00:00:30.000Now, I admit that over the years, I may have engaged in hyperbole from time to time.
00:00:35.740I'm not going to say that I've committed the worst hyperbole of all time.
00:00:39.000That would be hyperbolic, but may have exaggerated for effect on occasion.
00:00:42.960And so when I declare that somebody is quite possibly the worst leader of a city in the entire history of this country and possibly in the history of every other country, you may think this is one of those occasions of hyperbole.
00:00:55.640Indeed, the competition for the worst mayor title is so fierce, especially in recent years, and there are so many esteemed nominees for the award, the Ugandan guy in charge of New York City right now being one of them, that it seems impossible to pick one specific winner.
00:01:10.480And yet, in spite of the stiff competition and the valiant efforts by guys like Mamdani to claim the title for themselves, I still believe that the current mayor of Chicago, a bloated clown named Brandon Johnson, may, when all is said and done, go down as the worst mayor in the history of mayordom.
00:01:31.480And he is legendarily dreadful in ways that make him the perfect representation, a mascot, really, of what has become of the Democrat Party.
00:01:40.820And of all of Brandon's colossally clownish moments, perhaps his worst came just this past week.
00:01:48.340I'm going to read what he posted on Sunday. And as I do, keep in mind that this post was written and then published on X on the heels of a weekend where six people were murdered in Chicago.
00:02:13.960For too many transgender Chicagoans, the sense of belonging they deserve in their city has been denied by exclusion and barriers to opportunity in spaces that should feel safe and welcoming.
00:02:24.520Since declaring a trans-femicide state of emergency, our administration has strengthened the city's capacity to support LGBTQ plus Chicagoans.
00:02:34.100This framework builds on that work by centering on the voices and lived experiences of trans-Chicagoans to chart a path toward a safer, more connected city.
00:04:40.360The phrasing words like, you know, whereas and I do hereby order make it sound like some sort of magisterial decree.
00:04:50.440But then everything in between those words, trans, femicide, Latin, gender identity, make it sound like the ramblings of a purple haired 21 year old gender studies major with a personality disorder.
00:05:01.240And in that way, it perfectly captures Brandon Johnson's vibe and the vibe of the party he represents.
00:05:07.200So, according to this emergency declaration, they're very concerned about trans femicide, but in particular, they're concerned about trans femicide that's motivated by trans misogyny.
00:05:19.720And to get even more particular, they're especially worried about trans femicide that's motivated by trans misogyny and that impacts a person of color, a Latine, not to be confused with a Latrine, an indigenous person or a black person.
00:05:37.080Now, if you're genocided and it was trans-femicide, but not trans-misogyny, then you go to the back of the line.
00:05:45.080I mean, we're still worried about you a little bit, but we'll get to you.
00:05:49.160But don't even bother complaining about getting trans-genocided if you're white.
00:05:53.380I mean, that would just be ridiculous, no matter how misogynistic your attacker was.
00:05:57.000All of this may seem incoherent and or redundant to you, but rest assured, it all makes perfect sense.
00:06:02.840And it's all vitally necessary, according to Brandon, because, and I quote,
00:06:06.120Chicago is the deadliest city in the nation for black trans women. Urgent measures are needed in
00:06:12.680response to this epidemic of violence. Working groups must be established. Emergency declarations
00:06:17.860must be issued. Somebody turn on the bat signal. We need reinforcements. But wait a minute, you
00:06:23.740might ask. What exactly does it mean to be the deadliest city in the nation for black trans women?
00:06:30.800If you've been following the show for a while, you know that trans-identified individuals have
00:06:35.000a much lower risk of being murdered on a per capita basis than nearly every other demographic
00:06:39.740group in the country. They have a much higher risk of suicide because they're in a constant state of
00:06:44.380war with their own biology. They're also a much greater threat to the public than the average
00:06:48.420person for the same reason. But in terms of being murdered themselves, trans-identified individuals
00:06:55.240are far safer on average than, say, straight white men. So how can there be a trans-femicide
00:07:02.160emergency anywhere, much less in the Democrat stronghold of Chicago. How many, quote, black
00:07:09.140trans women are dying exactly in order to make Chicago the deadliest city in America for that
00:07:15.160group? Does it, does it turn out that Chicago actually is MAGA country after all? Have we all
00:07:21.560been giving Jussie Smollett a hard time unjustifiably? Do we owe him an apology? Well,
00:07:26.380let's take a look. In fact, let's try this as a pop quiz just for fun. Next time you're at
00:07:32.880trivia night at the pub, in case this comes up, now you'll know. Can you guess how many
00:07:39.960trans-identified people of any kind, not just black, were murdered in Chicago last year?
00:07:47.580Now, this is a city where more than 400 homicides took place in 2025. Given that baseline and given
00:07:54.180that we're talking about a black trans femme genocide here, what's your best guess? In fact,
00:08:00.680let's extend this out to the entire state. How many trans identified people of any race do you
00:08:06.200think were murdered in Chicago or anywhere else in the state of Illinois in the entire year of 2025?
00:08:13.540What do you think? I mean, this is a genocide, remember? A state of emergency. The mayor has
00:08:19.280made a task force to deal with it. So what's the number? How many dozens or hundreds of trans
00:08:26.200identified individuals have lost their lives in this wanton slaughter? 200, 150, 75? Surely it
00:08:36.660must at least be 50. 25 at a bare minimum, right? I mean, it's got to be. Well, as it happens after
00:08:42.300looking into it, the answer is zero. Zero trans identified people were murdered in the city of
00:08:50.580Chicago or anywhere else in the state in 2025. And by extension, zero black quote unquote trans
00:08:59.720women were murdered in the city of Chicago in 2025. Yes, the city of Chicago has declared a
00:09:05.360state of emergency over a genocide of so-called trans people in which zero of those people were
00:09:11.600murdered. So this is the first genocide in history to kill zero people. If you're going to be
00:09:19.500targeted by a genocide, that's a pretty good one. Of all the genocides that have actually happened
00:09:23.980in history, if you have to choose one to be the target of, like, this is the best one you could
00:09:30.760hope for. Like, I'll take the genocide where nobody is killed. I'll take that one. And, you know,
00:09:39.720I can make that determination because after scouring the public databases of the left-wing activist groups HRC and the Trans Remembrance Project, both of which extensively track the deaths of trans-identified individuals, there is not a single fatality listed in the entire state of Illinois for the past year.
00:09:59.120And believe me, if somebody identified as trans had died in Illinois for any reason, if they died in a car accident or like slipped on a banana peel and hit their head, these websites would have posted about it.
00:10:12.480OK, in order to secure donations, both the HRC and the Trans Remembrance Project go out of their way to document every trans fatality they can find.
00:10:21.900even though in every case the fatalities have one of four causes either it's a suicide or it was a
00:10:29.360random killing that had nothing to do with the person identified being identified as trans or
00:10:33.940it was a murder by a black guy who hired a prostitute and was furious to discover that
00:10:38.600she was really a he or it was a death due to natural causes that's it okay they don't have
00:10:44.760a single case on their website that actually supports this fantasy of a trans genocide at
00:10:51.140the hands of white supremacist neo-Nazis. I mean, as the stats clearly show, and this is undeniable,
00:10:58.440a trans person is an order of magnitude more likely to kill a white Christian than to be
00:11:05.080killed by a white Christian. Because the latter basically never happens anywhere in the country
00:11:12.080at all. Sorry, investing, trading, that isn't a personality. You don't need the voice. You don't
00:11:20.680need the jargon. You don't need the podcast. You already know how to trade. You've done it your
00:11:26.100whole life. And TD Easy Trade taps into that instinct so you can build something real. No
00:11:32.020minimums, no monthly fees, 24-hour support, no investor personality required. Because you are
00:11:39.200made to trade. And TD Easy Trade is made to help. Download it now. Now this is a point worth
00:11:45.540belaboring because it's both very dark and honestly kind of morbidly amusing at some
00:11:50.120level. So we'll start with the latest database of trans fatalities from the Trans Remembrance
00:11:55.520Project, which runs from November 1st, 2024 to October 31st, 2025. And they report that in total,
00:12:02.920there were just 58 deaths of trans identified people in that one year period. And of those
00:12:08.72058 deaths, 21 were suicides and 27 were violent deaths. Now, if you're up on your math, you might
00:12:17.260realize that 21 and 27 don't add up to 58. That's because 10 of those deaths had nothing to do with
00:12:25.120anything. They were natural deaths. The person just dropped dead from cancer or something like
00:12:30.740that. And I'm not kidding. They include deaths of old age and cancer in their tally of 58 deaths
00:12:38.140of trans-identified people. That's how desperate they are to inflate the numbers. They're trying
00:12:42.460to make the case that there's a genocide. And so they include in their figures people who died of
00:12:48.820heart disease. That's how fundamentally dishonest these people are, which is no surprise, of course.
00:12:56.560And one of those fatalities is Eli Stabline, 49 of Tucson, who, quote, passed away after a long
00:13:04.700battle with kidney cancer. I guess the kidney cancer was transphobic. But just think of how
00:13:11.280absurd all of this is at the outset. The people talking about a transgenocide are aware of only
00:13:18.52027 violent deaths in total involving trans-identified victims. That's 27 people who
00:13:25.480were killed in the entire country in an entire year in a population of over 340 million people.
00:13:31.540Now, according to an estimate from UCLA, there are 2.8 million Americans over the age of 13 who identify as some classification of trans.
00:13:40.140So with just 27 homicides per year, that comes out to a per capita murder rate of 0.96 per 100,000.
00:13:48.820For comparison, the homicide rate for black men in the U.S. is 46 per 100,000.
00:13:59.620For black women, it's 7.8. For white women, it's 1.9. The only demographic group in the country
00:14:06.000with a lower per capita murder rate than trans identified individuals is Asian women at 0.5
00:14:12.840per 100,000. That's it. Everybody else is getting genocided at a far higher rate. So if there's a
00:14:22.160genocide of trans people with a 0.96 per 100,000 murder rate, then the genocide of white men is
00:14:32.840unfathomably worse statistically. But the statistics get even worse for the trans activists
00:14:39.360when you look at how precisely these people are supposedly getting genocided. And this is something
00:14:45.980that they really don't want you to do, so I'm going to do it. Here's one trans-identified
00:14:50.980individual on the list, a man dressing as a woman and using the name Camorra Woods,
00:14:56.300who you can see right there. Note that this person was not killed in Chicago because, again,
00:15:00.840no trans people were killed in Chicago last year. This story comes from Indianapolis, which is
00:15:06.300close enough, I suppose. Now, according to the Trans Remembrance Project, Camorra Woods, quote,
00:15:11.380loved animals and making people laugh. She had a big heart, lit up the room around her,
00:15:15.540and was proud of who she was as a transgender woman. Of course, air quotes around her and she,
00:15:22.080needless to say. So there's not much information there as to how exactly poor Kimura met his
00:15:29.560violent end. And that's odd, given that the whole point of this project is to expose
00:15:33.940a transgenocide. You'd think a lot of details would be forthcoming to expose the
00:15:37.880white supremacist menace, but they don't include any details at all. So I went looking for them
00:15:43.620And I discovered to my shock the following information from the local Fox affiliate, quote, Woods was found half naked in her bedroom, shot in the head.
00:15:51.700Court documents detail how a detective identified a suspect by using a fingerprint on a condom wrapper selected at the scene and matched 23-year-old James Wallace, a convicted felon, with an active warrant for allegedly tampering with his GPS monitor in November.
00:16:05.800A security video from the Scarborough Lake Apartments showed a woman getting out of Woods' car and entering her building at 2.14 p.m. on June 25th.
00:16:13.880According to court documents, at 2.41, another vehicle entered the property, later discovered to be a Lyft ride, and dropped off a man believed to be Wallace.
00:16:21.360But only 17 minutes after the man was seen entering the building, he walked back out and left the complex alone.
00:16:27.500Documents said that Wallace told police he knew Woods from local bars and clubs and found her contact information online.
00:16:33.760Investigators said Wallace had also pawned the victim's cell phone.
00:16:37.680When they brought him in for questioning, he said that he didn't want her to call for help.
00:16:42.000He denied knowing Woods was transgender.
00:16:45.840Now, hearing this, we all know what James Wallace looks like, but in case there's any doubt, here you go.
00:16:53.800This is why they don't provide any details about any of the people who are actually committing this so-called genocide, transgenocide, that doesn't exist.
00:17:02.460In the rare cases where it's a legitimate murder as opposed to an accident, trans-identified victims are prostitutes who are getting killed by black men.
00:17:11.920And those black men are usually upset to discover that the prostitute is actually a man and not a woman as advertised, and so they start shooting and stabbing.
00:17:20.960And in some cases, they start robbing, too, although that was probably the plan all along, regardless of whether the prostitute was secretly a man or not.
00:17:27.480Well, let's not get hung up on the details.
00:17:30.100And this is the part you're not supposed to say out loud.
00:17:32.460If we actually arrested all of the people, what few of them exist, who are committing this fake transgenocide that the left is always talking about, we'd be arresting black men and basically only black men.
00:17:46.540And the more the left blames Donald Trump's rhetoric and transphobia, the more obvious it becomes that they want you to ignore this very obvious fact.
00:17:54.760Kamala Harris voters are killing people constantly and occasionally a trans-identified person is
00:18:00.060thrown into the mix in the name of diversity. I mean, diversity is our strength after all.
00:18:07.280And more importantly, to the extent that trans-identified people are getting murdered and
00:18:10.260you know, it's happening very, very rarely, they're not being hunted down because they
00:18:14.860identify as trans. They're being killed in domestic disputes by people they've allowed
00:18:18.200into their homes, often under false pretenses, which is the exact opposite of a genocide. And
00:18:22.560a genocide or a trans femicide, a group of people is exterminated because of some identifiable
00:18:28.380characteristic in a systematic fashion. What's happening to the two dozen or so trans-identified
00:18:34.140murder victims is not remotely systematic. They're basically very unlucky people from a statistical
00:18:40.360perspective. And more often than not, they're inviting their killers into their homes in order
00:18:45.660to have sex with them for money. And usually they're lying about their gender. This is one
00:18:52.320of the most dangerous professions imaginable and you're making it considerably more dangerous for
00:18:58.040yourself by lying to your customers who are going to be understandably upset when they discover the
00:19:05.600truth about the situation. Consider the very similar case of Tahiri Broom, 29 years old of
00:19:12.300Southfield, Michigan. He's also on the trans remembrance list. Watch this news report and see
00:19:18.060what you notice. It's been four days since the family of Tahiri Broom, who also went by Tokyo,
00:19:23.660learned about her brutal murder while visiting Michigan. It's really like my whole family in
00:19:28.660like an uproar. It's like one of those things, like you don't know what to feel. You want to be
00:19:33.340angry, you want to be sad, you want to cry, you want to scream, you want to do. It's a big ball
00:19:37.880of emotion. Even after the arrest of the person police believe is responsible Robert Ridges III,
00:19:44.560There are still a lot of questions going through her aunt Patricia Bender's mind.
00:19:49.640But you just want to know why. Like, why did you do that?
00:19:51.500Why do you feel like she deserved for that to happen?
00:19:55.240You know, and then that way and that magnitude.
00:19:58.120Being that they caught him, that brought some peace.
00:20:02.720But it's like, it don't take away the pain.
00:20:05.160Bender says her niece loved making people laugh, was full of energy, confidence, and loved Nicki Minaj.
00:20:11.440Funny, smart, like one of those people that could walk into the darkest room and find some light in it.
00:20:18.820She's hoping people see Broom in that bright light instead of focusing on what she did for work.
00:20:24.300It doesn't mean that that person was a bad person. She was never a bad person.
00:20:28.380Southfield police say they haven't ruled out the possibility that Broom was targeted.
00:20:33.080The suspect made 33 calls to sex workers, including black transgender women like Broom.
00:20:38.760He knew. I believe it was possibly maybe even a motive of a robbery as well, because when he was interviewed, it turned out he didn't have any money.
00:20:48.840So, you know, how is he going to pay for services, if you will? And so, but he's carrying a handgun.
00:20:55.120So they all use the man's fake pronouns to pretend he was a woman.
00:20:58.480And to keep the illusion going, the news station also goes out of its way to hide relevant details from the audience.
00:21:03.640In that entire segment, which runs for several minutes, they never get around to explaining the circumstances of the murder.
00:21:09.300They vaguely imply the victim was a prostitute, but they're not clear.
00:21:12.820And they certainly don't describe the potential motivation of Robert Ridges III, the 28-year-old black man that police arrested.
00:21:19.620So this is what I was able to glean by looking around for a bit.
00:21:22.520This is from the local prosecutor's website.
00:21:24.380quote, Oakland County Prosecutor Karen D. McDonald charged Robert Ridges III, a 28-year-old
00:21:30.340residence of Southfield, with second-degree murder carrying concealed weapons and weapons
00:21:34.280felony firearm in the death of Tahiri Broom, a 29-year-old transgender woman and sex worker.
00:21:39.880The victim's name given at birth had been Jamal Broom. Ridges met Broom through a commercial sex
00:21:45.240advertisement, and the two met up February 9 near Ridges' apartment. In Southfield, following an
00:21:50.420argument, Ridges is alleged to have shot Broome. Now, again, we can all piece together what
00:21:55.560happened here. This is the kind of homicide that, according to the mayor of Chicago, constitutes a
00:22:00.080state of emergency. Never mind the fact that precisely zero homicides like this have even
00:22:05.220occurred in this city in the past year. Never mind the fact that every weekend, dozens of people are
00:22:09.940shot, mostly in black-on-black shootings, on the streets of Chicago. According to the mayor of
00:22:14.740Chicago, the real emergency is that black men are killing black prostitutes when they discover
00:22:20.220that those black prostitutes are really also black men. Now, the rest of this list, I have to say,
00:22:26.260is really pushing it. Here's one example of a violent death of a trans person, for example.
00:22:32.280This is a man using the name Blair Sawyer. According to the Trans Remembrance Project,
00:22:37.180Sawyer died violently and was someone who loved dragons and bike riding. What they don't tell you
00:22:43.620is that Sawyer was run over while he was riding his bike. So this was clearly a random and
00:22:48.040unfortunate accident, the kind that happens every day to cyclists in this country. But according
00:22:53.500to trans activists, quote, until the driver is found and the details surrounding the accident
00:22:57.720or incident are clear, we can't assume that this was unrelated to Blair's identity. We don't know.
00:23:05.060Yes, they're categorizing this death as anti-trans violence because in their minds it's possible
00:23:09.700that the driver ran over this man because he could see from a mile away that he identified
00:23:15.080as trans. I mean, they have no basis for believing that whatsoever. There's no evidence to suggest
00:23:21.020that the driver could have seen any signs that this person identified as trans. But other than
00:23:29.060just like assuming that if someone's a cyclist, they must be gay or trans, which, you know, I mean,
00:23:34.200you could argue that that's an assumption you could make. But in the eyes of trans activists,
00:23:38.040whenever, you know, any trans identified person for any reason dies, the presumption is that MAGA
00:23:43.940transphobes are responsible. If a trans person got hit by a train, they would tell us that they
00:23:49.000can't rule out the possibility that the train conductor was a transphobe. This is how they
00:23:55.500think, and it's how the mayor of Chicago thinks as well. They also list somebody named Katoria
00:24:00.840Banks, with a Z, I'm sure that was his Christian name, on their list of trans-identified people
00:24:06.860who violently died without mentioning that Banks and his brother were shot during an attempted
00:24:10.800carjacking in Atlanta. Again, no indication that the carjackers were looking for cars owned by gay
00:24:16.740or trans people. But because a violent act happened to a person who identifies as trans,
00:24:21.740they claim it was a targeted attack. And they include it in their statistics.
00:24:27.020Now, none of this is new. Just a few years ago, the Biden White House publicly mourned the death
00:24:30.860of an indigenous, queer, non-binary environmental activist known as Tortugita, whose real name is
00:24:37.820Manuel Tehran. And according to HRC, Tortuguita was, quote, shot and killed by Georgia state
00:24:51.660troopers in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 18th, 2023, during an ongoing protest alongside other
00:24:56.460self-described forest defenders protesting against a proposed $90 million, 85-acre police training
00:25:03.360facility deemed cop city by activists slated to be built in the South River in Atlanta. On the
00:25:10.660morning of the 18th, police were executing a raid of the camp to knock down structures and
00:25:16.140remove the protesters. During this process, a state trooper was shot and wounded and Tortue
00:25:21.420was killed. Now, you can go look up that paragraph right now on the HRC website. It's still there.
00:25:26.080Again, as you probably noticed, they're short on the details. Instead of explaining why this guy
00:25:30.740was shot, they write, quote, Tortue's death is at least the seventh violent killing of a trans or
00:25:36.540gender non-conforming person in 2023 and the second in Georgia in six weeks. Now, what's
00:25:43.300admitted is that Tortue fired four times at police officers with his nine millimeter pistol,
00:25:49.640striking a Georgia state trooper. Yes, he shot a police officer and they simply don't mention that.
00:25:56.360That's how flagrantly these people are willing to lie in order to cook the numbers.
00:26:00.740on this fake genocide. Now, meanwhile, Brandon has, you might think, bigger problems to worry
00:26:09.440about. Now, of course, literally any problem is bigger than the transgenocide, given that the
00:26:14.800transgenocide doesn't exist. The potholes all over the city are a bigger problem than trans
00:26:21.960people being murdered. In fact, they're a significantly bigger problem. The potholes
00:26:25.840on just one stretch of road are so bad that CBS News Chicago did a whole report on them
00:26:30.080a couple of months ago. Residents of the city have complained about the road for years. They
00:26:34.460have trouble getting to work because their cars get damaged. It's dangerous. It's a total state
00:26:39.440of disrepair. And yet Brandon can't even fix that problem and doesn't care to. He's also about to
00:26:46.140lose the city's football team, which is preparing to relocate its stadium to Indiana, which it
00:26:51.880cannot be overstated as a massive financial loss for the community that will surely prove disastrous
00:26:57.860for many local businesses. These are the kinds of problems that the mayor is supposed to solve,
00:27:04.980but Brandon Johnson doesn't think about them. Much less does he worry about the 40-plus
00:27:09.820shootings that commemorated Juneteenth weekend. The city is hemorrhaging rich people and corporations,
00:27:15.580including Ken Griffin, who fled Chicago due to the violence and took his hedge fund with him.
00:27:20.760But Brandon is focused on his reparations task force instead, and on his delusional idea that
00:27:26.520you can't arrest your way to public safety,
00:27:29.080even as his personal armed security detail
00:27:31.180costs $30 million a year for the taxpayer.
00:27:34.080He said that if you use the term illegal aliens,
00:27:36.880then you also think black people should be called slaves,
00:27:54.440well listen the legal term for my people were slaves you want me to use that term too
00:27:59.100so look let's just get the language right we're talking about undocumented individuals
00:28:03.620that are human beings the last thing that i'm going to do is accept the type of racist
00:28:08.760nasty language to describe human beings yes we absolutely want to refer to black people as slaves
00:28:16.360if you're talking about black people who are indeed slaves and there are quite a few black
00:28:20.600slaves today, most of whom are in Africa. It's completely appropriate to use an accurate
00:28:26.300description of a person's legal status. It's not even an endorsement of that status, obviously.
00:28:32.340And by extension, yes, it is completely appropriate to use the term illegal alien,
00:28:38.460which he thinks is a sci-fi term because he's illiterate. This is one of those idiotic
00:28:43.460expressions you see on lawn signs, no person is illegal. And then they'll say you have to
00:28:47.880call them undocumented. But if a person can't be illegal, then how can a person be undocumented?
00:28:53.840That doesn't make sense. It's incoherent and dumb. So we should keep saying what's true,
00:29:00.080which is that illegal aliens, illegal aliens don't belong in this country. That just happens to be
00:29:04.800the case. And we should also keep mocking Brandon Johnson, especially because
00:29:09.400of his comments on the so-called sub-minimum wage. Watch.
00:29:13.860We passed pay time off. Yes, we've abolished the subminimum wage that has its vestiges tied to slavery and black and brown women being forced to make ends meet off of less than thirty five thousand dollars a year.
00:29:26.060That's an injustice. Now, what he's saying isn't even true.
00:29:29.520There's no subminimum wage. If a tipped worker doesn't make the minimum wage after tips, which is rare, then the employer is obligated to make up the difference.
00:29:39.280And, you know, that wasn't the case during slavery or in the immediate aftermath of slavery.
00:29:53.640But that's a livable salary and you're certainly not a slave because you're getting paid and you're choosing to do this work.
00:30:01.020And since we're doing a Brandon Johnson Greatest Hits episode now, I guess we can't forget that Johnson also blamed the constant shootings in Chicago on Richard Nixon.
00:30:36.620I'm going to work hard every day to transform this city.
00:30:38.840That's what it takes to build a better, stronger, safer Chicago and everybody to step up.
00:30:42.820Maybe he's actually making the based right wing argument here and we've got Brandon all wrong.
00:30:47.360Maybe he's coming out against Nixon's efforts to desegregate the schools and urban centers in the country, saying, you know, it led to the current violence that we're seeing in cities like Chicago.
00:30:58.700Brandon is so dumb that it's hard to tell.
00:31:01.280It's more likely that he's referring to the fact that Nixon actually tried to enforce the law against violent mobs.
00:31:08.840And here's one more for good measure. This is from that cross-burning episode we discussed last week.
00:31:13.680Even when a reporter tells Brandon that a gay Asian leftist burned the cross in a park in order to make a grand demonstration of how racist MAGA Republicans are, Brandon is not faced.
00:31:23.820He continues to act like the cross was indeed burned by a MAGA white supremacist, and he talks about how black people are still victimized to this day. Watch.
00:31:35.080Merlin Liu, who was interviewed by NBC5, who admitted to allegedly burning the cross in Grant Park.
00:31:41.140During that interview, he seemed to lack an understanding of the meaning behind burning a cross and the implications of that.
00:31:49.100How concerning is that to you as mayor, obviously, of a city with a predominantly black population?
00:31:59.640And do you think there needs to be more education around that?
00:32:02.700Well, look, I can't speak to his lack of or understanding of the gravity of what he is alleged of having done.
00:32:15.460And, you know, again, it's a painful reminder of how hatred towards black Americans still permeates, you know, in our society.
00:32:27.060In case you're wondering how people in Chicago tolerate this, the answer is that they've given up at this point.
00:32:33.420Johnson has a 7% approval rating. Yes, a 7% approval rating, which is the lowest ever recorded for any mayor of Chicago by far.
00:32:44.020Lori Lightfoot, who had both the look and leadership skills of Beetlejuice, only went as low as 27%.
00:32:50.400This is from M3 Strategies, which ran the poll, quote,
00:32:53.38079.9% of voters disapprove of Johnson, with just 6.6% holding a favorable view, a net favorability of negative 73%.
00:33:03.48067% say crime is Chicago's biggest issue, outpacing high taxes and inflation.
00:33:09.800Issues like LGBTQ plus rights, 3%, and reproductive freedoms, 4%, rank among the lowest priorities.
00:33:19.000So the mayor, seeing that nobody in Chicago cares about LGBT issues, decides to declare a state of emergency over a non-existent trans femicide, even though trans identified people are the only people who aren't getting shot to death in his city.
00:34:04.300It's an online marketplace where you compare quotes from top America's top insurers side by side for free coverage amounts, price terms, all laid out clearly.
00:34:13.240No guesswork, no spin. Their licensed team handles the paperwork, answers your questions and advocates for you throughout the entire process so they can give you the right policy at the most affordable price.
00:34:23.240Protecting your family financially isn't optional. It's a moral obligation with thousands of five star reviews on Google and Trustpilot.
00:34:29.440People are finding great policies and checking this off their list for good.
00:34:33.180Get it done in minutes and get back to your summer with PolicyGenius.
00:35:05.400At Grand Canyon University, students are prepared for that journey through academically rigorous programs designed to help them grow professionally, personally, and spiritually.
00:35:13.540While many universities are raising costs, GCU has kept tuition rates steady on a traditional campus for 17 years, honoring their commitment to making higher education more affordable and accessible.
00:36:10.860Now, what's important to understand through all of this utter stupidity is that the problem is not limited to Brandon Johnson.
00:36:19.300He's fun to mock, and we should mock him.
00:36:22.100But Chicago's dysfunction will continue long after he's gone. Really, we need to look more broadly at the city of Chicago itself, which is basically the perfect manifestation of modern Democrat leadership in every conceivable way from the from the aesthetics, you know, all the way down.
00:36:39.420And there's no better illustration of that than the new temple to Barack Obama that we've talked about on the show before, but it just opened a couple of days ago on the south side. Watch.
00:36:50.760So when you walk inside the Obama Presidential Center, the first thing you see is toward
00:36:56.800a more perfect union, with a message from the president saying America has always been
00:37:42.380glorious task we are given to continually try to improve this great nation of ours.
00:37:49.160Now, there is no doubt there are some missing pieces here, but he does actually confront some
00:37:54.160of his challenges in ways more than I thought he would. This is one part of his legacy. But
00:37:59.580finally, this Obama Presidential Center is opening nearly 10 years after he left office.
00:38:06.060They love talking about the marches in Selma, but they really don't like talking about what
00:38:09.980Selma looks like today. I mean, that would be an interesting exhibit. Show people the cities where
00:38:15.540the civil rights movement was supposedly born, and then show people what they look like today.
00:38:21.320For full effect, the exhibit would occasionally have to fire random shots from a Glock handgun
00:38:26.540equipped with an illegal switch. Some people might die, but, you know, it's art, and art is the most
00:38:32.140important thing. Yes, it's extremely narcissistic, and yes, the building is an abomination, you know,
00:38:38.200as we've discussed. I mean, if the assignment was to make an aesthetically pleasing temple,
00:38:43.540then they failed a million times over. On the other hand, if the assignment was to perfectly
00:38:47.440capture the vibe of the Death Star's trash compactor, then they kind of nailed it. If the
00:38:54.360idea was to make a presidential library that looks a little bit like a tower where an evil wizard
00:38:58.900might live, then hey, credit where it's due. But really, this hideous building is Chicago in a
00:39:06.060nutshell. It's a grift in plain view, a way to launder money in exchange for influence via
00:39:10.760tax-deductible donations. It's an eyesore, a bureaucratic disaster all in one, and all in
00:39:18.380the service of worshiping a washed-up party leader who nobody even pretends to like anymore.
00:39:24.940Everything about the temple's opening ceremony was nauseating, as you might expect, starting
00:39:29.980with the land acknowledgement from a woman who's drawing a $750,000 salary from donations
00:39:37.020to this bride factory. Watch. We'd also like to take a moment to recognize the original inhabitants
00:39:45.200of the land upon which we are gathered today. We honor the Anishinaabe, the Council of Three Fires,
00:39:52.520the Ojibwe, the Odawa, and the Pottawanabe Nations. Now there's a lot to think about here,
00:39:58.080starting with the fact that the designers of Obama's temple, with consent of the city,
00:40:04.420seized 20 acres of public land in Jackson Park in order to build this monstrosity.
00:40:09.380So Democrats stole a lot of land in order to build a giant temple. And then when they build
00:40:14.760the temple with taxpayer assistance, they solemnly inform you that they're really sorry about
00:40:20.340stealing land hundreds of years ago. And by the way, this is the Chicago flag,
00:40:27.240which is flying at the Obama temple. And you'll notice that there are several stars on it. The
00:40:33.620fourth star commemorates Fort Dearborn, which was the site of a massacre involving the U.S.
00:40:40.300garrison and the Potawatomi, who were just honored during that land acknowledgement.
00:40:45.180Now, in August of 1812, hundreds of Potawatomi warriors rode alongside an American evacuation
00:40:50.220train leaving the fort, and they were claiming that they were an escort. But the escort quickly
00:40:57.140became an ambush as the Patawatomi attacked wagons containing women and children and ultimately
00:41:02.600massacred dozens of them. It was a horrific, savage, unjustifiable, unprovoked attack that
00:41:10.640was typical of how the Indians conducted themselves. And now the same tribe that conducted
00:41:15.760this barbaric attack, this massacre at a fort that's commemorated as a historical American
00:41:21.160settlement on the flag of Chicago is now being honored by the Obamas at their temple. You have
00:41:28.640to wonder why Obama and Valerie Jarrett didn't offer the temple to the Potawatomi. I mean, why
00:41:34.320not invite their descendants or the descendants of any of the other Indian tribes they mentioned
00:41:38.080up to the stage and hand them the keys to the temple? It's not like they don't exist. Plenty
00:41:44.080of people claim Patoatami heritage to this day. Why are we thanking them for massacring children
00:41:49.720back in 1812 when we can go all the way and give them an $800 million temple where they can
00:41:54.880kill as many children as they want? They can turn it into a Planned Parenthood if they want to.
00:42:02.540That would be appropriate for Obama. Why not let them do that? By the way, not to ruin the
00:42:07.740land acknowledgement mood with all this actual accurate history, but it should be noted that the
00:42:12.400Potawatomi were driven out of the area that is now Chicago in the 1600s. And they were not driven
00:42:19.760out by white people. The Iroquois, another native tribe, showed up and killed the Potawatomi,
00:42:26.860forcing them to leave. Because that's how things worked on this continent before Europeans took
00:42:31.780control of it. Indian tribes ruthlessly murdered each other and stole each other's land.
00:42:37.520So if anyone owes an apology to the Potawatomi, it's the Iroquois.
00:42:42.400take it up with them. And the Patawatomi owe an apology, apparently, to us for massacring
00:42:50.340white settlers. Nobody at the Obama temple is interested in any of this, of course.
00:42:57.500Instead, their primary concern appears to be plastering obscene images all over the place.
00:43:04.660It's not just outside. That's not just the appalling part. This is a scene from
00:43:09.840indoors. Take a look at this. Now, supposedly the splotch of blue on the roof consists of various
00:43:19.940words from Obama's speeches over the years. Nobody remembers any great Obama speeches because he
00:43:25.360didn't deliver any. So they just mashed them all together and splattered them on the wall.
00:43:30.300But really, if we're being absolutely honest here, and honesty is indeed the best policy,
00:43:34.780and you know speaking just from a purely medical standpoint it looks more like the view a
00:43:41.280veterinarian might have if she's inspecting a pig's anus now it's quite possible that pig's
00:43:47.880anuses are in vogue right now but if that's the case i'm certainly not aware of it and that's to
00:43:52.440say nothing of the narcissism involved in having your own speeches painted onto the walls i mean
00:43:59.260as somebody who's done a lot of writing myself over the years and delivered a lot of monologues
00:44:03.840a lot of speeches. I'm just trying to imagine how my wife would react if I suggested
00:44:09.320taking the text of my 10 best Matt Wall show monologues and covering the ceiling with them
00:44:16.720like some kind of schizophrenic Sistine Chapel. And considering that my monologues are significantly
00:44:22.760better and more interesting than any speech Obama has ever given, which is a bar so low that it's
00:44:27.600in hell, but still, I think I'd be more justified in that kind of self-celebration. And yet,
00:44:33.740it would still be a psychotic thing to do. And if my wife came home and I'm painting my own words
00:44:41.480on the ceiling, she would assume that my early onset dementia had finally taken a turn for the
00:44:46.440worse and immediately contacted a nursing home, and justifiably so. In any event, as we proceed
00:44:52.060through the museum, the exhibits somehow get even worse, if you can imagine. Watch.
00:44:57.440I think this is probably my favorite exhibit in the entire place. It just moves me.
00:45:07.100The last two times President Obama has come to Chicago and visited the museum,
00:45:12.360he has paused extra long in front of the exhibit that describes the 10 letters a day that he used
00:45:18.320to receive every day. He would receive thousands of pieces of correspondence on any given day
00:45:23.120and his correspondence unit would select 10 letters that were representative of the letters
00:45:28.720that came in that day. Some were very positive, some were very negative. The issues vary depending
00:45:34.060upon the day but they would pick out this representative sample and then in the evening
00:45:38.760as he was doing his work he would pull out the letters and take a look at them. He wanted to
00:45:44.040read those letters because he always wanted to connect to the American people. He wanted them
00:45:48.480to know that he saw them, that he understood their plight, and that he would offer his words
00:45:53.500of wisdom to them. Some of these letters make me cry still. So each time he's paused to reread
00:45:59.880the letters which he remembers from when they first came in, and to look at this beautiful film
00:46:05.320that narrates the letters and his responses. The two times he's watched it, he's walked away and
00:46:11.520he says, gets to me every time. And that's how he felt every night when he read the letters from
00:46:16.460the American people. Now, at some point, I understand that you're talking about a presidential
00:46:22.000temple. So it's going to be a little bit of an ego stroking session for the president
00:46:25.820that comes with the territory. But even with that standard in mind, this is pretty over the top.
00:46:32.540First of all, nobody believes that Barack actually read, much less responded to 10 letters a day from
00:46:38.600random people. The odds of that happening are zero percent, which is why thousands of people
00:46:43.580aren't posting their Obama letters all over the Internet. It never happened. It's insulting to
00:46:49.460pretend otherwise. And the whole exhibit is embarrassing. But the worst part is that Valerie
00:46:54.820Jarrett says, and I quote, he wanted to read those letters because he always wanted to connect with
00:46:59.500the American people. He wanted them to understand that he would offer his words of wisdom to them.
00:47:04.900imagine writing into the white house complaining about how terribly everything's going and
00:47:09.720then obama writes you back acting like he's doing you a favor and imparting his words of wisdom to
00:47:15.040you which you desperately need because you're so stupid whereas he went to harvard how many people
00:47:20.640receive one of these 10 letters from obama's or really obama's intern and became incredibly furious
00:47:27.300when instead of an actual response about you know how they're going to be able to afford health care
00:47:31.820now that Obamacare has demolished their private insurance plan.
00:47:34.900All they got was some patronizing, you know, fortune cookie words of wisdom from a narcissist
00:47:40.700who's going to cry at the sight of his own letters 20 years after the fact
00:47:44.520inside a grotesque temple that he built for himself.
00:47:49.220Now, probably nobody had that reaction because he didn't read any letters and he didn't send any letters.
00:47:54.540It's all a photo op, a fake exhibit for a fake president.
00:47:57.420And for that reason, it's the perfect exhibit for Obama's temple.
00:48:03.840And Obama's temple, in turn, is the perfect addition to the skyline of the city of Chicago.
00:48:09.480No city is a better illustration of the perpetual rot that inevitably follows decades of one-party rule by Democrats.
00:48:17.180No mayor is a better illustration of their incompetence and their maliciousness and their clownishness than Brandon Johnson.
00:48:25.380And for that reason, we should all be grateful that Obama's temple has opened in Chicago, looking as distinctively repulsive as it does.
00:48:35.580There lies a reminder of what we should resist with every fiber of our beings for as long as we can.
00:48:42.900There lies a structure that honors Indians who massacred white women and children while patronizing Americans with its absurd exhibit of pigs' anuses and fraudulent letters.
00:48:52.180There lies the perfect monument to the Democrat Party.
00:48:56.800Never forget it or what it stands for.
00:49:11.180Last month, we judged Martin Luther King Jr.
00:49:13.380not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character.
00:49:16.380American school kids spend a lot of time hearing about MLK and Rosa Parks.
00:49:23.380Have you noticed no one ever asks what Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery are like today?
00:49:29.380The legacy of the civil rights movement wasn't a racially harmonious utopia.
00:49:35.380It's hollowed out urban cores, hundreds of thousands of dead Americans,
00:49:40.380raped grandmothers, ethnic cleansing of entire neighborhoods.
00:49:43.380This month, we survey first-hand accounts of the historic wave of nonviolent crime riots unleashed on this country by the Civil Rights Movement,
00:49:50.380which caused more enduring damage on America's greatest cities than the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
00:49:57.380Who were the winners? And who were the losers? What's the truth about redlining, white flight, affirmative action?
00:50:06.380Don't want to miss the second part of our special on the Civil Rights Movement, The Looting of America.
