00:57:02.660 He'll heal, heal, love unity.

00:57:04.540 You know, don't you feel it?

00:57:05.460 But then we get the announcement that

00:57:07.440 they are literally creating blacklists.

00:57:11.320 And not just for people who worked in

00:57:13.100 the Trump administration, which would be

00:57:14.700 bad enough, but for anyone who supported

00:57:18.000 him.

00:57:18.340 Let me read you a little bit from this

00:57:20.040 Trump accountability group that is

00:57:22.500 coming after all of his supporters.

00:57:25.000 First, they start out by saying, we

00:57:27.340 should welcome, we should welcome our

00:57:29.320 fellow Americans with whom we differ

00:57:31.720 politically.

00:57:32.740 Ah, lovely little violins playing.

00:57:35.500 Then it goes on.

00:57:36.620 But we should not allow the following

00:57:39.140 groups of people to profit from their

00:57:41.040 experience.

00:57:41.860 And the category, the first category is

00:57:44.300 those who elected him.

00:57:47.340 So half the country should be punished.

00:57:52.440 And they say explicitly, you know, they

00:57:55.860 don't, they want them on a list.

00:57:58.200 And one of the guys in this group came

00:58:00.460 out and got specific and said a warning,

00:58:03.700 signing anyone who led a campaign to

00:58:06.920 get Americans to hate each other, i.e.

00:59:24.820 read Pravda, the Soviet communist

00:59:26.380 newspaper, which I read every day.

00:59:27.980 And I, I, I want to tell you something,

00:59:32.740 Megan, that I, I learned only in the last

00:59:36.400 few years, and I really thought I knew a

00:59:40.580 lot about totalitarianism.

00:59:42.100 I believe that the press can brainwash

00:59:46.860 people only in a totalitarian state.

00:59:49.920 And I have learned in the sad, I've come to

00:59:55.480 the sad realization that the press can

00:59:59.000 brainwash people in a free country.

01:00:29.040 them, I think are horrified at what this

01:00:30.860 far left is trying to do to our country, but

01:00:33.780 they're afraid too.

01:00:36.500 that they're going to be called bigots and

01:00:38.500 awful if they speak up about what's

01:00:40.800 happening in our universities and in media.

01:00:44.040 You know, you've pointed out in our, in

01:00:46.540 music and art, like it goes on the list of

01:00:48.480 things that they are trying to co-opt and

01:00:51.360 control is getting scary.

01:00:54.880 Well, that's right.

01:00:56.060 And the key problem is the liberal.

01:01:00.380 If the liberal understood that the left is

01:01:03.940 its enemy, not the right, America would have 0.89

01:01:08.360 a great reason, great, great reasons for

01:01:10.440 hope. The liberal believes that you and I,

01:01:15.340 that conservatives are their enemy, when in

01:01:19.060 fact the left is their enemy.

01:01:21.740 Liberals and conservatives share a love of

01:01:28.340 share a belief that capitalism is the only

01:01:41.160 except the, uh, extent of government, which

01:01:44.440 is fine. People can differ on that, but the

01:01:49.700 in all black dormitories. I was raised a

01:01:53.500 liberal Democrat. I was taught to believe in

01:01:55.460 racial integration. Only the Ku Klux Klan and 0.96

01:01:58.600 the left believe in all black dormitories. And

01:02:01.380 yet liberals vote for the left. That's the great

01:02:05.220 tragedy of American life today. The liberals

01:02:08.360 have wimped out in the battle for freedom.

01:02:11.080 Well, I'll tell you, I'm, I'm an independent. I

01:02:13.420 voted Democrat and I voted Republican throughout

01:02:15.560 the course of my life. I was actually laughing

01:02:17.360 because I was talking to my husband, Doug. I

01:02:18.980 voted in eight presidential elections, given

01:02:21.240 my age. And, um, I've been wrong in five of

01:02:24.340 them. I've picked the loser in five and I've

01:02:26.420 only gotten the winner in three, but I don't

01:02:28.440 care. I'm voting, you know, my conscience, but

01:02:30.940 even being an independent, and I certainly lean

01:02:33.120 more right than I do left. But I have plenty

01:02:34.920 of things that I'm, I'm toying with on the

01:02:36.580 center left that I, you know, I'm open-minded

01:02:37.980 to. That's not enough. Like you, I feel like a

01:02:42.100 far right person now, you know, it's like, I, it

01:02:45.360 seems like the other side is getting farther and

01:02:48.360 farther away and I can barely see them. I'm like,

01:02:50.760 come back, come back.

01:02:52.260 If you don't agree with them on one thing, you

01:02:54.720 are an enemy. That's why I called him the

01:02:58.360 American form of communism. Unfortunately, most

01:03:04.440 people having gone to college have not learned 0.98

01:03:06.600 much of history, but Stalin, the great mass 0.85

01:03:10.220 murderer of the Soviet Union, called Trotsky, the

01:03:13.880 man who founded the Red Army. He and Lenin were

01:03:17.240 the founders of communism in Russia. And, uh, he

01:03:22.360 called Trotsky a fascist because he opposed

01:03:26.000 Stalin. So, uh, this is very old. Uh, there's a 0.98

01:03:31.780 great biblical verse. The left is a land that

01:03:36.040 eats its own inhabitants. It's a, it's a

01:03:39.540 statement of a land that eats its own

01:03:41.680 inhabitants in the Bible. And it's a great 0.79

01:03:43.500 line. And that's what the left does. People

01:03:45.820 think they'll go along, but then they vary in

01:03:48.520 one way and they will be shut down. This, um,

01:03:53.180 freedom in the U S has never been threatened

01:03:56.520 freedom of speech. Never. This is the first

01:04:00.800 attack on, on a freedom of speech in American

01:04:04.580 history. And it is all coming from the left

01:04:08.560 because the left never allows dissent. Never.

01:04:11.860 There was no exception from Lenin, uh, to the

01:04:15.580 university in the United States. They do not 0.86

01:04:18.620 allow dissent. Well, this is what we saw

01:04:21.460 in. Yeah, sorry. Go ahead. I just want to

01:04:24.600 say this. If, if Joe Biden is serious about

01:04:26.800 unity, uh, I will cheer for him in front of

01:04:30.180 the white house. If he says it is time for

01:04:33.180 the tech companies to allow all voices, then

01:04:36.740 I'll know he's serious. Good point. I mean,

01:04:40.840 this is, this is one of the themes of no safe

01:04:42.680 spaces, which I've mentioned on the show

01:04:44.220 before it's a film about you and Adam Carolla

01:04:47.560 going from college campus to college campus to

01:04:49.980 encourage students to not run to safe spaces,

01:04:52.860 which are totally inaptly named. Um, and, you

01:04:57.640 know, to sort of get out of their comfort zone and

01:04:59.560 listen to ideas that might offend or intrigue or

01:05:02.600 be contrarian to their own beliefs. And along the

01:05:05.620 way you encounter a lot of stories that underscore

01:05:08.240 just how divided we are and how people are getting

01:05:11.380 their own words shoved down their throat that

01:05:13.760 should be completely non-controversial. And I, I

01:05:16.600 told this to Adam Carolla when he was here and

01:05:19.360 I'll tell it to you too. I, I saw a screening of

01:05:21.380 it by Mark Joseph. He's the director and the guy

01:05:24.840 who produced it. And I cried, I sat in my seat

01:05:29.520 and I cried. I had tears running down my face as I

01:05:32.820 watched it because of what's happened to our

01:05:36.120 country and how we bully one another. I mean, I, I

01:05:40.800 have to be honest, it's not that it's, it's

01:05:42.780 these leftists who are bullying people into

01:05:46.280 submission on thought and even their own, you

01:05:51.220 know, that's how Brett Weinstein became a

01:05:53.360 household name or, you know, at least for people

01:05:55.700 who are political. A land that eats its

01:05:57.780 inhabitants. Yeah. He's a, he's a leftist

01:06:00.020 professor from Evergreen, Evergreen College in

01:06:02.760 Washington State. Well, he's a liberal.

01:06:03.640 And he, right. And, and he got eaten alive. He

01:06:06.660 lost his job because he wasn't quite liberal

01:06:08.800 enough. Well, uh, I, I, I hope all of your

01:06:12.480 listeners watch the movie. The movie is

01:06:14.620 great. It's not great because I'm in it. I'm

01:06:16.760 in a great movie. I always tell people that

01:06:21.360 laugh at the, at it, but it is a wake-up call

01:06:45.160 father or their mother is a racist is

01:06:51.520 you are playing Russian roulette with your

01:06:53.660 child's values. If you send your child to

01:06:56.540 college and now high school, I'm not saying

01:06:58.760 the kids should not study. I, I, uh, you

01:07:01.640 know, my life is devoted to the life of the

01:07:04.700 mind, but, uh, the life of the mind is

01:07:08.120 crushed in high school and college. Now, uh,

01:07:11.420 people, it's a terrible dilemma for a

01:07:13.500 parent. And I think a lot of the, what,

01:07:16.860 what people may have to do, look, your kid,

01:07:19.660 I don't mean your kid, but maybe your kid,

01:07:22.280 any kid will be taught in almost any public

01:07:33.080 founding. It is now in 3000 schools. You

01:07:37.340 want your child to learn to hate this

01:07:39.000 country, send them to school.

01:07:45.180 and fifth grade, and the reports they come

01:07:55.440 revolution. And he came home and said, I

01:07:58.020 could name it was either nine or 12 slaves

01:08:00.600 who made a difference in the war. And he

01:08:02.920 could tell you exactly where and when they

01:08:04.480 did it and their names and so on. And I

01:08:05.740 said, that's, that's awesome. Did they

01:08:07.720 mention anything about George Washington? No.

01:08:12.880 And then just last week, my daughter came

01:08:15.120 home, they were talking about the election

01:08:16.400 and she said, um, well, my teacher said

01:08:19.840 that Donald Trump is mean and Joe Biden is

01:08:23.400 nice and that Democrats want to help people

01:08:27.200 who are hurting and Republicans don't. Okay. So

01:08:30.420 this is just very basic talk, right? For

01:08:32.600 nine-year-old girls, but you have to actively

01:08:35.960 counter program. And, and only because we've

01:08:38.840 been doing that to my kids, even know to

01:08:40.920 come home and report that stuff to me.

01:08:43.620 Otherwise, if you don't do that, it'll have

01:08:46.200 no flag on it for your kid and they'll just

01:08:48.440 accept it. Cause that's what kids do when

01:11:41.380 conservatives. They don't have much,

01:17:55.160 people need to fight. I have a saying, the

01:17:58.560 good people are divided into three groups.

01:18:03.500 fighters and those who do nothing. Those

01:18:06.440 who do nothing are the biggest of the

01:18:08.580 three groups. And those who help the

01:18:11.360 fighters are as valuable as those who

01:18:13.920 fight. I'm a fighter, but the people who

01:18:16.740 help me and help PragerU and so on, they

01:18:20.880 are just as valuable as, as my fighting, but

01:18:24.460 you get, you get one life. And, uh, I, I don't
