:03.960 who are the entities
00:29:05.340 that are funding this stuff.
00:29:06.940 And we've known about this
00:29:07.840 for years, right?
00:29:09.140 When there's a BLM protest
00:29:10.740 and there's,
00:29:11.860 people are dropping off
00:29:12.980 pallets of bricks
00:29:14.080 to be thrown.
00:29:14.660 Like,
00:29:14.940 where are those pallets
00:29:15.820 coming from?
00:29:16.340 Who is funding this?
00:29:17.220 Who's providing it?
00:29:19.020 We never get any answers.
00:29:20.920 And now there's,
00:29:22.640 no excuse
00:29:23.220 to not get any answers.
00:29:26.060 So,
00:29:27.320 I hope we do.
00:29:30.480 All right,
00:29:30.740 here's another
00:29:31.180 for the polls
00:29:32.520 are fake folder.
00:29:35.540 Gallup reports this.
00:29:37.440 Three years into
00:29:38.380 the Russia-Ukraine war,
00:29:39.720 46% of Americans
00:29:40.800 believe the U.S.
00:29:41.680 is not doing enough
00:29:42.780 to help Ukraine
00:29:44.360 in the conflict,
00:29:45.240 marking a 16 percentage
00:29:46.620 point increase
00:29:47.580 since December
00:29:49.100 to a new high
00:29:50.180 in the trend
00:29:50.560 that dates back
00:29:51.100 to 2022.
00:29:52.640 At the same time,
00:29:53.420 the proportions
00:29:53.840 thinking the U.S.
00:29:54.480 is doing too much,
00:29:56.580 it was just 30%
00:29:58.560 or the right amount,
00:29:59.420 23% for Ukraine
00:30:00.340 have shrunk.
00:30:02.020 Until now,
00:30:02.580 the highest percentage
00:30:03.180 of Americans
00:30:03.600 who believe the U.S.
00:30:04.300 was not doing enough
00:30:05.140 to help Ukraine
00:30:05.640 was 38%.
00:30:06.800 And so now that's gone up.
00:30:09.160 Okay,
00:30:09.320 so we supposedly,
00:30:10.920 46% of Americans
00:30:12.160 want us to give
00:30:13.340 even more money
00:30:14.140 to Ukraine.
00:30:14.720 Another 23%
00:30:15.740 want us to keep
00:30:17.380 giving the same amount.
00:30:19.920 So that is 69,
00:30:21.860 it's almost 70%,
00:30:22.880 let's call it 70%,
00:30:24.500 of Americans
00:30:26.220 who want us
00:30:28.000 to continue giving
00:30:28.840 the same
00:30:29.300 or an even greater
00:30:30.300 amount to Ukraine.
00:30:31.020 and it's just
00:30:32.340 impossible,
00:30:34.060 it's almost impossible
00:30:35.220 to get 70% agreement
00:30:36.420 on any topic
00:30:37.740 these days
00:30:38.260 as we know
00:30:38.720 and we're supposed
00:30:40.100 to believe
00:30:40.660 that we have
00:30:41.000 a 70% agreement
00:30:42.300 on funding Ukraine.
00:30:44.120 And it gets better.
00:30:46.160 Reading more,
00:30:48.500 the article continues,
00:30:50.880 the latest poll
00:30:51.380 also finds
00:30:51.880 a five-point increase
00:30:53.320 in the percentage
00:30:54.680 of Americans
00:30:55.220 who think the U.S.
00:30:56.240 should continue
00:30:56.780 to support Ukraine
00:30:57.520 in reclaiming
00:30:58.220 its territory
00:30:58.960 even if that requires
00:31:00.820 prolonged involvement,
00:31:02.340 this is 53%
00:31:03.240 who say this,
00:31:04.640 rather than ending
00:31:05.520 the conflict
00:31:05.920 as quickly as possible
00:31:06.780 even if that means
00:31:07.800 ceding territory
00:31:08.560 to Russia.
00:31:10.760 Okay,
00:31:11.080 so 53%
00:31:13.120 want America
00:31:14.760 to remain involved
00:31:16.220 to make sure
00:31:18.860 that Ukraine
00:31:19.280 reclaims
00:31:20.340 its lost territory
00:31:21.260 and only 45%
00:31:24.040 would rather
00:31:24.920 just have the thing end
00:31:25.940 even if it means
00:31:27.020 that Ukraine
00:31:27.760 loses some territory.
00:31:31.060 A majority
00:31:31.860 of Americans
00:31:32.240 feel it's important
00:31:32.880 to help Ukraine
00:31:33.580 reclaim territory.
00:31:35.100 That's how strongly
00:31:36.200 a majority of Americans
00:31:37.040 feel about
00:31:37.640 making sure
00:31:38.520 that Ukraine
00:31:38.860 gets its territory back,
00:31:39.780 that they would rather
00:31:40.900 continue a war
00:31:41.800 and continue
00:31:42.180 our own involvement
00:31:42.800 in it.
00:31:44.900 And, you know,
00:31:45.960 I don't buy
00:31:47.280 these results at all,
00:31:48.380 doesn't pass
00:31:49.340 the smell test
00:31:49.920 for me.
00:31:51.440 Now, this is anecdotal,
00:31:52.740 but all this stuff
00:31:53.260 is really anecdotal.
00:31:54.340 All these polls
00:31:54.960 are basically
00:31:55.540 just compiled anecdotes.
00:31:59.680 I have hardly
00:32:00.520 ever met
00:32:01.060 in my life
00:32:01.700 in the real world
00:32:02.580 one of these
00:32:04.800 big Ukraine fans.
00:32:06.880 I know they're out there.
00:32:07.860 I know they exist
00:32:08.620 in a certain number.
00:32:09.840 I've hardly ever
00:32:10.600 met them.
00:32:12.100 I don't think
00:32:12.880 they exist
00:32:13.320 in such large numbers.
00:32:15.620 But,
00:32:16.020 let's just put,
00:32:18.060 like,
00:32:18.440 put that aside
00:32:18.920 for a moment.
00:32:20.040 Like,
00:32:20.320 take it,
00:32:20.620 let's just pretend
00:32:21.380 that the numbers
00:32:21.840 are true.
00:32:23.180 Take the numbers
00:32:23.700 at face value,
00:32:24.540 just for the sake
00:32:25.060 of argument.
00:32:27.260 So,
00:32:27.820 going back to
00:32:28.440 specifically this point,
00:32:31.060 a five-point increase
00:32:31.920 in the percentage
00:32:32.380 of Americans
00:32:32.820 who think the U.S.
00:32:33.420 should continue
00:32:33.940 to support Ukraine
00:32:34.940 in reclaiming its territory,
00:32:36.080 even if that requires
00:32:36.940 prolonged involvement.
00:32:37.740 That's the majority
00:32:38.520 of Americans,
00:32:39.080 supposedly.
00:32:41.720 They would prefer
00:32:42.760 that Ukraine
00:32:43.340 claim back more land
00:32:45.600 than see the conflict
00:32:47.480 end with Ukraine
00:32:48.260 losing land.
00:32:49.900 I'd like for
00:32:50.660 any of the people
00:32:52.860 in that crowd,
00:32:53.700 however numerous
00:32:54.340 that crowd might be
00:32:55.200 or may not be,
00:32:56.220 to just explain something.
00:32:59.140 How do the boundary lines
00:33:01.040 between Russia
00:33:02.680 and Ukraine
00:33:03.420 impact your life
00:33:05.640 in any way?
00:33:08.460 Let's say that Ukraine
00:33:09.420 lost all that territory
00:33:11.260 and didn't get
00:33:11.840 any of it back.
00:33:13.860 How would you ever
00:33:14.700 even know it?
00:33:17.180 I mean,
00:33:17.560 of course,
00:33:17.920 the media will tell you.
00:33:19.080 If the media
00:33:19.660 didn't report it,
00:33:21.160 what would ever
00:33:23.000 happen in your life?
00:33:24.880 What scenario
00:33:26.000 would ever arise
00:33:27.120 where you would go,
00:33:29.840 damn,
00:33:30.660 this is because Ukraine
00:33:31.900 didn't get their territory back?
00:33:33.120 When would that happen?
00:33:36.600 Walk me through
00:33:37.940 some plausible issue
00:33:39.720 that you might face
00:33:40.700 in your life
00:33:41.120 that you could tie back,
00:33:43.140 even indirectly,
00:33:44.400 to the loss
00:33:45.940 of territory
00:33:46.900 in Ukraine.
00:33:48.500 Something that would happen
00:33:49.240 where you say,
00:33:49.680 well, you know,
00:33:50.180 this is because
00:33:50.700 Ukraine's boundaries
00:33:51.520 are here
00:33:52.080 when they should be
00:33:53.180 over here.
00:33:53.620 Now,
00:33:56.140 I know you might say
00:33:57.420 that, well,
00:33:58.800 sure,
00:33:59.160 it doesn't impact us,
00:34:00.020 obviously,
00:34:01.260 but just because
00:34:02.040 it doesn't impact us,
00:34:02.940 that doesn't mean
00:34:03.560 that we shouldn't care.
00:34:04.840 What's right is right.
00:34:05.800 And Russia came in
00:34:09.240 and they took
00:34:09.780 all this land
00:34:10.420 and that's wrong
00:34:11.140 and so we should be
00:34:11.940 opposed to it
00:34:12.480 just because it's wrong.
00:34:14.420 People are dying.
00:34:18.000 Okay, fine.
00:34:18.760 Well, but then
00:34:19.260 let me ask you this
00:34:19.880 and I think I brought
00:34:20.900 this point up before
00:34:21.780 but just because
00:34:24.340 it's a helpful example.
00:34:26.660 So there is still
00:34:28.260 right now,
00:34:29.160 as far as I know,
00:34:30.440 a civil war
00:34:31.380 in Sudan
00:34:32.160 that's happening right now.
00:34:33.000 It's been going on
00:34:33.500 for years.
00:34:34.760 Tens of thousands
00:34:35.500 of people have died,
00:34:36.520 very bloody,
00:34:37.180 very intense,
00:34:38.180 multiple factions
00:34:39.040 fighting over land
00:34:40.020 in Sudan.
00:34:42.000 Whose side are you on
00:34:43.240 in that one?
00:34:45.580 Now, if you're
00:34:46.260 very clued into
00:34:47.180 geopolitics,
00:34:48.360 which almost
00:34:48.980 very few people are,
00:34:50.320 but if you're,
00:34:50.960 there's maybe a small
00:34:51.780 minority of the audience
00:34:52.420 that could actually
00:34:52.800 answer this.
00:34:54.020 I think almost
00:34:54.760 everyone else,
00:34:55.500 especially the people
00:34:56.280 in that supposed 53%.
00:34:57.880 Like, if I were to ask them,
00:35:00.700 what's your take
00:35:01.260 on that dispute?
00:35:03.100 How much American money
00:35:04.420 and manpower
00:35:05.000 do you want
00:35:05.940 dedicated to fighting
00:35:07.140 for the good guys
00:35:08.080 in that war
00:35:09.040 in Sudan?
00:35:12.100 I think for the
00:35:12.840 vast majority,
00:35:13.640 it would be,
00:35:14.280 well, there's no answer
00:35:15.740 because you don't know
00:35:16.660 the first thing
00:35:17.380 about the Sudanese
00:35:18.400 civil war.
00:35:18.980 You have no clue
00:35:19.860 whose side you're on
00:35:20.880 and you don't care.
00:35:22.800 You actually don't care
00:35:24.100 in the slightest
00:35:24.740 about the civil war
00:35:25.580 in Sudan.
00:35:26.020 It doesn't,
00:35:26.420 you really don't care.
00:35:27.440 It doesn't matter to you.
00:35:28.560 The result of that war,
00:35:29.960 like, really does not
00:35:31.000 concern you.
00:35:32.060 You don't care at all.
00:35:33.300 You haven't thought
00:35:33.960 about it one time
00:35:34.900 and after I stop
00:35:36.260 talking about it
00:35:36.840 right now,
00:35:37.400 you'll go back
00:35:38.620 to not ever
00:35:39.380 thinking about it
00:35:40.200 ever again.
00:35:42.620 Well, why is that?
00:35:44.240 I mean, that's a war
00:35:45.180 that's happening.
00:35:45.880 Lots of people are dying.
00:35:47.440 There are aggressors
00:35:48.760 and bad guys
00:35:49.500 in that dispute too.
00:35:50.400 You'd have to look into it
00:35:51.200 to decide who you think
00:35:52.040 is who in that dispute,
00:35:54.340 but, you know,
00:35:54.900 it's, they're there,
00:35:56.380 you know.
00:35:57.300 All the ingredients
00:35:58.160 are there.
00:35:58.660 So why do you care
00:36:01.200 so much about this
00:36:02.020 one violent dispute
00:36:03.180 in the world
00:36:03.800 but not the other?
00:36:07.120 And I think the answer
00:36:08.480 is very simple,
00:36:09.520 that the media told you
00:36:10.560 to care about one
00:36:11.420 and not the other.
00:36:12.280 It really is as simple
00:36:13.300 as that.
00:36:14.480 So I'm often called
00:36:16.220 cruel and uncaring
00:36:17.100 because I admittedly
00:36:18.100 don't really care
00:36:19.100 about the war in Ukraine
00:36:20.320 that's been my take
00:36:21.040 all along.
00:36:22.200 I don't really care.
00:36:24.440 If Ukraine ceases
00:36:25.600 to exist,
00:36:26.240 if it continues existing,
00:36:27.480 if it gets its land back,
00:36:28.480 if it doesn't,
00:36:29.100 I really don't care.
00:36:31.200 I just don't care.
00:36:33.020 And I want the war
00:36:34.600 to be over
00:36:34.980 because I don't want
00:36:35.580 the United States
00:36:36.160 to get dragged into it.
00:36:38.020 But if the war ends
00:36:39.080 with Ukraine
00:36:39.560 getting all of its land back
00:36:40.820 or getting none of it back,
00:36:42.280 I don't care.
00:36:44.200 If the war ends
00:36:45.300 with Ukraine
00:36:45.840 as a strong
00:36:46.780 and independent nation
00:36:47.840 and a democracy,
00:36:49.420 you know,
00:36:49.660 that's fine.
00:36:50.320 If it ends with it
00:36:51.000 getting conquered
00:36:51.640 and subjugated,
00:36:52.660 that's also fine to me.
00:36:54.400 It's not my concern.
00:36:55.680 It just isn't.
00:36:56.340 It's not my country.
00:36:57.100 And when you say
00:36:59.240 that about Ukraine,
00:37:00.260 you're called
00:37:00.780 cruel and callous.
00:37:02.920 But my point is
00:37:04.260 that I have the same attitude
00:37:05.260 towards the war in Ukraine
00:37:06.320 that you have
00:37:07.240 towards
00:37:08.020 a hundred other
00:37:09.720 violent disputes
00:37:10.780 and wars
00:37:11.480 currently raging
00:37:12.480 on the planet today.
00:37:14.500 You don't care
00:37:15.540 about almost
00:37:16.220 all of them.
00:37:17.900 You don't think about
00:37:19.220 almost any of them.
00:37:20.600 You're already
00:37:23.200 in my boat
00:37:24.020 with almost
00:37:24.760 every violent dispute
00:37:26.260 currently happening
00:37:27.360 on the globe.
00:37:28.500 You don't care about them.
00:37:30.420 You just don't.
00:37:32.640 You look at
00:37:33.360 most global conflict
00:37:34.860 the way that
00:37:35.440 I look at Ukraine.
00:37:37.440 It's just that
00:37:38.120 I'm consistent.
00:37:39.720 I apply that mentality
00:37:41.080 to Ukraine also.
00:37:43.000 You make an exception
00:37:44.120 and you make an exception
00:37:45.000 because the media
00:37:45.600 told you to.
00:37:46.280 It's just that.
00:37:47.420 It's just because
00:37:47.920 the media said
00:37:48.500 this one you should care about.
00:37:49.480 And if they flip
00:37:52.000 to Sudan tomorrow
00:37:52.900 then you would
00:37:53.900 suddenly care about that.
00:37:59.980 So at least be honest
00:38:00.960 about it.
00:38:02.140 At least be honest.
00:38:02.920 That's my only
00:38:03.360 that's my only request.
00:38:05.160 All right.
00:38:05.360 The White House
00:38:05.760 Correspondents Dinner
00:38:06.660 is coming up sometime.
00:38:08.120 I don't know when
00:38:08.560 but I guess it's coming up soon.
00:38:10.240 And the media
00:38:11.200 is running with a headline
00:38:12.660 claiming that
00:38:13.540 I mean Drudge
00:38:16.560 had this headline
00:38:17.480 for anyone who still
00:38:18.320 reads Drudge.
00:38:19.480 but that the White House
00:38:21.340 has canceled
00:38:22.360 the headlining comedian
00:38:24.060 of this event
00:38:24.940 because she made jokes
00:38:25.980 about Trump
00:38:26.540 or the White House
00:38:28.040 Correspondents Association
00:38:29.120 has canceled her technically.
00:38:30.760 So this is cancel culture
00:38:32.100 on the right.
00:38:33.000 That's supposed to be
00:38:33.560 the headline.
00:38:34.320 Here's people
00:38:35.260 with their headline.
00:38:37.460 White House
00:38:37.760 Correspondents Dinner
00:38:38.520 cancels Amber Ruffin's
00:38:40.120 appearance after comedian
00:38:41.360 jokes about Trump
00:38:42.400 administration.
00:38:42.900 The article says
00:38:46.280 Amber Ruffin
00:38:46.980 is no longer hosting
00:38:47.900 this year's
00:38:48.400 White House
00:38:48.760 Correspondents Dinner
00:38:49.500 an announcement
00:38:49.900 that comes shortly
00:38:50.520 after the comedian
00:38:51.060 publicly joked
00:38:51.920 about President
00:38:52.400 Donald Trump's
00:38:52.920 policies.
00:38:56.960 And anyway
00:38:58.060 so that's what happened.
00:38:59.280 So they canceled
00:38:59.840 this comedian
00:39:00.280 for jokes.
00:39:01.640 That's the claim.
00:39:03.720 So they're a bunch
00:39:04.480 of hypocrites.
00:39:05.340 It's cancel culture.
00:39:06.700 Conservative cancel culture.
00:39:08.860 Well what were
00:39:09.480 these jokes exactly?
00:39:11.320 What did she say
00:39:12.140 that led to her
00:39:12.980 being disinvited
00:39:14.040 from the White House
00:39:15.320 Correspondents Dinner?
00:39:16.820 Well here is
00:39:17.720 Amber Ruffin
00:39:19.080 on some kind of podcast
00:39:20.640 telling these
00:39:22.680 hilarious jokes.
00:39:24.660 Listen.
00:39:26.100 Well maybe you could
00:39:26.800 do that for the
00:39:27.300 White House Correspondents
00:39:28.320 just change it up
00:39:29.160 this year.
00:39:29.700 Oh my goodness.
00:39:31.780 Oh God.
00:39:32.880 Okay so will anyone
00:39:34.000 from the administration
00:39:35.000 be attentive?
00:39:35.580 How much do you
00:39:36.360 actually know
00:39:37.480 about who will be
00:39:39.020 in attendance?
00:39:40.380 Do you get like
00:39:41.120 the rundown?
00:39:42.600 I'm sure that I will
00:39:43.600 at some point.
00:39:44.520 You will.
00:39:44.660 I know the news
00:39:46.420 organizations that
00:39:47.420 will be attending.
00:39:48.460 I don't think that
00:39:48.980 people confirm until
00:39:50.220 quite a bit later.
00:39:52.220 I don't necessarily
00:39:54.100 like I'm not 100%
00:39:55.880 interested in being like
00:39:57.000 ha you're here
00:39:57.780 look at your stupid
00:39:58.540 head you're burned.
00:39:59.760 I care like
00:40:01.020 you're kind of
00:40:02.020 a bunch of murderers.
00:40:04.380 I mean
00:40:05.160 so like they were like
00:40:07.220 you need to be
00:40:09.100 you know equal
00:40:10.240 and make sure
00:40:11.400 that the
00:40:12.060 that you give it
00:40:13.700 to both sides
00:40:14.880 and blah blah blah.
00:40:15.760 I was like
00:40:16.160 there's no way
00:40:17.420 I'm going to be
00:40:18.080 freaking doing that dude.
00:40:19.540 But it may want
00:40:20.260 that false equivalency
00:40:21.400 that the media does.
00:40:22.500 They want that.
00:40:23.400 It feels great.
00:40:24.380 It makes them feel
00:40:24.980 like human beings.
00:40:26.280 But they shouldn't
00:40:26.880 get to feel that way
00:40:27.620 because they're not.
00:40:29.660 So those are the jokes.
00:40:31.340 The quote unquote jokes.
00:40:32.580 You said the Trump
00:40:33.040 administration
00:40:33.500 are murderers.
00:40:35.420 Citation needed
00:40:36.080 on that one.
00:40:37.100 And that they
00:40:37.560 aren't human beings.
00:40:40.140 So should she have
00:40:41.100 been canceled
00:40:41.560 from the event
00:40:42.360 for that?
00:40:43.100 Yeah obviously.
00:40:45.100 Clearly.
00:40:46.520 These are not
00:40:47.320 jokes.
00:40:48.240 This is just
00:40:48.720 not a joke.
00:40:49.460 That's really
00:40:49.920 what you think.
00:40:51.000 And this
00:40:52.160 in fact she even
00:40:52.920 says it's the
00:40:53.780 opposite of telling
00:40:54.220 jokes.
00:40:54.480 She's actually
00:40:54.780 saying that
00:40:55.320 she doesn't
00:40:56.200 really want to
00:40:56.680 tell jokes
00:40:57.240 because they're
00:40:58.340 so terrible.
00:40:59.020 She doesn't want
00:40:59.380 to joke about
00:40:59.880 them.
00:41:01.260 So this is
00:41:01.760 just blind
00:41:02.780 stupid rage.
00:41:04.000 And it's why
00:41:04.840 whatever set
00:41:05.480 she planned
00:41:06.000 to give at the
00:41:06.600 dinner was
00:41:07.020 guaranteed to
00:41:07.640 be extremely
00:41:08.120 lame and
00:41:08.620 unfunny.
00:41:09.500 We know that
00:41:10.120 for sure.
00:41:11.600 We know that
00:41:12.160 first of all
00:41:12.560 because she's
00:41:13.000 a female comedian.
00:41:14.560 And second
00:41:15.040 because she's
00:41:15.660 full of anger
00:41:16.520 and resentment
00:41:17.220 and that is
00:41:17.820 just not a
00:41:18.360 good starting
00:41:18.800 place for comedy.
00:41:19.540 It's why
00:41:19.740 none of these
00:41:20.240 hacks have
00:41:20.740 figured out
00:41:21.080 how to
00:41:21.280 make fun
00:41:21.600 of Trump
00:41:21.980 in a funny
00:41:22.400 way.
00:41:23.200 Ten years
00:41:23.740 in none
00:41:25.440 of these
00:41:25.620 liberal comedians
00:41:26.280 have figured
00:41:26.580 out how to
00:41:26.860 make fun of
00:41:27.240 them.
00:41:28.720 Because they're
00:41:29.240 too angry.
00:41:29.740 They're too
00:41:29.960 hateful.
00:41:30.300 You can't
00:41:31.340 tell funny
00:41:31.800 jokes about
00:41:32.340 somebody that
00:41:32.820 you truly
00:41:33.440 just hate.
00:41:34.620 Because humor
00:41:35.260 requires a
00:41:35.920 certain amount
00:41:36.240 of understanding
00:41:37.020 to make fun
00:41:37.780 of somebody
00:41:38.220 in a funny
00:41:38.720 way.
00:41:40.600 Which requires
00:41:41.700 that you have
00:41:42.500 at least some
00:41:43.020 amount of
00:41:43.380 empathy for
00:41:43.980 them.
00:41:45.020 It's why
00:41:45.480 political comedy
00:41:46.260 these days
00:41:46.780 is so often
00:41:47.680 unfunny.
00:41:48.240 In both
00:41:48.520 directions,
00:41:49.040 by the way.
00:41:51.120 Because you
00:41:52.320 have to
00:41:52.860 kind of
00:41:53.480 understand where
00:41:54.440 somebody is
00:41:54.940 coming from
00:41:55.500 in order to
00:41:55.940 tell funny
00:41:56.480 jokes about
00:41:57.000 them.
00:41:57.180 You have to
00:41:57.380 be able to
00:41:57.920 inhabit their
00:41:59.080 minds to
00:42:00.000 look at
00:42:00.280 the world
00:42:00.760 from their
00:42:01.720 vantage point
00:42:02.440 so that
00:42:03.640 you can
00:42:04.200 then satirize
00:42:05.360 it and
00:42:05.800 make a
00:42:06.100 parody of
00:42:06.580 it.
00:42:07.500 But most
00:42:08.320 political humor
00:42:08.900 is driven
00:42:09.340 by pure
00:42:10.020 resentment,
00:42:11.600 which isn't
00:42:13.440 funny.
00:42:13.940 It's not
00:42:14.560 intentionally
00:42:14.980 funny anyway,
00:42:15.640 but it's not
00:42:16.280 funny to
00:42:17.820 listen to
00:42:18.640 someone be
00:42:19.040 resentful.
00:42:20.540 Maybe you
00:42:20.960 laugh at
00:42:21.460 them for
00:42:21.760 being pathetic,
00:42:23.660 but there's
00:42:25.220 no wit in
00:42:26.320 that.
00:42:26.540 the real
00:42:28.540 question is
00:42:28.960 why this
00:42:29.320 woman was
00:42:29.680 ever invited
00:42:30.120 to begin
00:42:30.500 with.
00:42:31.500 And I
00:42:32.340 had never
00:42:32.620 heard of
00:42:32.880 her before,
00:42:33.340 so I
00:42:33.700 went to
00:42:34.020 YouTube to
00:42:34.620 find her
00:42:36.460 stand-up.
00:42:37.640 And I
00:42:38.280 actually had
00:42:38.720 trouble finding
00:42:40.280 actual stand-up
00:42:41.500 comedy from
00:42:42.060 this person
00:42:42.560 who's supposedly
00:42:43.620 a comedian,
00:42:44.780 which should
00:42:45.060 tell you
00:42:45.280 something.
00:42:46.060 What I
00:42:46.640 found were
00:42:47.020 a bunch of
00:42:47.380 segments on
00:42:48.060 various late
00:42:48.920 night shows
00:42:49.480 and that sort
00:42:50.180 of thing.
00:42:50.820 I had trouble
00:42:51.380 finding a real
00:42:52.000 stand-up set,
00:42:53.120 which tells me
00:42:53.820 this is not a
00:42:54.400 real comedian.
00:42:55.000 This is someone
00:42:55.420 whose career
00:42:55.940 was astroturfed
00:42:57.060 because she's
00:42:57.540 a liberal
00:42:58.100 black female
00:42:58.760 comedian.
00:43:00.340 And so for
00:43:01.480 that reason,
00:43:02.260 she gets the
00:43:04.540 platforms even
00:43:05.200 though she's
00:43:05.460 not funny.
00:43:06.240 The closest
00:43:06.780 thing I could
00:43:07.220 find to a
00:43:07.920 stand-up set
00:43:08.580 was, just to
00:43:10.080 give you an
00:43:10.320 example, this
00:43:10.680 was a clip
00:43:11.160 from something
00:43:11.680 called the
00:43:12.080 Amber Ruffin
00:43:12.840 show on a
00:43:14.060 peacock.
00:43:15.160 And I don't
00:43:15.440 know if that
00:43:15.760 show still exists.
00:43:16.580 I never heard
00:43:17.040 of it.
00:43:17.720 Nobody had
00:43:18.220 ever heard of
00:43:18.680 it.
00:43:18.840 Nobody knows
00:43:19.160 who this
00:43:19.420 person is.
00:43:20.220 And yet she
00:43:21.220 had her own
00:43:21.680 show.
00:43:22.700 No one has
00:43:22.960 ever heard of
00:43:23.280 this person.
00:43:23.700 she had her
00:43:25.700 own show on
00:43:26.840 NBC's streaming
00:43:27.920 service, which
00:43:30.880 tells you again
00:43:31.480 the astroturfed
00:43:33.960 nature of these
00:43:35.300 kinds of supposed
00:43:36.700 comedians and
00:43:37.360 entertainers.
00:43:38.460 But here's the
00:43:39.120 first clip that
00:43:39.920 popped up on
00:43:40.520 YouTube of her
00:43:41.120 telling her
00:43:41.620 hilarious jokes.
00:43:42.560 Let's try to
00:43:43.240 bear as much of
00:43:44.280 this as we can.
00:43:45.340 Last Friday,
00:43:46.440 Texas Lieutenant
00:43:47.320 Governor Dan
00:43:48.060 Patrick vowed to
00:43:49.020 end tenure for
00:43:49.700 public university
00:43:50.540 professors who
00:43:51.280 teach critical race
00:43:52.480 theory in their
00:43:53.000 classrooms.
00:43:53.840 He tweeted,
00:43:54.760 we banned it in
00:43:55.480 publicly funded
00:43:56.300 K-12 and we
00:43:57.500 will ban it in
00:43:58.340 publicly funded
00:43:59.200 higher ed.
00:44:00.340 That is just one
00:44:01.740 of the most
00:44:02.140 recent examples of
00:44:03.320 white Americans
00:44:03.900 refusal to educate
00:44:05.000 students about the
00:44:06.200 advantages of being
00:44:07.060 white in this
00:44:07.660 country.
00:44:08.240 Well, if they
00:44:09.340 won't let schools
00:44:10.140 teach that lesson,
00:44:11.180 then I guess I'll
00:44:12.100 have to teach it
00:44:12.760 right here,
00:44:13.320 right now in a
00:44:14.200 little segment
00:44:14.700 called The ABCs
00:44:17.480 White Privilege.
00:44:21.600 There's a lot to
00:44:22.760 learn, so let's
00:44:23.740 get started.
00:44:24.980 A is for
00:44:25.660 assimilation.
00:44:26.840 Assimilation is
00:44:27.500 when people of
00:44:28.080 color have to
00:44:28.640 adjust natural
00:44:29.640 things about
00:44:30.160 themselves to
00:44:30.740 make white
00:44:31.120 people comfortable.
00:44:32.700 It doesn't get
00:44:33.720 any better than
00:44:34.240 that.
00:44:34.560 That's basically
00:44:35.300 it.
00:44:35.820 So she's like
00:44:36.500 Samantha Bee,
00:44:39.160 but somehow less
00:44:39.940 funny.
00:44:41.060 And I didn't
00:44:41.420 think that was
00:44:41.820 possible.
00:44:42.360 Samantha Bee is,
00:44:43.460 I thought,
00:44:44.320 in comedy terms,
00:44:46.840 she's,
00:44:47.760 well, applying
00:44:50.040 it to comedy,
00:44:50.680 in scientific
00:44:51.360 terms, she's
00:44:51.980 absolute zero of
00:44:53.760 comedy,
00:44:54.440 Samantha Bee is.
00:44:55.860 So how can you
00:44:56.680 be less funny
00:44:57.580 than an alleged
00:44:58.520 comedian who
00:44:59.360 had like a
00:45:00.120 20-year career
00:45:00.900 in comedy,
00:45:02.000 Samantha Bee
00:45:02.460 did, and yet
00:45:03.120 never once told
00:45:04.860 a funny joke?
00:45:05.520 Not one time.
00:45:07.160 Nobody in the
00:45:08.040 world can tell
00:45:09.220 you their favorite
00:45:09.900 Samantha Bee
00:45:10.740 joke.
00:45:12.320 I guarantee
00:45:13.180 that.
00:45:13.480 You've never in
00:45:14.400 your life met a
00:45:15.180 single human
00:45:15.900 anywhere on the
00:45:16.640 planet who
00:45:17.120 said, oh,
00:45:18.080 man, you
00:45:18.400 know, this
00:45:18.620 reminds me of
00:45:19.080 that great
00:45:19.460 Samantha Bee
00:45:20.240 bit.
00:45:21.280 It's never
00:45:21.820 happened.
00:45:22.580 Never said
00:45:23.100 anything funny,
00:45:23.720 ever.
00:45:24.460 But again,
00:45:24.980 her career,
00:45:25.860 of course,
00:45:26.060 was astroturf
00:45:26.760 because she
00:45:27.140 was a liberal
00:45:27.540 woman, and
00:45:28.100 the powers that
00:45:29.480 be wanted her
00:45:30.140 to be funny,
00:45:30.680 so they gave
00:45:31.180 her a career.
00:45:32.400 And now Amber
00:45:32.980 Ruffin has come
00:45:33.520 along and figured
00:45:34.300 out a way to be
00:45:34.860 less funny than
00:45:35.900 her, which I
00:45:37.660 didn't think was
00:45:38.160 possible.
00:45:40.940 Because the
00:45:41.600 thing with
00:45:41.980 liberal female
00:45:44.260 comedians,
00:45:44.900 is that they
00:45:47.020 don't even
00:45:47.460 understand what
00:45:48.280 a joke is.
00:45:50.240 Which is why I
00:45:50.900 find it fascinating
00:45:52.060 to watch them in
00:45:52.860 a certain way.
00:45:53.420 In a weird way,
00:45:54.180 it's entertaining.
00:45:54.840 It's entertaining in
00:45:55.740 the way that it
00:45:56.340 would be entertaining
00:45:56.960 if a space alien
00:45:59.560 from another galaxy
00:46:00.520 were to land here
00:46:01.560 and then for some
00:46:02.960 reason immediately
00:46:04.340 try to do a set at
00:46:05.660 the local comedy
00:46:06.400 club that same
00:46:07.720 night.
00:46:08.380 It would be a
00:46:10.060 fascinating thing to
00:46:11.360 watch.
00:46:11.760 because this is
00:46:12.780 someone who
00:46:13.160 doesn't understand
00:46:14.140 the concept of
00:46:15.180 a joke.
00:46:16.540 And I know you
00:46:17.120 might say, well,
00:46:17.680 there's no reason
00:46:18.140 to specify liberal
00:46:19.120 or, you know,
00:46:20.160 if you're talking
00:46:20.920 about female
00:46:21.300 comedians, most
00:46:21.920 of them are
00:46:22.140 funny.
00:46:22.340 You don't need
00:46:22.560 to specify
00:46:22.900 liberal in
00:46:23.480 front of that.
00:46:24.280 Or if you're
00:46:24.780 talking about
00:46:25.020 liberal comedians,
00:46:25.860 most of them
00:46:26.340 aren't funny,
00:46:26.740 so you don't
00:46:26.940 need to specify
00:46:27.640 female, which
00:46:30.320 is true.
00:46:30.820 But when you
00:46:31.980 combine the two,
00:46:32.800 liberal and
00:46:33.200 female, there's
00:46:33.720 just no chance.
00:46:35.480 You now have a
00:46:37.180 person who cannot
00:46:37.940 possibly be funny.
00:46:39.020 They don't even
00:46:42.340 understand the
00:46:43.000 basic construction
00:46:43.800 of a joke, and
00:46:44.500 yet this person
00:46:46.560 was invited to
00:46:47.420 the White House
00:46:48.160 to be the
00:46:49.760 comedian at the
00:46:50.320 White House
00:46:50.540 Correspondents
00:46:51.000 Dinner.
00:46:52.480 Lots of reasons
00:46:53.300 to cancel her,
00:46:54.140 but they finally
00:46:54.920 did anyway.
00:46:56.000 Let's be honest,
00:46:56.500 I have a long
00:46:56.960 list of things I'd
00:46:57.880 rather do than
00:46:58.560 maintain my gutters.
00:46:59.720 Cleaning gutters
00:47:00.300 ranks somewhere
00:47:01.020 between sitting
00:47:01.800 through a DMV
00:47:02.520 line and filing
00:47:03.260 taxes, but there's
00:47:04.260 an easier way,
00:47:05.180 leaf filter, so
00:47:06.320 you never have to
00:47:07.000 clean out your
00:47:07.500 gutters again.

00:47:15.820 You know those
00:47:16.300 cheap plastic
00:47:17.260 gutter guards they
00:47:18.040 sell at hardware
00:47:18.640 stores?
00:47:19.500 Spoiler alert,
00:47:20.100 they're about as
00:47:20.480 effective as using
00:47:21.320 a paper towel as
00:47:22.600 an umbrella.
00:47:23.600 As with most
00:47:24.520 things in life,
00:47:25.320 you get what you
00:47:25.920 pay for, and I'd
00:47:26.620 rather pay once for
00:47:27.740 something that
00:47:28.060 actually works than
00:47:28.900 repeatedly for
00:47:29.520 something that
00:47:29.840 doesn't work at
00:47:30.440 all.
00:47:31.100 An investment in
00:47:31.660 leaf filter is an
00:47:32.440 investment engineer
00:47:33.260 to protect your
00:47:34.060 whole home, because
00:47:35.340 nothing says I've
00:47:36.160 made poor life
00:47:36.800 choices quite like
00:47:37.680 watching water
00:47:38.540 cascade down your
00:47:39.580 interior walls from
00:47:40.540 clogged gutters.

00:48:52.580 Now let's get to our
00:48:53.380 daily cancellation.
00:49:00.300 You know, it's not every
00:49:01.200 day that I find myself
00:49:02.000 sympathizing with the
00:49:02.840 organization that calls
00:49:03.940 itself GLAAD, which is
00:49:05.200 short for the Gay and
00:49:06.460 Lesbian Alliance Against
00:49:07.600 Defamation.
00:49:08.700 These are people who,
00:49:09.860 contrary to their
00:49:10.600 branding, smear and
00:49:12.360 defame other people for
00:49:13.720 a living, including
00:49:14.300 myself.
00:49:15.300 They're as radical and
00:49:16.260 unpleasant as any other
00:49:17.760 fake nonprofit that
00:49:18.760 traffics in gender
00:49:19.600 ideology.
00:49:20.560 The day GLAAD is
00:49:21.220 finally shut down will be
00:49:22.100 a major victory for
00:49:23.140 sanity and free speech and
00:49:24.660 everything else in this
00:49:25.320 country.
00:49:25.580 But today, I have to
00:49:26.900 admit that I do have
00:49:27.740 some semblance of pity for
00:49:29.160 these people.
00:49:29.580 And that's because I saw
00:49:31.960 some clips from something
00:49:33.420 called the GLAAD Media
00:49:35.300 Awards, which is an
00:49:36.340 annual ceremony in which
00:49:37.420 they give awards to
00:49:38.400 entertainers who advance
00:49:40.080 the LGBT agenda in some
00:49:41.660 way.
00:49:42.540 And as I saw the footage
00:49:44.300 from the other day, it
00:49:45.980 occurred to me that this
00:49:47.420 is probably one of the
00:49:48.140 hardest award shows to
00:49:49.180 pull off simply because
00:49:50.080 it's redundant in every
00:49:51.900 imaginable way.
00:49:52.540 The Oscars and
00:49:53.180 Grammys have already
00:49:54.140 taken place, and that
00:49:55.740 means that gay men and
00:49:56.920 liberal women have already
00:49:58.600 convened this year
00:49:59.520 multiple times to
00:50:00.520 shower each other with
00:50:01.680 awards based on their
00:50:03.200 respective sexual
00:50:04.340 identities and
00:50:04.920 orientations.
00:50:06.160 Billie Eilish and that
00:50:07.200 trans actor who plays
00:50:08.400 the singing drug dealer
00:50:09.500 have already had their
00:50:10.340 time in the spotlight.
00:50:11.660 And after both of those
00:50:12.480 award shows, GLAAD is
00:50:13.520 left to basically do the
00:50:15.180 same thing.
00:50:15.960 So they are, once again,
00:50:17.460 hosting a gay award show,
00:50:19.360 except, of course, they
00:50:20.000 have a much lower budget
00:50:21.000 at the GLAAD Media
00:50:22.120 Awards.
00:50:22.500 And in practice, that
00:50:23.840 means we get mildly
00:50:25.080 entertaining moments like
00:50:26.120 this one, where in a
00:50:28.180 moment of inspiration,
00:50:29.220 the lesbian rapper
00:50:30.120 known as Dochi, I
00:50:32.760 think, decided to
00:50:34.120 perform a couple of
00:50:34.860 lines from one of her
00:50:35.800 songs without the
00:50:36.720 benefit of a backing
00:50:37.600 track of any kind.
00:50:38.660 And in the process, she
00:50:40.200 proved that she, of
00:50:41.660 course, can't actually
00:50:42.580 sing.
00:50:43.480 Watch.
00:50:44.760 The GLAAD Media Award
00:50:47.920 goes to...
00:50:48.420 Goes to...
00:50:48.960 Goes to...
00:50:49.400 You say it.
00:50:50.360 No, let's say it
00:50:50.780 together.
00:50:51.060 Let's say it
00:50:51.260 together.
00:50:51.520 Okay.
00:50:52.660 Dochi!
00:50:53.140 Dochi!
00:50:53.220 Dochi!
00:50:56.660 Thank you.
00:50:57.340 What?
00:51:01.980 Put the money in my
00:51:04.060 hands.
00:51:05.300 I'm in Gucci in a
00:51:06.160 son of a...
00:51:07.660 What's up, GLAAD Awards?
00:51:13.180 Now, in case you couldn't
00:51:14.280 make it out, the lyrics
00:51:15.380 were, put the mother-effing
00:51:16.600 money in my mother-effing
00:51:17.620 hands.
00:51:18.360 I'm in Gucci in a
00:51:20.080 bonnet spending mother-effing
00:51:21.940 bands.
00:51:22.880 Now, when she performed
00:51:23.620 her song at the Grammys a
00:51:24.800 few months ago, Dochi had
00:51:26.240 the benefit of elaborate
00:51:27.180 stage lighting, about a
00:51:28.960 thousand backup dancers, a
00:51:30.200 bunch of synthetic audio
00:51:31.200 enhancements.
00:51:32.040 But at the GLAAD Awards, she's
00:51:33.040 just a semi-literate woman
00:51:34.300 screaming profanities at you,
00:51:36.000 which, of course, she was the
00:51:36.960 entire time.
00:51:37.900 At the same time, there was
00:51:38.740 one alleged entertainer at the
00:51:40.100 GLAAD Awards who, against all
00:51:41.700 odds, managed to make Dochi look
00:51:43.360 like Shakespeare.
00:51:44.020 I'm talking about the
00:51:45.240 actress Cynthia Erivo, who
00:51:47.120 starred in the film Wicked,
00:51:48.480 which is, you know, some kind of
00:51:49.760 take off of The Wizard of Oz.
00:51:51.900 And during the GLAAD Awards
00:51:53.080 ceremony, Cynthia managed to
00:51:55.060 deliver a speech that was
00:51:56.760 vacuous and incoherent, even
00:51:58.880 by award show standards.
00:52:00.560 Just absolute pablum from
00:52:02.120 start to finish.
00:52:03.520 But you wouldn't know that if
00:52:04.740 you got your news from the
00:52:05.680 mainstream press.
00:52:06.540 For reasons that aren't
00:52:07.620 entirely clear, various media
00:52:08.860 outlets have lavished this
00:52:10.000 speech with over-the-top
00:52:11.160 praise.
00:52:12.020 CNN, for example, said that
00:52:13.120 Cynthia's speech was
00:52:14.000 inspiring.
00:52:15.640 They also posted the full
00:52:16.860 transcript of the speech on
00:52:18.780 their website, like it was the
00:52:20.140 State of the Union address or
00:52:21.140 something.
00:52:21.900 Meanwhile, USA Today called the
00:52:23.180 speech a tearjerker, Yahoo
00:52:25.440 called it powerful, and so on
00:52:27.220 and so on and so on.
00:52:28.640 And you know what that means,
00:52:30.100 of course.
00:52:30.320 We have to go through
00:52:31.260 Cynthia's speech piece by
00:52:32.340 piece and make fun of it.
00:52:33.760 It's just, it's my duty.
00:52:34.900 It's why this segment exists.
00:52:36.700 Yes, so we're going to
00:52:37.700 extract some entertainment
00:52:38.740 value against all odds from
00:52:40.400 the GLAAD Awards if we can.
00:52:41.580 And to that end, behold the
00:52:43.120 beginning of Cynthia's
00:52:44.220 remarks.
00:52:44.880 If you're a mainstream media
00:52:46.440 journalist, steal yourself
00:52:48.060 because the tears are about
00:52:50.640 to start flowing.
00:52:52.140 Listen.
00:52:53.800 Here in this room, we have
00:52:55.760 all been the recipients of
00:52:57.880 the gift that is the
00:52:59.120 opportunity to be more.
00:53:01.880 I doubt that it has come easy
00:53:03.280 to any of us, but more.
00:53:06.640 For some, the road has not
00:53:08.920 been one paved with yellow
00:53:10.940 bricks, but instead paved with
00:53:13.880 bumps and potholes.
00:53:17.020 This is worth reading out loud
00:53:18.760 one more time.
00:53:19.520 And as I read this, keep in
00:53:20.640 mind that somebody was paid
00:53:21.660 to write it.
00:53:22.700 And then Cynthia read it.
00:53:24.400 And then the entire corporate
00:53:25.860 media celebrated it.
00:53:27.580 She says, quote, here in this
00:53:28.760 room, we have all been the
00:53:29.760 recipients of the gift that is
00:53:31.440 the opportunity to be more.
00:53:33.680 I doubt that it has come easy
00:53:34.840 to any of us, but more for
00:53:36.480 some, the road has not been
00:53:38.360 one paved with yellow bricks,
00:53:40.320 but instead paved with bumps
00:53:41.740 and potholes.
00:53:43.540 Now, the more I read this
00:53:44.440 particular passage, the more
00:53:45.360 it becomes clear that there's
00:53:46.920 really only one explanation for
00:53:48.220 its existence.
00:53:48.760 Cynthia must have hired Kamala
00:53:50.500 Harris's speechwriter.
00:53:52.080 If Kamala Harris were the
00:53:53.300 president today, there's no
00:53:54.640 doubt whatsoever that we'd be
00:53:55.960 hearing about how everyone in
00:53:57.200 the room is the recipient of
00:53:58.380 the gift that is the
00:53:59.120 opportunity to be more.
00:54:00.680 So it's a perfect Kamala-ism
00:54:02.980 right there.
00:54:04.340 And then we'd be hearing about
00:54:05.120 how the roads are paved with
00:54:07.060 potholes, as if that's a normal
00:54:08.640 part of the process of road
00:54:09.760 construction.
00:54:10.780 You see, when you're mixing
00:54:11.560 metaphors and your IQ is below
00:54:12.960 80, you find yourself making
00:54:14.200 mistakes like this.
00:54:14.940 You start sputtering out lines
00:54:16.200 that, of course, make no sense
00:54:17.420 whatsoever.
00:54:18.140 But I interrupted Cynthia, so
00:54:19.680 let's continue with her inspiring
00:54:21.080 and monumental and, as the media
00:54:23.160 says, powerful speech.
00:54:24.840 This is where things start
00:54:25.980 getting heavy, and she begins
00:54:27.060 talking about invisible people
00:54:28.860 who lurk among us.
00:54:30.720 Sounds, you know, kind of
00:54:32.240 frightening, but here it is.
00:54:33.520 Watch.
00:54:33.680 Whichever road you have traveled,
00:54:36.820 how beautiful it is that you've
00:54:38.440 had a road to travel on at all.
00:54:42.000 There are the invisible ones who
00:54:43.780 have had no road at all.
00:54:46.540 For those who have not even yet to
00:54:48.700 begin to find the road, be
00:54:52.200 encouraged and be patient with
00:54:54.580 yourself.
00:54:55.860 It will show itself.
00:54:57.320 For the person who is searching and
00:54:59.900 searching and has not found it yet,
00:55:02.500 this room is full of people who
00:55:05.880 can and will, if they choose, and I
00:55:08.640 hope they will, because I do, to be
00:55:12.640 lanterns to light up your journey and
00:55:16.200 your path on the way to showing the
00:55:18.060 world who you are.
00:55:21.200 So let's chart this the best we can.
00:55:23.980 She says, whichever road you have
00:55:25.640 traveled, how beautiful it is that
00:55:27.160 you've had a road to travel on at
00:55:28.480 all.
00:55:28.840 There are the invisible ones who have
00:55:30.860 no road at all.
00:55:32.640 In other words, there are invisible
00:55:34.120 ones who do not have any road to
00:55:35.660 travel.
00:55:36.140 That means they have no path, period.
00:55:38.360 They can't see the road because it's
00:55:39.340 not there.
00:55:40.540 And additionally, no one can see
00:55:42.280 these invisible ones because they're
00:55:43.620 invisible.
00:55:44.140 So there's no road.
00:55:45.400 They're invisible.
00:55:46.240 It's a tough situation to be in.
00:55:48.540 Circumstances are pretty dire in the
00:55:50.240 metaphor that Kamala Harris, a
00:55:51.440 speechwriter, has established.
00:55:52.840 But then we get this line, quote,
00:55:53.920 for those who have not yet even
00:55:55.160 begun to find the road, be
00:55:56.360 encouraged and be patient with
00:55:57.380 yourself.
00:55:57.820 It will show itself, which adds a
00:55:59.980 couple of layers of complexity to
00:56:01.220 the situation.
00:56:01.720 Now we're told that if the
00:56:03.420 invisible people are patient, then
00:56:04.720 the road will show itself.
00:56:06.460 And this is the same road that a
00:56:07.620 second ago supposedly didn't exist
00:56:09.120 at all, according to Cynthia.
00:56:10.040 But now she's implying the road will
00:56:11.360 spontaneously appear for these
00:56:12.800 invisible people as long as they
00:56:14.480 stop being impatient.
00:56:15.920 That's her message to all the
00:56:17.100 invisible people who don't see
00:56:18.380 the road.
00:56:18.740 She's really saying that they're the
00:56:20.400 problem because they don't
00:56:21.100 understand the concept of
00:56:21.960 patience, I guess.
00:56:22.960 But there's no point in dwelling on
00:56:24.160 how Cynthia is insulting the
00:56:25.860 millions of invisible people
00:56:26.880 watching the GLAAD Awards.
00:56:28.460 Because just a few seconds later,
00:56:29.380 she goes on to contradict
00:56:30.240 herself once again, quote,
00:56:32.040 the room is full of people who
00:56:33.120 can and will, if they choose,
00:56:34.280 and I hope they will, because I
00:56:35.360 do, be the lanterns to light up
00:56:37.600 your journey and your path on
00:56:38.880 your way to showing the world
00:56:40.140 who you are.
00:56:41.520 And she adds that the invisible
00:56:42.460 people are hoping for someone to
00:56:43.760 come along and light their path.
00:56:45.700 So now we're back to the idea
00:56:46.580 that actually the road won't
00:56:47.880 spontaneously reveal itself
00:56:48.960 after all.
00:56:49.760 And that's why apparently the
00:56:51.020 invisible people would benefit from
00:56:53.020 various entertainers of the
00:56:54.100 GLAAD Awards using their
00:56:55.240 lanterns to light up the path
00:56:56.920 for the invisible people.
00:56:59.440 And evidently, this is a path
00:57:00.660 that exists, even though a
00:57:01.520 moment ago we were told that
00:57:02.360 those people have no road at
00:57:03.320 all, whether it's paved with
00:57:04.460 potholes or not.
00:57:06.060 Very crystal clear, inspiring
00:57:07.660 message here.
00:57:08.720 If you're an invisible person
00:57:09.700 who exists in pitch black
00:57:10.620 darkness, the message from the
00:57:12.320 speech is that you're extremely
00:57:14.220 impatient and your life depends
00:57:16.320 on a gay actor lighting a
00:57:18.120 lantern for you.
00:57:19.460 So good luck, I suppose.
00:57:21.220 In case it's not obvious, the
00:57:22.220 only person who's capable of
00:57:23.400 reading a speech like this out
00:57:24.600 loud without any hesitation
00:57:25.680 whatsoever is a narcissist
00:57:27.140 who's incapable of experiencing
00:57:28.680 shame or embarrassment.
00:57:30.400 It's not just poorly written,
00:57:31.540 it's also extraordinarily
00:57:32.820 self-assured when it has
00:57:35.000 absolutely no reason to be.
00:57:36.760 Cynthia, like everyone else in
00:57:37.860 that room, has a pathological
00:57:40.460 sense of superiority that is very
00:57:42.180 much unearned.
00:57:43.480 And at one point in the speech,
00:57:44.720 she essentially admitted as much.
00:57:47.260 Like all narcissists, she can't
00:57:48.580 help herself.
00:57:49.500 So watch as multimillionaire Cynthia
00:57:51.480 wallows in self-pity about how
00:57:53.240 difficult her life is before she
00:57:55.360 announces that she is superior to
00:57:57.240 you in every way.
00:57:58.820 Watch.
00:58:00.220 It isn't easy.
00:58:02.980 None of it is.
00:58:05.260 Waking up and choosing to be
00:58:06.960 yourself, proclaiming a space
00:58:09.340 belongs to you when you don't feel
00:58:10.900 welcomed, teaching people on a
00:58:13.540 daily basis how to address you
00:58:15.440 and dealing with the frustration of
00:58:17.520 reteaching people a word that has
00:58:19.240 been in the human vocabulary since
00:58:21.080 the dawn of time.
00:58:22.900 They, them.
00:58:31.840 Words used to describe pedantically
00:58:34.100 two or more people.
00:58:36.500 Poetically, a person who is simply
00:58:38.900 more.
00:58:40.900 This is the one moment in the GLAAD
00:58:42.700 Awards that was actually revealing
00:58:44.360 and somewhat interesting.
00:58:45.820 Not how it was intended, of course,
00:58:47.580 but it's kind of an incredible clip
00:58:50.100 there.
00:58:50.520 She says that they, them is
00:58:52.580 pedantically used to describe two
00:58:55.340 or more people, but then she says
00:58:56.800 that they, them pronouns are
00:58:58.740 poetically used to describe someone
00:59:00.760 who is, quote, simply more.
00:59:04.120 And this is what I've been saying
00:59:05.020 about the non-binary phenomenon
00:59:06.440 since I first heard about it.
00:59:08.420 These are not people who are
00:59:09.900 confused about their identities.
00:59:11.440 This is not gender dysphoria, and
00:59:13.740 this certainly isn't about someone
00:59:14.840 struggling for equality or whatever.
00:59:16.580 However, these are raging
00:59:18.100 narcissists who believe that their
00:59:20.020 inner experience is so much
00:59:21.380 richer and more complex than the
00:59:24.160 average person.
00:59:25.860 You heard her say it.
00:59:26.700 They believe that they are more
00:59:28.160 than the rest of us, you know, us
00:59:30.120 normal people with our boring
00:59:31.740 singular pronouns.
00:59:33.740 Simply by declaring that their
00:59:35.120 pronouns are they, them.
00:59:36.080 They have achieved transcendence.
00:59:38.220 And as a result, she's now forced to
00:59:40.000 educate all the morons out there who
00:59:42.000 can't comprehend this, even though,
00:59:43.740 you know, they, them has apparently
00:59:45.260 been used, according to Cynthia,
00:59:47.040 since the dawn of time.
00:59:49.520 Yes, from the moment we had the
00:59:51.420 concept of time, we had the
00:59:53.420 English language and they, them
00:59:54.680 pronouns.
00:59:55.700 This is how these people think.
00:59:56.780 They cannot comprehend that the
00:59:58.520 world existed for even a moment
01:00:00.980 without their delusional worldview.
01:00:03.740 That's why this entire award
01:00:04.840 ceremony ultimately devolved into
01:00:06.500 this unabashed display of
01:00:08.460 narcissism in which a bunch of
01:00:10.520 RuPaul's drag queens told everyone
01:00:12.780 in attendance to hug themselves
01:00:14.540 and recite a pledge about how
01:00:17.800 amazing they are.
01:00:20.140 This literally happened.
01:00:22.260 Watch.
01:00:23.560 So I want to invite every single one
01:00:25.800 of you, will you hold this?
01:00:27.780 To wave your hands in the air like
01:00:30.440 this.
01:00:32.080 Wave them up in the air.
01:00:33.620 Charge it up.
01:00:34.700 This isn't TV.
01:00:35.500 I can see you.
01:00:36.320 Put your hands up.
01:00:37.140 Put your hands up.
01:00:40.620 Thank you.
01:00:41.660 Now wrap them around yourselves
01:00:43.080 and repeat after me.
01:00:44.840 I truly love and accept myself.
01:00:47.060 One, two, three.
01:00:48.080 I truly love and accept myself.
01:00:50.560 That was a little depressing.
01:00:51.880 Let's say it like we're at the
01:00:52.820 GLAAD Awards, y'all.
01:00:53.960 One, two, three.
01:00:55.540 I truly love and accept myself.
01:00:58.620 No matter what anybody has to say
01:01:00.120 to you or about you, always remember
01:01:01.660 to truly love and accept who you are,
01:01:03.140 when you are, where you are, how you are.
01:01:04.580 You are perfect today.
01:01:05.760 So there we go.
01:01:09.980 The acceptance speech ended with
01:01:11.120 everyone at the GLAAD Awards
01:01:12.040 hugging themselves and pronouncing
01:01:13.340 that they love themselves
01:01:14.280 as loudly as they could.
01:01:16.520 If Cynthia's metaphors were mixed
01:01:18.160 and incoherent, this one is pretty
01:01:19.640 on the nose.
01:01:20.900 You listen to the gender activists
01:01:22.040 talk long enough, and sooner or later
01:01:23.360 it'll become obvious that they're
01:01:24.580 not actually interested in acceptance
01:01:25.920 or tolerance.
01:01:26.740 They're not even really committed
01:01:27.580 to their fake genders exactly.
01:01:29.340 They're only committed to themselves.
01:01:31.180 Gender ideology is, as I've always said,
01:01:33.640 the ultimate expression of narcissism.
01:01:36.380 And while Cynthia Erivo made very little sense
01:01:38.780 throughout her incomprehensible rant,
01:01:41.160 credit where it's due.
01:01:41.980 She expressed that particular fact
01:01:44.040 very, very clearly.
01:01:45.740 And that is why Cynthia Erivo
01:01:47.500 and the rest of the narcissists
01:01:49.120 at the GLAAD Media Awards
01:01:50.860 are today canceled.
01:01:53.860 That'll do it for the show today.
01:01:54.600 Thanks for watching.
01:01:55.120 Thanks for listening.
01:01:55.860 Talk to you tomorrow.
01:01:56.400 Have a great day.
01:01:57.300 Godspeed.
01:01:57.620 Have a great day.
01:02:01.640 Bye-bye.
01:02:02.020 Have a great day.
01:02:03.640 Thanks for listening to today.
