00:04:40.620 In other words, a carpenter's relationship to furniture is analogous to a cobbler's relationship to what object?

00:06:19.220 a researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Minnesota.

00:06:23.900 Look at where 90 IQ is on that x-axis.

00:06:28.240 As you can see, there's a fairly large number of people with college degrees,

00:06:32.200 as well as advanced degrees, like PhDs, that fall below the 90 IQ threshold.

00:06:38.600 These are people who wouldn't get the cobbler question correct.

00:06:43.440 They'd get that one wrong.

00:06:45.000 And some of them have PhDs.

00:06:48.080 They get a much easier question wrong, too.

00:06:50.620 We're talking about people who are well below the average IQ of the typical American, 0.58

00:07:01.660 This is a trend that, as you might expect, has accelerated in recent decades.

00:07:13.500 and it divides them up by educational attainment and sex.

00:07:15.920 And as you can see, across the board, average IQs are dropping for all of these levels.

00:07:21.380 Men and women with college degrees, with high school diplomas and dropouts,

00:07:25.120 they've all been getting progressively dumber since the 1940s.

00:07:29.200 According to Matt McGue, the researcher at the University of Minnesota,

00:07:32.160 people with IQs below 90 are finishing college at dramatically higher rates

00:07:36.560 than they were in previous generations.

00:07:39.400 Men with IQs below 90 are finishing college six times as much,

00:07:43.600 while women with IQs below 90 are finishing college ten times as much as they used to.

00:07:53.440 Now, at this point, there's no need for me to go into any great detail

00:07:56.480 about the impact of diploma mills, civil rights movement, the DEI.

00:08:03.720 All of these factors are leading to lower standards,

00:08:06.980 drastically, drastically lower standards in colleges and universities.

00:08:14.260 What you may not know, even though it's a critical part of the story,

00:08:18.200 is how much of the education system isn't simply erasing standards,

00:08:21.880 handing out useless college degrees and teaching propaganda.

00:08:24.280 But there are many schools that are doing something much more dangerous

00:08:30.840 This is a message I received a few days ago from a woman named Leah,

00:08:34.680 who says that she was a teacher in Rochester, Minnesota, around a decade ago.

00:08:39.240 She was pursuing a master's degree, and as part of that program,

00:08:42.860 she was assigned to teach in a local elementary school.

00:08:45.460 This is a school that claims to be focused on math and science.

00:08:48.180 And when she arrived, she says she realized that everyone else was Somali

00:08:53.740 and that the school was governed by Islamic law.

00:08:57.420 Quote,

00:08:57.780 When I showed up at the school, I was greeted by some Somalian men

00:09:00.540 who were friendly but needed to explain things to me

00:09:03.220 before I could observe in the classroom.

00:09:05.260 They spent two days with me in private meetings to explain the culture

00:09:09.760 Long story short, the school is run by Muslim elders. 0.98

00:11:46.800 And here's how the scam worked.

00:12:15.380 came from fraudulent billings to Medicaid.
