00:00:00.000 Then that will show the left is outraged at me because I dare to suggest that a pro amnesty Republican politician is not a real American, which raises what will be the new central question for our culture.
00:00:10.600 What is an American? We'll discuss. Also, the White House doubled down on its claims that the Obama administration concocted a treasonous conspiracy to undermine the will of the voters in 2016.
00:00:19.480 And a very popular new app exists solely to give women a forum to spread gossip about men they don't like.
00:00:24.740 Plus, a major construction site in Nashville is shut down after someone finds a noose on the premises, supposedly.
00:00:30.580 The epidemic of invisible nooses on construction sites is still apparently ongoing.
00:00:35.440 We'll talk about all that and more today in The Matt Wall Show.
00:00:54.740 A couple of months ago, Vandy Crisps started advertising on the show, and honestly, I was hooked right away.
00:01:08.580 This chip has only three ingredients, but it tastes better than all the chips you're getting at the store.
00:01:13.700 And those aren't really chips. They're more of a chip-like substance made from a chemical cocktail.
00:01:17.920 So, Vandy Crisps are just chips. Real, honest to God.
00:01:22.460 Potato chips made the way they used to be made, the way God intended, before the food industry got hijacked by scientists feeding us their latest experiment.
00:01:30.200 Heirloom potatoes, sea salt, 100%, grass-fed beef tallow. That's it. That's the whole ingredient list.
00:01:36.640 And the tallow isn't some gimmick. It's what the chips were cooked in for decades.
00:01:40.700 In fact, Vandy didn't reinvent the wheel. They just went back to the version that worked before corporations turned us into guinea pigs.
00:01:46.420 Look, you shouldn't have to feel anxious about a snack. You shouldn't have to cross-check labels like you're scanning for radiation.
00:01:53.360 What you want is something that tastes amazing, doesn't wreck your body, and is safe to hand to your kids without wondering what it's doing to their hormones and all the rest of it.
00:02:01.920 And that is Vandy. Ready to give Vandy a try? You really should. These chips are the best chips I've ever had.
00:02:07.800 And I will say that. I will put my name on that claim.
00:02:11.660 And ready to give Vandy a try? Well, go to VandyCrisps.com slash Walsh and use code Walsh for 25% off your first order.
00:02:18.800 That's VandyCrisps.com slash Walsh and code Walsh for 25% off your first order.
00:02:24.760 As a general rule, it's worth paying attention whenever the big Soros-backed mouthpieces for the Democrat Party go out of their way to defend Republicans.
00:02:32.600 It doesn't happen very often, and it never happens by accident.
00:02:35.320 If nothing else, Democrats are extremely precise and coordinated with their messaging.
00:02:40.840 So I couldn't help but notice when earlier this week the left-wing outfit Media Matters, which is somehow still operational, I also discovered,
00:02:48.540 decided to go all in on defending Florida Republican Congresswoman Maria Salazar.
00:02:52.960 In case you missed it earlier this week, we discussed Salazar's new plan to award amnesty to tens of millions of illegal aliens living in the United States.
00:03:01.900 Salazar doesn't call the bill amnesty, but that's exactly what it is.
00:03:05.200 The point is to grant legal status to foreigners who have no right to be in this country in the first place, all of whom are therefore criminals.
00:03:10.760 They broke the law coming here.
00:03:12.280 And by her own admission, Salazar intends legislation to enable a future path to citizenship for these foreign nationals and their families.
00:03:20.160 The idea is that she's going to have a bill that keeps them all here, and then someone else will come in and grant them citizenship.
00:03:27.860 Foreigners from places like Cuba, that is, where Salazar's parents were born, are understandably thrilled by this legislation.
00:03:36.480 But Americans understand that, like so many other similar amnesty proposals from Washington in the past few decades,
00:03:43.380 this is yet another attempt to undermine American sovereignty and to facilitate the invasion of our country.
00:03:48.700 When Salazar stands up at the podium, speaking a foreign language as she lectures Americans about how shameful we are,
00:03:56.180 the appropriate response is exactly what I said the other day.
00:03:58.740 Maria Salazar should leave the country.
00:04:00.540 She doesn't believe the United States has borders, which means she doesn't believe we're a real country.
00:04:05.160 She's trying to undermine our sovereignty.
00:04:07.160 She has open content for American citizens as she works on overtime on behalf of foreigners.
00:04:12.640 So the most logical outcome would be for Maria Salazar to book a one-way ticket to Cuba and leave the rest of us alone.
00:04:19.220 Now, when I made this argument, the Soros lapdogs at Media Matters immediately leapt into action.
00:04:24.120 Yes, they defended a Republican because their allegiance is to the open borders agenda, not to any particular political party.
00:04:30.760 And here's what they said, quote,
00:04:32.020 Daily Wire's Matt Walsh says, Representative Maria Elvira Salazar is not American and should go back to Cuba.
00:04:38.560 She was born in Miami.
00:04:40.200 Representative Salazar's website notes that she was born in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood, the daughter of Cuban exiles.
00:04:46.780 Therefore, Representative Salazar is an American, close quote.
00:04:51.220 It's always the most unassuming matter-of-fact statements from the left that end up being the most revealing.
00:04:56.300 Just this one paragraph of Media Matters is a remarkable window into how they see the world.
00:05:01.320 Salazar's website says she was born in Miami.
00:05:03.780 Therefore, she's an American.
00:05:04.700 Salazar is a legal citizen of the United States of America under the Constitution of the United States if you subscribe to the idea of birthright citizenship.
00:05:30.140 That's a legal classification, fairly well-defined at this point.
00:05:35.080 But I wasn't talking about citizenship precisely, so that's a moot point.
00:05:39.300 I didn't say that Salazar isn't a citizen legally.
00:05:42.340 I didn't say she's an illegal immigrant.
00:05:45.420 I said she's not an American.
00:05:46.760 But you can't do that.
00:06:16.760 The suggestion, you know, is that a guy from Guatemala who hopped off the boat last Tuesday, can't speak a lick of English, doesn't care about this country, doesn't know anything about it, isn't loyal to it, but is handed citizenship anyway, is somehow still as American as apple pie.
00:06:34.300 And that's absurd.
00:06:37.240 I mean, it's just wrong.
00:06:39.160 And we all know it.
00:06:41.300 In 1782, the French diplomat, Jean de Crevecourt, published his letters from an American farmer, and there were 12 letters in all.
00:06:50.580 He wrote them as he sought to understand the meaning of the new American identity after he married an American woman and settled down on a farm in New York.
00:06:58.680 In fact, he explicitly asked the question, what then is the American, this new man?
00:07:03.800 In the letters, he described Americans as, quote, descendants of Europeans who could prosper if they were honest, sober, and industrious.
00:07:11.540 He wrote that Americans were a people characterized by their rejection of European hierarchies and a strong belief in individual advancement.
00:07:18.880 And what he didn't write, because it would have been absurd, is that an American was merely nothing more than someone who managed to get a piece of paper announcing that he's a citizen of the United States.
00:07:28.360 Even less did he say that an American is anyone who happens to be living within the borders of the United States.
00:07:34.080 Which is the definition that Salazar and her anti-American compatriots in Congress and all across the left seem to be going with.
00:07:41.400 More than a century later, after he served as president, Teddy Roosevelt declared that so-called hyphenated Americans, meaning Americans with dual loyalties, were not actual Americans at all.
00:07:52.680 Here's the New York Times article documenting Roosevelt's remarks at the time.
00:07:56.840 Headline, quote, Roosevelt bars the hyphenated.
00:07:59.820 No room in this country for dual nationality, he tells Knights of Columbus.
00:08:03.480 Treason to vote is such.
00:08:05.580 The article begins, quote, Colonel Theodore Roosevelt speaking at the Columbus Day celebration at Carnegie Hall last night.
00:08:11.400 Gave full vent to his feeling about hyphenated Americanism and preparedness for war.
00:08:16.020 The colonel told of his convictions, scored as traitors those who were not wholeheartedly for their country first, last, and all the time.
00:08:24.160 And offered his suggestions for the Americanization of those who come to the United States as immigrants.
00:08:29.900 The foreign population, Roosevelt said, must be an American population and Americanism was a matter of the spirit and the soul.
00:08:36.500 There is no place here for the hyphenated American, he said.
00:08:39.600 The sooner he returns to the country of his allegiance, the better.
00:08:43.580 And Roosevelt went on to state that it was important to secure, quote, three elemental things.
00:08:47.740 One, a common language.
00:08:48.960 Two, the increase in our social loyalty.
00:08:51.720 Citizenship absolutely undivided.
00:08:53.380 A citizenship which acknowledges no flag except the flag of the United States.
00:08:57.120 And which emphatically repudiates all duality of intention or national loyalty.
00:09:01.880 And third, an intelligent and resolute effort for the removal of industrial and social unrest.
00:09:06.900 An effort which shall aim equally at securing every man his rights and to make every man understand that unless he in good faith performs his duties, he is not entitled to any rights at all.
00:09:15.760 Now, it's worth revisiting all this language from the founding of this country and, again, from Teddy Roosevelt more than a century later, because it underscores a very fundamental and longstanding point.
00:09:25.780 The American identity is not simply about a piece of paper or what geographic place you were born in or where you happen to be standing at this present moment.
00:09:36.100 It's about your loyalty to this country, your ability to speak our language and to relate to us and our way of life.
00:09:45.860 It's about your compatibility with our culture and our history and our society and our founding principles.
00:09:53.120 If you lack compatibility and if you're disloyal, if you prioritize other nations above our own, then you're not an American at all.
00:10:02.180 That's why we had the House Un-American Activities Committee.
00:10:04.880 If you're not on our side, then you're a traitor.
00:10:07.780 And in the words of Roosevelt, you deserve no rights at all.
00:10:10.220 And you certainly don't deserve the courtesy of being called an American.
00:10:14.440 It shouldn't really be a controversial point as much as Media Matters would like to pretend otherwise.
00:10:18.140 Ironically, Salazar herself made this argument for me.
00:10:24.380 Watch this clip carefully. Listen.
00:10:25.880 President Trump, sir, the same God who saved you from death in Pennsylvania one year ago and who put you back in the Oval Office against all odds is the same God almighty who millions and millions are begging to for some type of dignity, not amnesty.
00:10:46.400 Sir, I believe that you could be for immigration what Lincoln was for slavery and Reagan was for communism.
00:10:53.820 You are a businessman who understands our economy needs a reliable working force in areas where other Americans don't participate.
00:11:01.540 Now, did you catch that?
00:11:03.820 She said what open borders advocates say all the time.
00:11:06.100 She said, quote, our economy is a reliable working force in areas where other Americans don't participate.
00:11:14.440 In other words, according to Maria Salazar, illegal aliens who don't even have the documentation, right, are Americans.
00:11:22.520 They are, they are, in fact, they're Americans and the rest of us are other Americans.
00:11:29.240 Now, they aren't citizens, as she admits, right?
00:11:33.700 These people are not citizens.
00:11:34.600 Talking about illegal aliens, they're not citizens.
00:11:37.320 But according to Maria Salazar, they still count as Americans.
00:11:41.620 And therefore, by Maria Salazar's own logic, the concept of being an American is indeed distinguishable from being a legal citizen.
00:11:49.560 Listen, they're not the same thing.
00:11:52.260 In fact, everybody on the left believes this.
00:11:56.060 That being, that you could be an American without the documentation.
00:12:00.640 Which means that the documentation does not confer on you the status of being an American.
00:12:06.180 That's what they believe.
00:12:09.140 So, what exactly does it mean to be an American?
00:12:15.400 Maria Salazar has never answered this question.
00:12:18.020 And you can see why.
00:12:19.560 I mean, by any reasonable definition, very few of the foreign nationals that Salazar is speaking up for would qualify as American.
00:12:27.900 I mean, think about it this way.
00:12:29.260 Imagine a scenario, very common scenario, where someone comes here from, let's say, an African country, joins an African conclave, where they speak an African language, and maintain their African culture while fighting for African interests.
00:12:45.640 In this scenario, even if they happen to be in Ohio while they're doing it, are they American?
00:12:53.360 Are they?
00:12:53.860 I mean, would you really say with a straight face that a hypothetical refugee named Omar Mohamed Abdullah, who can't speak a word of English, who steals hundreds of thousands of dollars a year by scamming federal programs with his father's fraudulent shell company, and who sends most of his money back to family members in Somalia, and who celebrates Somali Independence Day instead of July 4th, is really an American?
00:13:12.620 American, just like you and me?
00:13:16.340 No, it just doesn't work.
00:13:17.640 Intuitively, we know that that's a fraud.
00:13:19.660 And, of course, this isn't really a hypothetical.
00:13:22.800 You could just take a look at Minnesota, as we've done a few times this week.
00:13:25.980 Well over 100,000 Somalis live in Minnesota.
00:13:28.320 They have not enriched the state in any way.
00:13:31.500 They haven't brought newfound prosperity or major technological innovation or anything like that.
00:13:36.980 Instead, they've innovated in only one area, which is finding new ways to defraud the U.S. taxpayer.
00:13:41.060 In fact, it's not just the Somalis in Minnesota who are doing this.
00:13:43.160 It's a nationwide problem.
00:13:44.060 And the other day, I received an email from someone identifying himself as a police officer near Columbus, Ohio, and here's what he wrote.
00:13:49.940 Quote, Somalis have taken over most of the gangs in this area.
00:13:53.260 It's very hard to track them because they all have the same names and dates of birth.
00:13:57.620 Muhammad, Muhammad, birthday, January 1st, 1995, or whatever year.
00:14:01.800 I know of one case where a four-year-old girl was shot in a drive-by shooting into a house,
00:14:06.040 and their Somali parents said it was Allah's will and refused to cooperate with police.
00:14:10.560 It's absolutely insane.
00:14:11.920 Yes, they need to be deported.
00:14:13.100 It needs to end.
00:14:14.060 Meanwhile, in Maine, yes, in Maine, a legislator named Deka Dalak just gave a televised interview
00:14:23.680 in which she declared that this is a, quote-unquote, American lawmaker who declared that her goal
00:14:30.100 was to help, quote, our country of Somalia, before she quickly corrected herself.
00:14:34.600 Watch.
00:14:35.940 Policies, how can the politics in Somalia can be, you know, resonate what we have here in the United States,
00:14:42.080 the democracy that we have?
00:14:43.640 How can you help us, you know, be a better country and build back what we used to have back in a long time ago?
00:14:51.440 So, hopefully, we will be able to help our country, our former country, Somalia.
00:14:57.700 Now, as Aron McIntyre has pointed out, it feels almost intentionally degrading.
00:15:03.540 These foreign scam artists can barely even speak our language to the point that they accidentally admit
00:15:07.580 they're working on behalf of foreign interests.
00:15:09.420 It's all very overt.
00:15:12.300 By the way, is that an American?
00:15:14.320 Doesn't speak our language.
00:15:16.300 Dressed in the typical Muslim, you know, traditional Muslim attire.
00:15:21.700 Announcing that her country is Somalia.
00:15:25.480 Working on behalf of the interests of Somalis.
00:15:29.620 Do I have to accept that she's just as American as me?
00:15:32.200 Really?
00:15:33.100 I have to just accept that?
00:15:36.520 Is it racist to point out what we all recognize as true?
00:15:40.420 That there's like, there's a very clear distinction?
00:15:45.160 And by the way, this is typically how scam artists work.
00:15:47.600 They very often brag about their heists right out in the open because they're not very smart
00:15:51.100 and they can't believe they're getting away with it.
00:15:52.780 And more importantly, they know that no one's going to investigate them.
00:15:56.540 Here's another apparent scam that Somalis are running.
00:15:58.860 This is from a recent post from a Somali in Minnesota, reportedly.
00:16:03.780 Watch.
00:16:05.460 Another crazy statistics.
00:16:08.520 Just in Minnesota, not anywhere in the world.
00:16:11.320 I can just imagine a statistic in the world.
00:16:14.120 Just within the metro area of Minnesota,
00:16:18.420 there's about 30,000 single Somali mothers, single mothers,
00:16:24.060 which is a ridiculous number.
00:16:25.860 number, but at the same...
00:16:28.000 Oh, cute.
00:16:29.360 A lot of you men will think this is a true statistic,
00:16:32.380 but it's not a real statistic
00:16:34.440 because the single mothers that's registered in government,
00:16:39.740 they're not actually single mothers.
00:16:40.840 You know?
00:16:41.300 Several residents in Minnesota have replied to this video
00:16:59.020 to confirm that, indeed, this kind of thing is happening all the time.
00:17:02.180 Thousands of Somalis are claiming to be single mothers
00:17:04.520 so that they can fraudulently obtain government benefits.
00:17:06.980 And it's not just limited to Somalis.
00:17:08.680 Here's one representative post, for example, quote,
00:17:12.060 this is all foreigners.
00:17:13.180 I used to work at a hospital.
00:17:14.340 Arabic women would come in, claim to be single,
00:17:16.540 get free health care and anything else they could get
00:17:18.620 because they put single on the paperwork.
00:17:21.080 Then we would watch them walk out to their expensive cars
00:17:24.160 because their husband owned three corner stores and a gas station.
00:17:27.040 These same stores are stocked using food stamps.
00:17:29.960 They go into stores that are having deals like
00:17:32.380 one, two liter Pepsi for $1.50.
00:17:35.100 They bring 10 family members to buy as much products as possible
00:17:38.200 because stores have limits per person.
00:17:40.100 They pay with food stamps and then take the items to their stores and sell it.
00:17:44.980 Here's another reply.
00:17:45.960 This is one from Jason Robertson, the co-founder of the American Tribune.
00:17:49.620 Quote,
00:17:50.120 I'm from Minnesota.
00:17:50.900 It confirmed the system is set up so that single moms get more money
00:17:53.820 than married families, so they stay single.
00:17:55.620 In some cases, they even do a religious ceremony
00:17:58.660 without filing the paperwork to make themselves illegally married.
00:18:01.800 To be fair, this isn't only the Somali community, close quote.
00:18:06.100 Democrats understand that importing all these foreign scam artists
00:18:08.460 is destroying the United States, but they're fine with it
00:18:10.300 because all the foreign nationals living in this country,
00:18:12.760 even the illegal ones, count for redistricting,
00:18:16.340 meaning they give Democrats more seats in Congress.
00:18:19.300 And one New York lawmaker, a very dumb woman named Yvette Clark,
00:18:23.540 was careless enough to admit this publicly the other day.
00:18:27.140 Listen.
00:18:27.360 I'm from Brooklyn, New York.
00:18:29.920 We have a diaspora that can absorb a significant number of these migrants.
00:18:36.300 And, you know, when I hear colleagues talk about, you know,
00:18:40.680 the doors of the inn being closed, no room in the inn,
00:18:45.760 I'm saying, you know, I need more people in my district
00:18:49.060 just for redistricting purposes.
00:18:51.020 And those members could clearly fit here.
00:18:54.940 Well, talk about saying the quiet part out loud.
00:18:58.200 If there's any redeeming quality that these people have,
00:19:00.560 it's that they're so stupid they can't help themselves.
00:19:02.760 They're compelled to admit everything that they're planning.
00:19:06.740 When leftists like Yvette Clark and Maria Salazar
00:19:09.560 tell you that illegal aliens are really Americans,
00:19:12.300 this clip tells you why they're saying that.
00:19:14.860 They want to build a coalition of voters
00:19:16.280 that will benefit them politically.
00:19:18.120 They understand very well that none of them are really Americans,
00:19:21.260 just like I wouldn't be Japanese
00:19:22.620 if I somehow parachuted into Tokyo tomorrow,
00:19:25.400 filled out some documentation and gained legal status.
00:19:29.120 Okay, that would make me a legal resident of the country.
00:19:33.600 But it would be a grave error on behalf of Tokyo's government
00:19:36.280 to allow that, one which would never actually happen in real life.
00:19:39.660 But regardless, it wouldn't make me as Japanese,
00:19:42.640 as someone who's lived in the country their entire life,
00:19:45.040 who speaks the language, respects the culture,
00:19:47.340 has ancestral ties to the country and its history.
00:19:51.060 And we all know that.
00:19:52.620 We know that for every other country outside of the Western world, that is.
00:19:58.560 And for most of this country's history,
00:20:00.220 this wouldn't be a controversial point.
00:20:02.980 But suddenly we're expected to believe that only a bigot,
00:20:05.540 only a far-right white supremacist,
00:20:08.040 would dare to say that being an American actually means something.
00:20:12.580 Only the most racist person imaginable would believe
00:20:14.860 that Americans have a shared culture,
00:20:17.040 a shared language,
00:20:18.600 a shared loyalty.
00:20:19.620 That's the message they're trying to send.
00:20:25.160 They're trying to tell us that we're racist for wanting America,
00:20:28.000 wanting this country to have any identity at all.
00:20:32.200 That every other country on earth is allowed to have an identity,
00:20:34.620 allowed to have a shared culture,
00:20:35.740 a shared language,
00:20:36.380 a shared identity.
00:20:37.300 But we're not.
00:20:38.380 We're not allowed to have that.
00:20:39.560 It's a basic desire and need for all civilized people
00:20:43.740 who form countries.
00:20:45.760 This is why you do it.
00:20:47.740 And everyone else is allowed to have it.
00:20:49.460 We're not.
00:20:50.160 How dare you even suggest such a thing?
00:20:53.940 Well, at the risk of angering all these very low IQ
00:20:56.240 and emotionally incontinent subversives,
00:20:58.500 I'm not going to go along with it.
00:21:00.280 No one should.
00:21:00.780 What is a woman was once the big question of the day.
00:21:05.740 It's a question that always had an obvious answer,
00:21:07.980 even if the left pretended otherwise.
00:21:10.080 So perhaps we have a new question,
00:21:12.400 one that's also pretty simple,
00:21:14.500 even if the left claims to be totally vexed by it.
00:21:17.620 And that question is simply,
00:21:20.220 what is an American?
00:21:22.360 Really?
00:21:23.040 What is it?
00:21:24.920 What does it mean to be an American?
00:21:27.900 Ask your local representative that question.
00:21:30.680 Ask every politician that question.
00:21:32.980 Think about it yourself.
00:21:35.220 In the next few years,
00:21:36.520 that question,
00:21:37.280 as it was when Teddy Roosevelt delivered
00:21:39.040 that speech to the Knights of Columbus,
00:21:41.580 will prove to be very important.
00:21:43.840 It'll be the question that defines this country
00:21:45.800 and whether it survives.
00:21:47.780 We should all be able to answer it.
00:21:50.060 And to banish anyone who can answer it,
00:21:52.180 especially any politician,
00:21:54.040 as far away from this country as we possibly can.
00:21:57.480 Now let's get to our five headlines.
00:21:59.680 Have you ever wondered why elite athletes,
00:22:06.860 business moguls,
00:22:07.640 and high performers are using Armra colostrum?
00:22:09.900 It's because Armra colostrum packs
00:22:11.340 over 400 natural nutrients
00:22:13.120 that work at the cellular level
00:22:14.920 to build muscle, speed recovery,
00:22:16.540 and boost performance.
00:22:18.220 No artificial stuff,
00:22:19.380 just pure fuel for whatever you're tackling.
00:22:22.300 Think of it as your body's natural defense system upgrade.
00:22:25.060 It strengthens your immune system,
00:22:27.280 and it does that throughout your entire body
00:22:30.520 while supporting your gut wall system
00:22:32.520 for better digestion,
00:22:33.980 less bloating.
00:22:34.660 Plus,
00:22:34.980 it helps your body absorb nutrients
00:22:36.620 more effectively
00:22:37.680 and keeps your metabolism running smoothly.
00:22:40.320 You also notice the difference
00:22:41.340 in your skin's radiance
00:22:42.580 thanks to natural antioxidants
00:22:44.340 and collagen-boosting compounds.
00:22:46.320 Plus,
00:22:46.580 there's a reason elite athletes
00:22:47.580 have been using colostrum for years.
00:22:49.120 It enhances endurance
00:22:50.000 and speeds up recovery
00:22:50.960 so you can bounce back even faster.
00:22:53.180 Bottom line,
00:22:53.960 Armra colostrum gives your body
00:22:55.240 comprehensive support
00:22:56.280 to thrive naturally.

00:23:11.520 Fox News reports
00:23:12.440 Director of National Intelligence
00:23:13.640 Tulsi Gabbard
00:23:14.440 doubled down
00:23:15.080 at a White House press briefing Wednesday
00:23:16.640 alleging the Obama administration
00:23:18.060 promoted a contrived narrative
00:23:19.520 that Russia interfered
00:23:20.480 in the 2016 election.
00:23:21.740 There's irrefutable evidence
00:23:22.640 that details
00:23:23.100 how President Obama
00:23:23.880 and his national security team
00:23:24.760 directed the creation
00:23:26.060 of intelligence community assessment
00:23:27.180 that they knew was false.
00:23:28.460 Gabbard said they knew
00:23:29.240 it would promote
00:23:30.000 this contrived narrative
00:23:30.760 that Russia interfered
00:23:31.520 in the 2016 election
00:23:32.280 to help President Trump win,
00:23:35.060 selling it to the American people
00:23:36.520 as though it were true.
00:23:37.340 It wasn't.
00:23:40.240 Gabbard also said
00:23:40.960 the declassified documents
00:23:42.140 have been shared
00:23:42.600 with the Department of Justice
00:23:43.440 and the FBI
00:23:44.020 so those agencies
00:23:44.700 can evaluate
00:23:45.280 if any criminal implications
00:23:46.400 stemming from the materials
00:23:48.460 are warranted.
00:23:49.940 She said we've referred
00:23:50.900 and will continue
00:23:51.900 to refer all of these documents
00:23:53.220 to the DOJ and the FBI
00:23:54.560 to investigate
00:23:55.560 the criminal implications
00:23:56.600 of this for the evidence.
00:24:00.900 The evidence that we have found
00:24:02.480 and that we have released
00:24:03.740 directly point to President Obama
00:24:05.500 leading the manufacturing
00:24:06.880 of this intelligence assessment
00:24:08.300 there are multiple pieces
00:24:09.740 of evidence and intelligence
00:24:10.820 to confirm that fact.
00:24:11.640 So the Trump administration
00:24:12.280 is not backing away from this.
00:24:15.720 They're leaning into it.
00:24:16.820 They're doubling,
00:24:18.180 tripling down
00:24:18.800 and that's good.
00:24:23.440 And you know,
00:24:23.740 I was thinking about this
00:24:24.520 because the one bit
00:24:25.460 of skepticism
00:24:26.200 that I would have
00:24:27.180 and that I think
00:24:28.120 a lot of people would have
00:24:29.060 is just this
00:24:31.380 that would Barack Obama
00:24:33.320 really be dumb enough
00:24:35.500 to involve himself
00:24:36.600 in a conspiracy
00:24:37.540 this explicitly.
00:24:41.040 Enough to make himself
00:24:42.040 criminally liable.
00:24:45.440 Which isn't to say,
00:24:46.380 oh, Obama would
00:24:47.940 never do something like this.
00:24:50.220 Obama's too honest.
00:24:51.460 No, it's not that.
00:24:52.140 It's just wouldn't Obama,
00:24:53.420 who's a smart guy,
00:24:54.820 wouldn't he be smart enough
00:24:55.780 to give himself a buffer
00:24:56.880 to keep his hands clean?
00:24:58.000 Which, again,
00:25:00.280 isn't to say
00:25:00.700 he's actually innocent.
00:25:01.740 Just that you'd think
00:25:02.760 he's clever enough
00:25:03.340 to preserve some amount
00:25:04.620 of plausible deniability.
00:25:07.240 That's the way
00:25:07.880 these things normally work,
00:25:09.540 I would imagine.
00:25:11.740 And that reasoning
00:25:12.640 makes sense
00:25:13.360 if you don't remember
00:25:14.680 the level of sheer panic
00:25:16.100 that the establishment
00:25:17.220 was experiencing
00:25:18.080 back in 2016.
00:25:19.300 And they're still panicked
00:25:20.180 about Trump, of course,
00:25:21.380 but not like they were
00:25:22.940 when all this first started.
00:25:24.480 They saw him
00:25:25.300 as an existential threat
00:25:26.680 in a way that
00:25:28.780 nothing else
00:25:30.000 in their lives
00:25:30.660 ever had been.
00:25:31.560 And he was.
00:25:32.300 They were right.
00:25:34.540 So they felt justified.
00:25:35.960 They felt morally justified
00:25:37.100 in doing whatever
00:25:37.960 was necessary
00:25:38.600 to stop him.
00:25:41.140 And they also got sloppy.
00:25:43.500 They were emotional
00:25:44.820 and sloppy.
00:25:46.720 So,
00:25:47.520 all that together
00:25:48.660 makes some sense
00:25:49.820 of the fact
00:25:50.260 that Obama,
00:25:51.120 usually a smart,
00:25:52.160 scheming guy,
00:25:53.340 would be brazen enough
00:25:54.440 to involve himself
00:25:55.280 so directly
00:25:55.980 in this kind of conspiracy
00:25:57.140 to the point where
00:25:58.160 he makes himself
00:26:00.020 criminally liable.
00:26:02.500 So I think that's
00:26:03.320 what happened there.
00:26:05.980 So then,
00:26:06.660 now you have to
00:26:07.420 follow through.
00:26:08.700 And I'm not going to
00:26:09.700 jump up on the
00:26:10.440 soapbox again.
00:26:12.220 I've made my point.
00:26:13.460 We started the week
00:26:14.480 talking about this.
00:26:17.060 We need to put
00:26:17.800 Barack Obama
00:26:18.400 in handcuffs.
00:26:19.040 That was the title
00:26:19.600 of the show on Monday.
00:26:21.700 So I made my point
00:26:22.760 on that.
00:26:24.060 But the more
00:26:25.840 the Trump administration
00:26:26.620 doubles down,
00:26:27.720 the farther
00:26:28.380 that they take
00:26:29.340 this rhetorically,
00:26:30.200 the more they
00:26:30.820 box themselves
00:26:31.920 into a corner
00:26:32.720 where the only
00:26:34.920 acceptable outcome
00:26:35.840 is to actually
00:26:36.620 arrest and prosecute
00:26:37.580 some extremely
00:26:38.340 powerful people.
00:26:40.920 And they're
00:26:41.700 in that corner
00:26:42.140 right now.
00:26:44.860 They're officially
00:26:45.780 in that corner.
00:26:47.960 When you lean
00:26:48.720 into it this heavily,
00:26:49.840 you're doing
00:26:50.200 press conferences,
00:26:50.980 you've got
00:26:52.940 Tulsi Gabbard,
00:26:53.600 you've got
00:26:53.800 the president
00:26:54.220 himself coming
00:26:54.960 out and making
00:26:56.500 these accusations.
00:26:58.100 Accusations that
00:26:58.760 I believe,
00:26:59.280 once again,
00:27:01.000 but when you
00:27:01.960 do all of this,
00:27:03.360 now you have
00:27:04.440 to follow through.
00:27:05.340 You have to.
00:27:06.540 Anything less
00:27:07.540 than very high
00:27:08.800 profile arrests
00:27:10.020 and prosecution
00:27:10.740 will be a
00:27:11.680 humiliation
00:27:12.260 and a failure.
00:27:14.560 Anything less
00:27:15.480 will be,
00:27:16.360 will,
00:27:17.120 runs the risk
00:27:19.540 of destroying
00:27:20.120 his presidency.
00:27:24.540 Because you
00:27:25.180 just,
00:27:25.400 you can't do
00:27:26.040 this.
00:27:26.280 You can't
00:27:27.220 make these
00:27:28.120 kinds of
00:27:28.600 claims,
00:27:29.120 make them
00:27:29.480 so explicitly
00:27:30.780 and relentlessly
00:27:33.660 and then do
00:27:35.220 nothing.
00:27:38.340 Because as I
00:27:39.140 said on Monday,
00:27:39.620 all that will
00:27:40.040 mean is that
00:27:41.080 you make all
00:27:41.860 these claims
00:27:42.200 and then you
00:27:42.460 do nothing,
00:27:43.040 that either
00:27:43.540 means that
00:27:45.400 you were lying
00:27:46.080 about the
00:27:46.520 claims and
00:27:47.840 you were
00:27:48.280 fraudulently
00:27:48.840 accusing,
00:27:49.580 fraudulently
00:27:50.080 accusing Obama
00:27:50.980 of a criminal
00:27:52.200 conspiracy.
00:27:53.500 Or it means
00:27:54.260 that you were
00:27:55.220 telling the truth
00:27:55.900 but now you're
00:27:57.160 complicit after
00:27:57.780 the fact because
00:27:58.560 you refuse to
00:27:59.120 do anything
00:27:59.400 about it.
00:28:02.600 And I don't
00:28:03.200 think they're
00:28:03.480 lying,
00:28:04.020 so that would
00:28:04.780 leave the
00:28:05.240 latter option,
00:28:06.220 which is if
00:28:06.780 you don't do
00:28:07.100 something about
00:28:07.600 it, then
00:28:08.000 you're complicit
00:28:08.520 after the fact.
00:28:11.020 So,
00:28:11.640 that's it.
00:28:13.960 You know,
00:28:14.240 every time
00:28:14.720 there's another
00:28:15.520 press conference
00:28:16.080 about this,
00:28:17.220 that's going to
00:28:17.620 be my only
00:28:18.100 response.
00:28:20.720 And it looks
00:28:21.220 like Tulsi
00:28:21.600 Gabbard's
00:28:21.980 doing everything,
00:28:22.700 she's doing
00:28:23.000 everything she
00:28:23.420 can, she's
00:28:23.800 doing everything
00:28:24.180 the right way.
00:28:26.160 She's laying
00:28:26.760 out what she
00:28:27.160 discovered, she
00:28:27.760 referred it to
00:28:28.300 the DOJ,
00:28:29.300 right?
00:28:29.760 She can't go
00:28:30.180 make arrests
00:28:30.640 herself, she
00:28:31.080 can't go put
00:28:31.480 handcuffs on
00:28:31.900 Barack Obama
00:28:32.300 herself, so
00:28:32.740 she's doing
00:28:33.240 what she can.
00:28:37.520 But still,
00:28:39.560 this is going
00:28:40.600 to be my
00:28:40.940 only response
00:28:41.700 to this is
00:28:42.100 like, okay,
00:28:42.640 okay, let's
00:28:45.600 see it.
00:28:47.340 Everything is
00:28:48.060 lining up
00:28:48.560 right, the
00:28:49.380 right way
00:28:49.740 right now,
00:28:50.280 you're doing
00:28:50.580 everything the
00:28:50.980 right way
00:28:51.360 right now,
00:28:51.820 let's keep
00:28:52.200 that going.
00:28:55.360 I wanted to
00:28:56.000 mention this,
00:28:56.540 Fox 2 in
00:28:57.620 Detroit has
00:28:59.320 this report,
00:29:00.940 a new app
00:29:01.740 called T,
00:29:03.160 where women
00:29:03.660 can only post
00:29:04.440 photos of men
00:29:05.520 they're dating
00:29:06.100 to get input
00:29:06.720 from other
00:29:07.040 women is
00:29:07.480 causing
00:29:07.760 controversy.
00:29:08.420 The app
00:29:08.680 was born
00:29:09.580 out of some
00:29:10.040 women's rough
00:29:11.040 dating experiences,
00:29:12.060 and it's
00:29:13.780 called tea
00:29:14.240 as in
00:29:14.600 spill the
00:29:15.000 tea or
00:29:15.300 gossip.
00:29:16.020 It's getting
00:29:16.320 popularity on
00:29:17.040 TikTok,
00:29:17.420 especially among
00:29:17.840 Gen Z.
00:29:18.740 There's a
00:29:19.240 waiting list
00:29:19.680 to join
00:29:20.080 due to its
00:29:20.540 popularity.
00:29:22.760 One user,
00:29:23.540 Emily, is
00:29:23.900 anonymous on
00:29:24.420 the app and
00:29:24.800 admits she's
00:29:25.220 embarrassed saying
00:29:25.820 she's a
00:29:26.120 frequent user.
00:29:27.260 Users can
00:29:27.640 post photos
00:29:28.200 of who
00:29:28.860 they're dating
00:29:29.320 to gauge
00:29:29.800 other women's
00:29:30.300 experiences with
00:29:31.200 them,
00:29:31.740 identifying so-called
00:29:32.560 red and
00:29:33.080 green flags.
00:29:34.560 The reviews
00:29:35.260 are rarely
00:29:36.080 positive.
00:29:38.140 She said,
00:29:38.880 quote,
00:29:39.020 if you get
00:29:39.300 past the
00:29:39.720 waiting list,
00:29:40.180 you have to
00:29:40.480 submit a pic
00:29:41.040 of your face
00:29:41.600 with an ID
00:29:42.040 to prove
00:29:42.460 you're a
00:29:42.760 girl because
00:29:43.340 no guys
00:29:43.920 are allowed
00:29:44.240 on the
00:29:44.460 app.
00:29:44.840 The guys
00:29:45.360 that are
00:29:45.600 green flags,
00:29:46.260 I was trying
00:29:46.660 to look
00:29:46.940 them up on
00:29:47.360 social media
00:29:47.980 and like,
00:29:49.180 oh, this
00:29:49.560 is a good
00:29:49.940 guy, so
00:29:50.920 both ends
00:29:51.360 of the
00:29:51.560 spectrum are
00:29:52.020 dictating my
00:29:52.640 dating life
00:29:53.120 right now.
00:29:55.260 Emily says
00:29:55.860 the tea
00:29:56.100 app seems
00:29:56.420 to be
00:29:56.540 particularly
00:29:56.780 popular in
00:29:57.360 Middle
00:29:57.520 Eastern
00:29:57.720 communities,
00:29:58.220 especially in
00:29:58.600 Dearborn.
00:30:00.420 All these
00:30:00.960 guys are
00:30:01.300 talking, too.
00:30:02.040 They're getting
00:30:02.360 nervous.
00:30:02.840 They're making
00:30:03.120 TikToks about
00:30:03.820 it, she
00:30:04.040 said.
00:30:06.260 Okay, so
00:30:08.120 there's a lot
00:30:08.800 of discussion
00:30:09.120 about this on
00:30:09.520 social media,
00:30:09.920 especially on
00:30:10.240 TikTok, as
00:30:10.820 the article
00:30:11.320 mentions.
00:30:13.000 That's the
00:30:13.500 app.
00:30:13.820 It's got a
00:30:14.440 lot of
00:30:14.780 attention, a
00:30:15.340 lot of
00:30:15.540 videos on
00:30:16.560 TikTok, many
00:30:17.060 of them from
00:30:17.660 men complaining
00:30:18.480 about the
00:30:18.780 fact that
00:30:19.120 they've ended
00:30:19.800 up on the
00:30:20.260 app.
00:30:21.280 Often they're
00:30:21.820 being lied
00:30:22.520 about, they
00:30:23.020 say, and
00:30:23.660 defamed.
00:30:24.660 And I'm not
00:30:25.220 going to play
00:30:25.480 any of those
00:30:25.740 videos here, but
00:30:26.440 I watched a
00:30:27.000 few of them.
00:30:28.380 You can go to
00:30:28.960 TikTok and
00:30:29.400 find the men
00:30:30.140 who have
00:30:30.320 had experiences
00:30:31.040 being, who
00:30:32.620 have found
00:30:33.160 themselves on
00:30:33.880 this app.
00:30:35.580 And the only
00:30:36.100 way they can
00:30:36.560 know that
00:30:36.860 they're on it,
00:30:37.280 I guess, is for
00:30:37.840 a woman to
00:30:38.400 tell them, because
00:30:38.920 they can't
00:30:41.340 access it, they
00:30:42.520 can't defend
00:30:43.000 themselves, they're
00:30:43.520 not allowed on
00:30:44.120 it to defend
00:30:44.620 themselves or
00:30:45.120 kind of give
00:30:45.440 their side of
00:30:45.860 the story or
00:30:46.220 anything like
00:30:46.620 that.
00:30:49.620 So that's
00:30:50.720 what the
00:30:50.900 app is.
00:30:51.240 The app is
00:30:51.500 basically just
00:30:51.980 women gossiping
00:30:52.880 about men and
00:30:53.680 usually tearing
00:30:54.400 them apart and
00:30:55.180 mocking them,
00:30:55.860 insulting their
00:30:56.360 appearance.
00:30:58.120 I looked at
00:30:58.640 some of these
00:30:58.900 TikTok videos,
00:30:59.640 that's what a
00:31:00.000 lot of the
00:31:00.280 comments, just
00:31:00.920 women, a
00:31:02.840 woman's dating a
00:31:03.600 guy, posts his
00:31:04.640 picture, says,
00:31:05.360 hey, anyone
00:31:05.760 know anything
00:31:07.000 about this guy?
00:31:07.680 And then you
00:31:09.020 get a whole
00:31:09.260 bunch of
00:31:09.480 comments from
00:31:10.060 women making
00:31:11.080 fun of him,
00:31:11.620 saying he
00:31:11.900 looks like a
00:31:12.280 creep, calling
00:31:13.260 him ugly.
00:31:14.320 It's really
00:31:15.100 ugly stuff
00:31:17.800 itself.
00:31:19.460 And that's
00:31:21.060 the whole
00:31:21.260 thing.
00:31:23.160 And this
00:31:23.720 app exists
00:31:24.380 supposedly to
00:31:25.220 fill a need,
00:31:25.820 and the need
00:31:26.400 is that women
00:31:27.220 have to warn
00:31:28.080 each other about
00:31:29.340 the quote-unquote
00:31:30.000 bad men who
00:31:31.200 are out there.
00:31:32.520 So let me say
00:31:33.560 a few things
00:31:33.980 about this.
00:31:34.380 And first of
00:31:34.780 all, this
00:31:37.100 whole thing
00:31:37.480 is terrible,
00:31:38.760 obviously.
00:31:40.060 It shouldn't
00:31:41.420 be legal.
00:31:44.480 Providing a
00:31:45.220 forum specifically
00:31:46.500 for people to
00:31:47.240 just post whatever
00:31:48.100 defamatory claims
00:31:49.200 they want about
00:31:49.820 other private
00:31:50.440 individuals who
00:31:51.820 themselves have no
00:31:52.580 opportunity to
00:31:53.200 speak up for
00:31:53.600 themselves, complete
00:31:54.980 with their names
00:31:55.580 and their pictures
00:31:56.140 and identifying
00:31:56.800 information, that
00:31:58.180 should not be
00:31:58.660 legal.
00:31:59.580 Now, sure, on
00:32:00.120 any social media
00:32:00.840 site, people can
00:32:01.500 post defamatory
00:32:02.240 stuff.
00:32:02.560 It happens all the
00:32:03.000 time, but the
00:32:04.300 difference here is
00:32:04.780 that this is an
00:32:05.240 app specifically
00:32:05.940 designed for
00:32:07.080 that.
00:32:08.220 It's designed to
00:32:09.500 talk about other
00:32:11.400 private individuals
00:32:12.540 who, again, are
00:32:14.640 barred from being
00:32:16.580 able to say
00:32:17.380 anything in their
00:32:17.900 defense.
00:32:20.000 So this should
00:32:20.840 not be legal.
00:32:21.580 I don't know.
00:32:21.900 I don't think it
00:32:22.760 is even by the
00:32:23.720 current laws.
00:32:24.720 And hopefully the
00:32:25.580 men targeted by
00:32:26.260 the app file
00:32:26.840 lawsuits and sue
00:32:28.120 everybody involved
00:32:29.000 into bankruptcy.
00:32:30.860 Sue the makers
00:32:31.620 of the app and
00:32:32.520 all these women
00:32:33.000 participating.
00:32:33.680 Just sue them
00:32:34.380 all so that
00:32:34.920 they're all
00:32:35.180 bankrupt for
00:32:35.680 life.
00:32:36.060 That's what
00:32:36.600 should happen.
00:32:38.640 Because if
00:32:39.200 you're a woman,
00:32:39.940 I mean, it
00:32:43.100 shouldn't need to
00:32:43.480 be said, but
00:32:45.580 apparently it does
00:32:46.340 for these women
00:32:46.800 who are using it.
00:32:47.720 You shouldn't be
00:32:48.540 doing this.
00:32:49.080 This is bad.
00:32:52.160 If you're on
00:32:52.640 some app and
00:32:53.220 you're just
00:32:53.540 tearing apart
00:32:54.340 men for your
00:32:57.740 own pleasure,
00:32:59.500 then you're a
00:33:00.460 bad person.
00:33:00.900 like you're a
00:33:01.780 bad, awful
00:33:02.200 person.
00:33:04.320 Gossiping is
00:33:04.960 wrong.
00:33:05.820 It is vile.
00:33:07.060 It's disgusting.
00:33:09.220 And women are
00:33:10.060 the ones who do
00:33:10.760 most of the
00:33:11.380 gossiping.
00:33:12.160 There's a reason
00:33:12.960 this kind of app
00:33:13.900 exists for women
00:33:14.740 and not for men.
00:33:16.160 A male gossip
00:33:17.640 app like this
00:33:19.960 couldn't exist.
00:33:22.280 It'd be condemned
00:33:23.240 by everybody,
00:33:23.960 first of all.
00:33:24.660 You wouldn't be
00:33:25.480 able to,
00:33:26.460 it literally
00:33:27.940 couldn't exist.
00:33:28.560 They wouldn't
00:33:29.080 allow it in the
00:33:29.640 app store.
00:33:30.900 If there was
00:33:31.880 some,
00:33:32.820 if someone
00:33:33.960 comes along
00:33:34.560 with the
00:33:35.160 T for men,
00:33:37.660 you won't even
00:33:38.400 be able to put
00:33:38.840 it in the
00:33:39.060 app store.
00:33:39.500 They won't
00:33:39.740 allow it.
00:33:42.320 It'd be
00:33:42.920 condemned
00:33:43.360 even by the
00:33:45.080 women who
00:33:45.480 use this
00:33:46.080 app,
00:33:46.700 especially by
00:33:47.520 them,
00:33:47.940 actually.
00:33:50.040 But also,
00:33:50.880 men aren't
00:33:51.240 interested in
00:33:51.940 gossiping enough
00:33:52.940 to keep an
00:33:53.460 app like that
00:33:54.020 going.
00:33:54.920 This can only
00:33:55.900 happen with
00:33:56.360 women.
00:33:56.780 Now,
00:33:56.940 men can gossip
00:33:57.880 also,
00:33:58.260 but this
00:33:58.740 is a sin
00:33:59.360 that women
00:33:59.840 are more
00:34:00.440 inclined towards.
00:34:01.680 It's kind
00:34:02.300 of like
00:34:02.540 porn,
00:34:03.080 actually.
00:34:04.840 Porn is a
00:34:05.720 sin that men
00:34:06.480 and women
00:34:07.120 can commit.
00:34:08.280 Some women
00:34:08.660 do watch
00:34:09.080 porn,
00:34:09.340 but it's
00:34:09.560 definitely
00:34:09.740 something that
00:34:10.100 appeals to
00:34:10.740 men much
00:34:11.200 more.
00:34:12.140 It's a
00:34:12.520 weakness that
00:34:13.180 men are
00:34:13.660 more likely
00:34:14.140 to have.
00:34:15.580 Men are
00:34:16.000 much more
00:34:16.440 visual,
00:34:16.980 all these
00:34:17.220 things.
00:34:17.440 So,
00:34:17.960 that's why
00:34:19.600 men will tend
00:34:20.800 to struggle
00:34:21.220 with that
00:34:21.860 more than
00:34:22.500 women will.
00:34:24.140 And gossip
00:34:24.660 is the same
00:34:25.560 thing the other
00:34:26.140 way.
00:34:26.320 Gossip is
00:34:26.800 basically
00:34:27.160 female porn.
00:34:28.520 It scratches
00:34:29.100 the same
00:34:29.580 kind of
00:34:29.920 itch.
00:34:32.720 Which is
00:34:33.280 why sometimes,
00:34:34.100 and look,
00:34:34.680 you know how
00:34:35.820 I feel about
00:34:36.280 the porn
00:34:36.660 industry,
00:34:37.140 about pornography
00:34:37.660 in general.
00:34:39.100 I think that
00:34:40.240 it should be
00:34:40.780 banned outright.
00:34:43.460 All
00:34:43.900 pornographers
00:34:44.480 should be
00:34:45.200 imprisoned for
00:34:46.060 life.
00:34:46.440 That's what
00:34:46.840 I think.
00:34:49.040 So,
00:34:49.680 anyone who
00:34:50.360 condemns
00:34:50.700 pornography,
00:34:51.420 I agree.
00:34:53.580 But,
00:34:54.360 and this is a
00:34:54.780 point that you
00:34:55.380 hear men make,
00:34:56.320 a lot,
00:34:56.840 which is
00:34:57.080 true,
00:34:58.240 that sometimes
00:35:02.100 you'll have
00:35:02.400 women who
00:35:02.800 condemn porn,
00:35:04.200 and it's sort
00:35:04.580 of easy for
00:35:05.160 them to do,
00:35:05.820 but they're not
00:35:06.200 looking at the
00:35:06.940 things.
00:35:07.820 It's like,
00:35:08.020 for most women
00:35:09.180 it's easy to,
00:35:09.940 you're not going
00:35:10.280 to fall,
00:35:10.700 for most women
00:35:11.280 they're not going
00:35:11.540 to fall into
00:35:12.060 porn and porn
00:35:12.820 addiction,
00:35:13.600 and it's easy
00:35:14.520 for a woman
00:35:15.460 to not fall
00:35:16.220 into that,
00:35:17.020 because you're
00:35:17.360 just wired
00:35:17.880 differently.
00:35:20.120 But there
00:35:20.720 are things
00:35:21.280 that are the
00:35:22.200 female version
00:35:23.060 of that.
00:35:23.760 that we
00:35:29.820 don't talk
00:35:30.200 about as
00:35:30.500 much.
00:35:32.380 And I
00:35:32.940 would say
00:35:33.240 that something
00:35:33.560 like this,
00:35:35.560 you know,
00:35:36.500 gossip,
00:35:37.440 it's this
00:35:39.400 very base
00:35:40.260 kind of
00:35:41.240 pleasure.
00:35:41.740 It's very
00:35:42.840 savage,
00:35:43.760 unseemly,
00:35:44.360 where you're
00:35:47.720 taking pleasure
00:35:48.400 and ripping
00:35:48.900 someone else
00:35:49.640 apart.
00:35:52.460 So,
00:35:53.100 you shouldn't
00:35:53.920 be doing it.
00:35:55.060 And also,
00:35:55.820 if you feel
00:35:56.380 like you need
00:35:57.040 to be on an
00:35:57.560 app like this,
00:35:58.420 then you are
00:35:59.720 the problem.
00:36:00.680 I mean,
00:36:00.920 if you find
00:36:01.460 yourself constantly
00:36:02.360 ending up with
00:36:03.060 guys who are
00:36:03.840 quote-unquote
00:36:04.520 red flags,
00:36:05.640 so much that
00:36:06.780 you need an
00:36:07.220 app to weed
00:36:07.940 them out,
00:36:08.980 then you're
00:36:10.020 the problem.
00:36:11.780 Because that
00:36:12.360 tells me,
00:36:12.900 so when you
00:36:14.260 hear from
00:36:14.460 these women
00:36:14.820 who say,
00:36:15.700 every guy
00:36:16.360 I end up
00:36:16.760 with is a
00:36:18.560 weird creep.
00:36:20.400 Every guy
00:36:21.060 I end up
00:36:21.440 with is why
00:36:22.240 I need the
00:36:22.700 T app,
00:36:23.260 so I can
00:36:23.560 finally steer
00:36:25.480 clear of those
00:36:26.080 kinds of
00:36:26.400 guys.
00:36:26.680 Well,
00:36:27.660 if that's
00:36:29.240 the case,
00:36:30.180 that every guy
00:36:31.180 you end up
00:36:31.640 with is a
00:36:32.260 weirdo creep,
00:36:32.940 and that's
00:36:33.200 why you need
00:36:33.540 an app like
00:36:34.020 this,
00:36:34.920 that tells
00:36:36.120 me that
00:36:36.680 either you
00:36:39.100 are yourself
00:36:39.940 a weirdo
00:36:40.800 creep,
00:36:41.240 and that's
00:36:41.640 why you
00:36:41.900 attract those
00:36:42.580 kinds of
00:36:42.940 people,
00:36:43.940 or the
00:36:46.560 second option
00:36:47.140 is that you
00:36:49.000 constantly
00:36:49.540 describe normal
00:36:51.080 nice guys as
00:36:52.380 weirdo creeps
00:36:53.180 because that's
00:36:53.900 how you
00:36:54.340 inevitably see
00:36:55.340 everyone the
00:36:56.580 moment they
00:36:56.980 do something
00:36:57.540 that displeases
00:36:58.320 you.
00:37:00.260 It's one of
00:37:01.080 those two
00:37:01.320 options.
00:37:02.640 If you're a
00:37:03.480 woman constantly
00:37:04.040 NNA up with
00:37:04.820 weirdo creeps
00:37:05.780 and these
00:37:06.540 kinds of
00:37:06.840 guys,
00:37:07.260 red flags,
00:37:08.500 then that's
00:37:09.160 it.
00:37:09.320 you're the
00:37:11.160 problem either
00:37:11.980 you are a
00:37:14.260 red flag
00:37:14.640 yourself,
00:37:14.980 so you
00:37:15.260 attract those
00:37:15.780 kinds of
00:37:16.100 people,
00:37:16.420 or again,
00:37:17.780 you have a
00:37:18.980 tendency of
00:37:19.460 labeling people
00:37:20.280 like that
00:37:20.820 just because
00:37:21.540 they do
00:37:21.820 something you
00:37:22.200 don't like,
00:37:22.680 or they have
00:37:23.440 an opinion
00:37:23.740 you don't
00:37:24.100 like,
00:37:24.460 or whatever.
00:37:24.860 I would
00:37:31.140 look at
00:37:31.720 yourself on
00:37:32.620 that.
00:37:34.940 I've been
00:37:35.500 meaning to
00:37:35.760 play this
00:37:36.080 clip as
00:37:36.380 well.
00:37:36.600 This is
00:37:36.960 CBS News
00:37:37.600 correspondent
00:37:38.360 Scott McFarlane
00:37:39.540 recently,
00:37:40.280 this was
00:37:40.500 maybe a
00:37:40.860 week ago
00:37:41.380 or so,
00:37:42.480 talking about
00:37:43.420 the Trump
00:37:43.820 assassination
00:37:44.420 attempt in
00:37:45.420 Butler last
00:37:46.640 year and
00:37:48.060 how devastating
00:37:48.780 it was.
00:37:49.440 He wasn't
00:37:50.120 talking about
00:37:50.380 how devastating
00:37:50.800 it was for
00:37:51.700 the country,
00:37:52.520 much less
00:37:53.060 for Donald
00:37:53.440 Trump,
00:37:53.740 but how
00:37:54.840 devastating it
00:37:55.320 was for
00:37:55.760 him personally.
00:37:57.680 Not because
00:37:58.480 he's a big
00:37:58.900 Trump fan and
00:37:59.640 he was afraid
00:38:00.040 that Trump
00:38:00.340 was going to
00:38:00.600 get hurt,
00:38:01.120 but for
00:38:02.200 other reasons,
00:38:03.420 which you'll
00:38:03.960 hear him
00:38:04.480 explain here.
00:38:05.520 Listen.
00:38:06.280 For those
00:38:06.540 of us there,
00:38:07.640 it was such
00:38:08.680 a horror
00:38:09.300 because you
00:38:10.640 saw an
00:38:12.880 emerging America
00:38:13.720 and it wasn't
00:38:15.120 the shooting,
00:38:15.940 Chuck.
00:38:16.320 I got diagnosed
00:38:17.640 with PTSD
00:38:18.380 within 48
00:38:19.500 hours.
00:38:20.340 I got put
00:38:20.720 on trauma
00:38:21.180 leave,
00:38:21.840 not because
00:38:22.580 I think of
00:38:22.940 the shooting,
00:38:23.360 but because
00:38:24.200 you saw
00:38:25.400 it in the
00:38:25.660 eyes,
00:38:26.400 the reaction
00:38:26.860 of the
00:38:27.080 people.
00:38:27.660 They were
00:38:27.980 coming for
00:38:28.540 us.
00:38:29.160 If he didn't
00:38:29.600 jump up with
00:38:30.080 his fist,
00:38:30.640 they were
00:38:30.900 going to
00:38:31.240 come kill
00:38:31.860 us.
00:38:32.060 I know.
00:38:33.080 Just trying
00:38:33.660 to wrap
00:38:33.940 your mind
00:38:34.320 around the
00:38:34.700 level of
00:38:35.140 ego that's
00:38:35.860 involved
00:38:36.180 here.
00:38:37.460 The president
00:38:38.260 got shot,
00:38:39.760 somebody in
00:38:40.140 the audience
00:38:40.440 was killed,
00:38:42.800 and somehow
00:38:44.840 Scott makes
00:38:45.840 this all about
00:38:46.520 himself.
00:38:47.200 Scott finds
00:38:47.800 a way that
00:38:48.400 this is about
00:38:48.860 him.
00:38:49.220 A bullet
00:38:49.660 whizzed by
00:38:50.180 Donald Trump's
00:38:50.740 head two
00:38:51.080 inches from
00:38:51.480 his brain
00:38:51.920 and Scott
00:38:53.840 sees it as
00:38:54.580 a near-death
00:38:54.980 experience for
00:38:55.960 himself,
00:38:56.640 not for
00:38:57.080 Trump.
00:38:58.280 And not
00:38:58.520 even because
00:38:59.020 Scott thinks
00:38:59.920 he could have
00:39:01.360 been hit by
00:39:01.740 a stray bullet
00:39:02.240 or something,
00:39:03.520 but because he
00:39:04.060 imagines that if
00:39:04.820 Trump had been
00:39:05.400 killed, the
00:39:06.040 audience would
00:39:06.500 have descended
00:39:07.060 on the media
00:39:07.720 and killed
00:39:08.400 them with
00:39:09.300 their bare
00:39:09.720 hands in an
00:39:11.460 act of
00:39:11.820 vengeance.
00:39:13.960 So this is
00:39:14.820 extreme
00:39:15.300 narcissism along
00:39:16.420 with paranoid
00:39:16.980 schizophrenia.
00:39:17.820 That's basically
00:39:18.420 what this is.
00:39:19.080 And then he
00:39:20.640 tells us that
00:39:21.040 he had PTSD
00:39:21.940 and had to
00:39:24.000 be put on
00:39:24.420 trauma leave.
00:39:26.060 He says he
00:39:26.720 was diagnosed
00:39:27.180 with PTSD
00:39:27.680 within 48
00:39:28.400 hours.
00:39:28.760 Now, mind
00:39:29.080 you, according
00:39:29.480 to the DSM,
00:39:30.520 you can't be
00:39:31.840 diagnosed with
00:39:32.540 PTSD until at
00:39:33.440 least a month
00:39:34.060 after a
00:39:34.700 supposedly traumatic
00:39:35.500 event.
00:39:36.900 And there's a
00:39:37.600 reason for that
00:39:38.360 because if
00:39:39.120 something terrible
00:39:40.460 happens and
00:39:41.120 you're still
00:39:41.440 upset about it
00:39:41.960 two days later,
00:39:42.720 that's not
00:39:43.920 unusual.
00:39:44.740 That's normal.
00:39:46.680 That's why it's
00:39:47.300 supposed to be at
00:39:47.740 least a month.
00:39:48.360 And the idea
00:39:49.100 is, well, if
00:39:49.680 you're still
00:39:50.240 overcome with
00:39:51.320 grief, if
00:39:52.960 you're still
00:39:53.540 not able to
00:39:55.020 function a
00:39:55.680 month later,
00:39:56.340 well, now
00:39:56.860 it's trauma.
00:39:57.820 That's the
00:39:58.380 diagnostic criteria,
00:39:59.940 but somehow
00:40:03.240 Scott allegedly
00:40:04.500 gets the
00:40:04.920 diagnosis anyway.
00:40:05.700 And I don't
00:40:06.260 doubt that he
00:40:06.700 got a diagnosis
00:40:07.320 actually.
00:40:08.420 I don't think
00:40:09.060 he's lying about
00:40:09.580 that part.
00:40:11.280 Psychiatry is
00:40:11.860 mostly fake and
00:40:12.720 made up and
00:40:13.460 everything is
00:40:14.400 arbitrary.
00:40:15.080 I mean,
00:40:15.280 everything really
00:40:16.200 in psychiatry is
00:40:17.500 the best thing
00:40:18.080 you can say
00:40:18.380 about it is
00:40:18.740 it's arbitrary.
00:40:20.060 Even that
00:40:20.480 diagnostic criteria,
00:40:21.220 well, it's got
00:40:21.560 to be at least
00:40:21.940 a month.
00:40:22.680 Really?
00:40:23.420 Why a month?
00:40:24.480 Why not two?
00:40:25.000 Why not six?
00:40:26.100 Why not two
00:40:26.740 days?
00:40:27.440 Who says a
00:40:28.040 month?
00:40:28.480 Where do you
00:40:28.640 come up with
00:40:28.920 a month?
00:40:30.440 So it's normal
00:40:31.240 to be really
00:40:31.740 upset up until
00:40:32.760 a month and
00:40:33.500 then magically
00:40:34.120 at that moment,
00:40:35.100 it's not
00:40:35.460 normal anymore.
00:40:36.020 You have a
00:40:36.320 disease or a
00:40:38.280 disorder or
00:40:38.880 whatever.
00:40:39.740 So I don't
00:40:40.920 doubt that he
00:40:41.880 got a diagnosis
00:40:43.040 because anyone
00:40:44.180 can be diagnosed
00:40:45.140 with anything
00:40:45.960 whenever they
00:40:46.760 want to be.
00:40:47.600 That's the
00:40:48.160 thing.
00:40:48.880 Anyone who
00:40:49.480 can go to a
00:40:49.800 psychiatrist,
00:40:50.280 get diagnosed
00:40:50.660 with any mental
00:40:51.220 illness they
00:40:51.640 want to have
00:40:52.240 and you'll
00:40:52.780 get it.
00:40:53.120 That's the
00:40:53.440 way it goes.
00:40:55.440 And this is
00:40:56.040 why I'm tired
00:40:56.440 of everybody
00:40:56.740 walking around
00:40:57.440 claiming to be
00:40:57.960 traumatized all
00:40:58.680 the time.
00:40:59.740 I mean,
00:40:59.920 trauma can be a
00:41:00.580 real thing.
00:41:01.120 People can
00:41:01.440 experience truly
00:41:02.500 traumatic events.
00:41:04.360 Unspeakably awful
00:41:05.140 things can happen
00:41:05.980 to people which
00:41:07.360 can leave a scar
00:41:08.560 mentally and
00:41:09.260 emotionally.
00:41:10.440 Nobody denies
00:41:11.240 that.
00:41:11.520 But the problem
00:41:11.900 is that now
00:41:12.300 everyone's running
00:41:13.020 around claiming
00:41:13.600 to be traumatized
00:41:14.420 by everything
00:41:15.000 all the time
00:41:15.500 and it's just
00:41:15.880 total nonsense.
00:41:16.940 And not only
00:41:17.720 is it nonsense
00:41:18.200 but as a man
00:41:19.000 it's shameful.
00:41:20.600 Unless something
00:41:21.420 truly horrific
00:41:22.180 has happened
00:41:22.700 to you personally
00:41:23.620 and the shooting
00:41:25.300 in Butler
00:41:25.660 was horrific.
00:41:27.360 It was horrific
00:41:27.740 for Trump.
00:41:28.460 It was horrific
00:41:28.880 for Corey's
00:41:30.040 family.
00:41:33.080 But,
00:41:33.920 and for
00:41:35.100 Corey himself
00:41:36.300 who was killed
00:41:37.120 tragically.
00:41:38.020 But it didn't
00:41:38.880 happen to Scott.
00:41:40.240 Like this was
00:41:40.580 not a horrific
00:41:41.080 thing that happened
00:41:41.760 to Scott.
00:41:42.440 He was not
00:41:42.840 the victim
00:41:43.360 of the event.
00:41:45.580 So unless
00:41:46.240 something actually
00:41:46.980 horrific has
00:41:47.640 happened to
00:41:48.360 you,
00:41:49.720 you should be
00:41:50.740 ashamed and
00:41:51.400 embarrassed to
00:41:52.220 whine about
00:41:52.780 your trauma.
00:41:55.820 Especially when
00:41:56.420 Donald Trump
00:41:56.800 himself has
00:41:57.440 never even
00:41:57.820 called the
00:41:58.220 event traumatic.
00:41:59.580 Donald Trump
00:42:00.160 was the guy
00:42:00.520 who got shot
00:42:00.960 in the air
00:42:01.340 and he has
00:42:01.820 never used
00:42:02.200 the word
00:42:02.420 trauma to
00:42:02.960 describe it.
00:42:03.860 But it was
00:42:04.280 traumatic for
00:42:05.500 Scott McFarlane
00:42:06.680 somehow.
00:42:08.500 Which is just
00:42:09.200 humiliating.
00:42:11.060 I mean you
00:42:11.580 should be
00:42:11.860 totally humiliated
00:42:12.640 as a man.
00:42:12.900 I mean in
00:42:13.140 fact even
00:42:13.800 as a man
00:42:14.540 even if
00:42:14.820 you have
00:42:15.100 something
00:42:15.320 traumatic
00:42:15.640 happen to
00:42:16.140 you,
00:42:16.960 I mean you
00:42:18.800 should get
00:42:19.100 some help
00:42:19.540 and all of
00:42:20.100 that.
00:42:21.560 But even
00:42:21.820 that you
00:42:22.040 don't want
00:42:22.380 to walk
00:42:22.720 around every
00:42:23.160 day telling
00:42:23.660 everyone that
00:42:24.140 you have
00:42:24.440 trauma.
00:42:25.540 Right?
00:42:25.940 That's not
00:42:26.480 the way to
00:42:27.060 deal with
00:42:27.320 that.
00:42:28.040 But in
00:42:29.880 particular if
00:42:30.340 you're someone
00:42:30.560 like Scott
00:42:30.980 McFarlane.
00:42:33.460 I mean if I
00:42:34.200 had to be put
00:42:34.660 on trauma
00:42:35.120 leave, I
00:42:36.820 would never
00:42:37.180 tell a single
00:42:37.800 soul.
00:42:38.160 I would live
00:42:38.420 the rest of
00:42:38.800 my life in
00:42:39.480 fear that
00:42:39.980 anyone would
00:42:40.460 ever find out
00:42:41.180 about my
00:42:41.840 trauma leave.
00:42:42.640 If anybody
00:42:43.760 brought it
00:42:44.120 up, I
00:42:44.360 would deny
00:42:44.800 it.
00:42:45.460 I would
00:42:45.740 lie to
00:42:46.020 their face
00:42:46.400 and say
00:42:46.700 it didn't
00:42:46.960 happen.
00:42:48.520 You would
00:42:49.100 never hear me
00:42:49.640 confirm that
00:42:50.320 I was on
00:42:50.780 trauma leave.
00:42:55.500 Particularly
00:42:55.980 for a
00:42:56.660 reason as
00:42:57.500 ridiculous as
00:42:59.220 this.
00:43:01.580 So, but
00:43:03.100 of course this
00:43:03.640 is the media
00:43:04.160 and they are
00:43:05.300 narcissistic,
00:43:06.640 which we see
00:43:07.200 here.
00:43:07.800 They're liars,
00:43:08.740 which we see
00:43:09.140 here.
00:43:09.460 they have no
00:43:12.760 shame, which
00:43:13.560 we also see
00:43:14.180 exhibited in
00:43:14.880 this story.
00:43:15.380 So it's all
00:43:15.820 happening there.
00:43:17.220 Let's get to
00:43:17.760 the comment
00:43:18.700 section.
00:43:19.000 If you're a
00:43:19.820 man, it's
00:43:20.480 required that
00:43:21.320 you grow a
00:43:21.980 bit.
00:43:22.420 Hey, we're
00:43:24.740 the sweet
00:43:25.160 baby gang.
00:43:28.520 I want to
00:43:29.080 give a big
00:43:29.400 thanks to
00:43:30.060 Bearskin for
00:43:31.160 sponsoring today's
00:43:32.780 show.
00:43:33.480 They sent me
00:43:34.120 this as their
00:43:34.660 heavy storm rain
00:43:36.300 jacket and hoodie
00:43:36.980 combo.
00:43:38.440 And after
00:43:38.820 testing out,
00:43:39.380 in fact, not
00:43:39.640 just testing out,
00:43:40.200 I wear this
00:43:40.580 thing all the
00:43:41.300 time.
00:43:41.520 Only reason I'm
00:43:41.920 not wearing it
00:43:42.380 now, as I've
00:43:43.700 said before,
00:43:44.160 when we've done
00:43:44.480 this, that it's
00:43:45.420 like 95 degrees
00:43:46.500 inside this room
00:43:47.540 that I'm sitting
00:43:47.960 in.
00:43:49.300 And I don't
00:43:49.960 want to sweat
00:43:50.400 all over my
00:43:50.900 Bearskin jacket,
00:43:51.740 but this is,
00:43:52.980 I can tell you
00:43:53.340 my favorite
00:43:53.720 jacket.
00:43:54.020 I wear it all
00:43:54.320 the time.
00:43:55.460 It folds down
00:43:56.540 into its own
00:43:57.380 stash pocket as
00:43:58.800 well.
00:43:59.180 It takes up
00:43:59.860 almost no space
00:44:00.840 in your backpack
00:44:01.440 or pocket.
00:44:02.520 And it's a
00:44:02.980 total game
00:44:03.480 changer in heavy
00:44:04.320 or light rain
00:44:05.060 or really
00:44:05.440 any time.
00:44:06.480 The thing is
00:44:07.380 fully waterproof.
00:44:08.220 That's because
00:44:08.520 it's got fully
00:44:09.180 taped seams,
00:44:10.080 silicone-sealed
00:44:10.700 zips,
00:44:11.600 adjustable cuffs,
00:44:12.440 and the hood
00:44:12.760 is designed to
00:44:13.460 not allow any
00:44:14.320 water near your
00:44:15.120 face.
00:44:15.780 And it's not
00:44:16.120 just any old
00:44:16.680 jacket.
00:44:17.020 It's also got
00:44:17.480 five waterproof
00:44:18.360 pockets, so all
00:44:19.320 your gear stays
00:44:19.980 dry, whether
00:44:20.840 you're hiking,
00:44:21.740 fishing is what I
00:44:22.600 wear very often,
00:44:24.200 biking, getting
00:44:24.740 caught in a
00:44:25.480 storm on your
00:44:26.100 morning commute,
00:44:26.720 really anytime.
00:44:27.880 That's when you
00:44:29.080 need a jacket
00:44:29.820 like this.
00:44:30.420 And here's the
00:44:31.120 best part.
00:44:32.000 It actually
00:44:32.380 zips into
00:44:33.180 bearskin hoodie,
00:44:34.260 turning both
00:44:34.780 into a three-in-one
00:44:35.900 all-weather system.
00:44:36.900 So your fleece
00:44:37.540 stays warm and
00:44:38.640 dry underneath,
00:44:39.560 and you stay
00:44:40.780 comfortable and
00:44:41.600 dry on the
00:44:42.440 outside.
00:44:43.680 And also,
00:44:45.320 it looks great.
00:44:45.880 Somehow, this
00:44:46.880 jacket makes me
00:44:47.980 look good.
00:44:48.500 If it could do
00:44:48.820 that for me,
00:44:50.180 it can do,
00:44:50.980 think of the
00:44:51.440 wonders it can
00:44:51.900 do for you.
00:44:52.640 When you order
00:44:53.180 your bearskin
00:44:53.860 rain jacket,
00:44:54.440 you'll get fast
00:44:54.980 delivery and free
00:44:55.620 shipping from
00:44:56.180 within the U.S.

00:45:04.440 you a link so

00:45:07.380 So if you go

00:45:09.720 hope everyone
00:45:10.140 does at least
00:45:10.600 sometimes, rain or
00:45:11.860 shine, don't miss
00:45:13.220 out on this.
00:45:14.000 Highly recommend
00:45:14.520 it.
00:45:14.760 Text Matt
00:45:15.400 to 36912 and
00:45:17.420 get 60% off the
00:45:18.440 most badass
00:45:19.080 rain jacket on
00:45:19.880 the market.
00:45:21.020 Got pulled over
00:45:21.820 the other day for
00:45:22.560 speeding, but
00:45:23.080 didn't know it at
00:45:23.880 the time when the
00:45:24.480 officer told me why
00:45:25.400 I was being pulled
00:45:25.840 over.
00:45:26.040 I apologize and
00:45:26.840 admitted I was not
00:45:27.480 aware of the speed
00:45:28.020 limit and just going
00:45:28.800 with the speed of
00:45:29.240 the traffic.
00:45:29.760 After the cop did
00:45:30.360 his thing, he let
00:45:31.000 me go with a
00:45:31.500 warning and to
00:45:31.980 have a good day.
00:45:33.040 Good things happen
00:45:33.620 when you're polite
00:45:34.240 and compliant.
00:45:36.660 Yeah, it's amazing
00:45:37.480 what happens when
00:45:38.180 you're not
00:45:39.140 belligerent and
00:45:39.900 obnoxious.
00:45:41.540 And that's why,
00:45:42.480 as we talked
00:45:42.780 about yesterday, I
00:45:43.200 have no sympathy
00:45:43.780 for many of these
00:45:45.460 quote-unquote
00:45:45.960 victims of
00:45:46.640 quote-unquote
00:45:46.980 police brutality
00:45:47.700 that we hear
00:45:48.160 about because all
00:45:49.120 that's required to
00:45:49.780 avoid that kind
00:45:51.300 of situation is to
00:45:52.220 not be psychotically
00:45:53.620 belligerent and
00:45:54.420 obnoxious every
00:45:55.500 step of the way.
00:45:55.960 Just be a
00:45:56.380 normal, polite
00:45:56.960 person.
00:45:57.800 Be vaguely
00:45:58.620 reasonable.
00:45:59.940 I mean, your
00:46:00.240 life is so much
00:46:01.160 easier.
00:46:01.800 You'll live a
00:46:03.340 much easier,
00:46:05.340 happier life and
00:46:07.260 be a much more
00:46:07.700 successful person
00:46:08.720 if you're just
00:46:11.240 polite and
00:46:12.280 reasonable.
00:46:13.680 It's like the
00:46:14.400 bare minimum
00:46:15.000 requirement.
00:46:15.940 Let's see.
00:46:19.300 For the millionth
00:46:19.840 time, this
00:46:20.260 shouldn't be
00:46:20.540 adjudicated on
00:46:21.180 the side of
00:46:21.540 the road during
00:46:21.900 traffic stop,
00:46:22.380 but I am
00:46:22.660 opposed to
00:46:23.180 laws nitpicking
00:46:23.920 the shit out of
00:46:24.520 people.
00:46:25.120 All of this over
00:46:25.820 no headlights on a
00:46:26.560 cloudy day and
00:46:27.080 no seatbelt.
00:46:27.680 The laws are
00:46:28.100 overreaching,
00:46:28.740 excessive, and
00:46:29.300 stupid.
00:46:29.720 In New Hampshire,
00:46:30.720 if you're over
00:46:31.380 18, a seatbelt or
00:46:32.360 helmet is a choice,
00:46:33.140 as it should be.
00:46:34.100 There's zero good
00:46:34.780 reason why cops
00:46:35.400 should be smashing
00:46:35.880 windows, punching
00:46:36.460 people, dragging
00:46:36.960 them out, and
00:46:37.800 putting them under
00:46:38.140 arrest over this
00:46:38.720 nonsense.
00:46:39.140 Not defending this
00:46:39.780 idiot, but I
00:46:40.360 think we are
00:46:41.000 going to start
00:46:42.500 to see a lot
00:46:42.980 more of this
00:46:43.580 when normal
00:46:44.040 law-abiding
00:46:44.420 people are
00:46:45.060 constantly being
00:46:45.620 harassed and
00:46:46.100 hassled over
00:46:46.580 BS while
00:46:47.200 simultaneously being
00:46:47.960 told things
00:46:48.580 like illegal
00:46:49.380 farmhands get
00:46:50.980 a free pass.
00:46:51.740 This is
00:46:51.980 government
00:46:52.240 overreach and
00:46:52.700 needs to stop.
00:46:53.720 I basically
00:46:55.600 agree with you.
00:46:56.260 I don't like
00:46:56.540 the nitpicking
00:46:56.900 stuff.
00:46:57.600 I don't like
00:46:58.120 the petty
00:46:58.460 laws about
00:46:59.020 headlights during
00:46:59.580 the day and
00:47:00.040 seatbelts and
00:47:00.520 stuff like that.
00:47:01.580 I've never liked
00:47:02.340 any of that
00:47:02.660 stuff.
00:47:03.900 Although the
00:47:04.500 laws are on
00:47:05.160 the books,
00:47:07.900 like it or
00:47:08.260 not, and
00:47:08.920 cops have the
00:47:09.460 right and
00:47:09.680 responsibility to
00:47:10.400 enforce the
00:47:10.960 law.
00:47:12.580 If you don't
00:47:13.200 like the
00:47:13.560 law, then
00:47:14.540 that's definitely
00:47:15.280 not something
00:47:15.800 that you argue
00:47:16.360 with the cop
00:47:16.760 over.
00:47:17.080 Bring that to
00:47:17.660 your state.
00:47:18.460 That's not even
00:47:19.100 something you
00:47:19.420 argue in court
00:47:20.320 over.
00:47:21.440 You don't argue
00:47:22.280 against the
00:47:22.740 law itself.
00:47:25.400 You've got to
00:47:26.060 take that to
00:47:26.800 your state
00:47:28.800 government,
00:47:29.900 your legislators.
00:47:33.280 So, yeah,
00:47:34.400 but I basically
00:47:35.340 agree that the
00:47:36.380 laws themselves
00:47:36.920 are often petty.
00:47:38.100 Although I have
00:47:38.500 to say in
00:47:38.860 recent years,
00:47:39.980 I will say I've
00:47:40.760 kind of started
00:47:41.640 to see things
00:47:42.340 a little bit
00:47:42.780 differently.
00:47:44.000 And part of
00:47:44.800 me thinks that
00:47:45.580 the nitpicking
00:47:46.580 laws are
00:47:48.160 sometimes good,
00:47:49.100 not too many
00:47:49.600 of them,
00:47:50.180 but some of
00:47:50.960 them, because
00:47:53.400 it weeds out
00:47:54.460 people like the
00:47:55.080 guy we talked
00:47:55.540 about yesterday,
00:47:56.080 the people who
00:47:56.560 can't or aren't
00:47:57.280 willing to follow
00:47:58.000 simple, basic
00:47:58.980 rules.
00:48:00.880 And that's
00:48:01.500 good.
00:48:03.440 Because there are
00:48:04.700 kind of two
00:48:05.120 different types of
00:48:05.720 people.
00:48:05.960 people, there
00:48:06.860 are the people
00:48:07.400 who get pulled
00:48:07.960 over for a
00:48:08.900 headlight thing,
00:48:09.720 right?
00:48:10.460 Something small.
00:48:12.380 And they roll
00:48:13.040 their eyes to
00:48:13.540 themselves and
00:48:14.200 they go, all
00:48:14.640 right, fine, you
00:48:15.180 got me, fair
00:48:15.660 enough, okay,
00:48:16.480 yep, here you
00:48:17.960 go, here's my
00:48:18.380 license.
00:48:20.320 And then they go
00:48:21.180 about their day,
00:48:21.780 right?
00:48:22.900 And then you have
00:48:23.480 the people who,
00:48:26.260 when they get
00:48:27.720 pulled over that
00:48:28.160 situation, they
00:48:29.400 say, no, I'm
00:48:31.240 not going to do,
00:48:31.800 you can't make, I
00:48:32.680 refuse, call your
00:48:33.640 supervisor.
00:48:34.960 And I kind of
00:48:36.240 like the fact that
00:48:36.740 these laws cause
00:48:37.420 problems for that
00:48:38.160 second group.
00:48:39.280 I like that it
00:48:40.040 weeds them out.
00:48:42.000 Because they
00:48:42.540 aren't, you know,
00:48:43.020 these are not
00:48:43.480 rebels, right?
00:48:44.480 These aren't
00:48:44.800 people who refuse
00:48:45.620 to bow to the
00:48:46.260 man or whatever,
00:48:47.080 who are taking a
00:48:47.780 stand against,
00:48:48.380 that's not what
00:48:48.840 they're doing.
00:48:49.340 That's not what
00:48:49.780 they're doing.
00:48:51.120 They're just
00:48:51.780 dysfunctional,
00:48:53.080 emotionally
00:48:53.540 unstable, low
00:48:54.700 IQ idiots who
00:48:57.040 don't, who just
00:48:58.340 can't follow the
00:48:59.480 rules, don't want
00:48:59.900 to follow the
00:49:00.320 rules, think, they
00:49:01.720 think the rules
00:49:02.200 apply to
00:49:02.560 everybody else,
00:49:04.300 right?
00:49:05.360 Which is why
00:49:06.020 they're not out
00:49:07.360 like staging a
00:49:08.500 protest against
00:49:09.740 headlight laws in
00:49:10.880 general.
00:49:11.740 They only care the
00:49:12.720 moment it affects
00:49:13.340 them.
00:49:13.800 That's all, they
00:49:14.820 have a very narrow
00:49:15.980 concern about these
00:49:16.940 laws.
00:49:17.200 It's only how it
00:49:17.940 affects them and
00:49:18.900 inconveniences them.
00:49:20.680 And their problem
00:49:21.640 with it, again, is
00:49:22.540 just that they
00:49:24.600 don't think they
00:49:25.000 should have to
00:49:25.280 follow any rules.
00:49:27.240 So this guy,
00:49:28.420 William McNeil,
00:49:29.600 Jr., we talked
00:49:30.380 about yesterday,
00:49:31.180 this is a guy who
00:49:32.260 thinks that he
00:49:32.680 shouldn't have to
00:49:33.060 follow any rules.
00:49:33.960 That's it.
00:49:35.520 It's not any more
00:49:36.360 principle than that.
00:49:37.200 It's just simply, I
00:49:38.760 shouldn't have to
00:49:39.200 follow any rules at
00:49:40.000 all.
00:49:40.320 I'm special.
00:49:41.060 I shouldn't have to
00:49:41.560 follow the rules.
00:49:42.240 How dare you even
00:49:42.900 try to make me
00:49:43.420 follow them?
00:49:44.680 And so, yeah, I
00:49:45.880 kind of like the
00:49:46.380 fact that we have
00:49:47.160 some rules in
00:49:49.220 place where that
00:49:50.480 sort of weed those
00:49:51.260 people out.
00:49:51.800 that's another way
00:49:58.760 of looking at it.
00:50:00.920 I'm all for
00:50:01.500 exercising your
00:50:02.100 rights.
00:50:02.360 If they ask for
00:50:02.920 your permission to
00:50:03.760 search, never
00:50:04.300 consent.
00:50:04.840 If they ask you
00:50:05.380 where you're going,
00:50:06.140 what you're doing,
00:50:06.780 whatever, my
00:50:07.220 standard response
00:50:07.760 is, sir, I've
00:50:08.660 identified myself
00:50:09.360 and won't answer
00:50:09.840 any other questions
00:50:10.400 without an attorney
00:50:10.860 present.
00:50:11.480 But when told to
00:50:12.000 move, move when
00:50:12.820 they say and how
00:50:13.460 they say and you
00:50:14.420 won't get your
00:50:14.800 ass whooped.
00:50:15.240 Yeah, that's fine
00:50:19.700 if you want to do
00:50:20.560 that.
00:50:20.820 But personally, and
00:50:23.400 I've heard this
00:50:23.960 too, that when you
00:50:24.340 get pulled over and
00:50:25.000 the cops will ask,
00:50:26.480 has any time I've
00:50:26.940 been pulled over?
00:50:27.280 I've been pulled
00:50:27.640 over, I don't
00:50:28.980 know, in my whole
00:50:30.000 life, maybe six or
00:50:31.800 seven times.
00:50:33.580 But whenever I
00:50:36.420 have, you always
00:50:37.780 get the question,
00:50:38.260 where are you
00:50:38.500 going?
00:50:39.520 And I've always
00:50:40.180 answered it because
00:50:40.920 I don't, it's like,
00:50:42.660 oh, I'm going to
00:50:43.120 work or I'm going,
00:50:43.820 I don't know.
00:50:44.660 I don't see the
00:50:45.820 big deal in
00:50:46.280 answering it.
00:50:46.760 I don't know what
00:50:47.260 bad could happen
00:50:48.160 by just, unless
00:50:49.260 you're going somewhere,
00:50:49.940 unless you're like
00:50:50.300 going to do a
00:50:50.780 drug deal.
00:50:51.300 But most of the
00:50:52.580 time just saying,
00:50:53.240 oh, I'm running,
00:50:53.700 I'm running up to
00:50:54.200 CVS down the road.
00:50:55.280 It's like, I don't,
00:50:56.560 I don't, I don't see
00:50:58.660 how that can hurt you
00:50:59.340 to answer that
00:50:59.740 question.
00:50:59.980 But, um, so I
00:51:03.240 don't do this thing
00:51:03.980 that people do when
00:51:04.460 they get pulled over
00:51:05.080 for like a minor
00:51:05.720 speeding thing and
00:51:06.400 they start playing
00:51:07.040 lawyer on the side
00:51:07.900 of the road.
00:51:08.940 So, okay, you
00:51:10.000 know, but I've never
00:51:11.900 done that.
00:51:12.320 And it's just, it's
00:51:12.940 fine.
00:51:13.280 Like, it's just,
00:51:14.280 it's fine.
00:51:15.060 Just, they got you
00:51:16.560 for speeding.
00:51:17.200 It'll be fine.
00:51:18.020 It really is okay.
00:51:19.540 And pay the damn
00:51:20.480 ticket, move on with
00:51:21.280 your life.
00:51:21.740 And that's it.
00:51:22.860 You know, a lot
00:51:24.200 going on in my life.
00:51:24.820 I don't have time to
00:51:25.620 turn something like
00:51:26.440 this into a law and
00:51:27.120 order episode.
00:51:27.720 I just don't.
00:51:30.540 So, um, make life
00:51:32.320 easier on yourself is
00:51:33.280 my, kind of my
00:51:33.940 message there.
00:51:34.720 All right, let's get
00:51:35.360 to the daily
00:51:35.720 cancellation.

00:52:31.560 affordable.
00:52:32.620 Visit gcu.edu.
00:52:34.000 Normally, I don't go out
00:52:35.940 of my way to offer
00:52:36.540 financial advice to my
00:52:37.560 audience.
00:52:38.040 I'm not much of a
00:52:38.820 stock picker, and unlike,
00:52:40.120 say, the Somali community
00:52:41.000 of Minneapolis, I certainly
00:52:42.000 don't presume to have any
00:52:43.580 great insight into any
00:52:44.600 get-rich-quick schemes or
00:52:46.360 anything like that.
00:52:46.980 But in light of recent
00:52:48.360 events, I have to make an
00:52:49.340 exception to my general
00:52:50.300 principle, or at least I have
00:52:51.460 to make an exception to a
00:52:52.640 very, very small percentage
00:52:54.740 of my audience.
00:52:56.160 This is a percentage that's so
00:52:57.340 small that really it may not
00:52:58.880 exist at all, if I'm being
00:52:59.760 honest.
00:53:00.020 But if anyone in this very,
00:53:02.340 very specific subset of my
00:53:03.740 audience happens to be
00:53:04.440 listening at the moment, then
00:53:06.060 this is your lucky day.
00:53:07.380 So here we go.
00:53:08.180 If you're one of the 1,400
00:53:09.340 people who happen to be
00:53:10.340 working in construction at
00:53:11.980 Nashville Nissan Stadium, the
00:53:13.680 future home of the NFL's
00:53:15.160 Tennessee Titans, then you
00:53:16.880 currently have the
00:53:17.380 opportunity of a lifetime to
00:53:18.320 make a guaranteed $250,000,
00:53:20.480 no questions asked.
00:53:21.500 All you have to do is explain
00:53:22.840 that you were doing your job
00:53:24.720 in a completely normal fashion,
00:53:25.860 and you will probably receive a
00:53:27.520 quarter of a million dollars.
00:53:28.800 That's it.
00:53:30.020 There's no catch.
00:53:31.420 Here's a local news station
00:53:32.760 in Nashville to explain.
00:53:35.220 A quarter of a million dollars
00:53:36.540 is being offered to anyone who
00:53:38.060 can give information about the
00:53:39.420 person who hung a noose inside
00:53:41.960 the new Nissan Stadium
00:53:43.000 construction site.
00:53:43.980 Work is on pause as they
00:53:45.540 investigate.
00:53:46.220 Our Dryden Quigley has the
00:53:47.500 latest details.
00:53:49.140 It's empty here at the Nissan
00:53:50.720 Stadium construction site.
00:53:52.400 That's because work is shut
00:53:53.760 down while they investigate who
00:53:55.600 is responsible for putting up a
00:53:57.560 noose in the new stadium.
00:53:58.780 This week, the Tennessee Builders
00:54:01.100 Alliance, or TBA, said they
00:54:03.080 discovered a noose somewhere on
00:54:05.200 the construction site.
00:54:06.580 They told us they immediately
00:54:07.820 called police, stopped work, and
00:54:10.120 are cooperating with the
00:54:11.300 investigation.
00:54:12.420 They're making counseling
00:54:13.480 services available to all workers
00:54:15.480 and requiring more anti-bias
00:54:18.060 training.
00:54:18.900 In a statement, they wrote in part,
00:54:20.940 we are outraged and deeply
00:54:22.360 saddened by this act.
00:54:24.020 Racism and hate have no place
00:54:25.960 here.
00:54:26.260 Well, they'll show you pictures
00:54:27.860 of the fence.
00:54:28.900 They'll show you close-ups of
00:54:29.940 random cones and stop signs.
00:54:32.320 The one thing they won't show
00:54:33.100 you, strangely enough, if you
00:54:34.220 noticed, is the noose.
00:54:35.980 You know, the entire purpose of
00:54:37.440 the story.
00:54:38.660 And the $250,000 reward.
00:54:41.460 And the outrage, etc.
00:54:43.300 That's the one thing you don't get
00:54:44.240 to see, is the actual thing
00:54:45.520 itself.
00:54:46.760 And not only that, they won't
00:54:47.820 even mention the possibility that
00:54:49.560 in fact, this noose might really
00:54:50.840 be a standard slipknot for rope
00:54:52.740 rigging, which has about a million
00:54:54.300 reasonable, rather reasonable
00:54:56.620 uses on a construction site,
00:54:57.960 including hoisting or dragging
00:54:59.100 supplies, there's a lot you can
00:55:01.200 do with a rope on a construction
00:55:03.140 site.
00:55:03.960 That doesn't even come up in this
00:55:05.740 news report.
00:55:06.660 You're just ordered to conclude
00:55:07.740 that this invisible noose, which
00:55:09.060 you're not allowed to see, has to
00:55:10.280 be some kind of coded racist
00:55:11.840 message, one that's so damaging
00:55:14.000 that counseling is being offered to
00:55:15.820 the construction workers.
00:55:16.860 Yes, they've offered counseling and
00:55:18.940 shut down the entire job site.
00:55:21.160 I went through about a dozen
00:55:22.280 articles and videos on this
00:55:23.480 horrific incident.
00:55:24.700 Not a single one actually showed a
00:55:26.680 picture of the noose.
00:55:28.880 Here's another one.
00:55:29.760 This is a separate news channel in
00:55:30.940 Nashville, to be clear.
00:55:31.900 Watch.
00:55:33.080 Investigators say a noose was found
00:55:35.040 at the new Nissan Stadium
00:55:36.420 construction site.
00:55:37.700 Now work on that site has been
00:55:39.300 suspended and Metro police are
00:55:41.260 investigating.
00:55:42.180 Nashville Mayor Freddie O'Connell
00:55:43.260 says the city has taken steps to
00:55:45.180 prevent hate incidents like these.
00:55:47.840 Yes, it is very concerning.
00:55:49.680 There is an open investigation.
00:55:51.020 I know the Titans are cooperating
00:55:52.740 with our Metro Nashville police.
00:55:55.080 The Tennessee Builders Alliance,
00:55:57.060 who is overseeing the stadium
00:55:58.260 construction, released a statement
00:55:59.600 about the incident.
00:56:00.640 They say in part, quote, we are
00:56:01.780 outraged and deeply saddened by this
00:56:03.940 act.
00:56:04.540 We are working in close partnership
00:56:06.040 with our client, trade partners and
00:56:07.940 unions to ensure every worker
00:56:09.900 understands that racism and hate
00:56:11.700 have no place here.
00:56:13.020 Everyone deserves to feel safe,
00:56:14.640 welcomed and treated with respect and
00:56:16.700 dignity.
00:56:17.500 That last part isn't even remotely
00:56:19.120 true.
00:56:19.940 Everyone doesn't deserve to feel that
00:56:22.320 they're safe and welcome.
00:56:23.640 That's actually the root of the
00:56:25.840 problem.
00:56:27.080 I mean, it'd be accurate to say that
00:56:28.400 if a noose were in fact placed on
00:56:31.320 the premises as part of an attempt to
00:56:33.080 terrorize black people by some sort of
00:56:35.160 time traveler from the 1920s who
00:56:36.860 somehow wound up on the construction
00:56:38.340 site of the new Tennessee Titan
00:56:39.600 Stadium, then that would certainly be a
00:56:41.900 noteworthy event for a local news
00:56:43.440 report, I'll admit.
00:56:44.120 But it's not accurate to say that
00:56:46.400 black construction workers are
00:56:48.240 entitled to feel that they're safe
00:56:50.300 and welcomed at all times, no matter
00:56:51.740 what.
00:56:52.900 No one has that right.
00:56:54.340 You are not entitled to have certain
00:56:56.140 feelings.
00:56:57.220 That is an unsustainable and absurd
00:56:59.360 premise.
00:57:01.040 And it leads to situations like this,
00:57:03.600 where a construction site is shut down
00:57:05.480 because of a piece of rope that no
00:57:06.820 one's allowed to even see.
00:57:08.900 Now, fortunately for everybody hoping
00:57:10.080 that this construction will eventually
00:57:11.700 finished, the workers were eventually
00:57:13.600 allowed back on site, having received
00:57:15.600 therapy for the trauma they endured.
00:57:18.880 But at the same time, local civil
00:57:20.340 rights organizations are still very
00:57:22.060 angry about the whole situation.
00:57:23.480 Watch.
00:57:24.320 Construction has resumed at the new
00:57:25.620 Nissan Stadium after a noose was
00:57:27.980 found last week, leading to a
00:57:29.760 shutdown of operations there.
00:57:31.160 Jordan James has more on the decision
00:57:33.060 and what's next.
00:57:34.700 For the first time since late last
00:57:36.700 week, construction is back underway here
00:57:38.600 at the new Nissan Stadium following a
00:57:40.840 noose being discovered.
00:57:42.560 Authorities continue to investigate
00:57:44.060 how it ended up here.
00:57:45.680 The company overseeing this project,
00:57:47.560 Tennessee Builders Alliance, appears
00:57:49.660 to have lifted the shutdown after vowing
00:57:51.660 to focus on inclusion, respect, also
00:57:54.560 requiring additional anti-bias training
00:57:56.900 for workers.
00:57:58.080 Meanwhile, the impact lingers beyond the
00:57:59.960 stadium as local civil rights organizations
00:58:02.120 demand more accountability.
00:58:03.940 I mean, you can't teach people how not
00:58:05.880 to be racist.
00:58:06.560 You can't teach people how not to
00:58:08.720 come against other people that don't
00:58:12.300 have the same agenda as yours.
00:58:14.540 This stuff has to be grown and raised
00:58:17.920 and birthed in you.
00:58:20.080 Well, OK, if that's the case, then we
00:58:22.340 don't need anti-bias training at all.
00:58:24.700 If you can't teach people how not to be
00:58:26.340 racist and it has to be birthed in you,
00:58:28.540 whatever that means, then there's really
00:58:30.420 no point in shutting down the construction
00:58:31.760 site for anti-bias training in the first
00:58:33.320 place.
00:58:33.620 So at least we've come to a point of
00:58:35.600 consensus to some degree.
00:58:37.120 Both the left and the right can agree
00:58:38.420 that in every case, anti-bias training
00:58:40.160 serves no purpose whatsoever.
00:58:42.440 Therefore, the next time a noose is found
00:58:44.060 at a construction site, the whole thing
00:58:45.240 doesn't need to be shut down so that
00:58:46.720 some DEI consultancy run by a Somali
00:58:49.100 can get six figures worth of taxpayer
00:58:50.540 money to tell everybody that racism is
00:58:52.100 bad.
00:58:53.060 That would be some level of progress, I
00:58:54.800 guess.
00:58:56.060 But an even larger degree of progress
00:58:58.780 could be achieved in if any of these
00:59:01.020 construction companies or activists or
00:59:02.620 media outlets took a step back and looked
00:59:04.920 at the history of alleged nooses that
00:59:06.600 have been found on construction sites.
00:59:07.920 It's a very long and staggering list.
00:59:10.160 And in every single case, the incidents
00:59:11.460 are totally unproven and implausible and
00:59:14.820 ridiculous, which makes you very strongly
00:59:17.160 suspect that in every case, they're either
00:59:19.000 completely normal pieces of rope that
00:59:20.620 serve a vital purpose for the construction
00:59:22.180 job or they're a hoax placed there by an
00:59:24.680 activist.
00:59:26.080 In the modern history of this country, there
00:59:27.860 is not a single confirmed case of a noose
00:59:29.880 being placed at a construction site by some
00:59:32.280 KKK member.
00:59:33.060 In fact, I'm not aware of a single confirmed
00:59:34.520 case of a noose being placed by some white
00:59:37.060 racist anywhere at any point in the 21st
00:59:40.680 century.
00:59:41.700 These cases are always hoax.
00:59:44.220 So let's run through some of these failed
00:59:45.800 allegations as quickly and mercifully as we
00:59:47.520 can.
00:59:48.240 In August of 2017, the DCist reported, quote,
00:59:51.200 After a series of nooses have been reported
00:59:53.060 in DC and elsewhere in recent months,
00:59:54.820 residents in Ivy City called DC police
00:59:56.780 about what looked like a noose that was
00:59:58.300 hanging from a construction site in the
00:59:59.760 neighborhood on Wednesday morning.
01:00:01.840 After investigating the situation, police
01:00:03.080 determined that the construction crew was
01:00:04.600 using the rope to move equipment.
01:00:06.740 Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson
01:00:08.120 Nikita Brown told DCist that the incident
01:00:09.880 is not being investigated as a hate crime.
01:00:12.880 Now, the story actually gets more amusing
01:00:14.180 from there.
01:00:14.760 So let's keep reading.
01:00:15.600 Quote, people have been on high alert because
01:00:17.380 the appearance of nooses is becoming a trend in
01:00:19.480 DC when one was found hanging in an exhibit at
01:00:22.060 the Smithsonian's National Museum of African
01:00:23.820 American History and Culture in June.
01:00:25.520 The museum's founding director, Lonnie Bunch,
01:00:27.440 said it has long represented a deplorable act
01:00:29.820 of cowardice and depravity, a symbol of extreme
01:00:32.020 violence for African-Americans.
01:00:34.440 Parisa Naruzi, who runs the nonprofit Empower
01:00:37.560 DC that does advocacy work in the neighborhood,
01:00:39.700 was on the scene when the first officer arrived
01:00:41.320 and she took issue with his attitude.
01:00:43.120 He's extremely dismissive towards us, Naruzi says.
01:00:45.880 We asked what is protocol for investigating a
01:00:48.260 potential hate crime, and his immediate response
01:00:49.840 is, why would you say this is a hate crime?
01:00:52.040 He was very belligerent and condescending.
01:00:53.800 It was really shocking to see, Naruzi said.
01:00:55.400 Instead of securing the area, the officer
01:00:56.660 just walked off, she said.
01:00:58.820 Then a construction worker removed the purported
01:01:00.300 noose that hung several feet in the air.
01:01:02.160 It was taken down by the time other police
01:01:03.920 officers arrived.
01:01:04.960 Naruzi said that a Spanish-speaking
01:01:06.040 construction worker told an officer that they
01:01:08.360 use those all the time for guiding steel.
01:01:11.840 Now, just in case you need a visual here,
01:01:13.580 here's what Parisa Naruzi looks like.
01:01:15.900 This person berated a police officer and a
01:01:19.060 Spanish-speaking construction worker over a piece
01:01:21.000 of rope that she suspected was a noose, and then
01:01:22.920 instead of pretending to care about this woman's
01:01:24.920 obvious mental health issues, they just walked
01:01:27.140 away.
01:01:27.540 And that's obviously the right approach in every
01:01:29.540 situation like this.
01:01:30.980 It's clear for everyone to see that this very
01:01:32.920 overweight and unpleasant activist couldn't tell
01:01:34.860 you a word about construction or about guiding
01:01:37.360 steel.
01:01:39.360 She can't look at a construction site and say,
01:01:41.900 oh, that shouldn't be here.
01:01:43.480 She's got no clue what should be on a construction
01:01:45.500 site and what shouldn't be.
01:01:47.620 And you can't gain anything by humoring someone like
01:01:49.860 this, so you just need to ignore them.
01:01:51.840 But very few people actually do ignore people like
01:01:53.880 this, and therefore, over the last few years, there
01:01:55.600 have been a very large number of reported nooses at
01:01:57.580 construction sites.
01:01:58.340 And in every case, what do you know?
01:02:00.160 No white supremacist culprit has been identified, even
01:02:03.040 though there's been a very clear financial incentive for
01:02:05.300 workers to report the alleged Klansmen in their midst.
01:02:08.720 Here's NPR, quote,
01:02:09.520 In April 2021, construction workers at an Amazon warehouse
01:02:11.840 site in Connecticut were horrified when they found rope
01:02:14.540 shaped like a noose hanging from the ceiling.
01:02:16.880 The hate symbol was quickly reported to their bosses.
01:02:18.920 Two days later, five additional nooses appeared.
01:02:21.060 The next month, two more discovered.
01:02:22.540 Amazon, along with R.C.
01:02:23.700 Anderson and a property developer, Scannell Properties,
01:02:26.480 collectively offered a $100,000 reward for information
01:02:28.660 leading to the identification of the culprits.
01:02:31.760 And guess what?
01:02:32.200 Despite a thorough investigation, a six-figure reward,
01:02:34.880 no suspects ever materialized.
01:02:36.820 It was the perfect crime.
01:02:37.640 Here's the Washington Post, which reported on yet more
01:02:40.640 perfect crimes, all of which took place on construction
01:02:43.620 sites, strangely enough.
01:02:45.620 Quote, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple, or their contractors,
01:02:48.980 have all had nooses show up on major construction sites in
01:02:51.420 recent years.
01:02:52.260 Some incidents triggered work stoppages on projects employing
01:02:55.460 hundreds, even thousands of workers.
01:02:58.480 Can you imagine?
01:02:59.420 Amazon, Facebook, Apple are all employing racist contractors.
01:03:02.600 And all these racists, for whatever reason, express their racism
01:03:05.360 in exactly the same way.
01:03:06.940 They hang nooses at construction sites without being spotted by
01:03:10.580 cameras, without being seen by witnesses.
01:03:12.980 These are ninjas, essentially.
01:03:14.940 And these ninjas will turn up anywhere.
01:03:17.680 A few years ago, they turned up at the construction site of Obama's
01:03:20.880 temple, otherwise known as a presidential library in Chicago.
01:03:24.460 A disturbing story now at five.
01:03:27.700 Construction at the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago had to be suspended
01:03:31.900 after someone discovered a noose at the site yesterday.
01:03:35.560 The Obama Foundation called it a shameless act of cowardice and hate.
01:03:39.360 The construction company building the center says it has zero tolerance
01:03:42.940 for any form of bias or hate.
01:03:45.240 The company is offering a $100,000 reward to help find whoever is responsible.
01:03:50.340 So, of course, it's Bubba Wallace's garage all over again.
01:03:54.360 Sure, there's no suspect, even though this was an extremely high-profile story
01:03:57.600 with an immense amount of media and police interest.
01:04:00.440 Sure, there's no picture of the noose.
01:04:02.840 You just get stock footage of the construction site once again.
01:04:06.080 But the important thing is that you recognize that construction workers are so racist
01:04:09.200 that they feel no compunction whatsoever about hanging nooses on job sites
01:04:12.540 to terrorize Black people.
01:04:14.780 I could spend the next hour going through all the noose hoaxes on construction sites
01:04:18.060 in the past few years.
01:04:18.680 In fact, we did something like that relatively recently.
01:04:20.520 So instead, I'll just make two obvious points here.
01:04:23.020 The first is that it's fashionable to demonize construction workers
01:04:25.660 because they're rare examples of productivity in a modern America.
01:04:29.220 Angsty teenagers will identify as non-binary, transgender, or whatever,
01:04:33.140 but they'll never identify as construction workers.
01:04:35.040 And there's reason for that.
01:04:35.960 People who actually create value in society are the single greatest enemy
01:04:39.300 of the people in power.
01:04:40.420 They are not dependent on handouts.
01:04:44.220 They're not relying on government to survive.
01:04:45.940 They don't revel in self-pity or mental illness or weakness.
01:04:49.720 Therefore, they have independence.
01:04:51.340 As a result, they're the enemy.
01:04:53.180 The media has no reservations whatsoever about smearing these people
01:04:56.260 as cartoon racists without any evidence.
01:04:58.780 The other point that needs to be made here is that even if a noose was placed
01:05:02.900 on a construction site by a card-carrying member of the KKK,
01:05:05.560 which again has not happened,
01:05:07.080 the response here is completely disproportionate and insane.
01:05:10.360 You don't need counseling because of a piece of rope,
01:05:12.420 no matter what shape that rope is in and no matter who placed that rope.
01:05:15.920 Multi-million dollar construction projects don't need to be shut down
01:05:18.580 because someone claims there's a noose.
01:05:20.720 Huge awards don't need to be offered.
01:05:23.280 A sane society can recognize bad conduct without melting down into hysterics over it.
01:05:28.340 And a functioning society can move on productively
01:05:30.600 in the face of inanimate objects that appear on construction sites.
01:05:34.920 On the other hand, when you reward people for spotting fake nooses
01:05:38.300 and devolve into panic and start offering quarter-million-dollar rewards,
01:05:42.540 you simply encourage more fake reports of nooses
01:05:45.060 by construction workers looking for a payday.
01:05:47.640 And in many cases, as we've seen in several other contexts,
01:05:50.560 alleged victims will hang the nooses all by themselves
01:05:52.960 simply to garner sympathy or a quick payday.
01:05:56.700 That's the rational response, really.
01:05:58.540 They're giving people massive incentive to claim victimhood,
01:06:01.580 and they'll happily do it,
01:06:02.600 as demonstrated by the rash of nooses on construction sites
01:06:05.280 and, you know, many other places.
01:06:09.080 The only way to end this cycle of self-pity and dysfunction
01:06:11.480 is for self-described journalists to spend a day on a construction site
01:06:15.040 so they can learn that rope is not, in fact,
01:06:17.960 a weapon of mass destruction that was invented by white supremacists
01:06:20.540 to terrorize construction sites.
01:06:22.760 It'd also be helpful to remove all the incentives for this kind of hysteria,
01:06:26.400 starting with the huge rewards.
01:06:28.940 But because the media is desperately trying to drum up
01:06:30.880 another George Floyd narrative at the moment,
01:06:32.520 it's likely that we won't see any of those reforms anytime soon.
01:06:35.760 And that is why everyone who's pretending that a racist noose
01:06:38.260 was just found at the construction site
01:06:39.680 of the future home of the Tennessee Titans
01:06:41.000 is today canceled.
01:06:44.400 That'll do it for the show today and this week.
01:06:45.960 Talk to you on Monday.
01:06:47.980 Have a great weekend.
01:06:48.660 Godspeed.
