We'll talk about that and much more today on the Matt Wall Show.
00:00:49.340
You know, we all have, of course, memories that we cherish.
00:00:51.480
And those of us who were, especially those of us who were born maybe before our entire
00:00:55.820
life moved to the internet, a lot of those memories are going to be stored on objects, perishable
00:01:02.500
objects, maybe things that are in an attic somewhere in a box, collecting dust, or down
00:01:06.920
in a basement where they could sustain flood damage.

00:02:06.380
Well, as we know, one of the very first men canonized by the high priests of the Church
00:02:10.680
of BLM was Michael Brown, described in media reports as a gentle giant, hailed as a promising
00:02:19.620
Brown died while assaulting a police officer and trying to take his gun.
00:02:22.880
George Floyd, whose death at the hands of police is being adjudicated as we speak, died
00:02:26.840
while resisting arrest and high on lethal doses of fentanyl.
00:02:29.580
His rap sheet included the home invasion, armed robbery of a woman.
00:02:33.680
Floyd held the woman at gunpoint and robbed her.
00:02:35.940
One of the other men in his crew pistol whipped the woman at some point during the robbery.
00:02:40.080
Jacob Blake, another canonized saint for BLM, though he's still alive.
00:02:44.140
A man who received ceremonial visits from Joe Biden and other Democratic dignitaries had,
00:02:49.780
a few months before being shot by police, allegedly broke into a woman's house and raped her in
00:02:54.920
her bedroom before stealing her debit card and her vehicle.
00:02:57.600
This crime was reported on the morning it allegedly happened when the woman called 911,
00:03:04.020
On the day of the shooting, Blake had returned to the home of his alleged victim and was attempting
00:03:09.920
He fought the police when they arrived, pulled a knife, and then wound up getting shot.
00:03:14.780
And then Daunte Wright, the latest martyr that BLM has chosen.
00:03:20.400
As we've covered on this show, many black men die every week in this country.
00:03:27.080
Many people are killed in altercations with police every year.
00:03:30.860
Not nearly as many as you may be led to believe by the media, but still many.
00:03:34.880
And most of them are also ignored by BLM and the media.
00:03:43.020
We know about the circumstances surrounding his death.
00:03:45.080
He was pulled over for a minor traffic violation initially.
00:03:48.260
The police discovered that he had an open warrant.
00:03:52.460
He resisted, pushed them away, climbed back into his vehicle, and was shot by a female
00:03:55.840
officer who says that she meant to use her taser and not her gun.
00:04:01.620
And now an extra piece of the puzzle has been revealed.
00:04:08.620
And I want to read as much of this report as I can because it's all important information.
00:04:15.880
Daunte Wright choked a woman and threatened to shoot her if she did not hand over $820
00:04:20.280
she had stuffed in her bra, court papers obtained by DailyMail.com allege.
00:04:25.500
That is the case that led to a warrant for his arrest at the time that he was shot and
00:04:28.780
killed by police officer Kimberly Potter in Minnesota on Sunday, leading to days of unrest.
00:04:33.600
An online speculation that he didn't know there was a warrant for his arrest is false,
00:04:38.980
A letter returned to the court for having a wrong address was giving notice of a court
00:04:43.360
date in August and had nothing to do with the warrant.
00:04:46.360
Wright was allegedly pulled over for having expired license plate tags, though he called
00:04:49.840
his mother and told her it was for having an air freshener hanging on his rearview mirror.
00:04:53.700
While checking his details, Potter and the other officers learned of the warrant.
00:05:00.660
Okay, then the article goes into greater detail about the crime that led to his warrant being
00:05:07.140
It says, charging papers say that he and a second man, Emma J. Driver, went to a home
00:05:14.420
shared by two women in Oseo, Minnesota, to party, quote unquote, in December 2019.
00:05:24.480
The women asked them to leave around 2.30 a.m. on December 1st, but they said they didn't
00:05:29.640
have a ride and the women, who are not identified in the court documents, allowed them to sleep
00:05:33.700
In the morning, one of the women went to the bank to get her $820 rent money, which she
00:05:39.520
gave to the other woman and then left for work.
00:05:42.540
As Wright, Driver, and the second woman were leaving, Wright allegedly tried to hold up
00:05:48.100
The three of them were walking to the door to exit the apartment, and defendant Wright
00:05:51.560
turned around and blocked the door, preventing the victim from leaving, according to the report
00:05:55.960
written by Oseo Police Officer Shane Mickelson.
00:05:58.580
Defendant Wright then pulled a black handgun with silver trim out from either his right waistband
00:06:03.320
or his right coat pocket and pointed it at the victim and demanded the rent money, continued
00:06:11.740
Defendant Wright replied, give me the effing money.
00:06:15.860
When the woman again asked him if he was serious, Wright is said to have replied, I'm not playing
00:06:23.840
The $820 cash was tucked in the victim's bra and defendant Wright placed his hand around
00:06:30.040
the victim's neck and choked her while trying to pull the cash from under her bra.
00:06:36.600
So now we've got sexual assault that we could also add to the list of what's happening here.
00:06:41.700
The victim was able to get loose from defendant Wright and started to kneel down and scream.
00:06:45.400
After more yelling, Wright allegedly told the woman that he was going to shoot her unless
00:06:50.640
He allegedly said, quote, give me the money and we'll leave.
00:06:55.220
Mickelson added, defendant Wright then tried to choke victim a second time and tried to take
00:06:59.880
Defendant driver was telling her to give defendant Wright the money.
00:07:09.920
He stayed at, he was allowed to stay at this woman's house.
00:07:12.580
And, uh, and then he knew the next day they were going to get rent money to pay their rent.
00:07:21.200
And his decision was to pull a gun and rob them and to choke her in the process.
00:07:26.700
And then also reaching his hand into her bra, which is sexual assault on top of it.
00:07:32.280
Even if he wasn't charged with that, that's what that is.
00:07:34.580
So we've got choking a woman, sexually assaulting her and robbing her at gunpoint to take her
00:07:43.340
Now it goes on to explain that the victim reported the crime to police easily identified
00:07:50.300
And then this quote, Wright's bail was originally, originally set at $100,000 with orders that
00:07:55.620
he should not contact the victim or any witness, refrain from drugs and alcohol and not have
00:08:01.060
A bond, a bond mailsman paid for $40,000 for his release, but his bail was revoked in July
00:08:07.740
last year due to his failure to not possess a firearm or ammunition and not keeping in
00:08:13.300
touch with the probation officer, court paper show.
00:08:15.800
At that time, a judge issued a warrant for his arrest that was still outstanding on the
00:08:20.920
So the warrant for Wright's arrest was not simply because he had a handgun without a
00:08:28.960
It certainly wasn't because of an air freshener, which was the insane lie promulgated on Twitter.
00:08:34.360
It was because he robbed a woman at gunpoint and choked her.
00:08:43.660
Turns out, no, he robbed a woman at gunpoint and choked her.
00:08:48.460
This means that of the three most recent and most prominent BLM martyrs, the three men
00:08:54.340
BLM insists we collectively wail and mourn and honor and celebrate, and whose faces we
00:08:58.720
must paint in murals and names we must remember and repeat, all three of them, all three committed
00:09:05.000
unthinkably brutal and violent attacks against women.
00:09:08.940
All three were tormentors and victimizers of women.
00:09:12.700
These are not men accused of Me Too-style harassment, but of some of the cruelest and most vicious
00:09:20.080
abuse a person can possibly inflict on another person.
00:09:31.200
Specifically for Daunte Wright, does it matter that he allegedly committed this heinous act?
00:09:35.500
Well, that is such a stupid question that I almost don't want to answer it, but I will.
00:09:42.160
And it matters a lot, and for a lot of reasons.
00:09:53.520
We may have all kinds of labels thrown at us for speaking the truth, but the truth remains
00:09:58.720
The truth is that Daunte Wright was wanted by the police for robbing a woman at gunpoint and
00:10:04.460
That is a truth that in several ways contradicts BLM's narrative.
00:10:09.840
It's a truth they don't want us to know or to speak.
00:10:14.160
And that's why it should be known and should be spoken.
00:10:19.200
When you say any truth and people start screaming at you and telling you to shut up, what that
00:10:26.620
There is never a good reason for people to try to shut down what is true or to conceal
00:10:43.800
Second point, as established, a lot of people die every day in this country, often unjustly,
00:10:48.740
usually at the hands of another civilian, but sometimes at the hands of agents of the state.
00:10:53.040
Of all of that death, all of that misery, all of that suffering, all of that loss, these
00:10:59.800
men in particular, these men especially are chosen by the cultural powers that be, and
00:11:05.200
we are told that we should honor and mourn them more than we honor and mourn the average
00:11:16.060
They are the ones who get the politicians weeping beside their golden caskets.
00:11:20.300
They are the ones with the murals and the streets named after them.
00:11:24.720
Our reaction to their deaths goes way beyond, way, way beyond simply calling for accountability.
00:11:34.340
If that's all that was happening, then the personal brutality and evil committed by these
00:11:41.420
But that's not all that's happening, not even close.
00:11:45.600
They receive treatment that is very close to worship.
00:11:48.920
Sometimes in Floyd's case, not close to worship, but actual, literal worship.
00:11:55.520
And because of that, it becomes all the more necessary to speak the truth about who these
00:12:01.260
people were, what they did, the harm they caused, and to ask whether they, of all people,
00:12:09.720
should be the ones with halos placed around their heads.
00:12:17.080
Finally, this crime by Daunte Wright, his armed robbery of a woman, is what led directly to
00:12:31.680
If Daunte Wright had not robbed a woman at gunpoint, he would be alive today.
00:12:41.660
And here is the most forbidden truth of all, the thing that we simply are not allowed to
00:12:47.240
And the truth is this, going all the way back to Michael Brown and back up again to Daunte
00:12:52.480
Wright, so often the BLM martyrs are violent men, bad men, who had little regard for human
00:13:01.160
life and who ultimately met the fate that so often befalls men of that sort.
00:13:12.960
Okay, the point is simply that when you live that kind of lifestyle, you probably will die
00:13:21.760
sooner than later, if not at the hands of police than at the hands of another criminal
00:13:27.120
Okay, if you're the kind of person who would even conceive of pulling a gun out and robbing
00:13:35.820
a woman at gunpoint while she's trying to get her rent money, then you are the kind of
00:13:41.240
person who will very likely die before you get old and gray.
00:13:47.940
If we don't want people like Daunte Wright to die, then we should tell them not to live
00:13:55.080
In the words of the gospel, live by the sword, die by the sword.
00:14:18.140
Yeah, I consider myself to be something of a sofa connoisseur.
00:14:23.640
My wife knows this, has been a source of frustration for her.
00:14:27.240
I can't, you know, I just, I need what, I'm like the princess in the pea or something when
00:14:35.880
If you've been listening to this show for a while, you've probably heard me talk about
00:14:38.360
my Helix mattress, which solved all of my sleeping problems.
00:14:42.460
But then you have the problem of what about the rest of the day when you're sitting on
00:14:45.100

00:14:47.380

00:15:41.260
So the mayor of Brooklyn Center has a brilliant idea about police reform.
00:15:46.460
A lot of brilliant ideas about police reform are going around, especially on the left right
00:15:50.560
now, before we get to the mayor, actually Rashida Tlaib, one member of the squad, said a couple
00:15:57.920
days ago, announced that we should abolish police and abolish incarceration.
00:16:04.360
So it's not an exaggeration to say that she wants to free every prisoner in jail right now,
00:16:14.840
So the child molesters and child rapists, uh, they get to get out of jail.
00:16:20.100
That's what Rashida Tlaib wants to free every child rapist from prison.
00:16:27.660
Um, now, I mean, it is, it is sort of interesting in her case that she says she wants to abolish
00:16:40.300
Uh, speaking out against the incarceration of the protesters on January 6th at Capitol Hill?
00:16:50.140
Because they're being hunted down and thrown in prison, sometimes getting lengthy prison
00:16:56.020
sentences, uh, or, or, you know, charges that carry lengthy prison sentences put on their
00:17:00.880
head and has Rashida Tlaib, she wants to abolish incarceration.
00:17:07.180
Because of course, when she says abolish incarceration, we know that, that she means that in a very
00:17:15.000
selective way, but she wants to abolish incarceration for certain people.
00:17:22.520
It's not even just, it's not that she wants to abolish incarceration for certain crimes.
00:17:28.380
No, it's for certain people shouldn't go to jail, no matter what they do.
00:17:35.660
The mayor of, uh, Brooklyn Center has a view that is nearly as crazy, and let's listen to
00:17:42.200
Uh, and, uh, make sure that, you know, we sit down and, and, and go through it and, and
00:17:49.260
I don't believe that officers need to necessarily, uh, have weapons, uh, you know, uh, every time
00:17:59.720
they, they're, they're making a traffic stop, uh, or, or engaged in, uh, situations that don't
00:18:12.160
We know that there are other, many other jurisdictions, or even around the world where,
00:18:16.940
uh, that is not, you know, necessarily the case.
00:18:23.100
You know, I don't believe that construction workers necessarily need hard hats.
00:18:34.460
What do you guys, I mean, you're on a construction site.
00:18:37.100
How often does something fall on your head, right?
00:18:43.860
I mean, I'm not on the construction site and I need the people on the construction site
00:18:48.200
to build stuff so that I can, you know, uh, take advantage of the things they build.
00:18:52.500
But I'm going to sit off on my couch and, uh, drink a beer and start, start giving my opinion
00:18:59.260
about the safety measures taken by construction workers.
00:19:09.620
Now he's, he's standing off on the sideline and saying, oh, they don't need guns.
00:19:15.740
Yeah, a trap, any, any cop knows that a traffic stop can turn fatal for the officer in a split
00:19:26.040
And what this, this happens a lot, you know, you can go online and find video.
00:19:33.560
You're not going to find a lot of news articles about this kind of thing.
00:19:36.720
But if you, if you go and look, you can find, and you want to see it, you can find video,
00:19:43.020
Officers in a normal traffic stop, you know, enforcing a traffic regulation.
00:19:52.300
Now the mayor of Brooklyn center, his view is that if a, if you start, if a cop is getting
00:19:59.500
shot at during traffic stop, well, you just have to die.
00:20:03.540
I mean, I guess you could surrender, go down to your knees, put your hands up, apologize.
00:20:08.600
You can try to make a run back to your car and hide, but you know, maybe a little
00:20:23.480
The lives of police officers mean nothing to them.
00:20:27.760
In fact, in many cases, they're happy when, when cops die, which is why, you know, you
00:20:33.060
remember I said a couple months ago with officer Brian Sicknick at the Capitol, who, by the
00:20:37.560
way, we still have not been told what exactly, you know, how officer Sicknick died.
00:20:42.780
We were told by the media immediately that he was killed by a protester at the Capitol,
00:20:47.220
but somehow, even though he was murdered and the media knew that right away, nobody's been
00:20:53.680
We do know that, that the other deaths, remember we were told, now I'm getting sidetracked a
00:21:00.560
little bit, we were told by the media that the riot on Capitol Hill was a deadly riot
00:21:08.480
Well, the medical examiner in DC last week finally came out and admitted that three of
00:21:19.140
In fact, well, two were, you know, heart conditions, medical emergency, people with
00:21:31.600
Then another person, Ashley Babbitt was a homicide victim.
00:21:36.040
And then we have Brian Sicknick, we're not being told anything about him.
00:21:39.260
The only confirmed homicide in the quote, deadly riot was the homicide that a, that a
00:21:52.540
But in any case, Brian Sicknick, you know, um, however he died, it's a terrible, tragic thing.
00:21:57.780
And the Democrats and the media are mourning officer Sicknick calling for flags to be at
00:22:07.380
hats, half staff, talking about the great service that he provided for the community, talking
00:22:11.660
about how they feel for his family and his wife and his children.
00:22:15.000
Uh, and of course, yes, that it is a terrible tragedy and the flag should be flown and half
00:22:24.660
The difference is though, that the Democrats saying that they don't really mean it.
00:22:29.380
And I didn't believe then for a second that they actually cared about Brian Sicknick's
00:22:33.480
death because he's the only cop that these Democrats, I was running through a number of
00:22:45.200
He's the only cop that they pretended to care about.
00:22:54.300
Can you think of any other police officer that the majority of Democrats, you know, were
00:23:00.720
publicly mourning out of all the police officers who have died?
00:23:04.100
So on, um, on the rare occasion when mourning a police officer's death is politically expedient
00:23:13.500
and convenient for the Democrats, that's when they pretend to care.
00:23:16.080
But in every other case, they couldn't give a less of a damn.
00:23:25.660
Speaking of, uh, of not caring if police officers die or if people die in general, Chelsea Handler
00:23:31.280
tweeted this, she says, why would any person of color ever comply with a police officer
00:23:37.440
when there's a 50, 50 shot of getting accidentally shot, accidentally in quotes, quotes, 50, 50.
00:23:45.080
And this tweet, a bunch of retweets, people liking it, commenting, oh, this is real.
00:23:52.120
This is a Chelsea Handler trying to get people killed, specifically trying to get young black
00:24:02.840
You might as well not comply because there's a 50, 50 chance that you're 50, 50.
00:24:13.460
Well, she's pulling it from her fevered imagination.
00:24:20.900
I mean, even if I were to put aside the insane 50% statistic that she's made up.
00:24:26.400
She's claiming that you're likely to get shot if you comply.
00:24:36.200
In almost every case of a person, doesn't matter what their race is, getting shot by
00:24:47.380
Dante Wright was getting arrested and was not in any physical danger whatsoever.
00:25:01.820
It's when he started resisting arrest, that is how he ended up getting shot.
00:25:07.820
So you might as well not comply because you're going to get shot anyway.
00:25:12.800
I mean, from the last 10 years, how many cases can you provide?
00:25:17.940
How many examples can you provide of somebody who was not resisting arrest and was complying
00:25:23.960
and yet got shot and killed by the cops anyway?
00:25:31.540
And in nearly all of those small, that small, small sliver, that small, small, small minority
00:25:36.500
of cases, in almost all of them, the police officer involved goes to jail.
00:25:42.180
I mean, there was the Dallas police officer, the Botham Jean in, I think it was in Dallas.
00:25:47.540
He was in his own apartment when an off-duty police officer walked in and shot him.
00:25:52.080
She thought it was her own apartment, she says.
00:26:02.960
In nearly every case, when someone gets shot by the cops, it's because they're not complying.
00:26:13.460
Chelsea Handler, she may be a total moron, but she knows that.
00:26:17.160
She also knows that 50-50 is something that she made up.
00:26:20.240
But she doesn't, you know, it works for her ideologically when young black men get killed
00:26:26.000
by the police, so she's fine with it continuing to happen.
00:26:33.040
BLM activist Kim Brown, I wanted to play this clip for you as well.
00:26:36.940
She's on a, I think this is her own show, which, yeah, okay, this is called Burn It.
00:26:40.860
The name of her podcast or show or YouTube show, whatever it is, is called Burn It Down.
00:26:44.940
So you kind of get an idea of where she's coming from.
00:26:48.860
Making an eloquent case in favor of rioting and looting.
00:26:58.420
I support the looting of, what other s**t did they loot?
00:27:10.980
Because black people and marginalized and oppressed people could loot every store in this whole
00:27:19.820
It would not even come close to the debt that America owes us.
00:27:27.040
So that is full-throated defense of rioting and looting.
00:27:37.580
It's not just that they're doing it, but they support it in principle and will explicitly defend it.
00:27:50.120
And yet we're still told that the BLM movement is mostly peaceful.
00:27:56.260
The fact that they're both looting and rioting and defending it and encouraging it and saying do it more.
00:28:07.580
Of course, what she said there is wrong on so many levels and we could spend all day dissecting it and tearing it apart.
00:28:17.060
But let's start with one really basic thing here.
00:28:21.200
That she claims that she is owed a debt from America.
00:28:27.980
America doesn't owe you anything, whatever your race is.
00:28:48.880
But if you live like that with that kind of mentality, then this is what you end up with.
00:28:53.040
And if enough people live like that with that mentality, you end up with rioting and looting.
00:28:59.880
But even if America did, in some mysterious way, collectively owe you a debt,
00:29:09.040
why are you taking it out on the Dollar Tree or AutoZone?
00:29:16.960
The people who work there, many of them minorities.
00:29:22.060
So you're taking this debt that you think really white America owes you,
00:29:32.420
The Dollar Tree in Minneapolis, that's not white America that you're tearing down.
00:29:39.820
It is your own community that you're victimizing.
00:29:55.120
So even on your own logic, it doesn't make any sense.
00:30:01.860
So at the end of the day, it's simply destruction for destruction's case.
00:30:06.220
And for looters, the motivation for most looters of all stripes is simply,
00:30:17.140
It doesn't get much deeper than that, I think, for the average looter.
00:30:25.320
As female athletes around the country fight to keep biological men from competing with them,
00:30:30.440
the National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA, has announced its unequivocal support for transgender student athletes.
00:30:36.580
In a statement released on Monday, the NCAA said it unequivocally supports the transgender community
00:30:41.220
and expressed no misgivings about the real prospect of biological men out-competing women in their given sport.
00:30:49.780
The NCAA Board of Governors firmly and unequivocally supports the opportunity for transgender student athletes to compete in college sports.
00:30:56.660
This commitment is grounded in our values of inclusion and fair competition.
00:31:02.760
Fair, this is their values of fair competition.
00:31:05.960
The fact that they value fair competition is why they're okay with biological men competing against women.
00:31:14.200
The NCAA has a long-standing policy that provides a more inclusive path for transgender participation in college sports.
00:31:21.520
Our approach, which requires testosterone suppression treatment for transgender women to compete in women's sports,
00:31:26.480
embraces the evolving science on this issue and is anchored in participation policies of both the International Olympic Committee
00:31:34.400
Inclusion and fairness can coexist for all student athletes, including transgender athletes, at all levels of sports.
00:31:43.700
All of it just doesn't go incoherent as what I just read to you.
00:31:55.900
oh, we have to make sure that transgender people can compete in sports.
00:32:01.460
there was never a point where they couldn't compete.
00:32:15.440
certainly anyone in any position of power or authority,
00:32:18.480
stand up and say that transgender people should not be allowed to compete in sports, period.
00:32:28.760
everyone can compete against their own biological sex.
00:32:47.580
When you start putting men against women in women's sports,
00:32:53.160
that is not you embracing equality, fairness, and inclusion,
00:32:57.540
but that is you getting rid of equality, fairness, and inclusion.
00:33:11.900
says an older male colleague once told her that she looked like a Bond girl
00:33:18.820
recalled the encounter in a New York Times article published Monday
00:33:21.520
that detailed Albany's toxic environment for women.
00:33:25.780
it seemed odd for my male colleague to say that.
00:33:32.660
said the Republican Senator randomly made the comment
00:33:52.080
And she said she was so embarrassed that she left.
00:34:08.260
I don't even know what Julia Salazar looks like.
00:34:22.620
that you would even remember it two years later
00:34:43.760
I don't know if I've ever received a compliment
