00:00:09.100 Now, how could they instate a policy like this right on the heels of the Loudoun County scandal where a girl was raped in a bathroom by a boy in a dress?

00:01:52.440 So the kids who attend Chicago public schools don't have it easy.
00:01:57.920 They live in one of the most violence and crime-ridden places in the country.
00:02:01.740 As of November 1st, 678 people had been murdered in the city, outpacing the murder rate from 2020, which was itself historically high.
00:02:10.380 Homelessness is also on the rise, along with drug abuse and nearly every marker of societal disintegration.
00:02:16.420 The poverty rate in Chicago is 20%.
00:02:18.720 These dire conditions can be felt in the school system itself, where the violence from the street often spills into the hallways and the classrooms, as you might expect.
00:02:28.120 The schools are so infected and surrounded by violence that many students are scared to walk home at the end of the day.
00:02:33.520 Earlier this year, two 15-year-old students at one Chicago school were shot and killed in separate shootings on the same day near the school they attended.
00:02:41.020 This is what it's like to attend class inside a war zone, basically.
00:02:46.780 Academically, Chicago schools are subpar at best.
00:02:50.100 Their elementary-age students are below the national average in both math and reading.
00:02:54.160 The situation is so bad that the school system brags about a graduation rate of only 82%, also considerably below the national average.
00:03:02.720 Granted, it's an improvement from the catastrophic 60% graduation rate of 2007, but still not very good.
00:03:10.960 All in all, suffice it to say that Chicago public schools have problems, major problems, and they aren't focused on solving any of them.
00:03:19.700 Instead, the district has set inclusivity as one of its primary goals, and it most especially wants to impose inclusivity in the bathrooms.
00:03:27.320 Now, as a normal and sane person, you have probably been inside hundreds of public restrooms and never once thought to yourself that the environment needed to be more inclusive.
00:03:36.940 It's likely that you have never looked around and said,
00:03:40.360 I really wish there was a more diverse array of people peeing alongside me.
00:03:45.540 You may take note of many other improvements that can be made inside any particular public restroom,
00:03:50.160 most of them hygiene and sanitation-related, but diversity and inclusivity were probably not among them.
00:03:55.920 But the Chicago public school system, like so many other school systems, is not run by people like you.
00:04:01.860 It's run by weirdos and predators and perverts who have never met a heteronormative, quote-unquote,
00:04:07.400 arrangement that they don't want to dismantle.
00:04:10.100 And that's why the district announced this week that all bathrooms in all of its schools,
00:04:13.680 at every grade level, will be made gender-neutral from henceforward.
00:04:17.560 They proudly released a video where Cammie Pratt and Deb Spragans,
00:04:21.780 their top Title IX officers and chief groomers, announced the change.
00:04:26.980 Let's watch this.
00:04:31.160 Hello, everyone. I'm Cammie Pratt, the district's chief Title IX officer.
00:04:35.180 And I'm Deb Spragans, the district's deputy chief Title IX officer.
00:04:38.980 The new school year is off to a strong start as we've welcomed our students back to our school buildings five days each week.
00:04:44.680 On top of ensuring that each of our schools is a safe learning environment,
00:04:49.280 we're also taking steps to create more inclusive and supportive schools.
00:04:53.700 One change that will be implemented this school year relates to our school bathrooms.
00:04:58.740 In compliance with new federal guidelines, all CPS students and staff will have fair and equitable access
00:05:05.300 to bathroom facilities that align with their gender identity.
00:05:08.820 We will be providing all schools with updated signage that makes our bathrooms more inclusive.
00:05:15.280 It will identify the fixtures available in each restroom and make it clear that all restrooms are open for use by anyone who feels comfortable.
00:05:24.020 Staff will continue to have staff-only restrooms available to them.
00:05:27.640 This is an incredibly important step to increase gender equity for all,
00:05:31.920 which is why we will be requiring all schools to post this signage by December 1st of this school year.
00:05:38.820 Our district's Office of Student Protections in Title IX is also working on a long-term plan
00:05:44.340 to create more permanent signage for our bathrooms.
00:05:48.140 I encourage you to visit our website at cps.edu forward slash OSP
00:05:53.280 to learn more about our comprehensive approach to creating more inclusive, equitable, and safe schools.
00:05:59.120 If you have any questions, you can email us at osp at cps.edu.
00:06:04.840 We look forward to having a safe and successful school year
00:06:08.500 at every school in every neighborhood across Chicago.
00:06:12.820 Thank you.
00:06:15.020 And to make the dystopian feel, you know, the dystopian theme to make it complete,
00:06:20.120 of course, we have in the video footage of kids walking around with masks on their face.
00:06:24.140 The signage on the bathrooms will read Boys Plus and Girls Plus
00:06:28.820 with a note indicating that, quote,
00:06:30.500 all who feel comfortable are welcome to use this restroom.
00:06:32.980 This, of course, does not take into account the fact that for most well-adjusted people,
00:06:38.160 their comfort level in the bathroom depends on who else is allowed to use it.
00:06:43.180 Most girls feel comfortable using the girls' restroom because there will only be girls inside it.
00:06:49.760 These girls will not feel comfortable if anyone else,
00:06:52.620 if anyone else who feels comfortable, regardless of sex, is allowed to join them.
00:06:56.780 The upshot is that normal girls with a normal desire for privacy and safety
00:07:01.240 will not feel comfortable anywhere now in Chicago public schools.
00:07:05.200 There is no restroom for them to use.
00:07:08.040 For the sake of providing comfort to the tiny minority of gender nonconformists,
00:07:12.980 the comfort of everybody else must be sacrificed.
00:07:15.820 For normal girls, that is, cis girls, as they're now called,
00:07:19.100 in an effort to marginalize normalcy,
00:07:21.420 the signs ought to simply say,
00:07:22.920 go to hell, we don't care about you.
00:07:24.380 Because, after all, that is the message.
00:07:27.620 This is not about comfort, generally speaking,
00:07:29.800 and it's not about being inclusive or tolerant.
00:07:32.160 If the policy was motivated by those desires, I'd still oppose it
00:07:35.860 because inclusivity, tolerance, and comfort cannot be the overriding concerns in a bathroom
00:07:41.280 or really anywhere else in life.
00:07:43.800 But as it happens, those are not the concerns here at all.
00:07:47.760 As always, the predators and groomers are using these nice-sounding words
00:07:51.480 as window dressing for their true agenda.
00:07:53.760 In this case, the real point is to institute a social hierarchy
00:07:57.140 where the desires of the uber victims, those in the LGBT camp, especially trans people,
00:08:02.040 are placed explicitly above the needs of those who are their inferiors.
00:08:08.000 Normal girls and boys are punished for being normal.
00:08:12.020 These are basically punitive measures.
00:08:16.120 These punitive measures have, by design,
00:08:18.460 a sort of, if-you-can't-beat-em-join-em effect after a while.
00:08:21.380 Kids are so immersed in gender ideology,
00:08:23.860 so subject to its commands, even in bathrooms,
00:08:26.460 that eventually they're worn down,
00:08:28.400 and they learn to accept it,
00:08:29.460 and then, after a while, embrace it.
00:08:32.520 You've probably already taken note of the timing
00:08:34.440 of this bathroom policy change in Chicago.
00:08:36.680 It comes directly on the heels of a major national scandal,
00:08:41.060 Loudoun County, that we uncovered here at The Daily Wire,
00:08:43.360 where a girl was brutally raped inside a girl's bathroom
00:08:45.740 by a boy in a dress.
00:08:47.780 Now, some on social media have said that they can't believe
00:08:50.560 that Chicago would instate this policy
00:08:52.480 in spite of what happened in Virginia.
00:08:55.500 But they're wrong.
00:08:57.020 Chicago is not doing this now
00:08:58.440 in spite of the Loudoun County scandal.
00:09:01.160 They're doing it now because of that scandal.
00:09:03.960 The groomers and predators and brainwashers of children
00:09:06.520 are not backing away in shame
00:09:08.580 because that happened.
00:09:10.860 They certainly won't change course
00:09:12.600 out of any concern for the safety of children.
00:09:14.540 They don't care if kids are raped in the bathroom.
00:09:16.620 They don't care.
00:09:18.560 They only care if the raping
00:09:20.540 becomes inconvenient to the trans agenda.
00:09:23.580 The well-being of children
00:09:24.780 is not a priority at all.
00:09:27.540 It does not factor into the equation.
00:09:30.660 They don't think about it.
00:09:33.500 And that is not an exaggeration.
00:09:36.200 I guarantee you, in Chicago,
00:09:37.840 when they were coming up with this policy
00:09:39.040 and talking about it,
00:09:40.540 no one even said,
00:09:43.760 well, are we worried about girls,
00:09:45.740 their well-being?
00:09:47.040 I mean, are we worried about their safety?
00:09:51.000 What if they end up getting abused
00:09:52.680 or raped in the bathroom?
00:09:54.000 That's not an issue.
00:09:55.460 They don't care.
00:09:56.000 What matters
00:09:58.800 is that every aspect of student life
00:10:01.240 conforms with the demands
00:10:02.460 of leftist ideology
00:10:03.520 and especially gender ideology,
00:10:05.260 and any amount of suffering
00:10:06.620 is a worthy trade
00:10:07.820 towards that end.
00:10:10.260 That's why Chicago is doing this now.
00:10:11.940 They're doubling down.
00:10:13.300 They're sending a message
00:10:14.420 to the domestic terrorists,
00:10:16.160 i.e. parents who value
00:10:17.280 their children's safety and well-being,
00:10:18.580 and the message is,
00:10:20.020 your kids are ours.
00:10:22.100 We own them.
00:10:23.820 We will do what we want
00:10:25.040 with them and to them.
00:10:28.100 I said before that Chicago
00:10:29.540 isn't focused on addressing
00:10:31.140 the violence and chaos
00:10:32.140 in its schools,
00:10:33.060 and that's true,
00:10:34.740 but I should mention
00:10:36.160 that they did announce this year
00:10:37.720 a new plan,
00:10:38.540 what they call
00:10:38.980 a healing-centered framework
00:10:40.620 to help kids cope with trauma
00:10:42.800 related to violence,
00:10:44.060 COVID,
00:10:44.480 and other struggles.
00:10:45.700 It's not clear
00:10:46.520 what this will entail exactly,
00:10:47.880 but we do know
00:10:48.500 that it will cost $25 million,
00:10:50.120 whatever they do with it.
00:10:51.780 I wonder if the girls
00:10:52.820 who will now be abused,
00:10:54.280 raped, harassed,
00:10:54.960 and accosted
00:10:55.520 in the school's bathrooms
00:10:56.440 will have access
00:10:57.620 to those healing-centered services.
00:11:00.860 Something tells me
00:11:01.620 they will not
00:11:02.160 because their trauma
00:11:03.880 doesn't count,
00:11:04.860 just like their feelings
00:11:06.020 and their comfort
00:11:06.560 and their privacy
00:11:07.100 doesn't count.
00:11:09.340 It all must be sacrificed
00:11:10.680 on the LGBT altar,
00:11:12.660 and that is yet another reason
00:11:14.280 among so many
00:11:14.980 why I say to get your kids
00:11:16.380 out of this damned
00:11:17.320 God-forsaken system,
00:11:19.640 save them while you still can.
00:11:21.540 Please.
00:11:23.180 Now let's get to
00:11:23.660 our five headlines.
00:11:31.200 When it comes to gift-giving,
00:11:32.520 you know,
00:11:32.620 they say that it's
00:11:33.200 the thought that counts,
00:11:34.180 but we all know
00:11:34.720 that's one of the lies
00:11:35.660 we all tell each other,
00:11:36.440 and we all know
00:11:36.900 that it's not true.
00:11:37.660 It's not just the thought
00:11:38.700 that counts.
00:11:40.080 You know,
00:11:40.240 you have to put
00:11:41.660 the right thought
00:11:42.420 into the gift,
00:11:43.280 and really,
00:11:43.880 what matters with a gift
00:11:44.820 is can I use it?
00:11:46.300 Do I want it?
00:11:47.500 Is it great?
00:11:49.040 And I'll tell you
00:11:49.640 one gift that you can give
00:11:50.480 that will check
00:11:51.140 all those boxes.
00:11:51.920 It's the X chair.
00:11:52.780 It's the chair
00:11:53.020 I'm sitting in right now.
00:11:54.300 How about a gift
00:11:54.880 that keeps on giving you
00:11:56.140 joy and comfort
00:11:56.760 every day,
00:11:57.340 all year long?
00:11:57.880 A gift that looks
00:11:58.480 as good as it feels,
00:11:59.380 and a gift that will
00:11:59.920 actually pay for itself
00:12:00.880 in terms of how much
00:12:01.620 more productive
00:12:02.080 you'll be at work.
00:12:03.040 I'm talking about
00:12:03.700 giving yourself the gift,
00:12:05.500 not someone else,
00:12:06.520 of an X chair.
00:12:07.360 I absolutely love mine.
00:12:08.320 It's by far the most
00:12:09.180 comfortable and ergonomic chair
00:12:10.360 I've ever used,
00:12:11.040 and honestly,
00:12:11.940 it's also probably
00:12:12.480 the coolest looking
00:12:13.220 piece of furniture
00:12:14.160 that I own.
00:12:15.520 Not only is X chair
00:12:16.200 the world's greatest
00:12:16.900 office chair,
00:12:17.720 but with its patented
00:12:18.720 LMX technology,
00:12:19.920 it doubles as a massage chair,
00:12:21.440 and it can either cool
00:12:22.660 or warm your back.
00:12:24.380 Probably,
00:12:25.000 you've sat in many
00:12:25.840 office chairs in your time
00:12:26.980 that can't do all of that.
00:12:28.340 Now is the perfect time
00:12:29.280 to purchase an X chair.
00:12:30.700 Buy early,
00:12:31.340 buy now,

00:13:15.340 along with being
00:13:15.800 a children's author
00:13:16.480 and a theocratic fascist
00:13:18.280 and all that,
00:13:18.700 and a philanthropist
00:13:19.260 and a Virginian.
00:13:19.880 I'm also a fashion model,
00:13:20.880 so I'm wearing
00:13:21.400 some of our
00:13:22.220 Matt Walsh show
00:13:23.240 merchandise
00:13:23.640 at the Daily Wire,
00:13:24.740 the Return or Die
00:13:25.500 shopping cart shirt,
00:13:26.900 which is another best-seller,
00:13:29.700 and for good reason.
00:13:32.460 And we've got a whole bunch
00:13:33.880 of other merchandise there
00:13:34.900 if you go to the Daily Wire.
00:13:35.520 And I'll be funneling
00:13:37.880 a lot of that stuff on.
00:13:38.880 It's just going to look
00:13:39.500 really, really tight.
00:13:40.280 I'm just a tacky bastard,
00:13:41.480 so I'm going to be
00:13:42.020 wearing the merchandise.
00:13:42.920 It'll be all over the studio.
00:13:45.060 I don't think any of the
00:13:46.240 other hosts are doing this.
00:13:47.380 Like, I'm the only one doing it.
00:13:49.420 It's just greedy and tacky,
00:13:50.980 but what can you do?
00:13:52.320 All right, let's go.
00:13:53.780 Let's start with here.
00:13:54.440 The White House yesterday
00:13:55.440 announced a new
00:13:56.260 five-point plan for COVID,
00:13:58.640 a new one.
00:13:59.400 So they've had, you know,
00:14:00.200 they had the plan
00:14:01.020 before this plan,
00:14:02.260 and that didn't work.
00:14:04.540 But that was the plan
00:14:05.760 that was put in place
00:14:06.480 because the plan
00:14:07.000 before that one didn't work
00:14:07.880 and that one was put there
00:14:08.700 because the one before
00:14:09.300 that one didn't work.
00:14:10.400 And so we keep going
00:14:10.960 with more.
00:14:11.800 Usually they're five-point plans
00:14:13.140 sometimes.
00:14:14.360 You know, sometimes
00:14:14.760 there's a three-point plan.
00:14:16.740 Now we've got a five-point plan
00:14:17.940 in light of the Omnicorn variant.
00:14:20.620 And here is,
00:14:21.700 we'll watch as much of this
00:14:23.280 as we can stomach.
00:14:23.920 Here's Tony Fauci
00:14:24.860 explaining the new plan.
00:14:26.060 Hi, everyone.
00:14:28.120 This is Tony Fauci here.
00:14:29.520 And the president today
00:14:30.580 is going to announce
00:14:31.280 new ways
00:14:31.900 how we are going to address
00:14:33.060 the COVID-19 outbreak
00:14:34.820 as we enter
00:14:35.620 into the winter months,
00:14:36.940 particularly with
00:14:37.800 the new situation
00:14:38.760 that we have now
00:14:39.720 with the Omicron variant.
00:14:45.400 Number one,
00:14:46.580 the president is launching
00:14:47.780 a campaign
00:14:48.580 to get as many people
00:14:50.020 boosted as they possibly can.
00:14:51.660 If you're one of the
00:14:52.380 hundred million Americans
00:14:53.840 who are eligible
00:14:54.860 for a boost,
00:14:56.060 go get your booster shot now.
00:14:58.460 Number two,
00:14:59.100 in order to protect
00:14:59.920 kids and families,
00:15:01.340 we will be launching
00:15:02.280 family vaccination sites
00:15:04.340 throughout the country
00:15:05.340 to make it easier
00:15:06.580 for families,
00:15:07.740 parents, and children
00:15:08.560 to get vaccinated.
00:15:09.700 And number three
00:15:10.480 is free at-home tests
00:15:12.120 for Americans.
00:15:13.320 We will be aimed
00:15:14.080 at getting home tests
00:15:15.640 for American families.
00:15:17.440 Free tests
00:15:18.280 where medical insurance
00:15:19.920 for private insurance
00:15:21.000 will pay 100%
00:15:22.860 of the cost
00:15:23.780 to get tests
00:15:24.860 for individuals
00:15:25.460 who need them.
00:15:27.020 So we got three.
00:15:28.440 We got three.
00:15:28.820 The other one
00:15:29.360 is travel requirements.
00:15:31.540 So there's
00:15:33.620 new travel requirements
00:15:35.380 and that is
00:15:37.780 COVID tests
00:15:38.500 for international travelers
00:15:39.580 is on there.
00:15:40.500 They're also leaving open
00:15:41.500 the possibility
00:15:42.160 eventually
00:15:43.140 of domestic travel
00:15:44.400 because that's the one thing
00:15:45.320 that they have
00:15:45.900 so far.
00:15:47.180 They've done a lot
00:15:47.740 with traveling
00:15:48.500 and they're also
00:15:49.120 extending the mask mandate
00:15:50.240 on planes
00:15:50.860 into March.
00:15:52.640 and then once March
00:15:54.920 I think it's like
00:15:55.460 late March
00:15:56.040 and then once that comes
00:15:56.860 of course they're going
00:15:57.280 to extend it
00:15:57.640 and keep extending it
00:15:58.400 in I believe it was
00:16:00.400 in Oregon
00:16:02.780 or Washington.
00:16:03.380 Oregon I think
00:16:04.000 they've made
00:16:05.960 the mask mandate
00:16:06.540 permanent.
00:16:07.500 So and they claim
00:16:08.780 that yeah it's permanent
00:16:09.640 but it's not really
00:16:10.660 it's just like
00:16:11.740 we're making it official
00:16:12.820 it's not really
00:16:13.660 permanent
00:16:14.400 as in forever.
00:16:15.720 It's more indefinite.
00:16:17.680 We're calling it permanent
00:16:18.660 but it's indefinite.
00:16:19.460 Kind of the same thing.
00:16:21.540 So eventually
00:16:21.960 we'll get that here too
00:16:22.840 with traveling
00:16:23.340 but they're still
00:16:23.940 they're still pretending
00:16:24.740 that this is temporary
00:16:25.780 so they extended
00:16:27.000 the mask mandate
00:16:27.620 until March
00:16:28.280 and that's on planes
00:16:30.720 and then
00:16:31.460 and you can go
00:16:32.640 you can go get
00:16:33.380 we're going to get
00:16:33.760 everybody boosted.
00:16:35.080 You got to get jabbed
00:16:36.160 and boosted
00:16:36.720 and the great thing is
00:16:38.740 to get jabbed
00:16:39.380 and boosted
00:16:39.800 you can bring your kids
00:16:40.840 with you now
00:16:41.240 to a family
00:16:42.180 vaccination site.
00:16:43.900 The fact that your kid
00:16:45.060 that
00:16:45.300 COVID poses almost
00:16:47.760 no risk to your kids
00:16:48.680 statistically speaking
00:16:49.620 doesn't matter
00:16:50.500 you know make it
00:16:51.080 a family event.
00:16:52.380 Go get jabbed
00:16:53.340 and boosted
00:16:53.740 with the kids.
00:16:55.520 Give them this
00:16:56.460 statistically
00:16:57.360 essentially
00:16:58.620 unnecessary vaccine
00:17:00.220 for them
00:17:00.880 given their
00:17:01.520 given their
00:17:02.660 their risk level
00:17:03.960 which is very very low
00:17:04.760 and then I don't know
00:17:05.740 go to Red Robin
00:17:06.340 or something
00:17:06.700 or Chuck E. Cheese
00:17:07.260 make it a whole family day.
00:17:09.400 Meanwhile
00:17:09.640 Jen Psaki has
00:17:11.120 a theory
00:17:11.720 related to COVID
00:17:12.820 about why people
00:17:14.720 are looting
00:17:15.640 in places like
00:17:16.840 San Francisco.
00:17:18.040 Is it the fact
00:17:19.060 that all of these
00:17:20.080 places have
00:17:20.980 district attorneys
00:17:22.360 many of them
00:17:24.360 were placed there
00:17:26.080 in part
00:17:26.460 with the help
00:17:27.040 of money
00:17:28.160 from guys
00:17:28.580 like George Soros
00:17:29.340 is it because
00:17:30.920 you got these guys
00:17:32.000 who are not putting
00:17:32.840 violent criminals
00:17:33.720 in jail
00:17:34.180 is it because
00:17:35.240 they've announced
00:17:36.020 ahead of time
00:17:36.760 that you can steal
00:17:38.200 X amount
00:17:38.800 up to X amount
00:17:39.740 of dollars worth
00:17:40.800 of merchandise
00:17:41.220 and we won't
00:17:41.800 prosecute you
00:17:42.480 is that what's
00:17:43.820 leading to this
00:17:44.500 is it the collapse
00:17:45.900 of the family
00:17:47.100 in these cities
00:17:47.640 no no it's none
00:17:48.220 of that
00:17:48.540 it's because
00:17:49.380 of the pandemic
00:17:50.060 she says
00:17:50.480 let's listen
00:17:50.900 a huge group
00:17:52.880 of criminals
00:17:53.940 organizes themselves
00:17:55.180 and they want
00:17:55.700 to go loot
00:17:56.580 a store
00:17:57.300 a CVS
00:17:58.240 a Nordstrom
00:17:58.720 a Home Depot
00:17:59.300 until the shelves
00:18:00.660 are clean
00:18:01.060 you think that's
00:18:01.600 because of the
00:18:01.960 pandemic
00:18:02.300 I think a root
00:18:04.480 cause in a lot
00:18:05.340 of communities
00:18:05.880 is the pandemic
00:18:06.900 yes
00:18:07.340 I was hoping
00:18:09.060 we get an
00:18:09.440 explanation there
00:18:10.080 but we don't
00:18:10.380 get one
00:18:10.720 because there
00:18:11.520 isn't any
00:18:12.000 explanation
00:18:12.300 the pandemic
00:18:13.920 has caused
00:18:14.600 people
00:18:14.980 has caused
00:18:15.900 mass looting
00:18:16.680 well we know
00:18:18.640 that AOC
00:18:19.260 told us
00:18:19.780 that people
00:18:20.240 are
00:18:20.620 all of the
00:18:21.760 uptick in crime
00:18:22.760 that we're hearing
00:18:23.200 about
00:18:23.520 is actually
00:18:24.300 just people
00:18:24.760 stealing bread
00:18:25.480 and I don't
00:18:28.680 know
00:18:28.800 it's
00:18:29.400 bread in the
00:18:30.860 shape of
00:18:31.280 like gooshy
00:18:31.820 bags
00:18:32.160 and designer
00:18:33.700 shoes
00:18:34.120 apparently
00:18:34.520 because all
00:18:35.420 of the videos
00:18:36.020 that you see
00:18:36.780 of the mass
00:18:37.380 looting
00:18:37.720 really it's
00:18:39.240 actually kind
00:18:39.680 of striking
00:18:40.080 that none
00:18:42.020 of it is
00:18:42.460 happening at
00:18:42.880 grocery stores
00:18:43.480 none of it
00:18:45.080 involves
00:18:45.700 essential items
00:18:47.120 people need
00:18:47.560 to live
00:18:48.000 and even
00:18:50.200 if it did
00:18:50.640 that still
00:18:51.020 wouldn't make
00:18:51.480 it okay
00:18:51.920 obviously
00:18:52.480 obvious to
00:18:53.060 to normal
00:18:54.980 people anyway
00:18:55.520 but no
00:18:57.200 the looting
00:18:57.980 is all at
00:18:58.760 retail outlets
00:19:00.220 you know
00:19:01.360 designer outlets
00:19:02.220 that sort of
00:19:02.700 thing
00:19:02.900 so she doesn't
00:19:04.460 explain exactly
00:19:05.180 how the pandemic
00:19:06.460 could contribute
00:19:07.640 to that
00:19:08.000 I'll tell you
00:19:09.440 one way that it
00:19:09.960 does we already
00:19:10.380 talked about this
00:19:11.020 she is correct
00:19:12.460 in only one
00:19:13.140 way that
00:19:14.040 the masking
00:19:16.200 which has
00:19:18.140 come out
00:19:18.940 of the pandemic
00:19:19.600 certainly does
00:19:21.400 contribute to it
00:19:22.300 so she's not
00:19:23.900 wrong about that
00:19:24.460 at least
00:19:24.720 all right
00:19:25.680 let's move on
00:19:26.340 to
00:19:26.760 the view
00:19:28.900 and the
00:19:30.940 Supreme Court
00:19:31.300 case
00:19:31.660 we know the
00:19:32.380 left is
00:19:32.880 of course
00:19:33.540 losing their
00:19:33.960 minds
00:19:34.200 as they see
00:19:35.600 the possibility
00:19:36.340 that they
00:19:36.800 will
00:19:37.100 that their
00:19:38.580 high sacrament
00:19:39.460 of abortion
00:19:39.920 their highest
00:19:40.420 and most sacred
00:19:40.940 sacrament
00:19:41.380 potentially will
00:19:42.900 be desecrated
00:19:43.600 will be taken
00:19:44.920 from them
00:19:45.360 but not even
00:19:46.600 actually taken
00:19:47.160 from them
00:19:47.500 by the way
00:19:47.880 because we
00:19:48.680 should remind
00:19:49.400 everyone
00:19:49.760 and I think
00:19:50.580 many people
00:19:51.500 still don't
00:19:52.100 realize this
00:19:52.760 and if you
00:19:53.220 rely on the
00:19:53.780 media to
00:19:54.480 for your
00:19:55.040 information
00:19:55.480 the corporate
00:19:55.820 media
00:19:56.160 then you're
00:19:56.760 not going
00:19:57.160 to realize
00:19:57.880 that if
00:19:59.300 Roe v. Wade
00:20:00.520 is overturned
00:20:01.380 that doesn't
00:20:02.280 mean that
00:20:03.100 abortion is
00:20:03.760 illegal across
00:20:04.560 the country
00:20:04.980 the next day
00:20:05.520 I wish it
00:20:07.120 meant that
00:20:07.540 but that's
00:20:07.860 not what it
00:20:08.240 means
00:20:08.460 all it means
00:20:09.320 now is that
00:20:10.040 states have
00:20:10.720 the ability
00:20:11.160 to make
00:20:12.380 their own
00:20:12.680 laws when
00:20:13.040 it comes
00:20:13.260 to abortion
00:20:13.680 and so
00:20:14.640 eventually
00:20:15.160 probably very
00:20:15.740 quickly
00:20:16.100 abortion will
00:20:17.180 be effectively
00:20:17.900 illegal
00:20:18.340 in I don't
00:20:19.180 know probably
00:20:19.520 20 states
00:20:20.120 or something
00:20:20.480 or maybe
00:20:20.720 more
00:20:21.000 but the
00:20:23.280 states where
00:20:23.900 most of
00:20:24.500 the abortions
00:20:25.020 happen
00:20:25.460 New York
00:20:26.680 California
00:20:27.200 not only will
00:20:29.020 abortion still
00:20:29.580 be in place
00:20:30.120 in those
00:20:30.400 states
00:20:30.720 but what I
00:20:32.540 would expect
00:20:33.220 is that
00:20:34.500 they're going
00:20:34.840 to respond
00:20:35.420 to this
00:20:35.900 by putting
00:20:36.500 more extreme
00:20:37.320 abortion laws
00:20:38.020 on the
00:20:38.240 books
00:20:38.480 which may
00:20:40.460 seem very
00:20:40.900 difficult to
00:20:41.500 do because
00:20:41.920 the laws
00:20:42.360 of California
00:20:42.900 and New York
00:20:43.240 when it comes
00:20:43.560 to abortion
00:20:43.940 are already
00:20:44.540 you would
00:20:44.820 think as
00:20:45.480 extreme as
00:20:46.000 it gets
00:20:46.320 but I
00:20:48.480 would not
00:20:48.740 be at all
00:20:49.180 surprised
00:20:49.920 to find
00:20:51.820 if Roe v.
00:20:53.460 Wade is
00:20:53.700 overturned
00:20:54.740 very soon
00:20:55.480 after that
00:20:56.100 the deep
00:20:57.900 blue states
00:20:58.780 start doing
00:20:59.520 things like
00:21:00.720 explicitly
00:21:01.920 making
00:21:04.060 infanticide
00:21:05.000 legal and
00:21:05.400 that sort
00:21:05.640 of thing
00:21:05.920 which they've
00:21:07.000 already
00:21:07.160 effectively
00:21:07.640 done in
00:21:08.020 New York
00:21:08.280 so the
00:21:09.960 left's
00:21:10.200 freaking out
00:21:10.560 about it
00:21:10.880 and the
00:21:11.220 one thing
00:21:11.480 that we're
00:21:11.780 hearing over
00:21:12.900 and over
00:21:13.180 again of
00:21:13.480 course is
00:21:14.080 how this
00:21:14.660 is an
00:21:15.380 attack on
00:21:16.100 women
00:21:16.780 which is
00:21:17.760 an interesting
00:21:18.280 claim for a
00:21:18.980 number of
00:21:19.240 reasons but
00:21:19.660 first let's
00:21:20.160 listen to
00:21:21.540 Whoopi Goldberg
00:21:22.600 wearing a
00:21:22.980 very ugly
00:21:23.420 sweater and
00:21:24.300 making this
00:21:25.040 case
00:21:25.300 do any
00:21:26.960 of you
00:21:27.380 men
00:21:27.880 have any
00:21:29.820 eggs or
00:21:30.700 the possibility
00:21:31.620 of carrying
00:21:32.120 a fetus
00:21:32.500 how dare
00:21:33.120 you talk
00:21:33.540 about what
00:21:33.880 a fetus
00:21:34.340 wants
00:21:34.800 you have
00:21:35.480 no idea
00:21:36.420 now I'm
00:21:39.700 I'm fine
00:21:40.980 if you disagree
00:21:41.920 with abortion
00:21:42.520 I have no
00:21:42.940 problem with
00:21:43.580 that
00:21:43.860 my problem
00:21:44.920 comes when
00:21:45.860 you tell
00:21:46.380 me what
00:21:47.560 I need to
00:21:48.040 do with
00:21:48.360 my doctor
00:21:48.960 and my
00:21:49.420 family
00:21:49.860 how dare
00:21:50.540 you
00:21:50.920 did she
00:21:52.480 say you
00:21:52.740 have no
00:21:52.980 idea what
00:21:53.280 a fetus
00:21:53.720 wants
00:21:54.020 is that
00:21:54.240 what she
00:21:54.420 said
00:21:54.660 are you
00:21:57.720 suggesting
00:21:58.060 that they
00:21:58.420 might want
00:21:59.300 to be
00:21:59.540 killed
00:21:59.800 that's
00:22:01.760 something
00:22:01.920 that they
00:22:02.160 might want
00:22:02.740 but she
00:22:04.600 also says
00:22:05.000 that if
00:22:05.320 you're a
00:22:05.580 man you
00:22:06.000 don't have
00:22:06.560 eggs you
00:22:07.480 don't have
00:22:07.760 the ability
00:22:08.260 to carry
00:22:08.820 a quote
00:22:09.120 unquote
00:22:09.320 fetus
00:22:09.780 before we
00:22:10.780 respond to
00:22:11.120 that Nancy
00:22:11.480 Pelosi had
00:22:12.420 a similar
00:22:13.120 perspective
00:22:13.700 during her
00:22:15.380 press conference
00:22:15.940 listen to
00:22:16.520 listen to
00:22:16.960 that
00:22:17.180 yesterday
00:22:18.460 Supreme
00:22:20.220 Court took
00:22:20.900 up a very
00:22:21.440 important issue
00:22:22.280 I viewed it
00:22:23.600 as listening
00:22:24.220 as a very
00:22:25.040 dark day
00:22:25.680 as the
00:22:25.920 Supreme Court
00:22:26.360 heard arguments
00:22:27.220 about the
00:22:28.140 case of
00:22:28.600 Mississippi's
00:22:29.320 extreme
00:22:29.900 law
00:22:30.920 the court
00:22:32.220 is threatening
00:22:32.760 to trample
00:22:33.480 over the
00:22:33.900 constitution
00:22:34.580 destroy Roe v
00:22:35.560 Wade
00:22:35.900 and turn
00:22:36.860 away
00:22:37.100 take away
00:22:38.780 a woman's
00:22:39.260 freedom
00:22:39.660 to make
00:22:40.180 the most
00:22:40.620 fundamental
00:22:41.280 decision
00:22:42.180 that she
00:22:42.780 can make
00:22:43.220 for herself
00:22:43.840 and her
00:22:44.240 family
00:22:44.640 working with
00:22:45.780 her family
00:22:46.540 members and
00:22:47.120 her doctor
00:22:47.600 and her
00:22:48.840 faith
00:22:49.200 and so
00:22:50.320 we have
00:22:51.100 a situation
00:22:52.720 where
00:22:53.200 for us
00:22:55.240 we believe
00:22:55.880 the strongest
00:22:56.440 weapon that
00:22:57.080 we have
00:22:57.680 here is
00:22:58.820 to pass
00:23:00.120 the
00:23:00.480 Roe v
00:23:01.320 Wade
00:23:01.560 codification
00:23:02.440 we did
00:23:03.160 that already
00:23:04.160 in the
00:23:05.780 house
00:23:06.140 man she
00:23:08.380 is old
00:23:08.760 she says
00:23:10.780 this is an
00:23:11.140 attack on
00:23:11.580 women
00:23:11.820 and
00:23:12.400 Whoopi
00:23:13.600 Goldberg
00:23:13.900 says the
00:23:14.360 same thing
00:23:14.840 Whoopi
00:23:15.260 Goldberg
00:23:15.520 is more
00:23:16.040 explicit about
00:23:16.640 it
00:23:16.760 relating it
00:23:17.800 to your
00:23:18.000 body
00:23:18.260 saying you
00:23:18.540 don't have
00:23:18.760 a right
00:23:18.960 to talk
00:23:19.320 about this
00:23:19.720 if you
00:23:19.900 can't carry
00:23:21.960 a fetus
00:23:22.440 within your
00:23:22.820 body
00:23:23.100 and so on
00:23:23.560 now
00:23:24.440 we know
00:23:25.920 that that's
00:23:26.260 already a
00:23:27.020 very stupid
00:23:27.540 point for
00:23:28.240 many reasons
00:23:28.920 we've talked
00:23:29.340 about plenty
00:23:29.880 of times
00:23:30.420 one being
00:23:32.020 that the
00:23:32.540 body at
00:23:32.900 issue is
00:23:33.300 not the
00:23:33.560 woman's
00:23:33.820 body
00:23:34.040 that's
00:23:34.280 not what
00:23:34.580 we're
00:23:34.700 talking
00:23:35.020 about
00:23:35.320 here
00:23:35.460 we're
00:23:35.620 talking
00:23:35.840 about
00:23:36.000 the
00:23:36.140 body
00:23:36.460 of
00:23:36.740 the
00:23:36.880 child
00:23:37.120 in
00:23:37.220 the
00:23:37.300 womb
00:23:37.500 that
00:23:39.040 is
00:23:39.200 the
00:23:39.640 body
00:23:40.000 in
00:23:40.720 dispute
00:23:41.140 here
00:23:41.380 that's
00:23:41.640 the
00:23:41.760 body
00:23:42.100 whose
00:23:42.800 life
00:23:43.340 hangs
00:23:43.760 in
00:23:43.880 the
00:23:44.000 balance
00:23:44.420 also
00:23:46.060 it
00:23:47.380 takes
00:23:47.780 two
00:23:47.980 to
00:23:48.120 tango
00:23:48.620 so
00:23:49.040 every
00:23:49.680 single
00:23:50.180 fetus
00:23:51.660 that is
00:23:53.400 currently
00:23:53.760 in the
00:23:54.080 womb
00:23:54.280 of a
00:23:54.640 woman
00:23:54.860 was
00:23:56.700 created
00:23:57.320 by
00:23:58.220 with the
00:23:59.100 help
00:23:59.240 of a
00:23:59.460 man
00:23:59.680 and so
00:24:01.480 you would
00:24:01.880 think
00:24:02.200 that would
00:24:02.560 mean
00:24:02.880 that men
00:24:03.460 actually
00:24:03.840 have a
00:24:04.160 stake
00:24:04.420 in
00:24:05.000 this
00:24:05.380 issue
00:24:05.660 because
00:24:07.060 these
00:24:07.340 are
00:24:07.520 our
00:24:07.860 children
00:24:08.340 also
00:24:08.860 they
00:24:09.800 are
00:24:09.940 in
00:24:10.060 fact
00:24:10.200 equally
00:24:10.640 our
00:24:10.900 children
00:24:11.220 you
00:24:12.340 can't
00:24:12.560 make
00:24:12.780 a
00:24:13.260 baby
00:24:13.480 on
00:24:13.700 your
00:24:13.840 own
00:24:14.120 you
00:24:16.440 need
00:24:16.620 the
00:24:16.780 50%
00:24:17.680 contribution
00:24:18.420 of
00:24:18.680 a
00:24:18.780 man
00:24:18.980 and
00:24:20.900 you
00:24:20.980 would
00:24:21.080 also
00:24:21.280 think
00:24:21.500 that
00:24:21.680 we
00:24:21.920 all
00:24:22.060 have
00:24:22.160 a
00:24:22.280 stake
00:24:22.440 in
00:24:22.540 it
00:24:22.620 because
00:24:22.820 we
00:24:23.000 were
00:24:23.120 all
00:24:23.280 unborn
00:24:23.560 children
00:24:23.840 at
00:24:23.980 one
00:24:24.120 time
00:24:24.300 or
00:24:24.400 another
00:24:24.640 you
00:24:26.660 know
00:24:26.780 Ronald
00:24:27.080 Reagan's
00:24:27.500 famous
00:24:27.760 quote
00:24:28.100 that
00:24:28.420 I've
00:24:28.860 noticed
00:24:29.140 that
00:24:29.320 all
00:24:29.440 the
00:24:29.560 people
00:24:29.740 who
00:24:29.860 support
00:24:30.080 abortion
00:24:30.380 are
00:24:30.560 already
00:24:30.820 born
00:24:31.140 now
00:24:33.600 Whoopi
00:24:33.920 Goldberg
00:24:34.280 says
00:24:34.680 well
00:24:35.240 you
00:24:35.660 don't
00:24:35.800 know
00:24:36.220 what
00:24:36.340 the
00:24:36.440 fetus
00:24:36.660 wants
00:24:36.900 maybe
00:24:37.160 the
00:24:37.340 fetus
00:24:37.640 wants
00:24:38.000 to have
00:24:38.520 his
00:24:39.140 skull
00:24:40.240 crushed
00:24:40.760 maybe
00:24:42.320 he wants
00:24:42.620 to be
00:24:42.840 jabbed
00:24:43.180 in the
00:24:43.380 heart
00:24:43.540 with a
00:24:43.780 poison
00:24:44.060 needle
00:24:44.380 which
00:24:45.980 is how
00:24:46.200 they
00:24:46.320 perform
00:24:46.720 many of
00:24:47.220 these
00:24:47.320 abortions
00:24:47.720 especially
00:24:47.980 in the
00:24:48.180 later
00:24:48.340 stages
00:24:48.720 maybe
00:24:50.100 he
00:24:50.260 wants
00:24:50.460 to be
00:24:50.680 ripped
00:24:51.080 limb
00:24:51.420 from
00:24:51.640 limb
00:24:51.960 which
00:24:53.840 is also
00:24:54.140 how they
00:24:54.360 perform
00:24:54.620 these
00:24:54.760 abortions
00:24:55.140 in the
00:24:55.300 later
00:24:55.460 stages
00:24:55.820 maybe
00:24:56.900 he
00:24:57.260 wants
00:24:57.500 that
00:24:57.660 she
00:24:57.780 says
00:24:58.040 yet
00:25:00.580 I'm
00:25:01.020 guessing
00:25:01.360 that
00:25:01.700 Whoopi
00:25:01.920 Goldberg
00:25:02.340 is quite
00:25:02.840 happy
00:25:03.140 that
00:25:03.300 didn't
00:25:03.440 happen
00:25:03.640 to her
00:25:03.920 I think
00:25:05.920 I can
00:25:06.100 say
00:25:06.200 that
00:25:06.320 every
00:25:06.500 single
00:25:06.700 person
00:25:06.980 alive
00:25:07.280 today
00:25:07.480 is quite
00:25:07.800 happy
00:25:08.000 that
00:25:08.120 didn't
00:25:08.260 happen
00:25:08.440 to
00:25:08.540 them
00:25:08.720 if
00:25:12.140 you're
00:25:12.340 alive
00:25:12.840 today
00:25:13.060 and you
00:25:13.300 wished
00:25:13.540 you were
00:25:13.800 dead
00:25:14.080 then
00:25:14.320 you
00:25:14.500 probably
00:25:14.800 wouldn't
00:25:14.940 be
00:25:15.060 living
00:25:15.260 much
00:25:15.460 longer
00:25:15.720 so
00:25:18.600 you would
00:25:19.220 think
00:25:19.340 that would
00:25:19.540 give us
00:25:19.780 all a
00:25:20.080 stake
00:25:20.260 in this
00:25:20.480 issue
00:25:20.720 and also
00:25:23.080 the fact
00:25:23.400 that this
00:25:23.700 is a
00:25:24.000 matter
00:25:25.060 of
00:25:25.280 law
00:25:25.600 it's
00:25:26.120 a matter
00:25:26.380 of
00:25:26.540 morals
00:25:26.900 so
00:25:28.140 you
00:25:28.320 don't
00:25:28.480 have
00:25:28.720 to be
00:25:29.180 personally
00:25:29.680 connected
00:25:30.140 to the
00:25:30.660 issue
00:25:30.900 I
00:25:33.520 mean
00:25:33.660 if
00:25:33.800 somebody
00:25:34.300 murders
00:25:35.480 a
00:25:35.680 homeless
00:25:35.980 man
00:25:36.420 out
00:25:37.560 in
00:25:37.700 California
00:25:38.220 that
00:25:39.720 doesn't
00:25:40.140 directly
00:25:40.600 affect
00:25:40.960 me
00:25:41.180 it
00:25:41.340 would
00:25:42.520 be
00:25:42.620 very
00:25:42.800 hard
00:25:43.100 to
00:25:43.300 argue
00:25:43.560 that
00:25:43.740 that
00:25:43.880 has
00:25:44.060 any
00:25:44.260 direct
00:25:44.740 impact
00:25:45.260 on
00:25:45.500 me
00:25:45.740 at
00:25:46.020 all
00:25:46.320 I'm
00:25:48.200 not
00:25:48.340 involved
00:25:48.780 I'm
00:25:49.100 not
00:25:49.240 the
00:25:49.360 homeless
00:25:49.580 man
00:25:49.800 maybe
00:25:49.980 he
00:25:50.120 wanted
00:25:50.320 to
00:25:50.460 be
00:25:50.580 murdered
00:25:50.880 you know
00:25:53.280 the person
00:25:53.660 who
00:25:53.800 murdered
00:25:54.020 him
00:25:54.240 I
00:25:54.360 don't
00:25:54.480 know
00:25:54.600 their
00:25:54.740 reasons
00:25:55.120 I
00:25:55.340 don't
00:25:55.480 I'm
00:25:55.920 not
00:25:56.100 walking
00:25:56.520 in
00:25:56.720 their
00:25:56.860 shoes
00:25:57.260 I
00:25:57.460 don't
00:25:58.060 know
00:25:59.280 about
00:25:59.480 their
00:25:59.660 lived
00:25:59.960 experience
00:26:03.520 the
00:26:03.660 issue
00:26:03.960 and
00:26:04.540 it
00:26:04.660 doesn't
00:26:04.920 affect
00:26:05.320 me
00:26:05.480 in
00:26:05.600 any
00:26:05.800 way
00:26:06.040 and
00:26:06.600 it's
00:26:06.760 none
00:26:07.020 of my
00:26:07.300 business
00:26:07.660 I'm
00:26:08.440 still
00:26:08.640 very
00:26:08.940 much
00:26:09.140 opposed
00:26:09.460 to
00:26:09.620 it
00:26:09.780 and
00:26:10.020 I
00:26:10.080 think
00:26:10.180 there
00:26:10.300 should
00:26:10.400 be
00:26:10.500 laws
00:26:10.700 against
00:26:10.960 it
00:26:11.160 but
00:26:12.860 all
00:26:13.160 of
00:26:13.280 that
00:26:13.420 aside
00:26:13.740 of
00:26:13.900 course
00:26:14.200 the
00:26:15.760 real
00:26:16.020 problem
00:26:16.500 as
00:26:17.400 we
00:26:17.540 know
00:26:17.760 is
00:26:18.100 that
00:26:18.340 they
00:26:18.720 can't
00:26:19.160 make
00:26:19.500 this
00:26:19.880 point
00:26:20.320 anymore
00:26:20.740 you
00:26:22.500 can't
00:26:23.140 do
00:26:23.360 this
00:26:23.600 anymore
00:26:23.940 Whoopi
00:26:24.220 Goldberg
00:26:24.660 because
00:26:26.220 men
00:26:26.760 can
00:26:27.500 have
00:26:27.800 eggs
00:26:28.180 and
00:26:28.960 carry
00:26:29.300 babies
00:26:29.900 within
00:26:30.180 them
00:26:30.420 men
00:26:31.880 can
00:26:33.520 that's
00:26:35.620 that's
00:26:36.020 your
00:26:36.180 position
00:26:36.640 I
00:26:37.340 have
00:26:37.480 to
00:26:37.580 remind
00:26:37.880 you
00:26:38.120 now
00:26:40.400 I
00:26:40.700 understand
00:26:41.460 Whoopi
00:26:41.780 Goldberg
00:26:42.140 as an
00:26:42.500 older
00:26:42.680 woman
00:26:43.000 I
00:26:43.280 don't
00:26:43.380 know
00:26:43.560 she's
00:26:43.920 what
00:26:44.080 her
00:26:44.180 60s
00:26:44.640 or
00:26:44.700 70s
00:26:45.040 now
00:26:45.200 that's
00:26:46.660 probably
00:26:46.920 not
00:26:47.260 actually
00:26:47.720 your
00:26:47.980 position
00:26:48.380 because
00:26:49.920 you
00:26:50.520 grew
00:26:51.280 up
00:26:51.540 and
00:26:51.660 you
00:26:51.760 were
00:26:51.920 raised
00:26:52.300 before
00:26:53.440 gender
00:26:53.840 ideology
00:26:54.420 got
00:26:54.720 into
00:26:54.860 the
00:26:55.000 mainstream
00:26:55.340 and
00:26:56.760 so
00:26:56.880 you've
00:26:57.160 probably
00:26:57.340 lived
00:26:57.580 your
00:26:57.700 entire
00:26:57.980 life
00:26:58.340 under
00:26:59.000 the
00:26:59.200 assumption
00:26:59.600 that
00:27:00.260 men
00:27:00.520 are
00:27:00.640 men
00:27:00.800 women
00:27:00.980 are
00:27:01.120 women
00:27:01.320 only
00:27:01.540 women
00:27:01.760 have
00:27:01.960 babies
00:27:03.520 things
00:27:03.740 and
00:27:04.740 you
00:27:04.840 probably
00:27:05.100 still
00:27:05.400 believe
00:27:05.720 that
00:27:06.000 you
00:27:07.480 probably
00:27:07.780 look
00:27:08.040 around
00:27:08.380 at
00:27:08.680 gender
00:27:09.160 ideology
00:27:09.600 and
00:27:09.720 all
00:27:09.840 this
00:27:09.980 kind
00:27:10.120 of
00:27:10.160 stuff
00:27:10.320 and
00:27:10.400 you
00:27:10.480 think
00:27:10.600 that's
00:27:10.820 crazy
00:27:11.080 but
00:27:11.520 you're
00:27:11.680 not
00:27:11.840 going to
00:27:12.000 say
00:27:12.140 that
00:27:12.280 out
00:27:12.420 loud
00:27:12.660 because
00:27:13.400 you
00:27:13.540 certainly
00:27:14.040 don't
00:27:14.220 have
00:27:14.340 the
00:27:14.460 courage
00:27:14.680 for
00:27:14.820 that
00:27:15.000 you
00:27:17.140 are
00:27:17.540 beholden
00:27:18.060 to
00:27:18.120 this
00:27:18.300 ideology
00:27:18.800 and
00:27:19.900 you're
00:27:20.000 not
00:27:20.220 going
00:27:20.400 to
00:27:20.520 speak
00:27:20.720 out
00:27:20.880 against
00:27:21.160 it
00:27:21.400 you're
00:27:22.060 not
00:27:22.260 going
00:27:22.420 to
00:27:22.560 contradict
00:27:22.880 it
00:27:23.200 which
00:27:24.140 means
00:27:24.340 that
00:27:24.440 you
00:27:24.560 can't
00:27:24.800 say
00:27:24.920 this
00:27:25.080 anymore
00:27:25.360 it
00:27:28.300 really
00:27:29.780 works
00:27:30.080 to your
00:27:30.280 benefit
00:27:30.540 in the
00:27:30.800 end
00:27:30.940 in a
00:27:31.160 certain
00:27:31.320 way
00:27:31.480 because
00:27:31.660 it's
00:27:31.820 such
00:27:31.940 a
00:27:32.120 stupid
00:27:32.520 point
00:27:33.060 this
00:27:34.520 no
00:27:34.960 uterus
00:27:35.360 no
00:27:35.560 opinion
00:27:35.880 thing
00:27:36.200 is
00:27:36.340 a
00:27:36.640 very
00:27:37.260 stupid
00:27:37.740 argument
00:27:38.160 and
00:27:38.680 it
00:27:38.760 makes
00:27:38.940 you
00:27:39.100 sound
00:27:39.460 dumb
00:27:39.900 now
00:27:40.400 granted
00:27:40.760 there
00:27:40.960 are
00:27:41.060 no
00:27:41.240 good
00:27:41.500 arguments
00:27:41.840 for
00:27:42.060 abortion
00:27:42.420 but
00:27:44.880 maybe
00:27:45.100 you
00:27:45.220 could
00:27:45.320 try
00:27:45.460 to
00:27:45.600 find
00:27:45.780 one
00:27:45.960 that's
00:27:46.120 a
00:27:46.220 little
00:27:46.340 bit
00:27:46.500 better
00:27:46.680 than
00:27:46.860 that
00:27:47.120 so
00:27:50.840 it's
00:27:51.000 for the
00:27:51.420 best
00:27:51.620 maybe
00:27:51.840 for
00:27:52.020 you
00:27:52.200 but
00:27:53.180 you
00:27:53.240 have
00:27:53.380 to
00:27:53.460 find
00:27:53.600 a
00:27:53.700 different
00:27:53.860 argument
00:27:54.140 because
00:27:54.400 this
00:27:54.600 doesn't
00:27:54.840 work
00:27:55.000 anymore
00:27:55.280 the
00:27:58.220 female
00:27:58.700 body
00:27:59.140 is
00:28:00.120 no
00:28:00.340 longer
00:28:00.680 exclusive
00:28:01.140 to
00:28:01.380 women
00:28:01.580 I'm
00:28:02.040 afraid
00:28:02.240 to
00:28:02.400 tell
00:28:02.560 you
00:28:02.700 so
00:28:03.860 what
00:28:04.000 you're
00:28:04.140 engaging
00:28:04.460 in
00:28:04.640 here
00:28:04.840 is
00:28:05.080 rank
00:28:05.560 transphobia
00:28:06.460 and
00:28:06.700 it's
00:28:07.320 deeply
00:28:07.700 offensive
00:28:08.100 man
00:28:08.420 if
00:28:09.380 that's
00:28:09.560 how
00:28:09.660 you
00:28:09.760 identify
00:28:10.140 all
00:28:10.980 right
00:28:11.160 staying
00:28:11.960 on
00:28:12.180 rovey
00:28:12.380 wait
00:28:12.540 for
00:28:12.660 a
00:28:12.780 second
00:28:12.940 here
00:28:13.180 I
00:28:13.520 just
00:28:13.700 saw
00:28:13.900 this
00:28:14.060 right
00:28:14.200 before
00:28:14.380 show
00:28:14.620 time
00:28:14.920 I
00:28:15.260 want
00:28:15.420 to
00:28:15.500 read
00:28:15.680 through
00:28:15.800 it
00:28:15.900 a
00:28:16.000 little
00:28:16.120 bit
00:28:16.360 it's
00:28:16.580 a
00:28:16.840 horrifying
00:28:17.200 editorial
00:28:17.720 in
00:28:23.860 adoption
00:28:24.440 is
00:28:24.680 bad
00:28:25.100 is
00:28:25.600 the
00:28:25.740 pitch
00:28:26.040 right
00:28:27.220 so
00:28:28.080 here
00:28:28.360 is

00:28:36.040 and
00:28:36.800 her
00:28:36.960 point
00:28:37.300 what's
00:28:38.040 the
00:28:38.120 headline
00:28:38.420 I
00:28:39.960 was
00:28:40.160 adopted
00:28:40.600 I
00:28:40.980 know
00:28:41.220 the
00:28:41.440 trauma
00:28:41.920 it
00:28:42.280 can
00:28:42.500 inflict
00:28:42.960 so
00:28:44.700 it's
00:28:44.820 a
00:28:44.880 long
00:28:45.020 we
00:28:45.140 can't
00:28:45.300 read
00:28:45.400 the
00:28:45.480 whole
00:28:45.560 thing
00:28:45.700 let's
00:28:45.900 go
00:28:46.020 through
00:28:46.140 a
00:28:46.240 little
00:28:46.340 bit
00:28:46.460 of
00:28:46.500 this
00:28:46.640 on
00:28:47.220 Wednesday
00:28:47.520 as
00:28:47.680 the
00:28:47.780 Supreme
00:28:47.960 court
00:28:48.180 heard
00:28:48.400 oral
00:28:48.720 arguments
00:28:49.200 from
00:28:49.400 state
00:28:49.660 attorneys
00:28:50.120 seeking
00:28:50.560 to
00:28:50.760 uphold
00:28:51.060 Mississippi's
00:28:51.700 15
00:28:51.980 week
00:28:52.220 abortion
00:28:52.560 ban
00:28:52.840 Justice
00:28:53.740 Amy
00:28:54.040 Coney
00:28:54.320 Barrett
00:28:54.720 kept
00:28:55.000 getting
00:28:55.240 at
00:28:55.420 one
00:28:55.660 question
00:28:56.060 why
00:28:57.440 was
00:28:57.600 abortion
00:28:57.900 necessary
00:28:58.420 when
00:28:58.640 women
00:28:58.880 who
00:28:59.040 do
00:28:59.160 not
00:28:59.360 want
00:28:59.560 to
00:28:59.640 be
00:28:59.720 mothers
00:28:59.940 can
00:29:00.160 simply
00:29:00.400 give
00:29:00.680 their
00:29:00.840 babies
00:29:01.100 up
00:29:01.240 for
00:29:01.360 adoption
00:29:01.660 as
00:29:02.660 an
00:29:02.780 adoptee
00:29:03.320 myself
00:29:03.820 I
00:29:04.000 was
00:29:04.160 floored
00:29:04.640 by
00:29:05.300 Justice
00:29:05.700 Barrett's
00:29:06.120 assumption
00:29:06.520 that
00:29:06.740 adoption
00:29:07.120 is
00:29:07.340 an
00:29:07.480 accessible
00:29:08.240 and
00:29:08.600 desirable
00:29:09.080 alternative
00:29:09.620 for
00:29:10.180 women
00:29:10.420 who
00:29:10.560 find
00:29:10.780 themselves
00:29:11.140 unexpectedly
00:29:11.780 pregnant
00:29:12.220 she
00:29:13.160 may
00:29:13.300 not
00:29:13.460 realize
00:29:13.840 it
00:29:14.040 but
00:29:14.360 what
00:29:14.500 she
00:29:14.600 is
00:29:14.700 suggesting
00:29:15.080 is
00:29:15.280 that
00:29:15.420 women
00:29:15.660 don't
00:29:16.720 need
00:29:17.020 access
00:29:17.360 to
00:29:17.560 abortion
00:29:17.900 because
00:29:18.440 they
00:29:18.600 can
00:29:19.760 simply
00:29:20.080 go
00:29:20.340 do
00:29:20.580 a
00:29:20.740 thing
00:29:20.940 that
00:29:21.120 is
00:29:21.240 infinitely
00:29:21.620 more
00:29:21.940 difficult
00:29:22.340 expensive
00:29:22.940 dangerous
00:29:23.580 and
00:29:24.340 potentially
00:29:24.680 traumatic
00:29:25.280 than
00:29:25.740 terminating
00:29:26.240 a
00:29:26.440 pregnancy
00:29:26.760 during
00:29:27.160 its
00:29:27.320 early
00:29:27.580 stages
00:29:27.980 as
00:29:29.300 an
00:29:29.420 adoptive
00:29:29.820 mother
00:29:30.020 herself
00:29:30.500 Justice
00:29:31.400 Barrett
00:29:31.720 should
00:29:31.920 have
00:29:32.100 some
00:29:32.680 inkling
00:29:33.100 of
00:29:33.240 the
00:29:33.340 complexities
00:29:33.840 of
00:29:34.140 adoption
00:29:34.540 and
00:29:35.220 the
00:29:35.340 toll
00:29:35.600 it
00:29:35.720 can
00:29:35.840 inflict
00:29:36.160 on
00:29:36.360 children
00:29:36.700 as
00:29:37.440 well
00:29:37.620 as
00:29:37.780 birth
00:29:38.040 mothers
00:29:38.420 okay
00:29:40.340 I
00:29:40.500 don't
00:29:40.600 where
00:29:44.040 adoption
00:29:45.340 is
00:29:45.760 more
00:29:46.020 dangerous
00:29:46.860 than
00:29:48.520 abortion
00:29:49.000 now
00:29:50.380 clearly
00:29:50.900 we're
00:29:51.140 only
00:29:51.300 we're
00:29:52.000 only
00:29:52.180 talking
00:29:52.420 we're
00:29:52.540 not
00:29:52.660 taking
00:29:52.940 the
00:29:53.080 child
00:29:53.260 into
00:29:53.420 account
00:29:53.640 at
00:29:53.760 all
00:29:53.920 here
00:29:54.100 yet
00:29:54.360 I
00:29:55.380 don't
00:29:55.480 know
00:29:55.560 if
00:29:55.660 we're
00:29:55.740 going
00:29:55.820 to
00:29:55.880 get
00:29:56.000 to
00:29:56.120 the
00:29:56.240 point
00:29:56.500 where
00:29:56.680 she
00:29:56.860 argues
00:29:57.280 that
00:29:57.500 it's
00:29:57.740 better
00:29:58.520 for
00:29:58.740 the
00:29:58.900 child
00:29:59.320 also
00:29:59.800 to
00:30:00.340 be
00:30:00.540 dismembered
00:30:01.120 and
00:30:01.200 have
00:30:01.340 his
00:30:01.480 skull
00:30:01.760 crushed
00:30:02.140 than
00:30:02.560 to
00:30:02.640 be
00:30:02.740 put
00:30:02.860 up
00:30:02.960 for
00:30:03.060 adoption
00:30:03.340 maybe
00:30:03.600 she'll
00:30:03.820 argue
00:30:04.020 that
00:30:04.220 later
00:30:04.440 but
00:30:05.060 right
00:30:05.240 now
00:30:05.400 she's
00:30:05.620 talking
00:30:05.820 about
00:30:06.020 the
00:30:06.160 woman
00:30:06.360 presumably
00:30:06.820 and
00:30:07.580 so
00:30:07.680 she
00:30:07.820 says
00:30:08.040 it's
00:30:08.220 more
00:30:08.780 dangerous
00:30:09.600 for
00:30:10.900 the
00:30:11.120 woman
00:30:11.500 to
00:30:11.980 put
00:30:12.140 their
00:30:12.280 child
00:30:12.460 up
00:30:12.580 for
00:30:12.680 adoption
00:30:13.080 than
00:30:13.420 to
00:30:13.740 get
00:30:14.260 an
00:30:14.400 abortion
00:30:14.720 how
00:30:16.920 so
00:30:17.220 there's
00:30:17.680 no
00:30:18.340 physical
00:30:18.760 danger
00:30:19.180 involved
00:30:19.560 whatsoever
00:30:19.960 in
00:30:20.120 putting
00:30:20.260 your
00:30:20.400 child
00:30:20.580 up
00:30:20.700 for
00:30:20.820 adoption
00:30:21.160 and
00:30:26.360 most
00:30:26.860 states
00:30:27.200 and
00:30:27.380 this
00:30:27.520 is
00:30:27.620 something
00:30:27.880 that
00:30:28.200 Amy
00:30:28.480 Coney
00:30:28.680 Barrett
00:30:29.020 talked
00:30:29.340 about
00:30:29.600 that
00:30:31.400 most
00:30:31.700 states
00:30:32.060 maybe
00:30:32.320 every
00:30:32.540 state
00:30:32.780 now
00:30:33.040 have
00:30:34.180 laws
00:30:34.560 on
00:30:34.720 the
00:30:34.840 books
00:30:35.140 that
00:30:35.680 make
00:30:36.600 it
00:30:36.780 intentionally
00:30:37.320 very
00:30:37.740 easy
00:30:38.340 for
00:30:39.460 a
00:30:39.720 child
00:30:40.120 for
00:30:40.360 a
00:30:40.940 parent
00:30:41.240 to
00:30:41.520 give
00:30:41.900 their
00:30:42.120 child
00:30:42.560 up
00:30:42.800 for
00:30:44.200 adoption
00:30:44.520 so
00:30:46.520 certainly
00:30:47.180 not
00:30:47.400 dangerous
00:30:47.760 now
00:30:47.960 we
00:30:48.100 compare
00:30:48.360 that
00:30:48.540 to
00:30:48.660 abortion
00:30:49.120 even
00:30:51.620 according
00:30:51.940 to
00:30:52.120 the
00:30:52.300 leftist
00:30:53.160 euphemistic
00:30:54.160 way
00:30:54.400 of
00:30:54.540 talking
00:30:54.920 about
00:30:55.220 it
00:30:55.340 it's
00:30:55.560 a
00:30:55.680 medical
00:30:57.080 procedure
00:30:57.660 it's
00:30:58.440 a
00:30:58.600 surgery
00:30:59.340 and
00:31:00.180 there
00:31:00.280 are
00:31:00.420 always
00:31:00.800 dangers
00:31:01.320 in
00:31:01.580 any
00:31:01.880 surgery
00:31:02.560 and
00:31:04.500 those
00:31:04.660 dangers
00:31:04.920 are
00:31:05.060 going
00:31:05.240 to
00:31:05.380 outweigh
00:31:05.840 bringing
00:31:06.320 your
00:31:06.520 child
00:31:06.740 somewhere
00:31:07.060 to
00:31:07.660 give
00:31:08.360 them
00:31:08.460 up
00:31:08.560 for
00:31:08.640 adoption
00:31:08.960 but
00:31:11.820 this
00:31:12.040 particular
00:31:12.420 surgery
00:31:12.820 is
00:31:12.960 far
00:31:14.600 more
00:31:15.000 dangerous
00:31:15.380 than
00:31:15.560 most
00:31:15.840 we
00:31:17.120 don't
00:31:17.240 talk
00:31:17.680 about
00:31:17.920 that
00:31:18.140 these
00:31:18.520 are
00:31:18.640 women
00:31:18.880 who
00:31:19.240 are
00:31:19.760 erased
00:31:20.640 from
00:31:21.320 the
00:31:21.460 public
00:31:21.780 consciousness
00:31:22.700 and
00:31:22.960 conversation
00:31:23.500 but
00:31:25.640 there
00:31:25.780 are
00:31:25.920 many
00:31:26.200 many
00:31:26.420 women
00:31:26.640 out
00:31:26.840 there
00:31:26.940 thousands
00:31:27.320 and
00:31:27.520 thousands
00:31:27.740 of
00:31:27.900 women
00:31:28.040 out
00:31:28.220 there
00:31:28.320 if
00:31:28.420 not
00:31:28.540 more
00:31:28.760 who
00:31:29.400 have
00:31:29.660 suffered
00:31:30.160 long
00:31:31.320 lasting
00:31:31.820 physical
00:31:32.580 effects
00:31:34.000 of
00:31:34.200 abortion
00:31:34.940 including
00:31:37.020 sometimes
00:31:37.440 permanent
00:31:37.840 infertility
00:31:38.480 and
00:31:38.840 other
00:31:39.260 things
00:31:39.520 as
00:31:39.700 well
00:31:39.840 if
00:31:40.400 you
00:31:40.580 want
00:31:40.720 to
00:31:40.800 know
00:31:40.960 about
00:31:41.220 the
00:31:41.500 dangers
00:31:42.440 of
00:31:42.680 abortion
00:31:43.020 go
00:31:43.320 check
00:31:44.040 in
00:31:44.220 with
00:31:44.440 Gosnell
00:31:45.680 the serial
00:31:46.320 killer
00:31:46.560 up in
00:31:47.260 Philadelphia
00:31:47.760 who's in
00:31:48.060 prison
00:31:48.240 now
00:31:48.480 multiple
00:31:50.640 women
00:31:51.020 were killed
00:31:51.480 by Gosnell
00:31:52.100 and he's
00:31:54.320 not the
00:31:54.680 only one
00:31:55.140 that's
00:31:55.880 done
00:31:56.040 that
00:31:56.260 and then
00:31:57.680 potentially
00:31:58.080 traumatic
00:31:58.700 okay
00:31:59.620 so
00:31:59.940 giving
00:32:02.320 your
00:32:02.500 child
00:32:02.720 up
00:32:02.860 for
00:32:02.980 adoption
00:32:03.380 is
00:32:05.340 that
00:32:05.520 a
00:32:05.660 traumatic
00:32:06.060 event
00:32:06.660 well
00:32:08.180 I
00:32:08.380 could
00:32:08.500 certainly
00:32:08.680 see
00:32:08.880 that
00:32:09.000 it
00:32:09.320 would
00:32:09.720 be
00:32:10.180 no
00:32:11.780 that's
00:32:12.120 I
00:32:12.620 could
00:32:12.880 see
00:32:13.040 the
00:32:13.320 emotional
00:32:13.940 trauma
00:32:14.320 that
00:32:14.440 would
00:32:14.540 be
00:32:14.640 involved
00:32:14.980 in
00:32:15.320 making
00:32:15.500 that
00:32:15.680 decision
00:32:16.000 but
00:32:18.600 let's
00:32:18.840 compare
00:32:19.220 that
00:32:19.560 to
00:32:19.960 killing
00:32:20.480 your
00:32:20.700 child
00:32:21.040 okay
00:32:23.600 because
00:32:24.000 with
00:32:24.320 the
00:32:25.360 regret
00:32:25.840 that
00:32:26.100 comes
00:32:26.360 later
00:32:26.680 you've
00:32:26.960 made
00:32:27.200 a
00:32:27.340 decision
00:32:27.680 that
00:32:27.960 cannot
00:32:28.300 be
00:32:28.620 reversed
00:32:29.340 so
00:32:31.140 on
00:32:31.440 one
00:32:31.740 hand
00:32:32.120 you've
00:32:32.920 given
00:32:33.080 your
00:32:33.240 child
00:32:33.560 to
00:32:33.840 another
00:32:34.180 family
00:32:34.500 that
00:32:34.660 can
00:32:34.800 care
00:32:34.980 for
00:32:35.140 them
00:32:35.320 and
00:32:36.220 wants
00:32:36.460 to
00:32:36.640 care
00:32:36.800 for
00:32:37.120 your
00:32:37.240 child
00:32:37.540 and
00:32:39.840 even
00:32:40.500 in spite
00:32:40.820 of all
00:32:41.120 of the
00:32:41.400 emotional
00:32:41.740 trauma
00:32:41.980 which I'm
00:32:42.340 sure
00:32:42.680 is
00:32:43.720 pronounced
00:32:44.400 you know
00:32:46.320 that your
00:32:46.580 child is
00:32:47.000 out in the
00:32:47.440 world
00:32:47.780 living
00:32:49.000 and there's
00:32:50.840 a chance
00:32:51.260 that they
00:32:51.580 could
00:32:51.780 a very
00:32:52.400 good
00:32:52.600 chance
00:32:53.040 just like
00:32:53.840 anybody
00:32:54.100 else
00:32:54.400 they could
00:32:54.800 go on
00:32:55.160 to live
00:32:55.460 a very
00:32:56.000 happy
00:32:56.300 and fulfilled
00:32:56.680 and joyful
00:32:57.020 life
00:32:57.380 so
00:33:01.020 there's
00:33:01.260 that
00:33:01.640 and then
00:33:03.420 there is
00:33:03.800 removing
00:33:04.240 your
00:33:04.480 child
00:33:04.780 from the
00:33:05.220 world
00:33:05.520 permanently
00:33:06.320 and then
00:33:09.280 you
00:33:09.480 move on
00:33:10.980 from that
00:33:11.540 knowing that
00:33:13.780 your child
00:33:14.100 is nowhere
00:33:15.380 and you
00:33:15.680 can't go
00:33:15.960 back
00:33:16.260 there is
00:33:19.440 a void
00:33:20.100 now where
00:33:20.560 your child
00:33:20.920 once was
00:33:21.720 that will
00:33:22.500 never be
00:33:22.920 filled
00:33:23.180 what's
00:33:25.580 more
00:33:25.760 traumatic
00:33:26.140 we wonder
00:33:26.740 she
00:33:28.520 continues
00:33:29.220 let's
00:33:31.200 see
00:33:31.460 skipping
00:33:32.480 ahead
00:33:32.640 a little
00:33:32.820 bit
00:33:33.100 the
00:33:35.420 right
00:33:35.600 likes
00:33:35.820 to
00:33:35.980 suggest
00:33:36.260 that
00:33:36.440 abortion
00:33:36.740 is a
00:33:37.080 traumatic
00:33:37.460 experience
00:33:38.160 for women
00:33:38.580 a last
00:33:39.020 resort
00:33:39.300 a painful
00:33:39.740 memory
00:33:40.100 but adoption
00:33:41.200 is often
00:33:41.940 just as
00:33:42.540 traumatic
00:33:42.920 as the
00:33:43.280 right
00:33:43.460 thinks
00:33:43.760 abortion
00:33:44.160 is
00:33:44.560 if not
00:33:45.320 more so
00:33:45.820 as a
00:33:46.140 woman
00:33:46.260 has to
00:33:46.580 relinquish
00:33:47.080 not a
00:33:47.440 lump
00:33:47.600 of cells
00:33:48.240 but a
00:33:48.960 fully
00:33:49.180 formed
00:33:49.540 baby
00:33:49.960 she has
00:33:50.620 lived
00:33:50.820 with
00:33:51.020 for nine
00:33:51.400 months
00:33:51.700 I'm a
00:33:53.520 mother
00:33:53.680 myself
00:33:54.040 to an
00:33:54.320 adorable
00:33:54.580 six-year-old
00:33:55.220 self-proclaimed
00:33:55.880 fortnight
00:33:56.920 expert
00:33:57.380 and as
00:33:58.780 of course
00:33:59.580 her six-year-old
00:34:00.200 plays fortnight
00:34:00.880 obviously
00:34:01.420 no big
00:34:03.000 surprise
00:34:03.300 there
00:34:03.620 and as
00:34:05.080 is often
00:34:05.400 the case
00:34:05.840 I did
00:34:06.240 not know
00:34:06.600 why would
00:34:07.080 you
00:34:07.260 this is
00:34:08.880 not the
00:34:09.160 point at
00:34:09.660 all I
00:34:09.940 realize
00:34:10.360 but your
00:34:11.120 six-year-old
00:34:11.980 you have
00:34:12.980 your six-year-old
00:34:13.500 playing fortnight
00:34:14.200 my kids
00:34:16.400 barely know
00:34:16.820 what a
00:34:17.000 video game
00:34:17.420 is
00:34:17.860 okay
00:34:19.840 let's not
00:34:20.120 focus on
00:34:20.440 that
00:34:20.560 and as
00:34:21.120 is often
00:34:21.440 the case
00:34:21.780 I did
00:34:22.080 not know
00:34:22.380 I was
00:34:22.600 pregnant
00:34:22.820 with him
00:34:23.100 until the
00:34:23.420 usual
00:34:23.660 symptoms
00:34:24.000 appeared
00:34:24.260 a few
00:34:24.500 weeks
00:34:24.680 in the
00:34:24.840 pregnancy
00:34:25.120 as anyone
00:34:25.560 who has
00:34:25.800 gestated
00:34:26.240 a human
00:34:26.640 will tell
00:34:27.020 you
00:34:27.200 there's
00:34:27.800 a vast
00:34:28.160 difference
00:34:28.480 between
00:34:28.700 the fourth
00:34:29.100 week of
00:34:29.400 pregnancy
00:34:29.680 and the
00:34:30.020 40th
00:34:30.380 by the
00:34:30.620 40th
00:34:30.960 you're
00:34:31.100 familiar
00:34:31.400 with your
00:34:31.720 baby's
00:34:32.040 regular
00:34:32.360 rhythms
00:34:32.700 of kicking
00:34:33.140 and moving
00:34:33.540 when I
00:34:34.260 awoke
00:34:34.560 my son
00:34:35.060 would wake
00:34:35.840 up
00:34:35.980 shortly
00:34:36.240 after
00:34:36.540 and I'd
00:34:36.880 feel him
00:34:37.180 turning
00:34:37.480 and stretching
00:34:38.000 or less
00:34:38.840 pleasantly
00:34:39.260 jamming
00:34:39.700 his precious
00:34:40.060 little foot
00:34:40.520 into what
00:34:41.340 felt like
00:34:41.700 my cervix
00:34:42.240 this is one
00:34:43.060 of the
00:34:43.220 paradoxes
00:34:43.680 of
00:34:43.780 pregnancy
00:34:44.000 something
00:34:44.300 alien
00:34:44.700 is
00:34:44.880 usurping
00:34:45.300 your body
00:34:45.740 and sapping
00:34:46.320 you of
00:34:46.580 nutrition
00:34:46.940 and energy
00:34:47.480 but you're
00:34:48.180 programmed
00:34:48.600 to gleefully
00:34:49.200 enable it
00:34:49.900 and you become
00:34:50.560 desperately
00:34:51.060 protective
00:34:52.520 of it
00:34:53.080 it
00:34:54.060 she's talking
00:34:54.640 about
00:34:54.840 talking about
00:34:55.160 her own
00:34:55.520 child now
00:34:56.160 and using
00:34:56.700 the word
00:34:57.020 it
00:34:57.300 it's a
00:34:58.800 kind of
00:34:59.140 biological
00:34:59.660 brainwashing
00:35:00.520 and this
00:35:01.200 often happens
00:35:02.080 whether you
00:35:02.640 want to be
00:35:03.060 a parent
00:35:03.400 or not
00:35:03.860 my god
00:35:05.960 I feel so
00:35:08.160 bad for this
00:35:08.620 child
00:35:08.920 your own
00:35:10.760 mother referring
00:35:11.420 to you as
00:35:12.120 as it
00:35:12.980 and saying
00:35:13.940 that her
00:35:14.360 love for
00:35:14.880 her child
00:35:15.420 is the
00:35:17.060 product of
00:35:17.920 biological
00:35:18.620 brainwashing
00:35:19.560 this is how
00:35:23.780 these people
00:35:24.160 see
00:35:24.540 children
00:35:25.480 I said
00:35:26.420 yesterday
00:35:26.700 they really
00:35:27.380 they hate
00:35:28.000 children
00:35:28.780 they hate
00:35:29.140 babies
00:35:29.500 they hate
00:35:30.920 their own
00:35:31.260 kids
00:35:31.580 whatever kids
00:35:33.880 they've allowed
00:35:34.360 to live
00:35:34.920 they hate
00:35:35.420 them
00:35:35.680 and resent
00:35:36.200 them
00:35:36.460 because they
00:35:38.300 see this
00:35:38.700 as a
00:35:38.940 zero-sum
00:35:39.400 game
00:35:39.640 it's an
00:35:41.740 us-or-them
00:35:42.280 kind of
00:35:42.620 thing
00:35:42.840 and children
00:35:44.860 are usurping
00:35:45.820 they're taking
00:35:46.320 away my
00:35:46.760 freedom
00:35:47.140 my liberty
00:35:47.760 they're taking
00:35:48.820 away my
00:35:49.240 autonomy
00:35:49.680 they're a
00:35:50.080 burden
00:35:50.400 that's the
00:35:52.200 way they
00:35:52.420 see it
00:35:52.800 and so as I
00:35:54.240 skim ahead in
00:35:54.760 this in this
00:35:55.160 article I was
00:35:55.680 waiting for
00:35:56.360 her to make
00:35:57.080 the case
00:35:57.460 I mean she's
00:35:57.800 talking about
00:35:58.320 how adoption
00:35:58.760 is better
00:35:59.220 for women
00:35:59.700 which is
00:36:00.360 insane
00:36:00.840 but what
00:36:02.080 about the
00:36:02.440 baby
00:36:02.720 is she
00:36:03.020 going to try
00:36:04.160 to make
00:36:04.320 the case
00:36:04.640 that it's
00:36:04.860 better for
00:36:05.120 the baby
00:36:05.400 and the answer
00:36:06.160 appears to be
00:36:06.680 no because
00:36:07.100 the baby
00:36:07.420 doesn't factor
00:36:07.920 in at all
00:36:08.260 who cares
00:36:08.560 about the
00:36:08.800 baby
00:36:09.000 his needs
00:36:11.800 what's best
00:36:12.780 for him
00:36:13.140 does not
00:36:14.360 factor in
00:36:14.980 we're not
00:36:15.560 talking about
00:36:16.040 it
00:36:16.140 who cares
00:36:16.540 because he's
00:36:19.220 a non-entity
00:36:20.140 a clump
00:36:21.820 of cells
00:36:22.280 as Elizabeth
00:36:23.540 Spire puts
00:36:24.180 it
00:36:24.460 all right
00:36:25.600 let's move
00:36:26.040 forward here
00:36:26.780 Trevor Noah
00:36:28.240 as the kids
00:36:29.240 might say
00:36:30.200 has taken
00:36:31.020 a I guess
00:36:31.640 a bit of a
00:36:32.140 red pill
00:36:32.740 on the
00:36:34.020 question of
00:36:34.540 vaccines
00:36:35.080 let's listen
00:36:35.520 to that
00:36:35.800 so on
00:36:38.180 the one
00:36:38.700 hand
00:36:39.220 almost all
00:36:41.000 the Omicron
00:36:41.940 cases have
00:36:42.680 been mild
00:36:43.300 so far
00:36:44.020 but on
00:36:45.400 the other
00:36:45.720 hand
00:36:46.100 the guy
00:36:47.360 who stands
00:36:47.920 to gain
00:36:48.380 millions
00:36:49.060 of dollars
00:36:49.560 from new
00:36:50.260 vaccines
00:36:50.940 says we
00:36:52.160 need new
00:36:53.180 vaccines
00:36:53.980 huh
00:36:54.900 if we don't
00:36:55.860 make a new
00:36:56.400 vaccine
00:36:56.900 this disease
00:36:57.640 could be
00:36:58.320 with us
00:36:58.720 Ferrari
00:36:59.280 I mean
00:37:00.000 forever
00:37:00.480 sorry I was
00:37:01.300 thinking of
00:37:01.740 something else
00:37:02.460 now look
00:37:03.040 I'm not saying
00:37:03.640 that the CEO
00:37:04.080 of Moderna
00:37:04.520 is lying
00:37:04.840 I'm not saying
00:37:05.260 that at all
00:37:05.560 I'm just
00:37:06.000 saying I
00:37:06.880 don't think
00:37:07.180 he's the
00:37:07.580 most objective
00:37:08.200 source on
00:37:08.820 this topic
00:37:09.240 it amazes
00:37:12.600 me it's the
00:37:13.000 same with
00:37:13.280 watching the
00:37:13.680 view and I
00:37:14.020 watched the
00:37:14.540 clips of the
00:37:15.320 view I've
00:37:15.640 never seen a
00:37:16.020 whole episode
00:37:16.460 only see the
00:37:17.820 clips and
00:37:18.480 also the
00:37:19.100 daily show
00:37:19.860 now in
00:37:21.320 the post
00:37:21.740 Jon Stewart
00:37:22.420 era do
00:37:24.020 people actually
00:37:24.600 sit and watch
00:37:25.220 that because I
00:37:27.200 agree with what
00:37:27.840 he's saying
00:37:28.380 but even in
00:37:30.640 agreeing I find
00:37:31.720 myself cringing
00:37:32.600 because of that
00:37:33.160 terrible Ferrari
00:37:33.960 joke
00:37:34.400 this is
00:37:36.620 supposed to be
00:37:37.300 a comedy
00:37:37.620 show
00:37:37.920 but it
00:37:39.860 took him
00:37:40.180 you know
00:37:40.440 what is
00:37:40.700 it
00:37:40.860 so we're
00:37:41.460 18 months
00:37:42.100 I mean
00:37:42.220 we're almost
00:37:42.540 two years
00:37:42.960 into this
00:37:43.420 and he's
00:37:45.120 finally realizing
00:37:46.460 that there
00:37:47.660 might be some
00:37:48.160 conflicts of
00:37:48.700 interest here
00:37:49.240 is he going to
00:37:51.720 get dinged
00:37:52.200 is this
00:37:52.440 misinformation
00:37:53.140 is this
00:37:54.180 COVID
00:37:55.680 trutherism
00:37:56.480 it should be
00:37:59.340 a pretty
00:37:59.800 obvious
00:38:00.140 conclusion
00:38:00.600 here
00:38:00.880 that there
00:38:02.180 are conflicts
00:38:03.060 of interest
00:38:03.640 that's a
00:38:07.800 financial
00:38:08.200 reality
00:38:08.700 you have to
00:38:10.780 take that
00:38:11.120 reality into
00:38:11.840 account
00:38:12.260 every day in
00:38:13.540 your life
00:38:13.900 you know
00:38:16.360 you go to
00:38:16.940 you take your
00:38:17.980 car to the
00:38:18.300 mechanic
00:38:18.620 it doesn't
00:38:19.920 mean you
00:38:20.160 can't trust
00:38:20.820 any mechanics
00:38:21.640 but what you
00:38:22.040 have to
00:38:22.600 remember is
00:38:23.660 that they
00:38:24.180 are getting
00:38:24.620 paid
00:38:25.160 obviously
00:38:25.640 and so
00:38:25.980 they have
00:38:26.360 a vested
00:38:26.840 interest
00:38:27.380 in convincing
00:38:28.400 you that
00:38:29.080 you need
00:38:29.380 work on
00:38:29.800 your car
00:38:30.080 that you
00:38:30.260 might not
00:38:30.580 need
00:38:30.860 that's not
00:38:33.920 a conspiracy
00:38:34.460 theory
00:38:35.060 but what
00:38:36.340 we're being
00:38:36.640 told is that
00:38:37.060 everything you
00:38:38.000 just heard
00:38:38.300 from Trevor
00:38:38.660 Noah I'm
00:38:39.060 sure he'll
00:38:39.420 get a
00:38:39.680 pass
00:38:40.080 but what
00:38:41.660 you just
00:38:41.960 heard there
00:38:42.300 is a
00:38:42.760 conspiracy
00:38:43.200 theory
00:38:43.460 no it's
00:38:43.780 not
00:38:44.040 this is a
00:38:46.100 recognition
00:38:46.520 of human
00:38:47.000 nature
00:38:47.320 when there's
00:38:48.860 money on
00:38:49.380 the line
00:38:49.740 even if it's
00:38:50.200 not that
00:38:50.680 much money
00:38:51.220 there's an
00:38:52.500 incentive
00:38:52.880 for people
00:38:53.500 to be
00:38:53.960 less than
00:38:54.560 honest
00:38:54.980 that's the
00:38:56.840 case for
00:38:57.260 a car
00:38:57.800 mechanic
00:38:58.280 you need
00:38:59.260 new tires
00:38:59.840 or something
00:39:00.380 we just
00:39:01.680 had this
00:39:02.000 last week
00:39:02.520 you need
00:39:02.940 one new
00:39:03.320 tire
00:39:03.620 you take
00:39:04.140 the car
00:39:04.480 and you
00:39:04.620 get one
00:39:04.840 new tire
00:39:05.120 and what
00:39:05.940 do you
00:39:06.080 know
00:39:06.240 they tell
00:39:06.560 you
00:39:06.640 you know
00:39:06.800 what
00:39:06.880 actually
00:39:07.080 you need
00:39:07.360 all four
00:39:08.400 new tires
00:39:08.760 and we
00:39:09.420 don't have
00:39:09.700 the used
00:39:10.320 tires
00:39:10.560 that you
00:39:10.720 need
00:39:10.840 so you
00:39:11.000 need
00:39:11.100 to get
00:39:11.240 brand
00:39:11.460 new
00:39:11.600 ones
00:39:11.800 that'll
00:39:12.220 be
00:39:12.320 five times
00:39:12.820 as
00:39:12.940 expensive
00:39:13.260 now let's
00:39:15.580 go over
00:39:15.820 to the
00:39:15.980 pharmaceutical
00:39:16.400 industry
00:39:16.900 where there
00:39:17.280 are billions
00:39:18.020 and billions
00:39:18.720 of dollars
00:39:19.240 at stake
00:39:19.720 we think
00:39:21.700 that maybe
00:39:22.280 there might
00:39:22.660 be a
00:39:22.880 conflict
00:39:23.140 of interest
00:39:23.620 and that's
00:39:24.080 something
00:39:24.300 to keep
00:39:24.580 in mind
00:39:24.960 that's
00:39:26.820 that's
00:39:27.160 the grain
00:39:27.600 of salt
00:39:28.200 that you
00:39:28.800 apply to
00:39:29.560 everything
00:39:29.920 they tell
00:39:30.380 you
00:39:30.620 all right
00:39:32.360 next
00:39:32.640 Alec Baldwin
00:39:33.420 was interviewed
00:39:34.360 by George
00:39:35.160 Snuffleupagus
00:39:35.660 on ABC
00:39:36.640 and we'll
00:39:37.820 play just
00:39:38.180 one clip
00:39:38.640 of this
00:39:39.240 maybe two
00:39:40.740 probably one
00:39:41.360 he's asked
00:39:42.740 about whether
00:39:43.620 he feels
00:39:44.000 any guilt
00:39:44.560 for having
00:39:45.180 shot and
00:39:45.740 killed a
00:39:46.040 woman
00:39:46.240 which he
00:39:47.620 did do
00:39:48.120 and he
00:39:48.900 doesn't deny
00:39:49.360 it
00:39:49.580 now at one
00:39:50.580 point in
00:39:50.800 the interview
00:39:51.040 he denies
00:39:51.580 pulling the
00:39:52.100 trigger
00:39:52.440 he says
00:39:53.820 he doesn't
00:39:55.960 really explain
00:39:56.960 what happened
00:39:57.620 I mean how
00:39:58.000 did the gun
00:39:58.400 go off
00:39:58.800 if you didn't
00:39:59.140 pull the
00:39:59.400 trigger
00:39:59.600 again if you
00:40:02.420 listen to
00:40:02.800 corporate media
00:40:03.240 you might
00:40:03.660 think that
00:40:04.160 that sort
00:40:04.540 of thing
00:40:04.800 happens
00:40:05.160 because you
00:40:05.760 think that
00:40:06.220 guns are
00:40:07.360 responsible for
00:40:08.180 murder and
00:40:08.700 gun violence
00:40:09.220 and everything
00:40:09.600 that's why
00:40:09.900 we call it
00:40:10.300 gun violence
00:40:11.000 it's not
00:40:11.340 violence
00:40:11.700 perpetrated by
00:40:12.260 people but
00:40:12.940 by the tools
00:40:13.520 they're using
00:40:14.020 and so you
00:40:14.840 might think
00:40:15.160 that guns
00:40:15.660 just have a
00:40:16.400 mind of their
00:40:16.820 own and they
00:40:17.160 go off all
00:40:17.620 the time
00:40:17.960 but that's
00:40:18.800 not the
00:40:19.320 case
00:40:19.560 guns go
00:40:20.060 off if
00:40:20.340 you pull
00:40:20.520 the trigger
00:40:20.800 he says
00:40:22.200 he didn't
00:40:22.500 pull it
00:40:22.860 and maybe
00:40:24.240 that's why
00:40:24.620 he now says
00:40:25.340 that he also
00:40:25.880 feels no guilt
00:40:26.740 at all for
00:40:27.180 what happened
00:40:27.580 your emotions
00:40:29.460 your emotions are
00:40:29.680 so clearly so
00:40:30.620 right there on
00:40:32.240 the surface
00:40:32.900 you felt shock
00:40:34.400 you felt anger
00:40:35.980 you felt sadness
00:40:37.960 do you feel guilt
00:40:39.600 no no
00:40:41.180 I feel that there
00:40:42.760 is I feel that
00:40:44.280 that that
00:40:45.180 someone is
00:40:47.040 responsible for
00:40:48.680 what happened
00:40:49.240 and I can't say
00:40:50.100 who that is but
00:40:50.740 I know it's not
00:40:51.260 me
00:40:51.580 Baldwin now awaiting
00:40:53.380 the outcome of the
00:40:54.280 sheriff's investigation
00:40:55.280 hoping whatever it
00:40:57.000 uncovers helps to
00:40:57.860 ensure a tragedy
00:40:58.760 like this
00:40:59.340 never happens
00:41:00.420 again
00:41:00.840 what do we come
00:41:04.160 out of this
00:41:04.660 learning
00:41:05.060 what do we come
00:41:06.820 out of it
00:41:07.120 what changes
00:41:07.700 can be made
00:41:08.320 because where
00:41:08.920 you have a
00:41:09.480 person
00:41:09.880 where as I
00:41:11.900 said this is
00:41:12.400 one in a
00:41:13.040 billion
00:41:13.340 that someone
00:41:15.080 puts a real
00:41:16.320 bullet in the
00:41:17.380 gun
00:41:17.660 that never
00:41:19.120 happens
00:41:19.720 and the idea
00:41:20.980 that a real
00:41:21.580 bullet was in
00:41:22.320 that gun
00:41:22.680 would come
00:41:23.040 out of that
00:41:23.340 gun
00:41:23.540 and kill
00:41:23.840 that was
00:41:24.880 not even
00:41:25.920 in the realm
00:41:26.380 of possibility
00:41:27.040 and that's
00:41:28.180 the thing
00:41:28.600 that they
00:41:28.960 must find
00:41:29.800 out
00:41:30.060 is where
00:41:30.620 who brought
00:41:31.500 bullets onto
00:41:32.100 the set
00:41:32.620 amazing
00:41:34.260 what do we
00:41:35.320 learn he asks
00:41:36.040 what do we
00:41:36.520 learn from this
00:41:36.920 well one thing
00:41:37.280 we learn is
00:41:37.640 don't give
00:41:38.000 Alec Baldwin
00:41:38.440 a gun
00:41:38.780 that's one
00:41:39.360 thing we
00:41:39.600 learn
00:41:39.780 and then he
00:41:41.180 actually says
00:41:41.800 this is one
00:41:42.520 of the most
00:41:42.760 honest things
00:41:43.480 I think you'll
00:41:43.860 ever hear from
00:41:44.300 a Hollywood
00:41:44.600 actor
00:41:44.900 and the only
00:41:46.720 honest thing
00:41:47.240 in that entire
00:41:47.780 interview that
00:41:48.140 you heard
00:41:48.380 he says
00:41:50.860 I don't
00:41:53.760 know who's
00:41:54.220 responsible
00:41:54.860 someone is
00:41:56.340 responsible
00:41:56.800 I don't
00:41:57.260 know who
00:41:57.720 but I
00:41:58.620 just know
00:41:59.020 it's not
00:41:59.360 me
00:41:59.680 is that
00:42:03.160 not a
00:42:03.560 perfect
00:42:03.920 distillation
00:42:04.740 of the
00:42:05.440 way these
00:42:06.320 people go
00:42:06.740 about life
00:42:07.160 and so many
00:42:07.620 others
00:42:07.860 I don't
00:42:09.000 know who's
00:42:09.280 responsible
00:42:09.660 for this
00:42:10.200 you know
00:42:11.680 someone's
00:42:12.660 accountable
00:42:13.020 all I know
00:42:14.120 is that it's
00:42:14.460 not my
00:42:14.940 fault
00:42:15.200 I was the
00:42:16.820 one holding
00:42:17.600 the gun
00:42:18.220 that went
00:42:20.300 off
00:42:20.780 somehow
00:42:21.240 mysteriously
00:42:21.860 probably
00:42:22.160 because I
00:42:22.560 moved my
00:42:23.240 finger in a
00:42:23.720 certain way
00:42:24.120 while pressing
00:42:24.840 the trigger
00:42:25.220 I'm not
00:42:26.700 responsible for
00:42:27.220 that at all
00:42:27.780 he says
00:42:28.220 okay we'll
00:42:30.220 play one more
00:42:30.580 clip he says
00:42:31.160 I guess
00:42:32.200 explaining why
00:42:33.460 he's not
00:42:33.960 responsible
00:42:34.560 then the
00:42:35.780 question is
00:42:36.220 raised about
00:42:36.740 well why
00:42:37.060 didn't you
00:42:37.320 check the
00:42:37.740 gun when
00:42:38.440 it was
00:42:38.760 handed to
00:42:39.260 you and
00:42:39.760 he says
00:42:40.260 that hey
00:42:40.940 actors that's
00:42:41.820 not the
00:42:42.040 actor's job
00:42:42.620 to check
00:42:43.400 the gun
00:42:43.700 how do you
00:42:45.520 respond to
00:42:46.080 actors like
00:42:46.620 George Clooney
00:42:47.220 who say
00:42:47.560 that every
00:42:48.000 time they
00:42:48.400 were handed
00:42:48.700 a gun
00:42:49.000 they checked
00:42:49.440 it themselves
00:42:50.040 well there
00:42:50.660 were a lot
00:42:51.120 of people
00:42:51.540 who felt
00:42:52.340 it necessary
00:42:52.880 to contribute
00:42:53.560 some comment
00:42:54.220 to the
00:42:54.500 situation
00:42:54.920 which really
00:42:55.480 didn't help
00:42:55.880 the situation
00:42:56.540 at all
00:42:57.760 you have
00:42:59.120 your if your
00:42:59.780 protocol is you
00:43:00.480 checking the gun
00:43:00.980 every time
00:43:01.240 well good for you
00:43:01.940 good for you
00:43:02.880 you know I mean I
00:43:04.000 probably handled
00:43:04.620 weapons as much
00:43:05.760 as any other actor
00:43:06.500 in films
00:43:07.100 with an average
00:43:08.720 career
00:43:09.240 again shooting
00:43:10.300 or being shot
00:43:11.040 by someone
00:43:11.500 and in that
00:43:12.700 time I had a
00:43:13.400 protocol and it
00:43:14.000 never let me
00:43:14.560 down
00:43:14.900 why did you
00:43:16.820 choose in your
00:43:17.880 40 years not
00:43:19.020 to check the
00:43:19.920 gun yourself
00:43:20.520 what I was
00:43:22.060 taught by someone
00:43:22.840 years ago was
00:43:23.920 as I said
00:43:25.040 if I if I
00:43:26.080 took a gun
00:43:26.620 and I popped
00:43:27.860 a clip out of a
00:43:28.540 gun or I
00:43:28.940 manipulated the
00:43:29.560 chamber of a
00:43:30.080 gun they would
00:43:30.900 take the gun
00:43:31.320 away from me
00:43:31.700 and redo it
00:43:32.340 the proper
00:43:33.580 person said
00:43:33.980 don't do that
00:43:34.980 when I was
00:43:36.000 young and
00:43:36.880 they'd say
00:43:37.260 one thing you
00:43:38.260 would need to
00:43:38.580 understand is we
00:43:39.200 don't want the
00:43:39.900 actor to be the
00:43:40.780 last line of
00:43:41.480 defense against a
00:43:42.820 catastrophic breach
00:43:43.760 of safety with
00:43:44.460 the gun my
00:43:46.080 job they told
00:43:46.920 me man or
00:43:47.540 woman my job
00:43:49.240 is to make sure
00:43:49.880 the gun is safe
00:43:50.520 and then I hand
00:43:51.000 you the gun and
00:43:51.440 I declare the
00:43:51.960 gun safe the
00:43:52.660 crews not relying
00:43:53.420 on you to say
00:43:54.180 that it's safe
00:43:54.900 they're relying on
00:43:55.860 me to say that
00:43:56.460 it's safe
00:43:56.940 no this is not
00:43:59.540 just so you
00:43:59.940 know he says
00:44:01.300 well hey if
00:44:01.820 those were your
00:44:03.400 personal protocols
00:44:04.380 that you check the
00:44:05.160 gun that you're
00:44:05.580 handed then good
00:44:06.600 for you
00:44:07.200 now we all have
00:44:08.700 our own we all
00:44:09.220 have our own
00:44:09.640 protocols for guns
00:44:10.700 no we don't
00:44:12.100 there is a
00:44:13.740 universal standards
00:44:15.560 of gun safety
00:44:16.420 when it comes
00:44:17.960 you know across
00:44:19.080 the entire world
00:44:19.760 universal gun
00:44:20.660 safety standards
00:44:21.260 not always
00:44:22.300 followed as
00:44:23.520 evidenced by
00:44:24.020 Alec Baldwin
00:44:24.520 but they exist
00:44:25.420 and one of them
00:44:25.860 is that you
00:44:27.320 always check it
00:44:28.080 always check it
00:44:29.620 and you never
00:44:32.140 point the gun
00:44:32.940 at anyone or
00:44:35.380 anything you
00:44:35.820 don't want to
00:44:36.360 shoot that's
00:44:37.780 another one
00:44:38.320 universal standards
00:44:40.360 so all he's
00:44:42.420 telling I can't
00:44:43.200 believe this guy
00:44:43.800 is a Hollywood
00:44:44.500 actor insanely
00:44:46.080 rich I'm sure
00:44:46.860 he's got all
00:44:47.300 he's got lawyers
00:44:48.040 I'm sure he has
00:44:49.440 a team of 50
00:44:50.700 lawyers right now
00:44:51.620 on the case
00:44:52.240 here and they
00:44:53.540 let him do this
00:44:54.160 interview because
00:44:56.080 his excuse
00:44:56.860 basically is that
00:44:57.900 he's been reckless
00:44:58.560 for 40 years and
00:45:00.240 so why not be
00:45:00.740 reckless now
00:45:01.260 and he says
00:45:04.660 that well you
00:45:05.260 don't want the
00:45:05.660 actor to be the
00:45:06.140 last line of
00:45:06.640 defense that's
00:45:08.340 yeah that's true
00:45:09.620 I mean you
00:45:10.040 you never want
00:45:10.540 to be in a
00:45:10.840 situation where
00:45:11.440 someone hands you
00:45:12.000 a gun and says
00:45:12.580 that it's not
00:45:13.120 loaded but it
00:45:13.700 is that's that's
00:45:15.520 that's you never
00:45:16.440 you never want
00:45:17.020 that you don't
00:45:18.600 want the actor to
00:45:19.240 be the last line
00:45:19.720 of defense but
00:45:20.960 it's better than
00:45:22.120 the alternative
00:45:22.780 which is that the
00:45:23.880 actor doesn't act
00:45:24.620 as that last line
00:45:25.400 of defense at all
00:45:25.920 and just shoots
00:45:26.620 the gun and
00:45:27.360 kill somebody
00:45:27.820 but he says that
00:45:30.820 this is we're
00:45:33.160 not helping with
00:45:33.900 our opinions
00:45:34.560 can you imagine
00:45:37.140 saying that you
00:45:38.000 shoot and kill
00:45:38.780 someone and
00:45:40.440 then other
00:45:40.780 people criticize
00:45:41.600 you and you
00:45:43.840 kind of turn
00:45:44.220 your nose up
00:45:44.720 and say your
00:45:45.960 opinions aren't
00:45:46.520 helping the
00:45:46.920 situation my
00:45:50.540 god no
00:45:52.000 surprise though
00:45:52.440 to have this
00:45:52.940 kind of narcissism
00:45:53.720 in a Hollywood
00:45:54.060 actor I suppose
00:45:54.780 all right let's
00:45:55.600 get now to the
00:45:56.260 comment section
00:45:56.820 resident wiseacre
00:46:08.880 says when people
00:46:10.840 start adding
00:46:11.440 qualifiers to
00:46:12.420 what makes one
00:46:13.220 alive then we
00:46:14.400 can only assume
00:46:15.000 that they would
00:46:15.400 never apply those
00:46:16.180 same qualifiers to
00:46:17.000 themselves yeah as
00:46:18.000 we just talked
00:46:19.040 about that of
00:46:19.680 course is the
00:46:20.800 case every single
00:46:21.380 every single pro
00:46:22.040 abortion person is
00:46:23.520 quite happy that
00:46:24.400 their own arguments
00:46:25.260 were not applied
00:46:25.960 to them because
00:46:27.600 they but it's
00:46:29.140 they're an
00:46:29.780 exception because
00:46:30.280 they are important
00:46:31.120 people and the
00:46:31.740 world desperately
00:46:32.340 needed them the
00:46:34.320 world desperately
00:46:34.880 needed the
00:46:35.340 contributions of
00:46:36.100 one whoopie
00:46:36.780 goldberg and so
00:46:38.160 of course she
00:46:38.560 should not have
00:46:38.960 been aborted but
00:46:39.660 but all these
00:46:40.340 other babies
00:46:41.140 clumps of cells
00:46:41.720 who cares
00:46:42.140 kill we got
00:46:42.980 killed 60
00:46:43.520 million of them
00:46:43.960 let's kill
00:46:44.460 another 60
00:46:44.940 million means
00:46:45.460 nothing
00:46:45.800 Kayla says I
00:46:48.240 was at the
00:46:48.640 SLU talk sorry
00:46:49.800 the SLU talk
00:46:50.680 I was at the
00:46:52.180 SLU talk and I
00:46:53.200 knew you were
00:46:53.660 serious when you
00:46:54.260 said you tried to
00:46:54.840 talk to the
00:46:55.200 protesters on the
00:46:55.860 way home I
00:46:56.200 tried to convince
00:46:56.620 my mom who
00:46:57.480 came with me
00:46:58.000 that's that's
00:46:59.160 something you
00:46:59.540 would do but
00:47:00.660 she isn't sweet
00:47:01.220 baby gang like
00:47:01.900 me and she said
00:47:02.480 it was too
00:47:02.800 dangerous for you
00:47:03.440 to confront the
00:47:04.020 crazies and was
00:47:05.060 so sure you were
00:47:05.720 kidding I was
00:47:06.860 happy to rub it
00:47:07.480 in when the
00:47:08.020 footage was posted
00:47:08.740 well you know I
00:47:12.240 would ban your
00:47:12.760 mom from the
00:47:13.320 show for that but
00:47:14.160 it sounds like she
00:47:14.600 doesn't watch
00:47:14.920 anyway and also I
00:47:15.820 can't blame her
00:47:16.660 as a mom for
00:47:19.100 feeling that way
00:47:20.260 you know that this
00:47:21.240 would be a very
00:47:21.680 stupid and reckless
00:47:23.220 thing to do there's
00:47:23.920 no way he would
00:47:24.380 have done that
00:47:24.900 but of course I
00:47:26.420 did do it and I
00:47:28.680 will admit that
00:47:29.740 you know some of
00:47:31.040 the women in my
00:47:31.580 life were perhaps
00:47:32.840 not huge fans of
00:47:34.940 that decision on my
00:47:35.740 part so I'll let
00:47:37.420 your mom off the
00:47:38.660 hook Jessica says
00:47:41.040 Matt you
00:47:42.120 scallywag I was at
00:47:43.440 SLU yesterday for
00:47:44.760 your event garbed in
00:47:45.800 my sweet baby gang
00:47:46.720 t-shirt for which I
00:47:48.300 paid roughly four
00:47:49.200 thousand nine
00:47:49.780 hundred and eighty
00:47:50.240 two dollars and you
00:47:51.420 didn't even stick
00:47:52.000 around to take
00:47:52.580 pictures or sign
00:47:53.420 merch this is an
00:47:54.840 outrage and I
00:47:55.920 demand you give me
00:47:56.680 your home address so
00:47:57.640 that I can send my
00:47:58.260 SPG shirt to be
00:47:59.620 autographed in fact I
00:48:01.640 did I was there I
00:48:02.640 did stick around and
00:48:03.340 we were doing pictures
00:48:04.040 and everything I
00:48:04.540 don't know where you
00:48:05.140 were okay I was
00:48:06.600 waiting around waiting
00:48:07.220 around for you Jessica
00:48:07.880 you didn't show up so
00:48:09.120 you're banned from the
00:48:09.960 show I hate to say
00:48:11.140 Clint says as a
00:48:14.340 defense contractor I
00:48:15.540 too travel a lot and
00:48:16.840 spend many nights in
00:48:17.600 hotels my greatest
00:48:18.440 wish is to be in the
00:48:19.200 room next door and
00:48:20.080 hear you do your
00:48:20.720 show it would be
00:48:22.660 good to have someone
00:48:23.100 friendly next door I
00:48:23.860 guess I do think about
00:48:25.020 that every time I'm
00:48:25.500 doing the show because
00:48:26.080 I'm always shouting
00:48:26.680 when I do the show
00:48:27.260 and that's my that's
00:48:28.940 my camera voice and
00:48:30.080 I'm always thinking
00:48:30.820 that you know the
00:48:31.260 walls are thin at
00:48:32.400 hotels and I always
00:48:33.960 feel sorry for the
00:48:34.680 people around us who
00:48:35.360 can certainly hear the
00:48:36.140 entire thing why
00:48:37.400 should I feel sorry
00:48:37.840 for them they get a
00:48:38.440 sneak preview of the
00:48:39.980 show and another
00:48:44.240 comment says does your
00:48:45.140 makeup artist get her
00:48:46.640 own hotel suite when
00:48:47.700 you're traveling no
00:48:49.180 makeup artist is Sean
00:48:50.680 my producer when we're
00:48:51.400 traveling and we don't
00:48:52.360 talk about it we don't
00:48:54.920 talk about it it's not
00:48:55.800 discussed this is not
00:48:58.080 something we'll ever
00:48:58.480 discuss again as you
00:48:59.660 know we don't talk
00:49:00.260 about the fact that
00:49:01.560 sweet daddy wears
00:49:02.120 makeup we don't talk
00:49:05.580 about it and now
00:49:06.720 everyone's favorite time
00:49:07.600 the time for the

00:49:17.560 don't know if this is
00:49:18.760 true or not but I
00:49:19.180 got to think we have
00:49:20.080 one of the the fastest
00:49:21.240 selling children's books
00:49:23.040 ever I don't know as
00:49:24.960 long as we're not
00:49:25.280 carrying counting Harry
00:49:26.020 Potter as a children's
00:49:26.740 book then maybe I can
00:49:27.780 possibly make that
00:49:28.680 claim but either way we

00:49:57.920 immediately now let's get
00:49:58.940 to our daily
00:49:59.320 cancellation
00:49:59.700 you know I am I am no
00:50:06.220 historian but one thing
00:50:07.400 I have noticed when I
00:50:08.780 read about human
00:50:09.340 civilizations of the past
00:50:10.440 is that they were all
00:50:11.760 comprised of humans
00:50:12.760 seems evident for my
00:50:14.240 study of the subject that
00:50:15.160 you can't have a human
00:50:15.900 civilization without
00:50:16.620 humans the most basic
00:50:18.080 purpose of a civilization
00:50:18.960 is to propagate itself
00:50:20.380 not the only purpose but
00:50:21.340 one of the most basic
00:50:22.000 just as the most basic
00:50:23.700 biological purpose of
00:50:25.440 each individual human is
00:50:26.980 to reproduce so it
00:50:28.540 follows that a
00:50:29.100 civilization which gives
00:50:30.080 up on producing humans
00:50:31.140 will inevitably collapse
00:50:32.480 and that's why I am
00:50:34.220 worried about the trend
00:50:35.700 in the west towards
00:50:36.580 childish
00:50:37.040 childlessness and
00:50:38.600 childishness I guess as
00:50:40.120 our fertility rate drops
00:50:41.120 below replacement level we
00:50:42.240 more and more resemble a
00:50:43.160 society that has basically
00:50:44.120 given up on itself we are
00:50:46.200 people who have lost
00:50:47.260 interest in people a
00:50:49.320 civilization that has
00:50:50.140 despaired of itself a
00:50:52.360 survey from Pew Research
00:50:53.400 Center this week provides
00:50:54.260 more detail on this trend
00:50:55.360 MSN reports quote a
00:50:56.880 growing share of US adults
00:50:57.900 who aren't already parents
00:50:59.020 say they probably won't
00:50:59.800 have children citing reasons
00:51:01.320 such as apathy financial
00:51:02.580 instability or the lack of a
00:51:03.800 partner a new survey from
00:51:05.960 the Pew Research Center
00:51:06.740 found that 44% of non
00:51:08.500 parents ages 18 to 49
00:51:10.120 says it's not too likely or
00:51:12.180 not at all likely that they
00:51:13.340 will have children someday
00:51:14.440 an increase of seven
00:51:15.320 percentage points from the
00:51:16.700 37% who said the same in
00:51:18.060 2018 the survey doesn't
00:51:19.700 bode well for a reversal of
00:51:20.840 the downward trend in US
00:51:22.000 fertility rates which have
00:51:22.840 been hammered by the public
00:51:23.740 health and economic crises
00:51:24.740 caused by the pandemic the
00:51:26.520 number of babies born in the
00:51:27.460 country fell 4% to about
00:51:28.780 3.6 million in 2020 the
00:51:30.660 largest decline since 1973
00:51:32.360 although the reasons for not
00:51:34.220 having children vary sharply
00:51:35.380 the main one given by
00:51:36.720 childless adults is simply
00:51:38.400 that they don't want any
00:51:39.380 other reasons given include
00:51:41.080 medical had for 19% and
00:51:43.200 financial at 17% about 15%
00:51:45.200 cite the lack of a partner
00:51:46.160 10% said it was the age of
00:51:47.500 their partner and 9% blame
00:51:48.720 the state of the world
00:51:49.620 roughly 1 in 20 cite
00:51:51.460 environmental factors
00:51:52.460 including climate change as
00:51:53.500 the reasons behind their
00:51:54.720 desire to not have a child
00:51:55.760 which only just supports
00:51:57.260 what I've said before that
00:51:58.140 like no one actually cares
00:51:59.040 about climate change
00:51:59.920 continuing among adults
00:52:03.820 under 40 who are already
00:52:05.000 parents about one quarter
00:52:06.160 don't expect to have more
00:52:07.500 children due to the financial
00:52:08.900 costs involved while 3 in 10
00:52:10.880 say they're too old
00:52:11.800 okay so the survey says
00:52:14.180 that 17% cite financial
00:52:16.260 concerns for their decision
00:52:17.440 to remain childless indefinitely
00:52:19.080 but I would guess that the
00:52:20.480 real portion is much higher
00:52:21.640 than that
00:52:22.020 I'm not sure I've ever spoken
00:52:24.140 to a childless adult about
00:52:25.700 this subject without them
00:52:26.780 mentioning finances as at
00:52:28.020 least one of the reasons for
00:52:29.280 their childless lifestyle
00:52:30.980 choice
00:52:31.400 so I think it's worth
00:52:32.680 responding to that specific
00:52:34.380 objection in some detail
00:52:36.180 first of all it's almost
00:52:38.560 certainly not true that you
00:52:40.460 can't afford to have kids
00:52:41.420 because there's no income
00:52:43.440 requirement for parenthood you
00:52:44.520 don't need to pay any
00:52:45.380 monthly subscription fee
00:52:46.600 plenty of people poorer than
00:52:49.340 you not only have kids but
00:52:50.980 have them and live quite
00:52:52.100 happily and comfortably
00:52:52.900 you know it's in in many ways
00:52:56.980 having kids is about as
00:52:59.240 expensive as you make it
00:53:00.480 you have a whole and there
00:53:03.060 there are expenses that come up
00:53:04.380 obviously as a parent that you
00:53:05.400 have no control over
00:53:06.180 but on a day-to-day basis
00:53:07.880 you have a whole lot of
00:53:09.400 leeway in how expensive this
00:53:11.180 is going to be
00:53:11.820 just like you have a leeway in
00:53:14.160 how expensive your own life is
00:53:15.500 going to be
00:53:16.000 so it's not that you can't
00:53:18.080 afford children it's that you
00:53:19.000 can't afford your current
00:53:19.940 lifestyle once you have added
00:53:21.660 children into the bargain
00:53:22.960 so it's a matter of priority
00:53:24.800 not raw cost per se
00:53:26.580 but all of life is a series of
00:53:29.160 trade-offs and this is no
00:53:30.180 exception in this case
00:53:31.020 the trade-off is more material
00:53:33.120 possessions and financial
00:53:34.140 security in exchange for being
00:53:35.720 alone and leaving no lasting
00:53:37.260 legacy when you die
00:53:38.160 will your material possessions
00:53:40.260 that your stuff your inanimate
00:53:42.420 objects will all of us bring
00:53:44.420 you the kind of joy and
00:53:45.640 fulfillment that you can derive
00:53:47.260 from a family given that joy and
00:53:50.000 fulfillment are what we all
00:53:51.020 fundamentally desire and
00:53:52.080 pursue this is the big question
00:53:53.920 and I think the answer is no
00:53:55.520 I'll put it to you this way
00:53:57.420 what you know I was traveling
00:53:58.480 again this week when I'm on the
00:54:00.420 road I miss my kids and my wife
00:54:01.900 I don't miss the stuff at my
00:54:03.920 house my wife sends me
00:54:06.180 pictures of the kids when I'm
00:54:07.460 gone she doesn't send me
00:54:08.260 pictures of the couch or the TV
00:54:10.360 there's a connection with other
00:54:12.580 humans with your family your
00:54:13.780 children your wife that brings
00:54:15.000 you a sort of joy and purpose
00:54:16.220 that you just can't find
00:54:17.620 anywhere else
00:54:18.160 parenthood is also
00:54:19.520 transformational having kids
00:54:21.120 changes you for the better
00:54:22.240 or at least it should I mean it
00:54:24.980 doesn't for everyone but it
00:54:25.900 should it gives you the
00:54:27.400 opportunity for that maybe we
00:54:28.820 should say there are very few
00:54:30.700 like threshold moments in your
00:54:32.360 life where something happens a
00:54:34.380 change occurs you walk through a
00:54:35.760 door and you're never the same
00:54:36.980 again there are plenty of
00:54:38.260 moments where you think
00:54:39.160 everything is changing and
00:54:40.460 you're changing but you're not
00:54:41.640 so you go on vacation and you
00:54:44.020 travel and it's amazing and you
00:54:45.680 feel like it's changed your
00:54:47.240 perspective on life and then
00:54:49.300 within 30 36 hours of being home
00:54:50.960 you're the same person again but
00:54:52.840 having kids is different that's
00:54:54.600 one of those crossing the
00:54:55.500 Rubicon type moments should you
00:54:58.080 forfeit that for monetary
00:54:59.660 reasons another thing to keep
00:55:02.000 in mind is that you may take a
00:55:03.080 step back in lifestyle when you
00:55:04.260 have kids but that's that's not
00:55:05.480 necessarily a permanent
00:55:06.400 situation I'm in a much better
00:55:07.620 financial position better
00:55:08.880 position in terms of lifestyle
00:55:10.060 today with four kids than I was
00:55:11.660 before I had kids you might say
00:55:13.860 that well if I never had kids I'd
00:55:15.180 be doing even better financially
00:55:16.240 maybe I mean you know we can't
00:55:18.780 know but probably not because the
00:55:20.120 other thing that kids do for you is
00:55:22.600 they give you a sense of purpose
00:55:23.780 and ambition that's hard to muster
00:55:25.720 and stir up within yourself just
00:55:27.820 purely of your own accord I've
00:55:30.420 taken chances that I wouldn't
00:55:31.600 have taken if I didn't have a
00:55:32.480 family to feed I've invested
00:55:34.240 myself in projects that I
00:55:35.300 probably wouldn't have taken on
00:55:36.240 if I didn't have a family
00:55:36.980 depending on me I've made
00:55:38.060 sacrifices that I wouldn't have
00:55:39.120 made without a family to make
00:55:40.020 them for I'm a better person in
00:55:42.380 many ways than I would be if I
00:55:45.560 did not have kids looking up to
00:55:46.680 me and modeling themselves after
00:55:48.060 me I'm still not a great person
00:55:49.900 but certainly better than the
00:55:50.740 alternative it's not a
00:55:52.360 coincidence I think that people
00:55:53.940 are giving up on kids in our
00:55:55.240 culture and they're also giving
00:55:57.440 up on everything else 10 million
00:55:59.800 open jobs that nobody wants to
00:56:01.340 take workers dropping out of the
00:56:02.560 workforce grown adults living at
00:56:03.860 home with their parents and so on
00:56:04.980 we aren't seeing that people
00:56:06.720 forego families and then go out
00:56:08.160 into the work world and
00:56:09.400 obsessively pursue their
00:56:10.500 ambitions that still wouldn't be
00:56:12.480 the right way to live in my
00:56:13.400 opinion but that's not what's
00:56:14.400 happening what we find more
00:56:16.380 often is that people give up on
00:56:17.640 kids and soon everything else
00:56:19.920 follows in the end it's hard to
00:56:21.340 we find in the end it's it's hard
00:56:23.220 to live for other people but
00:56:24.480 it's harder to live for
00:56:25.460 yourself there are sacrifices you
00:56:28.180 have to make for your family many
00:56:29.460 of them monetary but if you don't
00:56:31.920 have anyone to sacrifice for then
00:56:33.540 eventually you just run out of
00:56:34.860 reasons to try at all that's what
00:56:38.440 we're that's what we're witnessing in
00:56:39.840 our culture today and that's why I
00:56:42.760 urge you again as I have many times
00:56:44.700 in the past and will many times in
00:56:45.780 the future and as God commanded in
00:56:47.480 Genesis be fruitful and multiply
00:56:49.740 you'll figure out the financial part
00:56:52.160 of it trust me you will so who is
00:56:55.080 canceled today I suppose people who
00:56:56.820 choose money over children are
00:56:58.660 ultimately canceled and once again
00:57:01.000 of course I have to cancel those who
00:57:02.540 I mean of all the financial
00:57:04.000 obligations it one that is that is
00:57:05.880 that is not an option this is not
00:57:09.880 discretionary spending that is buying
00:57:11.400 Johnny the walrus at Johnny the
