00:02:31.720We knew that the Biden administration had looked into this.
00:02:34.180We did not know that the Obama administration had looked into this.
00:02:38.040The Times and did not exonerate her, was not able to exonerate her.
00:02:42.760What they what they report is that they moved on because they realized that if she had done it, the statute of limitations had run.
00:02:52.540The Times says it spoke with six former and current officials familiar with the case and reports that prosecutors did not pursue the matter due to, quote, limited investigative tools for the agents.
00:03:07.860According to the Times, the investigators included an FBI agent who is an expert in public corruption and two agents from Homeland Security investigations.
00:03:15.740Two of the investigators are still employed at their federal agencies in the state of Minnesota.
00:03:20.040Let me tell you what this means. It means they investigated whether she was a fraudster who had married her brother and they found that she had and then panicked.
00:03:32.840And then some lawyer inside DOJ said, we're good because it's 2016 and she married him in 2009.
00:03:40.200So we are past the statute of limitations, which is five years, which would have taken them to 2014.
00:03:47.620And they were relieved because she was the first Muslim woman elected to Congress, the first woman openly wearing a turban, all of it.
00:04:02.840Our sponsor, the Electronic Payments Coalition, says Washington politicians are always getting
00:04:07.620in your wallet, and now they're messing with your credit card. They say your credit card
00:04:12.200and the security it offers are under attack, and that Senators Dick Durbin and Roger Marshall
00:04:17.240want to change the nation's payment system to benefit corporate megastores like
00:04:21.160Walmart and Target at the expense of everyday Americans. Credit cards can keep your payments
00:04:26.560secure and provide rewards that families use to help make everyday purchases more affordable.
00:04:31.360The Electronic Payments Coalition says the Durbin Marshall mandates would let corporate megastores cut corners on credit card processing, routing transactions over cheaper, untested networks with weaker security and fewer protections.

00:04:50.000they knew okay they knew and barack obama was still out there trying to defend her
00:04:59.960just last week on these charges remember just last week he was ripping these these allegations about
00:05:07.820her i'm going to read you in part his ex post it is a basic principle of american democracy that
00:05:12.840the government cannot selectively target individuals simply because of their political
00:05:16.680beliefs or what they say. But that's exactly what the Trump administration is doing to Congresswoman
00:05:21.320Ilhan Omar of Minnesota. To understand why this is so appalling, it's important to know the facts.
00:05:28.220It is indeed, Barry. It's very important. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with
00:05:33.700her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen.
00:05:39.080If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately.
00:05:42.680But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
00:05:51.600It is very much not in evidence that she was, in fact, 17 and not older, not above the age of majority when she was allegedly naturalized derivatively thanks to her father's naturalization.
00:09:22.560The fact that any president or any administration is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar's political views.
00:09:33.380Because if this becomes the new normal, there is no reason to believe it will stop with her or that future presidents in either party won't do the same.
00:09:54.580The New York Times report is based on, again, three current and former officials familiar with the present day investigation and six current or former officials with knowledge of the 2016 investigation.
00:10:07.240Who was sitting at the top of government in the summer of 2016 when this took place?
00:10:22.620They they report that the federal investigation, current one, is focused in part on whether she entered into a sham marriage in 2009 to help a man suspected of being her brother obtain a green card, according to current and formal officials familiar with the matter.
00:10:36.300The FBI and Department of Homeland Security investigated the marriage in summer of 2016 during the Obama administration and found some evidence that it was fraudulent.
00:10:49.020I mean, all you had to do was look at Powerline and Alpha News, which had found all of the social media posts before she ran for office in 2016, when she was still just a private citizen, celebrating Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi as her brother.
00:11:06.940Celebrating his sister Layla, who raised him in the UK, as her sister.
00:11:15.840It was Leila Ahmed and Mohammed who stayed. Ilan's siblings. Hello, media. Just ask. Ask her to name all of her siblings. You don't even have to go more provocative than that. Please list all of your siblings. Say that. Do that.
00:11:32.420She came here with the one sister, Sarah, and their dad.0.54
00:11:35.740They all pretended, the ones who came to the United States, that they were Omars.0.57
00:11:39.880The three siblings got asylum in the UK under their real last name, Elmi.
00:11:44.940Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi is the brother, who is gay, who she married in 2009.
00:11:55.180What happened was he got a green card, temporary.
00:11:57.360Then he applied for a more permanent green card.
00:11:59.720And they inquired more about his sham marriage. And then he withdrew the application and left town. I actually didn't know until today that it was in 2012 that he fled. He went, we think, to Kenya to be with his sister, Sarah Noor, the one who had come to the United States but then wound up in Kenya and was working on her website.
00:12:20.340And we reported to you about, I think it was Powerline, that actually found when Ilhan Omar later in 2019 was trying to divorce him, 17, said he'd been abandoned.
00:12:34.160He had abandoned her and she had no contact with him.
00:14:04.740She has long called this a right wing conspiracy theory that federal officials have, quote, debunked during her first race during 2016 debunked and they to the Times's credit, they get into how she allegedly debunked it and they actually debunked the debunking.
00:14:24.740debunking. It's so great. What's happening in the New York Times? Welcome aboard. Come on.
00:14:30.260We love all the fair and balanced reporting. Doesn't it feel good? Don't you feel like a
00:14:33.640more honest publication? Great. Keep it up. Okay, here's what happened with the so-called
00:14:41.460debunking. In August of 2016, a local news station, it was Fox 9, KMSP, by the way,
00:14:50.140reported that the U.S. Attorney's Office in Minnesota, this is when she was running for
00:14:53.800statehouse in Minnesota, which she did before she ran for U.S. Congress in 2019. They reported that
00:14:58.820the U.S. Attorney's Office in Minnesota had opened an investigation into Ms. Omar. That prompted her
00:15:06.040campaign to form a crisis management committee. Carla Jelberg, a lawyer who represented Ms. Omar,0.99
00:15:12.520said in a 2018 deposition related to a state campaign finance inquiry. Ms. Jelberg added that
00:15:20.020the campaign worried that the story, which was being covered by right-wing publications,
00:15:23.860could gain traction in a mainstream outlet. A means to quash it came on August 22nd,
00:15:29.2602016, when the campaign released a letter it had requested from Andrew M. Lugar, who was then U.S.
00:15:38.520attorney in Minnesota. In the three-sentence letter, and keep in mind how the U.S. attorney
00:15:42.980posts are usually filled. It's usually somebody who shares the party ID of the sitting president.
00:15:48.240That happened under Barack Obama. That actually hadn't been the norm where we clean house of all the U.S. attorneys when the new president came in.
00:15:54.120Thanks to Barack Obama, that became the norm. Yet another norm breaking precedent.
00:15:58.880He said that the mainstream publications let him get away with without any scrutiny.
00:16:04.560Well, they want to talk to you about how Trump breaks all the norms.
00:16:06.940So what about Barack Obama? What about how presidents never commented on legal cases prior to Barack Obama because it wouldn't be prudent?
00:16:12.920And he's out there. If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon.
00:16:15.300And all the nonsense he did and got away with because he was our first black president.0.72
00:16:20.040OK, so this guy would have been a Democrat, sympathetic to Democrats.0.72
00:16:28.700A means to quash the story came on August 22nd, 2016, when the campaign released a letter it had requested from Andrew M. Lugar, then U.S. attorney in Minnesota.
00:16:38.360In the three sentence letter, Mr. Lugar wrote that, quote,
00:16:41.540My office is not investigating, nor have we requested an investigation into Miss Omar.
00:16:49.080Now, we pulled the actual letter. Here it is. It reads as follows. It's the tiniest little
00:16:54.340font ever. Stand by my aging eyes. Thank you for speaking by phone earlier today about your client,
00:17:02.700Ilhan Omar. As you are aware, an erroneous news report aired yesterday on Fox 9 indicating that
00:17:08.140my office has requested an investigation into the immigration status of Ms. Omar. As I said on the
00:17:14.460telephone, there is no truth to this report, and my office is not investigating, nor have we
00:17:19.220requested an investigation into Ms. Omar. Now, here's what happened. Ilhan Omar ran with that
00:17:27.300as her, quote, exoneration. She characterized it exactly that way, and she said it put to rest
00:17:33.200flat-out falsehoods. Ms. Jelberg said in the deposition that the credibility of the claim,
00:17:39.640quote, fell drastically once Andy Lugar said that's false. He said no such thing. Andy Lugar
00:17:46.820said we're not investigating this. We're not. I have a newsflash for everyone. Andy Lugar and
00:17:54.540even the current Minnesota U.S. attorney does not speak for all of the federal government.
00:17:59.500But surprise, he doesn't speak for everyone. And what we saw back in the beginning of this
00:18:10.800reporting is that it was the FBI and Department of Homeland Security that was investigating the
00:18:18.360marriage. Now, he doesn't oversee the FBI. The DOJ does oversee the FBI. They answer basically
00:18:24.160to the attorney general ultimately. But if it wasn't his investigation, he wouldn't have known.
00:18:29.240And Department of Homeland Security is an entirely different department.
00:18:33.100It's an independent agency, well, part of the executive branch, but they don't work for the Minnesota U.S. attorney.
00:18:40.020So he said he was not investigating her.
00:18:49.060And indeed, it was Homeland Security investigations that raided her home two Mondays ago, whatever it was, which is under DHS.
00:18:57.640Okay, so her team cleverly pretended that they had a fake exoneration when they didn't.
00:19:05.840And even that fake exoneration wasn't an attempt to exonerate because this is what the Times is reporting.
00:19:12.500In an interview last week, Mr. Luger said his letter was never meant to say anything about the substance of the claims.
00:19:18.720Instead, he said it was narrowly written to rebut the news station's report that Mr. Lugar had asked ICE to investigate Ms. Omar, which he called erroneous.
00:19:30.720Federal agents may have been pursuing the matter without his knowledge, Mr. Lugar said.
00:19:39.600He added that he had never shielded Ms. Omar from scrutiny and that he actually later backed primary candidates who ran against her, which would make sense.
00:19:49.680He's a Democrat. He backed Democrats, but not this one.
00:19:53.840I'm assuming he's a Democrat, given what I said earlier.
00:19:56.760After Mr. Luger's letter became public, local news coverage of the marriage controversy waned.
00:20:05.740And now here's, here's something very telling, very telling. That original Fox nine report was
00:20:15.200then removed from their website and it was reposted with a scaled down version and included this
00:20:20.580over the top response from Ilhan Omar who blamed Trump because why not? Let me be clear.
00:20:29.500They are categorically false. I assume this is a reference to the reports that she married her
00:20:35.380brother. They are categorically false. Now the question that needs to be asked is why are these
00:20:42.280absurd and hateful rumors being circulated? It matters that I am a woman. It matters that I am
00:20:48.960a Somali American woman. It matters that I am a Muslim and immigrant woman. I know deeply that
00:20:55.220the people of District 60B oppose Donald Trump style misogyny, racism, anti-immigration rhetoric,
00:21:01.780and Islamophobic division. Now, ask yourself, what is missing from that denial, as well as from
00:21:12.960all of her denials, which we went over the other day? They all sound just like this one. Absurd,
00:21:18.380absurd. Denied. These are absurd rumors. And now we hear debunked, too. But
00:21:42.660Any facts at all about who she married.
00:21:47.820I, you, if I asked you to, whether you married your sibling, whether your current spouse is your sibling, you, keep in mind the Phil Houston rule.
00:22:01.160The truth teller stays right over the truth.
00:22:05.200The truth is their friend, so they don't run away from it with generic words like outrageous, absurd, you know, conspiracy theories.
00:22:16.180You would say, I mean, I would tell you, I married a guy named Doug Brunt.
00:22:21.100He's from the main line, Philadelphia.
00:22:42.940If we want to get really personal, both marriages were consummated.
00:22:47.660Let's see if Ilhan Omar can say the same.
00:22:52.320Like, why does she never talk about who she married and try to give us not adjectives, but facts around his name, his background, and why he's not her brother?
00:23:08.260How she can show us he's not her brother.
00:23:10.240Okay, in her memoir, she talks about how she married the first Ahmed.0.62
00:23:18.180They're both A-H-M-E-D, the guys she married, the first two guys.
00:23:23.580But first was Ahmed Hirsi, then came Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi.
00:23:29.960Ahmed Hirsi is the father of her three children.
00:23:33.540She married him when she was 18 in a Muslim ceremony, but it was never legal.
00:23:39.000Remember, what are the two things you need in order for your marriage to be legal?
00:23:41.860You need a marriage license and you need a ceremony.0.55
00:23:44.880She only had one half of the equation, the ceremony, by some Muslim cleric.
00:23:50.400So in the eyes of, you know, the Muslim faith, she was married, but not in the eyes of the law,0.65
00:23:56.820which would wind up being kind of important because she used the legal chit on her brother.0.99
00:24:03.180The brother was running around in the UK gay as a blade.0.96
00:24:06.520And the father, who was here with Ilan and Ilan's sister, Sarah, was mad.0.98
00:24:12.380The reports are he didn't much appreciate his flamboyantly gay son telling everyone in the UK to taste the rainbow.
00:24:18.580So he summoned him back to the United States to try to get a better handle on him and perhaps explain to him that they, as Muslims, didn't really believe in that kind of behavior.0.94
00:24:31.840There's in-depth reporting now in the New York Post today, which is very good, about how Ahmed Hirsi, the Muslim husband of Ilhan, who was the father to her children, was, quote, disgusted by the other Ahmed when he got here and his behavior.0.99
00:24:48.060I mean, newsflash, you can't de-gayify somebody, all right?0.89
00:24:52.980There was a long time where Christian conservatives tried it.1.00
00:24:58.560it definitely appears to be inborn and you can't de-gayify somebody. Now somebody can choose not1.00
00:25:04.780to lead a gay lifestyle. That can, that can happen. But like you really, you can't make a
00:25:09.600guy who's attracted to guys instead attracted to girls. Hello, get a gay friend. They will,0.98
00:25:15.360they will explain this to you. Um, so, but they tried and the post is reporting Ilhan Omar's
00:25:22.560first husband was embarrassed with her effeminate brother who she is accused of marrying when he
00:25:28.360came to live with them in Minnesota, a family friend told the Post. Now, we had known prior
00:25:32.080to this Post report that both Ahmeds were living with Ilan when her brother got here. And she
00:25:38.040married him when she was still with Ahmed Elmi. The thing with Ahmed Elmi did not, she married
00:25:44.680him in the Muslim ceremony when Ilan was 18. Can't do the math, but Ilan was born in 1981. So
00:25:51.5201989. Wait, no, 1999. Forgive the math. You know, this is not my strong suit.
00:25:58.360She married him then when she was 18, so around there.
00:26:02.920And then she married the Bresbend in 2009.
00:26:09.520And she had at least two of her three children when she married her Bresbend.
00:26:14.140I think the third child came. Yeah, he did. She did.
00:26:17.220She came in 2012 after she had already married her Bresbend.
00:26:20.760She was still having her Muslim wedding to Hersey, who was the father of all three children.
00:26:25.040And then she tried during the course, while she was still married to her brusband, she filed joint tax returns with Hersey, who is not her legal husband.
00:29:48.040He explained that she had married him legally to get him papers
00:29:50.580and that he was only Islamically married to her, he, Hirsi.0.99
00:29:54.040He said her brother was, quote, pure trash,0.99
00:29:56.700who had embarrassed their whole family and was complaining about why Ilhan had to bring him over.0.97
00:30:01.640The source claimed that Elmi was shunned in the community, meaning the Brisbane.
00:30:06.800I used to see Elmi in my neighborhood, but we kept our separate ways because if people saw me with him, everyone would think differently of me.
00:30:13.000The others used to compare his behavior to that of his father, Noor, a respected military general.
00:30:17.960Oh, he promoted him. I think it was Colonel.
00:30:19.600But yes, we all agree he was not some peaceful educator, as they claimed when he sought asylum.
00:30:25.020Ahmed said he was bringing a bad name to the family.
00:31:33.020The only on-the-record response we appear to have from Ahmed Noor Saeed Elmi, the Bresbind,
00:31:38.940was to Alpha News and Preya Samson Dar, who was on the show last week,
00:31:44.620who got him to respond in an email saying,
00:31:48.680I've never been married that I can remember, at least not to the best of my recollection.
00:31:55.580And then he had a little smiley face in his email, you know, like the colon parentheses,
00:32:01.080hee hee, like that. So funny. I committed a felony. Hee hee.
00:32:08.040This story is the gift that keeps on giving. Then he said, yeah, Ahmed Hersey and Ilan used
00:32:17.380to argue over her brother all the time. I saw them arguing and shouting in public. And after
00:32:23.000Ahmed Nur Said Elmi left Minnesota around 2012, Ahmed Hersey praised God for taking him away
00:32:30.560from his family. That is the latest. Barack Obama was onto this. His statement as usual with this
00:32:42.040guy was a bunch of bullshit banking on you not knowing any better and on the New York Times not0.99
00:32:51.240outing the fact that he knew his administration knew and there's no way he didn't know please0.99
00:32:56.460and now we have sources coming out to the New York Post talking about how of course
00:33:02.140of course Ahmed Hersey knew he he was filing jointly with Ilan and having babies with her
00:33:08.740while she was legally married to this guy and the three of them were living together
00:33:11.520Of course he knew. By the way, he committed frauds, too, it appears. So he's also in potential trouble.
00:33:20.140Now, separately, Glenn Beck had a report the other day, having received a leaked document from Homeland Security Investigations, which is taking the lead on the current investigation,
00:33:31.960that appears to shed more light on what they're looking at around ilan omar i mean ilan uh nur
00:33:43.320saeed elmi sat one now we have obtained the text of a memo from uh homeland security investigations
00:33:50.700to the state department came from a source inside the administration uh we got a photo i can't show
00:33:56.680you the photo uh but we we are telling you what it says how we got it and you can weigh it for
00:34:02.080yourself it's dated february 9th of this year eight months before anybody knocked on a door
00:34:07.820so they've been working on this the you know the memo asked the state department for certified
00:34:12.980complete unredacted copies of every passport application that ilhan omar has ever filed
00:34:20.400um also personal uh and official every supporting document every letter anything that identifies her
00:34:27.660parents and it says why she is named as the subject of criminal and civil investigations
00:34:33.280for possible violations of two federal laws making a false statement on a passport application
00:34:38.100and falsely claiming u.s citizenship then one more line she also may be amenable to civil1.00
00:34:44.160denaturalization that's they're going to try to take her citizenship away1.00
00:34:49.160so homeland security investigations which appears to be taking the lead on the current
00:34:55.120investigation went to the state department where do you do you know where you're applying when you
00:34:59.720when you seek a passport you're applying with them they're the ones who get to decide um
00:35:04.620and they went to them months ago and said we are investigating her for among other things
00:35:11.340making a false statement on her passport application and falsely claiming U.S. citizenship.
00:35:17.220My friends, her goose is cooked. They have got her. There's just way too many instances of her
00:35:26.420claiming her name is Ilhan Omar when we all know it's not, and claiming she's not, you know,
00:35:33.200that she's in a position to marry this guy when she wasn't, claiming she had no contact with him
00:35:37.580when there's plenty of proof she was. Every time you seek a renewal of your passport,
00:35:42.020you have to renew your claim that you are a U.S. citizen. And how recently, you know,
00:35:48.280they seized her passport when they went into that home, her home in D.C. When was the last time she
00:35:52.920did it? Was it within the last five years? Because if it was, that's a new crime and it's within the
00:35:57.100statute of limitations. And by the way, they would already know that because when they went to the
00:36:01.980passport office, sorry, the State Department and asked for evidence of her passport applications,
00:36:06.300they would know exactly when the most recent one was. And then they seized the passport. And that
00:36:10.600alone, that alone is a crime. She's in a lot of trouble. Looking forward to watching this play
00:36:16.240out. But keep in mind what I said. Watch how she always runs from the truth. She doesn't go over
00:36:21.720the target. She never stays on who she married. Oh, yeah. And I was going to say, in her memoir,1.00
00:36:29.340She writes about her husband's, and she talks about Hersey,
00:36:34.060and then she just says that she had an elopement at a low time in her life with a second husband,
00:37:21.540It's not her pattern whenever she speaks of it.
00:37:24.000And didn't we all see that plain as the nose on our faces when she spoke to Chris Hayes, who did a pathetic job, but did manage to squeak out the basic question of, you know, is this your brother? Really, it was more like, why are these crazy conspiracy theorists saying this is your brother? And, you know, was this your brother? And she managed to squeak out, not to my knowledge.0.83
00:37:44.540she's in trouble okay i want to keep going uh there is news in the megan markle case
00:37:54.880today um first of all there is a change.org petition that has been started to remove her
00:38:05.960from masterchef jr in australia remember the other day we talked about how she was like
00:38:12.080this is devastating. She had a friend clearly speak to the mirror or someone claiming to be
00:38:16.900a friend spoke to the mirror UK saying she's devastated. She's crying all the time. Every
00:38:20.980time she looks at Lily, she cries, they said. I guess not Archie. Okay. And she's just devastated
00:38:29.060about the news about her dad. Oh, by the way, guess what? She has a new gig. That was announced
00:38:33.000by the Australian MasterChef junior program within moments. Same day. She wants us to know
00:38:39.280she's really teary and crying, but she won't let that keep her down, folks. She's got to get back
00:38:43.220on TV so she can feel super relevant. So they announced that. And now a petition is calling
00:38:50.260for her to be removed from, they call it their junior MasterChef Australia, this competition
00:38:56.200show, saying her involvement would send the wrong message to our children who are learning and
00:39:01.760growing from the very environment the show seeks to promote. It is imperative that the role of
00:39:06.600host be filled by someone who embodies the values of trust, integrity, and positivity
00:39:10.260that this show represents. This person writes, I urge the producers to reconsider this potential
00:39:15.600appointment and seek a host whose character and actions can truly enrich the experience of both
00:39:19.780participants and viewers of all ages. Let us preserve the integrity and uplifting spirit
00:39:24.140of Junior MasterChef by choosing a host who truly aligns with the positive and wholesome message
00:39:28.340long has stood for. Now, my thoughts on this program is the reason she cannot host this
00:39:34.040is that she is telling us that she has sat idly by for the past eight years while a man she says
00:39:45.900she knew was a child molester, was roaming free in Mexico, the Philippines, and the United States,
00:39:53.440And she did nothing. Nothing. That's what she has told us. Why would we reward that behavior by putting her on a children's program? Seriously, I'm not saying she's a molester.
00:40:10.680But why would we reward her dereliction of basic human duty by putting her on a show that markets to children and in which she will be with children all day?
00:41:06.300Hearing your father accused of this must be unbelievably painful, but one cannot help but wonder how Meghan, and to a lesser extent, Harry, handled the events of the last week and what the public verdict is.
00:41:20.460If possible, people are even more furious and disgusted with Meghan than before, and this time they cannot blame the mainstream media, which have by and large reverted to parroting the Sussex line.
00:42:46.340But remember she used her friends to do a whole thing and people, which is very, very Megan friendly, about like what a good person she was.0.95
00:42:53.320They were trying to do image rehab in 2019 when things had already gone to shit.0.61
00:42:56.940Like, she'd been a princess for not that long, but people were already catching on to her.0.97
00:43:04.260She had reduced Kate to tears, et cetera, et cetera.
00:43:08.080And in February of 2019, she tried to save her reputation by sending the Friends to People magazine, which is a month after the letter exposing her dad was supposed to have arrived.
00:43:17.440And he writes, and whom Megan allowed to state that she had written to her father, quote,
00:43:25.500Dad, I'm so heartbroken. I love you. I have one father.
00:43:31.200Please stop victimizing me through the media so we can repair our relationship, end quote.
00:43:38.580Who would send that to a man they are convinced is an abuser?
00:44:19.000If they did believe the letter and Megan knew instantly that it was right and from 2019 onwards adamantly believed her father was an alleged abuser and vowed never to see or speak to him again,
00:44:30.380then that means they were lying through their teeth when Meghan chose to lay the entire blame
00:44:37.000for her anguish and suicidal ideation at the feet of an evil chimera, is that how you say that word,
00:44:43.960whose head was the media and whose body was the uncaring institution of the royal family.
00:44:50.780In that scenario, she, in fact, was harboring a horrific secret about her father. But Meghan
00:44:57.880and Harry were selling a very different story at the time, into which the tale of an abusive father
00:45:03.260did not fit. Didn't I say this the other day? Like, why was she out there running around
00:45:09.080blaming the royal family for almost driving her to suicide, etc., in all those, in the Netflix
00:45:15.600documentary, etc., when she had been told that her father was a child molester? Which one of
00:45:23.040these things would be more upsetting. That the royal family wants you to be a working royal and
00:45:28.380they don't want you to have side gigs. Oh, and by the way, you're going to be the spare and not the
00:45:32.680heir and be treated accordingly. Or your father is a serial child molester. Come on. They ripped0.99
00:45:42.700the royal family like they were the molesters at every turn. In the Netflix documentary, on Oprah,
00:45:48.860through their friends in magazines and so on,
00:45:51.480through, remember that guy who was basically
00:46:43.800If you believe she accepted the import of this unpublished letter, that absolutely justifies her cutting off her father.
00:46:51.280But it makes many times worse the horrible lies she told about the cruel and unfeeling and racist royal family and the British press.
00:47:00.460If you do not believe she took this letter seriously, as her inaction and fond words to her dad suggest, then last week's statement starts to look horribly opportunistic.
00:47:14.700My opinion, he writes, is that Meghan was ashamed of her ghastly family, had not told
00:47:20.240Harry more than the bare minimum about his new relations, took the first opportunity
00:47:24.880to cut her father off, the staged pictures, the media interviews, and then used the great
00:47:30.540gift of the loveless letter from the first wife of Thomas Markle Sr. to bolster her decision
00:47:37.540to Harry whilst keeping a copy as an insurance policy.
00:47:42.480By the way, currently, Meghan's favorability rate in the royal family is, it's the lowest in the entire family, second only to Prince Andrew. His is at four, hers is at 20, 20%. Just 29% of Britons have a positive opinion of Prince Harry, which is down four points since July.
00:48:05.400um let's see yeah and and uh wills and kate and charles and even camilla are rated pretty high
00:48:18.640so it's really it's pretty incredible it really is like this this fallout and now they said they're
00:48:25.400they're apparently like out of the uk right now they're taking a couple of weeks off from what
00:48:57.800She talked about how they met in 2006. They dated. He cheated on her. They reconnected a decade later and married in 2017. They now have three children. She tried to talk about how funny he was and what a good guy he was.
00:49:15.020the judge stepped in and said, how people meet and get together is often a touching story.
00:49:19.380Move on, which they then did. I mean, this is, the judge clearly does not like Russell and appears
00:49:26.320to be putting a thumb on the scale, but I will say that's not an abnormal thing for a judge to
00:49:32.700do, to say, move it along, enough of the personal backstory. The defense lawyer for Russell tried
00:49:41.160to ask her, what is your view as to the truth of the allegations here? The judge said, no, no, no,
00:49:46.920she's not an expert witness. That's a proper interjection by the judge too. Winter then
00:49:51.460tweaked the question, asking, what is your view as to his character? The lead prosecutor stood
00:49:56.440saying, no, that's wholly unacceptable. Now, I don't know what the rules are over there when it
00:50:00.860comes to character evidence, but at that point, the jury was briefly sent out. This is a woman
00:50:08.220trying to get some sympathy for Russell and trying to convince people that he is human,
00:50:13.620that he is kind, and that he has changed his life. I really, I got to say, I kind of hoped
00:50:21.640that defense would have something better than that. I mean, of course, the wife is going to1.00
00:50:24.940think that. I don't know how much good that's going to do Russell Brand, but his defense case
00:50:30.100continues. And so do we, right after this break, when Stu Bergeer joins us on the unbelievable
00:50:36.480story out of Alaska today. We've all heard those radio ads about owing money to the IRS.
00:50:42.080They try to scare the you-know-what out of you and push you into calling out of fear.
00:50:46.760But Tax Relief Advocates takes a different approach. If you owe the IRS $5,000, $50,000,

00:57:13.200They used this guy who said he was an expert in just this kind of thing.
00:57:16.160They scoped the state out for anybody named Dan Sullivan who they could convince to run.
00:57:21.900This guy who used pseudonyms to meet with this Dan Sullivan and other candidates didn't said his name was Zane, among other pseudonyms, didn't give his real name and convinced them to run, push them into the race.
00:57:37.740Mary Peltola has been lying to us along with her campaign, along with National Democrats, lying to us outright.
00:57:45.380And in the meantime, we have been subjected to segments like this one because the Trump's DOJ has smelled a rat from the beginning.
00:57:54.540They just haven't been able to prove it.
00:57:57.220And Todd Blanche, our attorney general, filed a lawsuit last week saying if the fake Dan Sullivan wins this race, we don't want the results certified because we're going to unleash legal hell on you people.
00:58:31.800This is before the news had broken, but there was plenty of evidence that something nefarious had taken place here.
00:58:38.420And watch the following exchange in SOT 13B.
00:58:41.800So how are you going to find the people who voted and ask them whether or not they intended to vote for this Dan Sullivan or that Dan Sullivan?
00:58:52.340Isn't that undermining the integrity of the election?
00:58:55.340If there were two Democratic Dan Sullivans on the ballot and they were potentially canceling each other out, would you be filing the same lawsuit?
00:59:04.000You agree with me, Dana, right, that this is done to confuse voters.
00:59:11.520You said Democrats are trying to steal this election.
00:59:16.320But steal this election how? Finish your thought.
00:59:19.000It's not my thought, it's his thought.
00:59:20.620By cheating, by putting a candidate up.
00:59:22.160No, no, no, that's not all he said. He didn't stop there.
00:59:24.340You can't just cherry pick a quote from the president of the United States and then ask me to comment on it.
00:59:28.200The president is laying the groundwork for a scenario where the, whether it's Alaska or somewhere else,
00:59:37.240there is in your words a couple of days ago a doomsday scenario and we could be in a situation
00:59:44.120where president trump tries to overturn the election and the result of that could be
00:59:50.580god forbid what we saw after january 6th that is one fundamental question oh you gotta stop it
00:59:58.400with that you are not being a real person come on man good for him and then i just want to give you
01:00:07.100well, I'll get to in a second her other soundbite, but absolutely no curiosity whatsoever
01:00:14.960on how this other Dan Sullivan got there. Only pejorative questions, dismissing Todd Blanche
01:00:21.960as basically a nutcase. Instincts to defend Patola at all. Even though Patola is a very
01:00:27.960controversial person, there's something off about this woman. This is not somebody who you're like,
01:00:31.720all right, this is a normal politician. She's not going to be behind something like this.
01:00:35.560She absolutely is behind it. And on top of that, there's reporting, which I'll get to in a minute, showing that the Peltola campaign operatives who put this whole thing into operation were banking on the idiocy of the Alaskan voters and were had looked at a focus group of some said voters and relished how stupid they thought the Alaskans were.0.99
01:01:02.420thought these were the perfect marks for their little routine. That is what the Democrats think0.98
01:01:08.900of you, my fellow Alaskan voters out there who are thinking about voting red versus blue, okay?1.00
01:01:15.620They think you're absolute idiots and they're laughing at you. That's the other thing that1.00
01:01:21.220has come out in this New York Times article. So you take it from here, Stu. I would love to. This
01:01:26.020is incredible. And I think it's a great thing for not just people in Alaska, not just voters in
01:01:30.960alaska but voters all across the country as we approach tuesday to think about do you really
01:01:36.680want these people in power do you really want to hand them the house and the senate people who are
01:01:42.160doing things like this too it's not just alaska it is uh nebraska where they're running a fake
01:01:48.880independent it is south dakota where they're running a fake independent it is idaho where
01:01:54.020they're running a fake independent it is montana where they're running a fake independent among
01:01:58.260other tricks and different things they're attempting to do, to fool voters. They are
01:02:05.020going to voters in state after state after state and trying to lie to them to make them the subject
01:02:12.480of their vote instead of Republicans. Why? They want power. And, you know, it is central to the
01:02:19.060thesis of seemingly every Democratic politician that the voters in this country are dumb.1.00
01:02:26.120They are a bunch of morons who can't figure these things out for themselves.1.00
01:02:30.400And if we do these things, these little tricks like running a Dan Osborne in Nebraska or1.00
01:02:35.600running another Dan Sullivan in Alaska, we can fool them into putting us back into power
01:02:42.200so that we can do all the things that we will deny doing in all of these states.
01:04:13.380they should know she's not only lying about her her involvement in the dan sullivan situation
01:04:18.900she's lying about all these positions too and she will go in there and she will vote like every0.64
01:04:22.880other democrat from new york and california when she gets this job if she does she lied she lied
01:04:30.480right to them she lied to them all this this cannot stand they cannot say this is i mean that
01:04:36.680ad that vivek unleashed in the ohio gubernatorial race was very controversial but he didn't lie he
01:04:42.540said it was me. And I'm going to put another $4 million behind it because I like it. His whole
01:04:47.480point is she's the liar. My opponent is a liar. She's got a lifetime of lying. But he didn't try1.00
01:04:53.300to dodge responsibility for the ad. Here, she's been telling everyone she had nothing to do with0.95
01:04:58.720it. Then she made the colossally stupid blunder of firing her campaign chair. And that woman1.00
01:05:07.380is scorned. She's been dishing the tea on Peltola ever since. That's how the New York Times keeps1.00
01:05:15.780getting these exclusives. And even in this piece, which again is very lengthy, they start by saying,
01:05:21.740okay, this woman Rios is our main source. She was part of it and she's got all the receipts.
01:05:28.160But a week before we went to press, she called us to say, I want to retract every statement I've
01:05:33.160made and I don't want to be your source on anything. And I'm sorry to break it to you,
01:05:37.860Ms. Rios. That's not how it works. Once you've told us and forked over the evidence, it's ours
01:05:43.560now. It's reportable. And we don't have to take your quote retraction that you don't want to
01:05:48.680participate. A lot of people have second thoughts after they speak to a reporter. Too bad for you.
01:05:53.700That's why reporters aren't your friends. They want the scoop. That's what they want more than
01:05:58.740anything else. So she tried to dial it back. It was too late. And this woman has been spilling the
01:06:04.220tea on her, including here. And now the jig is up like she is caught red handed. And so the New York0.92
01:06:10.880Times, to its credit, they write about how they their reporter went out to Alaska to to find this
01:06:22.380fake Dan Sullivan and to do their reporting. Steve, what's the name of the reporter? Kellen what?
01:06:28.740We're going to look it up. He's good. This guy, he's good. So he goes out to Alaska to try to figure out what happened here. And on the Daily Podcast today, which is all about their scoop, they interview this reporter and he did catch up with fake Dan Sullivan, meaning Daniel J instead of Daniel. Daniel S. Sullivan is the senator. S for senator. So you can remember he's actually the real guy. Anyway, he found Daniel J. And here is some of their conversation.
01:06:58.340Then I got down to the question that everyone wanted to know.
01:07:03.220I think the reason anybody runs is they're dissatisfied with what's going on.
01:07:06.960And we've had the senator for 12 years.
01:07:09.580And if you need a change, I'm willing to step up and do that.
01:07:15.220He said that he was a moderate Republican who was fed up with Senator Dan Sullivan's policies
01:07:22.460and thought he might throw his hat in the ring.
01:07:25.060And he said that people in his life for years had been making jokes that he should run against Senator Sullivan because he shared the guy's name.
01:07:33.420You're the good Dan Sullivan. I wish you were our Senator and to the better Dan Sullivan.
01:07:37.320There's this visceral connection you have with someone who has your own name.
01:07:42.640Some people even called him Senator around town.
01:07:47.480I don't think the Republican Party needs to be the MAGA Party.
01:07:55.060Okay. So you hear him there super chatty with Kellen Browning, who broke the story, until he realized what they were going to write. And then he went dark and stopped speaking to Kellen, according to the New York Times.
01:08:12.140But here's what Kellen reports in the actual piece, that Dan Sullivan was contacted by this operative, Jared, J-E-R-I-D, Kurtz, the guy who was supposedly experts, a specialist in secret ballot maneuvers, according to this fired campaign chief, Ms. Rios.
01:08:34.180And Mr. Sullivan lived in the tiny village of Petersburg, and Mr. Kurtz, the operative,
01:08:39.000described him as amenable to running if it would help Ms. Peltola.
01:08:44.220Mr. Kurtz told us when we found him, according to Ms. Rios, he said that Mr. Sullivan,
01:08:53.060the fake Dan Sullivan, said he hated Trump.
01:08:57.260And if it was going to help Mary, he liked Mary.
01:09:00.080He didn't have any interest in being a politician, but he would do it if this would help.
01:09:06.920Mr. Sullivan has maintained that he entered the race of his own volition, did not respond to repeated requests for comment over the past week.
01:09:16.700Mr. Kurtz, the operative, did not respond to repeated requests for comment in recent days.
01:09:21.620He removed his LinkedIn profile from public view and made his ex-account private.
01:09:26.960um so this guy you heard him he's chit-chatting like oh i really just you know i people have
01:09:34.140always said you have the same name and i just think that republicans they don't have to be
01:09:38.580maga you know we can we can be and i'm a moderate republican no no he's nothing other than a trump
01:09:45.840hater who was unaffiliated whose sole goal was to help mary peltola that like it's amazing they
01:09:52.840got this guy to speak on mic, and then he went dark, and so did the operative, who have remained
01:09:58.420dark, but text messages viewed by the Times show officials with the DSCC and the Peltola campaign
01:10:04.940communicating for months about the project, Stu. They were very stupid. It was all in writing.1.00
01:10:12.020There are plenty of records, and this woman, Rios, gave away the farm.
01:10:16.320Yeah, and then was intimidated to try to take the farm back, which is another part of the story.
01:10:21.620can't get the farm back i'd love to know though what pressures she was feeling to need to feel
01:10:27.340the need to send that after you know leaking stuff theoretically to the times for a while0.97
01:10:31.660on peltola all of a sudden right before this report this close to the election she has a0.99
01:10:36.580sudden you know change of heart and has wants to give no sourcing at all on this boss she
01:10:41.860supposedly is disgruntled on that's a fascinating part of the story too um you know it really comes
01:10:47.220that whole, the whole process is so dark and twisted. And the fact that they have all the
01:10:51.980texts to prove this, they have all the documents, all the receipts to prove this is, is really
01:10:59.020remarkable. And I, you know, I, I think you mentioned like, you know, like, like you look
01:11:05.460at this and say, well, who would, who, who knew this? Who, who would believe this? This is now
01:11:08.820new information, but like, let's be honest about it. We all knew this, right? The second this
01:11:12.580happened, we all knew something like this was behind it. We might not have known the names,
01:11:18.160and I don't know the exact players, but of course, obviously, this was an attempt to manipulate the
01:11:22.940voters of Alaska into misusing their votes. These people who came to us during Bush versus Gordon,
01:11:28.720like, oh, the intent of the voter is so important to us. Democracy is the thing that we care about
01:11:34.700so, so, so much, but let me steal a bunch of Alaskans' votes here.
01:11:38.860um it dies in darkness it dies in darkness with all this going on we all knew right we all knew
01:11:45.660something like this was happening and you know who else knew dana bash dana bash 100% knew
01:11:52.840entering that interview exactly what happened she again might not have known the text messages
01:12:00.140were going to come out on record because i doubt she would have handled that uh interview that way0.99
01:12:04.400stupid now yeah she looks ridiculous but like she's faking this sort of uh naive idea as to1.00
01:12:12.100what's going on here and you know it doesn't serve the whatever four viewers they have left on cnn1.00
01:12:18.440it doesn't serve voters in america to just act and fake as if uh because trump is their enemy
01:12:26.500they get to say whatever they want and act however they want it's really kind of disgraceful
01:12:31.240Why would she basically vouch for the Peltola campaign?
01:12:35.660She doesn't know whether this woman is honest or not.0.87
01:12:38.340She's basically going off of she's a Democrat, so she must be telling the truth.
01:12:42.660You know, like, oh, well, the Alaska Supreme Court said that there was no basis to find that there was interference by the Peltola campaign.
01:12:59.760I am going to go back and pour over the transcript of his argument and figure out whether this guy violated his ethical obligation.
01:13:07.060You have a duty of candor to the court.
01:13:09.220The reason defense lawyers, criminal defense lawyers, tell their clients, don't tell me anything.
01:13:13.100I don't want to know your explanation for whether you did the crime or not, is so that they can have wiggle room to argue in front of the court without violating their duty of candor.
01:13:21.600You can't go in there and knowingly suborn perjury from a witness.
01:13:25.000Get him to tell a story you know is false.
01:13:26.600But if you don't have your client tell you the story, you have wiggle room.
01:13:30.280This guy, if he went in there and made knowing misrepresentations to the court, is going to be in a lot of trouble.
01:13:35.960And I want to see what Dan Sullivan said, if anything, on the record.
01:14:43.160But what is new is that nowadays that you really can't get away with doing these things.
01:14:46.780There's always going to be some kind of trail.
01:14:48.360I use the term dirty tricks intentionally because it's not illegal. This is something that is untoward. It is something that Democrats have tried to do in races where they think it could be to their advantage.
01:15:05.040These are dirty tricks. They are legal dirty tricks. But again, at a time when you have a president and his supporters, particularly those with very big platforms, trying to undermine the election, and Alaska is a potentially key and even pivotal Senate seat that could determine the outcome of the control of Senate, it's a big deal.
01:15:30.140It's absolutely a big deal, and I think there's no question, despite, as you all have pointed out, and I think it's worth us saying again, this was not illegal, something that they are going to blow up.
01:15:42.960Stu, are you gleaning anything from their messaging today?
01:15:46.220I don't know. Was it legal or not? I couldn't tell from that clip.
01:15:49.880I mean, they really had the talking point down immediately there.
01:15:53.460Now, let me tell you something. Let me tell you something.
01:15:56.100There's a great ex-follow called The Prosecutor's Podcast, and they have their own podcast.
01:16:00.960And these are two former, well, two current lawyers.
01:16:06.540He's a Harvard Law School grad who has worked in state and federal government, clerk for judges, worked in private practice, and served as a prosecutor.
01:16:12.500And Alice LaCour, who's a Yale Law School graduate, native Texan, who brought her legal background into deep dive trial and cold case analysis.
01:16:19.840And here's what their take was upon seeing the news.
01:16:24.160They write, I was curious if this conspiracy to trick people into wasting their vote was
01:16:48.860The whole point is to deprive people of their vote.
01:16:51.780Number two, criminal impersonation assumes a false identity and doesn't act in the assumed character with the intent to defraud.
01:17:00.520By the way, Ilhan Omar might be able to she might be looking at charges under that.
01:17:04.940According to The New York Times, there were multiple false identities in this fraud.
01:17:10.440That operative was constantly using fake identities.
01:17:13.620But then they write not the least of which is fake Dan Sullivan, who is using his real name to trick people into believing he is someone else.
01:17:20.700Great fact pattern for a case. They offer up unsworn falsification with you when you with the intent to mislead a public servant in the performance of a duty, submit a false written statement in an application for a benefit.
01:17:35.680fake Dan Sullivan, lied multiple times, including to the Alaska Supreme Court, they say,
01:17:41.080to get on and stay on the ballot. Those are just three that are potential here. And then here is
01:17:48.500President Trump, who weighed in with the following, SOT 12. This is yesterday? Yeah, yesterday.
01:17:57.860Democrats in Alaska, despite their sworn statements to the contrary, put a man named Dan Sullivan on the ballot in order to continue the public with highly, think of it, they wanted to continue the public dialogue.
01:18:15.360They wanted to say that there was a man named Dan Sullivan on the ballot.
01:24:02.520Every reporter needs to shove a mic in her face1.00
01:24:05.280Did you do it? Stop talking about Lisa Murkowski and Iran or anything else. Did you or didn't you?
01:24:14.780What do you have to say about your campaign staffers mocking the intelligence of Alaska voters?
01:24:20.160Do you apologize? I mean, that's the only thing that people should be asking from now until Tuesday.
01:24:25.900Yeah. And these aren't like super PAC people. These aren't like, oh, you know, loosely affiliated left wing groups.
01:24:31.880these are campaign people. These are people who are working for her. Yeah, it was her staff who's
01:24:38.120in the middle of all this. And, you know, it's hard to imagine. I come back to the reporting a
01:24:44.860little bit on this, which is interesting, the fact that the New York Times, because they could
01:24:48.040have waited on this, to be honest, and we should give them credit. They easily could have delayed
01:24:51.380this. Well, they kind of did. Well, they did wait until the last minute. They've been working it for
01:24:55.360two months. And Hugh Hewitt was pointing out online, we've already had, I think, 54,000 people
01:25:00.780vote in alaska early yes so with all due respect the times uh it would have been helpful if they
01:25:06.940had broken this a little sooner and you know yeah like i don't want to crap on the messenger because
01:25:12.500thanks to them we know about it but we know about it kind of late in the process go ahead agree and
01:25:16.440i don't want to overstate my praise here for the new york times i am glad that they did this and
01:25:20.420they didn't wait until you know i feel like typically we'd hear about this on like friday
01:25:24.040after the election when we had absolutely no way that we could do anything about it
01:25:27.740So I'm glad that we hear about it. But and I think there's a line between like left wing reporters and commentators, which I've always found interesting, which is there is there is some there's one group of those types of reporters who, while they have partisan leanings, will tell the truth, particularly when they are annoyed they've been lied to when they when when because they have been asking about this stuff for a while.
01:25:56.840I mean, this has obviously been out there in a story for a while.
01:27:48.680Like, we could use a functioning CNN in this country.
01:27:51.380We could use a functioning New York Times in this country. And the fact that we have to kind of, you know, praise every time there's a scattered shower of journalism at one of these places is a disappointment. We really should be able to depend on them for more. But again, when you get one that's good, let's just be happy for about five hours.
01:35:31.300Yeah, I know. Haley Stevens with a very strange cartoon voice, but I still think she probably would have won. Then, you know, Paxton's interesting. You know, the polling is better for Paxton than the vibes are here in Texas. You know, hundreds of millions.0.76
01:35:46.260I should tell you, the latest poll, the latest CNN poll has Paxton down by six.
01:36:14.860the audience should keep in mind you know of what you speak keep going yeah and not only will uh and
01:36:18.700like you know look the people are much more aligned with paxton than they are talarico policy wise and
01:36:24.080i think there's a really good argument for paxton policy wise like he's done a lot of good things
01:36:27.840um but you know people have questions about and there's just not a lot of passion you know you've
01:36:32.220brought up these points over and over again um but to just kind of reinforce this we did a a thing
01:36:36.960at predictableshow.com called the republican freakout index which was we went through all
01:36:42.560these underlying sort of uh problems republicans are having in these states and ranked them and it
01:36:48.300was you know stuff like uh oil gas prices a diesel uh dependency um you know tariff effect on
01:36:55.300individual states a high level of hispanic voters a high level of young voters a low level of older
01:37:01.080voters that might be more uh positive for republicans and we said which states does this
01:37:06.380affect the most in the entire union the number one state on the entire list out of 50 was texas
01:37:11.460uh that hit was hit hardest by those factors number two was michigan so a really difficult
01:37:17.080uh group there um the other one i think i said was annie andrews which is i mean that should be
01:37:23.380first of all it should be against darlene graham in south carolina yeah we shouldn't even be talking
01:37:26.960about that race i mean this is this is the we're talking about uh you know democratic mega tsunami
01:37:31.960territory but the problem with this race is you know look darlene graham nordone is uh was appointed
01:37:37.500to this this uh this seat uh she has not she's not a good candidate she is mostly you know only
01:37:45.060republicans uh a tie to south carolina gives her hope here she's not a very good candidate
01:37:50.140her opponent has run a halfway decent race i think this is still on the fringes of that wave
01:37:54.960if it's that bad we're talking about you know everything kansas uh we're talking about nebraska
01:38:00.600we're talking about all sorts of races that are on the fringes here uh and have become competitive
01:38:06.300going to the democrats and who knows probably a couple surprises i mean there's talk about
01:38:11.060mississippi in that context if we're that far down the road god only knows where we're stopping
01:38:15.460this wave oh my god i mean now that's don't even say mississippi don't say that mr mississippi
01:38:22.540should not be making an appearance on a tuesday night as a big story um i would like to tell the
01:38:29.820audience that cal she is a sponsor of the show i really love them they reflect what traders actually
01:38:35.060believe. It's real-time odds on the midterms. You can give it a try if you want by using our code
01:38:39.960MEGAN KELLY, or you can just click the link in our show description. By the way, if you're a new
01:38:43.820user and you haven't tried it yet, they'll give you 25 bucks free when you trade 25 bucks, and it's
01:38:49.300just kind of fun. So I'll put my money where my mouth is, perhaps not just with Kalshi, but with
01:38:55.720you, Stu. Back to those polls. So yeah, CNN polls today have Tallarico up by six over Paxton. Margin
01:39:03.800of error is 4.2. So it's kind of, I mean, that goes either way. So it's outside the margin of
01:39:09.640error, right? But it's whatever. I don't know. Six is a big number. Michigan, they have El Sayed
01:39:14.920up by seven, seven over Rogers. In Maine, they've got the cousin stupper, Troy Jackson, up four
01:39:22.760over Collins. Apparently, Mainers don't mind if you have sex with your cousin and reproduce with1.00
01:39:29.700them. And not like sixth cousin, second, second cousin. It's very strange. But in any event,0.99
01:39:36.820that cousin Stupor is up by four. In Kansas, the Democrat is up four as well. Hamilton,
01:39:44.140Adam Hamilton over Roger Marshall. There's another poll out of, it's Texas Southern University.
01:39:51.940They've got Tallarico up in Texas, but only by two. In the same race, they have Governor Abbott,
01:39:57.740who's a Republican, the incumbent up three over his Democratic challenger. So you're seeing
01:40:03.180potential ballot splitting, at least in the polling there. They like Governor Abbott and
01:40:08.240they just do not like Ken Paxton. But it is so hard to imagine Texans putting Tala Frico,
01:40:15.840as Trump calls him, into the U.S. Senate, Stu. I just, like, I can't believe Texans would do it.
01:40:27.740It is. That has been my stance, essentially, since the beginning of this.
01:40:32.160You know, I my thought was we'd come back out of out of the summer and 100, 200 million dollars of ads showing what a weirdo James Tallarico is would hit the airwaves.
01:40:43.800And the people of Texas would say, OK, look, I don't like the situation we're in, but we're not going to go that direction.
01:40:50.900We don't want that. I might not love Ken Paxton, but hey, we're going to let's settle this on the right side.
01:40:57.740make sure that we have sane representation in washington um the polls have not shown that i
01:41:02.540mean it's moved i would say it's moved with a cnn um poll as as an exception moved a little bit
01:41:08.340toward uh paxton over the past couple of weeks i think it's tightened a little bit that was my
01:41:13.320impression too yeah i think that's real um and i think uh there's about a five to seven point gap
01:41:19.380in almost every single poll between abbott and uh talarico you know as a person who lives in texas
01:41:25.260You know, having another terrible senator is really bad. Having a terrible governor like Gina Hinojosa is, to me, even worse, because that's going to affect probably my day-to-day life here in the state.0.82
01:41:35.600So that stuff is scary, and there's just not a lot of tickets splitting left anymore.
