00:00:43.320 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly and welcome to this weekend special edition.
00:00:47.200 Today, I want to bring you an interview I did this past week with one of former President Donald Trump's sons,
00:00:53.660 Eric Trump, who runs the Trump Organization.
00:00:55.640 It was his first time ever on the show and in the wake of the second assassination attempt on his father's life,
00:01:02.580 yes, the second, we talked about all the disturbing angles.
00:01:06.780 Where was Eric when he got the news and how he wound up watching the arrest of the would-be assassin?
00:01:13.020 He also opened up about what it was like for his young children.
00:01:16.320 He's got little ones and this is their grandpa when they witnessed the first assassination attempt
00:01:22.000 while actually watching the rally.
00:01:23.780 We are back tomorrow with Vivek Ramaswamy and also Batcha Ungar Sargon.
00:01:29.240 Hope you join us.

00:02:03.240 Eric, welcome to the show.
00:02:04.680 So sorry about what happened to your dad.
00:02:07.080 How's he doing today?
00:02:08.500 He's doing well.
00:02:09.180 The guy's incredibly strong.
00:02:10.260 I mean, you've known him forever, right?
00:02:11.340 He's a warrior.
00:02:13.340 I spoke to him immediately after it happened.
00:02:14.940 I was one of the first people I knew and, you know, he was in okay spirits.
00:02:18.460 But, you know, honestly, I'm almost not, right?
00:02:21.020 I'm sick and tired of seeing, you know, people try and take his lives.
00:02:24.200 It's this, you know, second time in five weeks that this has been allowed to happen.
00:02:28.400 Butler was an utter failure.
00:02:30.220 You've done, I think, a better job probably, Megan, than anybody I'm reporting on that.
00:02:33.220 It should never happen.
00:02:33.900 And, I mean, what happened there is just, it's a breakdown of government in the worst
00:02:37.880 possible ways.
00:02:39.280 And then, obviously, you see what happened yesterday.
00:02:41.560 And yesterday was ultimately a success, right?
00:02:43.760 They got the guy ahead of time.
00:02:44.820 They, you know, found out where he was.
00:02:46.500 And, you know, they saved somebody from utter catastrophe.
00:02:50.520 But this has to stop.
00:02:52.120 This has to stop.
00:02:53.680 We can't allow people with, you know, AR-15s, with AK-47s within 300 yards of the president.
00:03:01.860 It has to stop.
00:03:03.220 We have to do a better job.
00:03:05.720 You know, there's only so many kind of, you know, proverbial lives that you have before,
00:03:11.340 guess what?
00:03:11.580 You don't get so lucky.
00:03:12.780 He got incredibly lucky.
00:03:14.240 And Faith was definitely with him, you know, five weeks ago.
00:03:18.320 But it's only so many times you get lucky.
00:03:20.460 And this isn't funny anymore.
00:03:21.820 I mean, I just want everybody to understand they are trying to kill him, Megan.
00:03:24.840 They are trying to kill him.
00:03:27.040 And it's one of the things that drives me crazy when you see Kamala on the debate stage.
00:03:30.580 You know, this man's a threat to democracy.
00:03:32.040 It's, you know, there's only one person that they're going after.
00:03:34.580 And they're going after him viciously.
00:03:36.040 And they've gone after him in every single way.
00:03:37.800 They've gone after him illegally.
00:03:38.960 They tried to impeach him.
00:03:39.980 They tried to take him off the ballot in states.
00:03:42.460 They tried to take him off the ballot in Colorado and Maine.
00:03:45.580 They've gone after his family.
00:03:46.980 They've gone after all of us thousands of times.
00:03:48.980 You know, Megan, I'm probably the most subpoenaed person in the history of the country.
00:03:51.260 And I've never done a damn thing wrong.
00:03:53.440 They've done everything they could.
00:03:55.420 They've weaponized, you know, the judicial system, DAs, AGs.
00:03:59.840 They've gone after him civilly.
00:04:02.020 And now twice in five weeks, as we approach 50 days away from election day, they've tried to kill him.
00:04:08.860 And they will stop at absolutely nothing.
00:04:11.340 They are trying to kill him, Megan.
00:04:12.680 And it's deeply scary.
00:04:14.160 And, you know, we government better do a good job protecting him.
00:04:19.280 And, you know, sometimes I worry that they're not.
00:04:22.420 Yeah, I'm understandably and for good reason.
00:04:24.960 May I ask, how did you find out the news yesterday?
00:04:27.860 Yeah, I did hear a friend who was actually in the sheriff's department who ended up calling me because, you know, obviously went across the radio.
00:04:34.540 So, you know, as soon as shots were fired, he called me saying, hey, you know, you might want to figure out what the hell is going on.
00:04:39.140 It looks like they just tried this for a second time.
00:04:41.020 And so, obviously, I got on the phone and they were taking him off the course.
00:04:45.820 And that's how I found out.
00:04:47.520 But it's, you know, coincidentally, I was driving south on 95.
00:04:51.000 I actually took a personal video of the guy being arrested at the time.
00:04:54.240 I mean, it's interesting how small the world can be at times.
00:04:57.840 But I'm driving south on 95.
00:04:59.260 The police chase was going north on 95.
00:05:01.200 And literally, I drive by all the helicopters and all the squad cars that are arresting the very man that, you know, 15 minutes before I tried to shoot my father.
00:05:08.880 It's interesting how the world works.
00:05:11.280 But it's a thank God they got him.
00:05:13.260 And now apparently he's in federal court laughing in front of the judge.
00:05:16.100 So, you know, that's the type of person that we're dealing with.
00:05:19.300 The reaction from the left last night, at least on the media, has been there was an incident.
00:05:25.440 That's what NBC reported.
00:05:26.600 There was an incident at Trump's golf course.
00:05:29.200 And, oh, by the way, let's get back to cats and dogs in Springfield, Illinois, or Springfield, Ohio, and Trump's irresponsible rhetoric.
00:05:37.620 Did you see any of that in your reaction?
00:05:39.480 Yeah, that's part of the course for the media.
00:05:40.880 I mean, we've obviously found out based on this whistleblower came forward with a signed affidavit that ABC gave the questions to Kamala Harris.
00:05:48.340 I'd like to know where Bob Iger is on this whole thing.
00:05:50.680 I mean, you want to talk about disgusting.
00:05:51.900 And, you know, that's part of the course for the media.
00:05:54.760 You know, they may as well be, you know, the PR arm of the Democratic Party.
00:06:00.000 You know, 100% of their coverage toward her is positive, despite the fact that she's the worst vice president in the history of this country, bar none.
00:06:06.180 It's not even close.
00:06:07.660 And despite the, you know, the record my father had, you know, they're 100% negative against him.
00:06:11.540 And it's an absolute joke.
00:06:13.260 Of course they won.
00:06:14.020 And you see all these reports in the vicinity, you know, shots were fired in the vicinity.
00:06:17.640 All right, well, let me just break this down because I know this property better than any person on Earth, maybe other than my father.
00:06:23.640 I run these properties.
00:06:25.300 You had a person who ran across a median, who ran across a massive lawn into, you know, massive palmetto bushes, effectively, was staged up against a fence 200 yards away from where my father was.
00:06:38.340 He was on the fifth screen.
00:06:39.740 He was about to come down the sixth hole.
00:06:41.060 This guy was in the middle of the sixth hole with body armor, GoPros, and an AK-47 on a fence line.
00:06:47.520 Thank God the Secret Service saw him.
00:06:49.140 And, you know, and then it's, yes, a shooting in the vicinity of the president.
00:06:52.720 I mean, they use every word that they possibly can to dumb down what this person was trying to do, which was to kill the 45th president of the United States, to extinguish him from this Earth.
00:07:04.160 But that's part of the course.
00:07:05.360 They don't want that story out there, right?
00:07:06.840 They don't want this headline.
00:07:08.640 They want to do everything they can to bolster Kamala's, you know, campaign, which is not much of a campaign because, again, she's just a horrible candidate.
00:07:19.120 But, you know, there was a meme going around, Megan, that the Will Smith slap literally lasted longer than the coverage of Butler, Pennsylvania.
00:07:28.820 And I think that's fairly accurate.
00:07:30.060 And that's the media in this country today.
00:07:32.180 Mm-hmm.
00:07:33.500 I mean, the thing that struck me yesterday was your dad has a few pastimes.
00:07:38.100 He doesn't drink.
00:07:39.260 He doesn't smoke.
00:07:40.480 So what does he do to burn off stress?
00:07:42.920 And there must be a lot of it on him.
00:07:44.680 He plays golf, which is a good thing to do.
00:07:46.720 And now even that has been hampered by this would-be assassin.
00:07:51.920 I mean, now your dad's not going to be the same when he gets out.
00:07:53.940 He's going to have to worry about whether somebody's trying to take his life.
00:07:57.280 Is that, in your view, a Secret Service failure, an intelligence failure, a rhetoric failure by people who say he's Hitler?
00:08:05.900 What do you think?
00:08:07.180 What are you blaming today?
00:08:09.480 You know, it's a question that pains me in the answer.
00:08:11.760 And there's really two sides of it, Megan.
00:08:13.940 The agents, and I know them.
00:08:15.100 I know all the ones that were on the stage in Butler, Pennsylvania, and they did an awesome job.
00:08:18.940 The ones on that stage did an awesome job.
00:08:20.720 I mean, they would take a bullet for him, and there were ones on that stage who were with me for three years.
00:08:24.320 I know them personally.
00:08:25.040 They're personal friends of mine, right?
00:08:27.220 There were people that were out there with him yesterday, and they did a phenomenal job.
00:08:30.280 They got him off that course so quickly.
00:08:31.860 I mean, as the first shot went out, they were pulling him off, and they did a hell of a job.
00:08:36.700 But somebody's got to ask the question, what the hell is happening in the perimeter?
00:08:39.180 I mean, what's happening in the perimeter?
00:08:40.800 I mean, frankly, if I was an agent, I'd be screaming from the rooftops, right?
00:08:44.080 You're putting great agents who are doing phenomenal jobs and have acted perfectly in that situation.
00:08:49.760 But yet something is failing on the outskirts where you've had somebody with a rifle in Butler, Pennsylvania, 130 yards.
00:08:56.540 Somebody died, and he got hit in a year.
00:08:58.720 In this case, you know, 200 to 300 yards away with an AK-47 propped up against a fence line.
00:09:04.640 There's only so much that body people can do, and clearly somebody on the outskirts is failing this mission because that should not happen.
00:09:11.880 And, you know, I hope to God somebody does a deep dive, and it hurts me to say that because, again,
00:09:16.560 the people who are around him are some of the greatest, finest people you'll ever meet in your entire life.
00:09:20.260 I know them.
00:09:20.860 I'm friends with them.
00:09:21.680 I've known them for years.
00:09:23.820 And they would take a bullet, and they, you know, would die for him.
00:09:26.740 And many of them, based on the incompetence, frankly, Megan, have almost.
00:09:30.340 I mean, they're in the line of fire.
00:09:32.220 And Butler, there's, you know, multiple shots that went out.
00:09:34.800 Any single one of them could have gotten killed.
00:09:37.220 What is going on with the perimeter that's supposed to be around our world leaders?
00:09:41.060 How can this possibly happen?
00:09:43.740 130 yards is a chip shot.
00:09:45.420 I did a lot of competitive shooting.
00:09:46.840 It's one of my, you know, favorite things in the world to do.
00:09:49.780 I mean, that's like making a four-inch putt.
00:09:51.780 300 yards with a modern-day rifle.
00:09:53.800 This is not a – ask any person who hunts deer.
00:09:56.840 Ask any person who's an outdoorsman.
00:09:58.600 300 yards with a modern-day rifle.
00:10:00.300 These are not hard shots.
00:10:02.120 And yet it's happened, you know, what, twice in the last five weeks?
00:10:04.980 You know, we better rethink our tactics.
00:10:07.720 And on every side, every person who is a political protectee in this country,
00:10:13.100 we better rethink our tactics.
00:10:14.280 Because whatever the hell we're doing right now, Megan, it's not working.
00:10:17.060 It's not working.
00:10:17.960 And there's not going to be too many more chances before somebody gets awfully lucky.
00:10:20.940 Because these aren't hard shots.
00:10:23.740 One word on that ABC affidavit to which you referred.
00:10:27.480 We're actually going to take a deep dive into that later in the show.
00:10:30.500 ABC hasn't responded to our requests on whether they want to deny any of these allegations.
00:10:34.560 Nor has Speaker Johnson hasn't weighed in.
00:10:36.980 Allegedly, he got the letter from this whistleblower.
00:10:39.580 But we are going to take a deep dive into whether, in fact,
00:10:42.340 there's reason to believe they cheated on that debate that they gave Kamala Harris.
00:10:45.440 I mean, explicitly unfair advantages, sample questions, and so on, just so the audience knows.
00:10:50.680 Can I ask you this?
00:10:51.480 Because right now, in the wake of the second attempt on your dad's life,
00:10:55.340 we have President Biden, Vice President Harris,
00:10:58.300 saying the right things about, you know, no one should be subjected to political violence.
00:11:03.260 And, you know, this is wrong.
00:11:05.300 And yet, there seemed to be absolutely no accountability,
00:11:07.860 nor was there any shift in tone from Kamala Harris, who's now the nominee,
00:11:11.200 after the first assassination attempt.
00:11:13.260 I mean, the rhetoric has been at a boiling point consistently from their side,
00:11:17.880 not just about politics and who should run the country,
00:11:21.040 but about how evil your dad is.
00:11:23.660 So do you accept their statements today that they're very sorry about what happened
00:11:27.740 and that really this should never happen?
00:11:29.280 No, I don't accept their statements, Megan, and not at all.
00:11:32.580 I mean, you know, before Butler, Pennsylvania, two days before,
00:11:35.500 Biden had a, you know, a truth or an ex-up saying that we should put the president
00:11:41.080 in the quote-unquote crosshairs.
00:11:42.720 I mean, you've done a better job than anybody going back.
00:11:45.160 I mean, look at Maxine Waters' comments.
00:11:46.640 Look at it, right?
00:11:47.500 You kick them when they're down.
00:11:48.740 You kick them again.
00:11:49.700 You hit them hard.
00:11:50.880 You hit them when they're down.
00:11:52.380 I mean, they are the most violent people in the world.
00:11:55.000 You know, the bullets are only going one way here, right?
00:11:57.580 When was the last time that—and it's insane.
00:12:01.420 They've called for violence so many times.
00:12:03.220 So, no, I don't believe the rhetoric at all.
00:12:05.780 You know, I mean, this is the same administration that wouldn't give RFK secret service protection
00:12:10.080 despite the fact that multiple people in his family—
00:12:12.280 despite the fact that he's a serious political candidate for a major party in the country,
00:12:17.180 but also despite the fact that several people in his family have been executed, right?
00:12:20.760 I mean, they've been taken out by assassins.
00:12:23.620 They refuse to give the guy—and my father was a guy who came out and said,
00:12:26.260 give this guy secret service protection.
00:12:28.560 You're going to get this man killed.
00:12:30.180 I don't think they give it to him, Megan, honestly, and it pains me to say that.
00:12:33.240 And so, yeah, you see some, you know, some post online that doesn't feel genuine at all,
00:12:39.340 that's written by some staffer saying the absolute bare minimum of what should be said.
00:12:43.740 And there was no accountability.
00:12:45.440 I mean, why didn't Biden get rid of the secret service director?
00:12:48.840 Why did she have to resign on her own after she gets up there and says,
00:12:52.440 the reason that they didn't have snipers on the roof in Butler, Pennsylvania,
00:12:55.280 is because the slope of the roof was too steep, right?
00:12:58.620 Everybody knew that was BS.
00:12:59.860 Everybody knew that was total nonsense.
00:13:01.980 It was the least steep roof of all of them.
00:13:03.840 In fact, the roofs that the snipers were on were exponentially more steep
00:13:07.220 than the roof that the, you know, would-be assassin tried to shoot my father from.
00:13:12.580 Yet, you know, this is the narrative, right?
00:13:15.280 And there's no accountability.
00:13:17.140 I mean, if I was Biden, I would have forced a resignation five minutes after this.
00:13:21.720 I mean, isn't that what happens when, you know, protectees start getting shot,
00:13:26.840 getting shot at when you have such big lapses?
00:13:29.760 But they never hold anybody accountable.
00:13:31.680 They didn't hold Millie accountable when you had the most disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, right?
00:13:36.260 I mean, why is it that this administration holds no one accountable for failure after failure?
00:13:42.320 I mean, what's that going to do that's just going to incentivize further failure?
00:13:45.280 That's never going to get you a good result.
00:13:47.280 People should know that they have responsibility, and they better take that responsibility seriously.
00:13:51.640 Otherwise, they're not going to be there the next day.
00:13:53.400 That's how the real world works, but that's not how it works under these guys.
00:13:57.860 And so, no, I think it's a lot of lip service.
00:13:59.940 I think the tweets were incredibly generic.
00:14:03.120 They were nonsense.
00:14:04.120 I guarantee you they probably never even saw them.
00:14:06.160 They were probably written by some low-level staffer who put it out because they realized that they had to say something.
00:14:12.100 But I think it's completely disingenuous, especially, again, given that Biden has been the first person to say he hopes Donald Trump remains in the quote-unquote crosshairs,
00:14:21.080 which, unfortunately, he's been twice in the last five weeks.
00:14:24.900 Exactly right.
00:14:25.960 The weirdness of this guy's, this shooter, this would-be shooter's book, talking about Iran.
00:14:32.060 I'm going to quote more now from this book, which is available on Amazon.
00:14:35.220 I would like to celebrate the amazing work of John Kerry that very humbly and humanly handled the Iran deal, which elated me and the whole of the world.
00:14:44.760 I must take part of the blame for the retarded child, quoting here, that we elected for our next president that ended up being brainless.
00:14:53.660 But I am man enough to say that I misjudged and made a terrible mistake.
00:14:57.080 And Iran, I apologize.
00:14:59.060 And here's where he says what we said in the intro.
00:15:00.920 You are free to assassinate Trump as well as me for that error in judgment and the dismantling of the deal.
00:15:07.260 No one here in the U.S. seems to have the balls to put natural selection to work or even unnatural selection.
00:15:14.420 There is an Iranian death threat on your dad.
00:15:18.100 They've been investigated, and there was a warning that the Secret Service was aware of before Butler,
00:15:22.900 though the complaints by the locals was that that was not shared with them.
00:15:26.640 Do you have any concerns about whether this guy might have some ties to Iran or some foreign actor overseas?
00:15:36.100 Yes.
00:15:36.940 Yes.
00:15:37.400 I mean, listen, we've had the Iranian death threat on all of us, frankly, for a very long time.
00:15:41.540 It's something that we've been very cognizant of for, you know, many years, frankly.
00:15:47.060 I mean, from the time that he was in office and he was taking out guys like Soleimani and al-Baghdadi and, you know,
00:15:51.620 so many of their nuclear scientists and doing so many other things.
00:15:53.960 I mean, it's interesting that the guy, the would-be shooter yesterday, was complimenting a country that literally chants death to America.
00:16:01.180 I mean, in Tehran, they chant death to America on their streets, yet he's complimenting how great their nation is.
00:16:06.960 It's also kind of ironic that, you know, we had total peace in the Middle East under my father, right?
00:16:11.840 Iran was broke.
00:16:13.700 You know, we were exporting oil from the U.S., meaning we didn't need their oil.
00:16:16.840 My father put massive embargoes on them.
00:16:18.860 Effectively, anybody who buys Iranian oil, we're not going to buy a single product.
00:16:23.040 I mean, the United States of America will not buy a single product from them.
00:16:25.440 So you want to trade oil with them?
00:16:26.780 Congratulations.
00:16:27.320 You're effectively cut off from every market around the world.
00:16:30.280 Iran was broke.
00:16:31.420 There were no missiles flying.
00:16:32.660 They weren't attacking our greatest ally in the Middle East, right, which is obviously Israel.
00:16:36.680 There was total peace.
00:16:37.840 No problems.
00:16:39.200 No problems from the Taliban.
00:16:40.720 No problems from ISIS.
00:16:42.460 Taliban, right?
00:16:43.200 For the last 18 months, we didn't lose a single service member over in Afghanistan.
00:16:47.740 My father sent the head of the Taliban literally a picture of his home.
00:16:50.600 And, you know, hey, guess what?
00:16:51.920 Don't mess with the United States.
00:16:52.820 You know what's going to happen if you do, right?
00:16:54.520 There was peace in the Middle East.
00:16:55.580 You had the Abraham Accords.
00:16:56.620 You had the moving of the embassy, as everybody knows very well.
00:16:59.640 You had the Golan Heights.
00:17:00.480 You had so many great milestones in the Middle East.
00:17:03.120 And, you know, it's amazing that the shooter, well, it's the same guy that's laughing in
00:17:07.680 front of a courthouse right now as he's facing probably the rest of his life in jail for doing
00:17:11.340 what he inevitably wanted to do.
00:17:13.280 But, you know, it's amazing that this person is a guy who's, you know, complimenting a country
00:17:17.420 that, again, you know, wants our total demise, wants to create nuclear weapons to use against
00:17:24.220 the West to extinguish our religion, our way of life, our families, and everything that
00:17:30.340 red, white, and blue stands for.
00:17:31.520 And so it's very par for the course for the guy that I see in that picture who looks like
00:17:35.620 a total maniac.
00:17:37.660 There is a retired FBI assistant director.
00:17:41.660 He was in office from 2004 to 2006.
00:17:44.120 His name is Chris Swecker, was 24 years with the FBI, helped actually capture Eric Rudolph
00:17:50.980 after the Olympic Park bombing, the actual guy who did it.
00:17:54.880 And in a Newsweek interview, he said the biggest question to answer here is how did the would-be
00:17:59.440 assassin know to be at that location at that time?
00:18:04.320 And then he goes on to say, Eric, there are only three possible answers.
00:18:08.080 He guessed and got very lucky.
00:18:10.120 He conducted surveillance on Trump and followed him to the golf course.
00:18:13.780 Or he had inside information about Trump's schedule.
00:18:17.400 Your thoughts on those three possibilities?
00:18:20.280 I agree with him 100%.
00:18:21.660 And in what world do we think it's a good idea for somebody with a pistol to be fighting
00:18:25.940 a guy with a rifle, right?
00:18:27.560 Those odds, this is never good.
00:18:30.360 Never good.
00:18:30.940 Pistols versus rifles don't work out well in the modern day.
00:18:35.380 We better get a real perimeter around the president.
00:18:40.260 And we better do so quickly.
00:18:41.780 Megan, they're trying to kill him, right?
00:18:43.500 They're trying to kill him.
00:18:45.280 I said it, and it was very controversial when I did.
00:18:47.700 And I'm not a tinfoil hat wearing guy.
00:18:49.160 I'm a very pragmatic guy.
00:18:50.300 I've just seen what they tried to do to my family for the last 10 years now of us being
00:18:56.220 in this game.
00:18:57.120 I've seen every single trick.
00:18:59.100 They laughed at us first.
00:19:00.420 Then they tried to take him down.
00:19:01.800 Then they tried to impeach him.
00:19:03.100 Then they went after him.
00:19:04.060 They tried to do everything.
00:19:06.160 And the only thing that was left for them to do was to literally kill him.
00:19:09.020 And a couple months ago, a couple months before Butler, I literally said, it would not surprise
00:19:14.220 me at all.
00:19:14.800 These people will stop at absolutely nothing.
00:19:16.920 And that's exactly what we're seeing.
00:19:18.860 And then you take that with real lapses in security.
00:19:21.240 And I'm not talking about even yesterday.
00:19:23.380 I think yesterday, in many ways, was a success.
00:19:25.600 They got the guy before he could do something bad.
00:19:28.460 But we better work on this perimeter because this is getting far too close.
00:19:32.160 Butler was a disaster.
00:19:33.700 And even when Blumenthal, it was probably the biggest anti-Trumper in the world, right?
00:19:38.280 When he comes out and says that there's a lot there to unpack, we better start getting
00:19:42.220 serious because, you know, Megan, we look like a third world country.
00:19:44.760 We probably already do, to tell you the truth.
00:19:46.240 But we'd look like a third world country if our, you know, if the leading candidate,
00:19:49.800 former president of the United States and leading candidate, you know, likely the 47th
00:19:53.580 president of the United States, gets executed in Palm Beach, Florida, we'd be the laughing
00:19:58.220 stock of the entire world.
00:19:59.220 You know, congratulations.
00:20:00.120 We're no longer the superpower of the world because people are literally, people would be
00:20:03.100 laughing at us, you know, not to mention what would probably be the ramifications
00:20:06.740 that came out of something like that.
00:20:08.220 You know, I mean, civil wars in countries have started for less than things like that.
00:20:11.940 I couldn't even fathom what that would mean for our nation, what that would mean for the
00:20:16.280 American dream, what that would mean for our prosperity, the respect or lack thereof.
00:20:21.980 You can't spend $3 billion on an agency to protect effectively two people, really protect
00:20:27.160 two people and have gaps.
00:20:29.520 And there were gaps in Butler.
00:20:31.080 There's no question about it.
00:20:32.240 And honestly, same gap, same gap, right?
00:20:35.000 Perimeter in Butler perimeter down here.
00:20:37.400 As somebody who knows this golf course, is it you tell me, is it possible, do you think
00:20:41.800 for somebody to have just followed your dad, just sort of stumbled upon his schedule, like
00:20:45.740 look for him and then follow him to the golf course?
00:20:49.280 Yeah, it's awfully easy to see a big motorcade pulling in there.
00:20:51.900 Right.
00:20:52.280 You know, but clearly it's premeditated.
00:20:54.020 There's no question about that.
00:20:55.080 I mean, the guy effectively went into a bunch of Eureka palms posted along.
00:20:59.560 But I mean, how would he know your dad would be there on this particular Sunday?
00:21:03.180 Right.
00:21:03.320 Your dad's it apparently wasn't broadcast.
00:21:06.080 So, I mean, do you have any because, you know, there are a lot of people thinking this
00:21:09.140 had to be an inside job.
00:21:10.740 And I know we have to entertain that.
00:21:12.280 We have to look down that lane.
00:21:13.700 Better entertain.
00:21:14.320 Is it plausible that you just.
00:21:16.260 Yeah, go ahead.
00:21:16.780 Everybody is better entertain.
00:21:18.240 Everybody is better entertain everything.
00:21:20.120 Yeah.
00:21:20.360 Right.
00:21:20.600 I never thought I'd say this again.
00:21:21.700 I'm not that tinfoil hat guy.
00:21:22.880 I've I'm actually a very sane human being.
00:21:25.720 And I think there's a lot of conspiracy theories out there that are absolutely insane.
00:21:28.340 And you better believe after twice in five weeks, you better start entertaining, you
00:21:33.620 know, all of those scenarios because something is very, very wrong.
00:21:37.040 And it could have been very, very different.
00:21:38.920 The guy literally brought a rifle across.
00:21:41.880 Megan, if you look at that, right, you've got a you know, you've got a massive street
00:21:44.820 that's wide open.
00:21:45.900 You've got probably 20 yards of a beautiful, perfectly manicured grass.
00:21:50.680 Then you get to a row of beautiful palm trees, right, royal palm trees, and you have about
00:21:54.420 another 20 yards of grass.
00:21:55.860 And then you've got a big hedge line inside the hedge line.
00:21:58.760 You have a chain link fence right on the other side of that.
00:22:00.820 He literally got across all of that holding a long gun.
00:22:04.020 And no one saw this.
00:22:05.740 Right.
00:22:06.140 There weren't there weren't eyes on street.
00:22:07.620 It's not like he's creeping through a bunch of woods to try and get in a concealed
00:22:10.380 spot and total camouflage.
00:22:11.700 I mean, he literally went across a massive highway in the middle of the day with it with a
00:22:15.600 long gun, something that you can't just throw in a backpack.
00:22:18.080 Right.
00:22:18.920 And slowly on his way into the bushes, adjoining, you know, adjacent to a golf hole that my
00:22:24.280 father happened to be on at that time.
00:22:26.120 Yeah.
00:22:26.280 You better entertain those those possibilities because that's seriously bad.
00:22:30.160 And, you know, I mean, the guy from looking at him looks like a total nut job.
00:22:34.320 Obviously, he's he's crazy.
00:22:35.560 You see that picture.
00:22:36.480 But what happens if he wasn't what happens if that guy was well camoed?
00:22:40.100 What happens if that agent just didn't happen to be there at the right time?
00:22:42.820 What happens if that guy killed that agent and then used a scope rifle to take somebody
00:22:46.360 out from not a far distance?
00:22:47.480 I mean, we better really start locking down this perimeter because something is is is
00:22:52.380 awfully wrong.
00:22:53.060 And as I said three times on this interview now, they are trying to get him.
00:22:56.960 Do you feel comfortable having the FBI?
00:22:58.480 When I said it six months ago, I believed in my heart that they would stop at nothing.
00:23:01.620 But now the world knows they are trying to get him.
00:23:04.880 Do you feel comfortable having the FBI conduct this investigation?
00:23:07.840 Ron DeSantis is saying he will conduct an investigation of his own down in Florida just to
00:23:11.960 make sure there are a lot of people who don't trust the FBI.
00:23:14.460 A lot of people at this point have questions about the Secret Service.
00:23:17.640 Who would you like to see investigate this?
00:23:20.240 Yeah.
00:23:22.280 It pains me to answer this question because honestly, I'm the biggest law enforcement guy.
00:23:25.760 I mean, my best friends in the world are all law enforcement.
00:23:29.040 I mean, literally Megan, my closest friends in the world.
00:23:31.300 I've told you stories about them yesterday.
00:23:33.080 But they are some of my closest friends in the world.
00:23:35.920 But then I see the weaponization of government.
00:23:37.980 I mean, I was the guy that got the call from the FBI that, you know, about the, you know,
00:23:43.760 the servers in the basement of Trump Tower communicating with the Kremlin.
00:23:47.360 Right.
00:23:48.240 We disproved that in 12 hours.
00:23:50.580 Right.
00:23:50.740 First of all, we didn't have servers in a basement because guess what?
00:23:53.000 Basements flood.
00:23:53.640 Right.
00:23:53.780 You don't put servers in basements.
00:23:54.920 It's stupid.
00:23:55.420 Second of all, we're largely cloud computing.
00:23:57.500 So, you know, the notion of really having servers that are communicating with the Kremlin
00:24:00.500 are just, it's insane.
00:24:01.860 We had disproved that.
00:24:03.140 Yet that hung over the first three years of my father's presidency, right?
00:24:06.380 They could have shut that down second one, day one, and they let that drag and they
00:24:11.280 let that linger.
00:24:12.700 It literally put two superpowers against each other.
00:24:15.680 If you think about it, right?
00:24:16.480 The two superpowers with the most nuclear weapons on earth, Russia and America for a
00:24:21.080 three-year period of time almost couldn't have communications because of the sham hoax that
00:24:24.800 was happening when an agency knew that it was nonsense, that it was garbage, that there
00:24:30.100 was nothing there.
00:24:30.840 They let it hang over my father.
00:24:32.280 And so do I have full trust in the FBI?
00:24:35.440 No, I don't.
00:24:37.620 I don't.
00:24:38.060 I've seen more leaks through that agency.
00:24:39.900 I've seen more things about us get leaked that were just untrue.
00:24:44.680 No, I don't.
00:24:45.660 Unfortunately, I don't have faith.
00:24:46.760 And you know, it's so sad because I have a bunch of friends who were FBI agents, like
00:24:49.740 the actual gun carriers in that organization.
00:24:52.020 And these are the most incredible people you've ever seen.
00:24:53.780 I mean, a couple of my closest friends in the world are in that agency and they also
00:24:58.440 shake their heads and what the hell is going on?
00:25:00.320 I mean, it's really amazing how, you know, one floor in one office building and one, you
00:25:04.940 know, in when, you know, in Washington, D.C. can corrupt an entire agency.
00:25:09.600 And you see that with the Secret Service as well sometimes.
00:25:11.700 I mean, some of the finest people you have ever met in your life, people who, regardless
00:25:16.280 of whether we win on November 5th, will be some of my closest lifelong friends for people
00:25:20.760 who, frankly, were assigned to Laura and I for a four-year period of time or three-year
00:25:25.400 period of time, you know, depending on, you know, when their ship came in.
00:25:28.660 These are some of the greatest people.
00:25:30.240 They love this country.
00:25:31.080 They love America.
00:25:31.840 They would do anything.
00:25:32.620 And they would take a bullet for either my father.
00:25:34.640 They would take a bullet for Biden.
00:25:35.800 They would take a bullet for Harris.
00:25:36.860 They would take a bullet for anybody because that's their job and they're brave as hell and
00:25:40.260 they're good at what they do.
00:25:41.140 But there's also a breakdown at the very top.
00:25:44.140 And make no mistake, some of these agencies are weaponized.
00:25:46.900 I mean, you know, the eighth floor of the Secret Service in Washington, D.C. allowed agents
00:25:50.880 during my father's presidency to go find the 4473, the firearm forms from Hunter Biden.
00:25:57.660 They allowed agents to go over to the firearm store where he had his revolver and they wanted
00:26:01.840 to collect those forms.
00:26:02.860 I wonder what they were doing.
00:26:03.920 This was while my father was president.
00:26:06.100 Do you think while Joe Biden was president, if, you know, Laura Trump threw a revolver in a trash
00:26:10.380 can outside of the supermarket, do you think Secret Service agents would be going over there
00:26:15.340 and trying to, you know, fish it out of a dumpster or going over to the gun store to
00:26:18.700 try and collect the paperwork?
00:26:20.120 Of course they weren't, Megan.
00:26:21.520 There's corruption in the government.
00:26:23.180 There's massive corruption in the government.
00:26:24.900 That corruption only goes one way, right?
00:26:26.840 I mean, the Democrats have done everything they can to weaponize every single system.
00:26:30.600 They've weaponized the military.
00:26:31.800 They've weaponized the DOJ.
00:26:34.220 You know, they've weaponized the entire legal system.
00:26:37.440 I mean, they're sending the number three person in charge of the DOJ to New York to
00:26:40.880 prosecute my father to try and take him off the ticket so that Joe Biden had a better
00:26:44.820 chance of winning.
00:26:45.600 And everybody knows the end story of what happened there.
00:26:48.940 It's insane.
00:26:49.700 They've weaponized these institutions top to bottom.
00:26:52.760 I mean, they've weaponized health care.
00:26:54.380 And at the center of it is a real life human who has a family, has grandkids.
00:26:59.540 That was one of the first things I thought about.
00:27:00.800 Like, you've got two young kids.
00:27:02.260 What are they, like seven and five now?
00:27:04.300 How do you explain to your little ones?
00:27:05.720 People are trying to kill grandpa.
00:27:08.660 My kids were sitting on my lap when Butler happened.
00:27:11.080 I was literally typing an email.
00:27:12.420 They were sitting on my lap watching him, right?
00:27:14.400 Everybody was speculating that he was going to make the dance announcement that day.
00:27:17.580 I knew he wasn't going to, but everybody was watching that rally.
00:27:20.100 It was being telecast by everybody.
00:27:22.120 My kids were six and four at the time, but I had a six and four-year-old sitting on my
00:27:25.800 lap watching their grandfather, you know, go down with blood flowing across his face.
00:27:29.240 I mean, yeah, he's a real life human being and, you know, it is a real life family.
00:27:33.320 But beyond all of that, I mean, don't cry for us.
00:27:35.520 We're big boys.
00:27:37.000 We can stand on the stage and, you know, and have so.
00:27:39.180 And I will to the day I die.
00:27:40.940 And I don't care what they do to us.
00:27:42.280 They're not going to, you know, but this is the guy who does not need to be doing this,
00:27:46.600 right?
00:27:46.820 I mean, Barack Obama was a community organizer, right?
00:27:49.620 What was his next step?
00:27:50.920 Well, probably politics.
00:27:52.620 You know, my father could live the greatest life in the world.
00:27:54.860 He could stay at Mar-a-Lago.
00:27:55.940 He could have the greatest time.
00:27:57.420 We've got the best assets, the best hotels, the best golf courses around the world.
00:28:01.000 He could live the greatest life with no nonsense.
00:28:02.880 He's not getting shot at every single day, literally and figuratively.
00:28:05.740 He's not sitting in courthouses all around the country.
00:28:08.960 He lives a beautiful life.
00:28:09.900 He could still be the kingmaker of the Republican Party.
00:28:11.800 Guess what he wants to do?
00:28:13.100 He wants to go out and fix this country because we are a failing nation.
00:28:15.800 We are failing on every single front.
00:28:17.380 Our economy is a joke.
00:28:19.240 Countries around the world are laughing at us.
00:28:20.920 I just came back from the Middle East.
00:28:22.200 We have a project over there.
00:28:23.860 They're literally laughing at us.
00:28:25.260 They're laughing at Biden.
00:28:26.340 I mean, the guy's sleeping on a beach while my father lays wreaths at Abbey Gate,
00:28:30.320 you know, commemorating 13 fallen soldiers in Afghanistan based on the worst withdrawal
00:28:35.100 in the history of our nation.
00:28:36.860 And what, our president is sleeping on a beach getting a suntan?
00:28:40.900 I mean, the world is laughing at us.
00:28:43.220 It's crazy.
00:28:44.160 You have Kamala Harris who doesn't have a single policy that makes any sense whatsoever.
00:28:49.040 I mean, her economic policies would bankrupt this country in about two and a half seconds.
00:28:52.180 You know, it's, it's, and she's put in charge of the border.
00:28:55.940 We've had 20 million people come across our border.
00:28:57.820 We have 300,000 kids that have died of fentanyl poisoning and they laugh about it.
00:29:02.680 They haven't done a damn thing.
00:29:03.520 And then she comes out.
00:29:04.060 Yes, I'm going to be very serious about the border.
00:29:06.200 Very serious about the border.
00:29:07.540 Megan, they flew in 320,000 people on aircraft, 737s into airports all across our nation in the
00:29:14.280 middle of the night.
00:29:14.960 Yes, she's saying she's going to be serious about enforcing her, our border, right?
00:29:18.740 They let in 20 million people into this country.
00:29:21.840 They sold an entire wall that my father had built, right?
00:29:25.200 He put up 500 miles, almost 600 miles.
00:29:27.980 All the, the rest of the border wall was built.
00:29:29.880 They sold all that steel for scrap at like four cents on the dollar, right?
00:29:34.740 And yet they come out and say, yes, we're going to be very serious about closing our border.
00:29:37.960 These people are the biggest crooks.
00:29:39.940 They're the biggest liars.
00:29:41.040 They're so disingenuous.
00:29:42.600 And we would win this election by 100% if they didn't cheat.
00:29:46.260 And if they didn't have the entire mainstream media being effectively the propaganda wing of
00:29:51.240 the Democratic Party.
00:29:52.400 That's right.
00:29:53.340 The, the, the, the media, I mean, we're going to get to that with our next guest.
00:29:56.120 I don't want to waste too much of your time because I know you got to run.
00:29:58.540 Can I just bring, bring this one thing up before I let you go?
00:30:00.920 The New York Times now reporting, this just hit.
00:30:03.640 The federal criminal complaint filed against the suspected gunman says his cell phone
00:30:07.320 was in the vicinity of the area along the tree line of the Trump golf course beginning at
00:30:12.260 1 59 AM, which would have been 12 hours prior to the secret service finding him, meaning
00:30:21.340 it appears he was likely lying in wait potentially for 12 hours at a minimum.
00:30:27.720 He visited the site at two in the morning and then went back.
00:30:31.260 But this certainly suggests he could have been lying in wait and certainly was outside of
00:30:35.820 the golf course.
00:30:36.800 Yet another thing, if the secret service had drones, if the secret service understanding
00:30:41.660 he was going to golf there would have detected or should have detected in advance, I, I can't
00:30:47.080 help but feel like he was a sitting duck.
00:30:50.500 Megan, he was a sitting duck.
00:30:52.040 I know the exact spot he was in.
00:30:53.740 I know it so well.
00:30:55.660 God forbid he would have, that agent wouldn't have seen him.
00:30:59.200 He would have been right in front of him.
00:31:00.820 He would have been 40 yards on the next hole right there, right where it says hole six,
00:31:04.540 right where your little arrow's pointing, right?
00:31:06.020 It's, it's just in from that.
00:31:07.460 You would have been standing right there.
00:31:08.640 The guy would have been there with an assault rifle at 50 yards.
00:31:11.720 Thank God for that agent doing their job.
00:31:15.040 But somebody better, better take perimeter security more, more, more seriously.
00:31:19.780 This is not going to end well.
00:31:21.220 Nothing about this is going to end well.
00:31:22.620 The fact that it's that premeditated, the guy was there one o'clock in the morning.
00:31:25.620 Yeah, that's, that's seriously problematic.
00:31:28.180 What the hell is a person doing there one o'clock in the morning?
00:31:30.480 This is Megan.
00:31:31.880 I can't even tell you how I truly feel about this because it's, it's, and I, not, it's
00:31:36.280 not only as a devastating part, you know, as, as a family member, right.
00:31:39.220 I mean, this bothers me more that this is against him than it would be if it were against me.
00:31:43.780 Right.
00:31:44.000 I'd be substantially less, you know, upset, but like, we've got to be better than this
00:31:48.840 as a country on every front, on every front.
00:31:51.200 We have to be better than this as a country.
00:31:53.000 We better be better.
00:31:53.340 And there should be universal outrage, but there isn't, there isn't, you know, you've
00:31:56.600 seen some of the nasty reaction from leftists online celebrating it.
00:32:00.680 They have absolutely no sympathy for him.
00:32:02.680 They're, you know, Bob Iger comments after Butler, like they're sorry he missed.
00:32:06.220 Bob Iger, who's the head of ABC, you know, he's the head of Disney, but obviously the
00:32:10.360 parent company, you know, to ABC, you know, I mean, where, where's the outrage?
00:32:15.300 Where's the outrage against Bob?
00:32:16.520 I mean, if I was Bob Iger, I'd fire everybody at ABC News.
00:32:19.820 I'd fire everybody.
00:32:20.800 I mean, you just tank the entire brand for ABC News.
00:32:23.080 Where is the outrage?
00:32:23.920 I mean, this is a guy who runs a publicly run company, right?
00:32:27.260 I mean, Disney is a public, he's got a fiduciary duty to his shareholders.
00:32:31.400 His shareholders are hundreds of thousands of people around this country.
00:32:35.320 You know, maybe millions of people around this country and around the world, yet there's
00:32:39.900 no ramification, right?
00:32:41.040 And they, no different than an organization is willing to literally give the questions
00:32:45.480 of a presidential debate to one of the candidates that they favor.
00:32:50.880 Does it come as any surprise that they want to bury the second time my father has almost
00:32:55.120 been assassinated in a five-week period of time?
00:32:58.680 That shouldn't shock anybody.
00:33:00.600 Everybody knows whose team they're on.
00:33:02.280 George Stephanopoulos, I mean, he was part of the war room.
00:33:05.860 He was part of the Clinton, you know, political team with James Carvell and all these people.
00:33:11.540 Does anybody really believe that these people can be fair and objective?
00:33:15.620 Of course they can't be.
00:33:17.580 But also, Megan, where's the shareholder outrage?
00:33:20.600 If I was a shareholder of Disney, thank God I'm not, because honestly, they're a failing
00:33:24.480 company at this point.
00:33:25.380 But where is the outrage?
00:33:27.140 You know, don't these people demand more?
00:33:31.740 Yeah, apparently not.
00:33:32.980 I mean, the answer is yes.
00:33:33.980 It's a hypothetical question.
00:33:35.360 But I mean, the fact that Bob Iger has not said a word about either what's happened then
00:33:41.360 and they continue the narrative today, not to mention the NBCs and frankly, the CNNs and
00:33:46.800 everybody else on that hit list.
00:33:49.000 It's horribly disgusting.
00:33:51.460 We need answers.
00:33:52.060 Yeah, they're not they're not acknowledging multiple failures at the debate.
00:33:55.400 They're not acknowledging they're not reversing any of their fake fact checks, which is just
00:33:59.840 a disgrace.
00:34:00.360 They're being celebrated for these fake fact checks by other members of the media.
00:34:04.080 And then on top of that, you get this self-proclaimed whistleblower saying ABC gave her sample
00:34:10.720 questions.
00:34:11.700 ABC agreed with the Harris campaign.
00:34:14.180 Again, not yet responded to by ABC or by Speaker Johnson, who was allegedly copied on the whistleblower
00:34:19.780 letter, but not only that they gave her sample questions, but they agreed that they wouldn't
00:34:23.440 ask her about Joe Biden's fitness, mental fitness, that they wouldn't ask her about her brother-in-law
00:34:29.100 and his term in the Department of Justice, where he was accused of intentionally giving
00:34:33.020 out big settlements to left wing plaintiffs in order to curry favor or her time as California
00:34:38.280 AG.
00:34:38.900 This guy certified mailed this verified, meaning sworn under the penalty of perjury affidavit
00:34:44.720 the day before the debate, the day before.
00:34:47.760 We haven't seen it.
00:34:48.520 This needs to play out.
00:34:49.880 But why has there not even been an on-the-record denial?
00:34:52.280 This was everywhere yesterday.
00:34:53.780 And it compounds what we saw at the debate, which we know with our own eyes, irrespective
00:34:57.340 of whistleblower, was a negligent attempt at journalism.
00:35:02.420 Irrespective of the whistleblower, you just took the words out of my mouth.
00:35:05.540 I looked at Susie Wiles, who runs a campaign for us, and she was sitting right next to me
00:35:09.280 during that debate.
00:35:09.920 I was about 30 feet away from my father, just in a room right next door.
00:35:12.980 And Susie and I were watching, and I guess she had the questions.
00:35:15.180 You can just tell the way she was answering them, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang.
00:35:18.900 I mean, it's almost like, I mean, you must have rehearsed him.
00:35:21.320 You know when somebody's scripted.
00:35:22.580 You know when somebody's rehearsed.
00:35:24.140 She was rehearsed.
00:35:25.000 She had seen these questions before.
00:35:26.300 There's just no question about it.
00:35:28.360 And by the way, to your first part of the question is, those would have been the first
00:35:31.760 questions that any illogical person would have, any fair, impartial person would have
00:35:35.900 asked.
00:35:36.840 You know, your own state of California has gone to hell, right?
00:35:39.860 You have homeless camps all over the place.
00:35:41.740 You've got fentanyl crisis, the likes of which you've never seen.
00:35:44.080 People can't afford to live there.
00:35:45.580 It's been the largest migration of people out of a state in the history of the United
00:35:48.460 States by far.
00:35:49.600 It's not even close.
00:35:50.960 Everybody's leaving.
00:35:52.420 You know, your streets are dirty.
00:35:53.740 Crime is all over the place.
00:35:55.040 You can't walk a block in San Francisco without walking across a hypodermic needle.
00:35:58.660 Like, why should people trust you to run the United States of America, which is much
00:36:02.360 bigger than just the city of San Francisco?
00:36:04.200 I mean, that's like the most obvious question.
00:36:07.480 My seven-year-old son would have thought of that question.
00:36:09.520 And, you know-
00:36:09.940 With Biden's mental acuity?
00:36:11.740 Of course.
00:36:12.680 For the last three and a half years, you've been saying that the guy was incredibly sharp.
00:36:15.900 He was a modern-day, you know, Winston Churchill.
00:36:17.800 He was incredible.
00:36:18.580 He's incredibly vibrant.
00:36:19.560 And then he comes downstage and the entire world sees that he was none of those things.
00:36:23.420 So you effectively lied to the American people for three and a half years.
00:36:26.620 You did so with fracking.
00:36:27.740 You did so on the border.
00:36:29.020 You did so on a host of other issues.
00:36:30.480 You know, what's your retort?
00:36:33.580 Or, you know, Mrs. Potentially, you know, President of the United States.
00:36:37.360 These would be the most obvious questions to answer.
00:36:40.000 Of course, they're not going to do that because they're in bed with her campaign.
00:36:43.680 They're in bed with them.
00:36:44.800 Well, then you-
00:36:45.340 Stephanopoulos.
00:36:46.360 I mean, just go back to him.
00:36:47.160 The local ABC, the local ABC anchor who questioned Kamala Harris over the weekend in an interview
00:36:51.520 and brings up the topic of guns, not by saying, you're on camera supporting a mandatory gun
00:36:57.220 buyback program, by saying, share your values on guns.
00:37:01.660 Just talk about guns in general.
00:37:03.760 And when she totally denies that she wants to take anybody's guns, there's no follow-up, Eric.
00:37:08.240 There's, it's just, the journalistic malfeasance is ubiquitous.
00:37:13.880 Megan, how about the fact that her vice presidential candidate said that, you know,
00:37:18.240 he obviously ran on the platform putting tampons on meals bathrooms in, you know, in Minnesota.
00:37:22.980 I mean, how about the fact that he comes out and says, you know, we're very serious about border
00:37:26.000 security, yet he's the guy that said that if Donald Trump builds a 25-foot tall wall,
00:37:29.840 he's going to build a ladder factory in Mexico to build 30-foot ladders so everybody can come
00:37:33.060 across that wall that Donald Trump just built.
00:37:35.240 I mean, they don't call them on any of this stuff.
00:37:37.760 I mean, this is insanity to the American people.
00:37:40.740 You know, this isn't, these aren't foreign rights issues.
00:37:42.760 This is insanity.
00:37:43.860 I guarantee you, if you pull tampons at boys' bathrooms, high school bathrooms, and you
00:37:48.720 pull that across the country, 99% of people would just say, this is, this is insane.
00:37:53.500 This is ridiculous, right?
00:37:54.520 That's right.
00:37:54.620 Of course, they're not going to harm me.
00:37:55.300 That's why they have to deny it.
00:37:56.780 It's, um...
00:37:57.420 Eric, I want to tell you, this is just in.
00:37:59.460 We now have body camera footage of the arrest of this suspect, Ryan Ruth.
00:38:06.480 We'll show it to you now.
00:38:07.760 Here it is.
00:38:11.660 Driver!
00:38:12.760 Take two steps to your right!
00:38:16.060 Take two steps to your right!
00:38:18.020 Take my back.
00:38:20.300 Driver!
00:38:21.240 Walk straight back!
00:38:27.640 Keep walking!
00:38:29.460 And that's it.
00:38:44.600 Um, FYI, more information coming in about how long he was at the golf course beginning
00:38:49.260 at 1.59 a.m.
00:38:50.340 According to the police affidavit in support of the arrest, uh, he was there.
00:38:54.980 Let's see.
00:38:55.660 Hold on.
00:38:55.980 Yeah, it looks like his cell phone was there from 1.59 a.m.
00:39:02.140 to 1.31 p.m.
00:39:04.220 It, it looks like they are suggesting at least his cell phone and possibly he were there.
00:39:09.700 They, the two of them together were there for 12 hours.
00:39:12.240 And there you can see the police doing the, exactly what they ought to do.
00:39:15.600 So far, he's been charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, a convicted
00:39:19.140 felon, and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
00:39:22.440 However, the scary thing here is if those charges don't get amped up, this guy could potentially
00:39:27.560 see daylight again.
00:39:28.740 Um, I don't know, but it just underscores the level of danger your dad was facing yesterday.
00:39:34.340 I'll give you the last word.
00:39:35.040 I know you got to run.
00:39:35.660 Thanks for giving us so much time.
00:39:36.720 Well, those charges are insane, right?
00:39:39.320 I mean, people are charged with the unlawful possession of firearm all the time, right?
00:39:42.780 And okay, fine.
00:39:43.680 You know, the guy didn't have a serial number on his gun.
00:39:45.380 I mean, the guy wanted to assassinate a person who was beloved by hundreds of millions of
00:39:49.840 Americans, a guy who was a great commander in chief of this nation, a guy who's probably
00:39:53.540 the most iconic person, one of the biggest brands anywhere in the world.
00:39:56.940 Uh, it was premeditated.
00:39:58.660 He was there in the morning, uh, as you said, likely there for 12 hours.
00:40:02.380 Um, you know, and you get charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, Megan, come on, you
00:40:09.460 know, that will flush this way out.
00:40:11.780 I'm sure there'll be federal charges and other things, but you know, I, I would have thought
00:40:14.560 that those charges would have been a hell of a lot more significant than that.
00:40:17.640 And believe me, if you better believe that they would have been more significant than
00:40:21.800 that.
00:40:22.100 And hopefully more will come.
00:40:23.240 Thank you for all your time, all the best to your family, to your dad, your kids.
00:40:29.400 We really appreciate it.
00:40:30.320 Stay well.
00:40:30.820 Great job with the show.
00:40:31.860 We'll see you soon.
00:40:35.180 Thanks for listening to the Megan Kelly show.
00:40:37.040 No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
