00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, leftism is a religion of self-loathing.
00:00:03.980 That's what it is. And this has been made, I think, very clear this week, especially as
00:00:08.240 white people across the country have gone out of their way to announce and advertise their white
00:00:12.400 guilt. But the self-loathing issue goes way beyond race. We'll talk about that today. Also,
00:00:17.260 five headlines, including Attorney General Barr revealing Antifa's role in the riots. And in our
00:00:23.140 daily cancellation, we will cancel a maniac who went on CNN to announce that white children,
00:00:29.360 quote, don't deserve innocence. And so he believes that white parents should intentionally
00:00:35.120 rob their children's innocence as a way, as a show of racial solidarity. So we're going to talk about
00:00:40.880 all of that coming up. But starting here, one of the things we have seen this week, and for the past
00:00:47.140 many years and decades, really, is that leftism is a religion, and specifically a religion of
00:00:53.200 self-loathing. Now, this may seem counterintuitive at first, because leftism would appear to be a
00:00:58.640 religion of narcissism, religion of self-worship. But really, the two things, narcissism and
00:01:04.600 self-loathing, actually are not mutually exclusive at all. They go hand in hand. I would say, on the
00:01:10.060 contrary, they necessarily go hand in hand, in fact. The definition of narcissism, according to
00:01:15.440 dictionary.com anyway, is selfishness involving a sense of entitlement, a lack of empathy, and a need
00:01:21.920 for admiration as characterizing a personality type. Well, who does that sound like to you? That is
00:01:29.040 leftism to a T, of course. And there's nothing about it that precludes self-loathing. You know,
00:01:34.880 narcissistic people are quite often very self-loathing, and their obsession with hating
00:01:40.120 themselves, and finding affirmation, and assuaging their sense of guilt, trying to feel better about
00:01:46.540 themselves, trying to get other people to like them, trying to get other people to recognize their
00:01:51.400 virtue and how great they are. That is all narcissism. Now, if you don't believe me that
00:01:58.780 leftism is a religion of self-loathing, then let's just review a few of the incidents from this past
00:02:04.460 week or two. Some of these we've talked about, played some of these clips already individually on
00:02:08.940 the show, but I want to recall them again. And then we're going to get to the kind of like the
00:02:14.380 grand finale of white guilt and white self-loathing. So you want to stick around for that.
00:02:20.640 But what we've seen, you know, aside from the rooting and the rioting and the looting and the
00:02:25.960 anarchy and chaos and everything, are many videos of white people debasing themselves, humiliating
00:02:31.100 themselves in this desperate attempt to prove that they are not racist. And I should say a futile
00:02:38.880 attempt, because it doesn't matter. They're still going to be seen as racist. That's part of
00:02:44.360 the racial narrative. The ideology of leftism is that white people are racist, no matter what
00:02:50.060 racist inherently. And in fact, if you say you aren't racist, that's more, that's just more proof
00:02:55.220 that you are. So it's not going to work, but this is what they're doing. Let's play a couple of these
00:03:01.580 again. We played this on Tuesday. This is a group of white folks literally kneeling before a group of
00:03:06.740 black people and apologizing for racism.
00:03:09.440 We know he's seen God and he's no longer going to be here in honor of his legacy. We're not
00:03:16.040 rioting, God. We're not shaming anybody, God. We're just humbling ourselves before you.
00:03:22.640 Yes, Lord.
00:03:23.660 You brought the thunder and rain today, God, because Satan takes the hell today. Father,
00:03:29.420 in Jesus' name, you get the victory. Father, we ask for forgiveness from our black brothers and
00:03:35.020 sisters for years and years of racism. Nothing creepy about that at all. And then we played this
00:03:41.200 yesterday. This is some white people on their knees, in some cases, and or sitting down, hands
00:03:47.200 in the air, repeating every word that a Black Lives Matter activist tells them to repeat.
00:03:52.980 About racism, anti-blackness, or violence. About racism, anti-blackness, or violence. I will use
00:04:02.560 my voice in the most uplifting way possible. I will use my voice in the most uplifting way possible.
00:04:09.260 And do everything in my power to educate my community. And do everything in my power to educate
00:04:15.080 my community. I will love my black neighbors the same as my white ones. I will love my black
00:04:21.080 neighbors the same as my white ones.
00:04:22.660 And can I just say one other thing when you watch these videos? Especially the first one
00:04:27.240 of the white people kneeling. You know, if I would be very uncomfortable, not just as the
00:04:34.100 person kneeling. I simply wouldn't do that. But if somebody was kneeling to me, doesn't that
00:04:41.040 make you really uncomfortable? Isn't that super awkward? And I say that as a theocratic fascist.
00:04:47.740 Now, I say that as somebody under my regime, everybody will kneel before me. But what I'm
00:04:53.260 saying is, because of my incredible humility, I will be very uncomfortable with it. I'm going to
00:04:58.140 require it at gunpoint. If you don't, you'll be killed. But it will hurt me more than it hurts you,
00:05:03.620 is what I'm trying to say. All right. And now here, this is just very sad and infuriating. But here's
00:05:09.780 a, and I've got more about this in this vein during the daily cancellation. But here's a white
00:05:14.360 parent who forced their child to kneel and hold a sign confessing her white privilege. This is the
00:05:21.340 picture. And that's child abuse right there. Imagine indoctrinating your own, what, four or
00:05:28.540 five-year-old child into feeling guilty about their race. How sick and perverted do you have to be?
00:05:36.100 But like I said, we have more about that in the daily cancellation. And then there's this video.
00:05:40.820 Maybe you've seen it. It went pretty viral. And it shows a guy telling a woman to kneel and
00:05:47.000 apologize to him for her white privilege. There's a lot more to this, which we'll play in a second.
00:05:52.700 But here's the video that's going viral all over the place.
00:05:56.800 Excuse me. Hey, excuse me. I work for Black Lives Matter. I'm sorry. I work for Black Lives Matter.
00:06:03.920 I'm sorry that I scared you. But since I work for that company, my CEO has told me to come out today
00:06:10.380 and to bring you on your knees because you have white privilege. So if they see that a white person
00:06:15.760 is getting on their knees, that shows solidarity for the situation. The situation. And could you just
00:06:22.920 please apologize for, you know, for your white privilege? Just apologize.
00:06:29.020 I am. I'm trying to think of the right words to say because that's a big thing to say.
00:06:33.000 It's big. It's large in this country.
00:06:37.160 I'm incredibly, I'm incredibly sorry about that.
00:06:39.120 You know, with this country, we have that president, Donald Duck, that clown in office.
00:06:44.560 You know, he's brought a lot of bigotry and you're not a part of it, right?
00:06:48.280 No. Why?
00:06:49.260 No. And so, you know, just.
00:06:52.860 Thank you, Bert. Let me have a moment.
00:06:54.380 Okay, you have a great day.
00:06:56.540 Okay, now that looks pretty bad, doesn't it?
00:07:00.840 Trust me, it gets a whole lot worse.
00:07:04.020 And I will play the rest of that video for you in just a second.
00:07:08.520 But before we do, you know, rockauto.com, great sponsors, great friends of this show.
00:07:14.040 And we really appreciate them, not just as a sponsor of the show, but as a great company.
00:07:18.400 Because if you're looking for auto parts, you're looking to, you know, if you have something on your
00:07:23.300 car that needs to be fixed, no reason to go into the auto parts store, just go to rockauto.com.
00:07:29.020 It's so much easier.
00:07:29.720 They're always offering the lowest prices possible rather than changing the prices based on what
00:07:34.280 they think they can get out of you.
00:07:35.560 So this is not, you know, a lot of times when it comes to car stuff, you have to worry about that.
00:07:40.080 But you don't have to worry about that with rockauto.com.
00:07:41.940 Rockauto.com is a family business, honest business, serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.
00:07:47.320 You can go to rockauto.com, shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers.
00:07:52.060 Best of all, prices at rockauto.com are reliably low.
00:07:56.240 And they're the same no matter who you are, a professional, a do-it-yourselfer.
00:07:59.640 They're going to offer you the lowest price they possibly can.
00:08:02.500 The rockauto.com catalog is unique, remarkably easy to navigate.
00:08:06.440 Listen, I've been on rockauto.com many times.
00:08:08.920 If it's easy for me to navigate, then it will be a breeze for you, okay?
00:08:12.440 Go to rockauto.com right now, see all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:08:17.120 Write Walsh in there, how did you hear about us, box, so that they know that we sent you.
00:08:22.580 All right.
00:08:23.580 Now, just played you the clip.
00:08:27.260 That clip is actually from a 45-minute video, a live stream done by a YouTuber who goes by
00:08:34.040 the name of Smooth Sanchez.
00:08:36.660 And he's actually not black, but he's Hispanic.
00:08:39.400 He goes around New York City for 45 minutes during the protests and the rioting, and he
00:08:48.060 tells a whole bunch of white people, not just that woman, to kneel on command.
00:08:53.120 And most of them, the vast majority, do exactly what he says immediately and without question.
00:09:01.280 He goes up and says, kneel, and they get on their knees.
00:09:03.380 Now, the guy, Smooth Sanchez, I don't know if that's his Christian name or not, but he's
00:09:11.840 obviously trolling, okay?
00:09:13.140 He's not, this is not him being sincere.
00:09:15.340 So I don't think he's the bad guy here.
00:09:17.980 I think actually he's exposing these pitiful, self-loathing masochists.
00:09:23.520 And in that way, he's performing a community service.
00:09:25.980 But, so let me, I pulled a few more clips from his video that I want to play for you.
00:09:33.780 And there's a lot more where this came from.
00:09:35.940 But here's just, here's just a taste.
00:09:38.600 And this is probably all you could possibly stomach.
00:09:41.760 Excuse me, could you take a knee for George Foreman, the guy who just died recently to
00:09:45.700 police brutality?
00:09:46.700 I'm with Black Lives Matter.
00:09:48.320 And I just want you to take a knee like Colin Kaepernick.
00:09:52.060 Please, I work with that foundation.
00:09:54.140 Could you just take a knee for me right quick?
00:09:56.460 Like this, like this.
00:09:57.960 Yeah, it's good.
00:09:58.620 Just take the, there we go.
00:10:00.400 Excuse me.
00:10:01.720 Wait, are you Joaquin Phoenix?
00:10:04.400 No, okay.
00:10:06.300 I work for Black Lives Matter.
00:10:07.840 And it would be an honor if you were to please take a knee for the man that just died this
00:10:12.620 past week.
00:10:13.220 I'll do it.
00:10:15.180 But it's going to be really painful because I just had knee surgery.
00:10:18.740 So, you know, I just had, I just had, I just.
00:10:21.120 But I will do it for the cause.
00:10:22.960 Okay.
00:10:25.440 Okay.
00:10:26.800 That's good.
00:10:27.420 And so you respect the Black Lives Matter movement.
00:10:29.140 I understand.
00:10:29.740 Yeah.
00:10:29.900 Can I get off my knee?
00:10:30.600 Now it really hurts.
00:10:31.240 Okay.
00:10:31.500 All right.
00:10:31.860 You could, you could.
00:10:32.720 And I would just like it if you get on your knees for, to show your, show that you're
00:10:37.460 not, you're against your white privilege.
00:10:39.440 Because you guys are privileged.
00:10:40.860 Yes.
00:10:41.300 And just please apologize for, you know, because when you take a knee, it not only represents
00:10:49.060 what Colin Kaepernick did.
00:10:50.640 It deeper represents what that officer did to that poor man.
00:10:56.700 Right.
00:10:57.020 What he did to George Foreman is, is, is not okay.
00:11:01.260 And I think you could agree with this.
00:11:03.460 Absolutely.
00:11:04.080 Yes.
00:11:04.340 So, could you please apologize for your white privilege?
00:11:07.720 You know, we, we can't speak on behalf of what everyone else is dealing with.
00:11:13.680 It's not a white, uh, human being, but.
00:11:16.300 Right.
00:11:16.560 All we can say is that we support the movements that are going on, the nonviolent ones.
00:11:22.280 And we, you know, we partook in a peaceful protest yesterday.
00:11:27.700 But, you know, you guys should be guilty because it was a white man.
00:11:30.600 So you guys, do you feel guilty?
00:11:33.160 Yeah.
00:11:34.000 In part, you're, you're an accessory to.
00:11:36.820 Absolutely.
00:11:38.060 First of all, I think that this is a very important video in, uh, from an academic sense.
00:11:43.280 I think anthropologists of the future are going to want to watch that video to try to
00:11:48.720 understand what happened to American society.
00:11:52.960 Uh, I mean, that video is not going to answer a lot of questions.
00:11:55.700 It's going to raise a lot of questions, but it will be an important piece of the puzzle,
00:11:58.720 I think.
00:11:59.940 And those women at the end there, did they really just, did I hear that right?
00:12:04.280 They, they, they agreed that they are accessories to the murder of George Floyd because they're
00:12:10.360 white.
00:12:11.060 They agreed.
00:12:11.980 They agreed with that statement.
00:12:13.600 And notice, of course, he repeatedly says George Foreman instead of George Floyd.
00:12:17.600 And many of the white people don't even correct him because they're afraid of being called
00:12:22.100 racist.
00:12:23.380 And the other guy who just had knee surgery and, and, and he kneels on the concrete and
00:12:28.680 he's in pain and he does it anyway because he doesn't want to say no to the guy.
00:12:33.800 Now, of course, the correct response when someone runs up to you and tells you to kneel for
00:12:37.800 them is two words.
00:12:39.420 And the first word starts with F and the second word starts with O.
00:12:42.240 Maybe the second word could start with why, you know, either one of those alternatives
00:12:46.000 will work or something in that vein.
00:12:48.240 I mean, that, that is the correct response when someone says kneel on the ground.
00:12:51.840 Um, but leftism again is a religion that teaches people, white people to hate themselves, to
00:12:59.220 be ashamed of themselves.
00:13:00.380 When in reality, of course, nobody should hate themselves for their race.
00:13:06.980 Nobody has any guilt just because of their race.
00:13:10.600 This should not need to be said.
00:13:12.760 This should not be controversial.
00:13:15.320 Nobody owes anybody else an apology just based on their race.
00:13:20.280 Nobody.
00:13:20.740 Nobody is responsible for oppression and persecution or any bad thing at all, just because of their
00:13:29.200 race.
00:13:31.200 Again, shouldn't need to be said, but it does.
00:13:34.000 It very much does.
00:13:35.880 And let's go further and speak specifically here about, about, you know, white people and
00:13:39.920 the white race, um, you know, no individual white person is responsible for whatever sins
00:13:50.700 his ancestors committed, nor does he own apology for them, nor can he apologize for them.
00:13:59.420 An apology for something you didn't do is, uh, not only pitiful and pathetic, but it's completely
00:14:07.440 pointless.
00:14:09.300 It's, it's, and toothless.
00:14:13.060 You can't apologize.
00:14:14.560 You, you, what does that mean?
00:14:16.020 I'm going to apologize for something that someone did 300 years ago.
00:14:18.860 Okay.
00:14:19.760 What does that mean?
00:14:23.600 Um, and furthermore, whatever sins.
00:14:29.420 A white person's ancestors may have committed slavery, murder, rape, oppression, theft of
00:14:36.020 land, um, and whatever it is.
00:14:40.340 And yes, it's likely that every white person has ancestors who did that sort of thing, but
00:14:46.940 none of those sins are unique to the ancestors of white people.
00:14:50.740 All of those things, all of them were commonplace all over the world and still are.
00:14:56.860 So when I say that it's almost certain that every white person has ancestors who did that,
00:15:01.580 that's just because it's almost certain that every person in the world has ancestors who
00:15:06.860 did that stuff.
00:15:07.500 The only difference being that slavery is abolished in the West now, while it's still practiced
00:15:13.380 in other parts of the world.
00:15:15.780 Go up, but going back in history, slavery was institutional everywhere for thousands of
00:15:21.940 years, violence and brutality.
00:15:24.800 These were the way things worked everywhere.
00:15:27.400 If you wanted land anywhere, you took it.
00:15:31.960 And if you wanted to keep your land anywhere, you had to defend it.
00:15:36.360 The world was a brutal place for a long time.
00:15:39.400 It is only slightly less brutal now.
00:15:41.540 And that also depends on where you live.
00:15:43.280 So the idea that white people are solely or uniquely responsible for any of this stuff
00:15:49.940 is nonsense.
00:15:55.260 But I talk about leftism being a religion of self-loathing.
00:16:00.480 And you might say, well, it's not because what if you're not white?
00:16:06.820 Then you're not being told to hate yourself.
00:16:09.440 Well, the problem is that the self-loathing doesn't just apply to white people.
00:16:12.540 It goes way beyond race.
00:16:13.940 OK, this is an issue that extends way beyond race.
00:16:16.280 And we'll talk about how far it extends in just a second.
00:16:20.100 But first, a word from some relatively new sponsors on the show who we really appreciate.
00:16:25.440 And that would be Bambi.
00:16:27.740 You know, having a good HR department, I think, is crucially important at all times,
00:16:33.540 especially now with all the challenges in the world.
00:16:36.300 When running a business, you know, HR problems can kill you.
00:16:40.300 Wrongful termination suits, minimum wage requirements, labor regulations is very complicated.
00:16:45.000 There are a lot of landmines that you're walking over there.
00:16:47.760 And HR manager salaries are not cheap either.
00:16:49.820 An average salary is $70,000 a year for HR.
00:16:52.660 Bambi, spelled B-A-M-B-E-E, was created specifically for small businesses.
00:16:58.280 You can get a dedicated HR manager.
00:17:00.060 You can craft HR policy, maintain your compliance, all for just $99 a month.
00:17:04.840 With Bambi, you can change your HR from the biggest liability you have,
00:17:09.200 one of your big expenses, to your biggest strength.
00:17:12.320 And on top of that, it's very affordable.
00:17:14.300 Your dedicated HR manager is available by phone, email, real-time chat.
00:17:17.960 I mean, this is someone who works for you month to month.
00:17:20.940 No hidden fees.
00:17:21.580 You can cancel any time.
00:17:22.700 There's no reason not to do this.
00:17:24.680 I think you can't afford to not do it.
00:17:27.300 Go to Bambi.com slash Walsh right now to schedule your free HR audit.
00:17:30.920 That's Bambi.com slash Walsh, spelled B-A-M-B-E-E dot com slash Walsh.
00:17:37.100 Okay, so the religion of self-loathing goes way beyond race.
00:17:43.580 You know, leftism, yes, teaches white people to hate their race.
00:17:47.200 It also teaches men and boys to hate their sex.
00:17:50.860 Hate it so much that they literally mutilate themselves in a vain attempt to change it.
00:17:55.740 It teaches women to hate their femininity, to hate it so much that in some cases they go out of their way to be boorish and crass so as to be more like men or at least more like the cartoonish idea of men that feminists have in their heads.
00:18:08.420 It teaches Americans to hate their country.
00:18:11.000 It teaches free people to hate their freedom.
00:18:13.540 It teaches independent people to hate their independence.
00:18:16.140 The things that are most natural and good and healthy in you and about you, the things that are most fundamental, most elemental, most unchangeable, those are the very things you are taught to hate.
00:18:34.260 Those are the things that you are taught to try and change, even though you can't.
00:18:38.980 Meanwhile, the things you should hate about yourself, the things that you can and should change.
00:18:46.140 You know, say your crappy personality, your vanity, your selfishness, your sense of entitlement, your unhealthy lifestyle, those kinds of personality defects, those are the very things you are told to accept and love.
00:19:00.480 Those are the things you're told you cannot change.
00:19:03.740 Immutable characteristics.
00:19:06.120 So a man should hate his masculinity and seek to become a woman to change it.
00:19:11.080 But, for example, an obese person should love their obesity and accept that it can never be changed.
00:19:16.140 This is the dichotomy that you get from leftism.
00:19:21.080 And that is why it is a contemptible, toxic, noxious poison.
00:19:28.320 By the way, before we get to headlines, one other point about this that I was thinking about.
00:19:32.560 When you watch that video of the white people falling to their knees.
00:19:37.860 And there's another example of this, too, that I wasn't getting very much into on the show because I don't know how real it is.
00:19:44.040 But trending on social media this morning was the hashtag bald for BLM.
00:19:51.100 And the idea is that you're supposed to shave your head.
00:19:55.120 White people are supposed to shave their heads in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.
00:19:58.460 Which makes no sense, of course.
00:19:59.820 Now, I am 99.9999% sure that this started as a 4chan hoax where they're trying to get dumb white people to do this to embarrass themselves.
00:20:09.440 But it did manage to trend.
00:20:11.300 I'm not sure how many people actually did it for real.
00:20:14.680 There were a lot of posts, especially white women, showing off their bald heads.
00:20:19.640 I think a lot of that was fake.
00:20:21.360 I mean, it was people trying to get others to do it, which I really appreciate.
00:20:24.360 I mean, don't get me wrong.
00:20:25.300 The hoax, I really appreciate.
00:20:26.720 I think it's great.
00:20:28.760 I'm not sure how many people really did it sincerely.
00:20:30.960 Although, based on that video we played, it wouldn't surprise me at all if a lot of people did it.
00:20:36.040 And the point is, or at least another point, when you see that video, you see all this.
00:20:44.020 For these white liberals, the worst thing in the world that could ever happen to them is that some people think they're racist.
00:20:55.300 That, for them, they would take anything over that.
00:20:59.080 I mean, they would prefer for you to see them in any other way than that.
00:21:03.820 If they had to choose between one person thinking they're racist and everybody in the world thinking that they're serial killing cannibals,
00:21:12.160 they would take the latter in a heartbeat.
00:21:15.860 In a heartbeat.
00:21:16.840 They would prefer for everyone in the world to think that they're serial killers and cannibals than for one person to think they're racist.
00:21:22.760 And in fact, if they could get you to believe that they were racially woke cannibals who only killed and ate white people,
00:21:31.380 then they might actually prefer that.
00:21:32.560 They might see that as a net positive.
00:21:33.900 They might actually try to cultivate that brand.
00:21:35.940 And who knows?
00:21:38.340 But the point is, for them, it's the worst thing in the world to be thought of that way, even for a ridiculous reason.
00:21:46.460 And that's why they so often, in an argument with you, will throw the word racist at you.
00:21:53.820 So rather than presenting an argument, they'll just say, oh, you're racist.
00:21:56.960 And they think it's a trump card.
00:21:58.680 They think that will shut you down because for them, if it was them, it would shut them down.
00:22:03.980 They will do anything to avoid being called that.
00:22:07.340 And so they think other people operate that way.
00:22:09.440 So they think you're presenting an argument.
00:22:12.000 They have nothing to say in response to it.
00:22:14.320 So instead they say, you're racist.
00:22:15.800 And what they expect you to do is say, oh, no, no, no, no.
00:22:17.960 I'm not racist.
00:22:18.720 Please, please stop.
00:22:19.480 Don't call me that.
00:22:20.120 Whatever you want.
00:22:20.800 Whatever you want.
00:22:21.340 You're right.
00:22:21.700 You're right.
00:22:22.000 Just that's how they expect you to respond, because it's exactly how they would respond.
00:22:27.200 And then when you don't, that's when they get very flabbergasted.
00:22:30.720 They don't understand.
00:22:32.840 Hold on a second.
00:22:33.460 How is this not working?
00:22:35.700 What they don't understand is that for a lot of us, you have so misused and misapplied and abused this term that it doesn't mean anything anymore.
00:22:47.400 When you call somebody racist, it could be that they're actually racist.
00:22:52.100 I mean, there are racist people out there.
00:22:54.280 But, you know, 90% of the time, with the way that it's used, you're talking about someone who's not racist at all.
00:22:59.980 They just have an opinion you don't like.
00:23:02.860 And so for a lot of us, for a lot of us normal people, we just don't care anymore.
00:23:06.020 Whatever label you want to throw.
00:23:07.300 Sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, whatever, it doesn't matter.
00:23:11.840 The label has no meaning.
00:23:14.160 At all, anymore, it has no effect.
00:23:18.100 This is a weapon that you wield that is only effective against you.
00:23:22.780 It's like Superman trying to use kryptonite on somebody else.
00:23:27.060 Sorry, it doesn't work.
00:23:30.420 You're going to need something else.
00:23:32.120 Because that's a weapon that only, that weapon gets you, not us.
00:23:38.480 And that's your own fault.
00:23:40.800 If you hadn't misused the word racist so much, then, you know, it would have some meaning still.
00:23:51.360 And when you called someone racist, there would be some real power to that charge.
00:23:55.240 But there just isn't anymore.
00:23:59.320 Let's go to news headlines.
00:24:00.640 Number one, Joe Biden was talking to Don Cheadle for some reason.
00:24:04.200 And that's when he shared his true thoughts about the American people.
00:24:07.680 Listen.
00:24:08.600 We'll have to address these issues straight on.
00:24:12.320 And the words the president says matter.
00:24:15.280 So when a president stands up and divides people all the time,
00:24:18.480 you're going to get the worst of us to come out.
00:24:21.160 The worst in us all to come out.
00:24:22.620 The president constantly talks about equality without lecturing.
00:24:28.780 Talks about and has administration that looks like the country and the rest.
00:24:32.620 It changes attitudes.
00:24:34.620 And it's about the attitude of the country.
00:24:36.900 Do we want our kids?
00:24:38.000 Do we really think this is as good as we can be as a nation?
00:24:41.400 I don't think the vast majority of people think that.
00:24:44.440 There are probably anywhere from 10 to 15% of the people out there that are just not very good people.
00:24:49.380 But that's not who we are.
00:24:52.180 The vast majority of people are decent.
00:24:54.220 We have to appeal to that and we have to unite people.
00:24:57.320 Bring them together.
00:24:59.460 Bring them together.
00:25:00.640 10 to 15% are not very good people.
00:25:04.000 Now the thing is, he's right, of course.
00:25:07.020 Probably way more than 15% aren't very good people.
00:25:09.720 The idea that everyone in the country is fundamentally decent and good is silly, of course, and childish and clearly not the case.
00:25:17.780 But I think, and I think Biden is singling out the wrong 15%.
00:25:22.540 Also politically, of course, this is a boneheaded thing to say.
00:25:26.640 There's just never a time when it's a good idea for a politician to say that any percentage of Americans aren't good or decent.
00:25:33.020 There's no winning there when you say that, even if it's clearly true.
00:25:39.280 And by the way, if we're listing groups of people who aren't good and decent, we should obviously start with politicians, Joe Biden included.
00:25:46.720 We should start there and then we can branch out from there.
00:25:50.820 Number two, foxnews.com reports.
00:25:52.520 Several members of the Minneapolis City Council this week have expressed support for radical changes to how the city handles law enforcement, including a move to dismantle the police department and replace it with a transformative new model for public safety.
00:26:05.540 And so we're hearing about this dismantling the police, defunding the police.
00:26:09.720 According to the Daily Wire, celebrities like Megan Rapinoe, John Legend, Lizzo have signed a letter demanding that police departments be defunded.
00:26:18.380 And I think that's very interesting because you've got these wealthy celebrities who live in gated communities and got personal security.
00:26:26.860 And so they're good to go.
00:26:28.340 They're surrounded by armed security all the time.
00:26:30.480 They've got the gated community.
00:26:31.660 They've got the gate around their house, the armed guards and everything.
00:26:35.460 And so they're fine.
00:26:37.380 What they're saying now is, yeah, get rid of the police department for these neighborhoods and these people who are in dangerous neighborhoods.
00:26:43.860 They don't need it.
00:26:44.620 We can get rid of it for them.
00:26:46.800 They'll be fine.
00:26:49.380 Very, very courageous, right?
00:26:50.940 Very courageous perspective from these people.
00:26:54.340 Number three, Tony Dunges, former NFL head coach, Super Bowl winner, NFL analyst now, was on a sports talk show this morning.
00:27:03.020 And he was asked about the Drew Brees situation.
00:27:06.380 Drew Brees, like we discussed yesterday, came out and said that people should not disrespect the flag, that a bunch of insane crybabies freaked out about it.
00:27:12.980 And Drew Brees apologized to them.
00:27:15.420 Speaking of self-flagellating white people, Brees basically took a knee, crawled on his hands and feet and said, please forgive me.
00:27:21.560 I'm not racist.
00:27:23.140 Anyway, here's Tony Dunges' take on this.
00:27:25.960 Who has to have those conversations, you think, Tony?
00:27:28.620 Who, who, who?
00:27:29.360 We all have to have them.
00:27:30.500 And we have to have Drew Brees saying what he said.
00:27:33.260 I don't, I don't downgrade Drew for that.
00:27:36.140 Okay, that's what he said.
00:27:37.500 He may not totally understand.
00:27:39.200 It may have been not exactly the way he wanted to express it.
00:27:42.780 But he can't be afraid to say that.
00:27:44.680 And we can't be afraid to say, okay, Drew, I don't agree with you, but let's talk about this.
00:27:49.780 And let's, let's, let's sit down and talk about it.
00:27:52.540 We can't just say anytime something happens that we don't agree with, hey, I'm done with that.
00:27:56.680 And I'm done with this person.
00:27:57.900 And that doesn't make sense.
00:27:59.640 We, we have to be better than that.
00:28:01.700 This battle is not going to be won by demonstrating and throwing bricks through windows.
00:28:06.160 It's not going to be won by the government saying, hey, we're going to bring out these
00:28:09.620 weapons and dominate the streets again.
00:28:11.740 That is not going to fix anything.
00:28:13.820 The only notable thing about that, about what Tony Dunges said there, is that it is notable.
00:28:21.160 It's, it's notable that something like that is notable these days, because what he's saying
00:28:26.080 is, in reality, basic common sense, obviously correct, obviously the most sensible and ethical
00:28:33.720 and intelligent way of approaching this.
00:28:35.460 He's saying, hey, if, if we have a difference of opinion, let's talk about it.
00:28:40.500 If somebody expresses an opinion about the flag or a protest, rather than crying and freaking
00:28:46.540 out and panicking, why not talk to them and say, why do you feel that way?
00:28:52.520 Let's have a discussion.
00:28:53.160 And, oh, by the way, don't throw bricks in people's windows.
00:28:56.500 That was Tony Dunges' message.
00:28:58.860 And it becomes this, this headline thing and it goes viral.
00:29:01.680 It's all over the place because it's so rare to hear, especially on national TV from a prominent
00:29:07.340 voice to hear basic common sense.
00:29:10.820 Although from Tony Dunges, it's not rare.
00:29:12.500 He's a really common sense guy.
00:29:14.060 A big Tony Dunges fan.
00:29:16.480 I think everybody is.
00:29:17.560 Tony Dunges is one of the few.
00:29:18.720 I was asking this the other day, can you name like, I don't know, five Americans who
00:29:25.800 everybody agrees is respectable and decent and admirable?
00:29:32.720 I think in times past, almost all Americans could agree on a whole host of people who they
00:29:39.120 consider to be sort of admirable figures.
00:29:42.400 But these days, things are so political and ideologically divided.
00:29:48.060 Everything becomes political that there's almost nobody left who everybody admires.
00:29:53.680 I think Tony Dunges is one of them.
00:29:55.900 Who else?
00:29:59.000 Is there anybody?
00:30:00.020 Is it just Tony Dunges?
00:30:01.180 There's got to be a few others, right?
00:30:03.520 Alex Trebek.
00:30:04.680 He's not even American.
00:30:06.160 He's Canadian, right?
00:30:08.080 We'll adopt him for our own.
00:30:09.320 I think they shoot the show in America, so we'll call him American.
00:30:12.920 So Alex Trebek, Tony Dunges.
00:30:17.620 Is that it?
00:30:18.300 I think that's it.
00:30:20.260 They're the only two left.
00:30:23.420 Now, four from the Daily Wire.
00:30:26.500 Again, Attorney General William Barr said on Thursday that federal law enforcement officials
00:30:30.120 have evidence that Antifa and other extremist groups have been involved in instigating and
00:30:33.740 participating in acts of violence that have rocked the nation for days.
00:30:37.580 As riots have broken out following the death of George Floyd.
00:30:40.380 I think we're going to see a lot more about there's a lot more to come out about this,
00:30:44.600 I think.
00:30:46.000 And what I really want to know are the Democrats and high profile people who have been,
00:30:51.980 you know, personally involved in communicating with Antifa and coordinating with them.
00:30:57.940 I guarantee there's some of that stuff going on.
00:31:00.580 And this is really important.
00:31:02.000 And we need to know about it.
00:31:02.760 Antifa is a domestic terrorist organization.
00:31:04.480 There's no question about that.
00:31:05.460 But as I've been saying all along, we cannot let this distract us from, we cannot solely
00:31:12.920 scapegoat Antifa.
00:31:14.300 I've got no problem with criticizing Antifa and call them domestic terrorist organization,
00:31:21.800 arrest everybody involved in it.
00:31:23.200 If they are a domestic terrorist organization, then you have no right to be involved with them.
00:31:26.800 You should all be arrested.
00:31:27.820 I'm on board with that.
00:31:28.980 But we cannot allow, here's what we really can't allow.
00:31:34.780 We can't allow Black Lives Matter as an organization to scapegoat Antifa.
00:31:41.100 Because Black Lives Matter and Antifa are two sides of the same coin.
00:31:45.980 And I've been talking about this all week.
00:31:48.220 There are even a lot of conservatives who seem to want to exonerate Black Lives Matter and make this
00:31:53.300 all about Antifa.
00:31:54.860 We cannot do it.
00:31:55.460 Black Lives Matter is an extremist organization, has a lengthy history of violence.
00:32:03.360 And so this is also about them.
00:32:05.160 Now we're going to go to our daily cancellation.
00:32:08.140 Before we do, you know, where do you even begin when you talk about all the things that are happening
00:32:13.560 this year?
00:32:14.640 It's a lot to stay on top of and stay educated on because the left-wing media is just constantly
00:32:18.600 pushing their agenda without giving you the real story.
00:32:20.880 That's why we here at Daily Wire bring, we like to skip the mainstream narrative to bring
00:32:25.200 you both sides of the story.
00:32:26.720 So right now, go over to dailywire.com slash subscribe, get a Daily Wire membership for
00:32:31.060 15% off using coupon code Walsh.
00:32:33.180 And if you join us as an all-access member, you'll get two glorious leftist tears tumblers
00:32:38.560 because you deserve the truth.
00:32:39.700 And CNN isn't going to give that to you anytime soon.
00:32:42.980 All right.
00:32:43.480 Now for the daily cancellation, today is a nice bookend of our conversation to start
00:32:47.160 the show.
00:32:47.740 We're going to cancel Tim Wise.
00:32:49.380 Now, Tim Wise calls himself an anti-racism educator.
00:32:53.160 So you know, this is going to be good.
00:32:54.780 And he was on CNN.
00:32:56.020 I think this was yesterday.
00:32:57.800 And here's what Tim Wise had to say.
00:33:00.300 I think that the important thing for white parents to keep in the front of our mind is
00:33:04.700 that if black children in this country are not allowed innocence and childhood without
00:33:09.300 fear of being killed by police or marginalized in some other way, then our children are going to be
00:33:13.880 don't deserve innocence.
00:33:15.200 If Tamir Rice can be shot dead in a public park playing with a toy gun, something white
00:33:19.960 children do all over this country every day without the same fear of being shot.
00:33:24.260 If Tamir Rice can be killed, then white children need to be told at least at the same age.
00:33:28.980 If they can't be innocent, we don't get to be innocent.
00:33:31.580 And if we would keep that in the front of our minds, then perhaps we would be able to hear
00:33:35.960 what black and brown folks are telling us every day and have been for many years.
00:33:39.940 Okay.
00:33:41.320 I have a migraine.
00:33:42.380 I have a sudden onset migraine.
00:33:45.320 Um, now, first of all, as this anti-racism educator tells parents to be racist against
00:33:55.080 their own kids, a few points I think need to be made here.
00:33:58.380 Number one, white children play with toy guns and don't get shot by cops.
00:34:04.280 That's true.
00:34:05.720 So do black children.
00:34:07.480 All right.
00:34:07.760 Tamir Rice was a horrendous and tragic situation.
00:34:10.120 And the reason we all know about it and know his name and remember it years later is that
00:34:15.060 it was such a thankfully rare, horrific event.
00:34:17.960 So this idea that only white children can play with toys without getting killed by the cops
00:34:22.520 is absurd.
00:34:23.620 Millions of white and black children play with toys, uh, and are perfectly safe in doing so.
00:34:27.540 Number two, preserving, preserving innocence, all right, is, is something that parents and
00:34:34.140 communities have to do.
00:34:37.100 Primarily parents, but communities also can help.
00:34:40.400 If a black child in the inner city has been robbed of his innocence, it's not because of the
00:34:45.960 police, it's not because of the systemic racism.
00:34:50.760 It's not because of the system at all.
00:34:53.880 It's because his parents have failed him and his community has failed him, has failed to
00:35:01.000 preserve that innocence.
00:35:02.580 And it is true, in fact, that many black children in the inner city have had their innocence robbed.
00:35:08.060 Absolutely.
00:35:08.500 But, um, the thing is that probably wouldn't have happened if they had two married parents
00:35:17.640 in the home.
00:35:18.520 The fatherless rate in the inner city is like 80%, if not more.
00:35:23.180 So if they had two married parents in the home, especially a father present and determined
00:35:27.480 to preserve their innocence, and a community that was focused on protecting its children,
00:35:32.340 then this wouldn't have, wouldn't have happened.
00:35:36.220 Many communities in the inner city do not have that focus.
00:35:40.240 And that, again, is not the fault of the cops.
00:35:43.960 Speaking of scapegoats, it's very easy to scapegoat the cops.
00:35:47.080 It's easy to scapegoat, scapegoat the government.
00:35:49.960 And there's plenty of legitimate criticism to be levied against those groups.
00:35:55.340 But at the end of the day, okay, um, when you go to the inner city, you're going to find
00:36:03.520 vast majority of kids do not have a stable home life.
00:36:08.320 They don't even have a dad in the home.
00:36:11.660 And then, you know, you talk about their innocence, them not having innocence.
00:36:15.360 You're going to blame it on the police?
00:36:16.740 Now, um, and, and, and, and also this problem of children, you know, having their innocence
00:36:25.080 robbed is an enormous problem.
00:36:26.820 It's widespread.
00:36:28.180 I talk about it all the time.
00:36:29.860 It happens everywhere.
00:36:30.900 It happens in the suburbs.
00:36:31.920 It happens among white families and white neighborhoods all the time.
00:36:35.060 Many white parents fail to provide their children with guidance and protection.
00:36:39.340 And next thing you know, their, their eight-year-old son is on Pornhub looking at hardcore porn,
00:36:43.480 right?
00:36:43.680 In fact, in, in, with some suburban white families, they go out of their way to intentionally
00:36:48.940 destroy their children's innocence.
00:36:50.600 They take them to, you know, drag, drag shows at the library.
00:36:54.820 So this is a problem.
00:36:56.040 This is a crisis level problem that I have talked about many times across the entire country
00:37:01.100 and the robbing of innocence from children.
00:37:03.700 You know, it can take different forms.
00:37:05.220 It manifests itself in different ways in different communities, but it happens across the board.
00:37:08.840 And it, but it goes back to the parents, the parents not doing their jobs.
00:37:12.280 Now, and, and I say that if you are a parent dead set on preserving your child's innocence,
00:37:19.300 that's still going to be a huge challenge because of the culture and the society we live in.
00:37:23.960 But the first line of defense is you as parents.
00:37:27.340 Now, um, number three, to emphasize, it is the job of the parents primarily to, to guard
00:37:32.540 and preserve a child's innocence.
00:37:34.020 Every child deserves innocence.
00:37:35.780 Every child has a right to it.
00:37:37.100 If you take that away from your child because other kids don't have it, that's no different
00:37:43.380 than starving your child because other kids, you know, kids in Ethiopia are starving.
00:37:49.100 Now, if you want to instill in your child a gratitude and appreciation for the food that
00:37:54.400 he's provided, uh, because other kids don't have food, that's a good thing.
00:37:58.880 I tell my kids that all the time, uh, you know, if kids are going to aren't, aren't finishing
00:38:03.540 the food on their, their plate, you tell them to be grateful for the fact that they have
00:38:06.260 food to finish their food, right?
00:38:07.340 That's a good thing to tell kids, but you're not going to starve them because other kids
00:38:11.680 are starving.
00:38:12.120 That would be deranged, abusive, insane, criminal.
00:38:19.400 And that's what Tim Wise is advocating.
00:38:22.500 I don't think, I probably didn't need to go 10 minutes explaining why Tim Wise is wrong
00:38:27.300 for saying that white parents should intentionally rob their kids' innocence based on race.
00:38:31.340 I mean, we probably didn't need that lengthy explanation, but, uh, I gave it to you anyway,
00:38:36.300 because that's what I do here.
00:38:37.340 I state the obvious.
00:38:38.180 This whole show could be called Stating the Obvious, the Matt Wall Show.
00:38:42.200 Maybe that is what it should be called.
00:38:44.220 I don't know.
00:38:45.620 Um, almost nothing that I say is, is, is, uh, really that revolutionary, insightful, or impressive.
00:38:52.860 Um, it's just that there are so many maniacs in the world today that we actually need to
00:38:58.400 go over these very basic common sense things.
00:39:01.660 So we'll leave it there.
00:39:02.820 Thanks for watching, everybody.
