00:00:00.000 Today on The Matt Walsh Show, we will follow the saga of OnlyFans.

00:00:03.920 First, it announced that it was getting rid of pornographic content,

00:00:06.300 but after a huge backlash from the public, the company has backtracked.

00:00:10.100 What does this whole drama tell us about our culture?

00:00:11.700 We'll talk about that today.

00:00:12.700 Also, the rapper Busta Rhymes delivers one of the best anti-mask speeches we've seen yet.

00:00:18.220 And he did this at a concert.

00:00:19.460 We'll play that. I think it's pretty great.

00:00:20.680 And the Republican governor of South Dakota says that she will not prevent employers

00:00:25.060 from imposing vaccine mandates.

00:00:26.580 And also, Planned Parenthood gets into the trans-hormone therapy replacement game.

00:00:31.560 Plus, in our daily cancellation, we will ask the very important question,

00:00:35.120 is air conditioning racist?

00:00:37.140 The answer might surprise you.

00:00:38.960 All of that and more today on The Matt Walsh Show.

00:00:48.800 About a week ago, OnlyFans announced that it was banning sexually explicit content.

00:00:54.040 Now, when I first heard that, I was relieved but also confused

00:00:57.320 because I didn't realize that my local ceiling fan store sold porn in the first place.

00:01:03.620 And I apologized profusely for that joke.

00:01:05.820 I'd just been waiting for a week to use it

00:01:07.460 and decided to finally put it at the very beginning of the show

00:01:09.500 as a means of introducing what is actually a pretty serious conversation.

00:01:12.340 It's not my fault, though.

00:01:13.080 When the pun is there, I have to take it.

00:01:15.020 That's my solemn obligation as a dad.

00:01:17.020 Anyway, back to OnlyFans.

00:01:18.920 The real OnlyFans, the site which officially bills itself as a platform

00:01:22.180 for content creators to interact with their fans,

00:01:25.600 but which actually has always been a direct-to-consumer porn site 0.97

00:01:29.220 where the average woman can whore herself out to paid subscribers. 0.99

00:01:33.620 Last week, when you heard those wails of anguish emanating 1.00

00:01:37.440 from our nation's ever-growing community of prostitutes and sex-starved losers, 1.00

00:01:42.620 that was the moment when OnlyFans announced 0.99

00:01:45.880 that it would be banning pornographic material from its platform.

00:01:48.980 Now, the move came as a surprise to almost everyone, myself included,

00:01:51.900 because OnlyFans banning porn is like Texas Roadhouse going vegan. 0.99

00:01:56.060 You know, it's just not what you'd expect.

00:01:57.400 They're abandoning their core business model.

00:02:00.240 The difference, of course, is that Texas Roadhouse's core business is good

00:02:03.340 and delicious, while OnlyFans is bad.

00:02:06.760 The CEO of OnlyFans later clarified that he was forced to make the change

00:02:10.560 because various banks, he said, were refusing to work with him,

00:02:14.220 worried that their, you know, reputation was at risk

00:02:17.680 if they were partnering with a smut peddler like himself.

00:02:20.920 And this was all a surprise, but it was an objectively positive development.

00:02:26.620 A good surprise.

00:02:28.200 Most people, though, didn't see it as positive, however. 1.00

00:02:31.380 As mentioned, those prostitutes and sex-starved losers were not happy. 0.99

00:02:35.760 The latter group cried out in protest, distraught, 0.99

00:02:38.720 that instead of being able to access pornography on 7 billion different websites,

00:02:42.980 now they could only access it on 6,999,999,999 websites.

00:02:49.980 I mean, whatever will they do?

00:02:51.680 We've seen time and time again,

00:02:54.320 porn fans cannot handle even the slightest obstruction,

00:02:58.920 the mildest impediment,

00:03:00.880 the smallest hurdle being placed in their path

00:03:03.380 as they pursue their cherished hobby of watching strangers have sex on the internet.

00:03:07.580 They can't handle it.

00:03:08.600 If you so much as suggest that Pornhub should have a little box you have to check

00:03:15.140 to at least confirm that you're over the age of 18,

00:03:18.420 most porn fans will say,

00:03:20.060 no, no, no, that's an infringement on my rights.

00:03:22.060 Don't make me check a box first.

00:03:23.640 But the loudest voices speaking out against the policy change 0.79

00:03:29.040 were the legions of prostitutes who depend on only fans 1.00

00:03:32.720 to facilitate their self-debasement and self-objectification in exchange for money. 0.95

00:03:38.020 Where else would they go if they wanted to charge strangers 15 bucks a pop 0.98

00:03:42.000 to stare at their genitals? 1.00

00:03:43.500 Well, it seems they could go almost anywhere, 0.99

00:03:45.980 including down to the street corner,

00:03:47.760 given that this is, again, simply prostitution.

00:03:50.540 But they preferred OnlyFans. 0.83

00:03:53.000 And out of all the websites where strangers might stare at their genitals,

00:03:56.580 OnlyFans was the classiest and most prestigious.

00:04:00.320 Over the following week, therefore,

00:04:02.080 the media published many tearful profiles of hardworking, decent, middle-aged women

00:04:07.740 who, tragedy of tragedies, may now be forced to get real jobs.

00:04:12.480 Truly unthinkable.

00:04:13.940 Here's one such report, I think a representative sample from People.com.

00:04:17.740 It said, this is from a couple days ago, it said,

00:04:20.420 OnlyFans creators are continuing to grapple with their uncertain future

00:04:24.260 in the days following the platform's controversial decision

00:04:26.880 to ban sexually explicit conduct.

00:04:29.540 I'll just pause there for a minute and say,

00:04:31.600 it's controversial to not sell,

00:04:34.760 to not have sexually explicit content is controversial.

00:04:38.680 Anyway, it says,

00:04:41.480 Model and life coach Courtney Tillia tells People she is one of the creators

00:04:45.900 who was blindsided by the new ban,

00:04:48.160 which is expected to go into effect in October.

00:04:50.580 A 34-year-old mother of four, Tillia says she taught special education for six years

00:04:54.920 before her battle with depression led her to transition into a modeling and fitness career.

00:05:00.160 Two and a half years ago, she launched her OnlyFans page

00:05:02.360 and says that she now earns a six-figure salary.

00:05:04.440 It was shocking, Tillia says of the ban announcement,

00:05:07.700 which she found to be very sudden and vague.

00:05:10.560 She adds,

00:05:11.320 It also feels, leaves us feeling not so great

00:05:13.940 because we were the ones who built that platform

00:05:16.300 and made it into what it is today.

00:05:18.360 We made it a brand that people know

00:05:20.400 and to go back on the people who built it,

00:05:22.700 it's pretty awful, she continues.

00:05:25.680 Yes, Courtney was depressed. 0.92

00:05:27.960 And we all know the best cure for depression

00:05:29.780 is to turn yourself into an object for creepy men to consume. 0.99

00:05:34.200 That's why porn stars and prostitutes have such famously 1.00

00:05:36.880 low rates of substance abuse, depression, and suicide. 0.65

00:05:40.260 A real mentally and emotionally stable bunch, as we all know.

00:05:44.280 Courtney continues,

00:05:45.160 I fell in love with it.

00:05:47.480 I fell in love with being liberated

00:05:49.280 and being able to share myself in different ways.

00:05:52.620 Different ways.

00:05:53.820 I started this for my own expression.

00:05:56.140 I had no idea there was so much money to be made in it as there is.

00:05:59.860 Tilia, who first spoke to TMZ,

00:06:01.640 notes that the money she's made from the platform

00:06:03.460 has allowed her to buy a house,

00:06:04.960 provide for her children,

00:06:06.100 and travel extensively.

00:06:08.420 Truly, you know,

00:06:09.460 I can think of no plight as tragic

00:06:11.560 as that of a 34-year-old life coach named Courtney

00:06:14.440 who wants to be able to get naked for strangers

00:06:16.360 so that she can take nicer vacations.

00:06:19.900 And OnlyFans had just taken that away from her.

00:06:23.580 I mean, forget about the Americans trapped in Afghanistan.

00:06:25.820 Courtney is the one who really deserves our sympathy.

00:06:28.600 Just a terrible story.

00:06:31.000 Poor Courtney. 0.99

00:06:32.180 But the middle-aged Courtney's of the world 0.96

00:06:34.500 are now rejoicing

00:06:35.520 because today the news broke

00:06:37.980 that OnlyFans has changed its mind.

00:06:41.540 Variety has the news,

00:06:42.580 which came out this morning.

00:06:43.800 They say OnlyFans dropped plans

00:06:45.960 to ban pornography from its service

00:06:47.520 less than a week after

00:06:48.660 the UK content creator subscription site

00:06:50.340 had announced the change,

00:06:51.540 citing the need to comply with policies

00:06:53.000 of banking partners.

00:06:53.940 On Wednesday, the company said

00:06:54.820 it secured assurances necessary

00:06:57.080 to support our diverse creator community,

00:06:59.580 suggesting that it has new agreements

00:07:00.840 with banks to pay OnlyFans content creators,

00:07:02.860 including those who share

00:07:03.960 sexually explicit material.

00:07:06.120 Quote,

00:07:06.360 Thank you to everyone

00:07:07.100 for making your voices heard.

00:07:08.560 We have secured assurances necessary

00:07:10.220 to support our diverse creator community

00:07:12.760 and have suspended

00:07:13.880 the planned October 1st policy change.

00:07:16.620 OnlyFans stands for inclusion,

00:07:18.580 and we will continue to provide a home

00:07:20.200 for all creators.

00:07:21.020 Well, all creators

00:07:24.100 except those with self-respect

00:07:26.160 or an ounce of dignity.

00:07:27.420 They will continue to be excluded

00:07:29.040 from the OnlyFans community,

00:07:30.640 which is no loss to them, I suppose.

00:07:33.640 Now, after all of this drama,

00:07:36.180 we're back where we started.

00:07:38.080 In our society today,

00:07:39.860 even just the very small positive step

00:07:43.680 of one porn site being pressured

00:07:46.660 to stop selling smut

00:07:48.660 proved to be too large a leap.

00:07:51.760 Just one site. 0.98

00:07:53.940 It's all quite pathetic 0.98

00:07:55.120 and a little depressing, 0.97

00:07:56.120 but I think there are a few

00:07:57.320 worthwhile points to make

00:07:58.980 in relation to all of this.

00:08:01.080 And I'll focus on just two of them.

00:08:04.100 The first one is that we see how,

00:08:07.040 thanks to OnlyFans

00:08:08.000 and the porn industry more broadly,

00:08:10.940 prostitution has been normalized.

00:08:13.440 The left wants us, 0.98

00:08:14.920 has always wanted us,

00:08:15.780 to view sex work as real work,

00:08:17.620 and prominent people,

00:08:18.580 including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

00:08:20.020 and other Democrats,

00:08:21.580 have chanted this slogan,

00:08:22.900 sex work is real work. 0.95

00:08:24.880 All of the heartfelt accounts

00:08:26.580 we've seen in the media,

00:08:27.940 especially in the past week,

00:08:29.200 about well-off middle-aged mothers

00:08:30.820 who sell their bodies to strangers

00:08:32.400 only demonstrates how normalized

00:08:33.860 this has all become.

00:08:35.340 Our culture has certainly bought into the notion

00:08:37.520 that sex work is real work.

00:08:40.000 But no matter how many people buy into it,

00:08:42.620 it will remain as untrue

00:08:44.820 as it has always been.

00:08:47.280 Real work involves utilizing a skill

00:08:50.860 or performing a service.

00:08:53.240 Now, if this is being done

00:08:54.580 as a job or a career,

00:08:56.000 then the skill or service is sold

00:08:57.580 in exchange for monetary compensation.

00:09:00.720 But there is no skill

00:09:02.260 or talent or art involved

00:09:04.300 in taking your clothes off on camera 0.98

00:09:06.100 and showing people your genitals. 0.92

00:09:09.000 In that case, 0.97

00:09:11.220 the thing being sold

00:09:12.560 is not a skill.

00:09:15.300 You know, if you're a construction worker,

00:09:17.660 you're using your body,

00:09:19.440 yes, in the performance of your job,

00:09:22.020 but what you're selling

00:09:23.300 is your skill

00:09:24.500 at being a construction worker,

00:09:27.240 at building things.

00:09:29.220 In the case of someone doing porn

00:09:31.120 or prostitution, 1.00

00:09:32.040 the thing being sold is your body.

00:09:34.880 You're not using your body

00:09:36.560 to perform a skill

00:09:37.740 because there is no skill,

00:09:39.600 but rather simply,

00:09:40.320 you're selling your body itself.

00:09:42.440 Your body becomes the product.

00:09:44.920 You make yourself,

00:09:46.000 literally yourself,

00:09:47.660 into an object to be consumed.

00:09:49.760 You degrade yourself

00:09:50.680 for the pleasure

00:09:51.240 of faceless strangers.

00:09:52.680 This is not work.

00:09:53.480 It is humiliation.

00:09:55.320 That you are a partner

00:09:56.540 in your own humiliation

00:09:57.540 doesn't change it

00:09:58.540 and certainly doesn't make it

00:09:59.920 valid or noble.

00:10:02.040 One other point,

00:10:03.860 going back to the consumers.

00:10:05.140 I called them 1.00

00:10:07.200 sex-starved losers before 1.00

00:10:08.720 and the starved part 0.99

00:10:10.760 is an important qualifier

00:10:12.080 because people who watch porn all day

00:10:14.520 are not sex-crazed

00:10:16.820 or sex-obsessed

00:10:18.380 as they are often accused.

00:10:20.420 No, they are sexless, 0.97

00:10:22.920 deprived, starved.

00:10:25.500 Many studies have shown

00:10:26.540 how people in our culture today

00:10:27.620 are having fewer

00:10:28.700 romantic relationships,

00:10:30.340 fewer people are getting married,

00:10:31.740 young people are even having 1.00

00:10:32.660 less premarital sex,

00:10:33.780 and that latter point

00:10:34.960 may seem in some ways

00:10:35.980 like a positive development

00:10:37.120 except that they aren't rejecting sex

00:10:39.520 in the name of chastity.

00:10:41.440 They've instead just replaced it

00:10:43.380 with the internet.

00:10:45.300 They have replaced human contact,

00:10:47.680 human relationship

00:10:48.480 with voyeurism.

00:10:51.300 And I'm here to tell

00:10:52.480 any young men

00:10:53.200 who have made this trade

00:10:54.560 or young women for that matter

00:10:55.820 and plenty have as well

00:10:56.680 that it is not a good deal.

00:10:59.960 You're getting robbed.

00:11:01.140 You're robbing yourself.

00:11:03.940 Now, you may feel

00:11:05.020 that you're satisfying

00:11:05.860 your romantic impulses.

00:11:07.160 You may feel

00:11:07.800 that you're fulfilling

00:11:08.900 the human need for eros,

00:11:10.900 which is erotic, romantic love,

00:11:12.520 by sitting on your computer

00:11:14.100 and watching other people

00:11:15.100 have sexual encounters.

00:11:16.760 But you're not satisfying

00:11:17.940 or fulfilling anything,

00:11:18.880 which is why you're depressed

00:11:21.680 and in despair

00:11:22.540 and lonely and unhappy

00:11:23.660 and addicted to this thing

00:11:24.820 that in reality you hate.

00:11:27.080 That's why you're so defensive

00:11:28.160 about it.

00:11:28.640 See, if you tried

00:11:30.500 to come to me

00:11:31.260 and mock me

00:11:32.960 for being married,

00:11:34.280 I would just laugh at you.

00:11:36.660 I mean, I'm fully confident

00:11:37.700 in my decision

00:11:38.380 to choose a living,

00:11:39.560 breathing, flesh-and-blood woman

00:11:40.920 over a computer image.

00:11:42.320 I don't need to defend it.

00:11:44.940 But when I criticize porn,

00:11:47.440 you become extremely angry, 0.90

00:11:49.640 the way that a heroin addict

00:11:51.480 might get angry

00:11:52.340 if you stage an intervention.

00:11:54.960 So, what does that tell you?

00:11:57.720 Well, it tells you

00:11:58.560 what you already know,

00:11:59.260 which is that this stuff

00:12:00.060 is poison 0.91

00:12:00.580 and it's making you miserable. 1.00

00:12:03.720 Our culture tells you

00:12:05.140 that it's healthy

00:12:05.840 and it's good

00:12:06.460 and it's normal.

00:12:08.920 But that's a lie.

00:12:11.020 Another lie.

00:12:12.800 One of many.

00:12:14.820 Now let's get to

00:12:15.520 our five headlines.

00:12:16.140 Let's talk now

00:12:23.180 about Bambi.

00:12:24.560 You know,

00:12:25.480 I know as well as anyone

00:12:27.100 that HR issues

00:12:28.720 can destroy your company.

00:12:30.720 Well, I don't really know that

00:12:31.640 from experience at all,

00:12:32.580 but I know it

00:12:32.940 because it's on the sheet

00:12:33.560 that I'm reading right now.

00:12:34.640 And it seems correct

00:12:35.420 because you've got

00:12:35.880 wrongful termination suits,

00:12:37.220 minimum wage requirements,

00:12:38.220 labor regulations,

00:12:38.920 all of that.

00:12:39.800 Also, HR manager salaries

00:12:41.080 aren't cheap.

00:12:41.580 An average of $70,000 a year

00:12:43.140 you're going to be spending.

00:12:44.540 That's why you need Bambi. 1.00

00:12:45.460 Spelled B-A-M-B-E-E.

00:12:47.160 It was created specifically

00:12:48.360 for small businesses.

00:12:49.440 You can get a dedicated

00:12:50.240 HR manager.

00:12:51.100 You can craft HR policy

00:12:52.180 and maintain your compliance

00:12:52.940 all for just $99 a month.

00:12:54.660 That's going to be a lot cheaper

00:12:55.340 than the $70,000 a year.

00:12:57.100 Do the math on that

00:12:57.880 because I can't.

00:12:58.880 With Bambi,

00:12:59.340 you can change HR

00:13:00.080 from your biggest liability

00:13:01.000 to your biggest strength.

00:13:02.720 Your dedicated HR manager

00:13:03.760 is available by phone,

00:13:04.780 email, or real-time chat

00:13:05.800 from onboarding to terminations.

00:13:07.520 They customize your policies

00:13:08.720 to fit your business

00:13:09.680 and they help to manage

00:13:11.140 your employees

00:13:11.640 on a day-to-day basis

00:13:12.480 all for just $99.

00:13:13.680 So go now

00:13:16.900 right now

00:13:19.540 That's Bambi.com slash Walsh

00:13:21.060 spelled B-A-M-B-E-E.com slash Walsh.

00:13:25.080 You know, we discussed yesterday

00:13:29.760 the very troubling trend

00:13:31.200 called the milk crate challenge

00:13:33.860 where people stack together milk crates

00:13:36.520 to make kind of a pyramid

00:13:38.260 and then try to walk up and over it.

00:13:41.020 And usually they fall and land

00:13:42.420 in horrifying sort of pretzel-like shapes.

00:13:44.780 And doctors are warning about this trend.

00:13:46.760 The media is very concerned.

00:13:48.200 And it's very bad.

00:13:48.920 It's terrible.

00:13:50.260 Um, we played a few of the videos yesterday,

00:13:52.560 but, um, I had one other,

00:13:54.360 maybe we should just play a couple more

00:13:55.880 before we get into the news.

00:13:56.940 Because again, really, this is about education.

00:14:00.840 It's also, I really want to emphasize

00:14:01.900 how terrible all this is.

00:14:04.380 And, um, I want you to understand

00:14:06.760 what's going on out there in the world.

00:14:09.300 And if you see milk crates stacked up somewhere,

00:14:12.240 uh, I want you to know what all that means.

00:14:14.300 So let's play just one more of these

00:14:16.360 just to see, uh, really.

00:14:19.780 So this is what the milk crate challenge is.

00:14:21.300 I want you to watch this.

00:14:22.320 And it's very, oh, right on his head.

00:14:26.140 You break your neck doing that.

00:14:28.980 And I don't know if you didn't get

00:14:30.040 a good look at that.

00:14:30.600 We'll just put, we'll put one up,

00:14:31.600 one more up here because that happened 0.97

00:14:33.400 kind of fast.

00:14:33.980 We'll play one more, but

00:14:34.820 this guy, he's like, oh, well that,

00:14:39.300 now that is not,

00:14:40.520 that's not good at all.

00:14:43.460 The guy was standing in the milk crate

00:14:44.760 and someone else came and kicked

00:14:45.600 the milk crates out. 0.98

00:14:46.260 You could kill someone doing that. 0.99

00:14:48.080 Like I could be dead. 0.99

00:14:51.540 I, I, that is unacceptable.

00:14:54.160 Unacceptable.

00:14:55.660 Anyway, I bring this up really

00:14:57.260 because, uh, I, at watching these videos,

00:14:59.820 I felt inspired

00:15:03.880 and there's a real part of me

00:15:05.980 that wants to try it

00:15:07.040 only because

00:15:09.140 I'll tell you why. 0.99

00:15:11.800 It's not because I'm stupid. 0.99

00:15:13.060 I might be part of it, 0.99

00:15:13.760 but none of these people

00:15:15.100 have the right strategy.

00:15:15.940 So I feel like it may be really,

00:15:17.420 really for the good of everybody,

00:15:18.560 really to, to protect other people.

00:15:20.580 I want to do the milk crate challenge

00:15:22.040 myself to show you how it's done

00:15:23.560 so that we can,

00:15:25.220 so we won't have any more of these,

00:15:26.400 any more neck and spinal cord injuries.

00:15:29.820 Because the mistake people make

00:15:31.380 is when they get to the top milk crate,

00:15:33.140 they stop.

00:15:33.960 You never have two feet

00:15:35.880 on the same milk crate.

00:15:37.120 Okay, that's the strategy.

00:15:38.280 Keep moving.

00:15:39.600 You got to go with the momentum.

00:15:42.740 And I want to be able to demonstrate this.

00:15:44.540 And I had this idea

00:15:45.140 of doing the milk crate challenge.

00:15:46.560 I was talking to my wife

00:15:47.420 about it last night.

00:15:48.560 And here's what she said to me.

00:15:49.980 These are her words.

00:15:50.820 She said,

00:15:51.420 you're too old. 1.00

00:15:54.060 Um, you'll look stupid 1.00

00:15:55.460 and you'll wreck your face. 1.00

00:15:57.220 That's what she said to me.

00:15:58.060 This is the kind of

00:16:01.460 doubt that I have to encounter.

00:16:04.940 And then, uh,

00:16:06.560 our producers,

00:16:07.400 Sean and McKenna,

00:16:08.140 put a poll up

00:16:08.840 for you folks in the audience

00:16:11.280 said, should Matt do

00:16:12.200 the milk crate challenge?

00:16:13.220 And apparently

00:16:13.760 almost everyone said no.

00:16:15.320 So I feel betrayed really

00:16:16.500 in many ways.

00:16:17.860 I would think you of all people

00:16:19.280 would want me to do it.

00:16:23.500 So I haven't,

00:16:24.520 I haven't ruled it out.

00:16:25.320 I do.

00:16:26.680 I feel I,

00:16:27.380 this is a calling

00:16:28.040 that I feel from the universe.

00:16:29.340 I feel like the universe

00:16:30.060 is just,

00:16:30.720 it's my fate.

00:16:32.080 It's my destiny

00:16:32.760 atop those milk crates.

00:16:34.440 So we'll see.

00:16:35.740 All right.

00:16:36.260 Let's, uh,

00:16:36.860 move on to the real,

00:16:37.760 real news here.

00:16:39.160 Away from the milk crates

00:16:40.080 for a moment.

00:16:40.820 Let's start with this.

00:16:41.860 Buster Rhymes

00:16:42.660 at a concert.

00:16:43.680 He's a rapper who,

00:16:45.120 well, he was,

00:16:45.780 I don't know if he's

00:16:46.300 still making music,

00:16:47.200 but back in the nineties,

00:16:48.040 he was a big deal.

00:16:48.940 And, but he's still out there

00:16:50.100 and he was at a concert

00:16:51.240 a couple of days ago.

00:16:52.940 And he launches into

00:16:54.660 what I think unironically,

00:16:56.660 I say,

00:16:57.240 this is a profound

00:16:58.120 and powerful speech

00:16:59.080 railing against

00:17:00.160 masking mandates

00:17:01.380 and standing up

00:17:02.540 for liberty.

00:17:02.920 It also requires

00:17:04.000 some courage here

00:17:04.680 because the audience

00:17:05.900 is not entirely with him,

00:17:07.580 especially because

00:17:08.560 of how political

00:17:09.260 this whole issue is.

00:17:10.180 It doesn't need

00:17:10.560 to be political,

00:17:11.140 but it is.

00:17:12.860 So let's, uh,

00:17:13.800 let's listen to that.

00:17:14.440 I'm trying to take

00:17:30.520 our civil liberties away.

00:17:32.860 Feels good to be back outside.

00:17:34.900 We outside for real.

00:17:36.320 It's called

00:17:41.220 the God-given right

00:17:42.220 of freedom, right?

00:17:44.300 No human being

00:17:45.600 is supposed to tell you

00:17:46.460 you can't even breathe freely. 1.00

00:17:48.980 F*** your mask. 1.00

00:17:51.880 I'm not saying. 1.00

00:17:53.480 Some of y'all

00:17:53.960 might feel differently, 1.00

00:17:55.360 but f*** your mask. 1.00

00:17:58.000 I can't rhyme to you 1.00

00:17:59.020 with a mask on.

00:18:00.540 We can't eat food 1.00

00:18:01.560 with a f***ing mask on. 0.99

00:18:03.060 We can't even see 0.99

00:18:05.100 each other smile

00:18:06.060 with a mask on. 1.00

00:18:08.520 Damn, no. 0.99

00:18:09.440 I come from a time 0.99

00:18:10.520 where before I used

00:18:11.580 to even want to

00:18:12.140 holler at a chick. 1.00

00:18:13.260 I used to have to do 0.99

00:18:14.380 s*** with my face 0.97

00:18:15.320 to let her know 0.95

00:18:15.800 that I'm into it.

00:18:20.720 All of that energy

00:18:21.760 gets blocked

00:18:22.400 when your mask is on.

00:18:24.640 Energy is important

00:18:25.860 and we are all

00:18:26.840 conductors of 0.92

00:18:27.620 f***ing good energy. 0.56

00:18:31.740 We also gotta be 0.99

00:18:32.940 clear when a motherf***er 1.00

00:18:34.340 trying to give you 0.99

00:18:35.000 bad energy.

00:18:36.560 You can tell

00:18:37.440 from only the expression

00:18:38.520 on their face.

00:18:40.440 I want to see

00:18:41.320 your face. 1.00

00:18:42.100 F*** your mask. 1.00

00:18:44.360 And he's right. 1.00

00:18:47.280 You can't holler

00:18:47.840 at a chick.

00:18:49.160 I've been making

00:18:49.760 that point from

00:18:50.280 day one.

00:18:52.500 I wish I had thought

00:18:53.400 to say that

00:18:53.800 in my school board speech.

00:18:55.920 First of all,

00:18:56.840 with these masks on,

00:18:58.020 we can't holler

00:18:58.600 at chicks.

00:19:01.300 Maybe it's better

00:19:01.920 that I didn't include that.

00:19:03.460 Especially at a school board.

00:19:04.940 But if you get past

00:19:07.000 the profanity

00:19:07.520 and everything,

00:19:08.040 he's expressing it

00:19:08.860 in his own way

00:19:09.540 as a rapper.

00:19:10.420 But he's 100% right.

00:19:14.340 And this is also not,

00:19:15.700 nothing that makes it

00:19:16.240 important here

00:19:16.680 is I'm assuming,

00:19:18.260 not stereotype,

00:19:19.240 but I'm assuming

00:19:19.580 that Busta Rhymes

00:19:20.460 is not a conservative

00:19:21.980 Republican.

00:19:23.820 Presumably.

00:19:24.260 And yet,

00:19:26.660 he also feels

00:19:27.940 that it is absurd

00:19:29.340 for the people

00:19:30.000 in power

00:19:30.520 to be telling you

00:19:31.240 that you can't

00:19:32.120 breathe freely.

00:19:33.720 You're not allowed

00:19:34.480 to go out

00:19:34.900 and breathe

00:19:35.380 fresh air.

00:19:40.160 If that's not

00:19:41.280 oppressive,

00:19:42.400 then I don't know

00:19:43.080 what is.

00:19:44.920 It's actually hard

00:19:45.940 to imagine

00:19:46.820 a more oppressive

00:19:48.100 policy than that.

00:19:49.620 trying to control

00:19:52.440 your ability

00:19:53.140 to breathe

00:19:54.040 fresh air.

00:19:57.680 And these other things

00:19:58.740 that he focuses

00:19:59.300 a lot on

00:20:00.400 how we can't

00:20:03.320 pick up

00:20:04.360 signals

00:20:05.600 that we're sending

00:20:06.160 each other,

00:20:06.700 facial signals,

00:20:07.400 we can't see

00:20:07.800 each other smile.

00:20:09.780 And I know

00:20:10.120 it's very easy

00:20:10.820 when you say,

00:20:11.500 well,

00:20:11.840 the mask,

00:20:12.320 you can't see

00:20:12.620 each other smile.

00:20:13.320 it's really easy

00:20:15.340 for someone

00:20:15.780 in the pro-mask

00:20:16.880 side,

00:20:17.340 someone in the

00:20:17.740 mask cult

00:20:18.360 to say,

00:20:18.700 who cares about

00:20:19.200 see each other smile?

00:20:20.400 We're in a pandemic.

00:20:21.460 Why does that matter?

00:20:23.540 It actually does matter.

00:20:25.620 You know why it matters?

00:20:26.880 Because we're human beings.

00:20:29.480 And we're not robots.

00:20:32.100 This is an important

00:20:33.040 part of human interaction.

00:20:35.940 It's an essential

00:20:37.580 part of communication.

00:20:40.480 Actually,

00:20:41.160 the majority

00:20:41.760 of the communication

00:20:42.800 that we do

00:20:43.940 with each other

00:20:44.600 and to each other

00:20:45.560 is non-verbal.

00:20:49.000 And so,

00:20:49.380 removing that,

00:20:51.360 not even,

00:20:52.380 not for a couple

00:20:53.140 of days,

00:20:54.300 not in a limited

00:20:55.960 circumstance,

00:20:58.420 okay,

00:20:58.780 but indefinitely,

00:21:01.580 inside and outside,

00:21:04.140 having whole cities

00:21:05.580 full of people

00:21:06.400 walking around

00:21:07.080 with their faces covered,

00:21:08.200 removing that,

00:21:08.940 I think,

00:21:10.880 does profound

00:21:11.800 psychological damage.

00:21:12.800 and removing that

00:21:14.980 from kids,

00:21:15.440 especially.

00:21:18.380 Yeah,

00:21:18.620 taking away

00:21:19.140 a child's ability

00:21:20.160 to,

00:21:21.360 we could put

00:21:22.060 everything else

00:21:22.660 to the side.

00:21:24.520 Simply taking away

00:21:25.540 a child's ability

00:21:26.280 to smile at someone

00:21:27.680 and see them

00:21:28.340 smiling back

00:21:29.120 does extraordinary harm.

00:21:32.960 and you would have

00:21:36.420 to have

00:21:37.140 a very,

00:21:40.820 very good reason

00:21:41.580 to even consider

00:21:42.340 something like this

00:21:43.020 and we don't have it

00:21:43.660 here

00:21:43.820 with COVID,

00:21:45.460 which poses

00:21:45.940 almost no threat

00:21:47.500 to kids whatsoever.

00:21:49.760 But this is,

00:21:50.560 this is what we're doing,

00:21:51.300 saying we can't breathe

00:21:52.000 freely

00:21:52.360 and speaking of that,

00:21:54.460 the Oregon governor,

00:21:55.340 Kate Brown,

00:21:56.480 has just imposed

00:21:57.940 another mask mandate

00:21:59.160 and this is for

00:22:00.440 people outdoors

00:22:01.420 and even if they're

00:22:03.300 vaccinated.

00:22:03.760 Let's listen to this.

00:22:05.020 Today,

00:22:05.500 I'm announcing that

00:22:06.420 effective Friday,

00:22:07.700 August 27th,

00:22:09.380 masks will be required

00:22:10.780 in all public

00:22:11.880 outdoor settings

00:22:12.740 where physical distancing

00:22:14.200 is not possible,

00:22:16.340 regardless of

00:22:17.320 vaccination status.

00:22:19.620 Masks have proven

00:22:20.320 to be effective

00:22:21.120 at reducing transmission

00:22:22.440 and are a necessary

00:22:24.400 measure right now,

00:22:25.920 even in some

00:22:26.820 outdoor settings,

00:22:28.180 to help us fight

00:22:29.080 COVID

00:22:29.440 and to protect

00:22:30.660 one another.

00:22:33.460 You know the

00:22:34.520 most dishonest

00:22:36.200 part of that?

00:22:36.700 Well,

00:22:36.760 the whole thing is?

00:22:38.760 The whole thing is

00:22:39.900 the very idea

00:22:40.980 that you need

00:22:41.560 to wear a mask

00:22:42.200 when you're outside,

00:22:43.120 even if you're vaccinated.

00:22:44.240 What is the chance?

00:22:45.260 They never do this,

00:22:46.000 of course.

00:22:46.340 They never give the data.

00:22:48.820 I want you,

00:22:49.860 Kate Brown,

00:22:50.420 or someone,

00:22:51.100 tell me the

00:22:51.600 statistical

00:22:52.300 likelihood

00:22:53.120 that a

00:22:54.560 vaccinated person

00:22:56.220 outside

00:22:57.000 is going to

00:22:58.960 transmit

00:22:59.920 or contract

00:23:00.800 COVID.

00:23:02.800 Never mind the fact

00:23:03.520 that if they do contract it,

00:23:04.600 it's almost certain

00:23:05.220 going to be a mild case

00:23:06.040 of the sniffle,

00:23:06.740 so who cares anyway?

00:23:09.880 This is why

00:23:10.460 all of this panicking

00:23:11.320 over,

00:23:11.700 look at the cases,

00:23:12.640 the cases are up. 0.77

00:23:13.700 Who gives a damn

00:23:14.540 about the cases?

00:23:16.720 That doesn't matter.

00:23:17.740 I got news for you.

00:23:20.860 I don't care

00:23:21.660 if all 330 million people

00:23:23.840 in this country

00:23:24.320 have a case.

00:23:26.220 That in and of itself

00:23:27.260 doesn't mean anything.

00:23:29.420 If the vast majority

00:23:30.500 of those people

00:23:30.920 just have a cough

00:23:31.900 and are sneezing

00:23:33.840 a little bit,

00:23:34.220 have a runny nose,

00:23:35.440 what matters

00:23:36.940 is the severity

00:23:38.040 of the case.

00:23:39.980 That's what matters.

00:23:40.880 And for the vast majority

00:23:44.920 of people

00:23:45.300 in the country

00:23:46.020 right now,

00:23:46.620 their chances

00:23:47.000 of having a severe case

00:23:48.280 is very,

00:23:48.860 very diminished

00:23:49.280 either because of

00:23:50.080 natural immunity

00:23:50.720 or because they

00:23:51.320 had the vaccine.

00:23:53.940 So the whole thing

00:23:54.700 is dishonest, 0.59

00:23:55.280 but also where she says

00:23:56.100 right now.

00:23:57.120 Well, it's the best thing

00:23:58.000 right now.

00:23:59.540 They've been saying

00:24:00.200 right now

00:24:00.640 for 18 months.

00:24:01.840 Not right now,

00:24:02.580 only right now,

00:24:03.180 only right now.

00:24:05.940 When is it not

00:24:06.920 going to be right now?

00:24:07.980 What is the end game?

00:24:13.080 They've never told us that.

00:24:15.880 A year and a half in,

00:24:17.180 they still have not

00:24:17.780 told us the end game

00:24:18.600 because there isn't one

00:24:19.880 and there never was one.

00:24:23.080 They still won't say it though

00:24:24.360 and the media doesn't ask

00:24:25.320 because the message

00:24:28.800 that we're getting

00:24:29.440 from places like Oregon

00:24:32.240 or California

00:24:33.660 or New York

00:24:34.280 or certainly Australia

00:24:35.800 and New Zealand

00:24:36.500 and plenty of other

00:24:38.820 countries across the globe,

00:24:39.560 the message that we're getting

00:24:40.240 is as long as COVID exists,

00:24:42.380 as long as even one person 0.99

00:24:43.940 in the whole damn country 0.98

00:24:44.960 has it, 0.99

00:24:46.120 as was the case

00:24:47.060 in New Zealand,

00:24:47.900 we have to have

00:24:48.840 these measures in place.

00:24:51.040 So the end game

00:24:52.000 is COVID zero,

00:24:53.520 no COVID anywhere.

00:24:54.420 Well, that's never,

00:24:55.400 ever, ever going to happen.

00:24:59.280 And I'll tell you

00:24:59.900 something else.

00:25:00.300 They've known

00:25:00.740 from the beginning

00:25:01.200 that was never going to happen.

00:25:03.340 The so-called 0.85

00:25:04.020 public health authorities,

00:25:05.100 they knew from

00:25:05.540 the very beginning

00:25:06.160 they know what

00:25:09.000 a coronavirus is.

00:25:09.900 They know it's not

00:25:10.300 going to go away. 0.94

00:25:13.320 There are some afflictions

00:25:15.040 and plagues

00:25:15.720 and pandemics

00:25:16.520 that we have been able

00:25:20.720 to basically eradicate,

00:25:22.160 but not all illnesses

00:25:23.660 are the same.

00:25:25.260 And a respiratory virus

00:25:27.100 that travels through the air,

00:25:29.460 you're not going to get rid of it

00:25:30.420 any more than we can

00:25:31.060 get rid of the flu.

00:25:31.740 They've always known that.

00:25:38.100 So the choice

00:25:39.080 all along has been

00:25:40.100 we stop doing

00:25:40.920 all of this

00:25:41.540 right now completely

00:25:42.500 or we do it forever.

00:25:43.560 That really is,

00:25:44.080 it's one or the other.

00:25:44.720 There's actually no in-between

00:25:45.620 that makes any sense.

00:25:47.720 Anything in-between

00:25:48.280 is arbitrary.

00:25:49.460 Oh, we'll do this

00:25:49.860 for another year and a half

00:25:50.660 and then we'll stop.

00:25:51.800 Why?

00:25:52.080 I mean, a year and a half

00:25:52.540 we're going to be

00:25:52.760 in the same spot

00:25:53.280 that we are now.

00:25:54.900 which is that

00:25:56.540 it's out there.

00:25:57.160 It's not

00:25:57.440 it's

00:26:00.760 relatively mild

00:26:03.100 in most cases,

00:26:03.740 but it's out there.

00:26:06.820 Staying on the COVID

00:26:07.700 end of things here,

00:26:09.260 Daily Wire has

00:26:09.960 this report.

00:26:10.860 Governor Kristi Noem

00:26:11.800 of South Dakota

00:26:12.660 is not backing

00:26:13.820 Republican legislation

00:26:14.720 seeking to ban

00:26:15.640 so-called vaccine mandates

00:26:17.180 within the state.

00:26:18.940 Republican State Representative

00:26:20.620 John Hanson

00:26:22.000 and Scott Odenbach

00:26:23.080 are trying to null

00:26:24.780 businesses' mandates

00:26:25.800 mandating their employees

00:26:26.940 to get vaccinated

00:26:27.580 against COVID-19

00:26:28.480 through the COVID-19

00:26:29.420 Vaccine Freedom of Conscience Act.

00:26:31.920 Noem claims

00:26:32.840 such legislation

00:26:33.500 is a slippery slope

00:26:34.520 that could lead

00:26:35.100 to other dictates

00:26:36.120 toward businesses

00:26:36.820 that Republicans

00:26:37.880 might not like.

00:26:39.320 Noem said,

00:26:40.220 quote,

00:26:40.280 if we mandate one thing,

00:26:42.020 are we setting a precedent

00:26:43.000 for what we're telling businesses

00:26:44.160 they have to do

00:26:44.780 far into the future?

00:26:47.000 The Republican governor

00:26:48.000 has, though,

00:26:48.800 banned vaccine mandates

00:26:49.720 for employees

00:26:50.220 in state and local governments.

00:26:51.280 Oh, a mandate

00:26:53.320 is a slippery slope.

00:26:54.500 If we as Republicans

00:26:56.120 use our power

00:26:57.480 that we've been given

00:26:59.300 by the people

00:27:00.020 because we're a duly elected

00:27:01.120 government,

00:27:02.080 state government,

00:27:02.980 if we use our power

00:27:04.140 to mandate something,

00:27:07.220 then, I mean,

00:27:08.380 in the future,

00:27:09.140 we might be expected

00:27:10.040 to use our power again,

00:27:11.400 God forbid.

00:27:13.020 It's a slippery slope.

00:27:15.560 Yeah, it is a slippery slope,

00:27:17.060 Noem.

00:27:17.280 And that's what,

00:27:19.700 it's a slippery slope

00:27:20.560 to your citizens,

00:27:24.240 the people who elected you

00:27:25.180 expecting you

00:27:25.860 to actually use

00:27:26.920 the power you've been given. 0.89

00:27:28.260 You're damn right

00:27:28.760 it's a slippery slope 0.77

00:27:29.560 in that sense.

00:27:32.200 It's not a slippery slope

00:27:33.280 in the sense that,

00:27:34.000 well, if we mandate this,

00:27:35.120 then we'll have to mandate everything.

00:27:38.160 No, that's where discernment

00:27:39.520 comes in.

00:27:41.040 Noem.

00:27:42.740 That's where you make

00:27:43.460 judgment calls.

00:27:44.280 Okay?

00:27:47.540 Not every situation

00:27:48.780 is the same.

00:27:50.820 No one says that

00:27:51.640 if you mandate businesses

00:27:52.600 have to do this,

00:27:53.280 that you have to take away

00:27:53.920 all freedom from businesses

00:27:55.000 altogether

00:27:55.540 and take away,

00:27:57.700 strip all of their power

00:27:58.640 and the government

00:27:59.620 has to take over

00:28:00.340 and nationalize

00:28:01.420 all the businesses.

00:28:02.160 Nobody's saying that.

00:28:04.920 This is a particular

00:28:06.060 circumstance

00:28:06.940 where freedom and liberty

00:28:09.100 is under dire threat

00:28:11.100 and you can address

00:28:14.220 that circumstance

00:28:15.160 with the power

00:28:16.020 that you've been given.

00:28:19.380 I tell you what,

00:28:20.240 I am done

00:28:21.080 and have been done

00:28:21.900 for a long time

00:28:23.220 with these Republicans

00:28:24.620 who are too afraid

00:28:25.400 to use their power.

00:28:28.200 What is it you want to do,

00:28:30.040 Christy?

00:28:31.840 I mean,

00:28:32.260 you don't want to use

00:28:33.160 your power here.

00:28:34.980 You didn't want to use

00:28:35.880 your power

00:28:36.480 over schools

00:28:38.260 to stop them

00:28:39.020 from putting men

00:28:39.820 into women's sports. 0.94

00:28:43.320 Just like the Republican

00:28:44.180 governor

00:28:44.520 in Arkansas

00:28:46.920 didn't want to use

00:28:47.600 his power

00:28:48.180 to stop children

00:28:50.500 from being

00:28:51.380 generally mutilated.

00:28:54.340 So,

00:28:54.820 what do you want

00:28:55.460 to use your power to do?

00:28:56.280 You have it.

00:28:57.020 What do you expect to do?

00:28:59.020 Well,

00:28:59.260 the answer is

00:28:59.660 for these Republicans,

00:29:00.540 they expect to do nothing.

00:29:03.800 They want to be given

00:29:04.640 the power

00:29:05.040 just so that they have it

00:29:06.200 and then they want

00:29:08.920 to sit there

00:29:09.260 and do nothing

00:29:09.740 and wait until

00:29:10.320 they're out of power

00:29:11.020 and then they can

00:29:12.360 start talking again

00:29:13.060 about all the things

00:29:13.680 they would be doing

00:29:14.360 if they only had

00:29:14.960 that power again.

00:29:16.720 That's the game

00:29:17.280 for Republicans

00:29:17.820 that has been

00:29:18.360 that same game

00:29:18.900 for decades now.

00:29:21.200 When they're out of power,

00:29:22.100 they say,

00:29:22.400 give us the power.

00:29:23.120 There's so many things.

00:29:23.700 Here's all the things

00:29:24.240 we could do.

00:29:26.700 And then the voters say,

00:29:27.600 okay,

00:29:27.880 well,

00:29:28.040 here you go.

00:29:31.200 And then instead

00:29:31.760 of doing things,

00:29:32.500 they spend their time

00:29:33.460 coming up with excuses

00:29:34.240 and saying,

00:29:34.680 well,

00:29:35.600 hang on,

00:29:36.340 actually,

00:29:36.660 we can't do that

00:29:37.360 because X, Y, Z

00:29:38.240 and no,

00:29:38.600 that's not going to work

00:29:39.200 because of these reasons

00:29:39.880 over here.

00:29:41.120 And if we do this

00:29:42.000 over here,

00:29:42.460 well,

00:29:42.600 then the Democrats

00:29:43.420 will do it

00:29:43.880 when they're in power.

00:29:48.180 No use for these Republicans 1.00

00:29:49.540 who have made themselves useless. 0.99

00:29:53.260 No use for Christy Noem. 0.98

00:29:54.440 Christy Noem

00:29:54.780 is a very attractive woman.

00:29:57.240 So she's got that going for her.

00:30:00.640 As far as I can tell,

00:30:01.520 that's the only reason

00:30:02.380 why she was ever looked at

00:30:04.220 as some sort of

00:30:05.180 2024 potential front runner.

00:30:10.260 The hype and everything

00:30:11.220 that she's gotten

00:30:11.880 from conservative media

00:30:12.840 is entirely based

00:30:14.260 on the fact

00:30:14.660 that she's an extremely

00:30:15.360 attractive woman,

00:30:16.000 which she is.

00:30:19.720 But,

00:30:20.240 you know,

00:30:20.500 you put 50 pounds on her 0.99

00:30:22.240 and another 20 years,

00:30:25.100 I don't think she gets

00:30:26.140 any of the hype.

00:30:28.920 Because outside of that,

00:30:30.120 she's just your standard

00:30:31.840 sort of corporatist

00:30:32.820 establishment Republican

00:30:34.700 who's not interested

00:30:35.420 in doing anything.

00:30:40.320 We got to do a lot

00:30:41.320 better than that. 0.65

00:30:42.960 Gimmicky Republicans

00:30:44.000 getting elected 0.89

00:30:46.540 based on how they look

00:30:47.560 or whatever,

00:30:48.000 that's,

00:30:48.280 that's,

00:30:48.740 those days have to be over.

00:30:50.000 We can't afford that.

00:30:52.660 I don't care what you look like. 0.81

00:30:54.420 I don't care about any of that.

00:30:55.420 my first qualifier

00:30:59.560 as a voter

00:31:00.260 is,

00:31:00.860 are you going to use

00:31:02.020 the power

00:31:02.660 that you are asking us

00:31:04.180 to give you?

00:31:06.180 If you're not,

00:31:06.900 then sit down.

00:31:09.800 All right,

00:31:10.240 let's see,

00:31:10.480 what else do we got here?

00:31:13.220 It's also from the Daily Wire.

00:31:14.380 It says,

00:31:14.580 on Monday,

00:31:15.100 President Biden

00:31:15.760 got down on one knee

00:31:17.020 for a photo

00:31:17.640 when he welcomed

00:31:18.340 the WNBA champion

00:31:19.640 Seattle Storm

00:31:20.700 to the White House.

00:31:23.140 Biden's kneel,

00:31:23.800 which some interpreted

00:31:24.460 as a symbolic gesture

00:31:26.080 in support of

00:31:26.580 Black Lives Matter,

00:31:27.300 prompted a response

00:31:28.000 from Latasha Brown,

00:31:29.640 co-founder of

00:31:30.200 Black Lives Matter.

00:31:33.180 Before we get to

00:31:33.920 that response,

00:31:34.500 actually,

00:31:34.760 because it's a great response,

00:31:35.560 but let's look at the picture.

00:31:36.600 Here he is

00:31:37.260 with the Seattle Storm,

00:31:39.440 which is apparently

00:31:40.060 a WNBA team.

00:31:43.140 I know you and I

00:31:44.140 for the first time

00:31:44.640 are learning

00:31:45.540 that the Seattle Storm

00:31:46.400 existed.

00:31:48.480 We're learning

00:31:49.100 that there was

00:31:49.620 a WNBA championship

00:31:50.640 and that they won it,

00:31:51.440 so congratulations to them.

00:31:52.560 Can we also look at

00:31:54.980 who is the woman there 0.99

00:31:56.680 in the gray dress

00:31:59.200 and it looks like

00:31:59.640 she's got pants on 1.00

00:32:00.480 under the dress?

00:32:03.280 Now, we know,

00:32:04.180 and me as a fashion icon,

00:32:05.360 of course,

00:32:05.640 I'm going to zero in on that,

00:32:06.620 but what the hell

00:32:07.900 is she wearing,

00:32:08.600 first of all?

00:32:11.340 But more to the point,

00:32:12.040 we've got the President

00:32:12.500 of the United States

00:32:13.100 kneeling down.

00:32:14.720 I mean,

00:32:14.940 it's possible he just

00:32:15.820 decided to pose that way.

00:32:18.680 Seems unlikely.

00:32:19.680 I mean,

00:32:19.820 it probably took him

00:32:20.420 45 minutes to get up

00:32:21.540 from that position

00:32:22.200 given how old he is,

00:32:23.220 so that would seem

00:32:25.800 to be a symbolic gesture

00:32:26.980 in support of

00:32:27.500 Black Lives Matter.

00:32:28.100 That would be my assumption.

00:32:29.220 I don't know why else

00:32:29.780 he would pose that way.

00:32:32.280 Typically,

00:32:32.900 presidents are going

00:32:33.480 to be standing

00:32:34.060 alongside the people,

00:32:36.320 but then let's see

00:32:37.780 how this was received

00:32:39.360 by people on the left

00:32:40.540 and by Black Lives Matter

00:32:41.740 itself.

00:32:44.220 We go back to Daily Wire.

00:32:45.400 It says,

00:32:45.620 Latasha Brown,

00:32:46.580 co-founder of Black Lives Matter,

00:32:49.080 said,

00:32:49.520 and this is reported

00:32:50.040 by Yahoo.

00:32:50.660 She said,

00:32:51.060 the President's

00:32:51.580 possible gesture

00:32:52.440 was admirable,

00:32:53.700 but we cannot

00:32:54.620 just have

00:32:55.460 symbolic progress.

00:32:56.920 She said to Biden,

00:32:58.140 where is that kind

00:32:58.940 of passion and energy

00:32:59.980 and commitment

00:33:00.500 to voting rights?

00:33:01.640 Because I'm not

00:33:02.420 seeing him actually

00:33:03.220 be able to say

00:33:04.100 that he's willing

00:33:05.060 to do that.

00:33:07.600 So,

00:33:08.220 he gets on his knee

00:33:12.040 begging for approval,

00:33:14.560 literally on his knees

00:33:15.700 begging for approval,

00:33:16.660 and of course,

00:33:17.240 as always,

00:33:18.580 it's not enough,

00:33:19.320 it's not good enough

00:33:20.100 because it never is.

00:33:23.400 All right,

00:33:23.640 next we have this

00:33:24.220 from the National Review.

00:33:24.960 Here's a really

00:33:25.320 interesting report.

00:33:26.060 It says,

00:33:26.260 Planned Parenthood

00:33:26.800 dresses itself up

00:33:27.740 in pink and calls

00:33:28.480 itself an essential

00:33:29.260 women's healthcare

00:33:30.020 organization,

00:33:30.840 but its business

00:33:31.420 model tells a

00:33:32.060 different story.

00:33:32.520 Each year,

00:33:32.820 Planned Parenthood

00:33:33.200 clinics perform

00:33:34.160 upwards of 330,000

00:33:35.360 abortions,

00:33:35.820 making the group

00:33:36.220 the most prolific

00:33:36.760 abortion provider

00:33:37.340 in the country.

00:33:38.260 But recently,

00:33:39.020 Planned Parenthood

00:33:39.500 has quietly begun

00:33:40.760 expanding into a

00:33:41.840 new arena,

00:33:43.000 hormone therapy

00:33:43.820 for individuals

00:33:44.500 with gender dysphoria,

00:33:46.940 a service the group

00:33:47.900 calls gender-affirming care.

00:33:51.640 Hormone therapy

00:33:52.360 has become popular

00:33:53.080 as a means of

00:33:53.720 artificially suppressing

00:33:54.760 the sex characteristics

00:33:55.580 of those who feel

00:33:56.560 misaligned with

00:33:57.480 their biological sex.

00:33:59.780 And now,

00:34:00.420 it says,

00:34:01.060 Planned Parenthood's

00:34:01.480 most recent report

00:34:02.080 from 2019

00:34:02.580 recorded more than

00:34:03.360 200 centers

00:34:04.180 in 31 states

00:34:04.980 that provide

00:34:05.360 hormone therapy

00:34:06.200 for transgender patients.

00:34:08.980 According to

00:34:09.400 the group's website,

00:34:10.180 that number

00:34:10.480 is even larger now,

00:34:12.020 close to 300 centers

00:34:13.580 across 38 states.

00:34:14.960 Maybe this will be

00:34:20.200 enough for anyone,

00:34:21.400 especially on the right,

00:34:22.120 who still doesn't

00:34:22.620 understand why

00:34:23.160 this is an important

00:34:23.720 issue.

00:34:26.160 But why is

00:34:26.940 Planned Parenthood

00:34:27.520 getting involved in it?

00:34:29.780 Why do you think

00:34:30.460 Planned Parenthood

00:34:31.060 has decided

00:34:31.700 that now they want

00:34:33.060 to start handing out

00:34:33.920 hormone therapy?

00:34:37.720 That's got nothing

00:34:39.380 to do with

00:34:39.940 so-called

00:34:40.320 reproductive rights. 0.98

00:34:41.380 What you're doing

00:34:44.560 in many cases

00:34:45.660 is you're making

00:34:46.300 it impossible

00:34:46.840 for people to reproduce.

00:34:48.700 So this is the

00:34:49.820 organization

00:34:51.260 that bills itself

00:34:52.120 as the leading

00:34:52.840 provider of

00:34:53.820 reproductive health care

00:34:55.580 and now they're

00:34:57.940 giving out pills

00:34:58.620 that make people

00:35:00.820 impotent, infertile, 0.96

00:35:02.400 unable to reproduce.

00:35:05.140 Which actually,

00:35:06.000 the more that you

00:35:06.360 think about it,

00:35:06.880 it kind of makes sense

00:35:07.700 because that's what

00:35:09.040 they do with abortion.

00:35:09.720 That's always been

00:35:11.820 the morbid irony

00:35:12.580 of Planned Parenthood

00:35:13.680 is that they say

00:35:14.300 that they're interested

00:35:15.160 in reproductive health

00:35:16.980 but it's actually

00:35:17.940 reproductive destruction

00:35:19.440 is what they're trying

00:35:20.160 to do.

00:35:20.480 They're trying to

00:35:20.900 destroy the capacity

00:35:21.900 to reproduce

00:35:22.720 and they're trying

00:35:24.900 to destroy

00:35:25.900 what has been

00:35:26.640 reproduced already.

00:35:30.220 Because as we know,

00:35:31.400 I mean,

00:35:31.880 abortion itself

00:35:34.040 has nothing to do

00:35:34.860 with,

00:35:35.680 if the word

00:35:36.460 reproductive rights

00:35:37.520 or reproductive justice 0.84

00:35:38.620 means anything at all,

00:35:40.680 abortion can't be 1.00

00:35:41.540 related to it

00:35:42.320 because once abortion 0.99

00:35:43.880 happens,

00:35:44.340 as I have always said,

00:35:46.300 the reproduction

00:35:46.860 has already occurred.

00:35:49.180 You are killing

00:35:50.100 something that's

00:35:50.660 already been reproduced.

00:35:53.420 So,

00:35:54.000 in another sense,

00:35:54.720 it actually makes

00:35:55.140 a lot of sense

00:35:56.440 that they would

00:35:57.420 get involved in this.

00:36:00.500 Because their

00:36:01.300 MO,

00:36:03.840 their mission,

00:36:04.620 is to prevent

00:36:05.900 reproduction.

00:36:06.580 This is another

00:36:07.200 means by which

00:36:08.120 to do that.

00:36:09.300 So,

00:36:09.440 I guess that

00:36:09.840 we can't be

00:36:11.720 too surprised

00:36:12.300 by that.

00:36:13.460 On this same

00:36:14.160 note here,

00:36:17.240 here's a,

00:36:17.820 we haven't played

00:36:18.580 a crazy TikTok

00:36:19.220 video in a while.

00:36:19.960 Well,

00:36:20.200 when I say while,

00:36:21.080 I mean like we

00:36:21.500 haven't played one

00:36:21.960 in maybe two days.

00:36:22.940 So,

00:36:23.240 here's one that

00:36:23.640 went viral.

00:36:24.340 Here is a

00:36:24.960 person who identifies,

00:36:26.640 I think,

00:36:26.860 as both trans

00:36:27.620 and non-binary.

00:36:29.260 And they're

00:36:29.620 explaining why,

00:36:31.520 you know,

00:36:32.580 if you're a parent,

00:36:33.260 you shouldn't be

00:36:33.700 concerned about him

00:36:35.100 going into a

00:36:35.920 restroom with 1.00

00:36:37.200 your young

00:36:37.860 daughter.

00:36:38.240 He explains why.

00:36:38.900 Here it is.

00:36:39.800 I hope everyone

00:36:40.720 knows that we

00:36:42.940 need to protect

00:36:43.780 the women and

00:36:44.680 children has been

00:36:46.260 used against

00:36:47.260 marginalized people

00:36:48.620 for most of

00:36:50.480 human history.

00:36:51.680 These comments

00:36:52.320 upset me because

00:36:53.040 it's anti-trans,

00:36:54.360 of course,

00:36:54.880 but also it

00:36:55.820 strikes me as

00:36:56.540 anti-your-own

00:36:57.660 daughters,

00:36:59.280 anti-young 0.95

00:37:00.000 people,

00:37:01.200 anti-women. 0.94

00:37:02.040 If you are

00:37:04.200 a young person,

00:37:05.200 if you're a

00:37:05.840 daughter,

00:37:06.200 if you are

00:37:07.040 a woman,

00:37:07.960 would you do

00:37:08.540 me a favor?

00:37:09.980 Please let

00:37:10.840 all of the men

00:37:11.760 in your life

00:37:12.500 know that

00:37:14.100 you can take

00:37:14.620 care of

00:37:14.900 yourself.

00:37:16.060 Let them know

00:37:16.800 you don't need

00:37:17.360 protecting and

00:37:18.660 that you

00:37:18.860 especially don't

00:37:19.780 want protection

00:37:20.880 if it means

00:37:22.500 erasing

00:37:23.380 trans people 0.84

00:37:24.700 from public

00:37:25.700 life.

00:37:27.380 Yes,

00:37:27.880 he says,

00:37:28.420 nothing creepy

00:37:28.940 about that at

00:37:29.460 all.

00:37:29.720 The man in

00:37:30.380 the dress

00:37:30.700 here says,

00:37:32.260 no,

00:37:32.560 no,

00:37:32.740 don't worry

00:37:33.960 about protecting

00:37:34.660 your daughter

00:37:35.180 when I walk

00:37:35.740 into the

00:37:36.120 restroom with 1.00

00:37:36.680 her.

00:37:37.300 She can 0.59

00:37:38.000 handle

00:37:38.420 herself.

00:37:41.900 That's what

00:37:42.380 this guy is

00:37:42.820 saying.

00:37:43.820 She can 0.59

00:37:44.380 take care

00:37:44.780 of herself.

00:37:48.940 And,

00:37:49.140 you know,

00:37:49.520 this is

00:37:50.520 coming from

00:37:51.360 someone who

00:37:52.400 they're saying,

00:37:54.420 oh,

00:37:54.520 your daughter,

00:37:55.300 she can take

00:37:55.660 care of herself.

00:37:56.140 She doesn't

00:37:56.380 need to be

00:37:56.740 protected.

00:37:57.340 You don't

00:37:57.520 need to

00:37:57.800 infantilize her.

00:37:58.980 You're

00:37:59.200 infantilizing

00:37:59.900 your daughter

00:38:00.340 by trying to

00:38:01.380 stop grown

00:38:02.320 men in

00:38:03.340 dresses from

00:38:04.800 walking into

00:38:05.400 the bathroom

00:38:05.840 and potentially

00:38:06.500 abusing

00:38:07.540 them.

00:38:09.320 Meanwhile,

00:38:10.240 this same

00:38:10.780 person would

00:38:11.300 say,

00:38:12.000 I'm sure,

00:38:13.600 that if you

00:38:14.420 use the

00:38:15.380 wrong pronoun 0.94

00:38:16.040 in his

00:38:16.440 presence,

00:38:17.040 you're causing

00:38:17.640 him deep

00:38:18.140 psychological

00:38:18.720 and even

00:38:19.360 physical harm.

00:38:20.160 So,

00:38:23.500 here's what

00:38:24.220 he's actually

00:38:24.740 saying.

00:38:26.400 He's not

00:38:26.980 saying,

00:38:27.380 don't protect

00:38:28.300 your daughter.

00:38:29.860 Everyone can

00:38:30.420 handle

00:38:30.680 themselves.

00:38:31.820 That would

00:38:32.380 be bad

00:38:33.040 enough,

00:38:33.580 but at least

00:38:34.380 there'd be some

00:38:34.880 consistency to

00:38:35.540 that if his

00:38:36.720 message is,

00:38:37.320 well,

00:38:37.420 let everyone

00:38:37.740 take care of

00:38:38.140 themselves.

00:38:39.720 No,

00:38:40.200 what he's

00:38:40.480 saying is,

00:38:41.120 what this

00:38:41.440 man in the

00:38:41.900 dress and

00:38:42.480 the lipstick

00:38:42.820 and the

00:38:43.880 goofy makeup,

00:38:45.780 what he's

00:38:46.240 saying is,

00:38:46.920 he's looking at

00:38:47.720 you and saying,

00:38:48.160 no,

00:38:48.500 prioritize protecting

00:38:50.200 me instead

00:38:52.180 of your

00:38:52.640 daughter.

00:38:54.700 Prioritize

00:38:55.300 protecting my

00:38:56.720 emotional and

00:38:58.160 mental well-being

00:38:59.300 over the

00:39:00.260 physical health

00:39:01.380 and safety of

00:39:02.020 your daughter.

00:39:02.680 That's actually

00:39:03.560 what he's

00:39:03.920 saying.

00:39:07.340 And he

00:39:08.040 feels,

00:39:09.820 think about

00:39:11.320 where we are

00:39:11.720 in society,

00:39:12.340 that a man

00:39:13.100 would feel

00:39:13.740 comfortable.

00:39:15.440 It's one thing

00:39:16.040 to think that

00:39:16.700 way.

00:39:18.600 But the

00:39:19.100 man feels

00:39:19.480 comfortable

00:39:19.980 getting in

00:39:20.340 front of a

00:39:20.620 camera and

00:39:21.020 saying that

00:39:21.660 out loud.

00:39:24.800 Don't worry

00:39:25.320 about protecting

00:39:25.780 your daughter.

00:39:26.800 No,

00:39:27.220 it's me.

00:39:28.140 I'm the one

00:39:28.760 you should

00:39:28.980 worry about

00:39:29.460 how I

00:39:30.140 feel.

00:39:32.340 Because if

00:39:32.840 you make

00:39:33.120 me go in

00:39:33.900 the men's

00:39:34.540 bathroom,

00:39:34.880 I'm not

00:39:35.300 going to

00:39:35.500 feel good

00:39:35.900 about that.

00:39:36.260 I won't

00:39:36.680 feel good.

00:39:37.660 Your daughter

00:39:38.280 might not

00:39:38.680 feel good

00:39:39.080 with a

00:39:39.320 grown man

00:39:39.780 in the

00:39:40.060 bathroom

00:39:40.920 with him.

00:39:42.400 And she

00:39:42.860 might actually

00:39:43.200 be in

00:39:43.420 physical

00:39:43.700 danger.

00:39:44.180 But don't

00:39:44.560 worry about

00:39:44.860 that.

00:39:45.060 Worry about

00:39:45.300 me.

00:39:45.480 He

00:39:47.700 feels

00:39:47.860 perfectly

00:39:48.260 comfortable

00:39:48.620 sitting in

00:39:49.120 front of a

00:39:49.340 camera and

00:39:49.640 saying that

00:39:49.940 to the

00:39:50.140 public.

00:39:51.580 He

00:39:52.000 shouldn't.

00:39:53.620 Because that

00:39:54.140 is a

00:39:54.600 grotesque

00:39:55.420 sentiment,

00:39:59.840 to say the

00:40:00.280 very least.

00:40:01.500 All right,

00:40:01.920 crucial report

00:40:02.560 here from

00:40:03.100 BuzzFeed.

00:40:03.620 Beyonce and

00:40:04.280 Jay-Z are

00:40:04.740 the faces of

00:40:05.360 the new

00:40:05.680 Tiffany and

00:40:06.260 Company

00:40:06.580 About Love

00:40:07.460 campaign,

00:40:08.640 launching on

00:40:09.120 September 2nd.

00:40:09.800 In the

00:40:10.020 campaign,

00:40:10.520 the couple

00:40:10.820 is featured

00:40:11.180 in front of

00:40:11.540 a never-before-seen

00:40:12.420 painting from

00:40:13.520 Jean-Michael

00:40:14.320 Basquiat,

00:40:15.960 his private

00:40:16.820 collection,

00:40:17.500 and the

00:40:17.780 painting is

00:40:18.160 called

00:40:18.340 Equals

00:40:18.800 Pi.

00:40:20.200 For the

00:40:20.880 campaign,

00:40:21.420 the painting

00:40:21.700 has been

00:40:22.000 reimagined in

00:40:22.820 signature Tiffany

00:40:23.580 Blue,

00:40:24.180 and it was

00:40:24.540 reportedly

00:40:24.900 bought by

00:40:25.560 Tiffany's from

00:40:26.580 a private

00:40:27.000 seller.

00:40:27.960 And people

00:40:28.280 are upset

00:40:28.760 about this

00:40:29.460 because this

00:40:30.800 cherished

00:40:31.680 painting from

00:40:32.380 allegedly this

00:40:33.420 great artist

00:40:33.880 is being

00:40:34.600 used in

00:40:34.920 Tiffany's

00:40:35.420 ad campaign.

00:40:36.920 So let's

00:40:37.220 take a look

00:40:37.560 at this

00:40:37.800 thing here.

00:40:38.200 There is

00:40:38.480 the painting.

00:40:39.960 Never-before-seen.

00:40:41.220 This was in

00:40:41.600 a private

00:40:41.880 collection.

00:40:42.280 Now it's

00:40:42.520 being used

00:40:42.840 by Tiffany's.

00:40:44.680 And you

00:40:44.860 see there,

00:40:45.400 that's the...

00:40:46.380 Now this

00:40:46.740 guy,

00:40:48.160 his paintings

00:40:49.120 have sold

00:40:49.660 for hundreds

00:40:50.280 of millions

00:40:51.120 of dollars.

00:40:53.300 And this

00:40:53.940 is what we

00:40:54.300 get from

00:40:54.620 him.

00:40:55.800 That is

00:40:56.280 literally

00:40:57.060 just...

00:40:57.780 That's my

00:40:58.240 divider in

00:40:59.120 my binder in

00:40:59.880 seventh grade.

00:41:00.780 Random

00:41:01.220 doodles.

00:41:03.200 This is at

00:41:04.040 best the

00:41:04.860 collective work

00:41:05.740 of the

00:41:06.160 random graffiti

00:41:06.940 artists who

00:41:07.480 use a

00:41:08.160 rest stop

00:41:08.760 bathroom stall.

00:41:10.980 Just a

00:41:11.520 bunch of

00:41:11.820 people with

00:41:12.320 a pen

00:41:12.920 in hand.

00:41:13.560 Pen in

00:41:13.920 one hand,

00:41:14.560 you know,

00:41:14.760 the other

00:41:15.020 pen in

00:41:15.320 the other

00:41:15.500 hand,

00:41:16.140 scrawling

00:41:16.620 random

00:41:16.980 images on

00:41:17.480 a bathroom

00:41:17.820 stall.

00:41:18.080 That's

00:41:18.200 what that

00:41:18.440 is.

00:41:21.140 And if

00:41:21.640 that went

00:41:21.880 up for

00:41:22.100 sale,

00:41:22.320 it would

00:41:22.460 sell for

00:41:22.760 like $150

00:41:23.360 million,

00:41:23.920 I guarantee

00:41:24.240 it.

00:41:25.900 There's

00:41:26.280 modern art

00:41:26.680 for you.

00:41:27.620 All right,

00:41:27.900 moving on

00:41:28.280 now to

00:41:28.640 reading the

00:41:28.940 YouTube

00:41:29.120 comments.

00:41:29.580 This is

00:41:29.940 from Evan

00:41:30.640 says,

00:41:31.160 Matt,

00:41:31.360 if I only

00:41:31.660 watched your

00:41:32.200 show,

00:41:32.600 I think

00:41:32.880 all teachers

00:41:33.500 are either

00:41:33.960 gossiping

00:41:34.580 busybodies,

00:41:35.780 marginally

00:41:36.140 functional

00:41:36.540 alcoholics,

00:41:37.700 Ralph Wiggum

00:41:38.240 ladies, 1.00

00:41:38.900 social rejects

00:41:39.660 out for

00:41:39.940 revenge, 0.98

00:41:40.380 or pedophiles. 0.57

00:41:41.580 Unfortunately, 0.85

00:41:42.020 that's consistent

00:41:42.720 with my

00:41:43.220 observations

00:41:43.740 too.

00:41:44.140 Well, that

00:41:47.380 of course is,

00:41:48.640 for all the

00:41:49.120 grief I give

00:41:49.560 teachers,

00:41:50.000 that is not

00:41:50.480 actually an

00:41:52.320 accurate reflection

00:41:53.180 of all

00:41:53.800 teachers,

00:41:54.120 or even

00:41:54.440 most

00:41:54.720 teachers.

00:41:56.340 It's just

00:41:56.700 those are

00:41:57.580 the ones,

00:41:58.700 especially the

00:41:59.320 gossiping

00:41:59.760 busybodies and

00:42:00.780 all that,

00:42:01.900 those are the

00:42:02.240 ones who are

00:42:02.640 in public.

00:42:04.280 Those are the

00:42:04.800 ones getting

00:42:05.120 all the

00:42:05.460 attention,

00:42:06.900 which is why

00:42:07.640 I actually feel

00:42:08.080 bad for

00:42:08.400 teachers.

00:42:09.020 I feel bad

00:42:09.320 for the

00:42:09.540 good ones.

00:42:09.940 Same thing

00:42:11.920 for nurses

00:42:12.620 and doctors

00:42:13.260 and healthcare

00:42:13.780 providers.

00:42:14.900 The ones

00:42:15.520 getting all

00:42:15.940 the attention

00:42:16.420 are the ones

00:42:16.980 who want

00:42:17.480 all the

00:42:17.720 attention

00:42:18.040 in front

00:42:18.360 of cameras,

00:42:19.140 whining and

00:42:19.640 complaining and

00:42:20.140 so on and

00:42:20.580 so forth.

00:42:22.160 But it's

00:42:22.580 certainly not

00:42:22.940 everyone.

00:42:24.300 Another comment

00:42:24.900 says,

00:42:25.720 Matt, I love

00:42:26.240 watching the

00:42:26.660 other Daily

00:42:27.000 Wire hosts

00:42:27.500 pitch the

00:42:28.060 SBG anthem,

00:42:29.240 especially Ben.

00:42:30.200 He's clearly

00:42:30.660 galled at the

00:42:31.340 idea, but he

00:42:31.920 has to play

00:42:32.440 along.

00:42:33.600 Well, exactly.

00:42:34.220 It is all

00:42:34.680 according to

00:42:35.180 plan.

00:42:36.820 John says,

00:42:38.280 the life and

00:42:38.860 work of Kinsey

00:42:39.700 is one of

00:42:40.060 those things

00:42:40.640 you wish

00:42:41.260 that you

00:42:41.620 could unlearn.

00:42:43.120 Yeah, you

00:42:43.400 do wish you

00:42:43.780 could unlearn

00:42:44.140 it, but

00:42:44.400 I wish it

00:42:47.280 wasn't true

00:42:47.760 so we didn't

00:42:48.120 have to learn.

00:42:48.620 Maybe that's

00:42:48.940 how I would

00:42:49.260 put it.

00:42:51.660 But it is

00:42:52.260 true, and

00:42:52.560 this is

00:42:52.760 something,

00:42:53.300 it's a name

00:42:54.640 we should

00:42:54.960 all know,

00:42:55.520 and some

00:42:55.840 of the

00:42:56.060 basic facts

00:42:56.880 that I

00:42:57.220 gave about

00:42:58.000 Kinsey and

00:42:58.360 also John

00:42:58.760 Money yesterday,

00:42:59.980 these are the

00:43:00.300 basic facts we

00:43:00.840 should all

00:43:01.160 also know.

00:43:02.760 And when it

00:43:03.280 comes to

00:43:03.600 Kinsey, I

00:43:04.440 would encourage

00:43:04.980 you to go and

00:43:05.680 do your own

00:43:06.080 research on

00:43:06.660 this.

00:43:06.920 I barely

00:43:11.020 even scratched

00:43:11.840 the surface

00:43:12.400 because of

00:43:13.600 time constraints.

00:43:16.060 But what I

00:43:16.740 told you about

00:43:17.340 Kinsey, that's

00:43:18.080 not even the

00:43:19.380 worst of it,

00:43:20.240 if you can

00:43:21.240 imagine.

00:43:21.560 It actually gets

00:43:21.920 worse from

00:43:22.420 there, so I

00:43:22.840 would encourage

00:43:23.360 you to go

00:43:23.720 and do your

00:43:24.740 research because

00:43:25.280 like it or

00:43:26.200 not, and

00:43:26.860 none of us

00:43:27.660 do, at least

00:43:29.220 none of the

00:43:29.580 same people

00:43:30.000 do, we

00:43:30.640 live in a

00:43:31.080 country, in

00:43:32.460 a society, a

00:43:33.100 culture that

00:43:34.680 was built in

00:43:36.620 large part by

00:43:37.280 this man.

00:43:39.520 Chloe says, 0.98

00:43:40.380 Matt Walsh

00:43:40.840 goes to

00:43:41.240 Applebee's, I'm

00:43:42.060 offended.

00:43:43.060 I do go to

00:43:43.560 Applebee's, I

00:43:44.280 go to

00:43:44.480 Chili's, I

00:43:45.180 go to the, I

00:43:45.740 am an

00:43:46.120 unapologetic

00:43:48.080 defender of

00:43:49.940 chain

00:43:50.140 restaurants.

00:43:52.460 I think, you

00:43:53.360 know, I just

00:43:53.920 thought, I think

00:43:54.300 I've said

00:43:54.500 before, I

00:43:54.860 don't believe

00:43:55.540 all the people

00:43:56.160 who turn their

00:43:56.700 noses up at

00:43:57.380 these chain

00:43:57.760 restaurants, I

00:43:59.000 don't believe

00:43:59.360 that they hate

00:43:59.860 the restaurants

00:44:00.280 as much as

00:44:00.700 they say,

00:44:00.960 because it's

00:44:01.300 not the best

00:44:02.500 food in the

00:44:02.940 world, but

00:44:03.220 it's pretty

00:44:03.540 solid.

00:44:05.500 You usually

00:44:06.420 know what

00:44:06.900 you're going

00:44:07.140 to get, and

00:44:07.580 it'll be a

00:44:08.020 solid, like

00:44:08.660 any time you

00:44:09.040 go to

00:44:09.180 Applebee's or

00:44:09.640 Chili's, you're 1.00

00:44:10.020 going to get

00:44:10.300 a solid C

00:44:11.900 plus B

00:44:12.360 minus meal.

00:44:13.600 And you

00:44:14.020 know that, and

00:44:15.380 it's not

00:44:15.620 terrible.

00:44:20.460 Wider Ganger

00:44:21.360 says, Kinsey,

00:44:22.360 by the way, is

00:44:22.740 also a rather

00:44:23.200 interesting movie

00:44:24.080 starring Liam

00:44:24.600 Neeson.

00:44:24.860 I haven't

00:44:25.120 seen that

00:44:25.420 movie, but

00:44:25.920 from what I

00:44:26.380 understand, it

00:44:26.980 is an

00:44:27.300 enormous

00:44:27.620 whitewashing

00:44:28.340 exercise.

00:44:29.000 I don't

00:44:31.380 think that, from

00:44:32.180 what I've been

00:44:32.580 told, the Kinsey

00:44:33.340 movie does not

00:44:34.020 go into any of

00:44:34.920 the sordid

00:44:35.420 details that I

00:44:36.160 described, which

00:44:37.240 means it's really

00:44:37.720 not telling you

00:44:38.240 the story of

00:44:39.360 Kinsey at all.

00:44:40.140 Dante says, I

00:44:40.840 can't agree with

00:44:41.420 you on the

00:44:42.160 Ashley Babbitt

00:44:42.900 case.

00:44:43.180 I don't feel

00:44:43.560 bad that she

00:44:44.060 was shot dead. 1.00

00:44:45.140 You play stupid 1.00

00:44:45.780 games, you win 1.00

00:44:46.300 stupid prizes. 1.00

00:44:47.140 I don't believe 1.00

00:44:47.580 she should have

00:44:48.000 died, and I 0.99

00:44:48.680 think it's a

00:44:49.100 sad tragedy, but

00:44:50.420 she was doing

00:44:50.820 something incredibly 1.00

00:44:51.400 stupid, and if 1.00

00:44:52.660 I'm going to be in 1.00

00:44:53.080 favor of the

00:44:53.500 BLM and Antifa

00:44:54.240 terrorists getting

00:44:55.280 shot on site when

00:44:56.440 caught looting or

00:44:57.220 rioting, then I

00:44:59.000 have to be okay

00:44:59.840 with this.

00:45:02.560 Well, there's a

00:45:05.340 couple of issues

00:45:05.880 here.

00:45:06.140 First of all, one

00:45:08.200 of the problems is

00:45:08.760 a matter of

00:45:09.160 consistency.

00:45:10.620 That's why I

00:45:11.220 said they haven't

00:45:11.820 told us the name

00:45:12.600 of the officer.

00:45:13.500 They have not

00:45:13.760 officially released

00:45:14.380 the name of the

00:45:14.800 officer who shot

00:45:15.300 Ashley Babbitt.

00:45:16.800 I could be okay

00:45:17.940 with that if that's

00:45:19.060 how they approached

00:45:20.000 all of these kinds

00:45:20.960 of situations, but

00:45:22.300 in almost every

00:45:22.820 other situation you

00:45:23.500 can name where

00:45:24.020 there was a

00:45:24.320 controversial police

00:45:25.000 shooting, they 0.97

00:45:25.680 come out with the

00:45:26.240 name right away.

00:45:27.460 They tell us

00:45:27.820 everything they can

00:45:28.420 about this

00:45:28.760 person.

00:45:29.400 So there's the

00:45:30.100 inconsistency there.

00:45:33.080 And also, we

00:45:34.460 have not seen this

00:45:35.620 kind of aggressiveness,

00:45:37.700 this kind of lethal

00:45:39.960 force used against

00:45:41.600 rioters in any other 0.91

00:45:42.780 situation.

00:45:43.800 It's only in this

00:45:44.780 situation.

00:45:47.240 And yeah, she

00:45:47.940 shouldn't have been

00:45:48.380 there.

00:45:49.200 She should not have

00:45:49.760 been climbing through

00:45:50.660 the window. 1.00

00:45:51.300 It's a very stupid 1.00

00:45:51.920 thing to do. 1.00

00:45:52.560 Does that mean you

00:45:55.200 just, does that

00:45:56.040 justify someone in 0.68

00:45:57.020 shooting you dead 0.99

00:45:57.680 though because 1.00

00:45:58.040 you're doing 1.00

00:45:58.240 something stupid? 1.00

00:45:59.920 The question 1.00

00:46:00.600 really comes down

00:46:01.220 to, did that

00:46:04.660 officer have a

00:46:05.580 very good reason

00:46:06.260 to think that

00:46:07.720 Ashley Babbitt

00:46:08.560 posed a lethal

00:46:09.620 threat to him

00:46:11.280 or someone on

00:46:12.360 the other side of

00:46:12.860 that door?

00:46:14.200 Did he have good

00:46:14.700 reason to think

00:46:15.220 that his only

00:46:15.880 option was to 1.00

00:46:16.720 kill this person? 1.00

00:46:17.420 Now, we're not 0.99

00:46:21.040 fully able to

00:46:21.840 analyze that

00:46:22.640 question or come

00:46:23.400 to a conclusion

00:46:24.120 because they've

00:46:25.360 never told us

00:46:26.120 really what his

00:46:26.560 side of the story

00:46:27.080 is.

00:46:27.260 We haven't heard

00:46:27.660 from him.

00:46:29.100 We haven't seen

00:46:29.900 any security

00:46:30.340 camera footage.

00:46:30.880 There's a lot of

00:46:31.240 information we

00:46:31.820 don't have.

00:46:32.340 They're not

00:46:32.580 telling us.

00:46:33.600 The fact that

00:46:34.220 they're not

00:46:34.600 telling us makes

00:46:35.240 me suspect that

00:46:38.120 the information

00:46:40.240 we're not being

00:46:40.700 told would not

00:46:41.620 vindicate the

00:46:42.220 officer because if

00:46:42.720 it would, they

00:46:43.180 would tell us.

00:46:45.540 If, for example,

00:46:46.300 there were some

00:46:46.620 kind of security

00:46:47.140 camera footage

00:46:47.860 that clearly

00:46:49.920 vindicated the

00:46:50.620 officer in his

00:46:51.280 actions, then I

00:46:51.960 would assume we

00:46:52.460 would see that by

00:46:53.180 now.

00:46:53.360 They would have

00:46:53.620 shown it to us.

00:46:56.820 So we are

00:46:57.700 handicapped a little

00:46:58.600 bit in trying to

00:46:59.480 analyze this, but

00:47:00.080 based on what we

00:47:00.760 see, I don't see

00:47:03.240 how you justify

00:47:03.700 that.

00:47:03.940 I don't see how

00:47:04.620 he could have

00:47:05.040 really believed

00:47:05.740 that he had no

00:47:06.400 choice but to 0.99

00:47:07.820 shoot this person 1.00

00:47:08.460 dead, especially 1.00

00:47:11.420 when she's a

00:47:12.080 woman, unarmed.

00:47:15.100 I mean, you can

00:47:15.500 see her climbing

00:47:16.280 over the window

00:47:16.840 so she's got

00:47:17.240 nothing in her

00:47:17.680 hands, climbing

00:47:19.440 over the window.

00:47:20.460 She's surrounded

00:47:21.220 at all sides by

00:47:22.240 armed people.

00:47:23.920 This guy, he's

00:47:24.580 not even the

00:47:25.000 only armed

00:47:25.980 officer on the

00:47:27.140 other side of

00:47:27.500 the door in

00:47:27.780 that hallway.

00:47:28.220 There are other

00:47:28.540 ones there.

00:47:29.680 There's armed

00:47:30.460 police officers

00:47:31.180 coming up the

00:47:31.760 stairs behind her.

00:47:32.420 She's completely

00:47:32.920 surrounded.

00:47:35.420 It's really hard

00:47:36.240 for me to believe

00:47:36.760 that he could have

00:47:37.460 honestly thought

00:47:38.780 and reasonably

00:47:40.120 thought that he

00:47:41.260 had no choice 1.00

00:47:41.980 but to shoot her 1.00

00:47:42.480 dead. 1.00

00:47:44.760 He could have

00:47:45.320 just come over

00:47:45.900 to her and

00:47:46.280 grabbed her and

00:47:47.060 thrown her to 1.00

00:47:47.460 the ground.

00:47:49.040 And he could

00:47:49.540 have been as

00:47:49.940 rough about that

00:47:50.520 as he wanted

00:47:50.840 to be.

00:47:53.500 So I just, I

00:47:54.280 don't see it

00:47:54.620 personally.

00:47:55.720 You know, on

00:47:56.200 Monday, the FDA

00:47:57.240 announced approval

00:47:58.140 of the Pfizer

00:47:59.100 vaccine.

00:47:59.660 As if on cue,

00:48:00.400 Joe Biden

00:48:00.740 decided that it

00:48:01.640 was the right

00:48:02.020 time to urge

00:48:02.680 private companies

00:48:03.380 to mandate

00:48:03.980 vaccines for

00:48:04.760 their employees.

00:48:05.760 After the mess

00:48:06.380 he left in

00:48:06.760 Afghanistan, I

00:48:07.240 think it's an

00:48:07.520 appropriate time to

00:48:08.180 question his

00:48:08.720 actions and

00:48:09.580 I'm not sure

00:48:09.880 there's a better

00:48:10.260 place to do

00:48:11.460 that than on

00:48:12.300 backstage with

00:48:13.080 myself, Ben

00:48:13.740 Shapiro, Jeremy

00:48:14.260 Boring, Michael

00:48:14.740 Knowles, and

00:48:15.120 Andrew Klavan.

00:48:15.860 We're going to

00:48:16.180 have another

00:48:16.720 debate and

00:48:18.220 another conversation

00:48:19.040 as a whole lot

00:48:20.080 to talk about.

00:48:20.540 So make sure

00:48:20.780 you tune in

00:48:21.100 for that.

00:48:21.800 It streams

00:48:22.200 this Thursday

00:48:29.740 want to miss

00:48:31.760 anthem yet,

00:48:32.760 then you'll be

00:48:40.180 your life.

00:48:41.220 You'll tell

00:48:41.500 your grandchildren

00:48:42.260 about the day.

00:48:43.020 Oh, I could

00:48:43.500 have been the

00:48:44.020 one who wrote

00:48:45.620 the sweet baby

00:48:46.180 anthem.

00:48:46.760 Coulda, woulda,

00:48:47.380 shoulda.

00:48:47.700 Now's your

00:48:59.920 But you, the

00:49:08.680 So do it right

00:49:09.200 now.

00:49:10.100 We have an

00:49:10.740 incredibly exciting

00:49:11.500 announcement to

00:49:12.020 share today.

00:49:12.540 Deadline Hollywood

00:49:13.200 just announced the

00:49:13.920 details and an

00:49:14.860 exclusive photo of

00:49:15.820 the Daily Wire's

00:49:16.460 first original film

00:49:17.760 called Shut In,

00:49:18.700 directed by DJ

00:49:19.460 Caruso and

00:49:20.100 executive produced

00:49:20.700 by Daily Wire

00:49:21.200 co-founders.

00:49:22.620 Production on the

00:49:23.820 thriller wrapped

00:49:24.560 this weekend and

00:49:25.400 will be available to

00:49:26.100 Daily Wire members

00:49:26.680 beginning in

00:49:27.200 January 2022.

00:49:28.500 The film is

00:49:28.920 centered around a

00:49:29.540 young single mother

00:49:30.240 who's barricaded

00:49:31.440 inside a pantry by

00:49:32.360 her violent ex-boyfriend

00:49:33.340 while using nothing

00:49:34.060 but her voice to

00:49:34.880 guide her two

00:49:35.440 small children to

00:49:36.420 escape escalating

00:49:37.320 danger.

00:49:37.720 It's an intense,

00:49:38.720 suspenseful thriller

00:49:39.620 that delivers riveting

00:49:40.880 action without missing

00:49:41.680 a single beat.

00:49:42.320 The trailer for Shut

00:49:42.960 In will be out very

00:49:43.720 soon and we know

00:49:44.620 our members will

00:49:45.120 love this film.

00:49:46.000 We entered the

00:49:46.420 entertainment space in

00:49:47.200 order to send

00:49:47.720 Hollywood a message

00:49:48.600 that you no longer

00:49:49.860 have a monopoly on

00:49:50.500 the film industry and

00:49:51.260 the release of Shut

00:49:52.020 In is just the next

00:49:53.120 step in proving it.

00:49:54.500 So you've got to

00:49:55.140 make sure you're

00:49:55.700 around to check that

00:49:56.400 out.

00:49:56.680 Now let's get to

00:49:57.140 our daily

00:49:57.420 cancellation.

00:49:57.780 In this troubled

00:50:02.380 and extraordinarily 1.00

00:50:03.200 stupid age, we can 1.00

00:50:04.240 always count on two 1.00

00:50:05.240 things come

00:50:06.020 summertime.

00:50:06.700 One is that we'll

00:50:07.840 be told by the

00:50:08.520 media and various

00:50:09.460 hectoring voices on

00:50:10.420 the internet that

00:50:11.080 global warming is to

00:50:11.980 blame for the high

00:50:12.600 temperatures and the

00:50:14.660 thousands across the

00:50:16.120 world are dying

00:50:16.820 because of it.

00:50:17.860 And the other is that

00:50:18.840 those same people in

00:50:19.840 the media and those

00:50:20.620 same hectoring voices

00:50:21.400 will insist that

00:50:22.660 although we are all

00:50:23.380 allegedly boiling to

00:50:24.420 death, we must not

00:50:26.100 use air conditioning

00:50:26.920 because air conditioning

00:50:27.780 is evil.

00:50:29.020 Why is it evil?

00:50:29.880 Well, the fun thing

00:50:30.480 is to find out what

00:50:31.580 reasons they'll give

00:50:32.420 at any given time.

00:50:35.100 All they know to

00:50:35.820 begin with is that

00:50:36.480 air conditioning

00:50:36.960 exists and it was

00:50:38.440 invented by a white

00:50:39.180 person and it makes

00:50:40.640 people happy and it

00:50:42.100 makes life more

00:50:42.660 enjoyable and so it

00:50:44.060 must be bad.

00:50:45.180 The writer Eric Dean

00:50:46.100 Wilson is one of the

00:50:46.980 latest to take a stab

00:50:48.000 explaining why air

00:50:49.060 conditioning is a

00:50:49.640 form of sorcery.

00:50:50.780 He wrote a whole book

00:50:51.460 on the subject actually

00:50:52.100 published in July

00:50:53.080 titled After Cooling

00:50:55.860 on Freon Global

00:50:56.920 Warming and the

00:50:57.920 Terrible Cost of

00:50:58.840 Comfort.

00:51:00.160 Now, I can't tell you

00:51:00.820 exactly what the book

00:51:01.580 says because I'd rather 0.99

00:51:02.440 be decapitated by a 0.91

00:51:03.500 butter knife than read 0.70

00:51:04.240 it, but I did skim a

00:51:05.660 Seattle Times interview

00:51:06.460 with the author and

00:51:07.880 the first question in

00:51:08.960 that interview, I'm not

00:51:09.620 making this up, the

00:51:10.840 first question is, how

00:51:12.460 was the public sold on

00:51:13.680 the idea that feeling

00:51:14.620 comfortable was okay?

00:51:17.300 Yeah, how dare the

00:51:18.080 public feel comfortable,

00:51:19.540 especially without

00:51:20.160 asking Eric Dean

00:51:20.960 Wilson first? 0.71

00:51:22.600 Well, Wilson explains that

00:51:23.940 comfort is a capitalist

00:51:25.080 conspiracy and then he

00:51:26.320 goes on to talk about

00:51:27.140 how air conditioning

00:51:27.920 has increased racial

00:51:29.460 inequality and has

00:51:30.400 become, and I quote,

00:51:31.740 a pretty insidious

00:51:32.740 tool for racial

00:51:33.620 segregation.

00:51:34.980 It's also destroying

00:51:35.960 the planet and causing

00:51:37.080 temperatures to rise, he

00:51:38.140 insists. 1.00

00:51:39.580 Now, here I am stupid 0.99

00:51:40.780 enough to think that the 0.99

00:51:41.800 giant ball of gas in the

00:51:43.180 sky burning at 27

00:51:44.400 million degrees and

00:51:45.360 exerting enough

00:51:45.900 gravitational force to

00:51:46.860 influence objects

00:51:47.560 floating in space 12

00:51:48.440 trillion miles away is

00:51:49.600 really the driver of

00:51:50.500 temperature and climate on

00:51:51.500 our puny planet, but I'm

00:51:52.480 wrong again.

00:51:53.820 Your HVAC unit is really

00:51:55.760 responsible.

00:51:57.380 So, air conditioning is

00:51:58.700 racist and it's killing

00:52:00.200 the planet. 0.76

00:52:01.100 It's also sexist, we've

00:52:02.640 been told.

00:52:03.180 The writer Taylor Lorenz

00:52:04.420 has described air

00:52:05.320 conditioning as unhealthy,

00:52:06.720 bad, miserable, and 0.99

00:52:08.100 sexist. 1.00

00:52:09.440 Many other female writers 0.99

00:52:10.520 have joined the chorus

00:52:11.320 explaining that air

00:52:12.940 conditioning is a

00:52:13.720 misogynistic plot,

00:52:15.440 basically, because women 1.00

00:52:17.000 tend to feel cold and AC

00:52:20.180 units and offices are often

00:52:21.360 set at temperatures that

00:52:22.160 are uncomfortable for the

00:52:23.260 fairer sex.

00:52:24.920 Now, that may be

00:52:25.740 generally true, but look,

00:52:27.120 sorry, ladies, you need 1.00

00:52:28.280 to suck it up on this 0.88

00:52:29.120 one because if you're

00:52:29.920 cold, here's the way

00:52:31.540 this breaks down.

00:52:33.040 If you're cold, you can

00:52:34.980 always put on a sweater.

00:52:36.660 If I'm hot, I can only

00:52:38.980 take off so many items of

00:52:40.460 clothing before you start

00:52:41.580 calling the police.

00:52:42.700 So, this is why the

00:52:43.760 warmest person in the

00:52:45.480 home or in the office gets

00:52:47.240 to decide where the AC is

00:52:48.400 set.

00:52:49.180 Those are the rules.

00:52:50.280 I didn't make them up.

00:52:51.000 Well, I did make them up,

00:52:52.460 but even so, they are the

00:52:53.380 rules.

00:52:54.580 But we aren't done yet.

00:52:55.880 A recent viral video

00:52:57.300 brings us back to the

00:52:58.400 racist element of air

00:52:59.620 conditioning, and let's

00:53:01.020 hear how they make the

00:53:02.060 case.

00:53:02.260 Here it is.

00:53:02.700 So many reasons I can

00:53:04.020 think of off the top of my

00:53:05.080 head why Americans are 0.76

00:53:06.100 addicted to air

00:53:07.240 conditioning.

00:53:07.740 So many reasons, but

00:53:08.620 the most infuriating one is

00:53:10.140 that our buildings are

00:53:10.980 built wrong.

00:53:11.940 In a great stitch, Desiree

00:53:13.160 Stevens talked about how

00:53:14.060 it was because of white 0.86

00:53:14.760 supremacy and colonialism.

00:53:16.280 Indigenous people had 1.00

00:53:17.380 air conditioning through

00:53:18.780 streams of water built

00:53:19.960 underneath the ground, or

00:53:21.120 in ways that worked with

00:53:21.840 natural landscapes such as

00:53:22.820 building in the shade.

00:53:23.840 And there are so many

00:53:24.700 more examples from what

00:53:25.720 we call vernacular

00:53:26.620 architecture.

00:53:27.600 For example, wind

00:53:28.520 catchers from Iran, a 0.77

00:53:29.800 famously hot place.

00:53:30.820 These were incredibly

00:53:31.720 effective cooling

00:53:32.420 systems.

00:53:33.100 These traditional Malay

00:53:34.060 houses are designed to

00:53:35.100 be porous that allow for

00:53:36.380 cross ventilation.

00:53:37.600 Here's another self

00:53:38.480 ventilating house from

00:53:39.560 southern Turkey.

00:53:40.480 So if the colonizers had

00:53:41.900 not killed everybody and

00:53:43.460 learned how they could

00:53:44.300 naturally cool their

00:53:45.240 buildings, we might not

00:53:46.640 need air conditioning.

00:53:47.480 So when y'all are like,

00:53:48.820 oh, it doesn't matter

00:53:49.500 the field of architecture

00:53:50.400 is based in white

00:53:51.300 supremacy, it's still

00:53:52.280 like great design.

00:53:53.760 It's bad design because

00:53:55.380 we have to burn oil to

00:53:56.500 not get heat stroke to 1.00

00:53:57.540 live in these stupid 1.00

00:53:58.240 buildings because you 1.00

00:53:59.460 won't respect vernacular

00:54:00.840 architecture.

00:54:03.000 Okay, so let me interject

00:54:04.400 a few things here.

00:54:05.940 First, why are Americans 0.84

00:54:07.620 addicted to air

00:54:08.200 conditioning?

00:54:08.520 Well, because it's

00:54:09.080 great.

00:54:09.600 It's wonderful.

00:54:10.360 It is one of the

00:54:11.500 objectively good, superior

00:54:13.240 things about modern

00:54:14.280 society.

00:54:14.660 It is one modern

00:54:16.260 invention that actually

00:54:17.240 has no downside.

00:54:19.220 The only downside to

00:54:20.120 air conditioning is if

00:54:20.820 you don't have it.

00:54:22.040 And if you don't, I

00:54:23.520 mean, I don't know what

00:54:23.920 to say.

00:54:24.240 You got to go get

00:54:24.680 yourself some of this

00:54:25.300 because it's magical.

00:54:26.700 You're missing out.

00:54:28.160 As for the supposedly

00:54:29.260 superior forms of

00:54:30.320 primitive air

00:54:30.760 conditioning, yeah,

00:54:31.720 before air conditioning,

00:54:32.540 people in the hotter

00:54:33.260 areas of the world would

00:54:34.180 sometimes live under

00:54:34.980 cliffs or in caves.

00:54:36.640 The lady in the video 1.00

00:54:37.600 laments that we're no

00:54:38.580 longer cave dwellers,

00:54:39.840 even though there are

00:54:40.420 still plenty of

00:54:41.060 uninhabited caves in

00:54:41.940 the world, and she's

00:54:43.080 more than free to take

00:54:44.140 up residence in any

00:54:44.920 one of them where

00:54:46.000 she can experience the

00:54:47.000 pure, more organic

00:54:48.080 form of cooling, along

00:54:49.100 with the pure, organic

00:54:50.600 bats and spiders and

00:54:51.860 snakes who will all be

00:54:52.880 her roommates, I'm sure.

00:54:54.720 But do you know what

00:54:55.560 people mainly did before

00:54:56.780 air conditioning?

00:54:58.620 They suffered.

00:54:59.860 And they sweat.

00:55:01.200 And they smelled

00:55:01.780 terrible, one can

00:55:02.680 assume.

00:55:03.440 And they died of

00:55:04.020 heat stroke a lot.

00:55:05.860 It's true that

00:55:06.620 domiciles of all types

00:55:08.000 were built back in

00:55:08.840 those days to

00:55:09.740 accommodate the heat

00:55:10.700 as best they could,

00:55:12.020 whereas homes today

00:55:12.760 are not built to

00:55:13.560 accommodate the heat

00:55:14.280 because the assumption

00:55:14.960 is that we'll all have

00:55:16.040 air conditioning like

00:55:16.760 civilized people.

00:55:17.960 But emphasis is on the

00:55:19.160 phrase as best they

00:55:20.260 could.

00:55:21.160 It was still very hot

00:55:22.320 and uncomfortable and

00:55:23.140 gross and smelly.

00:55:24.860 Anyone who spent time in 0.89

00:55:25.940 the warmer parts of the

00:55:26.960 world where air

00:55:27.520 conditioning is still

00:55:28.320 scarce can attest to

00:55:30.160 that fact.

00:55:31.820 But what we really see

00:55:32.940 with this kind of thing

00:55:33.720 is how white supremacy

00:55:34.780 is so often recommended

00:55:37.380 by the people who are

00:55:39.120 trying to condemn it.

00:55:40.660 Now, I don't believe that

00:55:41.920 white supremacy gave us

00:55:42.900 air conditioning.

00:55:43.580 I believe that credit

00:55:44.260 goes to a guy named

00:55:45.020 Willis Carrier in

00:55:45.980 Pittsburgh in 1902.

00:55:47.660 But if white supremacy

00:55:48.720 did give us air

00:55:49.700 conditioning, well, then

00:55:50.480 I guess that's at least

00:55:51.280 one good thing about 0.56

00:55:52.160 white supremacy. 0.98

00:55:54.040 Thank you, white 0.98

00:55:54.740 supremacy, for that one, 0.67

00:55:55.680 I guess.

00:55:56.760 See, the ironic

00:55:57.360 consequence of tying

00:55:58.340 everything back to

00:55:59.100 white supremacy is that

00:56:00.240 you end up making it

00:56:01.080 sound like not such a

00:56:02.080 bad thing after all.

00:56:03.840 The left now will

00:56:04.920 blame white supremacy

00:56:05.940 for everything from

00:56:06.760 air conditioning, too.

00:56:07.640 If you recall that

00:56:08.220 graphic on the

00:56:09.000 Smithsonian National

00:56:09.740 Museum of African

00:56:11.000 American History

00:56:11.600 website a while back,

00:56:12.840 they also blame it

00:56:13.440 for hard work,

00:56:14.440 objectivity,

00:56:15.200 rational thinking.

00:56:15.880 This is all white 1.00

00:56:16.540 supremacy.

00:56:18.120 So does that mean

00:56:18.940 that it's white

00:56:19.600 supremacy which enables

00:56:20.700 us to sit in a cool

00:56:21.840 living room on a

00:56:22.560 summer day and have

00:56:23.360 an interesting,

00:56:24.100 rational conversation

00:56:24.940 with our friends?

00:56:26.340 That's not my claim,

00:56:27.860 but it would seem to

00:56:29.100 be the claim of the

00:56:29.900 very people who

00:56:30.520 imagine themselves to

00:56:31.300 be battling against

00:56:32.180 white supremacy.

00:56:33.340 It's an interesting

00:56:34.180 combat strategy,

00:56:35.160 isn't it?

00:56:36.160 White supremacy is 1.00

00:56:36.880 evil and it's 1.00

00:56:37.520 everywhere and it's

00:56:38.440 also the reason why

00:56:39.140 your home is

00:56:39.560 comfortable and you

00:56:40.320 aren't dying of

00:56:40.840 heat stroke.

00:56:41.880 Isn't this bad?

00:56:44.140 I mean, are you

00:56:44.580 sure it's evil then?

00:56:46.000 Sounds kind of nice

00:56:46.780 by your telling.

00:56:48.680 The other problem,

00:56:49.600 of course, is the

00:56:50.180 familiar one that the

00:56:50.980 people complaining

00:56:51.640 about modern

00:56:52.100 conveniences like

00:56:52.800 air conditioning,

00:56:53.820 not just complaining

00:56:54.860 about them but

00:56:55.440 labeling them wicked 0.76

00:56:56.240 and racist and 0.95

00:56:56.980 deadly, most certainly

00:56:58.900 do not forgo those

00:57:00.160 conveniences themselves.

00:57:02.200 I could actually

00:57:03.180 somewhat respect

00:57:04.260 someone who thinks

00:57:05.080 that AC is a

00:57:06.640 Nazi conspiracy if

00:57:08.780 they lived by those

00:57:09.780 convictions and chose

00:57:10.680 to roast in the

00:57:11.540 summertime or go

00:57:12.360 live in a vernacular

00:57:13.440 mud hut under a

00:57:14.380 cliff or in a hole

00:57:15.500 underground or

00:57:16.120 something.

00:57:17.220 I can almost

00:57:18.060 respect any

00:57:18.980 principle, maybe not

00:57:20.400 agree with it but

00:57:21.020 respect it to some

00:57:21.860 degree, if the

00:57:22.960 person professing it

00:57:23.960 also endeavors to

00:57:25.080 live according to it.

00:57:25.960 But the people who

00:57:26.500 allegedly hate all of

00:57:27.980 the technology bequeathed

00:57:29.080 to them by Western

00:57:30.240 civilization never

00:57:31.700 choose to forfeit

00:57:32.620 any of it.

00:57:34.100 They enjoy the luxury

00:57:35.340 and comfort these

00:57:36.080 things provide to them

00:57:37.060 while whining about

00:57:37.820 how evil and terrible

00:57:38.680 all of it is.

00:57:39.860 This is a far

00:57:40.820 reaching problem

00:57:41.500 actually in our

00:57:42.100 society and it's

00:57:42.580 not just on the

00:57:43.120 left.

00:57:44.380 Very few people

00:57:45.200 really make any

00:57:46.060 attempt to live

00:57:46.940 according to their

00:57:47.500 professed value

00:57:48.240 systems which means

00:57:49.360 that everybody is

00:57:50.140 arguing with each

00:57:50.900 other and defending

00:57:51.680 worldviews that they

00:57:52.860 don't really subscribe

00:57:53.840 to and whose

00:57:55.440 implications they

00:57:56.180 don't understand

00:57:56.780 because they have

00:57:57.280 never tried to put

00:57:58.040 it into practice.

00:57:59.920 This is not just a

00:58:01.100 problem with air

00:58:01.580 conditioning critics

00:58:02.220 but they are

00:58:03.320 certainly among the

00:58:03.960 most egregious

00:58:04.580 examples.

00:58:06.320 And for that

00:58:06.660 reason I can

00:58:08.180 declare from my

00:58:09.060 cool climate

00:58:09.940 controlled studio

00:58:10.680 that they are all

00:58:12.340 today canceled.

00:58:14.740 And we'll leave it

00:58:15.440 there for today.

00:58:16.820 watching.

00:58:17.520 Thanks for listening.

00:59:16.820 White House tries to
