Summary

Cardi B's new song about her own genitals is the perfect example of why the people defending and celebrating the song are hypocrites. Plus: Another BLM supporter pulls a gun on a motorist who committed the crime of trying to drive on a public road, and in our daily cancellation, I will cancel the climate alarmists who have scared children so much that now some kids are traumatized when they go outside.

00:00:00.000 Today on the Matt Wall Show, the number one song in the world right now consists of a couple of
00:00:03.980 women shouting about their genitals. And we're told that this is empowering and sex positive
00:00:08.860 and inspiring. But in fact, it is, of course, the opposite. And all of the people defending
00:00:13.740 and celebrating the song are hypocrites. And I'll explain why. Also five headlines, including
00:00:18.180 another BLM supporter pulls a gun on a motorist who committed the crime of trying to drive on
00:00:23.340 a public road. And in our daily cancellation, I will cancel the climate alarmists who have
00:00:28.240 scared children so much that now some kids, according to the Daily Mail anyway, are traumatized
00:00:32.940 when they go outside. All of that on the way. But first, listen, this is simple as far as I'm
00:00:39.020 concerned. Everyone, absolutely everyone needs a VPN to protect them. If you're using the internet
00:00:44.340 without one, you're being needlessly reckless. So get with the program. Get ExpressVPN, in fact.
00:00:50.320 I mean, just think about censorship on social media sites. The left wants to silence and remove any
00:00:54.720 voices they don't agree with. Twitter, for example, was supposed to be an open platform.
00:00:58.760 I don't need their content moderators acting like the op-ed section of the New York Times.
00:01:03.100 So instead of letting social media sites revoke your right to free speech, how about revoking
00:01:08.600 their right to your data? I think maybe that's what we should be doing instead. Now, you could just
00:01:13.880 deactivate all your social media accounts. But problem is, you know, that would be giving the left
00:01:17.860 just what they wanted in the first place. Instead of doing that, of retreating, I take
00:01:23.800 actual steps to protect myself. I use ExpressVPN. Ever wondered how free to access social media sites
00:01:30.380 make all their money? Well, by tracking your searches, your video history, everything you
00:01:34.460 click on, and then selling your valuable data. When you use ExpressVPN, you anonymize much of your
00:01:42.000 online presence by hiding your IP address. That's, you know, the basics of how it works. It's pretty
00:01:47.080 simple, really. And that makes your activity more difficult to trace and also more difficult to
00:01:51.680 sell to advertisers because they have no right to be doing that anyway. This is your information,
00:01:54.800 your data. And ExpressVPN couldn't be easier to set up. You just tap one button on your phone,
00:02:00.260 your computer, and you're protected. ExpressVPN also encrypts 100% of your data to protect you
00:02:06.920 from hackers and internet bad guys. Look, it's just always a good idea to protect yourself on the
00:02:12.220 internet. There's no reason not to. There's no downside. So it's finally time to say,
00:02:17.080 no to censorship and take back your online privacy at expressvpn.com slash Walsh. By visiting my
00:02:23.040 special link, you'll get an extra three months of ExpressVPN service for free. Again, that's
00:02:27.200 expressvpn.com slash Walsh, E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N.com slash Walsh, expressvpn.com slash Walsh to protect
00:02:36.100 your data today. Okay. Let's get into this. Now, many people in the culture are intensely
00:02:47.420 focused on rooting out problematic language and toxic messages. They insist that we must
00:02:52.720 rename sports teams and objects in outer space and rebrand grocery items and ban books and censor
00:03:01.740 films all for the sake of protecting society from the harm that inappropriate words and ideas may
00:03:06.360 cause. Anyone who steps outside the perceived lines of decency is condemned with a hostility
00:03:11.500 that we once reserved only for rapists and murderers. It would be quite confusing then for
00:03:17.000 any alien who lands on this planet or any person who emerges after being lost in the rainforest for
00:03:22.760 the past five decades to discover just what sort of media these perpetually scandalized damsels
00:03:28.440 in distress enjoy. Because the very same people who were so traumatized by a fast food CEO's
00:03:35.200 comments that they boycotted his chicken restaurant for eight years, and the very same people who have
00:03:40.540 tearfully denounced offensive Disney costumes worn by children, and the very same people who are
00:03:46.580 liable to break into convulsions of anger if you say something really provocative like men have
00:03:52.140 penises, and the very same people who invented concepts like trigger warnings and safe spaces are the
00:03:57.620 ones who will listen to appreciate and celebrate the most vulgar and degrading television shows,
00:04:03.820 films, and songs made by some of the most loathsome and repulsive people this country has ever produced.
00:04:09.920 They are Puritans about all that is innocuous and Libertines about all that is genuinely objectionable.
00:04:16.380 They have, in a word, everything backwards. And never has that contrast been clearer than with the
00:04:22.660 reaction to the latest bit of audible sewage from the rapper Cardi B. Now, before we get into the song,
00:04:29.500 we should note that Cardi B, a former stripper, has admitted publicly that she used to drug and take
00:04:34.500 advantage of men. In her own words, in fact, listen to this.
00:04:38.400 You gotta go to a good studio, and you gotta put in that bread. I did it with my money. So for a
00:04:44.900 f*** to say that I don't motherf***ing deserve it, because I don't put in no f***ing work. Now,
00:04:49.940 that's when I put that f*** in this bucket. Because I did it myself. Now, you must have forgot,
00:04:55.640 motherf***er, the s*** that I did. So motherf***er survive, like, I had to go straight. I had to go,
00:05:03.280 oh yeah, you wanna f*** me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's go to this hotel. And I dropped my f***ers up,
00:05:08.300 and I robbed them. That's what I used to do. Nothing was motherf***er giving to me, my n***er,
00:05:13.320 nothing. Nothing. So for a f*** to motherf***er say that I don't deserve s***, that's when I know
00:05:20.160 they're f***ing bugging, because they do not f***ing know the s*** that I have to do.
00:05:24.000 A real scholar there that we have on our hands. Cardi B Cosby's weak excuse for this behavior
00:05:29.240 is that she had to do it to survive. Yet she has elsewhere bragged that she made up to $3,000 a
00:05:35.020 night as a stripper and had $35,000 in singles, saved by the time she turned 22. CC IRS. For
00:05:42.180 comparison's sake, a surgeon earns around $120 an hour, which means that Cardi B, by her own testimony,
00:05:47.800 was taking in substantially more than a surgeon just by taking off her clothes. And yet she needed to
00:05:52.400 lure men back to her hotel room, drug them, and rob them in order to stave off starvation.
00:05:57.380 Somehow the story doesn't add up. It would seem that she is simply a sociopath and a predator who
00:06:02.240 enjoys preying upon other human beings, like Bill Cosby, who also drugged people and took advantage
00:06:07.340 of them. But this fact does not seem to have troubled Reebok or Pepsi, who have both signed
00:06:12.500 million-dollar endorsements with the confessed criminal. The cancel culture has ruined people's
00:06:17.260 lives over edgy tweets they posted as teenagers, yet Cardi B Cosby's personal history involves
00:06:23.240 drugging people and taking advantage of them, and she admits to it and brags about it and faces
00:06:27.300 absolutely no consequence for it, whatever. White privilege tends to manifest itself in rather
00:06:32.900 unexpected ways these days, you might say.
00:06:36.060 Now, Cardi's newest song, topping the charts in the US, the UK, across the world, is called WAP.
00:06:41.900 It's an acronym that I can't spell out on the air, which references female genitalia. In fact,
00:06:47.320 I can't repeat any of the lyrics on the air, but suffice it to say that the song begins and ends with
00:06:51.600 the refrain, there's some whores in this house, and everything that happens in between would seem
00:06:56.680 very much to confirm those declarations. The song wants to be extraordinarily vulgar, and it succeeds.
00:07:04.360 It also wants to be shocking, but in that regard it fails. For an artist to be truly shocking,
00:07:09.480 she must have wit and intelligence and vision. There is a severe scarcity of those qualities among
00:07:15.780 any of the people involved in this song, so they're reduced to being merely obnoxious instead.
00:07:21.060 The entire song is like something that someone might have scrawled in red ink on a bathroom stall.
00:07:25.300 In fact, I think that a bathroom stall may have a writing credit on this song, but I can't be sure.
00:07:29.380 The problem is less with the music itself, or the video accompanying it, than with the reaction to it.
00:07:36.560 In saner times, if women were rolling around on the floor and screaming about their genitals for
00:07:41.420 three and a half minutes, we would just ignore them, or perhaps refer them to a counselor who
00:07:45.080 specializes in that particular form of mania. But we don't live in sane times, and so a song with a
00:07:51.220 generic beat, mediocre production qualities, and semi-coherent lyrics encouraging women to make
00:07:55.660 prostitutes of themselves is celebrated as, according to the New York Times, or the LA Times rather,
00:08:00.440 a sex-positive triumph. And according to USA Today, an anthem of female fierceness.
00:08:08.200 And it gets even more absurd than that. There's an article on a website called Complex,
00:08:12.980 which hails WAP as a great cultural achievement. And it just goes into great detail talking about
00:08:20.600 this work. It exclaims, in part, WAP is the epitome of female empowerment. Both Cardi and Megan,
00:08:27.820 the other artist used the term loosely on the track, are powerhouses of female sexuality,
00:08:34.400 independence, and dominance. In a male-dominated genre that is often criticized for misogynistic
00:08:38.160 wordplay towards women, the two rappers have never shied away from taking back the narrative
00:08:42.000 of femininity and hip-hop. And during a time when black women have taken to social media to advocate
00:08:46.240 for their protection and support while basking in their blackness, the music video couldn't be
00:08:51.140 more timely. It continues on later, walking in the footsteps of iconic sex-positive female rappers
00:08:56.080 like Trina, Lil' Kim, and Kaya. Cardi and Megan splash around in a pool of water, which we can
00:09:02.740 assure you, which we can assume is symbolism for yup, and describe in detail what a night in bed with
00:09:09.500 them might be like. Though through cocky, self-assured lyrics, the duo own their sexuality and shine light
00:09:16.620 on other prominent sex symbols and female musicians. And then it continues on later, WAP is a prime example
00:09:24.300 of progressive womanhood and modern femininity. The theme of women prioritizing pleasure and joy
00:09:29.740 runs from start to finish. Liberation and power are showcased in lyrics, placing the track as the
00:09:34.840 duo's most forward and compelling expression. Also, the song slaps. Okay. Many other articles have
00:09:43.180 been written to inform us, predictably, that any criticism of this song is misogynistic and racist
00:09:49.380 and all the other iss and isms. And this is the real danger. There has always been stupid, degraded
00:09:56.420 vulgarity in the world, but it becomes especially, to use the favorite term of gender studies majors,
00:10:00.900 problematic when the degradation is presented to our children as something to aspire to. So that's the
00:10:08.180 issue here. Self-debasement is not empowering. And it is rather important that we make this point,
00:10:14.660 even if it does provide the people who are recently offended by a can of beans, an opportunity to call
00:10:20.300 someone else a snowflake for a change. But the difference between this criticism that I'm making
00:10:25.360 right now and leftist snowflakery is that the criticism here is warranted and the message being
00:10:31.700 criticized is actually harmful. Young girls are being explicitly encouraged by this song and by so much
00:10:39.380 else in pop culture to embrace their own objectification, to offer themselves up to be
00:10:44.620 used by men who see them as nothing more than a masturbatory device. They're being told to choose
00:10:51.260 emptiness over joy and to see stupidity and crassness as feminine. And the frauds who cheer this on and to
00:10:58.140 help to usher a generation of girls into a miserable life of whorishness and loneliness will soon revert
00:11:04.900 back to decrying the objectification of the female form and pinning the blame for that on the patriarchy
00:11:10.700 and other phantoms. The point here is that even the people actively promoting the objectification of
00:11:16.500 women and the commodification of sexuality know very well that the harm that it causes and will tell
00:11:22.520 you that if you catch them on a day when they're pretending to care about it. Now, I want you to
00:11:28.080 consider, just to further illustrate this, the words of a woman by the name of Suki Hana who appeared
00:11:35.840 in the WAP music video and later joined Cardi and the gang for a discussion promoted and broadcast by
00:11:41.640 Apple Music. Here's what she had to say. Listen to this.
00:11:45.220 I feel like being like sexual and shit, like I don't see nothing wrong with that because baby I got
00:11:53.780 three kids and I mean I got these kids from and at the end of the day me being a hoe like these
00:12:02.100 people say like honestly I liberate a lot of a lot of hoes. You feel me? When I hear Cardi talk about
00:12:09.320 popping some **** me and my **** is witty. Like we, that liberate us because it's like **** you
00:12:15.200 self-respect ass hoes. How y'all got self-respect? Like I don't think y'all got self-respect like that
00:12:21.340 because first of all you supposed to tax these **** that's self-respect. You feel me? Like I just,
00:12:28.120 it make me feel liberated. Like I love crossing boundaries because guess what? Scare money don't
00:12:32.940 make no money. If you're going to be scared to get that money, you're going to be scared to be yourself
00:12:35.960 and say that's who I am, then you ain't going to get that coin like that. Thanks.
00:12:41.040 Leaving aside the, that, the, the fingernails there that must make it impossible for her to eat a
00:12:45.760 Cheeto without blinding herself, notice the question she poses. How y'all got self-respect?
00:12:50.980 She asks. She quite literally doesn't even understand the concept of self-respect. She goes from recoiling at
00:12:58.360 the very idea that a woman would respect herself to suggesting that true self-respect is to be found
00:13:02.800 in the payment a man renders after having sex with you. Need I explain the problem here?
00:13:09.680 People pay for goods and services. To get paid for your sexuality is to have it treated with the
00:13:14.400 same reverence that one affords a hamburger or an oil change. You have reduced yourself, your body,
00:13:20.760 your very person to a commodity and offered it to someone who doesn't care about you,
00:13:25.300 certainly doesn't love you, and sees you only as a means to an end. This is the diametric
00:13:31.000 opposite of self-respect. Why do you think drug abuse and suicide are so common among prostitutes?
00:13:37.180 Reducing yourself to the sum total of your body parts is not a path to a healthy life or, or a long
00:13:42.180 one, we should note. It is a road to disappointment and despair and death where the fun, for whatever
00:13:47.940 it's worth, is sure to dissipate when your physical beauty wears away, if not long before.
00:13:54.020 This is the road that Cardi B, her fellow pop stars, and her insidious cheerleaders in the media
00:13:58.700 would like your daughter to walk down. And as a man with two daughters, I have no shame
00:14:05.760 or hesitation in saying to these forces, no, and go to hell. I'm sorry that you didn't have
00:14:12.900 a father who loved you, but my daughters do. And so they're going to know better. You can
00:14:18.560 go wallow in your own filth and misery all you want. I will make sure that my girls do not
00:14:23.800 follow you there. Let's go to five headlines. Okay. And here's another one of these. The Daily
00:14:36.140 Wire reports say Black Lives Matter protester allegedly pulled a gun on a truck in Indianapolis
00:14:40.760 late last week as the truck tried to get around a group of protesters that were occupying the road.
00:14:45.700 A video of the incident went viral on social media over the weekend.
00:14:47.980 Um, but the incident appears to have happened last Thursday. Here's the video.
00:14:52.940 Go ahead. Get that baby up. Get that baby up.
00:14:53.940 Well, believe it or not, he's a soldier with police. He's a maneuverable. He ain't
00:14:54.240 gotten hit nobody. Come on, get hurt. See, see, see, I go down. He's a mechanic, he's gonna
00:14:59.080 see about the veteran. Oh, yeah. I know. Help
00:14:59.740 the event of the middle. Don't want to talk about the staff on the staff. Don't want to take
00:15:04.200 minutes to turn, but you've done a penalty of discipline? Don't want to claim us. Don't
00:15:04.620 day out on thismic! Don't want to drink! Don't don'tче go an inhaler! Did you
00:15:08.100 Alaska, Don't want to drink that time,li chicken, call in. Get back up the
00:15:20.060 night. You want Brown? Get up my favorite! omimo yell daddy swigs that time,так! Don't want to take a
00:15:21.640 What you have to understand here is that these leftist, quote unquote, protesters,
00:15:46.280 they have been driven so mad by their own sense of entitlement. They have gone so crazy with
00:15:54.600 entitlement that they really, at this point, don't even understand the concept of, they stand in the
00:16:03.720 middle of the road with a gun and point it at a driver. They really think they have a right to do
00:16:08.160 that. I believe that they actually believe they have a right to do it, which is why if you ever
00:16:14.920 say to them, you know, you're not supposed to do it. What do you mean? What do you mean I can't do
00:16:18.940 this? This is freedom. Stop being a fascist. They really don't get it. Because as I said,
00:16:26.840 they have quite literally been driven mad by their sense of entitlement. Number two, speaking of
00:16:33.060 madness, report in the AP says, Riverdale Nursing Home in the Bronx appears on paper to have escaped
00:16:37.520 the worst of the coronavirus pandemic with an official count of just four deaths in its 146
00:16:43.360 bed facility. The truth, according to the home, is far worse. 21 dead, most transported to hospitals
00:16:49.360 before they succumbed. It was a cascading effect. Administrator Emily Fuzayev recalled, one after the
00:16:56.780 other, New York's coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation,
00:17:00.900 could actually be a significant undercount. Unlike every other state with major outbreaks,
00:17:05.460 New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who were
00:17:10.260 transported to hospitals and died there. The statistic could add thousands to the state's
00:17:14.740 official care home death toll of just 6,600. But so far, the administration of Democratic
00:17:20.120 Governor Andrew Cuomo has refused to divulge the number, leading to speculation that the state is
00:17:23.980 manipulating the figures to make it appear it is doing a better job than other states and making a
00:17:30.440 tragic situation less dire. So this is, I mean, nothing to see here. Just, you know, we start with
00:17:36.840 government policies that directly killed thousands, and now we go to an actual conspiracy to cover up
00:17:44.120 how bad the damage is. And Governor Cuomo is just sailing through this, no problem at all.
00:17:49.820 No problem at all for him. You know, that's democratic privilege for you. Number three,
00:17:56.380 my personal favorite musical artist, Tekashi69, a poet and musician even more brilliant and insightful
00:18:03.080 than Cardi B, if you can believe it, is causing controversy today, not because of his lyrics or
00:18:07.660 because he's a convicted violent felon who only escaped a half century in prison because
00:18:11.580 he turned around and snitched on the other gang members and his crew. Not because of that,
00:18:16.460 but because he wrote a subway without a mask. Watch.
00:18:20.360 discovered that she said...
00:18:23.740 She said...
00:18:24.780 She said...
00:18:25.740 She said...
00:18:27.140 She said...
00:18:33.640 She said...
00:18:37.840 She said...
00:18:49.680 Just shocking behavior there. Shocking. And this is what people are upset about.
00:18:54.940 And it goes back to what I what I said at the top about even though, you know, if you criticize pop music or whatever it is that Tekashi six nine does, you're always going to be you're going to have people scoffing at you and say, oh, just just relax.
00:19:09.300 It's just it's just music. You snowflake. Yet these are the people that are offended by everything.
00:19:14.100 In this case, they're offended by a guy because he's not wearing a mask on the subway. And and I didn't even mention in the Cardi B song.
00:19:22.260 Actually, there has been some leftist backlash against the song. It's got nothing to do with the celebration of the objectification of women.
00:19:30.880 It's two reasons. Number one, Kylie Jenner is in the song and that's a controversy.
00:19:35.580 I have no idea why I think it's just it's literally just because she's white.
00:19:38.760 So there are people that are upset that a white person is in the song and also that there's tigers.
00:19:45.480 There are big cats. And so and so, you know, the tiger, Carol Baskin chimed in and other animal rights people have been offended.
00:19:54.640 But so those are the two things we're worried about. We're worried about the tigers and we're worried that a white person was allowed in the video because you can't you can't have any of that.
00:20:03.480 OK. Number four, The Huffington Post reports a Washington man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly assaulting a 72 year old veteran over a face mask dispute.
00:20:13.920 Police apprehended Cody Hansen, 35, at his home after he was reported.
00:20:20.260 The July 18th incident left the unidentified victim with a broken jaw and cornea abrasion.
00:20:24.560 And what happened is a partially disabled elderly veteran and he was they were looks like they were at a hotel.
00:20:34.800 Yeah, OK, they were in the lobby of a hotel. The the elderly man says something to Hansen's girlfriend because she wasn't wearing a face mask.
00:20:43.600 And then Hansen later returns and does this.
00:20:47.400 If you ever had any if you had any hope or optimism about humanity's chances in general or its chances of surviving some sort of apocalyptic situation, rebuilding society, if you had any hope about that, it should be gone now just based on this mask stuff.
00:21:04.400 I mean, really, really, on both sides, just the way people are acting.
00:21:11.240 Violently assaulting each other over wearing a mask or not wearing one.
00:21:16.420 It's total lunacy.
00:21:18.420 Number five. Well, we've talked a lot about lunacy.
00:21:21.320 Let's go to a little a little a little gleaming light, a small bit of a bit of sanity.
00:21:26.740 It's a small matter, but I think we have to I tend to latch on to any sanity that I see now and because I got to find hope somewhere.
00:21:35.080 So this is from a deadline reports.
00:21:37.340 The Simpsons actor Harry Shearer, who gives voice to characters ranging from elderly miser Mr.
00:21:42.180 Burns to the unflappable of African-American physician Dr.
00:21:44.680 Julius Hibbert, isn't quite in agreement with the long running shows to recent decision to stop using white actors for non-white characters.
00:21:52.520 Shearer, this is what he said in an interview on Times Radio.
00:21:55.300 I have a very simple belief about acting.
00:21:57.760 The job of the actor is to play someone who they're not.
00:22:00.720 Wow. That's a provocative.
00:22:02.780 That's provocative these days.
00:22:05.020 To just define what acting is, is provocative and controversial.
00:22:09.340 And actually, not everyone agrees.
00:22:11.060 A lot of people don't agree.
00:22:12.680 The issue has been the source of debate with regard to Fox is Fox is the Simpsons since the documentary The Problem with Apu.
00:22:20.840 Apu and last year's announcement by Hank Azaria that Apu, who portrays Apu, that he's going to step away from the role.
00:22:29.100 Though Shearer pointed out that he was not opining on whether the producer's recent decision was a mistake, he says that, you know, playing a range of characters is the gig.
00:22:36.860 That's the job description.
00:22:37.920 He continues.
00:22:38.440 I think there's a conflation between representation, which is important.
00:22:42.900 Shearer suggests that he disagreed with conflation between representation and performance.
00:22:46.600 People from all backgrounds should be represented in the writing and producing end of the business, so they help decide what stories to tell and with what knowledge.
00:22:54.720 But he adds again, the job is playing someone I'm not.
00:23:00.360 This is, there's nothing to disagree with here.
00:23:04.980 It's really basic common sense.
00:23:07.100 This is what an actor does.
00:23:08.180 You pretend to be something that you're not.
00:23:10.540 But this is where we are in our culture right now, where even, this is an actor saying, my job is to pretend to be something I'm not.
00:23:20.060 And this is headline news these days.
00:23:24.840 All right, let's get to our daily cancellation.
00:23:26.560 Before we do, I want to tell you guys about the most exclusive membership tier over at The Daily Wire, which is All Access.

00:24:04.400 Now for our daily cancellation.
00:24:05.660 We're going to cancel climate alarmists.
00:24:07.560 Yes, but I want to be specific here because, frankly, if you in the privacy of your own home tremble in fear of the day when the ice caps melt and you're washed away by the tidal wave, that's your concern.
00:24:18.720 We all have our own irrational fears.
00:24:21.680 Mine is that I'll get into an elevator and it will explode out of the top of the building and I'll end up in outer space.
00:24:27.720 It's been known to happen, folks.
00:24:29.000 Okay, don't laugh.
00:24:30.200 It can happen.
00:24:30.980 It's science.
00:24:31.400 But the point is we all have our fears that we cherish and hold dear, and that's okay.
00:24:36.600 Okay, I wouldn't want to deprive you of that.
00:24:38.700 What is not okay is when you impose those fears on children.
00:24:42.540 That's when I step in and issue fervent cancellations.
00:24:46.080 And that brings us to this Daily Mail article, and the headline is,
00:24:49.840 Some children find spending time in nature distressing because it can trigger feelings of anxiety and despair linked to climate change.
00:24:56.960 The article says,
00:25:26.960 How the climate change message is resonating with children.
00:25:31.060 Children and teenagers were triggered by the natural world and their inability to control what was happening to the unraveling biosphere, according to the team.
00:25:39.980 Nothing wrong with that.
00:25:40.800 Children being triggered by the natural world, that's perfectly natural, right?
00:25:44.680 Nothing to be concerned about.
00:25:45.940 The authors found that measures currently used to connect children to the natural world can help others cope with feelings of fear linked to climate change.
00:25:52.960 Many children know they are inheriting a changing world that is likely to get worse.
00:25:57.160 And this leads them to feelings of anxiety and despair.
00:26:00.540 Okay.
00:26:01.840 Let me say, if your child even knows what the phrase unraveling biosphere means, much less actively worries about it,
00:26:12.000 you are doing something terribly wrong as a parent.
00:26:15.200 A child should not spend any time worrying about any sort of doomsday scenario, especially ones that are as far-fetched and absurd as the climate change apocalypse.
00:26:24.940 Even if it was true, even if the world really did teeter on the brink of ecological disaster, why would you tell your kid about it?
00:26:33.040 What can he do with the information?
00:26:35.080 How can he solve it?
00:26:36.000 What do you want your 11-year-old to do to fix the weather?
00:26:40.000 If the answer is nothing, then leave him alone and let him have a childhood, you absolute maniac.
00:26:47.720 Now, there are other more plausible and likely Armageddon's potentially on the horizon.
00:26:52.520 A solar flare could knock out all of our communication, send us back to the Stone Age.
00:26:56.320 A supervolcano could erupt any time, blot out the sun, kill our crops, starve us to death.
00:27:00.560 I mean, it could happen.
00:27:02.480 There could be an attack on the power grid.
00:27:04.600 There could be a nuclear holocaust.
00:27:05.740 There could be another pandemic, perhaps one that's bioengineered with a 50% mortality rate.
00:27:11.620 Who knows?
00:27:12.320 Hell, we could be invaded by aliens.
00:27:13.740 The Pentagon seems to be worried about that.
00:27:15.760 Anything could happen, some more likely than others.
00:27:19.300 And whatever does happen or doesn't, it almost is irrelevant on an individual level anyway because we're all doomed regardless.
00:27:26.980 No matter what happens, you have a death sentence and you will not live very long in the grand scheme.
00:27:32.700 I hate to tell you, the Earth, too, is on death row.
00:27:35.740 The sun will burn out eventually.
00:27:37.300 And in fact, before that happens, probably the Milky Way galaxy is going to collide with the Andromeda galaxy.
00:27:42.000 And that will probably not bode well for our little solar system over here.
00:27:45.560 Now it's four billion years in the future.
00:27:47.020 But still, no matter what, you will die.
00:27:51.080 And everyone you know will die.
00:27:53.120 Everything you've ever seen or touched and every piece of ground you've ever tread upon will be annihilated.
00:27:59.520 All of this is true.
00:28:00.540 But you know what?
00:28:01.800 I don't tell my kids that.
00:28:03.740 Why?
00:28:04.400 Because it's not their job to worry about that stuff right now.
00:28:07.560 Their job is to have fun, to run around, to play, to clean their room, do their lessons, clean up their plates after dinner.
00:28:12.540 All of that sort of thing.
00:28:13.580 That's what I want them worried about.
00:28:14.720 Those are their objectives throughout the day.
00:28:17.920 It's not fair to saddle children with far-fetched anxieties or even not-so-far-fetched anxieties.
00:28:23.080 But this is done for a reason, of course, and the reason is sinister.
00:28:26.600 There is no better tool for manipulation than fear.
00:28:29.660 And there's no easier group of people to scare than kids.
00:28:32.340 And so the climate alarmists prey upon kids, condition them, brainwash them while they're vulnerable and their minds are malleable.
00:28:40.220 That's what this is really about.
00:28:41.400 And that is why the fear-mongers are canceled.
00:28:48.600 Canceled.
00:28:49.820 Once again, with a vengeance, as all of my cancellations are performed.
00:28:55.940 We'll leave it there.
00:28:56.640 Thanks for watching the show, everybody.
00:28:57.800 Thanks for listening.
