00:00:00.480 Recently, our company's softball team lost the big game by one run.
00:00:04.800 Then Dale tried to console us with the quote,
00:00:07.200 winning isn't everything.

00:00:30.000 There aren't many organizations that can stay alive after burning millions of dollars and
00:00:35.180 losing money every single year for decades. Now, the government can pull off that trick,
00:00:40.000 actually can burn through many billions of dollars and stay in the red to the tune of
00:00:43.680 tens of trillions. But that's because, you know, they have bombs and guns and direct access to all
00:00:48.260 of our bank accounts. In the private sector, however, an organization typically has to start
00:00:52.460 turning a profit at some point. And sports leagues in particular have a tough time surviving when
00:00:57.640 they constantly light cash on fire. Think of the ill-fated North American Soccer League,
00:01:02.480 the Arena Football League, the XFL, even NFL Europe, which could have existed until the end
00:01:08.380 of time with the funding coming from the actual NFL, eventually folded after about 15 years.
00:01:14.680 Towards the end, they realized that only Germans were watching NFL Europe. So in a Hail Mary attempt
00:01:19.780 to get viewers, they changed the name of the league to NFL Europa, since that's apparently
00:01:23.520 what Germans call Europe. But even this clever little stratagem didn't save the day. The operation
00:01:28.540 folded soon afterwards. So at a certain point, unpopular leagues that lose money die and everybody
00:01:34.700 moves on with their lives. And it's fine. That's usually how these things go. The WNBA, however,
00:01:41.440 stands as a lone exception for this well-established pattern. Despite incurring average losses of
00:01:47.740 $10 million a year since its first game in 1997, this abject failure of a league
00:01:53.160 has somehow continued to exist in defiance of the laws of physics. The WNBA has never turned
00:01:59.620 a profit, not one single year in its entire history. Even today, as it generates more revenue
00:02:05.340 than ever and gets more attention than ever, thanks almost entirely to one player, it still
00:02:10.360 loses money. Actually, that negative $10 million a year figure is from 2018. And in recent years,
00:02:16.700 as the WNBA's revenue has trended up, the losses have multiplied many times over. So today,
00:02:21.980 the league loses something like $40 or $50 million a year. Its total cumulative losses stood at $200
00:02:30.080 million in 2018. So today, that number must be double that or more. It survives as a money pit
00:02:37.860 because its sugar daddy, the NBA, keeps it afloat. The WNBA is truly the welfare queen of the sports
00:02:44.540 industry, and the NBA still somehow has evidently not lost patience with displays like this one
00:02:51.280 from the WNBA's latest quote-unquote all-star game. Watch.
00:02:57.680 Stewart tips it alive. Williams from four-point range.
00:03:01.680 Ty Young almost sucked him in when we were down by 11. She tuned that up. She knew who she wanted
00:03:07.520 Well, for those listening to the audio podcast,
00:03:35.880 the footage there that we just played is exactly what you think. A slapstick spectacle. The ladies
00:03:41.780 miss layups and dunks. They airball shots from 20 feet out. They send balls clunking off the
00:03:47.880 backboard. And this is the All-Star Game, remember. You know, the WNBA All-Star Game looks like that
00:03:53.560 scene from Space Jam after the cartoon aliens zap all the athletic skill out of Charles Barkley
00:03:59.020 and Patrick Ewing and Muggsy Bogues. It's kind of like that. You'll see more inspiring athletic
00:04:03.980 performances at any random bowling alley on a Tuesday night than at the WNBA All-Star game.
00:04:09.680 It's certainly clear that any decent boys high school basketball team in the country could
00:04:14.200 destroy the best WNBA team, obviously, which is why Clay Travis just made this announcement,
00:04:18.940 putting his money where his mouth is. Quote, I'm upping my offer $10 million for a head-to-head
00:04:24.520 basketball game between the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces and a boys high school
00:04:29.820 state title team of my choice. If the Aces beat my team, I will give them $10 million.
00:04:36.540 Now, there is precedent for this kind of exhibition match, and it ended precisely how you would
00:04:40.580 expect. As we mentioned before, a few years ago, the U.S. Women's National Team, the World Cup
00:04:44.440 champions at the time, lost by a score of 5-2 to a youth team of 15 and 14-year-old boys from
00:04:52.040 Dallas in a scrimmage match. So it wasn't even close. The teenagers outplayed the women throughout
00:04:58.840 the match. That's how you get to a 5-2 score, which counts as a blowout in soccer. And as you
00:05:04.560 can see from the photos, even though they were much younger, the boys were a lot larger than
00:05:07.760 the women's team. I mean, it's almost as if their biology gave them a massive advantage.
00:05:12.440 And we all know that if a WNBA team had to play a boys basketball team, it would be much worse.
00:05:18.940 I mean, it would be a massacre so complete, so severe as to end in war crime charges against
00:05:24.520 the boys team. That's how bad it would be. And the only success story the WNBA has had recently
00:05:29.880 really is the rise of a single straight white woman named, of course, Caitlin Clark,
00:05:36.080 who has routinely embarrassed her mostly lesbian, mostly black rivals. She's the most bankable WNBA
00:05:41.800 player in history by a huge margin. She's the only WNBA player that has ever had any real name
00:05:48.080 recognition outside of the small and mysterious population of diehard WNBA fans. I mean, prior to
00:05:54.480 Caitlin Clark. Prior to her, a WNBA player had to go get themselves arrested and imprisoned in Russia
00:06:00.920 in order to garner any kind of national prominence. And yet Clark has managed to achieve fame and
00:06:07.020 fortune in the WNBA without having to create any international incident to do it. And this fact
00:06:13.620 is obviously torturous for most WNBA players and coaches and referees and officials who have
00:06:18.760 clearly been engaging in a coordinated campaign to injure Clark on the court when they're not
00:06:24.140 smearing her name in the press because it's a nightmare situation for them. Someone finally
00:06:30.880 comes along and attracts wider and positive attention to the league, and it's a white girl.
00:06:37.140 I mean, other WNBA players have been in a perpetual jealous rage over this fact for
00:06:41.840 multiple years now. ESPN commentators can hardly contain their seething contempt.
00:06:48.480 And for the rest of us, this is all very funny to watch. And that's why, to the extent that
00:06:54.120 I've weighed in on the WNBA over the past few years on rare occasion. It's mostly been to defend
00:06:58.540 Caitlin Clark, who's clearly being targeted in large part because of her skin color.
00:07:03.620 Clark, for a while, had not been a participant in her own humiliation or the humiliation of
00:07:09.740 white female athletes in general. But that has changed. She's been trending in this direction
00:07:15.960 for a while, but at this point, it's clear to every reasonable observer that Caitlin Clark,
00:07:20.700 I'm afraid, is a huge coward. First, she refused to say anything about the overt anti-white racism
00:07:27.220 she's been subjected to, even as this abuse has intensified both on and off the court.
00:07:32.420 Instead, she's done interviews in the media where she laments her, quote, white privilege
00:07:36.340 and talks about the importance of, quote, elevating black women. Now, never mind the fact that a league
00:07:42.140 consisting almost entirely of black women has been propped up and kept afloat for 30 years
00:07:46.820 artificially just to make them feel good about themselves. Is that not enough elevation?
00:07:52.000 Apparently not. Black women also make up a hugely disproportionate number of welfare recipients and
00:07:57.400 government employees. They are also favored by every affirmative action and DEI policy at every
00:08:03.960 institution in America and have been for decades. I mean, there is no group in history, this is just
00:08:08.840 a fact, there's no group of history, no group in the history of this country that has been more
00:08:14.340 thoroughly and more artificially elevated than black women. And yet apparently they need even
00:08:20.720 more elevation, according to Caitlin Clark. And more recently, Clark has punted on the question
00:08:25.680 of whether males should be allowed to compete against females, which is to say Clark has
00:08:29.940 no backbone whatsoever. And we'll get into some detail about that betrayal in a moment. But first,
00:08:36.180 we should talk about Sophie Cunningham, who's another straight white female WNBA player who,
00:08:40.720 unlike Clark, actually appears to have some guts and integrity, Cunningham recently became a
00:08:45.840 high-profile target for the left after this profile in ESPN, in which she refused to toe the line
00:08:51.560 on gender ideology. So here's the relevant paragraph from ESPN with the key quote from
00:08:57.520 Cunningham at the end, quote, you say she's a MAGA Barbie, as some corners of the internet have
00:09:03.460 taken to calling her. Projection, she says, because of what she looks like and where she's from.
00:09:08.180 she'll weigh in on how to protect women's sports, she says, because she's in that world and feels
00:09:13.360 qualified to speak to that world. Quote, I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating trans
00:09:18.460 and I'm like, I never once said that, she says. I think that I'm here to extend love, but I also
00:09:23.580 think with that love is truth and being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker
00:09:28.680 room or young girls in sports who shouldn't have to go against biological men. So that's what she
00:09:34.880 said. Now, you could quibble with, you know, some of the wording. For one thing, she uses the term
00:09:39.100 biological men, which is redundant since all men are biological men. There's no such thing as a
00:09:44.320 non-biological man, which the term biological man would seem to imply. To the best of my knowledge,
00:09:51.120 the term biological men was really popularized by conservatives who were trying to avoid getting
00:09:56.060 banned on social media back in the dark old days. Platforms would ban you if you said that a, quote,
00:10:01.720 trans woman was actually a man, so conservatives thought it would be safer to say that he's a
00:10:05.640 biological man. In any event, the terminology was always unnecessary. It serves no purpose.
00:10:10.900 At best, perhaps biological man serves to sort of emphasize the point, kind of like referring
00:10:16.020 to solid ground, even though the ground is solid by definition. But in practice, it just reads as
00:10:21.820 a kind of equivocation, and we should reject it for that reason. But there's no need to get hung
00:10:26.620 up on the semantics in this case. Sophie Cunningham is obviously sending the right message.
00:10:31.720 One that 99% of the country agrees with, by the way, because you'd have to be a brainwashed LGBT activist to say anything else.
00:10:39.820 And even the brainwashed LGBT activists, they also know that she's right, even if they never admit it.
00:10:45.500 The entire reason we have separate sports leagues for women is that women cannot compete against men.
00:10:50.620 If women could compete against men, then the separate league would not be necessary.
00:10:55.580 You know, women could just join the NBA or the NFL or whatever other popular sports league.
00:11:00.020 All of those leagues, except women, by the way, none of them have a policy banning women.
00:11:08.520 You know, it's not like the NFL is the men's football league. It's just the football. It's
00:11:12.040 a professional football league. Anyone can technically join. If any woman were ever
00:11:19.400 skilled enough to compete against men at the highest level of any of those sports,
00:11:23.980 she would simply join the league that has all the men. But that has never happened in history
00:11:29.060 because no woman in history has ever been capable of competing against men at that level.
00:11:33.860 And that's why we have women's leagues. And it's why you, you know, if you allow men to compete in
00:11:39.100 those leagues, obviously women will be completely shut out. But Cunningham deserves praise for
00:11:43.660 taking this stance because predictably she's facing harassment because of it. She even drew
00:11:50.360 the ire of this morbidly obese fan who held up a sign reading, I didn't think I could dislike
00:11:56.020 anyone more than Clark. Congrats, Cunningham. Now, realistically, we can assume that this woman
00:12:01.860 dislikes both Clark and Cunningham solely because they both have a BMI somewhere south of 70.
00:12:07.920 But more to the point, like Caitlin Clark before her, Cunningham is also taking a lot of physical
00:12:13.660 hits, hits to the face. And then she's getting called for a foul on top of that. So she's getting
00:12:19.240 physically assaulted and blamed for it. So here's a clip narrated apparently by Dave Portnoy.
00:12:26.020 Watch.
00:12:27.880 How about a WNBA refs?
00:12:31.680 This is just a defensive foul.
00:12:34.280 Thank you for the review.
00:12:35.660 Just a defensive foul.
00:12:37.580 No hostile act.
00:12:39.540 Just a foul on Sophie Cunningham.
00:12:41.280 They call that a foul on Sophie Cunningham.
00:12:45.940 She's got 14 of her teeth on the ground.
00:12:50.860 That's a defensive foul.
00:12:52.860 And they reviewed it for a hostile act.
00:12:55.700 Yeah, Sophie's saying, hey, I just got my jaw broke.
00:12:58.880 Is this a political stance?
00:13:01.240 You just took 14 of my teeth.
00:13:03.360 Just, yeah, quiet, Sophie.
00:13:04.740 No big deal.
00:13:06.060 A defensive foul.
00:13:07.720 Let's watch this one more time.
00:13:09.560 This is on Sophie?
00:13:12.760 Uh, no, I don't think so.
00:13:15.860 No, I don't think so.
00:13:18.020 Elbow to the jaw to 14 teeth gone.
00:13:20.360 That's offensive, bruh.
00:13:23.000 Yeah, Sophie, you got your face knocked in.
00:13:25.860 We see it.
00:13:28.760 So I guess the foul is that Sophie Cunningham threw her face into the other player's elbow.
00:13:36.240 She fouled the player's elbow with her face.
00:13:40.900 And the instant replay review really sells it.
00:13:43.500 As Portnoy says, it's a very sick league.
00:13:46.500 These people are perverse.
00:13:48.860 So needless to say, Cunningham has attracted a lot of hate because of her position.
00:13:52.240 and that's not surprising. Gender ideology is the emperor has no clothes of our generation.
00:13:57.120 Nobody believes in it. Nobody thinks it's true. Nobody can defend it. Everybody knows it's insane.
00:14:03.520 It survives only through emotional blackmail and intimidation and violence and fear. And indeed,
00:14:10.000 the left-wing activists in the media are already descending on Cunningham for her remarks,
00:14:14.420 demanding that she explain herself. And to her credit, up to this point, she's not backing down.
00:14:21.000 Watch. On that same vein and that story with ESPN, you talked about wanting to protect young
00:14:26.300 girls who shouldn't have to go against biological men. Just can you expand your viewpoint on that?
00:14:30.760 I mean, I think I said what I said. I think it's kind of common sense.
00:14:34.560 And I think I'll always believe in that. I think it's really important to protect children.
00:14:38.980 And that's little girls who are also involved in that category. And so
00:14:43.420 I stand on what I said and I always believe that.
00:14:47.200 Do you see your advocacy on that, like taking any form going forward?
00:14:51.180 You know, I don't know.
00:14:52.160 I didn't, I'm not a very political person, but I do have beliefs.
00:14:55.440 I have morals and I'll always stand on those and be true to who I am.
00:14:59.000 And I think people are going to take it how they want to take it, but I've never even
00:15:03.900 really said anything about that.
00:15:05.300 And so when it comes just to protecting young girls in sport and women in sport, I feel
00:15:10.660 very strongly about that.
00:15:11.720 I think that's why you have Title IX.
00:15:13.660 That's why you have some of the greats in women's sports.
00:15:16.820 If Title IX and women's sports weren't protected, then you wouldn't hear about any type of women in sport.
00:15:21.500 And so I think in the future, it's just really important to protect.
00:15:26.380 Do you think, I guess, along the way, like that it goes against perhaps some people might say, hey, for the trans community, this could be something that could come back on us or be targeted against us.
00:15:36.360 Like, how do you, I guess, view that sort of critique?
00:15:39.260 You know, like I said, I extend love and I don't dislike anyone.
00:15:43.280 Like, I think there is room for absolutely everyone here. And I think there's room to love everyone. And I truly think when you get people in the same room, you have conversations, you actually have a lot in common with a lot in common with a lot of people. And so I'm there to love. But I'm also there to to love biological women. And I think that there are rights that need to be protected. And like I said, I'm going to stand true to that.
00:16:04.560 can you expand on that the first question can you you said men are men men should be in men's
00:16:13.380 league you know men's leagues and not women's leagues can you expand on that
00:16:17.320 you said two plus two equals four can you expand on that you said that two plus two
00:16:23.960 actually the sum is four can you expand not really what else you want me to say
00:16:31.560 Can I expand on it?
00:16:32.580 I mean, it's a self-evident thing that I just said, right?
00:16:36.320 Like, this wall over here exists.
00:16:39.020 You see this wall?
00:16:40.080 It exists.
00:16:41.280 Oh, can you expand on that?
00:16:42.440 No, not really.
00:16:45.640 I mean, I could slam your head against the wall if you want more evidence.
00:16:48.240 Like, if you want, I mean, I could.
00:16:49.160 If you really want more evidence, I could do that.
00:16:51.400 But I can't really expand on it.
00:16:54.900 And then we get the old some-might-say technique from these slimy reporters.
00:16:59.840 the reporter claims some some might say some people might say that the trans community quote
00:17:06.800 unquote will be targeted because of what Sophie Cunningham said this continues to be an enduring
00:17:12.140 mythology on the left of course trans ideology as a whole is a mythology but also more specifically
00:17:16.940 the idea that trans identified people are being targeted in some way that is not happening that
00:17:22.920 has not happened like ever as events over the past few years have clearly demonstrated trans
00:17:28.260 identified people are far more likely to do the targeting than to be targeted. But the implication,
00:17:35.200 as always, is that we shouldn't tell the truth about human biology and basic fairness, because
00:17:39.160 if we do tell the truth, the non-existent trans genocide will continue. Never mind the fact that
00:17:44.620 trans genocide doesn't exist, or the fact that trans identified people in virtually every single
00:17:49.380 case are either killed by themselves, or by police officers trying to stop a mass shooting, or by a
00:17:54.460 drug deal gone wrong or by a black guy who thought his prostitute was really a woman or similar
00:17:59.060 circumstances that have nothing to do with transphobia. It's a fiction that we're just
00:18:03.160 supposed to accept on behalf of this supposedly marginalized community, even as this marginalized
00:18:08.000 community routinely victimizes everybody around them. And ESPN is one of the worst offenders in
00:18:13.620 this regard in terms of, of course, pushing trans ideology and demonizing Cunningham for
00:18:17.860 her remarks. In the middle of a game, their announcers imply that Cunningham is hateful
00:18:23.420 because she doesn't support so-called trans children.
00:18:27.000 And for contrast, the announcers praised Cheryl Reeve,
00:18:29.880 who apparently is the coach of something called the Minnesota Lynx,
00:18:33.780 which I guess is a team.
00:18:34.940 And they also told the audience to check out Reeve's remarks
00:18:37.660 in which she attacked Cunningham.
00:18:39.900 Listen to this.
00:18:42.420 We see Cheryl Reeve wearing a shirt today in support of trans kids.
00:18:48.720 Trans kids belong on the shirt.
00:18:50.840 This is the aftermath of Sophie Cunningham's recent comments.
00:18:54.340 We actually saw Cheryl and Sophie speaking at center court pregame.
00:19:00.440 And yesterday, Cheryl Reeves spent a lot of time talking at length with the media about this topic.
00:19:06.880 I would encourage anyone to go and listen to Cheryl Reeves' comments.
00:19:09.940 It's incredibly thoughtful, easy to find online, and just encourage anyone to go and listen.
00:19:20.840 you know, it's kind of remarkable to watch sports announcers advocate for the destruction of the
00:19:26.140 sport that they're covering. You know, that never gets old. All Cunningham said is that men
00:19:30.140 shouldn't play in women's sports and, you know, they're shaming her for it. They're deriding her
00:19:34.480 for taking a position that will ensure the continued existence of the sport that they
00:19:38.120 are employed to cover. And of course, for all their finger wagging at Cunningham, they don't
00:19:43.000 actually address a single one of her arguments. Instead, they direct the audience to listen to
00:19:46.460 Cheryl Reeves' brilliant insights, we were promised that her remarks were incredibly
00:19:52.580 thoughtful. Now, I've been covering the trans issue for many years, as you know. I have never
00:19:58.940 once heard a trans activist say anything that could be considered even almost thoughtful,
00:20:04.640 much less incredibly so. Any amount of thought or coherence or sanity at all from one of them
00:20:12.480 would be incredible. And if this WNBA coach is the first advocate of trans ideology to string
00:20:18.400 together an intelligible sentence, well, I want to hear it. I mean, this is a momentous occasion.
00:20:23.860 So I went and pulled up those thoughtful comments, very eager to hear them. And here they are.
00:20:31.020 In terms of my views, since I said last week, I come from a space of inclusion. And the narrative
00:20:41.980 that I think that is problematic is to suggest that, number one, that transgender athletes
00:20:50.340 are the biggest problem in women's sports.
00:20:52.640 And I think this is what's bothersome, is that there's a faction of people in our country
00:20:58.080 that are making this a massive issue.
00:21:01.100 We have some issues.
00:21:03.460 Number one, we need to protect trans kids.
00:21:08.060 Every kid, to me it's a human rights issue.
00:21:10.720 Every kid has a right to sports, regardless of gender diverse, transgender, every kid has the right to access.
00:21:21.220 Now, what gets nuanced is, you know, when you're beyond puberty, when you're an Olympic sport, when you're, you know, scholarships and that sort of thing.
00:21:31.500 That's where I say that common sense people get together and you find common ground to find a way to be inclusive.
00:21:39.560 The answer isn't no. It is not the case that we have, quote, biological men in girls' locker rooms.
00:21:47.580 The way it's being phrased, the innuendo there that somehow transgender women are predators of some kind in the locker room.
00:21:56.200 There's a lot of narrative that is problematic that we need to address.
00:22:01.180 There's, again, I don't want to go so detailed, there's a lot of nuanced issues when it comes to science and hormone therapy, etc.
00:22:10.220 I've chosen to educate myself about the space.
00:22:13.280 I've chosen to listen to transgender families.
00:22:16.840 And what I know is exclusion is not the answer.
00:22:21.140 We've got to find the common ground and be inclusive.
00:22:26.740 Yeah, she doesn't want to go too deep.
00:22:28.680 I don't want to go too deep.
00:22:30.180 Yeah, this is really deep.
00:22:31.140 Oh, man, that was deep.
00:22:32.140 Whoa, man, that was deep.
00:22:34.740 That was so deep.
00:22:36.760 There you have it.
00:22:37.880 Incredibly thoughtful.
00:22:39.560 if by incredibly thoughtful we mean a rambling, muddled, unintelligible clump of words vaguely
00:22:45.500 strung together in the approximate shape of an English sentence, then sure, that was incredibly
00:22:49.900 thoughtful. This is what passes for thoughtful, apparently. At no point does Reeve make anything
00:22:54.380 resembling an actual argument. At no point does she address the fundamental point, the only point,
00:22:59.520 which is that trans-identified males are males and that their self-identification,
00:23:03.980 their perception of themselves does not change their biological nature. She doesn't grapple
00:23:09.960 with that problem, which is not actually a problem, or at least doesn't need to be a problem.
00:23:14.200 But Reeve does say the word nuanced a lot. Now, that's what the ESPN commentators were really
00:23:19.740 impressed by. On the left, the way to fool your comrades into thinking that you're saying
00:23:23.760 something smart is just to throw the word nuanced around a lot. You don't have to actually make a
00:23:28.600 nuanced argument or any argument at all. You just need to say that it's nuanced. Yes, well,
00:23:33.960 you know, there's a lot of nuance. The thing about this issue is that it's nuanced. And the
00:23:40.560 nuanced nature of these nuances is such that it creates nuance, which is very nuanced. And on top
00:23:46.660 of that, I would only say that in addition to being nuanced, it's really quite nuanced
00:23:51.620 when you consider all the nuances. Oh, and you have to throw the word problematic into a lot.
00:23:58.600 Yeah, there's some narratives that are problematic, but there are nuances.
00:24:02.820 There's problematic nuances.
00:24:04.240 And there's nuances to the problems as well.
00:24:08.100 You know, an answer like that essentially puts you on par with Aristotle in the mind of the typical leftist.
00:24:13.980 But you can just imagine these leftists like ESPN, hearing that, and they're just blown away by the, they're just, wow.
00:24:19.920 That's the smartest thing I've ever heard.
00:24:22.580 Did you hear how many times she said the word nuance?
00:24:24.680 She said it like 10 times.
00:24:26.100 but reeve did manage to get one point across clearly she she is sure of this at least she
00:24:32.920 says well we definitely can't tell anyone no under any circumstances the answer can't be no
00:24:38.760 she says right well actually you know the answer is indeed no sometimes very often that's precisely
00:24:45.780 what's necessary for an institution to function you have to tell people who are wrong that they're
00:24:51.780 wrong. You have to tell people who don't belong that they don't belong. You have to say no. It's
00:24:58.060 not an exaggeration to say that the existence of civilization itself depends on our willingness
00:25:03.440 and ability to say no. If our civilization is destroyed, as Cheryl Reeves and her comrades
00:25:09.380 would like to see, you could put her quote on its tombstone as an epitaph, right? The epitaph of
00:25:17.140 Western civilization will be, the answer isn't no. And I would kind of sum it up.
00:25:23.820 Nobody has a human right to play basketball against the opposite sex or to compel everyone
00:25:28.420 else to participate in their confusion. That's absurd. Her whole response was reminiscent of
00:25:33.840 the female CEO of NPR and Wikipedia, who stated that our reverence for the truth might have become
00:25:39.280 a distraction from our real goal, which is finding consensus. You might remember that.
00:25:44.320 a woman who's running a news organization and who ran an online encyclopedia went on the record
00:25:49.340 saying that the truth is less important than reaching a popular consensus. What matters is
00:25:54.120 not the truth. What matters is what most people, or at least what most people within the favored
00:25:59.160 demographic groups believe to be the truth or want to be the truth. So Reef starts out by saying that
00:26:07.040 it's not a big issue in women's sports to have men competing against women because there are other
00:26:10.760 more important things to talk about, which is also a non-argument, of course. And it cuts the
00:26:15.040 other way, too. I mean, if the issue isn't important, if it barely registers as an issue,
00:26:19.760 then why do you care? Why are you talking about it? Why are you wearing that stupid shirt?
00:26:24.640 I mean, as a matter of observable reality, men are indeed competing against women in various
00:26:28.740 sports. But even if there was only one male trans-identifying athlete on the planet, it would
00:26:32.540 still be critically important to affirm the reality of human biology. You know, the thing
00:26:37.680 the other side doesn't understand or pretends not to understand is that this is not an argument
00:26:41.100 about women's sports. It's not about that. It's an argument about reality. It's an argument about
00:26:47.000 truth, whether truth even exists, which it does. And that's why it's crucial we don't go along
00:26:53.720 with the farcical fantasy of men pretending to be women and competing against women in women's
00:26:59.600 sports. Recently, our company's softball team lost the big game by one run. Then Dale tried
00:27:06.640 to console us with the quote, winning isn't everything. Well, Dale and I are very different.
00:27:13.680 I get early payout from Bet365. If my team goes up big, I get paid out instantly,
00:27:18.420 even if they blow the lead later. Sound familiar, Dale? Thanks, Bet365. Must be 19 or older Ontario

00:27:27.720 the gambling of someone close to you, please go to connexontario.cat and see supply.
00:27:31.680 Now, the left understands this, of course. That's why they spent tens of millions of dollars every
00:27:35.380 or on trans activism, even as they claim that the right is obsessed with it. They understand very
00:27:39.860 well that if they can suspend reality, they can get away with anything they want. As the old saying
00:27:44.020 goes, anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities. As Cheryl Reeve's
00:27:50.080 disastrous answer continues, it somehow gets even worse. And remember, this was a response that ESPN
00:27:56.060 was head over heels in love with. And she states that, quote, every kid has a right to sports,
00:28:01.260 regardless of gender diversity, transgender, every kid has the right to access. Yes, a right to
00:28:08.540 sports. Yes, I believe that's a paraphrase of the Declaration of Independence, isn't it? We hold
00:28:14.220 these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they're endowed by their
00:28:17.120 creator with certain unalienable rights. Among these are life, liberty, pursuit of happiness,
00:28:21.620 and sports, right? Isn't that in there? It's right in that document. But I wonder, how does this
00:28:26.920 right to sports work exactly? I mean, do I have the right to play any sport I want?
00:28:31.760 Do I have the right to access any league I want? What if I want to go play professional tennis?
00:28:37.820 Despite the fact that I have zero tennis skill, I don't know the rules. I don't even know how
00:28:42.240 scoring works in tennis, to be honest with you. I'm still confused. Do I have the right?
00:28:47.100 Now, ironically, of course, this right to sports idea, though ridiculous, works against the
00:28:52.880 position she's trying to defend. If women have the right to play sports, then allowing men into
00:28:56.940 their leagues would destroy that right because it would destroy the leagues. So even if you think
00:29:00.720 that she's correct about this mystical right to sports, which doesn't exist, by the way,
00:29:04.540 it does nothing to answer the question of where these kids should play, the boys league or the
00:29:08.740 girls league. Nobody's actually trying to stop trans kids, quote unquote, from playing sports.
00:29:13.460 The point is that they should be required to follow the same rules as everybody else
00:29:16.820 and play in the league that is aligned with their biology like everybody else.
00:29:20.640 And by the way, why are we even talking about trans, quote unquote, trans kids?
00:29:26.040 Like notice how trans activists, uh, they want every debate about the sports subject
00:29:31.100 to focus on kids, right?
00:29:34.680 Um, so it's, it's very interesting if the, if the debate is about sports, it, they only
00:29:39.860 want to talk about quote unquote, trans kids.
00:29:42.060 If the debate is about, uh, you know, surgical procedures and, uh, and, and medical procedures
00:29:49.440 and pills and castration, then they only want to talk about adults. That's interesting.
00:29:56.460 That's because even they feel ridiculous defending the right of full-grown adult males to compete in
00:30:02.900 female sports. Even they feel ridiculous doing that. Instead, they want the whole sport discussion
00:30:07.700 to center around nine-year-olds, even though their position is, of course, no more defensible
00:30:13.860 with respect to nine-year-olds than it is with 29-year-olds. I truly don't know how anyone
00:30:18.800 can watch that clip and find it remotely coherent, much less compelling, but it gets
00:30:22.420 ESPN's stamp of approval. And through it all, Reeve is, of course, extraordinarily pompous
00:30:28.140 and narcissistic, saying she had taken the opportunity to educate people on this issue.
00:30:34.660 And predictably, all the other WNBA coaches are lining up also to push this narrative and push
00:30:43.480 the message. Here's a woman who's apparently the Golden State Valkyries coach, which is another
00:30:47.980 team that exists, I guess. And her name is Natalie Nacase. And here's what she says.
00:30:57.540 I think just in terms of how I'm seeing it is if I could answer with like, for me, sports,
00:31:08.640 sports is about belonging. It's about inclusivity. It's about allowing everyone
00:31:14.580 to be their authentic self um you know i'm big on that just because i have been criticized for my
00:31:21.940 height for my ethnicity um i've been in those you shouldn't belong here uh many times and for me i
00:31:29.880 don't want that space especially golden state to ever feel like that um so i'm all about women
00:31:35.980 little girls deserving to play and that includes trans women so i'm all about inclusivity
00:31:45.540 Really?
00:31:47.380 Really?
00:31:49.060 Someone told you you don't?
00:31:50.620 Many times you've been told you don't belong in the sport because of your ethnicity, because you're Asian.
00:31:56.440 Really?
00:31:57.560 Name one time.
00:31:58.840 Name one person who told you that.
00:32:00.720 That has never happened once.
00:32:02.340 I mean, you guys know that, right?
00:32:03.200 That's never happened one time.
00:32:05.300 She wants us to imagine.
00:32:06.900 She's a WNBA coach in, where was this?
00:32:10.740 In California?
00:32:12.720 I don't even know.
00:32:13.680 and she's showing up to them and we're supposed to imagine that there are people in women's
00:32:18.940 basketball like hey you don't belong here hey there's no asians belonging get out you don't
00:32:25.080 belong here we don't want your kind around here yeah i'm sure i'm sure that happens all the time
00:32:32.200 many times that's happened i oh right i'm sure you know but she also says that sports is about
00:32:39.700 belonging. It's about inclusivity, about letting everyone be their authentic self. Well, you know,
00:32:44.820 no. See, actually, it's not about any of those things. Actually, that's not what sports are
00:32:49.500 about at all. Actually, sports are about the opposite. Actually, it's about competition based
00:32:53.360 on merit. You know, sports are rather explicitly about exclusivity, not inclusivity. If you want
00:32:59.680 to know what sports look like when inclusivity is the priority and everybody belongs and there's
00:33:07.240 no judgment and there are no boundaries and there are no rules and like no one's keeping score,
00:33:12.480 go watch four-year-olds play t-ball. Everyone's included. Everyone is their authentic self,
00:33:18.300 which generally means the players will sit down in the outfield and cry because they want a snack.
00:33:23.200 It's all excruciating to watch for the parents in the audience. Like even if you have a kid there,
00:33:27.460 I mean, usually for these kid activities, at least if your kid is part of it, then it's like,
00:33:31.560 you know, it's kind of cute to see your kid. But even with your kid there, it's just awful. I mean,
00:33:36.820 no parent can endure T-ball for more than one year. It's just terrible. But it's okay,
00:33:43.120 you know, if still basically pointless. I mean, T-ball has no point at all. They're not learning
00:33:48.280 the game, so you might as well not do it. It's a total waste of time. But anyway, it's okay for
00:33:52.740 kindergartners. Beyond that age, sports start to emphasize the competitive nature of the contest,
00:33:58.540 and they become progressively more exclusive until you get to the highest levels where
00:34:03.480 everything is designed precisely to include no one except the very best. And also, never mind
00:34:12.860 again the irony of these speeches about inclusivity from WNBA coaches, where they are beating the
00:34:21.760 shit out of white players on the court like every night. It's the only professional league in
00:34:28.640 existence where there's out in the open racial race-based assaults happening. Okay. It's the,
00:34:35.980 that's the, it's the only, it's the only professional sport in America this century
00:34:40.440 where anything like that ever happens. And yet they're the ones we're getting these inclusivity
00:34:46.760 speeches from. The coach also slips into yet another familiar non-argument for the pro-trans
00:34:52.780 side. They says, well, well, you know, other people have been subjected to discrimination
00:34:56.740 and that was bad, and therefore it's wrong to tell men that they can't transform into women
00:35:01.880 and destroy female sports, because one form of discrimination was bad, like the one that
00:35:06.800 she suffered from, which was actually totally imaginary and never happened, but therefore
00:35:10.620 all discrimination is bad. Now in logic, this is called a non sequitur, because in fact,
00:35:17.180 contrary to what this woman is claiming, some forms of discrimination are good. Many forms
00:35:22.420 of discrimination are good. They are necessary for society to function. You discriminate every
00:35:28.800 single day of your life. You have to. Discriminating just means selecting one thing
00:35:34.700 over another. That's discrimination. Airlines discriminate against blind pilots, or at least
00:35:42.260 they used to, because blind pilots would endanger everybody on the planet, on the plane rather.
00:35:47.340 Blood banks discriminate against people with diseases because their blood could infect other
00:35:51.680 people. Hospitals discriminate against surgeons with no hands because surgeons with no hands
00:35:55.640 can't perform surgery. And by the same token, female sports leagues should discriminate against
00:36:00.700 men because otherwise women will be unable to compete. That's why for all their pandering,
00:36:05.340 the WNBA does not allow men into the league with, well, with one or two possible exceptions.
00:36:11.900 They know it would destroy their product immediately. They won't admit that they're
00:36:16.000 banning trans-identified athletes, but that's exactly what they're doing. And that's good
00:36:19.980 policy, obviously. It's just that they're being as cowardly as possible about it. They're lying.
00:36:26.780 Now, it's not as if we're talking about throwing trans-identified athletes like off a cliff here.
00:36:30.780 The solution is to tell them that they have to play with other members of their sex. And that's
00:36:34.640 because men are different from women at the chromosomal level. This is a fundamental biological
00:36:38.760 reality. Everyone knows it's true. No one should have any issues saying it out loud. But Caitlin
00:36:43.500 Clark, for her, this fundamental biological reality is actually a matter for leagues and
00:36:51.220 governing bodies to figure out. It is a bureaucratic issue that has nothing to do with playing
00:36:55.780 basketball, apparently, even though it's obviously relevant to the sport. So she's not interested.
00:37:01.100 She doesn't want to talk about it. Watch. I think for us, like, you know, it's not really a discussion
00:37:08.220 we really have in our locker room. I think it's for leagues and the governing bodies to work with
00:37:11.680 their athletes to find solutions but our focus is on basketball and that's what we talk about and
00:37:15.960 how we can get wins and obviously we didn't do that tonight so you need to find an area to improve
00:37:19.620 in that way do you have any you know reaction to the i just answered for you
00:37:24.980 now some of caitlin clark's fans have tried to defend this rather staggering display of cowardice
00:37:35.120 they say that well clark is just trying to stay focused on the game oh really then why was she
00:37:40.300 doing interviews last year talking about white privilege and the need to elevate black women.
00:37:45.240 Was that about staying focused on the game? We all know she's afraid, and so she's not saying
00:37:51.980 what is obviously true. And besides, as Caitlin Clark knows, she's one of the few athletes on
00:37:56.660 the planet who can directly influence how leagues and governing bodies address this issue. She is
00:38:03.580 uniquely positioned on this issue. Just saying one thing would have an enormous effect on this
00:38:11.860 particular issue beyond what anyone else could ever do. And yet she refuses to. The moment a
00:38:19.000 few prominent, courageous athletes take a stand against this insanity, the bureaucrats will cave
00:38:23.360 very quickly, but she's too cowardly to step out of line because she might lose her endorsements
00:38:26.940 or whatever. So she's happy to give an HR approved answer. If you're a girl who wants to play
00:38:30.980 basketball and you have to compete against men. Well, then Caitlin Clark simply doesn't care.
00:38:35.000 You know, she secured her contract. She doesn't care about you.
00:38:39.040 There's no excuse for this cowardice. I mean, it's not hard to just say, hey, men are men and
00:38:43.960 they should compete against other men. That's it. Done. No one is saying she should like do a
00:38:49.500 podcast about it. No one's saying she should go into an hour long monologue. Okay. No one's saying
00:38:53.920 that. Takes less than five seconds. Five seconds. Just say, yeah, men should compete against other
00:38:58.880 men. Done. That's it. That could be the one and only thing you ever say about it. It's not
00:39:04.360 complicated. It's not complex. It is not, in fact, nuanced, despite what lesbian NBA coaches might
00:39:09.620 claim. It's very simple. The question can be answered quickly and firmly without need of
00:39:15.560 further explanation. And she refrained from providing that answer, which could have done
00:39:20.920 a lot of good, purely out of fear. Even though she is the most bankable star in the league,
00:39:25.900 the only bankable star in fact they're not going to fire her you know she's not going to get cut
00:39:30.880 from the team she's as secure professionally as a person could possibly be and yet she still chose
00:39:36.160 to hide under her bed cowering in fear that's what happened and there's a similar cowardice of
00:39:42.060 course that affects major medical associations and hospitals in this country really it takes
00:39:45.520 just one or two doctors to bring down entire gender clinics that abuse children we saw that
00:39:49.220 with Ethan Haim who exposed Texas Children's Hospital for performing gender mutilation
00:39:53.680 procedures on children and was prosecuted by the biden doj for it and in the end hame won texas
00:39:58.820 children's paid millions of dollars in a settlement with the doj set up a detransition clinic
00:40:02.840 stop butchering children in the same vein our reporting on vanderbilt where we caught them on
00:40:07.260 tape saying the gender clinics were big money makers led to the shutdown of their youth gender
00:40:11.700 clinic as well then it led to a historic supreme court case that upheld many more bans against
00:40:15.640 these horrific procedures nationwide it doesn't take much like it only takes it doesn't take much
00:40:19.700 and uh and again caitlin clark is uniquely positioned on the issue of women's sports i
00:40:26.440 don't think there's literally no one in the country is better positioned than she is
00:40:29.380 uh to have an enormous impact just by saying one thing and even in other sports it's become
00:40:35.640 acceptable to talk about gender in reality-based terms so here for example is ariana uh sabalenka
00:40:42.700 discussing new plans for sex testing by the world tennis association they're introducing mandatory
00:40:47.540 one-time genetic sex testing for all players to keep men out of tennis uh this is done with a
00:40:52.380 cheek swab so it's not invasive at all it doesn't take very long uh there's really no conceivable
00:40:57.640 objection to it watch hi uh the wta recently announced that you know the players will take
00:41:06.380 a one-time gender test how do you how do you feel about that the first pro league to go in that
00:41:10.780 direction i think it's really important to keep the fairness in our tour and it's always the
00:41:16.660 biologically, right, the men are way stronger than women.
00:41:19.440 So I feel like it would be not really fair for the women
00:41:22.640 to compete against biological men.
00:41:25.760 So I believe it took them a little while
00:41:29.320 to make the decision.
00:41:31.180 And yeah, I support it.
00:41:37.880 But for me, I'm focusing on myself, on my goals,
00:41:40.880 you know, whatever it takes.
00:41:42.200 If they want to test us all, I'm happy to do that.
00:41:45.420 It's pretty fair, and let's keep it that way.
00:41:48.620 Again, this is the dominant way of thinking because it's the only sane way to address the issue.
00:41:52.460 When men are dressing up like women and daring you to test them, the solution isn't to throw up your hands and say,
00:41:56.520 well, I guess we have to let men compete against women now.
00:41:58.960 Just go ahead and test them. Call their bluff.
00:42:01.120 It's an objective standard that no one can dispute, and the WTA recognizes that.
00:42:06.100 Because of all these victories and what they expose to the general public,
00:42:09.460 the pro-trans side has been defeated at every level, both culturally and politically over the
00:42:16.720 past few years. It's just been one loss after another. They are in total disarray. People who
00:42:21.580 still list their pronouns in their bios are like artifacts now from a lost age. Every poll shows
00:42:27.340 that people don't want men and women's sports. When Kamala Harris defended taxpayer-funded sex
00:42:31.340 changes for illegal aliens in prison, the Trump campaign immediately turned it into a devastating
00:42:35.540 TV ad. It's one of the main reasons she lost the election. The trans cult is a massive liability
00:42:40.560 at this point. No sane person would associate with them anymore. And yet, despite the total
00:42:46.140 failure of the trans movement, a handful of female coaches and bureaucrats in the WNBA are still
00:42:51.760 pushing the ideology. They also have the support of sports journalists who are easily the dumbest
00:42:56.940 people on the planet, even more so than other journalists, which is hard to pull off. And it's
00:43:03.800 kind of hard to explain, at least on the surface. I mean, what explains why the WNBA is still
00:43:07.120 holding on to this, holding on to trans ideology, even after it's been abandoned and defeated
00:43:12.220 almost everywhere else? Well, the answer is that the WNBA is a microcosm showing what happens when
00:43:20.360 an institution is run entirely by liberal women. You get dysfunction, failure, humiliation,
00:43:27.620 squabbling, financial insolvency, and above all, stupidity. Now, the irony is we've talked about
00:43:33.700 is that if the WNBA actually did allow men to compete,
00:43:36.980 it would cease to exist as an organization immediately.
00:43:40.760 And this is the main hallmark of an institution run by liberal women,
00:43:43.600 a total inability to perform even the most basic functions of self-preservation.
00:43:49.320 This is why you can't let these kinds of people run your country
00:43:51.960 or any institution within your country.
00:43:55.220 Maybe you saw this video from the other day
00:43:56.980 showing a young Spanish woman waving in the horde of foreign invaders from Morocco
00:44:00.860 who are streaming into her country.
00:44:03.700 Um, she's the only woman in this footage. It's a horde of exclusively young male Africans,
00:44:08.480 roughly 70,000 of them illegally entering a Spanish city with a total population of around
00:44:14.080 84,000. They very nearly outnumber the locals already. And this woman is thrilled by it.
00:44:20.680 She's thrilled by the destruction of her town. It's, it's going to make her life so much worse
00:44:28.020 and more dangerous in every conceivable way. And she's happy about it. She doesn't care that
00:44:33.260 Spain can't support these people. She doesn't care that they have no legal right to be there.
00:44:38.440 She doesn't care that these foreigners are going to rape and murder countless victims in line with
00:44:42.880 their rich cultural traditions. All she cares about is that it seems like the nice thing to do.
00:44:47.960 If the military had opened fire on the barbarian hordes storming into their country,
00:44:53.200 well, that would have given her the ick. And we wouldn't want that.
00:44:58.160 Education isn't just about collecting credits or getting a diploma. It's about developing skills,
00:45:02.660 learning how to think, building the kind of character that's going to matter long after
00:45:07.280 graduation. College is supposed to equip young people for adulthood, but more often than not,
00:45:11.820 that's not exactly what happens. And that's one reason I'm proud to have Grand Canyon University

00:47:33.180 At some level, athletes like Caitlin Clark
00:47:35.120 recognize what's going on here back in the WNBA.
00:47:39.220 That's why she clearly didn't want to answer
00:47:41.780 the question from that reporter.
00:47:42.920 She understands that trans ideology is all but dead
00:47:45.160 as a cultural and political force.
00:47:47.580 And just a few women with courage and integrity,
00:47:49.880 women like Sophie Cunningham, could help put the final nail in the coffin.
00:47:54.400 But unlike all of the people who've defended her over the years, Caitlin Clark has now decided
00:47:59.360 that she'd rather have the approval of her peers, as well as endorsement deals, instead of courage
00:48:05.300 or integrity. Now, there's a lesson there for conservatives who supported Clark based solely
00:48:10.540 on the anti-white attacks that she was receiving. It's also a lesson for girls who looked up to
00:48:15.180 Clark only to discover that she's a coward who won't say a single word in their defense.
00:48:19.880 The WNBA is an organization run by and compromised of, or comprised of, and compromised by, liberal women.
00:48:27.940 And it's also a disaster. It is a self-parody.
00:48:32.180 Totally dysfunctional, incapable of even maintaining its own existence.
00:48:38.100 To the extent the WNBA has any value at all from this point forward,
00:48:41.820 it will be to present this educational example, albeit inadvertently, to everyone who's watching.
00:48:48.080 unfortunately that means only about 50 people will get the message but the implosion is coming
00:48:53.520 one way or another and it's long overdue and for those of us who've been fighting the gender cult
00:48:58.940 for years now it'll be yet another victory in a string of them one that pushes trans ideology
00:49:04.440 ever closer to the ash heap of history where it belongs i'll do it for the show today thanks for
00:49:11.360 watching thanks for listening talk to you tomorrow have a great day godspeed
00:49:18.080 Once upon a time, there was a country.
00:49:24.940 Not just a country, but a big one, an empire.
00:49:27.940 And in that empire, there was an upper-middle-class family
00:49:30.420 who had two boys, who were raised by their mother,
00:49:33.760 who loved books, Uncle Tom's cabin, and the Bible.
00:49:37.260 Their father admired the country's leaders.
00:49:39.600 They were patriotic and happy.
00:49:41.640 Both sons went to universities where they were radicalized.
00:49:45.260 One of the brothers read a book
00:49:46.340 and convinced him to try to shoot the country's leader.
00:49:49.180 He was hanged.
00:49:50.440 The other brother, in the same books,
00:49:52.920 decided to lead a movement.
00:49:54.880 First they came from the universities,
00:49:56.620 and no one seemed to care.
00:49:58.380 Then they took over the unions,
00:49:59.480 and again, no one seemed to care.
00:50:01.160 Then they created their own media organizations
00:50:02.940 and took over the cities.
00:50:04.520 And again, most people just ignored it.
00:50:06.800 Change, after all, was something they could believe in
00:50:09.380 until it was too late.
00:50:11.500 Sound familiar?
00:50:12.820 This is the real history of communism,
00:50:15.200 of the Russian Revolution.
00:50:23.640 Recently, our company's softball team
00:50:25.640 lost the big game by one run.
00:50:27.960 Then Dale tried to console us with the quote,
00:50:30.420 winning isn't everything.
00:50:32.280 Well, Dale and I are very different.
00:50:35.960 I get early payout from Bet365.
00:50:37.880 If my team goes up big, I get paid out instantly,
00:50:40.700 even if they blow the lead later.
