00:00:30.620 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show.
00:00:32.540 Your home for open, honest, and provocative conversations.
00:00:41.720 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly.
00:00:43.400 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show and happy Friday.
00:00:46.300 Boy, do we have a good show for you today.
00:00:49.160 Coming up, former Hollywood star Kirk Cameron
00:00:51.320 on his new plan to fight back against the censoring
00:00:53.960 of conservatives in America, including himself.
00:00:57.500 He is taking it on in a potential major legal battle,
00:01:01.240 so we'll get into all of it with him when he joins us.
00:01:05.120 But first, corporate media silence on the New York Post's
00:01:08.600 reporting yesterday regarding Dr. Gal Luft,
00:01:11.860 a potential witness on Biden family corruption.
00:01:15.420 I mean, when I say silence, I mean absolute silence.
00:01:20.480 They won't cover this story.
00:01:22.820 Dr. Luft released a video making pretty damning allegations
00:01:27.380 against President Biden and his son Hunter.
00:01:30.400 And yet, in the media, crickets.
00:01:33.460 The reporter who broke the story,
00:01:35.060 Miranda Devine of the New York Post, joins me now.
00:01:37.280 Miranda, thank you so much for being here
00:01:39.600 and for all of your great reporting on this.
00:01:41.860 Can we just start with that?
00:01:43.060 How stunning.
00:01:44.360 We did a search today just to see who covered it.
00:01:46.400 We came up with the New York Sun and an outlet called K News,
00:01:51.820 and we covered it yesterday.
00:01:53.780 I mean, but absolutely no one in the mainstream
00:01:56.080 went with the story.
00:01:58.660 Hi, Megan.
00:01:59.680 No, that's sort of par for the course, isn't it,
00:02:02.080 when it comes to this Biden story?
00:02:04.100 And there's really no excuse on this
00:02:06.140 because the video is out there for everyone to see.
00:02:09.220 And Gal Luft was a well-known staple of the think tank world
00:02:15.560 in Washington, D.C. for a decade.
00:02:18.260 He had on his think tank such luminaries
00:02:21.440 as former CIA director James Woolsey,
00:02:25.320 former NSA director Robert McFarlane.
00:02:28.740 So it's not hard to check out that he was,
00:02:32.460 at one point anyway, a legitimate guy.
00:02:34.400 I don't understand really how long the rest of the media
00:02:39.200 can keep covering for the Bidens
00:02:40.960 because I think the avalanche of information
00:02:44.040 coming from whistleblowers
00:02:46.520 is going to become impossible for them to ignore forever.
00:02:51.200 We looked just to see in his past,
00:02:54.200 in the not-too-distant past,
00:02:56.000 he appeared or was cited by NBC, NPR, Newsweek.
00:03:02.220 I could go on.
00:03:02.900 Yeah, he's been treated as a credible authority
00:03:06.220 by these mainstream news organizations in the past,
00:03:08.840 but now that he's alleging he can testify
00:03:11.600 to corruption by Joe and Hunter Biden
00:03:14.900 and can provide the specifics on it
00:03:16.660 and had a meeting with six officials
00:03:19.920 from the FBI and DOJ in Cyprus in 2019,
00:03:24.460 completely ignoring.
00:03:26.820 And it's not just, I know they hate the Post,
00:03:29.500 but as you point out, the guys on videotape,
00:03:31.340 that was what was so extraordinary
00:03:32.880 about your report yesterday.
00:03:34.120 Yes, you wrote it up, but you had the link.
00:03:36.060 I watched it myself.
00:03:37.000 He's on camera detailing the whole thing.
00:03:39.700 And it's one thing that you can cover it skeptically.
00:03:42.260 Maybe you say, I don't know.
00:03:43.500 I question the motives.
00:03:44.820 Fine.
00:03:45.840 Nothing.
00:03:46.800 They're not interested.
00:03:47.740 Well, yeah, exactly.
00:03:50.920 And look, you have to, and I did up front,
00:03:53.520 say this man is a fugitive.
00:03:55.260 He's on the run.
00:03:56.780 He filmed that video in some undisclosed location
00:04:00.420 because he skipped bail in Cyprus.
00:04:03.480 And now his explanation for that is that he says
00:04:08.260 that he was only charged with, you know,
00:04:11.280 gun running charges, which he says are ridiculous
00:04:13.440 and he's innocent of, and FARA violations,
00:04:16.980 you know, being a foreign agent violations.
00:04:20.080 He says he was only charged to keep him quiet.
00:04:23.300 And it is true.
00:04:24.680 I have confirmed with James Comer,
00:04:27.060 the head of the oversight committee,
00:04:28.360 that they were talking to Gal Luft,
00:04:32.060 the Israeli professor, and before he was arrested,
00:04:36.360 sorry, after he was arrested,
00:04:37.520 before he skipped bail,
00:04:38.980 and wanted him to be a witness.
00:04:41.640 And James Comer also told me this week
00:04:43.560 they would still like him to be a witness
00:04:45.580 if they can figure out some way of doing that.
00:04:48.800 So his story seems to check out in all sorts of ways.
00:04:53.600 And as you said,
00:04:54.920 he's already given his allegations to the government
00:04:58.400 in March of 2019.
00:05:00.860 They flew four FBI agents and two prosecutors
00:05:04.780 from the Southern District of New York to Brussels
00:05:07.480 to meet with him for two days,
00:05:09.180 for something like 14 hours,
00:05:12.140 to get his information.
00:05:14.080 So obviously they thought he was a credible witness then.
00:05:17.060 They must have treated him seriously
00:05:20.040 to spend so much time and so much money on that episode.
00:05:24.220 And yet they never seemed to follow up on it.
00:05:27.680 They never seemed to investigate it.
00:05:30.060 His information was buried.
00:05:32.980 They didn't interview, for instance,
00:05:35.180 he mentioned Rob Walker,
00:05:37.220 who was a Biden family associate,
00:05:39.680 that he said all the money from this Chinese company
00:05:42.440 was being funneled through.
00:05:44.360 Well, it took the FBI 21 months
00:05:47.520 to actually interview Rob Walker,
00:05:50.540 and only because they'd been told
00:05:52.340 by multiple other sources,
00:05:53.980 that Rob Walker was the guy
00:05:56.680 who the Chinese were paying
00:05:59.780 and who was then funneling dribs and drabs
00:06:02.760 to at least three family members.
00:06:04.480 We know about a million dollars
00:06:06.120 came to the Biden family that way
00:06:08.640 because James Comer now has the bank accounts
00:06:12.460 and the bank statements,
00:06:13.880 and he's made them public.
00:06:15.180 Is it possible,
00:06:17.040 because this is Trump's DOJ
00:06:18.940 that went out to Brussels
00:06:19.940 and met with him in March of 19,
00:06:21.860 is it possible they met with him and said,
00:06:24.040 this guy's full of it?
00:06:26.140 You know, they did check it out internally
00:06:28.240 that we would know nothing about
00:06:30.020 and said, we don't believe him.
00:06:31.900 Let's move on.
00:06:32.640 And we actually might think he's a criminal.
00:06:34.580 Let's pursue that.
00:06:35.880 And then he got arrested,
00:06:36.980 you know, this past spring.
00:06:39.000 And the reason they didn't follow up
00:06:40.600 on the allegations about Hunter and Joe
00:06:42.400 was that to the extent they kicked those tires,
00:06:45.120 they deflated quickly.
00:06:47.660 Yes.
00:06:48.000 And that's certainly something
00:06:49.760 I always keep in mind with all of this.
00:06:52.860 You know, you can go the conspiracy route
00:06:54.800 or you can try and say,
00:06:56.460 well, let's look at this
00:06:57.460 as if there's no corruption
00:06:59.760 inside the DOJ and the FBI.
00:07:02.260 Maybe they did track down everything
00:07:04.280 and they found that there was nothing to it.
00:07:07.060 Unfortunately, the pattern that we saw
00:07:09.520 with Gal Laft has been repeated
00:07:11.220 across about five different sources,
00:07:15.560 whistleblowers or whatever you want to call them,
00:07:18.080 witnesses, who have told the DOJ,
00:07:21.540 the FBI, the authorities about allegations,
00:07:25.620 about evidence to do with bribery
00:07:27.880 of the Biden family
00:07:29.500 by multiple different countries.
00:07:32.260 So Gal Laft is talking about China.
00:07:34.700 We have others who've talked about Ukraine,
00:07:37.400 including Bud Cummins,
00:07:40.260 who was the US attorney for Arkansas.
00:07:43.900 And he was no longer,
00:07:44.940 he was in private practice
00:07:45.980 when someone came to him
00:07:47.280 with some allegations
00:07:48.700 about money going to the Bidens
00:07:50.420 that was for a bribe,
00:07:52.040 for a quid pro quo from Ukraine.
00:07:54.400 He brought that again to Jeffrey Berman,
00:07:56.900 the US attorney
00:07:57.800 for the Southern District of New York
00:07:59.940 at that time.
00:08:01.180 And nothing,
00:08:03.000 he says that that was never investigated.
00:08:05.020 He was never followed up.
00:08:06.720 But what he did find
00:08:07.700 a couple of years later
00:08:08.900 when he was informed by Apple
00:08:11.020 was that the FBI
00:08:12.660 had gone after his cloud,
00:08:14.980 had a surveillance warrant.
00:08:16.620 They were spying
00:08:17.340 on all his text messages
00:08:19.220 and emails.
00:08:20.780 And, you know,
00:08:21.260 that's a pattern we saw
00:08:22.360 also with Rudy Giuliani.
00:08:24.900 Unbeknownst to Rudy Giuliani,
00:08:26.540 he also was being spied on
00:08:28.100 by the FBI
00:08:28.940 from pretty much the moment
00:08:31.740 that he became Donald Trump's
00:08:33.440 personal attorney
00:08:34.640 right through to the election.
00:08:37.580 And during 2020,
00:08:39.080 when he received
00:08:40.400 the information
00:08:41.940 from the laptop repair shop owner
00:08:44.020 that he had the laptop
00:08:45.740 and that it had a whole lot
00:08:47.000 of incriminating material on there,
00:08:49.000 especially about Ukraine.
00:08:50.960 And the FBI
00:08:52.740 had full access
00:08:53.740 to that email
00:08:54.660 from John Paul MacIsaac
00:08:56.000 to Rudy Giuliani
00:08:57.080 because they were spying
00:08:58.600 on his cloud.
00:08:59.300 And the FBI also
00:09:00.760 would have had access
00:09:01.820 to my communications
00:09:03.020 with Rudy Giuliani
00:09:04.660 during that period,
00:09:06.320 which, you know,
00:09:08.360 would have led anyone
00:09:09.480 to see them,
00:09:10.700 to know that the New York Post
00:09:12.240 was going to publish imminently.
00:09:15.600 And, you know,
00:09:16.600 I mean, how long,
00:09:17.380 how far do you want to go?
00:09:18.060 You could even say,
00:09:18.940 well, the FBI
00:09:20.000 had had the laptop
00:09:21.100 since December 2019
00:09:22.620 and they went
00:09:24.600 to the social media companies
00:09:26.360 and pre-bunked our story
00:09:27.920 saying that, you know,
00:09:29.540 expect a Russian disinformation
00:09:31.440 hack and dump
00:09:32.520 before, you know,
00:09:34.620 in October,
00:09:35.180 before the election,
00:09:36.160 probably to do with
00:09:37.100 Hunter Biden.
00:09:38.980 So all this whole pattern,
00:09:41.660 Tony Bobulinski,
00:09:43.240 the Ukraine witness
00:09:44.820 that, you know,
00:09:46.820 is the subject
00:09:47.860 of that FD 1023 form
00:09:50.720 that James Klymer managed.
00:09:52.920 The FBI strategy
00:09:53.060 from Congress.
00:09:54.780 That's right.
00:09:55.700 So, you know,
00:09:57.120 Gal Loft is one piece
00:09:58.760 of the jigsaw puzzle.
00:09:59.860 You could maybe dismiss him,
00:10:01.120 say he's just a fugitive.
00:10:03.340 But what happened to him
00:10:05.520 has happened to
00:10:07.220 at least five or four
00:10:09.160 or five other people.
00:10:10.840 It's so disturbing
00:10:12.040 when you lay it out
00:10:12.860 the way you just did.
00:10:14.600 And let's not forget
00:10:15.280 the meeting with Gal Loft
00:10:16.860 happened in March of 19.
00:10:18.780 It was December of 19,
00:10:20.300 as you point out,
00:10:20.820 that they did have the laptop.
00:10:22.040 And so and we know
00:10:23.700 that they buried that.
00:10:24.460 So it's like, yeah,
00:10:25.580 even if they thought
00:10:26.520 Gal Loft may not have been
00:10:27.740 telling the truth
00:10:28.400 or had an axe to grind,
00:10:29.860 more and more
00:10:30.580 confirming allegations
00:10:32.360 in the lane of corruption,
00:10:34.060 at least, came in.
00:10:35.600 And we've yet to be given
00:10:36.880 a full explanation
00:10:37.720 for what they did with it.
00:10:38.800 In fact, now we fast forward
00:10:39.920 to today and he gets
00:10:41.560 this sweetheart plea deal
00:10:42.840 that brushes off
00:10:43.680 the tax charges
00:10:44.680 and the gun charges.
00:10:46.500 And there's nothing
00:10:47.860 on corruption.
00:10:49.560 And while they gave him
00:10:50.320 a fig leaf of,
00:10:51.420 well, the investigation's
00:10:52.480 ongoing, the U.S.
00:10:53.600 attorney in Delaware,
00:10:54.320 David Weiss, it's ongoing,
00:10:55.420 which allows Hunter
00:10:56.740 to not give testimony
00:10:58.580 before Congress.
00:10:59.420 He can just plead the fifth
00:11:00.300 because he can say,
00:11:01.240 oh, you know,
00:11:01.920 there's a criminal case
00:11:02.760 ongoing against me.
00:11:03.560 I can't I don't have
00:11:04.200 to speak to any of this.
00:11:05.860 Do we really believe
00:11:07.080 it's ongoing?
00:11:07.800 Do we really believe
00:11:08.600 David Weiss or anybody else
00:11:09.720 is actually investigating
00:11:12.320 Hunter slash Joe corruption
00:11:15.520 other than House
00:11:16.680 Oversight Committee?
00:11:18.800 I don't think that
00:11:20.580 they are investigating Hunter.
00:11:22.180 There may be other
00:11:23.160 family members,
00:11:25.100 other aspects of the
00:11:26.620 investigation that are
00:11:28.220 ongoing,
00:11:28.800 but you can't have
00:11:31.000 much faith in anything
00:11:32.460 that happens under
00:11:34.080 Weiss's direction
00:11:35.500 because of what we heard
00:11:37.440 from not one,
00:11:38.260 but two IRS whistleblowers
00:11:39.920 about the slow walking,
00:11:41.820 about the obstruction
00:11:42.680 from the Department of Justice,
00:11:44.000 about the mixed messages
00:11:46.480 that came from Weiss
00:11:48.300 and the Attorney General
00:11:49.860 about whether or not
00:11:51.540 Weiss had full authority.
00:11:53.780 Actually, they didn't call it full.
00:11:54.860 They had an interesting
00:11:55.640 word for it.
00:11:57.240 I think it was ultimate authority,
00:11:59.920 which is, you know,
00:12:01.060 subtly different
00:12:01.900 if you're a lawyer
00:12:02.700 from full or complete authority.
00:12:04.880 Ultimate authority means,
00:12:06.640 you know,
00:12:06.980 after a whole lot of steps
00:12:08.060 are taken,
00:12:08.560 then at the end of those steps,
00:12:11.000 you have authority.
00:12:11.960 And obviously those steps
00:12:15.720 were not taken
00:12:16.540 for those most serious charges
00:12:19.420 or those most serious allegations
00:12:21.320 to do with the Ukraine payments,
00:12:26.640 anything to do with
00:12:28.680 Farrah violations,
00:12:30.580 sort of Hunter
00:12:31.360 or his other family members
00:12:32.940 acting as foreign agents
00:12:34.700 or other corruption issues
00:12:37.980 that traced all the way
00:12:39.660 to Joe Biden,
00:12:41.300 such as who is the big guy.
00:12:43.460 All of those were involved
00:12:45.120 in a lot of the early charges.
00:12:48.040 And as the IRS whistleblower,
00:12:50.040 Gary Shapley,
00:12:50.800 who was the supervising agent
00:12:52.220 for this tax investigation
00:12:54.260 in Delaware under Weiss,
00:12:56.300 as he testified,
00:12:57.340 once they were not able
00:13:00.600 to charge those offences
00:13:03.240 in Washington, D.C.
00:13:05.140 and also in the Central District
00:13:07.960 of California
00:13:08.800 because the U.S. attorneys there
00:13:10.380 appointed by Joe Biden
00:13:11.740 refused to allow them.
00:13:13.760 Once those charges
00:13:14.940 were off the table,
00:13:15.940 all you had left with
00:13:17.060 was a couple of little misdemeanours.
00:13:19.980 And that's exactly
00:13:20.920 how it panned out.
00:13:21.980 And I just think that Weiss,
00:13:26.580 who now is, you know,
00:13:28.180 refusing to go in
00:13:30.060 and talk to the Oversight Committee
00:13:32.940 or any of the other
00:13:33.800 Republican-controlled committees
00:13:35.240 in the House,
00:13:36.920 he has given multiple stories
00:13:40.960 that don't add up.
00:13:43.000 He's told his staff one thing,
00:13:44.960 the investigative team,
00:13:46.580 that he did have authority,
00:13:48.280 but then he had to go
00:13:49.380 and ask the Attorney General
00:13:51.800 for more authority
00:13:53.140 and was knocked back.
00:13:54.600 And then Merrick Garland
00:13:55.960 under oath says,
00:13:57.160 no, that's not true.
00:13:58.880 He has,
00:13:59.580 he had ultimate authority.
00:14:01.840 Someone is lying
00:14:02.920 in all of this.
00:14:04.040 And it just,
00:14:06.500 you know,
00:14:06.840 it comes back
00:14:07.720 to really Joe Biden
00:14:09.200 and what Gal Luft,
00:14:12.040 one of the reasons
00:14:13.060 that I believed
00:14:15.140 what Gal Luft
00:14:16.140 was telling me
00:14:17.220 was not only
00:14:18.800 did he provide documents
00:14:20.320 that showed that,
00:14:21.320 you know,
00:14:22.480 that Brussels meeting
00:14:23.480 with the six
00:14:24.680 FDOJ officials
00:14:26.840 did occur
00:14:27.480 because he gave me
00:14:28.260 a letter that
00:14:28.880 Geoffrey Berman,
00:14:30.060 who was then
00:14:30.640 the US Attorney
00:14:31.340 for the Southern District,
00:14:32.800 had given him.
00:14:34.340 And he gave me emails
00:14:35.460 between his lawyer
00:14:36.500 and the then acting
00:14:39.580 Deputy Attorney General
00:14:42.520 Richard Donoghue,
00:14:43.860 when he went back,
00:14:45.040 sent his lawyer back
00:14:46.000 in October of 2020
00:14:47.560 to reiterate
00:14:48.260 those allegations.
00:14:51.020 Also, Gal Luft
00:14:52.400 told me information
00:14:53.700 that I didn't publish
00:14:54.940 at the time
00:14:55.760 when I first started
00:14:56.800 talking to him
00:14:57.520 a month or so ago
00:14:59.220 because I thought
00:15:00.240 it's too explosive
00:15:01.780 and I can't corroborate it.
00:15:03.400 He told me that
00:15:04.420 Joe Biden
00:15:05.400 had met
00:15:06.080 with these Chinese
00:15:07.400 officials
00:15:08.420 from this
00:15:09.120 Chinese energy company
00:15:10.440 in a hotel
00:15:12.420 in Washington, D.C.
00:15:14.080 and I thought,
00:15:16.340 well, I just can't
00:15:17.660 publish that.
00:15:18.860 And then
00:15:19.280 when Gary Shapley,
00:15:21.060 the IRS whistleblower,
00:15:22.340 testified,
00:15:23.580 one of the exhibits
00:15:24.340 that he produced
00:15:25.220 was an FBI
00:15:26.160 interview transcript
00:15:27.840 with Rob Walker,
00:15:30.920 you know,
00:15:31.140 the bag man,
00:15:31.900 the guy who was
00:15:32.440 funneling the money
00:15:33.140 from the Chinese
00:15:33.960 to the Biden family
00:15:34.940 and Rob Walker
00:15:35.740 said, yes,
00:15:36.860 there had been a meeting
00:15:37.700 at the Four Seasons
00:15:38.520 in Washington, D.C.
00:15:39.900 with Joe Biden
00:15:41.040 once he was out
00:15:42.380 of office
00:15:42.740 after he finished
00:15:44.220 being vice president
00:15:45.200 around late 2016,
00:15:46.940 early 2017
00:15:47.780 with those Chinese
00:15:49.600 and Rob Walker
00:15:50.340 was at the meeting,
00:15:51.240 so was Hunter Biden
00:15:52.120 and Joe Biden
00:15:53.580 popped in
00:15:54.440 to meet those,
00:15:56.060 the Chinese
00:15:56.620 that had paid
00:15:57.300 the Bidens
00:15:57.920 millions of dollars.
00:16:00.080 So, you know,
00:16:01.220 his story is checked out
00:16:02.580 every which way,
00:16:04.120 Gao Luft,
00:16:04.660 so I don't know
00:16:06.000 whether the allegations
00:16:07.060 that he gave
00:16:08.140 to the DOJ
00:16:09.880 about the bribery,
00:16:10.880 you know,
00:16:12.400 I don't know
00:16:12.900 if he had,
00:16:13.760 you know,
00:16:14.680 some other way
00:16:15.340 of corroborating it.
00:16:16.280 He also said
00:16:16.880 there was a Hunter Biden
00:16:18.260 had a mole
00:16:18.880 in the FBI
00:16:19.760 nickname,
00:16:21.300 One Eye.
00:16:22.640 It's amazing.
00:16:23.400 You know,
00:16:24.080 it just,
00:16:25.080 it sounds so bizarre
00:16:26.120 when I say it.
00:16:26.620 Let's table that
00:16:26.980 for one second
00:16:27.540 because I do want
00:16:28.420 to talk about One Eye.
00:16:29.700 But right,
00:16:30.080 so we don't know
00:16:30.640 whether these allegations
00:16:31.480 that Gao Luft
00:16:32.080 is making are true,
00:16:33.780 but pieces of his story
00:16:35.360 have been checking out
00:16:36.620 for sure,
00:16:38.220 as you point out,
00:16:38.840 not just,
00:16:39.380 you know,
00:16:40.160 some random witness
00:16:41.100 saying,
00:16:41.480 yeah,
00:16:41.760 Gao's a truth teller,
00:16:42.960 but actual documents,
00:16:44.840 correspondence with the FBI
00:16:46.020 and the DOJ
00:16:46.900 that's been submitted
00:16:47.960 in congressional testimony
00:16:49.120 and elsewhere.
00:16:49.920 You tweeted out
00:16:50.740 that letter
00:16:51.240 that he received
00:16:52.860 from the DOJ
00:16:53.920 confirming this meeting
00:16:55.580 that they had in Brussels
00:16:56.500 on March 25,
00:16:58.500 2019.
00:16:59.120 People can look at it
00:16:59.840 right now
00:17:00.160 if they just follow
00:17:00.680 your Twitter.
00:17:01.820 What's interesting
00:17:02.320 about that letter
00:17:03.060 is the DOJ
00:17:05.200 is saying to his lawyer,
00:17:06.740 Gao's lawyer,
00:17:07.460 we will not arrest
00:17:08.640 your client
00:17:09.100 when we see him
00:17:09.700 in Brussels.
00:17:10.380 We are assuring you
00:17:11.500 we will not arrest him.
00:17:12.700 So to me,
00:17:13.060 it seemed like Gao's
00:17:14.020 troubles with our DOJ
00:17:16.460 predated that moment.
00:17:18.280 He was saying
00:17:18.880 he reached out
00:17:19.620 to our DOJ slash FBI
00:17:21.120 to say,
00:17:21.580 hey,
00:17:21.940 I've got information
00:17:22.820 for you on Hunter Biden
00:17:23.920 and Joe Biden
00:17:24.580 in 2019,
00:17:25.260 but this makes it sound
00:17:27.160 like he'd had prior
00:17:28.440 dealings with them
00:17:29.040 that suggested
00:17:30.620 he was in trouble.
00:17:32.080 You know,
00:17:32.500 A,
00:17:33.060 do you know about that?
00:17:34.000 And B,
00:17:34.440 my second thought was
00:17:35.360 even if he were
00:17:36.520 in trouble,
00:17:38.100 people who are
00:17:38.940 in trouble
00:17:39.560 in the criminal lane
00:17:40.720 often just trade
00:17:42.260 information
00:17:42.780 to,
00:17:43.960 you know,
00:17:44.800 work with the DOJ
00:17:45.580 to get a lesser sentence
00:17:46.520 to become something
00:17:47.760 more like a,
00:17:49.040 you know,
00:17:49.240 like a whistleblower
00:17:50.220 as opposed to a defendant.
00:17:52.040 It doesn't mean
00:17:52.960 what they're giving
00:17:53.480 the FBI is untrue.
00:17:55.320 That's the FBI's job
00:17:56.200 to figure out.
00:17:56.920 But was there
00:17:58.200 a threat of arrest
00:17:59.580 or him being arrested
00:18:00.700 as an arms dealer,
00:18:01.660 do you know,
00:18:02.060 prior to that March
00:18:03.000 of 19 meeting?
00:18:05.420 Yeah,
00:18:05.740 not the arms dealing,
00:18:07.340 but,
00:18:07.600 so the FBI mole
00:18:10.020 I just mentioned,
00:18:11.340 one eye,
00:18:12.280 had,
00:18:12.740 was giving classified
00:18:13.860 information,
00:18:14.700 according to Gal Luft,
00:18:16.040 via Hunter
00:18:17.380 to these Chinese
00:18:19.140 from CEFC.
00:18:20.980 And at one point,
00:18:23.120 the information
00:18:23.980 they were tipped off
00:18:25.320 to was that
00:18:26.060 the FBI
00:18:26.680 was investigating them.
00:18:29.000 And the information
00:18:30.820 they got from
00:18:31.840 that investigation
00:18:33.100 was that there were
00:18:34.560 two Chinese
00:18:35.700 under investigation
00:18:36.660 and a Jewish person
00:18:38.860 and someone else.
00:18:40.260 And so Gal Luft,
00:18:41.340 because he was in business
00:18:42.740 with the same Chinese people
00:18:44.340 that Hunter and Jim
00:18:46.840 were getting
00:18:47.260 all this money from,
00:18:48.960 Gal Luft used to run
00:18:50.240 these energy forums,
00:18:53.040 and I guess they were lucrative,
00:18:55.440 around the world
00:18:56.620 with Patrick Ho,
00:18:58.680 who was one
00:18:59.460 of the CEFC people.
00:19:02.540 And Patrick Ho
00:19:04.380 did end up
00:19:05.020 getting arrested.
00:19:06.300 The other guy,
00:19:07.220 Chairman Jiang Ming,
00:19:08.840 managed to escape
00:19:10.120 the country
00:19:10.720 after the tip-off.
00:19:12.700 He ended up
00:19:13.600 being arrested
00:19:14.040 on a different matter
00:19:14.920 in China.
00:19:15.620 But anyway,
00:19:16.780 the FBI tip-off
00:19:17.760 helped the chairman
00:19:19.000 to escape,
00:19:19.880 but Patrick Ho
00:19:20.740 came back to the country,
00:19:22.880 was immediately arrested.
00:19:23.940 Gal Luft,
00:19:25.580 I think after that,
00:19:27.320 was concerned
00:19:28.300 that he might be
00:19:30.040 the next on the chopping block.
00:19:31.540 So he thought,
00:19:32.880 well,
00:19:33.060 I will contact the FBI.
00:19:35.760 I think he did it.
00:19:36.540 He waited until
00:19:37.780 Patrick Ho
00:19:38.960 was convicted
00:19:41.380 and sentenced
00:19:42.540 to, I think,
00:19:43.160 three years in jail.
00:19:44.020 He's since been
00:19:44.620 deported
00:19:45.740 back to Hong Kong.
00:19:47.680 And after Patrick Ho
00:19:49.280 was jailed,
00:19:50.800 that was when,
00:19:52.000 I guess,
00:19:52.480 Gal Luft thought,
00:19:53.100 well,
00:19:53.340 I'll contact the DOJ,
00:19:54.640 tell them everything I know,
00:19:56.380 and so that they know
00:19:57.500 that I'm on the up and up.
00:19:59.660 Patrick Ho
00:20:00.280 was convicted
00:20:02.360 of bribing
00:20:04.220 some UN officials,
00:20:05.940 kind of separate
00:20:06.560 from the Bidens.
00:20:08.300 And during
00:20:09.440 Patrick Ho's trial,
00:20:12.240 he
00:20:12.540 was told
00:20:15.180 by prosecutors
00:20:16.220 that he was not allowed
00:20:17.160 to mention
00:20:17.840 the Biden name
00:20:19.700 or any of these
00:20:20.780 high officials
00:20:22.080 that CEFC
00:20:23.280 had been paying
00:20:24.140 in Washington,
00:20:25.100 D.C.
00:20:25.640 And the judge
00:20:26.600 agreed to that.
00:20:28.200 And what
00:20:29.140 Gal Luft says
00:20:30.460 is that the reason
00:20:31.560 he felt he had
00:20:32.420 to skip bail
00:20:33.100 is because
00:20:33.720 the same thing
00:20:35.160 would happen to him,
00:20:36.320 that if he wouldn't
00:20:38.080 get a fair trial
00:20:38.840 in the Southern District
00:20:39.720 of New York,
00:20:40.640 because he would not
00:20:42.700 be able to mention
00:20:43.640 the Biden name.
00:20:45.160 So that's his story.
00:20:46.460 I mean,
00:20:46.980 you know,
00:20:47.240 every person
00:20:47.900 like this is self-serving.
00:20:49.180 It's a pattern
00:20:49.640 because we now know
00:20:50.600 from the IRS whistleblowers,
00:20:53.020 Gary Shapley
00:20:53.720 and the other unnamed one,
00:20:55.380 that the attorney general,
00:20:56.740 that the DOJ
00:20:57.680 was saying
00:20:58.240 in their investigation,
00:21:00.080 no Joe Biden.
00:21:01.260 No,
00:21:01.780 we're not
00:21:02.160 investigating Joe Biden
00:21:03.600 and shutting them down
00:21:04.660 whenever they
00:21:05.720 went down
00:21:06.800 a Joe Biden lane
00:21:08.020 and never mind
00:21:09.820 a Joe Biden grandchild.
00:21:11.720 It was only Hunter
00:21:12.920 and they didn't seem
00:21:14.080 particularly interested
00:21:14.880 in actually getting
00:21:15.980 to the bottom
00:21:16.440 of Hunter's dealings either.
00:21:17.760 But certainly
00:21:18.240 there have been roadblocks
00:21:19.200 keeping all these investigators
00:21:20.560 away from Joe.
00:21:23.640 Yeah,
00:21:24.360 I mean,
00:21:24.860 the pattern
00:21:25.300 has been repeated
00:21:26.320 so many times.
00:21:28.000 It's,
00:21:28.320 you know,
00:21:29.020 it's almost a joke now.
00:21:31.020 Tony Bobulinski,
00:21:32.680 one of Hunter Biden's
00:21:33.700 former business partners,
00:21:35.240 came forward
00:21:35.940 to the FBI
00:21:37.220 just before the 2020 election.
00:21:39.320 After our story came out,
00:21:41.060 he handed over
00:21:42.140 all his devices
00:21:43.500 with documents
00:21:45.460 and emails
00:21:46.400 and encrypted messages,
00:21:48.300 much of which
00:21:49.540 overlapped
00:21:50.620 with what was
00:21:51.420 on the laptop.
00:21:52.620 But a lot of it
00:21:53.580 new and different,
00:21:54.820 like the WhatsApp messages.
00:21:56.860 And his material
00:21:59.020 was just buried.
00:22:01.300 He was never
00:22:01.800 contacted again.
00:22:03.460 His lawyer
00:22:04.240 actually contacted
00:22:05.520 the grand jury
00:22:06.820 in Delaware
00:22:07.380 that David Weiss
00:22:08.900 was overseeing
00:22:10.060 and offered
00:22:11.020 for him to testify
00:22:12.840 and he never heard back.
00:22:14.500 They didn't want
00:22:15.520 to hear from him.
00:22:16.640 He had met
00:22:17.240 with Joe Biden twice.
00:22:19.660 Joe Biden
00:22:20.060 was vetting him
00:22:20.940 to be the CEO
00:22:21.780 of this joint venture
00:22:23.680 with this company,
00:22:25.080 CEFC.
00:22:27.000 And
00:22:27.600 that was after
00:22:29.160 Joe Biden
00:22:29.840 stepped down
00:22:31.480 as Vice President,
00:22:32.220 I have to say.
00:22:32.760 but
00:22:33.060 the work
00:22:35.740 that the
00:22:36.300 Biden family
00:22:36.940 had been doing
00:22:37.800 for CEFC
00:22:39.140 around the world,
00:22:40.380 opening doors
00:22:41.120 and using the
00:22:41.820 Biden name
00:22:42.500 to extend
00:22:43.380 the Belt and Road
00:22:45.020 Initiative,
00:22:46.100 that had been going
00:22:47.080 on during the last
00:22:48.200 two years
00:22:48.900 of Joe Biden's
00:22:50.420 Vice Presidency.
00:22:52.240 It's just that
00:22:53.020 the money
00:22:53.480 was slated
00:22:54.640 to be paid
00:22:55.340 according to
00:22:55.860 Tony Bobulinski
00:22:56.600 after Joe Biden
00:22:58.600 was no longer
00:22:59.700 Vice President.
00:23:01.580 And what about that?
00:23:02.760 Is it
00:23:03.160 what is the
00:23:04.560 significance
00:23:05.020 if Joe Biden,
00:23:07.100 Jim Biden,
00:23:08.360 Hunter Biden
00:23:09.180 had a deal
00:23:10.400 with this
00:23:11.180 CEFC,
00:23:12.080 this Chinese
00:23:12.640 energy company,
00:23:13.800 very, very closely
00:23:14.920 linked to the
00:23:15.620 Chinese government,
00:23:17.000 that if he had
00:23:18.160 a deal
00:23:18.460 as a private
00:23:19.000 citizen
00:23:19.500 to take money
00:23:20.840 from them
00:23:21.540 in order to try
00:23:22.720 to use the
00:23:23.740 Biden name
00:23:24.400 to open doors
00:23:25.340 for them,
00:23:26.820 would that have
00:23:27.460 been relevant
00:23:27.980 if Joe Biden
00:23:28.920 had not
00:23:30.240 run for
00:23:31.460 and become
00:23:32.000 president?
00:23:32.440 after that?
00:23:35.240 I guess not.
00:23:37.440 You know,
00:23:37.820 I mean,
00:23:38.120 I guess a private
00:23:39.080 citizen,
00:23:39.800 but the real
00:23:41.000 problem with
00:23:41.840 this is that
00:23:42.960 Joe Biden
00:23:43.820 was involved
00:23:44.560 in the
00:23:45.020 influence
00:23:45.460 peddling
00:23:45.840 scheme
00:23:46.260 before that.
00:23:47.120 He was
00:23:47.500 facilitating it.
00:23:49.620 This was
00:23:49.960 something that
00:23:50.980 he'd been
00:23:51.880 used to doing
00:23:52.820 for five
00:23:53.740 decades,
00:23:54.640 you know,
00:23:55.120 since his
00:23:56.060 earliest days
00:23:56.740 as a senator
00:23:57.340 in Delaware
00:23:58.420 getting favours
00:24:00.140 from donors
00:24:01.300 in return
00:24:04.700 for favourable
00:24:05.800 legislation to
00:24:06.740 them.
00:24:07.080 The credit
00:24:07.700 card company
00:24:08.340 MBNA
00:24:08.840 comes to
00:24:09.840 mind.
00:24:10.860 And it's
00:24:12.680 just that
00:24:13.060 when he was
00:24:13.400 vice-president,
00:24:14.140 he internationalised
00:24:15.220 it and he
00:24:16.340 used his son
00:24:17.600 Hunter as
00:24:18.940 the bag
00:24:19.940 man for the
00:24:20.700 family.
00:24:21.080 and Hunter
00:24:21.980 Biden
00:24:22.340 complains
00:24:23.260 about that
00:24:23.780 bitterly
00:24:24.340 in all
00:24:26.040 sorts of
00:24:26.480 missives on
00:24:27.120 the laptop
00:24:27.700 about how
00:24:28.500 he has to
00:24:29.080 support the
00:24:30.080 extended family
00:24:31.020 and, you
00:24:32.280 know,
00:24:32.380 I have to
00:24:32.640 give half
00:24:33.060 my money
00:24:33.540 to dad
00:24:34.960 and to
00:24:35.420 pop,
00:24:36.240 he says
00:24:36.960 to one
00:24:37.440 of his
00:24:37.680 children,
00:24:38.300 you should
00:24:39.400 feel lucky
00:24:40.580 that I
00:24:41.180 don't make
00:24:41.560 you do
00:24:41.900 that.
00:24:42.800 So,
00:24:44.020 you know,
00:24:45.080 that's not
00:24:46.140 really evidence
00:24:47.040 but it does
00:24:47.880 create the
00:24:48.640 narrative and
00:24:49.940 the evidence
00:24:50.880 is that
00:24:51.500 Joe Biden
00:24:52.260 did meet
00:24:52.880 with at
00:24:53.500 least a
00:24:53.980 dozen of
00:24:54.560 Hunter
00:24:54.800 Biden's
00:24:55.340 overseas
00:24:55.640 business
00:24:56.340 partners
00:24:56.860 and Joe
00:24:58.900 Biden
00:24:59.220 told the
00:25:00.180 American
00:25:00.460 people before
00:25:01.160 the election
00:25:01.660 that he
00:25:02.380 knew nothing
00:25:02.920 about Hunter's
00:25:03.860 overseas
00:25:04.520 business
00:25:04.980 dealings.
00:25:05.660 So,
00:25:06.320 that just
00:25:07.280 doesn't square
00:25:08.120 with the
00:25:08.660 evidence that
00:25:09.400 he invited
00:25:11.060 them to
00:25:11.740 his vice
00:25:12.900 presidential
00:25:13.520 residence,
00:25:14.140 that he
00:25:15.120 flew Hunter
00:25:16.000 on Air
00:25:16.720 Force to
00:25:17.380 Beijing
00:25:18.280 where he
00:25:19.060 met with
00:25:19.980 you know,
00:25:20.880 the great
00:25:21.280 and the
00:25:21.520 powerful
00:25:21.900 and where
00:25:23.160 Joe Biden
00:25:23.780 met Hunter's
00:25:24.720 business,
00:25:25.680 Chinese business
00:25:26.460 partner who
00:25:27.220 a few days
00:25:28.520 after they
00:25:29.040 flew out of
00:25:29.640 Beijing signed
00:25:31.260 up Hunter
00:25:31.840 for 10% of
00:25:32.920 a stake in
00:25:33.640 a big equity
00:25:34.920 firm which
00:25:36.360 had I think
00:25:37.200 either $2.5 or
00:25:39.040 $1.5 billion
00:25:39.920 funds under
00:25:41.720 management in
00:25:42.920 2019.
00:25:43.460 So,
00:25:44.720 everywhere that
00:25:46.160 Joe went,
00:25:47.620 Hunter was
00:25:48.120 following along
00:25:48.980 making money.
00:25:50.480 Joe Biden
00:25:51.060 was,
00:25:51.700 you know,
00:25:52.220 the point
00:25:52.600 man for
00:25:53.100 the administration
00:25:53.860 in Ukraine,
00:25:54.580 the most
00:25:54.820 powerful man
00:25:55.480 in the world
00:25:55.940 in Ukraine,
00:25:57.140 and Hunter
00:25:57.880 Biden was
00:25:58.480 making $83,000
00:25:59.840 a month from
00:26:00.700 a corrupt
00:26:01.240 energy company
00:26:02.100 called Burisma,
00:26:04.180 and Joe Biden
00:26:05.320 met with,
00:26:06.200 had dinner
00:26:06.760 with a Burisma
00:26:07.660 executive when
00:26:09.140 he was vice
00:26:09.800 president at
00:26:10.740 Cafe Milano
00:26:11.660 in Georgetown.
00:26:13.100 That was our
00:26:13.700 very first
00:26:14.180 story that
00:26:15.640 we published
00:26:16.200 from the
00:26:16.620 laptop before
00:26:17.640 the 2020
00:26:18.460 election that
00:26:19.780 got censored.
00:26:20.840 Now,
00:26:20.940 we didn't have
00:26:21.440 the details
00:26:22.040 of Cafe Milano,
00:26:23.220 but we had
00:26:23.640 an email from
00:26:24.580 that Burisma
00:26:25.600 executive from
00:26:26.620 Ukraine thanking
00:26:27.520 Hunter for
00:26:28.620 introducing him
00:26:29.540 to his father
00:26:30.520 the previous
00:26:31.240 night.
00:26:32.760 And,
00:26:32.960 you know,
00:26:33.820 it was only,
00:26:35.020 there was
00:26:35.880 denials from
00:26:36.920 the Biden
00:26:37.460 campaign,
00:26:38.220 but six months
00:26:38.960 or eight months
00:26:39.460 later when we
00:26:40.660 uncovered the
00:26:41.460 fact of
00:26:42.000 the Café
00:26:44.060 Milano,
00:26:44.740 that it was
00:26:45.040 a dinner that
00:26:45.760 Joe Biden
00:26:46.240 attended,
00:26:47.000 that Hunter's
00:26:48.000 business partners
00:26:49.040 not just from
00:26:49.720 Ukraine but
00:26:50.660 from Kazakhstan
00:26:51.580 and Russia
00:26:52.400 were also
00:26:53.100 there,
00:26:54.080 that the
00:26:54.980 White House
00:26:55.540 admitted not
00:26:56.540 to us because
00:26:57.220 they won't,
00:26:57.960 but admitted to
00:26:58.800 the Washington
00:26:59.240 Post fact
00:26:59.900 checker who
00:27:00.860 was trying to
00:27:01.540 prove my
00:27:02.560 story wrong.
00:27:04.500 The White
00:27:05.440 House admitted,
00:27:06.120 yes, Joe
00:27:06.600 Biden did go
00:27:07.340 to that dinner,
00:27:08.180 but he didn't
00:27:09.040 go for any
00:27:09.560 nefarious
00:27:09.980 purpose and
00:27:10.720 he was only
00:27:11.680 there a short
00:27:12.240 time.
00:27:12.920 But, you know,
00:27:13.400 it's like being
00:27:13.920 a little bit
00:27:14.340 pregnant,
00:27:14.780 isn't it?
00:27:16.040 Miranda,
00:27:16.640 it's just now
00:27:17.340 dawning on me,
00:27:18.240 forgive me,
00:27:19.180 it's just now
00:27:19.780 dawning on me
00:27:20.380 what you just
00:27:20.840 said,
00:27:21.600 that all along
00:27:23.240 I thought it
00:27:23.740 was corrupt
00:27:24.420 hot mess
00:27:25.600 Hunter
00:27:26.160 exploiting
00:27:27.380 the dad's
00:27:28.320 name and
00:27:29.420 kind of,
00:27:30.040 you know,
00:27:30.500 bringing Joe
00:27:31.020 in on a deal
00:27:31.660 here or there
00:27:32.280 to pay some
00:27:32.840 bills,
00:27:33.320 but that this
00:27:34.140 was a Hunter
00:27:34.640 operation.
00:27:35.620 It's just now
00:27:36.360 dawning on me
00:27:37.000 that, no,
00:27:38.480 this was a
00:27:39.140 Joe Biden
00:27:39.640 operation using
00:27:41.200 Hunter.
00:27:41.740 It's the other
00:27:42.260 way around.
00:27:44.880 Yes, and so
00:27:46.380 I think I do
00:27:47.500 feel a lot of
00:27:48.340 sympathy for
00:27:48.940 Hunter.
00:27:49.340 I mean,
00:27:49.660 you know,
00:27:50.560 his life is a
00:27:51.240 mess.
00:27:52.060 He was a
00:27:52.380 crack addict.
00:27:52.960 I hope, you
00:27:54.080 know, his
00:27:54.360 recovery is
00:27:55.000 going well.
00:27:56.380 But I do
00:27:57.400 feel sorry for
00:27:57.980 him.
00:27:58.180 He had great
00:27:58.640 tragedies in his
00:27:59.600 early life.
00:28:00.280 He lost his
00:28:00.840 mother when he
00:28:01.380 was two years
00:28:02.000 old.
00:28:02.300 He was badly
00:28:02.920 injured with his
00:28:03.660 older brother,
00:28:04.640 beau in
00:28:05.420 that car
00:28:06.340 accident.
00:28:08.720 And, you
00:28:10.580 know, Joe
00:28:12.660 Biden has
00:28:13.240 had this
00:28:13.900 image that
00:28:14.780 he's carefully
00:28:15.380 cultivated for
00:28:16.520 many decades
00:28:17.280 of being such
00:28:18.200 a good father
00:28:19.060 and family
00:28:19.680 man and a
00:28:21.360 man full of
00:28:21.940 empathy because
00:28:22.560 of the
00:28:22.820 grief, genuine
00:28:23.600 grief he
00:28:24.060 himself has
00:28:25.040 suffered, losing
00:28:25.700 his wife and
00:28:26.640 his baby
00:28:28.080 daughter in
00:28:28.740 that car
00:28:29.240 accident.
00:28:30.140 But I also
00:28:31.020 look at the
00:28:31.600 photos from
00:28:32.740 his swearing
00:28:33.400 in.
00:28:33.740 he didn't
00:28:35.680 have to go
00:28:36.400 into the
00:28:37.020 hospital room
00:28:37.840 where his
00:28:38.260 little bandaged
00:28:38.880 boys were
00:28:39.460 lying and
00:28:40.120 have them in
00:28:40.980 the foreground
00:28:41.500 of these
00:28:42.060 photos as he
00:28:42.800 was being
00:28:43.400 sworn in.
00:28:44.200 He could
00:28:44.540 have done
00:28:44.820 it out in
00:28:45.260 the corridor.
00:28:46.620 But no,
00:28:47.840 that, you
00:28:48.580 know, no
00:28:49.240 American could
00:28:49.980 fail to be
00:28:50.780 moved and
00:28:51.640 feel, you
00:28:53.220 know, weepy
00:28:54.420 when you see
00:28:55.100 that photo of
00:28:55.820 those little
00:28:56.180 motherless boys
00:28:57.080 lying in the
00:28:58.380 hospital bed with
00:28:59.300 their father
00:28:59.760 behind them
00:29:00.400 with his
00:29:00.820 hand up
00:29:01.340 swearing an
00:29:02.300 oath.
00:29:03.440 But it's a
00:29:04.280 very cynical
00:29:05.000 photograph and
00:29:06.160 Joe Biden
00:29:06.740 used it in
00:29:07.940 every campaign
00:29:08.860 since and
00:29:09.580 he's traded
00:29:10.280 off that
00:29:11.220 tragedy in
00:29:12.560 his career
00:29:13.400 to, you
00:29:14.180 know, rather
00:29:14.680 a lacklustre
00:29:16.040 intellect to
00:29:17.940 rise to
00:29:18.640 great heights
00:29:19.380 and the
00:29:20.680 sympathy that
00:29:21.520 that tragedy
00:29:22.520 elicited and
00:29:23.200 of course then
00:29:23.820 compounded by
00:29:24.780 the fact that,
00:29:25.540 you know, the
00:29:26.500 favoured son,
00:29:27.340 Beau Biden
00:29:28.240 died tragically
00:29:29.940 of a brain
00:29:30.480 tumour sometime
00:29:31.160 later and he
00:29:31.960 was really
00:29:32.500 Joe Biden's,
00:29:33.940 you know,
00:29:35.740 golden child.
00:29:36.920 The, he was
00:29:37.960 supposed to be
00:29:38.500 president.
00:29:39.340 That was the
00:29:40.260 dynasty that
00:29:41.120 Joe Biden, I
00:29:41.920 think, cares
00:29:42.920 about more than
00:29:43.700 anything else is
00:29:44.580 creating a
00:29:45.240 Kennedy-like
00:29:45.860 dynasty.
00:29:46.720 He even has
00:29:47.580 a sort of
00:29:47.960 Kennedy-like
00:29:48.600 compound in
00:29:49.880 Delaware where
00:29:51.360 he sort of
00:29:52.240 plots his
00:29:52.920 presidential runs.
00:29:54.820 So there has
00:29:56.560 been tragedy
00:29:57.220 in the
00:29:57.540 family but
00:29:58.140 I don't
00:29:59.040 see a lot
00:29:59.480 of empathy
00:29:59.900 really in
00:30:00.560 Joe Biden
00:30:01.100 because he's
00:30:03.660 exploited his
00:30:04.640 son.
00:30:05.540 I mean, that
00:30:06.080 seems a very
00:30:06.740 harsh thing to
00:30:07.520 say but it's
00:30:08.240 what I've
00:30:09.160 observed and,
00:30:11.180 you know, for
00:30:11.500 instance, Hunter
00:30:12.940 Biden did have
00:30:13.660 an addiction
00:30:14.060 problem that,
00:30:16.420 you know, you
00:30:17.200 could expect
00:30:17.820 maybe from
00:30:18.320 someone who
00:30:18.780 suffered early
00:30:19.380 childhood trauma
00:30:20.200 and so what
00:30:21.860 kind of a
00:30:22.440 father puts
00:30:23.680 his addicted
00:30:24.820 son in front
00:30:25.760 of gushing
00:30:26.500 torrents of
00:30:27.200 unaccountable
00:30:28.040 cash, which
00:30:29.180 is exactly
00:30:29.660 what was
00:30:30.020 happening from
00:30:30.640 Ukraine, from
00:30:31.460 China, etc.
00:30:32.680 You would keep
00:30:33.560 your addicted
00:30:34.280 son away from
00:30:35.220 that if you
00:30:35.760 really cared
00:30:36.420 about them.
00:30:37.720 Oh my gosh,
00:30:38.540 these are amazing
00:30:39.200 points.
00:30:39.940 This is giving me
00:30:40.860 just a whole new
00:30:41.580 lens through which
00:30:42.300 to see this
00:30:42.820 entire story and
00:30:44.380 this is exactly
00:30:45.100 contrary to the
00:30:45.800 way the media
00:30:46.240 portrays him and
00:30:47.280 he portrays
00:30:47.960 himself as you're
00:30:48.520 pointing out.
00:30:49.180 I'm thinking now
00:30:49.880 even about
00:30:50.360 Bo Biden and
00:30:51.800 how when Joe
00:30:52.920 Biden was
00:30:53.360 thinking about
00:30:53.900 running for
00:30:54.420 president, he
00:30:55.880 said Bo
00:30:57.240 Biden, you
00:30:58.200 know, wanted
00:30:58.680 him to do
00:30:59.300 it, you know,
00:30:59.900 like a deathbed
00:31:00.760 wish.
00:31:01.980 And now that
00:31:03.760 he is president
00:31:04.500 and he refers
00:31:05.240 to his son
00:31:06.760 who has passed,
00:31:07.980 he says that
00:31:08.700 Bo died in
00:31:09.660 Iraq trying to
00:31:10.980 ratchet up the
00:31:11.840 sympathy I guess
00:31:12.580 we're supposed to
00:31:13.220 feel.
00:31:13.620 But of course,
00:31:14.560 Bo Biden did
00:31:15.320 not die in
00:31:16.420 Iraq.
00:31:17.020 He died from a
00:31:17.840 brain tumor that
00:31:18.540 may have been
00:31:18.900 linked to some
00:31:19.480 of the things
00:31:20.020 that he was
00:31:20.500 exposed to in
00:31:21.180 Iraq.
00:31:21.900 We don't know,
00:31:22.700 but it's just
00:31:24.400 these little
00:31:24.920 manipulations that
00:31:26.020 tug at your
00:31:26.520 heartstrings that
00:31:27.900 are actually
00:31:28.320 incredibly cynical
00:31:29.240 and not not a
00:31:30.800 lovely example of
00:31:32.000 a loving father.
00:31:33.380 And, you know,
00:31:34.040 we could talk
00:31:34.480 about the
00:31:35.000 the unacknowledged
00:31:36.080 granddaughter now
00:31:37.120 and, you know,
00:31:37.740 while still the
00:31:38.960 team around him
00:31:40.000 meets and
00:31:41.240 strategizes over
00:31:42.480 how to keep
00:31:43.900 that out of the
00:31:44.600 news and to
00:31:45.680 dodge reporters
00:31:46.580 questions.
00:31:47.060 I mean, you
00:31:47.860 know, you can
00:31:48.140 just see the
00:31:48.760 whole thing
00:31:49.340 coming together.
00:31:51.460 It's it's dark.
00:31:53.520 Miranda, can you
00:31:54.280 stick stick around?
00:31:55.500 There's a lot.
00:31:56.280 We didn't get to
00:31:56.740 the one eye.
00:31:57.780 I want to talk
00:31:58.600 about Abby Lowell's
00:31:59.400 letter defending
00:32:00.080 that.
00:32:00.380 That's Hunter's
00:32:00.820 lawyer.
00:32:01.140 He's now attacking
00:32:01.820 the whistleblower
00:32:02.480 and and the
00:32:03.600 whistleblower's
00:32:04.180 lawyers fighting
00:32:04.800 back.
00:32:05.740 And now Hunter's
00:32:06.960 team is raising
00:32:08.080 new doubts again
00:32:09.900 about the laptop
00:32:11.660 as not legit.
00:32:12.840 That's your story.
00:32:13.560 So stand by.
00:32:14.820 We're going to
00:32:15.080 come back with
00:32:15.520 Miranda.
00:32:16.000 What a day.
00:32:16.520 Isn't this
00:32:17.040 unbelievable?
00:32:17.820 This is riveting.
00:32:18.540 She's riveting.
00:32:19.120 She's got so much
00:32:19.800 information and
00:32:20.740 like unlike a lot
00:32:21.900 of us, she
00:32:22.260 remembers it.
00:32:23.320 She delivers it
00:32:24.060 linearly.
00:32:24.780 I love Miranda
00:32:25.480 Devine.
00:32:26.420 OK, we'll be right
00:32:27.140 back with her.
00:32:28.440 Now streaming on
00:32:29.240 Paramount Plus.
00:32:31.160 Someone is trying
00:32:31.840 to frame us.
00:32:33.320 Until our names
00:32:34.140 are cleared.
00:32:35.720 We're fugitives
00:32:36.480 from interval.
00:32:37.560 Like Bonnie and
00:32:38.260 Clyde with better
00:32:39.120 snacks.
00:32:40.940 Espionage.
00:32:41.580 You still as good
00:32:42.260 a shot as you
00:32:42.900 used to be.
00:32:44.600 Better.
00:32:45.120 Is there love
00:32:46.200 language?
00:32:46.900 We like to walk
00:32:47.480 that fine line
00:32:48.200 between techno
00:32:48.920 thriller and
00:32:50.780 romantic comedy.
00:32:52.160 We make up
00:32:52.720 our own rules.
00:32:53.980 NCIS Tony and
00:32:55.060 Ziva now streaming
00:32:56.340 on Paramount Plus.
00:33:01.340 Miranda, let's talk
00:33:02.300 just a little bit
00:33:03.080 more about Gal
00:33:05.540 Luft because one
00:33:07.180 of the things that
00:33:08.260 he revealed and you
00:33:09.360 revealed in your
00:33:10.720 reporting was an
00:33:12.240 allegation that when
00:33:13.100 he met with the
00:33:14.080 FBI and the
00:33:15.000 DOJ in March of
00:33:16.120 19 in Brussels, he
00:33:18.160 revealed to them
00:33:19.140 some of what you
00:33:20.080 and I just
00:33:20.520 discussed,
00:33:21.140 specifically that
00:33:22.920 the Bidens had a
00:33:25.140 mole inside the
00:33:26.980 FBI who was
00:33:28.420 funneling them
00:33:29.260 information that
00:33:31.160 might be relevant to
00:33:32.040 their friends in
00:33:32.720 China at the
00:33:33.580 CEFC, that Hunter
00:33:35.580 Biden passed that
00:33:36.400 information along to
00:33:37.740 these friends at the
00:33:38.400 CEFC.
00:33:39.020 And as you pointed
00:33:39.480 out, it led one
00:33:40.660 to flee the
00:33:42.060 country and
00:33:43.240 another one tried,
00:33:44.160 but he got caught
00:33:44.760 and he was tried
00:33:45.320 and found guilty
00:33:45.920 over here in
00:33:46.440 America.
00:33:47.720 That alleged
00:33:48.780 mole, according
00:33:49.780 to Luft, was
00:33:51.040 named One Eye
00:33:52.400 and that's the
00:33:54.000 person who is
00:33:54.540 tipping off these
00:33:56.400 Chinese associates.
00:33:58.180 Now, that has
00:33:59.300 led to a lot of
00:33:59.960 speculation that
00:34:00.900 it's Louis Free,
00:34:02.300 who used to be
00:34:03.160 the FBI director
00:34:04.300 and thanks to an
00:34:06.340 accident he had,
00:34:07.700 only has one eye.
00:34:09.480 However, he left
00:34:11.080 the FBI as
00:34:11.800 director in 2001.
00:34:14.260 He was there under
00:34:14.860 Bill Clinton.
00:34:15.900 So he's no longer
00:34:16.700 in the FBI,
00:34:17.820 though obviously
00:34:18.300 has connections.
00:34:19.760 So what do we
00:34:20.740 know about this
00:34:21.740 one eye?
00:34:22.660 And we also know
00:34:23.180 Louis Free is close
00:34:23.940 with the Bidens,
00:34:24.720 which is another
00:34:25.160 reason why people
00:34:25.780 started thinking
00:34:26.200 about him.
00:34:26.540 But, you know,
00:34:27.540 what do we know
00:34:28.180 about his
00:34:28.620 connection, if any,
00:34:29.400 to all of this?
00:34:32.040 Look, yes.
00:34:33.420 And I think
00:34:34.900 Gal Luft
00:34:35.600 certainly thinks
00:34:37.300 it's him,
00:34:38.400 but that doesn't
00:34:39.860 mean that it is.
00:34:41.320 And, you know,
00:34:41.840 I want to be careful
00:34:42.720 and not introduce
00:34:44.520 anybody by name.
00:34:48.700 I think
00:34:49.900 Gal Luft
00:34:51.960 has been told
00:34:53.080 something by
00:34:54.940 his Chinese
00:34:56.280 business partners
00:34:57.520 who also are
00:34:58.820 giving money
00:35:00.440 to the Bidens
00:35:01.300 and are close
00:35:01.960 to Hunter Biden.
00:35:02.660 it is possible
00:35:05.220 that Hunter
00:35:06.060 Biden,
00:35:06.900 Hunter Biden
00:35:07.560 certainly must
00:35:08.580 have had a
00:35:09.080 mole in the
00:35:09.820 FBI somehow
00:35:10.780 because that
00:35:12.520 information
00:35:13.160 was true
00:35:14.840 that the FBI
00:35:15.780 was investigating
00:35:16.800 Patrick Ho
00:35:17.600 and the rest
00:35:18.920 of the CEFC
00:35:19.640 crowd.
00:35:21.680 And they were
00:35:22.580 shortly,
00:35:23.540 you know,
00:35:24.820 arrested.
00:35:25.360 Patrick Ho
00:35:25.720 was arrested.
00:35:26.380 So it seems
00:35:27.340 that that tip
00:35:28.140 off was accurate.
00:35:29.100 But whether
00:35:30.300 or not
00:35:30.820 it was
00:35:31.780 actually,
00:35:33.180 you know,
00:35:34.580 Louis Free
00:35:35.320 or someone
00:35:35.720 with one eye,
00:35:37.220 we don't know
00:35:38.000 because Hunter
00:35:38.540 Biden does
00:35:39.260 tell a lot
00:35:40.740 of different
00:35:41.420 stories to
00:35:42.100 different people.
00:35:43.380 And it
00:35:45.000 could have
00:35:45.360 been that
00:35:46.340 and also
00:35:47.960 we know
00:35:49.340 that there
00:35:50.700 were other
00:35:51.140 FBI,
00:35:51.780 there are other
00:35:52.240 FBI names
00:35:53.060 that are on
00:35:53.420 the laptop.
00:35:53.880 There were
00:35:54.740 other FBI
00:35:55.800 including a
00:35:57.640 corrupt
00:35:58.040 someone who
00:35:59.260 Charles McGonigal
00:36:00.400 who's been
00:36:01.380 charged with
00:36:02.020 corruption,
00:36:02.700 who was the
00:36:03.120 head of the
00:36:03.680 New York
00:36:04.320 counter-intel
00:36:06.500 office of the
00:36:07.420 FBI at one
00:36:08.240 point.
00:36:09.360 So we know
00:36:10.840 that Hunter
00:36:11.200 had some
00:36:11.620 dealings with
00:36:12.180 him as well.
00:36:12.860 So there are
00:36:13.680 a number of
00:36:14.220 different suspects
00:36:15.040 and it
00:36:16.600 would be
00:36:17.400 probably
00:36:18.100 smart of
00:36:19.540 Hunter to
00:36:20.280 throw the
00:36:20.920 trail off
00:36:21.560 to tell the
00:36:22.420 Chinese that
00:36:23.200 yes,
00:36:23.540 Louis Free
00:36:24.000 is my
00:36:24.720 mole
00:36:25.440 because
00:36:26.200 Louis Free
00:36:26.920 quite legitimately
00:36:27.940 in his
00:36:28.440 business
00:36:28.980 did come
00:36:31.040 in on a
00:36:31.700 Romanian deal
00:36:33.080 that they
00:36:33.440 were doing.
00:36:33.980 He was
00:36:34.200 brought in
00:36:34.600 to try
00:36:34.880 and help
00:36:35.260 with his
00:36:37.080 lobbying firm
00:36:37.820 try and
00:36:38.440 help get
00:36:39.780 an oligarch
00:36:41.760 who was
00:36:42.140 paying Hunter
00:36:42.940 millions of
00:36:43.640 dollars,
00:36:44.640 get him
00:36:44.940 off some
00:36:45.420 corruption
00:36:47.120 charge in
00:36:47.840 Romania.
00:36:49.360 So it
00:36:50.560 would sort
00:36:51.000 of make
00:36:51.300 sense that
00:36:51.740 the Chinese
00:36:52.280 might have
00:36:52.680 thought,
00:36:53.080 oh,
00:36:53.280 well,
00:36:53.520 that must
00:36:54.160 be
00:36:54.580 the
00:36:55.120 mole
00:36:55.480 because
00:36:55.920 he
00:36:56.180 was
00:36:56.400 an
00:36:56.560 FBI
00:36:56.920 director
00:36:57.540 and
00:36:57.960 they
00:37:00.080 nicknamed
00:37:00.580 him
00:37:00.840 one
00:37:01.140 eye
00:37:01.320 because
00:37:01.600 he
00:37:01.960 has
00:37:02.120 one
00:37:02.340 eye.
00:37:03.660 So it
00:37:04.980 doesn't
00:37:05.280 necessarily
00:37:05.700 follow from
00:37:06.480 that one
00:37:07.920 eye really
00:37:08.520 was the
00:37:09.740 FBI
00:37:10.140 mole.
00:37:11.340 And so I
00:37:12.540 think we
00:37:12.780 just need to
00:37:13.220 be careful
00:37:13.720 about that.
00:37:14.880 And obviously
00:37:15.580 speculation.
00:37:16.660 Yeah.
00:37:17.060 And by the
00:37:17.500 way,
00:37:17.760 it's possible
00:37:19.780 Louis Free
00:37:20.420 has two
00:37:21.360 eyes.
00:37:22.040 It's just
00:37:22.360 that he
00:37:22.600 has suffered
00:37:22.940 an injury
00:37:23.420 that makes
00:37:23.880 it look
00:37:24.640 like he
00:37:25.440 only has
00:37:25.800 one.
00:37:26.280 So in
00:37:27.600 any way,
00:37:27.960 so we
00:37:28.260 don't know
00:37:28.560 that's
00:37:28.840 that's
00:37:29.260 important.
00:37:29.620 And we've
00:37:29.860 been careful
00:37:30.140 not to
00:37:30.460 impugn
00:37:30.800 Louis Free
00:37:31.220 either.
00:37:31.580 But that's
00:37:32.880 the speculation
00:37:33.400 that's gone
00:37:33.980 rampant online
00:37:34.820 in the wake
00:37:35.320 of this
00:37:36.100 guy coming
00:37:36.540 forward,
00:37:36.920 Gal Loft,
00:37:37.400 and offering
00:37:38.340 his testimonial.
00:37:39.120 So good
00:37:39.980 to know.
00:37:41.760 Let's shift
00:37:42.480 gears a little
00:37:43.080 bit into the
00:37:43.780 IRS investigation
00:37:44.960 into Hunter
00:37:45.720 because when
00:37:47.520 it landed
00:37:48.060 with a
00:37:48.540 whimper,
00:37:49.340 we had
00:37:49.620 these two
00:37:50.080 IRS
00:37:50.600 whistleblowers
00:37:51.440 come forward
00:37:51.940 to say
00:37:52.200 this whole
00:37:52.620 thing is
00:37:53.600 BS.
00:37:54.240 The fix is
00:37:54.780 in.
00:37:55.480 We were
00:37:55.660 stopped by
00:37:56.080 the DOJ
00:37:56.520 from doing
00:37:56.940 a real
00:37:57.260 investigation.
00:37:58.660 This guy,
00:37:59.120 David Weiss,
00:37:59.700 who's the
00:37:59.920 U.S.
00:38:00.200 Attorney for
00:38:00.620 Delaware,
00:38:01.460 was stopped
00:38:02.000 from bringing
00:38:02.540 more severe
00:38:03.380 charges in
00:38:04.200 California
00:38:04.720 and in
00:38:06.060 D.C.
00:38:06.960 And he
00:38:07.420 told us
00:38:07.940 at the
00:38:08.160 time that
00:38:08.580 he was
00:38:08.780 being
00:38:09.040 stopped
00:38:09.520 and that
00:38:09.900 the DOJ
00:38:11.800 wasn't being
00:38:12.200 that cooperative
00:38:12.760 even though
00:38:13.360 now David
00:38:14.300 Weiss and
00:38:15.000 Merrick Garland
00:38:15.580 are on the
00:38:16.040 same page
00:38:16.560 saying,
00:38:16.940 oh no,
00:38:17.780 I have
00:38:18.100 ultimate
00:38:18.420 authority.
00:38:18.880 And if I
00:38:20.240 need more,
00:38:20.980 I can
00:38:21.200 always go
00:38:21.560 to Merrick
00:38:22.020 Garland.
00:38:22.620 It's a lot
00:38:23.160 of lawyer
00:38:24.320 legalese
00:38:25.040 language if
00:38:25.740 you read
00:38:26.020 what they're
00:38:26.260 saying.
00:38:26.960 It seems
00:38:27.460 to leave
00:38:27.780 open a lot
00:38:28.260 of questions
00:38:28.800 which they're
00:38:29.680 refusing to
00:38:30.140 answer.
00:38:30.500 As you
00:38:30.680 point out,
00:38:31.480 David Weiss
00:38:31.820 just blew
00:38:32.340 off the
00:38:32.780 House
00:38:32.960 Oversight
00:38:33.300 Committee
00:38:33.560 on a
00:38:33.860 deadline
00:38:34.120 last night
00:38:34.700 to provide
00:38:35.520 documents
00:38:36.060 and other
00:38:36.580 materials
00:38:36.940 that might
00:38:37.280 answer
00:38:37.600 some of
00:38:37.840 the
00:38:37.920 questions
00:38:38.240 left by
00:38:38.680 this
00:38:38.940 weird
00:38:39.440 exchange
00:38:40.000 between
00:38:40.680 Merrick
00:38:40.980 Garland
00:38:41.340 and David
00:38:41.920 Weiss.
00:38:42.660 So there's
00:38:42.900 just blowing
00:38:43.340 off House
00:38:43.780 Oversight
00:38:44.140 now,
00:38:44.400 again saying
00:38:45.200 the investigation
00:38:46.320 is still
00:38:46.740 open and
00:38:47.660 we have a
00:38:47.980 criminal case
00:38:48.460 pending against
00:38:49.140 Hunter.
00:38:49.660 You know,
00:38:49.800 the plea
00:38:50.060 deal is not
00:38:50.460 final.
00:38:51.120 So it's
00:38:51.980 very convenient
00:38:52.720 for those
00:38:53.280 that we want
00:38:53.920 answers from.
00:38:55.140 But I want
00:38:55.720 to get to
00:38:56.240 what's happening
00:38:56.880 with Hunter's
00:38:57.660 lawyer.
00:38:58.340 He hired
00:38:58.700 Abby Lowell,
00:38:59.480 who's a big
00:38:59.940 swinging,
00:39:00.700 you know,
00:39:01.260 DC type
00:39:01.880 lawyer.
00:39:02.400 And Abby
00:39:03.140 Lowell is going
00:39:03.740 after these
00:39:04.700 whistleblowers,
00:39:06.060 Shapley in
00:39:06.940 particular,
00:39:07.340 but hard
00:39:08.660 saying these
00:39:10.400 are partisan
00:39:10.820 hacks,
00:39:11.320 basically.
00:39:12.760 The reporting
00:39:13.720 I've read
00:39:14.060 suggests they're
00:39:14.540 Democrats,
00:39:15.180 but he's
00:39:16.920 saying that
00:39:17.480 they've been
00:39:18.120 out to
00:39:19.200 thwart this
00:39:19.880 investigation and
00:39:20.740 unfairly target
00:39:21.800 Hunter from the
00:39:22.460 beginning,
00:39:23.380 suggesting that
00:39:23.980 they actually
00:39:24.400 leaked confidential
00:39:25.440 taxpayer information
00:39:26.560 about Hunter to
00:39:27.380 the Washington
00:39:27.840 Post months
00:39:29.200 ago,
00:39:29.640 which would
00:39:30.040 have been a
00:39:30.300 violation of
00:39:30.800 federal law
00:39:31.440 and some
00:39:32.980 other mud
00:39:33.560 that Abby
00:39:34.340 Lowell is trying
00:39:34.760 to swing on
00:39:35.300 Hunter's behalf.
00:39:36.260 The whistleblower
00:39:36.820 comes out.
00:39:37.380 I reported this
00:39:37.880 yesterday and I
00:39:39.380 mean,
00:39:39.520 we brought it to
00:39:40.120 our audience
00:39:40.460 yesterday.
00:39:41.000 Others reported
00:39:41.580 it saying I
00:39:43.680 will.
00:39:44.340 Here's my sworn
00:39:45.320 testimony saying
00:39:46.260 none of that is
00:39:46.760 true.
00:39:47.160 I have never met
00:39:47.860 these reporters or
00:39:48.640 anybody at the
00:39:49.200 Washington Post.
00:39:50.000 I've never leaked.
00:39:51.460 I'll do.
00:39:52.800 I'll say to
00:39:53.440 anybody,
00:39:53.720 I release any
00:39:54.680 reporter I've ever
00:39:55.480 spoken to at the
00:39:56.760 Washington Post or
00:39:57.460 elsewhere from any
00:39:58.980 obligation to hold
00:40:00.140 me confidential as
00:40:01.120 their source.
00:40:02.160 Come on out.
00:40:02.700 Admit it's me if it
00:40:03.420 was me and
00:40:04.620 nothing.
00:40:05.740 Nothing has been
00:40:06.500 said by the
00:40:07.020 Washington Post.
00:40:08.460 And so they're
00:40:09.500 going on offense
00:40:10.740 now and
00:40:12.000 hunters.
00:40:12.860 I'm sorry.
00:40:15.060 And now the
00:40:16.160 whistleblower's
00:40:16.960 lawyer has come
00:40:18.000 out complaining
00:40:18.920 today that these
00:40:20.320 Washington Post
00:40:21.200 reporters are
00:40:22.580 remaining awfully
00:40:23.520 silent, leading
00:40:24.840 him to believe
00:40:25.620 that they know
00:40:26.900 it's not the
00:40:27.460 whistleblower who
00:40:28.180 leaked to them.
00:40:29.060 It may have
00:40:30.120 been somebody
00:40:32.000 like the
00:40:33.940 prosecutors
00:40:34.520 themselves.
00:40:35.000 It may have
00:40:36.000 been hunters
00:40:36.940 lawyers who
00:40:38.360 leaked some of
00:40:39.020 this information
00:40:39.600 so that they
00:40:40.160 could dirty up
00:40:41.060 the IRS
00:40:42.220 agents investigating
00:40:43.360 him.
00:40:43.700 It gets very
00:40:44.320 convoluted.
00:40:45.460 But what's
00:40:45.960 happening here?
00:40:48.840 Yes.
00:40:49.200 And look,
00:40:49.620 I'm really glad
00:40:50.560 that Gary
00:40:51.040 Shackley's lawyers
00:40:51.980 have done the
00:40:53.460 forensic on that
00:40:54.740 Washington Post
00:40:55.620 article and
00:40:57.000 highlighted the
00:40:58.660 lines in there
00:40:59.780 that, you
00:41:01.120 know, journalists
00:41:02.000 know the code.
00:41:03.360 It's, you
00:41:03.660 know, it's not
00:41:04.580 law enforcement
00:41:05.380 sources or, you
00:41:08.600 know, sources
00:41:09.180 inside the
00:41:09.860 investigation.
00:41:10.580 It's sources
00:41:10.980 familiar with,
00:41:12.180 which is always
00:41:13.140 code for one
00:41:15.640 step removed.
00:41:17.080 And, you
00:41:17.440 know, when I
00:41:17.840 first read that
00:41:18.900 Washington Post
00:41:19.500 story with the
00:41:20.580 quite heavy
00:41:22.180 duty leaks from
00:41:23.260 that investigation,
00:41:24.400 which up until
00:41:24.980 then had been
00:41:26.380 rock solid and
00:41:27.580 tight.
00:41:28.660 No leaks.
00:41:30.560 My first
00:41:31.400 instinct was,
00:41:32.720 oh, that's
00:41:33.080 come from
00:41:33.880 Hunter Biden's
00:41:34.740 lawyers.
00:41:35.820 They're trying
00:41:36.640 to do a
00:41:37.780 kind of a
00:41:38.120 limited hangout
00:41:39.280 and put
00:41:40.840 pressure on
00:41:41.620 the investigators.
00:41:43.720 And that's
00:41:45.260 exactly what
00:41:45.880 did happen
00:41:46.560 internally.
00:41:48.560 And so
00:41:50.340 the ruse
00:41:50.860 worked, if
00:41:51.940 that was the
00:41:52.440 case.
00:41:53.400 Can I say
00:41:53.720 this?
00:41:54.980 If that's
00:41:55.640 what actually
00:41:56.060 happened, then
00:41:56.700 the Washington
00:41:57.160 Post, in my
00:41:57.940 view, did
00:41:58.280 something very
00:41:58.840 unethical, because
00:42:00.020 if a source came
00:42:01.360 to me with
00:42:01.800 information, let's
00:42:02.640 say it was a
00:42:03.040 defense attorney
00:42:03.560 for Hunter
00:42:04.000 Biden, saying,
00:42:05.120 let me give you
00:42:05.500 all this
00:42:05.740 information about
00:42:06.280 what's happening
00:42:06.740 in the tax
00:42:07.220 investigation into
00:42:08.360 him.
00:42:08.760 And I said,
00:42:09.400 great.
00:42:09.740 And I reported
00:42:10.740 it.
00:42:11.400 And then the
00:42:12.300 source wanted
00:42:13.360 his, as the
00:42:14.940 actual Hunter
00:42:15.700 Biden lawyer,
00:42:16.920 quote to me,
00:42:17.860 Megyn Kelly, on
00:42:18.580 the record to be,
00:42:19.860 I decry these
00:42:20.700 leaks.
00:42:21.720 This is outrageous
00:42:22.540 what's being done
00:42:23.240 to my client.
00:42:24.220 I would not
00:42:24.740 allow that.
00:42:25.300 I would not
00:42:26.060 knowingly dupe
00:42:27.800 my audience in
00:42:28.540 that way.
00:42:29.480 And I think
00:42:29.920 any other solid
00:42:30.800 reporter would
00:42:31.420 refuse to do
00:42:32.320 that.
00:42:32.980 You'd have to
00:42:33.400 say, you're
00:42:33.960 going to have
00:42:34.220 to think of
00:42:34.580 another quote
00:42:35.120 if you want
00:42:35.620 to get into
00:42:35.980 this piece
00:42:36.420 on the record.
00:42:37.300 That's not
00:42:37.880 going to fly.
00:42:38.400 So if the
00:42:38.760 Washington Post
00:42:39.300 did that,
00:42:40.360 they did
00:42:40.720 something
00:42:40.980 unethical.
00:42:42.760 Yes.
00:42:43.340 And when you
00:42:43.720 look at the
00:42:44.380 Washington Post's
00:42:45.640 coverage of the
00:42:46.880 Abbey Lowell
00:42:47.420 letter, it's a
00:42:49.300 different reporter
00:42:50.160 from the one
00:42:50.920 who published
00:42:52.060 the leak
00:42:52.640 many months
00:42:54.120 earlier.
00:42:55.540 And also, they
00:42:57.540 just very
00:42:58.060 carefully quote
00:42:59.120 Abbey Lowell.
00:43:00.660 And Abbey Lowell
00:43:01.980 is the one,
00:43:02.960 Hunter's lawyer,
00:43:03.820 very expensive
00:43:04.620 lawyer, who is
00:43:05.760 making those
00:43:06.460 allegations.
00:43:08.020 And Abbey Lowell
00:43:09.580 wasn't actually
00:43:10.460 Hunter Biden's
00:43:11.240 lawyer at the
00:43:12.000 time of the
00:43:12.740 leaks, I don't
00:43:13.500 think.
00:43:14.640 So it could
00:43:16.460 easily be someone
00:43:17.480 else.
00:43:17.780 He's trying to
00:43:19.040 dirty them
00:43:20.740 up as
00:43:21.120 scumbags.
00:43:22.540 And he's
00:43:22.920 got no
00:43:23.280 evidence to
00:43:24.180 that effect.
00:43:25.920 No.
00:43:26.340 And what
00:43:26.920 whistleblower,
00:43:28.480 you know, if
00:43:29.200 Shapley had
00:43:30.260 been the
00:43:30.660 leaker, he
00:43:31.180 certainly
00:43:31.460 wouldn't sign
00:43:32.480 a sworn
00:43:32.900 statement and
00:43:33.720 say that he
00:43:34.640 wasn't the
00:43:35.100 leaker and
00:43:35.540 make this
00:43:36.080 into such a
00:43:36.800 public issue.
00:43:38.300 That takes
00:43:39.180 a leak and
00:43:40.440 makes it into
00:43:40.960 a felony,
00:43:41.480 which he
00:43:41.660 doesn't need
00:43:42.100 right now.
00:43:42.600 All right.
00:43:42.840 So that's
00:43:43.240 what's happening
00:43:43.900 there.
00:43:45.740 Let's talk
00:43:46.340 for a minute
00:43:46.700 about the
00:43:47.100 cocaine White
00:43:47.920 House.
00:43:48.260 You know,
00:43:48.440 cocaine bear
00:43:49.000 this is
00:43:49.340 cocaine White
00:43:49.820 House.
00:43:51.340 Now they've
00:43:52.160 changed the
00:43:52.820 location of
00:43:53.480 the cocaine
00:43:54.140 yet again.
00:43:55.880 Now it's a
00:43:56.620 brand new
00:43:57.000 location where
00:43:57.940 it was originally
00:43:58.700 in some public
00:43:59.340 area or it was
00:44:00.120 a library and
00:44:01.220 it was a
00:44:01.540 West Wing
00:44:01.880 cubby.
00:44:02.700 And now
00:44:02.860 they're saying
00:44:03.140 it was closer
00:44:03.560 to the
00:44:03.820 situation room.
00:44:04.960 But once
00:44:05.740 again,
00:44:06.160 cautioning
00:44:06.560 everybody,
00:44:07.120 oh, it
00:44:07.380 may be
00:44:07.720 impossible.
00:44:08.840 It may
00:44:09.060 just be
00:44:09.380 impossible to
00:44:09.960 ever find
00:44:10.440 anybody.
00:44:11.880 What do
00:44:12.760 you make of
00:44:13.080 what's
00:44:13.240 happening with
00:44:14.100 cocaine White
00:44:14.580 House?
00:44:15.940 Well,
00:44:16.480 another
00:44:16.800 cover up.
00:44:17.440 Of course,
00:44:17.940 it's not
00:44:18.360 impossible.
00:44:19.220 This is the
00:44:19.740 most secured
00:44:20.720 location in
00:44:22.360 the entire
00:44:22.940 country.
00:44:23.520 They've got
00:44:24.020 cameras everywhere.
00:44:25.240 They've got
00:44:25.560 secret service
00:44:26.420 everywhere.
00:44:27.080 They know
00:44:28.180 what's going
00:44:29.020 on.
00:44:29.520 The only
00:44:30.340 people allowed
00:44:31.160 into that
00:44:31.700 area,
00:44:32.700 they know
00:44:33.980 every detail
00:44:34.740 about them.
00:44:35.560 They have to
00:44:36.140 be pre-vetted
00:44:37.620 and signed
00:44:38.340 in.
00:44:38.780 They're
00:44:38.960 staffers.
00:44:39.920 They're, you
00:44:41.120 know, people
00:44:41.580 from agencies
00:44:42.400 with security
00:44:43.700 clearances.
00:44:44.280 So there's
00:44:45.860 just no
00:44:46.400 way.
00:44:46.800 And the
00:44:48.140 way the
00:44:48.500 story has
00:44:49.080 changed, the
00:44:51.060 paucity of
00:44:52.260 information, and
00:44:54.180 then this
00:44:54.800 sort of, I
00:44:56.560 don't know,
00:44:57.440 like setting
00:44:58.800 us up to
00:44:59.740 not expect
00:45:00.620 an answer, to
00:45:01.460 try and lower
00:45:02.180 expectations of
00:45:03.460 knowing eventually
00:45:05.760 who the
00:45:06.160 culprit is.
00:45:07.300 And the
00:45:07.580 other interesting
00:45:08.100 thing I thought
00:45:08.760 yesterday was
00:45:09.580 when they
00:45:10.040 changed the
00:45:10.920 location for
00:45:11.600 the third
00:45:11.940 time to
00:45:13.420 the outside
00:45:14.040 the situation
00:45:14.680 room, they
00:45:15.480 said it was
00:45:15.960 CBS actually
00:45:17.360 reported this
00:45:18.120 that to
00:45:19.320 describe the
00:45:20.060 location, it's
00:45:21.780 just near the
00:45:22.600 entrance to
00:45:23.440 the parking
00:45:24.160 lot where,
00:45:25.280 say, the
00:45:25.960 vice president
00:45:27.300 parks her
00:45:28.080 car.
00:45:28.940 So that, of
00:45:29.720 course, leads
00:45:30.280 to another
00:45:31.180 flight of
00:45:33.140 fancy about
00:45:34.800 Kamala Harris
00:45:35.600 and why she
00:45:36.180 laughs so much
00:45:37.100 uproariously.
00:45:37.840 Maybe, you
00:45:38.720 know, she's
00:45:39.660 chemically
00:45:40.300 assisted in
00:45:41.080 somewhere.
00:45:41.600 I mean, I'm
00:45:42.020 being obviously
00:45:42.860 facetious and
00:45:43.900 hypocusers.
00:45:46.640 There's a new
00:45:47.420 twist.
00:45:48.840 She does seem
00:45:49.440 high all the
00:45:50.140 time when she's
00:45:51.040 speaking gibberish.
00:45:53.400 But, you
00:45:54.420 know, maybe
00:45:54.840 that's just a
00:45:55.700 misdirection by
00:45:56.700 the White
00:45:57.080 House to
00:45:57.600 throw Kamala
00:45:58.600 under the
00:45:59.080 bus because
00:46:00.220 she's in the
00:46:00.900 way of
00:46:01.360 Gavin Newsom.
00:46:02.100 Who knows?
00:46:02.840 I mean, that
00:46:03.720 is a White
00:46:04.260 House, but
00:46:05.040 it's a nest
00:46:06.280 of vipers and
00:46:07.300 there's
00:46:08.600 Machiavellian
00:46:09.800 goings-on
00:46:10.520 around every
00:46:11.100 corner.
00:46:11.600 So I think
00:46:12.000 you can never
00:46:12.560 take anything
00:46:13.160 at face
00:46:13.600 value.
00:46:14.520 Well, here's
00:46:14.780 what's crazy.
00:46:15.300 There's this
00:46:15.580 thing called
00:46:15.900 a Hatch Act,
00:46:16.580 which doesn't
00:46:17.080 have any sort
00:46:17.680 of criminal
00:46:18.100 penalties or
00:46:19.100 enforcement
00:46:19.700 mechanisms, but
00:46:20.480 it doesn't
00:46:21.700 allow the
00:46:22.200 White House
00:46:22.700 to get
00:46:23.860 involved in
00:46:24.320 campaign
00:46:24.680 politics.
00:46:25.960 And that's
00:46:26.860 good, but it
00:46:28.160 doesn't excuse
00:46:29.040 the White House
00:46:29.820 from answering
00:46:30.420 questions about
00:46:31.400 cocaine White
00:46:32.100 House.
00:46:33.000 And yet they
00:46:33.720 tried to rely on
00:46:34.680 that.
00:46:34.900 We only have the
00:46:35.380 audio tape of it,
00:46:36.160 but here's the
00:46:36.660 deputy press
00:46:37.400 secretary on
00:46:38.220 audio, Andrew
00:46:39.020 Bates, trying
00:46:40.000 to invoke the
00:46:40.620 Hatch Act
00:46:41.200 yesterday as a
00:46:41.980 reason why he
00:46:42.480 couldn't get into
00:46:42.980 cocaine White
00:46:43.560 House.
00:46:43.860 Listen.
00:46:45.220 Former President
00:46:45.760 Trump has made
00:46:46.300 some pretty wild
00:46:47.380 posts recently on
00:46:48.460 social media.
00:46:49.540 One of them was
00:46:50.280 that the cocaine
00:46:51.460 found in the
00:46:51.860 White House
00:46:52.280 had belonged to
00:46:54.200 either the
00:46:54.920 president or his
00:46:55.580 son.
00:46:56.220 Are you willing
00:46:56.540 to say that
00:46:57.640 that's not the
00:46:58.160 case, that they
00:46:59.060 don't belong to
00:46:59.520 them?
00:46:59.680 I don't have a
00:47:02.640 response to that
00:47:03.580 because we have
00:47:04.140 to be careful
00:47:05.020 about the
00:47:05.640 Hatch Act.
00:47:08.800 Okay, because
00:47:09.940 Trump said it,
00:47:11.640 you can't respond
00:47:12.740 to whether it's
00:47:13.680 true because of
00:47:14.880 the Hatch Act?
00:47:15.860 Nice try.
00:47:18.240 Yeah, that was a
00:47:19.360 really curious
00:47:20.160 answer.
00:47:20.820 And what it tells
00:47:21.580 me is they would
00:47:22.320 have workshopped
00:47:22.980 it beforehand.
00:47:24.020 They don't know
00:47:25.160 if it's hunters
00:47:26.160 or not.
00:47:27.240 So I guess they
00:47:28.640 don't want to be
00:47:29.120 caught out.
00:47:29.680 Lying if it
00:47:30.660 somehow does
00:47:31.320 come out.
00:47:33.360 And so what's
00:47:34.200 likely to happen
00:47:34.780 here, Miranda?
00:47:35.300 What's likely to
00:47:35.780 happen with all
00:47:36.300 of this?
00:47:36.960 Cocaine White
00:47:37.460 House, but more
00:47:38.320 importantly, the
00:47:39.440 blackout on what
00:47:41.060 we're now hearing
00:47:41.820 in your reporting
00:47:42.820 and from this
00:47:43.320 guy, Love?
00:47:44.940 Look, I think
00:47:45.840 that the avalanche
00:47:46.920 of evidence
00:47:47.700 against particularly
00:47:50.260 Joe Biden is
00:47:51.160 going to become
00:47:51.900 politically
00:47:52.860 unpalatable at
00:47:54.700 some point and
00:47:55.540 he will end up
00:47:57.160 sort of escaping
00:47:58.740 and maybe
00:47:59.960 nothing will ever
00:48:01.740 happen.
00:48:03.540 Wow, really?
00:48:04.480 I thought that was
00:48:04.940 going to end a
00:48:05.340 different way.
00:48:06.080 I don't know.
00:48:06.960 I feel like if this
00:48:07.600 keeps going, this
00:48:09.560 may be the excuse
00:48:10.300 the Democrats need
00:48:11.020 to push him out,
00:48:12.160 you know, to get...
00:48:12.860 Well, yes, push
00:48:13.920 him out, but he'll
00:48:15.020 never face
00:48:15.880 accountability for
00:48:17.500 the bribery or
00:48:18.780 the cover-up.
00:48:19.880 And that will be
00:48:20.620 convenient for them.
00:48:21.520 They'll push him
00:48:22.020 out and then he'll
00:48:23.160 plead health issues
00:48:24.520 and that'll be
00:48:26.080 the end.
00:48:26.620 But at least,
00:48:27.860 you know, the
00:48:28.280 truth needs to be
00:48:29.640 out even if no
00:48:30.600 one pays for it.
00:48:32.580 Yeah, that's right.
00:48:33.320 And they'll find
00:48:34.060 some way of
00:48:34.820 getting rid of
00:48:36.080 Kamala.
00:48:36.700 Maybe this...
00:48:37.680 Maybe it's right.
00:48:38.960 The cocaine was
00:48:39.720 right by her
00:48:40.260 parking spot as
00:48:41.160 step one in the
00:48:42.420 master plan.
00:48:44.020 Great to see you.
00:48:45.280 Thank you so much
00:48:46.020 for the great
00:48:46.400 reporting.
00:48:46.840 It's always a
00:48:47.280 pleasure.
00:48:48.700 Thanks, Megan.
00:48:49.240 Great to talk to
00:48:49.860 you.
00:48:50.020 All right.
00:48:50.320 When we come
00:48:50.760 back, Kirk Cameron
00:48:51.760 is here.
00:48:56.000 While as our
00:48:56.740 culture drifts from
00:48:58.000 traditional values
00:48:59.020 bit by bit, we
00:49:00.940 love highlighting the
00:49:01.680 work of those who
00:49:02.440 are fighting back
00:49:03.140 and winning.
00:49:04.140 That's why I'm
00:49:04.600 thrilled to welcome
00:49:05.340 Kirk Cameron back
00:49:06.220 to the show.
00:49:06.960 We had Kirk on the
00:49:08.040 program in December.
00:49:09.400 It was episode 454
00:49:10.840 and it was fascinating.
00:49:12.600 And now he's out
00:49:13.560 with a new
00:49:13.940 children's book
00:49:14.740 called Pride
00:49:15.860 Comes Before
00:49:16.840 the Fall, which
00:49:18.200 he's promoting
00:49:18.820 while battling
00:49:19.840 with the
00:49:21.460 American Library
00:49:23.180 Association.
00:49:24.660 Kirk, welcome
00:49:25.840 back to the show.
00:49:27.860 You know, like the
00:49:29.000 cast of villains, I
00:49:30.620 gotta admit, I did
00:49:31.420 not foresee the
00:49:32.460 American Library
00:49:33.200 Association being
00:49:34.160 there, but they
00:49:35.320 actually have been
00:49:36.720 actively working
00:49:37.860 against you.
00:49:39.400 It's really
00:49:40.160 stunning.
00:49:41.280 I it's it's one
00:49:43.020 thing to irritate
00:49:45.300 Oh, 50 local
00:49:47.560 woke libraries.
00:49:48.660 But when you
00:49:49.980 have called all
00:49:53.740 the way to the
00:49:54.560 ALA and you've
00:49:56.580 awakened the
00:49:57.640 balrogs deep
00:49:58.920 within the
00:50:00.120 the the
00:50:01.340 institutions, then
00:50:03.220 you know that
00:50:03.960 you're you're over
00:50:04.720 the target.
00:50:05.260 And essentially,
00:50:05.980 the director of the
00:50:07.480 Office for
00:50:08.020 Intellectual Freedom
00:50:09.080 went on a
00:50:10.140 nationwide
00:50:11.260 virtual video
00:50:13.860 and was teaching
00:50:15.580 local libraries
00:50:16.740 how to violate
00:50:18.140 the Constitution
00:50:19.240 by restricting
00:50:20.820 certain people
00:50:21.760 from coming in
00:50:22.620 and doing story
00:50:23.300 hours in their
00:50:23.960 libraries based
00:50:25.120 on open
00:50:26.580 intolerance for
00:50:27.940 their religious
00:50:28.620 views.
00:50:29.140 So this isn't
00:50:30.000 just my library.
00:50:30.960 This is what
00:50:31.580 what they referred
00:50:32.900 to as the
00:50:34.100 Kirk Cameron
00:50:34.660 event, which
00:50:35.640 is a day in
00:50:37.120 August where
00:50:37.740 we're encouraging
00:50:38.340 families to go to
00:50:39.200 their local
00:50:39.560 libraries and read
00:50:40.520 books of virtue
00:50:41.200 to their
00:50:41.520 children.
00:50:42.520 It's called
00:50:42.740 See You at the
00:50:43.320 Library and
00:50:44.240 they're teaching
00:50:44.820 libraries how to
00:50:46.020 block it and
00:50:46.840 make up reasons
00:50:47.600 why they don't
00:50:48.260 have room for
00:50:48.840 them.
00:50:49.880 It's unbelievable.
00:50:50.580 We're going to
00:50:50.800 play the sound
00:50:51.320 bite because it's
00:50:51.960 this this person
00:50:52.740 had the stupidity
00:50:54.480 to put it on
00:50:54.980 tape.
00:50:55.320 So she's caught
00:50:55.880 red handed.
00:50:56.740 But before we get
00:50:57.500 to that, let's
00:50:58.000 let's set it up.
00:50:58.680 So you've got
00:50:59.740 this new book
00:51:00.340 out.
00:51:00.780 Pride comes
00:51:01.220 before the
00:51:01.700 fall.
00:51:02.380 Great book.
00:51:03.500 Great timing.
00:51:04.740 In particular,
00:51:05.780 it's designed to
00:51:07.180 coincide with
00:51:07.760 Pride Month.
00:51:08.340 And you point
00:51:08.800 out correctly.
00:51:10.060 Hello.
00:51:10.640 Pride is actually
00:51:11.580 a sin, not
00:51:12.620 something to be
00:51:13.200 celebrated for a
00:51:13.960 month or a
00:51:14.780 season.
00:51:17.160 Well, it
00:51:18.180 you're right.
00:51:19.720 In fact, it's
00:51:20.280 the it's the
00:51:20.880 deadliest of the
00:51:21.740 of the seven
00:51:22.640 deadly sins.
00:51:23.680 I like to say
00:51:24.440 that, you know,
00:51:25.660 gluttony and greed
00:51:26.360 is bad and
00:51:27.700 and sloth,
00:51:28.880 wrath, envy
00:51:29.640 and lust is
00:51:30.960 not something you
00:51:32.280 want to teach
00:51:32.760 your kids.
00:51:33.300 But pride is
00:51:34.440 the pregnant
00:51:35.040 mother that
00:51:35.820 gives birth to
00:51:36.920 all other
00:51:38.000 forms of
00:51:39.120 evil.
00:51:40.160 And pride is
00:51:40.840 ultimately about
00:51:41.420 self.
00:51:41.900 It separates us
00:51:42.980 from other
00:51:43.520 people.
00:51:44.080 Pride separates
00:51:44.840 us from God.
00:51:45.920 And what I
00:51:46.960 think we want to
00:51:47.580 teach our kids is
00:51:48.380 how to be humble
00:51:49.120 and kind, how to
00:51:50.480 put others before
00:51:51.340 themselves.
00:51:51.840 And that's really
00:51:52.460 what the book is
00:51:52.920 all about.
00:51:53.260 It's not an
00:51:53.660 anti-gay book.
00:51:54.560 It's not an
00:51:54.940 anti-LGBTQ
00:51:57.640 community book.
00:51:58.560 It's just saying,
00:51:59.480 look, if you
00:52:00.640 really want to
00:52:01.920 have relationships
00:52:02.880 and a world
00:52:03.900 that is thriving
00:52:04.940 and being blessed
00:52:06.540 and protected,
00:52:07.520 go with
00:52:08.160 humility, not
00:52:09.640 pride.
00:52:11.200 It's it's a
00:52:12.360 terrible message
00:52:12.940 and it has to
00:52:13.480 be stopped.
00:52:14.100 I can see why
00:52:14.660 the library
00:52:15.100 ladies are very
00:52:15.980 mad at you.
00:52:17.360 That cannot be
00:52:18.960 allowed.
00:52:19.100 And so they're
00:52:21.060 attempting to
00:52:22.040 keep these books
00:52:23.720 out of libraries
00:52:24.660 and falsely
00:52:26.080 characterizing the
00:52:27.720 book or me or
00:52:28.800 or just concerned
00:52:30.360 Americans who love
00:52:31.320 God and love their
00:52:32.100 family and their
00:52:32.720 country as being
00:52:34.180 bigots or being
00:52:35.560 haters.
00:52:36.300 But it's it's
00:52:37.340 interesting.
00:52:37.660 The people who
00:52:40.220 are screaming the
00:52:42.040 loudest about
00:52:44.160 book banning,
00:52:46.400 like the
00:52:47.660 the pornographic
00:52:48.860 books that
00:52:49.820 they're wanting
00:52:50.380 to keep in the
00:52:50.960 libraries and
00:52:51.760 they don't want
00:52:52.440 them banned.
00:52:53.040 They're actually
00:52:54.080 the same people
00:52:55.120 who are the
00:52:55.860 most intent on
00:52:56.900 banning books.
00:52:58.320 Yes.
00:52:58.600 It's just the
00:52:59.160 books that they
00:52:59.720 don't like books
00:53:00.940 about faith,
00:53:01.540 hope and love.
00:53:02.480 That's exactly
00:53:03.220 right.
00:53:03.760 I will talk about
00:53:05.120 it one second.
00:53:05.540 I want to tell
00:53:05.800 you I've got
00:53:06.480 another one for
00:53:07.020 you for your
00:53:07.340 second edition.
00:53:08.120 You can do
00:53:08.420 one on on
00:53:09.100 envy and you
00:53:10.440 could base it
00:53:10.960 potentially on
00:53:11.740 this story.
00:53:12.300 I was telling
00:53:12.680 my little guy
00:53:13.340 about a month
00:53:14.640 ago.
00:53:15.080 I was talking
00:53:15.340 to him in and
00:53:15.920 he's like,
00:53:16.340 tell me a story.
00:53:16.940 So I said,
00:53:17.500 OK,
00:53:18.140 and, you know,
00:53:18.440 you just make
00:53:18.800 something up on
00:53:19.280 the spot.
00:53:19.980 And my story
00:53:21.080 was about this
00:53:21.860 little boy who
00:53:22.540 was desperate to
00:53:23.160 make the
00:53:23.860 basketball team
00:53:24.720 and he knew
00:53:25.980 that there were
00:53:26.320 better players on
00:53:27.320 the team.
00:53:28.180 And so he
00:53:28.700 intentionally
00:53:29.140 sabotaged them
00:53:30.120 like he threw
00:53:31.160 a little like
00:53:31.780 sort of little
00:53:32.920 pellets through
00:53:33.540 their basketballs.
00:53:34.640 He threw
00:53:35.000 marbles on the
00:53:35.800 on the basketball
00:53:36.480 court so that
00:53:37.120 they'd slip and
00:53:37.620 fall.
00:53:38.220 He undermined
00:53:39.140 them.
00:53:39.940 And you know
00:53:40.900 what happened?
00:53:41.520 He didn't make
00:53:42.080 the team and
00:53:43.380 it didn't work
00:53:44.080 out for him.
00:53:44.660 Then the next
00:53:45.260 season he tried
00:53:46.000 out again and
00:53:47.140 he had gotten
00:53:47.700 no better.
00:53:48.180 He hadn't
00:53:48.600 practiced.
00:53:49.160 He hadn't
00:53:49.420 worked on his
00:53:49.820 own game,
00:53:50.400 but he tried
00:53:50.980 once again to
00:53:51.480 hurt the other
00:53:51.880 players.
00:53:52.500 And once again,
00:53:53.260 it didn't work
00:53:53.700 out for him.
00:53:54.240 So the third
00:53:54.780 season he went
00:53:55.460 back, he
00:53:56.260 practiced, he
00:53:57.060 worked hard, he
00:53:58.200 supported the
00:53:58.800 other players.
00:53:59.320 And I said to
00:54:00.200 my little
00:54:00.480 Thatcher, and
00:54:01.040 do you think
00:54:01.380 he made the
00:54:01.780 team?
00:54:02.400 And Thatcher
00:54:02.780 said, yes.
00:54:03.780 And I said, no,
00:54:04.920 he didn't.
00:54:05.840 Because this is a
00:54:06.700 just world in
00:54:07.860 which you don't
00:54:08.940 get to make up
00:54:09.580 for all your
00:54:10.020 past sins just
00:54:10.780 by one season
00:54:11.540 of being good.
00:54:12.900 You have to be
00:54:13.740 good all the
00:54:14.640 time.
00:54:15.000 You always have
00:54:15.360 to try for it.
00:54:16.040 Change of
00:54:16.320 heart is good,
00:54:17.140 but it's not
00:54:17.720 going to solve
00:54:18.160 everything in
00:54:19.100 your life.
00:54:19.600 Envy is an
00:54:20.040 evil sin too.
00:54:22.020 Well, that's
00:54:22.420 so great, Megan.
00:54:23.480 What a great
00:54:24.440 mom you are to
00:54:25.340 be able to talk
00:54:26.140 about these things
00:54:26.680 with your kids.
00:54:27.280 And isn't that
00:54:27.900 what we want
00:54:28.640 is we want
00:54:29.080 open discussion.
00:54:30.260 We want
00:54:30.520 intelligent discourse
00:54:32.280 so that we can
00:54:33.380 discuss things
00:54:34.100 like COVID
00:54:35.680 protocols.
00:54:36.640 What should the
00:54:37.220 medical industry
00:54:38.000 really be
00:54:38.580 recommending for
00:54:39.340 the world when
00:54:40.240 it comes to
00:54:40.820 something like
00:54:41.460 this?
00:54:41.940 Let everybody
00:54:42.600 talk.
00:54:43.100 Don't cancel
00:54:43.660 them.
00:54:43.920 Don't censor
00:54:44.460 them.
00:54:44.940 Don't ban
00:54:45.800 books that
00:54:46.760 parents want
00:54:47.440 to read to
00:54:47.840 their children
00:54:48.420 about the
00:54:49.220 history of
00:54:49.680 our country
00:54:50.220 and about
00:54:50.820 what makes
00:54:51.320 families flourish.
00:54:53.240 That is
00:54:54.020 exactly what
00:54:54.780 we're asking
00:54:55.400 for.
00:54:56.760 And when you
00:54:57.260 have these
00:54:57.880 higher-up
00:54:58.700 elites on
00:55:00.080 the far-left
00:55:00.980 side who
00:55:02.480 are openly
00:55:03.480 censoring and
00:55:04.960 encouraging libraries
00:55:05.960 to break the
00:55:06.800 law, you say
00:55:08.340 something has
00:55:09.780 gone very wrong
00:55:10.620 here and we
00:55:11.440 need to get
00:55:11.840 back to the
00:55:12.380 values that
00:55:13.400 you're talking
00:55:14.040 about so that
00:55:15.260 we, the
00:55:15.800 people, as the
00:55:17.100 sovereign of
00:55:17.620 this country, can
00:55:18.620 move forward in
00:55:19.380 a healthy, positive
00:55:20.080 direction.
00:55:21.000 It's so sad.
00:55:22.200 When we're coming
00:55:23.020 off a month in
00:55:24.260 which we saw, I
00:55:25.080 mean, truly, I
00:55:26.000 know I sound 200
00:55:26.980 when I use this
00:55:27.640 word, but
00:55:28.140 debauchery on the
00:55:29.420 streets of America
00:55:30.200 in front of
00:55:31.000 children, corner
00:55:32.240 by corner, shoved
00:55:33.580 in our faces, on
00:55:34.720 the news every
00:55:35.360 night, and now
00:55:36.500 you come up with
00:55:37.320 something that
00:55:37.960 talks about a
00:55:38.700 recognized sin and
00:55:40.020 how to overcome it,
00:55:40.900 how to reject it.
00:55:41.600 It's an uplifting
00:55:42.220 story.
00:55:43.840 It's too offensive
00:55:44.920 to make the public
00:55:45.840 library.
00:55:46.420 And then you try
00:55:46.980 to organize one
00:55:47.920 day, it's August
00:55:48.500 5th, in which
00:55:49.740 others across the
00:55:50.600 country could go
00:55:51.320 into their public
00:55:51.980 library and have a
00:55:52.980 reading of such a
00:55:54.240 book.
00:55:54.640 It doesn't have
00:55:55.000 to be yours.
00:55:55.580 Of whatever
00:55:55.760 books, and really
00:55:56.580 what could be any
00:55:57.220 book you want.
00:55:58.420 Any book of
00:55:58.940 virtue.
00:55:59.620 And this is
00:56:00.320 what's so
00:56:01.280 offended the
00:56:02.440 American Libraries
00:56:03.460 Association that,
00:56:04.360 as you point out,
00:56:05.140 the ALA director
00:56:06.200 has decided that
00:56:08.060 they need to
00:56:09.280 stop you.
00:56:09.860 And here's just a
00:56:10.720 little bit of how
00:56:11.420 she suggested it
00:56:13.040 be done.
00:56:13.640 Sot7.
00:56:15.360 We're seeing
00:56:16.380 groups that
00:56:17.200 seek or seek
00:56:18.080 the censor
00:56:18.640 LGBTQA materials
00:56:20.400 or disparage or
00:56:21.540 silence LGBTQA
00:56:23.500 library users
00:56:24.500 exploit the
00:56:26.780 open nature of
00:56:27.860 a public library
00:56:28.840 to advance
00:56:30.060 their agendas.
00:56:31.420 For example,
00:56:32.320 right now,
00:56:33.740 Brave Books and
00:56:34.760 Kirk Cameron are
00:56:35.700 conducting a
00:56:36.740 campaign to
00:56:37.580 take over
00:56:38.140 libraries on
00:56:38.920 August 5th.
00:56:40.000 The First
00:56:40.300 Amendment does
00:56:40.920 not require the
00:56:41.740 library to even
00:56:42.440 offer meeting
00:56:43.260 room spaces.
00:56:44.440 So this, in
00:56:45.380 regard to the
00:56:46.380 Kirk Cameron
00:56:46.940 thing, you are
00:56:48.060 not obligated to
00:56:49.160 offer public
00:56:50.200 meeting room
00:56:50.680 spaces or invite
00:56:51.720 the public in to
00:56:52.520 use the library.
00:56:53.500 You can make a
00:56:54.520 priority for
00:56:55.240 library-sponsored
00:56:56.140 programs.
00:56:57.000 And what if
00:56:57.680 your library
00:56:58.460 decided to
00:56:59.160 offer a whole
00:56:59.880 host of
00:57:00.400 programs in
00:57:01.120 its meeting
00:57:01.640 room on
00:57:02.000 August 5th,
00:57:02.800 making it
00:57:03.260 unavailable for
00:57:04.060 the public?
00:57:05.200 That's another
00:57:06.660 option for you.
00:57:09.460 That is
00:57:10.280 unbelievable.
00:57:11.360 What if your
00:57:13.180 library happened
00:57:14.260 to have other
00:57:14.860 programs making
00:57:16.160 it unavailable
00:57:17.160 for them to
00:57:17.920 come to your
00:57:18.600 library?
00:57:19.140 library?
00:57:19.820 So this is
00:57:20.720 all about
00:57:21.420 keeping control
00:57:22.780 of the
00:57:23.280 libraries in
00:57:24.700 the hands of
00:57:25.760 librarians, and
00:57:27.400 the way you do
00:57:28.100 that is by
00:57:28.760 making up things
00:57:29.920 that aren't
00:57:30.620 there to block
00:57:31.800 families from
00:57:32.700 reserving a
00:57:33.420 reading room for
00:57:34.140 their own kids.
00:57:35.980 I mean, isn't
00:57:36.580 this wonderful?
00:57:37.320 Megan, this is so
00:57:38.040 great.
00:57:38.400 She just brought
00:57:39.160 up the First
00:57:39.840 Amendment saying
00:57:40.840 it doesn't require
00:57:42.120 you to offer
00:57:42.680 meeting spaces.
00:57:43.480 I have a copy of
00:57:44.220 the Constitution
00:57:44.780 right here.
00:57:45.180 The First
00:57:45.660 Amendment actually
00:57:46.260 says Congress
00:57:46.880 shall make no
00:57:47.480 law respecting
00:57:48.440 the establishment
00:57:49.180 of religion or
00:57:50.360 prohibiting the
00:57:51.540 free exercise of
00:57:52.960 that religion or
00:57:53.940 abridging the
00:57:54.460 freedom of speech
00:57:55.180 or of the press
00:57:55.800 or the right of
00:57:56.280 the people to
00:57:57.020 peaceably assemble.
00:57:58.800 That's precisely
00:57:59.860 what she's
00:58:00.480 recommending local
00:58:01.320 libraries do,
00:58:02.420 is block people
00:58:03.500 from peacefully
00:58:04.360 assembling in a
00:58:05.360 public library to
00:58:07.520 speak about and
00:58:08.680 exercise their
00:58:10.320 sincerely held
00:58:11.260 values about loving
00:58:12.400 God and loving
00:58:13.080 their community.
00:58:13.740 So this is
00:58:15.780 what's so great
00:58:16.340 about every piece
00:58:16.920 of the First
00:58:17.300 Amendment.
00:58:18.780 And what's so
00:58:19.700 great about this
00:58:20.540 is it pulls back
00:58:21.760 the curtain and
00:58:22.560 it shows you that
00:58:23.420 the great wizard
00:58:24.360 that is got all
00:58:26.880 these signs and
00:58:27.760 wonders and powers
00:58:28.900 and all these
00:58:29.460 things that is
00:58:30.380 scaring everybody
00:58:31.800 and making them
00:58:32.460 think he's so
00:58:32.900 popular is is
00:58:33.880 really a group of
00:58:36.040 people who are
00:58:36.580 breaking their own
00:58:37.300 laws.
00:58:38.120 I mean, their
00:58:38.760 stated purpose at
00:58:39.860 the ALA is to
00:58:41.140 protect the rights
00:58:42.140 of all people
00:58:43.360 to have access
00:58:45.160 to information
00:58:46.080 regardless of
00:58:47.040 their views.
00:58:47.820 That's what the
00:58:48.280 drag queen stories
00:58:49.080 are all about.
00:58:50.680 Except, of course,
00:58:51.840 that's precisely
00:58:52.560 what they're not
00:58:53.520 doing when it
00:58:54.140 comes to people
00:58:55.480 like you or me
00:58:56.700 or millions of
00:58:57.420 others who want
00:58:57.860 to talk to their
00:58:58.340 kids about faith,
00:58:59.380 hope, and love.
00:59:00.480 So my question
00:59:01.420 to the ALA is,
00:59:02.200 guys, why all
00:59:02.680 the hate?
00:59:03.660 I thought this was
00:59:05.000 supposed to be,
00:59:05.820 I thought I just
00:59:06.520 learned the rule.
00:59:07.120 it's about
00:59:08.740 diversity, it's
00:59:09.900 about equity,
00:59:11.260 it's about
00:59:11.840 inclusion.
00:59:13.340 Why are you
00:59:13.820 excluding us?
00:59:15.740 And it's not
00:59:17.220 just you.
00:59:17.740 I was talking
00:59:18.240 with a friend
00:59:19.000 of mine who
00:59:20.080 was saying at
00:59:20.760 her local
00:59:21.580 library in
00:59:22.360 Connecticut,
00:59:22.760 she went in
00:59:23.900 and they had
00:59:24.420 genderqueer and
00:59:25.780 they had the
00:59:26.240 whole line of
00:59:27.140 gender books
00:59:28.200 that are not
00:59:30.100 really appropriate
00:59:30.760 for young ones,
00:59:31.560 but fine, okay,
00:59:32.140 it's a public
00:59:32.500 library, there it
00:59:33.220 is, it's up to
00:59:33.680 the parents to
00:59:34.240 screen there.
00:59:34.760 And she asked
00:59:36.100 whether they
00:59:36.480 happen to carry
00:59:37.120 the line of
00:59:37.660 books being put
00:59:38.600 out now by
00:59:39.200 Bethany Mandel.
00:59:41.100 You know, we've
00:59:41.540 got a couple of
00:59:42.040 these books, but
00:59:42.500 they tell great
00:59:43.100 stories about
00:59:43.540 like Ronald Reagan
00:59:44.260 and Margaret
00:59:44.760 Thatcher and
00:59:45.680 some more
00:59:46.200 right-leaning
00:59:47.020 leaders of the
00:59:48.180 past.
00:59:48.680 And the woman
00:59:49.340 said no.
00:59:50.440 And so she, my
00:59:51.760 friend, offered
00:59:52.460 to donate the
00:59:53.680 books.
00:59:54.500 You know, I'll
00:59:54.960 get them for
00:59:55.360 you.
00:59:55.760 And she said,
00:59:56.580 we're not
00:59:57.020 interested in that
00:59:58.000 line of books.
00:59:59.120 Right?
00:59:59.380 No, we're not
00:59:59.960 interested.
01:00:01.840 Yeah.
01:00:03.280 Right.
01:00:03.760 Well, I think
01:00:06.640 that this is a
01:00:07.500 big wake-up call
01:00:08.160 for us.
01:00:09.380 I think this
01:00:10.020 is a time for
01:00:11.000 us as moms
01:00:11.600 and dads and
01:00:12.180 grandparents and
01:00:13.260 business people
01:00:15.160 and politicians
01:00:15.860 and clergy and
01:00:17.400 everybody else to
01:00:18.400 say, who are
01:00:20.280 we as citizens
01:00:22.200 of the United
01:00:22.860 States of
01:00:23.320 America?
01:00:24.080 I mean, are
01:00:24.560 we going to go
01:00:25.500 back to this
01:00:26.260 document called
01:00:27.080 the Declaration
01:00:28.200 and the
01:00:30.280 Constitution?
01:00:31.080 Are we going
01:00:31.360 to understand
01:00:32.320 the roots that
01:00:34.420 nourish the
01:00:35.280 tree of
01:00:35.820 liberty and
01:00:36.500 produce this
01:00:37.220 sweet fruit of
01:00:41.360 economic opportunity
01:00:43.520 and educational
01:00:44.540 freedom and
01:00:45.540 political and
01:00:46.640 spiritual freedom
01:00:47.980 and liberty?
01:00:48.820 Or are we
01:00:49.960 going to cut
01:00:51.120 those roots off
01:00:52.140 and let the
01:00:53.180 tree shrivel
01:00:54.400 and we're going
01:00:55.500 to start eating
01:00:56.180 the rotten,
01:00:57.180 pithy, bitter
01:00:58.020 fruit of
01:00:59.220 socialism leading
01:01:00.660 communism and
01:01:03.100 it's going to
01:01:03.600 be an
01:01:03.820 authoritarian
01:01:04.200 government that
01:01:05.380 leaves you with
01:01:06.240 no liberty?
01:01:07.540 And then what
01:01:08.680 will all these
01:01:09.220 people do when
01:01:10.320 they finally come
01:01:11.620 for them last?
01:01:13.500 There won't be
01:01:14.380 any of these
01:01:17.300 folks who think
01:01:18.500 that they can just
01:01:19.040 run around doing
01:01:19.620 whatever they want.
01:01:20.520 They're going to,
01:01:21.300 at the end of the
01:01:21.760 day, have to
01:01:23.460 submit to the
01:01:24.320 leadership of
01:01:24.880 someone and I
01:01:26.060 don't think that
01:01:26.520 should be any
01:01:27.280 narcissistic
01:01:28.080 authoritarian
01:01:28.560 government or
01:01:30.020 dictator, I
01:01:31.220 think the
01:01:32.040 smartest thing
01:01:32.680 to do is to
01:01:33.720 say, how
01:01:34.440 about the
01:01:35.200 loving God
01:01:35.940 who made us
01:01:36.680 and gave us
01:01:37.280 this beautiful
01:01:38.000 earth and
01:01:39.220 a country and
01:01:40.400 allows us to
01:01:41.000 live in freedom
01:01:41.700 if we do the
01:01:42.880 right thing
01:01:43.340 together with
01:01:44.000 one another?
01:01:45.000 Well, I have a
01:01:45.820 good idea for
01:01:46.540 the people out
01:01:47.640 there interested
01:01:48.160 in helping you
01:01:49.240 on this August
01:01:49.900 5th effort.
01:01:50.900 Again, it could
01:01:51.320 be Kirk's book,
01:01:51.920 it could be any
01:01:52.380 book, but you
01:01:53.660 should call your
01:01:54.460 local library and
01:01:55.380 say you want to
01:01:55.980 reserve the meeting
01:01:56.680 space to discuss
01:01:58.220 books that speak
01:02:00.560 to family values,
01:02:01.520 perhaps gender
01:02:02.600 queer, perhaps
01:02:04.260 others, you
01:02:05.300 know, we'll see.
01:02:06.600 Then you'll get
01:02:07.040 the meeting space
01:02:07.800 because that's in
01:02:08.560 line with her
01:02:09.060 plan.
01:02:09.720 Then you show
01:02:10.380 up with Pride
01:02:11.880 Comes Before
01:02:12.380 the Fall and
01:02:13.460 let it rip.
01:02:15.700 Yeah, that's
01:02:16.400 a great idea and
01:02:17.540 even better if
01:02:18.600 you go to
01:02:19.020 bravebooks.com
01:02:20.800 and look for
01:02:22.460 the See You
01:02:22.960 at the Library
01:02:23.680 tab, you can
01:02:25.100 not only get
01:02:25.540 my book for
01:02:26.120 free, but
01:02:27.340 we'll show
01:02:28.320 you how to
01:02:29.240 set up
01:02:29.920 step-by-step
01:02:30.720 your own
01:02:31.420 story hour
01:02:32.300 for your kids
01:02:33.160 in your
01:02:33.440 community and
01:02:34.480 how to
01:02:35.140 actually get
01:02:36.660 around some
01:02:37.300 of the roadblocks
01:02:38.040 that your local
01:02:38.640 library might be
01:02:39.900 putting in front
01:02:40.560 of you.
01:02:41.300 And I'm going
01:02:41.880 to get on a
01:02:42.500 Zoom call with
01:02:43.540 everyone who's
01:02:44.220 doing this.
01:02:45.040 I'm going to
01:02:45.320 answer your
01:02:45.740 questions and
01:02:46.540 together on
01:02:47.300 August 5th, we
01:02:48.780 as the hobbits
01:02:50.120 of the Shire of
01:02:51.360 the United States
01:02:52.160 of America are
01:02:53.280 going to be
01:02:53.900 engaged in a
01:02:54.880 battle against
01:02:55.580 the Orcs and
01:02:57.620 we are going
01:02:58.960 to win.
01:02:59.840 I can't wait.
01:03:00.740 So please join
01:03:01.500 us.
01:03:01.800 Go to
01:03:02.000 bravebooks.com.
01:03:03.440 Well, I confess
01:03:04.200 I too was
01:03:04.940 subjected to a
01:03:05.560 book ban in
01:03:06.860 my Thatcher's
01:03:08.040 third grade class.
01:03:09.400 They had the
01:03:09.960 parents come in
01:03:10.940 and do a
01:03:11.760 reading.
01:03:12.460 No, it was
01:03:12.960 second grade.
01:03:13.460 It happened
01:03:13.640 last year.
01:03:14.700 Second grade
01:03:15.240 class, they had
01:03:15.720 the parents come
01:03:16.120 in and do a
01:03:16.480 reading.
01:03:17.140 And I really
01:03:18.360 wanted to read
01:03:18.900 this book
01:03:19.400 about gas.
01:03:22.320 And the
01:03:23.020 teacher wouldn't
01:03:23.940 let me.
01:03:26.360 Oh, no.
01:03:27.260 I have the
01:03:27.600 sense of humor
01:03:28.340 of a nine-year-old
01:03:28.980 boy.
01:03:29.300 I understand
01:03:29.740 what these
01:03:30.100 kids would
01:03:30.460 like.
01:03:31.060 She shut
01:03:31.520 me down
01:03:31.860 cold, Kirk.
01:03:32.980 That too
01:03:34.800 is a brave
01:03:35.240 book.
01:03:36.980 Few things
01:03:37.760 nine-year-old
01:03:38.280 boys like
01:03:38.780 better than
01:03:39.440 bathroom jokes
01:03:41.320 and books
01:03:42.000 about gas.
01:03:42.620 It's gold.
01:03:43.360 It's absolute
01:03:44.320 gold.
01:03:45.540 You know,
01:03:46.420 Megan,
01:03:47.420 speaking of
01:03:48.180 nine-year-olds
01:03:48.980 and kids,
01:03:50.280 I went
01:03:51.520 digging around
01:03:52.460 in sort
01:03:54.780 of the
01:03:55.340 time vault
01:03:56.660 that I
01:03:57.060 have and I
01:03:57.540 found something
01:03:58.360 that I
01:03:59.180 thought you
01:03:59.580 might like.
01:04:00.460 Last December
01:04:01.460 we talked
01:04:02.000 about you
01:04:03.600 had a
01:04:04.180 childhood
01:04:04.520 crush.
01:04:05.700 I think I
01:04:07.340 was part of
01:04:08.080 that.
01:04:08.420 I think you
01:04:08.780 had something
01:04:09.160 to do with
01:04:09.860 You're the
01:04:11.260 only fan
01:04:11.840 letter I
01:04:12.200 ever wrote.
01:04:13.080 And I
01:04:13.380 think I
01:04:13.740 never wrote
01:04:14.240 you back.
01:04:15.140 And I
01:04:15.380 just thought
01:04:16.160 I would
01:04:16.400 try to make
01:04:16.860 it up for
01:04:17.140 you.
01:04:17.260 I think
01:04:18.020 I found
01:04:18.780 one remaining
01:04:20.560 Mike Seaver
01:04:22.140 poster from
01:04:23.220 1986 and
01:04:25.160 I signed
01:04:25.740 it to,
01:04:26.740 I don't know
01:04:26.920 if you can
01:04:27.100 read it,
01:04:27.420 it says,
01:04:27.660 to Megan,
01:04:28.200 my biggest
01:04:28.820 fan,
01:04:29.840 heart,
01:04:30.160 heart,
01:04:31.060 Kirk
01:04:31.300 Cameron.
01:04:32.340 I can
01:04:33.020 die now.
01:04:34.920 Look at
01:04:35.480 that with
01:04:35.800 the suspenders
01:04:36.480 and their
01:04:36.820 exposed
01:04:37.300 shoulders.
01:04:38.640 If I
01:04:39.420 can find
01:04:39.960 your mailing
01:04:42.140 address,
01:04:42.780 I will wrap
01:04:43.380 it up and
01:04:43.780 send it to
01:04:44.220 you for
01:04:44.560 Christmas.
01:04:45.640 Abby,
01:04:46.020 Abby,
01:04:47.280 right now,
01:04:48.340 text it
01:04:49.800 immediately.
01:04:51.920 Thank you
01:04:52.320 for letting
01:04:52.680 me create
01:04:53.260 a fun and
01:04:54.600 awkward moment
01:04:55.360 like that.
01:04:57.160 I can't see
01:04:58.640 you on my
01:04:59.200 screen,
01:04:59.540 so I can't
01:04:59.960 tell if you're
01:05:00.380 blushing.
01:05:01.120 But it's always
01:05:01.820 my goal is to
01:05:02.960 try to make
01:05:03.400 the host
01:05:03.860 blush.
01:05:05.760 Because people
01:05:06.380 are always
01:05:06.700 trying to put
01:05:07.100 me on,
01:05:08.540 knock me off
01:05:09.360 balance,
01:05:09.960 right,
01:05:10.280 with sort of
01:05:10.900 gotcha questions.
01:05:11.680 So I
01:05:12.440 thought I'd
01:05:13.020 flip the
01:05:13.400 script a
01:05:13.740 little today.
01:05:14.980 Well,
01:05:15.500 no,
01:05:15.760 I didn't
01:05:16.100 blush,
01:05:16.440 but I did
01:05:16.760 smile from
01:05:17.240 ear to
01:05:17.540 ear,
01:05:17.720 and that
01:05:17.900 is going
01:05:18.240 on the
01:05:18.560 wall.
01:05:18.900 That's
01:05:19.100 going on
01:05:19.340 the wall
01:05:19.700 of fame,
01:05:20.360 right next
01:05:20.940 to my
01:05:21.220 Dennis Rodman
01:05:21.880 basketball
01:05:22.320 signed by
01:05:23.100 Dennis Rodman
01:05:24.160 with a
01:05:24.460 picture of
01:05:24.840 Kim Jong-un.
01:05:25.180 There you
01:05:25.380 go.
01:05:27.200 You're
01:05:27.520 going to be
01:05:27.740 in great
01:05:28.080 company.
01:05:29.220 I love it,
01:05:29.880 and I love
01:05:30.220 everything you do.
01:05:30.720 This is a
01:05:31.080 great effort
01:05:31.520 by you and
01:05:32.680 by Brave
01:05:33.200 Books.
01:05:33.880 Can I just
01:05:34.180 ask you a
01:05:34.500 question?
01:05:34.820 I'm here.
01:05:35.860 Abby's not
01:05:36.320 actually in
01:05:36.660 the room
01:05:36.860 with me
01:05:37.100 because she's
01:05:37.440 back in
01:05:37.800 Connecticut,
01:05:38.520 and I'm at
01:05:38.780 the Jersey
01:05:39.120 Shore for
01:05:39.500 the summer.
01:05:41.000 Do you
01:05:41.320 follow me
01:05:43.260 what's
01:05:43.440 happening with
01:05:43.840 the sharks?
01:05:44.780 Because we
01:05:45.060 get sharks
01:05:45.480 here at
01:05:45.720 the Jersey
01:05:46.040 Shore,
01:05:46.580 but not
01:05:47.620 like what's
01:05:48.100 happening on
01:05:48.580 Long Island
01:05:48.920 right now.
01:05:49.420 I'm like,
01:05:49.800 I'm obsessed
01:05:50.900 with this
01:05:51.240 story.
01:05:51.780 Have you
01:05:51.940 been seeing
01:05:52.220 what's
01:05:52.380 happening
01:05:52.540 to Long
01:05:52.780 Island
01:05:53.020 with the
01:05:53.300 five shark
01:05:54.320 attacks over
01:05:54.840 the past
01:05:55.160 week?
01:05:55.740 You know,
01:05:56.060 I'm not up
01:05:57.020 on the shark
01:05:57.560 attacks.
01:05:58.160 I've been
01:05:58.380 hearing all
01:05:59.380 about Biden's
01:06:01.100 granddaughter
01:06:01.640 and de
01:06:02.360 Blasio and
01:06:03.240 all sorts of
01:06:04.060 other things,
01:06:04.420 but I've
01:06:04.640 not been
01:06:05.740 updated on
01:06:06.300 the shark
01:06:06.600 story.
01:06:07.260 This one's
01:06:07.700 more important.
01:06:08.380 All right,
01:06:08.600 I got to
01:06:09.000 tell you
01:06:09.260 something.
01:06:09.600 Here's what's
01:06:09.980 happening on
01:06:10.440 the shores
01:06:10.900 of Long
01:06:11.260 Island,
01:06:11.680 not far
01:06:12.320 from where
01:06:12.680 I am,
01:06:13.740 on the
01:06:14.060 shores of
01:06:14.420 New Jersey,
01:06:15.140 off the
01:06:15.580 coast of
01:06:16.000 Long
01:06:16.240 Island.
01:06:16.720 This is
01:06:16.940 the AP
01:06:17.700 drones sweep
01:06:19.300 over the
01:06:19.680 ocean,
01:06:20.400 patrolling
01:06:20.900 the water
01:06:21.480 for any
01:06:21.840 danger that
01:06:22.360 might lurk
01:06:22.920 below the
01:06:23.500 surface as
01:06:24.280 beachgoers
01:06:24.940 grow more
01:06:25.880 vigilant because
01:06:26.860 of a recent
01:06:27.580 spate of
01:06:28.620 shark encounters.
01:06:30.120 Over two
01:06:30.540 days this
01:06:31.140 week,
01:06:31.900 five people
01:06:32.860 reported being
01:06:33.740 bitten by
01:06:34.360 sharks at
01:06:35.380 some of
01:06:35.720 New York's
01:06:36.120 most popular
01:06:36.840 beaches leading
01:06:37.720 to heightened
01:06:38.260 surveillance of
01:06:39.560 the area's
01:06:40.220 waters.
01:06:41.400 And this
01:06:41.880 dovetailed
01:06:42.740 nicely or
01:06:44.160 not so nicely
01:06:45.040 with video out
01:06:46.280 of Florida
01:06:46.800 this week where
01:06:48.260 it was in
01:06:49.060 Navarre,
01:06:49.780 is it Navarre,
01:06:50.640 N-A-V-A-R-R-E,
01:06:51.980 my apologies to
01:06:52.600 our friends down
01:06:53.080 there,
01:06:53.600 Florida on
01:06:54.120 Monday.
01:06:54.940 Look at this,
01:06:55.580 Kirk.
01:06:55.720 you can see a
01:06:57.060 huge shark
01:06:58.300 swimming right
01:06:59.740 off the beach.
01:07:00.420 It's the scene
01:07:00.860 out of Jaws.
01:07:01.600 The kids are
01:07:02.060 yelling,
01:07:02.340 get out.
01:07:03.400 Let's see the
01:07:04.120 fins.
01:07:06.980 Wow.
01:07:12.780 It is like a
01:07:13.720 scene of Jaws.
01:07:14.380 Oh my gosh,
01:07:20.920 I would be
01:07:21.320 therapy.
01:07:22.000 I wouldn't be
01:07:22.680 dead from the
01:07:23.080 shark.
01:07:23.520 I would be
01:07:23.840 dead from the
01:07:24.400 heart attack
01:07:25.140 that I would
01:07:25.960 have in seeing
01:07:26.740 those fins.
01:07:27.820 So do you
01:07:28.780 let your kids,
01:07:29.680 your father of,
01:07:30.460 is it six?
01:07:31.760 Five or six?
01:07:32.400 Six.
01:07:33.000 Okay.
01:07:33.440 Do you let your,
01:07:34.160 I know they're older
01:07:34.740 now, but when they
01:07:35.240 were little, did you
01:07:35.780 let them swim in the
01:07:36.600 ocean?
01:07:37.000 Did you have any
01:07:37.660 qualms?
01:07:38.820 You know,
01:07:39.300 what do you
01:07:39.680 think?
01:07:41.800 So we loved the
01:07:43.000 beach.
01:07:43.260 In fact, when I was
01:07:43.740 a little kid, we
01:07:44.180 went to the beach
01:07:44.720 every weekend and
01:07:46.020 would body surf
01:07:46.860 with my dad and
01:07:47.680 my grandpa.
01:07:48.800 And when we took
01:07:49.660 our kids to the
01:07:50.120 beach, yeah, they
01:07:50.640 were in the water
01:07:51.020 all the time.
01:07:52.080 So we didn't have
01:07:53.040 any problems.
01:07:53.560 It's kind of a rare
01:07:54.460 occurrence actually
01:07:55.140 getting bitten by a
01:07:55.940 shark, but, but this
01:07:57.140 is shocking.
01:07:58.200 I mean, if I lived
01:07:58.680 there, I wouldn't be
01:07:59.560 sending my kids into
01:08:00.220 the water now.
01:08:01.200 I know.
01:08:01.760 Well, everyone's
01:08:02.300 fine.
01:08:02.660 I think I'm not
01:08:03.220 fine, but like it
01:08:04.100 wasn't like a Jaws
01:08:04.940 bite where they took
01:08:06.100 a leg or they
01:08:06.780 killed somebody.
01:08:08.300 Like one day, this
01:08:09.560 article describes one
01:08:10.340 guy is having his
01:08:10.920 toes nibbled.
01:08:11.920 I'm like, well, that
01:08:12.380 makes it sound
01:08:12.920 enjoyable.
01:08:13.580 That's certainly not
01:08:15.960 how it went down.
01:08:17.300 You know, it makes me
01:08:19.420 think of my friend
01:08:19.920 Bethany Hamilton, who
01:08:21.160 she got, you know,
01:08:22.060 the professional
01:08:22.960 surfer who got her
01:08:23.720 arm bit off by a
01:08:24.640 shark.
01:08:25.460 Right.
01:08:25.800 So the movie about
01:08:26.960 that.
01:08:27.540 So she's yeah, she's
01:08:28.880 she's been there.
01:08:29.680 Done that.
01:08:30.440 Well, all right.
01:08:31.580 I you didn't make me
01:08:32.840 feel any better.
01:08:33.520 I got to be honest.
01:08:34.240 I still don't know.
01:08:35.100 I don't go in the
01:08:35.760 ocean, but Mike, I
01:08:36.860 let my kids go in,
01:08:37.580 which what does that
01:08:38.500 say about me?
01:08:39.120 That's not like I'm so
01:08:40.300 scared.
01:08:40.580 I won't go in, but I'll
01:08:41.340 let my little guys go.
01:08:42.580 It's sick.
01:08:44.320 It's like my sister-in-law
01:08:45.380 lives in Cape Cod and she
01:08:46.420 lost her beach because they
01:08:47.500 had serious, deadly shark
01:08:48.940 attacks a couple of years
01:08:49.760 ago.
01:08:50.460 I mean, truly, that killed
01:08:51.320 people.
01:08:52.300 And if you live in Cape
01:08:53.240 Cod, you live there because
01:08:54.040 the ocean.
01:08:54.600 I mean, that's why you're
01:08:55.320 there.
01:08:55.800 And now they like, sure,
01:08:56.960 like they can't they can't
01:08:58.000 swim anymore.
01:08:58.560 And it seems like bit
01:08:59.960 by bit as these
01:09:00.820 conservationists sort of
01:09:01.980 work to get the fish
01:09:03.420 population restored, the
01:09:04.580 seal population restored.
01:09:06.160 The sharks are coming
01:09:06.960 back and getting.
01:09:09.320 Is that maybe?
01:09:10.100 Yeah, right.
01:09:10.560 Maybe.
01:09:10.860 Is that it happening?
01:09:12.360 Yeah.
01:09:12.760 In part, that's definitely
01:09:14.020 it.
01:09:14.380 And now you got these
01:09:15.360 conservationists celebrating
01:09:16.440 that.
01:09:16.740 Oh, well, look, look at all
01:09:17.680 the little fish.
01:09:18.260 They're back.
01:09:19.020 We know what those little
01:09:19.700 schools of fish attract
01:09:20.720 big old fish called
01:09:22.220 sharks, which aren't
01:09:23.560 out on a mission to eat
01:09:24.780 us.
01:09:25.080 But they they're not
01:09:26.300 that great to share the
01:09:27.140 ocean with.
01:09:27.840 I realize it's their home,
01:09:28.780 not ours.
01:09:29.180 But still, as a parent of
01:09:31.420 young children, I maybe
01:09:33.160 maybe a little less
01:09:34.000 conservation.
01:09:34.840 We'll see.
01:09:35.800 All right.
01:09:36.040 Let's keep going.
01:09:37.500 I want to talk to you
01:09:38.560 about what's happening in
01:09:39.380 the gender lean because
01:09:40.240 it's taking over the
01:09:41.180 world.
01:09:41.660 Now, forgive me about,
01:09:43.520 you know, you said people
01:09:44.340 like to make you blush.
01:09:45.220 This one may do it.
01:09:46.420 But the big celebration
01:09:47.780 this week was about this
01:09:49.940 new line of sanitary
01:09:51.980 pads, you know, pads
01:09:53.860 during a period by this
01:09:56.120 new company called
01:09:58.060 August, which is really
01:09:59.640 worried about not women
01:10:01.000 and their periods, but
01:10:02.640 menstruators.
01:10:04.320 Listen to this woman on
01:10:05.420 Thursday's CBS this
01:10:07.460 morning, the CEO of this
01:10:08.540 company.
01:10:09.820 We are August wanting a
01:10:12.080 gender inclusive name on
01:10:13.160 the back.
01:10:13.580 It says we're here for
01:10:14.340 everyone who menstruates.
01:10:15.540 And I think especially in
01:10:16.580 this age of transphobia,
01:10:17.600 it really means a lot to
01:10:18.740 us to be proudly a
01:10:19.780 gender inclusive brand.
01:10:20.760 History and society has
01:10:22.860 built up this stigma that
01:10:24.140 makes menstruators feel so
01:10:25.540 ashamed.
01:10:26.340 Yeah, it makes us feel
01:10:27.160 like there's something
01:10:27.840 wrong with our bodies.
01:10:28.960 We're taught that period
01:10:30.140 blood is this contaminable,
01:10:32.540 like disgusting.
01:10:33.860 Dirty, nasty.
01:10:34.820 Yes.
01:10:35.400 And I think that it always
01:10:36.800 breaks my heart to hear so
01:10:38.280 many stories every day of
01:10:39.660 young menstruators who get
01:10:40.500 their period and have never
01:10:41.800 heard about it.
01:10:44.820 I'm sorry.
01:10:45.800 Can you believe?
01:10:47.740 You know, it really isn't
01:10:49.580 funny.
01:10:49.920 I mean, it's just it's so
01:10:51.700 it's it's so laughable, but
01:10:53.400 it's it it's like we're not
01:10:56.600 being are we being punked or
01:10:58.860 is this is is this an actual
01:11:01.540 reality that we're moving
01:11:02.940 into calling the menstruators
01:11:05.920 rather than talking about the
01:11:08.860 reality of men and women?
01:11:10.200 It's it's crazy.
01:11:12.000 This reminds me of that trans
01:11:14.500 flasher on the lawn of the
01:11:16.560 White House not too long ago
01:11:18.240 during Pride Month.
01:11:20.480 And this is the kind of
01:11:22.660 this is where it's heading.
01:11:24.720 Right.
01:11:24.860 This is this is the kind of
01:11:26.340 immorality and disrespect from
01:11:28.680 this group of people who think
01:11:30.860 it's OK to for
01:11:33.020 for a man to flash his
01:11:35.700 his false breath, his
01:11:37.580 moobs, you know,
01:11:39.460 right there in front of children
01:11:41.020 and say that this is the new
01:11:43.240 normal for morality, that we're
01:11:44.720 going to we're going to we're
01:11:46.320 going to free body parts so that
01:11:47.980 everybody can enjoy them with
01:11:49.340 us.
01:11:49.660 And we're going to have an
01:11:50.240 entire month where people
01:11:51.520 essentially are asking others to
01:11:53.660 celebrate their sex life, who
01:11:56.200 they like to have sex with.
01:11:58.360 I just think that that's that's.
01:12:01.860 That's that's weird and that's
01:12:04.740 wrong and we shouldn't be doing
01:12:06.140 that.
01:12:06.700 And if you want to do it, at least
01:12:08.400 keep it away from the kids.
01:12:10.260 Don't stick it in their face.
01:12:12.480 No, the kids are our target.
01:12:13.900 Number one, I mean, we talked
01:12:15.080 yesterday about how there's now
01:12:17.300 this big celebration of men
01:12:20.160 with their moobs trying to
01:12:22.920 breastfeed upset infants who are
01:12:26.400 not getting milk.
01:12:27.680 And even though it may be
01:12:29.040 possible with a ton of hormones
01:12:30.500 and breast pumps and so on to do
01:12:31.920 it, they're being celebrated.
01:12:34.320 There was this ITV, a major
01:12:36.520 broadcaster in the UK that was
01:12:38.100 celebrating a man doing this as
01:12:40.480 the face of womanhood.
01:12:41.680 The story was about motherhood
01:12:43.700 and they used a man with his
01:12:45.960 moobs trying to breastfeed an
01:12:47.780 infant.
01:12:48.520 Then we find out this guy.
01:12:50.260 There are pictures of him
01:12:51.440 online with nipple clamps on
01:12:53.400 his nipples.
01:12:54.280 He's got a fetish and I was
01:12:55.800 using a baby apparently to get
01:12:57.960 after it.
01:12:59.080 And then we find out today.
01:13:00.340 Here's another man who started a
01:13:02.220 GoFundMe to try to buy breast
01:13:05.560 pumps to help him lactate.
01:13:08.560 Forgive me.
01:13:09.340 It's not 10.
01:13:10.000 I've always wanted to be able
01:13:12.520 to lactate.
01:13:13.680 And today, my doctor, after my
01:13:16.560 EKG results, said that he's
01:13:20.280 feeling confident enough to start
01:13:21.840 me on this medication regularly.
01:13:25.380 And it has some serious side
01:13:28.140 effects, but I'm only going to be
01:13:30.040 taking it for two weeks, up to
01:13:32.220 three weeks possible.
01:13:33.100 So within two weeks, I should be
01:13:37.000 lactating.
01:13:37.780 The rest is on me.
01:13:39.340 I'm going to have to pump and keep
01:13:40.860 a supply.
01:13:42.420 This is the tough part.
01:13:43.840 I have one pump.
01:13:45.520 I need two pumps.
01:13:47.760 And I'm the amount of lactate,
01:13:51.040 the amount of pumping that I have
01:13:52.660 to do to lactate is going to require
01:13:55.440 a better pump than what I got.
01:13:56.780 I mean, I have electric pump, but I
01:13:58.520 need the two of them and I need them
01:14:00.180 where they're more compact and I'm
01:14:02.340 going to start a GoFundMe.
01:14:04.920 I need some help.
01:14:08.880 Sick.
01:14:09.600 I mean, it's truly evil.
01:14:10.920 Isn't it fun when we try to play
01:14:13.960 God and we try to say,
01:14:18.960 okay, let's just think here.
01:14:21.600 Let's deconstruct the building blocks
01:14:24.480 of reality and gender and biology
01:14:27.740 and essential relationships for human
01:14:31.160 society.
01:14:32.340 Let's mix them all up and try
01:14:33.740 something new.
01:14:34.860 Isn't this leading us in a healthy
01:14:36.880 direction?
01:14:38.140 Oh my goodness.
01:14:39.820 Terrifying.
01:14:40.720 It really is evil.
01:14:42.040 Well, and, and, and, and the ones
01:14:47.160 that I am, my heart goes out for the
01:14:49.800 most are.
01:14:52.920 Yes.
01:14:53.360 The people who are caught up in, in
01:14:55.260 that kind of a, of a, of a confused
01:14:58.060 web and they're vulnerable to that
01:15:02.620 kind of things, maybe because of trauma
01:15:04.960 in their life.
01:15:06.380 And, uh, that's why we need to have
01:15:09.280 hearts of compassion toward people.
01:15:10.840 And then think of our children who
01:15:12.780 are growing up and this is their
01:15:14.080 normal.
01:15:15.080 This isn't a weird and woke world
01:15:17.360 that they're being introduced to
01:15:18.860 contra reality.
01:15:20.300 This is their reality.
01:15:22.340 And that's what's so disturbing and
01:15:25.400 concerning for people like us.
01:15:27.260 This has happened on our watch and
01:15:29.180 we're handing this down as a legacy
01:15:31.420 to our children, unless we reverse
01:15:33.840 course.
01:15:34.920 Um, Megan, I brought something with
01:15:36.280 me that, um, I think can.
01:15:39.160 Help us understand what we need to get
01:15:43.960 back to, uh, what, one of my favorite
01:15:45.480 heroes of history is, his name is
01:15:47.040 Charles Spurgeon.
01:15:48.020 He was a minister in England, uh, back
01:15:50.240 in the 1800s.
01:15:51.020 And he said, don't waste any time
01:15:53.500 trying to explain the crookedness of a
01:15:55.780 stick.
01:15:57.300 All you have to do is lay a straight
01:15:59.620 stick beside it.
01:16:00.920 And the work is done.
01:16:02.680 Hmm.
01:16:03.320 Speak the truth and error is abashed in
01:16:07.320 its presence.
01:16:08.740 And it's very difficult to explain to
01:16:11.680 children today how crooked our society
01:16:14.180 has become because it is their normal.
01:16:18.000 And they're being told that that is the
01:16:20.780 plumb line for reality.
01:16:22.080 What we need to do is hold the straight
01:16:24.100 stick up for them as parents.
01:16:26.400 And one of the things that I have
01:16:28.960 championed for the last, uh, 10 years
01:16:31.880 is something that is a national treasure.
01:16:35.660 There is a monument that our forefathers
01:16:37.780 and foremothers left us.
01:16:39.580 The pilgrims left for us the largest
01:16:42.520 granite monument in America.
01:16:45.180 And it's hidden in a forest in Plymouth,
01:16:48.340 Massachusetts, right off of Cape Cod.
01:16:50.960 And nobody knows that it's there and it
01:16:54.540 spells out their secret sauce recipe for
01:16:57.700 building a free and just society with
01:17:00.620 lasting liberty for generations.
01:17:03.700 And I made a replica of it so that I
01:17:06.820 could teach it in universities to, uh,
01:17:10.360 elected officials in Congress to ministers
01:17:13.420 and churches and parents.
01:17:15.180 I think I've got a picture here.
01:17:16.820 Tell me if you see it.
01:17:17.760 Uh, I gave it to your producer.
01:17:19.420 Yeah, I see it.
01:17:20.280 It's 81 feet tall, 180 tons of granite.
01:17:24.020 It's the largest granite monument in
01:17:25.920 America.
01:17:26.340 Look how tall the people are standing in
01:17:27.920 front of it.
01:17:28.860 Uh, here's the, here's a replica that I
01:17:30.540 made of it that I take around the
01:17:33.900 country.
01:17:34.800 And I'm going to give you a quick, uh,
01:17:37.460 unlocking of the, this matrix of
01:17:40.180 liberty to tell you so that if we as a
01:17:43.980 nation ever lose our way, our forefathers
01:17:47.540 and mothers gave us the deactivation code
01:17:51.340 for the woke matrix, and we can find our
01:17:55.160 way back to Liberty here, here's, here's
01:17:56.900 how it works.
01:17:57.940 There's five figures, one, two, three, four,
01:18:01.040 five around the base, the tallest and the
01:18:03.380 most important at the top.
01:18:05.280 Her name is faith.
01:18:06.440 She's pointing to heaven.
01:18:08.060 She's holding the Bible in her hands and
01:18:10.780 she's got a star on her forehead
01:18:13.040 representing wisdom.
01:18:14.780 They said that if you want to have
01:18:16.880 liberty, you must start with faith in
01:18:18.560 God and in his word, and God will give
01:18:21.060 you wisdom so you can reason about how
01:18:23.960 you do your society.
01:18:26.020 And the first manifestation of that, uh,
01:18:28.920 scriptural biblical wisdom is right here.
01:18:32.120 And her name is morality.
01:18:35.340 Morality is holding the 10 commandments in
01:18:37.580 her left hand and the scroll of revelation
01:18:39.820 in her right hand.
01:18:40.780 But they didn't believe Megan that morality
01:18:43.220 was an external standard imposed by a
01:18:46.520 king or the government.
01:18:47.540 It began with an internal transformation
01:18:50.140 of the heart through the, the gospel.
01:18:53.280 And I know that because under her chair
01:18:55.540 on the left, it says evangelist, the
01:18:58.540 gospel would be preached.
01:18:59.960 A person would turn to God because they
01:19:02.800 recognize God's love for them.
01:19:04.460 It would change their heart on the inside
01:19:06.480 and they wanted to be good.
01:19:08.540 And then you had the external standard
01:19:10.120 written in the word of God so that they
01:19:12.360 never got confused about it and exchanged
01:19:15.020 evil for good and good for evil.
01:19:16.540 That then becomes the moral foundation
01:19:18.740 for your laws.
01:19:20.900 And there's the man of law, the judge
01:19:22.800 seated in the judge's chair, holding
01:19:24.780 the book of law in his hand.
01:19:26.680 And if you notice the book of law in the
01:19:28.780 judge's hand is directly beneath the book
01:19:30.700 of law in faith hand, indicating that God's
01:19:34.160 man's laws must line up under God's laws
01:19:36.900 or they're not good laws.
01:19:38.360 And he's balanced by justice on his right
01:19:40.760 and mercy on his left, because God is both
01:19:44.660 just and merciful.
01:19:46.780 Once you've restrained evil in your society,
01:19:49.580 now you can do the sacred duty of educating
01:19:53.400 your children.
01:19:54.240 You've got to pass this on to the next generation.
01:19:56.740 And there is a woman.
01:19:58.320 Notice this is not a government official.
01:20:00.320 This is likely a parent, a mom, who's holding the book
01:20:03.400 of knowledge in her hand, which is the ancient
01:20:05.900 scriptures.
01:20:06.440 She has a wreath of victory around her head
01:20:09.140 and she's training up her children in the way
01:20:11.680 they should go.
01:20:12.560 Right here it says youth.
01:20:14.400 And on the other side is an old man named wisdom.
01:20:17.740 They believed if you trained your kids to the third
01:20:19.920 and fourth generation that you would produce the
01:20:26.340 desired result, which is not only wisdom, but liberty.
01:20:31.720 And there is the liberty man seated in his chair.
01:20:36.080 He's dressed in the full armor of God, faith,
01:20:40.340 the word of God, salvation, truth, peace,
01:20:44.840 all of these things.
01:20:45.860 And he's overthrown tyranny.
01:20:47.680 He's free inside from the snakes in his head
01:20:51.580 and the demons in his heart, all those deadly sins
01:20:53.980 we talked about.
01:20:54.760 And he's free externally from the power of tyrants
01:20:57.200 and bad governments.
01:20:58.180 And he's ready to defend everything behind him
01:21:01.080 because it's precious to him.
01:21:03.040 And his wife is right here on his left.
01:21:05.500 And her name is Peace.
01:21:06.820 And she's prospering at peace,
01:21:09.540 generous to take care of not only her family,
01:21:12.080 but other people who need her help.
01:21:15.620 How many of you who are watching this think we should
01:21:18.420 get back to these values in the United States of America?
01:21:21.020 This is the straight stick that can show us the crookedness
01:21:25.820 of a weird and woke culture that is not progressive at all.
01:21:30.260 It's actually regressive, going back to the way the world was
01:21:34.520 before these principles flourished in America.
01:21:39.060 That was beautiful.
01:21:41.040 After this break, we're going to talk about you and your wife
01:21:44.140 as the straight stick in comparison to Mayor Bill de Blasio
01:21:48.140 and his wife and what's happening there
01:21:51.480 with just a desecration of what's supposed to be
01:21:53.940 a holy, beautiful union that, of course,
01:21:56.220 is being celebrated by The New York Times and others.
01:21:58.880 The one and only Kirk Cameron.
01:22:00.460 He didn't wear his naked shoulders and suspenders
01:22:03.280 on the program today, but he is bringing a lot of beauty
01:22:06.140 to the show with his words.
01:22:08.380 Stand by for more.
01:22:12.180 Before we get to the weird marriage of Mayor Bill de Blasio,
01:22:15.660 I've got to talk to you about Hunter Biden
01:22:18.060 and this love child, Navy, who he had with a woman
01:22:23.760 out of wedlock.
01:22:25.780 She had the baby and she has had to pursue him
01:22:28.800 for four years to acknowledge his parental responsibilities
01:22:31.360 just in terms of finances.
01:22:34.380 You know, we've been talking a lot about the amount
01:22:35.880 of money he made thanks to Ukraine connections
01:22:38.400 and China connections through his dad.
01:22:40.820 He apparently didn't want to use one cent of any of that
01:22:43.120 to support the child that he fathered.
01:22:46.080 And I use that term very loosely.
01:22:48.160 And so now he's been ordered to pay paternity
01:22:50.180 for this child.
01:22:51.320 He went into court to lower it from $20,000 a month
01:22:53.820 and they allowed him to do that.
01:22:55.500 But he's given the mother a few paintings of his
01:22:58.000 to try to sell to support this girl.
01:23:01.720 Meanwhile, this daughter is four years old.
01:23:03.800 She has never met Hunter Biden, her dad.
01:23:06.220 She has never met Joe Biden, her grandfather,
01:23:08.760 though she knows that they are her father
01:23:11.420 and grandfather, respectively.
01:23:13.480 The White House, while touting Joe Biden's love
01:23:16.120 for his family every time we talk about
01:23:18.440 the Hunter Biden drug story,
01:23:20.360 is under strict orders never to refer to this child
01:23:23.540 and to say he only has six grandchildren, not seven.
01:23:26.720 The White House staffers have reportedly been briefed on that.
01:23:29.160 They're not allowed to bring her up.
01:23:30.780 Hunter won't acknowledge her.
01:23:32.260 What do you make of it?
01:23:32.920 Wow, I think of the character quality here
01:23:38.060 that we see that's lacking,
01:23:40.360 and that is honesty, transparency.
01:23:43.820 We want that from our president.
01:23:45.420 We want that from anyone who's representing us
01:23:47.720 in powerful places.
01:23:49.520 And this is a subject that I feel very personally connected to
01:23:53.480 when we're talking about children
01:23:55.520 that are the result of unplanned pregnancies
01:23:58.220 in very difficult and perhaps embarrassing circumstances.
01:24:03.640 My wife and I have six kids, as we talked about.
01:24:05.900 Four of our children are adopted,
01:24:07.420 and a couple of my children have had the opportunity
01:24:10.120 to actually make contact with their birth parents.
01:24:14.000 And this is after decades,
01:24:17.000 and they finally met them and found out stories.
01:24:20.120 And these are difficult circumstances
01:24:22.980 and stories for them to hear.
01:24:25.200 But that child is precious.
01:24:28.400 That little child is my daughter, is my son.
01:24:31.260 I would never deny them or act like they don't exist.
01:24:34.980 In fact, I'm choosing as their dad to embrace them
01:24:38.560 and all the difficult circumstances and say,
01:24:41.460 you know what?
01:24:42.900 Your life is part of a great big story,
01:24:45.420 and you play a really important role in that.
01:24:48.560 And God's got great plans for you.
01:24:50.080 So that's what I want to see,
01:24:52.000 is I want to see people take responsibility
01:24:54.740 for not only their actions,
01:24:57.320 but wrap their arms around their entire family
01:24:59.700 and not push people to the margins
01:25:01.920 and act like they don't exist.
01:25:03.580 That's such a good point.
01:25:04.820 Is it so hard?
01:25:05.960 He made a mistake.
01:25:07.060 You know, he obviously had unprotected sex
01:25:08.920 with a woman, not his wife.
01:25:11.000 And a baby was produced, and she chose to have it.
01:25:13.760 She's here now.
01:25:14.620 You know, whatever he wanted,
01:25:16.200 whatever he regrets, she's here now.
01:25:18.840 And though he may not want to go down
01:25:21.080 and marry this woman,
01:25:22.540 he could play an active role in this little girl's life.
01:25:25.180 He could acknowledge her.
01:25:26.520 He could give her some love, some visitation,
01:25:29.600 some sort of acknowledgement,
01:25:31.080 but neither he nor his dad will.
01:25:33.120 And I just feel sad for her.
01:25:34.540 I just feel sad she knows.
01:25:36.380 And every time she has to hear Joe Biden
01:25:38.000 talk about his six grandkids, his six grandkids,
01:25:40.140 you know, it's not like most kids
01:25:41.740 who may find themselves in this position.
01:25:43.860 He's president of the United States, right?
01:25:46.020 She's got to see her grandpa
01:25:47.380 and will have to for the next
01:25:49.400 whatever number of years.
01:25:50.860 The whole thing's just sad.
01:25:53.600 Yeah, yeah.
01:25:54.680 And, you know, that's where faith in God is so,
01:25:58.460 it's such a guiding light
01:25:59.800 and such a support and a comfort.
01:26:03.080 Sometimes what other people mean for evil,
01:26:04.980 God can use for good.
01:26:06.620 And sometimes he can take the things that he hates
01:26:08.640 and use them to accomplish the things that he loves.
01:26:11.260 And I've seen that happen in my own family.
01:26:14.540 And I think that it could happen
01:26:16.040 and that it's never too late to decide to do the right thing.
01:26:21.120 Or maybe it'll go a different way.
01:26:22.760 Maybe God will use this little girl
01:26:24.700 to accomplish something amazing
01:26:26.120 because of this experience
01:26:29.700 and whatever it's creating inside of her.
01:26:31.860 You know, maybe it will inspire her
01:26:33.000 to do something great in her life.
01:26:35.080 That's what we can pray for.
01:26:36.760 Yeah.
01:26:37.540 On a separate but not totally unrelated note,
01:26:39.960 we've got to talk about Bill de Blasio.
01:26:41.540 So, I mean, I lived in New York
01:26:43.560 for this guy's entire term as mayor, both of them.
01:26:47.480 And he ruined New York.
01:26:48.940 We could go down the list of the number of ways
01:26:50.620 in which he ruined New York.
01:26:52.120 One of the main ways
01:26:53.100 was he created these weird incentives
01:26:55.140 that allowed the huge megastores to prosper,
01:27:00.020 like the big CVS chains and Starbucks chains
01:27:03.340 and big Citibank chains to prosper
01:27:06.280 and edging out the mom and pop shops
01:27:09.240 that made New York, New York.
01:27:11.060 You know, the corner delis,
01:27:12.280 the corner pharmacies owned by, you know,
01:27:13.860 the guy whose name you know.
01:27:15.320 And the streets of New York
01:27:16.760 changed dramatically as a result.
01:27:18.440 And then that's not even to touch on
01:27:19.800 the homelessness, the drugs,
01:27:21.100 and then ultimately the defunding of the police
01:27:24.120 and the demoralization of the police,
01:27:26.660 which changed the streets of New York.
01:27:28.600 So you would think that even the New York Times,
01:27:31.700 which fully understands what he did to Manhattan
01:27:33.920 and the five boroughs entirely,
01:27:36.580 would be a little skeptical
01:27:37.620 of giving this guy a fawning profile.
01:27:40.020 But that's what they did
01:27:41.900 because what he was trying to say was,
01:27:44.860 I have this quirky marriage
01:27:45.940 and we're so cool and progressive
01:27:47.680 that we want to celebrate
01:27:49.660 a different way of doing marriage,
01:27:51.060 which is to have an open marriage, I guess,
01:27:53.960 where you're no longer faithful to one another.
01:27:56.320 Nobody moves out of the marital home,
01:27:59.000 but you start dating other people.
01:28:02.340 The way they ended the piece
01:28:04.700 was with de Blasio quoting
01:28:06.660 two favorite phrases of his wife's.
01:28:10.080 Labels put people in boxes
01:28:12.180 and those boxes are shaped like coffins.
01:28:15.460 Another one, quote,
01:28:16.480 I never want to be stuck.
01:28:18.420 And another one prized by de Blasio's brother,
01:28:21.520 who's a Tibetan Buddhist, quote,
01:28:23.220 avoid attachments.
01:28:25.860 That was written into your vows to Chelsea,
01:28:28.560 was it not?
01:28:29.220 Avoid attachments.
01:28:31.540 And I never want to be stuck.
01:28:35.320 Yeah.
01:28:36.760 Yeah, this is where we're heading.
01:28:39.180 You know,
01:28:39.660 I found that in the world,
01:28:42.200 there's at least two groups of people
01:28:44.640 when I'm looking for answers to problems.
01:28:47.200 There's the reporters
01:28:48.140 and there's the reformers.
01:28:49.620 There are those who sit back
01:28:52.380 and sort of report and comment
01:28:54.600 on all the bad things that are happening.
01:28:57.420 And after a while,
01:28:58.180 I stopped listening to them
01:28:59.240 because I'm already on board
01:29:00.900 that we've got a problem.
01:29:02.260 What I'm looking for is the solution.
01:29:04.220 And then I find that there are reformers
01:29:06.340 who actually want to bring about change.
01:29:08.420 The problem is
01:29:09.280 people like this are reformers
01:29:12.700 that are looking to reform things,
01:29:14.320 but they don't have the right standard
01:29:16.060 to reform too.
01:29:17.200 So if you don't know
01:29:19.840 what marriage really is,
01:29:21.580 that it's this sacred,
01:29:23.340 stole-fusing body
01:29:25.960 combining into one flesh relationship
01:29:30.900 that is to be honored
01:29:32.820 and it's excluding all others,
01:29:37.780 then you're going to reform marriage
01:29:40.480 in a way that actually deforms it.
01:29:42.820 And that's what we've been doing.
01:29:44.080 We've gotten rid of the straight stick
01:29:46.100 to reference my previous metaphor
01:29:48.700 and replaced it with a crooked stick
01:29:50.960 and now anything is acceptable.
01:29:53.040 That actually means
01:29:54.440 that you can't really attach truth
01:29:56.940 to reality anymore.
01:29:59.360 And what is false
01:30:01.140 and what is harmful or hurtful
01:30:04.100 or is going to produce shame
01:30:05.440 and guilt and pain
01:30:06.960 is actually being championed.
01:30:09.080 So at the end of the day,
01:30:13.180 I believe that we need to get back
01:30:16.340 to the real definitions
01:30:18.600 of sacred things
01:30:20.240 like children and family
01:30:22.240 and marriage and gender.
01:30:24.920 And I don't have to look too much further
01:30:27.220 than the words of an ancient Jewish carpenter
01:30:32.120 named Jesus of Nazareth
01:30:33.400 who when he was asked
01:30:35.060 by the religious people of the day,
01:30:36.900 is it okay for a man to divorce his wife
01:30:39.140 for any reason at all?
01:30:40.740 Jesus held up the honor of this relationship
01:30:43.700 and he said,
01:30:44.620 you know, from the beginning,
01:30:45.880 it's been said that a man
01:30:47.320 shall leave his father and his mother.
01:30:49.960 He created mankind in male and female.
01:30:53.600 He will join together with his wife
01:30:55.120 and the two will become one flesh.
01:30:57.720 And right there,
01:30:58.780 we have the straight stick definition
01:31:01.480 of gender,
01:31:04.080 of marriage,
01:31:04.860 and sexuality.
01:31:06.660 And 4,000 years
01:31:08.220 of Judeo-Christian ethics
01:31:11.060 and definition of marriage and family
01:31:13.040 has produced
01:31:14.400 the very best results.
01:31:16.140 If we start tinkering with that,
01:31:17.820 we're going to be like
01:31:18.580 the mad scientist,
01:31:20.140 Dr. Frankenstein,
01:31:21.520 who creates a monster
01:31:23.040 and then you don't know
01:31:24.340 what to do with it.
01:31:25.940 And if that becomes the new normal
01:31:27.540 for marriage and family,
01:31:28.960 we can only imagine the chaos
01:31:31.780 that's going to come from it.
01:31:34.040 He had the gall
01:31:35.500 to tweet out the story
01:31:37.080 with the following phrase,
01:31:39.500 this is a love story.
01:31:42.480 It's not a love story.
01:31:44.180 It is nothing that I recognize as love.
01:31:46.940 If you marry someone
01:31:48.380 and, you know,
01:31:49.800 you have a troubled marriage
01:31:50.820 or you decide
01:31:51.480 after all your years together
01:31:52.540 you don't want to be with them,
01:31:53.660 I do believe in divorce.
01:31:54.800 I've had one,
01:31:55.980 although I'm guilted
01:31:57.720 over the fact that
01:31:58.220 I haven't yet had it an old
01:31:59.380 I've talked about on the show
01:32:00.400 many times.
01:32:01.060 I'm working on that.
01:32:02.040 But but I don't believe
01:32:05.360 in desecrating the institution
01:32:06.780 of marriage by staying in it
01:32:08.320 and still calling yourself marriage
01:32:10.020 and calling it a love story
01:32:11.580 while you invite another man
01:32:13.040 into your bed
01:32:13.780 in your marital home
01:32:15.100 as he walks past the pictures
01:32:17.200 of you and your family
01:32:18.340 on the way to your bedroom.
01:32:19.680 That's not normal
01:32:21.120 and I'm not going to support it.
01:32:22.800 Yeah, right.
01:32:26.620 Unless
01:32:27.220 unless
01:32:29.300 you're trouncing
01:32:30.720 on your husband's
01:32:32.720 desires
01:32:34.320 that he feels
01:32:35.700 most comfortable with
01:32:36.720 and now
01:32:37.220 now
01:32:38.140 now
01:32:38.680 you are
01:32:39.760 the one
01:32:40.280 who's discriminating
01:32:41.280 against
01:32:42.060 somebody who prefers
01:32:43.440 an open relationship.
01:32:44.320 So, right,
01:32:45.080 it really comes down to
01:32:46.260 what's good
01:32:47.160 what's right
01:32:48.280 what's true
01:32:49.160 what's honoring
01:32:50.140 are there any things
01:32:51.700 that are sacred
01:32:52.400 and and by what definition
01:32:54.960 and so
01:32:56.200 that's what I think
01:32:57.120 we need to decide
01:32:58.080 as a society
01:32:59.280 what are we going to come back to
01:33:00.880 he says in the piece
01:33:02.540 first of all
01:33:03.100 she was an out lesbian
01:33:04.420 when they got married
01:33:05.300 so this is a
01:33:06.260 like don't marry a lesbian
01:33:07.620 if you're a man
01:33:08.600 okay
01:33:08.940 this is
01:33:10.080 so there was
01:33:10.980 there was
01:33:11.480 there was
01:33:11.980 there was a clue
01:33:12.740 right
01:33:13.900 just like
01:33:14.460 you don't have to be
01:33:15.560 a relationship
01:33:16.220 like Dr. Phil
01:33:17.000 to know
01:33:18.440 that it's a no
01:33:20.040 then
01:33:21.780 second of all
01:33:22.720 there's an interesting quote
01:33:23.560 in here where he says
01:33:24.200 I should have said more to her
01:33:25.480 are you happy
01:33:26.740 what will make you happy
01:33:28.240 what's missing in your life
01:33:30.100 and honestly
01:33:30.880 I wonder what you think
01:33:31.560 about this Kurt
01:33:31.980 because my first reaction
01:33:32.800 was
01:33:33.460 no
01:33:34.260 that's actually not
01:33:35.200 the job of a spouse
01:33:36.140 that's
01:33:36.500 that's our own jobs
01:33:37.480 for ourselves
01:33:38.240 to ask ourselves
01:33:39.500 to figure out for ourselves
01:33:40.520 what will make us happy
01:33:41.420 what's missing in our lives
01:33:42.520 and to work on
01:33:43.600 unfilling that
01:33:44.880 with our
01:33:45.720 by ourselves
01:33:46.640 your relationship
01:33:47.620 to your partner
01:33:48.380 it's not their
01:33:49.660 quote
01:33:50.040 to make you happy
01:33:51.000 it's their
01:33:51.680 your partners
01:33:52.560 you go through life together
01:33:53.620 you
01:33:53.960 you're thinking
01:33:55.040 all day about
01:33:55.960 what you can do
01:33:57.240 that's going to lift up
01:33:58.780 yourself
01:33:59.320 and lift up your family
01:34:00.400 but it's not about
01:34:01.160 going to the other person
01:34:02.040 and saying
01:34:02.380 what's missing in your life
01:34:03.520 I will fill it
01:34:04.380 I will fix it
01:34:05.300 yeah
01:34:06.580 I think you're right
01:34:07.840 and I've been married
01:34:08.920 for 32 years
01:34:09.980 and so
01:34:10.640 I
01:34:12.300 I've found
01:34:13.580 and I've learned
01:34:14.420 through
01:34:15.220 a school of hard knocks
01:34:16.860 and trial and error
01:34:17.680 that
01:34:18.680 man
01:34:19.420 if I
01:34:19.640 if I focus
01:34:20.660 on
01:34:21.360 my spouse
01:34:22.660 making me happy
01:34:24.060 that's
01:34:26.060 that's a losing
01:34:28.860 strategy
01:34:29.740 because I think
01:34:31.200 you know
01:34:31.720 who makes you happy
01:34:32.640 God
01:34:35.300 is the one
01:34:36.200 who fills
01:34:36.960 the deepest
01:34:37.580 desires
01:34:38.180 of your heart
01:34:39.160 and
01:34:39.920 and
01:34:40.240 and that happens
01:34:41.420 when we start
01:34:42.340 with gratitude
01:34:43.380 and we say
01:34:44.680 wow
01:34:45.420 I'm breathing
01:34:46.580 I'm alive
01:34:47.540 on planet earth
01:34:48.520 and for some of us
01:34:49.820 I'm alive
01:34:50.660 on the greatest country
01:34:51.740 in the world
01:34:52.560 during a time
01:34:53.700 where I can make
01:34:54.420 a real difference
01:34:55.260 against the forces
01:34:56.080 of darkness
01:34:56.720 and if I'm
01:34:57.760 so fortunate
01:34:58.820 to be married
01:34:59.620 wow
01:35:00.740 I want to
01:35:02.260 serve you
01:35:03.000 not
01:35:03.380 not to make you happy
01:35:04.860 but because
01:35:05.680 I want to do that
01:35:06.840 in order to
01:35:07.600 to demonstrate
01:35:08.580 to God
01:35:09.200 that I'm grateful
01:35:09.980 for you
01:35:10.540 because
01:35:11.080 you're a treasure
01:35:12.160 in my life
01:35:12.880 and
01:35:13.620 I've got everything
01:35:14.600 I need
01:35:15.280 when I look
01:35:16.420 to the one
01:35:16.980 who made me
01:35:17.800 he's my help
01:35:18.880 and I
01:35:19.840 am asking him
01:35:20.780 to show me
01:35:21.160 how to be a good
01:35:21.720 spouse to you
01:35:22.520 because
01:35:23.280 he's been so good
01:35:25.780 to me
01:35:26.120 that's how I look
01:35:27.420 at marriage
01:35:27.800 that's
01:35:28.120 that's what
01:35:28.860 what I've learned
01:35:29.700 and and then
01:35:30.400 then everything
01:35:31.260 is a blessing
01:35:31.820 even the struggles
01:35:32.600 even the difficult
01:35:33.180 things
01:35:33.540 and you know
01:35:35.200 for those who
01:35:36.420 have gone
01:35:37.620 through a divorce
01:35:38.500 I think divorce
01:35:40.100 is a
01:35:40.720 is
01:35:41.140 is a sweet
01:35:42.780 welcomed
01:35:43.440 rescue
01:35:45.740 from
01:35:46.780 abusive relationships
01:35:48.960 dangerous relationships
01:35:50.480 relationships
01:35:51.220 that
01:35:52.180 have been
01:35:52.860 broken by
01:35:53.420 people's
01:35:53.880 unfaithfulness
01:35:54.520 and
01:35:55.440 and I think
01:35:56.460 there's no
01:35:56.780 there's no
01:35:57.220 judgment there
01:35:57.880 but I love
01:35:58.680 that you said
01:35:59.180 we want to
01:35:59.640 honor what
01:36:00.180 marriage is
01:36:00.840 what it can be
01:36:01.760 because it's
01:36:02.580 really a beautiful
01:36:03.240 thing
01:36:03.640 yeah
01:36:04.600 and you know
01:36:05.540 they say that
01:36:06.380 they're
01:36:06.600 they're going
01:36:07.000 to stay
01:36:07.260 together
01:36:07.660 but they
01:36:08.300 just don't
01:36:08.720 need to
01:36:09.120 possess each
01:36:09.720 other
01:36:09.960 this is
01:36:10.800 going to
01:36:11.120 fail
01:36:11.360 I'm on
01:36:12.000 record
01:36:12.280 this will
01:36:12.900 fail
01:36:13.220 they will
01:36:13.600 wind up
01:36:13.960 divorced
01:36:14.300 this is
01:36:14.860 not
01:36:15.060 sustainable
01:36:15.520 look to
01:36:16.500 what
01:36:16.760 Kirk and
01:36:17.280 Chelsea
01:36:17.520 have done
01:36:17.960 that's a
01:36:18.460 much better
01:36:19.060 straight stick
01:36:19.980 Kirk Cameron
01:36:21.200 all the best

01:36:35.900 no it's
01:36:44.560 no, no

01:36:48.920 no
01:36:49.180 no
01:36:49.240 no
