00:00:00.480 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, your home for open, honest, and provocative conversations.
00:00:11.820 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show. Happy Monday. I hope you had a great weekend.
00:00:17.820 It's like a monsoon here in the Northeast. It's just never going to be sunny again.
00:00:23.680 Again, that's how it feels, but we're feeling sunshine in our hearts because it is our son Yates' 14th birthday.
00:00:32.040 You know how that is, right, moms and dads, when your kid hits a birthday and you think back,
00:00:35.960 my God, what was I doing 14 years ago, right? Both he and I were feeling a lot worse than we do today.
00:00:42.840 I can guarantee you that. But, you know, those are the most magical things, and especially when it's your eldest, right?
00:00:48.460 Like, that's the moment. Like, you just will never, ever forget that feeling every minute of that morning.
00:00:56.160 It was so long ago, 14 years. He was born in 2009. I didn't even have, like, an iPhone yet.
00:01:05.460 We were taking video off of, like, a camcorder when we went to the New York City Hospital in the early morning.
00:01:13.640 It was, like, 5 a.m. on my way. So enormous, right? Remember that, too?
00:01:19.420 And you're, like, so incredibly juicy at the end. You feel like Violet Beauregard, where if they plucked you with a pin,
00:01:25.500 you would just explode. Anyway, I don't miss that piece of it, but I don't know.
00:01:32.760 It's just an occasion to stop and think about how much your kids mean to you and the passage of time.
00:01:37.140 And have you made the most of those 14 years and what you're planning to make the most of the next four, five,
00:01:44.020 that he's with us before he goes off to college? Although I've told my kids many times I don't want them to go to college.
00:01:48.160 I'm trying to infantilize them. I don't want independence, and I really don't want them to think they can do anything without mommy.
00:01:54.260 So it's—I'll talk to Dr. Laura about it later.
00:01:57.840 All right. A lot happened over the weekend.
00:02:01.000 My God, have you seen the Menendez story? Senator Menendez? I mean, like, you think if you got away with federal corruption charges, right?
00:02:14.060 Like, you actually had to go to federal trial, accused of being corrupt and taking payoffs,
00:02:19.220 and you managed somehow to skate on a hung jury, that you would toe the line.
00:02:23.500 You would be like a little Boy Scout from that point forward.
00:02:26.260 Well, think again, because one of the nation's top Democrats is accused by the feds again in a criminal case of taking bribes.
00:02:36.100 So we'll get to that. And then new polling. My God. My God.
00:02:40.540 But the case for—against Senator Menendez is almost as severe as the polls against Joe Biden.
00:02:46.000 They are terrible, and they are leading to a massive freakout on the left.
00:02:50.460 Even the pollster himself, like ABC News and Washington Post, are like,
00:02:54.580 it's an outlier. It's an outlier. Trump's 10 points up, and it's outlier. Fear not.
00:02:58.740 Is it an outlier? This all comes down a couple days before the second Republican debate,
00:03:04.980 as Trump is not only now crushing Joe Biden, but, of course, continues to increase his lead over his own GOP rivals.
00:03:13.180 It is a busy Monday. Joining me now to discuss it all, Charlie Kirk, founder and CEO of Turning Point USA
00:03:18.360 and host of The Charlie Kirk Show. Charlie, welcome back to the show.
00:03:23.000 I know you can relate on the child front because I met your beautiful baby daughter
00:03:27.280 at the Turning Point event in July. She's absolutely perfect.
00:03:32.280 But, you know, it's like your child's birthday is almost like a marking of the passage of time.
00:03:37.960 Like, where were we? And look, what's she doing now?
00:03:40.000 And like, what am I doing? It's almost like a gift in many ways.
00:03:43.600 You can do a gut check on whether you're living your life the way you want.
00:03:47.380 No, that's right, Megan. I'm going to steal what you said.
00:03:49.900 She's not allowed to grow up. She has to stay at home the rest of her life.
00:03:52.360 So I think that's great. Permanently infantilizer.
00:03:56.740 But no, it's only been a year, so I can't imagine 13 years from now.
00:04:00.280 Wow. When she turns 14. But congratulations to you.
00:04:03.360 And it's parenthood is the greatest thing ever. So praise God.
00:04:06.680 Oh, thank you. Absolutely right. Praise God is right.
00:04:09.720 We actually he just began his confirmation classes.
00:04:12.460 I'm a little behind. He's one year behind.
00:04:14.420 I fell down on the job, but he's going with his sister now.
00:04:16.940 So it's like all sorts of rites of passage coming his way and ours, too.
00:04:20.980 OK. Oh, and by the way, I said, what do you want to do today on your birthday?
00:04:23.580 And he wants to go see the nun, too. I'm like, what's that?
00:04:27.240 Oh, we're going to go as a family. The nun, too, is rated R.
00:04:30.400 We have a 10 year. I'm like, yeah, no, honey.
00:04:33.140 It's a no.
00:04:33.760 That's that's yeah. I've never seen any of the nun series, but I'm told it's rather graphic and gory.
00:04:41.260 So that's it sounds like a 14 year old boy.
00:04:44.120 So, yeah, it's not it's not happening.
00:04:46.180 There's something called the haunting with it's like an Agatha Christie thing.
00:04:49.740 That's PG 13. We might wind up doing that. I'll get back to you.
00:04:52.980 Speaking of the haunting, Joe Biden's haunted by these poll numbers.
00:04:55.860 My God, did you see the double barrel of the ABC News, Washington Post poll and then the NBC News polls?
00:05:04.980 So, OK, maybe the 10 point Trump lead is an outlier.
00:05:08.300 But now I was listening to Morning Wire today.
00:05:10.820 There have been 10 polls matching up Trump versus Biden over the past couple of months.
00:05:16.140 I think they said like four show them tied for show Trump up and to show Biden up.
00:05:23.080 But I haven't seen anything that's showing a lead like this.
00:05:28.120 And the left is having an absolute meltdown because if you look inside these polls and you and I will.
00:05:34.680 All of the data is bad for Joe Biden.
00:05:36.560 It's not like, oh, Biden's really strong.
00:05:39.000 And so it's weird that they came up with a 10 point Trump lead.
00:05:41.440 No, all of the data, a job approval, approval on economy, approval on immigration.
00:05:46.360 You go down the list is absolutely dreadful for the sitting president.
00:05:50.460 What do you make of it all?
00:05:51.080 Several things.
00:05:53.240 And first of all, I just I want to just enjoy it for a second, because here's Donald Trump, who's facing 500 years in federal prison.
00:06:00.880 And there's been obviously a scheme hatched against him.
00:06:04.180 And he's stronger than ever, objectively stronger than ever, far stronger than he was in 2020 against Joe Biden.
00:06:10.680 Going back to January, it's very clear the Democrats made a couple of predictions for this for this year.
00:06:15.940 They thought that Donald Trump would be in a very bitter and brutal and nasty Republican primary that would make Donald Trump have to constantly be distracted from Nikki Haley to Mike Pence to DeSantis.
00:06:28.660 That has not materialized.
00:06:30.080 There really is not much of a Republican primary.
00:06:32.460 There's a Republican Party in name, but Trump's not even showing up to the debates.
00:06:36.120 And it's really not much of anything.
00:06:38.140 He's up 40 or 50 points or 30 points in Iowa.
00:06:40.600 And that's the worst state that he's performing in.
00:06:43.320 So the media was wrong about that.
00:06:44.820 And they wanted it badly.
00:06:46.340 They thought they could really damage him and wound him ahead of a general election.
00:06:49.500 The second thing is they went all in on this lawfare strategy.
00:06:52.380 They thought that Donald Trump was going to become deeply unpopular.
00:06:56.240 They wanted to create almost like a wounded animal scenario where Donald Trump was backed into a corner and he had everything against him and he would just become the worst version of himself.
00:07:04.860 Megan, I'll be honest, he's been more disciplined, been more clear than anything I saw towards the latter part of the 2020 election.
00:07:11.960 And so that didn't work at all.
00:07:13.360 Finally, there's a couple other things.
00:07:14.780 I know that this is going to make some people in your audience laugh.
00:07:17.540 The insiders who centrally plan everything, they underestimated just how deeply unpopular Joe Biden is and how unpopular he was becoming.
00:07:27.760 And this changed.
00:07:28.680 It was a little bit of a closer race between Trump and Biden back in the spring.
00:07:32.700 But this summer, it just fell off a cliff.
00:07:35.320 I mean, this this poll, I'm going to comment on it in a second, because even I, as a Trump supporter, I don't even totally believe the poll.
00:07:41.660 And I'm going to tell you what I think is really going on here.
00:07:43.440 But it's alarming every single Democrat pundit.
00:07:47.020 And then another variable that's important to isolate here, Megan, is the rise of third party candidates that can cause a lot of headaches for Joe Biden and the Democrat Party.
00:07:55.720 A potential no labels campaign.
00:07:58.120 Cornel West is looking strong and the Green Party is going to be probably on the ballot in a lot of the target states where they were not on the ballot in 2020.
00:08:06.200 Remember, in 2016, a lot of Democrats blamed Green Party candidate Jill Stein for robbing the presidency from Hillary Clinton.
00:08:13.600 And if all the Green Party ballots would have went to Hillary Clinton, she would have beat Donald Trump.
00:08:18.800 So you put all these variables together.
00:08:20.820 The people that thought they had a perfect plan for 2023, the plan's not going so well.
00:08:26.120 Now, what do I think is really going on here?
00:08:27.880 Even as a Trump supporter, I would love to believe that Donald Trump is up 10 points or 12 points against Joe Biden.
00:08:33.820 I think that's I think it's a little bit much.
00:08:35.560 But I think this is just another piece of evidence of the media, pollsters or people in charge trying to get Joe Biden to not run.
00:08:44.860 You saw this with the David Ignatius piece.
00:08:46.960 Joe Biden should not run for president in The Washington Post.
00:08:50.280 All of a sudden you saw Hunter Biden indictment.
00:08:53.560 You're seeing piece after piece.
00:08:55.460 A lot of evidence mount where I think they're trying to send a message to Ron Klain and the really group of eight or 10 people that are white knuckling onto power in the White House.
00:09:06.460 And Megyn Kelly, Megyn, I'll be honest, like I look at what I see right now in front of us.
00:09:11.500 I want to run against Joe Biden.
00:09:12.940 I want to run against, you know, this corrupt, unable to speak, you know, less than desirable president.
00:09:20.580 So that's what I think is going on here.
00:09:21.620 And the people in charge are scrambling and they thought they would have Donald Trump in that position.
00:09:26.620 They thought it would be the exact opposite.
00:09:28.440 They thought it would be Trump down 10 points, not Joe Biden down 10 points.
00:09:32.560 Yeah.
00:09:32.920 What's amazing is you're right.
00:09:34.680 It's it's Joe Biden.
00:09:36.180 Joe Biden is a serious problem for them, because even, you know, if you look further down the polls, Nikki Haley's being Joe beating Joe Biden by four or five points to Ron DeSantis.
00:09:46.340 And at least one of these polls is losing to Joe Biden by two points.
00:09:49.100 But the point is, the Republicans are doing well and the electorate's looking at the Republicans as a very viable option.
00:09:57.380 And yet you look over on the Dem side.
00:09:59.840 Who do they replace him with, Charlie?
00:10:01.600 Who there's not you know, like if God forbid something had happened to Donald Trump, the GOP would say, OK, you know, Ron DeSantis is acceptable.
00:10:11.980 Nikki Haley.
00:10:12.420 Clearly, they feel is acceptable like they have other choices that they could get behind enthusiastically.
00:10:17.660 Not so over on the Dem side.
00:10:21.680 Yeah, I that's a great point.
00:10:24.220 And also, it's not just going to be a seamless baton transfer.
00:10:27.840 Right.
00:10:28.340 Kamala Harris.
00:10:29.100 She's waited her whole life for this.
00:10:30.600 Right.
00:10:30.800 She's not just going to, you know, go go to the side for a Gretchen Whitmer or a Gavin Newsom.
00:10:35.700 So they're they're in a really tough spot here because they basically said we're not going to have a Democrat primary.
00:10:41.240 Remember, the party of democracy doesn't want to have a Democrat primary.
00:10:45.640 And every time I hear democracy, just replace democracy with oligarchy.
00:10:49.700 And it makes total sense.
00:10:51.240 Our oligarchy is under attack.
00:10:52.780 Our oligarchy has never been in a more fragile spot.
00:10:55.660 Our oligarchy, you know, is falling apart.
00:10:58.080 Makes perfect sense.
00:10:58.920 They don't mean democracy.
00:10:59.860 They mean oligarchy.
00:11:00.700 They mean rule of the few, not of the people.
00:11:02.840 But this is not an easy solution.
00:11:04.380 Right.
00:11:04.860 So there's going to be a really heated kind of series of meetings that I'm sure we're going to learn about through leaks and through backstabbing of do we, you know, just anoint Gavin Newsom?
00:11:16.440 Do we make, you know, Vice President Harris the nominee, who, by the way, is even less popular than Joe Biden, which is amazing to think about.
00:11:24.660 And then I think the consensus candidate they're going to try to float is Gretchen Whitmer.
00:11:29.900 Michelle Obama looks as if she has zero interest whatsoever to do this.
00:11:34.380 I know that name is, you know, rather fashionable to kind of probe and put out there.
00:11:38.560 But the Democrats at this point, they thought that they could control every single one of the variables going into 2024.
00:11:47.840 Think about it.
00:11:48.480 They somewhat did this in 2020.
00:11:50.720 Mass mail-in ballots, constantly having the COVID porn on television with all the fear porn, with the death counts, the mask mandates, you know, the race riots, and then censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story.
00:12:05.160 They thought they could do this again in 2024.
00:12:08.200 It turns out that what happened in 20 was remarkable.
00:12:13.140 And Molly Ball detailed it in her Time Magazine piece inside the shadow campaign that won the 2020 election.
00:12:18.380 When Mark Elias and many others were hosting Zoom calls about potentially having people go in the streets and labor unions and billionaires all coming together.
00:12:26.020 This plan is not going well for them at all.
00:12:29.500 Does that mean that Republicans are going to win?
00:12:31.460 I sure hope so.
00:12:32.700 I'm not going to make any guarantees because the Democrats still have a far superior political machine in the key states that matter for ballot harvesting, ballot chasing, voter registration, you know, suing to try to relax some of those standards.
00:12:45.840 But for the the people that look as if they can centrally plan everything, they are they're really in panic right now.
00:12:53.280 And quite honestly, I'm enjoying every second of it.
00:12:55.840 Yeah, you will never underestimate the Republicans ability to screw it up.
00:12:59.360 That's correct.
00:13:00.120 I never really get too into the debt fights, you know, and the funding fights, because I mean, I've been at this long enough to realize they always wind up funding it.
00:13:07.380 It's like what they take us to the brinksmanship and then it always winds up.
00:13:11.020 They fund it. So it's like, why did I play this game over and over?
00:13:14.140 But I will say right now, Biden's approval numbers on the economy are absolutely dreadful.
00:13:19.400 And if I were sitting Republican, I wouldn't do anything to to blame shift that over to me.
00:13:24.860 I really wouldn't.
00:13:25.700 I just politically speaking, I would say fund it.
00:13:28.700 Don't give them one already on NPR this morning.
00:13:31.140 I listen to NPRs up first in the mornings as well.
00:13:33.640 And they're already getting ready to like shift the blame.
00:13:36.820 Oh, you know, there's been some economic headwinds like they're coming our way.
00:13:40.800 And this won't help.
00:13:41.740 This won't help.
00:13:42.660 They're going to be like.
00:13:43.300 So don't underestimate the Republicans ability to screw these things up.
00:13:46.800 OK, but let's get into the numbers on this poll.
00:13:48.900 Let's start with the overall approval rating for Joe Biden.
00:13:51.560 NBC News pointing out over the weekend.
00:13:53.220 These are the lowest of his presidency.
00:13:56.740 Disapproval of Joe Biden.
00:13:57.860 This is the NBC poll.
00:13:59.340 Fifty six percent approval.
00:14:01.160 Forty one.
00:14:02.340 The ABC News Washington Post poll.
00:14:04.160 Even worse.
00:14:05.320 Disapproval is the same.
00:14:06.300 Fifty six.
00:14:06.920 They're both getting a fifty six percent disapproval.
00:14:08.720 They say approval at thirty seven on the economy.
00:14:13.580 Sticking with the ABC disapproval of sixty four percent.
00:14:17.720 So you've got two thirds of the electorate who are very unhappy about how the economy is
00:14:22.860 doing.
00:14:23.940 The border.
00:14:25.680 Sixty two percent.
00:14:26.740 Again, almost two thirds disapprove of what's happening at the southern border.
00:14:31.540 They're angry about it.
00:14:33.340 They they see what we're seeing.
00:14:35.020 No, like so none of what the Democrats are doing for once is working like usually they
00:14:40.660 send out their talking points to the media.
00:14:42.140 The media says Biden, Bidenomics, Bidenomics.
00:14:45.580 And then the opinions start to turn on the economy.
00:14:48.720 Oh, maybe Bidenomics is a good thing.
00:14:50.580 Or, you know, same thing about the southern border.
00:14:53.680 Neither one is working.
00:14:54.640 Huge swaths of the electorate are deeply unhappy about both of those two things.
00:15:00.880 Yes.
00:15:01.400 I mean, this reminds me of the Pravda newspapers in the Soviet Union where they say there's
00:15:06.020 no famine.
00:15:06.640 Everything's great.
00:15:07.440 And the people in the countryside like, no, we have we have no food.
00:15:10.640 I mean, you could keep on telling us that, you know, there's bountiful harvest, but we
00:15:14.460 have no food and things are really bad.
00:15:16.440 And you look at those two issues in particular, the immigration one, what two different realities
00:15:21.800 that we're living in.
00:15:22.800 I was just in Texas and I was speaking to ranchers and people on the front lines.
00:15:26.320 This is a crisis.
00:15:27.880 We are seeing the planned and co-sponsored collapse of Western civilization.
00:15:33.240 We're talking about eight to 10,000 people a day.
00:15:36.280 I mean, in New York City alone, it is putting stress on public services and on schools and
00:15:43.180 housing.
00:15:43.620 And it's happening in almost every major urban pocket of the country.
00:15:47.760 And Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, it seems as if they almost want it.
00:15:50.980 I mean, they are almost empowering DHS and Border Patrol to continue the invasion into
00:15:55.340 America.
00:15:56.060 And then the economy is that inflation persists.
00:15:58.700 The economy is not good at all whatsoever.
00:16:01.260 I mean, you read these disapproval approval ratings.
00:16:03.660 Forty one percent of Americans approve of Joe Biden.
00:16:06.120 Like, who are these people?
00:16:06.920 How could you approve of this guy?
00:16:07.940 He's doing nothing well.
00:16:09.260 Nothing.
00:16:09.940 I mean, whether it be the national debt, the southern border, what's going on.
00:16:13.460 Ukraine, that's not going well at all.
00:16:15.540 And it does go to show that there is going to be 35 to 40 percent of the country that
00:16:21.000 will never waver from any sort of left wing Democrat type politics.
00:16:25.460 But the Democrats are now coming up against a reality crisis, which is how much can you
00:16:29.560 actually spin?
00:16:31.020 How much can you actually lie to the American people when the entire society itself is
00:16:36.140 collapsing?
00:16:36.600 And that's what we're living through.
00:16:38.140 This is not just a regular presidential election coming into 2024.
00:16:41.520 We did not get over covid and the lockdowns, Megan.
00:16:45.220 Instead, we have only kind of rolled one crisis into the other.
00:16:49.600 And we still have almost all these underlying issues of young people that are killing themselves,
00:16:55.020 young people that can't find work.
00:16:56.480 And by the way, in the polling, you see some remarkable figures of 18 to 35 year old voters
00:17:01.140 that I'm sure we'll get to, which is that almost every possible demographic, including
00:17:06.300 minority voters, are rejecting the Democrat regime.
00:17:09.540 They're saying, can we get back to some form of a normal America?
00:17:13.480 Can we stop the nonstop panic of 10,000 people coming across the country and medically mutilating
00:17:19.300 13 year olds and teaching pornography in our textbooks?
00:17:23.000 And it is this almost I mean, Christopher Ruffo has isolated this, I think, beautifully.
00:17:29.020 We are living through a hysterical cultural revolution.
00:17:32.040 And even the people that aren't necessarily conservative or Republican, they want a way
00:17:38.180 to make it stop.
00:17:39.540 And Joe Biden was supposed to be that person, Megan.
00:17:41.960 He was the I'm going to get us back to 1984 America where we agree to disagree and we're
00:17:48.220 going to calm down the tensions.
00:17:49.580 His appeal, if there was one in 2020, which is hard to believe, is that I'm going to be
00:17:55.120 the kind of, you know, jovial grandfather type figure and we're going to get and we're
00:17:59.800 going to stop all of the heightened alarmism.
00:18:03.080 It's been the opposite.
00:18:04.220 He has accelerated that sort of panic and the American people are ready to go back to a
00:18:10.120 country that is orderly and stable, not to mention the crime issue, which is hurting
00:18:14.620 people every single day.
00:18:15.660 But who the hell said we wanted an influx of over 10 million illegals coming into America?
00:18:21.400 Who the hell voted for that?
00:18:22.680 Like even even my radical dem friends on the Upper West Side of Manhattan are not in favor
00:18:28.100 of that.
00:18:28.820 And even the governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, a dem who's got her vaccinated necklace on
00:18:35.200 wherever she goes, just so you're clear on her politics.
00:18:39.220 She's out saying they've got to go someplace else.
00:18:41.340 They get rid of them.
00:18:42.460 They got to go.
00:18:42.800 So, I mean, all of this is reflected now in his polls, because if you have 62 percent
00:18:46.900 of the electorate saying we disapprove of how he's handling the southern border, that's
00:18:51.620 not just Republicans and right leaners.
00:18:53.480 That's Democrats to some large percentage.
00:18:56.380 I want to go through some of the numbers before we and I want to go through specifics here because
00:18:59.940 there's just so much in here.
00:19:01.480 So 59 percent.
00:19:03.240 This is on the NBC News poll here.
00:19:05.540 Fifty nine percent say they want new options besides Joe Biden.
00:19:10.300 And NBC News pointing out yesterday, this is not normal.
00:19:13.260 That is not normal for a sitting president, an incumbent to have this many wanting a change
00:19:18.580 on the ticket.
00:19:19.620 When Trump was at this point in his election, it was just 37 percent of Republicans wanted
00:19:26.900 a new option.
00:19:28.140 It's 59 percent who want to change for Joe Biden.
00:19:32.460 And let's not forget Donald Trump lost when just 39 percent wanted to change.
00:19:36.720 So you've got, you know, almost almost 60 percent want him got like that's a terrible number
00:19:44.260 for him.
00:19:44.780 The Democrats can smell and so can the Republicans blood in the water if they stick with this
00:19:49.760 guy.
00:19:50.100 And that's not even factoring in his age, which is an enormous issue.
00:19:55.360 OK, NBC News still 74 percent, 74 of the electorate has major or moderate concerns that Joe Biden
00:20:05.200 does not have the necessary mental and physical health to be president for a second term.
00:20:11.340 That's enormous.
00:20:13.340 I mean, like then you look over, OK, maybe that maybe that's an outliner.
00:20:17.000 74 percent, according to NBC, what did ABC and Washington both find?
00:20:20.820 Seventy four percent say Biden's too old for a second term.
00:20:23.840 That's up six percent since just May.
00:20:27.340 Sixty two percent of Democrats.
00:20:29.960 I said 59 percent in the NBC poll said we want somebody else.
00:20:33.220 Fifty nine Democrats, 59 percent Democrats in the ABC poll.
00:20:37.000 Sixty two percent of Democrats and Democrat leaners say the party should pick someone other than
00:20:41.040 Joe Biden.
00:20:41.880 Just 33 percent of Democrats and Democrat leaners want Joe Biden.
00:20:47.360 My God, he's too old.
00:20:49.860 They don't want him.
00:20:51.080 They don't think he can do a second term at a minimum, a minimum best case scenario for
00:20:56.320 them.
00:20:56.540 This is going to severely decrease turnout and depress the enthusiasm for their guy.
00:21:02.520 That's right.
00:21:03.260 And then you have Cornel West, who is rather talented.
00:21:06.420 He's a smooth talking guy who might be able to get three to five percent in some of these
00:21:10.120 states.
00:21:10.680 Remember that there is this forced marriage all around stopping Donald Trump between the Bernie
00:21:15.240 Sanders base and kind of the more of the suburban corporate Democrats.
00:21:19.100 And Bernie Sanders has a really good argument to say that he won the Democrat nomination
00:21:22.820 in 2016 and it was taken from him from Hillary Clinton.
00:21:26.200 And he would have won it in 2020 if it wasn't for covid.
00:21:28.920 And all of a sudden, Joe Biden, who finished six in New Hampshire, they kind of reset the
00:21:33.040 entire process.
00:21:33.960 And Joe Biden gets endorsed by Clyburn in South Carolina.
00:21:38.540 And he just kind of all of a sudden became the nominee.
00:21:41.080 So the base of the Democrat Party is very radical.
00:21:43.960 They tend to want some of the most extreme positions and they don't look at Joe Biden favorably,
00:21:50.440 especially from an age mindset.
00:21:51.960 And they're ready to defect.
00:21:53.780 So this kind of forced marriage that has happened between the Bernie Sanders, AOC, Rashida Tlaib,
00:21:58.280 Ilan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, wing of the Democrat Party.
00:22:01.080 And you're more kind of transactional, transactional Democrats like Joe Biden, Bob Menendez and many
00:22:06.280 others where they're just there for power and they're there for just kind of maintaining
00:22:09.980 the oligarchy that can work if everything is about opposing Donald Trump.
00:22:15.000 And I've said that Donald Trump is a far better criticizing type candidate than an incumbent.
00:22:21.440 He's just better at being an outsider.
00:22:23.960 He is he's better at challenging Joe Biden, at pointing poking holes in what's happening
00:22:30.040 as an incumbent.
00:22:31.560 It was a lot harder because he had to govern the country in the midst of a crisis we've
00:22:34.660 never seen before.
00:22:35.500 Multiple crises, by the way, and then also run for reelection.
00:22:38.460 What they did in 2020 by removing the Green Party from being on the ballot in the key states
00:22:43.380 is they created almost a European style vote of no confidence against Donald Trump.
00:22:48.820 And it was barely, barely decisive in Joe Biden's direction.
00:22:53.060 We're talking about like 10,000 votes in Arizona, 9,000 votes in Georgia and 22,000 votes in
00:22:58.320 Wisconsin.
00:22:58.840 That's on the margins of the margins with Republicans doing almost nothing when it came to chasing
00:23:04.320 ballots and engaging in early voting.
00:23:07.160 And that's changing, Megan.
00:23:08.120 I got to tell you, talking to the grassroots, what we're doing at Turning Point Action, you
00:23:11.980 know, talking to precinct committeemen, talking to county chairman, all in on early voting.
00:23:16.120 That is going to make a difference.
00:23:17.800 So the Democrats kind of machinery edge is closing.
00:23:21.360 They're still far superior, right?
00:23:22.880 They spend more money.
00:23:24.080 They know how to ballot chase.
00:23:25.200 They know how to micro target.
00:23:26.420 That might be able to might have been able to get them a 200,000 vote makeup in Arizona.
00:23:31.780 Now it will probably be a 50,000 makeup, right?
00:23:34.720 So we're talking about closing the window on the strategic advantage for the Democrats
00:23:38.820 where they were all of a sudden able to make John Fetterman a U.S. senator against a
00:23:43.660 very qualified and impressive Dr. Oz, which just made us all so confused.
00:23:48.120 So their machine is not going to be able to produce the same sort of results that it did
00:23:55.000 in 2020 and 22 because Republicans are finally waking up to that.
00:23:58.860 And then they have a deeply unpopular candidate as it stands now.
00:24:01.960 And then third party candidates that could splinter younger voters and minority voters.
00:24:07.100 I'm not sure how they're going to solve this.
00:24:08.900 And I believe that there is going to be a movement afoot to try to replace Joe Biden.
00:24:15.040 But the drama that the media just doesn't cover, Megan, is that Joe Biden is white knuckling.
00:24:20.600 He doesn't want to give it up.
00:24:22.100 Jill, Joe, Ron Klain, Karine Jean-Pierre.
00:24:25.680 There is a group of White House insiders that are saying no to any David Ignatius or NBC.
00:24:31.640 They say, nope, we're not giving up power.
00:24:33.740 We're not giving up power.
00:24:34.840 That's that's pretty dramatic.
00:24:37.220 It's it's really interesting.
00:24:38.880 Great.
00:24:39.320 Great.
00:24:39.860 Because he's very beatable and he's supporting the mutilation of children in terms of their
00:24:46.300 you know, these these these.
00:24:49.420 Puberty blockers into cross gender hormones and then, you know, the sex change procedures
00:24:56.320 when they're under 18 and even like the 15 year olds who are saying that they want this,
00:25:01.560 like Chloe Cole, who then lived to reject it or, you know, regret it.
00:25:05.460 Like there's they get they ignore these people.
00:25:07.760 Anyway, as I've said before, I'm really becoming a single issue voter on that particular thing.
00:25:11.980 But let me give you some other numbers.
00:25:13.920 Would you say this is ABC?
00:25:16.140 Would you say you were better off financially than you were when Biden became president?
00:25:20.160 Not as well off or about in the same shape.
00:25:23.700 Forty four percent say I'm not as well off.
00:25:26.040 Almost half of the electorate says I am worse off economically than I was when Joe Biden took
00:25:31.180 president this or took the presidency this as they now are looking back, according to
00:25:36.560 the same polls, more favorably on the Trump presidency there.
00:25:41.940 So Trump's numbers are going up in terms of like, well, how how is the country?
00:25:47.140 How is the economy?
00:25:48.020 How was I under President Trump versus how am I under under President Biden?
00:25:52.620 So they're having sort of buyer's remorse on Biden.
00:25:56.120 And then, as always happens when you have a breakup, you know, they're remembering all
00:26:00.260 the good things about Trump and maybe not some of the things that they didn't love about
00:26:04.020 him.
00:26:04.580 Either way, it's creating a rosy glow around him.
00:26:07.320 Not withstanding any of the indictments, the news on the indictments.
00:26:11.420 This is back to NBC.
00:26:14.340 OK, 62 percent have major or moderate concerns about Trump facing different criminal and civil
00:26:20.660 trials for alleged wrongdoing.
00:26:23.080 But that is 12 points under the number who have concerns about Biden's mental health and
00:26:29.080 physical health.
00:26:30.060 And 60 percent on the Joe Biden side have major or moderate concerns that Joe Biden was possibly
00:26:36.160 aware or involved in Hunter's business dealings.
00:26:38.940 So the whole Hunter thing and the Joe Biden age and infirmity thing has completely crossed
00:26:45.080 out the Trump legal indictments.
00:26:47.680 The Democrats tried their best, but it failed.
00:26:50.800 Well, and I just you know, I was watching Morning Mika and they can't understand why people
00:26:56.780 aren't so fired up about the indictments.
00:26:59.360 It's like, how about you go talk to the country that you supposedly, you know, communicate to every
00:27:03.980 single day?
00:27:04.500 And the answer is this.
00:27:05.760 People think that it's way overreaching and it would be one thing, Megan, if it was like
00:27:09.980 one indictment here.
00:27:11.100 But when you have New York, Fulton County and then two from Jack Smith, it's so obviously
00:27:16.180 targeted.
00:27:17.520 Let's not bury the lead.
00:27:19.300 This is a guy who is facing 500 years in federal prison.
00:27:23.800 And according to all the legacy news media is beating the incumbent president by 10 points.
00:27:29.760 That alone is just remarkable.
00:27:32.240 I mean, it would be remarkable if he was tied and he's up allegedly 10 points, which I still
00:27:37.340 find, you know, just amazing to see.
00:27:40.160 And it goes to show a couple of things.
00:27:41.980 Number one, Donald Trump's resiliency is noteworthy.
00:27:44.240 You could love him.
00:27:44.860 You could hate him.
00:27:45.560 The fact with everything still being thrown against him that he continues to press onward
00:27:50.600 and forward, I think just to be virtuous and admirable, it's incredible.
00:27:54.400 But the American people, they do not trust these institutions.
00:27:58.260 And that is where the disconnect is, is that the plan that was hatched here in 2023 by a
00:28:05.580 lot of these Democrat consultants and insiders and and those sorts of people, they thought
00:28:10.120 that if you are indicted, it changes the entire game that, oh, my goodness, people are really
00:28:15.380 going to walk away from him now and it's going to, you know, muddy him up.
00:28:19.060 And that's kind of the running joke we have.
00:28:20.900 How else are they going to bring down Donald Trump's favorables from now till next November?
00:28:26.100 I mean, I get it that he 500 years in federal prison.
00:28:29.480 What else do they have on him?
00:28:30.960 Potentially, the guy has been impeached twice.
00:28:33.300 You had the Billy Bush tape.
00:28:34.800 You have every possible person around him leaking and writing books about him.
00:28:39.580 What I'm getting at is that his floor is bulletproof, is that he really can't go any lower.
00:28:45.360 He is nothing but upside.
00:28:46.720 And people are now willing to say, OK, don't love the indictment thing, but I was richer.
00:28:52.200 We had a border.
00:28:53.460 We weren't funding a proxy war in Ukraine.
00:28:56.220 You know, very basic things like law and order were respected.
00:29:00.060 Give me the guy with the indictments and the tweets that I might not love.
00:29:04.160 It's better than bedlam, chaos and dementia.
00:29:06.940 I don't have to get married to Donald Trump.
00:29:10.020 But if I put Donald Trump back in the Oval Office, people are thinking my life is going to
00:29:14.480 get better.
00:29:15.100 I understand that.
00:29:16.200 I mean, the southern border alone, if you're paying even just a little attention, you cannot
00:29:20.740 avoid what is happening.
00:29:22.220 And that's happening mostly in blue cities.
00:29:24.480 Now, the people down in the red cities along the southern border, it's already been factored
00:29:27.520 in.
00:29:27.760 They're well aware of what's been going on.
00:29:29.600 But now the blue cities are having to deal with it firsthand.
00:29:32.140 And and the same way COVID made a lot of more moderates and even Republicans out of these
00:29:36.900 Dems, the immigration influx is doing the same.
00:29:40.380 You don't send your kid to school and have him wait outside for two hours just to get in
00:29:44.320 and then have him have to say his pronouns as he waits in line to get a book, as he has
00:29:50.960 to sit through a class in which the instructions are now in Spanish and in Swahili and all the
00:29:56.740 rules that we went through this in New York, where you actually have to have a translator
00:29:59.880 for every language that's represented and say, I'm still going to vote for these people.
00:30:04.320 I'm still going to vote for the power, the power's in charge.
00:30:07.660 Let's talk about the young voters, because you pointed this out in the ABC News Washington
00:30:12.700 Post poll among 18 to 35 year olds.
00:30:16.780 Trump has a 53 to 38 advantage.
00:30:21.620 That's unbelievable.
00:30:23.060 In NBC, he still Biden still has the advantage with 18 to 34 year olds.
00:30:29.120 But in the ABC, it's advantage Trump and by a lot.
00:30:33.920 And among Hispanics, I saw you pointing this out.
00:30:37.460 Trump's edge, according to the ABC poll, is 50 to 44.
00:30:42.060 So he's making inroads with black voters.
00:30:44.280 He's making huge inroads with Hispanic voters.
00:30:47.680 And he's making inroads with the young people, Charlie.
00:30:52.340 You know, I'm just going to take a look.
00:30:54.320 By the way, I think you delivered that.
00:30:56.540 Thank you.
00:30:57.180 Well, that's that's very kind.
00:30:58.600 And it's our team at Turning Point.
00:31:00.120 You see how hard they work, Megan.
00:31:01.280 And they're just the best.
00:31:02.420 And, you know, 11 years ago, I was told that millennials, which is is included in that poll
00:31:07.980 and soon to be Gen Z, they're going to be permanently liberal, permanently progressive.
00:31:11.420 Don't waste your time.
00:31:12.920 And we got to work, you know, started thousands of college and high school campus chapters.
00:31:17.960 We have tens of thousands of amazing leaders.
00:31:20.460 And we reach millions of people on digital and social media every single day.
00:31:24.440 So to see the results of that poll is very promising.
00:31:28.000 It's the margin is surprising, but it's not that surprising because I've been telling people
00:31:32.240 for a while, especially the late 20 somethings and early 30 somethings, that there is a voting
00:31:38.640 block that can move 20 to 30 points, which is they're four or five years removed from college.
00:31:44.600 They lived the lockdowns and they missed an opportunity to buy any property and they are
00:31:50.400 renting their way into their mid 30s.
00:31:53.340 And that creates a lot of rage, Megan, because that is always part of the American experience
00:31:58.940 in the American dream, buying property, seeing your wealth go up.
00:32:03.100 And so you have these late 20 something and early 30 somethings that are living paycheck to
00:32:07.900 paycheck.
00:32:08.220 They still have sizable student loan debt because they were told to go to these universities.
00:32:12.160 They are not seeing their wages be able to maintain with inflation.
00:32:16.000 So they have credit card debt, medical debt and all sorts of other.
00:32:19.180 They don't even have money for an emergency.
00:32:21.180 And then on top of it, they cannot buy a home and they keep on being told by baby boomers,
00:32:27.980 you know, yeah, the American dream.
00:32:29.400 And we were able to buy a home at your age.
00:32:31.320 And it creates very angry voters.
00:32:34.100 And that is their number one issue.
00:32:36.500 Property ownership and wealth accumulation for early 30 somethings.
00:32:40.100 They feel the game is rigged against them, even more so than abortion.
00:32:44.620 Abortion is what animates the 18 to 22 year old crowd because they're at, you know, they're
00:32:48.580 in Narnia, you know, free sex and abortion and all that.
00:32:52.040 And we're doing our best to try to message them, especially with the young ladies.
00:32:55.220 But when the, let's say, pesky shackles of reality start to come forward for a 31 year
00:33:00.280 old voter in Atlanta or in Phoenix, where inflation is 22% over the last 18 months, and they see
00:33:08.020 their rent go up from $2,300 a month to $3,800 a month or $4,200 a month, they want to change
00:33:15.880 in leadership badly because they feel as if they have been priced out of the American dream
00:33:21.040 and they did everything they were told.
00:33:22.800 Think about it.
00:33:23.440 Go to college and get the piece of paper, wear the mask, lock down, you know, do all these
00:33:27.540 different things. They have been a rule following generation. And all of a sudden they see it.
00:33:31.920 It was all a scam. It was all a lie. And they're poor because of it. And they are pissed.
00:33:36.740 I'm telling you, in the 2024 election, early 30, early 30 somethings can go red in a way that
00:33:43.040 would blow up every single Democrat model. This is just our audience probably knows this,
00:33:47.600 but this is how Charlie spends his days. I mean, immersed in these very crowds talking to them
00:33:51.240 about their issues, Dem and Republican alike. He's trying to convince him to vote red. But
00:33:55.940 like, you know, of what you speak, because this is literally how you make your living
00:33:59.440 on top of everything you just said, his age.
00:34:05.160 What young, vibrant person up and coming in their 20s or their young 30s would look at Joe Biden and
00:34:13.360 say, yeah, sure, he can do it every day. There's another fall down moment every day. He screws up
00:34:21.120 his words. He stumbles. He literally falls down.
00:34:24.060 I realize Trump is only three and a half years younger than Biden, but there's no comparison.
00:34:28.600 I just spent an hour and a half with a former president. There's no comparison. And they know
00:34:35.320 that no matter what, if these Democrats want to say outwardly and the media wants to say he's up to
00:34:40.240 the job. Oh, we can barely keep up to up with him as green jumpy. That's fine. You can say it all
00:34:44.160 you want. No one's buying it. And these young people realize like he can't do it. So what are we
00:34:50.460 going to get? We're going to get her. So that leads me to Kamala Harris. Let me squeeze in a
00:34:55.460 quick break and I'm going to pick it up with Kamala Harris and what they're now saying about
00:34:58.960 her, what the polls are saying about her and what Joe Biden said about blacks and Hispanics.
00:35:05.100 Standby. Standby. Yet another gaffe. Two of them.
00:35:08.760 We've seen a series of events where these Democrats go on the Sunday shows, which are usually friendly
00:35:18.280 to the Dems and refuse to say Kamala Harris is the best choice for his VP, for his running mate,
00:35:26.260 et cetera. Pick your form of that question. And they don't want to say it. You know,
00:35:31.100 Nancy Pelosi didn't want to say it. Jamie Raskin didn't want to say it. And the latest is James
00:35:35.580 Clyburn, who basically got Joe Biden, the nomination last time around. He was flailing.
00:35:40.760 He's from South Carolina and he helped get Joe Biden, the nomination. Joe Biden had to promise
00:35:46.360 he was going to have a female black running mate that wound up being Kamala Harris. He gets asked
00:35:52.160 about Kamala Harris on the Sunday shows about whether she's the best choice and did not stick
00:35:59.120 the landing. Watch. I see her as a part of that future. Absolutely.
00:36:04.340 Is she the future though? Oh, she could very well be. And I look to her as a successor
00:36:10.140 to this president. But I also know the history of that as well. It's not a given. She'll have to
00:36:17.720 compete going forward with whoever may have dreams and aspirations. And I think she will acquit herself
00:36:23.920 well. Why do you think she's not resonating more with voters? What do you think the issue is?
00:36:28.460 Because when you compare the first woman of color and first woman to be vice president of the United
00:36:35.860 States and compare that to all of the history before, you will get that.
00:36:42.420 Okay. She's not doing better because we're racist and we're sexist.
00:36:47.360 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:36:48.280 And even though if you look at the if you look at the NBC poll, which Kristen Welker was asking him
00:36:53.380 about, it shows that actually the people who are least enthusiastic about voting for Biden Harris
00:36:59.960 are blacks and Latinos. They're the least enthusiastic. So I guess they're also racist
00:37:06.440 against Kamala Harris.
00:37:07.680 Yeah. I mean, then how did Obama win? I mean, if America is such a racist country and you had the
00:37:14.600 first black person running for the presidency. No, people don't like Kamala Harris because she's a
00:37:20.240 terrible person and she's an awful politician. She's not even good at it. The cackling thing.
00:37:24.440 She has not been able to get that out of her kind of standard operating procedure. And it's just she
00:37:31.100 says the goofiest, weirdest stuff. You know, I always joke around that if they replace Joe Biden and we get
00:37:36.080 to run against Kamala Harris, I mean, it's an even more unpopular version of Hillary Clinton. I mean,
00:37:42.100 at least Hillary Clinton had some sort of ability to like raise a ton of money and make her political
00:37:47.300 opponents just vanish and disappear. I mean, Kamala Harris has none of that. I mean, she just kind of
00:37:52.060 just got appointed because of she's an affirmative action pick. Let's just call it exactly what it is.
00:37:56.840 Clyburn said that we need somebody. Yeah, we need somebody in this criteria. And look, affirmative action
00:38:02.480 is destroying America. It's destroying America in college campuses. Thankfully, the Supreme Court overturned it,
00:38:08.360 but campuses are finding ways around it. And then you get Kamala Harris. And she was appointed and tasked with
00:38:16.540 one of the greatest liabilities for the Biden regime. And that is the border. If she were to run, I'm telling you,
00:38:23.340 especially in the swing state of Arizona, she will just get steamrolled on this issue. This is an issue.
00:38:28.480 If you talk about an issue where 60 to 70 percent of Americans are upset about it and it's not going
00:38:34.000 to change and where the Biden regime refuses to do anything because their vision is to open the
00:38:38.660 borders to the entire third world, it is the border. And it was Kamala Harris who was tasked with
00:38:43.280 overseeing the entire thing. And so, look, the Democrats, they don't know who to choose next.
00:38:48.040 And hilariously, we were always told Democrats have a great bench. We have a great bench. We have
00:38:52.660 Gavin Newsom. We have the Castro brothers. We have Gretchen Whitmer.
00:38:56.060 And what are they going to bring next? J.B. Pritzker? I mean, like that at this point,
00:39:01.500 it's who who else are they going to try to put into this? You know, why not? I mean,
00:39:08.180 since indictments tend to help their calculation could be. Yeah, that's right. If indictments
00:39:13.300 boost you in the polls, then Menendez is the guy. So listen to this. Here's Joe Biden,
00:39:19.460 obviously seeing the lack of enthusiasm with minority groups, which tends to be the Democrats
00:39:25.220 bread and butter. They need black voters to turn out for Joe Biden. And they need those numbers that
00:39:30.460 we just went over with Hispanics to reverse themselves. ASAP. So Joe Biden goes and he
00:39:36.700 addresses the Hispanic caucus and he he gets them confused. Now, imagine if Donald Trump confused
00:39:48.260 the Hispanics for the Blacks, which is what happened. Listen to SOT 1.
00:39:54.900 My dad used to say everyone, everyone is entitled to be treated with dignity and respect.
00:40:00.740 Congressional Black Caucus embodies all those values.
00:40:05.100 Except you're talking to the Hispanic caucus.
00:40:07.120 Yeah. Okay. But but but but look, white liberal Democrats view them as all the same, which is
00:40:14.120 just obedient minority voters that keep us in power. And what what's the big difference? I mean,
00:40:20.060 and let's just understand why are Hispanics starting to go more to the right? And I think
00:40:25.660 it's the trans issue, Megan. I think of all the issues that the faith, family, freedom base of
00:40:34.280 Hispanic America find repulsive. It's this idea that men can give birth, spending time in Hispanic
00:40:40.480 communities. I grew up in one. I grew up in a high school that was 53 percent English as a second
00:40:44.780 language. There is this kind of preservation of traditional gender roles of that there. And even
00:40:52.380 beyond that, there is that we're going to have strong men and we are going to have strong women
00:40:57.040 and like this kind of machismo undercurrent in Hispanic culture. This idea that men can give birth.
00:41:03.000 You have an you have someone that comes from Honduras legally or from Mexico that's been here
00:41:07.900 for two generations. They think that's insane. And someone from the Upper West Side, you know,
00:41:13.280 those friends that you mentioned that are trying to almost imperialize these values and colonize
00:41:19.320 these communities. They they don't want anything to do with it. Secondly, Hispanics, they want a
00:41:24.400 border. I know this is kind of a crazy thing that Joe Biden and white liberals don't understand
00:41:29.000 because they don't want a border while they live in gated communities. But you know who is seeing an
00:41:33.680 uptick in crime? Carjackings, rape, arson, murder, strain on social services is legal working class
00:41:41.300 Hispanics in the West Valley of Phoenix in Glendale is working class Hispanics in Harris County in
00:41:47.800 Houston. And not to mention the late term abortion stuff they don't like at all. And so you put all this
00:41:52.320 together. White liberalism is at odds with traditional Hispanic values. And you're starting
00:41:58.900 to see that manifest in the polls. It could be, Megan, it could be that Donald Trump wins the
00:42:04.760 Hispanic vote in 2024. If that happens, you will see a political realignment that could put the
00:42:10.660 Democrat Party into the minority for generations to come. And they tend to be Catholic Catholics like
00:42:16.240 me. We don't believe in any of that stuff. The other issue with Joe Biden that I'm sorry, but again,
00:42:24.440 imagine if this were Donald Trump. Imagine if this were Donald Trump. He's at he now he was addressing
00:42:30.440 the Congressional Black Caucus. OK, this this time he actually was in front of the Congressional Black
00:42:35.020 Caucus. They're Phoenix Awards. They're called on Saturday. And he was trying to make a reference
00:42:40.840 to LL Cool J. Two gaffes in here. See if our listening audience can hear both of them.
00:42:49.040 And two of the great artists of our time representing the groundbreaking legacy of hip hop
00:42:53.280 in America. LL J Cool J.
00:42:59.320 By the way, that boy's got he got man's got biceps bigger than my thighs. I think he's.
00:43:05.500 Oh, my God. I'm cringing. I'm dying. I'm dying. He call him boy. He called a black man boy. It's
00:43:15.900 not the first time and it won't be the last. He's done it repeatedly. I could play you all. In fact,
00:43:21.200 we should get a butted soundbite together. You guys will play tomorrow of all the number of times
00:43:24.760 that Joe Biden has done this. And then, of course, doesn't even know who LL J Cool. Like I hit it.
00:43:30.620 I. OK, what do you make of it? I just think that we should just play the corn pop tape
00:43:36.040 on repeat where Joe Biden, you know, just goes over this whole thing when he was young and there
00:43:42.360 was this guy corn pop. And but by the way, what is it with this just nonstop Joe Biden yelling at
00:43:47.900 the sky? There is no kind of change in his decibel level. It's just full up. And then there was a guy
00:43:54.620 cool LJ LL boy. And it's just there is no nuance here. And there's there's no volume control. And
00:44:03.480 I'm going to say something like really mean, but like when I'm around people in their 80s or 90s
00:44:10.120 and they've lost like their sense of anything around them, like there's it's just full like blast of
00:44:15.820 like noise is what it is. It's just projection of noise. And look, we can make fun of it. But yeah,
00:44:21.920 this guy is in charge of the nuclear football. He's in charge of our border. And yeah, I just
00:44:27.240 like is there an indoor voice you could use Joe Biden like a little bit like he's got the whisper.
00:44:32.200 You have a microphone every once in a while. But you're so like the mere fact that he continues
00:44:37.960 to refer to black people as boy, black men, grown, accomplished, billionaire, millionaire,
00:44:42.760 black men is that boy, that boy. My God, it's showing like he is he's of a certain age and they
00:44:50.480 know it. And then they're like, why? Why isn't there black enthusiasm? Maybe it's because this
00:44:55.480 huge pattern you want us to credit you for being the most woke, diverse, you know, but we can see
00:45:02.320 how you think and talk about black people because your filter has gone away now that you're 200.
00:45:07.800 That's that's exact. That's right. Yes. And woke is when it comes to how it relates to the black
00:45:14.100 community is white liberal academic ideas from Harvard, Princeton and Yale that seek to control
00:45:20.160 black America. And the more we can get that message out, these are abstract, weird, postmodernist,
00:45:27.760 unproven fringe ideologies that started in the 1960s by Herbert Marcuse, Michelle Foucault and Jacques
00:45:35.220 Derrida that are then being put towards black America so that they can be controlled for political
00:45:40.780 purposes. It's not about liberation. It's not about empowerment. It's not about rebuilding these
00:45:45.980 sort of communities. It's about it's a repurposing of the same thing that happened in the 1860s,
00:45:52.680 early 1900s, which is white Democrats controlling the black communities. I think we're starting to
00:45:57.640 see black America wake up to it. That's my hope. That's my prayer. And time will tell.
00:46:03.440 Well, maybe L cool. J K will help people say maybe he's offended enough. He will join the Candace
00:46:13.280 Owens revolution. The blacks say we've had enough about it's better not enough. There's so much to go
00:46:20.280 over. We're going to pick up the issue of immigration. We're going to talk about how Pete
00:46:24.000 Buttigieg completely dropped the messaging on this. Hillary Clinton out there talking about how it's
00:46:28.780 very disturbing to hear these politicians tells lies with impunity. And then we'll get to Bob
00:46:33.860 Menendez, New Jersey's finest and the gold bars found in his home. It's what a news day. Stay
00:46:40.960 tuned. Charlie Kirk is with us the whole show. Don't forget, you can find the Megan Kelly show

00:47:03.520 My guest today, Charlie Kirk, founder and CEO of Turning Point USA in amazing organizations doing
00:47:11.580 so much good and host of the Charlie Kirk show. Just FYI, I remember when I was in college and law
00:47:17.660 school, there was nothing like this. You know, like there might've been like a college Republican
00:47:21.180 club, but like nobody went and it was not well publicized. There was no large, strong organization
00:47:26.880 saying it's okay to be over here. You know, there are millions of us. You're not alone. You know,
00:47:31.920 all you had back in my day was like this uniform reinforced message that if you wanted to get ahead
00:47:37.560 in life, if you wanted good grades, if you wanted your professors to like you, you had to be a lefty
00:47:41.880 and you had to repeat the lefty talking points. Yep. So, I mean, I just love this organization.
00:47:45.960 It's just a reminder. And I've, I've spoken to young people in it myself at your events and elsewhere
00:47:50.440 who are for once, they just feel like they have other people who are their age, who feel the way
00:47:57.680 they do about a lot of these issues instead of feeling completely untethered, judged and ostracized.
00:48:03.920 God bless you for what you do, Charlie Kirk. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. So here we go on the subject.
00:48:09.040 I don't want to leave just the unelectability problem that Joe Biden's facing right now,
00:48:12.460 because there's one other point I wanted to make on it. And that is the voters see it. And like,
00:48:16.920 we've seen this white house do repeatedly when their agenda is failing, they blame it on messaging.
00:48:22.700 You see, the problem is like, we just need to do a better job of showing people how amazing we are
00:48:28.700 of like reminding them how everything that's good in their lives is from us. Here's just a taste of that
00:48:34.740 as Biden's campaign manager was, um, asked some questions on CBS the other day. Watch.
00:48:40.500 I think he's too old to be president right now. Like he doesn't know what's going on right now.
00:48:45.960 I see him diminishing as far as his energy and the public
00:48:49.680 life. I mean, it's like he had to drink a monster drink or something just to stay awake.
00:48:57.720 You know what I mean? Like he's really just very tired and the job is arduous. So, I mean,
00:49:02.920 you need someone with a little more energy level.
00:49:04.620 I think he needs to be in front of voters to show that he's not the sort of doddering
00:49:10.440 old man that the Republicans are trying to make him out to be.
00:49:14.520 What do you make of all that?
00:49:16.360 Well, you know, I think that it's important we continue to show the work that the president's
00:49:20.980 doing day in and day out. Um, the most recent trip that he took overseas to the G20, I think
00:49:26.500 it's a perfect example of, um, you know, the kind of schedule that he continues to keep.
00:49:33.040 They're dead. They're dead. If that's, that's their plan and that's their, their woman in charge
00:49:37.900 of the plan, they're dead.
00:49:40.060 So, I mean, look, I've been on air force one and I could tell you that it's not a challenge
00:49:44.460 to fly an air force one anywhere. Okay. So, I mean, it's beyond first class, it's beyond flying
00:49:49.320 private. You got, you know, people on your own, you know, anything you need, little appetizers,
00:49:54.140 whatever, not to mention entire quarters for the president. That's their reelection pitch.
00:49:57.940 Hey, the president flew on air force one to Asia. Okay. Give us four more years. That that's the
00:50:03.440 pitch. No, this is first of all, I just want to reemphasize this point. There's, there's something
00:50:08.540 brewing here, Megan. And there's a lot of people that want to see Joe Biden removed at the top level
00:50:14.320 of the Democrat party. That was, they could have thrown away those soundbites at CBS news. I mean,
00:50:19.640 come on CBS news is not a news organization. They're a Democrat super PAC that happens to have time
00:50:24.020 on, you know, the network schedule, but yet we see this on CNN now CNN last week or week and a half
00:50:29.340 ago, they aired this two minute thing of all of Joe Biden's lies over the last five to seven years.
00:50:34.980 Like what? Who asked you CNN to all of a sudden become a news network? No, there is somebody
00:50:40.220 pushing behind the scenes. It could be Valerie Jarrett. It could be Barack Obama. It could be
00:50:44.000 Laureen Powell jobs. It could be the Democrat donors of Reed Hoffman or Alexander Soros. We don't know,
00:50:50.040 but there is certainly a, let's just say a war room that has been developed somewhere that is,
00:50:55.780 are lobbying these networks that are starting to call shots and they're trying to get Joe Biden
00:50:59.660 to step out of the way. And they're always going to say it's the messaging. Why do they have to say
00:51:04.480 that? Because they will never actually admit that the policies themselves, their ideas are a cancer to
00:51:10.880 the American Republic. It's just, we have to message it better. You know, we have to try to convince
00:51:15.000 working class people or any person that 10 million illegals is a good thing. And it is a
00:51:20.360 stimulus to your nation. And we just have to message them that, you know, double digit inflation
00:51:25.260 is, is a great thing. And that goes to show that they think their plan is just to own the media
00:51:33.640 narrative and the airwaves. But the second part of this is to shut up the people that dare criticize
00:51:40.140 them is call them disinformation artists, kick them off the social media, you know,
00:51:45.880 try to suppress the flow of information. And thankfully, Megan, thanks to shows like yours
00:51:50.200 and our podcast that we don't have to rely on the main networks to get our message out anymore,
00:51:54.940 is that the main networks, no matter how much they try to spend for the regime,
00:51:58.180 they've lost significant power since 2020.
00:52:02.140 Mm hmm. Yeah. Thank God. Well, I mean, that, that requires me to play the Hillary Clinton soundbite,
00:52:07.820 where I have to tell you, she is a top Democrat is deeply, deeply concerned about liars in politics,
00:52:14.520 Charlie, deeply concerned. Check it out.
00:52:17.300 The only way we're going to get through this, Jen, is by defeating them. You know, people say to me all
00:52:22.280 the time, what can we do? And I say, well, you can vote. What else? I said, that's the most important
00:52:27.280 thing. That's the one. That's it. You get up there, you vote, and you vote for people who
00:52:31.820 actually want to get things done and don't traffic in lies and falsehoods and hatred and divisiveness
00:52:37.740 that's what you can do to help our country. Don't traffic in lies. Vote for somebody who
00:52:43.340 doesn't traffic in lies. I mean, like, like this president who says the border's secure,
00:52:47.320 whose administration is telling us the border's secure, like her, like her, who says there was
00:52:52.160 nothing in the emails and that was a non-story and nothing happened in Benghazi either. And I mean,
00:52:55.980 we could go down the list. If there was a word I would never use as a Clinton, it's traffic.
00:53:01.560 Let's just put it that way. Given what Bill Clinton may or may not have done with Jeffrey Epstein.
00:53:05.860 Anyway, putting that aside, let's not bury the lead. They're launching a whole new Clinton
00:53:09.340 global initiative, right? So, I mean, the band is getting back together, right? Let's go raise all
00:53:14.900 this charitable money. I know it sounds wild. Don't be surprised if Hillary Clinton tries to
00:53:20.120 weasel her way back into the presidential type conversation. Her entire life since Wellesley
00:53:25.980 College has been about her becoming president of the United States, including her marriage with Bill
00:53:30.920 Clinton. But yeah, I mean, how is dodging sniper fire Hillary in Iraq? How is that one? Or how about
00:53:36.820 the bleach bidding emails? What with a cloth? Or yes, of course, the Benghazi stuff. Hillary Clinton
00:53:43.260 doesn't just lie for a living. She maneuvers the entire political landscape in the most Machiavellian
00:53:50.700 way of any person we have seen the last 40 or 50 years. It is power for power's sake. The ends justify
00:53:56.040 the means. And quite honestly, if that's the best the Democrats have right now is deploying Hillary
00:54:02.700 Clinton, lecturing us about lying while she's going to go raise another couple hundred million dollars
00:54:07.200 to make it vaporize and disappear in a third world country. I feel pretty good about our chances.
00:54:12.440 It's not going to be Hillary. I agree with you more and more. It doesn't seem like it's going to be
00:54:15.940 Joe. It's not going to be Hillary. Maybe it's going to be Pete Buttigieg. They fell in love with him
00:54:20.440 last time around. He's now in a very important role, Secretary of Transportation. And he was out
00:54:27.640 there and asked over the weekend about this massive immigration problem, where we are now at record
00:54:32.760 levels of 10,000 illegals coming over the border a day. A day. A day. And so let's see how he handled it.
00:54:41.380 Was the Biden administration caught off guard by this latest surge of migrants?
00:54:45.520 What you saw was the administration, as always, responding as needed to conditions,
00:54:50.880 being proactive where necessary. Were you caught off guard, though?
00:54:54.360 Look, the president did what needed to be done. And often that involves a rapid response,
00:55:00.040 like the rapid response that this administration directed. But also what we see is a political
00:55:05.080 dynamic where some people seem to prefer that the problem continue rather than to do something
00:55:09.660 to actually solve it. Yes, that person is your boss.
00:55:15.520 I am convinced he is chat GPT. I'm convinced. Like, there's nothing you could tell me otherwise.
00:55:21.860 It's as if I was just please answer as if it was like programmed. And I wrote this down
00:55:26.960 conditions to proactively have a rapid. No one talks like this, Megan. No one. I don't care who
00:55:32.620 you are. He wasn't even saying anything. Well, you have to have the conditions to proactively
00:55:37.640 have a rapid response. Like, hello. Like, is there anything there that isn't like some sort of like
00:55:43.400 robotic like automaton? And it's just like my programming does not allow me to answer the
00:55:49.340 question. But we have conditions to proactively have a rapid response. Yeah, I've never heard
00:55:55.980 anybody in any leadership position not speak like that unless I'm trying to get an answer from an
00:56:01.440 artificial intelligence chat box or from Kamala Harris, who does do that often. But yeah, she's
00:56:06.900 she's a different version. So on the border, the situation I'm or we're joking because it's laugh
00:56:11.840 or cry. But I mean, it truly is dire. It's dire. And I feel for these families who are dealing with
00:56:16.640 it. I agree with the plan from some of these southern state governors to to bus them north to
00:56:23.000 the sanctuary cities and west out to California so that they have to deal with it. But it's not just
00:56:27.840 those those Republican governors. The sitting president is busing the migrants to places like
00:56:33.860 New York and elsewhere. So like they're being bussed to places that need to feel the pain in
00:56:39.040 order to change public sentiment on this issue. Griff Jenkins was down there for Fox News on the
00:56:44.220 southern border over the weekend. He posted this on Saturday. He's doing a report, doing a live shot
00:56:49.240 with Representative Tony Gonzalez as these immigrants from Venezuela. Cut through or come through the razor
00:56:57.100 wire right on camera. Watch this. Just as we're talking, you can see a gentleman is literally
00:57:05.980 navigating, negotiating this razor sharp wire with a child every single day. And it's sad. It breaks
00:57:12.440 your heart. I mean, the track that these people have made, they should never have to have to start
00:57:16.860 that track down. He's leaving Venezuela for economic purposes. That is the situation in Venezuela
00:57:25.120 is such a dire situation. And he's not going to qualify for asylum because he's he's seeking
00:57:29.580 economic persecution. That is not a reason to qualify for asylum.
00:57:33.460 No, it's not a reason to qualify. None of these people, virtually none has an actual asylum claim,
00:57:40.240 but we're pretending. And by the way, Charlie, what we did when Title 42, the thing that let us
00:57:45.020 keep them out, just saying COVID, COVID, COVID, there'll be no asylum for you. We lifted it in May.
00:57:49.680 And in order to like try to keep the numbers down, which worked literally for one month,
00:57:54.020 we said, go through this legal process, download this app, apply formally. And then when you get here,
00:58:00.320 we're going to give you an ankle bracelet to keep track of you. And we'll go through the proper
00:58:04.240 hoops. All of that's out the window. All of it. Nobody's getting ankle bracelets. We don't have
00:58:09.340 enough CPB. We have we haven't the staff. We haven't the ability. We haven't the desire.
00:58:13.480 So they're everywhere. They're in the United States. We will never get our hands on these
00:58:17.280 people again. There doesn't seem to even be a willingness to do it. And we've got a president who
00:58:23.620 can't understand the difference between black and Hispanic, who's calling people boy,
00:58:28.020 who's tripping and falling. Like, I don't know if it's just a matter of incapacity to deal with
00:58:33.400 the issue or just total unwillingness. But either way, we're actually we're truly at a crisis level.
00:58:39.800 I think they want it, Megan. I mean, they've said many times that they think that as if they can
00:58:44.200 make America closer to a third world country, it helps the Democrat Party. And I hate to be that,
00:58:48.020 you know, politically naked about it. But that's exactly what they've said. The Castro brothers have
00:58:51.520 said it. Joe Biden even has said it in that Hispanic speech where he confused blacks and Hispanics.
00:58:56.560 He said that, you know, 26 percent of all kids are Hispanic and the American culture is Hispanic
00:59:01.800 culture. And when I went down to Yuma, Arizona recently, the Border Patrol told me, Charlie,
00:59:06.400 we are being told by our higher ups to facilitate the entrance of these people into the United States.
00:59:12.160 And, you know, it's it's interesting. The gentleman that you showed on TV television that came all the
00:59:17.140 way from Venezuela, he's going to get a piece of paper to have some sort of court date for asylum.
00:59:22.140 He's not going to show up. And so, yeah, his court date might not be approved,
00:59:26.880 but he's just not going to show up. And then he'll just have another kid here and that kid will
00:59:30.580 become an American citizen. And there you go. That person is there permanently. And so this is a
00:59:36.000 deterioration of our sovereignty, the rule of law. And I mean, the excuses they make as to why to come
00:59:42.940 into the country. And I mean, the Venezuela one, I do I do find a little bit hilarious because Joe Biden
00:59:49.020 recently just allowed 500000 Venezuelans to stay here. So I say, oh, wait, so left wing communism is
00:59:55.600 a humanitarian health crisis. Interesting. Got it. So, I mean, the other stuff they say, climate change
01:00:00.620 and all that. The Venezuelan one actually have some sympathy because that's exactly what they want to
01:00:04.300 make America into. They want to nationalize fossil fuels and get rid of them. They want to take away
01:00:08.580 private property, take away the guns and turn us into a third world dystopia. But Megan, I will just say
01:00:13.560 this is not incompetency. This is not their inability to govern. This is willingness. They
01:00:20.080 want them in the country because either chaos makes them more powerful or they see a political
01:00:26.020 future that helps the Democrat Party as America becomes more like a third world nation.
01:00:31.280 You know how whenever you meet somebody who's a naturalized U.S. citizen or is here on a green card
01:00:36.820 from Cuba or what have you, one of those one of those countries that was communist or socialist and
01:00:41.800 they fled and they got here, they're all Republicans. Like they get here, they're like,
01:00:47.060 oh, we don't want executive overreach. We don't want the government telling us how to live our lives.
01:00:50.940 I just wonder whether the Venezuelan thing is going to backfire on these Dems. Like they may root,
01:00:56.760 you know how they want to keep out all the Cuban refugees, but they want to open up the border
01:01:00.460 to everybody. I really wonder how that's going to work out for them. President Biden is like,
01:01:06.360 that was the one thing he tried to say to the Hispanic caucus. He's like, look at me,
01:01:09.040 I'm letting in all the Latinos. We have that. It's soundbite six. Listen.
01:01:14.500 We're significantly expanding legal pathways for entry so businesses can get the workers they need.
01:01:19.760 Families don't have to wait for a decade to be together. I've also directed my team to make
01:01:25.760 historic increase in the number of refugees admitted from Latin America.
01:01:29.480 Oh, it's historic. It's absolutely historic. He's proud of it.
01:01:35.360 He's proud of it. He wants them here and legal pathways. That means he's going to give amnesty
01:01:39.840 to people that are border jumping and breaking into our country. And I have to keep on reemphasizing
01:01:46.160 this. The asylum claims are trash. These people are not fleeing legitimate humanitarian crisis.
01:01:52.260 Okay. It's an insult. They could stay in Mexico. Yes. Of course they can.
01:01:58.400 Yes. And this is sponsored by the cartels. These people give their life savings as a form of human
01:02:05.080 slavery and trafficking. And by the way, that video you're showing right now, Megan, I just have to
01:02:09.660 say, these are fighting age males. Okay. This is not, these are not families that are coming across
01:02:14.800 every single one in that image right there are young men that are coming because then they're going
01:02:19.060 to send money back to the country that they're coming from. Right. So they're going to do,
01:02:23.200 um, I believe it's called remittances, right? Where they send back tens of billions of dollars back
01:02:28.600 to the country of origin. And look, immigration at times was an advantage to the Democrats because they
01:02:34.440 were able to play on people's hearts and compassion and emotions. It is no longer an advantage for the
01:02:40.360 Democrats because this is a question of order, a question of law, a question of standards. And the
01:02:45.940 Democrat party wants complete bedlam. They do not want a border period. There is no border right now
01:02:51.960 that 10 million illegals will be in America by the end of Joe Biden's term. We consider that a
01:02:57.840 disaster. Joe Biden considers that an accomplishment. And if, and future Democrat voters here's, uh,
01:03:04.300 that's right. I think the Eagle, is this the Eagle pass mayor, uh, down in Texas, which has just been
01:03:09.640 overwhelmed. I mean, they're, they're getting an entire city worth of illegal immigrants or so-called
01:03:16.740 migrants coming into their city, uh, a day. This guy's a Democrat, I believe. Listen to him.
01:03:22.660 Does the president bear some of the responsibility for the crisis in your city?
01:03:28.780 I'll be honest with you. I believe 100% he does bear some responsibility, uh, for this crisis. I haven't
01:03:36.100 heard from anybody in the administration. Uh, the president hasn't put out of the state, a statement,
01:03:41.100 the vice president. I haven't heard from anybody. Nobody has bothered to call me anyone in the city
01:03:46.720 staff saying, Hey, this is the federal government. We know what you're going through. We're worried
01:03:51.180 about you. This is our plan of action. Nothing. We're here abandoned. We're on the border. We're
01:03:56.160 asking for help. This is unacceptable. Please just enforce the laws that are on the books.
01:04:02.060 We're a nation of laws. This poor guy. He is a Democrat. He hasn't, he hasn't even heard from
01:04:08.260 vice president Harris, who, as you just pointed out is supposed to be running point on the immigration
01:04:13.000 problem. Nobody cares that they want it. They want it and they're co-sponsoring it and they're
01:04:20.860 facilitating it. And it very well might be the federal government is co-sponsoring the largest
01:04:25.580 child sex trafficking operation that we've ever seen. Megan, it takes 40 seconds at most to do a DNA test.
01:04:31.880 When a family unit comes to the border, 40 seconds, four zero. And we stopped doing that.
01:04:36.740 It's inexplicable. And we have, we have evidence after evidence that some of these kids are not
01:04:41.800 related distantly to the people that are bringing them across the border. That's, that's at the very
01:04:47.660 least trafficking and potentially sex trafficking. But why would the Biden regime not do that?
01:04:53.080 They've never had to answer for that. And by the way, I just want to isolate rapes of the women
01:04:57.600 that are happening. Yes. Which if, if you go down to Yuma, you go down to Eagle Pass,
01:05:03.180 you got on a Hollis. I've been to many of those places. They have things called rape trees,
01:05:07.520 right? I hate to be graphic, but this is where a lot of the women that go across the border are
01:05:12.840 raped by the cartel people before they come across the border. It is well known in standard operating
01:05:18.320 procedure where anybody, if they're, if they tell their family, their friends, that they're going to
01:05:22.680 make the voyage to try to break into America. They give the women birth control and the day after
01:05:28.980 pill to travel with across the border, because chances are they will be raped along that voyage.
01:05:34.720 This is not humane, Megan. This is not some sort of massive movement of people that want a better
01:05:39.960 life. This is widespread, immoral carnage. This is chaos. And the media is not covering it all. I mean,
01:05:46.320 the media is the, the, the most that they'll do is Aaron Burnett saying, well, do you think Joe Biden
01:05:52.520 is at all risk? Of course he's responsible. He's the president of the United States.
01:05:57.780 Yes. I mean, he has told Congress won't do anything. Congress won't do anything. It's like,
01:06:02.700 Oh, just stop it. Your party controls the Senate. Like who, who are you kidding? You haven't even
01:06:07.840 tried. You haven't led, you haven't pushed anything through. No, but what they are doing,
01:06:12.680 and this is making people very angry is Joe Biden is spending hundreds of billions of dollars to
01:06:17.460 Ukraine, lecturing us about that invasion while we are being invaded. You call it an invasion. I
01:06:22.860 would, you could call it, you know, just a, a, a roar of people. You could call it a migrant crisis,
01:06:27.920 whatever it, it is. It is our, it is the duty of our leaders to secure our nation before a foreign
01:06:34.140 nation. And quite honestly, voters are starting to see like, wait, why are we sending all this money
01:06:39.000 abroad for a no wind war while our own nation is being completely and totally overrun? And it is an
01:06:45.740 insult to every single person that has come here legally. No, he's very worried about the security
01:06:51.180 of the Ukrainian border and not at all about the security of our border at all. This is why the,
01:06:57.460 the support and that this was reflected in those polls. We kicked off the show with the support amongst
01:07:02.180 all parties for what's happening in Ukraine is going off a cliff. The American people understand
01:07:07.680 that we have priorities here at home. And while it's fine to say we can do both, that's been vice
01:07:11.860 president Mike Pence's message. We can do both. We can do both. Great. Then let's do both. Let's see
01:07:16.620 that. We're not seeing that. So this is why people have had it. It's like, we appear to have limited
01:07:21.880 funds and we appear to want to spend them to help the people of Ukraine and not at all the people of
01:07:26.360 Texas or even the people of New York. And, and sadly, what's happening now with tax dollars in New York is
01:07:31.120 they're convincing the feds. Okay, let's give us money or let's, let's push through, um, the ability
01:07:36.440 for these quote migrants to work so that people who got here legally, who are waiting the six months
01:07:42.060 before they can get any sort of work papers, they just, everybody else has jumped the line right in
01:07:46.340 front of them. All the, all the people that broke the law go right in front of them. They take the jobs
01:07:49.960 and these people are like, what, what the hell am I following any of these rules for? And it only
01:07:54.000 encourages more people to cross the border. Now they're, now they're giving you work permits as soon as you
01:07:58.840 get there. Now you can get a job driving for Uber. As soon as you get there, we don't know who they
01:08:02.900 are. There's an increased number of terrorist linked people who now are going to pick our kids
01:08:07.420 up in their Ubers as they try to get home from their schools that are packed with immigrants
01:08:10.320 with 40 different languages being spoken. That's not America. So Kareem Jean-Pierre got asked a
01:08:16.960 question about all of this at the white house podium. Here's how that went. Sot five.
01:08:21.660 How many people coming into this country illegally is enough? President Biden.
01:08:25.720 Say that last one. How many people come, how many people illegally coming into the United
01:08:30.820 States is enough for president Biden? Enough for what? 5.9 million people have been
01:08:36.900 encountered illegally. I know the numbers, but enough for what? Enough just to stop the
01:08:42.420 flood. As I mentioned, this is a problem that's been around for some time now for decades, a broken
01:08:47.600 system. I see. I see. I mean, but oh, just at the smugness though. I mean, like, honestly, I won't
01:08:56.860 say it. Get out of public life, Kareem Jean-Pierre. I mean, just the attitude, like enough. What do you
01:09:02.380 mean? And she knows what he's saying. She knows exactly what that question is. And just the attitude,
01:09:08.300 the smugness, the self-righteousness. I'll leave it at that. I could say more, but I won't.
01:09:14.560 No, you're right. And I mean, and it's her boss. Like she's, you know, she's busy getting doing her
01:09:18.720 Vogue profile and worried about, you know, proving her bona fides as a black, lesbian, female press
01:09:25.620 secretary. Great. Great for you. The country's falling apart. Great. I'm glad you're black,
01:09:29.760 lesbian and on the cover of a fashion magazine. We got 6 million new people and you're saying enough,
01:09:35.500 enough for what? Like you're some sort of 14 year old taunting a teacher who asks you a question.
01:09:41.120 Yeah. She knows very well. All right. Let's talk about Bob Menendez because the story,
01:09:45.260 it's just, it's so, it's, it's alarming, but it's also pretty juicy. My God. So when this broke over
01:09:52.300 the way, I'm like, wait, what? So they found Bob Menendez, very powerful Democrat Senator from the
01:09:57.360 state of New Jersey and New Jersey, like Illinois has all the corrupt people. I mean, I'm sorry,
01:10:01.840 like all I'm from Illinois. You are right. You are right. Yes. They come out of Illinois and they
01:10:08.080 come out of New Jersey and then the people keep reelecting them. Um, Bob Menendez, after he sat
01:10:13.820 for a federal criminal trial on his other corruption charges and got a hung jury, didn't get acquitted,
01:10:17.800 but he got a hung jury. He was reelected. Oh my God. Okay. So anyway, he apparently he he's back
01:10:25.700 at it. They're saying that as a sitting U S Senator, he was cutting deals. He was helping
01:10:32.600 Egypt, which was in a meltdown over the possible erosion of the $1.3 billion. We give them in aid
01:10:41.300 every year. And that outwardly he was like, you know what? We may need to cut their aid. Egypt's
01:10:47.560 got a hot mess of a human rights record. And you know, I'm with my fellow Democrats who see this as a
01:10:52.620 problem, but that behind the scenes, he was, he was buddying up with some Egyptian meat seller
01:11:01.760 and trying to sort of grease the skids for the aid to continue and to make other benefits happen for
01:11:09.120 this guy among others. And that the, the feds, when they raided his home found gold bars that they had
01:11:17.260 watched the Egyptian guy actually buy one day. And then miraculously they wound up in Menendez's house
01:11:22.120 the next actual gold bars in his home. In addition to the bills, like the series of unmarked bills
01:11:32.320 found in his coat pockets, which were labeled Senator Bob Menendez, stupid ass criminal file.
01:11:41.180 Like you're going to go to all the trouble of getting me the bills, Charlie, you probably shouldn't put
01:11:46.640 them in the Senator Menendez. This is who they belong to. Just in case you were wondering in Senator
01:11:51.100 Menendez, and he's got a new wife who is also now indicted. There's some speculation that the whole
01:11:58.800 reason this woman may have married him could be to forge these alliances because I guess she's
01:12:04.440 relatively new. Who knows? But she's also indicted as are several people around him. The Egyptian meat guy
01:12:10.100 selling the kebabs. I don't know what's happening, but this is, this is dark, Charlie. I don't think he's
01:12:15.840 going to skip on this one. No, he's not stepping down. He's actually expected to announce his bid
01:12:22.480 for reelection today. And he might win. It's New Jersey. He he's going to, he's just going to do
01:12:30.200 the full Tony Soprano thing. So a couple of thoughts. First of all, Senator Menendez, we all know that if
01:12:36.780 you want to sell out America and get rich, you just have your coke head son do it for you. Okay.
01:12:40.600 You got to have some sort of distance between your action and yourself. This, this is really
01:12:46.760 something. So Menendez gets off on a hung jury and then he just dives right in to go be bought and
01:12:54.340 paid for by the Egyptian government. My favorite part of the indictment, Megan, is when he Googles
01:12:58.760 how much is a gold bar worth and how much is a kilo of gold worth. And as you say that in the jackets
01:13:06.780 that are labeled Menendez, they find cash all over the place. I'm going to be so interested just to
01:13:11.540 hear his defense here. Oh, no, no, no. You know, my house operated as a temporary, a gold depository
01:13:17.400 for my friends. And, uh, you know, I just, it's safe, you know, here it is. Here it is late Friday.
01:13:23.220 It is not lost on me. How quickly some are rushing to judge a Latino and push him out of his. Oh my
01:13:31.500 goodness. That's so great. That's great. You're all a bunch of racists. If you have problems with
01:13:38.960 me having gold bars in my home and piles of cash, $400,000 and selling out my seat on the Senate
01:13:45.480 foreign affairs committee, you're probably a white supremacist. You know what? When you fail to win
01:13:51.000 over AOC on that defense, you fail with regular Americans. Here she is responding on CBS's face,
01:13:58.620 the nation to that claim. I do believe that it is in the best interest, uh, for Senator Menendez to
01:14:04.760 resign in this moment. The details in this indictment are extremely serious. As a Latina,
01:14:10.040 there are absolutely ways in which there is systemic bias, but I think what is here in this
01:14:16.040 indictment is quite clear. And, um, and I believe it is in the best interest to maintain the integrity
01:14:21.960 of the seat. Uh, I want to emphasize that, uh, all people are, they must be extended the presumption
01:14:29.520 of innocence until proven guilty. I love how like she's speaking normally. She's from Westchester and
01:14:37.240 then she's as a Latina, like, okay. No, I know. It's just so nauseating. Like, got it. Okay. I mean,
01:14:43.380 as, as if you're, you know, you made the plight from Honduras, right? Got it. So no, but,
01:14:48.100 but it's, it, there's a couple of points on, I still believe though, that the indictment of
01:14:53.240 Menendez is part of a DOJ effort to try to protect the appearance of impartiality as they continue
01:15:00.840 their crusade against Donald Trump. I, I, they, they have to, it was so one-sided Megan,
01:15:06.960 the indictment of Bannon, right? The indictment of Douglas Mackey, all the January 6th stuff that
01:15:11.840 they were getting such pressure from Congress that they want to be able to say, Hey, come on,
01:15:15.660 we did the Hunter Biden gun indictment and Menendez were bipartisan. And of course they pick a senator
01:15:21.660 who had such ridiculously flagrant fraud. This is not a reach, right? This is not some sort of like,
01:15:27.600 well, I wonder if we have the evidence at trial to be able to do this. I mean, you got the halal guy
01:15:32.980 purchasing the gold bars. You have the gold bars there. You have emails, you got text messages going
01:15:38.100 back and forth. And I just want to, I want to just say this. Menendez got caught. It makes you wonder
01:15:44.940 how many other people in DC and both political parties are actively still doing this. They just
01:15:50.980 might be a little bit more sophisticated and not such an idiot as Bob Menendez. You know, instead
01:15:56.160 of taking the gold bars, maybe it's just, Hey, hire my son or hire my cousin or my uncle and put them
01:16:02.320 on this board. This is what, what is the most alarming outside of the money and all that is that
01:16:07.640 he was reconfiguring us foreign policy for bribery. I mean, only Joe Biden comes to mind as someone who
01:16:15.920 has done that recently. So here's just a little bit more on what he is alleged to have done.
01:16:22.280 Here it is. They say the indictment list, several instances in which Mr. Menendez is said to have
01:16:26.800 told his wife that he intended to approve arms sales information that she then passed on to a friend
01:16:33.580 because they wanted, they wanted the money for, for arms sales. But there was a question about whether
01:16:38.040 we were going to block them at, on the committee that he was on. Um, and so he's saying to his wife,
01:16:44.820 I'm going to approve the arms sales to Egypt, which Egypt would have been very happy at. Um, so then she
01:16:50.380 then passed that information on to a friend, Wael Hanna, an Egyptian American businessman in New Jersey
01:16:57.900 who owned a company that certified halal meat and who then passed that information on to Egyptian
01:17:04.600 officials. So the wife goes to the meat guy, who's Egyptian American, who then goes to the actual
01:17:09.620 Egyptian officials to say, you're good on the arms sales. Don't worry. And that Mr. Hanna, H-A-N-A,
01:17:16.860 however you pronounce that, rewarded the Menendez's with cash, gold, and other bribes,
01:17:22.400 according to, uh, the prosecutors. And then they say that Menendez also, hold on,
01:17:30.800 jumping ahead in, uh, let's see in, in another indication of the importance Mr. Menendez held
01:17:36.060 for Egypt. The Senator met with someone whom the indictment describes as his senior in Egyptian
01:17:40.440 intelligence official at a Washington hotel in June, 2021. The day before that official was to meet
01:17:45.760 with other senators who were expected to emphasize the human rights problem with this guy. Mr. Menendez
01:17:51.720 sent his wife an article that outlined the expected questions that this guy was going to be getting
01:17:57.640 asked by other senators, which she then forwarded to another Egyptian official, according to the
01:18:03.500 indictment, adding in a message, this way you can prepare your rebuttals. And then they, then they say,
01:18:10.520 okay, um, news reports from the time show that Abbas Kamal, Egypt's intelligence chief,
01:18:18.040 who's widely regarded as the country's second most powerful man was visiting Washington that week
01:18:22.900 when he was scheduled to meet with members of Congress. Two days after Menendez's meeting
01:18:26.640 with the senior official, Mr. Hanna, the meat guy went shopping for 22, one ounce gold bars.
01:18:33.760 According to the indictment, federal agents later found them at the Menendez's home. I mean, you really,
01:18:39.620 you cannot make this stuff up. It's absolutely stunning. And so we'll see whether he withstands
01:18:46.840 this or not, but I, I agree with you. It had to be to the point where it was this blatantly obvious,
01:18:52.380 right? They had really no choice, but to look into him. But one does wonder, do you think he's the only
01:18:57.780 dirty Senator? Nevermind if we expanded out to the house that's representing us right now.
01:19:02.600 No, he was just sloppier. And I mean, just so flagrant too. And it goes to show that this guy
01:19:09.660 obviously has, you know, some sort of strange psychological profile. Like, I mean, where he
01:19:15.740 almost gets a thrill out of it, right? As if, as if it's almost more about the game than it is the
01:19:19.780 reward, right? I mean, you have 400 and something thousand dollars of cash just stashed throughout
01:19:25.440 your house. And after he gets out on an incredibly humiliating process on a hung jury, he says, I
01:19:33.060 know, honey, let's go to the halal guy. I hear he knows the Egyptian officials because we need a
01:19:38.740 bunch of gold bars and cash all over the place. And I say this with zero, zero sarcasm. He still
01:19:46.700 might win reelection in the state of New Jersey. Oh my God, that is a nightmare. So Jeff Blahar,
01:19:52.460 he writes for national review online. He's funny. He made the same point writing. Okay. So the guy
01:19:57.060 scored a mistrial on a hung jury and the feds then eventually dropped the case against him in 2018,
01:20:01.540 just in time for him to be reelected to the Senate during a Democrat wave year.
01:20:05.540 Other politicians might've exhaled in relief and thought there, but for the grace of God, go I
01:20:10.580 and walk the line from that point on Menendez instead, apparently just got straight on back
01:20:15.980 criming. That's exactly it. It's like, honey, we got the green light. Let's go. Let's
01:20:22.440 do this thing. Yeah, it's exactly. And so there, there, there's something psychologically,
01:20:27.600 not, not totally functioning there. I mean, and you see it as if he, not, not that he feels above
01:20:32.460 the law. It's as if his purpose, his fulfillment was in doing something clandestine and illegal
01:20:40.560 and kind of in the shadows. And yeah, that, that is, um, that's really, really dark when you think
01:20:46.520 about it. And because I want to know more about her. I was, she, who involves their wife in there,
01:20:52.540 you know, like what, why is she contacting the meat guy? And they are, I guess, relatively
01:20:57.100 recently together. I don't know. I feel like maybe there's something going on there. Who knows? No
01:21:01.020 evidence of that so far. We'll find out more as the feds pursue the case. Charlie Kirk stays with
01:21:05.860 us. Don't go away. Quick break. And we're back to CK. Travis Kelsey has been in the news. He's a big
01:21:16.140 football player. Um, I don't even know who he plays for. Is it Kansas city? There's two Kansas
01:21:20.440 city chiefs. Okay. And he has decided to use his fame and power to try to push the Pfizer COVID vaccine
01:21:30.220 on us. He went out there. Well, here's the video. Travis, did you know you can get this season's
01:21:37.020 COVID-19 shot when you get your flu shot? Oh, two things at once. Two things at once.
01:21:44.680 Two things at once. I'll have the two things at once, please. Now back to two things at once.
01:21:55.000 Two things at once. That's not two things at once. Mom.
01:22:00.220 Travis ask about getting this season's COVID-19 shot when getting your flu shot.
01:22:05.780 Oh God. Showing off his little bandaid. I mean, it's weird how there was no asterisks about like
01:22:12.020 any of the significant side effects, especially for the young men who probably look up to Travis
01:22:18.320 Kelsey. Yeah. The question is what will break his heart first, his new relationship with Taylor Swift
01:22:24.900 after the COVID shot that remains to be seen. So they're both are in the business of breaking
01:22:30.600 hearts. Yeah. Look, I mean, it's, he just did it for money, obviously. And I mean, I used to be a
01:22:35.460 really big fan of Travis Kelsey and here he is trying to put a manly man spin on Pfizer, but this also
01:22:41.520 goes to show how desperate Pfizer is. And you're trying too hard if you have to produce a advertisement
01:22:47.140 like that. And by the way, you know, I watched for my NFL football yesterday, they ran this ad
01:22:52.160 nonstop, nonstop propaganda. And you are not even allowed to mention the side effects or anything
01:22:58.780 that happens with the MRNA gene altering shot that they call the COVID shot. But you know, this goes
01:23:04.440 to show that basically anyone is for sale for a number big enough. Um, and let's also just say
01:23:09.660 Travis Kelsey, looking at you and knowing how you perform at a very, very high level, you're not
01:23:14.580 exactly at a risk group for COVID. What, why, why are you peddling this or pushing this forward?
01:23:20.940 This is about profits for Pfizer period, both for the flu vaccine and for the COVID shot. Like the
01:23:28.980 stats show that if you are a 33 year old NFL football player, you are not going to die from
01:23:35.620 getting COVID period. But Travis Kelsey is for sale evidently. And, uh, I wonder how much it really
01:23:43.080 disturbs me because it's, it's, I recognize that the vaccine has done, especially elderly people,
01:23:48.340 some good, but the people there, it's not the elderly people who are watching Travis Kelsey.
01:23:53.960 Kelsey. My mom is not watching Travis Kelsey. It's young men who are looking up to him. And that is
01:24:00.200 exactly the age group, those teenagers into their young twenties who are most at risk from two of
01:24:07.600 myocarditis from the vaccines and least at risk from COVID. And so like, if it were me, like,
01:24:14.360 would I, as somebody who that group listens to go out there and push that vaccine? I wouldn't,
01:24:20.100 I'd be like, you know what, I'm going to find another product. I'm going to push subway sandwiches
01:24:24.120 or I'm going to, I don't know, talk about weightlifting or I'm going to talk about sneakers or
01:24:28.380 like, but this vaccine is, does he not know? Or do you think he just doesn't care?
01:24:33.520 I don't know who he is. Um, you know, his judgment remains to be, you know, seen as far as he really
01:24:41.880 knows how to make rational choices. I mean, he's a very successful football player and has been
01:24:45.360 earns a ton of money, but I mean, this is, it's disturbing because it's so obvious why Pfizer
01:24:51.380 is doing this. I, in recent memory, post COVID never remember enlisting NFL football players,
01:24:57.360 a list NFL football players to push forward a vaccine. Like that's very, very strange and weird.
01:25:04.080 Pfizer stock is down. That is a fact. And they have to try to rally support to try and get the
01:25:10.000 shot because they literally have vials and doses expiring in certain parts of the country because
01:25:14.700 it's so it's not popular. People know it and they don't want it, but you're right. The average
01:25:18.680 demographic of who watches NFL football, especially who follows Travis Kelsey is mid 20 something male
01:25:24.600 that, that according to the data, according to the science from the CDC and the FDA, those are the
01:25:31.200 people that need the shot the least, even if the shot were to work and did not have negative side
01:25:36.960 effects, including the flu shot. So Pfizer is a profit seeking enterprise subsidized by the
01:25:42.660 American taxpayer. They're able to operate with legal impunity because of the law that was passed
01:25:48.400 under Ronald Reagan that basically says you cannot sue vaccine manufacturers. And now they're able to use
01:25:53.820 their excess billions of dollars of profits to hire a list NFL football players and try to increase
01:26:00.720 vaccine, um, like vaccine enrollment, if you will, this fall. I find it rather repulsive to be
01:26:08.700 perfectly honest that a supposedly alpha male person like Travis Kelsey is, um, is pushing a vaccine
01:26:15.060 towards a demographic that doesn't need it. Not to mention, I mean, Megan, if I remember correctly,
01:26:19.240 you mentioned, you know, on an episode recently that the vaccine may or may not have contributed to
01:26:23.220 an autoimmune issue. I hear this every single day on how the gene altering shot has hurt people's
01:26:28.920 health. And we've never been able to have a serious discourse or dialogue on it.
01:26:33.500 And you know, it's weird. Like YouTube is probably in the process right now of adding its little weird
01:26:38.000 addendum to our discussion right now for COVID information consult, which fine YouTube, you know what?
01:26:43.300 Forgive me, Charlie. I'm going to go very on on Christian. And this is my response to YouTube.
01:26:47.380 Sorry. It's a certain male gesture for those of you listening at home. That's what I have to say
01:26:51.780 to go slap your dumb ass label on my conversation, which is a hundred percent more accurate than
01:26:57.120 anything you're going to see over at that dumb ass website that you keep pushing people to.
01:27:01.480 So, okay, I get an asterisk and you get an asterisk for having this discussion on TV.
01:27:05.580 Tell it to my rheumatologist. Okay. Tell it to my rheumatologist that there's absolutely,
01:27:09.500 okay, I guess there's no vaccine side effects that we have to worry about, but Travis Kelsey,
01:27:13.360 he's not going to get an asterisk on his endorsement. That commercial can air everywhere
01:27:18.240 asterisk free. Don't you worry. Don't worry about young boys getting myocarditis, getting severe
01:27:26.160 heart scarring. According to Dr. Vinay Prasad, who's done amazing work on this. He's absolutely
01:27:31.800 credible. He's not some nutcase. He's not even controversial. He's been putting on pediatric
01:27:36.660 cardiologists or pediatric cardiologists. No, you can just put it out there, put it on the Superbowl.
01:27:42.520 If you want. And with impunity, YouTube's not going to slap any dickhead labels on that. Sorry.
01:27:49.020 I'm very not Christian at all. Male gestures and the D word. Sorry, Charlie, but it pisses me off.
01:27:56.000 No. And Travis Kelsey should be shamed and humiliated for this because he obviously hasn't
01:28:01.000 thought this through. People look up to him and a lot there. If people follow his advice, the data
01:28:06.500 shows that there might be some harm because of it. And not just myocarditis and pericarditis
01:28:11.540 developing autoimmune issues. But what is the upside? We're acting as if getting the virus is
01:28:16.780 a killer. And the data shows that if you're healthy and you eat fine and you're not obese
01:28:22.760 18 to 50, that with even mild interventions, you're going to be fine when it comes to COVID.
01:28:28.320 This is sick care. This is the vaccine propagandists and manufacturers that are trying to put forward
01:28:34.700 unnecessary interventions of inoculation when you say, OK, I had COVID. The antibodies are better
01:28:41.200 than the vaccine. And I don't have to worry about myocarditis, pericarditis or suddenly dropping dead
01:28:46.980 at a football practice.
01:28:48.480 Well, you know what else is going to happen if you get myocarditis and you're stuck with this? I mean,
01:28:52.000 it's not like heart scarring goes away just overnight and you're fine. It's that you're stuck
01:28:56.260 with it. You could actually be compromised. There's been long studies about what what that does to
01:29:00.900 you over the long haul. I mean, the worst risk, of course, is that it's fatal. But there are a lot
01:29:05.420 of risks short of that. They don't have Travis Kelsey's $50 million deal to help with the costs of
01:29:13.520 that care. Most of the people listening to him, you know, they're going to have to deal with the
01:29:17.300 side effects of this that weren't disclosed, that weren't highlighted, that were totally ignored.
01:29:21.100 And then with the ongoing health problems that come from it without his gazillions, not to mention
01:29:26.880 if he winds up marrying Taylor Swift, who was there cheering him on because she's super
01:29:30.740 woke now. Yeah, this big, good, good luck with that, pal. Yeah, good luck. Yeah, that's not
01:29:36.580 going to get married. Yeah, I'm going to say that you're you're not exactly proving that you make
01:29:40.940 the best decisions, Travis. So Pfizer and Taylor Swift, that's quite a combo. Didn't he also endorse
01:29:47.260 probably obviously super white woke. I mean, he's super woke. He's with Taylor. He endorsed Bud Light
01:29:53.300 like post controversy and he's pushing the Pfizer back. So there you go. Yet another football player
01:29:58.620 who really, really, really, really wants us to know his left wing politics. OK, speaking of left
01:30:03.280 wing politics, I haven't gotten to this story and we must. Ibram X. Kendi's Mr. Rogers empire
01:30:12.900 has collapsed. He's essentially been outed as a do nothing potential fraudster as he's now under
01:30:21.300 investigation at Boston University. It is conducting the investigation into his center for anti-racist
01:30:28.120 research after complaints emerged about not just the culture, but the financial management of all
01:30:35.840 the money, says Seda Grundy, a BU professor who worked at the center. Quote, I don't know where the
01:30:44.660 money is. I do not know what happened to it. And they can't get Kendi, according to the people who
01:30:49.900 worked there to respond, to meet with them, to offer an accounting. And by the way, the university
01:30:55.100 only began the accounting or the investigation once the paper got a hold of the story. And the
01:31:02.820 Globe, the Boston Globe contacted them and said, here are the twenty five fifty two hundred questions
01:31:08.220 we want answers to about where the money is, how it's being managed and so on. And now he's basically
01:31:13.640 just denying all the charges and asking people to look over here, look over here, nothing to see here.
01:31:17.600 My favorite part of this entire story when it comes to Ibram X. Kendi is how Boston University
01:31:23.920 treated him with kid gloves. And they come out and they say, well, it's the grant management
01:31:27.920 practices. They mean the money is what they mean and the treatment of the money. And where did the
01:31:32.280 money go? But also Boston University writes this press release. It's very clear they don't want to be
01:31:37.140 called a racist by Ibram X. Kendi is that they say we have a lot of respect from Ibram X. Kendi's work
01:31:42.020 and we hope these allegations aren't true. Ibram X. Kendi's entire life's work is around weaponizing
01:31:48.540 the word racist, a word that he can't define, by the way, a remarkable clip. If you look at it
01:31:52.900 to try and make money, Jack Dorsey gave the center ten million dollars, the center for research on
01:31:59.020 anti-racism. So this is all in the allegation phase. I would not be surprised, though, if the money went
01:32:04.800 poof away. Very similar to Patrice Cullors and the Black Lives Matter global network where they bought
01:32:10.580 a mansion for black creation. Maybe I hope we learned our lesson. I hope so. Yeah, exactly.
01:32:17.840 It's unbelievable. And, you know, one by one, these sort of heroes on the left and these woke
01:32:24.800 left wing causes fall. You know, you mentioned Patrice Cullors, BLM, Kendi. Now we've seen it over
01:32:30.140 and over again. Be careful. Be careful where you give your money, because he has no experience
01:32:36.880 running these organizations. He's got one experience, and that's fanning the flames of
01:32:40.460 racism in America. Yep. That he does really well. Taking your money and doing something valuable with
01:32:45.700 it. Something else. Charlie Kirk, thank you so much. It's great to see you. Thank you. You too,
01:32:51.140 Megan. All right. All of you, please come back tomorrow. We're going to have
01:32:54.340 Carrie Brejean Bowler here. And boy, is there a lot to go over with her.
01:33:00.140 Thanks for listening to The Megan Kelly Show. No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
