00:14:40.440say, we're either not going to make this a spectacle or we are. Stephanie is the one who
00:14:46.080held a whole presser about herself two weeks ago. This is, it's not the media making this a story.
00:14:54.080It's her ridiculous players and coaches and herself. Joining me now to react is Michael
00:15:01.560Knowles. He's host of the Michael Knowles show on the Daily Wire. Imagine this. You are surrounded
00:19:49.560But they can't say that because their own ideology leads necessarily to it.
00:19:53.580And I think the issue with the WNBA in particular, not to make it personal or to pry into the personal lives of the players, but the WNBA includes a lot of women who prefer other women.
00:20:05.560It's got there are a lot of lesbians in the WNBA.
00:20:22.080But because the league has so openly embraced gender nonconformity, you know, the breaking of sexual norms, they can never exclude the transgender ideology.
00:20:33.320So Inez Cantor-Freedom is always going to be able to get up on his soapbox there,
00:20:37.160and the WNBA is just not going to be able to defend itself.
00:20:41.180The business with the turtle is really just such a middle finger to everybody.
00:20:45.160Now, finally, we get two guys who are willing to put this to the test.

00:21:17.400this to happen, gender doesn't matter. We're just inclusive. Why won't they let Ennis and the other
00:21:23.760guy, what's his name? Royce White, play in the WNB? Because they weren't able to come up with a
00:21:30.860rule that would determine whether they'd be allowed or not. They're really struggling with
00:21:35.080what the rule should be. And you and I both know they're never going to let these two join a WNBA
00:21:40.220team. No, they can't. I mean, the fact is the WNBA knows at a very basic level that men and women
00:21:46.640are different. They know that men are better athletes than women, basically across the board.
00:21:52.660They understand the reason for the league's existence, but their audience doesn't want to
00:21:59.180admit it. A lot of their players don't want to admit it. They have intrinsically, I guess,
00:22:05.060as a sort of feminist project, embraced the woke ideology. And what the woke ideology says,
00:22:10.900if you really scratch these guys after a couple of drinks, it's not that they're really laboring
00:22:15.440under the delusion that men can become women. What they're really arguing is that it is better
00:22:20.520to lie. That if we lie about men becoming women, if we lie about sports, if we lie about whatever,
00:22:25.580if we lie, that will make people happier. That will be better for certain people.
00:22:29.900That the truth, in other words, is cruel and enslaving, which is a total inversion of how
00:22:34.400we've traditionally thought about this, which is that lies are very bad for you and that the truth
00:22:40.100will set you free. They just flip that. And so you don't need to convince them that Inez Cantor
00:22:45.600Freedom isn't a woman. They just are angry that Inez Cantor Freedom won't lie. They're angry
00:22:49.920that the rest of us won't lie as well. And I think it clearly lost the common sense for them
00:22:55.460broadly in in the election and when the left comes to us then and says well you guys don't
00:23:01.240even like women's sports my answer is you're right i don't like women's sports i don't care
00:23:07.280about it i don't women's tennis is sometimes kind of interesting to watch i guess but they're not
00:23:12.680the male tennis players are way better if the women want to have sports leagues good for them
00:23:16.860if they want to exercise like great you know ladies have at it get scholarships good for you
00:23:21.480the reason I care about this issue has nothing to do with women's sports. I barely care about
00:23:26.060men's sports. The reason I care about this issue is justice. I mean, that's what I think is so
00:23:31.680offensive to normal people. It is wrong for giant dudes to beat up women in sports. It's wrong for
00:23:36.720them to take their trophies and their scholarships. We just know it's unjust. It preys upon vulnerable
00:23:42.840women. And so that's the reason we don't want it. And they have no answer to that.
00:23:47.060The issue, of course, goes well beyond the WNBA, and that's one of the reasons why we are interested, because people like you and yours truly and many others have been trying to stop this nonsense for quite some time.
00:23:59.700And just when you think we're making progress, you see a situation like this, which is just like some weird, woke crockpot of what would happen if we removed all the Michael Knowleses from the world and the Matt Walshes and me and everybody who's been fired.

00:24:22.020on like this, where it's just woke ideology run amok. And I wanted to tell you something.

00:26:26.680First, we need to add a few more options because I can't help but notice they excluded he, her.
00:26:33.720In other words, that one is a male in the nominative declension, but a woman in the accusative.
00:26:41.680So right there, that's an obvious exclusion.
00:26:43.920I am a male subject, but a female object, or vice versa.
00:26:47.500Obviously, you have to add a lot more to that.
00:27:44.640Yes, you'll quickly find the answer is nothing.
00:27:47.580And I did, not to take too much credit as an Olstradamus seeing the future,
00:27:51.740But I did kind of predict this would happen a few years ago, which is everyone said that transing the kids was nuts.
00:27:58.660You know, that was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back.
00:28:01.100And there were some people who wanted to just go back a little further, which is, okay, well, we'll just trans the adults, but not the kids.
00:28:06.920So we won't have the Z-Zem Zibbity-Dop on the, you know, 17-year-old's college application.
00:28:12.300But for a 25-year-old, that's a different story.
00:28:21.480But anyway, if you kind of zoom back a little bit, you realize that just as we had to get to transing the kids because the left had adopted a gender ideology that really goes back to feminism.
00:28:34.220feminism saying that men and women are basically the same once you establish that and you really
00:28:39.680hold to that as some kind of uh unshakable truth then all of a sudden well if men and women are
00:28:44.480basically the same then we need to have the gay rights movement because those behaviors which
00:28:48.860are gender uh non-conforming or gender deviant well we just have to apply them and then you're
00:28:54.840probably going to get to redefining marriage because men and women are basically the same
00:28:57.820so why would marriage just be between a man and a woman that they're interchangeable and once you
00:29:01.940get to gay marriage, the human rights campaign, which was the biggest pro-gay marriage organization
00:29:06.180in the country, day after Obergefell, what did they do? They became the trans organization.
00:29:10.560They did it in part so the money wouldn't dry up, but also because that was the inexorable logic of
00:29:15.940that gender ideology. And then once you establish transgenderism, you got to trans the kids. What?
00:29:22.960Transgenderism is true. It's a fact of human nature, but only once on your 18th birthday?
00:29:27.920That doesn't make any sense. So just as you saw this kind of inexorable movement, I'm getting so
00:29:34.660worked up, I'm knocking my microphone over. But just like the inertia of that physical object,
00:29:39.420you get this logic moving all the way over to transiting the kids. The minute you crack that,
00:29:43.960which is what happened in 2022, 2023, you're going to start moving back in the opposite direction.
00:29:49.940And I think you've seen this in a big shift in public opinion, all the way down to public
00:29:53.980support for same-sex marriage is really declining pretty rapidly. Why is that? Because, okay,
00:29:59.760if the principle was wrong, then we got to go in the other direction. And for these left-wing
00:30:03.840organizations, notably the California universities, they can't because they still believe it. They
00:30:08.940still believe the premise. And so they're going to deny until they die, to quote my old pals in
00:30:13.380New York. You know, they're really holding firm to this. And so woke 2.0 is, it's just going to
00:30:19.320be woke 1.0, but a little bit more deceptive. We're just going to try not to talk about it as
00:30:24.520much. But those issues that we thought we defeated a few years ago, they remain as alive today as
00:30:29.680they ever were. I think that's absolutely right. And shame on that Jonathan Carl of ABC News who
00:30:36.200let her get away with that nonsense. All right. Forging forward, the two grifters of Montecito
00:30:41.680are now moving back to the UK. Thank God our prayers are answered. They're going to be somebody
00:30:47.540else's problem now. And it hit over the weekend that the reason, reports Tina Brown, who's a
00:30:54.020longtime reporter in the entertainment field, and she's got sources in the UK on the royals.
00:30:59.880The reason, at least in part, that they chose to do it, she reports, is that the Duchess of
00:31:05.780Duplicity was well into negotiations for a job, an acting job in a Guy Ritchie project called
00:31:15.460The Gentleman, which is in its second season now. It's about to premiere its second season.
00:31:21.080Whether it has a third season is actually still up in the air. But there was a negotiation,
00:31:26.000a discussion underway about if they get a third season, whether Meghan Markle might have a role
00:31:32.020in it. And no sooner had she reported that than The Hollywood Reporter came out with a report
00:31:39.100saying it's not happening, saying there's been too much backlash already. There's no role for
00:31:45.860Meghan Markle in this project or really any other right now. I believe that's the sequence. I think
00:31:51.720it was The Hollywood Reporter that reported the meltdown. Hold on, let me just make sure. But
00:31:55.680it's off. Basically, the bottom line is it's off. She won't be getting the job.
00:32:00.460And you tell me, Michael, whether anybody should consider hiring one or both of these grifters after we get, for example, a report in the New York Times over the weekend pointing out that all they did for that $20 million from Spotify was that one 11 or 12 episode archetypes that Meghan Markle put out that no one listened to.
00:32:30.460to that offered not a single profundity. It was just her practicing her woke little platitudes
00:32:37.920on D-list celebrities who agreed to come on. And so that's why you have like Bill Simmons
00:32:44.300calling them effing grifters. Netflix at least got that one, you know, docu-series or whatever
00:32:51.300it was, that one movie of the two of them and Megxit leaving the royal family. That was it.
00:32:55.620That's all they got. And so turn after turn, they have taken people's millions only to disappoint.
00:33:02.140And I just think, A, you're going to get a grifter who's going to take advantage of you. And B,
00:33:07.620you are going to get blowback because no one likes these two. And we do not want to watch her
00:33:13.920or him, frankly, on any screen, large or small. Yeah, that's the big message to the showbiz
00:33:20.580people, which is, no, of course you can't hire her or both of them because they're box office
00:33:25.860poison. So, you know, they got the big deal. They got the big Netflix deal and it didn't work out.
00:33:30.720So just at a basic business level, no, in the field that Meghan Markle decided to blow up the
00:33:37.260royal family in order that she could pursue it, they haven't worked. So they're fleeing
00:33:42.120Southern California now. But forget about show business for a second. Just think about any
00:33:47.780business. I could not hire those two to hold up a sandwich board on the side of the highway to tell
00:33:53.240people to buy Mayflower cigars. And the reason that I would not hire them for that job, and no
00:33:58.080one really could hire them for any job, is they've demonstrated that they are deeply untrustworthy.
00:34:03.420They have revealed secrets about their family or perhaps even made up stories about their family.
00:34:08.700They have attacked their family in their grandmother's dying days, the late great
00:34:12.920Queen Elizabeth. They have proven to be duplicitous. And so you really can't trust
00:34:18.980them in those things. And now they don't know what to do. So they're running home. This is
00:34:22.640great news for Americans. I send my condolences to his majesty, King Charles. I'm sure this is
00:34:28.600going to make his life much more difficult. And poor William, you know, as Prince William now is
00:34:34.820looking at an aging father who is ill, he's preparing to ascend the throne. He now has
00:34:40.840the the villainous brother coming back with the wicked witch wife and you know this is really
00:34:45.660something out of a fairy tale and usually those stories don't don't end up very well uh but the
00:34:50.600saddest part of the whole saga really didn't have to be this way uh because prince william and prince
00:34:55.960harry famously had a good relationship and they had so much public support after their mother was
00:35:01.860killed and he they could have had a good life and you know harry had this military career and a lot
00:35:07.020of public popularity. And he marries this woman who clearly has more than a screw loose. And the
00:35:13.520woman was an actress. In other words, she grew up watching Disney movies, wanting to be a princess.
00:35:19.360And then she played a princess on TV. And then she won the lottery. She actually got to be a
00:35:26.280real princess. And what did she decide? She decided she would prefer to play a princess on TV.
00:35:32.680She'd rather be a pretend princess than a real one.
00:35:35.840And this, I think, has deep political import for a lot of people,
00:35:39.260which is a lot of people, they want the appearance of the thing.
00:35:42.460They want all the benefits of the thing.
00:37:19.380I saw it. It's hard because now like people could watch her in that show suits and think, oh, she's a good a good Rachel, whatever she was, a paralegal.
00:37:29.400Now all you see is Meghan Markle, who blew up the royal family, who stole a prince of England, who called an entire country that had been nothing but good to her racist,
00:37:42.000who helped kill the queen by putting her through hell her last couple of years on earth,
00:37:47.780who didn't care when Prince Philip, the queen's husband, was in the hospital, potentially dying.
00:37:53.020As it turns out, he did die and was dying by smearing some unknown royal as a racist within
00:37:59.180the family. So the racism thing has been repeated with them. That's all we see. And then somebody
00:38:05.640who at every turn cries victim, poor me, poor me, not to mention her disaster tourism and her
00:38:11.920bullying nature where everybody works for her quits. She thinks nothing of reducing woman after
00:38:17.120woman to tears who work for her because her standards are just so high, but she's all about
00:38:21.080the women. She's a super high feminist. And now, okay, now she's doing it again, Michael, because
00:38:27.580she wants to return to the UK just at the time when Princess Kate has just relatively recently

01:02:04.960our children or take a vacation. That's, that's what normal people do, Harry. That's what they
01:02:09.800do. So to me, it's very interesting because I think what you have here is the ultimate spoiled
01:02:18.320brat, right? Every generation that makes it, you know, where you have a successful set of parents,
01:02:27.380one or both parents have, you know, done well in their careers and or earned a lot of money,
01:02:35.820wants the next gen to still do better and worries that their success might result in apathy
01:02:43.440amongst the next gen. They need that fire in the belly. You know, like I wasn't poor when we were
01:02:50.780being raised, but we certainly didn't have extra spending money. And as a child of the 80s, I
01:02:56.380really loved those 80s clothes. And I really, really wanted to be able to buy clothes if I
01:03:01.420wanted them, or this is my teenage fantasy. I mean, I've since matured, but that was a motivator for
01:03:06.600me. You know, I'm going to go out, I'm going to work. I'm going to get a summer job, maybe two
01:03:10.180every summer so I can start earning and I can get what I want. Back then it was
01:03:14.720Forenza v-neck sweaters, okay? This is how most people are. They recognize that the route to
01:03:20.460having what they want is elbow grease. It's hard work. It's self-sacrifice. But this spoiled brat
01:03:28.120wanted to sit in the Montecito mansion, which he got because of that Netflix documentary and
01:03:35.240this Spotify deal. Ultimately, he would have spare too, but he didn't write spare. That was
01:03:39.040written by the Agassiz co-writer, the Agassiz ghost author. And so in any event, he didn't
01:03:46.680have to do anything. He had to sit with that guy and tell him some stories about what it was like
01:03:49.480to be a prince. And for the Spotify thing, he had to do absolutely nothing. She did that 12 episode
01:03:54.560thing, which was right up her alley because it made her sound like she knew what she was talking
01:03:57.880about when it came to feminism and empowerment and working and life as a founder, right? And then
01:04:04.480it came time to actually earn it. And he, he wouldn't, he wouldn't get off his lily white ass

01:04:38.940distances in the heat, in the traffic, in the summer traffic, which around various parts of
01:04:46.440the country is absolutely oppressive and completely stopped at standstills for long periods of time.
01:04:52.680um you know having to sleep in the rig in many instances you get your food on the road you don't
01:04:59.700see your family a lot my old hair dresser at fox who's a dear friend of mine who's a doll i love
01:05:05.840and miss her all the time she's married to a trucker and she used to miss him all the time
01:05:10.960she adored him but he was on the road all the okay my point is simply they work it's not all
01:05:17.200fun and glory. It's not all Klieg lights, Harry, as your name comes up in lights as the Netflix
01:05:23.900curtain lifts or on a story that is yours, but somebody else told. You sat for a few interviews.
01:05:30.320If you actually want to earn money, you have to work. It's very simple. Work. Just work.
01:05:39.040And he won't do it. He's a spoiled brat. And frankly, so is she thinking she can walk right
01:05:47.120into a U.S. Senate seat because she's Californian. And you know she played the race card. There is
01:05:52.920zero doubt in my mind that she played the race card to make that happen. Again, she denies the
01:05:58.140story, but I believe every word of it. And Newsom's office would be denying it too,
01:06:03.000if it weren't true. The fact that they wouldn't comment tells me a lot. So shame on him. And
01:06:08.960honestly, it's a disappointing story from the goals of Princess Diana, because I think I've
01:06:15.680told you this story before, maybe you've heard it on your own, but it's a great story. It's about
01:06:19.320when the boys were little, Harry and William, and they went to a restaurant. And so they were
01:06:25.400little, the boys were little, she took them to a restaurant and it was after hours because they
01:06:30.360couldn't just waltz into any restaurant, Princess Diana and these two boys, but they gave them the
01:06:35.480menus. And then on the menus was a little insert that read specials and it had the specials of the
01:06:42.340day. And one of the boys asked Princess Diana, are these because we're here? And she laughed
01:06:49.160and said, no, everyone gets the specials. This is not about you being special. This
01:06:57.520is about making the menu exciting and have new offerings for everyone. Not everything's
01:07:04.460about you. And she tried to raise those boys with that understanding to keep just a semblance
01:07:11.780of humility in them. And maybe it's because she died too young. Maybe they were in, you know,
01:07:19.940the crown's control for too long and too many hours of the day, but it didn't take on Harry.
01:07:25.760It didn't because he wasn't willing to work. That's why he got called a grifter. It's why
01:07:31.440he rejected the hot chocolate idea and the let me fix it idea without proposing any of his own.
01:07:36.900He just didn't want to do it. And the one thing he did for Netflix outside of that documentary about his family, calling his country racist, ripping on his, everybody, especially his dad's wife and his book and so on.
01:07:51.620But the only other thing he did for Netflix was a documentary on polo. Okay. This is not relatable. This is not the answer to your troubles, Harry. Literally nobody plays polo. Nobody outside of a very, very elite circle.

01:09:00.620over the weekend. But he was saying, one of the reasons I deserve a retrial is because there was

01:09:10.660evidence would come in. And I now regret that, basically. He claimed that the prosecution
01:09:16.280violated the agreement in a way that kept Carmelo from taking the stand. And this was a deep,
01:09:23.340flawed problem in the prosecution's conduct. All of it was rejected. Okay, so just know that.
01:09:29.500But it was a stunning reveal because the prosecution, in responding to these accusations, said, let me tell you why this agreement was completely voluntary on the side of Carmelo Anthony and actually made a lot of sense for him and why if we didn't have this agreement, it wouldn't have been all rainbows and unicorns for Carmelo as he now wants this court to believe.
01:09:56.000And the prosecution dropped some bombshells in its filing.
01:10:00.920Well, over the weekend, we actually went and tried to pull the filing, couldn't get, we've reached out to everybody in the case, it's not yet public.
01:10:08.280But we did find a local report going in-depth, a local reporter down in CBS Texas found it, J.D. Mills, and reported on exactly what both sides were saying was about to be revealed, had they gone into character evidence.

01:10:32.320My overall takeaway is these were two angry young men, not just Carmelo, Austin too.

01:21:18.600own business. This is a good kid. No. When you hear this history, you're not going to be surprised
01:21:25.400at all, at all, that he wound up stabbing Austin Metcalf in the heart for no reason or because he
01:21:33.100felt threatened because Austin told him to leave the tent, that he did not react like a normal
01:21:38.080teenage boy who most of us know plenty of teenage boys would react upon having his ego bruised or

01:22:18.380uh, CBS reports that on the day that Carmelo Anthony would fatally shoot, sorry, stab Austin
01:22:24.680Metcalf, prosecutors say he sent a text message at 1am, which read, I'm low key on the verge.
01:22:31.440We told you about that one last week. And then he emphasized it, you know, adding some sort of
01:22:35.660emphasis to it. Later in the morning on April 2nd, this is the day of the murder, hours before he
01:22:40.300would kill Austin Metcalf, Anthony's girlfriend reported to a Centennial High School staff member
01:22:46.720that Carmelo Anthony was engaging in stalking behavior to include, but not limited to, driving
01:22:52.440by her home and refusing to allow her to end their relationship. That too we knew last week.
01:22:57.560In a 75-page filing, prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony had previously been accused of stealing
01:23:03.880his girlfriend's phone. And in October of 2024, again, the murder happened in April of 2025. So
01:23:10.080this is just months before, um, wrote a to-do list for his girlfriend about how to deal with
01:23:16.760quote weirdos, which included the line, say some slick, say some slick, like something slick,
01:23:23.800like my BF kill people, boyfriend, the ridiculous vernacular. Okay. Say some slick like my BF kill
01:23:34.180people. Um, this is from Carmelo's own texts. There are text messages where he admits on at
01:23:41.480least two occasions to punching girls in the face. My friends, we have boys on both sides
01:23:47.400of this confrontation who like to hit girls. That's like, think of all the teenage boys you
01:23:53.800know. What would it take to make any teenage boy you know punch a girl? Both of them have repeated
01:24:03.160incidents of allegedly doing it. Text messages where he admits it to at least two occasions of
01:24:09.220punching girls in the face. Prosecutors also found text messages from 2021 between Carmelo
01:24:15.340and another student about robbing someone for $300. Charming. Then there are other text messages
01:24:21.740where Carmelo Anthony talks about a fight and punching someone, quote, so hard he had to stop
01:24:28.200fighting. In 2023, prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony told a friend he was going to vandalize someone's
01:24:33.980house in Austin, Texas, saying, quote, I just feel like it. I got a grudge. In 2021, Carmelo Anthony
01:24:40.640And he told a friend he had been suspended from school for three days for fighting, saying, quote, they said next time I do some, I get recommended for expulsion, according to court documents.
01:24:52.280In a text conversation with a friend in 2023, prosecutors have messages from Carmelo Anthony in which he wrote, I must shoot the school up tomorrow with my blick, but later sent messages saying I would never actually do that.
01:25:07.960Okay. In 2024, now we're a year before the fatal stabbing of Austin, in a text thread, prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony admitted to carrying a firearm, telling friends before the party that he would have the gun in my pocket.
01:25:24.060According to the documents, there are other message threads in which Anthony also mentions carrying a gun and carrying it to places where it did not belong.
01:25:32.700his teen years in Louisiana after numerous suspensions for fighting, okay, while attending
01:25:41.220school in Louisiana. There are messages between Carmelo and his girlfriend after he moved to
01:25:44.880Frisco, Texas, according to court documents. In one message thread, she suggests he should just
01:25:50.700sit for a while. And he replied, yeah, and punch people. My writing's covered up with my
01:25:59.100highlighting here. He replied, yeah, and punch people, maybe run sometimes. I have to. It's like
01:26:06.100a priority for me. I like punching people. When I get mad, I see red. When I get mad, I black out.
01:26:14.720When I get mad, I can't control myself. I mean, this is just devastating. This is freaking
01:26:20.820devastating stuff. If the jury had heard any of this, they would have come back even faster than

01:26:35.720It's a priority for me. Punching people, carrying weapons around where they don't belong,
01:26:44.560dealing with his overwhelming anger. Prosecutors also produced messages where Carmelo Anthony
01:26:50.520admitted to getting high and drinking alcohol and even talking about selling drugs to get guns.
01:26:56.760Okay, getting high and drinking alcohol is something that a lot of high school students
01:27:00.400have done. Selling drugs to get guns is a different category. His text about guns and
01:27:05.920racial slurs, listen here. In 2024, prosecutors, again, this is the year before the stabbing,
01:27:11.660prosecutors say Anthony attempted to assault a teacher saying, I put my hands in face and
01:27:17.720everything. So now we've gone from assaulting girls to assaulting teachers. Also in 2024,
01:27:23.900messages obtained by prosecutors suggest Carmelo Anthony tried to bring a weapon into the State
01:27:29.080Fair of Texas, asking a friend of the State Fair got metal detectors. He was told yes. The friend
01:27:34.260responded, you got the poker? And Anthony responded, yeah, I might have to toss it. So it appears he
01:27:40.900tried to bring a gun. That's how it sounds. I guess they're referring to it as a poker or some
01:27:46.920sort of a weapon, at least, that he couldn't get through the metal detectors and therefore
01:27:51.960thought he might have to toss it. Prosecutors said Anthony admitted to stealing a watch
01:27:57.940and earbuds in separate burglaries in Collin County, Texas, and also to bringing a weapon
01:28:04.200onto Frisco School campus. This is a different incident than the one in which he brought a
01:28:12.040weapon onto Frisco School campus and stabbed Austin Metcalf to death. Why wasn't he expelled?
01:28:19.780Why was there any tolerance after the first incident? I know of a school where a kid was
01:28:24.840caught with a knife inappropriately on campus and he was expelled that day, that day, no questions
01:28:31.540asked. Why was he allowed to continue attending this school with this kind of a history and having
01:28:38.020brought a weapon on campus before. Honestly, like if that's true and this happened at this school,
01:28:43.880the Metcalf family, and maybe they're already considering it, has a serious potential lawsuit
01:28:48.460against the school. Okay. He had said about his girlfriend, she went in my bag to get my computer.
01:28:59.180I said no, and she still went in it and grabbed it. And my gun and my knife and some other stuff
01:29:06.280fell out. All right. Again, where if that was 2024 and it appears to be, again, I don't see
01:29:11.980the original document, so I can't clarify it for us. But if that was 2024, then I believe it was
01:29:17.360Frisco. And is there some record of him bringing a gun and a knife onto the campus prior to this
01:29:24.220particular day? That would be very relevant to a civil suit in particular. But I don't know when
01:29:28.980he moved to Frisco and I don't know when that reports from. There are numerous unreleased
01:29:32.940photos and videos of Carmelo Anthony holding firearms and making threats. We had seen at
01:29:38.980least one of those pictures of him holding firearms before. You're allowed to hold firearms.
01:29:42.480It's Texas. A lot of people have and hold and photograph themselves wearing firearms. But they
01:29:48.060went on to say that authorities found a note on Carmelo Anthony's phone with a long list of
01:29:53.660disturbing racial tropes and slurs about blacks, about whites and about Hispanics. Great. So both
01:30:03.820of these boys had a history of racial slurs against the other boys race. This kid about whites
01:30:12.200among others and Austin about blacks. Terrific. In one message thread, prosecutors say Carmelo
01:30:18.880Anthony wrote, I hate gay people. So not just a racial thing, but also a sexuality thing.
01:30:24.560Prosecutors say Carmelo Anthony repeatedly threatened to murder his girlfriend in text
01:30:30.060messages. So both have assaulted girls. One is called the teacher B word. One is threatened a
01:30:38.640teacher. And this one, Carmelo Anthony, as between these two boys, has reportedly threatened to
01:30:45.700murder his girlfriend. Some of them reading, quote, how many bullets you want coming out of
01:30:51.100your chest and, quote, I'm going to get you expletive. They also said that he threatened
01:30:57.320his girlfriend with a knife in one message and told her in another, we heard this last week,
01:31:02.220when I stabbed somebody, I'm going to lick their blood off the blade.
01:31:06.520I like can you imagine this can you imagine it if this were your son
01:31:15.600where where was the intervention by these parents prior to that day at the track meet where was it
01:31:25.640why why didn't they help Carmelo Anthony with his considerable anger I mean at least we know
01:31:33.440from the reports there, Austin Metcalf at least got some counseling for anger management
01:31:38.760at football games, I guess. I'm not sure if that was school mandated or what happened there.
01:31:44.860But where were Carmelo Anthony's parents in helping him manage his hair trigger and growing
01:31:52.320rage? A serious question. And what we saw in that report last Thursday was also that he had
01:31:59.900reportedly witnessed considerable violence and been subjected to it in the domestic setting.
01:32:08.340Who was responsible for that? Where is the parents accounting of that?
01:32:17.000I mean, all this says to me, these problems are actually foreseeable. This actually didn't come
01:32:22.360out of left field. It wasn't out of the blue. Carmelo Anthony was on a path of criminality,
01:32:31.020rage, and the inappropriate use of weapons and committing crime for many years prior to killing
01:32:38.240Austin Metcalf. And Austin Metcalf had at a minimum anger and temper control issues and was
01:32:47.880quick to hurt people that he had a disagreement with that upset him, including girls and threatening
01:32:57.360with teachers, and also had made racial slurs in the past. This is a powder keg, a powder keg that
01:33:05.500was brewing underneath that canopy that day. It doesn't change anything legally. Not one thing.
01:33:12.460It doesn't justify a thing that Carmelo Anthony did.
01:33:15.640In fact, it makes it worse from a lot of standpoints.
01:33:19.760But there's really nothing worse than being convicted of first-degree murder, which is what's happened to him.
01:33:23.520And he's going to jail for 35 years, and that's appropriate.

01:34:15.720It's just the defense wanted us to believe it was like a couple of mild character things that the prosecution inappropriately introduced.
01:34:23.500And therefore, you know, we were so confused and we didn't know where he was going to go.
01:34:28.060You would have been the jury would have been back in two minutes if this stuff had come out.
01:34:33.380notwithstanding that it doesn't make Austin Metcalf look good either,
01:34:37.360because the jury was going to be limited to deciding when it comes to self-defense
01:34:41.240what Austin Metcalf did in that moment.
01:34:43.740And he did not threaten Carmelo Anthony.
