The Matt Walsh Show - Matt Walsh Explores The Bisexual vs Pansexual War

00:00:00.000 So as you know, LGBT people are very oppressed, so incredibly oppressed and persecuted in this

00:00:07.780 country. But at the same time, the LGBT acronym keeps expanding because people are so desperate 1.00

00:00:12.600 to invent some new LGBT identities so that they can be a part of the club, so that they can be

00:00:17.920 involved as well, or to bolster their resume within the club, they'll make up new identities

00:00:24.500 to be a part of it. See, I've never heard of an oppressed group that functions exactly like

00:00:30.440 that. Can you think of any historical example of a group that's persecuted, and meanwhile,

00:00:36.420 people who aren't in the persecuted group are actually pretending to be in it just to get

00:00:41.880 themselves a dose of that sweet persecution? Help, help, I'm being repressed! I can't think of

00:00:46.420 any example of that historically. I don't think, so this is unprecedented. And the other possible

00:00:52.060 explanation is that LGBT people aren't persecuted at all, so I'll let you determine.

00:00:55.880 What? No!

00:00:57.340 Anyway, as part of this expansion, we now have something called pansexuality. And pansexuality

00:01:03.480 is a really sought-after identity these days. It's one of the newest things. Hot off the presses.

00:01:10.260 People are really into it. Celebrities are coming out as pansexual. Left and right, everyone is

00:01:16.560 pansexual all of a sudden. So that raises a question, which is, what the hell is 1.00

00:01:21.800 a pansexual? 1.00

00:01:23.220 What the hell are you? 0.99

00:01:25.340 Well, a pansexual, as far as I understand it, is someone who's attracted to either sex. 0.99

00:01:32.400 But isn't that the same as a bisexual? Well, you might think so, but apparently not. We're

00:01:38.500 told these are two different things. How are they different? What's the distinction? Well,

00:01:43.820 to answer that question, I think we have to go back to consult the wise sages of TikTok,

00:01:48.900 who are experts on many things, but especially on all sexual matters. And we've got a few

00:01:56.460 videos here kind of explaining what pansexuality is and how it's different from bisexuality. And I

00:02:02.320 thought this was just a good, it's a good learning opportunity for all of us. So let's start

00:02:07.080 watching the videos. Bi versus pan in 30 seconds or less. Bisexuality is the ability to feel 0.87

00:02:12.800 emotionally, physically, or even sexually attracted to more than one gender. This can be two, four,

00:02:17.440 six, eight, or even all of them. This can be with or without a preference. Pansexuality is the ability

00:02:22.560 to feel attraction regardless of someone's gender or sex or gender expression. Also explained as the

00:02:27.600 ability to feel attraction to all genders without a preference. Look, I made you a chart. 0.55

00:02:31.480 What? Okay. So they're literally just the same thing. Am I having a seizure or something? Or

00:02:40.020 didn't she just repeat herself? It's exactly the same thing. Sorry, wait, no, no, no, no. Bi is the 0.94

00:02:46.220 ability to be attracted to anyone of any gender. And pan is the ability to be attracted to anyone

00:02:53.520 regardless of gender. I think that's the distinction she made. You see it? You see the distinction?

00:02:59.520 Me neither. I don't see it either. Um, because there isn't one, you know, it's just two words

00:03:04.940 for the same thing. And there's a lot of that in the LGBTQ X, Y, Z acronym. A lot of the same thing

00:03:10.940 repeating over and over again. Same for the 192 genders. It's just sort of like the same thing over 1.00

00:03:15.960 and over again, because in reality, there are only two, but, um, I don't know. Maybe she just did a

00:03:20.960 bad job of explaining it. So let's, uh, let's, let's watch another one. Pansexuals and bisexuals are the same

00:03:25.420 thing. You just got to get over these years of, you know, I got to get over my years of

00:03:31.020 internalized biphobia. I was bi for literally three years until I realized that I'm pan. If

00:03:37.160 you don't know, this video is directed at me. So hey, bae, thanks for the even more clout

00:03:41.040 than I already have. Also the likes to comment ratio already. Amazing. Let me explain bisexuality 1.00

00:03:46.840 and pansexuality to you because you obviously need a lesson. Bisexuality versus pansexuality

00:03:51.740 for w's. Here we go. Bisexuality. Oh, I think that girl's attractive. Oh, I think that guy's

00:03:56.660 attractive. Oh, I think that non-binary person's attractive. Pansexuality. Oh, I think that person's 1.00

00:04:01.640 attractive. Oh, is there a girl? Okay. Oh, I think that person's attractive. Oh, they're non-binary?

00:04:06.280 Okay. Oh, I think that person's attractive. Oh, is there a guy? Okay. Do you get it? Bisexuality,

00:04:12.440 attraction to more than one gender. Pansexuality, attraction to anyone, regardless of gender.

00:04:16.960 It's mainly feelings-based and personality-based. Thanks for the panphobia. Thank you.

00:04:21.740 first of all what is it on tiktok with the uh with the cackling they're always doing

00:04:27.680 these girls on tiktok i don't make any assumptions but these girls on tiktok they're always uh 0.99

00:04:35.120 cackling i'm not sure what that is exactly and why do they always edit the video so that it

00:04:40.980 cuts out the last word they said before the end but anyway pan phobia she says yes we have pan

00:04:46.720 phobia now there are people out there who have a phobia of pansexuals apparently i mean sure i run 0.90

00:04:54.360 into this thing all the time i haven't we all seen people running through the streets oh no the

00:04:59.400 pansexuals are coming it's a pansexual it's like i thought i haven't run into that at all because um

00:05:04.700 nobody can have a phobia of pansexuals because that's a made-up thing it's like being afraid 0.62

00:05:10.820 of a pansexual is like being afraid of peter pan it's it's an imaginary thing let's keep going

00:05:16.620 here maybe we could find a video that makes sense of all of this and um i'm already just looking at

00:05:22.140 the image here and i feel like this is a person who can illuminate and enlighten us all let's watch

00:05:29.280 guess what my patience has run out pansexuality is not inherently biphobic they are both valid

00:05:38.080 sexualities both of them and while yes i have seen pansexual people use that label for questionable

00:05:44.880 reasons they pretty quickly get it once you explain things to them they do and not only that

00:05:51.560 but do you know who likes to use specific or micro labels neurodivergent people sometimes we just have

00:05:58.020 to do whatever we can to feel safe and comfortable and using a more specific label can be our outlet for

00:06:04.220 that if you took all that energy you spend calling people biphobic and saying they're performing bi erasure

00:06:09.620 and just educated them there would be less biphobia there would be less bi erasure because you've

00:06:16.260 explained it and people will know the difference i've had it with you guys jesus that was a uh safety

00:06:24.960 pin in his hers that individual's face right that was a safety pin that's what i thought anyway uh

00:06:32.380 pansexuality is not inherently biphobic did you hear that pansexuality is not inherently biphobic

00:06:38.320 and this settles the age-old debate i think it was uh it was a fact uh aristotle who was the first

00:06:42.800 to postulate that pansexuality is not inherently biphobic so i'm glad that we've established that

00:06:47.080 he also says that we need to or rather uh the the individual so i honestly really have no idea but

00:06:53.480 this person says that we need to fight bi erasers i'm not sure what a bi eraser is it might be the kind

00:07:02.100 that erases both pencil and pen i'm not sure somehow i'm just feeling more confused the more

00:07:08.580 that we watch let's try one more to see if uh maybe this will finally make everything make sense for us

00:07:16.540 what's the difference between omnisexual and pansexual

00:07:19.360 omnisexual people like all genders while pansexual people like people based on their personality

00:07:24.740 so yes they both like all genders but gender is more relevant to omnisexual people than pansexual

00:07:31.380 people most of the time pansexual people are blind to gender while most of the time omnisexual people

00:07:36.520 are not blind to it comment any genders or sexualities you want me to explain and compare

00:07:41.240 life for per five so now we got now we have omnisexual too so we got bisexual pansexual

00:07:49.940 omnisexual all to describe people who are attracted to either gender or regardless of gender or

00:07:57.120 inclusive of gender or in spite of gender or whatever this cannot possibly get more redundant

00:08:02.920 or arbitrary or absurd i'm demisexual i only feel sexual attraction when i form an emotional connection

00:08:12.620 if there's no strong bond it's not an option get to know me i'm demisexual

00:08:19.940 yeah you're a woman in other words so you you want to have a strong bond with someone

00:08:25.960 in order to be attracted to them so it's just like every woman that has ever existed 1.00

00:08:30.780 you just call yourself that that's fine too um so okay you know i said i'm more confused the more

00:08:38.400 that we watch these but i'm actually not i mean it's i'm being facetious i know exactly what's going

00:08:43.080 on here it's not confusing at all people have defined their identity and meaning and purpose and

00:08:47.900 entire personality and their existence by these sexual labels and this is what happens when you 0.79

00:08:53.020 do that i mean the ironic thing is that you know they're trying to escape labels escape what they

00:08:59.300 call a rigid binary and they can't escape it because the binary is natural it's it's biological

00:09:07.140 but what they found in their in their their flight from labels is a whole bunch of additional labels

00:09:13.540 so now they're more labeled than they've ever been and they're arguing with each other over the

00:09:18.740 finest little distinctions um and i guess they take comfort in that because it is easier to adopt

00:09:27.740 a label than it is to develop a personality and find actual meaning in your life also as we've seen

00:09:34.320 in some of these videos having a label like this gives you an excuse to dress like a character from

00:09:39.060 tim burton movie there's white things in the car and that in the end i think is the real point
