The Matt Walsh Show - Ep. 598 - I Don’t Want Your ‘Unity,’ Joe

00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Walsh Show, the media calls the race for Joe Biden. With counts still ongoing and

00:00:04.780 the winner not actually determined, Biden delivered a victory speech where he called for

00:00:08.280 quote-unquote unity. The Democrats want to be pals again now that they think they've won.

00:00:14.100 And I'll explain why their gestures of friendship are pretty meaningless. Also, five headlines,

00:00:19.440 including the death of an icon and a very coincidental COVID miracle that's happening

00:00:25.260 that we have to talk about as well, plus our daily cancellation and much more.

00:00:28.620 Well, we start here with the events of Saturday. With the count still ongoing, as I said,

00:00:32.860 and a recount in Georgia not even started, legal challenges still being mounted. In other words,

00:00:37.380 when the matter of who actually won the election was still very much up in the air,

00:00:41.960 the media decided that it had seen enough and declared Joe Biden the winner. Now, as to this

00:00:46.400 decision, I will maintain my radical stance that we can never know who won any election until all

00:00:52.900 legal votes have been counted and accusations of improprieties have been investigated and litigated.

00:00:58.620 That hasn't happened yet in this case. So we remain in limbo whether the media chooses to

00:01:03.440 acknowledge it or not. But none of that stopped Joe Biden from taking to the stage, delivering his

00:01:08.580 victory speech, a speech that I thought was breathtaking in its dishonesty, phoniness, arrogance.

00:01:14.180 Granted that dishonesty, phoniness, arrogance, this is the general tenor of almost any political

00:01:18.360 victory speech or political speech of any other kind. But this one managed to raise the bar

00:01:23.680 by several notches. I think let's listen to some of the speech. I'm sorry to do this to you, but

00:01:28.500 I must. So let's let's listen. Tonight, we're seeing all over this nation, all cities in all

00:01:34.820 parts of the country. Indeed, across the world, an outpouring of joy, of hope, renewed faith in

00:01:42.120 tomorrow. Bring a better day. Okay, let's stop it there for just a moment. Yes, about that about that

00:01:49.160 outpouring of joy in cities across the country. It was an outpouring of something, certainly. Joy is

00:01:54.920 one word for it. Not the word I would use, but one word. Here's footage of one such outpouring.

00:01:59.940 This is in D.C. Thousands of people all crammed together. I'm told there was a lot of dancing in

00:02:03.700 the street. They were so happy. They were dancing. Good for them. I guess if you're a business owner in

00:02:09.160 one of these cities, you'd rather have them drinking in celebration from the wine bottles than

00:02:13.340 lighting them on fire and throwing them through your window. So that's an improvement. But of course,

00:02:17.400 the question does arise as you look at these images, did Joe Biden defeat COVID that quickly?

00:02:23.420 I knew it'd be quick. I mean, he did promise to shut down the virus. I just didn't think it'd

00:02:27.400 take him 30 minutes to do it. That's pretty impressive. Or is this yet another example of

00:02:32.520 the coronavirus being politically enlightened? You know, we already knew that it will spare you if

00:02:36.540 you're a BLM activist or a mourner at a funeral for a prominent Democrat. Will it also pass over you

00:02:41.640 like the angel of death in Egypt if you're expressing joy about Donald Trump allegedly being voted out of

00:02:46.580 office? Is this, you know, the coronavirus being politically enlightened or even just kind of

00:02:51.880 chill? Maybe it's going, hey, you know, they're having a good time. I'm not going to go getting

00:02:55.840 them all sick and stuff, bro. Let's not ruin the party, okay? Now, I can make a joke about it, but

00:03:01.980 it's actually not funny, especially if your child has been going to school on his computer for a year,

00:03:06.660 not getting a real education, or your grandfather had to die alone with no visitors, or your business was

00:03:13.000 destroyed. All of that had to happen, they told us, to keep us safe, but these clowns can have their 0.98

00:03:18.940 party in the middle of the street. Oh, and remember, a lot of these people are the same ones who are too 0.92

00:03:24.660 afraid to go to the polls to vote. They were too afraid to participate in the election in person,

00:03:29.360 but not too afraid to celebrate the ostensible result of the election in person. Right. It's a farce.

00:03:35.980 So it's a travesty. Speaking of farces, back to Joe's speech. I pledge to be a president who seeks

00:03:43.340 not to divide, but unify. Who doesn't see red states and blue states, only sees the United States.

00:03:54.720 And work with all my heart, with the confidence of the whole people, to win the confidence of all of

00:04:02.300 you. And for that, is what America, I believe, is about. It's about people. And that's what our

00:04:12.880 administration will be all about. I sought this office to restore the soul of America,

00:04:19.180 to rebuild the backbone of this nation, the middle class, and to make America respected around the

00:04:26.420 world again. And to unite us here at home. Now, parts of that were indecipherable, par for the

00:04:35.840 course, of course. He's a dementia patient, and it was past sundown. But from what I could gather,

00:04:41.060 Biden wants to unite us, heal us, bring us together, and, quote, restore our soul. I'm not sure how a soul

00:04:49.900 is restored, much less how a president can do it. Is it something that you do through executive order,

00:04:54.680 legislation, the Soul Restoration Act of 2021? Is that what's coming? Well, let's not get bogged down

00:05:00.800 on the details, I guess. The point simply is that we didn't have souls before, and now we do, because

00:05:05.160 a 78-year-old career politician says he's our new president. You know, there's this long-standing

00:05:10.600 theological debate, very interesting, about ensoulment. When does the soul enter the human body? Is it at

00:05:16.540 conception, some other point? Well, it turns out it's not conception, it's election, the election of Joe

00:05:21.540 Biden. That's how we all get souls. Good to have that sorted out, final. Now, Joe believes he's on

00:05:26.900 to something with this shtick. He's been tweeting like a fortune cookie for the past 48 hours, declaring

00:05:31.940 that we're now united, strengthened, healed. We have full hearts and steady hands, he said. We are running

00:05:39.480 arm in arm through fields of daffodils, rainbows stretched across the sky, unicorns fly overhead.

00:05:45.700 He said, all is right in the world now, because Uncle Joe is here to sniff our hair and tell us

00:05:50.200 it's okay. The media has dutifully latched onto this theme as well. A Time to Heal announces the

00:05:57.360 Time magazine cover, and the vaguely sentient bag of farts, New York Mayor Bill de Blasio,

00:06:03.860 also came out to celebrate our liberation by Joe Biden and our opportunity to heal. Here's what he had

00:06:10.560 to say. It's liberation. It's just joyous. People have felt this weight and a sense of we're divided,

00:06:17.400 and we shouldn't be that way. And now there's a feeling that anything's possible, that we can heal

00:06:21.800 again, that we can move forward. And look, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did something amazing.

00:06:27.520 This is turning out to be a huge victory all over the country, but it's also the beginning of the

00:06:32.200 healing. That's what we need in this country, this city everywhere. You know, it's an odd thing,

00:06:36.480 this healing, this unity, this liberation. Even as Biden lays his healing hands upon us

00:06:42.840 and keeps them there for an uncomfortably long time, other Democrats like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 0.99

00:06:48.580 are busy compiling enemies lists of people who supported Trump. Something called the Trump

00:06:52.660 Accountability Project has been formed for the purpose of blacklisting anyone who committed the

00:06:57.420 crime of wrongthink over the past four years. It appears that before we can hold hands and amid the

00:07:02.900 flowers and sing our songs of joy, a few, say 70 million or so heretics, must be burned at the 0.99

00:07:09.020 stake. Joe forgot to mention that part. The healing will commence only after his enemies have been 0.99

00:07:13.900 brought before him and slain. But I suppose that doesn't sound quite as inspiring in a speech.

00:07:18.640 And that's all this unity and healing stuff really is. It's fodder for speeches. And these are speeches

00:07:24.020 given by a man who belongs to the ideological and political club, which has for the past several years

00:07:29.880 insisted that all of their opponents are bigots, racists or worse and not worthy of acceptance and polite

00:07:35.560 society. Anyone who threatens their agenda or defies their wishes can be slandered, smeared, ripped to 0.90

00:07:40.200 shreds, labeled a gang rapist even if that's what it takes. And he will deserve it because he is in fact 0.80

00:07:45.600 worse than a gang rapist. He is in he's an inconvenience to them. In recent months, they've taken this 0.99

00:07:52.820 Machiavellian gospel to the streets, burning and looting, making victims of their fellow Americans, none of whom 0.98

00:07:59.360 did anything in particular to incur their wrath. These are people who will tell you that if you belong to a

00:08:04.760 certain race, white, and sex, male, you are fundamentally and irretrievably broken. You are racist by your very 0.99

00:08:13.280 nature, probably sexist too. And they've told us we can't come together under the flag or as Americans because 0.99

00:08:19.360 America is systemically racist, a global disgrace. Its heroes are all monsters whose monuments must be defiled and 0.98

00:08:26.120 destroyed. But now a man steps out from among this group of marauders and bullies and arsonists and 0.98

00:08:33.560 thieves and smear merchants and bids us to unite. Unite around what? For what? What commonality? What 0.79

00:08:42.580 shared sense of purpose? What universal goal or value is supposed to bind us together right now, Joe?

00:08:48.260 I wouldn't know how to unite with Joe Biden and his ilk, even if I wanted to, which frankly, I don't.

00:08:55.160 Mainly because I know the answer to my own questions. We are meant to unite in submission

00:09:02.340 to the Democrat Party and its doctrines. We are meant to come together around the Democrats and their

00:09:09.440 hollow vessel of a leader to say congratulations and hooray and we agree and about four or five other

00:09:16.340 approved sentiments. This is the unity for which Joe Biden pleads. I have won, so now we can be friends

00:09:24.300 as long as you follow the orders, he says to us with a magnanimous smile. Well, call me ungrateful.

00:09:32.100 But I don't find this pitch very appealing nor believable. I don't like division, but I'll take it

00:09:40.000 over a false and empty unity around a false and empty man. Let's get now to our five headlines.

00:09:48.560 All right, so as you can see, by the way, in the new digs here, the studio, so come up in the world

00:10:00.700 from the car to here. And the great thing is they did a great job putting the studio together.

00:10:06.080 And the other great thing is if you're watching on YouTube or dailywire.com, maybe you can see I have

00:10:12.620 these prop photographs here and they've actually given me, I don't know if you can see it on camera,

00:10:16.980 but they've given me a family. This is not, I don't know who these people are, but I've been assigned

00:10:21.560 a family as well here in Nashville. This is a man and woman on a tandem bike with a picnic basket

00:10:26.660 biking through a field. That's not me. I'm not, I'm not much for tandem bikes, not that, nor am I a

00:10:34.480 picnic guy, but anyway, that's my new Nashville family. So that's great. And excited to be here in

00:10:40.320 Nashville. Let's, let's start here with, with news. That's actually very sad. Number one,

00:10:44.640 Alex Trebek, maybe you heard yesterday has died. He was 80 years old, diagnosed several months ago

00:10:50.020 with cancer. Um, you know, I have to tell you celebrity deaths very rarely affect me on an

00:10:54.540 emotional level, but this one does because Alex Trebek was a legend. He was an icon, just sort of

00:10:58.900 this grandfather-like figure who you see on TV every night. Uh, in a lot of ways, he was kind of like

00:11:05.100 Mr. Rogers, I think a Mr. Rogers for adults. And I, I, I mean that as the utmost compliment

00:11:11.700 because Mr. Rogers was great too. Trebek was, um, similar as, as well in the fact that he was a

00:11:17.180 universally beloved public figure. One of the very last on earth. So now I'm thinking to myself,

00:11:23.480 how many universally beloved people do we have left in America? And I know that Alex Trebek was

00:11:31.100 technically Canadian, right? So, but I'm, I'm claiming him for America for these purposes.

00:11:35.060 We have certainly adopted him into our family. Uh, so with, with him passed away, how, who's left?

00:11:41.540 I'm talking about people who, no matter what side of the political aisle you're on, everybody likes you.

00:11:46.900 Uh, world, you know, universally renowned. Nobody thinks you're problematic because in order to

00:11:54.900 achieve that now, and we may be entering a point in American culture. I'm certain, I'm certain we are at

00:12:00.540 this point where nobody can be that way anymore, but a few people got grandfathered in because they'd,

00:12:07.500 they'd, um, just always been, you know, one of the universally beloved people. Regis Philbin,

00:12:13.220 you know, we, we lost him too. Uh, now, so who's left now that we've lost Alex Trebek, Betty White,

00:12:20.640 I guess is, is, is one Keanu Reeves. He's younger. We'll have him for a while. I'm not sure. Just to show

00:12:27.840 you, just to make the point of, uh, how beloved this man was, Trebek had, and I, I learned this

00:12:33.280 through reading, uh, one of the obituaries for Alex Trebek. I think this was on CNN, of course,

00:12:38.340 of course on CNN, because they had to mention this. Alex Trebek apparently had one public

00:12:43.000 controversy his entire career. This guy was, you know, in, in, in, on, on camera, like every day for

00:12:50.000 40 years or something. And he had one public controversy that they did mention in the CNN

00:12:54.800 obituary because of course they did. And the controversy, I didn't even hear about this when

00:12:58.320 it happened. It happened recently. The controversy is that in the year 2018, he moderated a, a

00:13:04.080 Pennsylvania governor's race debate, gubernatorial debate. And, uh, the controversy was that apparently

00:13:10.600 Trebek was cracking jokes the whole time and quizzing the candidates as if they were on Jeopardy. I watched

00:13:16.900 one of the clips. He was quizzing them about their knowledge of, uh, of Philadelphia Eagles trivia.

00:13:21.460 So, and that was a controversy. Some people were upset about that. That makes me love him even

00:13:25.840 more. That's awesome. He's one public controversy and it's great. I'll have to dig that up and watch

00:13:30.960 that, uh, debate for old time's sake. All right. Number two, Fox news reports, one of Joe Biden's

00:13:36.840 first priorities as president elect will be implementing mask mandates nationwide by working with governors.

00:13:43.160 The future 46th president, uh, allegedly, however, says if they refuse, then he will go to mayors

00:13:49.540 and county executives and get local masking requirements in place. Let me just say this

00:13:55.180 is if they go this route with a, with a national mask mandate, which of course he has no authority

00:14:02.780 whatsoever to do that. What, where does the president derive the authority to tell 330 million people

00:14:09.300 across the country that they have to wear a certain thing on their face? He, he, he does. He derives it

00:14:14.660 from his own imagination, his own increasingly confused and deluded imagination. That's where

00:14:19.840 he gets it. So he has, if, if this is what he tries to do, and I'm sure it will be, he has no

00:14:25.700 authority to do it. And this will be, I'm sure if, if we do have a Joe Biden administration, this will

00:14:32.200 be one of many absurd and illegal orders from that administration that I will be simply ignoring.

00:14:38.560 And that's, that's the right thing to do. When the president tells you, this is what you have

00:14:42.060 to wear on your face. Every time you leave your house, the appropriate response is to laugh in

00:14:46.500 his face and just ignore it. Okay. What do you, what are you, what are you going to do? You're

00:14:51.100 going to send the national guard into every, uh, what, I mean, what you said in the military

00:14:54.580 across the country, making sure people are wearing masks. Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead and enforce

00:15:00.320 that one in, in general. I mean, even if it's not the president telling you to do it, whoever's doing

00:15:07.780 it, if they're telling you to wear a mask when you leave your house, if you're outside, even

00:15:12.900 that's something to just simply totally ignore. Number three, um, this is real. Okay. Not a hint

00:15:21.260 of irony. Washington Post reports, this is the headline for Biden fans, one unifying standard,

00:15:30.780 old glory. Like I was talking about, what are we uniting around? I mean, he's talking about unity.

00:15:34.860 So what is, what's the, what is the unifying standard? Well, the Washington Post says old

00:15:38.480 glory, the American flag. That's, that's, that's the unifying standard. Um, and here's, here's the,

00:15:44.580 what they say. They say, if there was one enduring, listen, I can barely even read this. If there was

00:15:50.340 one enduring symbol of Joe Biden's nationwide election night party Saturday night, it was the

00:15:55.340 American flag in the riverfront district of Wilmington near the parking lot from which Biden

00:16:00.520 delivered a speech to the nation. Flags flew everywhere. There was a big flag,

00:16:04.460 massive old glory hoisted between two cranes invisible from the interstate. It flew for a

00:16:09.780 week as the ballot count agonizingly continued. Um, and, uh, okay, I'm not even going to read this

00:16:15.160 entire thing. The point is in this, in this article, they're claiming that, um, now the Democrats

00:16:22.180 are bringing the American flag back. They're bringing it back as a symbol.

00:16:28.280 Right. The, the, Chris, I don't need to explain why that's completely ridiculous. These are the 0.90

00:16:33.140 people who've been telling us that we should not be saluting or standing for the flag. They've been,

00:16:36.900 they've been protesting the flag for the last four years and longer than that. And now they're telling

00:16:42.460 us that, Oh, actually, no, the American flag is our symbol. That's we're bringing it back.

00:16:47.400 We're going to make it trendy again. And, and here commences the process by the media

00:16:53.040 to pretend that so much of what happened over the last four years didn't happen.

00:17:00.960 We're going to watch so many things getting memory hold. And one of them is the flag stump because

00:17:06.540 now if we have a Democrat president, now you're allowed to respect the flag again. Now we can

00:17:11.800 celebrate. Now we can all stand teary eyed before the flag, stand for the national anthem

00:17:16.180 because there's a Democrat in office. Now it's okay. And it's course, of course, that's how the

00:17:23.480 left sees it because they don't, they don't recognize, um, they don't see any deeper or

00:17:31.040 greater significance to the country other than the government. You know, the government is the

00:17:37.420 ultimate reality. And so that's what the flag stands for. This is what they've never understood.

00:17:44.220 The flag doesn't stand for the government. It's, it, it, it, it stands for the, the deeper things

00:17:51.320 that America is supposed to symbolize. Things like freedom, self-sacrifice, liberty. That's what the

00:17:55.900 flag is really does stand for. They don't see it that way. They think that it's all about the

00:17:59.800 government. And so as long as the government is being controlled by the right people, quote unquote,

00:18:05.280 then we can respect the flag. That's how they see it. Um, number four, this is from, uh,

00:18:14.220 who's this Yahoo news says Jill Biden, Jill Biden, the, uh, the, the supposed first lady to be 0.99

00:18:22.080 a chance to transform the role of first lady. And there have been, there have been many articles 0.76

00:18:28.560 about this in the last couple of days, this on Yahoo news about how Jill Biden is going to, Jill

00:18:32.320 Biden is going to transform the role of the first lady. And it's going to be a whole new thing with 1.00

00:18:36.200 the, I, I, I just, I just wanted to say this, just a, just an idea. Here, here's my idea for

00:18:42.720 the role of the first lady. Um, no role at all. That's, that's the role of the first lady that I

00:18:49.040 would like to see. I would love if we get, if we get to the point where we don't need to give the

00:18:54.180 first lady these, these little projects to do, where we pretend that she plays a significant role

00:19:00.280 in government. Uh, this, whoever it is, the spouse of the president has, has no power, no relevance

00:19:07.940 to the government whatsoever. So if we can get to the point where we stopped doing that with the

00:19:11.520 first lady, I think that would be great. That that's the transformational first lady role. I 0.95

00:19:14.900 would like to see where the first lady just doesn't do anything because she wasn't elected. 1.00

00:19:21.480 Um, okay. Number five, finally from the AP, a miracle has occurred. Um, a miracle and a great

00:19:26.840 coincidence. I'm sure just a coincidence. Uh, it says Pfizer said Monday that an early

00:19:31.480 peak at the data on its coronavirus vaccine suggests, uh, the shots may be a robust 90%

00:19:37.640 effective at preventing COVID-19, putting the company on track to apply later this month for

00:19:42.100 a emergency use approval from the FDA. The announcement less than a week after presidential

00:19:46.560 election that was seen as a referendum on president Donald Trump, um, comes and so on and so forth.

00:19:52.520 Pharmaceutical companies of various countries are in a global race to develop a vaccine,

00:19:55.280 a vaccine against the virus. Dr. Bill Gruber, Pfizer senior vice president of clinical development

00:20:00.760 told the Associated Press, we're in a position potentially to be able to offer some hope.

00:20:05.320 We are very encouraged. Yeah, this is a miracle that, um, Joe Biden announces his victory on Saturday

00:20:14.000 and on Monday, we hear news of a 90% effective vaccine. I mean, you have to have the IQ of, of like a

00:20:25.220 clump of sand to think that this is not a coordinated thing. The idea is it's a, that it's a coincidence

00:20:33.640 that now we're hearing about this vaccine right when the election concludes immediately after Joe

00:20:41.180 Biden gets up and says, I'm the winner. Now we hear about the vaccine. No, I'm sorry. The timing of

00:20:47.240 this is clearly politically, um, it's clearly political, you know, and now the thing is,

00:20:56.860 of course, whoever the president is, I personally am, I don't care who the president, Republican or

00:21:05.600 Democrat. I personally am not going to give the president, any president credit for a vaccine

00:21:09.740 because the president isn't in the, isn't in the lab with a lab coat doing the clinical trials and

00:21:14.960 coming up with the vaccine. Right. Um, so that's, I, I, I wouldn't give a, I wouldn't give a lot of

00:21:19.340 credit to any politicians for that. That goes to the people who actually made the vaccine who are

00:21:23.200 not politicians, but even so, you know, if, if it had been announced, I mean, imagine this, imagine

00:21:29.180 if two days before the election, this announcement had been made, whether you give Trump credit for

00:21:36.820 it or not, it's a, it's positive. It gives you hope. In fact, that's what, that's what, uh, Dr. Bill

00:21:42.560 Gruber says. We're in a position to offer some hope. We can be very encouraged. And if people are

00:21:48.300 hopeful and they're encouraged and they're going to vote on election day, they're more likely to

00:21:53.740 vote for the incumbent. Everybody knows that. But of course the media can't allow that to happen.

00:21:59.480 You don't want people to be encouraged and hopeful. So they wait until a week after the election to make

00:22:04.620 this announcement. It's completely transparent and, uh, also infuriating. All right, we're gonna get to

00:22:11.440 our, um, daily cancellation just a second, but you know, with this election going on and that we've

00:22:17.440 been talking about, it's, it's, uh, we try to keep you in the loop every step of the way. And it's been,

00:22:21.440 it's been a hell of a week for everybody. And it's still too, too soon to tell who, who will win

00:22:26.000 exactly. So you can join daily wire right now, get 25% off with code election. So you can keep up with

00:22:31.840 us and all the unfolding quick twists. Um, but not only that we have big plans for these next four years,

00:22:38.420 regardless of who the president turns out to be, we're in Nashville now, and we've got a lot of

00:22:42.980 things we're going to do. I'm happy to announce that Candace Owens, New York times bestselling

00:22:45.820 author and founder of the, uh, Blexit foundation will be launching a brand new show with us early

00:22:50.980 next year in Nashville. Very excited about that. Candace Owens is great. And, uh, as well, she'll be

00:22:55.220 writing content for us over at dailywire.com. We'll also be launching an entertainment channel and

00:22:59.220 investigative journalism team, building partnerships like, uh, with like-minded content creators

00:23:03.680 like PragerU whose entire show library is available right now on dailywire.com for, uh, members or, or

00:23:09.520 will be by the end of the year, if you become a member again, that's 25% off your daily wire

00:23:13.280 membership with code election. When you sign up today, there's a lot of stuff you can get right

00:23:17.360 now. A lot of really exciting things going to happen in the future. And if 2020 has taught us one

00:23:22.460 thing, it's that anything can happen. So you want to become a member today. Now let's get to our daily

00:23:26.920 cancellation. Well, today we are entering a daily cancellation time warp so that we can go back in time

00:23:33.120 and cancel every leftist who spent the last four years in paralyzing despair and fear and heartache

00:23:39.840 because they didn't like the president. Of course, they've already been canceled automatically many

00:23:44.660 times over on the grounds of being generally lame and annoying. But now, now I especially have to

00:23:49.680 cancel them after potentially, if the media declared results stand, potentially, that means that I and we

00:23:56.380 conservatives are experiencing the shoe on the other foot. If Biden becomes president, then we will have

00:24:00.560 lost and now we will have a president that we don't like. And the left expects that we'll be

00:24:05.720 weeping in the street the same way they were. In fact, I've heard this over and over again the last

00:24:09.580 few days, the taunts of, haha, how do you like this dose of your own medicine, huh? I bet you're crying

00:24:14.620 yourself to sleep at night, screaming into your pillow just like I was, aren't you? I bet your teddy bear

00:24:19.340 is getting soaked in tears too, you loser. Doesn't feel too good, does it? Democratic shill Tory on Twitter 1.00

00:24:26.540 was doing a lot of this. He said, this is, this is what he said. And this is part of the unity and

00:24:30.740 healing we're hearing about. This is what it sounds like from him. He says, if you're a Trumper, I hope 0.90

00:24:34.520 the pain and anxiety you feel now is excruciating. You voted against America and for a cult leader

00:24:40.320 who has no redeeming or admirable qualities. He's a Cretan who cares nothing about this country 0.64

00:24:44.620 and you don't either. You deserve all the pain and more. Very unifying. But see, I don't feel pain 0.99

00:24:52.960 right now at all, really. In fact, I feel fine. When I found out that Biden had been declared by

00:24:58.400 the media to be the winner of the election, I was at the Nashville Zoo. Great zoo, by the way.

00:25:03.960 On a different day, I might have to cancel, though, all big cat exhibits at all zoos because nobody's

00:25:09.960 ever gone to the tiger or jaguar or cheetah exhibit at any zoo and actually seen one. So I'm not sure what

00:25:16.500 the function is. They're always like up over there, way off in the farthest reaches of their

00:25:21.700 enclosure, hiding behind a tree or something. Really tacky way to treat your guests, I think.

00:25:26.880 At least that's what my wife tells me anytime she has a friend over. And I stay upstairs the whole

00:25:31.100 time because I don't like it when strange people are in my territory. I'm very cat-like myself in

00:25:35.380 that respect. Anyway, that isn't the point. The point is, we were, the alert popped up on my wife's

00:25:42.420 phone. We were at the zoo telling us Biden had, quote, one. And she told me about it. And do you know

00:25:48.760 how I responded? This is how I respond. I collapsed to the ground, sobbed uncontrollably. Then I started

00:25:55.800 throwing rocks at the lemurs just to let off some steam. I looted a bunch of plastic animal toys from 1.00

00:26:01.240 the gift shop, burned down the dip and dot stand, you know, normal stuff. No, actually, that's not

00:26:06.040 what happened. In reality, she told me the news. And my first response was, okay, so let's go look at

00:26:12.460 the giraffes. And we did go look at the giraffes. And then we left the zoo. We stopped somewhere for

00:26:17.320 lunch. Later that day, I went to Bass Pro Shops. I did weep there, but it was out of joy. I was

00:26:24.520 overwhelmed by the sheer beauty and majesty of the place. My point here is that I continued living my

00:26:30.780 life. I continued to function in society. I continued to have a great many concerns and priorities that

00:26:37.260 come before politics. And that seems to be how most people on the right have reacted. Yeah, there's

00:26:42.880 anger. Sure. Yeah, we want to investigate any potential irregularities or cases of fraud. And

00:26:49.860 yes, if Biden is our next president, we will fight his agenda tooth and nail. Yes, we take this seriously.

00:26:56.100 Yes, it matters. And we know it. But we're not whining that we're in pain. We're not falling to our

00:27:02.180 knees in the street, screaming at the sky. We're not telling any anecdotes about our allegedly

00:27:07.560 heartbroken toddlers and how they're reacting to the news. We're not claiming to be traumatized.

00:27:13.820 We're not becoming hysterical, most of us, because we're grownups. And we have kids and jobs. I don't

00:27:21.280 really have a job, but a lot of other people do. And we have other responsibilities. And we have neither

00:27:25.560 the interest nor the time to be curled up in the fetal position for the next four years,

00:27:29.780 mumbling that the bad, scary president man hurt us. So if these results do stand as cold,

00:27:37.660 I guess I'm supposed to say that I see where the left is coming from with how they reacted to their

00:27:43.140 loss four years ago. But truthfully, I see even less where they're coming from. I relate to them even

00:27:49.900 less than I did before. I find their behavior even less defensible. And as far as how I feel about the

00:27:57.100 possible Biden administration, I say, bring it. If that's the way the votes go, I'm ready to fight the

00:28:02.360 agenda of Oatmeal Brain and his Marxist handlers. I'm ready to have it out. In the meantime, I've got

00:28:09.420 kids to take care of. I've got chores to do, fish to catch, a life to lead. And so all of those people

00:28:17.540 who put their lives on hold to obsess over Trump are canceled. And that's going to do it for today.

00:28:25.600 Thanks for watching, everybody. Thanks for listening. Godspeed.
