The Matt Walsh Show - Matt Walsh Reviews The Top 5 Worst 'The View' Takes

00:00:00.000 on the view yesterday. I just want to play this for you. It's not exactly a lead headline, but

00:00:13.480 we were talking about all this yesterday and Jesus, it's one thing to defame libs of TikTok

00:00:24.180 or me or Chris Ruffo or Donald Trump or one of the usual suspects. That's one thing.

00:00:30.960 Of course, infinitely more outrageous and offensive is when they try to drag Jesus Christ 1.00

00:00:36.560 into this, which is what they did on the view. Listen to this.

00:00:40.540 They were in a place that accepts them for who they were and someone came to that place.

00:00:44.600 I don't know that they hide behind religion because I said this on this show once before,

00:00:49.760 Jesus would be the grand marshal at the pride parade. 0.98

00:00:52.000 I don't mean about gay people. I mean, in every argument we have, you weaponize religion. 0.99

00:00:57.200 Here's my question, but it's wrong. If you're so afraid, why are you going over there?

00:01:03.100 Yeah. If they scare you so much, leave them alone. When stuff scares me, I leave it alone.

00:01:10.440 If I don't want to be bothered, I don't go there. See, that's the problem. You don't want to just

00:01:16.100 have your feelings. You want everybody else to join you. And you know what? You can scream

00:01:21.700 you can cuss, you can do all the things that you say, but you know what? Gay people are here. 1.00

00:01:28.300 They're not going anywhere. There is nothing you can do. You know, you can yell and scream, 0.99

00:01:35.440 but you know, as, as the Lord, as everybody was talking about, you know, made in God's image,

00:01:43.120 made in God's image. There are no, but except for, there's none of that. No.

00:01:49.780 Keep that in mind when you're trying to figure out where you stand as a human being,

00:01:54.420 let alone a Christian. We'll be right back. 1.00

00:01:56.660 What I really appreciate is that the one chick at the beginning starts by saying,

00:02:00.760 and I honestly don't know any of their names except for Whoopi Goldberg and Joy. So I know

00:02:04.960 those two. The other two, I don't know. The other, however many it is. The chick at the beginning says

00:02:10.660 that they're weaponizing religion. They use religion. And then for the rest of the segment,

00:02:15.300 all the other women on the panel do what she just accused conservatives of doing. They start using 1.00

00:02:21.500 religion to weaponize it against their opponents. So they're like contradicting exactly what she just

00:02:26.320 said. So the women over on The View were squawking this week about free speech. And I want to go 0.98

00:02:35.800 through a couple of these clips. First of all, here's Whoopi Goldberg announcing

00:02:40.100 tragically that she's leaving Twitter.

00:02:46.000 It has been a little over a week since Elon Musk took over Twitter and the place is, it's a mess.

00:02:52.920 He's already called back some of the workforce. He fired a few days ago. He's putting his $8 charge

00:02:58.560 for blue check verification on hold. First, it was going to be $20. Now it's going to be $8.

00:03:04.440 He also suspended Kathy Griffin for impersonating him on a parody account,

00:03:10.140 which has started a free Kathy hashtag to Trent. I mean, I'm, I'm, I'm getting off.

00:03:19.180 I'm getting off today because I just feel like, you know, it's, it's so messy and I, I'm tired of now

00:03:28.180 having had certain kinds of attitudes blocked and now they're back on and I just, I'm going to get

00:03:36.860 out. And if it settles down and I feel more comfortable, maybe I'll come back. But as of

00:03:42.980 tonight, I'm done with Twitter. Of course, Mo, if you're like me, you hear that and you think,

00:03:48.920 uh, uh, oh, you were on Twitter. I didn't even know that. Like, what are the, what are the, I, I,

00:03:53.200 I just want to know if I can get in their own head, get in their heads, which is not really a place I'd

00:03:57.780 want to be, but well, how do you think people are going to react to this? Do you think people are,

00:04:02.540 you're making some big dramatic announcement? I'm done. You know, I might be back later,

00:04:06.080 but I just, for now I'm out of there, which by the way, when it comes to dramatic announcements,

00:04:10.300 that's, uh, that's, that's kind of an anticlimactic way to go about it. I'm done. I mean,

00:04:16.760 I might come back later, but I'm done for now. I will not be on Twitter again until at least

00:04:21.780 tomorrow morning, if not a little bit sooner. But at this moment right now, I'm not going to be,

00:04:26.720 I am not using Twitter at this moment while I'm on TV. But what do they expect? Do they think

00:04:31.760 that people are going to like the people think it's good that Elon Musk took over Twitter? Are

00:04:36.400 they going to say, well, nevermind. I mean, if this scares, uh, whoopie Goldberg away, I can't

00:04:41.300 imagine Twitter without whoopie Goldberg. So the view, you know, if you, if you tune into the view,

00:04:51.680 whoever makes the mistake of doing that, um, maybe, I don't know. I don't know what you're expecting

00:04:56.880 when it comes to something like this. I don't know if you're expecting

00:04:59.020 in real insight into, uh, into geopolitics from the ladies of the view. But if that's what you're

00:05:05.940 looking for, you're going to be disappointed. Um, here is Joy Behar. What, what's, what's her main,

00:05:10.720 you know, concern? What, what does she worry might happen if this, um, if this conflict spreads and

00:05:16.080 becomes a world war? Yeah, there's global warming, but as far as she's concerned, there's, um, a

00:05:21.460 consequence even more dire than that. Listen.

00:05:23.440 Estimates are 50,000 Ukrainians will be dead or wounded and that this is going to start 0.96

00:05:30.700 a humanitarian crisis, a refugee crisis in Europe. We're talking about 5 million people

00:05:35.960 that, that are going to be displaced. I mean, it's, it's heartbreaking to hear what is going

00:05:42.900 to happen. Yeah. Well, I'm scared of what's going to happen in, in Western Europe too. Yeah. You know,

00:05:47.840 you just, you plan a trip. You want to go there. I want to go to Italy for four years. I haven't been

00:05:51.980 able to make it because of, of, uh, the pandemic. And now this, you know, it's, it's like, who's

00:05:56.880 going to, what's going to happen there. And now this first, there was a pandemic of 5 million people

00:06:03.620 died and it stopped me from taking my, my Italy vacation that I've wanted to take. It's been my

00:06:07.640 dream. And now we have war. What else, what else is going to happen to me as Joy Behar.

00:06:13.760 All right, moving to this. Whoopi Goldberg is shedding some, some light, adding some insights

00:06:22.160 to the Nancy Pelosi communion situation in San Francisco. Let's listen to that.

00:06:28.400 Welcome to the view, y'all. The abortion rights battle is starting to blur the lines between church

00:06:34.680 and state. The archbishop of San Francisco is calling for speaker Nancy Pelosi to be denied 0.75

00:06:43.080 receiving community because of her pro-choice stance. He's one of the priests who also called

00:06:47.960 for president Biden to be denied sacrament. This is not your job, dude. That is not, you can't,

00:06:53.460 that is not up to you to make that decision. You know, what is the saying? It's kind of amazing.

00:06:59.000 But, you know, what is the point of communion, right? It's for-
