00:00:00.000 Today on the show, the world's largest porn site, Pornhub, features literally billions of hours of
00:00:05.780 content, has hundreds of millions of users, and a sizable portion of that content is rape and 1.00
00:00:11.880 child porn. And a sizable number of those users are themselves very young children.
00:00:16.940 Now, are there any laws in place or any regulations penalizing Pornhub for this or
00:00:22.620 forcing them to block children from their site or to weed out the rape and child porn?
00:00:27.560 Not really, or at least if there are laws and regulations, they are not applied to Pornhub
00:00:32.660 in any meaningful way. Pornhub gets to be an exception to the kinds of rules and policies
00:00:37.780 and regulations that are in place for, for instance, things like liquor stores and those
00:00:43.040 sorts of companies. Now, I don't know. I want to talk about this today. I just, I have this crazy
00:00:47.580 idea. Maybe it's totally radical, but maybe Pornhub shouldn't be an exception. Maybe there should be
00:00:52.800 some really basic, minimal, at least regulations that would require Pornhub to, you know, not
00:01:02.560 actively market themselves to kids, that sort of thing. So we'll talk about that today.
00:01:08.240 Also, five headlines, including Biden's big wins last night. And also, I think more important,
00:01:14.460 or at least funnier, Biden nearly getting into a fistfight with a voter right before,
00:01:19.800 right as voting started. And we're going to talk about that. I have a take on Biden threatening
00:01:25.800 and cussing out voters that might be a little bit different from what you're going to hear from most
00:01:29.780 conservative people in media. And AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Well, I think I've canceled her 1.00
00:01:35.140 multiple times already, but she is the focal point of today's daily cancellation because of a video clip 1.00
00:01:41.460 of her that, I know you're used to seeing her say all kinds of dumb things, but this one really 0.89
00:01:47.880 might take the cake. This one, it might even surprise you a little bit. That's how dumb it 0.95
00:01:51.520 is. We're going to play that for you. Finally, your emails, including in our Why I'm Wrong 0.99
00:01:55.740 segment, an email from Jack who thinks that my show is terrible and boring. And I talk about
00:02:02.380 unimportant things that just don't matter at all. I need to find better and more important things to
00:02:07.880 talk about, he thinks. Maybe he's right. We'll find out today, all of that coming up. But first,
00:02:13.260 let's talk about ZipRecruiter. You know, with minimum wage hikes all over the country, it's making
00:02:20.040 it even more important that employers find candidates who are better than average because
00:02:25.180 the more you got to pay them, then that means that they need to come with the skills that can
00:02:30.000 justify that salary. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Hawaii is the state experiencing
00:02:35.840 the highest wage growth. But while higher wages attract more and better candidates, competition for
00:02:41.720 talent is very intense. So if you need to find the best candidates for your growing business,
00:02:47.780 ZipRecruiter is your smart, efficient hiring solution. From healthcare to manufacturing to
00:02:53.420 professional business services, whatever it is, ZipRecruiter makes hiring great people faster and
00:02:58.660 easier. And today, you can try ZipRecruiter for free at ZipRecruiter.com slash Walsh. When you go to

00:03:10.580 sites. What happens next? Well, ZipRecruiter finds the best matches for your job, invites them to
00:03:14.780 apply, and it's so effective that four out of five employers who post on ZipRecruiter get a quality
00:03:19.720 candidate within the first day. Four out of five, the first day they get at least one quality
00:03:25.540 candidate. So right now, to try ZipRecruiter for free, my listeners can go to ZipRecruiter.com

00:03:38.520 ZipRecruiter, the smartest way to hire. All right. So Pornhub is facing renewed criticism
00:03:48.040 for hosting thousands of videos of sexual assault and child abuse. And there are so many cases of
00:03:57.160 this that we could talk about with Pornhub. In just one case that I think is especially egregious,
00:04:03.440 58 videos were uploaded of a 15-year-old sex trafficking victim being raped on camera. There
00:04:09.720 were 58 videos of her being raped on Pornhub. And this is far from an isolated incident. There's 0.56
00:04:15.920 another woman who recently wrote a blog post talking about her own experience of being raped
00:04:21.140 at 14. And eventually she found multiple videos of her assault on Pornhub. And the videos she says
00:04:33.460 had titles like Teen Crying and Getting Slapped Around and Passed Out Teen. One of them had close
00:04:42.060 to half a million views on the site. Now she emailed, she says she emailed Pornhub multiple times
00:04:47.480 with increasing desperation, begging them, pleading with them to take this stuff down.
00:04:54.400 And they just ignored her. No response, totally ignored her. Then she got an idea. She sent a
00:04:59.720 message pretending to be a lawyer. And right away there was a response. They took the videos down.
00:05:05.940 These kinds of stories, again, are common and inevitable when you consider how Pornhub operates.
00:05:12.420 Pornhub lets anybody upload hardcore porn to their site. Now they claim they take careful
00:05:19.060 steps to weed out rape and child porn. That is clearly not the case. We know that is not the
00:05:24.920 case. We know they're lying. And it's not like the content hangs out on the dimly lit fringes of
00:05:32.660 Pornhub. That's one of the ways we know they're lying. Teen is one of Pornhub's most popular search
00:05:38.680 terms. And they're proud of that. Every year they release this infographic where they talk about
00:05:46.440 how many billions of hours people spent watching porn on their platform, how many users bragging
00:05:53.880 about all the great success they're having. They also will openly tell you what the most common
00:05:59.180 search terms were. And they tell you. Teen is one of them. And they have no problem with that
00:06:03.400 at all. Now, of course, companies that make millions of dollars off of this stuff will insist
00:06:10.940 that the rape videos are only pretend rape. And the 13-year-old girls in the teen videos are really
00:06:19.780 18-year-olds dressed up to look like high school freshmen. But we know for a fact that that isn't
00:06:26.860 the case. And even if it were the case, even if it were, well, then still, I would think that
00:06:33.940 hopefully we could agree there are some very serious ethical problems with feeding the rape 1.00
00:06:39.240 and child abuse fantasies of would-be pedophiles. Because if you go looking for videos like that,
00:06:46.540 rape videos, a video of someone who looks 13, you can't say, oh, it's just pretend. First of all,
00:06:52.020 how do you know? You don't, is the answer. And second of all, why do you want to see that even
00:06:57.780 in pretend mode? You're one step away from a pedophile. You obviously find that appealing. 0.98
00:07:07.300 That should tell you something about yourself. It should tell us something about Pornhub that they
00:07:11.360 happily cater to that group. Yet, this is only one facet of the problem when it comes to Pornhub
00:07:20.240 and sites like it. The other issue is that anybody at all, of any age, can visit these domains and
00:07:27.900 easily access billions of hours of filth and depravity, stuff that is so vile. I was reading
00:07:35.980 a story recently about detectives, police detectives, who have PTSD from having to wade through a lot of
00:07:44.460 this stuff in order to find and prosecute child porn. And we need people to do that. Pornhub's
00:07:52.660 not doing it. They don't care. But if we're going to prosecute child porn, which hopefully we all agree
00:07:58.680 they should, that we need people to go and find this stuff and imagine what they have to sit and watch
00:08:05.560 to find it. But our kids at eight years old can easily fall into that world too. Nothing's stopping
00:08:15.640 them whatsoever. There is no age verification conducted by Pornhub. None. They don't even
00:08:24.320 pretend to try. Now, many gambling sites, before anyone says, well, what are they supposed to do?
00:08:31.720 There's a lot they could do. Many other sites do have age verification. Gambling sites, for example,
00:08:39.400 require many of them a driver's license, a passport, a picture of one to ensure that people are of age.
00:08:46.420 Now, there are more stringent methods taken by some sites where, because of course, you know, you could
00:08:52.600 always grab your brother's ID and take a picture of that. Well, there are other sites that say you need
00:08:59.200 a picture of the ID with your face right now. You need to take a selfie of yourself holding your ID,
00:09:05.380 things like that. Now, can that be manipulated? Yes, it can. But many people are going to find a way
00:09:12.640 around that. Many other people won't, though. So you are going to keep a lot of people out who otherwise
00:09:18.400 you would not have kept out. Cryptocurrency exchanges use similar measures. Stock trading sites,
00:09:25.440 even sites. Now, I know this as someone who, as a bourbon fan, you know, I like to go and look at
00:09:34.180 reviews of new bourbons that I'm going to try. And if I go to a bourbon review site, inevitably,
00:09:42.960 there's going to be a prompt that comes up and says, are you over the age of 21? And if you say no,
00:09:47.880 it kicks you right out of the site. And that's just to read about alcohol, okay? To read about alcohol,
00:09:54.860 requires age verification. Obviously, easily circumvented. I could just say, yes, I'm over
00:10:01.980 21 when I'm not. But the point is, Pornhub doesn't even do that much. They don't even do that.
00:10:09.440 They do less than what a bourbon review site does.
00:10:13.220 They make absolutely no effort whatsoever to keep kids away from hardcore rape porn on their site.
00:10:20.780 And that should concern all of us in a country where eight-year-olds, on average, are being exposed
00:10:25.280 to porn. In fact, the situation is worse than Pornhub simply making no effort to protect kids.
00:10:31.300 On the contrary, they market themselves to underage kids. I want to show you this. Take a look at this.
00:10:36.620 This was, I think, an Instagram post of theirs recently.
00:10:41.860 And talking about referencing people going on Pornhub after their parents leave.
00:10:51.540 Well, who do you think this is targeted to? You got Baby Yoda there talking about going to look at
00:10:56.980 porn when your parents leave the house. Who do you think this is a marketing tool? Advertising.
00:11:02.020 Who are they advertising to? Do you think they're advertising to 19-year-olds? Are they
00:11:05.740 advertising to 35-year-old men who live with their parents? I mean, I fully believe that people in
00:11:14.080 that camp watch a lot of porn. But you think that's who they're primarily targeting there? No.
00:11:20.240 Unless you're very stupid. Unless you're willingly stupid. You know they are marketing that. That is 1.00
00:11:24.620 advertisement to underage kids. And they're allowed to do it. Do you think a cigarette company
00:11:31.340 could get away with that anymore? Not even close. Do you think an alcohol company could get away with
00:11:37.860 that? Now, you might say that they find other ways of marketing to kids, and I'm sure they do. But
00:11:42.680 they can't be that explicit about it. I mean, imagine that exact advertisement, except from Budweiser.
00:11:52.600 And it's a picture of Baby Yoda drinking a beer. Right after my parents leave the house and he's
00:11:59.220 drinking a beer. Do you think that would ever happen? I mean, they'd be sued to kingdom come if
00:12:06.760 they put an ad like that out. Pornhub can do it, though. Pornhub's an exception. Why are they an
00:12:12.640 exception? Nobody can explain why. They just are. They get to be an exception. Only a nation of
00:12:20.160 impotent cowards and emasculated narcissists who care more about protecting their sacred 1.00
00:12:28.740 masturbation material than they do about protecting kids would sit back and allow smut peddlers this kind 1.00
00:12:36.780 of free reign, as if they have some sort of God-given natural right to show gangbang videos
00:12:42.840 to third graders. The good news is, we don't have to allow it. And you don't have to agree with my
00:12:52.240 previously stated views on banning porn to agree, because I'm putting that aside. Okay, let's try to,
00:12:57.560 and I know that I'm very much in a minority with that view. Doesn't mean I'm wrong. I don't care about
00:13:05.120 being in a minority. I find that oftentimes, I find it's more likely that if you find yourself
00:13:09.760 in the majority in this culture on an issue, it's more likely you're wrong on that end. But
00:13:13.380 put that aside. Doesn't matter. We're not talking about that. You don't have to agree with me on
00:13:18.340 that. Put that completely to the side. You should still be able to agree that sites like Pornhub
00:13:24.540 should at least be subject to minimal regulations to prevent them from profiting off of the abuse and
00:13:30.400 corruption exploitation of children. Now, few of us, with the exception of absolutist libertarians,
00:13:36.860 with the exception of the kind of people who still think that Atlas Shrugged was a literary
00:13:41.760 masterpiece, with the exception of those people, few of us would argue that it's some sort of tyranny
00:13:48.660 or oppression to require liquor stores to verify the age of their customers. Does anybody really get
00:13:55.120 upset about that? Do you feel like your freedoms are under assault? When you go in to buy a beer and the
00:13:59.720 person in the guest says, can I see an ID? You say, my freedoms, my freedoms, I'm not free when
00:14:05.200 you ask. No, nobody says that. You just show your ID. It's not a big deal.
00:14:11.500 And even though we think parents should be trying to stop their kids from binge drinking,
00:14:18.340 we would all agree on that. This is a parenting thing primarily. The first line of defense 0.93
00:14:24.580 when stopping a kid from becoming a binge drinker is the parents. But even so, companies that sell
00:14:32.380 alcohol should bear some responsibility. If an eight-year-old walks into the quick stop
00:14:37.440 and comes out with 40 ounces of malt liquor in his hand, you know, you could say that he means that
00:14:43.860 means he has bad parents. Fine. That doesn't justify the neglect of the person behind the counter
00:14:49.940 who chose to sell that product to someone who is clearly under age and made no attempt whatsoever
00:14:58.520 to verify the age. So bad parents doesn't justify that. Maybe he does that. Okay. He has bad parents.
00:15:07.140 Okay. Fine. He has bad parents. Yes. So what do we say to the kid? Screw you. We're nothing.
00:15:13.980 Well, you're out of luck, kid. No protection whatsoever. If you have bad parents, you have
00:15:19.780 no protection. We're doing nothing for you. Is that the message we send as a society? No.
00:15:24.480 And nobody actually thinks that should be the message, which is why we all agree, unless we're
00:15:30.440 insane, we all agree that someone at a liquor store who sells liquor to an eight-year-old should be
00:15:37.640 prosecuted. As previously stated, we even expect other kinds of websites to do this and nobody has
00:15:48.820 a problem with it. I don't see anyone complaining that it's a dystopia we're living in because you
00:15:56.120 have to verify your age to go on a stock trading site. Why should Pornhub be an exception? What makes
00:16:03.360 them special, other than the fact that a lot of people like porn? As has been proposed in other
00:16:10.880 countries, like Australia, for example, a law could and should be passed requiring sites like Pornhub to
00:16:18.620 make some attempt to verify a user's age. We all understand that no age verification system will be
00:16:25.420 perfect. They can be circumvented, but any system is a hell of a lot better than no system,
00:16:31.420 especially if that system requires a photo ID, a credit card, something like that. Alternatively,
00:16:37.240 as has also been proposed, adults who wish to access porn could be required to opt in with their
00:16:42.960 internet service provider. You put all the porn on a .xx domain, you got to call your net service
00:16:48.640 provider, you opt in, and that would take the privacy concerns. You might say, well, I don't want
00:16:53.700 to give my ID and my credit card to a porn company. I don't have a lot of sympathy for that. If you
00:16:58.920 really want that content, then, I mean, if you're going to support a site like Pornhub
00:17:04.640 that makes millions of dollars on child porn, which is what they do and they do it on purpose,
00:17:11.540 if you're going to support them, then, you know, honestly, the fact that you'll be inconvenienced
00:17:15.340 or have to worry about identity theft, I don't really care about that. But we don't even need
00:17:20.040 to do that. There are other ways. Opt in. I mean, there are a lot of, and I've just mentioned a
00:17:27.100 couple of different ways, but there are other ways too. If we as a society decided this was
00:17:31.860 a priority, this is something we wanted to do, we could easily do it. And in order to cut back on
00:17:39.480 the rape and child porn on the platform, Pornhub could be required by law to block search terms
00:17:44.980 that are directly related to that kind of content. And don't give me the free speech thing. It's not
00:17:50.440 free speech to go online and pursue rape videos. That's not free speech. 1.00
00:17:57.880 You should not be able to upload a video titled Passed Out Teen, and you shouldn't be able to
00:18:04.040 search for a video like that. Sex with a passed out teen is rape. It would be very easy, very easy 1.00
00:18:12.280 for Pornhub to filter out videos that explicitly advertise themselves as rape videos. It's right
00:18:19.660 there in the title saying, hey, this is a rape video. Pornhub could easily find that stuff and 0.91
00:18:25.760 get rid of it. They don't because they have no interest in, because they'd rather make the money
00:18:30.620 on it, because they're degenerate, filthy scumbags running that site. And they don't do it because 0.99
00:18:36.680 the law doesn't require them to do it. I'm not advocating for a big brother dystopia. I'm not saying
00:18:45.920 the government should parent my kids. I'm not trying to legislate morality. So maybe we could
00:18:51.480 put all of those dumb, cliched slogans to the side. I'm talking about basic, reasonable, not terribly 0.98
00:18:59.800 onerous measures that would put sites like Pornhub right in line with other companies that sell
00:19:04.360 products we have deemed unsuitable for children. Sure. And before you give me the reasonable
00:19:15.760 regulations, that sounds like the kind of thing that people who support gun control advocate for.
00:19:21.680 Yes, except that gun control is a right guaranteed in the Second Amendment. Hardcore rape porn is not a 0.87
00:19:29.440 right guaranteed. But more to the point, yes, a common sense regulation, like for instance, that
00:19:36.820 a gun, you know, someone selling guns should have to, you know, can't sell a handgun to a child.
00:19:44.140 That is a common sense regulation I agree with. I hope we all do. Of course. So how about let's just
00:19:51.360 get to that point with Pornhub. My point is they don't even have to do that. All of these other
00:19:59.420 companies that provide products that we all agree children should not have access to, all of them
00:20:05.840 have to do things, very basic things. They don't have to go way above and beyond. It's not like a
00:20:12.060 liquor store has to call every time someone comes in, they got to, they got to, you know, call a
00:20:15.500 reference or check your resume. Just a basic thing you have to do. It doesn't stop all the underage 1.00
00:20:22.020 kids. It does stop some of them. And maybe some, you know, those of us who have been underage,
00:20:27.820 as we all have been, you know, maybe we, there, there were certainly times when we were able to
00:20:32.020 circumvent those procedures at liquor stores. There were other times when we weren't able to.
00:20:35.440 So it did work sometimes at least. Pornhub doesn't have to do anything. Why should they be the only
00:20:45.040 ones? Why should the porn industry be the only industry that is not required to take any measures
00:20:53.340 whatsoever to keep kids away from their product that is not suitable for them? Doesn't make any
00:20:59.600 sense. Yes. I would prefer to burn the porn industry to the ground and salt the earth with
00:21:05.860 its, with its ashes. That's what I would prefer to do. So guilty as charged, but I don't think you 0.99
00:21:12.780 need to hold that position. You don't need to agree with me on that to see that Pornhub is harming
00:21:17.420 kids and monetizing that harm. And they're doing it on purpose and they have no right to do it.
00:21:24.500 And we could take steps to at least put obstacles and barriers in the way and get a, get, get,
00:21:31.440 get a handle on some of the problem. We could take those steps. There is no good reason not to.
00:21:38.260 Time is running out to get a 25% off. Great. Another great segue by me. Time is running out to get 25%
00:21:45.820 off all Daily Wire membership plans using coupon code, never socialist. This is the last week we're

00:22:54.820 So join now. That's dailywire.com slash subscribe. Okay. So headlines. Number one, mini, mini,
00:23:00.320 mini Super Tuesday, I guess. I don't know if that's what we're calling it, but it happened yesterday.
00:23:04.380 Joe Biden took a commanding lead in the delegate count. He won four more states, including Michigan,
00:23:09.980 which is a state that Bernie Sanders won in 2016, not this time. So this is being, being hailed or
00:23:16.520 more depending on where you're coming from it as the death knell of Bernie's campaign. Biden now has
00:23:23.660 837 delegates, which puts him almost halfway to what he needs for the nomination. Don't check my
00:23:30.080 math on that. You need 1,991 for the nomination. So he's got 837. Brian Williams says that means he
00:23:39.560 needs 46 million more delegates. I'm not really sure. But it isn't over for Bernie Sanders. Don't
00:23:45.200 be too upset. He may have gotten routed last night and on Super Tuesday. He may be losing states he won
00:23:51.800 in 2016. He may not get the nomination, but he'll be back in 2024 at the age of 83. I think we all know
00:23:58.340 that. They'll wheel him in there. And then when he's 87, he'll be back again. As long as he is
00:24:05.140 physically able to say one word, billionaire, or maybe two, billionaire bad. If he can say those
00:24:12.020 two words, if he can somehow get those words out, or even just do it through sign language,
00:24:17.220 that his campaign will live on because that is his entire campaign. That's it. That's all he's got.
00:24:22.300 Number two, speaking of Michigan, this also happened in Michigan. Joe Biden yesterday got into a heated
00:24:27.260 exchange with a voter about his policies on guns. And it's a sight to behold. Look at this.
00:24:34.400 I support the Second Amendment. Second Amendment, just like right now, if you yell fire, that's not
00:24:51.240 free speech. But to the very beginning, I have a shotgun. I have a 20-gauge, 12-gauge. My son's
00:24:58.320 hung. Guess what? You're not allowed to own any weapons. I'm not taking your gun away at all.
00:25:04.400 You need a hundred rounds. I did not say that. That's not true. I did not say that. It's a viral video like the other ones are putting out.
00:25:13.660 So he says, it might be a little bit hard to hear there, but he says, you're full of S to the guy. Don't try me, pal. You want to go outside?
00:25:32.660 He really says that. Don't be a horse's ass. And this is all because the voter is asking him some 1.00
00:25:48.820 very good, basic, reasonable questions about his gun control policies. Now, I know this puts me outside the
00:25:58.620 general conservative consensus on this, as I am with most things. But I maintain, I insist, that Joe Biden
00:26:05.600 is never more relatable or likable than when he's getting in shouting matches with random people and
00:26:11.720 cussing them out. That's the only time I like Joe Biden is in those moments. These are the things that
00:26:17.420 upset people the most, especially conservatives. Conservatives were going nuts about this online
00:26:21.900 yesterday. Just absolutely nuts. Really upset and angry. And I'm thinking, this is the only thing about 0.61
00:26:28.160 him I like. Maybe I'm crazy. Or maybe this is how I argue with my friends. When we get into a
00:26:35.360 debate about something, it pretty much always goes there. Eventually, somebody's threatening to punch
00:26:40.400 somebody. It might also be an Irish thing. I think Biden is of Irish descent. I'm not sure about
00:26:46.620 that. But he acts like it sometimes. And so it might be an Irish thing, too. There's a lot of
00:26:55.560 passion that comes out in an argument. Violent threats are made, rarely followed up on. It's part
00:27:01.880 of the language. It's how we speak. Now, what I'll say is, whether you agree with me on that or not,
00:27:08.440 I think this is much more preferable to, you know, I would prefer this, this, hey, you're being a 0.99
00:27:15.900 horse's ass. Shut up. You want to take this outside, pal? Why? I'll give you a knuckle sandwich. And of 1.00
00:27:21.820 course, the other great thing is that, as always, he makes threats as if he's Dick Tracy or something,
00:27:26.860 as if he's in a 1950s detective movie. But I'd prefer that over what you normally get from candidates,
00:27:35.300 which is when they're talking to the middle class and blue collar voters. It's the middle class is
00:27:41.140 the backbone of America. They're perfect in every way. I love you in the middle class. You're so
00:27:46.040 great. I wish I was in the middle class. There's nothing better than the middle class. All of you
00:27:51.340 are so awesome. Come here, middle class. Let me give you a kiss and hug. Come here. I paraphrasing what
00:27:57.920 almost every candidate says to the middle class as a member of the middle class myself. I'm not into
00:28:03.020 that. I'm not into it on several different levels. I don't need that. I don't need you sucking up to
00:28:08.760 me. I don't need you to pretend that being middle class is the ultimate dream. It's the goal of it. 0.98
00:28:15.400 No, nobody, you know, we're all in the middle class just by default. Nobody gets to middle class
00:28:21.560 and says, yep, this is all I want. I'm good here. Or I think very few people do. And even the people
00:28:28.000 who are content, which I think contentment is good, but it's not like their goal was to be
00:28:32.980 middle class. Right? So I don't need that. I would much prefer Biden's approach. At least it's 0.99
00:28:40.200 authentic. And it's also hilarious. So I'm not clutching my pearls over this. Number three in
00:28:47.600 coronavirus news, reading from a report in the LA Times, it says an analysis of the novel coronavirus
00:28:52.820 is spread inside the United States suggests that thousands of Americans are already infected,
00:28:57.820 dimming the prospects for stomping out the outbreak in its earliest stages.
00:29:02.820 Researchers estimate that by March 1st, the virus had already infected about 1000 to 10,000 people
00:29:07.860 have not yet been accounted for, released into a country of about 330 million. Each of these,
00:29:15.740 it talks about the small group of travelers who came here with coronavirus. And it says each of these
00:29:21.460 travelers was assumed to have passed the virus to two to two and a half people, each of whom in turn
00:29:25.960 infected another two to two and a half and so on and so on, towed up the nodes on this rapidly branching
00:29:30.700 network of contacts and the numbers of victims balloons quickly, the researchers wrote. Of course,
00:29:36.080 it makes sense that there are way more cases than being reported. And on the positive end of that,
00:29:41.020 as we've discussed, it probably means the mortality rate is much lower than what they are reporting.
00:29:45.660 But I do wonder about the logic here of assuming that each person passes it to two people on and
00:29:51.800 on and on, because that doesn't seem to account for a change in behavior. Aren't these estimates not
00:29:58.620 taking into account the increased awareness and even paranoia over the disease that might change
00:30:03.720 people's behavior and stop them from passing it on to the requisite two people? I don't know.
00:30:07.900 It just, it seems like you have to account for that. Number four, also on the subject of the coronavirus,
00:30:11.780 people are finding, uh, novel ways to protect themselves from the virus as this local news
00:30:18.320 report shows. And don't nobody want their child to be sick and don't nobody want to take that virus
00:30:22.920 to their house. Parents with children at Treadwell Middle and elementary schools are not playing
00:30:27.640 around. Many wiped their kids down and some even sprayed them with disinfectant spray as they took
00:30:32.980 them home Monday. And I wiped my children backpack down when I got them out of school, sure did,
00:30:37.200 gave them gloves, sure did. Parents are doing this after they found out an employee who works
00:30:41.780 at Treadwell Middle and elementary came in contact with a person who tested positive for the
00:30:45.980 coronavirus in Memphis. Some took more extreme measures. Two garbage bags. My shoes and came in
00:30:54.820 loose. Two sacks. Another sack. While the SES employee is quarantined, the district is focusing
00:31:02.040 on making sure everything is clean. Still, family members tell me they don't want their kids in
00:31:07.360 school. It's messed up. The flu killed them all folks in the area, so what's up? We're gonna die
00:31:13.320 anyway. You know, I have to say, I don't feel too protected by this. It just doesn't. I feel maybe I
00:31:21.620 need to spray Lysol directly in my face as well, like the, uh, like the dad was doing to his son,
00:31:26.460 which doesn't seem too healthy. But this right here, I guess it's better than nothing. But I feel like
00:31:32.320 there are a lot of access points still for the coronavirus to get in here. Uh, number five, the
00:31:37.300 headline in the New York Post, I'll just give you the headline in the New York Post. This is all I'm
00:31:41.000 giving you. Headline is, coronavirus conference canceled in New York because of coronavirus. And I
00:31:47.080 was gonna go on and explain what this story is about, but I think we can just leave it there.
00:31:50.280 They canceled the coronavirus conference because they realized that the coronavirus exists.
00:31:55.100 One of the coronavirus conference organizers said to the other one, hey, have you heard about this
00:31:59.340 thing called the coronavirus? It's pretty contagious. And the other one said, coronavirus,
00:32:03.120 no, I hadn't heard about that. Well, I guess we should cancel the coronavirus conference.
00:32:06.360 And that's how that ended up happening, but pretty smart decision. All right. Um, now let's go to
00:32:10.900 your, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna, I thought about wearing the bag for the entire show, but I'm not
00:32:16.160 gonna do that. Um, not safe either. Don't try that at home, kids. Don't put bags over your head.
00:32:23.720 Much, much, much greater likelihood of, of, of suffocating on a bag over your head than,
00:32:27.440 than dying of coronavirus. I think we probably agree. Now, um, this feels like almost like
00:32:32.360 cheating, honestly, but I'm, I'm pretty sure I've canceled her already probably multiple times,
00:32:36.760 but today we're canceling AOC again because of this. Honestly, it sounds almost so silly to say,
00:32:46.620 but there's a lot of restaurants that are feeling the pain of racism, uh, where people are literally
00:32:52.680 not patroning Chinese restaurants. Um, they're not patroning Asian restaurants because of just
00:32:59.460 straight up racism around the coronavirus. Okay. So a few, a few problems here, just, just a few.
00:33:04.840 Um, she made about five errors, five significant errors in 20 seconds. So that's one, about one every
00:33:11.420 five seconds, which is consistent with her overall average. First, Chinese is not a race. I want
00:33:19.320 everyone to get that through their heads. All of the race baiting, um, leftists who are trying to
00:33:25.340 get it, find racism in the coronavirus thing. Chinese is not a race. You can't be racist against
00:33:33.220 Chinese people. There are many different ethnicities in China and to lump them all together.
00:33:40.760 Well, if anything, that's racist. If anything, second patroning is not a word. The word you're
00:33:48.820 searching for, Alexandra is patronizing. And I don't mean to be patronizing when I tell you this, but
00:33:55.300 patronizing. Patroning would be spelled P-A-T-R-O-N-I-N-G, which would be pronounced
00:34:03.140 patroning. And it would involve, I suppose, dumping Patron tequila over somebody's head.
00:34:08.200 That's a patroning. When you've done that, you've patroned somebody. Third, you can't be racist against
00:34:13.340 a restaurant or a type of food. If people are worried, even irrationally worried, that there
00:34:19.760 might be a disease at a particular restaurant, it's not racist to avoid that restaurant.
00:34:25.600 And even leaving aside the fact that China isn't a race, restaurants aren't a race either, and neither
00:34:31.320 is a food. Food doesn't have race. So it's not bigoted to avoid a place where you think you might
00:34:36.220 be exposed to a disease. Fourth, people are avoiding restaurants in general. So this is not
00:34:43.300 anything unique. If I decided not to go to Olive Garden tonight, is that bigoted against Italian
00:34:48.220 people? Is this an attack on Italians? No, if anything, it's an attack on Italians to go to
00:34:53.300 Olive Garden. And fifth point, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is an enormously stupid individual. 1.00
00:35:00.460 And sixth, she's canceled. Again. Until next week, when we'll cancel her once again. We'll just do it. 1.00
00:35:08.160 We'll do it a weekly. She'll be a weekly feature. Okay, let's go to emails. And you can email the
00:35:13.920 show. You can access the mailbag by becoming a member, become a Daily Wire member, as we've just
00:35:18.180 discussed. This is from Matthew. Says, hi, Matt. I really enjoyed your new book. As a recently married
00:35:25.160 Catholic, I found it to be a fountain for conversation with my new wife. I've never read a faith book that
00:35:30.400 wasn't written by C.S. Lewis. So thank you for writing something that's compelling, challenging,
00:35:33.560 and humorous. Keep up the good work, fighting for Catholicism, culture, and conservatism.
00:35:37.620 You give me positive support daily in your podcast, and we keep you and your family in our prayers.
00:35:42.060 Thank you for that. It's unfortunate that you had to have the same name as me, because now it's
00:35:46.240 going to sound like I wrote that complimentary email to myself. And yes, I would be dumb enough to 0.97
00:35:50.200 write a fake email to myself with my own name. From Anonymous, when you first started this porn 0.97
00:35:57.420 crusade, I thought you were crazy. But the more you talked about it, the more I began to think for
00:36:00.960 myself. I'm trying to quit porn now, and because of you, I made the decision to research and come
00:36:05.860 to the conclusion it wasn't healthy for me. You're doing a good thing. Don't let people tell you
00:36:09.640 otherwise. Not that you would. Ha ha. Well, the fact that you thought I was crazy, but you listened
00:36:14.420 anyway, and actually gave my arguments consideration, I'm grateful for that. I wish more people would do it,
00:36:20.820 not just with me, but in general. You hear something, you think it's crazy. Well, let me hear it out. Let me at least
00:36:25.840 listen to the argument. Maybe it is crazy, but let me at least listen. The fact that you did that is
00:36:31.360 great. Now, this email segment has been way too warm and cozy and agreeable so far. So let's stop
00:36:36.860 with the kumbaya stuff, and let's get to why I'm wrong. This is a why I'm wrong email of sorts.
00:36:43.380 Not really taking issue with my arguments, as far as I can tell, but more with my topic selection,
00:36:48.260 my general approach, everything about me. It's more about me as a person than it is about my arguments.
00:36:54.440 Okay, this is from Jack, says, we get it. You don't like porn, though I think you protest a
00:36:59.880 little too much, and you don't like drag queens, and you don't like abortion. If you're wondering 0.52
00:37:04.380 why your show isn't as popular as the others, maybe it's because you go on and on about this
00:37:08.460 bull S nobody cares about. How many times are you going to rant and rave about porn? There are so 0.94
00:37:15.900 many issues in the world, and this is what you decide to go on about. If you don't like porn,
00:37:19.540 don't watch it, all caps. You don't need to go on a holy crusade over it. I know you don't care about
00:37:27.000 my opinion. You don't care about anyone's opinion, but maybe you should consider other people's
00:37:31.300 perspective besides your own for a change. Nobody wants to hear you talk about porn every day or
00:37:35.620 drag queens or see your articles about it every day. Give it a rest and find something else to talk 1.00
00:37:39.940 about, and then maybe people will care about your show. Just a thought, and by the way,
00:37:44.160 I'm a conservative telling you this. Jack, thank you for the email. I want to stop and think about
00:37:52.560 this for a second. How many shows have I done? That's not a rhetorical question. I really don't
00:38:00.660 know the answer. I think it's 400 something, maybe 450. 450, I think, about there. How many articles
00:38:08.080 have I written total since I started doing this? I mean, going back to before the Daily Wire.
00:38:12.400 I assume this email that you wrote was about my article on Pornhub that I wrote yesterday,
00:38:16.900 because obviously you sent it before I did my show about it. And you should know by now that
00:38:23.280 the best way to get me to do a show on a topic is to send me an email telling me to stop doing
00:38:27.180 shows on that topic. So how many articles? I don't know how many articles I've written in my life
00:38:33.380 ever since I had a platform and I've been in this position, whatever that position is. So I don't
00:38:40.180 know, maybe 3,000 articles. That's a conservative estimate, roughly. Let's just call it that. Let's
00:38:46.620 call it 3,000. So 450 shows, 3,000 articles, give or take. Between these two mediums, how many of them
00:38:54.800 do you think were about porn? Or not even about porn? I mean, in how many of those did I even
00:39:01.380 mention porn? I can tell you it's not 3,450. Not anywhere even close to that. I'd say I've maybe
00:39:10.720 done five or six shows about porn out of 450. Maybe. And you can check me on that. Maybe five or six.
00:39:18.340 Total on the subject. And I've written maybe 10 articles about it. Total. We could even call it
00:39:28.400 20. It's not 20, but we could call it that. So out of thousands of articles, 20 have been about porn.
00:39:34.500 Out of hundreds of shows, five or six have been about porn. So talk about it every day? Not even
00:39:40.560 close. Not even in the vicinity of the ballpark of close. I don't come anywhere close to talking
00:39:48.880 about it every day. So it's not that you're upset that I talk about it every day. You're upset,
00:39:54.900 and be honest about this, you're upset that I talk about it at all. Not every day. At all. You don't
00:40:01.140 want to hear about it at all. You cannot tolerate any discussion of the dangers of porn or its effect
00:40:07.340 on people and kids especially. You don't want any time devoted to it at all. And I know that
00:40:12.780 because I devote very little time to it, probably a lot less than I should, and it's too much for you.
00:40:19.580 In fact, it's so much that it seems to you like I talk about it every day when it's not even close
00:40:24.560 to that. So what does that say about you? Which one of us has the issue here? Which one of us has an
00:40:32.840 unhealthy fixation? Is it the guy who's produced hundreds of hours of content and thousands
00:40:37.320 of pages of articles and dedicated a small fraction of them to the porn problem? Or is
00:40:41.360 it the guy who can't even stomach that small fraction? Which one of us do you think?
00:40:47.740 As for the gender stuff, the drag queens, abortion, sure, I certainly talk about those, 1.00
00:40:51.940 especially abortion, far more often. Why? Well, because 60 million babies have been killed by
00:40:56.800 abortion since Roe v. Wade. I tend to think that's pretty important. In fact, I can't think of an issue
00:41:02.000 that's more important than 60 million babies dead. As for the gender stuff, drag queens and everything, 1.00
00:41:06.620 why do I talk about that? Because it represents the sexual exploitation of children, the corruption
00:41:10.280 of children. It's an assault on reality and common sense and science and decency. And I consider that
00:41:16.080 to be rather important too. Let me ask you this, and I'm picking on you a little bit, only because
00:41:20.300 you're sort of an avatar right now for me of the many people who write to me or leave comments or send
00:41:26.900 messages, on and on, and have done so over the years, telling me exactly what you're telling me.
00:41:32.940 So I know that you're not alone. There are others that feel the same way, that you talk about this
00:41:38.960 stuff too much. Well, let me ask you, or anyone who feels this way, what would you have me talk
00:41:45.020 about instead every day? Take out all the time I've spent on these topics and replace it with what
00:41:49.860 exactly? What issues are more important? What issues are more important to you in your mind and are not
00:41:56.900 talked about enough already? Politics? You want me to get on here every day and say, blah, blah,
00:42:03.260 Dems are bad. The Trump is under attack. Blah, blah, blah. Let's do another show on the attack
00:42:10.000 on Trump. The media doesn't like Trump. Trump, Trump, Trump. Now something tells me if I did that every
00:42:15.640 day, if I was like other conservative media people, fortunately none here at the Daily Wire, because I
00:42:20.480 really do love the other shows. And I think there's a wide, you know, the other guys are thoughtful and
00:42:26.140 interesting. And I think we provide a pretty diverse array of ideas and approaches and perspectives and
00:42:31.440 everything. But there are plenty of conservative media people who every single day, all they do,
00:42:37.420 all they ever do is talk Trump and politics, Trump and politics, Trump and politics. Would that be
00:42:43.280 better? Something tells me if I did that, you wouldn't be complaining. In fact, I can't help but
00:42:48.640 notice that people on Twitter, some of them who say stuff to me that you say, that I talk about
00:42:54.220 porn every day or whatever, drag queens, abortion, even though I don't. Some of those same people 1.00
00:42:58.180 every day, they retweet and share the same dull, tired, redundant political talking points. The Dems
00:43:04.260 hate America. They hate America. The media is bad. Which they do, of course. They do hate America.
00:43:10.340 And the media is bad. And I've said that too. And I talk about that. But you want me to say that
00:43:14.560 every day? Do you need that every single day? The same thing over and over and over again? Is that
00:43:20.680 the content you want? Here's why this annoys me. And it's got nothing to do with wanting you to like
00:43:25.840 my show because you're right. I don't care if you do or not. But it annoys me because
00:43:32.000 leaving my content out of it. So many conservatives still do not understand that there are deeper
00:43:40.500 issues than politics. That politics is further up the tree. It's not at the root. If you're talking
00:43:47.520 politics, and I'm not saying we should never talk politics, but when you do that, you're chopping away
00:43:51.940 at twigs and branches. You are not at the root. The issues pertaining to life, marriage, gender, family,
00:43:59.260 children, even pop culture, and yes, pornography, these issues are far more important. They have a far
00:44:05.280 greater effect on people, on culture, on society, and our trajectory and future as a civilization.
00:44:10.700 They just do. These issues I talk about. I mean, maybe you've noticed. I've been alive for 33 years.
00:44:17.780 We've had Republican presidents, Democrat presidents. It hasn't really made that much of a difference.
00:44:22.560 We still are marching along the same trajectory, going on the same path as a culture. It hasn't really
00:44:28.140 mattered that much. The issues that I talk about that you've decided you don't want to hear about,
00:44:35.060 the issues that I'm too obsessed about in your mind, they're way more important than whatever
00:44:39.640 else you think I should be harping on. If you can't see that, if you don't understand that,
00:44:43.380 if you still don't see that after all this time and after all this evidence, you are part of the
00:44:47.740 reason why the left has won the culture and conservatives are left scavenging for crumbs
00:44:52.440 and talking about political BS. You're part of the reason why the left has won the culture so
00:44:58.140 convincingly, so completely, that I say we should put some basic regulations on the porn industry to
00:45:03.260 stop them from marketing to children and so-called conservatives join the left in resisting that.
00:45:10.140 It's astounding. I mean, they beat you. Jack, you join them. They beat you. They own you.
00:45:17.980 You are their lackey. They have you. When you're sitting there saying, let's not attack the porn
00:45:25.020 industry. I don't care about abortion. You are theirs. And I don't care how much you talk about 1.00
00:45:29.840 Trump or how much you like Trump. You are theirs. They own you. They beat you.
00:45:37.320 Here's the interesting thing I want you to think about in closing.
00:45:41.180 All the people who tell me the issues I talk about don't matter and aren't important.
00:45:45.880 You know who those people are? They're never leftists. I get a lot of blowback from leftists,
00:45:52.840 as you might expect. And why do you think I get so much, by the way?
00:45:58.060 Do you think these media people who only ever talk about Trump, do you think they get a fraction
00:46:01.740 of what I get? They don't. I can tell you that right now. They don't.
00:46:06.880 Why is that? Well, the leftists, when they send me their hate mail,
00:46:13.760 and I can show you the receipts, they don't tell me, stop talking about abortion. It doesn't matter.
00:46:20.640 They don't tell me, stop talking about porn. It doesn't matter. They don't even tell me that
00:46:24.680 the drag queens and the trans stuff and the gender, they don't say it doesn't matter.
00:46:28.320 No, the exact opposite. They say, well, I read to you some of the stuff they said about me.
00:46:34.980 You're a threat to the lives of LGBT people. This is a danger. That's the way they go. 1.00
00:46:44.560 They don't say it doesn't matter. The only people who are dumb enough to say it doesn't matter are 1.00
00:46:50.860 the conservatives. And that's why we lose and have lost. Because we're the only ones dumb enough 1.00
00:46:58.300 to think that issues that pertain to life and family and kids don't matter. 1.00
00:47:11.000 We're the only ones stupid enough to say that. And it's just stupidity that I'm tired. I can't 1.00
00:47:17.380 stomach it. You want to talk about not being able to stomach things. I can't stomach that anymore.
00:47:20.860 We got to wake the hell up because we're losing and we're going to continue to lose
00:47:30.320 unless we realize, come to the realization that this stuff really does matter.
00:47:37.160 And the fact that our kids are watching porn at the age of eight, it really, really matters.
00:47:44.960 And 40 years from now, 30 years from now, when we've got a generation of adults
00:47:50.580 adults who have been raised on hardcore porn since before they hit puberty, I mean, we're
00:47:58.220 going to see how much it matters. And by then it's going to be too late. And you're going
00:48:05.320 to be complaining about what's happened to the culture and where we are. Yet you were part
00:48:10.960 of the problem. Because when we could have done something, we could have talked about it,
00:48:14.260 you didn't want to hear about it. Thanks for the email. And thanks everybody for watching.
00:48:20.680 Godspeed.
