The Matt Walsh Show - Is This Racist？ Matt Walsh Reacts To Insane TikToks

00:00:00.000 A year ago, I began filming my new movie, Am I Racist?

00:00:02.840 The goal of the movie was to go deep undercover into the world of DEI

00:00:05.920 and show how bad the problem really is.

00:00:08.320 There'll be some moments in the movie that just seem too crazy to be real,

00:00:11.060 but I assure you it is all real and it has been a real problem for a while.

00:00:15.260 To prove to you how big of an issue DEI is,

00:00:17.500 I wanted to take you on a trip down memory lane

00:00:19.840 of some recent real-world examples of anti-white racism.

00:00:23.400 But before we do that, check out the trailer for Am I Racist?

00:00:27.000 Visit amiracist.com to check out showings and buy tickets at a theater near you.

00:00:31.260 Now enjoy the trailer. 0.98

00:00:32.580 Republicans or Nazis, you cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. 0.99

00:00:37.540 Growing up, I never thought much about race. 0.95

00:00:39.440 It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.

00:00:42.100 Am I racist?

00:00:43.260 I would really appreciate it if you left.

00:00:44.560 I'm trying to learn along this journey.

00:00:46.560 If I'm going to sort this out, I need to go deeper undercover.

00:00:50.820 They don't say I'm racist.

00:00:52.320 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:00:55.600 Here's my certification.

00:00:56.520 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness. 0.71

00:00:59.660 This is more for you than this for you.

00:01:00.640 Is America inherently racist?

00:01:02.380 The word inherent is challenging there.

00:01:04.140 I want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument.

00:01:07.300 America is racist to its bones.

00:01:09.180 So inherently. 0.99

00:01:10.040 Yeah, this country is a piece of... 0.88

00:01:11.520 White. 0.97

00:01:13.720 Folks. 1.00

00:01:14.220 Trash. 1.00

00:01:14.700 White supremacy. 1.00

00:01:15.460 White woman. 1.00

00:01:16.040 White boy.

00:01:16.560 Is there a black person around here?

00:01:17.860 What's a black person right here? 0.86

00:01:19.180 Does he not exist?

00:01:20.100 They don't say I'm racist.

00:01:21.960 Hi, Robin.

00:01:22.520 Hi.

00:01:22.880 What's your name?

00:01:23.720 I'm Matt.

00:01:24.260 I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.

00:01:26.940 Never be too careful.

00:01:27.920 They're going to say you're racist.

00:01:28.880 In theaters now.

00:01:30.000 Rated PG-13.

00:01:31.880 Fox News headline.

00:01:33.060 Buffalo police arrested 10 for looting amid the deadly winter storm.

00:01:37.380 Officials in Buffalo, New York said Wednesday, this was last Wednesday night, that 10 arrests

00:01:41.020 have been made in response to looting following a deadly winter storm that ravaged the region

00:01:44.920 over the Christmas weekend.

00:01:45.920 The Buffalo Police Department said the arrests were conducted by its newly created anti-looting

00:01:49.960 task force.

00:01:51.340 The group was formed after reports of break-ins to businesses as the storm halted daily life

00:01:55.660 in the city.

00:01:56.660 On Tuesday, Buffalo Police Commissioner Joseph Gramaglia warned that looting would not be

00:02:01.660 tolerated.

00:02:02.160 This isn't people stealing food and medicine and diapers, he said.

00:02:04.320 They're destroying stores.

00:02:05.340 They're stealing television, couches, whatever else they can get their hands on.

00:02:08.840 They're opportunists, he said at a press conference.

00:02:11.000 That was for the major winter storm last week, and we had, you know, we got down to negative

00:02:15.160 temperatures here in Nashville, negative two degrees.

00:02:18.580 Other places, the weather was even worse, and this led to looting.

00:02:21.820 But don't worry, because what we learned from some leftists on TikTok is that the looters

00:02:26.560 had every right to do what they did.

00:02:28.620 They had every right to exploit and take advantage of this situation, as they so often do.

00:02:34.320 And here's one TikToker explaining why.

00:02:37.280 I live in Buffalo.

00:02:38.520 This is a 33.

00:02:39.300 This is my car that's been buried in all of this snow since last week.

00:02:43.340 This is outside my granny's house.

00:02:45.060 A tree that's been there since my aunt was a child. 0.91

00:02:47.680 Safe to say that it's a f***ing gobble out there, right? 0.99

00:02:50.240 Here go y'all f***ing goblins who don't even live in the f***ing cities. 0.98

00:02:53.600 Which, by the way, the Q-Tip people are the last ones to ever talk about somebody stealing 0.99

00:02:58.300 anything.

00:02:59.240 Y'all wouldn't be in this country had it not been for y'all stealing it.

00:03:03.080 Y'all are more focused on people looting and trying to get necessities and things that

00:03:06.400 they need. 0.50

00:03:06.780 And yes, a TV is a f***ing necessity, thank you.

00:03:08.720 Than the people who are literally freezing to death in their own home. 0.69

00:03:11.940 Freezing to death outside.

00:03:13.140 Because this city did not shut down the way it should have.

00:03:16.020 Byron Brown wanted to get on here and talk about, we told y'all, we knew this was gonna

00:03:18.940 happen.

00:03:19.600 But why didn't you close businesses when you should have?

00:03:21.780 Why you got everybody rushing home at noon when the f***ing storm is starting and now

00:03:27.020 people are literally dying in their cars because they can't see? 0.76

00:03:29.900 And yeah, it was that f***ing bad.

00:03:31.480 I went out like at 8 o'clock in the morning before it started and by the time I got out

00:03:35.780 of Wegmans, right, it was like maybe 9, 30, 10 o'clock and it was f***ing bad. 0.50

00:03:41.880 And that was just the beginning of the storm.

00:03:43.600 So if you don't live in Buffalo, even if you do live in Buffalo, you feel like you're better

00:03:47.040 than because people are out here stealing and you would know.

00:03:49.580 First of all, if you are a mayo monster, that is how your ancestors got everything from 1.00

00:03:55.360 stealing. 0.84

00:03:55.900 People are out here trying to get toilet paper. 0.75

00:03:57.660 People are out here trying to get, you know, just small little food from family s*** dollar 0.89

00:04:01.480 and y'all got to s*** capitalism. 0.97

00:04:03.500 Steal everything that you need, babe. 1.00

00:04:05.480 Mayo monster, she calls white people. 0.99

00:04:09.500 Which I take exception to for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that I hate mayo. 0.99

00:04:14.700 I was just calling for the execution of people that enjoy mayo the other day.

00:04:17.660 So this is no different from what we hear from the left all the time.

00:04:21.980 Infamously, AOC, you know, of course said that looters are just out stealing bread to

00:04:25.840 feed their families.

00:04:26.900 And yet after the looters, as we heard from the police chief, you know, after the looters

00:04:31.140 run through Walmart or Dollar General or whatever it is that they're stealing from, the bread

00:04:36.700 aisle is always conspicuously left untouched.

00:04:40.340 Not only are they not stealing bread, but it's like the one thing they won't steal.

00:04:43.820 The one thing that they won't steal are the necessities.

00:04:46.400 Those are all of the sections of the store that are left untouched.

00:04:51.460 And that's because these are not starving people who are out desperately scrounging for

00:04:55.720 resources.

00:04:56.680 That's not what this is.

00:04:57.700 These are vultures, scavengers, victimizing their own community, exploiting a crisis to

00:05:02.900 steal from their own neighbors.

00:05:04.380 The businesses that provide necessities to their own communities, they are exploiting and victimizing.

00:05:10.460 And this is also something to keep in mind, you know, when you hear about so-called food

00:05:14.900 deserts.

00:05:18.660 Okay, what is a food desert?

00:05:20.640 Well, you think a food desert would be like an actual desert is a food desert.

00:05:24.320 It's one of the things that defines a desert.

00:05:26.120 There are not a lot of resources of that kind.

00:05:28.540 But that's not what it means when we hear about food deserts.

00:05:30.980 This is an effort on the left.

00:05:33.400 They've come up with this terminology.

00:05:34.460 And it's an effort to support the claim that there is still this systemic racism against

00:05:41.080 black people in the United States.

00:05:42.300 They have to get increasingly desperate when they're trying to, you know, find and locate 0.95

00:05:46.740 this mythical phantom systemic racism.

00:05:49.840 And so they end up talking about things like food deserts.

00:05:52.740 And so a food desert is, you know, places, especially in inner city, often in black communities, 1.00

00:05:58.320 where there are not as many stores and restaurants and grocery stores and that sort of thing as

00:06:04.980 there are other parts of the city.

00:06:07.100 Although, like, even if there were none at all, if you're living in a city, you're never

00:06:12.540 going to be more than like a five minute Uber ride away from some kind of store.

00:06:17.080 But if there are these food deserts, if there are, you know, grocery stores and

00:06:21.260 restaurants that are shutting down shop in these communities or refusing to open up in

00:06:25.240 the first place, maybe this is part of the reason why.

00:06:27.780 I mean, when you prey upon the businesses in your community and you loot and rob them,

00:06:34.200 then they're going to go away.

00:06:36.820 And then other potential business owners are going to look and if you've got someone who

00:06:40.560 wants to open up their own restaurant or their own grocery store and they're trying to

00:06:44.100 they're thinking of where should I put it?

00:06:45.560 They're going to tend to put it in safer places where they're less likely to be victimized

00:06:50.340 in this way.

00:06:51.060 Seems rather obvious, I realize, but, you know, still needs to be pointed out.

00:06:54.600 Listen up, folks.

00:06:55.360 We talk a big game about traditional values, but how many of us are actually walking the

00:06:59.180 walk when it comes to prayer?

00:07:00.360 Let's be honest with ourselves for a moment.

00:07:02.080 Most of us are about as consistent with our prayer life as Congress is with balancing the

00:07:05.820 budget.

00:07:06.380 We've all been there.

00:07:07.280 Prayer feels so daunting to get started.

00:07:09.480 We end up not doing it at all.

00:07:10.760 We make excuses.

00:07:11.620 I'm too busy.

00:07:12.200 I don't know how I'll do it tomorrow.

00:07:13.780 This goes on.

00:07:14.400 Enter Hallow, the number one prayer and meditation app, and they're starting a new series called

00:07:19.240 How to Pray.

00:07:20.260 Here's the deal.

00:07:25.980 Wahlberg and Jonathan Rumi.

00:07:27.520 You'll learn how to pray with scripture while getting familiar with prayers that have been

00:07:31.500 around in church history for centuries.

00:07:45.620 Who knows?

00:08:04.300 prayers and meditations.

00:08:05.480 The Will Smith slapper around the world continues to draw reactions.

00:08:11.920 And it's pretty clear now that at least on the race hustling left, you know, the narrative

00:08:18.420 is that he's entitled to respond that way because, well, because he's a black man in defense of 0.77

00:08:25.500 his wife. 0.98

00:08:26.340 And so he's, I guess, entitled to hit anybody that he wants to hit.

00:08:28.840 And also what we're being told, and here's one viral video from someone who's making 0.58

00:08:33.180 this point that if you're a white person, you really shouldn't be talking about this

00:08:37.840 at all.

00:08:38.300 It's not your place.

00:08:39.500 Like, Will Smith can walk up on stage during the Oscars and physically assault someone,

00:08:43.480 and he's entitled to do that.

00:08:45.100 But if you're a white person, you're not entitled to even have an opinion about it.

00:08:50.400 At least that's what we're told.

00:08:52.040 Listen.

00:08:52.220 Why What Happened at the Oscars is not something white people need to speak on right away.

00:08:56.140 There is so much nuance and complexity and layers that you will not be able to understand

00:09:00.840 through your white experience without education and listening to specifically black women,

00:09:06.080 which we all know many people don't.

00:09:08.080 So when you share your perspective or your education on what you perceive to have happened

00:09:13.140 last night, it's coming through your white lens, which has you on a place of moral high

00:09:17.400 ground.

00:09:17.700 Black's understanding of black trauma has such an emphasis on this binary of who

00:09:22.140 is good or who is bad centers violence, only actually continues to minimize black women 0.93

00:09:27.460 and their pain, and most annoyingly continues to center yourself.

00:09:31.880 That really just is not your business.

00:09:33.580 So just take some time.

00:09:34.820 Take a minute.

00:09:35.480 You don't have to respond right away.

00:09:36.900 Really try and look at the entire situation before you speak on the shiny, easy grab.

00:09:43.140 Because what you fail to see through your white lens was the actual violence occurring.

00:09:47.020 The continued violence that is ableism and that is misogynoir.

00:09:50.700 The continued violence that is...

00:09:52.380 Oh, okay.

00:09:53.380 Well, yeah.

00:09:54.000 Just let us know, whoever you are, when we're allowed to speak and have an opinion about

00:09:58.280 this event that occurred and we all saw and everybody was talking about.

00:10:01.340 Just let us know.

00:10:02.360 Just, you know, we'll all shut up collectively and we'll wait for you, whoever you are on

00:10:07.380 TikTok, because we're the entitled ones, right?

00:10:10.400 We're the ones who are entitled.

00:10:11.500 I mean, she's just instructing an entire race of people, letting us know the opinions we're

00:10:17.220 allowed to have and not have.

00:10:18.080 But we're entitled.

00:10:19.220 And also, we're trying to make it about us, not her.

00:10:22.200 She's not the one doing that. 0.98

00:10:23.020 We're doing that.

00:10:23.620 If you're wondering about this misogynoir term, and it's a new leftist buzzword every

00:10:28.960 day.

00:10:29.380 And this seems to be, or at least every week, every week there's a new one.

00:10:31.960 This is the leftist buzz phrase of the week.

00:10:34.700 And it's, I just looked it up because that's not the first time I've heard it this week.

00:10:38.820 Misogynoir is, according to Wikipedia, is misogyny directed towards black women where 0.99

00:10:43.940 race and gender both play roles in bias.

00:10:47.220 The term was coined by black feminist Moya Bailey in 2010. 0.98

00:10:51.720 And now it's, so it's, that's the other thing they do is like you take this term that just

00:10:55.820 some random leftist came up with and like two people have ever heard in their lives.

00:11:00.040 And then they just start like using it as if everyone is supposed to know what this gibberish 0.92

00:11:04.140 means.

00:11:04.700 But it's very effective because then people do exactly what I just did there.

00:11:07.440 You look it up like, what does that, what does that mean?

00:11:08.880 Okay.

00:11:09.280 And then it enters into the lexicon.

00:11:11.440 So if, if a black woman is the subject of alleged sexism, it's not good enough to just 0.73

00:11:17.000 say misogyny like everybody else.

00:11:18.420 So she gets her special label, which is misogynoir and all this, this whole thing is very nuanced,

00:11:23.520 the whole situation.

00:11:24.200 Well, it's actually not nuanced at all.

00:11:25.520 It's probably one of the least nuanced public events in recent memory.

00:11:31.860 It was someone standing up at an award show and slapping another guy because they didn't

00:11:35.240 like a joke that was being told.

00:11:36.420 There's no nuance to it whatsoever.

00:11:38.840 Very straightforward.

00:11:44.420 Black. 0.93

00:11:44.960 If I don't say it, I'll pass out. 1.00

00:11:46.520 Black. 0.98
