00:02:31.820 President Trump intervening in the critical early hours of a fragile ceasefire agreement
00:02:36.920 brokered between Israel and Iran amid escalating strikes from both sides
00:02:41.280 that threatened to reignite the war.
00:02:43.840 Overnight Monday, Israel and Iran continuing to trade fire.
00:02:47.480 President Trump Tuesday morning on the White House lawn expressing his clear frustration
00:02:51.380 in frank terms.
00:02:53.480 Israel, as soon as we made the deal, they came out and they dropped a load of bombs,
00:02:57.660 the likes of which I've never seen before.
00:02:59.840 The biggest load that we've seen.
00:03:01.680 I'm not happy with Israel. 0.99
00:03:03.500 You know, when I say, OK, now you have 12 hours, you don't go out in the first hour and
00:03:08.340 just drop everything you have on them.
00:03:09.980 So I'm not happy with them.
00:03:11.640 I'm not happy with Iran either. 0.99
00:03:13.140 We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they 0.99
00:03:18.880 don't know what the fuck they're doing. 0.98
00:03:20.820 Do you understand that? 0.99
00:03:22.220 Shortly afterward, aboard Air Force One heading to a NATO summit, President Trump telling reporters
00:03:26.760 he spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, convincing him not to retaliate against
00:03:32.620 Iran, who had breached the ceasefire agreement.
00:03:35.200 The ceasefire is very much in effect, and I think we're going to keep it there for a long
00:03:40.300 time.
00:03:41.000 Did you speak to Prime Minister Netanyahu about that?
00:03:43.880 Yeah, I did.
00:03:44.360 How did you tell him?
00:03:45.620 He said, you got to turn back the planes.
00:03:47.560 Look, they hit him very hard after we made the deal yesterday.
00:03:50.340 As you know, Iran hit them very hard last night because of that. 0.99
00:03:53.520 And there was going to be a retaliation this morning by Israel.
00:03:56.300 And he said, you got to call back the planes.
00:03:59.940 It's enough.
00:04:00.740 It's enough.
00:04:01.520 And they did, which I respect very greatly.
00:04:04.840 So nobody was killed.
00:04:07.260 Democrat Congressman from Texas, Al Green, on Tuesday filing an article of impeachment
00:04:12.300 against President Trump for ordering the Saturday evening strike on three key Iranian nuclear
00:04:17.820 facilities.
00:04:18.880 Mr. Green announcing the resolution on the House floor.
00:04:21.400 H-RES 537 has been filed because I believe that the president of the United States has
00:04:30.220 committed an impeachable act.
00:04:33.180 I believe that if we do not take immediate action, this authoritarian president will not
00:04:39.620 only devolve the country into authoritarianism, I believe he is a would-be dictator who would
00:04:46.200 become a dictator.
00:04:47.300 Under the first Trump administration, Congressman Green filed multiple articles of impeachment
00:04:52.020 against the president, his latest failing Tuesday afternoon, with 344 members, including
00:04:58.000 128 Democrats, voting to table the resolution, 79 voting to proceed with impeachment.
00:05:05.140 Mr. Green, you may remember, was escorted out of the president's joint address to Congress
00:05:09.300 in March for his continued interruptions.
00:05:11.760 Many Democrats, including Congresswoman AOC, Jasmine Crockett, and Ilhan Omar, criticizing
00:05:18.040 President Trump for not seeking congressional approval before launching the strikes, because
00:05:23.080 Jasmine Crockett is who we want making our military decisions. 1.00
00:05:27.340 Congresswoman Omar on Saturday releasing a statement reading in part, quote,
00:05:31.300 Military strikes will not bring peace.
00:05:33.380 They will only provoke more violence, destabilize the region, and endanger U.S. troops and civilians,
00:05:38.680 a prediction that has so far proven incorrect.
00:05:42.680 Congresswoman Crockett and AOC, who initially said the strikes amount to an impeachable act,
00:05:48.020 speaking out separately earlier this week. 0.99
00:05:50.600 I'm the one that's supposed to make a fucking decision or at least get a vote. 0.98
00:05:54.320 He unilaterally brought the United States into a war without congressional approval. 0.99
00:06:00.460 It is illegal.
00:06:01.420 It is unconstitutional.
00:06:02.460 On Truth Social, the president writing in part, quote, 1.00
00:06:05.580 Stupid AOC, one of the dumbest people in Congress, can't stand the concept of our country being 1.00
00:06:10.900 successful again. 1.00
00:06:12.300 When we examine her test scores, we will find out that she is not qualified for office, 0.99
00:06:16.500 but nevertheless, far more qualified than Crockett, who is a seriously low IQ individual,
00:06:22.420 or Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our country, yet the failed country that
00:06:27.040 she comes from, by the way, that's Somalia, doesn't have a government, is drenched in crime 1.00
00:06:32.100 and poverty, and is rated one of the worst in the world.
00:06:35.180 AOC and her Democrat friends have just hit the lowest poll numbers in congressional history.
00:06:40.100 So go ahead and try impeaching me again.
00:06:42.840 Make my day.
00:06:44.360 House Speaker Mike Johnson Tuesday on Fox saying his colleagues are out of line.
00:06:48.460 It is ridiculous for anyone to assert that the commander-in-chief, using his Article
00:06:53.520 2 power under the Constitution, should have to consult all the members of Congress or even
00:06:57.820 all the leadership in Congress every time he has to make a decisive, quick action.
00:07:01.960 I mean, that would not be feasible.
00:07:04.280 So the idea that they're saying that what he's done is somehow inappropriate or unconstitutional
00:07:08.400 is nonsense.
00:07:09.740 None of them ever complained when Barack Obama and Joe Biden used the same authority to drop
00:07:15.560 bombs all over the Middle East, all over the world. 0.71
00:07:18.460 The Department of Homeland Security announcing the arrest over the weekend of 11 Iranian nationals
00:07:24.140 illegally in the United States.
00:07:26.720 A DHS statement reading in part, quote, criminal illegal aliens arrested include an individual
00:07:32.100 with admitted ties to Hezbollah, a known or suspected terrorist, and an alleged former sniper
00:07:37.700 for the Iranian army.
00:07:39.460 The arrests come as DHS warns of heightened risk of lone wolf attacks here in the homeland,
00:07:45.240 inspired by the strikes against the Iranian nuclear facilities.
00:07:49.420 Trump administration officials in recent days drawing attention to the over 1,000 illegal
00:07:53.720 immigrants here from Iran who entered the U.S. under the Biden administration's open
00:07:58.320 border policies.
00:07:59.920 President Trump on Tuesday commenting on potential sleeper cells within the U.S.
00:08:04.040 That Biden was an incompetent president, had no idea what he was doing.
00:08:08.220 He hardly ever signed a document. 0.71
00:08:09.920 Other people signed documents for him with the auto pen.
00:08:13.580 It was gross incompetence.
00:08:15.520 And among everything else, he let a lot of supercells in, many from Iran.
00:08:20.840 But hopefully we'll take care of them.
00:08:23.100 What Biden did to this country should never be forgotten.
00:08:26.520 Attorney General Pam Bondi testifying Monday on the Hill as to the DOJ's efforts to protect
00:08:31.800 the homeland.
00:08:32.360 How many Iranian sleeper cells do we suspect are in the United States?
00:08:37.080 Congressman, I can't talk about that in this setting.
00:08:40.460 But what I can tell you is I know Homeland Security.
00:08:44.300 I know the FBI.
00:08:45.800 They are focusing on doing everything we can to keep our nation safe.
00:08:52.820 And they will continue to do that.
00:08:55.840 Yeah, it's a frightening time in which we live right now.
00:08:59.360 But President Trump is committing to committed to keeping all Americans safe.
00:09:04.360 And we look forward to working with you on that.
00:09:08.080 Coming up, the Trump administration challenging a federal district court judge, it says, is
00:09:13.080 openly defying the U.S.
00:09:15.140 Supreme Court.
00:09:15.760 And both the prosecution and defense rest in the Sean Diddy Combs trial.
00:09:20.760 If you've ever tried to sleep through a summer heat wave, you know the struggle.
00:09:29.540 Flip the pillow over, you toss the covers, you're sweating through the night.
00:09:33.400 It's unpleasant.
00:09:34.020 Let me tell you about Cozy Earth sheets.

00:10:28.160 The Trump administration accusing a Biden-nominated federal judge of openly defying a Supreme Court
00:10:36.900 order.
00:10:38.040 On Monday, the high court in a 6-3 decision delivering a major win for the Trump administration,
00:10:43.800 allowing deportations of illegal immigrants to third countries, meaning countries other
00:10:49.080 than the ones that they are from.
00:10:50.580 U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy confirmed in the waning days of the Biden administration
00:10:55.700 issuing a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration on April 18th.
00:11:01.700 It barred the administration from deporting immigrants to these third countries without
00:11:06.640 affording them the opportunity to object.
00:11:09.660 Then in May, Judge Murphy found that Team Trump had violated his April order by attempting to
00:11:16.140 deport eight illegals to South Sudan, all of whom had been convicted of other crimes, including
00:11:21.800 murder.
00:11:23.120 These men are currently being held at a U.S. military base in Djibouti after Judge Murphy
00:11:27.920 ruled they could not be sent to South Sudan when they were already en route to the country.
00:11:34.020 The Supreme Court on Monday lifting that April injunction, thus clearing the way for these
00:11:38.980 deportations.
00:11:39.780 Hours after the Supreme Court ruling, however, the detainees filing an emergency motion with
00:11:45.600 Judge Murphy asking for a continued block on their deportations.
00:11:50.160 Judge Murphy saying the motion was unnecessary because, in his view, the order the Supreme Court
00:11:55.260 stayed, the April one prohibiting these deportations, was different from the one that found the Trump
00:12:01.120 administration had violated that earlier order when it attempted to actually deport these
00:12:06.520 eight men without the court-mandated due process.
00:12:10.200 In other words, he said, even though my order saying you cannot deport them without a hearing
00:12:15.340 has been vacated, you still violated it before we knew it was invalid, and therefore these
00:12:20.740 men cannot be deported, as if not deporting these guys is now the punishment for the administration
00:12:26.500 disobeying what we now know was an invalid order.
00:12:30.540 White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller reacting Monday night on Fox, calling Judge Murphy's
00:12:35.600 order a lawless act and a judicial coup.
00:12:38.980 This is an incredible victory the Supreme Court win.
00:12:42.500 It allows President Trump, as the law has long said, but the courts have blocked, it allows
00:12:47.880 President Trump to send illegal aliens convicted of rape, murder, homicide, assault, battery,
00:12:55.200 crimes against children, to any country around the world that is willing to accept them.
00:12:59.420 A little bit of breaking news is that the district court judge in Boston has said he's going
00:13:04.220 to defy the Supreme Court's ruling, so expect fireworks tomorrow when we hold this judge
00:13:08.520 accountable for refusing to obey the Supreme Court.
00:13:11.020 On Tuesday, the Trump administration filing a motion requesting the Supreme Court to clarify
00:13:16.060 that its order allows these deportations to continue and asking it to stop Judge Murphy
00:13:22.000 from interfering.
00:13:23.400 From the motion, quote, the district court's ruling of last night is a lawless act of defiance
00:13:28.040 that once again disrupts sensitive diplomatic relations and slams the brakes on the executive's
00:13:33.300 lawful efforts to effectuate third country removals.
00:13:36.160 The DOJ's filing also asks the justices to consider requiring Judge Murphy to obtain preclearance
00:13:43.120 from the Supreme Court before he issues any future injunctions in this case or to reassign
00:13:49.180 the case to a different judge altogether.
00:13:51.480 We'll continue monitoring the story for developments.
00:13:56.220 After weeks of testimony from 34 witnesses, the prosecution in the Sean Diddy Combs trial on
00:14:02.220 Tuesday resting its case, the day's proceedings beginning with the continued cross-examination
00:14:07.220 of Homeland Security Investigations Special Agent Joseph Circiello.
00:14:11.240 The defense, reviewing several records attempting to prove alleged victim Jane, was in fact a willing
00:14:16.200 participant in the hotel nights involving Combs, male escorts, and bottles upon bottles of baby
00:14:22.800 oil and personal lubricant.
00:14:24.960 The defense also presenting evidence suggesting Jane and Mr. Combs hid the use of male escorts in
00:14:30.680 these hotel nights from Combs' staff, apparently trying to prove that these were private
00:14:36.160 encounters and not part of some staff-supported criminal enterprise.
00:14:41.000 In one January 2023 message, Jane asking Combs what time she should tell the escort to arrive.
00:14:46.780 Combs replying, quote, maybe 9.30 so he doesn't run into anyone.
00:14:50.800 At the close of the prosecution's case, the defense making a motion for acquittal on all counts,
00:14:55.340 saying the prosecutors did not prove each alleged crime.
00:14:58.600 Defense attorney Alexandra Shapiro saying, quote,
00:15:02.060 There's at best thin proof that any of the other employees willingly participated in crimes with
00:15:07.380 and for Mr. Combs.
00:15:09.260 The judge deciding to reserve decision on the motion, it's unclear when he will make a ruling.
00:15:14.420 The judge asking Mr. Combs if he plans to testify, Combs telling the court he would not take the stand.
00:15:19.820 The defense presenting a very quick case of its own on Tuesday afternoon before resting.
00:15:24.480 Both sides expected to meet later today to discuss jury instructions.
00:15:28.620 The jury is dismissed until Thursday when closing arguments are expected to begin.
00:15:34.620 And that'll do it for your AM Update.
