Summary

Brittany Hill, a mother of one, was shot and killed in broad daylight in her own driveway by a group of gang members in Chicago, and no one has been charged for her death. Why did this happen? And why was the case ignored by the media?

00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Walsh Show, we're going to discuss the horrific murder of a young mother
00:00:03.920 in Chicago. The crime was caught on tape. The footage is perhaps the worst thing you'll ever
00:00:08.060 see, yet the case was ignored by BLM and Antifa, as usual. Also, five headlines, including the
00:00:13.580 claim from an ACLU lawyer that J.K. Rowling is contributing to, quote, genocide by defending
00:00:19.820 biological reality. And Joe Biden is the subject of today's daily cancellation. I think this is,
00:00:27.040 I don't know, his third or fourth time, but we'll keep canceling him as much as we need to.
00:00:30.780 All of that on the way. Okay, we begin here. You know, you probably haven't heard the name
00:00:36.180 Brittany Hill. And if you have, you certainly haven't heard it as often or as loudly or
00:00:40.360 accompanied with as much performative grief as a name like George Floyd or Michael Brown. But
00:00:45.680 the video of her death at the hands of Chicago gang members, a video which came to my attention
00:00:51.080 this weekend, though it's been online for over a year, is impossible to get out of your head
00:00:56.820 once you've seen it. The footage captured by a police surveillance camera, I'll just describe
00:01:03.740 it to you. It shows Hill standing near her car, talking to two men. She's holding her one-year-old
00:01:10.440 daughter in her arms. When the car with her killers rolls up slowly, Hill's daughter actually
00:01:15.760 innocently smiles and waves to the men inside. Of course, not knowing what's about to happen.
00:01:21.280 Moments later, they open fire. The two men standing with Hill take off in opposite directions.
00:01:25.700 The men in the car stop, get out, continue shooting. Hill at some point is struck in the
00:01:30.980 abdomen. She takes cover behind a parked vehicle and lays on top of her daughter, shielding
00:01:35.400 her daughter from the gunfire. The killers drive away. 20 seconds later, one of the men
00:01:39.780 who had been standing with Hill runs back into the frame, apparently holding a firearm, gets
00:01:45.200 into his car and drives away with Hill still lying, bleeding on the pavement. 20 seconds after
00:01:49.900 that, the other man returns with someone else and the two place Hill in the backseat of their car,
00:01:55.600 presumably to bring her to the hospital. The one-year-old girl stands up, watches as her mother
00:02:01.280 is carried off. An older man then comes and picks up the child and takes her away. Now, I had originally
00:02:09.000 planned to play the video of this crime on the show, but I've decided not to do that. You can go to
00:02:15.500 my Twitter and watch it if you want to. I don't want to force you to watch it. I'm not going to
00:02:19.580 just put it into the middle of this show. It's seared into my brain now and probably not for the
00:02:25.880 better. I don't want to do that to you, but if you want to see it, you can. Now, the alleged
00:02:32.400 perpetrators of this, as the judge correctly called it, chilling, mind-boggling, and utterly senseless
00:02:39.600 crime, were arrested and charged with first-degree murder a short time later. Police say the shooting
00:02:45.480 was probably some kind of gang retaliation, though they don't believe that Hill was the intended
00:02:50.280 target. Maybe it was the men standing with Hill, I guess we can assume. This all happened over a year
00:02:58.360 ago. Now, when it happened, it made some waves locally in the immediate aftermath, but it was
00:03:04.040 quickly forgotten, even on the local level, it seems. Most people across the country never heard of it,
00:03:08.980 even after the dramatic and gut-wrenching footage leaked to the public. It leaked to the public a
00:03:13.420 year ago. There were no mass protests. There were no memorial services attended by politicians from
00:03:19.180 across the country. No public officials weeping uncontrollably over her casket, as the mayor of
00:03:24.100 Minneapolis did for George Floyd. And her casket, speaking of which, we can assume was not plated in
00:03:29.680 gold like George Floyd's was, nor is her face like George Floyd's featured on murals all over the
00:03:34.620 nation. No major corporations expressed their sorrow over her death. The Democratic Party didn't
00:03:40.540 kneel in silence to honor her. Nobody rioted. Nobody looted. Black Lives Matter didn't organize
00:03:46.280 any demonstrations on her behalf. No liberal activists or politicians told us to, quote,
00:03:51.400 remember her name. No laws were passed in response to her death. No calls for reform. No famous
00:03:57.460 athlete said anything about her. Colin Kaepernick didn't say anything. Nothing. She just died,
00:04:01.860 and that was it. Another statistic, another tally to add to the body count. And as far as the body
00:04:07.380 count goes, Hill's death last year followed a Memorial Day weekend in Chicago that saw 38 shootings
00:04:13.160 and five deaths. Over the weekend, she was one of 490 murders in the city that year. There have been
00:04:19.240 over 420 homicides already in 2020 in Chicago, a year that has seen the most violent day in Chicago
00:04:25.760 in over half a century, 18 homicides on one Sunday in May. But none of these murders or any of the
00:04:32.940 hundreds of other murders that happen in our cities every year provoke outrage or garner attention even
00:04:37.760 remotely on par with the killings of George Floyd, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, etc. Now, the point I'm
00:04:43.760 making here has, of course, been made many times by many people, and for good reason. It's an important
00:04:49.680 point. But those who seek to justify this disparity in coverage and outrage and attention have a number
00:04:56.320 of responses at the ready. So I want to address the two most common rejoinders to this argument that
00:05:01.420 I'm making right now, the point that I make. Number one, they'll say, well, in cases like Brittany Hill,
00:05:05.880 the murderers are arrested and brought to justice, so there's no need to protest. It's true that in the
00:05:11.820 specific case of Brittany Hill, the murderers were arrested and charged, thanks in large part to the
00:05:15.660 fact that they happened to commit their crime in full view of a surveillance camera. But a great many
00:05:19.580 murders in Chicago and elsewhere go unsolved and unprosecuted every year. Besides, George Floyd's
00:05:25.660 killer was also arrested and brought to justice. That, you may have noticed, has done nothing
00:05:30.880 whatsoever to quell the protests. The killing of Michael Brown was investigated on both the local
00:05:35.560 and federal level, and both investigations, to include the investigation conducted by Obama's DOJ,
00:05:42.300 cleared the officer of wrongdoing, citing, among other things, eyewitness testimony and forensic
00:05:48.940 evidence proving that Michael Brown was shot while in the process of attacking the officer
00:05:53.640 and trying to kill him, trying to disarm him. This was proven. But this also did nothing to
00:05:59.760 satiate the protesters. Still to this day, they repeat the thoroughly and repeatedly debunked lie
00:06:04.980 that Brown had his hands up and was pleading for his life. You hear this even from the protesters,
00:06:09.020 the George Floyd protest. They still repeat this hands up, don't shoot thing. The actual outcome of
00:06:15.180 these cases seems to matter very little or not at all to the protesters. So that excuse doesn't
00:06:19.480 work. The second excuse you hear is, well, the protesters are speaking out against injustice in
00:06:25.360 government. They're seeking certain legal and policy changes. And citizen-on-citizen murder is
00:06:31.240 not a matter of governmental injustice, and there's no need to call for changes to law or policy in
00:06:35.100 response to it, as the argument goes. Now, as covered above, the problem with this response is that
00:06:40.960 the protesters are often upset about things that do not amount to governmental injustice. Michael
00:06:45.820 Brown was not a matter of governmental injustice. The vast majority of police shootings are not
00:06:49.980 unjust. Even the majority of police shootings of unarmed suspects are not unjust, as I have
00:06:54.720 previously showed. We talked about it on the show last week. But even if this is about injustice or
00:07:00.840 perceived injustice, that would be all the more reason to take to the street for the sake of the
00:07:06.300 Brittany Hills of the world. These crime-plagued cities have been brought to their knees by decades
00:07:12.920 of ineffectual and unjust democratic policy. The epidemic of violent crime in places like Chicago
00:07:19.180 is most certainly the result, at least in part, of bad laws and bad leaders who, for a start,
00:07:26.840 have facilitated the collapse of the nuclear family by cynically breeding dependence on welfare and other
00:07:32.000 nanny state programs. Also, many of the killers who terrorize these communities have already been
00:07:39.700 convicted of multiple violent felonies, and yet they're still on the street. They are filtered again
00:07:45.180 and again through the court system and prison system and then back into the community until they finally do
00:07:50.460 something so incomprehensibly heinous that there's no choice but to send them away for good.
00:07:57.000 There was a case we talked about last week. Three friends in Florida were executed in cold blood.
00:08:02.000 By a man who had over 200 felonies, 15 convictions, and two stints in state prison already under his
00:08:09.560 belt. This was a man who long ago announced that he is uninterested in becoming and being a productive
00:08:16.820 member of civilized society. But he had to write that message in the blood of three dead men for the
00:08:23.680 courts to finally take him at his word. Injustice? Yes, there is quite a lot of injustice fueling the chaos
00:08:31.340 and bloodshed in our streets. The excuses don't hold up. A movement that was really concerned with the
00:08:38.800 unjust killing of innocent lives would be eager to stand up for Brittany Hill, to speak up on her
00:08:44.020 behalf, to say her name. And certainly a movement that claims to defend the dignity and value of human
00:08:49.540 life would have quite a lot to say about Brittany Hill and the many hundreds of victims like her each
00:08:55.000 year. Because for all the grief I give BLM, the fact is that life matters is a message that our
00:09:01.480 culture desperately needs to hear. I agree with that. It's a message that, if it was listened to
00:09:07.380 and heeded, would save many lives. Would probably have saved Brittany Hill's life. It's just a shame
00:09:14.140 that the movement which claims to defend life, black life specifically, seems in practice to care very
00:09:20.820 little for it. And that's the issue. It's very clear that in many of these communities,
00:09:30.020 you have people like the killers of Brittany Hill. They weren't even, as I said, they weren't even
00:09:37.520 targeting her. They were going after someone else. The fact that she was standing there and was holding
00:09:44.560 her child meant nothing to them. They didn't care. To them, her life literally meant nothing.
00:09:53.200 There's almost something, in a way it's almost more chilling that she wasn't being targeted because
00:09:59.560 of the indifference in it. A crime motivated by hatred. Someone going to kill someone.
00:10:07.260 You know, a jilted lover or something, killing someone. It's a horrible thing. Terrible.
00:10:16.720 But you kind of, that's something that you can comprehend. You can contextualize that. Okay,
00:10:23.340 someone killing out of hate and anger and jealousy. All right? People have been doing that since time
00:10:28.100 immemorial. But when you find these kinds of killings, like you do so often, especially in the
00:10:33.260 cities and these communities. Crimes of just indifference. Now, I don't hate you. Nothing
00:10:38.600 against you. I just, your life just means nothing to me. I don't care. The life of your child that
00:10:42.840 you're holding means nothing to me. I feel like killing these other two guys for some pointless
00:10:48.520 beef. And you're in the way, so I'm just going to shoot you too. Whatever. That crime is motivated
00:10:58.900 by a total indifference to human life. So life matters. Yes, black life matters. All life matters.
00:11:11.060 That is an important message. Those killers, tell them that.
00:11:18.280 That's where the message needs to be. But these are exactly the cases that BLM, Antifa, the left,
00:11:26.200 ignores. All right, we're going to move on to five headlines.
00:11:36.000 Quick tip here, folks. If I'm ever in possession of some kind of important information and you need
00:11:41.680 to torture me to get it out of me, which I'd prefer if you didn't. But if you needed to,
00:11:47.940 here's how to do it. This is the torture method that would cause me to crack and tell you everything
00:11:52.220 I know within like five minutes. Tops. Okay, right here. The Daily Wire reports on August 1st,
00:11:56.760 HBO Sports will air Seeing America with Megan Rapinoe, a conversation featuring Rapinoe,
00:12:03.140 the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team Captain, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez,
00:12:07.680 1619 Project creator Nicole Hannah-Jones, and comedia Hassan Minaj. This is my hell. This is
00:12:15.600 literally my hell. Dear God. Horrifying. Better not to dwell on it. Let's move on to number two.
00:12:21.980 Warner Brothers Media, this is also from the Daily Wire, is investigating the Ellen DeGeneres show amid
00:12:26.600 accusations of workplace abuse. According to a variety of executives from Telepictures,
00:12:30.960 which produces Ellen's show and distributor Warner Brothers Television, sent a memo to staffers last
00:12:37.080 week announcing Warner Media's Employees Relations Division, and a third-party firm will be interviewing
00:12:41.400 current and former staffers about their experience working on the show. As the Daily Wire reported
00:12:46.020 earlier this month, BuzzFeed interviewed several former employees of the show who claim they experienced
00:12:50.580 a toxic work environment counter to Ellen's image as a kind-hearted person. So there's been stories
00:12:57.980 for years about Ellen DeGeneres being basically a terrible person who treats her subordinates like
00:13:02.340 garbage. I've known this for a long time, and I'm not in the know at all, and I don't follow
00:13:10.640 celebrity gossip very closely, but even I had heard this. So if I heard about this, it's hard
00:13:17.040 to believe that Warner Media is just now finding out. They aren't, of course. It's just that everyone
00:13:22.480 else is finding out. It's officially becoming common knowledge, and that means that they have
00:13:27.240 to pretend to do something. They have to pretend to care. If you haven't read the accusations against
00:13:31.980 Ellen, you can find them anywhere online. It's just what I said. I mean, she treats, allegedly,
00:13:37.560 the people around her like utter crap all the time and is a diva on steroids, as the accusation goes.
00:13:46.260 Some people find this surprising about Ellen, and I can't really see why you'd be surprised.
00:13:53.400 Is it because her brand on television is that of a friendly, lovable person? Is it because she brings
00:14:00.100 people on the show to perform acts of charity for them in front of a live studio audience? You know,
00:14:05.980 she brings a, whatever, a kid goes viral with some cute video, and then she brings the kid on and
00:14:11.380 interviews them, and then gives them a bunch of toys, you know, in front of everybody.
00:14:16.820 Is that, I mean, did anyone really think that that reflects her character? That proves that she's a,
00:14:22.680 oh, yes, you're performing charity in front of an audience that's clapping for you. I mean,
00:14:29.280 you're literally getting a standing ovation live on the set as you perform an act of charity.
00:14:35.480 It's nice, it's good for the person who's receiving the charity after all good for the
00:14:39.340 kid that gets all the toys and all that kind of stuff, but it doesn't tell me anything about you
00:14:43.440 at all. None of that even remotely tells us about your character. Just because someone's nice on TV
00:14:51.080 with cameras rolling doesn't mean that they're a good person once the light switches off,
00:14:54.680 obviously. Really, if you want to find one indicator, one thing that tells you everything
00:15:01.180 you need to know about a person's character, it's obviously not how they act when the camera's on.
00:15:05.740 It's also not how they treat their friends or anything like that. Everybody's nice to their
00:15:10.580 friends. That's the whole point. That's why they're your friends. It's how they treat people who they can
00:15:15.280 get away with abusing. So Ellen can't get away with heaping abuse on people on TV,
00:15:22.660 nor can she really do it to her fellow celebrities, people who are on her level,
00:15:28.660 but she can and did apparently direct this abuse to people beneath her, you know, interns, staff,
00:15:34.240 et cetera. Um, and everyone, no matter who you are, what position you have, there are people below you
00:15:39.360 on the totem pole, at least in some situations. I mean, all of us, no matter how powerless we are,
00:15:46.300 usually like there are situations throughout the day that we're in where we have some kind of power
00:15:51.380 over another person. And if you are an a-hole in those situations, even if it only happens briefly,
00:16:02.720 right? If you're an a-hole in those situations, then you're just a terrible person.
00:16:08.020 If you take advantage of those power dynamics to be the a-hole you can be, you're, you're an awful
00:16:13.060 person down the board. And we know that about you because it doesn't matter how you act towards your
00:16:16.780 friends or how generous or nice you are to them. All that matters, as far as assessing someone's
00:16:21.480 character, all that matters is how they act towards the people they can get away with treating poorly.
00:16:29.140 That's all that matters. And I was actually thinking about this when I was, um, at the DMV last week,
00:16:35.360 because, you know, at, DMV is a perfect example of this. Yeah, the DMV, uh, is, is someone,
00:16:42.560 you know, there's the woman sitting in the booth, booth, uh, the booth. Sure. There's the woman
00:16:47.980 sitting in the booth across from you and you're doing whatever, changing registrations, getting a
00:16:52.500 license, whatever it is. She has enormous power over you in, in that situation. Now, as soon as you
00:16:59.160 leave, she doesn't really, but when you're sitting there, she's got a, she has you in her grasp.
00:17:05.140 Um, and if she wants to make your life miserable, she can do it. And the reason people hate the DMV
00:17:11.260 is that some DMV employees enjoy taking advantage of that power dynamic of that momentary grasp they
00:17:18.420 have on you and do, and they do exactly that. They just make your life miserable for no apparent
00:17:23.240 reason. But I was thinking about this because the woman that I was dealing with at the DMV last week
00:17:30.100 was the opposite. She was super friendly and kind and was, uh, uh, was trying to help me so that the
00:17:37.220 DMV process was as painless as possible, you know, and, uh, I thought to myself, wow, this is a very
00:17:42.640 good person. I, I'm interacting with her for a few minutes. I don't know anything about her.
00:17:47.860 Don't even know her name. I could tell you, this is a good person, a hundred percent, just because
00:17:52.940 of this right here. She doesn't have to be this nice, but she is. So, um, that's how you can assess
00:18:01.260 people's character. And that's why in conclusion, Ellen DeGeneres is terrible. Number three, Nick
00:18:06.200 Sandman, the, uh, Covington Catholic student who was slandered all over the media reached a settlement
00:18:10.620 in his defamation suit against the Washington post this week. This after reaching a settlement with
00:18:15.380 CNN a few months ago, but CNN is not done defaming him. It seems Brian Stelter, CNN anchor retweeted a
00:18:22.580 tweet from a lawyer named Mark Zaid. And the tweet said, um, those with zero legal experience,
00:18:29.200 as far as I can tell, should not be conjecturing on lawsuits. They know nothing about what kind
00:18:33.920 of journalism is that I've litigated defamation suits, uh, defamation cases. Sandman was undoubtedly
00:18:40.600 paid nuisance value settlement and nothing more. Well, so Stelter didn't say that, but he did retweet
00:18:46.920 it. And Sandman's lawyer, Lynn Wood says that this could easily breach CNN's confidentiality agreement
00:18:52.680 because they aren't allowed to discuss the terms of the settlement. Yet here's Stelter
00:18:57.800 maybe, I guess he would argue not discussing it, but, but, uh, amplifying someone who is
00:19:05.420 and discussing it through a proxy in effect. And Wood indicates that the, that it's, he's lying
00:19:11.220 anyway, uh, that the claim isn't true. So they're just, you can only imagine how angry these, the people
00:19:20.880 at Washington post and CNN are, um, and how much they hate this kid, how much they absolutely hate
00:19:29.120 him. They are, they are overcome with hate because they're not used to this. This isn't how it's
00:19:35.720 supposed to go. They slander and defame people all the time, especially speaking of power dynamics,
00:19:42.500 especially focusing on people don't have any power to fight back. And they thought that's what they were
00:19:46.780 doing here. You know, they consider it from, from, from their perspective, you know, you almost feel
00:19:52.720 sorry for them. Well, not really, but they've been doing this for so long, just defaming people.
00:19:58.220 It doesn't matter. Painting people as racist, just, you know, just destroying people's life casually,
00:20:03.080 like it's nothing. And, um, and all of a sudden out of nowhere, they figure, okay, well, you know,
00:20:10.780 here we've got a case, just a bunch of high school kids, white high school kids. We could do this
00:20:14.660 to them. Well, you know, no big deal. We'll destroy their lives, get some clicks out of it,
00:20:19.220 a virtue signal a little bit. Their lives are destroyed. We move on. This is the process.
00:20:23.560 This is what we do. And then Nick Sandman comes out of nowhere and actually fights back and wins
00:20:29.200 these, these poor people at CNN and Washington post. I mean, they're really the victims here.
00:20:36.740 They're the victims because they weren't able to victimize someone else, or at least they
00:20:40.260 victimize someone else. And, uh, and then they got, they got hit back in the nose. Number four,
00:20:45.760 an ACLU lawyer named Chase Strangio has, uh, accused JK Rowling of contributing to genocide
00:20:52.560 by arguing that, uh, because, you know, JK Rowling has argued that biological sex exists. That's really
00:21:00.560 her entire argument. Um, she's not even, despite what we hear now, she, she, she is far from a
00:21:07.900 conservative on gender issues or on any issue at all. The only thing she has said on, when it comes
00:21:16.620 to transgenderism that the left doesn't like is just that biological sex exists. But that's of
00:21:22.220 course enough to make her, um, not just evil, but genocidal. So Chase Strangio has said that, uh, she
00:21:29.340 is contributing to genocide. Let me read, let me read this diatribe from, uh, Strangio. This is what it
00:21:34.360 says. Okay. This is part of it anyway. It would be nice to ignore the Harry Potter person, but the
00:21:40.920 rhetoric being used on her massive platform is feeding a genocidal impulse that already exists
00:21:46.440 in government and within individuals. She is dangerous. Situating the trans subject and the
00:21:52.900 trans body in the contested discursive space, the way she does pulls the conversation around
00:21:58.040 transness into the posture of working to locate the legitimate trans subject. Did you get that?
00:22:04.020 Okay. Uh, the, the idea being that we must defend against the allegation that too many trans people
00:22:09.480 in the world reflects a problem that is after all her point. And in so doing, we see the conversation
00:22:13.640 to assist people in institutions and perhaps most insidiously in so doing, we give the false
00:22:18.320 impression that sexed bodies are things only trans people have by obscuring the larger structural
00:22:23.900 impulses behind bodily policing and the violence of the sex binary. We ensure the content, the
00:22:29.620 continuation of these structures. Okay. Now, first of all, there is no genocide of trans people
00:22:37.740 happening. That should go without saying this person is making that up. Uh, I mean, unless you count the
00:22:44.660 treatment of LGBT people in, in Muslim countries, if that's what we're talking about, then all right,
00:22:51.060 maybe you've got a case, but something tells me that old Strangio here is not intending for this
00:22:55.920 to be uniquely a criticism of Muslim societies or a criticism of Muslim societies at all.
00:23:02.880 Something tells me, in fact, that as far as this person is concerned, we would just,
00:23:07.420 when talking about the plight of LGBT people in the world, we would just skip over, uh, Muslim
00:23:12.460 countries entirely and focus completely on what's happening in the West. But in any case, genocide or
00:23:18.980 not defending biology does not amount to genocide or contribute to it or feed it. Okay. But really,
00:23:25.780 I want you to focus on the ridiculous lengths this person is going to make the anti-science
00:23:33.700 position seem intelligent and scholarly. Yeah. Situating the trans subject and the trans body in
00:23:40.120 the contested discursive space, the way she does pulls the conversation around transness into posturing,
00:23:45.700 into the posture of working to locate the legitimate trans subject. That sentence uses
00:23:51.380 about 30 words and loads of jargon to communicate something that could be conveyed simply in about
00:23:55.340 10 words. And, and, and, and don't be fooled by this. Okay. This is the mark of an, of an
00:24:00.500 unintelligent person who wants to seem intelligent, truly intelligent people who have legitimate points
00:24:07.160 to make, make them in ways that are clear and easy to understand. That's what a really intelligent,
00:24:13.960 a really intelligent person can understand jargony concepts. Okay. Um, that's, that's one level of
00:24:22.560 intelligence is to understand what's being said. The next level, real intelligence is being able to
00:24:28.000 convey and communicate it stripped of the jargon in a straightforward, simple way. If you can't do that,
00:24:34.320 then it tells me you're not really that smart, or it tells me you're a pompous ass who is, who,
00:24:39.400 who maybe could be more clear, but you're being unclear intentionally to show off your intelligence.
00:24:45.820 So either way, um, either way it's, it's, you know, in this case, it's kind of a defense mechanism,
00:24:51.120 uh, because, okay. Yeah. And it works, right. I have to, I have to hand it to them in a way it works
00:24:58.640 because they use a lot of academic jargon when, especially when it comes to the gender ideology
00:25:04.900 on the left, all in service of the claim that men can have babies, essentially all of this,
00:25:11.840 everything you just heard is in service to the claim that a man can get pregnant,
00:25:17.620 which is to call that a dumb position would be an insult to stupidity. This, this is a delusional,
00:25:30.440 insane position, but they trick some people into thinking that their position is smart and sciencey
00:25:38.580 just by putting in a lot of scholarly jargon and all of that. Uh, number five, finally,
00:25:44.340 here's the San Francisco weekly. I'm just going to, I'm just going to give you their,
00:25:47.640 the caption. Um, it says surfing, surfing, despite its roots in indigenous Pacific Islander history
00:25:54.440 has been seen as a sport for straight white men for far too long. Okay. So now surfing is racist
00:26:00.900 too. Just, just wanted to update you on that. Surfing is racist. Um, and I just want to say about
00:26:07.600 that to be clear. Okay. I agree. And I think we need to repeal the laws prohibiting non-white people
00:26:19.560 from buying surfboards and going to the ocean. I, I didn't know that law existed. If it does,
00:26:27.680 I say it's, it's 2020. Let's get rid of it. I will take that stand right now. So thank you to
00:26:32.880 the San Francisco weekly. We are, we are together in this movement. Um, and that's your five headlines.

00:27:52.200 canceling Joe Biden, and this is not his first cancellation. Of course, won't be his last.
00:27:56.260 The fact that I have to cancel some people so many times may lead you to believe that
00:28:00.780 my cancellations are rather ineffective and, uh, even pointless, you might say. But if you think
00:28:06.880 that, then you are also canceled. Stop picking on me, you bully. Um, anyway, so Joe Biden is canceled
00:28:13.700 for something that he, he tweeted yesterday. Uh, this is his tweet. It says the hard truth is women
00:28:19.700 and particularly women of color have never had a fair shot to get ahead in this country. That's why today
00:28:24.300 I'm releasing my plan to make sure women can fully participate in our economy and country.
00:28:29.520 And then he, then he has his link to his plan, his very important plan for women. Now I like how
00:28:34.840 there are a couple of things here. I like how the phrase, the hard truth has, has become a euphemism
00:28:39.800 for lie. You hear this a lot from politicians. The hard truth is this. And then what follows
00:28:45.180 invariably is a steaming load of horse manure. No lies are not hard truths. They might be, they might
00:28:50.800 be hard to disguise as the truth. If that's what you mean. I I'm working very hard to make you believe
00:28:56.920 this is the truth. Maybe that's the meaning in which case. Okay. But that's not a hard truth. The
00:29:02.160 other thing, uh, that, that, that you take from the statement of Joe Biden's is just how broad and lazy
00:29:07.420 the victim culture has become in our country. Women don't get a fair shot to get ahead in this
00:29:11.920 country. What women, are we talking about the same people here? Women. I mean, you never know these
00:29:18.080 days. I laugh. They don't even know what a woman is. So you never know. But women actually have a
00:29:22.920 very fair shot to get ahead. Too fair. If anything, women are ahead already in most, in almost every
00:29:28.780 meaningful metric. Men are less likely to have college degrees, more likely to drop out of high
00:29:33.760 school, more likely to be suspended or expelled, more likely to be homeless, more likely to be drug
00:29:38.660 addicts, more likely to be homicide victims, more likely to commit suicide, more likely to get injured
00:29:42.780 on a job, more likely to go to prison. In fact, women get lighter sentences for the same crimes in
00:29:47.700 federal court. Um, so that means the court system favors women. The education system favors women
00:29:53.560 due to a form of affirmative action and other factors. Employers favor women. Women have all
00:29:59.600 the rights men have, and some rights men don't have. Women, for example, here's a big one, have soul
00:30:05.580 say over whether to kill their child in the womb or not. They are judge, jury, and executioner over human
00:30:11.200 life legally. Women not only have the chance to get ahead, but are ahead. And thanks in large part to
00:30:17.080 the fact that every system favors them, and often drastically so. And this is one of the reasons
00:30:22.640 why the feminist movement has become so insane and fractured and weird in this country. There's just no
00:30:27.020 use for it. They have nothing to do. Modern America is already everything a feminist could want, and then
00:30:32.640 some. Except that feminists want women to be persecuted. And they're not that. And that's what really
00:30:40.400 upsets them. That is the one thing, that is the one additional thing they want. They want everything.
00:30:46.240 They want all the advantages and privileges that they have, but they also want to be persecuted on
00:30:50.620 top of it. Because persecution, being able to claim persecution and victimhood is the ultimate
00:30:55.460 privilege. And so that is the last thing that they are clamoring for. And they can't get it. This is the
00:31:03.080 irony here. They clamored for every privilege known to man, or in this case known to woman, and got it.
00:31:11.360 And because of that, they can't get the final thing, which is the victimhood they so desperately
00:31:16.780 crave. So yes, women are ahead, can get ahead. I think Joe Biden knows that. I mean, at this point,
00:31:22.800 who knows what he knows and doesn't know, or if he even understands what he's saying. But Joe Biden
00:31:28.060 is canceled for that lazy and ridiculous bit of pandering. And we'll throw in feminists are canceled
00:31:33.760 too, just because. We'll cancel them again. But that goes without saying, during every cancellation,
00:31:38.620 the feminists are canceled as well. And so there it is. Sorry about that, Joe. We'll leave it there.
00:31:45.540 Thanks for watching, everybody. Thanks for listening. Have a great day. Godspeed.
