Carmelo Anthony has been charged with the murder of Austin Metcalf, a 17-year-old black high school student who was stabbed to death in Frisco, Texas on April 2nd, 2019. He claims he acted in self-defense and that he was the victim of a racist, anti-white mob attack. But the actual facts of the case tell a different story.
00:07:36.180I want to start off this press conference
00:07:38.580to say something as a deep note, a deep note that I can tell America.
00:07:49.580What we've seen at the beginning of this press conference,
00:07:54.580of the father being at this press conference, these are my words. Don't quote anybody.
00:08:02.800is a disrespect to the dignity of his son.
00:08:09.300So he says, what we've seen at the beginning of this press conference, of the father being at this
00:08:13.360press conference, is a disrespect to the dignity of his son. Close quote.
00:08:18.900Well, he can barely speak English, even though he's apparently the spokesman for this family.
00:08:23.460That's your first problem, getting a spokesman who can't speak.
00:08:25.740Really, he's doing marketing for the Next Generation Action Network, or whatever it's called.
00:08:31.940But at the same time, even though this guy's barely able to string a sentence together,
00:08:36.880the message is very clear. He's saying that the father of Austin Metcalf, whose name he can't even
00:08:42.060pronounce, and whose son was just brutally murdered by his client, doesn't deserve to be in the same room
00:08:48.240as the family of Carmelo Anthony. And then he implies he has some sort of dirt on Austin Metcalf,
00:08:54.140but he doesn't want to say what it is. He just wants to smear the name of the dead child as much
00:08:58.880as possible. He also clearly wants to torment Jeff Metcalf, a grieving father, who has shown
00:09:03.740Carmelo Anthony and his family infinitely more grace and compassion than they deserve, and certainly
00:09:09.880much more compassion and grace than they are showing him. And for good measure, he implies that
00:09:14.740Jeff Metcalf is a racist. And then they had the police come and throw Jeff out of the press
00:09:20.480conference. And of course, when Jeff Metcalf was told to leave, interestingly enough,
00:09:24.880he didn't stab anyone as Carmelo Anthony did in the same situation. Now, this illiterate scumbag
00:09:32.080knows exactly what he's doing. He understands that Anthony's only real chance of acquittal
00:09:36.360is to stoke racial conflict in the hopes that he can pollute the jury. That's the only chance he has.
00:09:42.640Because they've got him dead to rights on the facts. He brought a knife where it wasn't supposed to
00:09:47.340be. He brought a knife to a school event. That's problem number one. Took it out and stabbed
00:09:51.680someone, even though he couldn't possibly have really feared for his life in that scenario.
00:09:55.840Tried to ditch the murder weapon, ran away, and then asked the police whether he has a plausible
00:10:00.780self-defense claim. Which, that fact alone, by the way, even without all the rest of it, that fact
00:10:06.800alone should basically sink him. Because any self-defense claim is going to hinge, to begin with,
00:10:14.600at a minimum, on the defendant being able to say that he believed he was in fear for his life.
00:10:23.520That he, that, you know, at least he believed it was self-defense. Well, the defendant can't say that
00:10:29.280because he revealed his state of mind to the police shortly after, and he wasn't sure whether
00:10:34.760it was self-defense or not. And that's really what this entire press conference was about. At no point
00:10:41.180during his remarks, which lasted around 30 minutes, did Dominique Alexander outline a coherent defense
00:10:47.260of what Anthony did. Instead, in addition to lashing out at the victim's father, he suggested that the
00:10:53.120Frisco School District was actually responsible for Austin Metcalfe's death because they didn't cancel
00:10:59.000the track meet during inclement weather. Yes, that's actually what he said. Anthony stabbed and killed
00:11:05.660somebody because it was raining. And it's the school's fault for not canceling the event
00:11:11.980because of the rain. They should have known that when it was raining, they got to cancel it because
00:11:17.020if they don't, somebody might get stabbed. You know, this is, uh, this is what the school should
00:11:21.180have known ahead of time. So he demanded to know why the media wasn't holding the school district
00:11:26.120responsible for holding the track meet during the rain. As if that explains in any way whatsoever,
00:11:31.380uh, why Carmelo Anthony killed Austin Metcalfe. Watch. I'm trying to find how many of y'all
00:11:38.420have asked the superintendent or one single board of trustee. Why didn't you cancel or postpone
00:11:46.420with weather in that magnitude? You couldn't have a track meet in rain or thunderstorm or clouds.
00:11:55.140Y'all are the media. Ask your journalists, your weather journalists, how the weather was that day
00:12:01.860in that time. Y'all do that research. Because as a person who is the administrator of yet children,
00:12:13.700you are responsible for the safety of the children. And so it seems as if Frisco ISD is trying to push this
00:12:24.420off. Yeah. How many of y'all have asked why the school district didn't cancel the track meet?
00:12:29.780And for that matter, how many of y'all have asked why Austin Metcalfe decided to attend the track meet
00:12:34.260in the first place? Now, if he had never gone, then he wouldn't have gotten killed. And how many
00:12:38.900of y'all have asked why track meets even exist as a concept? Is it really even a legitimate sport
00:12:44.100in the first place? After all, if track meets didn't exist, then Austin Metcalfe would still be alive
00:12:49.140today. So why aren't y'all asking about that? Now, to call this line of reasoning low IQ as an insult to
00:12:56.580every bottom-feeding microbe that exists in the deepest depths of the ocean, this is probably the
00:13:02.180most flagrant and ineffective attempt to deflect responsibility from Carmelo Anthony that's possible
00:13:07.060to articulate while keeping a straight face. And it gets worse when you consider the context of what
00:13:12.420this guy is saying. The reason he's going after the school district is that they've announced that
00:13:17.780they plan to expel Anthony. And under the circumstances, that's a very reasonable decision.
00:13:24.260After all, we don't want any more teenagers to be stabbed to death if we can help it.
00:13:28.660Every school district in the country has very strict rules against bringing deadly weapons to
00:13:33.380school events. And they also have rules against using the weapon to kill another student.
00:13:38.980But the Next Generation Action Network is not happy with the school district's plans.
00:13:44.820And so now they are threatening the school district. Watch.
00:13:49.700We've asked that Frisco do not make a decision in this situation. But Frisco ISD has notified of
00:14:00.340their intent to expel Carmelo Anthony from school one month before his high school graduation.
00:14:06.980That just shows me that Frisco ISD is trying to push off the blame. The Next Generation Action Network,
00:14:18.740outside of the legal process, will be going through different avenues regarding to ensure
00:14:28.180that we fight for the rights of Carmelo Anthony. Okay? So in the next coming days, we will be announcing
00:14:35.460to the public. We will do direct action outside of Frisco ISD administration office.
00:14:43.700Because this is outright wrong. You are getting involved in a process that even the legal process
00:14:51.300has asked us to respect. Yes, they're planning direct action outside the offices of the school district,
00:14:59.140because Anthony isn't going to be allowed to graduate. And you know, Austin Metcalf isn't going to graduate
00:15:06.180either because he's dead. But no, the real tragedy is that Anthony won't be able to graduate. He's not
00:15:11.540gonna be able to walk across the stage and graduate after stabbing and killing another kid at a school
00:15:17.300event. What an outrage. That's what this Next Generation activist group is focusing on. Their top priority,
00:15:24.580just a couple of weeks after their client stabs somebody to death, is intimidating the local
00:15:29.460school district over a graduation ceremony. They're not interested in mounting a substantive
00:15:34.740legal defense or convincing anyone that their client is actually innocent. All they're capable of doing
00:15:39.460is intimidating everybody in their path, whether it's the victim's father or the school district.
00:15:44.580Now, putting it mildly, that's a sign that these people are not very bright or effective,
00:15:49.220and they're also deeply, deeply evil. And later on in the press conference, they made their
00:15:54.100incompetence even more apparent. Watch as Dominique Alexander invokes somebody named Daniel Penna,
00:15:59.780and then claims that Kyle Rittenhouse shot multiple people in the back with an AK-47,
00:16:05.060none of which is true or makes any sense whatsoever. But here it is.
00:16:07.940Because these racist bigots try to prevent us from standing up for our baby, our boy,
00:16:17.380he should be afforded the same rights that Kyle Rittenhouse had.
00:16:22.980Daniel Penna and all of the people who have claimed whatever their defense was,
00:16:31.300he should be afforded the same right. Nobody in the public media has one video camera,
00:16:36.580but we got the video of Kyle Rittenhouse with an AK-47 shooting three people in the back.
00:16:43.300We got that. And he raised more than $2 million publicly, and nobody says anything.
00:16:51.300So since they tried to come for us, I call for the community's overwhelming support for this fund.
00:17:00.180The disinformation that was put out was literally deliberate to prevent you from helping this family.
00:17:09.780You know, it's pretty incredible to watch. He's ranting about disinformation.
00:17:13.540And then he states in the same breath that Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people in the back with an AK-47.
00:17:22.180First of all, Kyle Rittenhouse was not carrying an AK-47. He used an AR-15 style weapon, which is not remotely the same thing.
00:17:28.580Secondly, Kyle Rittenhouse did not shoot three people in the back. In fact, there's a very graphic and iconic photo from the trial,
00:17:34.500which clearly demonstrates that Kyle Rittenhouse shot Gage Grosskraut in the arm while he was charging at Rittenhouse with a handgun.
00:17:44.180Rittenhouse also shot another man named Anthony Huber one time in the chest.
00:17:48.100And the first attacker that Rittenhouse shot, a child molester named Joseph Rosenbaum, was initially hit in the groin, then in the hand and the thigh.
00:17:56.780Then he was shot in the head and ultimately the back.
00:17:59.380In other words, in no sense did Kyle Rittenhouse shoot three men in the back with an AK-47.
00:18:03.820Literally no part of that sentence is true.
00:18:05.700And the most important point in the Rittenhouse case is that all of the people he shot were trying to kill or seriously harm him.
00:18:11.740But the race hustler wants you to believe that, you know, this guy's fake retelling of the case so that he can draw a fake parallel with Kyle Rittenhouse and Daniel Penna.
00:18:22.980But Rittenhouse and Daniel Penna raised money because they were clearly innocent.
00:18:28.000And that's also to say nothing of the fact that all of these race hustlers who are comparing this to Rittenhouse and Penna,
00:18:34.660all of them said that Rittenhouse and Penna were guilty.
00:18:40.100So by their own testimony, they are admitting that Carmelo Anthony is guilty.
00:18:45.640You can page through the comments on the Give, Send, Go account for Carmelo Anthony.
00:18:50.540And it becomes very clear what all this is really about.
00:18:53.660Here's just a handful of representative comments that were posted on the Give, Send, Go.
00:19:00.020All of these comments have several likes indicating that they're popular in the community.
00:19:03.840And also importantly, all of these comments are from people who actually donated money.
00:19:08.100So these are not just random Twitter trolls or random Internet trolls.
00:19:12.840These are people who gave money, in some cases, you know, a good little chunk of money,
00:19:18.580and then left a comment explaining why they gave money.
00:19:22.040So I'm going to read a couple of these comments.
00:22:02.360We're supposed to feel sorry for these people and pretend to be impressed by their parenting.
00:22:07.900And then we're supposed to believe whatever she's saying about give, send, go.
00:22:11.640Now, of course, it's quite possible that she hasn't withdrawn any of the money from the give, send, go.
00:22:16.100And at the same time, it's possible that this next generation action network is fronting some money until the check from give, send, go clears.
00:22:22.780That certainly wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility.
00:22:25.860After all, this action network is clearly fronting some bodyguards and other various amenities for the family.
00:22:31.100They're uploading footage showing how they're treating Carmelo Anthony, which is like they're treating him like a celebrity.
00:24:04.820They want you to know that having killed a white kid, Anthony is being treated like, you know, Kobe Bryant or something.
00:24:10.280They want to send the message to other black kids that they'll get the same treatment if they decide to shank a white student at their school.
00:24:16.280Now, we'll play one final clip from this horror show of a press conference, if only to make it clear how shameless these people are, how little self-awareness they have.
00:24:23.780Watch as Dominic Alexander attacks Donald Trump and then explains that he's not pulling the race card, even as he pulls the race card and rubs it in everybody's face.
00:25:02.860Maybe now's the time to mention that Dominic Alexander was convicted in 2009 for shaking his girlfriend's two-year-old child until the child's brain started bleeding.
00:25:11.900Only spent eight days in jail for that crime somehow.
00:25:14.560Maybe now's the time to mention that Dominic Alexander was also indicted in 2019 for assaulting a woman.
00:25:19.260We could also talk about his legal troubles for allegedly stealing a car, evading arrest, forging a check.
00:25:25.580Yes, the representative for the Camelo Anthony family is himself a thug and a career criminal who should have been thrown in prison a long time ago.
00:25:34.700This is a situation that's so absurd, so on the nose, that it seems like it has to be parody.
00:25:41.720I mean, this is the playbook that the BLM types are running in order to secure an acquittal for a student who just killed a white student for no reason whatsoever.
00:25:50.020These are the representatives that they're choosing.
00:25:59.820All these years after the civil rights era and affirmative action and Barack Obama would supposedly usher in a new generation of equality and racial harmony, we're approaching Rwanda circa 1994 at high speed.
00:26:11.140And whatever happens to Camelo Anthony, everyone in this country needs to be aware of that.
00:26:16.460Open racial resentment is how they plan to get Camelo Anthony off the hook.
00:26:23.860And the really unsettling thing, which is even more unsettling than this horror show of a press conference, is that it just might work.
00:26:32.180As Doge continues to surgically cut the fat from decades of bloated government spending and corruption, Pure Talk, the cell phone company I use for business, is cutting the fat from the wireless company, the wireless industry rather.
00:26:43.560That's right, Pure Talk says, I don't think so, to $100 a month cell phone plans, which is just wasteful.

00:27:27.880America is on the comeback, but the fight for the truth is far from over.

00:27:54.280Now let's get to our daily cancellation.
00:27:55.720Okay, we're going to skip the headlines today and go right into the cancellation because I want to talk about this.
00:28:07.100If you're a politician and you're desperately trying to make people care about a particular issue, even though no one in their right mind would care about it, there's a familiar tactic you can rely on.
00:28:18.480You can try to convince everyone that unless you get your way, they're going to suffer somehow in their personal lives.
00:28:25.140You can construct a scenario in which there will be real tangible consequences for people who disobey.
00:28:30.200For example, Barack Obama claimed that if you didn't support him, then climate change would probably destroy the planet.
00:28:35.440Joe Biden said that if you didn't vote for him, then COVID would wipe out your entire family.
00:28:40.580Of course, Kamala Harris made the case that if you didn't vote for her, then you might not be able to castrate yourself in prison at taxpayer expense
00:28:47.360in order to affirm your subjective sense of gender identity.
00:28:49.980All of these arguments, however persuasive you might find them, were intended to make you say,
00:28:54.000well, I don't want that horrible thing to happen to me, therefore I'm voting for this particular politician.
00:28:59.240But as common as this tactic may be, it does have its limits.
00:29:02.800And if you want an illustration of those limits, look no further than the current line of argument from leading Democrats,
00:29:09.520including Tim Walz and Elizabeth Warren.
00:29:11.200At the moment, they're all trying to convince you to empathize with an illegal alien named Kilmar Abrego-Garcia,
00:29:18.180who was deported by the Trump administration last month to El Salvador.
00:29:21.600You've certainly heard about this case.
00:29:23.820And to that end, Tim Walz and Elizabeth Warren want you to imagine a world in which you're walking in Abrego-Garcia's shoes.
00:29:30.960In order to convince you to care about this man's plight,
00:29:33.520they're inviting you to pretend that somehow you share his problems,
00:29:37.580and that someday soon, you know, you might share in his fate as well.
