00:00:30.000It can be difficult to keep track of all the news, especially when every day seems to bring new horrors beyond all human comprehension.
00:00:37.420But it was just two months ago that one of the largest psyops in modern American political history was exposed in a federal indictment.
00:00:45.240You might remember the Trump administration presented evidence showing that a prominent and very powerful left-wing activist group called the Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC, was secretly giving millions of dollars to people who were closely associated with and working on behalf of white supremacists and Nazis.
00:01:03.700And in public, the SPLC claimed that white supremacy was the greatest threat facing the country,
00:01:09.620and they raised a lot of money from leftists in order to defeat this great threat.
00:01:15.060They also pressured federal agencies and social media platforms successfully, in many cases,
00:01:19.600to harass and censor anyone that they deemed racist.
00:01:23.680But in private, as alleged in this indictment, the SPLC was funneling huge amounts of money
00:01:29.860to people actually associated with the Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Nations and National Socialist
00:01:35.940Party of America. In other words, because the demand for white supremacy greatly exceeds the
00:01:40.960supply in this country, the SPLC had to create some more supply. That's exactly what they did.
00:01:48.280By far, SPLC's most successful PSYOP was the so-called Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville,
00:01:53.620which took place in August 2017. This event immediately became a central part of left-wing
00:02:02.080mythology. It was their ace in the hole against Donald Trump, proof positive, supposedly, that he
00:02:07.480was a white supremacist. The rally was allegedly the reason that Joe Biden ran for president.
00:02:12.600Kamala Harris repeatedly mentioned it. Every claim the left made about the event was, of course,
00:02:19.000a lie. First, they claimed that everybody in attendance was a white supremacist,
00:02:22.160but that was not remotely true. Most of the attendees were protesting the removal of a
00:02:26.800Robert E. Lee statue, which was a righteous cause because Robert E. Lee is a great man of history
00:02:32.200and an American icon. And as Trump pointed out, the left was never going to stop with his statue
00:02:37.460anyway. They were on a mission to destroy the statues of all American heroes, which is exactly
00:02:41.820what they did. Then the left claimed that Donald Trump called neo-Nazis very fine people when he
00:02:46.760explicitly said the opposite. And additionally, the left pushed the narrative that a white
00:02:50.820supremacists had deliberately run over a crowd of protesters, even though evidence showed that
00:02:54.820his vehicle was surrounded by a mob and attacked, and he pressed the accelerator to escape the
00:02:59.720violence. The driver of the vehicle had entered his home address on his GPS. He was distraught
00:03:05.280to learn people had died. Responding officers believed the incident was an accident, none of
00:03:09.800which mattered to the media, which never reported any of this. But the SPLC's role in the rally,
00:03:14.560according to the DOJ's indictment, wasn't really understood until recently. As it happens, one of
00:03:19.580the organizers of the Unite the Right rally was on the SPLC's payroll, and this informant helped
00:03:25.440plan the Unite the Right rally and, quote, attended the event at the direction of the SPLC.
00:03:30.920He also, quote, made racist postings under the supervision of the SPLC. It helped coordinate
00:03:35.600transportation to the event for several attendees. From 2015 to 2023, the SPLC paid this individual
00:03:41.880more than a quarter million dollars yes the worst neo-nazi rally in memory really the only neo-nazi
00:03:50.820rally in memory which wasn't even really a neo-nazi rally the one that dominated the news
00:03:55.520cycle for weeks and became a permanent part of american political discourse was organized
00:04:00.900by somebody on the left's payroll for the spLC and the democrat party more generally the return
00:04:08.000on investment was immediate and enormous. The SPLC's revenue ballooned from $51 million to $133
00:04:15.620million thanks to massive donations from Apple, JPMorgan Chase, other major corporations. Spotify
00:04:21.860and Facebook, along with other social media platforms, began crackdowns on so-called hate
00:04:26.420speech. And of course, Donald Trump was forever branded as the new Hitler, someone who had
00:04:31.000publicly endorsed violent tiki torch mobs, even though he did no such thing.
00:04:35.460only now, many years later, are federal prosecutors alleging that the SPLC was involved in this
00:04:42.600operation the entire time. In the process, according to the DOJ, the SPLC defrauded its
00:04:48.260donors. The donors were told their money was going to fight white supremacy, whatever that
00:04:52.940means. But in reality, their money was going towards Nazi fundraising and false flag operations.
00:04:59.640All this to say, it would be difficult to imagine that the year could get any worse for the SPLC.
00:05:06.420The SPLC's entire racket requires that people can pretend to take them seriously as some kind of impartial arbiter of the truth when they decree that somebody is racist and dangerous or whatever.
00:05:18.480For example, when Joe Biden's FBI began investigating radical traditional Catholics, quote unquote, the FBI cited the SPLC.
00:05:26.680The FBI knew the SPLC was lying, but that didn't matter. All that mattered is that in the FBI's estimation, the SPLC was trustworthy enough to cite in a memo as a pretext to crack down on Catholics.
00:05:39.340And along the same lines, if you ended up on the SPLC's hate list, then many corporations and advertisers would avoid you. You'd get blackballed.
00:05:48.120And that's not even getting into the fact that once you were tagged by the SPLC, an army of angry left-wing nutcases would also descend on you.
00:05:55.700I was on their list, along with Turning Point USA.
00:05:58.080So was the Family Research Council, which was shot up by a gunman who was inspired by the SPLC's hate list.
00:06:03.320He explicitly told the police that the SPLC's hate list inspired his attack.
00:06:08.740Just a few years later, the SPLC is no longer trustworthy enough for any serious person to even pretend to take seriously.
00:06:15.440their cover has been blown. If the FBI or major corporation wants to harass you on the basis of
00:06:22.420some false accusation of racism, well, the SPLC isn't helpful anymore. So really, they have no
00:06:28.600reason to exist. But as if that's not bad enough, somehow the case against the SPLC has become even
00:06:34.680more devastating and utterly humiliating. The DOJ filed what's called a superseding indictment in
00:06:41.420the case, which is basically an indictment that revises the original one. And in this new
00:06:46.700indictment, the DOJ alleges that a high-level SPLC official, the director of their intelligence
00:06:52.020project, was sleeping with an informant in a white supremacist group called the National Alliance.
00:06:59.840The group was founded by William Luther Pierce, who wrote the Turner Diaries, which inspired the
00:07:05.740Oklahoma City bombings for some background there. On top of that, according to the indictment,
00:07:10.800the SPLC was funneling more than a million dollars to this particular white supremacist
00:07:16.940while their intelligence director was sleeping with him.
00:07:22.240So here's a picture of the intelligence director, apparently.
00:07:28.640Also gives you an idea of the standards of this white supremacist, lowly standards.
00:07:34.180And now the New York Post reports that the SPLC official in question is, quote,
00:07:37.960believed to be Heidi Barrick, a 58-year-old fascism expert who was the director of intelligence
00:07:44.900at the SPLC between 2012 and 2019. Now, before we go further into the details of the allegation here
00:07:51.640and the details are worth talking about, let's just stop and think about this for a second.
00:07:57.560Think about how on the nose this is. The SPLC was going around saying F-fascists,
00:08:03.700you know and what do you know they were doing exactly that they were effing the fascists
00:08:11.620and they were funding them too so there's a lot of f words getting mixed in
00:08:15.460i mean really somebody needs to turn this story into a romantic comedy screenplay immediately
00:08:22.020okay if none of you guys will do it then i'll have to do it myself um someone's got to do it
00:08:28.420and i've already started kind of pre-production in my mind and uh the only snag i can identify
00:08:33.680if I, you know, admittedly, it's a big one, is that Philip Seymour Hoffman is not alive to play
00:08:39.620the woman. That's the great tragedy here. Take a look at these at these two and tell me the
00:08:44.340resemblance isn't uncanny. I'm generally opposed to you to the use of like holograms in movies or
00:08:50.340AI. But in this case, it may be worth it. And it's not just because she looks exactly like
00:08:54.060Philip Seymour Hoffman. The more you read the DOJ's allegations, which include a Watergate
00:08:58.020style break-in, the more you'll agree with me that he's the perfect casting choice, even if he's
00:09:05.120dead. Quoting from the new indictment, at the direction of the SPLC, the informant infiltrated
00:09:10.100the neo-Nazi organization, the National Alliance, while receiving donors' money from the SPLC. The
00:09:15.520informant was also fundraising for the National Alliance. The money the informant raised helped
00:09:20.640the National Alliance carry out its extremist activities. So in other words, the SPLC was paying
00:09:26.600a guy to raise money for a Nazi group. They're so opposed to Nazis that they install secret
00:09:32.440operatives inside Nazi organizations in order to help the Nazis raise money for themselves.
00:09:39.380Oh, and then they also, you know, sleep with the Nazis too. So you're probably asking yourself,0.55
00:09:44.440what exactly makes this guy an informant? I mean, aren't they just paying a Nazi to be a Nazi?
00:09:49.840As it turns out, indeed, this informant did perform some undercover work, which appears to be very illegal.
00:09:58.760Quote, in 2014, the informant broke into headquarters of an extremist organization and stole approximately 25 boxes of documents.
00:10:06.280The informant transported those documents across state lines from West Virginia to North Carolina.
00:10:10.740The informant broke into the headquarters again and returned the originals after copies were made.
00:10:16.080The SPLC official used the copies, knowing they were stolen, as the basis for a story published on Hate Watch.
00:10:22.720The SPLC used this story to solicit more donations.
00:10:25.520The SPLC official paid approximately $6,000 in donors' money to a separate individual to falsely take responsibility for the burglary.
00:10:35.020Okay, so these are like major crimes, by the way.
00:10:37.440This is a major criminal conspiracy.0.99
00:10:39.620The woman allegedly used donor money to pay someone else to take the fall for her boyfriend.
00:10:47.960And the hate watch article that the SPLC wrote, allegedly based on stolen documents, is called Chaos at the Compound.
00:10:55.400It's still online. And according to the article, quote, Randolph Dilloway, 49, an accountant with almost a decade of experience,
00:11:02.320was secretly hired by Alliance chairman Will Williams in December to conduct in a forensic
00:11:06.960audit of the organization's bake statements, member dues documents, and federal income
00:11:11.520tax filings. Terrified as his former employer, Dilloway contacted the SPLC on May 6th.
00:11:17.780Active in the neo-Nazi white supremacist scene for more than a decade, Dilloway moved to the
00:11:21.940NA headquarters compound last winter and was given full, unsupervised access to offices
00:11:26.280holding dozens of boxes of poorly filed financial documents and data disks associated with the
00:11:32.100Group's various business entities going back to 1985. Among the thousands of pages of documents,
00:11:37.360database files, transaction records, and digital media provided by Dilloway to the SPLC, the
00:11:41.580disturbing email exchanges he had with Calamaros and Williams outlining possible financial
00:11:46.360improprieties earlier this year seemed to suggest the alliance attorney was advising them to ignore
00:11:51.780evidence of tax fraud and embezzlement to avoid being audited by the IRS. Okay, so you can see
00:11:57.740what's going on here. The SPLC is doing what it usually does. They're providing a pretext
00:12:03.200for federal agencies to shut down groups that they don't approve of. The FBI presumably
00:12:09.200couldn't get a warrant to look into the financial records of this particular white supremacist
00:12:13.980group. So the SPLC steps up to the plate. They break into the offices, steal the documents,
00:12:20.260and then publicize them. And then once that happens, the FBI and the IRS have probable cause
00:12:25.880to get their search warrants and to launch their investigations.
00:12:30.680Now, this is something a lot of people don't understand about how the legal system works,
00:12:35.340but it's a very common tactic that's used by law enforcement.
00:12:38.800So the Constitution only bans the government from engaging in unlawful searches and seizures.
00:12:43.800If the government randomly breaks down your door on a hunch,
00:12:47.820then it doesn't matter if they find incriminating evidence inside your house.
00:12:51.520All of it will be thrown out in court if they don't have a warrant.
00:12:53.960On the other hand, if a random guy breaks into your house and finds, say, a stash of drugs, he's allowed to tell the police about it, and the police can then get a search warrant and raid your house based on that illegally obtained information, and everything they find in your house will then be admissible in court.
00:25:32.040Even though literally every single time something like this has happened this century, it has been a hoax.
00:25:39.420Anytime there's a noose or racist graffiti or a burning cross or like a racist note left on somebody's car or on a receipt at a restaurant, 100% of the time, it's either a black guy or a left-wing activist behind it.0.67
00:25:56.840But to this day, despite the absolute certainty that this burning cross was yet another hoax, the media plays it straight.
00:26:05.900Every major local media outlet in Chicago did this, by the way.
00:26:10.160Here's how the local ABC affiliate covered the story.
00:26:12.660While the motive behind the burning cross was not immediately clear,
00:26:16.260cross burnings in the U.S. have historically been seen as symbols of hate
00:26:20.000that are inextricably intertwined with the history of the Ku Klux Klan,
00:26:23.380according to a 2003 U.S. Supreme Court decision written by the late Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
00:26:28.060The justices ruled that the First Amendment allows bans on cross burnings
00:26:31.180only when they're intended to intimidate because the action is a particularly virulent
00:26:34.520form of intimidation. 22-year-old Aliana Carlton said she never thought she would see something
00:26:40.240like that in her lifetime. It kind of really opened my eyes, had me realize that I'm not
00:26:44.280that far removed from the past. Again, the assumption is that the KKK is alive and well
00:26:50.500in Chicago. That's certainly how the socialists in Chicago viewed the story. It is MAGA country,
00:26:57.180after all, as we learned from Jussie Smollett. The Socialist Alternative newsletter, which used
00:27:03.320the cross burning to recruit new members. Quote, on June 9th, just 10 days before Juneteenth,
00:27:10.840a burning cross was discovered in Chicago's Grant Park. Cross burnings in the U.S. have been symbols
00:27:15.200of racism or supremacy ever since the Ku Klux Klan's campaign of terror in the early 20th
00:27:19.940century. There's no reason to think the cross burning in Chicago has any other intent. This
00:27:24.260disgusting act comes just six weeks after the Supreme Court gutted what remained of the 1965
00:27:29.000Voting Rights Act. This cannot have failed to boost the confidence of violent elements of the
00:27:33.480extreme far right. Imagine the audacity to hoist a burning cross at the center of Chicago in broad
00:27:38.700daylight. The cross burning in downtown Chicago is a terrifying reminder that racism remains a
00:27:43.660threat as long as capitalism exists, as do all forms of oppression. We want to dismantle systems
00:27:49.200of oppression and police brutality, end attacks on immigrants and transgender folks, prevent union
00:27:55.020busting and stop environmental destruction. We need an organized mass revolutionary movement
00:27:59.860against their common root, capitalism. Oh, yes, because we know that before modern capitalism,
00:28:07.420nobody was racist. Nobody except everybody. Before, you know, the modern free market
00:28:16.400capitalism in the West, racism didn't exist, except for it existed literally everywhere.

00:28:53.840um well anyway fast forward a couple of days and whoops turns out that the cross burning was not0.94
00:29:02.220in fact committed by a maga white supremacist instead the fire was set by a gay asian left-wing0.97
00:29:08.160college student who wanted to make a point about how racist the republicans are and no0.98
00:29:14.320I'm not making any of that up. Watch until right now, the young shirtless man running from a burning cross in Grant Park was a nameless person of interest in a Chicago police arson investigation and subject of a possible FBI hate crime case.
00:29:30.540NBC 5 Investigates has now interviewed the man who admits burning the cross.
00:29:35.740University of Illinois Chicago senior Merlin Liu says he knew the implications of a burning cross
00:29:41.500and had placed a MAGA hat atop the cross,
00:29:44.940explaining his motivation was to protest Trump administration injustice, not something racist.
00:29:55.980I wanted to, I wanted to find something that I could do by myself, like no organization, no friends, no, I did know about this, this historical relevance beforehand, but I didn't know the severity, how, how racially motivated it may seem from what, from what I did.
00:30:19.640I put a red hat to signify the MAGA hat, the Make America Great Again hat.
00:30:25.140So that was, yeah, that's what I tied on top.
00:30:28.220But that's not visible in the one video that was taken by a motorist.
00:30:32.460Lou says he was protesting what he calls MAGA Christian nationalist supporters
00:30:36.960and the Trump administration ruling class.
00:30:39.740We're just scamming people. We're just scamming out of money, right?
00:30:42.740And I think that's a great reflection of how this country works right now,
00:32:07.040And this was the result that we all, this is 100%.
00:32:09.540I mean, if you don't know by now with 100% certainty,
00:32:13.300if you didn't already predict this ending1.00
00:32:15.740Before we showed you that clip, then you're too stupid to even breathe.1.00
00:32:21.560I don't know how you get out of bed in the morning.1.00
00:32:23.820And he's obviously lying about not knowing anything about cross-burning.
00:32:27.700His motive was the same motive we've seen hundreds of times at this point, including in Chicago.
00:32:34.460So he can become an epicenter of really obvious hate crime hoaxes.
00:32:39.000He wanted to frame Trump supporters and Christians as white supremacists.
00:32:41.860As the AP reports, quote, the man interviewed by the TV station said he was protesting the ruling class and Christian nationalists who support Trump.
00:32:50.880Said he put a red hat on the cross to signify a MAGA hat worn by the president's allies.
00:32:57.520But there was something else the AP reported, too, which didn't seem like it could possibly be real.
00:33:01.940Well, the AP added that even after Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson had seen this Asian guy's confession on television, he still acted as if the black community had been horribly victimized in some way.0.73
00:33:17.420In other words, even after everybody knew, even though we all knew ahead of time, beyond any doubt that this was a race hoax, Brandon Johnson stuck to the script, as they always do.
00:33:26.680But I had to go verify this for myself. And indeed, it's very true. Brandon Johnson kept pushing this race hoax even after it collapsed on live television, even after he had an Asian guy saying, oh, no, I was going after conservative Republicans. He still kept going with it. Watch.0.98
00:33:43.580it's at a time in which this country has demonstrated its0.94
00:33:52.840proclivity to cause harm on people and particularly black americans
00:34:02.480that symbol of hatred is one that we must continue to reject and i wholeheartedly reject it
00:34:11.120I can't speak to anyone's motives. We can only speak to the impact. And the impact was devastating. And so the investigation that is surrounding this cross burning and this evil symbol of hatred, I fully expect that the investigation will unfold.
00:34:33.260and whatever consequences that come out of this investigation,
00:34:37.840I hope it matches the level of not just discomfort, but pain that it caused.
00:35:00.320finally, finally, finally a real one. It was the greatest day of his life when someone told him
00:35:07.200there's a burning cross. And he said, really? For real? Yes. And then it turns out I was an
00:35:14.800Asian guy and he was so sad. It was the worst day of his life. But he's not going to let go of the
00:35:20.940narrative. He says, I can't speak to anyone's motives. We can only speak to the impact. And
00:35:24.720the impact was devastating. Well, actually, you can speak to somebody's motives. The guy who did
00:35:32.460it can speak to his motives, and he did. He told us. He told us why he did it. He wasn't trying to
00:35:37.300harm black Americans, nor did he actually harm black Americans. If he hurt anyone, it was the0.78
00:35:43.560people that he was trying to target, which are white people. All of the local news stations in
00:35:49.200the city ran the fake story that white supremacists are burning crosses to terrorize black people.0.99
00:35:54.120It's the kind of story that could easily motivate a black supremacist to start mowing down white people.0.99
00:35:59.960I remember the mass shooting in Dallas back in 2016 when a black supremacist specifically targeted white police officers, killing several of them because he hated white people.0.99
00:36:08.380He was on a suicide mission to kill as many white people as he possibly could.0.99
00:36:12.160The police had to use a robot equipped with a bomb to blow him up.0.99
00:36:16.160That same year, a black separatist named Gavin Long, furious about a fake BLM narrative, shot six police officers in Louisiana, killing four of them.0.77
00:36:24.120There were several more similar shootings and stabbings in that period, and in the years since, of course, all motivated by anti-white hatred.
00:36:32.060So this is not some academic point. Democrats promote false narratives of white supremacy because they want to see more white people get murdered.0.92
00:36:41.320Now, the SPLC is presumably too busy getting investigated and having, you know, having sex with Nazis to assist in that mission, at least for the moment.0.98
00:36:50.580But the SPLC is just one propaganda outfit among many on the left, all of which have the exact same goal.
00:36:57.380When one falls, the others pick up the slack.
00:37:00.400When their narrative is exposed as fraudulent, they just keep pushing it as if nothing happened.
00:37:05.640And the media will go along with it every single time, from the national networks to the local news stations.
00:37:11.480We are up against people who are so fixated on the elimination of their political enemies
00:37:16.140that they've lost all sense of self-awareness and shame,
00:37:46.860People can't possibly have patience for this kind of overt, shameless lying anymore.
00:37:52.300And with just a few months until some very important elections in this country and a rare bit of good news for conservatives, that's a very good place for us to be.
00:38:03.740That will do it for the show today and this week.
