00:00:00.480 Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show, your home for open, honest, and provocative conversations.
00:00:11.420 Hey everyone, I'm Megyn Kelly. Welcome to The Megyn Kelly Show. It's Friday and there's a ton of news happening.
00:00:17.900 There's the little matter of the elections happening on Tuesday.
00:00:21.140 And the latest, Dr. Oz is now leading John Fetterman in the real clear politics averages of polls that hasn't happened until right now.
00:00:31.080 Here we are post-debate. And is the debate finally catching up with John Fetterman?
00:00:35.440 But this morning, Fetterman is celebrating an endorsement from California billionaire Oprah Winfrey.
00:00:42.300 She helped make Dr. Oz, but has now completely abandoned him, sticking the knife in and backing his Democratic competitor.
00:00:50.020 Will that help in an election where the top issue is whether people can afford to buy groceries?
00:00:55.440 Seriously, is there any Oprah effect left over?
00:00:59.040 Honestly, it's not 2008 with Barack Obama running when she endorsed him over the woman, Hillary, even though women had made her entire career.
00:01:08.280 It's 2022. I don't know. Is there an Oprah effect or isn't there in the state of Pennsylvania? We'll find out.
00:01:14.060 And with just days before the election, the left is absolutely losing its mind.
00:01:19.280 The messaging coming out of these leftists is genuinely upsetting. It's offensive. It's disgusting.
00:01:26.840 Like The View's Sonny Hostin, who decided now would be a good time to compare white women who dare to vote Republican to cockroaches.
00:01:34.760 They're like cockroaches voting for a raid.
00:01:38.260 Can you imagine if anybody else said that? Can you imagine if a white woman said that about black voters voting a certain way?
00:01:44.500 It's absolutely disgusting. Over at MSNBC, historian Michael Beschloss said that if the GOP wins next Tuesday, children are going to die.
00:01:53.540 OK. Oh, God, this is good to know. Glad I listened to him.
00:01:56.620 We've got two of the most outspoken political minds in the country to react to all of this hysteria, Dana Lash and Jason Whitlock.
00:02:04.540 Very excited to have them both. We begin with Jason, who is host of Fearless with Jason Whitlock.
00:02:09.880 And he truly is on Blaze TV regarding the firestorm engulfing the NBA this morning.
00:02:15.940 Jason, how are you? Great to have you back.
00:02:22.040 I'm great, Megan. Thank you for having me.
00:02:24.380 All right. Actually, we'll get to the NBA in one second.
00:02:26.360 But can I just ask you about the Oprah thing? What do you think of that?
00:02:29.080 Like, it's not 2008. I just don't know. Are people going to do what Oprah tells them to do?
00:02:34.520 No. What does she even know?
00:02:38.560 Well, I guess she knows Dr. Oz, but what does she know about Pennsylvania and things like that?
00:02:42.980 I don't think it makes a hill of beans a difference who Oprah supports at this point.
00:02:50.940 Her platform isn't as persuasive as it was in 2008 as it relates to Barack Obama.
00:02:56.420 And I just with all the health issues Fetterman has, I'm not sure how anybody in their right mind could endorse him.
00:03:04.120 Well, it's like so she knows Dr. Oz. She backed Dr. Oz for 20 years.
00:03:09.080 Like, she can't come out now and say he's no good. Like, if he was no good, why was she in business with him?
00:03:15.680 Why did she help launch his career? Why was she such an endorser of his?
00:03:20.220 Well, I'm sure this comes down to, in Oprah's mind and her supporters and the people that probably pushed her to do this,
00:03:28.920 Fetterman could cast a deciding vote and codifying Roe Wade as the standard.
00:03:34.640 And probably it's probably all abortion related. And, you know, that's the Democrats platform.
00:03:41.180 Killing Babies is their platform and Oprah's in support of that platform.
00:03:45.780 It's crazy because, you know, we'll get to Sunny Hostin, too, but she came out and claimed to be pro-life.
00:03:51.340 But she's out there calling women who vote for Republicans cockroaches voting for raid.
00:03:57.340 It's like so abortion really actually isn't the driving issue for millions and millions of Americans, including women, including women of child birthing age.
00:04:06.060 And it seems like many on the left can't quite comprehend that.
00:04:09.160 All right, let's move on. I'm dying. I've been dying to talk to you about Tom Brady.
00:04:12.740 But there's a bigger controversy engulfing the sports world that we've got to start with.
00:04:18.480 And that is Kyrie Irving. So Kyrie Irving, Kanye, of course, is in the news.
00:04:23.220 We'll talk about that, too, for his comments about Jewish people over and over and over.
00:04:28.460 Now, Kyrie Irving kind of steps in the same bowl of hot water by tweeting out.
00:04:36.080 It started with just one tweet really hasn't said anything other than refusing to apologize until late last night.
00:04:42.440 He just tweeted out a tweet that promoted this movie.
00:04:47.960 What is it? Hebrews against Negros, Negros, Negros.
00:04:52.500 OK, so I guess it's controversial. I haven't seen it.
00:04:56.420 I know you tried to watch it, but that's all he did.
00:04:59.240 And now all hell has rained down on him.
00:05:01.380 And he has officially been suspended from the Nets, from the NBA, NBA unpaid for at least five games.
00:05:08.660 So what they're saying is that he hasn't specifically apologized.
00:05:14.760 And when he faced the press yesterday, he wasn't directly apologetic enough.
00:05:19.960 Again, late last night, he did write down the words.
00:05:22.180 I apologize. It's getting very arm twisty.
00:05:25.760 But here's what he said and didn't say that led to his five game suspension.
00:05:30.540 Again, this is from yesterday. It's SOT1.
00:05:34.160 Are you sorry for the hurt that your posts caused people?
00:05:39.820 I take my responsibility for posting that.
00:05:43.580 Some things that were questionable in there, untrue.
00:05:48.320 Like I said, in the first time you guys asked me when I was sitting on that stage,
00:05:51.380 I don't believe everything that everybody posts.
00:05:54.240 It's a documentary.
00:05:55.860 So I take my responsibility.
00:05:57.860 Adam Silver wanted to hear the word, I apologize.
00:06:01.500 Or in your mind, you said, I didn't mean to cause any harm.
00:06:04.480 Were you apologizing or did you not?
00:06:06.500 I didn't mean to cause any harm.
00:06:07.740 I'm not the one that made the documentary.
00:06:09.980 What are the specific things in the documentary that you don't believe are true
00:06:13.900 and that you don't believe represent your own promise?
00:06:17.700 I think some of the criticism of the Jewish faith in the community, for sure.
00:06:23.040 Some points made in there that were unfortunate.
00:06:26.020 Do you have any anti-Semitic beliefs?
00:06:30.660 Again, I'm going to repeat.
00:06:32.440 I don't know how the label becomes justified because you guys asked me the same questions over and over again.
00:06:38.300 But this is not going to turn into a spin around cycle of questions upon questions.
00:06:43.560 I told you guys how I felt.
00:06:45.100 I respect all walks of life and embrace all walks of life.
00:06:49.180 That's where I sit.
00:06:50.060 I think what people want to hear, though, is a yes or no on that question.
00:06:54.540 Yes or no.
00:06:55.260 I cannot be anti-Semitic if I know where I come from.
00:07:00.960 By the way, the name of the film was Hebrews to Negroes, colon, wake up black America.
00:07:07.300 So after that, he got punished.
00:07:09.920 And then on Instagram late last night, he wrote the words, I apologize, and went on from there.
00:07:15.320 What do we make about all this?
00:07:16.380 This is absurd that I follow Kyrie Irving on Twitter and Instagram.
00:07:28.420 The Hebrews to Negroes documentary, when he tweeted that out, I had no idea.
00:07:34.360 You know, over Twitter, I follow five, six hundred people.
00:07:38.180 I can't, other than what I tweet, I can't keep up with anybody else and what they tweet.
00:07:43.520 And if I had saw the tweet, I wouldn't know what he was talking about.
00:07:48.960 And so it's the controversy and the pretending of offense that has driven attention to this documentary.
00:07:58.500 And that's the only reason why I attempted to watch it.
00:08:01.600 It's three and a half hours.
00:08:02.940 I watched about 75 minutes of it.
00:08:05.420 The thing is awful in terms of quality.
00:08:08.440 It's impossible to understand what's going on.
00:08:12.120 It's not compelling.
00:08:13.080 It's boring.
00:08:14.300 I was forcing myself to watch it.
00:08:17.420 I never, in the 75 minutes I saw, as much as I could follow, I couldn't find anything anti-Semitic in it.
00:08:25.220 But most people haven't watched the documentary, won't watch the documentary.
00:08:31.440 If they make the mistake of watching the documentary, they're going to be bored out of their mind and fall asleep.
00:08:38.000 It's a harmless documentary.
00:08:40.380 The controversy is, if there's anything causing harm, it's the controversy and the overreaction to a man putting out a tweet about a documentary that, oh, he's got 4 million followers.
00:08:56.940 I can guarantee you 3.99 million of them either didn't see it or didn't know what he was tweeting about.
00:09:04.180 And they certainly weren't going, oh, well, Kyrie tweeted out this documentary.
00:09:06.960 I better go watch it.
00:09:08.180 That's not how Twitter works.
00:09:09.540 Everybody knows that there's a game being played to silence Kyrie Irving.
00:09:14.580 And in my view, it's about his stance on vaccines and COVID.
00:09:19.760 And he wouldn't play ball with the NBA and hop on board with Big Pharma as it relates to the vaccine.
00:09:26.960 Big Pharma controls television.
00:09:28.520 They're doing most advertising in television.
00:09:32.040 And Big Pharma wants Kyrie Irving and everybody else to comply and obey and hop on board with whatever messaging they want to put out.
00:09:44.940 And he won't do it.
00:09:46.420 And so they figured out a way to get revenge on this guy.
00:09:49.820 And it's through this ginned up controversy about a documentary that no one, no one has watched.
00:09:55.620 I haven't watched it.
00:09:57.160 I mean, if you've watched 75 minutes of this three and a half hour thing, you've watched a hell of a lot more than I have or most of the people weighing in on this have.
00:10:04.280 We're told it's anti-Semitic.
00:10:05.980 Maybe that's true.
00:10:06.680 Maybe they get to that in hour three.
00:10:09.560 But he he's all he did.
00:10:12.160 He didn't endorse the film.
00:10:13.400 He just tweeted out the link to the film, which you pointed out in a piece.
00:10:16.680 It has been released by Amazon like you can get it right now on Amazon.
00:10:20.280 He yesterday, again, was very he wasn't apologetic.
00:10:26.620 He was kind of like, look, you know, I didn't exactly mean offense, but I tweeted it out.
00:10:32.140 And, you know, you keep asking me these to weigh in on these words, like trying to label me is basically what he's saying.
00:10:38.720 And I don't accept your label.
00:10:40.600 And, you know, it's like shades of Kanye, who found himself in a similar situation and was kind of like, I don't accept your labels.
00:10:50.280 But Kyrie's done very little compared to all the statements Kanye's made.
00:10:54.540 Here's just a little bit more of Kyrie Irving yesterday sounding off about himself.
00:11:00.020 This is kind of interesting.
00:11:00.940 So, too.
00:11:02.600 I'm just here to continue to expose things that our world continues to put in darkness.
00:11:09.240 I'm a light.
00:11:10.340 I'm a beacon of light.
00:11:12.100 You guys investigate my life every day.
00:11:15.560 And you justify it by serving your own purpose, which I honor.
00:11:22.260 I would like the same respect in return, figuring out just like anyone else.
00:11:26.820 So, please keep that same energy when we're talking about anti-other things.
00:11:32.080 Because just because I post a documentary doesn't mean I'm anti-Semitic.
00:11:35.900 And it doesn't mean that I'm automatically standing with everyone that is believing in that.
00:11:40.340 So, it's unfortunate timing that we're in, but I'm glad that I could stand on the truth because I'm not afraid of these mics, these cameras.
00:11:47.640 I used to be looking everyone in the eye and telling the truth that I'm proud of who I am.
00:11:52.940 Anything label that you put on me, I'm able to dismiss because I study.
00:11:57.000 I know the Oxford Dictionary.
00:11:59.120 You look it up, right?
00:12:00.500 One of the biggest mistakes I had in being a kid was not knowing European or Western language.
00:12:06.780 Until I started looking it up and understanding the definitions and why they say,
00:12:10.920 if you want to trick a black person, put it in a book.
00:12:14.380 I was wondering my whole life why they said that.
00:12:16.820 Now I'm 30 years old and I know reading is a superpower.
00:12:19.320 Because it helps me understand where I'm going and where I come from.
00:12:22.200 Like a tree with roots.
00:12:25.180 What's going on there?
00:12:27.000 Look, Kyrie Irving is most likely, although he has not stated it directly,
00:12:33.460 he's a follower of the black Hebrew Israelites.
00:12:37.220 And that's a religious sect, a group, it's kind of disjointed,
00:12:42.240 that believes American black people are the true Jews.
00:12:49.080 It's not a belief that I share or find accurate or even relevant.
00:12:54.540 But this man and these people have the right to believe whatever they want to believe.
00:13:00.760 This country was founded on freedom, religious freedom.
00:13:04.100 Yesterday on my show, I talked about Patrick Henry and how his statements about his Christian faith
00:13:11.120 and how this nation was founded on Christian principles.
00:13:14.020 But, and that's why we grant religious freedoms to everyone else.
00:13:20.440 You can believe whatever you want.
00:13:22.540 Far-fetched, as stupid as you want to be, you can do it.
00:13:25.720 That's what America has been about and needs to remain to be about.
00:13:30.120 Because it's a slippery slope we're going down.
00:13:33.200 If people get to define, well, that's out of bounds.
00:13:36.840 You can't believe that.
00:13:38.680 We're already seeing the slippery slope.
00:13:41.040 If you think that something screwy went on with the 2020 elections, you're not allowed to think that.
00:13:47.600 And we're going to come up with this false narrative that January 6th was as bad as Pearl Harbor
00:13:53.380 and it's one of the worst days in the history and we're going to put people in jail for years over a mostly peaceful protest
00:14:01.820 for people who think that the election wasn't up and up, on the up and up.
00:14:08.760 And people shouldn't be allowed to think that.
00:14:11.900 Ashley Babbitt shouldn't have been killed because she thought that.
00:14:14.760 And so this slope and those of us that call ourselves, and again, I'm not, those of us is a tricky word for me.
00:14:25.240 But anyway, people that are political conservatives, Trump supporters, it's like they want us and those,
00:14:35.540 because I am a Trump supporter, although I've never voted, I am a Trump supporter and I could care less who that bothers.
00:14:41.220 Everything Donald Trump does, I don't agree with.
00:14:45.160 And so I'm sure that Kyrie has the right to his Black Hebrew Israelite views or what he thinks about that documentary.
00:14:55.260 He doesn't have to believe every word in it.
00:14:57.880 He can take out what the stuff that he thinks is appropriate and good for him and support that the same as I do when I support Donald Trump.
00:15:06.820 Would I prefer Donald Trump, do less things over Twitter and have this position or that position?
00:15:12.140 But overall, I support Donald Trump.
00:15:14.540 I'll take all the bad because I think it's outweighed, in my view, by the good.
00:15:18.580 He probably feels that way about his religion.
00:15:21.320 And so I'm a lifelong Christian.
00:15:24.900 I used to go to Lewis, to hear Lewis Farrakhan sermons when I was in college.
00:15:32.040 I didn't endorse everything Lewis Farrakhan said.
00:15:36.040 Lewis Farrakhan would be talking about white people are the devil.
00:15:38.540 And at the time, I had a white girlfriend.
00:15:42.260 I didn't believe, I didn't think white people are the devil.
00:15:44.840 But what I did like about Lewis Farrakhan is he kept telling Black men to take responsibility for your communities, your family, yourself.
00:15:52.980 Quit looking for handouts and stand up and be a man.
00:15:56.320 That attracted me to him as a Christian, lifelong, a Christian now.
00:16:02.340 He has some repugnant thoughts, but there were some things that he did believe in that I certainly believe in to this day.
00:16:11.480 Men need to take responsibility for themselves, their families, their children, their communities.
00:16:17.240 And they need to stand up and quit being cowards and quit begging and looking for the government to take care of.
00:16:24.480 So I'm going to defend Kyrie Irving and his right to think whatever he wants and to practice whatever religion he wants.
00:16:34.580 Because one day they're going to come after my religion.
00:16:39.260 One day.
00:16:42.660 I hate quoting the ADL because they've just turned into a left-wing mouthpiece.
00:16:48.420 This is the group.
00:16:50.040 Yeah, the Democrat Party.
00:16:51.580 Yeah, this is the group that labeled Ben Carson a terrorist.
00:16:54.400 But for what it's worth, they say Black Hebrew Israelites are not the same as Black Jews or Jews of color.
00:17:01.280 And they point out not all Black Hebrew Israelite organizations are anti-Semitic or extremists.
00:17:08.740 So maybe he's a Black Hebrew Israelite who's not anti-Semitic.
00:17:13.080 I don't know.
00:17:14.480 All I know is he tweeted out a link to a movie, at least the first 75 minutes of which you've seen and do not think are anti-Semitic.
00:17:21.640 And I presume if you saw it, you would call it out.
00:17:25.380 So he wants – and he went on camera and said, I posted a documentary.
00:17:30.100 We just played the side.
00:17:30.820 It doesn't mean I'm anti-Semitic.
00:17:32.060 And it doesn't mean I'm automatically standing with everyone that's believing in that.
00:17:35.580 And he actually went on to say in that quote that he doesn't agree with everything in there.
00:17:40.760 And they said, what do you think – well, specifically, you don't believe that or it doesn't represent your morals.
00:17:45.180 I think some of the criticism of the Jewish faith in the community, for sure.
00:17:48.400 Some points made in there were unfortunate.
00:17:49.880 So we really don't know, but we're really parsing this guy down.
00:17:53.500 My God.
00:17:54.040 It's like, well, what exactly do you believe?
00:17:55.480 What don't you believe?
00:17:56.240 Say it this way.
00:17:57.260 Say it exactly how we want you to say it.
00:17:59.800 Right?
00:18:00.140 It's the Vax.
00:18:00.900 It's all a smokescreen.
00:18:02.240 It's the Vax.
00:18:02.280 So you don't think he'd be getting this if he were pro-Vax.
00:18:04.440 And Big Pharma's in bed with all these sports leagues.
00:18:09.480 And look, the reason why no one is challenging Amazon on this.
00:18:13.800 Amazon's big television advertising.
00:18:16.460 It's a trillion-dollar global corporation.
00:18:21.060 The NBA is not going to cross Amazon because they want those advertising dollars.
00:18:26.440 That's why they're not going to hold Amazon responsible.
00:18:29.220 Adam Silver, the commissioner of the NBA, isn't saying, hey, well, Amazon, this documentary
00:18:33.980 is anti-Semitic.
00:18:34.920 It's on your platform.
00:18:36.560 You're profiting from it.
00:18:38.420 They're not asking Amazon to take it down.
00:18:41.620 They're going after the NBA player who refused to take the Vax, has been proven right for not
00:18:49.440 taking the Vax.
00:18:50.400 And what they're trying to do is send a message to the rest of the players in that league.
00:18:55.140 Don't you follow Kyrie's lead.
00:18:58.040 Don't you start having a mind of your own and not obeying the orders we hand down.
00:19:05.800 We're paying you, as Charles Barkley said, and Charles Barkley's a friend of mine.
00:19:09.260 I love Charles Barkley.
00:19:10.460 But his criticism of Kanye was idiotic.
00:19:13.720 Let me play that, Jason, just so you get the audience up to speed.
00:19:16.460 We have Charles Barkley.
00:19:19.080 So we'll play that.
00:19:19.820 I do want to point out, Amazon, they banned What Killed Michael Brown, the film by Shelby
00:19:24.520 and Eli Steele.
00:19:25.900 So that was a bridge too far for Amazon.
00:19:27.300 Great documentary.
00:19:28.360 I watched all of that.
00:19:29.700 Amazing, right?
00:19:30.480 That was too much.
00:19:31.760 But I guess this one's fine.
00:19:33.160 But it's also the reason why Kyrie can't play for five games.
00:19:37.240 Here's what Charles Barkley said, however.
00:19:38.880 He's on a different page.
00:19:39.780 Sot3.
00:19:41.540 I think the NBA dropped the ball.
00:19:43.860 I think he should have been suspended.
00:19:46.520 I think Adam should have suspended him.
00:19:48.320 First of all, Adam's Jewish.
00:19:51.140 You can't take my $40 million and insult my religion.
00:19:55.020 We have suspended people and fined people who have made homophobic slurs.
00:19:59.800 And that was the right thing to do.
00:20:03.000 I think if you insult the black community, you should be suspended or fined heavily, depending.
00:20:09.520 I saw they did the same thing to the kid in Minnesota this year when he made the gay slur.
00:20:13.620 I think you should get suspended or fined.
00:20:15.740 I blame the NBA.
00:20:17.340 He should have been suspended.
00:20:18.480 And their conversations are continuing with the Brooklyn Nets.
00:20:22.300 It's too late now.
00:20:23.360 If one of our players do something, they have the right, the team or the league has to do something immediately.
00:20:31.800 If you just give in to peer pressure, that's the problem I have.
00:20:36.360 This should have been handled already.
00:20:38.000 Let me ask you a quick question, Jason.
00:20:41.480 If Kyrie Irving had said, you know, I hate Jewish people or, you know, Jewish people are and then insert one of the horrible terms that have traditionally been used by Jewish haters.
00:20:53.300 Would you agree with what Charles Barkley said?
00:20:56.360 Would you agree that that kind of an opinion is fairly punished by the NBA and the Nets?
00:21:02.220 Yes.
00:21:02.720 As a Nets employee, if he had said something abhorably anti-Semitic, if he had made some kind of public statement like that, yes, he should.
00:21:11.980 That's embarrassing to the organization.
00:21:14.040 It puts the organization in the middle of a controversy.
00:21:18.140 It will offend some of their season ticket holders and fans.
00:21:23.720 Yes, they'd have every right to discipline him.
00:21:26.500 So we're arguing over whether he did.
00:21:28.100 I mean, like whether he did.
00:21:29.700 I wonder whether Charles Barkley has watched that film.
00:21:33.540 Well, first of all, if there are offensive things in the film and I'll take the people that made it all the way through and say there's some things in there that are offensive.
00:21:45.540 I don't care.
00:21:46.800 There are offensive things in virtually all movies.
00:21:49.900 Trust me, I go to movies and many of them I walk out of because there are things that bother me in them.
00:21:58.600 The LGBTQ transgender stuff that's now being forced in the narratives of nearly every show.
00:22:06.020 So I find it offensive.
00:22:07.700 I don't want it taken down.
00:22:09.500 I just choose not to engage and indulge in it myself.
00:22:13.300 I don't want the people that made the movies.
00:22:15.520 I don't want them shut down.
00:22:17.320 I don't I don't I don't want to be platform.
00:22:19.740 It's just not for me.
00:22:20.800 You know, we talked recently about the cancellation of Trevor Noah and relived some of his best slash worst hits.
00:22:29.940 And the Catholic Church was a favorite of his.
00:22:32.500 He reduced my church to the priest scandal and nothing more over and over and over.
00:22:38.880 He didn't get canceled for that.
00:22:40.320 He got celebrated for it now.
00:22:42.360 Well, and nor would I expect him to be canceled for that.
00:22:44.920 But you had a piece up talking about Bill Maher and his film Religious.
00:22:49.060 I think that's that was what it was called.
00:22:50.820 I saw it completely ripping on the Catholic faith, among others.
00:22:54.260 I think he took shot at the Mormons.
00:22:55.980 Never mind Book of Mormons, which is a show very popular show on Broadway, which I've also seen.
00:23:00.300 It's hilarious.
00:23:01.360 It absolutely pillories the Mormon faith as Bill Maher's film did.
00:23:05.760 The Christian faith.
00:23:06.600 You know, most of us can kind of laugh, but there is a difference, I guess, but, you know, between parody and humor and something more nefarious with an evil tone.
00:23:17.680 And again, I don't know whether this film does that, but the point is that art has taken evil, nasty shots at religion for a long, long time.
00:23:28.800 Bill Maher is one of my favorite comedians.
00:23:32.060 We don't agree politically.
00:23:33.980 Uh, I certainly, you know, as a Christian, I've written about his, uh, shots, you know, at one point he called all Christians deluded or delusional.
00:23:45.860 Uh, you know, I've certainly written about that, but I've never lost any respect for him.
00:23:52.180 Uh, never lost my enjoyment of his show.
00:23:55.560 And during the Trump years, it was really hard to stick with the guy because, you know, he's got a bad case of Trump derangement, but, but I've never wanted him de-platformed.
00:24:05.700 Uh, he has a right to have his opinion.
00:24:08.560 I disagree with him.
00:24:09.840 I'd rather, rather than censor people, I would rather engage, debate, defend my positions.
00:24:16.560 That, that's how we keep America strong.
00:24:20.080 If we're going to go down this line, this path of, hey, these are thoughts you cannot have.
00:24:29.220 Man, I, it's going to get all of us, all the people clapping their hands.
00:24:34.040 Eventually their thoughts are going to be made to be illegal and repugnant.
00:24:38.600 And you can't be associated with this person or that person.
00:24:42.360 The other thing is, okay, let's do women next.
00:24:44.520 Let's, let's line up the NBA players, the NFL players for that matter.
00:24:48.220 Let's do MLB and let's, let's talk about their views on women and see whether they pass this same test when it comes to their views on the ladies.
00:24:56.460 And not to mention crimes that a lot of these guys have been accused of.
00:25:00.380 And in some cases convicted of that's fine, right?
00:25:03.040 Like so many times we've seen these organizations cover for these guys when they beat up their wife or they beat up their girlfriend or they were accused of an attempted murder.
00:25:11.520 No problem.
00:25:12.760 But this like, okay, he tweets out a link to a movie that's controversial.
00:25:16.720 It just seems like, and, and I do think the Vax probably had something to do with it.
00:25:20.780 But I also think the fact that it came on the heels of the Kanye controversy, um, set him up for this.
00:25:26.740 Now you tell me, because I look at that situation and I find that a lot harder to defend,
00:25:32.140 though I know you have defended Kanye in a way.
00:25:35.940 Um, and I had a conversation with Jeremy Boring of Daily Wire about this a week ago today.
00:25:40.780 And he was kind of saying, look, the initial tweets, okay, they weren't, they weren't great,
00:25:45.940 but I can see how you might've thought, all right, he wasn't, wasn't perfectly worded, but let's move on.
00:25:51.840 But he's just so he's doubled down and tripled down and quadrupled down and quintupled down on his comments about Jews so many times now.
00:25:58.060 You know, he's shown us that this is a real belief he has.
00:26:01.180 I don't put him in the Kyrie Irving lane.
00:26:03.520 I don't know Kyrie's lane, but Kanye's made pretty clear.
00:26:06.920 In my view, he's got some very unfortunate and prejudicial views about Jewish people.
00:26:13.400 Am I wrong?
00:26:14.320 Do you not see it that way now?
00:26:16.160 No, I don't see it that way.
00:26:17.560 Um, I, I think Kanye is inarticulate as are most rappers.
00:26:24.840 Uh, I, I think they, uh, make generalizations and constantly in music.
00:26:34.900 Uh, I, I, I think that, uh, someone arguing that, uh, Jewish, secular Jews,
00:26:47.560 have an outsized influence in the music industry.
00:26:52.880 I don't find that a trope or anti-Semitic.
00:26:56.640 I, I, I find it more factual.
00:26:59.960 Uh, there are books written about Jews.
00:27:02.760 What does their religion have to do with it?
00:27:05.480 Well, it's not about their religion because we're really talking about secular Jews and
00:27:09.140 they're not religious.
00:27:09.800 Why isn't you mentioning it then, right?
00:27:10.920 Like if you were like the people who control the media industry or the music industry are awful
00:27:15.240 and they don't treat black men fairly, nobody would have, people, people might've said,
00:27:20.080 Oh, you're right.
00:27:20.660 Or you're not right.
00:27:21.160 But no one would have accused him of being a bigot bringing religion into it is what led
00:27:27.500 them there.
00:27:28.340 I don't think he feels like he's bringing religion into it because I think he thinks
00:27:32.840 he's talking about secular people who don't believe in God.
00:27:37.700 I think that's what he thinks.
00:27:39.340 Then why does he say that?
00:27:40.580 He keeps mentioning Jewish, Jewish, Jewish.
00:27:43.980 Well, uh, I can't specifically answer that question.
00:27:49.700 I know I've heard people say, what are we talking about Jewish?
00:27:53.340 Either you're a Jew or you're a not, or you're not.
00:27:57.380 Uh, but I can't answer that specific question.
00:28:02.240 I can just say that Dave Chappelle, uh, went down this path in his closer Netflix comedy
00:28:11.160 deal about what he believes are his interactions with his Jewish, the Jewish people he's worked
00:28:18.360 with in Hollywood.
00:28:20.260 Uh, and now Kanye comes in right behind him and now Kyrie Irving.
00:28:25.340 And I don't think the solution is, uh, to label these people under somewhere.
00:28:34.300 Well, we can't even engage with them.
00:28:36.120 They're anti-Semitic.
00:28:37.560 We can't, again, I'm for defending my positions and my beliefs, and I will engage with anybody.
00:28:45.020 Someone wants to say, Hey, uh, black people, your murder rate in your communities are astronomical.
00:28:52.260 I'm not going to call that a trope.
00:28:54.600 I'm not going to say it's racist.
00:28:56.840 I'm going to deal with that.
00:28:59.580 And we need to deal with that.
00:29:01.560 And so, you know, Ben Shapiro is came up facts.
00:29:05.680 Don't care about your feelings.
00:29:07.920 Uh, I believe in that.
00:29:10.080 And I believe that we should engage in any conversation, no matter how potentially hurtful
00:29:18.780 or people's sensitivities, feelings, or whatever, if it's based in some sort of truth, or if
00:29:24.640 it's not based in some sort of truth, come with the truth.
00:29:28.160 The light will, will root out the darkness.
00:29:30.880 The truth will prevail.
00:29:33.440 We shouldn't be afraid of any of these conversations.
00:29:36.380 And we shouldn't just be completely dismissive of people and their experiences, uh, in Hollywood.
00:29:44.520 I, I, I just don't, I just don't find what Kanye has done beyond the pale.
00:29:50.820 I disagree with JPMorgan Chase shutting him down.
00:29:55.400 I disagree with all the cancellation of Kanye West because he speaks inarticulate and, and,
00:30:02.280 and, and in particular for me as a black person, I've listened to music, denigrate black people
00:30:11.500 for 40 straight years, all of this rap, hip hop.
00:30:16.180 And I've listened to executives and the people in power in the music industry defend this,
00:30:23.520 defend this garbage that does real harm and denigrates black people.
00:30:28.540 And Kanye's tweets and some interviews with Lex, this is the bridge too far.
00:30:35.660 I mean, again, not to mention women.
00:30:38.760 Let's talk about rap and its messages on women.
00:30:42.700 I'm listening to rappers say, and Megan, I, you know, I don't want to offend your audience
00:30:47.960 or do something that's outside the lines, but this is what they rap about.
00:30:51.580 I hate niggas.
00:30:53.020 I'm a Nazi days low, very popular song celebrate.
00:30:59.460 This is a female black rapper video, everything.
00:31:03.260 I'm looking at Snoop dog murder was the case, a satanic song about making a deal with the devil.
00:31:10.480 And you can represent the Crips and the bloods and gangs that slaughter black people in black
00:31:18.120 communities.
00:31:18.820 You can make all kinds of music celebrating that.
00:31:21.440 And no one says a word.
00:31:23.920 Kanye tweets out something inarticulate, inartful, and, and the world must come to a stop.
00:31:30.680 I, I, I just can't go there.
00:31:34.120 I, I, I just, and, and, you know, that's fascinating.
00:31:36.740 I, I, I just, I just can't go there.
00:31:39.400 Let me squeeze in a quick break and we'll pick up this discussion on the opposite side.
00:31:42.340 I, I love talking to you because you always, I can't, you just comment every story from a different angle.
00:31:47.420 This is why they call you fearless.
00:31:49.740 More of the Jason Whitlock right after this.
00:31:52.020 Don't go away.
00:31:52.560 All right, let me just take a second, if you don't mind, to dive into the Kanye remarks, because I do think it matters.
00:32:05.440 I don't think that the side of reason should get so sick of cancellation and all the nonsense that's invented that we're not able to call out, you know, bigotry if and when we see it, right?
00:32:17.180 Like we have to be able to say, all right, that's a bridge too far.
00:32:20.320 And it's not just, I know you refer to the secular elites, but like coming after Kanye.
00:32:25.100 I mean, when Ben Shapiro, he's not a secular elite, you know, he's, he's a Jewish man.
00:32:29.960 He's an Orthodox Jewish man who's not in any way pro cancel culture.
00:32:35.400 And he's been calling out Kanye.
00:32:37.460 And I understand why.
00:32:39.120 I mean, Kanye made the original tweets about I'm going to death con three on the Jewish people.
00:32:45.000 And since then, there's just a couple of hits that my team refreshed me on.
00:32:49.940 He repeatedly blamed Jewish Zionists for his problems, including his issues with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and the bad press coverage he received over his tweets and statements, blamed his bad publicity on the, quote, Jewish underground media mafia, blamed his separation from Kim in part on, quote, Zionist media handlers surrounding her.
00:33:10.120 Um, now it comes out and I know you, you wrote a piece about a CNN piece quoting some anonymous employee who allegedly sued him.
00:33:18.460 I'm not going to go there because I don't, it's not fair to him to talk about some anonymous employee who came out and broke a nondisclosure.
00:33:24.360 Like, no, we're not doing that.
00:33:26.280 But, um, he's on camera talking about how a Jewish doctor misdiagnosed him.
00:33:33.640 Um, here, we'll play that.
00:33:35.060 And then, and then there's a second soundbite that I'm going to show too.
00:33:37.740 So here he is talking about a Jewish doctor.
00:33:39.700 Drove me to a point of exhaustion, which was misdiagnosed by a, I'm not going to say what race, what people, uh, doctor and what hospital and what media went to.
00:33:54.800 We know I can't say that.
00:33:56.240 It was a Jewish doctor that diagnosed me of having a disorder that would have had me on medication right now.
00:34:06.980 At a time like this, if I was on medication right now, then one pill could have been swapped out and it would be Michael Jackson and Prince all over again.
00:34:21.660 Honestly, that is, there, there's no way around it.
00:34:24.480 Like, why would he raise the doctor's religion?
00:34:28.480 Why?
00:34:28.820 I think, uh, if someone said that Jason Whitlock, a black man wrote X, Y, and Z, I wouldn't be offended.
00:34:43.880 And if they said Jason Whitlock, a Christian black man wrote X, Y, and Z, I wouldn't be offended.
00:34:51.360 Kanye, like most of America, most overwhelming majority of America has been programmed and trained into this racial idolatry and ethnic idolatry.
00:35:10.740 And idolatry is at the root of all sin.
00:35:14.500 Kanye West is flawed.
00:35:16.560 There's no question about it.
00:35:18.360 He's flawed and he lives in an idolatrous society that has made idols out of our skin color, our politics, virtually everything.
00:35:31.780 Food was an idol of mine and that's why I have been so overweight.
00:35:36.220 And it's just all these things we've placed as important.
00:35:40.080 And so he's speaking in a very idolatrous way that I find commonplace in America.
00:35:47.140 What do you mean?
00:35:47.780 Idolatrous of what?
00:35:48.960 I was with you until there.
00:35:50.900 We do idolize identity now.
00:35:53.580 Anything can be an idol.
00:35:54.920 And so they've identity politics is just idolatry run amok.
00:36:01.100 And so he's responding and acting in the way that all of us have been programmed over the last 60 years to when you see a person, you don't see an image bearer of God.
00:36:13.300 You don't see a brother in Christ or God, whatever.
00:36:17.880 You don't look at people as human beings.
00:36:20.980 You start, well, what is their identity?
00:36:24.000 Well, he's black.
00:36:25.220 He's white.
00:36:25.980 He's Jewish.
00:36:27.260 He's Italian.
00:36:29.100 He's this.
00:36:29.700 He's that.
00:36:30.340 And so he's talking in a way that has been normalized in modern culture.
00:36:36.980 Again, I find it sinful.
00:36:39.340 I find it inappropriate.
00:36:42.360 But I don't find it uncommon.
00:36:44.880 And so if someone says that Daryl Brooks, a black man, drove through Waukesha and killed a bunch of white people, they're just speaking facts.
00:36:58.820 And so if he's if his and I don't know because I don't know the details of Kanye's life.
00:37:03.660 But if a Jewish doctor did that or did whatever he's claiming, I just don't find it beyond the bill.
00:37:11.420 I find it very different.
00:37:12.480 That's different because the Waukesha thing happened on the heels of the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict, which in which they injected race repeatedly.
00:37:19.880 They had him killing three black men, which was a lie.
00:37:23.820 Kyle shot three white men, only one of whom died.
00:37:28.120 But, you know, the left had injected race into that trial in a way that was wrong and incendiary.
00:37:34.780 And then right after that in Wisconsin, where this all took place, we had a black man mow down a bunch of mostly white people.
00:37:42.260 I think it was all white people.
00:37:43.080 I have to go back and check at this Christmas parade.
00:37:46.160 So race, you could make the case, was relevant there.
00:37:49.180 What was the motivation?
00:37:50.440 This guy had written about a bunch of stuff that was angry about whites before he did the act and so on.
00:37:56.400 That's this guy's religion.
00:37:58.160 The doctor's religion has zero to do with any misdiagnosis.
00:38:02.820 To raise it is to betray, to to to show your own bias.
00:38:08.880 I buy that one.
00:38:10.360 I've got to tell you, like, I'm I'd be happy to defend Kanye if I felt the facts warranted it.
00:38:14.300 But to raise it there is is to espouse and show your own bias.
00:38:18.600 And he's Jewish.
00:38:20.220 That's how it sounds.
00:38:21.200 He's Jewish.
00:38:22.180 Like there's a there's a negative judgment attached to it, which is not what really the identity politics people are doing.
00:38:29.020 Although sometimes they make a fair point, Megan.
00:38:31.260 But but what I'll I'll say is that I think we all have biases.
00:38:37.980 We've all been programmed to have biases.
00:38:42.720 Kanye's biases.
00:38:44.120 Again, for me to be hypercritical of them, I would have to say that I'm incapable of having those biases.
00:38:57.220 And I'm not incapable.
00:38:58.720 And I know plenty.
00:39:00.960 And again, I'm not even I'm not reducing that to anti-Semitism or anti-Jew hate.
00:39:08.160 But there's no sin that gets done that I'm not capable of doing.
00:39:14.160 And so I've seen people.
00:39:16.840 My father was racist towards white people.
00:39:21.800 He did not like white people.
00:39:23.720 I love my father.
00:39:25.180 My father was a great person.
00:39:27.180 I wish that he had got moved beyond his racism and racial idolatry.
00:39:32.160 But again, I'm going to say we're in America.
00:39:37.040 People are going to think and say inappropriate things.
00:39:42.420 True.
00:39:43.220 True.
00:39:43.560 But they can also face consequences.
00:39:45.600 I'm just not.
00:39:46.960 If Kanye came out and said the terrible stuff.
00:39:50.080 I don't want Kanye to cancel.
00:39:52.500 But what what should the consequences be?
00:39:54.620 Like he's been talked to repeatedly on these radio shows and so on.
00:39:58.280 People trying to say like you try to understand what you're saying and why it's so offensive.
00:40:01.760 He's not going to be talked out of these things.
00:40:03.500 Why isn't it totally appropriate for Adidas to say that's not somebody we want to do business with?
00:40:10.520 I think that's if Adidas wants to go down that path, it's perfectly fine.
00:40:20.980 I just want them to be consistent.
00:40:23.960 And so I can find things.
00:40:26.020 Now you're on solid ground.
00:40:26.800 I can find things in Kanye's music more offensive to me, more offensive to black people that he should have been canceled for.
00:40:38.440 I can.
00:40:39.180 Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg were the Super Bowl halftime show.
00:40:43.660 I know.
00:40:44.400 Everybody's in bed with them.
00:40:47.520 Everybody's in bed with them.
00:40:48.600 And so, oh, but this is the bridge too far.
00:40:52.000 Him calling out a doctor that he had a bad experience with, but he can make music.
00:40:58.340 They can say, I ain't saying she's a gold digger, but she ain't messing with no broke niggas.
00:41:03.980 He can do that all day and we can celebrate it and love it.
00:41:07.540 And nobody cancel him.
00:41:09.220 There's no consistency.
00:41:12.820 And so if there's not going to be any consistency, we need to just shut our mouths, ignore him, tolerate it, whatever.
00:41:21.740 But there's just no consistency.
00:41:23.620 The crimes of these rappers.
00:41:26.080 Snoop Dogg is like America's prince.
00:41:29.900 He's doing ads with Martha Stewart.
00:41:31.700 He's in virtually every commercial.
00:41:33.960 His music is satanic.
00:41:35.420 And we're good with it.
00:41:39.320 No one's canceling him.
00:41:40.560 They all want to do deals with him.
00:41:42.460 And so that's where people are raising up saying, oh, and Kanye, this is too far.
00:41:48.600 We're going to cancel.
00:41:49.580 And I can't knock Jewish people for having a standard and for saying, you know what?
00:41:58.620 No, you ain't going to talk this way about us.
00:42:01.380 I can't knock them for that.
00:42:03.140 I wish that we as Black people had that kind of standard.
00:42:07.740 But we don't.
00:42:12.360 We don't.
00:42:13.340 We produce a lot of content, but we don't own the platforms or, you know, own the distribution of it and things like that.
00:42:23.640 And I'm not making an excuse for anybody that participates.
00:42:26.040 I've got 30 years of criticism of rap and the artist and what we've gone after all these guys.
00:42:34.660 They hate me.
00:42:35.140 Snoop Dogg has threatened me all of them.
00:42:37.080 I get it.
00:42:38.160 But I'm not for me because I've criticized the artist.
00:42:43.780 I've also criticized the producers, the owners, the distributors, the executives behind the scenes, the Lior Coens who have done interviews where they talk about, yeah, you know, this drug music and all that other stuff.
00:43:02.140 I'm doing that to cash a check.
00:43:04.300 I don't care about the community.
00:43:06.800 They acknowledge this.
00:43:08.240 Not in those exact words, but again, those guys need to be called out.
00:43:11.940 And what I would compel all people of faith, regardless of what kind of faith, Jewish, Christian, whatever, all people of faith, we need to call these people out and everybody that's profiting off of it needs to be called out.
00:43:26.580 And you don't mean these people.
00:43:28.320 You're like, you're not talking about Jewish people.
00:43:29.660 You're talking about people who exploit, for example, these rappers for all their worth, but sit back.
00:43:35.140 And as soon as, you know, they would they pick and choose their battles while they're dining out on them.
00:43:40.580 Claire, maybe I lost my train of thought.
00:43:43.520 What did I say about these people?
00:43:45.360 You just said we need to call these people out.
00:43:47.620 Just clarifying what you mean by these people.
00:43:49.980 The rappers, everybody in the music industry, the executives, the rappers, everybody that is profiting off of this garbage.
00:43:59.600 They all need to be called out.
00:44:00.860 Those of us of faith, regardless of what your faith is, you believe in God, you can recognize this music, this culture is satanic and it needs to be called out.
00:44:12.120 And I'm talking about anybody that believes in it.
00:44:13.920 You don't have to believe in the same God as me.
00:44:15.700 But if you have some sort of religious faith, whether it be Judaism, Christianity, Islam, whatever, we should be calling these people, the people, the black secular elites, the LGBT elites, the feminist secular elites, the progressive secular Jewish elites that are all perverting our culture.
00:44:40.980 They should all be called out by all of us.
00:44:45.220 And we shouldn't just pick and choose.
00:44:47.000 Oh, this guy personally offended me and a group that I'm beholden to.
00:44:52.260 It should be all of it because it's all satanic.
00:44:55.700 All of it.
00:44:56.260 One quick clarification.
00:44:58.280 Kyle Rittenhouse killed two people and shot a third.
00:45:00.900 Can I just ask you, I've got to go, so I have to keep it short.
00:45:03.460 But I am dying to get your thoughts on Tom Brady.
00:45:06.600 You wrote a great piece about him and the implosion of his marriage as his career now suffers a bit.
00:45:13.400 What are we to take away from the collapse of this marriage that had been so celebrated and admired?
00:45:20.640 I'm totally on Team Giselle here, which kind of shocks me.
00:45:25.480 But that's where I got to go.
00:45:27.340 Tom Brady, I think, has turned into a selfish entitled athlete.
00:45:32.600 And I think that Giselle had every right to expect this man to retire and move to a different chapter of their life where it was more about family.
00:45:46.140 He's refused to do that, to try to elevate his football legacy.
00:45:51.100 And I just think it's selfish and entitled.
00:45:55.380 And, you know, money and fame do that to us.
00:45:58.060 They make us all.
00:45:59.000 And again, I could make the same kind of foolish decisions as Tom Brady.
00:46:03.080 But I blame Tom.
00:46:05.780 This man has won seven Super Bowls.
00:46:08.880 He should be on to a different aspect of his life.
00:46:12.720 He should be, you know, meeting his wife halfway on this.
00:46:16.400 And look, I'm a patriarch.
00:46:17.780 People think I'm sexist and all that other stuff.
00:46:19.800 But at some point, you know, you've got to compromise and you've got to prioritize your family.
00:46:30.640 You've won a lot of football games, bro.
00:46:32.860 Move on.
00:46:34.200 Yeah.
00:46:34.640 I can't imagine letting your marriage collapse over.
00:46:39.700 Yes.
00:46:40.060 Okay.
00:46:40.340 You're.
00:46:40.760 An eighth Super Bowl.
00:46:41.400 It's your career.
00:46:42.860 But yeah, exactly.
00:46:44.300 He's already done all there is to do.
00:46:46.180 So to me, there seems like there must be more to the story.
00:46:48.900 But it's sad because they they were held up as a couple that seem very much in love.
00:46:52.640 And it just seems like a waste with with two kids and a stepson as well.
00:46:56.520 Jason, always interesting and always fearless.
00:47:00.280 Love talking to you.
00:47:01.200 Thank you so much for being here.
00:47:02.980 Thank you, Reagan.
00:47:04.380 All right.
00:47:04.660 And we're going to come right back with another fearless person.
00:47:06.800 And that is Dana Lash.
00:47:12.980 I'm joined now by Dana Lash, host of The Dana Show.
00:47:17.180 Dana, so good to have you back.
00:47:18.200 How are you?
00:47:18.900 I'm good, Megan.
00:47:19.740 Good to be with you.
00:47:20.460 Good to see you.
00:47:20.980 Yeah.
00:47:21.460 Good to see you, too.
00:47:22.560 All right.
00:47:22.840 So let's just start with this.
00:47:23.980 This just hit my desk.
00:47:25.920 Axios scoop.
00:47:27.800 Trump team eyes.
00:47:29.280 November 14th announcement.
00:47:31.180 This is by Jonathan Swan.
00:47:32.620 Former President Trump's inner circle is discussing announcing the launch of a 2024 presidential
00:47:37.800 campaign on November 14th.
00:47:41.220 Discussions have reached the point that allies are blocking off days in their calendars for
00:47:45.240 the week after the midterms and preparing to travel.
00:47:47.420 He has long planned to announce shortly after the midterms, even toyed with announcing before
00:47:52.260 November 8th, but now is reportedly getting ready to announce that he's in and that reportedly
00:47:59.740 is going to be on November 14th.
00:48:01.520 Do we believe this?
00:48:03.440 And what's your reaction to it if it's true?
00:48:06.900 I think with Trump, goodness, it's kind of hard to tell because I think he's gaming this,
00:48:12.400 which is smart because you want to stay out of it as long as possible.
00:48:15.720 And then when it could be because I think he provides kind of some cover for some of
00:48:20.400 these other candidates.
00:48:21.120 But at the same time, they can't really go at him if he's not officially in the moment
00:48:25.340 that he's in.
00:48:26.020 He becomes the boogeyman.
00:48:27.400 Everything that they're saying becomes true.
00:48:29.400 I don't I don't believe until I see it.
00:48:31.660 I until he's actually in and I see new merch rolling out.
00:48:35.680 I just don't know that I'm going to believe it.
00:48:37.940 And does he really honestly want to run again?
00:48:41.460 There are so many conflicting reports.
00:48:43.280 People say, oh, well, I know somebody in his camp and they say he doesn't or that he does.
00:48:47.560 So I think ultimately he's going to kind of which is smart.
00:48:50.460 He wants to wait and see, you know, what's going to happen in midterms.
00:48:52.580 It's not going to be just how many seats Republicans win.
00:48:55.900 It's going to be in those areas where maybe Trump lost some momentum back in 2020.
00:49:00.160 They're going to look at turnout.
00:49:01.380 They're going to look and see, you know, the areas where he went and campaigned for people
00:49:04.960 to see what his measure, his coattails, so to speak.
00:49:07.480 So I think that there's there's a lot of there's a lot of stuff that plays into it, but I'm
00:49:11.920 not going to believe it until I see it.
00:49:14.460 Yeah, same.
00:49:15.280 And I mean, it's interesting, like the thought of him going first would be smart to try to
00:49:19.940 dissuade anybody else.
00:49:21.240 Right.
00:49:21.520 Once the 800 pound gorilla is saying, I'm on it, I'm doing it.
00:49:25.760 A lot of other comers would say, I'm good.
00:49:28.180 I'm just going to sit back here until and unless he changes his mind.
00:49:32.100 Yeah.
00:49:33.000 But what about the amazing endorsement of Oprah Winfrey for John Fetterman in Pennsylvania?
00:49:40.640 So is it amazing?
00:49:42.020 No, isn't it amazing?
00:49:43.080 I mean, it's Oprah.
00:49:44.060 This is I don't know.
00:49:44.960 Does she still have the influence that she did?
00:49:46.580 I don't think she does.
00:49:48.040 Hell no.
00:49:48.620 And even when amongst Democrats, she's no longer their queen.
00:49:52.000 It'd be bigger if Michelle Obama said, I'm telling you, get out there and do Fetterman,
00:49:55.720 which I'm sure she has.
00:49:56.740 But Oprah is not some kingmaker the way she used to be when Obama ran.
00:50:00.920 No, she's not at all.
00:50:01.920 She's not.
00:50:02.640 And I even think you have to question whether or not she was a kingmaker back then, because
00:50:06.260 everywhere that Barack Obama went to campaign for his midterms, everybody lost.
00:50:10.080 He was toxic.
00:50:11.040 I just I remember in St. Louis when Claire McCaskill was having a rally, they didn't
00:50:14.920 they didn't have this big show of bringing Barack Obama in to rally for Claire McCaskill
00:50:19.380 because he was considered to be kind of a downer.
00:50:22.680 She was trying to present herself as this moderate and his involvement didn't help at all.
00:50:27.300 I think it's kind of petty.
00:50:28.920 I mean, I get it that that she doesn't have to agree with his politics.
00:50:32.900 I get all of that stuff, but it's just so it's just so obvious what's going on.
00:50:37.260 It just looks it just looks kind of cringy.
00:50:39.960 I mean, she's going to weigh in now.
00:50:41.300 This is going to be I guess this is the Fetterman.
00:50:43.040 People are all excited that this is their big, you know, November, you know, pre-election push
00:50:47.220 here having Oprah Winfrey weigh in.
00:50:48.900 But nobody cares.
00:50:50.560 Nobody has cared about Oprah Winfrey for 10 years.
00:50:53.100 What she I don't even know what she does anymore.
00:50:54.960 I mean, does she still do a broadcast?
00:50:57.200 I don't even know.
00:50:57.660 She licks the boots of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
00:51:00.320 That's what she does.
00:51:01.320 That's her new job.
00:51:02.080 Oh, yeah.
00:51:02.560 And they're in their Monsito Olive Garden mansions.
00:51:05.280 Yes.
00:51:05.520 So she did.
00:51:08.060 I will say I lived the moment in which I believe she greatly helped Barack Obama win Iowa up
00:51:13.880 against Hillary.
00:51:14.660 It was a big moment because she had made her career Oprah had with women, with a female
00:51:19.000 audience.
00:51:19.460 And here she was.
00:51:20.700 She had a white woman and a black man.
00:51:22.460 And people wondered, you know, what's she going to do?
00:51:24.360 And she went with the man and it helped put him over the top in Iowa.
00:51:28.380 But as far as Barack Obama and but first of all, that was, as you point out, years ago,
00:51:33.460 nobody's even talking about Oprah other than her Meghan interview in the past 10 years.
00:51:37.360 She doesn't have that kind of political sway at all.
00:51:39.820 And it was a big deal that she went political back then.
00:51:41.980 Her show was still on the air.
00:51:43.580 She was a much bigger deal with much bigger influence.
00:51:46.780 I do think you're right about Barack Obama, though.
00:51:48.700 He he doesn't have coattails and he never has.
00:51:51.520 He has never been able to get people over the edge.
00:51:53.460 He only can get himself or he can campaign for himself like nobody's business.
00:51:57.520 But he's not on the ballot.
00:51:59.780 But in Pennsylvania, when he stole what they didn't steal.
00:52:03.460 But he took Howard Dean's digital fundraising apparatus.
00:52:06.560 Howard Dean created this crazy fundraising apparatus and net roots kind of formed around
00:52:10.860 that.
00:52:11.180 And then when Barack Obama left the Democrat Party, he had built on that and kind of just
00:52:14.680 sort of took it with him.
00:52:15.560 So they lost a lot of their tools.
00:52:17.940 So but in Pennsylvania, there is big news.
00:52:19.880 I mean, for the first time, they're showing Dr.
00:52:21.400 Oz real politics average in the lead.
00:52:24.300 We haven't seen that throughout this entire campaign.
00:52:27.560 So do we think it was the debate like it was a 10 day, you know, percolation after the
00:52:33.260 debate because it didn't happen immediately?
00:52:35.300 No, it was not.
00:52:36.160 You're right.
00:52:36.380 It did not happen immediately at all.
00:52:37.720 USA Today had a really interesting read.
00:52:39.520 They surveyed it was a small sample size relatively, but they were looking at people, how they interpreted
00:52:43.860 what they thought of after the debate.
00:52:46.080 And a lot of people were swayed.
00:52:47.760 People walked into or at least, you know, rhetorically walked into the debate.
00:52:51.840 I think kind of with their minds made up, they were more interested in seeing how each
00:52:55.340 candidate performed, but they kind of had their minds made up.
00:52:57.840 It seems like because there were a lot of independents that swung over after that debate,
00:53:02.380 even probably some Democrats, I would imagine, because I just can't imagine the poll flipping
00:53:06.220 that dramatically.
00:53:06.940 Now, it's still within the margin of error.
00:53:08.800 I think he's only up by like, what, two or three points.
00:53:11.480 But Fetterman's lead has been dissipating over time.
00:53:14.320 I mean, when this all started, Fetterman had a double digit lead.
00:53:17.960 And then you looked into August and it had dwindled down to, I think, seven points, October
00:53:22.240 five points.
00:53:23.280 And then a couple of weeks before the debate or right before the debate, it was three points.
00:53:27.320 And now you have now you have Oz.
00:53:29.220 And that was a fairly large survey size.
00:53:31.500 Now you have Oz leading.
00:53:32.560 It was all because it was all because of the debate.
00:53:35.440 Fetterman, they have to they kind of had to do what they do with Joe Biden with with John
00:53:39.840 Fetterman.
00:53:40.260 He just looks and I don't even think that this has honestly anything to do with his with
00:53:45.660 his stroke recovery.
00:53:46.620 I think that that further compounds the issue.
00:53:48.820 And people have every right to question whether or not this guy is capable of representing
00:53:54.240 them in the Senate.
00:53:55.080 I mean, it's just the Senate, you know, it's just billions and trillions of taxpayer dollars,
00:53:58.780 you know, no big deal.
00:53:59.600 But they have every right to ask that.
00:54:01.080 But he had problems even before this.
00:54:02.940 I mean, it just amazes me that it's this close between Dr.
00:54:06.360 Oz and a guy who legit ran down the first random black jogger that he saw because he
00:54:10.940 heard someone lighting bottle rockets off in a parking lot around the corner.
00:54:15.180 And he's and he thinks, well, there's a random black jogger.
00:54:17.380 I'm going to go chase him down because suddenly now I'm you know, I'm I'm also the law on these
00:54:21.700 streets.
00:54:22.180 He was never held accountable for that.
00:54:24.240 He was never really held accountable for his disastrous turn as Braddock mayor.
00:54:28.280 Even the Democrat City Council was saying he left that city worse than he than it than
00:54:31.940 it started when he got there.
00:54:33.320 And he also abused the police department to gather oppo on anybody who disagreed with him.
00:54:38.280 So he had major issues to say nothing of the fact that this 50 something year old dude got
00:54:42.800 got an allowance from his parents, never really worked in the private sector, except as an
00:54:47.920 insurance agent with Chubb for like a year and a half and got an allowance from his parents,
00:54:52.160 has this bougie loft that he lives in that was featured in design sponge and all of these
00:54:57.740 other design and architectural digital outlets.
00:55:00.160 He paid a dollar for it just so he could say that he bought it.
00:55:02.940 He's got issues before.
00:55:04.320 I think that kind of factors into it.
00:55:06.040 He cosplays as, you know, an everyman with his hoodie, but he's anything but.
00:55:10.460 And so I think bringing some of that to the forefront helped.
00:55:13.260 But the debate ultimately was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.
00:55:18.580 The the fact that the left hasn't said boo about that incident with the black man who,
00:55:25.400 I mean, he was the original purveyor of the I'll get you because you're jogging while
00:55:29.220 black Fetterman was they couldn't care less, forget them and their complaints about all
00:55:34.500 this in other cases involving random civilians.
00:55:36.720 Right.
00:55:37.040 They want us to believe they care so deeply about this.
00:55:39.560 They care so deeply until their politics are involved.
00:55:42.780 And then you get a complete pass.
00:55:45.000 If Dr.
00:55:46.260 Oz had been the one on the right end of that gun, they they kill him.
00:55:52.500 It would be in advertisements every day.
00:55:55.320 But because it's a Democrat who did it, he gets a total pass putting the lie to their whole
00:56:00.600 fake act about how much they care about these woke issues.
00:56:04.320 Yeah, there could this could have been another Ahmaud Arbery incident with John Fetterman.
00:56:10.960 That's right.
00:56:11.180 And that's what Democrats won't address.
00:56:12.820 That could have exactly been this.
00:56:14.480 And they just kind of skirt past it because they desperately want that seat to that extent.
00:56:19.740 That's how bad they want this seat.
00:56:21.080 But that's that's egregious.
00:56:22.660 That whole situation is so inexcusable.
00:56:25.340 No accountability for it at all whatsoever.
00:56:27.460 They even did an interview with the guy afterwards.
00:56:29.320 And he was saying, yeah, he actually held me at gunpoint and Fetterman just sort of played
00:56:33.980 it off like, oh, well, you know, not really.
00:56:35.820 I was just doing what I could to protect my neighborhood.
00:56:38.260 That is no excuse, dude.
00:56:39.640 I mean, I get it that it's D different for you, but that's no excuse.
00:56:43.280 Mm hmm.
00:56:43.840 And to your point about Fetterman at that debate, obviously, he had massive communication
00:56:47.680 issues that were hard to watch.
00:56:49.340 It was uncomfortable.
00:56:50.300 But they haven't stopped since then.
00:56:52.300 Just yesterday on Twitter, it was this clip was going around.
00:56:55.120 That was shocking.
00:56:56.140 I mean, it was shocking.
00:56:56.900 He cannot put the sentences together.
00:56:59.080 He cannot put the thoughts together.
00:57:00.820 See if you can make sense of this comment he made.
00:57:02.900 I think it's about football.
00:57:04.420 But listen.
00:57:07.300 Summer of 1986.
00:57:10.740 I think everyone that ever plays football in high school was, you know, at a kind of like
00:57:21.140 trade, trade out kind of football camp and wasn't, wasn't, there wasn't any interest to have
00:57:32.740 me come play here, you know?
00:57:34.100 Oh, my God, Dana.
00:57:37.840 I don't even know what to what did I just hear.
00:57:41.180 I feel like we all just got accidentally just drunk for a second.
00:57:43.700 What is that?
00:57:44.820 I don't even know how to how to analyze that.
00:57:47.700 That's the problem, though, because the Senate is the Senate's kind of built around debate.
00:57:52.320 This is sort of a big issue.
00:57:53.940 And, you know, I really reject the idea that's coming from Democrats when they say, well,
00:57:58.360 you're just holding the fact that John Fetterman had a stroke against him.
00:58:01.040 I mean, he had a stroke.
00:58:01.740 People can serve all the time, you know, even if they've had a stroke.
00:58:04.820 Really ask Mark Kirk that because that was the exact reason that that he was disqualified
00:58:09.880 for getting support for another run for the Senate because because people were saying that
00:58:14.060 he had a stroke.
00:58:14.780 So why is it different for Fetterman when it wasn't different from Mark Kirk?
00:58:18.420 I mean, that's a that's a huge point that they kind of overlook voters have the right
00:58:22.400 to question, especially when he's clearly struggling in the middle of recovery.
00:58:27.600 And I think it's cruel to put the man through a stress of a campaign because it is incredibly
00:58:32.920 it's stressful to run for school board anymore, much less the United States Senate while he's
00:58:37.940 in the middle of a recovery.
00:58:39.400 That's how I feel, too.
00:58:40.440 I feel sorry for him.
00:58:41.380 I'm like, just just pull the wife.
00:58:43.600 She wants to be the senator.
00:58:44.980 Just pull him.
00:58:45.860 Just stop it.
00:58:46.440 You can run again another time.
00:58:47.680 There's no reason there's no reason to be humiliating the man like this.
00:58:51.820 It's just it's absurd.
00:58:53.680 OK, let's let's keep going, because the Democrats now are in a panic as they see the numbers
00:58:58.380 that we're all seeing in New York and elsewhere.
00:59:00.620 Oregon, I mean, states that should be solidly blue are now looking awfully pink.
00:59:05.040 And they've come up with a closing ad, a closing argument, if you will, that this is
00:59:10.860 like Eric Swalwell.
00:59:12.740 I am.
00:59:13.160 I try never to run thoughts of him.
00:59:14.880 I try never to run thoughts of certain certain crazies on the left and the right.
00:59:19.840 And he's in my crazies on the left that I don't really want to ever platform.
00:59:23.340 But I'm going to do it.
00:59:24.580 He debuted it.
00:59:25.320 You'll be shocked to learn on MSNBC and you'll be further shocked that he did it on the Republicans
00:59:29.300 show.
00:59:30.160 Nicole Wallace, you know, she's dyed in the wool red now.
00:59:35.180 Sure.
00:59:36.160 And this is so I want you to watch it.
00:59:38.940 And I want you to watch in particular the use of the children at the end.
00:59:43.520 Here it is.
00:59:44.880 Can you think of any laws that give government the power to make decisions about the male
00:59:50.680 body?
00:59:55.680 Would a 10 year old chance carry a baby?
00:59:57.480 The thing we are all deciding as a democratic society is who will wield power and what they
01:00:14.700 will do with that power.
01:00:16.620 States can't be trusted with the power to regulate concealed handguns, but they can force you
01:00:21.600 to give birth to a child against your will.
01:00:24.400 You cannot tell me you care about children before they're born, but you don't give a
01:00:29.820 care about what happens to the child after.
01:00:33.020 If this court moves quickly on Justice Thomas's list of what rights they're going to abolish
01:00:38.440 next, being in a same sex marriage now means there is a target on you.
01:00:43.240 And if you think that this is going to stop at Roe versus Wade, yes, they will pass a national
01:00:49.120 abortion ban.
01:00:49.880 They will pass massive tax cuts for the red.
01:00:51.880 They will cut or eliminate entitlement programs.
01:00:54.160 We want to destroy American institutions.
01:00:56.040 This is all one final fight for the Republicans to try to regain all the power that they've
01:01:00.380 lost.
01:01:00.600 The most important election of our lives because we might actually lose democracy.
01:01:06.680 Don't go back.
01:01:07.440 We can't go back.
01:01:08.700 We won't go back.
01:01:10.180 We won't go back.
01:01:10.760 Don't go back.
01:01:11.640 We won't go back.
01:01:12.620 We won't go back.
01:01:14.220 We won't go back.
01:01:15.060 We won't go back.
01:01:16.480 We won't go back.
01:01:20.120 We won't go back.
01:01:22.020 We won't go back.
01:01:23.580 The last word on the screen, choice, democracy, and then vote.
01:01:27.340 Nice, nice use of like eight year old girls there to clearly pro abortion who their parents
01:01:33.200 decided to stick in front of the cameras.
01:01:35.800 Yeah, I don't see why the kids are involved in this.
01:01:39.220 I get that the Democrats like to hide behind kids as shields, but this is I don't think
01:01:42.740 that that's entirely appropriate for the issues that are being discussed in here.
01:01:46.100 I'm just wanting to know, Megan, who is threatening to take these things away from people?
01:01:50.800 Who's talking about taking away people's Social Security?
01:01:53.860 I mean, look, I'm all for privatization, which is not taking it away, but that's not
01:01:58.500 even what Republicans are talking about.
01:02:00.360 I think they're actually a little bit too big government for me on that issue, but nobody's
01:02:04.580 talking about taking people's Social Security away.
01:02:06.840 Nobody's talking about taking anybody's anything away.
01:02:09.260 You know what's happening?
01:02:10.220 We're all sitting here having a brew, wondering how much more expensive turkeys are going to
01:02:15.040 be going into Thanksgiving and not looking to we don't have time to micromanage what
01:02:20.760 everybody's doing to try to take stuff away from people.
01:02:23.260 That's what Democrats do.
01:02:24.660 That's not what Republicans do.
01:02:26.180 It is such fear mongering and nothing that they propose.
01:02:29.320 There's no solutions ever.
01:02:30.800 There's never a solution.
01:02:32.260 Everything that they propose is, well, the Republicans are going to take this from you.
01:02:35.220 And this is what you have to live in fear of.
01:02:37.200 And this is all of this bad stuff is going to happen unless you vote Democrat.
01:02:40.920 That's what we heard from Joe Biden at his red speech part two, his mulligan, which it
01:02:45.860 was like a Game of Thrones thing.
01:02:47.660 His his speech, whether it's Kamala Harris, whether it's Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Hillary
01:02:52.240 Clinton, Barack Obama, even out on the campaign trail.
01:02:55.040 That's what they're all saying.
01:02:56.180 But yet, where are they?
01:02:57.440 First off, they can't say anything beyond that.
01:03:00.320 Secondly, notice how none of these none of these politicians are putting forward any solutions.
01:03:04.900 I have yet to hear a solution from this administration.
01:03:07.100 They talk about how families are going through it, sort of, because they want to dance away
01:03:11.340 from the issue of the economy, because that's where they're really hurting going into midterms.
01:03:15.740 But where are their solutions?
01:03:17.340 They have none.
01:03:18.560 It's always fear mongering.
01:03:20.080 Then they go back to the well of abortion and they go back to the well of gay marriage
01:03:25.160 or something.
01:03:26.060 I think a climate, all of the none of these issues are even reaching the top five or seven
01:03:31.040 in voter concerns.
01:03:33.040 It's like women going to buy a car and the salesman telling you about the cup holder and
01:03:37.060 lighted mirror.
01:03:37.800 We want to know what's under the hood.
01:03:39.440 We want to know what's going on with the economy, inflation, gas prices.
01:03:42.420 Get to it.
01:03:43.740 The thing on abortion is so dishonest, because what happened was the Supreme Court said,
01:03:47.760 we're going to give this back to the states as it was.
01:03:49.460 This is not a federal constitutional right.
01:03:51.320 We're going to give it back to the states.
01:03:52.480 And so some states are going to have some laws.
01:03:54.620 Some states are going to have other laws.
01:03:55.720 Some states are going to ban it.
01:03:56.660 Some states are going to allow it all the way through the third trimester.
01:03:59.520 It is the Democrats who then said, that's not good enough.
01:04:03.640 We want a federal law passed by the U.S.
01:04:06.820 Congress that mandates that it's legal in all 50 states.
01:04:11.000 Now, my own legal belief is that will never be upheld as constitutional.
01:04:14.280 They don't have the power to do that at the congressional level.
01:04:16.260 So the Republicans sat back and said, no, we really think it's a states rights issues issue.
01:04:22.800 And you should take half a loaf that you've been given in all these blue states that will
01:04:27.420 remain very, very legal to the very, very end.
01:04:29.780 And in the more and more red states, it won't.
01:04:33.300 And so they had like one guy, Lindsey Graham, say, well, we could do a national a national
01:04:38.080 law that makes it like a 15 week limit for abortion.
01:04:42.260 And it didn't have a groundswell of support.
01:04:44.060 Most Republicans were like, eh, that might be a model for state by state's decision.
01:04:48.860 But there was no support behind Lindsey Graham's.
01:04:51.620 Let's do it at the federal congressional level.
01:04:53.480 The Democrats, they will pass a federal law outlawing abortion.
01:04:57.880 No, it's you, you, the Democrats who want to pass a federal law, not the Republicans.
01:05:02.740 They're fine with the reversal of Roe versus Wade and leaving it at the states.
01:05:06.700 It's all cynical, cynical fear mongering.
01:05:10.800 No, I completely agree.
01:05:12.120 Lindsey Graham's introduction of that, which it's, it's actually more lenient than what
01:05:18.820 it kind of matches what you see in a lot of European nations.
01:05:21.180 But the whole thing, I thought it was clumsy and awkward for him to introduce that at the
01:05:24.840 time when Republicans already had a victory and it was already back to the states.
01:05:29.040 What this move, though, does what what this going back to the states does and why Democrats
01:05:33.800 are so mad is it exposes this huge weakness in their whole abortion grift operations, however
01:05:40.620 you want to say it, because for so long they focused on everything at the federal level.
01:05:45.300 If Democrats had been really, truly concerned about women's so-called health, about access
01:05:51.800 and all of this other stuff, they would have moved mountains to make sure that this was
01:05:55.940 protected, if that's the word to use, at the state level.
01:05:59.940 And they didn't, they didn't push this at the state level to make sure that there were
01:06:04.500 some sort, there was some sort of plan B, no pun intended, in place should something
01:06:09.300 like this happen.
01:06:10.080 And the crazy thing is that Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as you know, Megan, was, was Ruth Bader Ginsburg
01:06:14.440 was warning people that this was going to happen.
01:06:17.500 I mean, she went right up to the line of saying, you know, you might want to look out because
01:06:21.120 at some point the logic of Roe v. Wade is going to be challenged because it's predicated
01:06:24.880 on something that's real.
01:06:25.800 It's a bad argument.
01:06:26.660 It's just a bad argument.
01:06:27.820 She wasn't the only justice or only female legal expert who thought this, who was also
01:06:32.860 on the left, but Democrats didn't pay attention.
01:06:35.200 They focused everything on the federal level and they wanted to fundraise off it.
01:06:38.560 So they're out here scaring women saying you're all going to die in the back alley with hangers,
01:06:41.960 but they're not going to do anything at the state level to, to shore up their position.
01:06:46.400 That was a complete and utter failure on their part.
01:06:49.880 And they're trying to pin it on Republicans.
01:06:52.160 But the bottom line is that this is classic Democrats.
01:06:55.260 It's hurt and rescue.
01:06:56.680 They create a problem.
01:06:58.120 They make their base a victim of it.
01:07:00.460 They make their base suffer.
01:07:02.320 And then they turn around and act like they have a solution.
01:07:04.840 But it's not really a solution.
01:07:06.200 If you listen, it's always just a complaint or an attack on their political opposition.
01:07:10.920 And they fail their base time and time again, which is probably why they're having this
01:07:15.720 crisis of spirit right now.
01:07:17.680 Because after midterms, Democrats have to decide, are we going to go full socialist because
01:07:22.080 the moderate thing's not working?
01:07:23.420 What are we going to do?
01:07:24.840 So they have that they have that decision to make.
01:07:26.880 And I think the the abortion issue, they fumbled on it badly.
01:07:29.540 And it shows now in terms of the fear mongering, it's gone next level, really.
01:07:34.680 I mean, you can sense the panic.
01:07:35.800 It's it has it's untethered now.
01:07:37.720 And I mentioned it in the intro to the show.
01:07:40.320 Presidential historian Michael Beschloss on MSNBC with an important warning.
01:07:45.160 I know you're a mother.
01:07:46.060 I'm a mother for all the mothers out there and dads for that matter, too.
01:07:49.380 Take a listen, because the stakes are way higher than any of us knew.
01:07:53.440 Listen.
01:07:55.160 Chris, six nights from now, we could all be discussing violence all over this country.
01:08:01.320 We could be six days away from losing our rule of law and losing a situation where we have
01:08:07.180 elections that we all can rely on.
01:08:09.500 Fifty years from now, if historians are allowed to write in this country and if there are still
01:08:15.000 free publishing houses and a free press, which I'm not certain of.
01:08:19.360 But if that is true, a historian will say what was at stake tonight and this week was the fact
01:08:26.480 whether we will be a democracy in the future, whether our children will be arrested and conceivably
01:08:31.640 killed.
01:08:32.880 We're on the edge of a brutal authoritarian system.
01:08:36.360 And it could be a week away.
01:08:37.540 Because people won't vote Democrat?
01:08:41.820 Get your child.
01:08:42.800 This is like that, what is it, that Antoine guy that they did that, they called him the
01:08:46.420 bed intruder viral video where he's like, oh my gosh, hide your husbands, hide your wives,
01:08:50.900 hide your kids because they're snatching everybody up in here.
01:08:53.020 He just did that politically.
01:08:54.880 That was what that answer was.
01:08:56.440 That was crazy.
01:08:57.820 Nobody's like, if historians can write, who's blocking this?
01:09:02.180 No more press and all the children are going to be killed.
01:09:06.640 Okay.
01:09:07.280 Oh my gosh.
01:09:08.140 Everyone's going to die.
01:09:09.140 Cats and dogs living together.
01:09:10.840 Mass hysteria.
01:09:12.280 That hasn't happened.
01:09:14.540 It is not going to happen.
01:09:16.660 That's what they're offering, Megan.
01:09:18.100 To your point, that is exactly what they're offering instead of any kind of solution.
01:09:21.840 That's what they're offering.
01:09:22.680 Meanwhile, you and I are just sitting here talking about it and chilling and just wondering
01:09:26.320 why they're freaking out like this.
01:09:27.800 Yeah, like divided government is really not that bad.
01:09:30.360 A lot of Americans tend to prefer it, as a matter of fact.
01:09:32.820 And by the way, it's guys like that who make these evil election deniers believe that the
01:09:39.220 left is capable of anything.
01:09:40.620 If you put that guy in charge of a ballot box and there are millions just like him who
01:09:45.220 feel that way, right, who are that untethered on the far left.
01:09:49.560 If you put that guy in charge of a ballot box in a swing district in Pennsylvania, in Georgia,
01:09:55.760 right, what do you think he's going to do?
01:09:57.380 Would you trust him?
01:09:58.620 I wouldn't.
01:09:59.480 Listen to how he's talking about the stakes.
01:10:01.080 His kids are going to die if the right wins.
01:10:03.220 Yeah.
01:10:04.040 I mean, think about it.
01:10:05.000 If you genuinely believe that the lives of your children are at stake and if people don't
01:10:10.480 vote Democrat, they could die.
01:10:12.040 That could actually make you act in a number of different ways that maybe aren't so cool.
01:10:16.720 I mean, when the president sits here, President McUnity sits here and talks about lowering
01:10:21.180 the rhetoric or maybe kind of, you know, moderating the tone a bit.
01:10:25.640 I just, it's a wonder that they don't address, because there are so many people like this
01:10:29.740 guy, some of them in elected office, they never take the time to address the words from
01:10:34.240 these kinds of people.
01:10:35.520 I mean, that's just, it's ridiculous.
01:10:37.460 It is, it's incendiary.
01:10:39.280 And it's almost like they want violence.
01:10:41.020 He sounds like he wants violence.
01:10:42.860 He wants something, anything that can be used as leverage to get Democrats into office.
01:10:49.040 They wouldn't have to do this.
01:10:50.580 They wouldn't have to get emotional if they were just like a regular Democrat party that,
01:10:55.780 you know, people kind of grew up with in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
01:10:59.320 Remember those days?
01:11:00.200 Halfway 90s.
01:11:01.360 So he's not the only hysteric.
01:11:03.720 That was MSNBC.
01:11:04.660 But let's take a little meander over to the mouse network, ABC, right?
01:11:09.300 Owned by Disney, where now this kind of talk about Republican women is absolutely fine.
01:11:17.560 I give you Sonny Hostin on The View, Sot 10.
01:11:21.360 I read a poll just yesterday that white Republican suburban women are now going to vote Republican.
01:11:28.800 Why?
01:11:29.180 It's almost like roaches voting for raid.
01:11:32.520 Oh my God.
01:11:33.900 I just remember those same females getting very, very upset when I called out women who
01:11:40.400 used birth control as abortion and considering from Planned Parenthood's own publicly available
01:11:46.540 use abortion as birth control.
01:11:48.760 Yeah.
01:11:49.000 Hidden on this thing called the Internet.
01:11:50.620 I mean, women who use abortion as birth control, that's like the majority of Planned Parenthood's
01:11:56.540 customers.
01:11:57.040 And when I remarked on that, and this was in the context of the Herschel Walker thing,
01:12:00.400 and we were talking about how you want to you want to win the seat.
01:12:03.340 Democrats are very eager to win seats and control the Senate.
01:12:05.820 So I don't feel that Republicans should have any shame in admitting the same thing.
01:12:10.320 But it was interesting because talking about abortion as birth control, on demand, taxpayer
01:12:15.940 funded, any criticism of that was considered to be a quote unquote moral rot from those women.
01:12:22.200 But if you're a woman and you are exercising your empowered free choice, because I thought
01:12:27.980 that that's what so-called feminism was all about, to be able to have choices even if they
01:12:31.900 differ from the choice of another woman, the decision of a woman to vote Republican makes
01:12:37.720 her a roach.
01:12:39.800 I just-
01:12:40.060 Only the white ones.
01:12:40.700 The white suburban ones.
01:12:42.020 And I noticed that none of them had that.
01:12:43.520 Sorry.
01:12:44.780 Only the white suburban ones who are going to vote Republican.
01:12:47.560 That's it.
01:12:47.980 Everybody else is not a roach.
01:12:49.040 Yeah, what is that?
01:12:49.540 What is that with that?
01:12:50.380 That's racist.
01:12:51.600 Because there aren't any black women that vote Republican.
01:12:53.680 Democrats have tried to trademark and patent everything from being female, being gay, being
01:12:59.780 Hispanic, being Latino, being a woman, being whatever, a black American, whatever.
01:13:06.780 They've tried to patent and trademark absolutely every single thing.
01:13:09.900 This is why Joe Biden felt so confident in saying, well, if you don't vote for me, then
01:13:13.320 you're not really black, because that's kind of their party line.
01:13:15.980 You're onto some.
01:13:16.840 If she, if the data, because I presume she's referring to the Wall Street Journal poll that
01:13:20.960 came out yesterday where they had an article two days ago saying that white women had swung
01:13:25.420 blue to red 27 percentage points in the last couple of months and now are net positive towards
01:13:31.660 the Republicans by 15 points, white suburban women.
01:13:35.280 But that same poll had said black inner city women had swung to the Republican Party, let's
01:13:42.120 say by 10 points.
01:13:43.300 There is no way she'd be referring to them as roaches.
01:13:45.560 That's bullshit.
01:13:46.740 She feels fine taking a shot like this at white suburban GOP women.
01:13:50.960 Newly GOP and not because she knows she's going to get away with it.
01:13:54.420 It's disgusting to analogize any human being, white, black, whatever.
01:13:59.500 But she's she loves to hit Republicans and she loves to hit female Republicans.
01:14:03.800 And if they're white, so much the better as roaches.
01:14:07.140 Now, that's not a bridge too far for ABC that wants us to go watch their funny little morning
01:14:13.040 crew and go to their stupid little park.
01:14:15.320 But if you're a white Republican woman, you're a fucking roach.
01:14:18.900 Sorry, but that's disgusting what she said.
01:14:21.520 No, it's offensive.
01:14:22.400 It's offensive.
01:14:23.220 And I think it betrays a number.
01:14:25.180 Well, I first off, I think she sounds racist.
01:14:28.920 That's the moral rot.
01:14:30.160 If we want to have a discussion about moral rot in the society that we're still it's 2022
01:14:33.660 and we're dividing people up by color of skin and ethnicity and everything else and trying
01:14:38.740 to and blasting them if they're not voting for voting for how we want.
01:14:42.120 But here's the other thing.
01:14:43.180 When when you look across the country and making your mom, you know, you've you've dealt with
01:14:47.540 the lockdowns.
01:14:48.140 You've dealt with all of this stuff.
01:14:49.240 When you see all of the parents and particularly the mothers that were standing up when their
01:14:54.520 kids were being forcibly masked, when schools were locked down, when their kids were going
01:14:57.900 through loneliness and they were suffering academically and losing all of this time in
01:15:03.140 schools and everything else.
01:15:04.300 And you had all of these parental groups.
01:15:06.020 A lot of them ran by women of color.
01:15:08.260 In fact, I've I've spoken to I don't even know how many moms at this point, Muslim mothers,
01:15:14.060 Indian mothers, Asian mothers, white mothers, Hispanic mothers, black mothers, and not every
01:15:18.660 single one of them are, you know, card carrying member of the RNC.
01:15:21.720 A lot of them are Democrats.
01:15:22.700 They were motivated by what is in the best interest of their children to vote Republican.
01:15:28.540 People were voting for candidates like Glenn Youngkin because Glenn Youngkin provided a way
01:15:33.200 out for their kids.
01:15:34.700 He provided an opportunity for their children.
01:15:37.340 This is we're seeing this all across the country.
01:15:39.780 And so to reduce the struggle of American families, to reduce the struggle of what mothers have
01:15:47.500 been dealing with with their children for the past two plus years to a really insulting,
01:15:55.240 racially charged put down like this on The View is inexcusable.
01:16:00.980 It's insulting.
01:16:02.240 And you know what?
01:16:03.300 I think that she owes people an apology.
01:16:05.600 Sunny Hostet owes people an apology.
01:16:07.100 The View owe people an apology.
01:16:09.320 She should be forced to apologize.
01:16:10.540 I don't want to hear any lectures from these broads about anything related to Hershel Walker
01:16:15.120 or anybody else when they're out there screaming, calling women roaches because they're not
01:16:18.760 voting the way that they want them to vote.
01:16:20.620 I thought we went, you know what?
01:16:21.900 Women have, we have our own minds.
01:16:23.960 We are, we are not one unit.
01:16:25.700 We all don't have to vote the same.
01:16:27.380 And I'm going to be damned if I'll be put down the same way that you will, Megan, just because
01:16:30.980 we want to, we think differently and vote differently.
01:16:33.020 That doesn't make us roaches.
01:16:34.840 That, that makes us not sheep.
01:16:36.560 That's what it makes us.
01:16:37.800 Oh, that's exactly right.
01:16:39.200 She should be forced to apologize or she should be suspended from that show.
01:16:44.160 It's absurd that Disney's going to let her get away with this.
01:16:47.340 You may not compare women, any women, GOP or Dems, to roaches.
01:16:52.860 And the fact that she feels comfortable doing that on a platform like ABC News tells you
01:16:57.680 everything you need to know about that network.
01:16:59.220 They need to step in or the judgment is on them as well.
01:17:02.640 Stand by.
01:17:03.340 We've got a lot more to get to because here's what happens when Democrats come forward and
01:17:07.300 say, I am thinking about voting Republican for all the reasons Dana just said.
01:17:11.120 The left goes into complete denial.
01:17:12.820 They attack and demean you're a roach and or they deny it and say it's not happening.
01:17:19.100 Well, reality is coming on Tuesday, but we'll give you the latest example of Stephen Colbert
01:17:23.320 trying to call out a Republican candidate for governor in a way that came back to bite him
01:17:28.280 in the you know what.
01:17:29.720 Dana Lash staying with us.
01:17:30.800 Don't go away.
01:17:31.280 All right.
01:17:35.180 So let's meander out to Michigan where Tudor Dixon, the Republican, is neck and neck against
01:17:41.760 the Democrat Gretchen Whitmer.
01:17:43.300 It's getting really interesting and Tudor's got a lot of momentum.
01:17:46.900 And by the way, he's going to be on the show on Monday.
01:17:49.360 So Tudor Dixon in a debate against Gretchen Whitmer tells this story about a Democrat she
01:17:55.320 talked to who's changing parties, who's going to vote Republican.
01:17:59.060 And we've seen it across the country.
01:18:00.840 That's why the Dems are in such trouble.
01:18:02.760 This isn't just motivated Republicans.
01:18:04.380 This is motivated Dems who are going to pull the lever for Republicans in some cases for
01:18:08.700 the first time ever.
01:18:09.560 I've been talking about the New York polls where Lee Zeldin's looking very good right
01:18:14.540 now in a way you never would think possible against a Democratic incumbent, Kathy Hochul at
01:18:18.780 the Democrat at the gubernatorial level.
01:18:20.820 The poll showing him ahead now is two to one Dems to Republicans.
01:18:25.460 So obviously there's going to be a lot of crossover Dems voting for for the red team.
01:18:31.560 So Tudor points this out in a debate and Stephen Colbert, no one's funny man, decides to call
01:18:39.060 bullshit.
01:18:40.360 Well, that would come back to bite him.
01:18:42.740 Watch this.
01:18:43.240 Here's here's Colbert on Tudor.
01:18:45.720 Dixon's not the only one worried about this issue.
01:18:47.840 So is this guy.
01:18:48.840 She totally made up.
01:18:49.880 I had a gentleman come up to me just a few nights ago and he said, I found content in
01:18:55.180 my school library describing how to have sex to my son.
01:18:59.700 I went to the Democrats and I said, I cannot believe that this is in there.
01:19:03.740 OK, fine.
01:19:07.760 That happened.
01:19:08.880 But even if it did, if someone found a book they didn't like in a school library, why would
01:19:14.680 they go to the Democrats?
01:19:16.540 That's like saying, excuse me, is this Chuck Schumer's office?
01:19:19.060 I didn't like the finale of House of the Dragon.
01:19:22.780 Also, this natural peanut butter is way too oily when it's in the cupboard, but it gets
01:19:27.080 too hard when it's in the fridge.
01:19:28.940 I'm voting Republican.
01:19:30.500 Good day, sir.
01:19:31.140 Then, for reasons all her own, Dixon continued.
01:19:34.840 What these parents are talking about are not textbooks that will help children learn about
01:19:40.080 themselves.
01:19:40.840 These are books that are describing to children how to have sex.
01:19:45.000 She's right.
01:19:45.560 We looked it up and there are a lot of classic children's books teaching kids about doing
01:19:50.220 it.
01:19:50.500 There's Where the Wild Things Bone, If You Give a Mouse Some Nookie, and Green Eggs and
01:19:57.640 Butt Stuff.
01:19:58.240 So funny, so hilariously funny.
01:20:03.020 For those of us who've been paying attention, they're pushing this nonsense in K-12 classrooms
01:20:08.220 and libraries across the country.
01:20:09.680 It's actually really disturbing if you would just bother to pay attention.
01:20:12.840 He's wrong about that, and he's wrong about the non-existence of this person who went to
01:20:16.760 Tudor Dixon.
01:20:17.320 The man's name is Khalil Othman, and he is real, and so is his story.
01:20:22.800 And here he is speaking at a Tudor Dixon rally in Flat Rock from October 21st.
01:20:30.340 I am a proud Muslim American who expressed my values and concerns all the time.
01:20:38.740 And as you guys know, you will know the numbers more than anyone else.
01:20:42.380 Still one has been voting Democrats' loom for the last decade or two decades, but not
01:20:48.960 any more.
01:20:55.880 I have to leave this people on behalf of myself and my family, and I can guarantee you for
01:21:02.280 sure that my family and my friends and my relatives will vote Republicans all the way.
01:21:08.240 Wow.
01:21:10.080 Denial is not a very effective election strategy, Dana.
01:21:14.480 No, it's not.
01:21:15.500 And I think that what's happening in Michigan is amazing on that issue.
01:21:19.520 It's like Democrats' worst nightmare.
01:21:20.980 You have Muslim Americans and Christian Americans that are banding together to stand against
01:21:24.900 this stuff.
01:21:25.820 And I've seen this kind of before the deflection from Democrats when these examples, they're
01:21:31.600 real parents that are coming up that are bringing these issues up, and Democrats pretend
01:21:35.640 that they don't exist.
01:21:36.560 They do that at their own peril, because a lot of the people bringing this up, like this
01:21:40.020 guy was saying, he had voted Democrat for a long time.
01:21:43.080 Now he's voting Republican.
01:21:45.220 Colbert should actually apologize to Tudor Dixon for, A, not being funny, and then B, for
01:21:50.900 being incredibly wrong about this situation.
01:21:53.560 I mean, it was just cringe.
01:21:54.760 I felt like I was watching, like, you know, your awkward uncle make a joke.
01:21:58.420 It was just, ugh.
01:21:59.960 But, you know, to the point, I mean, the books that they have, like, there was a mutual friend
01:22:05.960 of mine that her daughter in junior high found, and this was just here in Texas, you know,
01:22:11.860 just down the road from where we are, very conservative county, found a book that actually
01:22:17.060 was a graphic novel, and it actually showed illustrations of oral sex.
01:22:22.620 I mean, I couldn't even talk on air about what some of the book had in it, because I would
01:22:28.340 be fine by the FCC, but you could have it in a junior high school library, and she's
01:22:35.060 a real parent, and it existed, and she had photos of it, and her daughter found it in
01:22:38.640 the library.
01:22:39.460 And then all of these other parents, Megan, as you know, were checking, what's in our
01:22:42.880 kids' libraries?
01:22:43.580 It wasn't just high school, either.
01:22:45.140 I mean, this is, like, seventh grade.
01:22:47.460 It's inexcusable.
01:22:48.640 And as you said, it has no academic value.
01:22:50.380 It's just, there's no academic value at all whatsoever to it.
01:22:54.300 It's all just cultural conditioning.
01:22:57.100 That's all that it is.
01:22:58.920 And for Stephen Colbert to make fun of it, I don't even know if he has kids.
01:23:03.200 I mean, if somebody jumped on that landmine and made that happen, you know, good for them.
01:23:07.200 But I don't know if he's got kids.
01:23:08.980 I don't know what his situation is.
01:23:10.840 But it sounds like he might not have a lot to do with him if he doesn't realize that
01:23:13.940 this is going on in libraries and schools across America.
01:23:16.660 You know, just here in New York City, this year, it was 2021, there was a scandal at this
01:23:23.460 Tony private school, Dalton, where they were showing the kids masturbation videos.
01:23:27.340 There was a whole little how-to book with erections and how they work and what to do to
01:23:32.000 make them feel good.
01:23:32.600 I mean, if he's not aware of that, he needs to read different news sources because this
01:23:38.040 is a legit problem to where, I've said it many times, virtually all of my friends are
01:23:43.020 Democrats.
01:23:44.280 I grew up in New York State.
01:23:45.600 Like, they're almost all Democrats.
01:23:48.040 They don't, they're not in support of this bullshit.
01:23:50.420 The answer is not to deny it.
01:23:51.660 Any reasonable person when shown this stuff would say, that's horrifying and it needs to
01:23:56.300 be removed right now.
01:23:57.420 The fact that the woke left doesn't like it, that's a different story.
01:24:00.100 Most normal people would say, no, no, no, that's not okay.
01:24:03.040 And Stephen Colbert doesn't understand.
01:24:05.260 Like, he's got some normal Democrats watching his show.
01:24:08.880 It doesn't help him or anybody to just be in denial about electoral prospects or the facts
01:24:14.320 about what's happening to our children.
01:24:18.040 Exactly.
01:24:18.640 And for the left, when the left always says, Megan, oh, this is about free speech and you
01:24:21.960 guys are book burners.
01:24:22.800 No, no, no.
01:24:23.280 This is about parents being able to vote up or down as to what is in their kids' libraries.
01:24:27.960 We're not out there saying, you know, ban Mark Twain or, you know, going after the cat
01:24:32.060 in the hat, which is, that's what the left likes to do.
01:24:34.680 This book can go for sale.
01:24:35.860 Yeah, we're talking about porn.
01:24:36.380 This is porn.
01:24:37.320 This can go for sale on Amazon or wherever you want to buy your book, but don't shove
01:24:40.720 it on my kid in first grade.
01:24:42.080 That's different.
01:24:42.740 I get to weigh in.
01:24:43.200 Yeah, on taxpayer dollars.
01:24:44.720 Yeah, that's a totally different scenario.
01:24:46.260 Now, we talked a bit about the press and how dishonest they are and how much they loathe
01:24:50.420 Republicans.
01:24:51.920 I have some good news.
01:24:53.160 I have some good news.
01:24:54.900 One of them just got fired.
01:24:56.180 Tiffany Cross, the most racist person in all of television, and in particular on MSNBC,
01:25:03.620 just got fired for Tiffany.
01:25:07.240 Tiffany, apparently, OK, hold on.
01:25:09.660 I want to read you the, it just came out.
01:25:11.760 This is what they say, that she, this is per variety, stand by, OK, there's been speculation
01:25:21.720 that her relationship with MSNBC was becoming frayed, according to one of the people.
01:25:26.180 With knowledge, they were growing concerned, the executives were, about the anchor's willingness
01:25:30.540 to address statements made by cable news hosts on other networks.
01:25:34.180 She sparred with Tucker Carlson all the time, yours truly as well.
01:25:36.700 And indulging in commentary, executives did not feel met the standards of MSNBC or NBC
01:25:44.040 News.
01:25:44.560 I'll give you just a couple of examples of some of her greatest hits.
01:25:48.220 Recently, I called her a dumbass because she, she commented on Tua, the Miami Dolphins
01:25:54.080 quarterback.
01:25:55.080 She was upset when Tua got hurt, the concussion thing, which I was upset with too, but she
01:25:59.360 took it racial.
01:26:00.540 She was like all these white owners making these black players.
01:26:03.540 Tua's not black and the owner was, or the coach was not white.
01:26:07.340 She blasted Republican members of Congress as white supremacists a day after the Wisconsin
01:26:11.800 jury acquitted Rittenhouse.
01:26:13.180 OK, somehow that made the, the Republican members of Congress white supremacists.
01:26:18.180 She called Rittenhouse a little murderous white supremacist.
01:26:20.760 She said we should all be concerned about white replacement.
01:26:24.020 It is, after all, a very threat to our survival here.
01:26:27.080 White replacement can strangle culture.
01:26:29.400 Thought we weren't supposed to be talking about, quote, replacement theories.
01:26:32.080 Thought that was racist.
01:26:32.960 Right.
01:26:33.400 Then she came out and said on the Capitol insurrection.
01:26:36.220 I know they love that term insurrection.
01:26:38.060 Some of these folks she wanted to point out were white women.
01:26:41.480 And I know we're talking a lot about oath keepers and proud boys, but I do think that some
01:26:45.120 of the white women who have adopted this ideology need to be discussed.
01:26:49.820 Is America ready to face the fact that some of those folks look like people they have elevated
01:26:54.120 and put on a pedestal of being untouchable?
01:26:57.280 What do you say about this wing of white women who have been radicalized and are enablers
01:27:01.440 to this very dangerous domestic terrorism movement we've seen increase quite rapidly?
01:27:05.560 I could, I could give you 10 more that are way worse than any of these.
01:27:08.080 That's just what we pulled in a simple Google search.
01:27:09.920 So, joy, oh joy, Tiffany Cross is gone.
01:27:14.880 I had to really think hard and remember who she was.
01:27:18.200 Nobody knows.
01:27:19.040 Because I totally, I mean, she, I remember who she, because she's nasty and I know she
01:27:23.480 went after you a lot too.
01:27:25.080 She's, her whole show, if memory serves, the content is just essentially a YouTube section,
01:27:31.620 comment section, right?
01:27:32.620 I mean, that's her whole content.
01:27:33.780 It's just one angry YouTube comment section diatribe.
01:27:37.520 That's, that's her whole entire show.
01:27:39.100 I can see probably why, Megan, it didn't offer much value to the network.
01:27:44.300 It's kind of hard to sell ads on, you know, some Karen screaming about, you know, all of
01:27:49.700 these grievances that she sees everywhere that don't actually exist.
01:27:53.440 And she doesn't even have her facts straight on half of it all the time or any of it all
01:27:56.940 the time.
01:27:57.560 I just, I think people are tired of that kind of, I think they're even tired of it on
01:28:01.460 the left.
01:28:02.120 I mean, I think the only people maybe who watch that stuff or are AOC and then the squad,
01:28:07.540 those are maybe like, that's their, those are the key ones, their audience.
01:28:11.720 Nobody else watches that.
01:28:12.300 Joy Reid watched her show.
01:28:13.240 And yeah, I mean, it's, it's absurd, but I, you know what, my, I tip my hat to MSNBC and
01:28:17.780 NBC for doing the right thing.
01:28:19.280 Because as I said, she was, she was, I think it's hysterical well-deserved.
01:28:25.400 So she's gone.
01:28:26.840 We'll see about Sonny Hauston.
01:28:28.280 Let me ask you before I let you go.
01:28:29.580 You mentioned your segment on the view or not your segment, but you made a comment about
01:28:33.220 in defense of Herschel Walker and you were like, I don't care.
01:28:36.140 I'm voting for him anyway.
01:28:37.060 We want control of the Senate.
01:28:38.360 And they went after you.
01:28:39.980 We have a clip of that.
01:28:41.080 And I'd love to ask you about it before we, before we wrap up.
01:28:43.360 If the Daily Beast story is true, you're telling me Walker used his money to reportedly
01:28:53.740 pay some skank for an abortion and Warnock wants to use all of our monies to pay a whole
01:29:02.020 bunch of skanks for abortions.
01:29:04.180 First of all, ma'am, there's a lot of women who find themselves in a position of having to
01:29:11.880 have an abortion.
01:29:12.520 How dare you call them skanks, first of all.
01:29:20.680 And I believe the whole point is that Walker is saying, I believe that this is murder.
01:29:26.340 I believe that and has paid supposedly for women to have abortions.
01:29:31.360 That's the point.
01:29:32.640 If you're going to, if we're going to have these discussions, please stick to them and
01:29:37.140 not go off calling people names because I'm keeping calling you a name.
01:29:42.520 Out of my mouth because it's not the right thing to do now.
01:29:46.380 Right.
01:29:46.660 It's just exposes that the moral rot that's taking over my party.
01:29:50.200 Like I listening to that, I can't can't defend that for a second there.
01:29:53.520 And as a pro-life woman to hear someone else like Dana, who is pro-life, call women who
01:30:00.520 get into situations where they need abortion skanks is just shameful.
01:30:03.780 And I will not defend that.
01:30:06.220 It's so weird, Dana, because I did not hear Whoopi call out Sunny Hostin when she referred
01:30:11.080 to women prepared to vote Republican as cockroaches.
01:30:14.820 She, she, she doesn't like name calling because I heard it just yesterday and she didn't say
01:30:19.800 anything.
01:30:21.160 No.
01:30:21.680 And what is with this women who get into situations?
01:30:23.860 You don't trip over something in your house and fall down and get pregnant.
01:30:26.960 That's not how that happens.
01:30:28.240 Thank God.
01:30:28.620 It's definitely recreational activity, which leads to pregnancy that is terminated
01:30:34.000 electively.
01:30:35.560 That's what we're talking about.
01:30:36.860 Shame on them.
01:30:37.500 And they, and they absolutely do need to call out Sunny Hostin for this.
01:30:40.360 But this whole, I mean, I think it's kind of skanky to not understand how biology works,
01:30:44.660 but if they want me to triple down on it, I will, because it's ridiculous.
01:30:47.720 I mean, I don't have praise for women who use that as, as a form of birth control, particularly
01:30:53.460 choice before conception, all about it.
01:30:55.920 I don't know why their party opposed, uh, over the counter birth control pills.
01:30:59.760 I mean, I find that I find it to be a moral rot to not comment on the loss of life and to
01:31:05.040 use that as a tool, uh, as voter outreach for women and to use it as a form of, of birth
01:31:11.320 control for sexual recreation.
01:31:12.940 And then for them to call women who vote for Republicans as roaches, but that's, that's
01:31:17.860 okay.
01:31:18.480 But commenting on loose behavior and that's what it is.
01:31:21.600 I'm not going to sit here and coddle it and be like, oh, well, women who find themselves
01:31:24.920 in situations.
01:31:25.620 Did y'all miss biology class?
01:31:27.460 You have sex.
01:31:29.400 You have intercourse.
01:31:30.840 There is a physical activity that occurs.
01:31:34.660 And when you consider rape and incest are less than 1% of all of those, we're talking
01:31:38.860 about the wide majority.
01:31:40.300 There is an action that takes place.
01:31:43.320 That's what that is.
01:31:44.060 You don't just find yourself in a position.
01:31:46.220 No, you have sex.
01:31:47.460 Oh my gosh.
01:31:48.120 We're grown ass women.
01:31:49.260 Okay.
01:31:49.580 But that does not make us skanks.
01:31:51.460 Wait, we can't out dismiss as skanks any woman who has premarital sex.
01:31:55.620 And look, it is.
01:31:57.040 No, we're talking about women who are constantly using abortion as birth.
01:32:00.820 I do.
01:32:01.900 I mean, I could say murderous, but so I felt like I was being generous by saying skank.
01:32:06.920 Well, we don't know whether that's the case with Herschel Walker's.
01:32:09.140 We don't have no idea, actually, what the relationship was there.
01:32:12.400 We have no idea.
01:32:13.400 And, Megan, since when do we go and believe everything that the legacy press immediately
01:32:17.180 says about a conservative candidate?
01:32:19.160 I don't know.
01:32:19.420 Maybe like that Tudor Dixon made up that story about the voter who was switching from
01:32:23.420 Dem to Republican.
01:32:24.440 I mean, was that?
01:32:25.260 Oh, wait.
01:32:26.260 Well, wait.
01:32:27.120 His clarification.
01:32:28.440 Maybe that'll be in tonight's super unfunny monologue.
01:32:31.400 Dana Lash, it's always fun to talk to you.
01:32:33.700 I miss talking to you more often.
01:32:35.080 Let's do it again soon.
01:32:36.520 Yes.
01:32:36.920 Good to see you, Megan.
01:32:38.160 All right.
01:32:38.440 You too.
01:32:38.720 It's time for another edition of the MK Mailbag, where I read some of your questions and comments
01:32:46.600 on the air.
01:32:47.300 You can send them in to Megan, M-E-G-Y-N, at MeganKelley.com.
01:32:53.760 And while you're doing that, don't forget to head on over to MeganKelley.com to sign up for
01:32:58.360 our American News Minute, my weekly note to you that comes out every Friday.
01:33:03.660 We're getting great, great feedback on it, and I think you'll get a kick out of it and
01:33:07.000 information.
01:33:07.800 All right.
01:33:07.980 Let's get to the first email.
01:33:09.640 I got a couple of comments in that I thought I'd mentioned from yesterday's interview with
01:33:13.460 Dr. Robert Gary, the guy who was defending his position that COVID began in nature with
01:33:20.960 an animal and was not manufactured in that Wuhan lab.
01:33:23.980 So here's one from Anne in Connecticut saying, listening to the Dr. Robert Gary interview,
01:33:29.700 my head is about to explode.
01:33:31.000 Hang in there, Megan.
01:33:31.940 This guy is so full of it.
01:33:33.140 He stinks to high heaven.
01:33:34.940 The viewers were not like big fans of Dr. Gary's, but I still am glad that he came on.
01:33:40.760 All right.
01:33:41.500 Question.
01:33:42.740 Cindy Edwards writes in, have you read any good books lately that would help us make sense
01:33:46.380 of this crazy, fastly changing world we are living in right now?
01:33:49.700 I've mentioned it a couple of times.
01:33:50.900 I got an advanced copy of it.
01:33:52.180 Spencer Clavin's how to save the West.
01:33:56.160 He's read everything.
01:33:58.000 He's done all the research that we haven't done on history and Socrates and Plato and
01:34:03.080 all of them.
01:34:03.900 And he's condensed it into life lessons that we can apply to today's problems when it comes
01:34:09.560 out, which is, I think, February.
01:34:10.920 I just looked it up.
01:34:11.840 Valentine's Day.
01:34:12.880 Buy it.
01:34:13.600 Give it away.
01:34:14.400 Read it for yourself.
01:34:15.360 You'll see what I mean.
01:34:16.320 OK, Jay writes in about White House press conferences.
01:34:20.420 And a lot of people ask about these at White House press conferences.
01:34:24.080 The press secretary gets a question.
01:34:26.300 In most cases, she never answers the question.
01:34:29.300 Why doesn't the reporter press the press secretary by stating you did not answer the question?
01:34:35.020 Please just answer the question.
01:34:36.920 Almost every time the reporter just lets it pass and it drives me nuts.
01:34:40.980 Please clear this up for me, Jay.
01:34:43.740 You're exactly right.
01:34:44.980 They should do that.
01:34:46.300 If it were me, I'd be sitting there saying that's not an answer to answer.
01:34:50.280 My question is that a yes or no?
01:34:51.600 I'd stay on them for all the time I had.
01:34:54.000 There does get to be a point at which you've got to cede the mic to the next reporter.
01:34:57.940 So realistically, you probably only get one chance to press on it.
01:35:02.320 And if we really had a good press, the next reporter would say, I want an answer to Megan's question, too.
01:35:09.440 And they just stay on her to the point where she realized there was no dodging.
01:35:14.560 Maybe someday we can always hope or dream.
01:35:18.080 You would have thought they would have at least done it during the Trump years, right?
01:35:20.560 They're all united against him.
01:35:21.840 Why didn't they at least do it then?
01:35:23.740 Nope.
01:35:24.600 They don't want answers.
01:35:25.700 Most of them are looking to showcase and wow you so they can have a viral moment.
01:35:29.240 It's sad.
01:35:29.680 Thank you all for joining us today.
01:35:31.400 Next week, we are all in on the election, including our very first Megan Kelly show election special Tuesday night at nine.

01:35:52.060 Thanks for listening and have a great weekend.
01:35:56.360 Thanks for listening to The Megan Kelly Show.
01:35:58.280 No BS, no agenda, and no fear.
